-
You're listening to a message to go from ext Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day. So
-
what is the purpose of unpacking the vision it comes
-
in to use, which is so that we can understand
-
You can start feeling up as we go to Lisa,
-
so that we can understand the vision as we unpack it.
-
And understanding is not enough to move forward. We don't
-
move forward in our minds only. We need to undertake.
-
Undertake means put it into action. Everybody's say action. It's like,
-
we can't just get fit by watching fitness videos on
-
the couch. We can't just taste good food by just
-
watching recipes on the you know YouTube. We've got to
-
actually try out war work it out. Okay, So we
-
got to not just understand the vision of ex Church,
-
but we got to undertake that means work it out,
-
all right, Okay, Now, before we go to the next slide,
-
how many of us here.
-
Love to travel? Raise your hands? Raise your hands?
-
Okay, yeah, me too, All right, I know the Trial
-
family be traveling soon. Johnny Mercy's as you travel, okay, Now,
-
how many of you when you reach your travel destination
-
you are like me? Where I will open my bag.
-
I won't just open it, but I will actually take
-
out things and put it in their rightful places and
-
kind of make that travel destination for the next few
-
days my home my second home. So I will take
-
out my toiletries and I put it in the bathroom.
-
I'll take out my clothes. I'll start hanging them in
-
the wardrobe. You know, I'll take up the and start
-
plugging them in. I make the hotel room or the
-
Airbnb or whoever is hosting us like my second home
-
for the next few days that I'm going to stay there.
-
I literally unpacked and put everything in your rightful place,
-
so that I know you know where to reach for
-
stuff when I need to and I feel comfortable.
-
Okay, how many of you are like me? You do that? Nobody?
-
I don't believe it in a sample size of fifty
-
people here, not.
-
One, not immediately, not even in the house. Okay, okay,
-
just kidding, Okay, no, precious, but okay, that's how I wrote.
-
You can ask my family.
-
When we reached the hotel room, I will start unpacking
-
staff for the first hour, settling everything in it. It's
-
just me, like, and it's fine. You know, we all
-
have our different travel styles. So I wanted to use
-
this analogy to show you about unpacking. Okay, okay, thank
-
you anology. Thank you, thank you, brother, thank you, thank you.
-
All right, okay, So this was the analogy that passa
-
kind of use, okay, in which you say, you know,
-
when you unpack your bag, you know, whenever, whether you're
-
your travel destination or you reach back home, different things
-
go to different places. They have their rightful place, right, yes,
-
And so when we unpacked the vision, there will be
-
seven uh different places in the same house that this
-
vision goes to. This vision leads us to. All right,
-
and these are the seven places that unpacking the vision
-
will lead us to. Okay, all in the same house,
-
but seven different spaces. Bathroom LA, kitchen la, your room LA.
-
You know you get what I mean.
-
Okay, So this is in your booklet as well. All right,
-
these are the seven places that unpacking division will leaders to.
-
Okay.
-
A place of prayer, everyone, say prayer. A place of passion,
-
say passion, A place of purpose, say purpose, A place.
-
Of practice, very good, you get a drill.
-
A place of prepare, a place of plan, and a
-
place of power.
-
Excellent.
-
Now these are the seven places that this series will
-
take us to across the next six weeks. Today we
-
are going to cover number one all the way to
-
number five part of it. Okay, number one to number five,
-
and in the next few weeks we're going to stick
-
on point number five because prepare has a lot of content.
-
You know, in life are preparations sometimes takes the longest time.
-
You know, you can cook a meal for the whole
-
day and you finish it in fifteen minutes, and all
-
the moms here say yeah, true, yes, okay, all right,
-
then we will end with plan and power. Okay, now
-
let's move on to the next light. So let's start
-
with prayer. Let's start with prayer.
-
Okay.
-
Prayer is the first place that we should be stirred
-
to go to while unpacking the vision of ex Church. Now,
-
we have to remember that the vision of X Church
-
is provided by God and not men, not past the
-
canev So God's vision, God's provision, God's vision, God's provision.
-
So if during this series we don't understand what is
-
being shared, we don't understand the vision too well, then
-
the first place we need to go to is a
-
place of prayer where we talk to God and we say, God,
-
would you help me to understand this vision for your vision,
-
give me provision of clarity for your vision, Give me
-
provision of understanding.
-
Yeah.
-
Okay, so that's the first place we want to go to.
-
Yeah.
-
Now let's go to the second slide, which is passion,
-
purpose and practice.
-
Okay.
-
So it's important that we always start with the why,
-
the why of why we do what we do and
-
say what we say. So some of you may be
-
wondering why does extra keep saying this or keep doing this?
-
Maybe gain clarity from this series. Yeah right, Okay, Now
-
let's move on to the next line. Okay, So when
-
Pastor Kenna was sharing this point, right, he was literally
-
very passionate on screen. I was watching his video again
-
and I can really sense the passion coming through the
-
video screen from three years ago, four years ago. Yeah.
-
So when Pastor Kenno started at church, he started it
-
with a burning passion where he believes that God only
-
has the best for each one of us.
-
Say the best.
-
Turn to your neighbor and say God has the best
-
for you. Turn to another neighbor and say God has
-
the best for you. Okay, amen, the people out there, Okay,
-
A man, this is what we're do in God's house.
-
We prophesy to one another. Amen.
-
We affirm His promises which are yes and Amen. So
-
when Passa Canna started ex Church twenty five years ago,
-
he started it with a burning fire where God, I
-
want everyone who comes to ex Church to not only
-
know that you have the best for them, but to
-
experience your best for them.
-
This is past us passion, this is past his passion.
-
That all of us experience God's best for our lives,
-
whether it's in our health, whether it's in long life,
-
if God wants us have long life, whether it's in
-
our resources, our finances, in our mental health, in our relationships,
-
in our marriages, our families, our workplaces, our ministries, life
-
at large. Passa Kenneth really wants to see all of
-
us experience God's best for our lives.
-
Amen.
-
Because God said right that I have come to give
-
you life and life abandoned Lee, not just halfway, but
-
abundantly the best.
-
Everybody say the best.
-
Yes, and so experiencing the best means that we live
-
this life that God has given us to his fullness
-
of possibilities.
-
Yeah.
-
And so is there any one of you here where
-
you are actually desiring a breakthrough in your life today. Yeah,
-
we can just take maybe half a minute and reflect
-
and write down what is it that you are desiring
-
a breakthrough for in your life. Yeah, there's a space there.
-
If you're ready, you can write it down. Just take
-
the next twenty seconds. So if you're on page five
-
right at the bottom, there's a question do you desire
-
a breakthrough life? Write down the breakthrough that you're desiring
-
for at this point in time. If you're done, you
-
can look up, so I know you're done, like exam
-
like that right, Okay, give us ten more seconds and
-
we can complete the rest at home.
-
Okay, cool.
-
So this is to get you started off now. So
-
in pastes sharing right, the phrase that he used is.
-
Lord, there must be more. There must be more for
-
our lives.
-
And then it's followed by Lord, show us how to
-
get to that more. Show us your secrets of getting.
-
To that more.
-
So there must be more that God has for us,
-
but it's also embedded in his secrets, his ways.
-
Okay, right now.
-
So Pastor is always, you know, hungry to find out God,
-
what is your secret for us to live your more?
-
And when Pastor discovers that secret, he will share it
-
openly with us. He's not a stingy student that will
-
not share, you know, so that we wouldn't hit the
-
exam marks.
-
He is more than.
-
Happy to share God's secrets with us so that we
-
experience his more. Now let's go onto the next It slight.
-
But although Pastor started ex Church with the desire of
-
helping us to experience God's best, He's so much more
-
for our lives, Pastor realized that our own interests shouldn't
-
even be the purpose white church exists. The reason the
-
purpose white church exists is to please God, not please ourselves.
-
Church exists to please who God and not ourselves. We've
-
got to get that clear, and we have to be
-
very careful, especially in this day age where church and
-
religion can be manipulated with the focus being on ourselves.
-
We must be careful. Are we here to just please ourselves?
-
Are we here to please God? That is a very
-
important heart check question that we need to ask ourselves
-
every day every day. Yeah, okay, all right, so we
-
are here to please God. Now we want on the
-
next life. Okay, so we talk about the word, which
-
is we want to experience God's best. But why because
-
ultimately we want to please him. Because God wants us
-
to experience his best. So when we experience his best,
-
we are actually pleasing God. God wants to bless us.
-
God wants to give us the best.
-
Okay.
-
And how do we experience God's best and please him
-
is by applying his word, his promises, his truth into
-
our lives. The word of God is the secret to
-
the more in your life. The word of God God, right,
-
and we are big on transforming the truth of God
-
into testimonies. The word of God is alive in you
-
and me, and we've got to live that out. We've
-
got to show the world the living word of God
-
that it transforms from truth to testimonies. Okay, just a
-
very quick one. Now we can take a break just
-
from the screen and from your book. What area are
-
we in right now? What district is this? Cheer us,
-
chore us?
-
Okay?
-
Now, how many of you know that there is a
-
road called Jalalan one one eight in cher Us? Any
-
of you live there? Anybody from Jalan one one eight?
-
Anybody heard of the Jalan one one eight before? Quite famous? Right?
-
It's just the one is it just opposite are you
-
kidding me? Oh wow, very special? Okay, now, okay, galant
-
one one, it is just opposite, Okay.
-
Why I say so? It is.
-
Fifty ten years ago my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
-
Stage three. So stage four is terminal.
-
Stage three is closer to terminal than it is to
-
you know, the early stages. And not only that, his
-
Gleason score, which is a score of aggressiveness over ten,
-
is seven, seven over ten. So how do you think
-
the prognosis of my dad's prostate cancer was? It's more
-
than the outlook is stage three over fall aggressive score
-
is seven over ten.
-
He's closer to.
-
Losing his life than keeping his life, Okay. And it
-
was a very very difficult time for our family and
-
a lot of seeking the Lord in tears, in prayers,
-
uh in his word was done during that period. Of course,
-
my dad had to go through treatment, he went through
-
radiotherapy for a period of time, he changed his lifestyle.
-
But the one thing that kept me going and gave
-
me hope that my dad was going to pull through
-
was the word of God. So why I say so
-
is one day I was traveling Insuras for something and
-
I kept seeing the sign bought one one it.
-
So it's like when I drive along.
-
Cursus, suddenly there'll be a copit yam jalan one one
-
it no no noterus touter us. And then when we
-
drove to Passajack's cousin's house, I passed the road that
-
says one one eight jalan one so one one aid
-
kept coming up to me, and I was like, God,
-
why am I saying one one? It keep coming up
-
to me, and then he led me to sound one
-
one eight. Let's all turn to someone one eight shall we? Okay,
-
let's go all the way to verse seventeen. So here
-
is written I shall not die, but I shall live
-
and recount the deeds of the Lord. I shall not die,
-
but I shall live to recount the deeds of the Lord.
-
And I knew instantly that God was speaking to me.
-
He was telling me that my father will not die
-
from prostate cancer ten years ago. My father's going to
-
live and live abundantly to tell of God's mercies and miracle.
-
And even up to now, my father is alive and
-
he's healthy, and you know he For cancer patients, right,
-
they have to be at least cancer free for five years,
-
then only is deemed as clear of cancer. My dad
-
has been clear of cancer for ten years and I'm
-
believing for more. And in fact, God told me how
-
many years he was going to live. But I shall
-
not disclose it here in public. It's just a personal
-
thing because God knows I need to be prepared for
-
my dad's homegoing. But that's how good God is that
-
his word became flesh in my life and my family
-
and I go around sharing this testimony. You know, my
-
father almost lost his life from advance pro s take cancer,
-
but then God really healed him miraculously and saved him.
-
And this is and I example of how God's truth
-
turns into a testimony and we get to share it
-
so that many you get to believe in our Lord.
-
Amen.
-
Amen, Okay, cool, let's move on all right now, still
-
under practice. Okay, the next slide. So, our mission in
-
ex church is to help people believe, help people believe.
-
Now do you think when someone hears your testimony it's
-
going to help them to believe a bit more easily. Yes,
-
that's why it's so important to have testimonies, because the
-
word of God people might find it hard to believe,
-
but when they read you as this living word is
-
more believable because they know you.
-
All right, Okay, so you can copy that down. Yeah.
-
Helping people believe and every testimony must be powerful, personal
-
and practice.
-
Girl.
-
Right, it's your story. It happened in a very practical situation,
-
and it's powerful.
-
Yeah.
-
Okay, Now let's move on to the next line. Okay,
-
So reflection time again. If I am the walking Bible,
-
what are people reading about me? What are people reading
-
about me? Okay, that's a reflection question for us to
-
think about and answer. But I'm not going to get
-
this to pen it down now, Okay, all right, shall
-
we move on?
-
Okay, very cool.
-
So we've covered the first four piece, which is prayer, passion, purpose,
-
and practice. Now we come to the final pee for today,
-
which is prepare everyone say, prepare, prepare.
-
Okay.
-
This is a long part which will cover today in
-
the next few weeks.
-
Huh prepare? Okay.
-
Now, how many of you have already been in ex
-
church since twenty twenty raise your hands, give me a wave?
-
Since twenty twenty.
-
Okay, about half half year.
-
Do you remember what was the vision in twenty the
-
theme that God gave us in twenty twenty Okay, yes
-
it is there open book question Nah o more answer.
-
Purpose.
-
So in twenty twenty, when the pandemic hit the world,
-
God gave us a very very significant theme for ex
-
Church and the theme was Purpose. Everyone say purpose, and
-
purpose means always starting with the why.
-
Everyone say why.
-
And that's why the image is a start button because
-
we want to start with purpose. Always start with the why.
-
Even when you get into a relationship, right, I mean, yeah,
-
it's not just for good look or good feels, but
-
why why do you even want to get married? The
-
why is very important? Even when you further your studies.
-
Why why do you want to further your studies? Is
-
it just to have money or job?
-
Why? Right? So the why is always important. Okay.
-
Now Past said during this unpacking series, he hopes that
-
we press our start button on to be open to
-
grow in understanding and living out the vision.
-
Of ex Church.
-
But he said, please don't press the stud button as
-
a pause or stock button because the same button that
-
turns something off on can also turn something off. So
-
let's not turn off during these six weeks. Let's keep
-
the start button on. Okay, Canna, I canna?
-
Okay, very cool. Next like.
-
Okay, all right, next month we go to the devotion
-
when now, when Pasta was sharing this also, he said
-
some people told him, Pastor, whatever you're sharing is very good,
-
but I think, right, it's only for leaders. This material
-
sounds that it's only for leaders. This is too much
-
for me, and a pastor says, no, that's not true,
-
because everyone can be a leader. Okay, turn to your
-
neighbor and say you can be a leader. Okay, turn
-
to the other neighbors, say you do can be a leader.
-
You know you're prophesying each other. Okay, what defines a leader.
-
A leader is someone who is able to lead themselves
-
first before they lead others. So if you're able to
-
lead yourself first, that makes you a leader already, even
-
though you have not let another person yet. But the
-
first person that you lead is yourself. So now, by
-
this definition, aren't all of us leaders. The fact that
-
you led yourself to wake up, to dress up, to
-
come to church today and be here, you are already
-
a leader because you could still be in bed or
-
somewhere else and letting sleep or entertainment lead you.
-
But you chose to lead your sleep. You chose to
-
lead your entertainment.
-
You chose to lead yourself here, so that makes you
-
a leader already. Okay, now, so we go to the
-
next line. So God makes no mistakes, Say no mistakes.
-
There is no mistake that each of you are in
-
ex Church at this time and season. There is no
-
mistake that we're here together.
-
Now.
-
Who has God given you as you are in ex
-
church right now? Who are the people in your circle
-
of influence, in your church plan, in your homes, in
-
your huddle, in your relationships? Who is in your circle
-
of influence? God made no mistake that they are in
-
your circle of influence. Why do you think God gave
-
these people to you in your circle of influence? And
-
how do you think you can draw the best from them?
-
We may not always like all the people that circle
-
of influence, but God gave them to us and He
-
wants us to draw the best, even from the people
-
that we may not like. Wow, mind blowing, But that's
-
our God. Because he may not actually like us very much.
-
He loves us.
-
But do you think we're very likable always to God?
-
Sometimes we also don't let ourselves write, Oh man, I
-
wish I could have done better than that. But if
-
God can draw the best from us, which maybe in
-
the natural we wonder, how can you like me when
-
I've done something like that? And he can still want
-
to draw the best from us. We can all we
-
are made in His image, and we too can draw
-
out the best from others, even for the people that
-
we find it hard to For the people that we like,
-
it feels easier. Oh, I like you, Okay, I'm going
-
to work on you. I'm going to draw out your best.
-
But for the people that we may not really like,
-
writ Oh, it's tough. But if God has given us,
-
let's be good stewards. Okay, all right, now let's move on.
-
So we're still under prepared. Okay.
-
Now, even as God is getting us prepared, he's also
-
preparing us. And at that point in time when Pasta
-
cannot shed this. In twenty twenty one, we were in
-
the thick of the COVID pandemic, and Pasta shared that,
-
you know, God is so good. Nobody knew that COVID
-
was going to come, but God knew. And so ten
-
years before COVID hit our world, God already started preparing
-
ex church to be pandemic ready. And in the bigger picture,
-
God is preparing ex Church to be persecution equipped. That
-
means we're ready when the pandemic hits. We're ready when
-
persecution hits. We're ready for whatever problem that will hit
-
the church and our faith God prepares us. Okay, So
-
I have been in church since two thousand and two.
-
How many years is that?
-
Twenty three? Right?
-
Twenty three years. People like Benny, people like Michelle have
-
been here even since the early days. Yeah, different ones
-
of course, Paster Jack as well. And I must say
-
the first ten years of ex Church we were focused
-
on the big.
-
We met as one word ship service.
-
We had a big service, it went into hundreds, We
-
ran evangelistic events, it could even go into thousands.
-
Yeah.
-
But then later on, in the second decade of our
-
ex Church history, God started to break us up into
-
small and that's how all the different church plants were planted.
-
Excyber was planted, Jurist was planted. Out of this breaking
-
the big into small, and then the emphasis.
-
Was on homes.
-
Homes became the heartbeat of the church. We say, it's
-
not enough for you to just come on a Sunday,
-
but you've got to be part of homes because homes
-
is really church. Coming for Sunday worship. Is not church
-
being a part of the homes is okay. And then
-
when the pandemic hit and we cannot meet more than
-
ten people in the place, we are ready to meet
-
in homes.
-
Yeah.
-
So God has been so good to prepare us, right,
-
so next light, So God is calling us to prepare. Hey,
-
next like and Passer kind of gave three examples. Prepare
-
like John the Baptist. John the Baptist is not the Messire,
-
but he came to prepare the way for the Messiah.
-
Prepare like Noah and the arkh. In Noah's time, they
-
had never seen heavy rains turning to floods. They have
-
no idea what a flood is. But he prepared in
-
faith and obedience anyway for the unseen. Yet be like,
-
prepare like Peter and the miraculous catch. Remember Peter was
-
trying to catch fish all night and they caught no fish.
-
And then when Jesus came, he said, cast your net
-
on the other.
-
Side, and then.
-
Immediately they began to catch so much fish until the
-
next was starting to break and the boat maybe was
-
starting to sink. But Peter had to prepare for the
-
catch Okay, let's go to the next slide.
-
So still on the story of Peter.
-
It is God who adds daily to the church, and
-
it is he who draws in the fish into the nets.
-
But the work of preparation is ours.
-
Okay, let's go to the next slide.
-
It is our job to prepare and, like the story
-
of Peter and the miraculous catch, prepared by launching into
-
the deep. Where is God calling you to launch out?
-
Two in this season? Usually it will be an uncomfortable place,
-
because the deep is always uncomfortable. But don't be afraid,
-
because God is preparing you and I for a big catch,
-
his catch in our lives.
-
Prepare by letting down the nets.
-
How are we going to catch the fish If we
-
don't put the nets down, They're just going to swim
-
by us. Prepare to strengthen the nets. In the fishermen's
-
free time, they are mending the nets. They are strengthening
-
the nets so that they're strengthening so that you know
-
it will be powerful and strong enough to catch the fish.
-
Prepare by enlarging the boats. Are we really ready to
-
invest our resources to enlarge our boats? Prepare and make
-
ready the partners the other fishermen to hold up the
-
net and pull in the net because the catch is
-
just too many.
-
Okay, So this is our role.
-
Be ready to launch into the deep, to let down
-
our nets, to strengthen our nets, and launch our bones,
-
boats and bones, and ready the partners.
-
Okay, all right, let's move on. Okay.
-
So let's read this together from the booklet Isaiah, chapter
-
fifty four.
-
Verse two to three.
-
Okay, and the count of tree one two three, and
-
the place of your tent, and let them stretch out
-
the curtains of your dwellings.
-
Do not spare.
-
Lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes, for you shall
-
expand to the right and to the left, and your
-
descendants will inherit the nations and make the desolate cities inhabited. Okay,
-
or a man Isaiah fifty four to two to three. Right,
-
a reminder for us to enlarge the place of our tent.
-
Okay.
-
Now we are still under prepare, say prepare, Okay. This
-
is the final let for today's word. Okay, we're gonna
-
introduce or reintroduce the.
-
Vision of X Church to you. Okay, let's go to
-
the next slide.
-
Okay, now, the first twenty years of ex Church, God
-
called us to be a Joseph church. So when you
-
think of Joseph, you think of building storehouses for the famine.
-
So the first twenty years God was focused on building
-
up our church as his resource for the world. So
-
it's a lot of I guess the focus was very
-
much inward building the church, making it strong and ready.
-
But in the next twenty years, which are we are
-
ready in now God has caused us to be a
-
Daniel church, sent out into the marketplace, sent out into
-
the world. Having been built up and made ready, Now
-
is our time to go into the world and be
-
His saw and light in the world.
-
Okay, Now, in.
-
Twenty fifteen, God gave us also a call to be
-
like King has a Cayer, to set our house in order.
-
If you know the story of King has a Caier,
-
He was going to die from a serious sik but God,
-
in his mercy, lengthened the number of his years and
-
gave him fifteen more years to live. But in that
-
fifteen years God wanted him to set his house in order.
-
So in twenty fifteen God told ext church that we
-
have to set our house in order. So the nd
-
line is twenty thirty. Now, in twenty eighteen, God gave
-
us another call to be like Nihi Maya who rebuilt
-
the walls of Jerusalem, and we are to be rebuilt
-
the walls and hang up the gates. Okay, walls signify identity,
-
see identity. So in this time until twenty thirty, God
-
wants us to rebuild our identity as a church. Coming
-
back to the ray Jane now, because maybe you know
-
there's a lot of in influence of the world or
-
other churches that tries to come in and influence ex Church.
-
God has a unique calling for every church. We are
-
not to be like the church down the street. God
-
has their own calling for them. We've got to live.
-
Out God's call for us. Okay.
-
Now let's move on to the next slide. So if
-
you notice, twenty thirty is the next check mark. For
-
those of you who run marathons, that is your next checkpoint.
-
Twenty thirty. Okay, it's not the finishing line. Is a checkpoint.
-
People always think, oh, everyone's talking about twenty thirty as
-
the finishing line, but no, it's a checkpoint.
-
Okay.
-
And at twenty thirty, God wants ex Church to be strong,
-
and He doesn't just want this generation to be strong,
-
he wants the next generation to be strong as well.
-
So that's why we're doing all that.
-
We do, because past the ken of they prophesy before that,
-
we are living in the times of plenty right now,
-
plenty spiritually twenty twenty three to twenty thirty, but twenty
-
thirty for the next seven years will be a time
-
of famine. Spiritually. That means it might be very very
-
hard for us for people to find God in the world.
-
I don't know what's going to happen twenty thirty onwards,
-
but we have to be patient, trust God and see.
-
But right now, it's a time of preparation, in this
-
time of plenty, where you and I can still come
-
to church. You and I can still you know, be
-
part of homes. You and I can access His word
-
freely and openly, you know, talk about.
-
Christ and pray.
-
Let's do it while it's still day, okay, because time
-
will come when it's night and we may not be
-
able to to, you know, do the things of God
-
so easily. Still can, but needs more effort night, right,
-
you have to turn on the light. It takes more
-
effort to do things at night, still possible. Okay, but
-
now it's still day.
-
Let's work.
-
Well, it's still day. Okay, all right, let's go on.
-
What it means to us as a church. That's like, okay,
-
let me see you. Okay, you know what. Okay, I'm
-
trying to follow the notes as well. Page nine, page nine. Okay, okay,
-
we go back one more slight Richard, Sorry, okay, here, yes, I.
-
Need to give you the answers.
-
Okay, we are at page nine, all right, at point
-
number three. In twenty twenty, we celebrated our twentieth anniversary
-
with a clear vision for the next twenty years. And
-
that vision begins with His kingdom purpose and priority. So
-
in the Lord's prayer we pray, let your kingdom come
-
and your will be done right. And now, like I
-
said earlier on in point four, God declared Daniel as
-
our vision for the next twenty years.
-
Okay, we all call that. Okay.
-
Now we're up to speed, Okay, wrapping up soon, okay.
-
So what this means to us as a church. The
-
big vision that God has for ex church is found
-
in Haber Cook two fourteen. Let's read this out aloud together,
-
one two three for the earth will be filled with
-
the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the
-
waters cover the sea Habercook two fourteen.
-
Amen.
-
Okay, So I know when we say the earth here,
-
you think of the whole globe. But did you know
-
that the earth is also where you are at right now?
-
Your families, your school, your workplaces, your church plan, your ministries,
-
your circle or influence.
-
This is your earth. So Ashira, you can also have
-
God has an earth for you for his glory to
-
be filled. Right, yeah, tej Jason, God has an earth
-
for you for his glory to be filled.
-
So all of us have our own piece of the
-
earth that He wants us to bring his glory into.
-
Amen. Amen. Okay, So where is your earth? Yeah?
-
All right, So have a think about it when you
-
go home, all right. And we are going to wrap
-
up with this final verse from Genesis chapter one, verse
-
twenty eight. Let's read it together, okay. One two three.
-
Then God bless them, and God said to them, be
-
fruitful and MAULTI apply feel the earth and subdue it.
-
Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the
-
birds of the air, and over every living thing that
-
moves on earth. Genesis chapter one verse twenty eight. Now
-
there are three things we can draw from this verse.
-
Verse is the what This is the very first commandment
-
that God gave man.
-
Actually, so it's very important to take note what did
-
God command us? We can go to the next light
-
to feel the earth, similar with Hypercook two to fourteen.
-
How is by being fruitful and being and multiply ourselves,
-
in other words, to make disciples. We first as a disciple,
-
and then we make disciples. That's how we multiply ourselves.
-
And the why is so that when we populate the
-
earth with God's disciples, we will be able to have
-
in his influence his dominion over the earth. Because God
-
originally made the earth for himself and for us. His
-
creation is people. But because of sin, the enemy took it.
-
But God wants us to take back this earth for
-
him and that's why Jesus came.
-
But we still have to work out, you.
-
Know that taking back in his name, in his power,
-
in his authority.
-
Amen. Okay, and that's it.
-
We'll go to the last slide and we're going to
-
close with this extreme can come up.
-
We're ending already, Okay.
-
So as we go from here, let's ask ourselves what
-
excuse us am I thinking about right now with regards
-
to living out the vision that God has what X.
-
I know we spoke about a lot of things today,
-
but I'm sure there is something that jumps out at
-
you today and it could be very different between different
-
ones of us. Here. What is God speaking to you
-
today from this whole sharing? What is the one thing
-
that God is stirring your heart?
-
My child, my child? Would you? Would you? And what
-
may be the natural excuse? Oh Lord, I can't it's
-
too tough, it's too crazy.
-
If I says my child, would you? My grace is
-
sufficient for you. My strength is made perfect When you
-
are weak, do it, but you can do it in me,
-
says the Lord.
-
Amen.
