  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. So, continuing on the theme of revival, I want you

  4. to turn with me to the Book of Joshua, the

  5. Book of Joshua. Okay, don't have any slices today. Just

  6. I you know, I was doing some or doing this

  7. or doing this reading and kind of struck me, I know,

  8. talking about revival, talking about Holy Spirit as well.

  9. Okay. So I turned to me.

  10. In the book that Joshua, we're gonna read from chapter two,

  11. I'm gonna study a bit about the story of ray Heap, Okay,

  12. but I find something.

  13. I found something very very interesting.

  14. Okay, Ray the Book of Joshua, chapter two, I'm going

  15. to read here from verse one. I probably will go

  16. through the whole thing. My yeah, might probably go through,

  17. but just bear with me. I'm going to do some

  18. story telling, okay. So now chapter two, Verse one, you say,

  19. is now Joshua and the son of Nun sent out

  20. two men from a from Acacia grove growth to spy,

  21. secretly saying go view the land, especially Jericho.

  22. Okay.

  23. So now Joshua, No and the israelit has just crossed

  24. over the Jordan River. Okay, Joshua has been appointed anointed

  25. by God to succeed after Moses as well. Okay, so

  26. this guy is, you know, it's in a new and

  27. challenging position as well as they crossover, uh so into

  28. a land where there are many enemies. Of course it's

  29. the Promised Land or not. But they're not inside the

  30. Promised land year, but they are into this territory. And

  31. this territory is inhabited by many people.

  32. Okay.

  33. And one of the first city is the city of Jericho,

  34. and some of you are very very familiar as well.

  35. The city of Jericho is famous for what what war walls? Okay,

  36. uh and the theo Jericho is very famous for walls.

  37. And it's not just any walls. There are walls are

  38. at that time, Okay, at that time, it's actually quite advanced.

  39. You must understand.

  40. At that time the warfare weaponaries are quite different. How

  41. many of you like to study medieval warfare? I love

  42. studying medieval warfare. I was so so intubiated. You know,

  43. it's like because you know why some of these people

  44. are so ingenious. You look at the engineering, it's ingenious,

  45. you know, like how they how they designed some of

  46. the things, how they were able to build without machineries,

  47. and so they have to think, you know. But recently

  48. I just you know, I was watching on this video,

  49. amazing video. You know if you go to Scotland, right,

  50. you know that this is the place where they had

  51. this Stonehage, you know, the Stonehage, the big now the

  52. big stones are with the human facer, not that human facer,

  53. but like now the stones at another hedge stones here

  54. the humans the human number sorry, and people wondering how

  55. they actually carry that thing, you know, with no machineries.

  56. So recently there's a there's a university that actually tried

  57. to challenge gave a test for students to try to

  58. see how they will think of how to move this

  59. thing up, you know, and you know how they started

  60. like they think they might have solved it. You know

  61. how they actually carry you know, how they actually carried

  62. They were saying that the imagine this is a stone.

  63. What they did is that they tied a rope around it,

  64. one rope there, one rope there, and one rope there,

  65. and one room there. And so instead of dragging the

  66. stone right, you know, what they made the stone do

  67. by there and they made the stone walk and they

  68. did the same what they called it experiment. In one

  69. day it was able to cover almost one km. You

  70. they think, you know, it's quite brilliant, you know, and

  71. you think about the brilliance of what they call it

  72. medieval engineering. Right, the way they build the walls. Know,

  73. if we study the worlds, it's not easy feed. You know,

  74. it's elevated. And the walls in Jericho is actually known

  75. as a double war. A double war means between the

  76. walls you actually can build houses and inside the house

  77. one of the houses actually where rehabits she is staying.

  78. And I cannot imagine it because Cheras don't have wolves. Okay,

  79. we don't have waves. We cannot imagine it. But at

  80. that time, you know people, you know, people staying in

  81. very very unique interesting setups. Okay, so Rahab's house is

  82. actually in the war, it say in between the walls then, okay,

  83. so Jericho is actually so when I'm coming to say

  84. is that Jericho is a very famous city and very

  85. fit and now and when you want to attack jerichle right,

  86. you know, what is the rate of success in HISTORYA

  87. when an army tries to siege a castle.

  88. Or what is the rate of success?

  89. No, zero point one, not so hopeless that zero point

  90. whe people won't even go out there already. Why it's

  91. the rate of success, It's about thirty percent. It's about

  92. thirty percent, okay, But if your wars are even really strong,

  93. ray famous, it's even lower for B ten percent, five

  94. percent okay, because the city there is actually behind the city.

  95. If you give them just a bit enough time to prayer,

  96. chances are their winmen, did you know that? Chances are

  97. they win because they have everything set up, and you outside,

  98. you are exposed, completely exposed. You get mean, right, you

  99. really do? Their exposed all the chance. So Jericho, when

  100. they see Israel lights, Where did this Israel come from?

  101. They don't even have a country, wondering in the middle

  102. of the desert there, you think they can organize themselves.

  103. You get me saying, you know what I'm saying. No,

  104. it's not. They're not like Egypt. They're not like you

  105. know other places where they got wars. They got black

  106. smiths and oh these are just a bunch of bunch

  107. of people and they got their wars. These people inside there,

  108. they are very confident of themselves, very very confident they

  109. can last weeks and months, you know, sometimes up to

  110. three to four months when not know they can outlast

  111. you easily. One okay, now let's go back here. So

  112. it says here and continue in verse one, verse one.

  113. So they went and came to the house of a

  114. hardered named Rubbah Rehab, and lodged them. And it was

  115. told the King of Jericho saying, behold, men have come

  116. here tonight from the children of Israel to search up

  117. to search out the country. So the King of Jericho

  118. sent to Rehab, saying, bring out the men who have

  119. come to you, who have entered your house, for they

  120. have come to search out all the country. Then the

  121. woman took the two men and hit them. Interesting, they

  122. came to their house and the king found out. The

  123. king King found out, go to your house.

  124. Okay.

  125. But basically the I told you at this city is

  126. very confident they are going to win. And then they

  127. went and ask can you bring them out? We know

  128. she there inside, she hearing there are Instead of following,

  129. she actually knows that she knows that they know that

  130. the two guys are in the house. Instead of bringer,

  131. she actually choose to hit them. One no, no, Tama,

  132. very tight, Tama. It's like police know that you you

  133. have the two men now, but you still want to

  134. hide one and all.

  135. You get me.

  136. It's not that they don't know. They know already are,

  137. but you still want to hide one and all. They

  138. know already they were still having to hide on. Okay,

  139. let's see what you do then the then in verse four,

  140. then the woman took the two men and hit them.

  141. So she said, yes, the men came to me, but

  142. I did not know where they were from. Come on

  143. with whole new story. And it happened as the gate

  144. was being shut. When it was done that the men

  145. went out. Where the men went, I do not know.

  146. Pursue them quickly, for you may overtake them or mislead

  147. them some more. But she had brought them up to

  148. the roof and hidden them with the stalks of flash

  149. flags which is the weed flags okay, which she had

  150. laid in order on the roof.

  151. Okay.

  152. Then the men pursued them by the road to the Jordan,

  153. to the forts okay, which is the harbor. They all

  154. in order forts, And as soon as those who pursued

  155. them had gone out, they shut the gate.

  156. Now before they lay down.

  157. She came up to them on the roof and said

  158. to the men, I know that the Lord has given

  159. you the land, that the terror of you has fallen

  160. on us, and all the inhabitants of the land are

  161. fainthearted because of you.

  162. Wow.

  163. Now I want to ask you based on what she's

  164. saying here, the man went into a house by coincidence.

  165. Of all the houses, they could have gone into spy.

  166. They choose to go to the house of a prostitute.

  167. If you go back to your boss, who is Joshua,

  168. who is a holy manner, you would choose to go

  169. to a prostitute hel her.

  170. It's kind of funny.

  171. It's like I got scouting to plant a new church

  172. and I choose to go to stay in a prostitutes

  173. houseland then go back to pastica and I have pastor.

  174. You think, what kind of reputation? How will get right?

  175. It is not by coincidence, people, It is not by coincidence,

  176. you see, Because she says that I know that the

  177. Lord has given you the lad She must have heard things,

  178. and what she heard she made a conclusion in her

  179. heart by faith you see her and in verse ten,

  180. for we have heard how the Lord dried up the

  181. water of the Red Sea for you when you came

  182. out of Egypt. And what you did to the two

  183. kings of the Emrights who were on the other side

  184. of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.

  185. And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted.

  186. Neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because

  187. of you. For the Lord, your God, he is God

  188. in heaven, a birth, and on earth beneath. Oh, I

  189. tell you, is there a confession of faith or not.

  190. She don't need any sermoner, don't need any preaching, don't

  191. need any worship song. She already gave her life to

  192. Jesus ready, you know, she already cared.

  193. Lo they care this.

  194. Your God is the God of heaven and above and

  195. below and all. She already cares that what based on

  196. what she here. She didn't scroll an a instagram or

  197. the Israelites a crossed the red You know, she just

  198. here and Holy singer, she believes, you know, she believed

  199. that your God is the God.

  200. You see her.

  201. When Israelites cross came out of Egypt and across sea.

  202. You think they were the only one who who heard

  203. this news? Not everyone heard. And so as they came out,

  204. they were wondering in the wilderness and all to the

  205. way of the promised that now it was actually evangelism,

  206. you know, to the entire place. You know, God walking

  207. through them through miracles. This bunch of people came out.

  208. They can survive forty plus years are how can do that?

  209. One?

  210. And can defeat people one and all? Oh my goodness. Yeah,

  211. their leader died. Moses died. Oh you mean God, another

  212. leader come up. No, it's not just a coincidence. It's

  213. not just about Moses.

  214. You know. There must be a God beside them, you know.

  215. You know what I'm saying.

  216. Not every possibility is eliminated. There's something unique. So there

  217. were a walking testimony, you know. And by the way,

  218. there's a pillow cloud and fire following them, and that

  219. they were carrying it. Ah, and there's a tabernacle in

  220. their meats as one. They were so unique in the.

  221. Eyes of the world, you know what I'm saying?

  222. Or not?

  223. And what do the world respond?

  224. Some of them were still rebellious, some of them will

  225. never never believe, but some of them do. In the city,

  226. so well fortified, so rich they had one. Probably one

  227. of the more advancities are who chose to believe a prostitute.

  228. Prostitute beliefs.

  229. Okay now verse eleven, sorry in verse eleven. Okay.

  230. And as soon as we heard these things are hearts melted.

  231. Neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because

  232. of you. For the Lord your God, he is God

  233. in heaven a birth and on earth beneath. Now, therefore

  234. I beg you swear to me by the Lord, since

  235. I've shown you kindness, that you will also show kindness

  236. to my father's house and give me a true token,

  237. and spare my father, my mother, my brothers, my sisters

  238. and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.

  239. So the man answered her, okay, oh, I think it

  240. quite amazing. She already knew the outcoming. She already knows

  241. why it's gonna happen it now. She didn't trust the walls.

  242. She knew that when God's people are outside, that even

  243. though no one has actually breached the wall ever before,

  244. Jericho has never fallen before one. She knew what was

  245. gonna happen based on what she heard and said by

  246. faith and the moment that two spies came in. She

  247. saw them, she mocked them, and she didn't let them

  248. go anywhere by her house.

  249. Even though she was a prosecute.

  250. The chances of them following her was very low, but

  251. she didn't miss the opportunity. You get me, she really

  252. put her Who will come to a prostitute's house? It's

  253. well known, but it really had to take a lot

  254. of courage for a prostitute to go and come to

  255. my house and we're not gonna require the performance of it.

  256. Come to my place. I'm gonna hide you.

  257. And even if the king sends people to me, I'm

  258. gonna hide you. Oh how devoted she is a you

  259. think about it?

  260. Really really devoted?

  261. Okay, now then she then of all these things, she

  262. knew there was gonna and she what did she asked?

  263. She asked for a pledge, you know, she asked them

  264. to sweat. She asked for salvation. She said, I'm here

  265. not just to from hospital, but I need something, that

  266. one thing that I need more than anything, salvation for

  267. my family. I want an assurance. I want a guarantee,

  268. and I know that you can give it. She didn't

  269. go to anyone. She asked them.

  270. She will not. It's like you all those people.

  271. I say, I will not leave a knowledge when Jacob

  272. said no to the stranger.

  273. I will not leave until you bless me.

  274. Sometimes, I you know, as believers are, sometimes we don't

  275. cling on to God high enough. You know we said God,

  276. we asked her. But have we ever asked as God?

  277. I will not leave.

  278. Until you give me an assurance. You know that is

  279. not you'll being a damna. That's you are being full

  280. of faith. No, for Yhab was full of faith. And

  281. I will not live until you give me an assurance. Okay,

  282. until you spare. Then you I believe that you are able,

  283. not just to save me, You're able to save me

  284. and whoever in my household, my family, and my father

  285. and their household. So whoever is in my house you're

  286. able to save. So the men answer her our lives

  287. for yours, and none of you tell this business of ours.

  288. And it shall be when the Lord has given us

  289. the land, that will deal kindly and truly you. In

  290. verse fifteen, she is not done yet. Now she made

  291. them promise, but still there must something she must deliver. Then,

  292. it says there then she let them down by a

  293. road through the window, for her house was on the

  294. city wall. She dwelt on the wall, and she said

  295. to them, get to the mountains, let the pursuers meet

  296. you hide there three days until the pursuers have returned,

  297. and afterwards you may go your way. And in verse seventeen.

  298. So the men said to her, we will be blameless

  299. on this of yours, which you have made us swear,

  300. unless when we come into the land, you bind this

  301. line of scarlet cord in the window through which you'll

  302. let us down. And unless you bring your father, your mother,

  303. your brother's, and all your father's household to your own home,

  304. so it shall be there. Whoever goes outside the doors

  305. of your house into the streets, his blood shall be

  306. on his own head, and we will be guiltless. And

  307. whoever is with you in the house, he's now uh

  308. with you in the house. His blood shell be on

  309. our head if a hand is laid on him. And

  310. if you tell this business of ours, then we will

  311. be free from your oath which you made us swear.

  312. Then she said, according to your words, so be, and

  313. she send them away, and they departed, and she bound

  314. the scarlet cord in the window.

  315. She still had.

  316. To send them out and lower down from the house.

  317. It turns out that you know, a lot of times

  318. are the houses when they built on the walls. I

  319. don't know for sure, but supposedly are for poor people.

  320. One supposedly for poor people. But even then, whatever she is,

  321. she used whatever resources what she had to hide them

  322. and to provide refuge for them. Now, a few thousand

  323. years they the medium a few thousand, A few hundred

  324. years later, rah Geez came to the city of Jericho.

  325. You know that you know who did he met there?

  326. Who did Jesus meet in Jericho?

  327. Anybody want to guess who did Jesus meet in Jericho?

  328. Who?

  329. It's a very famous guy. You know, it's a very

  330. short guys. The chis okay Luke chapter.

  331. Nineteen.

  332. As I drove to a half of my story already,

  333. look chapter nineteen, he says, Then Jesus chapter chapter Look,

  334. look chapter nineteen, verse one. Then Jesus entered and passed

  335. through Jericho again. And he says, now, behold, there was

  336. a main then as the Kiss, who was a chief

  337. text collector, and he was rich text collector at that time.

  338. A frown upon They are kind of like the prostitute

  339. of their age because a lot of tax collectors were

  340. actually priestless. ACTI Matthew the wand the disciple is actually

  341. a tax collector. So but Matthew is actually a leef.

  342. It means he actually come from the tride that are

  343. called to be priests. But a lot of the priests

  344. could no longer perform priestly duty, okay, because the Romans

  345. started introducing what they collect the text collector system. Because

  346. the priest at that time was supposed to collect the

  347. ties and offerings from the people for the Lord. And

  348. now that rite has been taken away by the Roman government.

  349. Instead of you, instead of letting the priests collect the

  350. town of rain for the temper, the Romans took control

  351. of that and they issued license based on who they prefer.

  352. And one of the people that they actually control was

  353. the high priest.

  354. You know.

  355. But anyway, so a lot of the priests basically uh,

  356. got no job to do, know, really became jobless. So

  357. instead of like remaining at home, you know, waiting, they

  358. decide to do what, Oh if I cannot work for

  359. the temple, I work for the Roman government instill collecting

  360. text for the temple. I collect text for the Roman

  361. people for the Roman government. So when they do it's

  362. still serving, it's still serving God. They became priest for

  363. the world. It's kind of sad that you, instead of

  364. being peace for God, became peace for the world. And

  365. so when people saw them, they were thinking of them.

  366. This people are traitors cost a lot of times when

  367. they collect money, they collect double as well. They said, oh,

  368. we come to collect money, you got extra. Now if

  369. you don't give me, I'm going to tell you that

  370. the government that you didn't pay your text.

  371. Yeah, and that is why.

  372. They also says that who was a chief not just

  373. text like chief text collector means her he got disciples

  374. so called disciples aukunju okay, chief text collector means that

  375. this guy is MLM. This guy, okay, he got insurance,

  376. he got agents, agents and him money, not you know,

  377. they collect and he got the money.

  378. And he says that he was rich.

  379. Now and when the Bible says you are rich and

  380. you are rich, okay, this is not for five hundred

  381. This is a Bible's fight and not really rich, Lisa,

  382. you are rich?

  383. Are you are really rich? One? Okay?

  384. Okay, luc Someone says that looka it's not poor Rook

  385. is a physician now.

  386. And look, he.

  387. Said, this guy is rich man, He's rich, Okay, he's

  388. really really rich Okay.

  389. And he says that.

  390. And he sought to see who Jesus was but could

  391. not because of the crowd, for he was short or stature.

  392. And you read this right, I want you to bring

  393. about the story of Rahab. He really bring about the

  394. story I was reading. When I was reading this, I

  395. couldn't help but thinking Jerrycho, Jericho, Jericho, Jericho. I was

  396. thinking about the Holy Spirit. I was thinking about revival

  397. as well, and I realized that the Holy Spirit has

  398. always been at work, always always been. Sometimes we don't

  399. expect the work the way that we think it should be.

  400. Sometimes we expect revival in a certain sense, but actually

  401. the Holy Spirit has been working just that we don't

  402. recognize it. It's only until the very end, when things

  403. are completed. You were like, oh, my goodness, the Holy

  404. Spirit has been working all this while. The Holy Spirit

  405. has been working even before Jesus came to prepare this man.

  406. You know, the Holy Spirit has been working before the

  407. spies went into the city of Jericho and to mid

  408. Ray Happy. No, you know what I'm saying, now the

  409. world has been preached, And I tell you was the

  410. kist I didn't just hear the name of Jesus. What

  411. did he hear? He probably heard so much about what

  412. Jesus has been doing, isn't it You read book Chapter eighteen,

  413. Chapter seventeen, chapter sixteen, all the teachings and all the parables,

  414. all the healings they had been done. And just before

  415. the blind man receiving his side, do you know what

  416. has Jesus been doing. Jesus has been performing miracles as

  417. like as the Israelers were crossing through and the wilderness

  418. for forty years. Jesus is also passing through Jerusalem, passing

  419. through all the Judeia people forming doing teaching like Israel.

  420. Likes you know they were.

  421. He was shining like a beacon, and the Kiss heard

  422. that Jesus was coming. Because the Kiss is a kind

  423. of ray heab. You know what I'm saying. No, the

  424. Chios is a kind of ray help. The rey heap

  425. is a prostitute. The Chius is a protitute in the

  426. eyes of men. The rayhab stayed behind the walls of Jericho.

  427. The Kiers had the walls of his riches you know

  428. what I'm saying.

  429. Now, the world will look at you.

  430. If you're rich, you are steady, there's your strong hold,

  431. there's your strong ward. All this just means that you

  432. separate yourself and not just you separate itself. You are safe,

  433. you are complete, and you are whole. And that when

  434. there is a crack on your wall, that means that

  435. something is broken. That's why there's no more peace. So

  436. a lot of people derive their peace from their so

  437. called strength, from their riches, from their fame, from their career,

  438. whatever it is as well. For the Kiss, his war,

  439. his Jericho war was his richest. He was empty. He

  440. was a chief text collector, but also a prostitute as well.

  441. But yeah, he like everyone else, he's not the only

  442. tech collector that he got.

  443. Other others are. He like everyone else, has heard about

  444. Jesus as well.

  445. The question is not about how simple you are, because

  446. everybody is simple. Rayhap is not the only Harlot. Many

  447. Highlands as well, all of Jericho are sinners. They heard about,

  448. not Israel. But who will respond and how will they respond?

  449. You know what I'm saying, No, how will they respond?

  450. And that's the Monk of the Holy spirits work reviving

  451. and changing people's hearts. You see, it's a kiss. He's

  452. such a sceni Although he has such a great war,

  453. he was so empty. Nobody want to associate with him,

  454. you know, nobody want to associate with him. One no, no.

  455. But yet it.

  456. Says that he sought to see who Jesus was, okay,

  457. and what did he do? But he could but he

  458. says that, but he could not because of the crowd,

  459. for he was off short of stature. You see, like Rayhab.

  460. You think Rayhab easier. Hey can just stand at the

  461. wall there, you two, Spike come to my house. Everybody

  462. knows her to prostituting all.

  463. Everybody knows, you know.

  464. You see her ray Head was low in stature because

  465. everybody knew who she was. She was despised, frown and

  466. looked down upon. How is she going to get an audience?

  467. Isn't it?

  468. The gears frowned.

  469. But he also literally is physically short, literally short, they know,

  470. literally short. Okay, So what did the gears do? So

  471. he ran ahead and climb up into the second montree

  472. to see him, for he was going to pass that way.

  473. So I really believe he didn't say in the Bible

  474. about what ray hep did.

  475. But you got to give her cried it for a process.

  476. You're able to find two spies and convince them to

  477. stay at the house.

  478. Really, you know, I don't know what she did, but

  479. definitely she didn't miss the opportunity better there because understand her.

  480. It's not like Jesus.

  481. Jesus worked very obviously, you know, but these spies were

  482. really hiding and you really have to really look at

  483. and know and hear a where the spies really are?

  484. Oh you are the spies in it? Then you're not

  485. really good spy. Really, you know, if you're known by

  486. the whole city, you're not very good spy.

  487. It must have there must have been very hot.

  488. But she must have her little ears, her little eyes

  489. to find to help her find and.

  490. She brought them.

  491. If people, if you spy in the city and you

  492. are found out, the chances are you will kill the

  493. girl or the guy or not. But she took that

  494. chance to took them as refuge, to expose herself to

  495. do the refuge. So what it means them both Rayhab

  496. and the cheers were chose to undignify themselves. I'm saying,

  497. no true faith, true desperation doesn't care about dignity.

  498. They cares about purity.

  499. I'm saying, you know, true faith doesn't care about dignity,

  500. it cares about purity. What when it's pure? When when

  501. you know Sometimes that you ask, oh, I have this

  502. thing burning in my heart. I pursue it. Is it

  503. from the Holy Spirit? You know about about the shame?

  504. I know, I don't know. This is from my flesh.

  505. This is not from the world. This is from God.

  506. So one of the most important tests you got to

  507. ask yourself is what is this pure? This is really pure?

  508. Am I doing this really for the Lord more than

  509. anything else? Or is it really inside me? There is

  510. something about me being self righteous? You know. Along the

  511. way I've seen people. I want to confess. I want

  512. to serve God.

  513. I want to.

  514. Yeat in all these things can hide layer after layer

  515. after layer after layer, a lot of pride. I want

  516. to tell God that I'm worthy of saving. You know

  517. what I'm saying, And I tell you what happened to me?

  518. Or so all of us are not examplee, you think

  519. we're also pure after coming to church so longer we

  520. are all not so pure. We all like to look

  521. at the person that left and the right eye. This

  522. person come to just so wrong?

  523. I did?

  524. I know?

  525. Who? Think you can see through him and her?

  526. Wana.

  527. We like to judge people a lot, but we never

  528. look at ourselves.

  529. You know, we know we never We all like to people.

  530. Oh that's why we wake up. The first thing we

  531. like to see is the news. Ah, well, was the

  532. first thing you wake up?

  533. Said? Lord, I'm a sinner? How many of you do that? Huh?

  534. But amazing.

  535. If you just take away your phone now, if you

  536. want to faster, take away your phone and you just

  537. focus on between yourself and God, you will realize that

  538. you stop complaining about people, true or not. You will

  539. realize how dirty and how filthy and unrighteous, how self

  540. this is, how deceiving you are to God and to

  541. yourself and then really to your people around you as well.

  542. You will realize how wretched you are. You know, you

  543. know I'm saying, no, this is this is a very

  544. important thing, don't care about. So it's the key is

  545. he knew how He's like, I don't bother clearing my

  546. name with the people.

  547. But I know, Jesus, I hurt what you did.

  548. And there's only one thing I need from him salvation

  549. in my household. There's all he cares. You know, I

  550. only need your one thing. I don't need you to

  551. tell people how righteous I am.

  552. I don't need.

  553. I don't very helps and no, I don't need I

  554. just need one thing when you come when judgment comes

  555. on this city. I want everyone in my house safe,

  556. That's all okay. And you and I should be the

  557. same case or you don't care.

  558. Oh, I know. I want to be recognized.

  559. Not the only thing that you and I should care

  560. is that when judgment comes, when the dare comes, that

  561. you and I found clinging to the cross, and that

  562. the blood of Jesus saves us. I don't care about

  563. left all right, but me and my housebowd and those

  564. who God are safe. You come saying, now that's what

  565. that's the most and most. But then that's why the

  566. Bible says that you not be certain and work out

  567. your salvation. You know you don't work for your salvation,

  568. but work out your salvation. Pol says, you know you

  569. run the race, work out your salvation. Clearly, did you

  570. know that you are truly safe? Just you don't just say,

  571. you say, but you know that you are really safe?

  572. You know what I'm saying.

  573. Now, That's what matters at the end of the day, everybody. Okay,

  574. so Fa, let me drow this to a close.

  575. Okay.

  576. So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore

  577. tree to see him, for he was going up and

  578. going to pass that way. And when Jesus came to

  579. that place, he looked up and saw him and said

  580. to him, the Kias made histe and come down for

  581. today I must.

  582. Stay at your home. Ah.

  583. Beautiful thing you see, Ah, when you think about it.

  584. Sometimes when you when you read about rehab its quite amazing.

  585. Near a rehaba prosecutor, you found it all you can

  586. to find this spire stare you need to choose to,

  587. you know. But yet it's salvations done just because Jesus

  588. entered into your house, just because Jesus said I want

  589. to enter into your house.

  590. Is salvation done? Not yet?

  591. It's just the beginning, you know, just the beginning. And

  592. this is the key to revival. A lot of people

  593. think that yes, it's coming to church, having a hunger

  594. is the revival.

  595. No, no, no, it's not yet. It's not yet.

  596. It's like you're bringing you someone sicker to the hospital.

  597. Is the person revived ready?

  598. Ooh? Used to need to this is isn't it?

  599. The persons you need to respond truer, respond to the

  600. treatment and all bringing there. No, it doesn't mean anything,

  601. you know. Sometimes you bring it you're worries some more,

  602. you know, but of course you bring into the hospital.

  603. It's a good thing to really like oky, but it's

  604. not complete yet. There must be a response. So what

  605. did the kids do it? So he made hayes and

  606. came down and receiving joyfully. But when they saw it,

  607. they're all complaints, saying he has gone to be with

  608. guest with a man who is a sinner. When you

  609. think about Red Hair, when she housed the two spits,

  610. what did she get peoples? The Kings send people against

  611. her to threaten her. Is it because people don't like

  612. what you harbor outside? Cause some people will say, hey,

  613. but she lied. But the way I think about it,

  614. it is like she provided covering for the truth of God.

  615. She raised her own life as she didn't she really

  616. risks her own life from beginning to the enna. She

  617. raised her life. It's not just this part from the Anna.

  618. She risks her life because there's one thing. Only she wanted,

  619. not mone near. She wanted salvation for her household, salvation

  620. for her. I'm covering for you and I need your

  621. covering for me. She's making this one commotional trait with God, said,

  622. I'm covering for you and I need it. So when

  623. she made it, she made it in the sincerity of heart.

  624. We've gotten Now my conscience is clear. I'm making this

  625. for you, the Lord.

  626. You know what I mean.

  627. Okay, that's how I see it, Like, okay, you want

  628. to come up something else is think Okay. So he

  629. made it, says there. But when they saw it, they

  630. all complaint, saying that he is going to be with

  631. a guest, with a man who is a sinner. Then

  632. the kids stood and said to the Lord, Lord, Lord,

  633. I give half of my goods to the poor, and

  634. if I've taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I

  635. restore four fold. So why is revival? Revival is not

  636. just this power, but it's the whole complete thing. Revival starts,

  637. but it's not complete unless until there is a transformation.

  638. There must be a transformation. I'm not saying that this

  639. is the only thing. I'm not saying Revival began but

  640. I don't like people like revival. But revival is not

  641. complete until there is a transformation. So I believe that

  642. there are many revivals happening, but a lot of revivals

  643. are half baked. She got me right, Like many of us,

  644. I started with a New year resolution.

  645. How many of you that drop off? Ready?

  646. You know what there? So resolution remains a resolution. He

  647. remains a resolution. Yeah, I realized, I'm really resolved. I'm

  648. guilty you so okay, I'm ready guilt to yourself, you know.

  649. So it remains racially unless there is a transformation. And

  650. so what what is what is when Jesus asked to

  651. go into excuse, what is he really looking for? What

  652. is Jesus wanting to see not just a man inviting,

  653. but a man transformed? And so what is the mark

  654. of that is what? It's repentance. So he's really repentant,

  655. you know, despite what he went through, what he did

  656. and got all his riches, you know. Okay, he said

  657. that Lord, if I've seen against him, I will use

  658. my war all all the things, and I will return

  659. them four for whatever that God has given me, what

  660. I built, and then this war will be used to

  661. provide covering to provide compensation so that the Lord, so

  662. that the world will know that God has done a

  663. great thing in me. What the rehab do? She was

  664. at the war and she said, what did she do

  665. with a war? She could nothing much. She did one

  666. thing she could. She lowered them and let them escape.

  667. That the one thing she could do, she lowered and

  668. letting escape.

  669. It's amazing.

  670. It's kind of funny us that things are resources, that

  671. the things that we have, because different scales are but

  672. the same concept be go men, right. So the key

  673. thing is that when we are experiencing revival, one of

  674. the things that you will encounter is that it's not

  675. just a feeling, but what is God convicting me to do?

  676. And some of you you have so much resources, and

  677. some of you you have so called wars of Jericho

  678. or wealth in the world. God is saying you cannot

  679. just leave it there. Maybe there are people in your

  680. life that you need to lower down, some people in

  681. your life that you need to forgive, compensate, reconcile until

  682. you can be revived. But if you do not reconcile

  683. with the people you need to reconcile, your revival.

  684. Is just words.

  685. You're like, yeah, I love God, but yeah, you know, come,

  686. I don't see anybody to Maybe you have not reconcilt

  687. with your parents, you know. Sometimes there's the touchy part,

  688. isn't it? Sometimes I don't. Your parents are the toughest

  689. people that you know. Our children are the toughest people

  690. that we can connect with one.

  691. It's true, isn't it.

  692. It's touchier because you know them so well and they

  693. know you so well as well. So hard, it's so

  694. so hard, it's so difficult and so challenging. I have

  695. my own story, you know, I really tell you I

  696. got but you know, time.

  697. Or share it as well. But but it's true.

  698. Sometimes maybe if you offended someone, or you someone offended

  699. you and you.

  700. Didn't really forgive.

  701. God is asking that, if salvation has come into your household,

  702. what is too.

  703. Expensive to give away?

  704. You know? I mean right, because you tied this thing,

  705. But what is still why it is.

  706. Still too expensive for you to give away? You mean? Right?

  707. Let it go? You mean right?

  708. No, do right by God and do right by the

  709. people around you, right now.

  710. That's the mark of revival people.

  711. It's not just a church singing halle lujah, but it's

  712. when the generation begins to do right by God and

  713. do right by the people. You know, I'm saying you all,

  714. that's the mark of revival. That's the mark that actually

  715. transformed the world. You know, you think just the world,

  716. just the news reporting church brain. I mean, yes, it's powerful,

  717. but how does it affect me? But when I see

  718. a man, my son, my friend, my uncle, whatever, turn around,

  719. ask for forgiveness, reconcile with me, I'm at touched. You

  720. get what I mean, right, I'm affected. I'm directly in the

  721. impact radius of this revival. You know, give this revival

  722. is exploding and I'm impacted by it. So we need

  723. a revival that actually impacts people, not just come by

  724. your inside there. You know that's really the mark. So

  725. what did you need to do? A lot of times

  726. you look at it? Who have I not reconcile? Have

  727. I withhold anything right? Sometimes even your spouse, your children,

  728. to the neighbors around me? A lot of times it

  729. could be simple a revival instead of changing the way

  730. you talk about people talking about all this while, have

  731. you been so negative or have you been generous to

  732. give the same lips that tear down people? Have you

  733. been building up people?

  734. I really believe.

  735. I hope we won't see a generation of revover that

  736. we always biting people and you know, really cutting people

  737. like you know how many times we've been so more encouraging.

  738. We are wise, we are not ignorant, but we are

  739. also kind and building with people as well. You know

  740. what I'm saying. No, it's very easier to come out

  741. to past the past the matter. I think you preach

  742. too long. Oh, by the way, I just I know,

  743. I still want to bless you. You know, we call

  744. this andy one Christians. You know, you get me right.

  745. They come to you and they give you a hush criticism,

  746. but God bless you, you know. They because the hit

  747. and round Christians. You know, we got so many or

  748. here around Christians want to know so many you hit readio,

  749. you leave the scene, say, oh, I want to criticize,

  750. But are you going to No? No, No, I'm too busy.

  751. You know. Yeah, were around Christians, you know, But it's true.

  752. It happens in the family as well. You're change your dinner.

  753. Why you choose this restaurant?

  754. Now? Oh are you paying for it? Or no? I'm

  755. not paying for it? Oh, I hit it enough. But

  756. it's true. Isn't it.

  757. But there will be one uncle, one brother, one auntie

  758. who will pay for everything, who just keep quiet by.

  759. They'll pay every year they do, you know, true or not,

  760. They just remain silent the warrior. They just bear everything

  761. year after year with the bear. They endure, the endure anddure.

  762. They're not because for you, because they know it's the

  763. right thing. They do it because it's the right thing.

  764. Nothing else Him and I. You may tear it down

  765. the moment you could, but they still do the writing

  766. because they endure something.

  767. And I'm saying a true revival will also see true endurance.

  768. You see it. But if you read the book of

  769. Sego Co written, is what did all say? You?

  770. You suffer because Christ suffers. And when you suffer as

  771. Christ suffered, you partake in its glory. Christ suffered so much,

  772. you know, And so don't despise the suffering that you

  773. go through when you have to endure.

  774. Sometimes people don't see what you go through.

  775. Sometimes you do it for your family, for your children,

  776. and you don't people don't see it. But you are

  777. enduring as Christ and yours. So don't despise as the

  778. world despise. You see what I'm saying no, so I

  779. really did believe that these are the masks of revival,

  780. the Holy Spirit working within you, making you pure, filtered,

  781. and pleasing to the lawd Amen.

  782. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  785. week is going to be a good week.

  786. I hit for you.

  787. God bless
