You're listening to a message to go from AX Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
The Lord wants us to be ready for it, and
-
that's what we're going to talk about today. And we're
-
going to continue to raise disciples, raise Daniels to be
-
sent into the marketplace. So that is where we left
-
off last month in sometime early December, and then we
-
stopped because everybody was on holiday, so we wanted to
-
make sure everyone's back. And they're still on holiday anyway,
-
So privileged there are people there always have time for holiday.
-
Are you sorry? Ellie's not on holiday, She's back for
-
the Lord. Amen, blessings. Yeah, on, Ellie was here with
-
us today from our bank service. Amen. Cool God Cole.
-
All right, so we're going to talk about the preparation.
-
So we're gonna go back a little bit in the time.
-
We're dinosaurs now in a time when the pandemic happened.
-
I feel so long ago. I remember past us sharing this,
-
I remember even speaking the theme uh in twenty twenty one.
-
In February of twenty twenty one, all was recorded. We
-
were all in our homes and then I was being
-
recorded in twenty twenty one. The Lord had downloaded this
-
word from Daniel chapter two. So Daniel chapter two, if
-
you have time you read it from the book of Daniel.
-
You know the story of Daniel who was the like
-
an administrator, like the second man to the king, King Nebukazza.
-
And in this chapter two, verse twenty seven to twenty eight,
-
if you look at the what's up on the thing there?
-
All right? So the king had a dream, and the
-
king wanted his his servants to in the the dream
-
all right, and and tell interprise one thing, tell him
-
what he dreamt. He who can dream your dream? Law,
-
I don't know what you I don't know what you
-
dream last night. But this king them more, he was
-
so like, so interesting a person that like he really
-
tested his all his wizards and all his wise men,
-
and said, you have to not only you know, interpret
-
this dream. You gotta tell me what the dream is
-
and then interpret it.
-
Right.
-
So he says the secret wish the king so then
-
so so none of them could do it. None of
-
them could do it. And but Daniel was given the
-
grace to do it. The annointing came on him. And
-
so Daniel answered, in the presence of the King and said,
-
the secret which the king has demanded, secret my your dream?
-
Who dreams your dreams? Right? Do you dream in color?
-
Black and white? Ah? Okay, the secret which the king
-
has demanded. The wise men, the astrologers, and the magicians
-
and sooth sayers cannot declare to the king. But everybody say,
-
but there is a God in heaven. Everybody, Amen, there
-
is a God in heaven who reveals secrets. And he
-
has made known to the king Nebukenesa, what will be
-
in the latter days? Amen. So this is where the
-
Daniel chapter two, there's a display of God's power of
-
the of this first of the revelation of this dream
-
he had, and then the interpretation, and he says, but
-
there is a God in heaven. So this king Nebo
-
is going to find out who is King of Heaven,
-
of the heavens, is, King of kings is? And it coincides,
-
doesn't it tie in with habakok Chapter two, verse fourteen. Amen,
-
The theme of our church that the knowledge of the
-
glory of the Lord the like the waters of the
-
sea covered the earth, because they want to know who
-
this glory of the Lord is. And so Daniel was
-
given the revelation now a bit like Joseph, but not
-
like Joseph. Joseph only interpreted the dreamau say, Joseph, the
-
King told him, no, it is what I dreamt. And
-
then what was the interpretation? Now the King is saying,
-
what is my dream? And interpret it? Double man double right? Okay,
-
kind of like a Joseph, but not it's one level up,
-
you know, not a level up. Daniel had to interpret
-
and also tell what the dream is. So as you
-
look at your books there, so this is this is
-
where Daniel was at. And so the only way to
-
do it is really by the supernatural power of God.
-
So from that time what was revealed to us in
-
twenty twenty one for our church and it's still going
-
doesn't mean full stop at the end of taking to anyone,
-
because God is every he's forever, he's eternal, he's limitless.
-
So from that time onwards we declared that this would
-
be this, this the year of supernatural power of the miraculous,
-
about the Spirit of God moving like never before, and
-
also the release of gives manifest, the gifts of the
-
spirit manifested and come to pass. So so what what
-
is what was downloaded to pass us. He had this
-
vision and this word was the word. The theme PROPHESI
-
to prophesy is to how do you prophesy? We have
-
to use our mouth. Okay, so if we if you
-
and you won't remember twenty t anyone, but I remember
-
speaking and telling you the Hebrew word co you know,
-
and the no no, no, Hebrew is not co. But
-
but hero is the word mouth and and it is
-
a picture of like an open mouth. So we need
-
to have a mouth, a mouth that's ready to speak,
-
not speak cursus speak, blessing speak truth. Amen. And so
-
we want to see the supernatural happen. It can happen
-
through you because God's spirit is working in you, the miraculous,
-
the healings that when you pray for your friend, here
-
wave healer, heydeck start with the hey deck Versla, start
-
with the toll pain verse. I know you scared right
-
to pray as you suddenly pray for get No. I
-
remember praying for someone, a person I don't know what sickness.
-
I say, I can't do this, but I had to
-
because I was the only one there, you know, And
-
I said, you want the person dies? I don't know.
-
And sometimes you pray people die how you how No,
-
God not alive. I don't know. But then you gotta
-
just step up to it and trust God. Right, I'm
-
not the healer. He is so so the year that
-
we said, brother sigh into being right. The Spirit of
-
God moving, so, the supernatural, the miraculous, the Spirit of
-
God just moving like never before. And it continues, it
-
doesn't stop it twenty twenty one, the Lord revealing to
-
us and each of us we actually have the opportunity
-
to move in the gifts of the Spirit. Yeah, we mustn't.
-
It's not only the pastor or the perfect it's you.
-
Everyone has. We believe God has released the gifts to
-
the body of Christ. So this word prophesy was downloaded.
-
And so because Daniel opened his mouth and became a vessel,
-
a mouth peace for the Lord to speak God's word
-
to the king and reveal the power of God. Amen
-
and man, so we can allow like make ourself when
-
you surrender you you are the vessel of God. Amen,
-
right to use you to speak that Word's in the
-
right time. God has placed the Daniels. You are Daniels
-
in the marketplace we got. You're out there working right,
-
and don't be so shocked that you are in this job,
-
in this place, and you know, making friends with your
-
colleagues or your clients or you know, whoever God brings.
-
And then then you say, I don't know why hear.
-
Don't say that you're here because God give you a purpersona.
-
So get ready your mouth must don't simply open mouth
-
to catch the no everything God, let God you opened
-
up our God give you the word? How does he
-
give you the word as you dwell in God's word?
-
As you read God's word? Right? Everybody? Remember me, yob,
-
I told you. I'm going to remind you. I told
-
all of X already buy your own biblelah, bring your
-
own bible. Lah. Don't give me e bible lah my bibles? Yeah, okay.
-
You know I grew up in a in a generation
-
where we carried our Bibles and our notebooks, and the
-
girls who all of us had baskets, and we carried
-
our baskets. You know, I'm not that old, but I'm
-
old enough, and and we used to carry our bibles,
-
and we love to what bible you bought, you know,
-
and you know now nobody want to walk with the Bible.
-
I don't know whether you're going to church. So how
-
they know you're going to church when you carry your bible?
-
What are you going to church?
-
You know?
-
No wearing your cross, were wearing wearing the Bible. So
-
bring your own bible. So we need the word of
-
God so that we can feel it. Right, amen. So
-
the theme prophesy was downloaded from the Lord in your notes.
-
And all of us must learn and be ready to
-
speak God's words at the proper time. There will be
-
the right time. So suddenly someone in your office, your boss,
-
you know you, and I'm sure you've had those experiences.
-
And then when your boss trusts you, they talk to you.
-
And then now the word of the Lord will come
-
to you. And you just have to be bold and
-
courageous and full of faith and speak that word because
-
the God, there is a God in heaven. Yeah we
-
say that, y'all. You know he and your son you
-
a canto, I know, managing speaking. So we are from
-
kay L's cante. Okay, all of you from cannot speak
-
and gone like this, why why hey? Why? Also? But
-
must learner can te? Okay? All right, what kind of
-
words can tho? All right? What kind of words can
-
you speak? You're gonna speak words or blessing. No, so
-
many times what's a negative? Words? Negative words? Words? Right?
-
Sometimes you say so are you your face? And today
-
if you're a mom, or if your husband or wife,
-
you know, we always forgot do your hair like Hella,
-
you know, but maybe we need to learn to have
-
some of God the Holy Spirit in us. Where wish
-
la people good morning, not bad morning, words of life,
-
words of encouragement, peace, words of faith, healing, deliverance, prophecy,
-
it's written there and sometimes it's words of discernment. You
-
never know how God will speak to you. Because you
-
stay close to the Lord, you're doing your quiet time.
-
The Lord will just use you to speak. Sometimes you
-
put a word. Sometimes you give you a name of
-
a person and you go up to that person. You
-
don't know why, but then you just say hello, how
-
are you? First? And then then the Lord will give
-
you law or he might or she might tell you,
-
and then you the word will be released. And then
-
because God wants to show his power working through you,
-
and it all begins with us to be willing to
-
speak God's word. Amen. It could be even offering, some
-
offering somebody, can I pray for you?
-
Ya?
-
We're so scared, you know, even do say, can I
-
pray for you? Don't be scared? Scared sometimes right, especially
-
if they are, you know, not non believer, but they
-
are the ones who need to experience the power of God. Amen,
-
prayer a prayer, open your mouth and pray in the
-
name of Jesus. Amen, and I tell you something will happen. So,
-
with all this going on, what is God doing? He's
-
calling us to prepare. That's why we talked about two
-
sundays ago about the preparation is preparation time to twenty thirty?
-
Then I remember people say so after twenty thirty, Oh yeah, No,
-
after twenty thirty, all of you are evangelists. All of
-
you are one thing. Judge, I don't know. You're recipling.
-
That is the heart of God for us, you believe
-
it or not. I have to keep reminding you, like, okay,
-
So we must all believe, re mind each other. Amen.
-
So God is calling us to prepare. Amen, So you
-
can fill in the blanks there, all right, you can prepare.
-
So it is therefore our responsibility to bring the umbrella. Okay,
-
you are not going to bring the rain. You're not
-
going to carry the rain like how are to get
-
the one thousand? How to reach one thousand? No, God
-
is telling us not to worry about, uh, the how
-
I do this? How the responsibility for us is to
-
bring our bred luck, not our responsibility to bring the
-
rain a man, So don't worry about how I'm going
-
to reach the masses, but be concerned and be focused
-
on doing our part. It's open your mouth when it's time.
-
It's about preparing to the world. It's about believing the
-
vision that God has given to us that we will
-
we will make disciples. A man, let's go back to
-
make disciples. We are going to raise leaders, and we're
-
gonna send daniels out into the marketplace. You hear this
-
over and over again. Amen, hallelujah. So the preparation for
-
the journey ahead? How do we do this? There must
-
be a how to prepare? So we are given firstly,
-
the three c's plus two bonus c's So got five
-
c's okay, all right, if you follow past the kenachin
-
everything got C C C E, E B B p
-
bbb okay. So we're all learning for him. Okay, So
-
what will we need to prepare for the journey ahead?
-
The first three c's the first C. Try to follow her.
-
The first C is the word conviction. Conviction Do you
-
believe or not? You see, if you don't believe in
-
what we are sharing, then how will we even begin? Ah?
-
All right, So if you know you've God always when
-
he wants to do something, he needs us to believe.
-
Only believe. Right, you read all of the all of
-
the gospels. The poor Man's Child was you know, we've
-
cigarette had the unclean spirit and then and then or sick,
-
or anyone of the people whose parents who say, oh, Jesus,
-
help my unbelief. I believe, but I have unbelieved, Help
-
me Jesus. So Jesus just said, only believe. So God
-
wants us to believe a man, it starts with believing
-
and our church motto in the short sort of short
-
mission statement. That's a longer one, but the short one
-
is helping everybody saying it. Okay, Hence we need to
-
catch this vision. Vision has to be caught. It cannot
-
be taught. Court means you have to see, you have
-
to observe, you have to watch, then you catch same.
-
Have your mother got some kong fu, make laxa or
-
make tim a WOA or anything. She can tell you
-
a hundred times. I also can. I can. I can
-
hear my mom tell me this is the recipe. But
-
until I watch her make that dish, then I learn. Right,
-
that's why you two is such a blessing. I think
-
suddenly when YouTube came alive, now everyone can cook, she came,
-
now everyone can fry, Now everyone can cook? Right because
-
I might open night, I'm like, oh, this is how
-
you do it so easy, And I dared to do
-
it because I'm not a very adventurous specific I don't
-
waste my ingredients. So like, yo, how oh no God, YouTube? Watch?
-
I watch? Okay, didn't I try? Right? So it's same
-
with our faith. Amen, And we started believing we have
-
to catch the vision. We want to have one thousand
-
people if our partners are one thousand, one thousand catching
-
it by watching and following. Amen, hallelujah. Okay, So we
-
must believe, all right, and that and that will help
-
us already open the door to see what's more. Amen.
-
So first one is conviction to catch the vision. Second,
-
see is condition all right, we need to centralize these conditions.
-
What are the conditions? Now? What the conviction that God
-
gave to pastor was that through this verse? In Judges
-
twenty one twenty five twenty one twenty five Judges, it
-
says in those days there was no king all right
-
in Israel, and everyone did what was right in his
-
own eyes. So it's true that if you run a company,
-
or you do even in your family, if everyone wants
-
to do their own thing, we will never meet the
-
goal of your company. Hospitals have a goal, hopefully, I
-
hope it's to save lives, all right, So everything you
-
do is to emergency is to save a life, not
-
let him die cannot right, is to save a life, right,
-
no matter how bad it is, true or not, no
-
matter how go. Yeah, the person looks at because we
-
experienced before they brought a child that was born and
-
led left to die. If you remember Doris German German Dorris,
-
all right, the child was left to die. What is
-
the hospital is supposed to do? The hospital is supposed
-
to bring life? My hospital, No, the hospital lord baby
-
and say it's going to die, just leave it, give
-
the medicine to kill it. Because it looks so the
-
baby was so mangled. But the goal of any medical
-
care is to care, not left to die, all right.
-
It's not up to use to say he looks like
-
this afore he will die. So hospital do that. Whatever
-
your company. If you're an insurance company, you want to
-
make sure people get insurance, all right, all right. So
-
the goal a church, a family, any organization cannot move
-
forward if we are not united, and if we don't
-
see the same things, if we don't believe the same things,
-
if we don't catch the same things, that's tough. That's tough.
-
So as a church, God has downloaded this to our
-
founding senior pastor shared it with leadership. We are twenty
-
six years old. We've been growing as we have. It's
-
because step by step we have followed by the guidance
-
of the Holy Spirit. And so we can't just decide
-
I want to do this way. I want to follow
-
that church down the street. Hello, then go and join
-
the church. It's okay because they have a vision. But
-
I can tell you every church vision is to save
-
the last layer. Nobody don't save the last layer you
-
have you don't like this vision. Extra, I went to
-
a lot of judge. I'm speaking of many judge. I
-
see Sam Sam Moore, same samere I'll also go and
-
make disciples. Oh, so let down the netler Yo. I
-
don't think there's any abdolla. Others also like to say
-
make disciples. Here, we also make disciples. Why may people
-
believe our judge because I make disciples? Way? Oh, now
-
to make disciple work. This is how you make disciple. Okay, here,
-
no nonsense, and we disciple you all right, because you're serious?
-
All right. I don't let you do what you do, because, however,
-
unites a vision important to centralize. There is a condition.
-
So we centralized. We set the conditions of how things
-
should be done so that we are all clear and
-
we can understand the same thing. Amen, and not left
-
anyone do what you want them. Anything can happen. What's
-
the point, right, So we must write the vision down
-
and run with the vision. Right. Read that Inhabit Cook
-
earlier chapter. So this is where we're saying, this is
-
the way follow it. So we're centralizing training as well
-
this year. Amen. We want to be able to bring
-
everyone through. We don't want people to don't know what
-
to do, then spread it out and then do other things.
-
Cannot law. Okay, there is no leadership. There is there's
-
no way to lead it's difficult, right, So we want
-
to say, don't just do what you think is right.
-
Please do this way because this way produces fruit. Now,
-
a lot of people might not see it. Friends, now,
-
but after twenty six years of running and more, I
-
can tell you there is a way to disciples. There
-
is a way to grow church, and there's a way
-
to do church. You're not just everybody I like you?
-
Where is today? Are like? No? That's why we ask
-
you to dress up, because we believe in dressing our best. Okay,
-
dress your best. There's a way we want to please
-
the Lord. So we said this is the way. Like it.
-
Don't like it, Okay, then you have redecide like you Okay,
-
But that's that's why we condition. All right. We want
-
to prepare for the journey ahead. Amen, all right, not
-
do what you think is right now. If you want
-
to do what you think is right, then it's going
-
to be hard to be a united team, because when
-
we are united, we can go further. Not one only
-
can a jin running the vision alone? We all run?
-
Can it run?
-
No?
-
No, forest gum, but maybe you're not born yet. Okay,
-
but forest gum, But but we all catch it and
-
that's important. He's not a lone ranger. He's bringing all
-
of us along, and any one of you can plunge,
-
can disciple, Amen, can go through the difficult chalness. What
-
we're teaching you to do that, Amen, we train you.
-
Third sea is cooperation. We need to cooperate. We need
-
to have a commitment. Amen. So commitment can to the
-
coffer sea is conviction. Conviction, as I says, is you
-
believe or not I believe to That is a conviction
-
that comes from the lot. And then we have the
-
condition and centralizing only can come through the leaders, from
-
leaders teaching. However, even if they are all the conviction
-
and condition, if there's no cooperation and commitment from everyone,
-
we have nothing not nothing. Cannot Oh, I cannot because
-
you are not agreeing? All right, we cannot, we cannot,
-
we cannot commit. So it says yea, the vision is
-
nothing without the provision. God always provide. And who is
-
the provision? People? Amen, Lord, your neigh say people, Oh
-
you are important. Amen, you are important. Phrase God. It's
-
not to misuse the people. It's that God choose to
-
use you. He always choose to use someone to help us. Well,
-
we have we are praying all we always choose, always
-
share right, live by favor, no money. You are right
-
noyly by faith. Then we pray God provided. And you're
-
hoping some monkey and the tree will throw the money
-
down right, But there ain't no monkey from the tree.
-
But it's always somebody. A person said to take from
-
people sometime that you if you are not like, you're
-
not open to take from people. But God choose the
-
Gloria to give you. Then then problem is you don't
-
like Gloria. Ha, then you I cannot think from Gloria
-
do like? But God use Gloria to give you all.
-
So wife says, God always choose people. He made you,
-
He chose us. It's a privilege to work with the Lord. Amen.
-
Is he doesn't use systems. He doesn't just use a strategies.
-
It's always a person. The answer is in a person.
-
I cannot give you a system or strategy and how
-
to reach your family member who is not yet in
-
the Lord. He will use you. He will find ways
-
through your lives. And you know through things that you
-
can you alone can bring because God speaks through people. Amen.
-
He didn't send a donkey, he didn't send a cow.
-
He said Jesus. The blood of Jesus had to be
-
shed for us. If a monk in mon if a
-
cow and a sheep's blood could have handled it, he
-
would have sent you the cow or gold and silver. No,
-
it's not by silver and gold. You have not been
-
saved by silver and goal. You have been saved by
-
a person who gave his life for every person on
-
the face of the earth, if we choose to receive it. Amen.
-
So these treaties are how to prepare ourself number one?
-
Do you believe? Conviction Number two? The condition we need
-
to have the same way length. We need to be
-
on the united team. And then there needs to be
-
called operation. Let's commit together, Amen, and God will. This
-
vision cannot do without God's provision. And this provision comes
-
in the form of you and I. Amen. Just the
-
two of us. We can make it if we try. Amen.
-
That's a song. Okay, all right, all right, there's the
-
two of us. We can make it if we try.
-
Seis two of us, Not me and the donkey, me
-
and the sound system. No, it's you and me. You
-
and I can do something. Amen with the lot. So
-
the bonus seas two other seas is community. Amen. So
-
as you follow through community. God doesn't want us to
-
move forward alone. He doesn't want us to work about
-
reaching people the one thousand by ourself. Not only can
-
a chain alone doing it by himself don't work in isolation. Amen,
-
like he give that. But if he wants to lose
-
weight and I keep cooking all the really yummy food,
-
don your style of food can go very yummy. He
-
will never lose weight. And I keep making all my
-
lovely cakes and desserts, sugar is bad for him. My
-
husband needs to lose weight, okay, all right, because sugar.
-
Now go help getting all the all these things are
-
you know help. So if I don't together help him
-
together do the weight control, we will we won't make
-
it right. So we need the community. I need to
-
be my husband's community, all right. Today, He's not alone
-
fighting the sugar levels. All right. I also get healthier,
-
all right. So husband and wife doing it together, church,
-
partner's doing it together. Friends doing it together. And you
-
know this, you know this right, community going growing together.
-
Don't No one goes alone. A man don't don't think
-
about this vision there we are talking about a huge
-
tumlow church. You know we will want to do this together. Amen.
-
We we call it community because community means support and
-
and a lot of people like to use a community,
-
but what does it mean. It means support. We need
-
each other. I need you, you need me, Just the
-
two of us, we can make it if we try,
-
all right. A community that truly cares really is a
-
safe community. We need a safe community, and and and
-
and there are people who have found safety in the
-
community to go through the hardships to do things that
-
are alone very difficult. Yeah, we are here as a
-
community to support, amen, right. And a big part of
-
community and over all of us serving together is communication.
-
Are your communication? Let's get better at it? Okay? Because
-
I think I think Richard knows why. I think he
-
cannot read my mind? What's the word? I don't know
-
what you want? You know? You know you know what
-
I don't know? All right? Same in a marriage, husband,
-
you know, waited for so long you found your what
-
you call it, the one in your life? Okay, before marriage?
-
Why you read my mind? After marriage? You can't read
-
my mind? All right? And I tell your wives you
-
just have to tell your husband what you want because
-
he cannot read your mind. Maybe after forty years. He
-
can loop I'm not married forty years' married thirty years.
-
My other reads me quite well, but sometimes he can't.
-
He gets me wrong because my feelings my feelings. But
-
I won't tell him all right? So communication number one,
-
number one ingredient in making a marriage work is communication.
-
Husband and wife must talk honestly. And this is the
-
church is the bride of Christ and the marriage looks
-
like that as well. We are God's church. We have
-
to communicate. But the problem is, I say, JUNI, can
-
you please tell that's the Gloria like that. I agree
-
with you her can, But the Bible says no. If
-
you're offended, you go and tell the person. I'm offended
-
by you, Edward, but were skeed? Are we scared? I
-
don't know. Maybe I'll lose my friendship? Maybe you get
-
angreet me. I don't know why we're scared. We don't
-
want to be the baddy, but you, I'm offended by you.
-
If only we can just look at it as so
-
what I did you see that thing?
-
Our hood?
-
What are you saying? Okay? But we don't. So I
-
go and tell Gloria A can you tell him he's
-
not a job? But Okay. If I told him and
-
he still says no, but I'm offended. I don't care. Okay.
-
Then I bring Gloria second person, and I say, Gloria,
-
I told Edward I don't care. Came out of the judge.
-
Oh I know. I'm saying. That is a way the
-
I will. In Matthew chapter eighteen says, if that is,
-
go and communicate. He don't. He still don't admit. Take
-
another person, your pastor, your elder, goal, your home, lead
-
the top. Please understand the situation. Let's try iron it out.
-
We need to communicate. Amen. So communication we can get better.
-
Any one of us can get I can get better.
-
Maybe when you hear me raise my voice, you say
-
passes and angry that I'm saying. No, I'm just very excited,
-
but want your sounds so ground. No, I just very excited.
-
Got wrong. But but you have to say, you have
-
to know my heart, and I have failed as a
-
pastor whereby my my just members that past I can't
-
see your heart. Oh that is true. You have to
-
spend a lot of time with me, then you know
-
my heart. So those early days I lost members because
-
my voice very loud. Why you never stay for prible
-
study or all the students you score me here, I say, no,
-
I want you to grow communicate nicely, say nicely, hey,
-
but I was studying. Will help you know, hey, I
-
was study of course, our communication all right, bye, I went,
-
I say sorry to them, cook for them, and I said,
-
please forgive me. Some came back like the rest in comeback,
-
but today they are lost in Jesus. Sorry, say ah,
-
I did my partner? Sorry there phone ringing also? Okay,
-
so communications sorry? Oops? All right, okay, So what is
-
the motivation of our community then? Right? Okay, so we'll
-
never go to a community that truly cares. Is a
-
community that is truly safe. We said that sometimes we
-
might feel we don't need anyone. Don't be like that.
-
We are not an island. We need each other. So
-
a big part is communication. The motivation of community. What
-
motivates the community is love. That's why you all are friends. Man.
-
You like each other, you call each other out, you
-
invite each other because you like each other, and also
-
you love right, you love people. That's a safe community.
-
I suppose when you know you are loved and accepted,
-
people open up and that comes with building a strong community.
-
Over time. Doesn't happen overnight, but over time. Amen. So
-
that's why in Luke chapter ten, verse twenty seven, he says, yeah,
-
the Lord Jesus said. So he answered and said, you
-
should love the Lord your God with all your heart,
-
with all your soul, with all your strength, with all
-
your mind, and also love your neighbor as yourself. So love.
-
We all want to be loved, and we also want
-
to give love. We are made that way, man, and
-
that builds community, that makes it a safe place. So
-
because of time, I just ran on first five things
-
we can learn about love MHM. Number one by things
-
I look, we must look out for each other. Okay,
-
so I go to it first because it's on the
-
screen in your book, right, look out for each other.
-
Then number two, we must listen, not just talking talking,
-
Gotta listen to people's heart, all right. See. Third one
-
is lend, always ready to to stop and lend a
-
helping hand when you see a need. I'll tell you,
-
I'll come back, tell you the story. Then lead, So
-
so we lead means that you are the example, and
-
I told you before a story of Aida, sister Aida
-
from Mandarin Service. Lead means consistently confidently and courageously by example,
-
meaning you go to come, you go to work every day,
-
and and and sister Aida will go to work every
-
day and she would say, good morning. I don't know
-
tao on all right, tao on tenn tao an nobody
-
nobody on her back all right. So for weeks and
-
weeks and nobody tell on her huh. And then finally
-
one day she keep doing it consistently. Finally one voice
-
it back to her, and then slowly two voices came
-
back to her and said, And finally everybody said to aunt,
-
all right. And then it became a habit in the company.
-
Why cannot say good morning? She said? And finally she
-
had to leave the company one day and then they said,
-
oh no, we're going to miss the child one person.
-
And then we don't have a child on person anymore.
-
But they can keep doing it, right, So you lead
-
the way and then leaves love leaves, meaning you leave
-
a legacy because people watch you doing and they want
-
to do it, a legacy worth following and continuing without compulsion.
-
They will they miss you and you're not around. So
-
Ada was missed when she was not around. Amen. So
-
the story about just to bring the picture of what
-
love does is you look. So the story it goes
-
with Pasta going for morning. What this happened during the pandemic.
-
We could still walk in our parks and a lot
-
of people walking the part. And there was this man
-
who was a stroke victim, probably getting better because he
-
walked with you know, you can't move one side, so
-
he would walk and by that day person looked first
-
of all, observed the first time. The next time he
-
not only looked, he had to listen as he was
-
walking the sound of someone falling, and it was this
-
man with the stroke disability. He fell, so he at
-
least I observed someone. And later as he continue every
-
day and hey, one day he fell. He hurt someone fall.
-
So we are aware of our surroundings, right, so listening
-
to people's heart, listening to what's happening, because this is
-
what love does. It cares. He then leaned a hand
-
and helped the man up because there was no one
-
else to help him. And this man, if Pastor was
-
not there to help, he could not have helped himself
-
because he's a stroke victim. And he was able to
-
help him by lending in my hand. And then think
-
about the way that you could love around your your
-
your family, your community, or your office place. A man
-
leading leading, how do you lead? Same like this, same
-
like Ada story. Personna walks in this park and I'm
-
not like him. I have to learn. He walks and
-
everybody is saying good morning, good morning. Nobody good morning
-
him back like so of course the all antis are
-
all the anties want to walk in the morning, six o'clock,
-
very dark. Then he good morning, good morning. But there
-
was this one lady who would walk, and then he
-
kept saying good morning to her, and she would never
-
reply him because maybe who's this man saying good morning?
-
Was he trying? He said, But I wasn't saying like,
-
you know, like hey, I want to date you kind
-
of thing like oh my goodness. He was more like
-
good morning, right, and and he kept saying to her.
-
She would never reply until one day she came up
-
to him and said good morning. You know. It changed
-
the environment. So I found out a lot aunties are
-
his friends. My good They don't know he has a wife.
-
That's very pretty okay, So so they always this way.
-
And then so when he dropped the car one day
-
and I was in the car and then he stops
-
to say hi, do all this and these you know, hello,
-
and then then they're looking the car and he's like,
-
who's this lady? And oh he has a wife. Because
-
I never walked with him and do my coreent time
-
in the house, he knows his great time in the park. Okay,
-
so you know you you you create, people make friends,
-
you you lead. They miss you right And then after
-
a while he stopped coming and say where you never
-
come out because you start walking. After that you never
-
could walk anymore. So so love happens like that. When
-
I left my company corporate, they told me, hey, we
-
really miss you. You know, people tell you that there's
-
something missing again, I miss You've not missed you forever,
-
but for that moment they realize, oh you're not here anymore.
-
Your help was was good or your work was good.
-
So that's what love does. Amen. So it's a good
-
building community, whether in your workplace, whether your family, whether
-
it's you know, your church or your pickup all group
-
or whoever you make friends. On my right is there
-
is how you build because we're talking about reaching people
-
and not just they're not a number. They are a
-
person that's worthy of God's love. They have a name,
-
they have an address. They're not just a number to God.
-
He knows their name. Did you bother to look up
-
to someone who passed your table and look at their face?
-
Sometimes dangerous. We're so busy we never look up. Good morning,
-
when never look at people's face. Learn to look at
-
people's face, whether it's a beggar, whether someone asking for
-
arms at the table. Sometimes we don't want to look
-
because we don't know whether you want to give money.
-
But it's good to look because when you look, God
-
touches your heart about something. Amen, so hot. Check have
-
you experienced love in this way before? And secondly, have
-
you shown love like this before? We can always get
-
better at this. The human race needs a little a
-
lot more love and less judgment. But we need to teach.
-
That's why there's discipleship. Don't get upset when you're being discipled. Amen, hallelujah.
-
All right. So, and this word here Zachariah seven nine
-
to ten that says, a lot of hosts, execute true justice,
-
show mercy and compassion. Everyone to his brother. Do not
-
oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor.
-
Let none of you plan evil in his heart against
-
his brother. Amen. So even the Ten Commandments teaches us
-
how to live with each other in the community. Amen.
-
The ten Commandments four first four commandments is how we
-
respond to God. The six commandments is how we so many,
-
you know, six compared to four. God wants us to
-
know how to treat each other. Amen. To be kind
-
to each other because no one else going to be
-
kind to us. We are the human race. Amen. And
-
we work as a team as a community. Do you
-
know that God works as a team. Did you know
-
that who is his team? Members? Three? Father, Son, and
-
the Holy Spirit? Let us let us So, even God
-
is a team. He's not even alone. He's a team. Amen,
-
working together. Amen.
-
So.
-
And then the third the fifth CE is college. The
-
word college means training. We're really into training. That's why
-
I know we're not. We haven't pushed it yet, but
-
this year we're going to make it nice, nice and
-
clearly to you. We do have apps and apps. We
-
call it the ex Pioneers Preparations School. It's like a
-
mini Bible school, our own Bible school. But we have
-
to start somewhere. We're not perfect, love, but we're starting luck.
-
So sometimes you'll say no, I want to join these days,
-
join our Bible school. You know everything, man, you don't
-
know yet, you can learn more small things subjects first. Okay,
-
we want to emphasize on training like never before, because
-
training is important. The more people are trained, the more
-
equipped they're excited, they're confident, they get to do what
-
God has called them to do. Amen. Right. We have
-
made the mistake where we were so excited to get
-
everyone going, we forgot to train them Alama. Then they crashing,
-
but they left Alama. Okay, so we're sorry. We're so
-
sorry we didn't get because I choose Gray very fast.
-
No enough time anybody, we got no time to train.
-
Of course, God's grace on us, not saying we lost
-
a lot of people crashion, but but it can happen
-
when you don't know what to do. So it's important.
-
Like any company, like any anything we do, there's a
-
even you join a club or you know, you join whatever,
-
there's a way to do things. They train you. Right.
-
I just heard yesterday my friend is now a driver
-
in striving instructor. And then she told me she has
-
to go to an academy to be licensed as a
-
driving instructor. She She used to work for the for
-
the air called the not Air Force, the Airlines, the
-
Young Malaysious Air something. No flight, did you, jugga? Where
-
you know your flight got lost? The plane got lost?
-
One you look at the whole thing that the radar
-
air traffic control. Yeah, she's an air traffic control and
-
if she was not on duty that day that plane
-
got lost. Okay. She was really mad. She said, I
-
don't know what the people were doing, all right, but
-
that's her job. So she's retired, right, And so she
-
decided no want to work there anymore and goes to
-
her lunkaey house. And then she says, I'm now a
-
driving instructor. So I said, how do you become driving?
-
He said, I had to go to an academy so
-
that she can teach and instruct. So we assume must
-
have la apps. Okay, okay, it's an Expioneers preparation school
-
where we train you to do different things, all right.
-
So we now have say to our huts, don't send
-
anyone out before training them, amen, because we will do
-
a great injustice to you. I send you out now, goal,
-
I blunt it. I give you nothing. Then, now how
-
to plant? How to plant, right, but watching and learning. Amen.
-
So the end of the goal of training I already
-
said it earlier, is so that we can make disciples.
-
Number two, we will raise leaders. And of course so
-
important to send Daniels out into the marketplace. You are
-
more of you are in the marketplace, less of you
-
in the full time ministry. But now our job is
-
to train you a man to equip people so that
-
they can do God's work. Amen, hallelujah. Okay, So the
-
so what do we have to do? We have these
-
five season the conviction. We have to have the condition,
-
all right. The conviction is I believe, so all right.
-
Now we need to be united in our vision. Okay,
-
we centralize everything. We must follow this is the way
-
to do it. And then we need to cooperate, work together.
-
All right. There's a commitment to get the work done,
-
and we do it together. By God's providing us each other,
-
just the two of us, we can make it right.
-
Remember the song that you remember? All right? Then we
-
need the community. People matter, and we want to build
-
a strong, safe community so that we can serve we
-
can do things together, not alone. Amen. And then we
-
need in the community when you know, Okay, y'all know this.
-
When a lot of people involved, communication has to go up,
-
and sometimes we forgot to communicate. I'm guilty of that.
-
Sometimes you expect you to know. Actually I should just
-
say it clearly and then people will understand. And they
-
don't understand, then we explain again. If they don't get it,
-
we explain again, and then you really cannot I don't know. Okay,
-
walcome type, Okay, I drop a picture for you, all right?
-
And then lastly we talk about the training the college. Amen,
-
So we can do this. So it's a step by
-
step thing that we want to and we are doing
-
it right now, just unpacking the vision to tell you
-
where God has led us from and where we are
-
hated to. So we're talking so much about discipleship. What
-
are the ingredients to discipleship? Three? Biblically, there are three ingredients?
-
How do you make disciples? What you say? How are
-
you asked us to make disciples? Only three ingredients? Only three?
-
My samba black chain got more ingredients?
-
You know?
-
Okay? Only three ingredients? All right? The basic one number
-
one Jesus says, follow me, Amen. The most powerful words
-
in discipleship is followed me. But so many of us
-
are so scared elate follow me. I'm not perfect anyway,
-
always say I'm not perfect. I know perfect. Don't follow me,
-
all right, But Jesus said, this is discipleship. Come follow me?
-
Whoa discipleship is not about following a program because a
-
lot of people and all over all judges I every okay,
-
just talking about the Christian community. They want to know
-
what book? What book I read in the disciplership new
-
people join ext church? First of what when I introduced huddles,
-
our Hoddle system means our discipleship system that we go through.
-
And what book? No, no Bible, Bible, Bible, I don't
-
use another men's book. Is it a book? Is it
-
a program? What kind of program? Ten weeks program, eleven
-
weeks program? No, it's life long, okay. It's about people
-
following people, it is. I mean, I don't know. I
-
have I have twelve ladies or so. I don't know
-
if they're following me. Do you need Gloria's one of them,
-
Lane's one of them, at least on them. I don't know.
-
I don't know if they follow me. Oh not not
-
how I dress I hope you han, but but how
-
I do something, maybe how to treat other people. So
-
discipleships follow me. Maybe we've never said it, said Dotter
-
followed me. So shy to say, right, but we need
-
to say it. As I follow Christ, follow me and
-
we teach this right. We know how to do something
-
because we have seen others do it, all right, So
-
it's about watching. I want to tell you thirty years
-
twenty five years ago when we started ex Church, Bus
-
and I were just in our twenties. We left a
-
very big home church that we've been part of. We love,
-
they love us, and then they sent us out. When
-
we planted the church. Do you think there was a
-
manual on how to plant the church? There was no manual,
-
but we did everything by watching our leaders, my eldest,
-
my pastors. So how should we do church? Well that
-
there were things that we learned, and then there was
-
a Bible X chapter two. This is how you're going
-
to do it. Have communion, have small groups, amen, pray
-
all that share. I'll bread it together. This is how
-
you chair the meeting. I had to come away, oh, okay,
-
whatever you're chairing or this is someone they did Auntie
-
all right. So we had to come up with a
-
whole system to do it, But how do you do it?
-
By watching? So I want to invite you to observe.
-
Don't sleep in a service. Watch because one day you're
-
going to do something in your company, in your you
-
know club that you're an. I don't know, you're part
-
of some club or something. I don't know. All right,
-
you sleep, then you cannot observe. Then you don't know
-
what the pastor said. Don't know what they do because
-
half the time you're sleeping. It's not a place to sleep.
-
Change the place. Are you the listen? Hey follow me? Yes,
-
that's why Saturday night might sleep a bit earlier, a
-
bit earlier. Okay, don't play games, watch movie, watch Goordon drama.
-
You want to finish the number twenty second? Hey, go lively? Okay,
-
So you can come to church and I keep away.
-
All right, then you learn so's I'm not. I don't
-
know what they learn. They when to change. Mothers will
-
tell me. You know, my y'all go to church every
-
they never learned anything. Come back, say one because I'm
-
the pastor have to watch?
-
Why?
-
Why?
-
Why they never change? Oh? Playing a hand phone? I'm
-
not listening or sleeping? Okay, all right that we know
-
how to do something because we have seen we're watching
-
at this. You know how I learned to do expresso
-
by watching expresso. Elena has been expressed for a long time,
-
and I watch. That's how I do food now, right,
-
at least doing espresso. No, right, we're not even expressive people,
-
but she's cooking, and then you make pretty pet We
-
don't just even no dry biscuit in ex church. There's
-
no such thing as if there is. Please tell me
-
I will do expresso for you. Okay, we watch. I
-
watch all these ladies do. Wow, the rotico song can
-
become rotique kaya and then look pretty pretty? Well, then
-
looks so pretty. You don want to eat? Are you
-
but hungry? So you eat? So we watch you learn.
-
I learn you learn to dress up because you see
-
your pastor dressing up. You didn't wear shots, wear slippers.
-
Why am I bossa dressed over? Okay, can so dress?
-
I learned by watching You've been watching, and that's how
-
you learn. All of us do that. How we learn
-
how watch our mother? Anyone youonia please watch your grandma,
-
your mom coke because so it's a dying art. Now
-
there's a dying art to cook this and cook yo.
-
I want to find book as or don't have? No
-
your mother what don't know what means choo chow? Food?
-
Learn?
-
Learn? Wow? How you have to stay there watch and
-
then only you learn? Yeah, you have to. How do
-
I see be a lost art to or not? Why
-
we lost some of our tradition because nobody teaches us?
-
And okay not nobody. Grandma was willing to teach us
-
by her way of teaching. I just cannot cannot you cannot,
-
she tell you, right, all mothers do that. And but
-
so we must stand there and watch, never watching. Follow
-
me how I do it? You follow me? Amen? Number two,
-
Feed my sheep. This is this ingredient for disciple ship.
-
We must continue to feed our sheep. Continue to teach
-
God's word, share God's word, discuss God's word. God's word
-
not a book, not somebody's book alone. We need to
-
refer the word of God. We need to study God's word,
-
and we want to present God's word to you. Amen, hallelujah.
-
So this is but feeding God. That's what Jesus said.
-
Please feed my sheep. Fit is to teach them, teach
-
them what I taught you teach them my word that
-
I've left for you. Get and thirdly, be vicious of men. Wow,
-
oh oh, just feed me. Now I gotta go and
-
fish for men. You see, if Jesus didn't say it,
-
that we all can run away. But Jesus said, come
-
follow me and I will make you fishes of men.
-
Who So what you cannot sit down and just be happy?
-
All right? That song doesn't work. Just be happy for yourself,
-
be happy, don't worry. Be happy. Okay, okay, you don't
-
want to be happy, but you cannot stay there for yourself.
-
Now he says, come and come and be fishes of men.
-
So we cannot just get spiritually fat and only be
-
on the receiving end. But we must exercise a faith
-
by giving, by acting on it through disciple ship. So
-
when we disciple everyone one the other one to the
-
other one, we we we learned. Oh, I can also
-
do this. Thank you for teaching me. Now I do
-
it to this person. This person is doing it down
-
the line, down the line, And that's how you can
-
win that one person. I'm in the same boat with you.
-
I'm not talking at you and tell you I very clever. No,
-
I learning together with you. I also have to be
-
a vicious of men. We have to be a witness
-
for Jesus. Amen. We have the five ws in next church.
-
What is it? First? One worldshep world works and the
-
final w is witness very weaker. We already going to
-
three fours. Not bad, but the witness are very shy.
-
Yesterday someone I think we were talking to Elliott, and
-
then we said, when I was young, I went door
-
to door about eighteen nineteen years old. My pastor in
-
the church that I was in, he trained all of
-
us to do door to door witnessing. So we are
-
we are, we are churches in this community. He target
-
to witness to every house who I just knew Christian. Okay,
-
and we have to witness in Cantonese or English or
-
man ring. So we go house to house. Then the
-
pink all knock, knock, pink all pink, call me okay,
-
so we know, we go door to door. I had
-
to be officials of men. I just accept the Christ.
-
But now after learning the little that I had, I
-
was going out to make disciples. And three of us
-
will go out together, and I was telling them that
-
I met. We knock knocked, and then this young man
-
opened the door. I was eighteen nineteen thereabout. He is
-
so about that age, and he led us in and
-
we led him to Christ because he was in a
-
Saint John's Institution school. I said, oh, my cousin is
-
in that school. And we talked and then I don't know,
-
he accepted Christ right, and then God bless you, here's
-
the Bible. We left. And then thirty years later I
-
meet him in the UMC and he says, do you
-
remember me? He remembered me, means my face never changed, okay,
-
all right, still nineteen all right. And then he goes, hey,
-
I'm sorry so and I said, oh my gosh, so
-
good to see you. And I'm saying, he's so happy
-
I'm serving in DMC. Yeah, I'm here and I've been
-
serving since the day you shared the gospel. You know,
-
I'm now a fall of Christ. I'm like, yay, right,
-
so this chap and that's it and bye bye, praise
-
so happy and then I go off. And then just
-
last last year, in November, I went for our ex
-
UK camp. Sorry, I'm gonna take a long time, and
-
went to camp and then this young man walks up
-
to me and he says, you led my father to
-
the Lord. And I said, which man did I lead?
-
I never simply play with any man. Ohokay, only married
-
to one man. I had a lot of boyfriends, but
-
I don't remember leading them to Christ. They were already Christian.
-
And they said my dad. I said, oh my gosh,
-
you so and so son, and you look like your father.
-
And then he says, I'm here now in next church
-
and I just graduated and I'm working and i'm serving.
-
He's on the worship team. And he says, I've got
-
a brother. I said, whoa, you got more than one,
-
you got three sons. And he said, I said, please
-
tell your dad. Hi, I'm so happy to meet the sun.
-
And so, you know, someone is forty oo years and
-
you get this next generation. And then his brother brings
-
another guy to church. And this young boy walks up
-
to my husband and goes like hYP passing Kenna. You
-
don't know me, but I know you. And and he
-
says and he says, my dad is Ray and Ray
-
Ray so and so, and oh I'm his son. And
-
he says, my dad was in your cell group forty
-
or four years ago. Fortunately the young dad dad that
-
left christ. Top banker, top banker, in one of the
-
Southeast Asian country's top banker. He really climbed the ladder,
-
but he gave up Jesus and his son's told his
-
friend and said, I have not been to church since
-
I was a child. I'm so happy to come to
-
church today. And he said, I said, you gotta come,
-
keep coming. So I gotta find out whether he's still coming.
-
He goes he has a brother as well, and they
-
want to get the older brother. And they're brilliant students,
-
brilliant students at top universities. But you know, we could lose.
-
We can lose our salvation be if we're just chasing
-
after things. But watching follow me, feed my sheep right,
-
and then fear fishes of men. Amen, you have to
-
be witnesses for Christ. Maybe some people don't believe that
-
in all, I don't think so I need to witness. Well,
-
I don't need to do anything else. Bible says, just
-
be a witness for me. Can you tell someone about
-
what you experience? Amen? Two foundational things that we and
-
our disciples must know as we disciple is the great
-
commandment to love the Lord your God with all of
-
your heart, with all of your soul, with all of
-
your mind, with all of your strength and mark. And
-
then the great commandment is that to love God. Greatest commandment.
-
First commandment is to love God. But then another commandment
-
is the great commission is to make disciples of all nations.
-
And right go into the world and make disciples. So
-
so every disciple should know these two commandments. And what
-
is the common word for both of these two verses?
-
The word all Amen, All, all right, all is what
-
is going to take. All is what is going to
-
take us to get this done. Amen. So we coin
-
the word pasts coin is before small small, So from
-
small to mall we'll take all. So the all right,
-
we grow small, all right, and to grow from small
-
to mall, and then to reach all the spelling there
-
all right, growing small too big. We need all our people,
-
all the talents, times and resources to reach people. Amen.
-
And we are small, We're not big. But it takes
-
from the little to the become big. Amen. So all, Oh,
-
God wants all of us involved if we are willing.
-
So if those who have ears to hear you hear
-
God's word, then you act on it. I'm also that
-
disciple that someone shared the gospel to someone discipled me
-
and and there you are. I am here. I'm knocking
-
door to door to door, and this one soul is
-
still in law today. And that proof for me is such.
-
It was such a highlight for me that I'm looking
-
at the second generation and I hope he's when he
-
gets married his children. Oh, that will be awesome. Just
-
because we went door to door and this young man
-
opened the door of because the sun said to the
-
dead dead, why did you open the door stranger? He said, Oh,
-
I saw a pretty girl, so I let her in.
-
But I wasn't alone. I had friends. Okay, pretty face
-
can help also, Okay, all right, so everyone counts. Everyone counts,
-
everything counts. All our gift things count. I can do something.
-
Somethings I can't do. You can do. So we need you. Amen.
-
So let's give God all using everything we have to
-
make sure that everyone we have is on board. This
-
is the vision that God has given to us. What
-
the one thousand people that God has given us, who
-
want to see every person able to multiply, able to
-
make a disciple reach someone. Don't worry about the how,
-
and you be ready. That's all the Lord's asking us.
-
Can you prepare can you get ready? Are you able
-
to say yes to the Lord? Amen? So question how
-
many people do you have in your homes, in your huddle,
-
in your family? Okay, you write their names down? How
-
many people? So each of them are precious a man?
-
How can we encourage them to use their talent or
-
their skills, or their time or their gifts or you know,
-
how can we do this? We all can have a
-
part to play a man. Not one person should be
-
left out because everyone counts. Amen. Hey, I encourage you.
-
If you ever felt that, you say, are you Nobody
-
want to employ me? Nobody wants me? Everybody hates me.
-
I'm gonna eat some worms. Not true? God wants you.
-
He wants to employ you. Okay, somebody might not want you,
-
but God wants you. Thank God, God wants me, you know,
-
and employed me. You know, I think a lot, but
-
the one mere and I all the students say you
-
if I God still have mercy on me, and says Sandra,
-
learn learn, learn to talk Betterla, don't put high boys. Okay,
-
all right, excite that voice. So thank God God wants
-
to employ you. And tell you what God wants to
-
employ you? Hey, come on, if he wants to employ,
-
Please say yes and work for him. Amen. How do
-
we do this discipleship? How there are four e's. You
-
had five seas, Now you got four e's. All right,
-
and we and we use this and we do this.
-
Maybe we can even do more of this to the
-
leaders here and to all of us. Actually, all of
-
us can do this. The first is to educate, right, educate.
-
I do you watch? So I'm preaching now, so you're
-
watching me preach? I do you watch? Equip I do
-
you help? So now you can't come five minutes? Well, okay,
-
so I do you help? She said? And the next
-
day I encourage you? You do? I help you. I
-
share the five minutes, when you share the forty minutes,
-
and then empower you do I watch? I mean apprenticeship
-
that will happened a carpenter or plumber. You know these
-
are very good skills. You know you're not low. You
-
know they earn very much. In Australia, they learn, they
-
charge us a lot. That's why I put finger you
-
my great to Australia. Poor Youla. You do yourself, ah,
-
because you don't want to pay the plumber who will
-
charge you two hundred usie dollars just to come and
-
touch your plumbing, your tech Malaysia we call the Indonesian
-
and brother following it. Hey lima pluring it. Hey see
-
see all these excuse Amen. So what you learn from
-
your parents, you learn from others. I educate. That's why
-
I said when we come to church, open your eyes, observe,
-
don't sleep. Unfortunately in this we're all living in this
-
general in this season. Now lives. Wait we are. We
-
have the handphone with us, and the handphone is constantly
-
taking the king, and then we are looking at it.
-
And then are you somebody asked questions we have to
-
answer now all right? Right of course it's called s
-
M S short messaging the system. Right, quickly replied, So
-
we cannot somebody teaches something I didn't learn. I mean
-
it happened to me, all right, But we're supposed to educate.
-
I do you watch equip Okay? Now I do your help?
-
Cannot Now? I encourage you? Ah you do? I help you,
-
and then later I empower you. You go ahead and do.
-
I'll watch you and cheer you. Amen, hall Helluijah, Amen,
-
we we you know we people matter, all right, Disciples,
-
watch Jesus, and they did the same thing. You know
-
how Jesus raised the little girl who was dead. Peter
-
did the same thing because he saw how Jesus did,
-
and he did it. So sometimes when we are I
-
don't I don't get to do it always here, but
-
on the mission feel it happens people with unclean spirit,
-
people who are possessed, and then they go there and
-
I'm scared. I do know how to do. Let me
-
tell each other. We got no time to don't know
-
how to do. What did Jesus do? I do what
-
Jesus do in Jesus' name, and you commanded to get out.
-
It has to come out. Do you believe in Jesus name.
-
So Jesus was doing all this, He and his disciples
-
followed him. They went with him to his house. They
-
ate with him. They saw how he slept, They saw
-
how he prayed. They said, teach us to pray. They
-
saw the closer in a group, saw how he you know,
-
raise the dead whenever that he did, how he taught,
-
how he spoke. They watched. So Jesus really was teaching
-
his disciples. Today's same with us. I also learned from
-
someone really A lot of things because I watched I
-
watched my pastors, I watch my leaders, my elders. How
-
did they do a benediction. I don't simply do a benediction,
-
but do it with faith and belief and say it. Well,
-
not I trained the chair person, but I don't always
-
get to train everyone. No, no, I don't give you
-
a benedicio. All right, I'll say it with authority. And
-
the word of God has gone for no returned to
-
us void? Why you watch the person? Do it? Do
-
and teach? Very important, do and teach a man. This
-
is only God's formula Bible. Everything we are doing is
-
in the Bible. We just want to follow what Jesus did, right,
-
don't just teach, I teach, I teach, but I don't
-
do so. No, good luck. I teach, I teach. He
-
you do our witnessing whitness, But I don't do. How
-
to follow me? All right? And then don't just do
-
I do?
-
I do?
-
I do, But I never teach you how the tools
-
we got to do. And this is how Jesus did it.
-
And it's in scripture. You can read it in acts.
-
Do and teach. That's how Jesus taught us. It's scriptural.
-
All right, in discipleship, Jesus did his disciple watch in
-
doing you are the role model, and people are following you.
-
I think all of us are looking for a hero,
-
a role model. We always we are looking. Don't know,
-
we don't say it. But the way you are dressed today,
-
the way you are doing certain things, you have a
-
role model. Where there's the Korean chap or the Korean girl,
-
or the Japanese boy or the Japanese girl or is
-
it the costplay one? Are you my god? All right? Whatever,
-
you have a hero, you are role modeling that person. Right,
-
So do and teach what are you discipling? All right?
-
Create a visual for others to watch the right thing,
-
the right thing? Okay, we all learned. Okay, So it
-
is an investment. It is an investment. If you ask me,
-
what person my time have been all these times? Actually
-
we are not doing anything of our own A lot
-
a lot of times you're spending with people, but you
-
don't realize the people we are. We don't realize when
-
we're talking. Do you think I'm just talking on actually investing?
-
Watch why he's saying this to us? How is he saying?
-
I watched my ass every time he counsel someoney. I'm
-
watching because I know that he really is led off
-
the lot to do given And I'm like, I've never
-
heard such a thing before. Wow, so clever. And then
-
and then it's true. How did you know? I'm like, oh, man,
-
he spends so much time praying and seeking the Lord.
-
And then he comes up with he say. I'm like,
-
sometimes I don't believe, but he's real. No, it's true, oops, Jesus.
-
So it is an investment. I'm spending time with people's
-
an investment. Hanging out. Sometimes Sometimes you we say you
-
want going and spend time with your past. You don't.
-
You should want to, You should wet your pascity, your house.
-
We can share with you more things. Yes, but you
-
know it's a lifetime investment. Amen. The best investment that
-
you can make is in another life. Really, he's just
-
invested in twelve men, that's all. The most time he
-
spent was the twelve, and then the inner circle was
-
the three. Still we lost one, not by his choice.
-
He loved him, He loved him, he would have given him.
-
Investment is a lifetime thing that we do. But it
-
will be the best investment. It'll come back checking together
-
running over.
-
Four.
-
So if I look back now as a nineteen year old,
-
I should have been studying for my Form six. But
-
I was out there on Sunday afternoon after church being trained,
-
and after training go out there. That was time. Probably
-
my mom would say time needed and you should have studied,
-
But no, I was out there just a new Christian
-
on here. I just became a griztia and going door
-
to door that investment of time and the the faith
-
to knock on somebody's door. A few people's doors we knock.
-
But this person now back forty years later is saying
-
to me, he's serving the Lord. He's not left Jesus.
-
Then his children are serving the Lord. Man. I mean,
-
this young man is twenty three to twenty four, he's
-
gonna get married one day. I hope his children will
-
serve the lot. But can you look at this investment.
-
It was time on a Saturday, on a Sunday afternoon.
-
I could have gone back to sleep, but pastors say,
-
come be trained. And we're all small church, like this church,
-
and we all were now like he thinks us. You
-
know old houses, and you like old houses around to
-
do that. Okay, my pastor said, we're gonna hit this
-
this area. We're gonna reach every house. I'm like, okay,
-
I really don't know how big this housing area is,
-
but we'll do it. And we broke up like this
-
number of people, three by three by three. We went out.
-
Some of us spokesmen can I was spoke English, and
-
that's how he went out. Those days, nobody spoke men
-
only got one high school conching Mendrin. The rest or teach,
-
we ask help people who is we can tollow? I
-
have to share law, share in gandonese, share in English.
-
That investment of time, I didn't know it's many years
-
after it's forty years after that. I'm meeting the young
-
boy whose father opened the door to us. He invested
-
time to hear us, and now I meet all his sons.
-
So I want to say that some things you do
-
might say I was really cramping my style. I want
-
to do this. But if the lot give you an
-
opportunity ticket, you never know what it could be. I
-
don't know what it will be. You never know things.
-
After years later, you see the the growth. Amen may
-
not see this immediately. Amen, So oh yeah, watch how
-
to lead the Bible study how to chair, how to
-
how to say grace, how to give thanks for the offering?
-
In homes, we get people involved, right, and then you watch.
-
Maybe you didn't have a good teacher, liar, no one
-
to follow, Lauren. That's how I raised leaders. That's how
-
I managed to raise leaders in the last home sales
-
leading and like, okay, you do this, and you do that,
-
Now I help you do it again. Now do that?
-
Is it? You're leaving us? I said, that is the
-
whole point. So that I will plan a new home
-
and I will race more leaders, is it? And so
-
now my leaders there to put your homes there. They're
-
not perfect, but I had to empower them. They had
-
to watch me and they will do their best. Yaday
-
care amen? Amen? So guys that this part three really
-
is about discipleship. You can disciple someone and you yourself,
-
are you being discipled? Watch that person? Who is that
-
person that you have allowed yourself to follow? Amen? And
-
then and then there's the follow me. There's a feed
-
my sheep, and be vicious of men. All of us
-
cannot just sit here and receive and do nothing. We
-
must do something. The Lord has given us something in
-
our hands to do. What is it. You have a talent,
-
you have a skill, you have money because it's treasure.
-
You have time. Time is a commodity now hah. You
-
know who is eating your time? Every time you're scrolling.
-
It's in economy. Somebody else is making money from your time.
-
It's something economy I forgot. I taught it to the students.
-
Time it's your it's an economy. Somebody else is making
-
passive money out of your time. And you don't even
-
want the product, but you just have to see it.
-
So you should consolidate your time saying what's more important
-
to me? I go and do this. I'm gonna spend
-
time with this person. I'm gonna take the kids out
-
with You know, there's so many young people or the
-
children in our church. Let's take them out and does
-
elands that the young moms and all that. So you
-
take your time, you invest. You never know what birth
-
out of it. But we're just doing because God has
-
given us the ability to do it. Amen, Praise the
-
Lord over time already. Okay, hard check. Have you been watching?
-
Have you been watching What What to be learning? If
-
I'm watching, what did I learn? And how can I
-
repeat it? Okay? How can I repeat it? Watch learn repeat, Amen,
-
Watch learn repeat, Hallelujah. We can do this, Jesus jeez,
-
it's all the word of God. It's all in the
-
Word of God. When we're breaking it down now to
-
show us step by step the ingredients of discipleship, how
-
we can be disciples and how we can disciple. At
-
this it's not that I'm great that you follow me.
-
I'm following Jesus. You can follow me. You I follow Jesus,
-
you can follow me, and later someone else will follow you.
-
But we are trying to get our lives aligned to
-
the Word of God a man Amen, Hea, Amen can.
-
So we educate, we equip, we encourage, you empower all right.
-
So when we are and we're equipping you all right,
-
because one day you will be empowered and you will
-
do it and you will do very very well. Amen.
-
Come Hallelujah. Let's close, and we're going to just pray
-
and just commit what we heard today to the Lord. Amen.
-
So church, come stand with me. I'm gonna ask you today.
-
Yes it was. It's about discipleship, and so you you
-
know in ex we did the whole year last year
-
to align that everyone can come into discipleship. If you
-
haven't ask yourself you know, why aren't you in discipleship?
-
And who are you discipling? Nobody? Do you want to
-
disciple someone? You can because I just we just gave
-
you the three there Amen. But more important, I want
-
to ask you as you lift up your hands the lot,
-
come on, lift up your hands O the Lord and
-
you say Lord you I want you to ask yourself,
-
I eye clothes. What's in your hands? Church? What do
-
you have? What is God given to you? You know
-
some of you have the most beautiful smile. God has
-
given you a beautiful set of teeth and a beautiful smile.
-
That smile can be used to be a blessing, a
-
host or smile more. Don't frown God, God is blessed
-
you with a beautiful smile. What do you have in
-
your hands today? Amen? Do you have a gift? Do
-
you have a talent? Are you the person who has
-
a gift of the gap means you're very good at
-
connecting and talking to people. Use that gift to slowly
-
share your experience of Christ in your life, or you know,
-
being able to be bold and ask people how are they?
-
How can you pray for them? What is in your hand,
-
brother sisters, beloved of the Lord. God has given you something. Amen.
-
And I want to ask you to consider, to surrender
-
and be willing to be used by the Lord. Amen,
-
so that you can touch another's life. Hallelujah, Thank you Lord, Hallelujah,
-
Thank you Jesus. Lord, Just speak to our hearts as
-
we speak to you, holding up our hands and lifting
-
up what we know that You've given to us. And
-
every time we invest our time, our talent or our treasure,
-
it multiplies and it keeps multiplying, and it keeps multiplying. Lord.
-
We don't hide our gift. We don't hide ourselves. We look.
-
I mean some of us need to look at that
-
person that God has brought to your office, or when
-
you're eating. Sometimes when you look, you might see a need.
-
Because God wants everyone nobody is to be alone to
-
work a law. You know, the foreigner, the refugee, the fatherless,
-
the widow, come on, you know, just people who might
-
be different from you. But if you would just look,
-
God would give you a word for them, a kind act,
-
an act of kindness, act of kindness, and a word Speak.
-
And I want to encourage you to speak even into
-
your own life. Speak life, not death. Speak hope and
-
not close doors. Amen, Speak peace and not chaos. Don't
-
be negative about things. Jesus says, out of our you know,
-
the Word of God says out of our lips our
-
tongue comes death or life, Life or death. We can
-
be speaking life or death. Would you prophesy life? Then?
-
Would you prophesy peace over those hearts that need peace.
-
That's why I'm asking you to look at your hands.
-
What is God given to you and all of us
-
have been given when I'm out, Amen, And that we
-
can choose to fill our hearts with God's word so
-
that we can speak into our present and speak into
-
our future. Speak into the doors that are closed that
-
they might be open. Speak into our bodies that are
-
needing healing to declare that health and life is ours.
-
Speak into our brokenness so that there will be healing. Amen, Hallelujah.
-
Speak into the confusion and say, confusion, you do not
-
have a place in my life. I declare clarity, and
-
the Word of God says as freedom in Jesus' name. Amen, hallelujah.
-
Prophesy into your circumstances in the name of Jesus. In
-
the name of Jesus. As you look at your hands
-
this morning. If that's you and you're saying, yes, Lord,
-
I just want to surrender my gift, my time, Lord,
-
my treasure. Or you're saying Laura and surrender my mouth
-
to you. Maybe I've not been speaking all the positive words,
-
but I'm learning today that there is a God in
-
heaven who can use me to speak to those who
-
have not heard about him, or who are confused, who
-
are lost, and there are people who are down. I
-
could be that voice that will lift them up. If
-
that's you, you want to just surrender your gift, you
-
want to surrender. Perhaps you're going through a challenge, but
-
today you have that authority in Christ. Lift up your
-
need before the Lord and just say Lo, I'm going
-
to speak life, I'm going to speak healing. Ready, one, two,
-
and three hands, lift it up. If there is a need,
-
you're just being humble before the Lord. Just surrender to Jesus.
-
Maybe you're saying Lord, yes, I recognize what you're saying. Lord,
-
use me, Lord, and I don't have to do this alone.
-
I can do this with you. Hans lift it up
-
across this room, saying yes, Jesus, teach me. Lord, you
-
have spoken in your word, help me be a witness.
-
I want to be a fisher of men because you
-
save me, and I can now be that vessel in
-
the name Aim of Jesus. Hans lifted up all across
-
this room. As the Lord sees your heart, he sees you. Amen,
-
he knows your name, he knows you, and he has
-
given you all the goodness that Heaven has so that
-
you can be used by the Lord. Amen. Thank you Jesus.
-
Hens lifted up. We're just going to declare, Father, in
-
the name of Jesus, thank you for the gifts that
-
are in this room, even this very life. These lives
-
are gifts, Lord, Our lives are gifts to one another,
-
as encourage us, as supports us, as someone who will
-
teach another person so that they can learn and we
-
can learn. Father. Thank you. Hans are lifted up, our
-
hearts represented crying out to you, calling out to you,
-
saying yes to you, saying I surrender, saying Lord, use me, Lord,
-
use my mouth, Lord, so that I will speak life
-
at the right time. I will speak a word in
-
season to those who need it. Thank you Lord, that
-
we'll be bold and courageous to speak the word of life.
-
Thank you, Lord, Thank you Lord, Father, that there will
-
be within us, Father, just a courage and bonus to
-
be a witness for you, Lord, to be a fisher
-
of men. Lord, you place us in our office. You
-
place this Lord in our school, university. You place us
-
in our family in or even the community groups that
-
we're in, or the games or whatever we do lot
-
outside of our church life. Lord, that we are there
-
for a purpose. Or Lord God, use as father hands
-
head lifting up to you, are saying to you the
-
heart cry and our you know. Lord, we are scared,
-
but you are our strength, and you our courage. And
-
we find confidence in you in the name of Jesus
-
as we surrender. Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus, hallelujah. Just worship.
-
In hell Heaven, Hell, Lord be your name, need of
-
your ma see.
-
King of fog Loy, how with the hostess we see
-
Holy Holy your Kingdom. Come to let you be Din,
-
set a fire a.
-
Lor weep, pray heavy away Kingdom, come worm, let you
-
we be done. Set a fire.
-
Ah, Lord, we pray.
-
Have be arway, have your way, Jesus, have your way,
-
we say to the Lord, Lord, have your way.
-
Have your way, Lord, Lord, you see our hearts. Have
-
your way. Let your kingdom come. Let your will be
-
done in our lives, Lord, as it is in heaven,
-
so that we can be the vessels of blessing Lord,
-
that you can speak through, that you can use to
-
really shine your light. Thank you Jesus, hallelujah. Receive that today, Church,
-
and really just be ready for the Lord to use you.
-
And you know anytime it's a good time, and just
-
speak it that the right time God will use you. Amen, hallelujah. Amen.
-
And right now with every hit bout, every eye close,
-
you know, if there's anyone here either you've never had
-
a chance to accept Christ, to know Christ and to
-
call Him as your personal Lord, Savior, the one who
-
loves you. Today's opportunity. If your heart is stirred up
-
and you never had a chance for yourself, not because
-
you know someone else is following Christ, but for yourself
-
to say that I want to follow Jesus. It will
-
be a privilege for us to pray together with you
-
to receive Christ. Or if you are here and you've
-
been far from the Lord, only you know how far
-
you are because of the busyness of life because of disappointments.
-
But your heart is stirred up to return to Jesus today,
-
like to renew your faith again in Christ, to receive
-
him again. Like yes, Lord, I just want to rededicate
-
my life. Today also is a great day. I wait
-
opportunity for you to give your heart to the Lord. Amen.
-
And we always take these three simple steps. We want
-
to be able to help you to take these steps.
-
The first is to admit that you need God, and
-
it's been tough those of you been away. You saying
-
I need you Jesus. Number two is that you believe
-
that Jesus died on the cross for us to forgive
-
us of our sins, because we could not forgive ourselves.
-
Nobody has taken our sins, but Jesus has and given
-
us new life when we accept him. And thirdly is
-
to say, Lord, I want to commit my life to you.
-
I call upon your name and Lord, come into my life. Amen.
-
These are the three steps you can take if you
-
want to. You're saying, yes, I admit that I need God.
-
I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me
-
to forgive me of my sins. Forgive me and I
-
want to commit my life to you Jesus. If that
-
is you this morning and you want to take this
-
step of faith, amen, I want to invite you to
-
say this prayer that's on screen, to repeat after me
-
as I lead you in prayer. And if you say
-
this prayer with all of your heart, Jesus will come
-
in to live in you and to be your master,
-
your best friend, the one who wants to employ you,
-
who wants you to be your best friend. Amen. And
-
so if you're ready, we asked the whole church to
-
pray this together to support that one person. If there
-
is somebody who has yet to receive Christ or wants
-
to rededicate your life, you can say this prayer together
-
with us, Amen, repeating after me. So, Church, will you
-
do this together all of us? Ready? Here we go.
-
Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for your love for me
-
and for dying on the cross. Please forgive me of
-
my sins, wash me clean by your precious blood, and
-
come and live in my heart. Fill me now with
-
your Holy spirit and teach me your ways. I now
-
live to worship you and please you in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Now,
-
if you have prayed this prayer with all of your heart.
-
Would you please tell your friend who brought you, or
-
to any one of our leaders with our tags, and
-
we will help you with some material. We have the
-
New Believer's Pack that we can share with you to
-
deepen your walk with Jesus, to encourage you again. Amen,
-
it's the best choice you've done today. If you haven't
-
had and you did this prayer, you believe that Jesus
-
has come into your heart. Please let someone know we
-
are here to walk with you. Amen. So the Lord
-
bless you and a great start to the year. Have
-
an amazing, amazing January. Amen, God bless you. Thank you
-
so much. Amen.
