Unpacking the vision of Acts Church Session 5 | Pr Matthew

We hope this message will light up your day.

Go strange it because there's a few things I want

to cover, but I want I don't want to make

sure that I give it justice and not rushing it through. So,

how many of you are new if we're here for

the last session for the session four before most of

you were here, Okay, Just We're just gonna do some

brief recabs and then I'm gonna refer mainly to my

slides as well to go through it. And yeah, I'm

gonna go through there as well. Okay. So we of

course there are the seven piece that we talked about, okay,

and we are actually at the plan okay. And so

if you are new, we are still in the We

are in the midst of this UH six part series

of unpacking the vision of X Church. And of course

there are seven piece. I'm not gonna go through all

the piece, but you know the different piece and then

which they want the key areas is actually talking about

the plan and our we have downloaded the vision from

UH from Pastor Kenna who receive it from the Lord

as well. UH. And then basically in keeping sure, we

want to you know, make sure that uh, the glory

of the Lord is all covering all the earth. And

we as a church, uh and members of the church

as leaders as well, we have to do our part.

And how do we break down and how do we

implement this call into our lives as well? Okay, so

talk about the implementation. So just so very quick recap

of the previous sessions. So with the unpacking of the

vision thus far, So what are you saying or what

are we saying? And you know, if you talk about

the three ls, you know it quite in a way

very uh compactly summarizes the things that we are very

passionate and what we need, which is, first of all,

we are very passionate about the loss. Okay. You know

there's one of the major reasons why we are have

not been you know, lifted up back to you know,

reunite with our heavily father yet but we are still

place here. We are place here so that we're not

just looking for a job. We are placers, or that

we feel a purpose you get me, right, there's a

reason why we we're here for a purpose, not for

a job, okay. And the purpose is you know, to

reach out to as many people as we can. Uh,

And to do that we need laborers and we need

leaders as well. And okay, so we have a we

have a purpose, we have the work for us, but

we also need a very important secret ingredient, which is

what we call the leaven as well. Okay, the leaven

is like I call it the starter. You know, how

many of you bake? You don't make anyone? Why's so shy?

Bikers like that? You know, your hands too heavy to bake?

If you bake, you know, you know what? It's a starter.

You know if you bake sour door, you know you

know someone you know? Like No, the starter is is

what is special once unique that gives your your your pastry,

the character and the uniqueness as well the leaven. Okay.

And we need all these three to come together, to

work together to live for God and to allow us

to fulfill God's purpose. And then we also ask about

what are we doing to live on God's diet for

us as ex church. And this is in reference to

not any diet, not guito diet, not intermittent fast thing.

You know, he is talking about Daniel's diet. Okay, Daniel's diet.

Is that Why did he do the diet? Was it

because he realized that he is not twenty kilos overweight?

You know, he when he Pharaoh say hey, you know

you've got too much body fat composition. No, he needed

a diet because he was a foreigner in a foreign land,

but called to be God's weetness as well. And so

you and I in a way, we are all like

Daniels as well. We are foreigners in a foreign No,

let's right, but we are also called to not just

be like the world. We are called to live specifically

for the Lord, you know, I mean right, even when

things seems dark or seems difficult, we are also called

to live for the Lord. And one of the things

things that Daniel practiced where he caught from the law,

is something that we can also follow, which is his diet,

which he lived for God. And because of the diet,

it allowed God allowed the world to see a distinction

between Daniel and the world, and through Daniel they can

see God's glory working in him as well. And see

what I'm saying, that's that's the principle by that, Okay,

then we talked about the next line is that living

by the power of the tithe, which is what I'm

going to spend a bit of time on and then

you know, maybe about twenty percent of time on this okay,

living by the power of the tithe and what that

actually means. And it's actually a very important secret to

past the Cannef's legacy and what he is emulated in

his life, what he's caught in his life, and how

he's seen so much blessings and power and revelation coming

through this very important principle. Okay, And so now let's

go through some of the principle and where the past

then got this idea of tithing, okay, and also expand

our un standing on what tithing means as well. So

the tithing it started in you know, the Garden of

Eden and said, oh, garden, you don't have to give

money a really got bank transfer. No, the tithing the

concept is not so much about just the money, but

the tithing concept talks about consecration. Tithing talks about god

leadiness as well. And so when we talk about tithing

starting in the Garden of Eden, it begins when God

gave a command to humans to Adam and if okay,

and what was God's command, don't touch the tree, do

not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good

and evil. And what I'm saying that the way, all

the way from the beginning, from to the end to

this place, right, God has been saying, Now all creation

is good, everything is good, created man good, created woman

very good, and everything was good. And then God said

that you shall not eat from the fruit or the

tree or the knowledge of good and either, for on

that day if you eat of it, you will surely

I'm paraphrasing here, but basically there was a command, a

very clear It's quite a departure, because everything got created

and for me, for me, suddenly this one saying no

interesting or not? Ah, this one partner. It's like, go

into a hotel. I got gim got sauna, got breakfast

for everything, so nice, but you shall not do this.

You cannot smoke inside the room. You got me, right.

It's like, oh, there is a very clear understanding that, Hey,

although you paid to stay here, this does don't belong

to you. Ah, you get what I'm saying. You know,

it's a very clear understanding. When you're going to stay

in the hotel, you pay for it, but you shall

not smoke as well. Suddenly you realize that, hey, I

have a responsibility, you know. Oh you know I'm saying.

You know, I cannot just simply see the hair dryer

or so nice. I put it inside my back and

I bring it home, you know, speace, Don't do that,

you know, don't be like and those videos are people

before you leave, people catch you and open up your

back and see all the things that you emptied up

the room before you and you left, or tell you not.

You cannot live like that, you know, you know what

I'm saying, living no consequences nor boundaries. You are the world.

And so what does it mean when God says they

do not touch the tree? He says that it shows

us that in everything in life, there is one thing

also that we cannot touch. It reminds us of our humanity,

that we are created by created, and not just created,

that we are also subject to authority as well. Okay,

if we can touch anything and everything in life, what

happens then we become like God? Not God? In essence

we can You know, sus that creating a thing God

means that we do and anything like if like nothing

concerns us, you mean, right? So becoming like God. It's

it's not just powers. The authority is the submission authority

as well. So next light, So when God says do

not touch this, don't do this, you know, or when

he gives his commandment, and when we hear and we

obey what we do we do we acknowledge him as

God true, not we acknowledge him as God. Simple thing,

you know when you go, uh, you know, let's say,

for example, during Chinese New York time, you you know,

you gather together for dinner. Okay, looks so good, ah,

best you, your best chance, you best hot pot, everything

all you and you're hungry. You didn't You're faster the

whole day just for that one meal. But you don't

eat until your parents show up. Everybody understand that, right,

or maybe maybe it's a different rule. You eat first,

then you know, you don't get on your parents show up?

Right?

Why Because by you with holding to eat and then

waiting to arrive, you are so you're actually acknowledging they

are your parents. You're giving that honor because you acknowledge them.

Because I'm saying, you know, it's a very very powerful thing.

You know, you don't really have to be a Christian

to understand that, you know, there's power of acknowledging and

honoring one another and say so and so when we

refrain from something, when we consecrate our behaviors and understanding

and drawing online between years and no, we acknowledge God

as God. So tithing is not just about money, but

the basic elementary concept of tithing is about acknowledging God

as God. About God doesn't need our money. But the

main element that tithing derives from is honoring and acknowledging God. Yeah,

I'm saying always that that is the main building block.

There is the main lesson that we we that we

that were extra perate and built from that we should

set aside not just money, but time and everything else

for Him. Okay, so if just if we just look

based on our physics, using our flesh and just the world,

we will look at it as just legalism. We will

look at it as just law. But God has given

in a very early on in creation his commandment or

what men should do and what men should not do.

Because this law is spiritual. You got mean right, it's spiritual.

You don't understand it. The yes and the norse. Our

lives are spiritual. You get what I'm saying now, But

the world and the devil will say that it's legally.

You know, the devil is like loads to pervert things.

Right now, you know what's perversion. Perversion means you have

to start with something that is straight and then you

pervert it. You get what I'm saying, sex is good,

but then the devil comes in perverts. It become saying

now it's always perversional. It's always taking something straight and

then perverted. One law is good, is spiritual, but the

devil comes in and puts legalism. So in God's kingdom,

from his throne always flows out two things truth, justice

and mercy, not just one part, justice and mercy. Always

from his God's throne, justice and mercy. When you look

at the cross, what you see just justice, just mercy.

You look at you see justice and both mercy. Mercy

without justice is perversion, and justice without mercy also is

brutalism as well. You got me saying, no, we cannot

survive from either one, but we need both together as well. Okay,

that's another message for another time. Okay, now, so all

things are possible from the next night here with the

tithe and some of the things that we can tithe.

It's not just money. We can tipe by the way

we pray. Oh it's a harp tithe can pray. God

got a special ad for prayer one, not to tithe one.

You know. But you realize that a lot of people

struggle with prayer, you know, really really struggle with prayer

and not just uttering a few words, taking like one

minute is a struggle, you know. But when you realize

that praying is not just you know, a routine, it's

not just a religious practice. But praying means that you

actually take time to you know, pray, uh, you know,

not just prayer to God, but pray. You know, when

you see a message or somebody is you know, mother

is not well, and you don't just reply you are

in my prayers. We like to do that, you know. Yeah,

I'm a group Questians. I reply thinking thing you see

that double take on your WhatsApp Ready year you know

I support you, you know you know I support you,

But you actually take time. Okay, that's that's possible. Moment,

let's really really pray. You get me in right, really

actually pray, you know, and you really believe that your

prayers are heard and your heart goes up to them.

How many of us actually actually do that? Okay, you

can serve as well. Oh but and then serving it's

not easy because it goes against every every fleshly excused.

We don't have the skill, don't have the talent, don't

have the time, you know, you know, against everything I've

never searched in my life before. Serving is so challenging.

But yet serving is such a powerful time. Okay, sharing

you know, Wow, you know it's not easy, you know,

to share your testimony. But if I shame, I think

my friend will see me differently. But by that you

are also giving you know, your your you say, God,

I don't much, but Lord, you can use my connections.

You can use the people around me. The good will

that I built around people, you can use that. Are

you gonna die with just the people that you know? So? God,

what can I do? Because you know so many people?

Since when was the last time you allowed me to

use your contact? But yet we spend so much time

going to you know, different business meetings, you know, trying

to go to different parties you know, or god, on

social media, trying to make connections with people so that

they gave us either sales or context as well. When

was the last time we gave God our contexts? Huh?

When was the last time we gave got our context?

You crying?

Now?

We always spend people. I know, people who will spend

thousands of dollars going to conferences to make contacts. When

true or not? Chinese New Year, you buy hampers or

take your contact? Still still remember you want to true

or not? When was the last time we allowed God

to use our contexts? You think God allows you to

meet that person for your own benefit? Gamen? Right, is

it about your name or God's name? Saying? Okay? You know,

are we here also to make disciples? Disciples because you

know you need to you know, you know, allowing yourself

to be seen and you know, to spend the time

and the resources to take on leadership to turn every

partner into pioneers. You know, you know there are things

that you know, like community work and missions, you know,

some of these things that are very very important, and

I just want to know, explain a bit about you know,

actually next week we are doing we are having homes

and one of the topics I was preparing the note,

it's about giving as well and not just giving about

you know, just give you guys A be a preview

here and giving is taken from Deuteronomy twenty six. Okay,

if you read Deuteronomy twenty six, the title talks about

the offering of first fruits and tithing, not first fruits

and tithing. Now, when was Deuterono me written? Okay, let

me be more specific, when Deuterino When Moses wrote the

book of Deuteronomy which teaches people about tithing. A first fruits?

Were they in the desert or whether were they in

the Promised land? Desert?

Right?

And how did they when they were in the desert?

How did they survive their food? Were they planting trees?

How every day they wake up they have no no, no,

they haven't grown anything yet. They haven't planted and grown

anything yet. But yet before they entered into the Promised Land,

God True Moses taught them about what first fruits. So

first fruits it's meant to be applied when they enter

into the promised land. Now, very interesting. Why would God

teach you about something that you have not entered into.

It's like, you know, it's like students, you know, hey, students,

you live on the graces of your parents' naar, you

go to lunch. You don't have to worry. No deaddy

already transferred me money already. I just dig swipe only ready,

you know I go through you know you just swipe

only got money. It's like it's like that, my so

basically Moses and the people in the desert work downloading

touch and got credits from God and just every day

morning don't need to worry or God mana already. But

yet when you become students, you start to have to work.

You know, the Promised Land was it was a place

full of abundance. You know, God said that you're gonna

have a lot of abundance there. And you're gonna have homes.

You're gonna have vineyards, You're gonna have a plentiful of animals.

You know, you're gonna be whoa. I so look forward

to get out of campus and when I work, ready,

I mean, you look like now you regret. I want

to go back to studying. I just want to open

my mouth and there's food. Really, ah, you know I

don't worry. You know, I don't have to sleep. I'm

not worry. I got enough for next month, isn't it

totally different and all. But yet when so before they

enter into the God was teaching them blah blah, first fruits.

Oh you're like, you just realize that. Whoa, it's so

powerful and all. So it's so important to teach your

children and your and your family are first fruits before

they go out to work. You know, you know what

I'm saying. No, it's so powerful. And I said, when

you start to realize that God was preparing them before

they even earn, before they even saw the first fruits

are happening, I got a teacher. You need to start

giving your first fruits, and you know when you see

your first fruits are It's not just words not first

fruits are means are You have to watch you give

me For example, you have a gold right, okay gold,

and your goal is gonna give birth. It's not like humans,

you know what I mean. We do give twins, but

most of the time the animals they give more than

one offspring one, two, and three. And how do you

know which one is first and the second one unless

you were there? And so when you know when the

when the priests, when they prepare their sacrificers are first borner,

They really mean firstborn warner. The priests have to be

there to see the firstborn, and then before the second

one come on, they'll take a ribbon and then tie

and this marks the first born. And no matter what

you do, this will be the sacrifice. And so you

need to watch. And when you're planting your durian, the

farmer actually walk around their orchards and see her which

is the first fruits that are coming up, and then

actually tire a ribbon and there's that's the first fruit.

And sometimes the first fruit comes out much earlier before

everything else comes. A lot of us say like, God,

I will give you when I when I earned my

first million. Now you realize that that doesn't really sync

with the Bible, isn't it. God he said, no, you

give first. In fact, not only you're gonna learn this

before you enter the land. Ah. But the world is

just very different. Things are very principal. One not all

this one. My dad tells me to save, you know,

for the rainy day, you know, and someone I'm Chinut bladded,

you know, I'm Chinese. You know, this is like really

against my nature and my color, you know, really ah,

really hard and all I'm supposed to take my first

money to buy first property fors before doing anything else,

you know Chinese mentality, you know, with Asian and like that.

But God teachers and commenters very differently. He teaches faith

before you enter in and teaches you that when you

do enter you cannot just remember. You have to have

that practice of walking, watching and marking and marking and marking.

So sometimes you are scared to give your first fruits.

You know why, because what if the market condition was

so good? So what isn't there's an insect? What if

you come?

Mean?

Right, So the first fruits we tend to set aside

for ourselves because contingency risk management, you know what I mean? Right? First,

So pressures, you know, but God says, no, you give,

because when you give, you will remember when you were

in the desert, what did you eat from manna? You

didn't ask anything, you didn't beg God provide before you

even worked, eighteen years, twenty one years, twenty five years,

before you even started your first jobs. How did God

fed you manna? So that you will remember the Lord?

You know what I'm saying. No, it's such an important principle,

and so that is you know what I'm saying No,

when we grow older, we're not We're not wiser in

a way. Don't be too wise for yourself. Remember your

simple heart before the Lord. You can't decide. It's very

very very important teaching that we have to keep into

a house. So I pray when we say giving a

church asking for money. I tell you nobody teaches more

giving than Jesus, than God and Moses teach teach the

people about give before they enter the promised lender. You

know what I mean, right, It's such a very very

powerful lesson. Giving really reflects your insight, really tests what

is going on in your heart, and not really on

the bad, the good, the beautiful, the eyes and the

loss really boils it and you know, it comes out

what is really in your heart. There everybody, Okay, So

I hope you're looking forward to the homestads and okay,

all right, let's move on. It's okay, okay, set aside.

You're timing and we talk about how can I redeem

my time for the Lord as well? You know, you

know there's a uh, there's a part in the New

in the New Testament, in the Gospel, but Jesus says it,

you know, give to Caesar what is due on two

Caesar as well? You see sometimes when you you know,

you know Jesus, you know users, Uh, teaches kingdom principle

by users by also a lot of times. Uh, what

do they call it? Asking us to observe earthly prince?

Pollet as well give me a That's why we call

it parables. Parables is basically teaching kingdom principles through earthly illustrations.

You know what I'm saying. That's why Jesus always say

the Kingdom of God is like this when a man

goes through a place. Why you're teaching kingdom kingdom principles

through earthly illustrations. And he says that on earth we

give to Caesar what is due onto Caesar. And so

what is the principle that Jesus is trying to tell us.

He's saying that you must understand that as Caesar rules,

God rules over all the domains of humanity, over all

the domains of our lives, our time, our energy, and everything.

And so if this principle that you must give to

Caesar what is due to him? What are we giving

to God? What is due to him? In Trona, some

people look at Caesar as an intruder. I don't reckon

I sees do you look at God as an intruder?

Who is the lord of your life? When we fight

with him? A lot of times we are saying, God,

you are intruding into my life. You're gonna say, you know,

is God that intruses to you? Or are we the

one intruding into his kingdom? Everything we have belongs to him?

You know? Sometimes we enter the promised land. Now it's

like God, I don't want to intrude into my farm,

my land. But God was the one who gave you

the promised land, is what I'm saying. You got to

reverse it behind. Okay, So what are we giving to God?

What is due to him? Okay? All right, So just

a reflection now, let's switch a bit of gear here.

I'm gonna talk a bit about you know, I mean

at that time when Pastor was talking about twenty twenty,

you know, just to reflect back about the twenty years

and what is its significance and why is it important

that we talk about this as well? And it's important

as a church because a lot of times we attend church,

or we attend to our lives. Are we live twenty

twenty six in isolation. We live twenty twenty in isolation.

Every year we live in isolation. You don't have a

bigger perspective. How many of you can remember what was

the theme of your life for the past five years?

Do you have a theme? You're like, oh, no, I

just live just working, working, working, you know, then have kids,

you know, feed kids, kids, grow up, kids, feed me.

You don't have a theme, But I want to let

you know and that you know we can. When you

look back and you have understanding and down the world

of God, you will realize that there is a there

is a season going on. It's not just season saying,

because I'm going through a season of my life, but

there is a season. When you look at twenty twenty, right,

you realize that God's timing is unfolding prophetically. Okay, I'm

folding prophetically. The first twenty twenty of EX Church from

twenty to twenty twenty was the year of Joseph. Why

the year of Joseph, Joseph dreams and Joseph dream came

to fruition. The next twenty years of X Church from

twenty twenty onwards to twenty forty is the year of Daniel. Okay,

so how do we know that this is not just

some mumbo jumbo. There'll be conjur um. But you realize

when you look at twenty twenty what has happened, it's

significant not just to the church, but to the entire

world as well. Okay, I'm not saying that, well, are

you unique anything? But we focus on our own church.

We don't care about that, and we canep God's asking us.

It's like, can you see my hand working, molding, moving

and shaping individually and corporately as well? Okay, And so

when we look at it now twenty twenty, it it's

also a very clear, uh what they call it transition.

Even for Malaysia. You know, sometimes we forget oh we

take our government for granted, ah, but we forget that

for since how long our previous party actually was the

longest single is what it was, actually the party with

the longest single rainer. You know, there has been a

challenger for twenty twenty, and you forgot. You know, Malaysia

we made world history before and you forgot it. Not Malaysia,

we made world history. One. We actually have the single

party remaining for the longest time in the single nation

before we forgotten, know, we forgot you know, yeah, in

twenty twenty change, we talk about COVID. Oh, twenty twenty change.

Before twenty twenty, can you even even imagine that all

of us cannot mean that you will have to work

and not work at home, that all your children cannot

go to school, that everybody wear a mask. If you

don't wear a masks, people will look at you. One

kinder that if someone doesn't wear a mask, you don't

not get there to go into the lift. True or not,

true or not? You will not imagine someone will dress

up and wrap themselves in bubbles, are just going around

in the motorcycle. I tell you you will never imagine

there isn't it the world when suddenly enough, just like that,

you all and the things that the world want to

introduce and to stray squeeze, you never imagine these words

were auttered from the mouths of leaders. Scary enough, just

like that, it didn't take very long, just like that,

a catlict, just like that, quite scarier. And and what

you post online now also gets to you're being highlighted.

You've never seen such a rad alert before, just like that. Okay,

so things can change very very very very quickly. So

twenty twenty was very clear for the world, but also

for extra as well. And God is of course prophetically

giving words for the world. And also they say we

have the answers to God. If you're doing for the world,

are you doing for the church? And are you doing

for my life? So if you cannot understand from my

if I have not been able to hear, at least

for my life. But Lord, at least it brought me

to a church. Are you bringing me to the church

so that you also will help me to listen through

the church as well? You come saying, you know, am

I here by coincidence? You know? I mean actually more

than twenty years? Ready, this is my twenty six year.

Twenty six year. I don't think it was a coincidence

that remained here. That I never tell myself how I

want to be in this church for twenty six years.

I never. I just like, I just like, let's just

see how it goes, like you know, damn here twenty

six years ready. But yet God's hand moves sovereignly through

our lives. So we got to ask, is God working

and speaking through our lives? Okay? So let's get excited again.

Now what hype do we have to do? We have

to begin to unpack. We begin to break down things

and the commands of God and visions of God and

his objectives into bite sizers. And one of the key

things is that we have to learn to grow smaller. Okay.

Twenty twenty was a very clear demarcation and also a

vision for what where God teaches our church to begin

to grow small, to spread out. And so we remember

on our Leader's Day was a very significant year where

we know we talk about the three points. Then we

make sure that our harder and our handle members are

clear about their part of the world. Means that everyone

doing understanding their roles one they are called to, okay,

and also their roles in big building the bigger wall together.

Making sure that everyone is involved, not just one leader.

You know, it's not just hey, extra rushies belong to

two persons one person only, okay, but everyone from home

members to you all here, you're coming here, you are

all involved. Making sure that there's a plan and a

focus in winning souls, that we don't forget about it,

that we continue to win souls, to make disciples, to

produce leaders, and to release Daniels to the market place

as well. Okay, so let me just move on forward.

So Eficients, chapter four, verse sixteen, we read here say

that from whom the whole body joined and k needed

together by what every joint supply is according to the

effective working by which every part does it share causes

growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Okay,

So every part must do its share so that the

body can grow. And so you know, like this is

an example of you know, three levels of you know,

this is something that we did in leaders where they

call it our training to help us to continue do that.

I'm not going to spend too much time on this one,

but I'm going to just quickly go through so that

you kind of like have understanding of how we do it.

So God's diet, you know, okay for us, and God's

command for us is to feel the earth and to

have dominion over the things of the earth. This is

from Genesis. I think it's Genesis chapter two or three, okay,

Genesis chapter two okay. And his daily bread is for

us to continue to make disciples, okay, because to have

dominion means we need to have a multiplicative multiplicative element,

and that multiplicative element is disciple, making you multiply yourself.

Jesus multiplied himself by having twelve disciples, and the twelve

disciples multiplied himself by having disciples as well. And the

same multiplicative formula for us is to make disciples. Okay,

And our type is starting with who we have. You know,

who we have, where we are, what we have for example,

in not just not simple things. What can you do?

Oh how long? How can that begin to multiply? You

take the things and the opportunities that you have seriously

and begin to use it as well. And the level

the secret ingredient is the sending out the disciples. Keep

the until it becomes a momentum. Continue, don't forget you

know that we train disciples, but we send them out

we you know, release them to do plant churches, make

them to be home leaders. Continue to get them to

reach out. Level two. God started one thousand times by

one thousand, okay, taking stock now, his deliberate is, hey

can you look into who are your one thousand? And

then our tithe is basically what we set apart is say,

hey can we look into our one and who are

our leaders, and then who are also the rest of

the seven hundred and fifty that we want to also influence,

also to share with them as well, so that we

can a disciple and to leaven them as well. And

the leven the ingredient that we have and the secret ingredient,

and the thing that we have to apply is to

make a list, coming out with a strategy, creating a system,

putting a schedule, holding each other accountable, the things that

you tell yourself that you want to do. If something

is very important to you, gain all this, you say, hey,

don't just have don't just have a good intention, make

a plan, and then level three is ten by twenty thirty.

Let's do it. Okay, I know it sounds like, oh,

but let's let no not we we keep focusing on

what our goal is. Uh. His daily break, ninety percent

of newly new believers means that ninety percent new believers

means that we don't want church transfers. Okay, he said, no.

Every time we look at our church, our church has

grown so many people from other church, from another church,

from man churches. You know, is that what we really want?

You know? You know, I'm not saying that it's not good.

You know, what God wants is that you want to multiply.

You don't want to take from another gemman. Right, God's

met God's idea of kingdom. To fulfill his kingdom plan

is to multiply. We want new source. Okay. So that

that means that there are still if we are having

church transfer, means that the laws are still not reach

you know, it's just simple means. It simply means that

it's nothing wrong with our own church people. Okay. It

just means that the loss are still unrich. We are

not taking the risk, We are not taking the opportunity

to reach out to them yet. Okay. So the level

is to look and to pray for an opportunity to

show God's love, to display his power, and then point

to Jesus every day in every way. Okay. So now next,

like I'm just I'm going through quite fairly quickly. So

when we want to account for something, we must first

break it down to numbers to names, making sure the

numbers become names, the ideas to get there, and the

time investment to redeem the time. Because there's too many distractions.

Now as I come to this part, right, that just

may spend a time here, and this is very important. Actually,

the single thing that you can really do is really

to touch lives one really really that's the It's like,

you know, we can do a lot of things, can

have family, and family is important. I have family also,

these are really really important kids and everything. Yes, yes,

very important. But even in the midst of that, touching

lives are very very important. And sometimes we think that

we don't have many people, but actually we do. They are.

Just the other day, I was like, say, I don't

know why suddenly, but I just suddenly read it started

to take stock off. Maybe I should pray for some people.

And I started with, okay, maybe two of my neighbors.

Then as I started with two neighbors, and I said, yeah,

I know, I've been wanting to always see this guy

from my live, you know, but not horrible with names.

If he's my very bad my very bad weakness, and

I'm very horrible with names. But I try to remember

as much I remember him, I remember how he looks.

Say oh every time I want to invite, but I

never do it, you know, I always talk about something else,

and I remember two names. Then suddenly my heart I

just like suddenly it's something prompt me, don't stop there,

how about your other neighbors. Then after day I started

to listen. Now, all the cod people I know, almost

close to ten plus people, you know, just in my condo.

But then I realized not just the people, but actually

these people I'm known for a long time, you know.

I was like, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa so

many you know. Then after that, Oh, if there's so

many people in the condo, then how about might say,

you know, the people that I play my sports with.

I was like, whoa this guy. They were like, oh,

there's like ten plus twenty plus people. They're like whoa, okay,

how about my previous ex colleague? And whoa? So many people?

And it's something that because I fifty plus people, you know, well,

no Christians want to know. I was like, whoa so

many of them? Can I call them on? Actually very possible.

One to know. Actually most of them don't know I'm

a pastor. Want to know. But last year was a

year I did. Many of them found out that I

was a pastor. You know, oh your pastor. I cannot tell.

So I know a lot of basketball. I played basketball,

and I played with them, and then they found out, man,

you're a pastor. I said, yeah. I look at him, well,

I cannot imagine you're a pastor. This big guy who

comes down and I bangs me and hits me, and

then he's a pastor. Who of course, I'm very competitive,

so I'm sorry. I play very seriously one and sometimes

when they you know, I want to win one. You know,

I'm competitive. I want to win. Of course I try

to win, you know. So sometimes and then with like

for example, it's like if I hit the ball excellently

or like someone is, we are trying to fight for

the ball and the ball goes out, Yeah, I would say, hey,

our ball. And then they say, hey, you're a pastor.

Well then I look at him like, hey, don't use

it against me. Am I lying or not? Like I said.

But if I'm wrong, if I find out wrong, I'll say,

I say, oh, I'm sorry, I got it wrong. I

just adman like him, and I do make mistakes. I'm

not trying to outright live, but I'll fight for what

I understand, what we did. Then someone that's how to

realize I'm a pastor. Oh, then one of them, which

I'm quite a good friend with her. He's my he's

my basketball supplier. You know, I say, you're my basketball play.

He's a he's an instagram a famous busble influenza. I

know him and he can always help me get supplies

quite cheap, like kicks, you know, sneakers quite cheaper. So

I got annoying. Well, Madam, I don't know your pastor. Hey,

some of the things you do really cannot tell it's

a pastor one, you know, looking like you say. I'm like,

oh my goodness, am I being a bad testimoney? Right now?

I remember, Oh, I know, I forgive me, forgive me?

Did I say anything bad? Or and stuff like that?

Then you know it was I was. My hair was

in the run. I was really reviewing my life. Oh

I was being a very bad test to me. Did

I see anything bad? Did I cheated anyone? Did I?

You know? Was I better a bad teammate? And everything?

Should I give up basketball already? And stuff like that?

Oh thing in my mind? And I was like, oh, Lord,

forgive me. Then after that, not after after I focusing

like not, Matt. It's not so much about what you say,

of course, but it's what you do with them. That

makes the most sense. And so one of the things

that I did was that there was one time there

was a guy I saw, haven't made him for a

long time. He came in and I noticed that he

lost a lot of weight, and he quite a lot

of weight then before he played, I just came up

to him. I hardly talked to him that much. I mean,

I know him, but I don't say, hey, bro, haven't

seen you for a while already then and I was like, yeah,

never been a while. I don't know why. I just

feel like mad, you need to just talk to him.

Doesn't come to your church. It's not your homie. You

just talk to him, Okay, okay, talk to him. Then

I found out that he survived a stage three knows cancer.

It's the wife of no streak. He lost about twenty

plus kilos and he's not a believer, but recently he

and he recently uh and during his darkest time when

he was going through cancer, he his wife was never

beside him, you know, was never beside him. They had

such a tough marriagere that the wife didn't bother him.

Whether he wentn't call cancer. That's a very tough place

to be in. It or very tough place. Sometimes you

wish you would't marry even at that time, you get

me right to know that you have someone who married

to you and not willing to be by your side.

It's a horrible feeling. You know. He went to so

much pain and now he and he went he went

through He was like, why do I even leave? What's

the point of leaving? You know? What's the pain when

going through? Why would rejection be so? You know, like

you know why people can be so brutal? And he

questioned a lot things in life, but he know and

but you know, he was there. But then he survived.

The thing was his survived and the first thing that

he wanted to do was to divorce his wife was like,

oh my goodness, but there's the world okay, and there's

the world. You know, we don't know what they go through. Yeah,

I just get there. And then after that he you know,

and then I decided to meet out with him after

basketball as well. So and sometimes when you want to

meet out in people, I tell you things just come

up either things and just come out. It's like can

cannot can? But God, you you made a reason for

me to connect with him as well. And to be

honest for so long, I know, I meet people, I

try to tell people I'm a pastor because I don't

want them to treat me differently. But yet I think

there's a come a time when God, I want you

to use my contexts. I don't want to die with

my context you know, because I know twenty thirty, forty

to fifty. Actually I know hundreds of people in basketball.

I know I'll die with them and nothing is used

for God. You know, what did you do with knowing

or playing basketball with all these people? But as it

got start with want to say okay, and you know,

and so eventually it was so hard to meet out

He Then eventually I do meant out of him connected

even just for forty five minutes on the connected him.

Then he actually he share you know, he's actually that

God actually touched him. And he eventually went to a

church and I begin to pray for him, uh you know,

and then you know, and he was still afraid because

once you have cancer, your your cancer markers continue sometimes

remain dorminant in your body, so you need to do

a check a lot of times. Then when he did

a check, you know, he started noting he blood. His

blood tests got cancer markers. He became very worried as well,

and sometimes and the second time when they come back,

they came back even more what they call it, more

aggressive one. So he was very scaredles So I remember

continue to pray for him stuff like that, and because

of that, I think it changed. It changed things, and

it gave It's not so much about not so much

about him, but it changed my understanding as well, my

understanding of how to give God first fruits, not just money,

but in my life, to live according to that and

to really to take people in your life very seriously,

to use every opportunity you have to touch people as well.

The last thing I wanted to end as we talk

about giving it first fruits, something you can apply. You know,

my in my family I have we have five because

my mom and dad and I have have two other siblings,

so plus myself, three boys. In my family. I'm the youngest,

my eldest is the ten years older, my second is

seven years older. So my eldest was the first to

become a Christian, then the second and the third. But

my mom and my dad never uh became a Christian

until recently got a lot of news exciting things. But

then I will say you for another time quite amazing,

I really amazing, praise God. But I start with my

mom first. So when the biggest challenge was always like

my all three brothers of us when we're earlier on,

we were all away from Sarahwa. So we always think like,

how can we reach our mom when we are not

even there right? How? And sometimes I feel a big

hypocritical they say that I want to pray for my

mom and dad salvation, but I'm not there. It's like you,

I feel like I'm delegating to God to do his job.

You know. It's kind of a spiritual guilt there. It's

like ah. But then I said, God, if this is

why I can give, I will do it. I will

say it. But I know I pray with a lot

of really to faith and I pray. I don't know how,

but God send angels, send angels, and God did saint angels.

And remember when I was as we were working away, right,

my neighbor consistently invited my mom to church. I didn't

tell God specifically send my neighbor, but God was very

faithful to send the neighbor every single time. Every Sunday

every I think it's every Tuesday or Friday, asking her

to go to cell groups and towards my mom. My

mom has passed away, so towards her final two three

years of a life. Right, she doesn't do any work

because she has some brain degenerative disorder as well. The

one thing that she always look up to, that look

forward to, no matter how disabled she is, she would

always want to attend church and attend the cell group

and everything as well. You get me, right, And I

thank God for people who are actually my neighbors didn't

have to bother her one at all. To be honest,

they really didn't have to bother her one because me

as my family, we were not ideal neighbors. We just

minded our own business. Really, we just I don't know

about the rest of it. I think most Malaysians just

mind our own businessman, there's the neighbor model. They will

be adopted. Just mind your own business. It's okay that

you live the rest of your life not knowing who

your condoor neighbors are. On really is fine, it's acceptable.

It's Malaysian. But I realized that what we accept as

Malaysians as normal people, it's not what God wants as well,

but because of what they were willing to do. And

they saw themselves say, hey, our neighbor husband and wife

the treaty, do not hear. It's an opportunity and for you.

They did that. So and my mom converted, you know,

my mom really converted. So I really I don't know

how God did it, but he did it. And recently

my dad, well, my dad is the hardest. And my

dad's situation it's very complicated because there's a third party involved.

There's a lot guilt, there's a lot of shame behind it,

and it's very painful, very difficult. I was like God

to solve it. But yet and when I was praying

as well as like God, send an angel, sending an angel,

I don't know how you're gonna touch him. But my

dad has a very hot temper. You know how bad

my hot temper. My dad's hot temper is even until

now when he drives, he's like eighty two years old.

He drives right. If you cut him, he will chase

you down. And when I say chase you down, he

will chase you and get you out of the cart

and then look at you, why you cut him? My

dad has a temper. I don't think help people do that.

I don't know. My dad is such a temper, and

I grew up under the kind of temper and or

the fear on it, or so when when I drive,

when I say my DEA's cart, I close my eyes one.

Most of the time my dad is angry, and either

he chased you down, or if you cut him in

like a slow traffic he will bump you one but

pustly bump you, and you'll come out thinking either his

spanner or something you call a huge temper problem. Oh

then God, I didn't take up all these things like

you know, sometimes I realize that, oh maybe there's a

dark sometimes temple when I get angry offender, sometimes there's

a darkness inside you want to come up. You have

to keep it there one, because that's not what God's

intention for you. You know, you're the claim against it

as well. But even then, even with such a bad

temple and the guild, the shame and everything that's enveloping it,

even my wife's like, I don't know how to untangle this.

You know of years fifty sixty seventy eighty years of

untanglement and all that it's a mess. Imagine you know,

it's like it's tough. But then but yet God saying

an angel. You know who was the angel? He was

actually my dad's sister. My dad has eleven siblings and

twelve siblings, and a lot of them don't get along

one It's tough, I tell you what. Some of them

I don't even forgive one another until they die. Wanner,

the typewner, You don't you know what I'm saying. In

the family type of drama, it's like, really, some of

you know what I'm talking about, the type that I die,

I'll go to the grave of our last breath, or

so want to. It's like you are dying and your cousin,

your brother still don't want to visit you because of

an offense five years ago. That kind of that kind

of unforgiveness can be there one. You know what I'm saying.

You know it's so sad, you know, it's very, very sad.

Enough on my wedding day you still offend the ten

years ago by something you don't want to come to

my wedding. On my death bed, I'm having cancer, I'm

going to probably die this week, you still don't want

to visit me because of the unforgiveness people can hold

onto that it's not the type of master they actually

inherited them. And now all this ti I don't know where.

The youngest sister came out of nowhere and became a Christian,

you first among their siblings. And she reached out to

my dead reached out to my dad helping because God

just orchestraates that she was helping my dad do a

lot of different things. And because of that, that that

influence that she has, just little influenced she had. She said, hey,

you know, come with ur. And then also late last year,

my dad had cancer relapsed and I went back. Uh,

then Lord testimonis sola. Then my aunt used the opportunity

to to help take care my dad and things like

that as well. And this year when I went back

for my cousin's wedding, right my auntie told me, you

know what your dad says, he wants to get baptized

from a guya who got road rich issues, got road

rich issues, wants to get baptizer. Amazing. It's amazing, I

tell you. God is amazing. God is a good God.

And sometimes you don't understand. Sometimes it's like, God, what

did I do to deserve this? You know? What was

it that I did that allowed it? Paca? Remember you

pray and you asked, right Angel? You see, God's goodness

is way much bigger than our own goodness. A lot

of times we apply our own goodness to God and

think that whatever that we give to God, God cannot multiply.

That's where multiplication stops. You see what I'm saying that

we apply our own goodness, our experience to God and

we think that you will never multiply. But when we

stop applying and you just give to God. God, I'm

going to give it to you whatever that I have

right now, and I'm going to suspend all my pasty

and I'm by faith. I want to believe that you can.

I don't know about tomorrow I will believe, but this

moment I believe you can. And that's how you give

your first fruits. You know, I haven't seen how my

dad will get safer. I haven't seen the promised Lenner.

By at that time, I just give ninety probably like

eighty percent, doubt full, twenty percent believing I give and

God used it, And I pray that you also experience

the same goodness of God in your life. It's not

that God became bigger or it's just that it's like

I always tell people, it's like when you jump into

the swimming pool without wearing goggles. You can't see, you know,

when you jump into and then you start to wear

a bit, you push the waters out and you make

sure that there's proper vacuum inside, and you start to

realize that God has always been there. God has always

been there, and you start to Oh, has always been there. Amen, come,

let's stand together, Halla, lawyer. How many of you I

just want to pray as well? I know how many

of you? You really want this year to be a

year there? You want to make it count? Huh? You

want to make it count? You want to just pass

it by. Because the truth is, if you live a

bit long enough, right, you realize that that every year

and every day cannot be taken for granted. For you

don't know how long you have wanted know really don't

know how long you have of yourself, of your family

and your children or anything. You really don't know how

long you have. But the best and most powerful and

most satisfying thing you can live is to make sure

that you live your life to the fullest. And the

way to live with the life of your fullness is

to live in faith in God. Okay, faith in God.

And so I pray that today or whatever that we've learned,

we're talking about tithing or talking about the first fruits,

we're talking about God's purpose, We're talking about God's seas,

and you have to realize that this year is not

a coincidence. We have to get to a place where

things are bigger than ourselves. The life, the time that

God has given you is bigger than just your own

ones and your own dreams. You come saying, now there's

something bigger that God wants to take you into. And

that is why, you know, I really believe that this

year that God is going to bring a revival to

many of you, revival in you, through you as well

to your family members you're going to see. I really

pray that as you do that you're going to hear

amazing testimonies, your loved ones, your friends, colleagues who never

knew God. But because you were, you were obedient. You

you exercise a lot of faifties year to sol to sow,

to sow to sow, and you allow God, to multiply,

to multiply, to multiply. Come, let's raise our hands together,

Let's open up our hearts and just commit a moment

here and say that, Lord, Lord, we don't want to

miss you and what you're doing in our lives. So Lord,

right now we begin as we begin to prepare our

hearts to worship you. Lord, come right now to examine

and review all that we have, our time, our finances,

our energy, our families, our friends, our work and everything.

Lord help us right now, just to run a stock

stock check right now, just run through all these things.

Maybe some of you you thought about someone in your

you know, there's a reminder all about this person. That person.

I want you to take captive of that thought right now.

I say that, Lord, are you trying to work something

deeper in me? Lord, I'm giving you room. I'm giving

you permission come and invade my thoughts right now. I

don't want to just quickly say no right now immediately,

Oh I'm too busy. No no, no, Nord, I'm suspending.

I'm giving you room right now, right now, Just do

by faith right now, Just give room right now to God.

Say Lord, I believe you can. I'm giving you room.

I'm giving you my willingness Lord, right now, willingness right now.

And some of you you're beginning to say, Lord, I'm willing,

I'm willing. Ow. That's amazing that the work of the

Holy Spirit touching you, giving your hearts of understanding, of compassion,

of service of worship right now as you review, make

a list, don't just live it there and make a list.

Some of you you feel like, wow, there's more, there's

more I remember right now. The prayer needs I remember

right now or some of these things that God, people

and situations that God has brought into my life that

I am place for a reason, you know. Come and

allow God to touch you right now, Touch you right

right now and with the people with the mission with

a purpose right now, and allow God to speak to you. Lujah.

The show. We're going to worship, but we're going to

take this time to review, make a least right now.

And the next thing I want to invite you to

do as well, is to not just make room for people,

is to begin to start this year not just making resolutions,

but to begin too fast as well. You know we're

gonna you know a lot of times people start you're

making resolution. But God says that, no, start the new

year by making room. People start the new year by

filling their lives with so many goals. But God said, no,

you make room. Make room. Make room by fasting. Make

rooms so that you can focus on me. Make rooms

so that your goals will not be your own goals.

Your goals will be God's goals. Make room. Fast in

some of you, You know, it's not easy to fast

because you look at last year, like what have you

been so preoccupying to God may be asking you, not

just too fast about food, but your time. How much

time do you spend watching social media on your phone?

How much time you know? Sometimes things it's like, you know,

God asking me, like, hey, how much basketball do you play?

How much pickupball do you play? How much Netflix do

you watch? If you check on you, if you open

your phone right now, if you check the time use,

how much do you actually spend? Would you make room?

Would you begin to fast and change your your your

your mornings? Would you begin to change your nights? Would

you begin to change your your your your behaviors. Will

you give me your Sundays? Will you give me your Mondays?

Will you give me your first fruits. You know, you

may be looking for a job, You may be looking

for anything in your life. It could be a relationship,

could be a purpose, could be a meaning for it

will be a breakthrough. But before you enter into the

Promised Land. But can I teach you about first fruits?

Can I teach you to make room? Right now? God says,

will my people, whom I have fed faithfully day in

and there are by my manner and by my word,

will they make room for me before they enter the

Promised Land? As that word is being released? Right now, Lord,

I pray that you touch them. Some of you. You

are already having that conviction. You know what, you know

what what what needs to make room? You know what

in your life that you need to begin to offer

to the You know in your life what is good.

But it's not godly as well, and you know that

by giving it's it's difficult, but it's powerful. Amen, It's difficult,

but it's powerful. And so I pray that truth will

come and wash over your heart and your mind. Right now,

said Lord, I want your power in my life, not

by my own strength. I don't want to do it.

Do another year and just you know, going through coming

to church and doing this by my own strength, by law.

I'm going to make room for you in some of

you here you are serving your leaders, and I can

tell that you are very tired. You're very, very tired,

and you want to give up. I tell you I

was preaching on this lor you are tired and very

give up. I want to let you know that a

lot of people are tired, because the truth is you

are doing out of your own strength. You are doing

out of your You might not say it, but no,

you are doing a lot of your own strength. And

when I say that, it's like when you stop, when

you say that I want to take a break. But

what are you taking a break from to do what

what you want to do the things of the world,

to indulge in the things that you can't and you

want it so much for. Or are you taking a

break so that you have more of God?

Be honest, be really really really really really really really honest,

because at the end of the day, people will fade,

places will fade, times will fay, But what remains is

the reality of God.

And so the reality of God cannot start later. It

has to start now. In your life. You come saying

or not. The reality of God has to start now,

and that begins with an honest inspection of our lives.

God needs to be real. LOOKI and I pray, and

I pray that the enemy will not have a foothold

in draining you out of that joy, from serving that

out there joy in giving your devotion to Him. But

that the enemy will be will be chased away, all

the works of the enemy to steal and destroyer, will

be put to a halt in the name of Jesus,

and that God's will and God's joy will sanctify you
