We hope this message will light up your day.

All right, come, let's go into the word. Okay. And

and as we know, church, we have been in this

whole series of discipleship. Yeah, and that's the team that

God has given to us, not just for this year specifically,

but it's just that it's always been in the heart

of our church. We believe in building disciples because that's

what Jesus has taught us to his word. Right when

the very first thing that he did when he was

on land was he first chose his disciples, right. That

is the sermon that you heard the other day when

I preached that, he actually went to different ones and

said follow me. Right. We watched that that short video

the other day, and the disciples did the same to

the others as well. Right. And so it's actually if

you look at how Jesus, you know, call these disciples,

he made it very simple. Again, he was just being

faithful in what he was called to do, and he

was doing the same for the others, and the others

did the same to the rest. Okay. And so it's

a lot about what Paul tells us in the scriptures

imitate me as I imitate Christ. And so Christ has

always has always been our role model, okay, the one

that we look to, not on men, but to God himself. Right.

So for today's message, okay, we're going to go into

discipleship as well. And I'm going to draw from John

fifteen okay, where Jesus tells us about being the wine. Okay,

this is the I MS Okay, And as we read

this portion, you will see that Jesus actually tells that,

you know, you've got to abide in me, Okay, if not,

you'll not be able to bear fruit. And then the

scripture goes on that you know we are called to

be his disciples. Yeah, so let's just start with reading

a scripture here if you have your Bible so you

can and turned with me to John fifteen one to eight. Right,

John fifteen is it in the Old Testament or New Testament?

Just checking? Okay? So John fifteen versus one on wits Okay,

I'm reading from the NKJV version, So let's just go

through together, Okay. So it says here from verse one,

I am the true wine, and my father is the

wine dresser. Every branch in me that does not bear

fruit he takes away, and every branch that bears fruit

he proves that it may bear more fruit. You are

already clean because of the word which I have spoken

to you. Abide in me and I in you. As

the brunch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides

in the wine, neither can you unless you abide in me.

Was fine. If I am the wine, you are the branches.

He who abides in me and I in him bears

much fruit. For without me you can do nothing. If

anyone does not abide in me, he is cast out

as a branch and is with it. And they gather

them and show them into the fire, and they are burned.

If you abide in me and my words abide in you,

you will ask what you desire, and it shall be

done for you. By this, my Father is glorified that

you bear much fruit, so you will be my disciples. Amen.

So it's just a beautiful passage of how Jesus tells

us to abide in him. That's the that is how

it all starts, right. That is the root of what

we need to first get the foundation, and then from

there it says that we are called is disciples. Right.

Of course, we all know the greatest commission that God

has called us to do is to make disciples. Okay,

what he started off with we continue. Yeah, So when

we speak about discipleship, it's not about something that we Okay,

as long as you're attending church and you have a

leader before above you, you know to look out and

then you you know, be accountable. Okay, that's discipleship, right.

It doesn't just sometimes we get so caught up with systems. Okay, well,

this is how you do it, right. You look out

for this person, you message them, and they don't come

to church. Is that what discipleship is all about. I

think it's more than that, right, Discipleship is meant for

us to be able to start abiding on the true source. Okay.

But the problem is sometimes when we look to men

for everything for the source. Yeah, and when men fails us,

well men can fail us, right, our faith is shaken, right,

and then we begin to question God, what is going

on you know, or what am I even believing? And

then we choose to move further.

Right.

But when we get things right at the very start

of our fate and know that our true source is

founded in Jesus himself, like the Word of God says

the true wine, then everything else falls in place. And

so I think it's important that when we understand the

importance of abiding in Christ, we get the essence of discipleship.

You know, we can go on preaching many messages. In fact,

you have been if you have been attending church with

us for a while now, every other speaker has been

preaching about discipleship, right, But if you don't get the

root or the essence of why Jesus wants this for us,

we will never get the idea of why we need

to be disciples or to even disciple artists. So from

this scripture, yes we read, okay, we can see that

in John fifteen, for okay, it says he abide in

me and I in you, as the branch cannot bear fruit.

Very clear. It doesn't say maybe you can't bear fruit.

Yeah I think you on bafforuit, but it says you can't.

It's very straightforward. The world of God is very direct. Okay.

We know that the would have God penetrates to our hearts,

to our souls, right, and this is what the scripture

tells us. It's simple as that if you don't abide

in Jesus. If you don't look to him and you

don't have a relationship with him constantly communicating with him,

you just can't bear fruit. Okay. There's only that much

of things that we can do as humans. Yeah. And

so when we look at the word abide, okay, it

actually originates from Greek when it says men o, okay,

men o, your means to stay, yeah, to stay, to

remain and to wait again, that is the root word

of abiding. Right, So it means Jesus wants us to

stay put and they're seeking him, you know, to wait

on him. There's so many scriptures, right when we read

the Bible, it talks about waiting on the lords. Yeah,

but I'm sure when we hear these words, it's not

something that some would want to do because we are

so constantly on the move, right, we want to get

things done, We want to go on the get go,

especially if you're an active person. Right. But the truth

is actually is about waiting. And of course this word

waiting is not a passive word. It is an actionist

by itself. For someone who can wait on God, it

just means that you truly just have the patience to

see and hear what is God's will and not just mine.

And to me, I feel that takes more discipline because

it's so easy for us to do what we want

to do, right, But it takes courage, It takes strength

to take a step back and say no, Lord, I

think I rather just wait and see what you are

telling me before I take this decision, you know, or

before I go to this place. Right. So this is

what Jesus wants for us to remain and to wait

on him. So connection with God is a very deep

personal relationship. Yeah, it is something only you and God,

you know, can feel. And for those of you have

your devotion, your personal encounter with God, you know what

it means like right, just sitting in His presence, seeking

His face. And when we talk about seeking God, I

know sometimes in the church were always taught about, okay,

having a specific time of your devotion, which is important definitely,

whether it's in the mornings or the night, right. But

I think what's important is that we can abide the

name throughout the day, right, So, meaning you can just

constantly comminate to God. Because we know that our fate

is not just a religion where we are restricted to rituals.

You have to sit down and pray in a certain manner.

Of course, your heart poisono is important.

Right.

You don't have to look at a specific place to pray, right,

but you can just go to your room, have that

quiet time and speak to God. And even in your

daily life when you're driving, when you're in class or

at work, just constantly cultivating the presence of God. Right.

And I think that's key because the Holy Spirit is

always trying to find ways to minister to us. And

you know, we have the direct access. You don't need

another pastor to be in the middle to get to God.

You have direct access to Jesus and stuff. Yeah. And

so that is what remaining and waiting means, where you

can constantly be in the presence of God. Yeah. And

you know, when we read Collisions one twenty three, Okay,

it says, if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded

and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of

the Gospel which you heard, which was pressed to every

creature under heaven, of which I Paul became a minister.

And so Paul reminds us in the Book of Collusion

to be grounded in our faith to be stepfast and

to not move away. So it all goes back to

our foundation. Right. Life can come through different waves to

different you know, different direction, but if we know what

we're grounded on, nothing can shake us. Yeah. As humans,

you can feel emotional, you can have your downtimes, but

then your faith is not shaken. Okay, And I think

that is the key, no matter what age you could be,

young or old, Let's cultivate that strong foundation in waiting

in him. Amen. So now we're gonna talk a little

bit about you know, what are some of the traits

of a disciple. Yeah, when you look at someone, okay,

how do you know that this person is truly a

disciple of God? You know, and you're doing what the

scriptures have told us, right, And so I think we

have got to understand that. Of course, the first thing

the scripture tells us is about remaining waiting in Him.

And the other thing that the scripture teaches us here

is that every disciple goes through pruning. Right, every disciple

goes through pruning. Have you gone through that? Those pruning? Right?

When we say use the word pruning here, it just

means it's painful, Okay, pruning is never you can ever

sugar coote the word okay, because you need to see

this to do pruning. If you do gardening, you know

what this means. Right, And as we read earlier this

this word's two okay. The word specifically says that every

branch in me that does not bare fruit, he takes away. Okay,

I think this is important for us to pay attention.

If you don't bear fruit, it takes away. And every

run that bears fruit, he prunes that it may bear

more fruit. So if you're bearing fruit, why do you

think God still needs to prune you. That's what we

may think. Right, I'm doing the right thing. I am

seeing fruits being bad. But then the scripture tells us

that then even more you'll be prune. Yeah. And I

think when I was just reading this scripture, I was

just reminded that pruning always gets us back to God.

It always brings us back to abiding Him. So though

you have been serving, you know, though you have been

experiencing God and bearing fruits, but then again the pruning God,

I mean, God knows us more than anyone else. He

brings the proning again to say, okay, okay, maybe you're

going to your direction because you're doing this by yourself

all these years, and you kind of know how things work.

But let me remind you again, who's your true sauce,

who's your true wine? Yeah, And so if you're going

through pruning and you're life, if you're going through those

painful moments, let me just encourage you by saying that

it is all right. Yeah, because that's just sometimes how

God works to bring us back to Him, because sometimes

we can go too far away, even within the church. Yeah,

even within the church, we can just so get get

so caught up with serving. But do we have our devotion?

Do we have our quiet time with Him?

Right?

And so God causes those pruning to bring us back

to him. Yeah. When you speak about pruning, okay, there

are different methods if you read up about it, you know,

they call it the cane spruning, spurs spruning, and each

of it has its own tools to be used, you know.

And and the goal of doing I mean to prune

is actually to just cause more butts for flowers to

grow and from their fruits to be to be but

fought as well. Yeah. And when we speak about secifically,

of course the Scripture talks about wine. Here, it's important

to prune grape wines because that's the very first step

towards wine making. So people enjoy the end result the wine,

But little do we know that the pruning has to

take place to get there. Okay, and sometimes we just

see the end product, but there is a process that

brings us there. Yeah. Pruning is also the process of

removing the old or the date wood, because when a

wine is growing on a date wood, it stops. Okay,

it can grow continuously because the wood is already too old.

And so what the gardeners, you know, those who are

in charge of you know, these plants, what they do

is they'll actually remove those old wood and to make

sure the new ones are growing. Yeah, and I can't

just help, but think about sometimes our lie own lives

as well. Sometimes we hold on to the ole mindsets,

we hold on to the old perspectives, right, But God

sometimes wants to do a new work in you. He

wants you to bring He wants to bring you into

a new environment, a clear perspective, a new heart. Sometimes

we can be holding baggages, disappointments, of frustrations. Those are

all things. But if you bring it on with us

now it will affect what God is doing. So He's

trying to do things in your life. But because the

oil is still there, the new confer. Right, that is

why sometimes wines don't grow well because it just stuck,

gets stuck. Okay, it doesn't remain on the new wine. Yeah.

And so that is why you know, Jesus uses this

example to just remind us what it means to actually

abide on the true wine. Yeah. And when you think

about your life, okay, when you think about how your

journey has been with God, whether you've been serving, you've

been coming to church for a while now, or you

could have been a new believer, how has God been

working in you?

Right?

How have you seen the work of hand I mean

the work of God or his hands in your life? Right?

Those moments when you had that were a little bit low, okay,

or maybe it could be that season for you even

now the pruning is happening. What do you think God

is teaching you? And sometimes it's hard to see that

that lesson, like because I'm in pain, right, I can't

quite understand or comprehend what I'm going through. You may

be the idea is to just remain in God right,

to remain to wait on him and in due time

you'll answer your prayers. Yeah, that is pruning right. And

you know when we talk about pruning here, okay, just

too questions for you to think about. You know, how

has God been pruning our lives today? Yeah? Think about it.

Sometimes it's just good to reflect on what's happening within this.

You know, whether it's at your workplace, your family, How

has God been pruning our lives? And what do you

think are the results of this pruning? Right? And to

me personally, I see that pruning is what causes growth

to happen, right, Because sometimes it takes you out of

somewhere and puts you here though it's painful, right, Or

it takes out different people, you know, different situations, circumstances.

But then again, when you are where God positions you,

you see a growth taking place, right or sometimes a

greater focus. There can be so many things running in

our minds. There's so many kind of old wines and

they keep growing. But God causes those pruning so that

we can gain clarity in our minds, can be more

present and focus on what He wants us to do. Yeah.

So think about it. What is it that God may

be pruning in your lives? And what could the results be?

And if you've had seen those results, then share it

to someone right that God brought me out of it

and He has given me this freedom to experience when

you read Matthew thirteen. Okay, just quoting a scripture from

Matthew thirteen twelve. For whoever has to him more will

be given, and he will have abundance. But whoever does

not have, even what he has will be taken away

from him. Yeah, and I think this is a a

I imagine as a serious stone. You know, well, you've

got to do something with what I'm giving you. Right,

So the talents that God gives us, the abilities, sometimes

even in the form of time, whatever it is, if

we don't use it, the scripture tells us that even

that it will be removed from us. So my question

and encouragement for all of us this morning is what

are we doing with what He has given to us?

Because if we are truly called these disciples, it's an

it's a lifestyle. We've got to leave it out right.

And if you have the ability to speak to people,

to connect, but if you're not doing that well, The

people that is in your life may not always be there.

There might be somewhere else. Right, So God wants us

to be faithful what we have. If you want to

experience more, you've got to do with what you have

in hand. Yeah. If if He's given to you a talent,

use it. Don't just keep it to yourself and be

proud about it. No one, no one can see it, right,

And God maybe just nudging you and saying, hey, what

can you use this ability that I've given to you?

You can sing so well, right, you can play the instruments,

you could cook so well, whatever it is, right, how

can we use this talents to glorify God? Because true

disciples would do that, right, And that is what Jesus

himself was doing when he was on land. He was

constantly serving people, right, we know the story of how

we went and even washed the feet of his disciples.

That was who our God, Jesus is. Right. He was

not someone who I am the leader and you know,

everyone do the work right, but he was the one

who modeled it out. He showed it, and he constantly

told these disciples, do as what I did, Do as

what I did. So if we are called his disciples?

Are we doing what He has told us to do?

Having a servant heart, going the extra mouth of someone

loving them Though it can be difficult to love, to

forgive freely, right, Jesus is someone who forgive freely. Yeah?

What is it that God may be giving you a

nuts this morning, or He has been nudging you maybe,

but you're just saying stay away from me, or it's

not from God. Well, you know yourself if you've had

that relationship with God. Yeah, So let's use what we

have today. Yeah, don't just wait for tomorrow. Do it

now in whatever capacity you have. You know God, it

is never about comparing. Right. You may have the more time,

or you may have more resources, whatever it is, but

just use it for God's glory. Amen. So this's the

first in the two points that we can hear. First see, right,

disciples remain in God. I think that's key. Yeah. And

of course disciples goes through pruning. It's normal if you're

going through challenges. It's just I mean, it just means

that God is doing something in your lives. Yeah. And

of course the next thing that we can see from

the stript just is that disciples bear fruit right, disciples

bear fruit. If you plant a cherry tree or a

Dourian tree, what fruit do you think is going to bear?

You put the seeds of a Dorian tree, then you're

going to get Dorian. Of course, if something else comes out,

something is wrong. Right. So if we are called disciples

of Jesus, what fruits are we bearing? It has to

be fruits of Jesus, right, It has to be like him.

But if it's some other fruit, then I think it's

good to have a heart check. And sometimes, like I said,

if you're not careful enough, it can happen to even

believer us ourselves because our focus is not abiding on God.

We are abiding on other things. Sometimes it can be

abiding on men. But our true disciple is Jesus. And

if we are truly following him, and when we are

leading others, then the fruits that we are bearing has

to be of him. Yeah, has to be of him.

We see this in the same chapter fifteen, right, it

says two times yeah. In verse two. First, it says

every branch in me that does not bare fruit, he

takes away, and every branch that bears fruit he prunes

that you will bear more fruits. That's his plan. Yeah,

and then when we see verse five, I am the wine,

You are the branches. He who abides in me and

I in him bears much fruit. For without me you

can do nothing. So if something is being repeated, meaning

this is Jesus's plan that he wants us to bear

fruit right the moment we stay stagnant, especially in our faith.

You know, we just go to church, normal routine every

other day, and we don't see things happen. How do

you think you'd feel? Why is God not moving in

my life? Is there even a God? Yeah, it's normal

to feel like that. As a human, right, we are

created to create, right, we are created to dream, We

are created to achieve things, even in the smallest way.

We are created to have relationships, to do life. So

meaning God's intention has always been for us to be fruitful,

to do things, to be active. But if we remain

stagnant in our faith, then that's our emotions are going

to be stagnant. We become so numb we don't know

how to feel, We don't know how to respond or

what's my expression like? So that's why one of the

first things that we teach little children in school is expression. Actually, right,

how do you look happy? How do you look sad?

Because that's how God created us to be, to constantly

be alive, active, and to respond. Yeah, to respond. How

many of you are here this morning responding? Okay, responding

to the word of God. Okay. So discipleship is not

just an abstract concept, but it is a practical outworking

of our relationship with God. Now, if you have a

relationship with Him, automatically, you'll see things happen. Yeah, you

will see people noticing things in your life. You look

different because you know the way you speak, the way

you respond, That shows that God is working in you. Yeah.

And like I said, we're all made differently, we all

have different abilities. Right. So when we speak about fruit, right,

being fruitful, being able to bear fruit, there are there

are few things that we can take note. One of

it is, of course, making disciples. Yeah, that is one

way of bearing fruit. So now that I've experienced the goodness,

I have a relationship with God, I have someone who

is discipling me, and then now I disciple others. Okay,

So that's one fruit. The other fruit that the scripture

teaches us here is that each of us are gifted Okay,

we can look at the scriptures in Romans twelve versus

six to eight. Yeah, it talks about how we are

all given different roles, different abilities. Right, Some are able

to prophesy, some are able to serve, others to teach,

to encourage. You know, encouragement is a gift to spell.

So if you're good with your words, if you can

just send an encouragement to someone, you are cultivating the

gift that God has given to you. Generous giving, diligence, leadership, cheerful, mercy,

and many others that we can read from the scripture. Yeah,

and which of this do you think the gifts that

you may have? Okay, And if you have not found out,

then I think it's good to start thinking about it.

Sometimes these are things that people may tell a you're

good in this, you're good in teaching, or you're good

in encouraging, right, Or sometimes you could just ask God, God,

I want to serve you, what are my gifts? What

are my abilities? And it's not about figuring out then

doing it, but it's just getting started somewhere and then

down the road you'll realize that, Okay, this is a

gift that I see myself having okay, and I can

do it more for God. Right, So that is one

type of fruit that we can bear. The other fruit

that the Bible teaches us is from Galicians five twenty two, right,

twenty two to twenty three, you know where we have

this list of fruits of the spirit, love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,

and self control. Right. So if you don't have a

goal set in your mind, then maybe this can be

your goal.

Right.

How can I cultivate love in my lives? Okay? Not

just love for people like or maybe people that God

has brought to my life. That is that I've not

learned how to love yet, right, And you know, how

can I ultivate joy? You know, joy itself is a

lesson by itself. We won't go through a sermon because

joy comes from God. It's not something that the world

can give us. That is why the scripture teaches us

that the joy of the Lord is our strength, right,

it is our strength. You know peace, If you want peace,

you're looking for peace. It's a gift. But it's a

matter of whether we switch the that switch of peace

in our lives. Right forbearns, goodness, faithfulness, self control. Yeah,

so again a hard check. You know, how far if

I come with the gifts that God has given? Because

when when the scriptures mentions it, meaning it is made

available for us. But it's the matter of whether I

want to have access to it, right, Remember, God gives

us a free will. If I want it, I'm going

to leave it out. Men, So think about it, right,

how can I bear some of these fruits of you

know that God has made available to us? And then

as we read the scriptures okay, of course, the last

portion okay of this passage, we can see that it

says in verse eight, by this, my Father is glorified

that you bear much fruit, so you will be my disciples. Yeah,

you will be my disciples. So it just means that

as we are having this relationship with God, as we're

abiding in him, are we actually making disciples? Right? Are

we making disciples? First? Corentents fifteen two imitate me, just

as also I imitate Christ. So you're not coming up

with your own structure, your own strategy, but you're just

following the strategy or what Jesus has taught you. And

then you bring it on to artists. Yeah, So it's

that is discipleship. At the end of the day, it

is about being able to do it for others as well. Right.

And when I reflect on, you know, my journey of

being in discipleship, you know, of course, it goes a

long way from being a student, right. And I remember

that my very first leader who approached me when I

was very new in church, she told to me, a

why you know, do you know what discipleship is all about?

Of course, being very young at that time, I said, yes,

I have read it in the scriptures, but not quite

understand the concept, right. And so then she said, well,

discipleship is just basically us following Jesus, right, modeling out

everything that he has taught us in the scripture. Would

you be interested to be in such a relationship?

Right?

And then she said, let's take baby steps to get

to know each other. Okay, That's how it started, and

then till today.

Right.

And of course I had different leaders, you know, because

they were overseas and things like that. But every leader

that I realized that I had that relationship with was

just interested to do life. I think it just goes

back to them, you know. It's not so much about

how much or how many meals can we have, you know,

or how many how much of time can we spend.

It's not about that, but whether you are just intentional, like, hey,

I really want to get to know you. I really

want to do life with you because we can grow

together in God. Okay, And discipleship is meant to be together.

It's not just someone always telling you and instructing you.

But you have all the assays to pray for the

person as well to do the journey with them. Yeah.

And you know, when someone approaches you for discipleship or

when you even have the heart or desire to be

in that relationship, it's not so much about just a

personal decision, but I believe it's an intention that God

has to bring us through our life as well. Yeah,

and I'm glad that I made those decisions to do

life the journey with different ones because then few years

down the road, when you think about it, you'll say, Okay,

now I know why this happened, because I needed this

person to be there to journey with me. Right. And

sometimes at the start we think that, oh it's gonna

be tough, I'm going to be always needing to be

with this person, to check with them well, we're all adults.

First of all, we're not trying to babysit anyone. That's

not discipleship. Yeah, but it's about doing it together. Yeah,

doing it together. And so you know, a few years

down the road, of course, being in ministry and all that,

I remember I was in I was part of another leader, right,

and she had to go to Melbourne, and so then

passes Sendra approached me, right, approached me, and so the

conversation that we had was very clear in my mind. Again,

she told me that, you know, I prayed about this,

so you know, discipleship is about praying. It's not just

you picking anyone. Yeah, I prayed about this, and I

felt that it would be good for us to have

this discipleship relationship going on so we can go deeper. Yeah,

going deeper. And when she said that, actually a few

weeks ago, I was thinking of that, got just impressed

it in my heart. But I just didn't know when

or how you know that there will be this continuity past.

And I've learned so much over the years with her, right,

She's been very real. Most of us may know Passandra

as someone who preaches, especially in cheras. You know, we

may not have you know, know her as a person, right,

but beyond that, I feel I've known her as just

a human. You know how she makes mistakes, how she

has grown out of it, how she depends on God.

You know how she comes out of the challenging times.

And those are the things that have spoken to me,

because discipleship is not about just sharing the good times,

but He's also sharing those moments that are tough, right,

And then when you go through those times, you'll think about, Ay,

I'm not the only one. Someone went through that as well,

and now I can't do it, I think. Yeah. So,

if you're in a discipleship ministry, I mean a relationship,

it is about being real. It's about being honest. Yeah.

If you want to just get into it for the

sake of it's all, it's a high thing. Now, please don't. Yeah,

because it's about being intentional. And that is how intentional

Jesus was when he chose his disciples. He didn't choose

great people that were out there. He chose the usual

fishermen who were just doing what they were doing every

other day, and he approached them. He went to them.

It's not them who came to them, but to Jesus right.

Jesus went to them and saw something in them, Yeah,

saw something in them that speaks so much about Jesus.

And every time I read that scripture, I'm just reminded

of how great our God is. Where he can leave

aside everything as a son of God and come down

in humbleness and do life with people. And he journeyed

through with them. Yeah, he journeyed true with them, and

they could say yes because they know they knew who

Jesus was, they knew his intention, his heart right. And

I think it's a good reflection for all of us,

even our leaders here. Yeah, when you're reaching out to someone,

are we being genuine about it? Are we truly want

to wanting to do life with that person? Mean it?

Because Jesus definitely wants to do life with us. That

is why he starts off the scripture here by saying, first,

abiding me, Because if you're going to lead others from

an empty vessel, it's not going to work just because

I can talk, just because I can lead, I'm going

to disciple someone. That's not how it works. But Jesus says,

you've got to start with me first, and if you

can experience his love, you can experience how great it is.

It will be too good for you to keep it

to yourself. Right, It's just simple as that, because you

know this is what God has given to me. It

is because of Him I have hope. It is because

of Him I am who I am today, and that

therefore I want others to experience that. Right. And so

let's start with the true wine first. Right, let's start

with the true wine. And wherever that God is brought

into your life, as pask the Lord, how can I

sow into that person? Yeah? How can I sow into

that person? Because that is how, as the Bible says,

the church grew the Book of X. It's not so

much about how great the church looks like or how

many musicians we have, but it is about how many

disciples we can grow. Yeah, because I always believe that

nothing is permanent. Right, nothing is permanent. Some of you

could be called to be somewhere else, to plant something else.

But what we can do now is to disciple whoever

that comes to our lives and so that they can

bring that same thing somewhere else, to that nation, to

that place, to that community, and build more disciples. That

is how multiplication happened in the time of X. How

do you think the church grew right because they came together,

they pray, they shed meals, And to me, that is

discipleship right. You just have genuine conversation, you talk about life,

you cry together, you love together, and that's how you

build each other as well. But the question just goes

back to whether do I want to come out of

my own life and do it for others? Yeah, because

it takes love. It takes love, it takes compassion, it

takes out, it takes us out of the my needs

and to saying yes, I want to love someone else

as well, because God loves me so much that he

sent his one and on listen. Yeah, come on, church God,

it's just too good to keep to ourselves. Yeah, we

don't have much time. Let's just do all that we

can to bring the gospel, to be His witness in

any capacity that you can, and to just bring him

the glory. Yeah. I'm very passionate about this because I've

seen how God has been working in me through this

as well. Yeah, and I want that for you to

experience the more of what God has and to just

not stay put and keep comparing what's not right, what's

wrong never ends. Yeah, let's focus what's important, what's priority,

and let's just do that. Yeah, let's just do that. Amen. Right,

hope you're doing some good and catching something out of this. Yeah.

The word of God is meant to be practical. And

so when you go back this week, think about it.

You know, how can I disciple others? How can I

abide in God? To remain in him? And you say

remaining and you say abiding? What does it look like

for you? Where can you start?

Right?

Is it your prayer time? Is it just spending a

little bit more conversation with him? Is it about just

obeying him? It could mean very different for all of

us because we are at different pace of our journey. Right,

but ask yourself, how can I remain in Him a

little bit more this week? How can I be His

disciples and to bring that good news to artists as well? Amen?
