DR EA M if you've never heard of it before.

D stands for discipleship, R for revival, E for evangelism,

A for action, M for missions. Okay, let's speak about revival. Okay.

The way I want to speak about revival this morning

is I want to speak from First Kings, chapter eighteen,

verse twenty thirty nine. We'll read the scripture in a while,

but revival to me means fire fire, So I want

to speak about fire and how to keep being on

fire for God. All right, are you excited? Okay? Now,

let me just tell you something. Some years ago, maybe

now twenty years ago, maybe I was in Indonesia, Jakata,

and I joined together with a prem movement that was happening.

This meeting, global meeting was held in Jakarta and the final,

the finale was in a stadium. The stadium could contain

one hundred thousand people. And guess what, one hundred thousand

people or more came. It was just amazing. I've never

seen a stadium so full one hundred thousand people. Okay.

I think Malaysia doesn't even have one hundred thousand seat

stadium yet, I don't think so, I'm not even sure.

Maybe Bokijali has maybe I don't know, well, not one hundred,

no one hundred, yet one hundred thousand stadium is very

very big, many levels. Anyway, So I was there with

all the other believers praying, you know, as a Yongi cho.

Remember there was a pastor called Pasta Choyongi. I think

he changed his name from Paul Choyongi to David Choyongi. Anyway,

he was then the pastor of the largest church in

the world. I think at that time maybe eight hundred

thousand people in his church. Okay. And you know that

South Korea is known for their prayer movement right where,

you know the sort Sometimes they say, let's pray like

Korean's What it means is either the whole chest praise

or not. Have you have you been there before? Have

you have you seen it happened? Have you heard it?

So they go like, let's pray like South Korea, and

then everybody goes, oh Lord, that the whole place. Nobody

is quiet, right now, so everybody is praying together at

one go for about one two minutes, and so the

whole church sounds like sounds like some thunderstorm all right.

In fact, they're so loud that they had to ring

a bell in Toyongi's church. Everyone stops so that the

pastor now can continue leading in prayer. So the Korean prayer.

So it's taken the world by storm. So Toyongi stepped

up to the stage in front of one hundred thousand people.

I think I brought about seven of our eldest or

leaders with me to Jakata. And so he said that

the prayer movement came from Korea, so we all agreed.

He said the praise movement will come from Indonesia. So

I didn't. I wasn't quite certain then because I thought

a lot of praise was coming up from Australia. But

he says, praise will come up from Indonesia. And then,

of course, you know, I realized years later that many

many songs are being written, of course in the Indonesia

like language. But you know, okay, so prayer movement Korea,

praise movement Indonesia. Now, I don't know why I felt

so passionate. I just closed my eyes and I prayed,

Oh God, prayer was from Korea, praise from Indonesia. What

will Malaysia contribute? Just this very passionate about my own country.

I know what will Malaysia contribute? Right? And I'm praying. No, no,

there was no answer. I was praying and I was praying,

and then the Lord put it on my heart. After

about maybe three minutes five minutes, he says, Kenneth, Malaysia

will contribute passion. You will show the world how a

passionate Christian looks like. Okay, I thought that was big,

right big, because like, huh, are usual it from Malaysia?

You know? I couldn't even believe it myself. But my

eyes were still closed and I was seeing prayer. I said, Lord,

prayer from Korea, praise from Indonesia, and passion or pro

giving me message or in p passion from Malaysia. I said, wow.

And then the picture of fire came into my mind.

I was set the Malaysian Christians on fire, and you

will show the world what a Christian on fire looks

like revival. And then I opened my eyes and when

I opened my eyes, a man came running into the

stadium with a torch like the Olympics, and they had

already planned for this. I didn't even know that this

was part of the plan of the finale. So he's

running in like the Olympics to light up the big cauldron.

And he went, of course, exploded and just big fire

right in the stadium. And it load says, that's your confirmation.

You will carry fire wherever you go, and you will

see that Malaysia, the church in Malaysia will be on fire.

Can I here, good? Amen, Praise Lord. Now this is

the work of the Holy Spirit. We can't try to

generate ourselves. You can't try to go all fire account fire.

The fire is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is fire.

He will baptize us with fire. So let's read the

Word of God as we get ready to do some

teaching today about how this fire comes about. Okay, so

verse twenty or first King's eighteen. Can you turn with me.

We're going to read a couple of verses, very very

important to read the Word of God, and so verse

twenty and we're going to read all the way to

verse thirty eight, maybe thirty nine. So let's read. I'm

going to read with a little bit of speed, so

that we can make time. Ah So, Ahab said verse

twenty of first Kings eighteen. Ahab sent for all the

children of Israel, gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel,

and Elijah came to all the people and said, how

long this is? This is the first question. How long

will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God,

follow him? But if follow him? But the people answered

him not a word. Then Elijah said to the people

I alone and left the prophet of the Lord. But

Bao's prophets are four one hundred and fifty men a lot. Therefore,

let them give us two bulls, and let them choose

one bull for themselves, cut it in pieces, and laid

on the wood. But put no fire under it. Wow,

put no fire under the sacrifice. And I will prepare

the other bull and laid on the wood. I also

will put no fire under this sacrifice. Then you call

on the name of your gods, and I will call

on the name of the Lord. And the God who

answers by fire, he is God. I love this, And

the God who answers by fire, he is God. So

all the people answered and said, it is well spoken.

Now Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, choose one

bull for yourselves, and prepare it first, for you have many,

and call on the name of the of your God,

but put no fire under it. So they took the

bull which was given them, and they prepared it and

called on the name of Baal from morning even til noon, saying, oh, Baal,

hear us, But there was no voice. No one answered.

Then they leaped about the altar which they had made.

So it was at noon. Wow, there's a long time.

That Elijah mocked them and said, cry aloud, for he

is a god. Either he's meditating, or he's busy, or baby,

he's on one of those Malaysian holidays long weekends. It

isn't right that way. Or he's on a journey, you know,

or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened. So

they cried aloud and cut themselves out as was their custom,

with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on

their adui. And when midday was passed, will midday made

From morning to midday they prophesied until the time of

the offering of the evening sacrifice. That's a long time. People.

Sometimes Christians are what hours do we get? Why so long?

Wonder service? Right? These people who are serving another God

who's not God can do it all the way to

the evening. Okay. So I pray that all of us

get revived in our heart, okay, and give God our best.

But there was no voice, no one answered, no one

paid attention. Verse thirty. Then Elijah said to other people,

come near to me. So all the people came near

to him, and he repaired. Wow, he repaired the altar

of the Lord that was broken down. And Elijah took

twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of

the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the

Lord had come, saying, Israel shall be your name. Then

with the stones he built an altar in the name

of the Lord. And he made a trench, a trench

like a drain around the altar, large enough to hold

two SI's of seed. And he put the wood in order,

cut the bull in pieces, and laid it on the wood,

and said, feel four water pots. Fill four water pots

with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice and

on the wood that he said, do it a second time,

And they did it. A second time, and he said,

do it a third time, and they did it a

third time. So the water ran all around the altar,

and he also filled the trench with water. And it

came to pass at the time of the offering of

the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the Prophet came near and said, Lord,

God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let him known this

day that you are God in Israel, and I am

your servant, and that I have done all these things

at your word. Oh I got to read that again.

I have done all these things at your word. Hear me,

Oh Lord, hear me, that these people may know that

you are the Lord God, and that you have turned

their hearts back to you again.

Then the fire of the Lord whoa fell and consume

the burns scrifice, and the word, and the stones and

the dust, and it licked up the water that was

in the trench.

Now, when all the people saw it, they fell on

their faces, and they said, the Lord he is God,

The Lord he is God. God bless the reading of

his precious, precious word. Let's look at the next slide.

Let the God who answers by fire be God. We

read this earlier. Let the God who answers by fire

be God. I want to say to all of you

this morning that our God, the God that we serve,

is the God who answers by fire. Think about it

for a moment. That means when you prayer, if he's

a God that answers by fire, means whatever that you

are praying for and whatever that you will receive will

not only come as it is, it will come with fire.

Because God God, when he answers, he's the God that

answers by fire. So when he answers, for example, you're saying, God,

please give me a promotion. He gives the promotion, but

with fire, because what's good? What's good with the promotion?

If he doesn't come with passion, You say, God, give

me one million, maybe ten million, And God is about

to answer that, But because he's a God that answers

by fire, he will answer that with fire, because what's

the use of being rich without being on fire? You say, God,

please open the door for me to my grade to Australia.

He might answer that, and if he does, he will

answer it by fire. Because I've seen many Christians migrate

not just to Australia, but anywhere else in the world,

and when they lose their fire, they're as good as nothing,

except that they're having a comfortable life. But what's the

use of a comfortable life without God? They might be

elders here, pastors, heren't even know. But where they go

there Australia just sucks out the fire from them. So

God doesn't just give you the migration, He says, if

you go to migrate my grade, for me and for

my glory otherwids, why, my great, you're probably doing better here.

A lot of our friends who have migrated are no

longer serving the Lord, no longer in church. Even why

because when they got the answer, they've got the migration

papers and the approval, But no fire? Are you? Also?

You mean, God, give me a spouse? Right? First of all,

you want a spouse who's on fire for God? Yes,

come on, hallelujah. You want a spouse who's on fire

for God? Yeah, good day, you say amen. But you

don't just ask for a spouse do's on fire? Be

on fire, because if you marry a spouse to do

on fire and you are not on fire, that spouse

will burn you up. You know, it's not going to

be a good life. It's called unequally yoked in the

Bible with me, my wife and I. You know, when

I was praying for wife, when I was praying for Bassandra, uh,

you know, I wanted to make sure that she's not

only beautiful because she is. Yeah, my wife is still

beautiful in the today. You know, in fact, she's more.

She's getting more and more beautiful by the day. Please

let her know that I see it. But I tell

you what, her fire has never stopped. In fact, when

you're around her, you feel like you know you're you're

catching her fire. You know, fire is very contagious. And

I pray that I'm the right man for her because

my fire is also you know, hopefully on par with hers,

if not more. It's very important otherwise you cannot last

thirty one years serving the lot together very hard. Amen,

So you wouln't got to answer your prayer, but you

want to him to answer with come on fire, because

he's the god who answers by Jesus said, I came

to send fire on the earth, And how I wish

it were already killed kindle, How Jesus is how I wish?

It means that Jesus also God wish or no, And

I say it's jesus birthday. Jesus was your wish on

your birthday? And Jesus says, I wish you were all

on fire. I came to send fire on the earth,

and how I wish he were already kindled. Come on,

X share us. Let's answer God's wish. Let's answer his wish. Yes, Lord,

your wish will come true through X share us. You

know why fire is so amazing. You know why God

wants us to be on fire. You know why fire

is so precious and powerful because fire changes everything it touches.

I've not seen anything like fire. Fire, if it comes

into this roomor nothing will remain the same. Water can

still like you just wipe it away. Huh what they

hit your clothes? You take your clothes and put it

in the dryer, right, put it out in the sun.

It drives, then it looks back to normal. But you

know that fire will come into this room and nothing

will remain the same. Even metal will become hot. Nothing,

there's nothing on your body when fire touches that it

will remain the same. Your hair will burn, your glasses

will go, You'll watch nothing. Your money in your pocket

your your your wallet, everything, your handful gone, your car gone,

just your house gone. You mean, fire is crazy, but

it's what God wants us to be because when we

are on fire, whatever we touch changes. That's how you

change your school, That's how you change your office, that's

how you change your family. But the truth is, there

can be Christians who are not on fire. And that's

that's why nothing changes you with me, your colleagues, the

students that you teach in school. You can either have

a teacher or a teacher on fire. You know why

Malaysia will change because there are people in Malaysia who

are on fire for God. Maybe. Okay, wait, it's not

how much you can talk now, that's how on fire

you we are. I pray in the name of Jesus

a share us. You will be on fire today and

the fire of God will just come upon you and

you will never be the same. And only will you

never be the same, the people around you will never

be the same. In Jesus name, I feel God presence

already here. Who will give us this fire? Jesus said,

the Holy Spirit. He will baptize you with the Holy

Spirit and and fire. Another thing about fire is and

I want to encourage all of you. It doesn't need

to change with the stages or status of life. It

doesn't need to change. You can be young and on fire,

old and on fire. We are people who are very

young in his room, and we are people who are matured. Okay,

hair white already. Okay, many years you have lived on

this earth. But you know what, our fire doesn't have

to change. Some people will say, oh, Pasa, you don't understand.

When I was a young person, I really did this.

I did that. I served, I went to cams, I jumped,

when I was singing, I dance. I did it all

when I was young. Now you see, I'm old, right.

I don't clap my hands like that anymore. I don't

dance anymore. I don't go to missions anymore. I've done

it all in my young You mean, only when you

are young, you're on fire? Where's your fire? That's why

I really like to you know. So you call it

anti Taihanga, I call her sister, But you know, I

really you know this, this Tihong lady, she's on fire.

And I'm telling you really, really, really really and anyone

who just talked to her five minutes so you know,

she's on fire, you know, and and I appreciate you know, fire,

you keep burning. He's not He's not the energy you

need outside it's not oh you know, yeah, for sure

a young person and an older person the energy level

will be different for sure. Okay, yeah, maybe they can't

jump as high, but fire. You know. I was in Singapore.

I was invited to this dinner and I didn't know

how special it was. I die arrived. You see a pole.

It was organized by this Christian millionaire who was hosting

a man who is with the lot. Now he's no

longer here, but this man's name is Ryan hut Bonke.

And right now, Bonk was like Billy Graham. Right now,

Bonk was one of the biggest evangelists in the world.

He led seventy million people to christ okay uh and

Billy Graham, I'm sorry. Right Bonke was there at that

dinner and he was trying to share to the businessman

in Sapore, you know, about his work, and he was

about to pass on his mantle to the second man.

His name is Daniel Colenda. And at the time when

I was sitting for Daniel Colenda, he was only about

thirty years old and Daniel will take over my place.

And I think at that time, right Bonk was seventy two.

So the dinner table was very private. One dinner table,

ten seats, and I was there so privileged. No, I

praise God for that because Ryan Bok is one of

my heroes. And right up, remember he said this, Yes,

I am seventy two. He speak said, I know I

am said no, with some German excent, I am seventy two.

But I tell you what I remember, like it was yesterday.

There may be snow on the roof, you know what

he means, white, Hey, there may be snow on the roof,

but in the fireplace there is fire. Any just talking

like that in seventy two, snow on the roof. Mine

is snow on the jung gout. There might be snow

on the junkgut. But I pray the name of Jesus

until however, all until I see Jesus, there will be

fire in the fireplace. That's where people keep warm. That's

where people come around that fire. You know, you want

to draw people to Christ. Let them come to the

fire a man you wanna draw, you see side to Christ.

Let them come around the fire. That's called ex chaerus

the fireplace. Amen. Fire doesn't need to change. So now

that you bought the question, we want this fire right,

we want this fire right? Actually ask how to attract

God's fire? Okay, now question A lot of people say, wow, God,

you did it before in First King's eighteen. Do it again, please? Right?

So the question is where's the God of You're like, yeah,

where are you God? God? Why don't you do the

same thing you did before? Do it now? Hey? Imagine

you know God's fire coming to parliament? Why I tell

you all the laws will be different now the fire

of God come upon the Iran war, you know, But

tell you where are you God? Where? Hello? Where are you?

That's not the question because God has never gone anywhere.

He Brews the teen verse eight says, what he is

the same Jesus Christ, the same yes day today, and

he never changes. He's never left. You know who left?

You know who changed? You know who forgot? Yeah, So

the question should be where's Elijah? Because if you can

find Elijah, the God of Elijah will shure, are there

elijahs in this room? Are there elijahs in this room?

I pray that I can be like Elijah. I pray

the name of Jesus again, Lord, that you will make

everyone here and Elijah in this modern day, modern day

elijahs arise, arise in this room, a rise exterer us

be the modern day Elijah, because God will answer Elijah. Okay,

five characteristics, Elijah, i' mean x rs S right, I

call you Elijah. I want to this confess your destiny. Hall.

Only are five characteristics. Are you ready? Number one? If

you want the fire every day to be strong and

fresh in you, choose choose you this day, Josh or

twenty four Verse fifteen. Choose you this day, whom you

will serve this day? Every day, Give us this day

our daily break. He's going to be daily folks. Every day,

choose God. Can I just give you a simple instruction,

simple encouragement. Every day choose God will come in the morning.

Please choose Him first. Choose Him first, don't choose your

handphone first. Now I know their days where they are

very very important messages, very very very urgent messages. You

know someone's in the hospital, someone is dying, or whatever

it is, someone met with accident. Okay, yeah, fine, go

to your headphone. But many other days there's not such urgencies,

not such emergencies, so you don't have to look into

your handphone first. But it's a habit, you see, in fact,

more than a habit. That he's become addiction. Addiction, addiction. Okay,

I pray that Jesus will become your addiction, the man

I'm addicted to Jesus, you know, you know, I'm just addicted. Means.

drawn to him. You can't live without him, you know. Good.

I want you to choose. Now, let me tell you

a quick story. There is a lady in ex Is Kanda.

Her name is Cheryl. Cheryl is the wife of Pastor

Paul all Right, who is the church plant coordinator for

x Is Kanda. When their firstborn girl came into their lives.

Of course, as new parents, you know, we have got

dreams of how we want our children to grow, desires

of how we want to raise our children. So this

lady called Cheryl true sorry, she told me this story herself.

She said, Pastor, when my baby was in my arms,

I chose to give her the best. So she looked

at her daughter. She said, I'm going to give you

milk on demand. You know what I means, milk on demand?

Just crime is get, crime is get, crime is get,

crime is on demand on demand, and it's got to

be mother's breast milk on demand okay, because of closeness

and uh you know, bonding or okay, mother, Okay, some

older mothers are probably that you ache be realistic, okay,

but every new mother will have their own choice. Okay.

It's very hard to break their choice out. It goes, no,

this is my child, Why you want to tell me

what to do? Okay? So they got their own choice

on until later on they find out the reality. Then

they go like asking other mothers, how do you do that? Okay?

But before that is all very high and lofty dreams

and desires okay. So anyway, she says, on demand mother's

breast milk is the best. Okay, this is the only

thing I had to happen. She went to church, okay,

and whenever the preacher this is har story and not mine.

Whenever the preacher will come up about the kamama, the

daughter will cry so on the mama she made a choice,

so she would take the baby out and feed as

you either come back halfway through the message or don't

come back at all. Because outside there, as she's feeding,

she's meeting other mothers, and then suddenly a nice fellowship

was everything outside there. Okay, do you know why some

people go out there and never come back because things

are happening out there. Okay, so don't be so easily distracted.

Come on all right, focus in. This is the word

of God. It will feed you, okay, Jesus is feed

my sheep. So every Sunday she says, past I kid you,

not I kid you. Not only when the preacher comes out,

she cries, and it can be any preacher, not like

she's she had a you know, yeah preference. You know,

of course you're too young, so anyway, so any preacher,

every preacher. Okay. This went on for ten weeks something

like that. Okay, it's a long time, and then she

felt so dry. After about three months, a mother Cheryl

felt dry in her spirit. She said, I know, you know,

why are young mothers write Monday to Friday? They are

still learning to your mothers, they're quiet time or so

they don't do you know, they're not really really reading

their Bible. I mean, you give them, cut down them

some slack because it's not easy being a new mom. Okay,

so she's she's like trying to organize her life, you know,

no time to read Bible or that. So the only

time she can receive anything is come on church on Sunday.

But she's not receiving it, so therefore she is spiritually

try So then she said, God, I'm so dry. My

baby keeps crying at every message. However, you started the message,

he's crying. God help me. And God said to her,

if you are dry, mummy, mummy, if you are dry,

what are you feeding your child? That milk goes out,

but it's not mixed with a spiritual blessing. And that's

why when children just only take physical milk, not the

spiritual milk, what happens is that they grow up in

a way that parents go. I thought I was a Christian,

but he's because you don't understand that your whole being

is body, soul, and spirit. And when she releases milk

to her baby, yes it might just look physical, but

there is spiritual mixture to it. And God challenged her

and said, what are you feeding your baby? Really? And

there on that day she made a child my choice choose.

She already made a choice. I will feed her on

demand breast milk. She already made her a thought of

you in this room, you already made your choice. Say,

don't tell me what to do. I'm not telling you

what to do. I'm saying, open your heart to hear

what God is telling you do. And God said to her, Cheryl,

if you would choose me first, I will show you.

Because we either just live by faith, not by sight.

Too many Christians are living by sight their own calculations.

God is saying, live by faith means live according to

my word. A man faith comes by hearing and hearing

by the word of God. Okay, so Cheryl decided, I

will pump my milk into a bottle, and if she

cries again, I am going to feed her. Right, but

this mummy ain't going to remain dry anymore. I'm gonna

sit and receive the word of God, because the more

I receive, the more I am on fire, the more

I am nourished by God, the more I am full

in Christ, the more I can give my baby. I'm

not gonna shot change my baby just with milk. You

don't have to be a Christian mother to just give milk.

Every mother gives milk, right, what's the difference between a

Christian mother? Then? Must be more. I got good news

after just a few weeks. The baby stopped crying, got

showed up because the mother made a stand. She chose God.

And not only that. Now the eldest daughter is fourteen

going on fifteen, and the youngest one is They got

two daughters. The youngest one is about twelve going on

to teen, okay, and both of them are serving the

Lord in church. Cheryl is taking care of ex kids

and both her daughters are serving with her. They love kids.

I've met them and I thought to myself, they have

grown up so well. My word, I won't be surpriser

if they go and serve God full time because they

just love Jesus so much. The two daughters, they never

cause any problems with their parents and every Sunday, do

you know why the church is so so small? And

when we were smaller, they were the only two young

people never complain. Just love God. You know why? Because

their mother chose God. So the fire now not only

feels the mom's heart it feels the children's heart as well.

Do you understand this? Choose God the fire will continue

to burn. Number two challenge, Take the bull, cut them

in pieces, but put no fire under it. If you

and I want to remain on fire, or at least

if you don't have the fire today, then you will

attract the fire by taking up the challenges that God

has brought to your life. Don't be a Christian and

who want to live just a comfortable life. God will

not want us just to live comfortable lives. You know,

you know I tell you all of us go to Heaven, right,

all of us believers in this room are go to Heaven.

You know how comfortable Heaven will be, even be for

the rest of your life. So don't look for comfort

here on earth. Look for challenges. They will keep your

fire burning, not challenges in the world, challenges from God.

You know that God challenged Cheryl and she took it up.

What is God challenging you to do? What is he

challenging me to do? And if you forsake the challenges

of God, after a while your fire will start dying.

Are you all stay with me? Give you a quick

story so you know that I graduated as a lawyer.

God called me to serve him and so I started

serving him, but without any money. Okay, the law says

to me, don't worry, Kenneth, I will supply your needs. Okay.

So now for thirty five years I've not received a salary.

So people go to I wonder, how does a man

live without a salary? Well, God provides, and then of

course when you see my size, you know he provides

very well. God is good. Okay, thirty five years of

living by faith, so many stories to tell you. You know

how the Lord provides, patrol provides, this provides, that is

that's amazing. That's why I even with the war in Iran,

I'm not really afraid because He's provided for me thirty

five years without a salary. So even when the patrol

prices go up, I'm God at God, you provided for

me at two fifty, you provided for me at three seventy,

you provide for me at five fifty. Is your eyes

on the number going up? Or is your eyes on

the Lord? Come on better? Getting back on the Lord.

Don't worry? What to do? You got any power to

go and change the warway? Goda? No, you don't have

power to change the war. But you have you are

a child of God. Amen, So there's nothing to fear. Seriously,

I'm telling you right now, okay, now of course, how

are you going like? Oh, I'm thank good that I

have ev evy car, right Eve car, So I have

nothing to fear, you know. Then you realize that you

also have to you know, charge your ev anyway, don't

worry about things you have no control of. Don't worry

about things you have no control of. What are you

in control of? Your own faith, the fire in your heart. Amen,

all of you made a decision to come here this morning.

That was you in control of that. So continue to

live your life by the control that you have. That's

your part to play. Leave the rest to God. Come on, challenge.

So this is the thing. I live without a salary

for so many years. But God has been so good

to me. Have a house, two cars, you know, and

God is good. My wife is well, my family is blessed.

We travel the world. We have started churches now in

ten nations. God God, God to God be the glory.

to be a leader. I don't know. So I caught

my uncle. He came and got the car, very happy,

if you bring a gift before the Lord and you

quiet time this morning, I don't know how many hands

will go up. That's why I'm not going to ask.

I tell you I was like many of you. I

as a pastor, Pastor Gloria, I was struggling to do

my quieter. Let me be very honest. Okay, I'm leading

a church that is considered you know, one of the

mega churches in Malaysia actually is considered what the thousand,

five hundred people are here in care and then, by

the grace of God, we are also leading fifty five

churches around the world. This man doesn't do his quiet time. Gloria,

if you were one of my pastors in Africa and

you knew that your pastor here in Malaysia that gives

direction doesn't even spend time with God, I don't know

what you think. That's why it supprimes. We're quiet about

it because we don't there. We don't dare tell people

what direction, what download from the Lord? Right? How does

this guy download? He doesn't even spend time with God.

So I can I confess to you I was struggling.

I confessed to you I was struggling for years. Sometimes

I do once a week, once a week or so,

twenty minutes, maybe one chapter of the Bible I read.

Sometimes you are day that week is a good WEEKA

three times Okay, haven't done one hour in God's presence

for a long time. And yet I know the scripture

says when Jesus brought three of his disciples to go

and pray with him at the garden. They fell asleep, right,

and when he got up, he said, can you wait

with me one hour? So the Lord's plan for all

of us is at least one hour. Can you wait

with me one hour? They were so sleepy, right, three

times you came. All three was okay, like many of

us are. I understand. I totally understand. I'm not even

speaking out with judgment. I'm speaking with understanding. I understand

how you say, oh yeah, I do't want to do

it in the morning, I want to do it, and

then not even words because you come back so th idea,

I shure, forget you remembers you have no power to

do it. Okay, So can I can I just tell

you this. I pray for a revival of quiet times

in this room. I pray for revival of quiet times

in this room. I asked for God's help. So this

is why I did. I was so convinced and so

convicted by the Holy Spirit. I said, God, please, number one,

You've got to be honest with the lolla. Lord. I

am struggling. I am No one knows that I'm struggling.

Only you and me, of course, and maybe my wife,

my wife was, okay, see that I don't spend time

right in the mornings. I said, Holy Spirit, I was

so convicted. I said, please help me to do my

quiet time. Please help me Lord wake up in the morning.

I find it so hard to wake up in the morning,

especially those of us who slip late. Run. And I

know that many of you who sleep late, uh these

days with a handful and augasava okay, Internet blah blah blah, okay,

social media, we sleep late. It's like become part of

our lives. My wife washes clothes at two o'clock in

the morning because that's the only time she can wash

because she's so busy during the day. She comes where

she washed close at two o clod the morney and yeah,

three o'clos that she goes back down to go and

hang the closes out and she wears all white handlong.

My neighbors have all moved out. Now I'm kidding, No,

but I'm not. I'm not. I'm not kidding about she

washing closes the two clad money. I'm not kidding. Last

time she did it again last night, it was more

like twelve midnight. I think she slept earlier. Plus she

slept earlier. My wife. My wife's earliest that she sleeps

about thirty one o'clock in the morning, and then sometimes

she goes up up to about three o'clock. So I've

won her lovingly. A few times, I said, we are

very close to sixteen now, so please please, let's take

care of our health. As she's listening slowly but surely.

But yeah, so we sleeplate how to wake up early?

Holy Spirit, please help us help me, God help me.

I tell you what. The Holy Spirit came and helped me.

The fire of God came and changed my life. When

did he change? Year two thy twenty? Okay, twenty twenty,

the year of the pandemic. The Holy speak came visited

me and five six years later, I have not missed

a single day. When the Holy Spirit wants to help

you out, he helps you. I know, even on holiday,

my friends, I get woken up if I didn't. But

I don't want to argue with the Holy Spirit, like

Holy spee please, I'm on holiday, right, I don't argue

with the Holy speacause are you just have to miss one, two, three,

four and you miss the recid You know, you just

have to miss one week? And then the momentum can already. Yeah,

it's like exercise. Exercise you missed one week, two weeks.

How to get back to walking right, how to go

back to go back to the gym? Concert crate means

set your life apart. Can I just prayer quickly, God,

in the name of Jesus, help us Holy Spirit, help

us all in this room, revive our quiet time. Help

us get up in the morning, even though it can

be raining. It is raining, the bed feels more comfortable,

the pillow feels like heaven. Even then, Lord, help us

get up, so that we can set time aside and

set our lives aside for you, and that we can

hear you in Jesus name. You know why. Shepherd's good

cheps bring their sheep out to graze the grass in

the early morning because early morning in Jerusalem, in Israel,

early morning they have dew dew on the grass. So

when the sheep goes out to m m yam dam

yum yum yum, they don't just eat dry grass. They

eat grass with dew, so they for the rest of

the day they are nourished. Shepherds that don't really know

understand what to do. They take their sheep anytime, and

now the grass is dry by the afternoon, and so

they need more water throughout the day. I pray that

all of you, in the name of Jesus, will learn

how to take not only the grass, but the dew.

The dew from heaven a man haunts secret. Now, let

me talk very quickly about the preparation of life. Preparation

is as, if not more important than the presentation. Do

you agree? So I want to just say this to

you before I draw to a close. The life of

a Christian is the life of preparation. I give you

just a few analogies or a few examples. If you

woke up this morning and you prepare your heart already

by singing straight out of your bed into your bathroom

when you're dressing up, you were already preparing your heart.

Can I tell you this that when you started the

worship right only how many how long? Here thirty minutes

right there singing thirty minutes, But a lot of you

because you don't start early, you don't prepare your heart.

You have to prepare now, and so you find it

hard to start your engine, and so people are not

clapping until the last song. People are not singing, listening

up their hands until the last song, because they took

the first tree to walk up. So Christians, if you

want to get the best of church, best of worship,

best of anything in life, please prepare, because preparation is

even more important than presentation. I give you another example.

Your exam is only for three hours, but you studied

for three years. Your marathon is only for three hours,

but you prepared for the marathon for one year. At least.

Your wedding is only forty five minutes, but you know

how long? Especially the girl prepared. I say especially the girl.

Most brides who lose weight right because they want to

get into address that they will never get into ten

years from now. The guy, you know is simple, it's

all black, right. But the guy also has to prepare.

Do you know how long you have to take to

book the venue? People are booking it one year or

more in advance. But how long is the wedding on

Give to God, not just what you want, but what

he wants. Okay, as I close the third point, I

want to just very quickly say to you, the fire

came down finally, yes or no? Yes? No? What did

he say in the Bible The fire came down and

consumed her sacrifice. Yes, it also burned up the wood. Hey, hello,

We are calling on the name of the Lord. Elijah call,

oh Lord, Oh Lord. Hear me, hear me. Lord. He

called on the name of the Lord. But you know

what happened. He says that he called and he said, God,

all this I have done according to your word. It

is at your word. Very important, pass Gloria. When we

calling on the name of the Lord. And you know what.

must always remember when you call according to the word.

pray according to his will, we know that he will

answer us. This is very important because sometimes Christians may

not be praying in accordance with God's word. I give

you just one example. Okay, before we end, just one example.

Does the Bible tell us to pray for the horvest?

If you read your Bible carefully, he doesn't say that.

So a lot of Christians are praying for the harvest.

Jesus says, reap the hovest. So I when the Lord

reveal this to me, He revealed to me a Christians

standing from the hovest. The hoves is being ripe and ready.

And it is, in fact, the Bible says, are white

at the horse. You know, white means what not. It

is really too maturity is going to die if you

don't save it now. But I see a lot of

Christians standing here. Oh Lord, give us the hours, Oh Lord,

give us the hours. No, the Lord never say give

us the hoves. The Lord said, go in and read.

The only time Jesus say is pray. He said, pray

to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers. Now

you understand why even as Christians, we can pray very passionately,

but we may not pray according to his word. I

got others to share with you, but I wouldn't because

there's no more time. Recently, the Lord told me, Kenneth,

I never asked you to go and pray for the sick.

That this one is a bit controversial. I never asked

you to pray for the sick. I asked you to

heal the sick. Feel you see phally give ten Matthew

ten verse eight before he said freel you if really give,

he said, heal the sick, raise the dad, cleanse the leperds,

cast out demons. There say, pray for demons. So sometimes

we we Christians don't really live according to the Word.

We think we live according to the Word. So we

we pray the demons will be cast out. Actually no,

he said cast out. We pray for the sake. Actually

he said, heal the sick. M hm. So I've changed

my life and my ministry to be more aligned with

God's word. So when I go for people, I pray

for people. Now let's say they're not well, I just say,

oh God, I pray, oh God, please, oh God. No,

I just go Lord you send me to heal her.

So I now bring your healing to her. I bring

your healing to her. I release your healing to her.

You be healed. Now, be healed now in Jesus, you

know you just go in heal pray at home, but

when you are standing before a sick person, don't keep praying.

He did say, pray for his sake. He said, heal

the sick. So your word. So Elijah is crying out.

And he was confident because he did everything, repairing the

altar and all that, and putting water on the sacrifice.

He did all according to God's word. And now he's confident.

Past the gloria and the leadership team here, you be

confident that college students will come because we're doing it

according to his. Last one last one is cause. Cause

you can find in verse thirty seven. Turn their hearts

back to you verse thirty nine. So when the people

saw it, they fell on their faces and said, the

Lord he is God. The Lord he is God. Cause

means what means, everything that we do we must do

with purpose, do with a cause. The reason why sometimes

God doesn't answer our prayer and fire doesn't come is

because we don't really know why we're praying. We don't

really know why we want this that we're praying for.

We don't really know why we need a miracle. We

don't really know why we need healing. We don't really

know why we need a breakthrough. Actually, at the end

of the day, is so that others may come to

know Him. Can you hear good? Amen? Christian, Stop being selfish.

I just pray for yourself me. When you want God

to bless you, say God, bless me so that my

neighbors can see you. Please, it shouldn't be such a

selfish prayer. Only you, only you only know. Lord. Give

me good grades so that my friends can know that

you are with me. God, give me a peaceful house,

no argument, so that my neighbors. God, promote me in

the company, not just for me. Promote me the company

so that my colleagues can see that you are God.

There is a cause and this is what you like.

Just said, Lord, do this so that the people's hearts

can be turned back to you.
