Genesis one, verse one tells me one. It just says this.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, Genesis,

chapter one, verse one.

We all know that.

And maybe a paraphrase version, how it would sound like

it's something like this, a long time ago, when nothing

else existed, the God who had always been there, brought

into being the entire universe, everything in outer space and

planet Earth. Okay, that's a paraphrase, I think a good

paraphrase of what Genesis one, verse one actually means. So

I'm going to try to express and explain this verse

in today's language and why I can so confidently tell

them that if you ask me, why is it I

believe in God, it is because of this very one

verse that was stated in those holy scriptures. And so

if you read the early chapters of Genesis, it has

become actually a source of almost like arguments. No for people,

people are always arguing about Genesis. Uh, it's not really

a place where you find answers. So all sorts of

questions have been brought up from reading Genesis. No, people

ask me questions like who made God? Of course they

expect to find their answers in Genesis. Do you know

that question actually is a very oxymoronic question. It doesn't

make sense who made God? It's like asking what's the

squares a girl? That it doesn't make sense, And I

will explain it as we go along. Because God is creator.

You can't ask who made the creator.

No.

Then then I used to get I know, questions like them,

did Adam have a navel?

Actually I don't know.

I mean, okay, legit question did Adam have a nagbl

I mean the first person? Technically he was not connected

to a mother.

I don't know.

Seriously, when you get to heaven you ask Adam to

live up his rope Pleruh? And noether he has a

nable or not?

I don't know.

Okay, But Genesis one, like I said, Uh, I believe

was to give us answers, not to start arguments.

Uh.

It's said that it's become such a controversial, almost like

a battle field, because a lot of conflicts has a

reason out of these verses in Genesis. But the first

sentence of the Bible has to be true because if

the first sentence of the Bible is a lie. The

rest of the Bible is a lie. That is my conviction.

And so why then go way back to the very

beginning of our universe? How is that going to help

me today? Some people ask, how is that going to

help me in twenty twenty six when I am going

through unemployment?

How is that going to help me?

When I'm going to the country is going through recession,

there's inflation, that's a nuclear war that's about to break out.

What is what is the possible.

Connection between the very beginning of our universe and where

I am now? Well, let's let me just give you

two thoughts, Okay, two thoughts. The first thought is this,

the past is always the key to the present. Do

you believe that? I believe that. So what you will

will determine determine what you are. And that's why when

you apply for jobs usually what happens you need to

submit a reference a reference letter. They will want to

know where you are coming from so that they can

sort of tell what you will be like, and then

they will know what you are likely to be in

their organization. Right, So, the past does affect our presence.

Not only that, the past also is key to the

future because where you come from usually indicates where you

will be going, and so it's important.

Awful lot of things actually hangs on this.

The present and the future are both tied back to

the beginning, both tied back to the past, and so

if you don't have the beginning right, you will probably

misinterpret the present and the future, and then you get

everything else wrong after that. And this is that not

cover all of our lives, past, present and future. And

that's why I think it's so important sometimes we bring

people back to the beginning because from the beginning we

can derive answers. Is that not what revival is about.

Revive back to God's original intention for us?

Because who are we? We are his creation? Said that we.

Believe it or we don't. You know, I shared with

the teens a week ago. I believe the scriptures are

really God's worth, really and you need to study it

for yourself how it came about, because some people still doubt.

I don't know whether there's God's I don't know. You

think the scriptures has came out nowhere, popped out into

the printing press, and then people started public uh, no,

started all these publications. No, it was really, it's a

miracle that we have God's worth today in the form

that we have it. But this is nothing that man

has done. This is everything that God has done to

make sure that his word is preserved so that today

we can go to it. Okay, So in essence, all

of us will ask questions like who am I? How

did I get here? And they are also asking the

same bas questions like how come all these things around

me needs to happen? This is all a battle in

our minds. And the people who believe the first sentence

in the Bible are actually a very small minority in

the world today, really in the modern world at least,

because there are many other answers as to some of

the questions that I just asked.

Know where am I? How they I come from?

All sorts of questions, But we are The truth is,

we are constantly bombarded true mass media. We are taught

in schools all sorts of different things. We go into

the internet, that's everything that's in there. There's a battle

for the mind that is ongoing. And so why should

such a battle be so important? Some Christians and be like,

let's just stay out of it. No, we cannot stay

out of it, because I tell you what. The mind

is the key to the men. And if you can

capture a man's mind, you have got the person. Because

proverb tells us, as a man thinks in his heart,

so is he see The thing is the man thinks

with not just his mind, by things with his heart.

But the thinking faculty is from here. But this has

to connect with this, and that's what the scriptures do.

So the kind of thing that you are constantly thinking

about will determine the kind of person that you are.

And so the Bible also tells us that we are

not to be chameleons, but to be caterpillars.

Ok.

I'll explain this. If you read Romans chapter twelve versus two.

I think it says, uh, don't be conformed to the

world around you.

Romans chapter twelve. I think it's verse two.

The word conform is actually a very similar word used

to describe what chameleons are. You know what a chameleon is.

It's a teacher, It's a lizard. It's a lizard that

takes the color of its surroundings. Put mister chamelion on

this music stand, it turns black. If you put mister

chamelion on the floor, it probably turns baite.

I don't know if you put it on.

I don't know you put it on Eugen's, but you

probably explode because there's too many colors.

Uh.

Yeah, but that's why a chamelion is a chameleon takes

on uh, the surrounding. It's always conforming to the surrounding.

Where else a caterpillar? Ah, okay, caterpillar because it says,

don't be conformed, but be transform. Okay, the word transform

is the other words. Actually the exact word is the

word metter morphosis.

Ever heard of that word?

A lot of you return it back to your biology teacher,

because that's what you learn about how a caterpillar becomes

a butterfly through the whole it becomes goes into a

cocoon stage. Well, it is meto more for sizing. So

basically it is being transform and usually what happens that

it changes from the inside. From the inside. Why in

the cocoon, within the cocoon, change is actually happening. The

mind is a very very powerful thing, and we need

to allow the change to first take place in the

mind and then you will see it changing us all together.

And so that is really what we are going to

try and do in this chapter, this verse, this first verse,

because it's so easy to pick up the world's thinking

and not let our minds be independent inside. See, the

battle for the mind is basically the battle for souls

for the man. So if you really love people, if

you really love souls, that I pray Genesis one one

is the scripture that you hold on to dear life,

because you see, the whole business between science and scripture

has to be explained. It has to be both are

looking at the same event, and the event that we

are looking at is in the beginning. It's basically we

are looking at the beginning of the world. So science

is looking at the visible part of what is happening.

It is looking at every part of the event that

can be seen, and it is describing how they interact,

how they affect each other, whereas scripture is looking at

the part that cannot be seen.

It's actually very very different.

So if science should be saying how and when certain

things happen, which is what science usually tries to describe,

how did it happen, When does it happen, what's happening?

Then scripture, on the other hand is telling you who

and why. Actually, they are very different commentaries. That's why

some people argue, why can't the scriptures answer scientific kind

of questions. They're on different premise, they're looking at different things,

and so you would expect, therefore that scripture and science

would always agree, But they don't always agree, and that

it's not always the case. They are both describing the

same thing and the same God we believe made the

world and his word, and therefore they ought to agree.

Because God is a god of truth. Then why should

science and scripture ever disagree. It's a question that we

have to ask. Why should there be so much controversial

controversy about Genesis? Well, because it's a battle over facts.

People are battling over facts. Signs will tell you the

earth is billions of years and then Genesis says that

in less than one way human history was created. Okay,

how do you reconcilet some of these things? No, it

doesn't seem to tie up. It is a difference of

fact because they both can be right which is right?

And whenever you come up against that differences, both sides

have to ask these signs really prove that? And of

course then you have to go back to scriptures and

ask did scripture really say that we have.

To go back to all these things? Ultimately?

Ultimately you want me to sum up what the entire

warfare is is in this statement, did something produce someone?

Or did someone produce something? Makes sense? I repeated that

did something produce someone? Or did someone produce something? You

can't really sit on the fence on this. You can,

of course, choose not to care, which is what majority

of us that who cares whether something produced someone or

someone produced something? But I assure you it will affect

how you live your life depending on what you choose.

Either we believe that something matter, energy, or whatever you like,

was always there and produce someone and the personality was

produced by things, or we believe that someone was there,

always there, who produce something. I'm putting it as simply

as I can. Another perspective is actually between choice and chance.

When we read the scriptures, we do not believe it

is by chance that the beginning happened. We believe it

was choice that got it all started. Because if you

study science and you read certain different theories, and I

can tell you evolution is not a scientifically proven theory.

Who can scientifically prove it. Unless you tell me you

were there at the beginning, no one can. It's a theory.

So but it's a theory that says that we all

started by chance.

We else.

If you read the scriptures, you'll find that choice was involved,

and God made a choice. And so you will find

that those who believe that something was always here and

produce someone will live by luck. Really, they will appeal

to chance, very normal. They will say the best of

luck to you. And those who believe that someone produced

something will say, this universe is my home because this

is the creation of my abba father. It is his

wonderful work. That's just the difference, the main contrast. And

so it will have a bearing on your daily life.

You understand me.

You will either get up and believe that you are

in God's world and that He's in charge of it all,

and he's in charge therefore of your life, or you

will get up and say, well, I hope I will

have better luck today. Think about it, eh, think about

it now. Let's see what the first verse of Genesis

chapter one is telling us. Because this is the sentence

that convinces me that God is real. Did you know

that you will not find that sentence anywhere else in

this world. No other religion quotes it like this. In fact,

none come close. So this teaching is only something that

you see in Genesis, chapter one, verse one. So let's

look at it in the beginning. It's quite a radical statement.

We tend to read it sometimes as once upon a time,

but it doesn't read once upon a time. It reads

in the beginning. It's not a beginning of a fairy tale.

It is actually stating that our universe has not been

around forever and yet actually most people believe that this

universe is eternal. We are wrong if we think that way.

So right with the first verse, you are actually faced

with faith reading. Basically, the faith that you need to

have is God was a ready even before there was

any beginning. God is a radi. And that's why sometimes

people ask me, what's another word? Is there another name

for God? And I will tell them already.

Already. He is the originator. You know. I remember God

saying this to Job.

If you read job, Job was someone who had a

lot of questions, and rightfully so he went to hell

really and back, and then he asked God a lot

of questions because he was also instigated by the mass media.

His friends know. They were telling him this and that

and this and then and then at the end of it,

kept questioning Job. Job kept questioning God until God say

were you there? Where were you when I laid the

foundations of the earth? Where were you? When I brought

the snow in? Where were you? And I said the

limits of the oceans?

Where were you? Where were you?

He was asking that, and Job was actually humble enough

to say, thank God, I wasn't there. And I think

that kind of humility is really called for when we

approach Genesis chapter one, verse one. We were able to

come humbly and say God, you were there and I wasn't.

That means that I should come humbly and I should

study your word in the beginning. And then the next

word is in the beginning God, nothing else, just a

person called God. See, the Bible does not even try

to prove his existence. Science people say, no, the Bible

must prove the existence of God. I say, yeah, in

the beginning. God doesn't even make the effort. Actually, it

just says this. You will have to begin by believing

in God, not have to be argued into it, not

have to be persuaded into it, but it is the fact.

The very first step in understanding reality and understanding the

truth about our universe is to start with the hypothesis

that God is real. And that is scientific if you

think about it, because every scientific discovery is dependent on

someone who had faith.

That something was there.

Okay, let me explain that if you ever do a research,

a Master's Reich, a scientific research, every kind of research

is a scientific one. You have to hypothesize on something

pasta Gloria will be able to testify this because we

are saying that, so we are making a hypothesis.

Basically, we are sort of making like a guest. Okay.

When I did my research Masters, I wanted to prove

that when the communities and basically when the church community

engages with refugee children through community based education, it actually

improves their education knowledge, It improves their knowledge. So I

made a statement, I hypothesize, and then I started to

do the research to see whether what I stated can

be accepted as fact or not. That is what scientific

research it's always about. You'll always come out with a

hypothesis first, and then you will have to prove the

hypothesis true research whether it's a qualitative research or whether

it's a quantitative research, and that is is this not

what we have to do, even when we read God's

what you have to take a step of faith. Basically

I had to take a step of faith with my

scientific research. I have to say, I really think when

we engage these students, I will improve their lives. And

now I want to prove it on a piece of

paper so that I can go out. Actually that was

my motive, so that I can go and tell the

church that, guys, when you go out, I'm not asking

you to go out and trying to guild trib you

to go on a Saturday just so that I can

feel good about myself. No, I really believe that when

we engage our underprivileged community, we can actually help them

build knowledge, help them become better. And that was what

essentially I wanted to do. I want to tie back

to what the church was doing. And so you start

off with faith. Actually, you believe that something is there,

then you go searching until you find it. Now, your

hypothesis eventually becomes fact. Therefore, the Bible does not try

and argue the existence of God. Actually it just says

in the beginning God. So you do not need to

explain God. You have to explain everything else. The existence

of God is not a problem. The existence of this

world is the problem. The existence of me, my sin,

is the problem. The existence of God has never been

a problem from the Scripture's point of view. But what

kind of a God is this? Who was always there?

We have to ask for the who is the God?

We are dealing with the God who made all that

it is. And this is where I want to break

down just some things for us to know about who

God is. The first thing is this, you realize, even

just from the first verse, he is a personal God,

not it, but he. That means you can actually ascribe

a pronoun to God. He has a mind that thinks,

and what a thought it wants to produce the universe,

you know, it all started with a thought. He's got

a will that decides to do something, and then he acts,

and then he does it. He looks at what he

does and he says, oh boy, that's good. That's all God.

In fact, he says, that's very good. And that is

a person with a heart. Actually, And if there is

a mind, there is a heart. There is a will

that means that he is a person, so we are

not dealing with a force. Sometimes we think of God

as not only the wind blow who God. I'm not

saying God cannot appear in the form of win. That's

why we're saying something has no brief in us Lord,

because he's also rua. But you need to firstly, because

you need you. We are persons. That means we have feelings,

we have intentions, we have heard soul and all these things.

So how we relate to God becomes very important. And

if you don't recognize him as a person, you have

missed the whole point.

He is a person. That means you can relate to him. See.

The first thing Genesis one says about God to me

is that I'm dealing with a person who thinks and

feels and acts, and someone I can understand because I

am a person as well. Second thing I found is

this God is powerful, pretty powerful. Actually, God just has

to say and it is done. I don't think I

can ever do that. No, even with my children. Sometimes

say nothing gets done right, But God says, and it

is none. God is powerful. He says, let that be light,

and boom, that's light. So he is personal he's powerful.

What else, let's go on. I'm just gonna listen down

some of these things. It tells me that he's a

very orderly person. When I look at the order in

the universe, the way in which things are so beautifully arranged.

Think about it, the way insects feed in the flowers

and everything else is in place. You look at nature.

My God is a god who is very orderly. Next

thing you realize is this, he has to be very creative. See,

we can produce assembly lines of the same things.

I know.

Sometimes we'll say, oh, you can produce all the vox

wagon beetles. You ever heard vox wagon beatles.

Do you know?

Germany during the Second World War, that's where the beetle,

the old Vox wagon beat This generation might not know

why it is. Gloria, we know what it is until

he's out. I know what it is, okay, beetle. It

was like the car, and it was the German car

that was produced during actually during the Nazi time that

then threw up all over the world. No, we can

we can produce millions of beetles vox wagon beatles. But

God can produce many beetles, and each beetle is different?

Do you realize that because he's creative, he creates things

in all colors, all shapes, all sizes. Who else can

think of things like that? Do you know every snowflake

is different? Do you know every blade of grass is different?

Do you know every human our fingers? That's why we

have a different identity in terms of our tumb print.

God has that uniqueness, that creativity, not just in human fingers.

He has it on every blade of grass, every single snowflake.

Think about it. We are nowhere near who God is.

God's go God is a creative God, and he has

made all this possible. That's why each and every one

of you are uniquely, wonderfully and fearfully created. Next is

this he is a singular person, Kah, I will explain

there is only one God.

Isn't there a relief to know? Because think about it?

If you believe in let's just say, some religions believe

in millions of gods. Okay, if you believe in millions

of gods, trust me, you'll worry all day and because

you'll be thinking which one will I of friend today? Stress? No, quite,

stress no all. You could also be like, which one

offended me today. But we Christians, we believe one God.

And that's why it is a universe, because it is

a uni God that made the universe. And there is

only one God that we have to deal with. Thank

God for it. Okay, hallelujah, not millions. But Genesis one

also tells us this. He's also a plural god. Okay,

I'll explain.

You.

See the word in Genesis chapter one, verse one actually

has well, the word God actually has an ess in

it on it should be God's in the beginning, God's

created the heavens. And why do I say that, Well,

because the word that is used in Hebrew is the

word elord him okay, and lord him is actually a

plural form. But the verb that is used is singular created.

So here is where the mystery lies. God has a

plural name yet a singular verb. And then later on

in chapter one you will also see when they are

talking before the creation of men, suddenly let us make

man in our own image. It's like they had a conference.

It's like God had a conference. How does this all

make sense? Well, to make things even more intriguing, elo

him in Hebrew does not just mean two or more.

It actually means very specifically three or more because there

is another word that you that is used to connote

to I can't remember why it is it, but you can,

you can study it. It's a different word. So Hebrew

is very very exact. So it goes into we know

it's not just two or more, it's actually three or more.

So this is the mystery and the rest of the Bible.

As you read it, you will actually see the trinity.

But I want us to know that trinity is right

there at the very start. It's a lovely mystery that

God is a family, father, son, and spirit. And it

gets me excited even more when I come to a

verse like one John that says God is love. You

know what that tells me? It tells me that love

existed before the universe because if God was the only

person all alone, he could not be loved because love

is something you can only have with someone else, right, YO,

understand you live alone, don't really understand what love is

on Live with your family.

I think I understand it a little more. Live with

your spouse can.

Like you either understand love a lot or you understand

hate also depending on how you look at it.

But but you know what I mean.

It means that love was always there before any matter

was created.

Love was there.

That's what it means that God is both plural as

well as singular.

The scriptures tell us that.

And that's why when someone asks me why do I

believe God is real? I will go back to Genesis one,

verse one. If someone asks me, how in the world

can you even believe in the Trinity?

Can you care to explain it?

Well, the only the best way I can explain it

is also Genesis chapter one, verse one. How all this

came about is really not what the Bible is set

out to do because scientifically, maybe we want to know

or how is this possible? You know, you know, please

explain know how to tree become one one becometry or

the Bible just tells you this is God. He is

a person, He is Father's Son and Holy Spirit. All

you need is the Bible answers the question who. We

just need to know who. In today's day and age,

we just need to know who to get to where

we need to go.

I promise you that it's enough.

When you get there, you can ask him God, can

you show me your powerpoints slight and try to explain

to me, why you exist in all these different manners.

I don't know.

Maybe he has an answer to it, but it is

not important. That's what I'm trying to get that.

Amen.

Next, he is distinct from creation. He was there before

he created the universe, and he wrested from it afterwards

and had nothing to do with it for a day

and had a day off. Okay, And it's very very

important because you must never get nature and God confused.

Sometimes a lot of us get nature and God confused.

God is quite separate from nature. He can control it,

but he is not identified with it. That is why

we don't worship nature. I've got to be right, because

a lot of people worship nature. I see a lot

of people. I always tell people. Nature is there for

you to realize that there is a God, not for

you to go and worship, because if you are in

all of nature, which we should be, because none of

us can reproduce what God has created. None of us

can create a beatless or if you think about it,

we can't. But nature is for earth to be in

all of the fact that there has to be someone

who created the wonderful things that we see. Does that

makes sense? Genesis one also tells me that God, who

made all this is good. And I love the phrase

because God is a good God. Those two words go together.

That means that everything he touches is good, everything he

makes is good, and everything that is good brings him

pleasure and pleases him.

He likes to see.

Good things because He is a good God. That's why

every time he finished creating something, he says it is good, right,

and so we need to accept that. A lot of

times we question God like he had bad intentions. And

that's where sometimes people ask me, you know why you

got so much reverence for God?

Why you got so much respect?

No, God is he allows so many bad things to

happen in this world, and there's not a lot of

people say I don't believe in him because so many

bad things are happening around in this world. I believe

God is a good God. That means I don't think

and I don't even doubt that the bad things he

created evil so that we will suffered. No, he allow

evil to perpetrate doesn't mean he created it.

That's a big difference.

And so you know, we learned at homes last week

reverence see the reverence for God fear of God's another

thing that is dad in today's society, it's day even

in the church sometimes because we can go on questioning

and asking God and know when we are certcumbstantial Christians.

That means when everything is right, everything is okay, God,

You are good and awesome. When things are not right,

not okay, God, why are you so bad? On Why

are you so evil? Why do you allow this to happen?

Why do you allow that to But we got to

not be circumstantial Christians. We've got to be Christians who

believe that God, you are good. That is established. That

is a fact in my life. That's why I always

tell people faith is actually built on facts. It's not

just built on who where do you Why is it

you believe in God? I don't know because everyone else

told me to know. I believe in God because I

believe in the fact that He is a good God. Really,

that's how I continue to apply both faith and fact together.

Next thing we need to realize is this, He's like us.

And it's quite an amazing thought. I would have thought

that God would be so unlike me, I would never

understand him, But He is actually like me. Towards a

text and you see her. I will explain, you've got

two hands. God understands that because the Bible talks about

the hand of God.

You've got two eyes. Well.

The Bible who talks about the eye of God. I

got nostrils. I can smell things well. The Bible who

talks about some things stings. In God's point of view,

you know, I've got ears, and he's got a ear,

because he says, God hears. I got a mouth. I

can talk well. He talks. In fact, he talked the

world into being. Actually, now, does that mean he has

a body? No, we are told, actually his spirit. But

it means that every physical function is like him because

he can do it without the body. The same thing.

But that means actually he's like me and you. Of course,

when we read onto the New Testament, we know and

we are told that today God has a body. The

body is the Who's the body, the Church we are

his body are here on earth. Okay, and that's so

important for us to remember. Next, he is unlike us. Okay,

he's like us. He's unlike us because there are some

things that he does in Genesis that I've never done

and I will never do. Somebody wants to know. Have

you ever been dampted to turn stones into breaks?

No?

Actually no, this is Jesus kind of temptation. Won't come

to our level one, so he's actually unlike us. The

next one is this, he wants to reproduce himself. Do

you want to have children? So does he? Do you

want to see new lives that you had brought into being? See, I,

as a parent, will always remember the day my children

were born. I think every mother will remember that. I

can't say they are attractive beings, know when they come

out like but you look at them and you think, gosh,

we actually created.

We have reproduced ourselves. God is like that.

The next thing you need to know he is alive,

which means he is active, which means he's doing things,

which means he is busy. And finally is this. He

is a communicator. See, he learns to talk to others.

He's always talking. Genesis one is full of him saying things.

He's communicating. Do you realize that if God was not

a communicator, then we would not know much about him

at all?

He spoke us into being.

Oh Lord, that you are a god who talks, that

you speak, that you put your thoughts into words, and

you communicate. We are grateful for that. That is who

he is, a man in the beginning God. We need

to know that who God is, and then you will

continue to hang on to this statement. The next word

is created created. There are two words used in this

chapter of what God did in the beginning. That's the

word created, and then there's the word made. And I

want to tell you the difference between those two words.

It is an important difference, you see. The biggest one

is this made is usually used of men in the

rest of the Bible.

Okay, the rest of.

The Bible, but it was also used in Genesis chapter one,

because God did make things. See Noah made and uh,

the Hebrew slaves they made breaks Bezelel, you remember Bezileel,

the one who the Holy Spirit came upon him, and

then he started making all the different ornaments and beautiful

things for the tabernacle. But never, never, once does the

rest of the Bible say a man created anything. Now,

that's of course, unlike modern English, where we always say, oh,

this is a wonderful creation, marvelous musical composition, we always

use the word created.

Uh.

Different works of art, we use that word loosely, but

you need to understand for God. He keeps this towards

quite strictly apart. One for God and the other is

for God and man. That means made can be both

for God and men. But created it is only for God.

And that's something that's very very important. Let's look at

the word make first. See, the word makes just simply

means manufacture. Think about it as manufacturing. It's actually a

craft word. It means to take a piece of wood

and to make a check. That is, to make, and

that is something that all of us can do. You

have taken some material and change its form, and you

have made something, and that is something that God can

do as well. And a lot of the things in

Genesis one he made. He took the material that was there,

he made something else and he changed its formed.

You remember that it's shape. He made it.

No, he made the birds in the air, the fish,

all the other things, the plants, etcetera, etcetera. There is

another word, of course, that we use more sparingly in

Genesis one, which is the word created. See the word

created is the Hebrew word barra. The word made is

the Hebrew word assa. There to that say, you can

tell the difference between the two words. Barra means create,

which no man can ever do, Asa means make. Okay,

so let's let's try and feel our way to her.

First of all, you have to realize that the word

make must have a person involved. Okay, we we We

just established that the wood would never change into a

bench without a person doing something.

It wouldn't just happen, right you follow?

I mean makes sense so far so even the word

means that no part of this universe could ever arrive

in itself, no part always. Don't just any boom become flowers,

birds don't just any boom become birds, none of the

animals without someone involved, and all of it. God was

involved in the making of the different things. Now create,

we have to say something else, you see, to create

something we can't understand as humans, because technically we can't

do it. I have never created anything in my life,

nor will I ever, because to create actually means to

make something so new that it was not there before,

not in any shape, not in any form.

It was not there. The three times that Genesis.

One talks about creation is in these three things matter,

life and men. Three things at those three points God

was not making. He was creating. It's the word barah.

All the other points he was refashioning. What was a

rated casey when he refashioned the land and created all

the animals. Okay, you get what I'm going at. But

at these three points, he was putting something in that

was never there before, something so new that only he

could produce out of nothing. That is what God can do.

He can make something out of nothing. And that's why

we say Jesus, that's exactly what he did. He tooked twelve,

well eleven nobodies and made them somebody, because that is

God's way of creating Amen. Certain things he created that

were not there before. Matter was not there he made it.

Life was not there he created, the man was not there.

We are God's creation. Actually, So let me now draw

to the end of this worse and I'm coming to

the end. I just want you to realize how rich

Sis Chapter one, verse one is, and the end is

this last two words. God created, or should I say

God's created the heavens and the earth. So in the

beginning God created brought into being what was not there before.

So what was not there before, well, the heavens and

the Earth was not there before, and then now He

created it. Both Heaven and Earth actually have double meaning

to it. You find Heaven refers to the sky, it

refers to the atmosphere, it refers to outer space.

Okay.

You find that Earth also has a double meaning. It

means of the land, and it also means the whole planet. Okay,

So it's a very wide meaning. So the heavens and

the Earth means everything in outer space and everything on

planet Earth. That is what God brought into being, and

it was not there before. Does this not just make

us want to worship? At this point, I'm going to

invite the banner. I'm almost done. When you think of

the size of the universe, which we are now only

beginning to realize how big it is. Our little earth,

our little Earth, is just maybe about eight thousand miles across.

If you went on the journey through the galaxy in

the speed of light, it takes you one hundred thousand

years to actually go from one end to the other end.

And then you realize that's just one of many galaxies.

You know how sometimes people ask where is God in

the universe? Tell them that's the wrong question to us.

They should ask in state, where is the universe in God?

Because God is the originator of all things. Just think, no,

that God made planet Earth. And from that word on

where Genesis one is entirely concerned with this planet Earth,

and the rest of the Bible is also concerned with

this planet Earth. Don't you find that amazing? When actually

the universe is huge, takes more than one hundred thousand

years to cover. But yere, the Bible talks about Earth,

and God says that it is the most important place

in the universe to him. He said to his son

that it was where he wanted him to go, and

it is where they were going to work out the

whole future of the universe. That's where I'm going to

put people in. Until today, I don't think there is

still any proof that there is any life form in

any other planets.

God saw it right from the very beginning. If it

was just in.

The beginning, God created the heavens, and I would have

understood if he actually stopped there, right if he stops that. Ah,

But suddenly he says, no, not just created the heavens.

He says, created the heavens and the Earth. That is

where I, me and you come into the picture. Therefore,

do you know how significant we are in God's creation,

in his grand plan? When people ask me why or

how can I believe in God? Where do I find

the answers? In the beginning, God created the heavens and

the earth.

That is how it all began.

And that is why I believe in God, our creator,

because the Bible tells me so right from the beginning.

You see, revival happens when you know how important you

are to God's plan and purpose for his entire creation.

That's how important you and I are. We are not

insignificant spects of dust that exists in this world for

no rhyme and reason. No, our life has a riedom

in it. It's called the rhedom of life. There's ups

and there's downs, there's highs and there are lows, but

it's all for a purpose because ultimately it is a

beautiful melody that's being presented unto God.
