  1. You're listening to a message to go from ex church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your deed.

  3. The second core value is now then we talk about

  4. Christ centered. Amen, Amen, right, the Christ centered. If we

  5. are to tick the verse just to read. If you

  6. have your bibles, we can turn to XS. Chapter two

  7. and verse thirty six. X. Chapter two and verse thirty

  8. six is the where we want to establish this verse right,

  9. So X Chapter two, verse thirty six. This is Peter

  10. who's speaking, and he says, therefore, let all the house

  11. of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus

  12. whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. Amen. The coming King,

  13. the Christ, the Messiah, the one who saves. He's the

  14. foundation of the church. All of God Church is founded

  15. on Christ center. Is Christ? Amen? All right, hallelujah. So

  16. for the church, we always remember that we build this

  17. church number one by the Holy Spirit who feels us,

  18. and we continue to need the flow of the Holy

  19. Spirit in our lives. Number two, that we want to

  20. always remember to be Christ centered. Now, Amen, So I

  21. know that you have your books and just for us

  22. to guide each guide us, we will feel the thing

  23. I help you. Okay, okay, all right, So I try

  24. to follow my notes based on the notes on the

  25. points here, all right, So I don't complicate you and

  26. talk anything I want, so I just better follow. So

  27. so just to establish, as I speak, you can just

  28. take whatever notes you feel it helps you. Okay, there

  29. is no hard and fast rule. But this is based

  30. on the teaching and the sharing that we have heard

  31. from pasta. And so we want to share why and

  32. the whole the fuel that fuels our church. Amen. So

  33. what so we said the church is Christ centered, and

  34. everybody would say, of course amen. So yes, Jesus is

  35. the lot of the church. Jesus the head of the church. Amen.

  36. So we agree. We are not at all disputing, all right.

  37. So then the question comes, Hey, what pulls us away

  38. from Christ? Can men? Okay? What pulls us away from Christ?

  39. Or what pulls us as a church away from Christ? Amen? So,

  40. so we wanted to establish that we live in the world.

  41. God made this beautiful world, but sin came in and

  42. then he gave us salvation and you have to choose

  43. because he doesn't pause us. So fine, So, but we

  44. are living in this world, and in this world, we say,

  45. there are a lot of things that attract us a

  46. lot of things that distract us. Amen. So I've got

  47. this things that attract and distract. So even as a church,

  48. all right, we are being reminded. Sometimes we can be

  49. distracted because we see what are the people are doing? Hey?

  50. And I remember those days. You know, our partners and

  51. leaders used to say, past the gentlemen, past the see

  52. no p's the conference of people can oversee speaker. No,

  53. we all want speaker. Ne wrong Malaysian, Nay Malaysian people.

  54. What is this? Then my committee will say fast, nobody

  55. will come love for the conference because you don't have

  56. much sale speaker. And I say, choy, try try, try, try,

  57. I say, hey, what sally speaker? Of course not. We

  58. have Malaysian made speaker, made in Malaysia by the Lord

  59. who called us to live here. And we have had

  60. these speakers. We have had oversea speakers. But just all

  61. these costs a lot of money. But so fly them

  62. and some you want more more famous speaker, or they

  63. got requirement, Non, they got agent. So the agent must

  64. be fly business class, first class, mustay in first class

  65. water Manto lague, the bollet of Ford. God night, we

  66. have saved all our money to help missions to go

  67. to rough feed the pool. No feed you just saying

  68. we we keep going outside to look. But the lots

  69. plann the church here right, so they are also servants

  70. have got all over. And you know that even if

  71. you have invited speaker, they are pastors who have paid

  72. the price in Malaysia, given their lives to build the

  73. house of God here. They have wonderful stories to also

  74. share with us. And now now and then you might

  75. get different speakers coming outside of X. So, so there

  76. are a lot of attractions. Of course, it's very attractive

  77. and also can distract. After that, we look elsewhere. Now

  78. you're open to YouTube. Whoa, so many speakers. You have

  79. a menu of speakers. Mana, you are also God? Oh

  80. these church, that church, this past this, the some of

  81. that dan you oh pasta, my my my, my mentor?

  82. H is Stephen for tick? Really? Oh he's your mentor?

  83. How is that? So? Yes? His teaching is very good. No,

  84. he knows your name and not you know where you

  85. stay in it. I know where your name Elene Pong

  86. and you stay in o Eugene near there, yeah, okay,

  87. near there, near the happy Garden. So and I know

  88. where you work also central Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, sorry

  89. your birthday. Does Stephen Fertick know that? Does does he

  90. know that your mom likes this and your dad is

  91. not so well? Who's your pastor? Oh? Please, Lord, don't

  92. let me vomit them. We're so distracted with other things.

  93. Other people are the lights and sounds and sound systems?

  94. You want me to buy one boss? Or something is

  95. about bossy pastor what kind of sound system is the

  96. made in China? Okay, I don't know. Maybe Bossy Bosses

  97. is also made in China. Now everything is made in China,

  98. So no, wow, this that. So we are so attracted

  99. to these things and then can get distracted on who

  100. really is the church? Who runs the church? Not us?

  101. Jesus right, we have to keep our eyes on the

  102. lot because we get attracted, distracted. And this is what

  103. happened to Israel. I say it again, God said, I

  104. will be your king. I will lead you. I will

  105. faithfully lead you to green pastures and to a land

  106. flowing with milk and honey. Your lives will be blessed.

  107. Don't you worry. I will fight for you, et cetera,

  108. et cetera. Oh but what did the people is going

  109. to say, please give us a king like all the

  110. other nations. It sounds familiar. Dads in the room, your

  111. son or daughter saved. Dad. Can I have that car

  112. because my neighbor has the car that I want to

  113. go to that school because you know my friend going

  114. to that school. I do want to go to the school.

  115. La kabanksan genis now, I do want to go. I

  116. want to go to the international school. Keep the focus.

  117. Get an education. Yo, what is this right? Just go

  118. to school and study right? So we are get distracted.

  119. Israel did that to God. They rejected God's leadership. And

  120. so God said, okay, you want a king, I'll give

  121. you a king. But when I give you a king,

  122. he's going to use you as servants. He's going to

  123. text you, he's going to take all your stuff. I

  124. don't take nothing from you. All I ask is to

  125. worship me. So come to me, know me, and I

  126. will know you and make my house with you. No,

  127. we want a king. This is exactly the church today.

  128. We are so very attracted to what else the world

  129. is having it? To be honest, and I had asked

  130. the leaders a question, what really do you admire church

  131. as a believer of Christ. As follower of Christ. Sometimes

  132. we actually not wrong, but sometimes we can so admire

  133. what the world is doing that we wanted. I wish

  134. my church is like death organization, like death company. But

  135. we are not a company. We are Church, Holy Spirit,

  136. Birth the Church. We are not Kasana. All right, I

  137. don't know what company. Okay, what company? Okay, I don't know.

  138. I'm not a corporaker. I'm not. We are not. They've

  139. got great ideas, and we can learn good ideas. How

  140. to make security better, you know, how to so all

  141. this is good, to be better, but to be one thing,

  142. not so hungry for that, coveting to be like them.

  143. We actually secretly admire people outside of the world or

  144. the people of God. We want to be like so

  145. and so and so and so and so. Look, they're

  146. so influenced. Sometimes my judge member said, pass the past

  147. is so famous, you know, and then they're writing in

  148. the in the U version. So how come I just

  149. don't write in the U version and say you don't

  150. you think we never asked me. We asked, Well, they

  151. don't said us. What can I do? Oh, the past

  152. is on the U virgincy they face they're sharing the

  153. word five minutes or no whatever. Yeah, I know they didn't.

  154. Juice is Lah. Although we were called actually for a

  155. meeting with the U Version people, but I told her

  156. I was too busy. It's out there planting churches, you know,

  157. so there are time to meet you. Yeah. So just

  158. recently there was a call someone said would you like

  159. to come? We would like to have you and pass

  160. I said, I'm so sorry. We are traveling to another

  161. another city. We cannot be there, but thank you for

  162. thinking of us to come and meet the U Version team.

  163. So pastor a small time en now, but we are

  164. not a distracted We keep our focus is Jesus. Jesus

  165. this at the end of the day. You want to

  166. make sure we are preaching Jesus to you. There are a

  167. lot of attractions. So Matthew seventeen five, what does Matthew

  168. seventeen five? And if you can turn to Matthew seventeen five,

  169. we want to read some verses, okay, so that we

  170. learn together. What does Matthew seventeen five says? There are

  171. many things that will attract and distract us, right, but

  172. what is the what does this verse say? This happened

  173. at the transfiguration, at the amount of transfiguration. And then

  174. you know, Jesus suddenly transfigured and you were so wow,

  175. look so bright. And there was Peter, the disciples right,

  176. James and John and so suddenly out of the heaven

  177. the while Peter was saying, hey, I can see Moses,

  178. I can see Elijah. A la la lah, let's do this.

  179. And then the Father God from heaven says, suddenly a

  180. voice came out from on the cloud saying, this is

  181. my beloved son in whom I am. Well least here him. Amen.

  182. Who at the end do we want to base our

  183. church on Jesus? Amen? Jesus Again. Like I said, there

  184. are many good things out there, and what we can

  185. adopt and use learn is okay, but don't be so

  186. fall in love with it. And I think that is

  187. the way to go. No that if God didn't speak

  188. to us, he didn't speak to us. And you know

  189. we won't do it that way. And we can't. We

  190. keep looking at otherwise other church is doing. And I

  191. tell you people, we will always keep seeing what other

  192. church is doing. Cannot live like that. I ask you

  193. in your family, if your child keep looking at what

  194. the other neighbor. Father is providing, mother is providing you.

  195. Oh they're eating you know, rose chicken every day. See

  196. how you say, mama could what you eat? You eat

  197. us steam fish healthier? Okay, same fish? No, Mama want

  198. to eat ROAs chicken or round every day? Tell you

  199. and say, my neighbor eating that? What as a father,

  200. what you feel if you're very strict father, my your

  201. slap you? You see that? Eat it right? But if

  202. you're the father mother who got no stand? You are

  203. a rosch? Are you okay? Going by roast for you all? Lord?

  204. Every day? Make ROASTI because that's all that neighbor there

  205. eating papa. Hey, you as a parent or so be

  206. fired out right? I cook? You eat what I cook? Right? Yeah,

  207. you don't spoil your kisses. No, you are the parents.

  208. You establish that foundation. Gonna eat fish. I'm gonna eat vegetables. Yes,

  209. and you thank me for it because next time you

  210. want to have insulin problem? Ah, okay, I need the

  211. diabetic you eat. Mama cooked that food? Right? You think

  212. only very good there? Look very nice on me. This

  213. is healthy food. Parents will say that right. Who you

  214. want to give you? See me the church? Now I'm

  215. telling you hello, the church is Jesus. Okay, I'm not

  216. gonna turn off the lights for you to worship right away.

  217. You can hold hands out in the dark. No right, bright.

  218. Jesus is a have you not heard o? Yo? You

  219. and I were in darkness one time. Now Jesus translated

  220. into his marvelous light, and you want me to go

  221. back to the darkness again? See how actually live? We

  222. never think? How? You never think? You follow God? God

  223. is light? Why do I want to wash him in

  224. the dark? Then I come seventy years so I cannot

  225. read my Bible to to. I don't know what's it

  226. faller becoming more like the world, or becoming more to

  227. the light that's not our dna here. I'm sorry you

  228. tell them whoever? And I just want to dim light,

  229. dim light, I'll dim you. I tell you, Jesus is

  230. the light. I want to walk in the light. I

  231. want to sing in the light. And if I have seen,

  232. let the light shine and clean me. Jesus clean my sin,

  233. cleans my sin. I do want to live in sin.

  234. I'm a broken person. I don't need to hide in

  235. my sin. Light which shine like is? Okay? I broken? Broken,

  236. so broken laugh. Right, the lights shine and shine everywhere

  237. through the woles of my life. Amen. Wow that But

  238. if you keep it, the whole cannot see it. Love.

  239. So what what are you attracted to? And why are

  240. you attracted? Then you're asking us to put that into

  241. the church. We are reminded it is Christ centered. Okay,

  242. and and and and here's Jesus, Father, God is saying, here,

  243. my son, He's establishing that Jesus is the is the way.

  244. A man. Don't have any other thing, any other man,

  245. even we are, we are just human being. God happened

  246. to choose us to do this work. But even then,

  247. I know you don't look at man man. I know

  248. you don't look at manmen. You might look at Ma

  249. sale manna Milaysia. Don't count. Yeah, of course I don't

  250. speak like that, you know all right? Next one, fame

  251. and popularity? Are we after fame and popularity? You're my pastor?

  252. So nobody know my pastor, nobody know my church name.

  253. Don't you worry? X action experience, Ah, so many write

  254. so many ex ex ex not excell Okay, sometimes we

  255. are drawn to famine popularity. Hey, if God calls you

  256. and raises you as a celebrity as a great influencer,

  257. and you're shining the light of God. Praise the Lord.

  258. Go and shine for Jesus. Amen, But don't we we

  259. until I want to be like the influenza or your

  260. nose bleed to be like that. But you're you're not

  261. called to that. You're called to do something else. So

  262. famine popularity. What about Jesus? Was he famous and popular? Oh?

  263. Yes he was. He was a star. He was. He was,

  264. at least for the first part of his life. Why

  265. everybody walk touch gate? He touch gate here, touch get here?

  266. Right forgiving you forgive me? Wow? Popular? It is so

  267. when in storm will stop? You know, never seen before

  268. my life? Wow? Popular? His name became very very popular. Right,

  269. But then what does John? Firstly at John, check the

  270. two and verse thirty five. John Chapter two, verse twenty

  271. three to twenty five. Sorry, John, Chapter two, twenty three

  272. and twenty five? What what did Jesus make out of

  273. all this? Okay, so this is Jesus. I'll tell you.

  274. If anyone of us did what he did, I think

  275. everybody will be bowing down and our feit ready. Because

  276. he turned water into wine, and not just any useless wine.

  277. Very good quality wine. Then they are come join my company.

  278. Can you make my water and do wine? Right? Wow,

  279. he became famous. Hey, invite Jesus your wedding, okay, and

  280. my next time anyway, Jesus will turn your water and

  281. do what he's on your wedding. Okay. If I Jesus

  282. go turn your water and everybody wants Jesus, he can

  283. label it Jesus white. Okay, So here you go, so

  284. very popular. What happened in John chapter two twenty three

  285. twenty five He says that so when he was in

  286. Jerusalem at the passover, then manny believed in his name

  287. when they saw all the signs, which he did. So

  288. people are attracted by the signs. Wow, wow wow, whine

  289. healed da da da. Then But verse twenty four Jesus,

  290. he says, but Jesus did not commit himself to them

  291. because he knew all men. He knew what is man's

  292. nature verse twenty five. And he had no need that

  293. anyone should testify of men, because he knew what is

  294. in man. Basically, the verse in a simpler English version means,

  295. Jesus knew what is man's nature, and I know that

  296. I don't need men to to to qualify me, or

  297. to to say that you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, Jesus,

  298. you're very good, very good, very good. All right, no need,

  299. he said, I don't need to trust it. It's the

  300. same with us as well, and sometimes as church members,

  301. as shep, we also like to yeah, love, you are

  302. like your mama. Jokes, right, ma, mama, you're better than

  303. your ma ma. You know your ma past better than

  304. your pastor. But we cannot be like that because sometimes

  305. we go out if you are the picture over there

  306. and they say, whoa, Tyrell, you're the best five minutes,

  307. because we also go your point better and oh then

  308. if tirag like whoa, I can now be seen your

  309. post the okay, we coordinator say, come, come, come. But

  310. we trust men's words more than we trust God's word.

  311. We want the accolade of men. We want accolagic acceptance

  312. and the validation of people. Of course, validation helps us

  313. to be a bit more confident. I can, I can,

  314. I can. But if we keep and trusting our lives

  315. into the man's words, then we are looking for fame

  316. and popularity, right, so are you? My person is so

  317. not popular, don't nobody knows his name? Waste my time

  318. being all right, are we looking? Do you think the

  319. church is built on fame and popularity? Ask you when

  320. you know that, right, then don't admire those things and

  321. don't desire that. Come on anchor your own faith in Christ.

  322. You you you are the church, right, not just this

  323. ex church, but you made up the church. Thank you that.

  324. We're so glad we could become your friends and family.

  325. Now where you joined us, I join you, you join me,

  326. Then we have this family church. But if we keep

  327. looking to better day, better bear better here, better day?

  328. Are you not famous? Popular? Jesus said I don't trust

  329. myself into the hands of men, So actually we also should,

  330. and sometimes we long for it. Not as human we

  331. long for validation, not in validation, but validation. We want

  332. to be very well past the best. What a message

  333. that day? I mean, the day is finished preaching? Nobody

  334. say nothing, not a thank you, not very good or

  335. very bad. At least you tell me very better or

  336. very better, okay, better improved. But if every every time

  337. we do something we want to validate need validations, where

  338. are then to say I'm serving the lot because I

  339. love Jesus? Right, you just wanted to serve. Amen, Thank

  340. you so much. Right we got the one that tea

  341. teams serving here today. I mean, I don't know, I

  342. don't know. You want to bring garlands for them or no. Right,

  343. they're just serving because they enjoy serving. They love the lot.

  344. They're here. Thank God for family that we can call

  345. on family, family, help, please, help, help, and then you

  346. get them here not and then they will they come

  347. together with us, and we are so blessed. So I

  348. don't know if we need validated. Thank you, doctor Joel,

  349. Thank you, thank you. You never call you doctor Dr Joel.

  350. You know all these validations because about fame and popularity.

  351. Even Jesus brothers sit to him in John chapter seventh,

  352. first three to four. If you look at John chapter seven,

  353. three to four, even his brothers say, he you savior

  354. of the world. Right, come go to the parties happening

  355. pass over? Why are you hiding inside the house here?

  356. Go go to Jerusalem. Why are you staying in Nazareth? Go?

  357. And then people would know you are the Savior of

  358. the world or the Son of God, if you that's

  359. what you say you are. They didn't even believe, so

  360. they mocked him by saying, oh why are you hiding here?

  361. But Jesus to go and make yourself famous, Go and

  362. make yourself known. Jesus says, no, I will wait here, right,

  363. I say, that's not my business. You want to go,

  364. you go, of course Jesus went later. But you aren't

  365. going to be pushed because of men's words. So are

  366. we looking for fame and popularity in our personal lives

  367. as well? All right? I mean, if you're a good worker,

  368. you're a good manager. Praise the Lord, God's favor on you.

  369. And if God's favors on you, you you have everything

  370. in Christ Priority, priority, third one? Okay, what what would

  371. draw us away? What would draw us away? Number one?

  372. We are attracted to something else except Jesus. We are

  373. one fame and popularity. And last the third point is priority.

  374. What is the priority in our lives? Who is the

  375. priority in our lives? Who is a parity in ext church?

  376. Extra us? We are, we are extra located injuri Us.

  377. What is your privarity? Big thing? Japarty? I don't know

  378. what the name of the japarty? Okay, anyway, all right?

  379. What what is our pararity? So the but but what

  380. Jesus teach us is Matthew twenty eight. Matthew twenty eight

  381. twenty says, what does he say? We we are inundated

  382. with the Matthew twenty eight. Go go and make disciples. Okay,

  383. so we all know that. Now we can go, okay,

  384. main disciples. But then don't full stop there? Don't full

  385. stop there? Read the next verse, verse twenty teaching them

  386. to observe all things that I have commanded you and

  387. I am with you always. So who is our party?

  388. Who is our church party? Are we preaching Jesus because

  389. people might don't talk about Jesus, can talk about something else?

  390. How about how about it what's happening in Israel? How about?

  391. How about is trom going to be the anti Christ? You?

  392. I don't know something as us? What I preach about?

  393. ENTI end times? Hey, I appreach about what you should

  394. live today? And times can come and times can go?

  395. Are you still rooted in Christ? So I'm not going

  396. to purposely preacher and times posly a purposely preacher. No,

  397. I have to teach you and I together learn to

  398. live every day with Jesus. So it doesn't matter it's

  399. an end time or the front time or the back

  400. time or whatever time you are living with Jesus. So

  401. then even if Jesus comes Da dah, you see him.

  402. You're ready. My parents hello you. Every day we teach

  403. you to have Jesus every day, your clothes in Christ

  404. every day. So if Christ comes, you're ready. Why should

  405. I just focus your eyes only on the end time

  406. and then you don't live today for Jesus. That's why

  407. the priority should be commanded teach whatever Jesus has commanded us. Right,

  408. So if I don't teach the full gospel of the

  409. Word of God, we have failed the church. We cannot

  410. So what pulls us? What draws as a church? We

  411. have to be a church. The church in Malaysia must

  412. be careful to be focused on who is our priority, Jesus,

  413. not the latest news so many things. Suddenly, if it's COVID,

  414. talk about COVID. No, I have to talk about Jesus,

  415. my healer. I'm sorry, I have to talk about Jesus,

  416. my healer. I'm not gonna talk about COVID is. How

  417. do you detect if that one is the COVID bug?

  418. I don't know. I try, You know what I mean?

  419. Our priority has to be Christ centered, all right, not

  420. any it focused. It reflects back to us and as

  421. a church, the church right, but individually also question to us,

  422. who's your priority? Are you doing what Jesus commanded you

  423. and me to do? That's why we pitch right. We

  424. do that so friends, work will draw our attention away

  425. or the purpose for us to live as God's people

  426. is we get attracted to so many things, we get distracted,

  427. can be attracted, and then we get distracted from what

  428. may seem borring. The message has been the same since

  429. year before. Don't know how many more than two thousand

  430. years ago. Like I don't know what a messaged. Sorry

  431. every Sunday you talk, I thought about Jesus. Oay, sorry,

  432. that's the only person I know. I don't know. I

  433. thought about Father God. I thought about Holy Spirit, Thank

  434. you Jesus. Like all right, you're boring. Give me la

  435. some famous and popular peoples even for take a poor

  436. man is coughing there or he's just serving Jesus. Brian Houston,

  437. because you know, I just thought about the famous name Jesus. Okay,

  438. and the priority is Jesus. You're boring meal. But that's

  439. the thing, it's the boring food. Mom and Dad's you know, right,

  440. it's the boring food that makes your children grow. Right.

  441. Why do you give your children eggs? Why do you

  442. give them the brown rice? Right? I think it's so boring,

  443. but it's healthy. Right. Why do you give them milk

  444. every day because they need milk? No, anybody's milk, no cow,

  445. Clarabelle the cow or you know, Janey the goat is

  446. mother's milk. Boring, You're not boring? Then you get don't

  447. know what kind of sorry, no chubby baby? Yeah? Boring, right,

  448. But it's the boring and the mundane that gets us.

  449. The narrow way leads us to eternal life. Amen, eternal life.

  450. Sometimes it sounds so boring. You the same every Sunday

  451. if you want Jesus number one, open your heart to

  452. the Lord. Admittbeas Jesus was, give another pat not a pattern.

  453. I don't want another pattern. Okay, I tell my testimony.

  454. Then it's still me. I want to focus on Jesus. Amen.

  455. So remember these things can distract us, or it can.

  456. We are so attracted that we get distracted but the church.

  457. But we need to focus on the Christ who died

  458. for the church. Everything flows from Jesus, including your life

  459. and my life, our own personal life. Is it centered

  460. on Christ? Amen? Is Jesus at the center of it all?

  461. Very dangerous if you sang that song Jesus a center

  462. it all. Oh Jesus Anderson and my church and my

  463. life and my family. Wow, we young If we can

  464. sing like that, now we have to live like that. Amen.

  465. So it helps us as we declare right. So we

  466. must build on Christ, the foundation, the rock, not build

  467. on the whims and fancies of the crowd or what

  468. people want, because it changes right now today you like green,

  469. Tomorrow you want purple? Right? Then change like that? Right?

  470. Why wear green every day? We're borrowing a so be

  471. always changed? Right? But God never changes, and the church

  472. remains faithful to the Christ who laid his life down. Amen. Amen.

  473. So we just want to keep building the church based

  474. on Christ, not on any other fancy stuff. A man

  475. so one thought for us to remember. It was an

  476. example Pastor gave when we take communion, And why did

  477. Jesus introduce the communion to us? You know that the

  478. bread represent the body of Christ is broken for us.

  479. The syrup Okay, the God that I've been now represents

  480. the blood of Jesus. That blood for us. And then

  481. he says, every time you take of it, do this

  482. in remembrance of me, remember me. You know, it's like, Jesus,

  483. is this is this? What's the word? Uh? Maybe I

  484. use it all the time, insecure person? Why every time

  485. I take I must remember Jesus. Jesus is your problem

  486. in security? Is it right? He's saying, every time you

  487. do this, remember me? So insecurement. We might be thinking,

  488. like the God that we serve is the insecure god.

  489. You know, He's like, why does he want us to

  490. wash it him? Because he's God? We are his creation.

  491. So when Jesus said, when every time you partic of

  492. this communion, it's a remembrance that he came that here

  493. too the cross, and he didn't do it for fun.

  494. He came to get us free from sin and the

  495. clutches of eternal death. So you remember me, right, and

  496. when you remember Jesus. Yeah, every time we take them,

  497. you know, yes, thank you Jesus. So thankful, right because

  498. yesterday you don't know what I did last summer? Thank

  499. you Jesus. You know you wash my sins away. Amen,

  500. we remember his name Jesus, then we remember, oh yeah,

  501. it's Jesus. It's Jesus. It's Jesus. It ain't know the

  502. the you know the cross. My Jesus ain't no souvenir

  503. hanging on the wall. He's real. He's not hanging on

  504. the wall on my neck. He's living inside of me. Amen.

  505. So it's okay if you have a cross, it's okay,

  506. it's okay. But it's not just. It's not that Jesus

  507. hanging on my neck or hanging on the wall. And

  508. there's no relationship, no recognition that this is says who

  509. did it for me? Who took away my insecurities, who

  510. took away my no confidence and not confident. I just

  511. cannot do the Christ. But Jesus say, I've done it

  512. for you, all my pain, all my shame. He took

  513. it my sin. So the thinking of the communion help

  514. us to remember Jesus. Amen. And he's telling us that

  515. that there is no other way. It's me, okay, it's me,

  516. and that we we we we are being reminded again

  517. and again, maybe because we forget easily, Amen, And that

  518. we will give him glory, not give glory to I

  519. think sometimes we give glory, like you know, there was

  520. one time well, I tell you this story. I don't

  521. know how much time I should end. Ready. You know,

  522. one time, a long time ago, after nine years of

  523. being married, I finally got pregnant, right, and then I

  524. had a miscarriage. And so I told this person, yeah,

  525. I got a miscarriage. Some of you. I say, so

  526. I had a miscarriage. And someone said, oh, I'm so sorry.

  527. The person say, you know why you got pregnant because

  528. of the vitamins I introduced you doing it. I'm like,

  529. what Jesus gave me pregnant, not your vitamins. I was

  530. so shocked did this to say? I see you that

  531. that Brandon gave you a I've never heard that before. No,

  532. I pray, I asked the Lord. But unfortunately my body

  533. wouldn't carry through the baby. And so we give glory

  534. who am way? Oh? Who's Anna? I don't know what else?

  535. I don't know all the names are all right, I

  536. can't remember his name. We give glory to other things

  537. except Jesus. Hey, even if you found the best doctor,

  538. thank God, God give me that. Amen. Oh if my

  539. you know I've had these sickness. Lord is the one

  540. who hear me, not the vitam means it was a

  541. byproduct or a great doctor who had a girl read

  542. inspired God moment and said, hey, take this, you know,

  543. then we give glory back to God. That's why Jesus

  544. not insecure. He notes that we got problem with remembering.

  545. He just remember me, amen, right, because he doesn't want

  546. us to make make monuments of Elijah and Moses. Right,

  547. a man, you know, and in days to come, you

  548. will outlive me because I'm already old, and we are old.

  549. And then we pass away radio or whatever I got tickets,

  550. I hope, sola, and then and then you don't make

  551. a monument of us. Yes, we can refer to, yes,

  552. the founders, but when the founders are far gone, can

  553. you even remember what this church was built on Jesus?

  554. If we just Jesus, Amen, hallelujah. Amen. So that's the point.

  555. What can go? With testing and trials and temptations will come?

  556. All of us will have testing, trials and temptations, all right,

  557. and we have to ask the Lord, how Lord, how Lord?

  558. Remember again our priority? Do all that Jesus had told

  559. us to do from word of God as we read it. Amen.

  560. So those are the three points, and the next second

  561. point was What does Christ centeredness look like? What does

  562. Christ centeredness look like? Christ centeredness? How does he look like?

  563. How are you keep talking about Christ anderedness? Tell the

  564. only one way? I got no other answer. Keep your

  565. eyes on Jesus. Sorry again, Jesus, are you arama Pastai?

  566. Got no other point. Keep your eyes on Jesus. All right.

  567. This is the church. It's built on Christ. If I

  568. preach you anything else, you should be careful. Why is

  569. she preaching some built on Oh is the Canada? Cheen?

  570. Oh is the again? Other founders? No? Again? Know, Yes,

  571. they've done great things, but they were servants of the

  572. Lord who did what God as saim to do. That's it.

  573. And then the Holy spe continue to use so many

  574. of you to build God's house or to to to

  575. to disciple others, or to reach out to others. We

  576. do it together. We do it with the help of

  577. the Holy Spirit. Friends, we have to keep our eyes

  578. on Jesus because Hebrews Chapter twelve, verse two says you

  579. know this verse, run this race, ran this race right,

  580. run it looking looking and do who Amen, the author

  581. and finisher of our faith, Keep our eyes on the lot. Amen.

  582. You know you will go to many testings. Sometimes in life.

  583. It could be people bully you. It could be not

  584. getting your promotion, it could be O caase like me.

  585. You know, I don't have children. I don't have So

  586. what do I sit there, squad there and cry? Honestly,

  587. I can't why. Because my Jesus is living inside of me.

  588. Doesn't matter. It doesn't make me a better woman, a

  589. stronger woman, doesn't matter. He makes me his child. So

  590. that was my testing and my child. What do I do?

  591. Do I dig some hole? I'm sorry. I cannot be

  592. in a hole, so I just have to live low.

  593. I have to keep my eyes on Jesus and try

  594. and try again. Then it happened. I feel sorry for myself.

  595. Know maybe if I have to sit down and think,

  596. I don't want to sit down and thing like that.

  597. I've got so many good things to think about, right,

  598. So I just think, Okay, I think we tried. It

  599. just must be our business. But if God wanted it,

  600. you will give it to me, right because we keep

  601. our eyes on Jesus. Amen, we keep don't look to

  602. the left or to the right. Really keep your eyes

  603. on Him. And and and I like what was shed

  604. to us. Uh, And I love this. It's my favorite

  605. verse is that Jesus says the whoa, the devil comes

  606. to still kill and destroy, But I have come to

  607. give you life and more abundantly life, more abundantly right.

  608. That verse set me free many many years ago. Yeah, really,

  609. you know I'll be there in a whole ready. But

  610. thank you to Jesus. Is an abundant life. And how

  611. FASTA put it for us as we were learning from him,

  612. is that there's nothing on earth you cannot have if

  613. Christ wants it for you. Come on, that's nothing on

  614. earth you cannot have if Christ wants it for you.

  615. Christ wants you to have something. And you and the

  616. whole people all the world will say, you'll never get it.

  617. You'll never get it, You'll never get it. You just can't.

  618. You just poor, like just like the guy that I dated,

  619. the doctor, medical doctor who said to me, if you

  620. leave me because I broke up with him, if you

  621. leave me, you will never see the world. I didn't

  622. have to think. I just as just this naive kid, right,

  623. and I just I don't care. I'm just happy to

  624. stay in my church and surf. I don't care if

  625. I never travel the world. It's Okay, it's not everything,

  626. isn't it true? You got the food at home, drink

  627. water every day, you can breathe, you got health. There's

  628. everything you can so if you can move, you can work,

  629. you can earn, you can find a way to travel

  630. if you want to. But because I'm from a poor family,

  631. my father lost everything, nothing, nothing to give me, no house, nothing,

  632. So he knows I'm poor. But if Christ wants it

  633. for you, you ask the Lord. I mean even my education.

  634. My father lost all the money to help me to

  635. edit what I do? What do I do? Do I

  636. sit there and cry and be the spoiled child like

  637. some rich kid. No, go and work, clas just go

  638. and work and fund my own way to school. Then

  639. work and study what can study? And then God provided

  640. as I asked the Lord, Lord, you are my provider.

  641. And then he provided a scholarship for me so I

  642. could study and finish it. I finished very first two years.

  643. I graduated professional paper of course, and then build my

  644. career based on my profession. And I graduated the same

  645. time like my classmates graduated. I was so kiasu. Yeah,

  646. I couldn't go to university. I just I should have tried.

  647. I think I could have entered with a choose a

  648. course that nobody wanted, literature, you know, could have I

  649. just lost hope because I didn't get the ace that needed.

  650. Keep your eyes on Jesus. It's a lot of things

  651. we won't have, but there's a lot of things we

  652. will also have. Amen, Amen, I think I want to

  653. tell you, maybe you don't think the same moment. Don't

  654. value this. Maybe your value is different. That's why I

  655. ask you, what do you value? Core values? When my

  656. father lost everything, we rented, right, we rented when we

  657. got married. He earned five hundred dollars very good now,

  658. and then I earned maybe a thousand over teaching. And

  659. then we rented a house to stay. Not wrong, right,

  660. because you can rent, but people will say, are you

  661. you should buy a house? Buy it? What my millionaires?

  662. And then we said, actually, because we were just getting

  663. ready that we can leave any time when God says,

  664. go to India, go to you know, China, goever the missionary. Right,

  665. So we were living like that because we wanted to

  666. be ready for God. So I got no liabilities, right

  667. is it called it liabilities? Yes? Yes? Can nothing to know?

  668. So just can drop everything and go except I can't

  669. drop my family, take care my mom and dad. But

  670. but when God wanted us to have a house, I

  671. was happy renting because I knew anytime God calls, we

  672. can just drop everything. And then God said have a house.

  673. And He's like, no, we don't need that. When he

  674. told me, God says, I want to I don't need it.

  675. I don't need a house. I'm going to buy a house.

  676. Buy a house. I don't even know. All right, already

  677. got to do so many miracles, and then say buy house.

  678. By house is a bigger miracle. But God wants you'd

  679. have a house. Then he pays the bill, and he

  680. kindly provides for us. And God provided for us the

  681. down payment for a million dollar hour, nine hundred thousand

  682. something like that. I told you nine hundred thousands. Well,

  683. but the check came in for ninety thousand exactly. God

  684. wants you to have the house. And then now we're

  685. thinking we'll go back and rent another place. The house

  686. will maybe we'll give it to the church so that

  687. they can use it for all your training sessions. I

  688. don't know. I don't know, I don't know. I don't

  689. have children to give heritage, so I give it back

  690. to the church. That's why my husbands playing like, Okay,

  691. if you're DIARYTD and me who just rent her? So

  692. keep your eyes on Jesus. Amen, guys, keep your eyes

  693. on Jesus. Don't be scared. I also, if you have

  694. a million, I adopt. You know, some people say have to, Oh,

  695. you don't have children, you should adopt. Adopt for what?

  696. No son? When you oh, they can take care of you.

  697. Oh my goodness, how selfish. When you adopt, it's because

  698. you want to give a future for this child, and

  699. that child will carry your name, and you give them

  700. an identity. God adopted us to give us an identity

  701. and to save us, not so that I can take

  702. care of him. And he goes old. He never goes old.

  703. I say, I'm not gonna adopt no kid because I'm

  704. good old at it. I tell you what, parents in

  705. this house. You know, your kids are there, but they're

  706. not taking care of you because they've got their own

  707. families to take care of. That's the truth. So I

  708. ain't gonna adopt somebody because I want someone to take

  709. care of me when old. It's okay, somebody will take

  710. care of Mela. I don't know who but Jesus right.

  711. Keep your eyes on Jesus right, and he has to

  712. be the one who takes care of us. And therefore

  713. number following that is to keep his commandments. I already

  714. said it, right, John fourteen fifteen says, if you love me,

  715. Jesus says, keep my commandments. Amen, keep my commandments. If

  716. you don't know his commandments, it's time to tick up

  717. the Bible. Read God's word, meditate one small portion at

  718. the time. That is his command forgive love your neighbor. Amen,

  719. help those who can help themselves, speak up for those

  720. who can't speak up. Pray for those who need healing.

  721. Pray for those you know. Visit the poor, the ones

  722. in the jail, in the prison, you know, clothe those

  723. who have no clue. This is commandment of Jesus. Go

  724. and do that. Paul really, under the inspiration of Holy Spa,

  725. also wrote so many of the epistles teaching us how

  726. to live right. So, friends, how what does Christ centeredness

  727. look like? Keep your eyes on Jesus and follow what

  728. he tells you to do. Amen. Moving on, we have

  729. to end ready, Number three, how do we keep Christ

  730. in the center? Okay, seems like the same question. By anyway,

  731. that's what the book says. So I have to find

  732. the details. I just want to make sure you follow.

  733. So how do we keep Jesus at the center? Sorry,

  734. I come back the same thing. Just Jesus JJ, all right,

  735. Joline and Joel JJ. Just Jesus, okay, Jesus and no other.

  736. You know, Jesus was not very concerned about how big

  737. his congregation was. In John chapter six, you read John

  738. chapter the whole of John chapter six, people were following

  739. him because he was healing them. He was feeding them.

  740. He was you know, you know, lifting up the down hearted,

  741. the broken heart. He was healing right. And then he

  742. suddenly had to talk about communion, eat my blood, eat

  743. my flesh. What is this? What is it? What's cannibalism?

  744. Eat my blood, eat my body or yo. They couldn't

  745. take it. They're like, no, this is nonsense. No, he says,

  746. I'm going to give you a new covenant and my blood. Yo.

  747. So after they heard this, they say he has gone mad,

  748. as a demon in him and on that day they

  749. all left him. So if he had a church of

  750. a thousand, they all left him. Only twelve people remain.

  751. And then he asked them bitter, so do you all

  752. want to leave me too? Because they've all gone. So,

  753. if he was interested in fame and popularity, he wouldn't

  754. have done what Father told him to do, which was

  755. to say, I will be that bread, I will be

  756. that that cup. Right, And so in John six sixty

  757. eight and sixty nine, Jesus asked all of them, twelve

  758. of them, so do you want to leave me too?

  759. What do you say? And then Jesus said, and Peter

  760. Peter rose up to say, no, Lord, you are the Christ. Amen.

  761. Let's look at that verse, so you know I'm not

  762. blying to you, okay, six sixty six sixty six sixty

  763. six is from that time onwards. They all left him.

  764. They all left him all right, and they just moved away.

  765. They walked with him no more. And then sixty sixty seven,

  766. then Jesus said to the twelve, because they look like

  767. they're all standing there still, gabron Hollo one thousand church,

  768. we all work for all our offerings gone. If you're

  769. thinking about offerings. All the people left. They were like,

  770. go brah. And then Jesus said, so do you also

  771. want to go away? Peter said, Lord to whom shall

  772. we go. You have the words of eternal life. Also

  773. we have come to believe and know that you are

  774. the Christ, the son of the Living God. Amen. So

  775. just Jesus, nothing else, not the healings, not the not

  776. the miracle of five loaves and two fish. Just Jesus.

  777. When you have Jesus, your five loaves and two fish

  778. will multiply. Just Jesus. And the most importantly, even as

  779. you look unto Jesus, you must surrender to the Lord.

  780. Many many distractions will come, many attractions will come, many

  781. temptations will come. But we have to live that life

  782. that will be surrendered to the Lord. There are things

  783. we have to surrender. Lie right, we want something, we

  784. don't like, something, we upset read something, we very happy

  785. with something. But all of these have to be surrendered.

  786. Paul in Philippians three says, you know, I press on

  787. to the upward call, letting go of all that's behind me.

  788. And it could be good Echolades, and or it could

  789. be bad experiences. But he press on to the upward

  790. call of God, and he goes forward by surrendering the

  791. things that have been good, and also surrendering those things

  792. which have been broken in our lives and we just

  793. have to move forward. And you know what, not everybody

  794. will understand. Seriously, they won't understand why you're doing this.

  795. They don't even understand what in the world you are doing.

  796. Why are you choosing this power? But it's not about

  797. the fame and popularity, but everybody saying, yes, more important

  798. is God's giving the not to you. You are my

  799. good and faithful servant. Amen. Yeah, that is more important.

  800. If you really sit down by yourself, why nobody you

  801. go to your favorite cafe que No, I know your

  802. got your favorite cafe, and then you have your eyes

  803. cut of much ah, right, and then then you just

  804. take a journal and then you just fart quiet for

  805. a moment and be still. I believe the law will

  806. speak to you and encourage you, and then you will

  807. see what is the priority in your life. If it's

  808. not a godly party, an eternal priority, the law will

  809. remind you. Then you know, he will then have to

  810. say remember me, not because he's insecure, but because he

  811. is your ankle faith. Amen, the Amen surrendered to the Lord.

  812. You know, there's so many verses like in Luke nine

  813. twenty three, it's about Jesus is you know, if you

  814. want to come, come and come take up the cross

  815. and follow me? How many of us are willing? Actually?

  816. You know you ask us really and go down to it.

  817. Are we really take up the cross and then follow Jesus? Yo?

  818. Take up the cross me? People laugh at me, you know,

  819. because I'm a Christian. Take up the cross is sometimes

  820. having to forgive people and walk on. You know. Sometimes

  821. take up the cross means I might still have this sickness.

  822. You know, I might still have the leg. You know,

  823. I I haven't got my million dollars. You know, I

  824. haven't paid the debt. Nobody take up my chrossler and

  825. then follow Christ. Because actually, if Jesus really walked today

  826. on Earth, I don't know if we will follow him.

  827. Number One, he did not look like Shao Khan or

  828. Jun Cook k Number two, he was not rich. He

  829. didn't even own a house, probably rented, you know, he

  830. didn't have the groovy clothes, oh my gosh, sack cloth,

  831. doesn't even drive, probably at a best bar. I don't

  832. think we would want to follow Jesus because he's not

  833. Warren Buffett, because he's not Donald Trump, because he's not

  834. Mark Zuckerberg because he's just not a lot of musk.

  835. I think the honest truth is we won't follow Jesus

  836. if he was here today. He has no fame, he

  837. ain't good looking. He doesn't even promise you that you

  838. will score one hundred points for your isam, or you

  839. will be rich, whatever. But he does promise you that

  840. I will be with you, and I will be the

  841. same yesterday, today and tomorrow. And when you have you

  842. want joy, I will give you that joy. I will

  843. give you that joy. Ask of me whatever you need,

  844. and I will answer you. There's a mountain in your life.

  845. Speak to that mountain in my name. That mountain will

  846. be removed. That's what he offers us. He offers us

  847. eternal life and our names written in the Lamb's Book

  848. of Life. I don't know, you might say, where is

  849. the Lamb's Book of Life? I can't see it, and

  850. you just he say, believe in me, follow me, and

  851. that your name will be written on the Lamb's Book

  852. of life. What are your burdens that you're carrying? Have

  853. you surrendered to the Lord so many things that you

  854. so many things that bother me? And do we surrender

  855. it to the Lord. I want to be like this.

  856. I want to be I wish this. I wish that

  857. in the comparison never stops, right, it never stops. Honestly,

  858. it never stops. This is earth, this is the world.

  859. Yet it is a beautiful world that God made. Make

  860. him the center of our lives. Amen, Make him the

  861. sense of our church. Even as a church, we have

  862. to surrender to the Lord. How do we live? How

  863. do we continue to keep Christ? Then you tell yourself

  864. every day you wake up relations two twenty, it's no

  865. longer either live. Christ was crucified for me. It's no

  866. longer I who lives, but the life there I now live.

  867. I live by faith in the son of God who

  868. loved me and died for me. I'm crucified with Christ,

  869. and you crucified with Christ. You and I don't actually

  870. actually were like the walking dead, so they always say,

  871. and did people feel offended? Right? Dead people cannot get

  872. offended right because they're dead. So we are dad to

  873. the flesh, but alife in the spirit. Amen. Amen. And

  874. that's that's only possible because Christ is in the center. Amen.

  875. It's hard to live like the dead man. I can't

  876. because I still get offended a little bit, and then

  877. I tell myself, die, die to yourself, and come alive

  878. in Christ and turn't hold onto these things. Right, our ministry,

  879. we encourage, We encourage ourselves in the lot, like how

  880. King David did right when he was very down. Everybody

  881. wanted to kill him in a second semul thirty, but

  882. he encourages for semul thirty. You want to encourage himself. Right.

  883. So church, we are a church that is anchored in Christ,

  884. looking unto Jesus, the authorn finisher of our faith, because

  885. of the joy that was set before him. Let me

  886. see calculated ready. You know, the joy of going to

  887. be strip, naked, beaten humiliates it. You know, accused as

  888. a as a robber, accused as a traitor, accused as

  889. a criminal. But the joy that was said before him.

  890. He endured the cross. Jesus endured the cross, and, despising

  891. the shame he had to, he sat down at the

  892. right hand of the throne of God. Amen. Somebody went

  893. before you and me, and his name is Jesus. Every

  894. time we partake of the communion, we remember it's Jesus. Amen.

  895. He just remember me. I'm here. If you are, if

  896. you forgot that I'm here. Jesus is is not because

  897. he's insecure, is because we might forget and get attracted

  898. and distracted with different things. Amen. So those are some

  899. of the key thoughts for us today. And we as

  900. we gonna close and we're gonna pray, I just want

  901. to say to us, in all things, I'm slowly beginning

  902. to understand a little bit more about seeking first the

  903. Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and then all these

  904. things will be added unto you seek first the Kingdom

  905. which is which you. It's not in in in silver

  906. and gold. It's not silver and gold, it's not things

  907. you can touch and see. The Kingdom of God is

  908. amazingly generous and and it's so full of life in Christ.

  909. And if we seek the righteousness of God, all the

  910. things that you and I need will be added back

  911. to us. Amen. Don't don't don't carry the burdens that

  912. the world throws at us. Maybe you don't understand everything

  913. we do. Why we must do this. That's why the

  914. Lord says, come, come and speak. Talk. Talk to the Lord.

  915. He hears us. Because the Holy Spirit is living in us. Amen.

  916. So we center our lives on Christ and whatever we are,

  917. who we are, what we are. You know, if you

  918. just live in the who you are, you'll never will

  919. never amount to anything that that we makes a difference.

  920. It's only when we are in Christ we stand forgiven,

  921. we stand washed in the blood of Jesus. We could

  922. have many lackings or blessings, but it is in Christ,

  923. in Christ alone only. Amen. So I'm telling you honestly,

  924. I'm not because I'm I'm just saying to you. If

  925. people ask me, just yes, somebody asked me, do you

  926. have children? And I say no with a smile, I'm

  927. not crying. I have such freedom. But that's my life.

  928. God chose for me, and I'm serving the lot and

  929. I just laid up to the lot again. Surrender to

  930. the lot again. Amen. Amen. I just have a child

  931. somewhere in heaven. I just have to look at life differently.

  932. Just I'm not like you. Doesn't make you less a woman,

  933. doesn't make me less a woman. Right, God is so

  934. good to us. So come church, Come and remind yourself

  935. that Jesus is the center of our church, and he's

  936. the center of our own walk with Jesus. Jesus at

  937. the center, Amen. And that's what counts for us to

  938. go the long, long haul when we don't focus left, right, everywhere,

  939. every distraction, everything nice other people doing. Let's follow be

  940. centered on Christ. It's a good reminder, Amen, it's a

  941. good call value for us to remember that this church

  942. is built on Jesus and our personal lives, our personal

  943. walk in Jesus is also anchored on Jesus and nothing

  944. more or nothing less Jesus. Amen.
