  1. You're listening to a message to go from ex church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. So my question for all of us here is that

  4. in Malaysia, in West Malaysia, in particularly in Cheras, are

  5. we all ready for him? So you're gonna look at

  6. Matthew twenty five. Was one to was thirteen, Okay, I'm

  7. gonna read it. You can read it together with me.

  8. Right, So he says yeah.

  9. In Matthew twenty five, it's a parable of ten bridesmaids

  10. Verse one. Then the kingdom of heaven will be like

  11. ten bridesmaids who took their lambs and went to meet

  12. the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, five of them

  13. were wise. The five were foolish did not take enough

  14. olive oil for their lambs, but the other five were

  15. wise enough to take a long extra oil. When the

  16. bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

  17. At midnight, they were roused by the shout, look, the

  18. bride groom is coming, come out and meet him. All

  19. the bridesmaids got up and prepared their lambs. Then the

  20. five foolish one asked the others please give us some

  21. of your oil because our lambs are going out. But

  22. the others replied, we don't have enough for all of us.

  23. Go to a shop and buy some for yourself. But

  24. while they were going to buy oil, the bridegroom came.

  25. Then those who were ready went in with him to

  26. the marriage feast, and the door was locked. Later, when

  27. the other five bridesmaids returned, they stood outside calling Lord.

  28. Lord opened the door for us.

  29. But he called back, believe me, I don't know you,

  30. so you too must keep watch, for you do not

  31. know the day or hour of my return.

  32. Amen.

  33. So this is a parable that Jesus was telling them,

  34. telling everyone of these disciples when he's explaining how would

  35. it look like when he returns again? What would the

  36. return of Jesus look like? That was what he was

  37. trying to see at that time. So this is why

  38. he's saying this wedding situation, and we're wondering, why is

  39. this wedding story looks a bit interesting because it's a

  40. very Jewish cultural thing. Again, Jewish culture, right, weddings are

  41. very different. So they have they have three parts in

  42. their wedding, you know. So number one of the first

  43. part is that the engagement, I know, all of us here,

  44. but getting in on all of us here, I mean,

  45. maybe also get engaged, and then we wait for the

  46. you know, our wedding ceremony to take place. You know,

  47. so they also say they get engaged, and then they

  48. have the wedding ceremony. But after the wedding ceremony, there's

  49. a very big gap to where the bride goes to

  50. live with the bridegroom. There's a gap actually, not like

  51. over our culture today where you know, it starts from

  52. the wedding onwards first night already, you know, then they

  53. are starting to live together ready, But in the Jewish culture,

  54. it's not like that. The wedding ceremony happens first. And

  55. what the bright groom will do is that he will

  56. go back to his father's house and he will build

  57. a separate room.

  58. For him and his wife.

  59. So they will take time because you know, for a

  60. million nowadays, we don't do that loud.

  61. You go and look for another place to stay. But

  62. they will do it back.

  63. Then where they will build a separate room for him

  64. and his wife will be building that room. So until

  65. they finished building this room, bride the bride doesn't know

  66. when it is going to be done and when is

  67. he going to come back and pick her up. So

  68. the bridegroom will say, you've married me. Please wait, I'll

  69. get the job done and come back and pick you up.

  70. That's what you'll say, okay. So then he'll be waiting.

  71. She will be waiting. So she needs to be waiting

  72. with a bridesmiths and they'll be waiting for the return

  73. of the bridegroom. It won't take very long, and not

  74. like two years, ten years something like that, maybe months,

  75. you know, or weeks or something like that. So so

  76. she'll be waiting for the bridegroom to return. So the bridegroom,

  77. once he has finished building the house, the room in

  78. his father's house, he will now then bring an entire.

  79. Parade, you know.

  80. They will create trumpets and stuff that they'll be fit

  81. like coming as an entire parade to come and pick

  82. up the bride.

  83. You know.

  84. So that's why it says that the groom will return.

  85. And usually they will return at midnight. I don't know why.

  86. I never look so deep into it, but they will.

  87. Look they will come and return picking up the bride

  88. in midnight. So there will be a shout of a know,

  89. there'll be a shout the bridegroom is year and then

  90. there will be trumpets blasting, you know, and stuff like

  91. that to alert the bridal party. So all the brides

  92. maid and the bride are ready and they will go

  93. out out.

  94. They will go out.

  95. Is that they will be to be waiting, to be

  96. ready with lamps and oil. So they will be waiting

  97. with a lamp because it's midnight, and with oil. So

  98. they then will follow the groom to the with the

  99. groom to the groom's home and then there will be

  100. a seven day wedding feast. Imagine seven days of fist

  101. today this day, even doing one day of feast is

  102. so tiring already, and this is seven days of wedding feast.

  103. You know that they will be preparing and they will

  104. be planning. So this is the.

  105. Jewish culture that the bride doesn't know when the groom

  106. will come, so she must be ready with lamps and

  107. oil all the time. So that is why Jesus uses

  108. this story because he knows that he is the groom.

  109. He is the groom, and the church is the bride,

  110. and it must He's saying that the church has to

  111. be ready more like believers, we are the bride have

  112. to be ready. But in this story, there were two

  113. groups of people. There were the five wise virgins, five

  114. wise virgins who brought extra oil, and there were five

  115. foolish virgins who did not bring extra oil. If you

  116. ever used the oil lamp, anyone, yeah, I have used

  117. an oil lamp. Okay, only my one brother, Yeah, I

  118. used an oil lamp. We have not right, I'm sure

  119. tyra have not seen oil lamb Oh hey you seen it? Okay, okay,

  120. So you know an oil lamp where the you light

  121. up and the wick they call it the w and

  122. you will see the oil burning out, the oil burw

  123. it out. So the most wisest thing for us to do,

  124. if you want to keep the oil the lamp burning,

  125. is to bring extra oil with you. You carry a

  126. can of extra oil so that you can keep adding

  127. on oil so that the lamp, the fire in the

  128. lamp will be keep on burning. But there was this

  129. five not so very smart people who did not bring

  130. the extra oil. Maybe they felt like so heavy to

  131. bring a can of oil. Maybe, or maybe they thought

  132. that it's okay Jesus, I mean sorry, the bride, the

  133. groom will written anytime soon, So why the hastle bringing

  134. extra oil? Or maybe they thought that it's fine, I

  135. can just borrow some oil from some people. I mean,

  136. the other five got extra oil. We just borrow some

  137. from them. So they took it for granted and they

  138. did not bring. So what Jesus is trying to say,

  139. all these ten virgins actually represents professing believers like us,

  140. and especially those who are serving, those who are faithful,

  141. those who are committed. Because we are carrying a lamp.

  142. We're carrying the lamp, you know, and we're keeping our

  143. fire burning. We're supposed to keep our fire burning. And

  144. these virgins were awaiting and we imagine whether we are

  145. waiting for the arrival of Jesus, but we don't know

  146. when is he coming, and they did not know when

  147. is it coming.

  148. So what happened?

  149. They got tired waiting, and you can see they were

  150. tired because they were waitings so long and it was

  151. already midnight. Then only the bridegroom came and they were

  152. so tired, and only five after they were tired, and

  153. then they were looking the five realized that they had

  154. no oil on the other five realized that they fire

  155. keep burning, and you read this story, the group only

  156. allows five wise virgins to enter the wedding. Why why

  157. could only the five enter and the other five couldn't enter?

  158. Why anyone want to try answering? Why? No clue anyone?

  159. Because they were it's already late, so they were prepared.

  160. Anyone else want to try? Why you think only five

  161. could enter? The five?

  162. Wis the doors were already closed?

  163. Yeah? But why the doors were closed to the.

  164. They are prepared?

  165. Okay, so everybody says they were prepared, you know, and

  166. also they were too late already the five foolish ones

  167. or maybeas it because they are the five the only

  168. why so they could enter? Then the five out of

  169. five because they were foolish? They No, no, it's not because

  170. of that. Yes, they were not prepared, but what is

  171. the reason why they were not prepared is because they

  172. add no oil. The only reason they couldn't keep the

  173. fire burning is because they had no oil, and they

  174. had no oil to keep the fire burning. And because

  175. they had no oil, and because they couldn't keep the

  176. fire burning, that's why they couldn't enter inside.

  177. Why oil?

  178. Because the Bible frequently refers to it as the Holy Spirit,

  179. the oil equivalents to the Holy Spirit. That is what

  180. Jesus was saying, that that they had no oil, meaning

  181. that they had no Holy Spirit. Oh, they ran out

  182. of the spirit. They dried out ready no more the

  183. fire foolish version. They may be had for a while,

  184. but they ran out of it, or they forgot about it.

  185. They did not put extra oil into it. They could

  186. not put extra attention to it, you know, so they

  187. did not have it. So most of the times us

  188. as believer, we also slumber without realizing that we are

  189. no longer in communion with the Holy Spirit, that we also.

  190. Are running dry.

  191. And most of the time as believers, we don't realize

  192. that we are actually running dry. Just like the five

  193. foolish virgins who had oil and they thought like, oh,

  194. it's all right, I can just keep it burning. We

  195. also sometimes say that it's okay as a believer, I

  196. can just keep it burning burning on my own, until

  197. we never realize that actually we ran dry, or sometimes

  198. we don't realize that we procrastinate, just like them. They

  199. were like, Ah, it's okay, I think we can just

  200. borrow it from someone. I think we can just you know,

  201. get it later I can go to the shop and

  202. get it later, you know, And we procrastinate from not

  203. allowing ourselves to experience the Holy Spirit.

  204. We say that, oh, it's okay.

  205. Maybe not today, maybe next week, maybe next month, maybe

  206. when after I already have a good career, or maybe

  207. after I've retired, then.

  208. I will serve the lot.

  209. Maybe when I have everything I need, then I will

  210. give my life to the Holy Spirit and live according

  211. to the challenge that the Holy Spirit puts.

  212. Sometimes we're not already.

  213. We're doing it everything that we like and we want

  214. to and we say that it's okay not to be

  215. ready yet. Sometimes we don't realize that we have a

  216. lamp but no.

  217. Oil in it.

  218. Meaning you're serving, you're doing everything, You're fulfilling all the

  219. obligations that you need to do in serving in church.

  220. You know, you read your Bible, you come to Sunday,

  221. but no oil inside. It's carrying an empty lamp, not

  222. realizing that the fire is just going to burn out soon.

  223. Maybe there's no fire at all. And another thing, what

  224. the foolish versions do? They go to those with oil

  225. and the ass give us some of your oil, Give

  226. us some of your oil, and the wise one says

  227. that we don't have enough for all of us. Go

  228. get yourself your own oil, because let me tell you,

  229. there's no second nd oil. There's no second d anointing

  230. of the Holy Spirit. A lot of us are relying

  231. on a second nd oil. You're relying on my oil.

  232. You're relying on probably past the glorious oil, as she teaches,

  233. as she preaches, as she ministers, where we are not

  234. having our own oil. We are not asking the Lord

  235. to anoint us. You're not asking the lot to fill

  236. us with this holy spirit. We are not seeking Holy

  237. Spirit on our own. But we are relying on second

  238. nd oil. You're so used to relying towards the pulpit

  239. and do not rely to the Lord directly and seek

  240. the lot directly, seek the power the Holy Spirit directly.

  241. There's no second nd oil.

  242. So are we borrowing someone's the anointing of someone else,

  243. because in the last days you will not have that

  244. opportunity to borrow someone's oil, or let me just last minute.

  245. It cannot be like, oh it's okay, let me just

  246. take for my brother. My brother is a little bit

  247. more oil. Oh but Lord, my husband is a believer.

  248. I can can I just stag along? No, But Lord,

  249. my wife, she goes to church every week, she serves.

  250. Can I just tag along?

  251. No, there's an individual oil, there's an individual individual anointing.

  252. But the Lord has placed over every single person, and

  253. it is upon you and you alone to.

  254. Seek for it. Because you can read Enjoe to was

  255. Cha two twenty eight, twenty nine.

  256. And it shall come to pass afterwards that I'll pour

  257. out my flesh and my spirit on all flesh. Your

  258. sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your ol men shall

  259. dream dreams, and young men shall see vision. And also

  260. my men servant, and on my maid servants. I will

  261. pour out my spirit in those days. You can read

  262. these words, and he says that all flesh, sons, daughters,

  263. young men, all men, the men's servant, maid servant. The

  264. Holy Spirit is for all. So the annoying thing that

  265. comes from the Holy Spirit is for all of us.

  266. And there's nothing that could stop us from receiving the

  267. annoying thing and the power of the Holy Spirit unless

  268. we have not repented, unless we have not given our

  269. lives to Jesus. You know the last words of the

  270. Bright Room. If you read it it says that believe me,

  271. I don't know you.

  272. I do not know you.

  273. That was the last words of the bridegroom. The bridegroom

  274. did not say you didn't work hard enough. The bridegroom

  275. did not say you didn't serve hard enough. The bridegroom

  276. say you didn't give enough. The bridegroom didn't say you

  277. didn't I don't know almost say a lot of things

  278. about me enough. You didn't say that, this, enough, that enough.

  279. It just says I don't know you. So the entry,

  280. the ticket to enter inside his fees is whether you

  281. know whether you have the Holy Spirit inside of you

  282. or not, Because how does he identify you? How does

  283. he identify the five virgins can enter and the other

  284. five can enter?

  285. Is because they had oil.

  286. And their lamp was burning, and that was the only

  287. criteria for them to enter inside.

  288. There was not no other thing.

  289. There was no effort needed, there was no work needed,

  290. there was no serving needed, there was not enough giving needed.

  291. But it is the Holy Spirit.

  292. So what allows us to be there with the Lord,

  293. what allows us to be there in the Kingdom of

  294. the Lord, is that whether we have the spirit inside

  295. of us or not. Romans aid was nine saisties. But

  296. you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit.

  297. If indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now,

  298. if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he

  299. is not his. So that was the criteria, whether you

  300. have the Spirit of Christ in you or not in you.

  301. If you have it, then you are His. And if

  302. you do not have it, then you're not his. So

  303. the oil, that is what the oil refers to. Whether

  304. you have oil, you are his, don't have oil.

  305. Not.

  306. But most of the time what happens is that we serve.

  307. We we we come to church. We do many things

  308. without the oil without thinking that that we we think

  309. that we can just get in or go through without

  310. having the oil, without having the Holy Spirit. We can

  311. just do our own thing to get there. You can

  312. have outward commitment but lack inward devotion. You can be

  313. all committed outside, you can be every Sunday, but yet

  314. you have not fully encountered the Holy Spirit. But yet

  315. fully you have not given your life for Jesus and

  316. live your life for him.

  317. You can come for services, but have no surrender. Every service.

  318. You're there, but you have not fully surrendered yourself to

  319. the Holy Spirit. You're not living alive that is surrendered

  320. to Jesus. You're still in control. You still want to

  321. be in control. You still want to do it your

  322. own way. You still want to do it your own,

  323. your own things. You still want to go like, I

  324. don't know, some Ca pop band. You know you're still

  325. are big fans of that. But and you can give

  326. everything you want for that, But you've not chosen to

  327. surrender your life to Jesus because it's just an outward thing.

  328. Outward I don't know presentation, you know. That's why Matthew

  329. fifteen verse eight says, yeah, he's not there but in

  330. the slight. But I'm just saying it out. Matthew fifteen

  331. eight says, Yeah, these people honor me with their lips,

  332. but their hearts are far from me. Their worship is fast,

  333. for they teach man made ideas as commands from God. Yeah,

  334. you can honor, you can sing and all, but but

  335. if your heart is not there, if you're not fully surrendered,

  336. then you're just obligations. You can sing about Him but

  337. not seek him. You can come to church and Sunday

  338. you can sing every worship song that is out there.

  339. I'll make room I'll make. But the question is are

  340. you really making room? Are you really seeking him on

  341. a daily basis or is it just reserved for Sunday

  342. six days a week. I'm a different person, but on

  343. Sunday I'm another person. I see, I'm only singing so

  344. you can sing, but not seeking.

  345. So what we gotta do now?

  346. We have to come to a place to decide whether

  347. you need and you want a good time or a

  348. god time. I tell you, in this world today everybody

  349. is after good times. Everybody likes and loves to enjoy.

  350. Are you having a good time? Yes, I am having

  351. a good time. You know.

  352. Sometimes you won't come into a worship service expecting that

  353. we will have a good time, and if we don't

  354. like it, if we don't like it, we'll be like, oh,

  355. it was not really a good time here.

  356. Let me go to another place.

  357. Let me go to another church that probably has a

  358. little bit more good times.

  359. You know. And we are.

  360. Always after good time. We want everything to be good

  361. and nice and fun and fancy and great, but we

  362. never really want a god time. The question is whither

  363. are we encountering the Lord every Sunday when we come

  364. in are we experiencing God on another level. Are we

  365. truly humbly coming to a place to seek Him on

  366. another level? Or are we just after nice good songs,

  367. nice good experience, a nice good expression at the back there?

  368. Oh? Are we after God?

  369. I just need you in a place of desperation for

  370. the Lord. If we have to decide, we are the

  371. ones that can desire what we want in this situation.

  372. If you're after good time, we don't be able to

  373. have a time where you really encounter God. Sometimes we

  374. want good times from five or every day in our lives.

  375. Every decision that we make towards our lives is so

  376. that we can have a good time, a good season,

  377. a good life. But not not all good it's from

  378. the Lord. We have to come to an agreement to

  379. believe and accept that not all good time is from

  380. the Lord. You know, we can have a good life

  381. but yet no evidence of God in it. But we

  382. can have a godly life, life that is full we experience,

  383. experience and encounter with the lot.

  384. But a life that is not so good in the

  385. world's eyes. You know.

  386. It's like those who get persecuted for their faith. And

  387. there are many in those different countries When they decide

  388. to follow Jesus, it's isolation from their community. Family, community

  389. rejects them, kicks them out of the house. Sometimes they

  390. are tortured, they are sent to brainwashing camps, you know,

  391. and they get beaten, bruised up. That's not a good

  392. life at all, nothing good about that. But every day

  393. they say, I have Jesus with me. I can see Jesus.

  394. Every time I get beaten. There's the Man looking at me,

  395. and I'm happy.

  396. I am so.

  397. Happy and privileged that the Lord has chosen me to

  398. be tortured for his names. These are words of those

  399. who are being persecuted, not one hundred years ago, right

  400. now in this current generation, that they are not having

  401. a good time.

  402. Well, they are having God time. They are having God

  403. every day.

  404. I'm not saying that we all need to be tortured

  405. and persecuted. I'm not saying that. But what I'm trying

  406. to say is that we have to come to a

  407. place to know whether do we just want to go

  408. after good times in our life or do we want

  409. to have to go after God in our lives. Because

  410. you know, there's a church there's such same as this

  411. in Revelation it's the church in Laodicia. You know, Revelations Tree,

  412. verse seventeen says that because you say I am rich,

  413. I've become wealthy, and I have need of nothing, but

  414. you do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor,

  415. blind and naked. So this is a church in Loudca.

  416. Right was planted by one of the disciples of Paul.

  417. Was doing so well. They were really doing so well.

  418. This is a church that you know, if you read

  419. the relations Tree, that Jesus will say that I will

  420. you're not call, neither your call, neither you're hot. I'm

  421. gonna you look warm, and I'm gonna spit you out

  422. of my mouth. They were doing so well as a church,

  423. they were growing, but later on they were fixed with

  424. something else. Ready because everyone in the church economically in Loudica,

  425. everyone was doing very well at that time.

  426. Already they were earning well. They were very comfortable.

  427. So they said they come to a place to say

  428. that I have everything and I have no need of

  429. I have need of nothing, I don't need anything else.

  430. They became comfortable and they were seeking other things. They

  431. were thinking, how can I make things more pleasurable, more

  432. fun and more good? But Jesus reminds this church that

  433. you do not know, that you are actually wretched and miserable,

  434. poor and naked and blind, that you do not know

  435. you're going to this direction.

  436. So we have to be.

  437. Clear, because what can happen is that there's three things

  438. that without the Spirit, you will go after just praise,

  439. position and possession. And if you don't have the Holy

  440. Spirit in you, if you are not under the Holy Spirit,

  441. you're not living in community with the Holy Spirit, you'll

  442. go after praise. You want people to praise you, well done, Truman,

  443. So you could answer, aren't you you know, I'm just joking, Yeah,

  444. you know. Or you will say things like that, and

  445. you will want people to praise you. You will do

  446. things in order people for people to praise you or

  447. well done. Wait, you have to go after validation. You

  448. after position. You want the highest position in your job,

  449. in your in the church, in your marketplace, wherever you are.

  450. You will want to be in a high position.

  451. And you will say that I need to climb up,

  452. and I need to keep climbing, and you'll after possession.

  453. You want more and more and more. A little bit

  454. is not enough, Maybe it might be, won't be enough.

  455. Maybe for two days enough, and tomorrow I want to

  456. say vic you know, maybe after that I need a BMW.

  457. And it keeps way bigger, and you want more and more.

  458. Without the spirit, you will go after this. And this

  459. is what the church Lordysia were doing. They were after praise, possession,

  460. and position. And that's what Jesus tells them that in

  461. Revelation Street twenty before, I stand at the door and knock.

  462. If anyone years my woice and opens the door, I

  463. will come into him and dine with him, and he

  464. with me. You will be in this communion with Jesus,

  465. but only when you're able to.

  466. Him and allow him.

  467. Inside of you. Only then you can do that. So

  468. we have to ask ourselves. Is Jesus outside our house knocking?

  469. But he couldn't enter inside because there are too many

  470. things already filled up in his place. It's a spirit

  471. knocking your heart, one thing to enter inside, but there

  472. are so many things have already taken his place inside

  473. your heart. You got no room for Jesus. You are

  474. no room for the Holy Spirit. You can ask yourself

  475. because same thing that John fourteen twenty three says, if

  476. anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my

  477. father will love him. We will come to him and

  478. make our home with him. If you love him, if

  479. you follow his words, if you love him, he'll make

  480. his home within you. Yeah, are we making home? Are

  481. making room for for the.

  482. Holy Spirit inside?

  483. Ezekiel thirty six ver Was twenty six or seven says

  484. that I'll give you a new heart and put a

  485. new spirit within you. I will take a heart of

  486. take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and

  487. give you a heart of flesh. I'll put my spirit

  488. within you, cause you to walk in my statutes, and

  489. you will keep my judgment and do them.

  490. You know. Yeah, he says, yeah, that.

  491. I will put my spirit within you and cause you

  492. to walk in my statutes, and you will keep my

  493. judgment and do them. So without the spirit, there's nothing

  494. that will cause you to actually walk.

  495. In his way. You need the spirit to obey him.

  496. Without the spirit, you're just trying to It's all just

  497. your effort. You're imitating it. But there's nothing out of

  498. really true obedience. And I imagine if you you go

  499. to a Dorian shop, okay, in your order, you ask

  500. for mosaki. Yeah, and you ask for mosaki and then

  501. they bring out outside looks like mousaki, and then you

  502. open it and you taste it tastes nowhere like mosanki

  503. exactly exactly what is going on. Fruit of the Spirit.

  504. It already says it's the fruit of the Spirit. But

  505. a lot of times what we do is that we

  506. are imitating it. We tell ourselves, we tell the people, oh,

  507. you have to be patient, kind gentle, self control, you

  508. have to all have all that, But you're trying to

  509. do it on your own, and you're imitating your own

  510. way of how it looks like instead of it being from.

  511. The fruit of the Spirit.

  512. Is the fruit of Truman, The food of Trident is

  513. the fruit of child. It's the fruit of It is

  514. our fruit. We are imitating our own way of kindness

  515. and gentleness, instead of saying it is coming from the

  516. Holy Spirit. Really, if it comes from the Holy Spirit,

  517. that will be the fruit. Then you will walk in

  518. his judgment, then you will obey. So question today I

  519. want to ask you that would you let a spirit

  520. inside of you today? Would you let a spirit to

  521. take over you today? You might be wondering, do I

  522. have it already or not? A might with it or not?

  523. It's a spirit in you. There's a question you gotta

  524. ask yourself. Judges sixteen, verse twenty says, yeah, but he

  525. did not know that the Lord had departed from him.

  526. You know, this is Samson.

  527. Samson at the time was you know, lying in the

  528. lap of Delilah, and he was enjoying his life. Delilah

  529. cuts his hair, and then and the Philistine army comes

  530. to arrest, and then he says that, oh, I'm gonna

  531. now just beat them all up and continue walking my

  532. way in Then he didn't realize that the Holy Spirit

  533. that departed from him long time already. Sometimes we are

  534. also laying in the lap of the world. We don't

  535. realize that the Holy Spirit long time I've departed from

  536. us already, and we're just doing our own thing, thinking

  537. assuming that we still have the oil for Samuel sixteen

  538. says that when the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul,

  539. there was a distressing spirit the trouble in him. Are

  540. you distressed all the time? Are you in anxiety all

  541. the time? Are you in pressure? Are you in fear

  542. confusion all the time? Maybe you do not have the

  543. spirit of the Lord is inside of you yet, because

  544. where the Spirit of the Lord is.

  545. There is freedom where the Spirit of the Lord is.

  546. I Will says that the fullness of joy will come

  547. upon those who have.

  548. The Spirit of the Lord. You can read it in

  549. an extra spirit was his flesh.

  550. Whether are you're working in flesh or are you working

  551. in spirit? The first thing is when the spirit is

  552. inside of you, you'll be bold because the spirit of

  553. the Lord is not the spirit of timidity.

  554. Peter, before you had the Holy Spirit in.

  555. Him, Jesus was going to be tortured and crucified. You

  556. rejected jesus treat time. But after being filled by the

  557. Holy Spirit, he was able to stand before three thousand

  558. people and preach before three thousand people x four thirty

  559. one disciples peak the word with boldness. After being filled,

  560. they were bold to share the Gospel anywhere they go.

  561. Most of us say that, oh, I'm not yet ready.

  562. I'm afraid to share the Gospel to my friends or

  563. to my family because the boldness from the spirit is

  564. not there, if not the Holy Spirit.

  565. Next one his repentance was his ritual. Jo All Too says, yeah,

  566. you know, return to me with all.

  567. Your heart, rend your hearts and not your garments because

  568. in the Jewish context. Back then, when people wanted to

  569. show that they are repenting, what they will do is

  570. they will tear their clothes and show that Lord, look

  571. at me. I'm repenting right now to you. I'm humbling

  572. myself to you. They'll tear your clothes. They'll, you know,

  573. and say so. The Lord reminds them, ruin your heart.

  574. Tear your heart and not your garments. I don't want

  575. your garments. I don't need your clothes. I need your heart.

  576. So return to me with all your heart. Repentance is

  577. a place where you come. Repentance is the meaning of

  578. you turn yourself completely. It's not just about repenting from

  579. a particular sin. Most of it's mistaken it all the time,

  580. but it's about changing our old life. It is I

  581. maybe even you are living a good life, but it

  582. is saying that I don't want that life and I

  583. want to live fully for Jesus full change, completely change.

  584. Nothing to do with the old life. Even it was

  585. there were things that you like doing. Now no longer

  586. you like doing it. Even if it's like, oh it's

  587. not it's not a sin, but still you're changed, fully repentant,

  588. and you don't want that life. The other one is

  589. obedient versus disobedience again, is it? Kil thirty six says yeah.

  590. When I put my spirit within you, I'll cause you

  591. to walk in my statutes. He's struggling to obey the Lord,

  592. and every time you pray and ask the lod Lord,

  593. I don't want to do this anymore. I don't want

  594. to commit this sin anymore. I don't want to watch

  595. pornography anymore. You know, you pray, I don't want to

  596. commit that sin anymore. But yet you keep doing it

  597. again and again, you fall back to it again and

  598. again you fall into it again. It's because he's trying

  599. to obey it with your own strength. You're not fully obedient,

  600. not fully surrendered yet to the Holy Spirit.

  601. And let the Holy Spirit be the one to do

  602. the work in you.

  603. And I tell you you will no longer have that

  604. desire to do that sin again.

  605. Last one is supernatural versus natural two thirty sashes.

  606. I will show wonders in the heavens and the earth,

  607. and the Holy Spirit is here. You will flow in wisdom.

  608. You will flow and knowledge. There will be your faith,

  609. You will move by faith. There will be healing happening.

  610. Supernatural healing in the year, prophecies and prophecies happening in

  611. your life, and tongues also will take place.

  612. You know, these are in two hours.

  613. The Book of Acts, there was no like, you know,

  614. structure or sequences of how the Spirit comes upon you.

  615. You know, in.

  616. In certain cases they were baptized first and then they

  617. received the Holy Spirit. In certain cases they were they

  618. received the Holy Spirit first, then only they were baptized.

  619. They were. They are different ways because the Spirit.

  620. Moves not according to structure, not according to plan, not

  621. according to those things. But when there's a constant desire,

  622. the only requirement for the Holy Spirit is a constant desire.

  623. Every one of them.

  624. In the Book of Facts were able to encounter the

  625. Holy Spirit because they were in constant desire to experience

  626. the Lord.

  627. You want to see.

  628. Miracles, supernatural healing, just God doing great wonders of things

  629. in your life. It will not be possible if there's

  630. no Holy Spirit. You know, really early, if you want

  631. to experience a supernatural power, if you have been in

  632. some way, you've been stuck in your life for so

  633. long in that one particular situation, it could be a sickness,

  634. it could be a pain. It could be an unforgiveness,

  635. and you want to be delivered from it. Only by

  636. the power of the Holy Spirit, you can and you

  637. shall be delivered by it.

  638. So do you want to receive the spirit? Do you

  639. have the desire to receive the spirit? How then you receive?

  640. Say say in Acts chapter two West thirty eight, repent

  641. and let every one of you be baptized the name

  642. of Jesus Christ for the remissions of sins.

  643. You shall receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. When

  644. you repent.

  645. Turn away from your own life and say that Lord,

  646. I just want to live my life for you, after you,

  647. after your ways, after your will, you.

  648. Will receive it. And another thing.

  649. Is the leaders laid the apostles at the time, laid

  650. their hands on the people in pray. It over those

  651. who are desiring to receive the Holy Spirit, and they

  652. received the Holy Spirit. And those who heard the word

  653. of the Lord from Peter, the whole spirit fell upon those.

  654. Were hearing the wind. They're just many ways.

  655. But again I mentioned repentance is key. If you're not

  656. repenting from your old way, you will not.

  657. Be able to experience the Holy Spirit.

  658. If you're not coming to a place that where we

  659. want to desire to see God moving your life, you

  660. will not be able to experience the Holy Spirit. And

  661. I'm saying this out of love. I'm saying this out

  662. of the desire to say that every one of us

  663. can just really experience God on another level. I mean,

  664. we are in the generation where we're not praying enough,

  665. we're not seeking the Lord enough. We have all the technology, jeez,

  666. and we think that we can figure out which had

  667. jipity a lot of things, but yeah, we cannot.

  668. We are far away. You know.

  669. It says that Matthew fifteen says that their lips honor me,

  670. but their.

  671. Hearts are far from me.

  672. Oh, we don't want to get in that place. We

  673. want to be filled with the oil. You know, the

  674. foolish versions, right. The mistake they did is that they

  675. waited too long. They waited too long, and they missed

  676. the opportunity. We don't want to be in that place.

  677. You're gonna call the band up in front. I'm done

  678. here already, and really we don't want to miss an

  679. opportunity just because we think that.

  680. Or not yet, not the right time. I still have.

  681. A lot of things to figure out, or even you

  682. think that I'm not perfect. Yet I want to do

  683. everything right first before I give my life to Jesus,

  684. and when I fully lived my life for Jesus, committed

  685. for the Lord. And yet I'm not telling you to

  686. come in. A full time serves a lot of full time. No,

  687. I'm not saying that because there was no such things

  688. as full time in the Bible in that sense, because

  689. even Paul was a tent maker for a very long time,

  690. and it was sustaining his ministry even before he went

  691. to do it on his own full time. There's no

  692. words like that. But it is about your spirit being.

  693. It's about your being and where your heart is. Where

  694. you have come to a place to say that, Lord,

  695. I will follow you.

  696. I'll live my life for you. I will. I'll walk

  697. in here.

  698. You will set the path before me, and I will

  699. take only that path. The other part might seem more great, more,

  700. see more, fancy, must seem like you have all the

  701. goals and the desires that I have. But yet if

  702. it's not you, I will not go. And I will

  703. follow your way, even if it's the hardest way, even

  704. if it's the most challenging way.

  705. Because narrow is the path narrow, it's gonna be hard.

  706. You can't carry baggages with you entering a narrow path

  707. because it's gonna be so tight and narrow the bags

  708. that you're carrying with you cannot enter. Do you want

  709. to be burning or based snoozing? And you really want

  710. to let the Lord come inside? Because Jesus says in

  711. the Revelation Street twenty is mentioned already, you know that

  712. he is knocking, is knocking. We all eyes stand at

  713. the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and

  714. opens the door, I will come in to him and

  715. dine with him, and he with me. The Lord will

  716. set a table before you, even in the presence of

  717. your enemies, and you'll be able to be in communion

  718. with him.

  719. Can we let him come into our lives?

  720. Give our lives fully to Jesus, Give our lives to

  721. the Holy Spirit, and say, the Holy Spirit come take

  722. over the meat today a desire for.

  723. You use me. Can we come to that place?

  724. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
