You're listening to a message to go from ex Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
As I was praying this morning, as I prepare for
-
to speak here, God just drop this word into my mind,
-
which is the word renew. So, obviously, many of you,
-
I'm meeting you for the first time. I do not
-
know what you're going through. I don't know how you
-
spend your days and nights for the past one week,
-
or one month, or even this morning. But I want
-
to tell you that God knows. God really knows. Yeah,
-
so God says the word renew. So I prayed our
-
hearts will be open, our months will be open. And
-
can I give you a disclaimer first, I can get
-
quite loud sometimes, And can I give you another disclaimer
-
that I can be very honest and very direct sometimes.
-
So if I offend you in any way, I'm so sorry. Yeah,
-
but but but but here hear me out. But more importantly,
-
here the voice of God. Here, the voice of God.
-
I truly believe that God has a word for each
-
and every one of you here this morning.
-
Yeah, so God, God dropped the word renew to my mind.
-
And and you know, maybe show the next photo as well, this.
-
Some of you.
-
If you've heard my husband's book recently, then you might
-
have heard him mentioning that we our house actually went
-
to a one year renovation last year, one whole year.
-
I can tell you the details later, but basically it
-
wasn't expected, but it took one whole year and we
-
renovated almost every part of our house, not planned. I
-
will tell you in details later, but I want to
-
show you that this is a photo of my This
-
is actually my new entrance and it is uh, this
-
cupboard is actually a shoe, a shoe cabinet. Yeah. So
-
it doesn't look at tall here, but basically is from
-
here to higher than this link. Yeah yeah, because both
-
of us are quite tall. So and you can see
-
the steps there so we can even build it higher.
-
So this is my new shoe cabinet. Yeah, I don't
-
own well, I own quite a number of backs, but
-
I don't really use them very often because I'm quite
-
lazy to change backs. But shoes I could change every day,
-
right yeah so I yeah, So both me and my
-
husband's own quite some shoes because I like to change shoes,
-
and I'm very grateful of this new shoe cabinet. Yeah,
-
so I didn't come how many shoes I can fit inside.
-
But basically, when I was trying to fit in this
-
new shoe cabinet, I went through my all my shoes,
-
and I realized that, see this new place I moved
-
in actually almost one year now, and some shoes have
-
been sitting in this new shoe cabinet. I mean at
-
least for one whole year now, because I moved in
-
one year and as I was going through the shoes
-
that was in this cabinet, to my surprise, quite a
-
number of them actually spot yeah yeah, yeah, because they're
-
old and and some shoes were sitting inside there for
-
one whole year without me touching them due to some reasons,
-
for example, not comfortable.
-
Yeah.
-
I can't stand uncomfortable shoes. Seriously, That's why you see
-
me wearing flats most of the time, because I thought
-
life is too short to wear uncomfortable shoes. Yeah, and yeah,
-
I just I just can't. And I can't balance myself
-
very well with high heels, yeah, I just can't. So so,
-
but some shoes, well I can't even remember why I
-
bought them in the first place, but they were just
-
not comfortable. Okay, But they was occupying this space for
-
one whole year, and there's some shoes that were already
-
spot But I thought I wasn't ready to say goodbye yet.
-
I wasn't ready to say goodbye because somehow, maybe I
-
like the color, I like the shape of it, I something,
-
you know, girls, you understand, right, So I like it
-
sit there for one whole year. Some I forgot that
-
they were there, hands up, right, ya yah, don't confess
-
your sins. No, oh no, no, don't confess me now, okay,
-
but you know, yeah, I forgot that it was there
-
until I climb up the stairs, not come up this letter.
-
This climb up, and I saw some shoes up there. Okay, yeah,
-
so I clean up, basically, I did spring cleaning. I
-
saw all the shoes. I put them aside, and then
-
the Lord spoke to me, the last book, to me,
-
surely these unwanted for forty sports shoes were occupying your
-
new cabinet space for one whole year. And then I remember,
-
you know, in some cities, I mean in most cities,
-
space is very costly and very press is very precious.
-
Right.
-
I'm not sure whether you know. Recently I watched a
-
documentary of Hong Kong, and that many poor people in
-
Hong Kong. And because space is so precious so and
-
hence very very costly. So a lot of people they
-
in Hong Kong, if they are very poor, they actually
-
have to stay in this small little I wouldn't call
-
them apartments, small little well apartments high rise buildings. Yeah,
-
and in one unit, but we subdivided into like fifteen
-
sixteen baits and one bit equals one person space full stop.
-
So space is very costly.
-
And I remember we had from some some some partners
-
from from China, right and uh, I remember there's a
-
few few students I met from from Beijing. And then
-
they came and then we went to another partner's house
-
for a party. And then the partner's house is quite big,
-
and then she they said, whoa, this this house in
-
Malaysia costs? How much would it cost? And then uh
-
they would say, oh yeah, this amount. They're like, huh
-
this amount then is it? This amount in Beijing probably
-
equals to your living room only we were like, yeah,
-
so space is costly, you know.
-
And and and and in.
-
May, me and my husband we went to ex Osaka
-
and yeah, Japan, space is costly. The hotel rooms are
-
quite small, washing not quite small, it's just enough size.
-
Because space is costly, So Gossa Sally, you allow this
-
whole bunch of unused shoes in your new, new, brand
-
new shoe cabinet for one whole year.
-
I tell you, I stood there. I repented one whole year.
-
And then the Lord says space is so costlyally, and
-
then space is meant for a purpose. For example, my
-
shoe cabinet is meant to store shoes. They're not meant
-
to store useless shoes. They're not meant to store damage shoes.
-
They are meant for a purpose. Yet we allow our
-
pressure space to store useless things. Right there, God spoke
-
to me. How about your mind? Oh my gosh, seriously,
-
God speaks to me in my serious ways. So I
-
was clearing out, you know. Yeah, and I'm sure a
-
lot of us would have heard of of of of
-
of a particular a Japanese lady who who says, well,
-
does these thing spark joy?
-
If it doesn't spark joy?
-
Yeah, yeah, Maricondo, right, so yeah, so space is meant
-
for something, you know, but many of us are holding
-
onto things that do not spark joy.
-
Anymore.
-
No, many of us are holding onto things that are useless.
-
That should not be there.
-
For example, my shoes belong to the spoil ones belongs
-
to the garbage bin, or belongs to the recycling or
-
belong to someone who can make better use of it.
-
Yeah, and how how about our minds? You know, outpe,
-
our mind.
-
Of space is a very precious place. And God asked
-
me how many useless things are we allowing to occupy
-
precious space in our minds and our hearts? And hence
-
Romans Chapter twelve, verse one to two. My friends, and
-
as I as I, as I, as I reflected on
-
this scripture more just looking at time, how much time
-
do I have? Ten o'clock service means you end by twelve?
-
Okay? Cool?
-
So, as I reflected on this scripture, I remembered many
-
years when I did a study on the word renew
-
renew right, because verse two it says, but do not
-
and do not be conformed to this world, but be
-
transformed by the renewing of your mind. The world renew
-
in Hebrew, it actually means to renovate, renovate.
-
That's why you see how good is speaking.
-
I renovated my house, my friends, I renovated my house
-
to make it bigger, to make it nicer. I renovated
-
and I added in the new shoe cabinet to make
-
it more useful.
-
So the word renew is renovate.
-
So if you look at the scripture again, it actually says,
-
do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed
-
by the renovating of your mind. And you know, when
-
we renovate a space, normally we renovate to make it bigger.
-
Right.
-
Who renovates a place make it smaller? No one, no one.
-
All of us want to make.
-
It bigger, nicer, right, so that it can contain more.
-
Maybe this morning, we need to renovate our minds so
-
that our minds can contain more, exceedingly abundanly above beyond
-
what we can imagine or think of. We need to
-
renovate our minds to contain more. We renover a space
-
to make it more beautiful, not uglier.
-
Make it beauty.
-
I don't know, have you met anyone say okay, hi,
-
I want to make my interior designer, and I give
-
you a mission.
-
To make this place ugly? No one, no one.
-
We ran over a place, make it more beautiful, nicer, newer. Right,
-
we ran over a space to make it more useful,
-
to better fit it's original usage. So a renovor space,
-
our space has a purpose, has a goal. God says
-
that we are to renovate our minds because our minds
-
are meant for a purpose. Our minds are meant for
-
something beautiful, something normal, something good.
-
Remember rescripture. That is, yeah, renovate our minds.
-
So that we are transformed and changed, so that we
-
can prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect
-
will of God. Amen, this is God's good plan for us,
-
my friends, and we all need to renovate our minds.
-
We need to renew our minds.
-
Because I tell you what, as we go along in
-
the journey of life, as we go through different challenges.
-
You know, all of us, as I mentioned just now,
-
that we are from different countries, different backgrounds, different yeah,
-
just background, even if we are from same Malaysia. You know,
-
like me and my husband we were married twenty one
-
years ago.
-
We both are Malaysians.
-
Even though my husband will deny that, he will say
-
that I'm half Singaporean.
-
Well technically ah my I.
-
See says I one hundred percent of Malaysian but my
-
mother is from Singapore. Yeah so yeah, so my husband
-
always Joe, you are half singaporeanially, especially when you play sports,
-
your gaesto side kind of.
-
Comes out catto is competitiveness.
-
Yeah, yeah, so anyway, so sometimes, yeah, we can be
-
from the same country like me and Musban, we're from
-
same country, same ethnicity, and yet we are from different
-
backgrounds and all of us, each of us are shaped
-
by our background. Right, it's natural. It's natural. It's natural.
-
Doesn't mean that is supposed to be how it should stay.
-
Maybe not because God says we are to renovate, because
-
some of us we come from broken backgrounds. Like you know,
-
we know the importance of father figure in the family.
-
How a father figure is so important in the life.
-
Of a daughter.
-
Yeah, but what if what if she doesn't have? What
-
if she doesn't have? Does that mean is it?
-
And no?
-
That's why in Christ there's always a way out. In God,
-
there is always hope always. Yesterday, I was serving at
-
our community, our reach together with three homes at Carry Island,
-
and that is where we serve the Orange as Lei,
-
the local the original tribe of people in malays And.
-
We went in there.
-
It was a very small little village, not much of facilities,
-
but our team goes in every Saturday to teach English.
-
And yesterday I went with them to do a Christmas program.
-
My first time there because I've been to other communities
-
but not this one. So I went there yesterday and
-
I met these children, many children, maybe about fifteen of them,
-
and two or three are teenagers, fourteen fifteen year old girls.
-
And I found out that these girls fourteen fifteen, they
-
don't go to school because the family is such that, yeah,
-
they the sons, they would encourage them to go to school,
-
but the daughters not so. And the parents are busy
-
making life ends meet. You know, they're working, so they
-
normally daytime, these children they are left with other people
-
are the caretakers. But it's two at least I met
-
two girls fourteen fifteen. They don't go to school. That
-
means they are illiterate. Can you imagine in Malaysia in Malaysia,
-
illiterate fourteen fifteen And then we also know fourteen fifteen
-
or even sixteen is the normal age that girls from
-
these group people get married. That means that's why they're
-
not going to school, because they probably getting ready to
-
be married off at this age in Malaysia.
-
Can you imagine that?
-
But so I thought of myself, does that mean it's
-
dead end for them? Well, in our human eyes it
-
can seem like so. But in God, all things are possible.
-
That's why our team is going in to interact with
-
them to Yeah, I'm not sure how much English they
-
can can get, you know, because they don't even come
-
up consistently every week this particular community.
-
So I'm not sure how much education they can get.
-
But I pray that beyond the education, beyond the English,
-
beyond the language, that they could experience God in their
-
own way, that they will allow God to renovate their minds.
-
And that's the only way out, my friends, that's the
-
only hope for them. Yeah, I pray, so, I pray so.
-
So that's not It does not mean that, oh, we
-
come from a bad background and hands real like this,
-
or we come from this particular country and therefore it's.
-
Like that, you know, or maybe you know.
-
I recently spoke to some people from Hong Kong and uh,
-
they will have having like children not so they told me.
-
In Hong Kong's very common that that before the child
-
turns don't know how many years old.
-
They already know where they're.
-
Gonna stay, because they have to decide when which kindy
-
the child is gonna go to get into the right kindy.
-
After that, get into the right primary school, after that,
-
get into the right secondary school. After that, get into
-
the right university.
-
I tell you they start very young.
-
Yeah, the child is probably only two years old, but
-
they already think they already thing. They already know where
-
they they are, where which kindy, make the preparations and
-
get the right address. I understand, parents, I understand that
-
there's such things called wisdom. I know, make preparation. I
-
know for the sake and the future of your children.
-
I know, I know. But is that the only way?
-
Meaning if you fail to do that, you are a failure,
-
or if you fail to do that, your child will
-
be a failure. That is what I would like to
-
challenge our mind with. God says that we are to renew,
-
we are to renovate our minds, that we do not
-
need to confirm to this world. I truly believe that, yes,
-
we need to be responsible, we need to be wise
-
in whatever that we do to the best of our abilities,
-
But ultimately we still need to live room, leave the
-
space to God for God to move and speak, then
-
we can live the abundant life.
-
Amen. And that is God God's happy for us because.
-
He wants us to prove what is that good, perfect
-
and acceptable will of God. And that is God's happy
-
for you, my friends, for us, that he wants us
-
to experience all that He has for us.
-
Amen. But we need to renovate our minds. Amen.
-
Now I would like to change slides to the other
-
second slides that I gave yes.
-
You know, yes, the other the bluish.
-
Slides, Yes, thank you, you go to slight seven. Yeah,
-
So in this slide you can see this. Another scripture
-
that I would like to share with you is from Exodus.
-
Exodus chapter fourteen Excidus chapter fourteen is an account of
-
the people of Israelites. They they left Egypt right, Moses
-
led them out from Egypt. And then they were standing
-
before the Red Sea. So in front of them were
-
the Red Sea. Okay, if they're going they'll be drowned.
-
Behind of them were the Pharaoh's army after them, okay,
-
so this people of God. They were standing before the
-
rad Sea, okay, between the Rad Sea and Pharaoh's army.
-
They were stuck.
-
I can't go in front, I can't go backwards because
-
there were people chasing after us to kill us, to
-
capture us, to enslavers in front of.
-
Me with a rad sea. I can't go in now
-
because I'll be drowned. Okay. So people of God was
-
stuck at that point. They were stuck. They were stuck.
-
And then they even started to complain to Moses and say,
-
why did you bring us out here to die?
-
Or friends? They are they're not?
-
They?
-
Yeah?
-
Yeah, they saw the.
-
They saw the sea, they saw the people, they they
-
saw the Pharaoh's army. And then they complained to Moses, Moses,
-
it's all your thoughts.
-
Why did you? Why did you do you bring us
-
out here to die? Okay? And then they were stuck.
-
They were stuck. And then right there Moses.
-
Also heard God telling him something, and then he told
-
the people this accident. Chapter fourteen, verse thirteen, and Moses
-
said to the people, do not be afraid. Stand still
-
and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will
-
accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians, whom you see
-
today you shall see again no more forever. The Lord
-
will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.
-
Amen.
-
Here he says, do not be afraid. Stand still. I
-
want you to fix your eyes on the words stand still.
-
Stand still. You know, sometimes, as I was doing more
-
research on this whole, this particular message that I was
-
preparing that time, God brought my attention to a realization
-
that when we are but as human beings. Yeah, I
-
think it's the next life as human beings, when we
-
are faced with danger or when we're afraid, right, there
-
are usually four main responses for normally, for which is to.
-
Fight who fights? Or to fight? Flight me? You yeah,
-
run away okay? Or you freeze you just can't move.
-
I don't know.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You think about yourself, which one?
-
Which is your your your reaction?
-
Okay?
-
All phone okay, phone is like okay, you try to negotiate.
-
Let's say, if in danger, then you try to negotiate
-
with a person. Yeah, yeah, try to get on the
-
good side of the person, and then and then and
-
then you try to find a way out.
-
Okay.
-
So normally human beings, when we are afraid or we
-
are faced with danger, we have these four main responses
-
or reaction. Yeah, I know which one is me. I
-
will run for me. It's number two flights. Yeah, when
-
I see dog chasing me, I will run. Yeah, that's
-
my first reaction. Yeah yeah, yeah, fight, flight, freeze a phone.
-
Normally okay, normally, but you know in Exodus, just now,
-
what does you say?
-
The Bible teaches us to stand still, stand still and see.
-
It is not logic to me be guesse.
-
My reaction is flight, I'll run, well it mass stand still.
-
Do you know how much effort it would take me
-
to stand still? You know, because like I said, just now,
-
h I have been chased since my childhood, right, I've
-
been chased by dogs before. I've been chased by a
-
goose before. And I've been chased by a chicken before. Yeah,
-
a rooster by the way. So yesterday at a community,
-
we saw you huge turkey, A huge turkey, like like
-
this tall, a huge turkey.
-
My mind was like runually, run run.
-
I saw the turkey next to my car, and I
-
really felt like running. Okay, but I thought aboutself, No,
-
I can't run. I'm supposed to be here with the team.
-
So I walked slowly, trying to stay away from the turk,
-
and then surrounding the era, there are at least four
-
or five dogs.
-
Oh my gosh. I was okay.
-
Thankfully the dogs were not bucking, so I was still
-
under control.
-
So I went.
-
I went inside, and then and then I was trying
-
to stand in the middle of the space around me,
-
their brothers and sisters around me.
-
Yeah, and then the dogs were trying to come in.
-
And I tell you, it took me so much effort
-
not to focus on them and not to run. I
-
felt right running, you know, every inch of my skin.
-
I feel like I'm gonna run away. But no, stand still,
-
they say, stand still. It takes a lot. In my neighborhood,
-
I like to take a walk with my husband, but
-
the problem is there are many straight dogs.
-
I don't know why.
-
So people started walking out with sticks in their hands,
-
just in case, you know. But yeah, so so and
-
then people tell me that I remember a hole he
-
told me before. It's acually because there was once I
-
wanted to run, but I fell down.
-
I slipped. It was very slippery, and then I scratched
-
my hand.
-
It was quite bad. Yeah, it was because of a
-
dog that was bucking at me. And then out of
-
ping hole. He asked me, ho, he said, Sally, I
-
want to ask you, why did you see dog and
-
you feel like running? I say, isn't it normal? I said,
-
isn't it normal? You see a bucking dog you run?
-
Then he told me, no, he says, not normal, normal reaction,
-
and you stand and you stay down. The dogs show
-
the dog who is alpha?
-
He told me.
-
I'm like, you mean them, I asked my husband. My
-
husband said, yeah, that's why you always ask me why
-
do you run?
-
Yeah, because.
-
When you see a dog and you run, it's not
-
a normal reaction. I thought it was normal because, yeah,
-
I was afraid. I flied and then and then so
-
I thought, okay, okay, then I should uh try something else.
-
Maybe I need to get used to the sound of
-
the bucking so that I don't run.
-
Yeah, which I tried. I tried.
-
So. We were walking in our neighborhood one day and
-
then and then some dogs in the neighbors houses. They
-
were bucking on stuff, and I tried. I stood in
-
front of the gate. I tried to stand and take
-
in all the bucking.
-
Wow, wow, like, okay.
-
Take it debrectually, tried to get used, but I seriously
-
felt like running.
-
I felt her running.
-
Yeah.
-
So but you see, we all have our reaction. So
-
I'm not sure what you're experiencing now. Maybe it's maybe
-
maybe something is bothering you that they make you very fearful,
-
maybe of your future, maybe of your children's future, maybe
-
of your health. I'm not sure what it is, but
-
I know that we all human beings. We have the
-
four basic common reactions.
-
To fight, to flight, to fam or to freeze, whichever one.
-
But the Word of God says we are to stand still,
-
and that would take renewing of our minds. My friends,
-
you know, stand still stands still. And so so when
-
I was reading doing the study of this research showed
-
that human beings we had these four basic reactions. And
-
then in that same research paper he actually says, but
-
we can retrain our minds.
-
I thought, retrain. It's the world of God that says
-
renew our minds.
-
The good news is, friends, we can retrain, we can retrain.
-
And the world of God says stands still.
-
You think it's easy, No, not easy. It takes a
-
lot of effort to stand still. For me, I know
-
because when I see a dog, even though it's not barking,
-
I feel like running away, like wiggling I feel like running.
-
Away and don't come here. Don't come here.
-
You know that's me will I feel like running, But
-
God says that we can retrain.
-
I'm not there yet with the dogs. My friends pray
-
for me, but one day I shall overcome.
-
Yeah, but we can retrain. And the word stands still. Friends,
-
I want to share with this with you. When I
-
was standying as I did the Hebrew world of stand still.
-
The word stands still and the Hebrew means yes up,
-
yes up, and the a couple.
-
Of meanings that. Oh, there are a couple of meanings there. Okay,
-
one of it as you can see, as you can see.
-
Oh, okay, okay, okay, you try try Oh it's back.
-
Praise the Lord, don't be stress. Yeah, that's what Moses
-
is here today. He's trying to troubleshoot what's wrong with.
-
The sound system? Yeah, thanks Moses. Yeah yeah. So you
-
see the word stands still in your south.
-
He has a few meanings here, But I want us
-
to focus on three words, three meanings.
-
Okay, the word stands still, remember, stand still.
-
And we are to retrain and renew our minds when
-
we are faced with danger, difficult situations, challenging situations when
-
we're afraid. Okay, so stand still. There are three meanings
-
there that I wanted us to focus on.
-
Number one is the word reflexively.
-
Reflexively meaning the act of standing still is a reflex.
-
It's an automatic reaction, meaning you are to make it
-
into as automatic. So that for something to become an
-
automatic thing, it means that it has to be practiced
-
and rehearsed over and over and over and over and
-
over again. That's what testings out, my friends, counting all
-
joy when you fall into various trials and tribulations.
-
That's why the.
-
World God says, because with it it produces patients and
-
you're complete.
-
Amen. Amen, So stands you.
-
You're to practice this one. I tell you. I know
-
you practice so many times.
-
You see.
-
I grew up in kl and my primary school and
-
my secondary school are in k l C.
-
I'm not talking about sub JKL. Yeah, I'm talking about
-
klk Okla. I'm Pataling Street KL.
-
I'm talking about Lot ten KLCC twin Towers kl Okay
-
that kot so many many years ago without all these buildings.
-
I I yeah.
-
So that's where my schools are and Pataling Street and
-
sometimes the streets might not feel very safe. When I
-
was in school, I remember, because our schools are all there,
-
It's like the street is that wide. But when you
-
walk there, right, some guy, we just have to knock
-
on your shoulders, you know, even though the streets are
-
so wide.
-
Yeah, weird people on the mini bus.
-
Yeah, we used to take public transports, mini bars and
-
the bus.
-
Weird uncles are there, Weird guys. Yeah.
-
So so I train myself when I'm walking on the
-
street normally. Okay, we have school bags and another I normally
-
I would I imagine. I imagine if someone is standing
-
in front of me and try to attack me, what
-
will I do?
-
Yeah, I play in my mind many times.
-
So I remember when my teachers taught me, if you're
-
gonna hit somebody, you gotta hit on the chin or
-
the notes because it's easier to hit and to hit
-
right the whole the face. It shouldn't be like this.
-
He taught me that I should have a knuckle out,
-
so that just harder, so that.
-
I can, you know. Yeah, So I tell you, I
-
really practice my mind. I do. I do. And because
-
I swim breaststroke, so.
-
My legs are generally I'm stronger lower pout of my body. Yeah,
-
now I live with a bit so upper bodies strang
-
a bit better.
-
But my stronger parts.
-
Are still my legs because I jump, I run.
-
Yeah, I swim, so my legs are strong.
-
So I practice so many times like anyone if they're
-
coming from me, world, will I do first or back?
-
Or you can't hear it for my Yeah, especially my
-
right legs are. I'm quite I could, yeah, I could.
-
I can even kick.
-
Yeah.
-
So in my mind, I practiced so many times. Okay,
-
I rehearse it. I practiced so many times. Yeah, since young. Okay,
-
by the way, since young, and I will try to
-
hold something in my hand, like an umbrella, water bottle,
-
you name it, just in case you know I grew
-
up here. I mean, yeah, I like to be prepared. Yeah,
-
that's why so so and run.
-
See. That's why some people ask me, oh know, why
-
you like this pair of shoes?
-
Oh?
-
Because when I run it won't fall off. Then the
-
person asked me, why would you be running?
-
Oh?
-
Yeah, why would I be running? Yeah?
-
Because I'm always ready anyway, So so I tell.
-
You what happened. Okay, stand still? Word is who make
-
it a reflex.
-
So my husband sometimes he tried to be funny with me.
-
They were at least twice. Okay, he was grabbing my
-
hand and then not letting go. I said, let me go.
-
I tell you I didn't mean it, but my reflex
-
came out. I kicked him right like that, I stretched
-
and I kicked. I kicked him right at his shin.
-
Within seconds, he fell on the floor.
-
And then you kill me? How could you kill me?
-
I said, I didn't mean it. I really didn't mean it.
-
I really didn't mean to kick you. I didn't mean it.
-
I told you, don't messy it said, I didn't mean it.
-
I tell you, yeah it.
-
It just came out because I practiced so many times,
-
and then it didn't happen once again, it happens twice.
-
He said, you kicked me. I told you I didn't
-
mean it. I didn't I really didn't mean it. Yeah yeah, yeah, so.
-
So but the thing that just means we can retrain
-
our minds, my friends, Yeah we can. So this meaning
-
of sense. It really stuck with me because that was
-
exactly what I was doing. And sometimes you might be wondering, God,
-
why am I facing this challenge again? If you got want,
-
says to practice again. And you need to know that
-
God wants us to pass. God wants us to pass.
-
God wants you to overcome. And God will not allow
-
you to go through things that is more than what
-
you can bear.
-
Because it loves you so much. You can. You might
-
not think you can bury it with him. You can.
-
Even if you have to take a day by day,
-
one step at a time, one day at a time,
-
you can.
-
I want to tell you.
-
You can retrain. The second meaning of the word stands still.
-
There are all like us to is this part resort?
-
Stand still?
-
It means that is the final resort that you If
-
you're standing still, means you are decided. Yes, I'm staying on.
-
There's no small of the back door somewhere. No, I
-
am staying on this God. I'm gonna trust all the way,
-
all the way. I'm not gonna let go. I'm gonna
-
test and see where you work. If you don't, then
-
I'll find no Finally, resort decided decided.
-
That God, you say you will come true for me.
-
God you say that you will heal me. God, no
-
matter what, even if I'm not here, I still would
-
trust you. Finally, resort, resort. The last one is the
-
word fast.
-
This fast is not the faster, it's the fast and
-
fast fast, strongly fastened like a nail fastened into the wall.
-
Fasten.
-
That means you are strong, you are immovable, You're not shakeable.
-
That is fastened for you for God to hang a
-
beautiful picture on it, to show His perfect and acceptable
-
will for you for your life.
-
Amen.
-
So what God says stands still, renew our minds by
-
standing still and see the salvation of the Lord.
-
Amen. Let's us stand.
-
I'd like to pray for all of us today. I
-
don't want to go without praying for you. I'm wanna
-
pray because that really sends God's heartbeat for you. And
-
only God knows what you are going through and what
-
you have gone through. But today we want to pray.
-
Let's worship God first, uh with that song guide Light
-
because ultimately Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
-
He is our guiding light, He is our everything.
-
Today I pray that you will allow God to renew
-
and renovate your minds, that you can you can stand still,
-
that you can that you can renew, that you can
-
see God.
-
