  1. You're listening to a message to go from X Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your.

  3. Day today's word. And if you have these little booklets,

  4. we are actually doing twelve plus one core values. Now

  5. there are basically the core values of X church, right,

  6. but they're not how should I say, just for X.

  7. They are basically it's like the early church. It is

  8. like how it was during the time of the Book

  9. of X. And what were those values that made it

  10. very special for them? My word I'm sweating is the

  11. aircon on. It is right, that's what happens when you're

  12. seeing without practicing. Okay, you sweat, Okay, praise the Lord,

  13. you know, Okay, word faithful, Let's go on. In Acts

  14. two forty two, it says, and they continued stadfastly in

  15. the apostles, doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread

  16. and impress. Here they continued stadfastly in the apostles. What doctrine?

  17. What was the doctrine? The doctrine basically is the Word

  18. of God. Hey, guys, you and I, we live by

  19. our thoughts, we live by our actions, we live by

  20. our work. But what's important is we live by the

  21. Word of God. All right now. In Matthew twenty four

  22. thirty five, it says this heaven and earth. Heaven and

  23. Earth will pass away, but my words will by no

  24. means pass away. Now, I wanted to study this, and

  25. I went a little bit deeper into this word heaven

  26. and Earth. And I thought, before I studied it that

  27. this word heaven actually means like the sky. You know,

  28. it means like out of space. You know, it means

  29. that that kind of heaven, and it does. It means that.

  30. But I was shocked to learn that it also means

  31. the abode of God. That's what that word means. The

  32. one really shocked me, all right. And then of course

  33. it says earth. Now Earth, you know what earth is.

  34. We are standing on Earth, although we are eleven stories up,

  35. so we're standing on concrete, right, But it is still

  36. on the earth because without the earth, this building will

  37. be floating and that does not happen. So heaven and

  38. Earth will pass away. So it is not saying that

  39. the heaven of the abode of God is going to

  40. pass away. It's not staying saying that. It is drawing

  41. something so fantastic for us to understand what he's trying

  42. to get at So he's saying, even my abode can

  43. pass away, but my word will by no means pass away.

  44. So what is God actually telling us in this scripture?

  45. God is actually putting the Word of God in its

  46. perspective and place, in his realm, in his understanding, in

  47. how he expects you and us to live. He has

  48. actually put it as the most important thing his word.

  49. This word will not pass away. In other words, the

  50. most fantastic thing you can think of will not last.

  51. But my word is eternal. Who is the word? Jesus

  52. is the word. So that's the first thing we learn

  53. next week. Learn the Word of God is so central

  54. to the life of a Christian simply because it is unshakeable.

  55. It is unshakable. Guys, you and I will face so

  56. many things in life. We're gonna face troubles at work.

  57. We're gonna face joyful time with our family. We are

  58. gonna face heartache with them as well. It's not gonna

  59. be easy. There'll be fights, there'll be strife. Hey, look,

  60. we're gonna face challenges. Some will be good, some won't

  61. be so good. We're gonna face all kinds of things.

  62. I am sixty five years old and I think only

  63. talked by you, sister least all right, and the Chinese

  64. says she's eaten more salt? Am I right? Okay, so

  65. I eat a little bit less salt than you, and

  66. all of the rest got a long bags of salt

  67. to eat before they come to our level. All right,

  68. bags and bags kilograms or salt. Don't eat all the

  69. salt and thing you'll get to our stage. Okay, that's

  70. not what the Chinese proverb means. But what I'm sure

  71. she will tell you, and I am here to tell you,

  72. is despite every issue that we've gone in life, having children,

  73. seeing them grow up, go to school, go to college,

  74. get married, all these things, God has been the one

  75. to help us through the tough stuff, and every time

  76. we face the difficulty, we ran to his word. Jeremiah

  77. thirty three says Jeremiah thirty three, verse three. Let me

  78. read that to you. It says, this call on to me,

  79. and I will answer you and show you great and

  80. mighty things which you do not know. This is what

  81. the word of God says. Man. If you understand that word,

  82. you won't be afraid when something bad happens. I remember

  83. that when I was in school, I was in. I

  84. was studying in Singapore, right, And I've told this to

  85. many people that during the time I was studying there,

  86. I was staying in a hostel. So I'd go to

  87. school the whole day. I'll be in school from seven

  88. in the morning because I have to start actually getting

  89. on the bus at six. I'll reach school around seven

  90. seven fifteen. I'll be in school from seven until seven

  91. in the night. Why because I did all sorts of things.

  92. I was the tennis coach. I was all the whole shebang.

  93. I will reach my hostel back at eight eight thirty.

  94. Then I go and have my dinner, do my little

  95. bit of homework, do my studies, and eleven o'clock, you

  96. know what I do, go to church. What was I

  97. doing in church? Praying for deliverance cases together with the

  98. pastor from eleven to maybe three am, four am, five am,

  99. catch one or two hours sleep, and repeat the whole

  100. cycle again. This is what I did almost every day.

  101. So I would go and share with my friends what

  102. the Word of God could do and how demons came

  103. out in the name of Jesus, because the Word of

  104. God said it so. Based on Jeremiah thirty three, I

  105. wrote in my one of my friend's autograph books. So

  106. many years later I lost track of them. It's about

  107. ten fifteen years later. No, in fact, not thirty years later.

  108. Thirty years later I get into contact with one of them,

  109. one of my classmates. So I asked him, what are

  110. you doing? He says, I'm a pastor. I said, what

  111. you're pastor? How did that happen? He says, you're to blame.

  112. I said, what do you mean I'm to blame. I

  113. haven't seen you in thirty years. He says, don't you

  114. remember what you wrote in my autograph book? I said,

  115. are you kidding? I can't remember what I wrote last night.

  116. I'm going to remember what I wrote thirty five years ago.

  117. He says, this is what you wrote in my auto Now,

  118. how many of you know what an autograph book is? Okay?

  119. A few of us older ones? Oh, the young ones also, okay, okay, okay,

  120. this little book. And then before you leave cal you

  121. gave everybody in. They write nonsense inside most of the time,

  122. they write nonsense. Most of the time. Roses are red,

  123. violence are blue. You know, no one looks as ugly

  124. as you. All that kind of nonsense. They were right

  125. in your autograph book. But I wrote this. I wrote,

  126. if ever you run into trouble, call on the name

  127. of Jesus and he will come and he will help you.

  128. That's what I wrote to him. He said, that's what

  129. you wrote to me. So he said, what happened? I said,

  130. He said, well, I was on my yacht. By the way,

  131. this friend of mine, he was a multi millionaire. So

  132. even when he was studying with me, he was so rich.

  133. His father bought him car in nineteen seventy nine. If

  134. you were in Singapore and you owned a car, you

  135. were very rich. In fact, if you own a car

  136. in Singapore now you are very rich. So anyway, he

  137. was so rich. He was so rich his father bought

  138. him a car. I remember it was a Nissan Blue Bird.

  139. So anyway, he said, I was on my yacht and

  140. I was alone in the ocean, and something happened and

  141. I was about to die. Everything was not working. I

  142. was alone, and that was it. It was a gone

  143. case for me at that moment. I remembered what you

  144. wrote in my autograph book, and I called on the

  145. name of Jesus, and this is what he said. Jesus

  146. came walking on the water and saved him. He said,

  147. the moment he got to show, he gave everything up

  148. and went to serve the Lord full time. He's a

  149. pastor today. He's a pastor in Indonesia. And you and

  150. I we think the word of God is just words. No,

  151. it's not solid, it's unshakable, it's immovable. It does not

  152. you know, if I were to be a person, one

  153. day I speak to you this, and the next day

  154. I speak to you that, do you have trust in

  155. what I say? If I flip flop like that, I

  156. mean I'm not steady, I'm not sure. I'm not immovable

  157. when I say something that is just talking rand Do

  158. you know people like that? I know people like that.

  159. But the ones who are firmed. Once it's said, it's done,

  160. it's done, finish. So the moment they say it's taken

  161. care of, you walk away and you already know. I

  162. don't need to worry about it. That's God, unshakable, immovable,

  163. You can count on it, the word of God. So

  164. the word is exalted above God's own name. This is

  165. another one that I struggle with. Wow, your word is

  166. above your name? Until we understand that God's name is

  167. the embodiment of his word. You and I sometimes we

  168. take the name of Jesus. Very likely you Cantonese people,

  169. more cong yes, soon? Why not? I learned this a

  170. long time ago. What more cong YAsO me? Don't talk

  171. Jesus literally means don't talk nonsense? Why not? Okay? You

  172. all are very you don't answer. Okay, I'm telling you

  173. that's what it means. Right. I'm sixty years old, sixty

  174. five years old. This is what we learn not during

  175. the seventies. You know how it helped me. One day

  176. I was meeting with a contractor and a contractor was

  177. trying to cheat us, trying to cheat us a six

  178. hundred dollars. So when I questioned him, then the contractor

  179. spoke no. The consultants spoke to the contractor more cong

  180. So I took very dramatic I took the big file

  181. of the contract and I threw it on the table.

  182. He said, more con What did you tell him not

  183. to tell me? So I learned some as cantonist. God's

  184. word is not like that. God's word is exalted above

  185. his own name. Hey, do you believe it that when

  186. you pray for people they will get healed? Okay, you're

  187. saying amen just because I'm asking the question, or you

  188. really believe it. If you really believe it, then you

  189. are God's power on this earth today to bring healing

  190. to your friends. Hey, God's word did not say only

  191. the pastors can lay hands in the name of Jesus

  192. and the people will be healed. You are a rotten person,

  193. so if you pray in the name of Jesus, nothing

  194. will happen. Guys, God's Scripture, in God's Scripture, we are

  195. already known to be rotten. Scripture says there's no good, no,

  196. not one, not even one. So if you look at

  197. yourself in the mirror and say you're good, God's word

  198. looks at you and says you're not good, not even one.

  199. But you see, God did not institute that as the

  200. criteria for his word to work. What was the criteria

  201. instituted for the for the word to work? His name?

  202. Because his name is above everything else. I don't know

  203. whether I shared this with you before, but this one

  204. will help you. But please don't do it unless the

  205. Lord speaks to you. I don't want you to say, oh,

  206. I did something like this because the speaker said that, No, no, no,

  207. you are responsible for your own faith. My daughter was

  208. about a year old. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, just lessen

  209. a year and we went to church and she was

  210. crying and crying and crying, none stop crying and crying

  211. and crying. But we were in church to do what

  212. to worship God? God first, this is my understanding. Okay,

  213. God first, I'm so bad. I let my daughter cry.

  214. I know why she was crying. I mean I don't

  215. have extra vision, so I don't know why she's crying. Okay,

  216. she cried immediately after the service, after the worship was over,

  217. she was still crying. That would be now four to

  218. six hours. So I told my wife, let's take her

  219. to the hospital. So we took her to the hospital.

  220. And when we went to the hospital, the doctor did

  221. an national examination and say, she's dislocated the army. Baby,

  222. She's just located arm. So when you carry a child,

  223. don't carry a child with the two arms. You just

  224. carry the two arms. Let not good, carry the child

  225. under the arm with the body. That's how you carry

  226. a child anyway. So he says, I'm going to get

  227. the X ray ready. I looked at my wife and

  228. my daughter was still sitting on her lap and still crying.

  229. So she was sitting down. I was standing up. I

  230. had a toy in my hand, but my daughter was crying.

  231. And I looked at my wife and I said, I

  232. am not happy with my child going through an X

  233. ray at this age. So let's pray. Father. We went

  234. through a service, we honored you, and your word says

  235. that we honor you. You'll be there for us, You'll

  236. honor us back. So Father, I pray in the name

  237. of Jesus, heal her right now. In Jesus name, me pray.

  238. And the moment I said in Jesus Name, I pray,

  239. my daughter reached out to grab the toy from me

  240. with the arm that was supposed to be dislocated, and

  241. immediately she started giggling and giggling and giggling, from crying

  242. to giggling and giggling and giggling and laughing and gig

  243. she was laughing. So I just looked at my wife

  244. and says, she's healed. Let's go. So I just took

  245. her to the counter. I'm telling you the truth. I

  246. just took her to the counter. Tell the doctor not necessary,

  247. she's healed. And I walked up. Why is that where

  248. is the name of Jesus. God's word is exalted above

  249. his own name. In Psalms one thirty eight, verse two,

  250. it says, I will worship two words your holy temple,

  251. and praise your name for your loving kindness and your truth.

  252. For your name have magnified your word above For you

  253. have magnified your word above all your name. Wow, you

  254. have magnified your word above all your name. That was

  255. an act of God. You say it was God who

  256. has done it. God has said the word is going

  257. to be above my name. Because he said it. I

  258. believe it. I believe it because he said it. And

  259. I know, yes, I know the Lord is going to

  260. see me through. That's a song, by the way, So

  261. it means eh. Okay, let me tell you what is

  262. that word exhoct It means advance, boast, bring up, exceed, excellence, increase,

  263. lift up, magnify, be much, set by, nourished, promoted. That's

  264. what this word means. Exalted above it means to make large.

  265. God has made large his name. And then we talk

  266. about what is his name. That word name means name.

  267. It also means above all his fame, above all his renown.

  268. In other words, God is identified by his name, and

  269. the word exceeds even that. It is an honor, it

  270. is an authority and character. Wow, Jesus, Jesus Jesus was called,

  271. is called what the word? The word made flesh When

  272. everything else feels, go back to the word. I tell

  273. you that. On eighteenth of December twenty twenty five, I

  274. was doing some work in base Cam and I hurt

  275. my knee. I hurt my right knee. Wow. I thought

  276. it would go away. You know, guys, we tried me. Macho,

  277. We don't go to the doctor straight away. I'll get better.

  278. One month went to two, Two months went to three.

  279. Finally three and a half months. I decided to go

  280. ahead to the doctor. Three and a half months. I'm

  281. walking like this every day now, every day like this

  282. for three months. Three and a half months, I went

  283. to the doctor, who took an X ray. Then the

  284. doctor tone, there's nothing wrong with your leg except you know,

  285. it's muscles. Your age, see age, your age. You got

  286. to go for physio. You got to learn how to

  287. use your leg again. I mean, I've been walking for

  288. sixty five years. All of a sudden, I got to

  289. learn how to use my leg again. What's wrong with

  290. this guide? So anyway, your leg you're old, you're this,

  291. you're that. That was what the doctor said. So anyway,

  292. I continue. Then I have to walk. I have to

  293. open up the school on a Wednesday. That's my turn

  294. to open up the school at seventy am. The thing

  295. about this is that the doors, the glass doors, the

  296. locker is on the floor. What's wrong with this? In

  297. militia you go to China, all the glass doors, the

  298. locker here. You know why on earth we got to

  299. go down there? I have no idea. Seriously, it's so crazy.

  300. The problem is I go down, I cannot come up.

  301. Really serious, truthfully, I cannot come up. And then I

  302. hold the handler to pull myself up. And then I

  303. was afraid I will break the glass door because how

  304. many of you know I don't weigh five pounds. This

  305. cannot work. So what I did was I say, okay, God,

  306. now mine it is my duty. I will buy a

  307. pole a staff so that when I go on a Wednesday,

  308. I'll go down and look and use the staff to

  309. get up. So I was like the last abender, you know,

  310. I brought my own staff. I brought my own staff

  311. to the office so that day I actually only one sir.

  312. I bend down and then I unlocked and I put

  313. the staff and I pulled myself up in work. So

  314. I got up. But you know what God wanted to

  315. see to what extent I would go, still believing in

  316. trusting him, but still doing what I needed to do

  317. because it was right. And you know, I take a

  318. picture and I put it on the group to say

  319. those are open. You know what was my words there?

  320. I encourage the rest of the school. I say every

  321. initial bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

  322. So in my pain, I confess the word. That was

  323. Monday Wednesday. One man met me outside and then after

  324. that they say, hey, you're having problems walking. I see

  325. you struggling. They say, yeah, yeah, I got this problem

  326. with me. He says, come and see me, Come and

  327. see me on Monday. He happened to have been the

  328. professor of Cairo, not Cairo, professor of physiotherapy with Cyberjaya University.

  329. So I went to see him. So he checked my

  330. knee out and he said, oh, you went to the doctor.

  331. Yeah yeah, yeah, you took X ray. Yes, Why did

  332. doctor say nothing wrong? He says, my age, I'm old

  333. muscle's I got to learn how to walk again. Then

  334. he says, I tell you what you know, what's your problem?

  335. You got to dislocated me and don't worry ill. He

  336. didn't give me any notice, No notice given, and suddenly

  337. I can move my knee. I said, Wow, I'm okay,

  338. I'm all right. The next day I went walking ten

  339. kilometers again. That's God, that's how God comes through. I

  340. confessed the word. I spoke the word at the time

  341. when I was feeling pain, and God saw that I

  342. was still willing to do the right thing. He arranged

  343. the situation for someone to come and help me. So

  344. I asked the doctor. How come the doctor cannot see

  345. with an X rayed at my knees like that? He

  346. shook his head. So until today, I'm also shaking my head.

  347. So I'm waiting to see that doctor again. I got

  348. a question to ask. So anyway, Jesus was called the word.

  349. The word made flesh where everything else fails. Go back

  350. to the words. So you are having trouble, So things

  351. are not working right, father, I don't understand. Hey, how

  352. many of your students here? Any students don't be shy. You're

  353. either student or you're not. Okay two two students, Let

  354. me tell you. When you struggle in your work, lay

  355. hands on your books and say, Father, in the name

  356. of Jesus, helped me study. Because what subject is that?

  357. The Lord did not invent every subject you will ever learn?

  358. Who invented it? God? What are you studying? Business? You

  359. know who was the one who thought business? God? You look,

  360. he said, you know what, if you trust me, you

  361. will never run out his business? Is you trust me?

  362. You never run out? He told that we do you

  363. just do what I tell you to do. Do? And

  364. you know what the jazz kept feeling with oil? What

  365. is that? That is income? Business? You're doing? I G

  366. S R. Learning everything? Hey, God, book of numbers? You

  367. know accountant? God healed, he's a doctor. He taught them

  368. how to build it? Ample architect? Want to go on?

  369. Can go on? By a one? You lay hands on.

  370. That's what I used to do. I lay hands on

  371. my book and I say, in the name of Jesus,

  372. open up to me, give me understanding. In the name

  373. of Jesus. I was the head prefect of my school

  374. in Singapore, the first Malaysian to be a head prefect.

  375. I think in the whole of Singapore until then, I

  376. don't know whether now and the only Malaysian to have

  377. let the Singapore in the Singapore Pledge. I said, but

  378. I'm not Singaporean, and he said, no, no, no, you

  379. do it better than anybody else. I can still recite

  380. it until now. And until that time, my teachers are

  381. very angry that I became the head prefect. So I asked,

  382. so whender my teachers said, why are you upset with me?

  383. She looked at me and says, you have the potential

  384. to be top student. Don't you know that every head

  385. prefect in this school has failed. I said, don't worry,

  386. I will be the first past and past I did,

  387. and after that, every head prefect after me started doing well.

  388. Name of Jesus, even in my studies. In the Name

  389. of Jesus. Two parts of being there are two parts

  390. of being faithful to the word. The two parts, Okay,

  391. we want to go through the two parts. Number one

  392. is be hearers of the word. Be hearers of the word. Hey.

  393. Don't ever tell someone you only listen. You're good for nothing.

  394. You don't do Hey, It's all right. Let them listen

  395. to the word first? Why? Because scripture says be here.

  396. You know, you need to hear the word. You need

  397. to hear the word. What happens when you hear the word,

  398. you get bathe hearing. Faith comes by hearing of the word.

  399. When it comes by hearing and hearing of the word.

  400. So before we can be doers of the word, we

  401. need to hear the word. You know a lot of

  402. times when you do your quiet time and you read

  403. the word, do not read it in your head alone?

  404. Read it aloud? Why do you read it aloud? Because

  405. faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of

  406. God when you read. How many senses are you using

  407. to bring the word into you? You are using sight,

  408. you are using speech, you are using hearing. And how

  409. many of you because the words are small, you put

  410. your finger there? Touch what's the fifth sense? Smell? Okay,

  411. some Bibles smell a lot, so you know better. You

  412. get the smell of the Bible and the smell of food. Okay, guys,

  413. I mean that's what I do. I would read the word.

  414. And how many of you know that when I read

  415. the words that Jesus has said, I always changed my tone.

  416. I have always a little bit of fun when I

  417. read the word. You know why, because when I got

  418. saved long ago, the Lord spoke to me. I went

  419. to a little church. The church was in the jungle,

  420. or rather in a in a palmer le state. It

  421. was a little church attended by poor people. And in

  422. the midst of this church there were lots of cows,

  423. so cow down everywhere. It wasn't a nice smell. Go

  424. to that church wasn't a nice smell. It was, you know,

  425. that smell permeated the place. But in that place where

  426. poor people were worshiping God, they were worshiping God in

  427. spirit and in truth. The worship here two hours. We

  428. cannot stand worship plus message. That was the first time

  429. I was attending a born against service. And the worship

  430. alone was two hours, you know how long the message

  431. was to ours And after that we had another worship

  432. you know how long another two hours. So the first

  433. born again service I ever attended was six hours. You know,

  434. I didn't feel it when I went in there. During

  435. the worship, it was like a gold pillar came down

  436. on me and I could look through and I see

  437. all of you as gold, but I can see you,

  438. and it was I was inside this column, and then

  439. the sound from the outside came low, and I heard

  440. the voice of God, and it said, Terrence, you're not

  441. a Christian except me. Now, without anybody knowing all, the

  442. call is not given yet you know, I gave my

  443. life to the Lord, and then this gold pillar went

  444. back up. That was how I got safe. So ever

  445. since then, I you know, when I read the word

  446. of God, and when I ever come to the parts

  447. of Jesus, I try and imitate the voice that I heard,

  448. because it sounds so much better than my own voice.

  449. It sounds so rich and so powerful. And when I

  450. hear it, I get so excited. I'll give you an example. Okay,

  451. Jesus answered and said, that's my voice. This voice did

  452. not come because of me, but for your sake. Now

  453. is the judgment of this world. Now the ruler of

  454. this world will be cast out, and if I am

  455. lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.

  456. I imagine power of God when I hear that voice,

  457. and it excites me because to me, that's what my

  458. my Jesus is. He's not some wimp, he's not a wimp.

  459. He's somebody powerful. So the thing is is before before

  460. we can be those of the world, we need to

  461. hear the word first. Being faithful means going to the

  462. world first and hearing what it says. Hey, guys, how

  463. many of you, in the moment something goes wrong, you

  464. run straight to somebody in there. Don't do that before

  465. you run to anybody. I'm not saying, don't go to

  466. your CPC. Go out to your CPC, run to your pastors.

  467. Can after you've run to God. You must go to

  468. God first. God uses pastors and and and and holy

  469. people to help you. But if you don't give the

  470. law order chance first, your eyes on the wrong place.

  471. Guys always have this habit of speaking to God first.

  472. You know. I always talk to the Lord. I go

  473. to Buffays, you know, say Lord, what should I eat it?

  474. So I am I'm walking past the Buffy line and

  475. lots eat And then I said this one don't touch.

  476. Then everybody else I know at the table will come

  477. and see, Hey, you gotta try this. You know it's

  478. so good, you gotta eat, you gonna eat? No, No,

  479. it's okay, no, thank you. I refuse to eat next day.

  480. I'm the only one that's okay. Every one of them sick.

  481. Why all it that one? What's the difference? You see?

  482. Because I have this habit to talk to God about

  483. mundane things, he makes mundane things come alive. Is that fun?

  484. That's sleeping such a yeah? You know. So now at

  485. least my wife when we go to Buffy Lain what

  486. I don't touch, she won't touch. She learned already the

  487. spirit of the Lord will be speaking to you. I

  488. remember once we went to we went to Bia. Okay

  489. any Indonesians? Yeah, no, okay, because I'm not knocking anybody, okay.

  490. So we went to say and so they say, oh, come, come,

  491. let's go. Inside of my spirit was jumping up and down. Don't, don't, don't, don't.

  492. I kept trying to dissuade them. I said, no, no, no,

  493. let's not do that. We can just go to one

  494. of these these No, no, no, I want to try Nassia.

  495. We go to the Nassi Pad, spent it jumping up

  496. and down. Okay, So we went because I went for

  497. a wedding. Okay. So the wedding was in the night.

  498. Went for a family. Wait, family member got married and

  499. sorrow by us. So we went to night. So we

  500. went there in the night. This is the afternoon lunchtime.

  501. They all want to go and eat uh na saipar down.

  502. So we went to the shop. What a guy come,

  503. put this, put that, put this, put this, you like,

  504. you like, and you're talking over the food. And then

  505. he takes it, puts it away and puts the one

  506. on the dirty table of black cloth he cleaned. And

  507. he takes that plate, puts it in another plate and

  508. goes puts it back inside there and bring some other plates.

  509. Don't know how many times he's taking that plate out

  510. and put it back. What did I eat? I did

  511. not eat. I did not eat. No, no, you're not hungry. No, no,

  512. I'm not hungry. It's okay, sorry, fine, I don't eat.

  513. So I didn't need So in the evening we went

  514. for the Receptenna dinner reception. I'm seated at the table,

  515. one by one. Everybody's disappearing, all having explosions, all having

  516. bad explosions. I am okay. So I am telling you.

  517. Listen to what God has to tell you, all right,

  518. And where does it come? The word says, talk to

  519. the Lord, discuss with him, share with him, don't ever

  520. tire of the word, don't ever tire of hearing it

  521. or preaching it. Why because the more you talk about

  522. the word, who is doing the hearing, you are doing

  523. the hearing. Always remember this, A God's word is powerful.

  524. In Hebrews four to twelve, it says this, for the

  525. Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than

  526. any to it sort piercing even to the division of

  527. the soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow. It

  528. is the discerner of thoughts and intents of heart, of

  529. the heart, guys, it is something that really speaks to you.

  530. It discerns, you know, when you have the Word of

  531. God in your heart. But Scripture says the word of

  532. God is the discerner of spirit and truth. You know,

  533. it discerns. How do you build discernment? You know what

  534. is discernment. Discernment is that voice in the spirit that

  535. speaks to you right from wrong, to do or not

  536. to do. I went to China. In China, I went

  537. to study to look into opening some schools in China.

  538. All right, so I am meeting these Chinese businessmen for

  539. the first time. Do I speak Mandrin? No? So I

  540. went with a friend who speaks Mandrin. So I spoke

  541. to the friend, and we went for this dinner. And

  542. at this dinner, this guy is chit chatting, chit chatting, chatting.

  543. But while they were talking, the Spirit of the Lord

  544. was speaking in my heart. So I whispered to my friend.

  545. I said, the guy who's talking got no authority to

  546. do anything. You See the guy who's quiet on the left,

  547. he is the decision maker. He's the one who is

  548. listening to everything. See this other guy, he's trying to

  549. figure out how he can cheat and take everything from us.

  550. The Spirit of the Lord ministered that to me, and

  551. after the conversation, he said, you're absolutely right. The guy

  552. who was doing all the walk the talking was just

  553. a worker. The guy who is quiet is the is

  554. the son of the tycoon, and the other guy is

  555. his right hand man. I said, I'm not touching this

  556. deal with a ten football the Lord has. So the

  557. words were nice, the business looked okay, But the Lord

  558. had already told me don't touch these people. So how

  559. often do we make mistakes like that because we don't

  560. build up a capacity to hear. When you listen to

  561. the word, the capacity of your discernment will improve, and

  562. when the Holy Spirit speaks to you you can pick

  563. out certain things. Then after that, So the first part

  564. is be here and the second part is be doers

  565. of the word. Guys, how many of you played pickleball?

  566. Nobody here? One? Okay, Just by talking about pickleball, do

  567. you get good at it? No? Just because you talk

  568. pickleball you think you will improve. You have to get

  569. on the court and practice play. I was the tennis

  570. coach of my school because I had entered competitions and

  571. stuff like that. Why I didn't get anywhere and tennis

  572. because I'm shot. If you're told you can get somewhere live,

  573. you're short forgetting. You pray just to enjoy. But I'll

  574. tell you this, you don't get good by talking. So

  575. all during the term when I'm playing and talking and

  576. training my school team, my standard of tennis is going downhill.

  577. So I look forward to coming back during the holidays,

  578. getting in touch with my tennis playing friends, play with them,

  579. get all my skills back. Then when I go back

  580. to Singapore, the skills all day again. You see, we're

  581. not just to hear something, we are also to do it.

  582. This is what word faithful also looks like we're talking

  583. about one of the course all right. What is the

  584. call word? Faithful? God's word is a mirror that helps

  585. us see what we need to see. It helps us

  586. see our true selves. You want to know what you are?

  587. Look at the Word, and the Word acts like a

  588. mirror to Hey, look, it's all right being not good

  589. as long as you are yourself before the Lord, because

  590. you give me an opportunity to change you. Do you

  591. think they all started out good? Look at Peter. Peter

  592. did a lot of things. Yes, I had a lot

  593. of miracles happen in his life. But he was so flawed,

  594. right or not. He's just like you and me. We

  595. are flawed, we're not perfect. But the Word of God

  596. changed him. You know how You know that the Holy

  597. Spirit changed him. You look at scripture and you find

  598. that throughout the Gospel they had none of the disciples

  599. spoke the word of God. Check and see did any

  600. one of them voice out anything from the Word of

  601. God the moment they were baptized by the Holy Spirit.

  602. You read in the book or X the words of God,

  603. the Word the Scripture were just flowing out of the mouse. Hey,

  604. the Lord just spoke to me something. I think I

  605. got to write a song about it. Okay. So, as

  606. I was preparing for the men, he said, isn't it stranger?

  607. He's always telling his children to remember, remember, remember, But

  608. you know what he tells himself forget. He tells himself

  609. to forget our sins. He tells us to remember what

  610. he's done for us, because, trust me, if God remembers

  611. our sins, we're in trouble. Every time we ask him

  612. to forgive us. You know what he does. He removes

  613. the sin. As far as the east is from the west.

  614. He forgets our sins. That's what scripture tells us. So

  615. isn't it very odd? God tells us to remember why

  616. he tells himself to forget? Worthy of a song? Right?

  617. I wrote another song. It's called I Am whom I am,

  618. says I am God. I am whom I am, says

  619. I am. You'll understand it with the second life. I

  620. will be who I am, says I will be. So

  621. it's a funny song. Hopefully get published. So be In

  622. James one two twenty five, it says, but be doers

  623. of the word and not hear us, only deceiving yourselves. Right,

  624. be those of the word not hear us or need

  625. deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hero of the

  626. word and not a doer, he is like a man

  627. observing his natural face in the mirror. So you're hearing, hearing,

  628. and hearing. Faith comes by hearing. But eventually it's got

  629. a work too doing, because if it if it just

  630. remains as hearing, then you're like forgetting your face. Because

  631. the word of God is a mirror by which you

  632. see what you are and how you need to be.

  633. For he observes themselves goes away and immediately forgets what

  634. kind of man he was. You see, we are doing

  635. what only God should be doing. If there's anyone who

  636. should do the forgetting, it's God. We are the ones

  637. to do the remembering. But he who looks into a

  638. perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and it's

  639. not forget, not a forgetful here, but a duel of

  640. the work, this is the one who will be blessed

  641. by what he does. So we know them, We know

  642. they are faithful when we see them doing. How do

  643. you know faithfulness? Pastor cannon and past the center of

  644. course bringing greetings? Do you know that I've and I've

  645. told past the days I've had an a chance to

  646. observe you quietly while you're not knowing that I've been

  647. observing you, and I say, you know what I found out?

  648. I found out then you are the same person. What

  649. I see when you're with me is the same person

  650. I see when you're alone. There is no two past

  651. the cannons. There's only one man, and he's the same.

  652. So it's not difficult to understand because who is he

  653. following Jesus? And and and what did what? What does

  654. Jesus say? I'm the same yesterday, today and forever last,

  655. But not Lisa. The word anchors us in a changing world.

  656. This world is crazy. The world has determined that the

  657. Word of God is a hateful speech? Are you aware

  658. of that? The King of England last week was declared

  659. to be the leader of all faith in England. What

  660. a slap on the face of the Church of England.

  661. Because until that point of time he was the leader

  662. of the Church of England. So he has put Christianity

  663. on the same level as everybody else. Is it no

  664. wonder that England is a country that's going down, down

  665. and down. It's a failing country. In case you don't know,

  666. he's failing miserably reject Jesus. Of course you're going to fail.

  667. Did you know that if you were to speak, Oh no,

  668. if you're even quiet, they take you to jail for

  669. praying to Jesus. Why hate speech in your head? England?

  670. You know? Did you know that they've actually they've taken

  671. someone to Coote for praying silently in his head. It's

  672. now gone for it's now at a case of appeal.

  673. He was already found guilty. Can you beat that that?

  674. If I were to say Jesus loves you, they can

  675. send me to jail. Did you know that? You know why?

  676. Because it's considered hate speech. Then you get some joker

  677. who's says this. Huh. I'm gonna sue anybody who calls

  678. me a he or him when I want to be

  679. called they them. So I'm thinking myself, why are Christians

  680. so silent about it? Why don't we sue him for

  681. making me called him? Day and them so before they

  682. sw I sue him simply because why should I be

  683. forced to speak incorrect English? H This is nothing to

  684. do with what you are, what you're You're forcing me

  685. to speak incorrect English. You're a guy. You want me

  686. to call you a herb. Sorry, not going to be

  687. that way. Does God love them? Absolutely? Let me tell you.

  688. Take for example, the people in Thailand, the ones who

  689. are you know, transgender. You mean to say God doesn't

  690. love them? Do you know what kind of life did

  691. they live? It's not easy, and I can sense God's

  692. compassion for them. He loves them, but you see, they

  693. don't know a better way. Thank God. The Church of

  694. God is rising to speak to them. But don't for

  695. a minute thing God hates them. You know, God loves them,

  696. He loves them, but that's it. You see, the world changes.

  697. Twenty years ago, you'll never hear of that, but now

  698. it is commonplace, all right, God's word. They're always complaining

  699. about God's word. Oh it's too old, it's not relevant,

  700. it's outdated. It's too fat, it's too ugly, it's too skinny.

  701. This is what people complain about God's word. The world

  702. is constantly changing and attacking the word. First look at LGBT.

  703. Do you know who they are attacking. They're attacking God's word.

  704. I've just been watching some testimonies of children who were

  705. their sex was changed when they were ten years old.

  706. You know what they're doing. In the schools, they are

  707. constantly telling the children, oh, you should be a woman,

  708. Oh you should be a woman. And then they what

  709. they do is they take the child away. They talk

  710. and if the parents speak up, you know what they do,

  711. they take the child away from the parent. You mean

  712. to say, this is not happening in the world. Open

  713. your eyes. This is what's the law. In some countries,

  714. they take the child away, and for the woman they

  715. remove the woman's parts. When the child becomes sixteen, seventeen

  716. years old. You know what the child says, I regret

  717. doing this. How could they do this to me? I

  718. was only a child too late. The world is changing.

  719. This so even how they address God's word, it changes.

  720. But you got to know that the word of God

  721. does not change for you or for me. It is

  722. the same. It's shifting sends, but God's word is not

  723. shifting send. The world can have many opinions. We are

  724. only interested in whose opinion God's opinion. His opinion is

  725. the one that matters. You want to be saying, keep

  726. to God's word. Don't be like the world. The world

  727. has lost its way. And in case you don't know,

  728. this is truly scripture coming to pass, prophecies coming to pass.

  729. How the world is today professing themselves to be wise,

  730. They are fools. They have given up the glory of

  731. God for what to worship themselves. In the last days,

  732. there will be many smart people, but God is not fooled.

  733. Let's not be one of those smart people who think

  734. we are higher than God. In one Corinthians one twenty five,

  735. it says this because the foolishness of God is wiser

  736. than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. Hey,

  737. who are we to ever say God does not know

  738. what he is doing? Because even at God's most foolish,

  739. if that were possible, he is still far, far, far

  740. better than most intelligent human being. In other words, God

  741. is number one, and we are I don't know were

  742. we just we're there, and we are to look to

  743. number one for all the answers. God's word is the

  744. only one that will stand. That's what scripture means. Heaven

  745. and earth will pass away, but my word will not,

  746. because the word of God is everything he is and

  747. everything he needs to be. And that's it. God is

  748. not like us shifting sand. He's firm. How would you

  749. like it? How would you like I want to go

  750. to kl CC and klccs every time changing its place.

  751. Your ways also no work. He's here today, tomorrow it's

  752. somewhere else. But you're so happy that he elsey is.

  753. His day is fixed. You follow ways, you will go there?

  754. Why not? How many of you likes a shifting goal posts?

  755. If the goal post will to shiver, all of you

  756. will give up watching football. When the guy's about to

  757. score here, the two fellows come, they take, they run

  758. and put the goal somewhere else. How to play like that?

  759. There must be some rules right or on. You don't

  760. want things that shift, You want things that are firmed.

  761. That's what the word of God is. God will keep

  762. to his word. And God's word is always what his

  763. promises are, yes and amen. He will never forsake his word.

  764. So that's good because then when you study God's word

  765. and what is he telling you, He's not going to

  766. forget it. Let's be as faithful to doing the word

  767. as we are, also to be faithful hearing it as well,

  768. Lord said A Lord said, be a hearer, be a doer. Okay,

  769. and just know God loves you. He's so wonderful. They

  770. have God who's so firm, so firm in our life

  771. that we don't have to worry about anything. And with that,

  772. that's my message for today, word faithful. If we want

  773. to see our lives change for His glory, let's recognize

  774. the faithfulness of trusting and following his word and we

  775. see our lives changer. Know what Scripture says, from glory

  776. to glory. He's not glory to mess. It's not glory

  777. to mess. As long as we are following the word,

  778. it's from glory to glory. So it doesn't matter what

  779. level of life you're in. If you are in the pits,

  780. guess what one day you'll be in the mountain. If

  781. you are on the mountain, guess what one day you'll

  782. be in the sky. One day in the sky, guess

  783. what one day you'll be exploring out of space. Glory

  784. too glory.

  785. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
