  1. You're listening to a message to go from Acts Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. We are on the team of Reviver and want to

  4. speak about half time. I won't say halftime. We are

  5. in the mid We are in the month of June.

  6. June is six months of the whole calendar year, and

  7. it's a really good time for to take stock, really

  8. to just ask yourself, are we going in the right

  9. direction to your neighbor right now? And just as are

  10. you going in the right direction? Oh, because I do

  11. find that if we don't ask ourselves those questions right,

  12. we can be the word they said, we can be

  13. on the journey. On the journey, but yet I'll say,

  14. get there to a place whereby you just ask yourself,

  15. like how did I get here?

  16. How that arrive here? I didn't sign up for this.

  17. And sometimes we could be also on the wrong path,

  18. on the wrong track. And this morning the lad wants

  19. to remind us to get back to the right path.

  20. Right now, as you look back from January to June,

  21. we should just the word is that? Just ponder? I

  22. just think, true, Wow, our highlights for this year? You

  23. think for a moment, what has been our highlights. What

  24. is the thing that pop up to you, like you

  25. talk about the whole year, like from January to June, right,

  26. and you are just just think about, like, yeah, what

  27. what what can I celebrate this year six for the

  28. first six months. It could be you know, like you

  29. painted your room finally amen, hallelujah. Right, it could be

  30. finally you wake up under your bait after well yeah, no,

  31. it could be you know you work, you under your

  32. bid after like years of procrastinating or doing that to

  33. look and what's what's below your bait. I just wanted

  34. to think, really, what can we give thanks for the

  35. whole for for the past six months, because if if

  36. you're not careful, we can just allow what God has

  37. meant for celebration to go down and just be one

  38. of those events that happens in your life. I remember

  39. that you know that this year, man should go go

  40. back to Clanton after many years, I went to Clanton

  41. at the age of twelve, and UH had the privilege

  42. stepped driving up to Clanton with the team and if

  43. we ever from Clanton.

  44. The love bless you. But we drove. We drove for

  45. almost like close to twelve hours. I left.

  46. Yeah, close to travel because I left Charlah and five

  47. forty five got to go and with some at one pm.

  48. The car broke down at one thirty stuck there for

  49. two hours class to three. It's carrying because I want

  50. to let you know that if you ever do plan

  51. to drive to Clanton, please make sure your vikers it's

  52. new and stuff like.

  53. So hours was about thirteen years old by FAF. We

  54. drove up.

  55. I thought everything was all right, but you know, lo

  56. and behold one part broke. And you know when when

  57. things break down halfway, it's it's it's it's not a

  58. bad thing, all right. It's not like you know your

  59. life is cursed or your life is bad. But things

  60. does happen. I let you know, the Bible says it

  61. real on the righteous and unrighteous, right, so therefore meaning

  62. to say that things will happen in your life. So

  63. we shouldn't reflect and just say, oh woe, it's me

  64. and my seeing and stuff like that. And uh and

  65. and and I think when things happened, it does bring

  66. you down. So the low points, it does bring you down.

  67. When things happen, it does bring you down. The thing

  68. is not for us to stay down for not for

  69. us to like pity me and stuff like that. Ah,

  70. I was feeling really down because like, oh man, I

  71. thought I checked out. I check everything, but you know

  72. you can't really check everything right. So anyway past just

  73. we have to just tell the team a reminder and

  74. say that God did not bring us all the way here.

  75. We are about like maybe about half an hour to Kotabaru.

  76. God did not bring.

  77. Us all the way here for this mission to fail.

  78. So then I words, God did not bring you all

  79. the way until whatever it is you're at right now

  80. for your life to fail. God You're not bring you

  81. all the way to this hotel here for extra to fail.

  82. So it is not about that failure or not about

  83. that that the thing that sort did not work in

  84. your life.

  85. It's fun for us to stay there, right.

  86. So the next thing we should ask that when you

  87. saw a giant in your life, for example this year, right,

  88. did you walk towards it or did you walk away

  89. from it? Now, I won't quantify the word giant here.

  90. Many times we think the word giant is huge, it's big,

  91. it's just stuff like that, But it could be irritant

  92. in your life, as small as a cockroach. That sometimes

  93. we run away from instead of tackling the cockroach in

  94. our life.

  95. Right, It's one of.

  96. Those things that we we look at it and go

  97. like something you have to go through, something.

  98. You have to overcome. But yet at the.

  99. Same time, if you look towards it, you go like,

  100. I'm so too tired. I'm too tired to tackle this again.

  101. I'm too The word is that one out And if

  102. you're not careful again that if you keep taking the stands,

  103. if you keep taking.

  104. The approach of like giant, I forget it.

  105. I'll just detour like okay, I ditoy so many things

  106. in my life read it myself, just tour to another path.

  107. Another directions.

  108. Okay, the Lord maybe not wanders to go to the

  109. path because there are there are days in your life.

  110. Want to let you know, there are days in your

  111. life where by some music, instead of.

  112. Bringing you strength, you will drain you.

  113. Even before you start taking up the giant, drain you

  114. really you or something.

  115. You can imagine the conversation you're.

  116. Going to have, right, you can imagine like by the

  117. time you finished having this conversation with your boss, your management,

  118. you just feel like one to go for another holiday, Right,

  119. and I want to encourage you this morning, really that

  120. we can draw lets from the parle of the ten Virgins.

  121. We can really draw lessons from them. All right, So Matthew,

  122. Chapter twenty five, I'm apologize again. I speak really fast

  123. because I got about thirty slids in fifteen minutes.

  124. I can't.

  125. Okay, Methew, Chapter twenty five, Okay, verse one, I'm really

  126. from the amplified version, all right. Then the Kingdom of

  127. Heaven will be like the ten virgins who took their

  128. lambs and when to meet the Bright Groom. Verse one

  129. reminds us that life is about traveling and going on

  130. a journey. Life is about going on to this power

  131. where God wants us to go right, and the Lord

  132. doesn't want us to go to a journey empty handed.

  133. You know, sometimes when we go choosen. For example, you

  134. wake up every day, you wake up every day, you

  135. wake up every day. Right, I'm not sure how many

  136. of us are prepared to go to work. And I

  137. say prepared to go to worl I'm not talking about

  138. getting dressed and just stuff that. Mentally, you seek the Lord,

  139. ask God for wisdom, because if you're not careful, we

  140. can just go admit the bright good without the lamb.

  141. I want to let you know God has prepared the

  142. lamp in your life for us to take it out

  143. for this journey.

  144. But I over show how many of us really that you?

  145. When you wake up a huyo, I'm lily, Really, what

  146. happens you rush out to the door?

  147. Right? Have you ever made a U turn before in

  148. your life? Half way?

  149. I left my hand from behind all right, I left

  150. my wallet behind right, I left.

  151. I don't know love, I love my socks behind right.

  152. Things does happen in first We do leave things better,

  153. but that's because somebody.

  154. We rush to things.

  155. And many times I realize that when we rush you,

  156. for example, especially when we finish work, finish work right,

  157. five thirty maybe got another appointment? You know that you

  158. have to live. It's a certain time to award the

  159. jam right, and you rush to like you peck up

  160. your stuff. You rush tough the dog, go to your

  161. car and zoom off all in this car. That you've

  162. got to take something in your house. Key happened to

  163. me before, and I realized I tried to put the

  164. practice up before I exit a room. Before I exit

  165. a room, I need to need to just look at

  166. it one more time slowly before you exit and go

  167. on the journey.

  168. We need to ask her did I bring everything?

  169. So I have a privilege of taking Past to the

  170. airport most of the time, and every time passes favel Oasis.

  171. When passing center gets to the car, before I start driving,

  172. you'll ask Past a question did you bring your passport?

  173. Because you can forget everything.

  174. You can forget your clothes, you can buy some over there, right,

  175. you can forget everything, but you cannot forget a passport

  176. because without the passport you cannot get onto the plate.

  177. And sometimes in our life we think that it's okay,

  178. maybe I make friends with Come on, if I make friends.

  179. With the immigration officer Casie Chancellor. We haven't.

  180. We have been there before, because we think that it's

  181. okay to go on the journey to meet the bragger

  182. without the lamb. As Christians, sometimes we operate on this level.

  183. We think that it's all right to go on the journey.

  184. It's okayller as so as I maintain my faith and

  185. maintain my faith. And so I just kept coming to

  186. church every Sunday. My faith is all right, and so

  187. I just kept doing my religious I say religious, We

  188. say that the reputation just coming to church giving an offering.

  189. It is okay, God, what's going deeper?

  190. Friends?

  191. He wants us, he wants us to bring the lamb.

  192. You know when you bring something for a trip, right.

  193. Number one, everything you bring is away. Everything is a way.

  194. It's a way. Even your handbag. It's like it is

  195. a way because after a while, friends, he will asked,

  196. I want to carry for you.

  197. It is a way. Number two.

  198. When you go on the trip, whatever you carry, Freds,

  199. you'll find that there are things that you carry you

  200. never use on you will never use. I'm not sure why.

  201. So I went for a mission trip to but Cassie

  202. one month ago, one man ago. I like to pack

  203. like Freds, really like all the clothing. That's all you need,

  204. all right, not the extra everything is used. Then you

  205. feel check one hundred percent points all right? Not show

  206. why that Sunday or rather that trip. I've decided to

  207. bring extra pens. I've never want one pence, guys, come on, right,

  208. been a mission treat one pence that's all you need.

  209. That's all you need because what could happen? Carrie stage,

  210. you can still wash it right and stuff like that.

  211. I tell what happened. I got to the airport. I

  212. got to the airport. I went so many mission treats

  213. for the past twenty four years in church, so many

  214. mission trips. Nothing happened before except last Bakassi trip. My

  215. zip broke. Huh, it's never happened before. Friends, I just

  216. talk to myself, well, thank you Jesus for asking me

  217. to peck the extra pants.

  218. You see, we can go to life.

  219. Go to life thinking that it's okay because I've been

  220. there before and therefore I don't need to or maybe

  221. I've done that before, I've done mission trip before.

  222. I nothing will happen one.

  223. It's different if the zip broke when you're in Indonesia

  224. because you can always buy another pants. It's very different

  225. before you fly the zip bro because you can you

  226. can't hide you stand up. People will be like, uncle,

  227. your zip down there, right. You go to your You're trying,

  228. you know what things happen. You try to cow up

  229. and you want like you don't know, you just very

  230. slowly because you're trying to come up. So the ten

  231. virgins friends the time were just brought the lamb now

  232. verse two.

  233. Five of them were foolish.

  234. How we think about foolish go like, oh, maybe they're

  235. a bit there, but the Bible here said toddlers silly

  236. and careless.

  237. Maybe they were told but they didn't pay attention.

  238. It's it's a generation thing, friends, every generation hire You

  239. didn't tell me that I didn't do a low.

  240. It's every generation grow up people like that one.

  241. If you told me I've done it, if you've told

  242. me you have done it, Yes, it's true. Something need

  243. to be told, but not everything. Can we tell told?

  244. Not everything that you know. It's it's house. I've met

  245. people before, like elder, you didn't tell me, So now

  246. do I say true? Maybe if I didn't tell you,

  247. but I also want to see. The other thing was

  248. as well, pretty much counsel. We did tell you how

  249. to do it. You can still do it because I'm

  250. let direct. Because if we were the plat consistency, pat consistent,

  251. everything right?

  252. What is sin? But you still sin?

  253. Think about it for a moment because sometimes the protection mechanism.

  254. Oh you didn't tell much, so I didn't be extra

  255. all right?

  256. So the five were there were foolish, and five was

  257. why the wise had fast, sighted, practical and sensible meaning

  258. they actually talk about the trip, they actually taught about

  259. the trip. So sometimes in your daily life, have you

  260. ever actually paid attention to what are you going to

  261. do on the daily basis? What are you going to

  262. do on a daily basis? My wife recently went for

  263. medical checkup. Everything everything was okay, healthy and good. Accept

  264. ah accept her liver or slightly fatiuty. Not because she

  265. indulges herself with food. It's just because she just once

  266. in all snack too much, peanuts, cheese and stuff like that.

  267. It happens to our friends, the best of us, right,

  268. So she said that I think I'm she's determined, determined

  269. to get herself back to health. Determined to get herself

  270. back to health, so she ran on the program right

  271. when on the program not supposed to eat for certain hours,

  272. only in for certain hours.

  273. Two meals a day.

  274. The meal is as size as the power of her

  275. face a hand. That's it, right for at least forty

  276. five days now, she said, in the journey of doing this,

  277. In the journey of doing this, she discovered that it's

  278. not about the program really alone. But we don't really

  279. pay attention to what we eat. We don't we think

  280. that just because something is labor organic and that's all

  281. is good, just like life as well. You go to

  282. on the journey, friends, we don't really pay attention. We

  283. rush through the day. Rush you get to work. When

  284. you get to work, the first thing we think about

  285. is lunchtime. Where to eat right, because it's tough. Right

  286. after lunch, friends, you come back, you're trying your body,

  287. trying to overcome the cups in your stomach because between

  288. that after lunch and one hour after lunch you fall asleep.

  289. But here the Bible says the five wives were practical

  290. fast that they knew there was on a day they

  291. were going on the journey. Friends, Therefore they had to

  292. make preparation. If you knew in a day what you

  293. need to do, don't you think that you need to

  294. ask God for wisdom? Because many times even't the best

  295. of Christian friends, we don't the word is that do

  296. our quiet time enough to ask God for wisdom? If

  297. you're honest with our heart, friends, we think that we

  298. can manage. God has never asked for management, friends, He

  299. asked us to renew our mind.

  300. It goes on worse three.

  301. For when the follish took their labs, they did not

  302. take extra oil with them. Come on, the foolish took

  303. their labs. Wow, you rush to your right. It's always

  304. they had the capacity, you know. Think about it. They

  305. have the capacity to bring extra oil, but they didn't.

  306. There's a lot of Christian they have got capacity to.

  307. Do things, but they did not.

  308. Really, I want to let you know, friends, God has

  309. white everyone, you and me friends, for extra capacity, one

  310. extra capacity. But sometimes because our shortsightedness, sometimes because our

  311. silliness and carelessness, we forget or we opt not to

  312. thinking that it is all right to go on the

  313. journey without the lamb. Worse for but the wise the

  314. wires took the flowers of oil along with them, and

  315. then we could read on. Now, the bright group was delayed, delayed, delayed.

  316. First in life, you get delayed, and they all begin

  317. to knock out and fall asleep. But at midnight there

  318. was a shout, Look, the bright Group is coming. Go

  319. and meet him. Then all the wigs got up, put

  320. their lambs in order, trim the wicks and add oil

  321. at oil and lit them. Was it the foolish regions

  322. say to the wise, give us some of your oil,

  323. because our lambs are going out, the wedding feast and

  324. the doors. Sorry, it was great. I'm sorry. I think

  325. I can't pay wrongly there, give us some oil because

  326. our lamb was going out.

  327. I'm gonna pause you.

  328. I'm going to go with my first point reflection or meditation,

  329. you know, wors. It really reminds us of this, that

  330. we can go to our entire life thinking that it's

  331. all right, it's okay, it's all right, it's okay. Because

  332. you're Christian, Ma, you're supposed to help me. Ma, you're

  333. supposed to understand my predicament, my situation. Friends, when he

  334. reads it really paused. Yes, it was a full day.

  335. We had a we had a leader's meeting followed by

  336. a shepherd's meeting. I got an evening birthday celebration without

  337. the homies. But we went back to office, friends, just

  338. to unload the staff, all of these cour friends. Our

  339. office got flooded. It's not all the small. The pipe

  340. is a four inch pipe. Water gosh down from level five.

  341. Part of the school got wet flooded to level four office.

  342. I called my table go because my table was pat

  343. because I handed the accounts. My table was pat. Thank god,

  344. my documents was there. My other Collique, who handed the

  345. other accounts the fowers of the floor was wet. So

  346. I told her that I think you have to repent.

  347. Okay with her, I think you have to repair. Maybe

  348. something's not right in your life, skinny skiddy. But we're

  349. cleaning up. We removed all the tables. Friends, from what

  350. supposed to be half an hour to unload became another

  351. four hours of cleaning, vacuuming or wiping the table down, cowering,

  352. and the entire office of plastic. So, friends, I want

  353. to bring it to the first point. We have to

  354. reflect or meditate because the wise brought extra oil, the

  355. foolish didn't. Life is the journey and not destination. I

  356. want to say this again, if it's the journey and

  357. not destination. Because if it's a destination, Friends, we want

  358. to rush to all the packing. Think about it for Momona.

  359. If it's really the destination, you rush to your mornings.

  360. I hate rushing too mornings because I felt that I

  361. cannot leave the house unprepared. I cannot leave the house

  362. unprepared when we come to church. I'm not sure how

  363. much preparation we have before coming to church, or we

  364. just turn on our faith or sign the prais law,

  365. so you turn on the praise or a sudden or

  366. did we start praising from the house to here? Because

  367. this Sunday is a practice for Monday. Because if you

  368. can do that for Sunday, friends, could you imagine what

  369. could you do from Monday to Friday?

  370. Right?

  371. If life is a journey, friends, how have we been

  372. walking through the destination? We all say life is the

  373. journey of your understanding, but how have we been walking?

  374. Very important for you and me to understand this because

  375. in life, friends, sometimes pipe will break in your house. Yesterday,

  376. one of our leaders, she was about to leave the house. Uh,

  377. water hit, the plot got burned.

  378. Burn. She got that.

  379. She got a family member in the house. But she

  380. text us, They say that I can't live my family

  381. member alone. She not able to handle the contractor. I

  382. could imagine the whole scenario. Last week I was at

  383. Exepok church, cam down there, driving down to Jeho Barru.

  384. I got a text for my brother say that had

  385. a fall.

  386. My dad fell down, cracked three reaps, three reaps got cracked. Crack,

  387. thank god also broken just crack. Then texted me could

  388. you could you come back I thought to myself, Oh,

  389. easy for you to say her. You migrated to Singapore

  390. the work I see, youngest sister migrated the proof to

  391. work and whoever ever in Malaysia have to take care.

  392. Of that, said my one. The only time to travel

  393. that you asked me to make a youthurn. You know

  394. at that moment in time, that was going through my mind.

  395. Friends, because if life is journally, how have you been walking?

  396. We can become very bitter friends. Why is it always

  397. me just because you choose to stay and work in

  398. Malaysia and your other sibling my great oases and what

  399. over seys.

  400. For our friends? Right?

  401. And you have to take care of your aging parents.

  402. We become very bitter. Every time got problem, you have

  403. to make a you turn, can see your plans and

  404. I pray about it. Friends, I pray about it. I

  405. talked the past, I pray about it. I had to

  406. call my brother asked how is that okay? When to

  407. the hospital?

  408. Right?

  409. Right now?

  410. I see you just checking everything that I thought in

  411. the hospital is the best place right?

  412. Number one? Number two? Is that that?

  413. What can I contribute when I come back? Because even

  414. if I make a youth turn, even if I make

  415. a you to what can I contribute when I come back.

  416. It's not like I'm a doctor. I go straight that

  417. I see you fix him up and take it back

  418. home a lot. I thank god I didn't say the

  419. medical profession. So anyway, I thought about all this and

  420. stuff that I told my brother this, when you're hitting

  421. back to Singapore, he told me when Monday I said,

  422. I'll be back on Tuesday.

  423. There should be no problem.

  424. I say, let that say in the hospital as long

  425. as he needed, then I'll come back in this stuff

  426. that he got this charge on Monday and I came

  427. out on Tuesday.

  428. See Fred's if.

  429. Life is journey house, be walking because we can go

  430. to live threads and carry all the bitterness, disappointment, anger

  431. unknowingly friends, because if we knew that it was bad,

  432. you won't take it up. I want you to understand this.

  433. If we knew that it was bad, you won't take

  434. it up. If we knew it was trash. Come on,

  435. you won't carry back to Malaysia when you go to

  436. Japan because when you go Jeope, there's.

  437. No Babi's been right. So what you do?

  438. You keep your trash in your back and you reash

  439. back to your hotel. We can trade there. But how

  440. we always actually take trash back from oz street one?

  441. We don't.

  442. But the problem here is is that sometimes in life, friends, disappointment,

  443. hurt anger comes in a very nice packaging, and that's

  444. why we keep them. But we'll never actually a pay

  445. attention to what we take on our journey, what we

  446. take on our life, because those things that we keep

  447. friends will influence how we see things around us. So

  448. what was the requirement that was needed to be with

  449. the bright room?

  450. Lamb and oil?

  451. Come on, not just oil, friends, lamb oil and extra oil.

  452. The problem here is these friends, a lot of us

  453. are carrying lemon oil by no extra. And that's sometimes

  454. the challenge is this that we need the extra in

  455. our life.

  456. Come on, we need the extra in our life.

  457. To really overcome the tightness. You need the extra in

  458. your life? Friends, what's the extra? Friends, passion? What's the

  459. extra in your life?

  460. Reds? Maybe sleep?

  461. I used to operate on the four hour sleep cycle.

  462. Four hour sleep cycle. My mom was a staff nurse.

  463. She worked on she worked on sheaf. So I caught

  464. this heaby from her. I saw her coming back from

  465. work at seven am in the morning for night sheaf.

  466. She sleeps until eleventh plus breaks up a cook for

  467. the family and after that, somethimes go back to work

  468. because something that's back to back sheaf and stuff like that.

  469. So I caught this heabit from my.

  470. Mom and because of that, I grew up the time

  471. went to work. I don't know why, maybe because everybody

  472. was doing it. Decided to work and study at the

  473. same time. Not the wisest thing to do, friends, because

  474. I just do my MBA without way for classes, I

  475. are quite easier by first and this sales speech. But

  476. this is the sales speech every everyone in education life.

  477. It's very easy one. It's very easy one. It's a

  478. repeat of your third year in your degree. Costs do

  479. your MBA is very easy one. So with the sales

  480. speech I brought into the sales speech. I studied that

  481. I took. I took up the day and some subjects

  482. I have to meet. It was very easy to pass.

  483. I was am I was aiming to pass with me.

  484. But there's some subjects I feel three times. So I

  485. was studying and working at the same time. I thought

  486. to myself halfway through the journey, asking myself, like why

  487. on earth, the eye sign up for this? Why the

  488. eye sign up to torture myself this way? Because it's

  489. not about the lamb or the oil. Friends, it's about

  490. the extra. Because though five foolish brought lemon or they did,

  491. they beat the requirement. But it's the extra, the tough

  492. fullness that's required. So in life friends, In life friends

  493. you have disappointment, You will have disappointment, discouragement, everything.

  494. On friends, you will have that. The challenge is not

  495. about how to award all this you can't.

  496. In life you will face discouragement, You face disappointment, You.

  497. Face grieving as well. I lost my mom three years ago.

  498. And sometimes I do think about her and stuff like

  499. you do face moments like that. But in those moments

  500. when it's not supposed to the word is bring you

  501. to a place whereby the how do I get here?

  502. It's those moments you say, God, thank you so much

  503. for even allowing me to have time. So what is it,

  504. friends in your life that you have been bringing in

  505. your journey? If the fire fully shoes were slow were

  506. to slow down assetself, why did the others being extra?

  507. Perhaps you'll be prepare for the extra. It's not like this.

  508. No, it's not like the five yes decide to go

  509. on one car the five foolish said, go another car.

  510. I guess they went on the same carrier went together.

  511. The question here is is that how did they last

  512. a long haul? And how why are they bringing extra?

  513. Because sometimes in life you look at other people that

  514. how do you overcome that disappointment? How do you overcome

  515. the anger issue? How do you overcome that path? Because

  516. sometimes we see but we don't ask. I guess the

  517. five foolition saw the extra. It's not friends, I want

  518. to let you know. The extra was those small little

  519. like like a sample perfume that they give up at

  520. the Counterwe you know.

  521. They get put in your pocket. I don't think so

  522. that it would last loer.

  523. I guess it has to be a jot at least

  524. or something like that, right or two? So if we do,

  525. if they actually did slow down and ask themselves a question, yeah,

  526. what do you be extra, maybe they could have understand

  527. the situation. Because our heart and our mind run faster

  528. the biblical process on. Maybe you look at the church,

  529. for example, you look at the church. Oh yo, you

  530. you come to extras to go maybe like so small,

  531. but I presented some numbers of the leaders yesterday and

  532. every attendance, every shit.

  533. I wish attendance for our church in HM thank Medley.

  534. Right, it's about thousand, thousand, one hundred or added up.

  535. We saw about twelve salvation and twenty four reddication from

  536. January to June. So if we want to slow down

  537. and go that, Hey, the reason why we're doing this.

  538. We want to make sure that everyone gets involved in church,

  539. involved in the life of the church, involved in serving

  540. the Lord. The bigger the church is something that we

  541. can hide and we be so so many people when

  542. we are only one service. People were weren't serving the Lord,

  543. just coming because good people fitfully serving one friends, and

  544. we don't be a church whereby the next thirty years

  545. the same people serving so passa can have really caught

  546. from the lassa. You grow small so that everyone has

  547. opportunity to serve. Right, So we brook it down with

  548. the leaders threads. We went straight to homes, some homes

  549. that were submit the homes reposses last year. I want

  550. you to know that some homes does submit the homes

  551. reposses last year. See, when you grow small friends, you're

  552. able to zoom in and there's one home belongs to

  553. extra us. There was submit the homes reposses last year.

  554. The person is laughing in front of Hey, he's the

  555. home leader. That's why. See first, if you were to

  556. slow down and said so, we have to tell the

  557. leaders we are not here to embarrass anyone. Maybe you

  558. have submitted, so please go easy on the leaders. Please

  559. go easy on the leaders. Okay, please don't scream and

  560. shout at there. Why you're so lazy and we could

  561. serve it. Please, going by the way of encourage us,

  562. I say, yeah, I think you submitted, and maybe the

  563. email you look Sometimes email go wrong with a first,

  564. but I have to see it. Maybe you submitted your

  565. report and they didn't get to us, so it's our thought.

  566. Don't worry about it. Can you submit right now?

  567. All right?

  568. If we were to slow down, friends, we remember the

  569. birthdays he would have slowed down. We remember to say

  570. thank you if we would just slow down or a bit.

  571. We remember to take our car keys or house keys

  572. from the office. In life because the pressure, because of

  573. the pressure, maybe not just pressure, friends, I'm not saying

  574. pressure is bad. I'm just saying that life itself, how

  575. we see things how we couldn't let certain things go

  576. causes you to push you forward immediately to exit a room,

  577. to go to another room. If only the five fully

  578. showed to ask himself when they talk to the five

  579. wise one, Yeah, why do you being an extra oi?

  580. But why do you see you serve so many years

  581. you could up the easy way out?

  582. Why if you take some time to ask, maybe you

  583. can find an answer. So it's not about asking the

  584. world friends, I want to say again, it's not about

  585. asking because the warld friends every and the word this

  586. is that everyone gets hooked up with an either we

  587. have one, they miss people all can't. People are very

  588. successful out there. It's not wrong, but it's not the right.

  589. It's not totally right as well. Right, So it's not

  590. about asking the world or the surroundings to slow down.

  591. Come on, sometimes we asked we want thing to slow,

  592. We want everything around us to sol out. First the

  593. world is slowing down. Things around won't slow that one?

  594. You can't tell your boss, can you so for me

  595. to catch up? Most probably ask you to leave. I

  596. know of a person who actually told the boss this, boss,

  597. thank you so much for hiring me. But the job

  598. that you give to me is a lot. Can you

  599. hire extra stuff for me? You know, can you hire

  600. extra stuff for me to accomplish what you hire me

  601. to do in the first place. This is after two

  602. months in the job. I'm not sure how many of

  603. us really can tell our bosses there because it don't

  604. you know, there's a one way ticket, friends for whole

  605. storage to show that you're not really competent or understanding

  606. how the office works. But so about asking the world

  607. around us to slow down. It's all asking this around

  608. about but it's it's about us taking time to be

  609. still with the Lord. Joshua one was insists, I'm going

  610. to close with these words. This mode of low shall

  611. not depart from your mouth, but you shall read meditate

  612. on it. Come on, read, meditate on it, day and night.

  613. The problem here is that we found out that some leaders,

  614. some people survive on one scripture a.

  615. Day on the Bible app. That's my Bible reading plan.

  616. Come on, one scripture a day, that's my Bible reading plan.

  617. Now, if that's you you first, I do not know

  618. who you are.

  619. My last time is for extras was about four months

  620. ago or something like that.

  621. While you're still in the BA Black come.

  622. Site, right, so I not know who you are by friends,

  623. do not do not, do not just survive or on

  624. scripture to day, because that ain't gonna help a lot.

  625. How about you're supposed to meditate on the day and night.

  626. So if Joshua in the Book of Joshah, God reminds you,

  627. this book shall not be put from you. Therefore, the

  628. most important thing when you start the day is should

  629. they be the book? We prepare our breakfast very well

  630. one friends, all night oats takes all the dedication.

  631. Praise the Lord, hallelujah. Right, we prepare breakfast great to most.

  632. We prepare meal prep meal prep right, you mall prep

  633. for one or one whole month. We prepare everything except

  634. for our spiritual life. So by what here says that

  635. this book of the Lord shall not depart from your mouth?

  636. We missed to say. Friends, have you ever tried reading word? Allowed?

  637. Think about it for a moment.

  638. Now, really, God's well, it's different from just reading the

  639. book the silent Leo and friends. But you're really there

  640. and night, so that you may be careful to do

  641. everything in the gardens with all this written for, then

  642. you make your way prosperous and then you'll be successful.

  643. This how I'm going to close and just want to

  644. just courage you off first to meditate, before you could

  645. even meditate. First you need to slow down. Before you meditate.

  646. You need to slow down because in life, like I

  647. say again, it pushes you on friends. After these friends,

  648. you'll be pushed to make a decision where to eat,

  649. and that's one of the life toughest decision.

  650. Where to eat.

  651. Tomorrow you'll be pushing making a lot of decision before

  652. before friends, you get push you need to slow down

  653. and meditate.

  654. God, what you're saying to me? God, what are you

  655. speaking to me?

  656. I've learned for Passic Is this that before you go

  657. into meetings, ask God for wisdom, not just the minute

  658. before the meeting. Pass cannot give me an insight. Sometime

  659. before a big meeting, he thinks about two weeks to

  660. pray and say, God, give me wisdom, tell me speak

  661. to me journey like, Lord, what do you want.

  662. Me to say?

  663. Because sometimes we rush to even sometimes our prayers. Is God,

  664. I'm going for my next meeting right now, give me wisdom.

  665. Thank you Lord, Jesus name Amen, right, thank God.

  666. Listen. There's one prayer, but could you imagine you actually prepared?

  667. So I got these gleams, really these gleams.

  668. From some other people, axing up Aul, our camp command

  669. and Vivian. Vivian prepared for the camp one year and

  670. at once fast of all close to a year before

  671. the camp. The camp committee for its is thirty people.

  672. The church is seventy plus people, so fifty percent sign up.

  673. A ready for kem think about it? She fast, She prayed.

  674. She just say, God, revive us, God speak to us.

  675. Use every session. It's not about just before the next.

  676. There's power in it because sometimes now something is not

  677. planning on, but some many things I plan.

  678. Pray.

  679. You have to slow down, friends, because it's halftime right now.

  680. Come on, you have to slow and say God, is

  681. this something I need to let go? Because it can't

  682. be friends, I'm gonna say that it can be every

  683. time every time I think about the person, anger comes

  684. in the first. The first feeling is anger. The first

  685. feeling is disappointment, the first feeling that I don't.

  686. Talk to you. I do want to what you.

  687. It can't be dead friends, it can't be you come

  688. to a place whereby everything else is rushing and pushing

  689. you you're just going with the flow.

  690. How is your quiet time?

  691. Because quiet time is the time when you slow down

  692. nothing else really matters. So it's so important, friends, It's

  693. really so important to slow down. God, what is it

  694. that you want me to do? What is it that

  695. you want me to hear? Because here I am Lord,

  696. I'm listening. This book of the law shall not depart

  697. from your mouth. But you'll meditate on the day and night.

  698. I'm not asking us to resign from our job, to

  699. go to obsircular place to just get stoked in by

  700. masking us. Really to slow down, to meditate, to pause

  701. for a moment if you read something. I'm not sure

  702. where they have time. I just don't kill I'll just

  703. tell example. I'm going to be late for a while,

  704. but turn with me right now, just quickly. The sum

  705. step the tree, just that I just want to show

  706. you something, Okay, I'm reading for the amplifying Uh, some

  707. chep the tree? Who was stept the three worse two?

  708. Many are saying to me, there is no help, no

  709. salvation from him in God, many are saying.

  710. Many people are saying there's no help.

  711. And somebody you get respell like you know, things around

  712. you tell you that no help comes from here and

  713. from God. But the something you put there, pause for

  714. a moment. Between two and three, there's the word selah.

  715. There means pause for a moment, next the next worse.

  716. When you pause for a moment, friends, it helps you

  717. to think about you. Although are a shield for me,

  718. my glory and my honor, and the one who lifts

  719. up my head with my I was cryings for with

  720. my woice. I was crying to the Lord. He answered

  721. me from his holy mountain. Come on, he answered me,

  722. from his holy mountain. Pause, he answered me. God came

  723. to for you. Pause for a moment, because God answers

  724. your God, because you know that God is real, comes

  725. the next words here, which is worse. For I'm able

  726. to lay down and sleep. The problem is not about

  727. the mountains and the promise that we don't pause.

  728. Right now.

  729. In our church, we are trying to move away a

  730. lot of things from a person. We grow the church

  731. from tree to where we are right now. You know

  732. when you're small, because everything surrounds your decision making. But

  733. when you're bigger, ready you have to work through system,

  734. money and many times in our life as we don't

  735. go work to a stir.

  736. We golden.

  737. You just work depends on a person. And why if

  738. the person is not well not able to everything all

  739. fails after that. That's why, after all the church are

  740. we hating to the right place? If you were one thing,

  741. the church to grow, church to go. Therefore, we need

  742. to realign certain things. As I close, friends, I want

  743. to encourage you. Life is really a journey. It's not

  744. a journey whereby you just go empty. The word is

  745. say you don't know what to bring. The lords reminding

  746. you bring your lamb, the oil and extra oil. Don't

  747. rush shoe the day We'll ask yourself like, hey, why

  748. are you bringing the extra oil? Because you can miss

  749. the moment where you meet the bright groom. You can

  750. miss the moment of your opportunity. Friends, we can go

  751. to life, like I say again, carrying stuff they're not

  752. meant to carry, not meant to somethings that really packaged nicely.

  753. Your disappointment, discouragement are all packaged so nicely. If you're

  754. bringing things with us we have we let these certain

  755. things go just a close.

  756. I pray with you all.

  757. I'm so sorry if I rush through these apologies again,

  758. but let me just let me pray for your possibly

  759. back the chairpersis.

  760. Will you look to God right now?

  761. Thank you Lord, Thank you Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit.

  762. Father.

  763. In the name of Jesus, we look to you right now. Lord,

  764. that you are a god for sustain us, who loves us.

  765. For I pray for everyone here.

  766. Lord, that we learn to just take a pause, moment,

  767. a halftime right now, to look where we are at,

  768. to look into our own hearts, to ask ourselves. Am

  769. I not just hitting the right direction? Am I going

  770. to the direction with the right attitude? Gladness of heart?

  771. Is my heart pure before you? Lord? If just if

  772. my heart is not in the line of your Lord,

  773. I want to learn to surrender before you right now.

  774. And Lord, would you help me to align b my heart?

  775. Would you help me to have the extra oil? Because Lord,

  776. with the extra oil, Lord, I can enter into the banquet.

  777. With the extra oil, Lord, I can enter the opportunity

  778. you have prepared for me.

  779. Lord.

  780. So I pray for everyone here when we experience you

  781. in a fashion new way. Lord, in Jesus' name, Lord, Amen,

  782. we hope you've.

  783. Been blessed by this message. For more information on our church,
