  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day. Today's

  3. topic on prayer is pretty important, right. How many of

  4. you or even every Christian will agree that prayer is important,

  5. regardless of whichever level you're at, We all understand this.

  6. And if you would ask you, do you believe pray

  7. is important? I believe almost everybody would say yes, prayer

  8. is indeed important. If I would ask you, do you

  9. believe God answers prayer? I think most people will say

  10. yes as well. Hands up to that. But if I

  11. ask you how many of you truly are prayer powered?

  12. Maybe not all hands will be raised? Okay, And maybe

  13. some people were looking down the floor and like, okay,

  14. hope we don't look at me. I don't have a

  15. eye contact kind of thing. But that's the thing, right,

  16. That's the main interesting here. Believing in something or believing

  17. in prayer is one aspect, but living a prayer powered

  18. life is a different thing altogether. Okay, two different things

  19. all together. I'll start off this question over here. Is

  20. there a difference between a church that prays and a

  21. church that is prayer powered? Okay? Food for thought? Okay,

  22. and I believe even in your book you have some

  23. excerpts up the top of there you can read through it.

  24. But before I carry on, let me just start with

  25. a quick question. How many of you charge it? Charge

  26. your phones every day, every night? Right? You put it

  27. on charge? Right? I don't. I'm one of those that

  28. I don't charge until I gotta forget. Okay, the different

  29. thing altogether. But I would say most people would do that.

  30. Right now, imagine this, if you have the latest, fastest,

  31. bestest iPhone, you know, Android phone, et cetera. Are incredible camera,

  32. incredible processor, fantastic battery, life, et cetera, et cetera. Okay,

  33. but if you do not charge it, some may ask

  34. you what do you do with it? Do you just

  35. admire it or admire its potential? And that you think

  36. that it's a bit ridiculous right to have such a

  37. powerful tool in your hands. But if it's not charged,

  38. it's basically not very powerful. Not the maximum potential is

  39. not really it remains unused. It's what I'm trying to

  40. say here. You catch you trying to say, and you

  41. think that's ridiculous, right, you spend so much money, so

  42. much investment of your own resources, but without power, all

  43. the potential of that particular quote unquote gadget remains unused.

  44. And I can suggest to you that many Christians sometimes

  45. admire the power prayer similarly without actually plugging into it

  46. and actually using it. That's what we're talking about, right, Yeah,

  47. we talk about prayer, we read books about prayer, we

  48. attend conferences, uh you know, about prayer. We agree that

  49. prayer is important, but we don't actually live connected in prayer.

  50. And you must understand this prayer is also the source

  51. of power. Similarly, like you're you know, the the gadget

  52. that you have, If you're not plugged in, whatever it

  53. may be, it's not fully maximized. So I want to

  54. hopefully by the end of the day remind us that

  55. we need to be prayer powered, because otherwise it's just

  56. like the photo I have over here is just disconnected, right,

  57. and there's no potential in it. So that's why the

  58. core value today isn't simply called prayer, but call prayer powered. Okay,

  59. every okay, so far right, there is a difference, right,

  60. there's a difference. So the big idea is what I

  61. have on the screen over there, prayer isn't something that

  62. we do before. Me. Of course, we have prayer time

  63. at ceogies like today, we started off by having prayer

  64. ministry as well. But prayer is what powers the entire ministry.

  65. A lot of difference there. Again, isn't what we do before.

  66. It's not an activity, but it's actually what powers the

  67. entire ministry. Okay, So essentially for us, it's not just

  68. part of our Christian life. It's the source of power,

  69. all right. And that's really important because you understand that perspective, right,

  70. you do things a little bit differently, right, and you

  71. just like how I said earlier, you would definitely have

  72. it plugged in because you know that without it being

  73. plugged in, you're only using or rather you know we're

  74. using any potential. All right, Hopefully the analogy helps a

  75. little bit. All right, Now, let's turn to the scripture.

  76. We have X two forty two up on the screen.

  77. There's a whole lot over there, but let me just

  78. focus on a few things. Okay, The first part forty

  79. two it is says they devoted themselves. Key thing to

  80. focus on is devotion. Now, I think I spoke a

  81. little while ago about being devoted to something during your anniversary. Right.

  82. Remember when someone is devoted to something, all everything, all

  83. focus is on it. And these people are devoted devoted

  84. to what apostles teaching, to fellowship, to breaking a bread

  85. and to prayer. Okay, now notice something prayer isn't just

  86. randomly inserted into their Just let me just quickly say,

  87. it is not the lasting on the checklist as well.

  88. Some people think because it's located at the very end,

  89. then therefore it's the least important. No, no, no, no it's not.

  90. It's teaching, fellowship, food very important for us Malaysians. But

  91. if there's time prayer, is that how it is supposed

  92. to be? No, right, all is important. Now why is

  93. this important? Because as you see here is woven into

  94. the early churches history. It's not just an activity. It's

  95. an atmosphere. Just not what we're saying about prayer changing

  96. the atmosphere, right, This is essentially it's not just a

  97. one time event. Sometimes we look at prayer as a

  98. one time event, prayer service or my scheduled time as

  99. an event as well. But no, it's actually culture. It's

  100. actually what we do. It's actually a lifestyle. Now, before

  101. you think that, oh this is the instructions. But you

  102. remember in X chapter one, right, what happened X chapter one,

  103. If you turned back one entire chapter before, what were

  104. they doing to people? They were waiting, right, they were seeking?

  105. What else were they doing? They were also praying, praying

  106. for what recovered it. It's a very first topic, praying

  107. for the spirit to be spirit filled. Right. So next light,

  108. sorry an X one prayer before the Pentecost, there was

  109. prayer before the Holy Spirit came. There was prayer right

  110. before Peter even preached what happened? They were also so

  111. prayer right before three thousand were saved. What was there?

  112. Prayer all right? Before any miracles that you know and

  113. recognize happen, there is prayer. So instead of thinking of

  114. it as me the last is actually the very first,

  115. but we start off and also we finish off with prayer,

  116. if that makes any sense. Even before the very church,

  117. first church began, prayer was there. Again, it's not the last.

  118. Prayer came first. Everything else followed, and then we seal

  119. it all with prayer. And that leads me to my

  120. very first point. Okay, very short message today. Okay. The

  121. first point is prayer is God's gift for us Okay,

  122. if you have your I know it's a little bit

  123. different from what I what is in here? I think

  124. here it says a sorry, let me just come to

  125. the right page. I lost my page. Okay. The gift

  126. of prayer right in here? Write your notes, okay. But

  127. I just got to add on to that. Prayer is

  128. God's gift to us, Okay. And what do I mean

  129. by that? It is not to burden us. What is

  130. a gift? You don't give somebody something to burden the person. Right,

  131. But sometimes we look at prayers. Oh, you know, here's

  132. another thing I gotta do. And you know what, growing up,

  133. I was just like that. It felt like prayer was

  134. homework for me. Right, read your Bible, prayer every day,

  135. go to church, repeat and rinse. So prayer was came

  136. to a point that it became like a chore, homework,

  137. Like I said, right, anybody felt like it's just just me?

  138. All right? We do feel but it's a gift. How

  139. can a gift be Oh? Here we go again, pray again? Right?

  140. So it's almost like telling God, why are you giving

  141. me another religious duty? Right? And this is being very

  142. honest here, right, But that's how scripture actually presents it.

  143. It presents it as a gift. Right, it's an invitation.

  144. It's God's gift to you. What is God's saying? You

  145. don't have to face this alone. It is something that

  146. you could do, and I hope you do it well. Right,

  147. it's not something you have to do. But sometimes I

  148. think over the cost of time, we forget and then

  149. we change emphasis or we lose the the you know,

  150. we lose the origin story of prayer, and then we

  151. take it as Okay, this is a religious duty or

  152. regious item. You've got to check off that list. Let's

  153. read Philippines for six to seven. Right, it says here

  154. be anxious, sorry, be anxious for nothing. Sorry, do not

  155. be anxious about anything. But in every situation, again, in

  156. every situation, by prayer. So you see here, what is

  157. every situation in the English language? Is everything? La? Right?

  158. Our English is like everything lah? Okay, every time, every situation,

  159. every things big or small. You you bring it to prayer.

  160. And notice Paul in here didn't didn't make it too complicated,

  161. is it didn't? He didn't even say don't worry? Of course,

  162. worry is something you know in built into us. Right

  163. by says do not be anxious for anything, because when

  164. you do, you bring it to prayer. Also, they say, good,

  165. all the best to you. All right, hopefully you succeed. Right,

  166. you go figure it out. He didn't say that, What

  167. did he say? Bring everything to prayer? Everything, small things,

  168. big things, family things, uh, children, marriage, what else? Career, health,

  169. et cetera. Packing, right, students, exams. By the way you're

  170. parking here is fantastic. Can fight parking on anyway? Last

  171. time a bit more difficult. You know, even your dreams,

  172. You know, your dreams for your future, everything, your business

  173. is everything in prayer. Now, one thing I have to

  174. say is that when we have this, like I said,

  175. it's a gift, right, because why does God give you

  176. this gift? He actually wants you to have this relationship

  177. with him. Right. It's not a performance. Right again, it's

  178. not by pastor Gloria praise more and therefore she's performing

  179. better than all of us kind of thing. It's not

  180. about frequency, it's not about how long, it's not about

  181. how the words that she uses or the words that

  182. we use, et cetera. Is No, it's about relationship. It's

  183. a gift. Everybody has a gift. Right, So there's something

  184. that we need to understand. Now. Let me just share

  185. with you maybe as quick simple analogy as a father.

  186. I have father, two boys. You know, my boys, they

  187. are teenagers. Know. They don't often schedule appointments with me,

  188. all right, Some other people do, right, they schedule, they

  189. check whether you're free or not, et cetera. They will

  190. just come to me, or they willn't send me a

  191. Google calendar invite. Okay, can we meet? Are you free

  192. that daddy? Are you free next Tuesday at seven pm? No?

  193. They don't, right. They just come to me, even when

  194. I'm busy working, even when I'm tired. Sometimes even tell

  195. me something completely random and throw me off my thoughts,

  196. et cetera. But that's what they do right now. They

  197. will say things like, Ohdaddy, look what I built, Look

  198. what I found, Look what I discovered, Look what happened today?

  199. Can I ask you something? You know? That's again? Do

  200. I get interrupted? Yes? I do? I do get interrupted.

  201. Do I secretly actually want them to come to me

  202. even though they interrupt me? Absolutely? Yes? Right? Right? Why?

  203. Because they are my kids, my sons, right, that's relationship

  204. and that's what God wants. It's not that ah, yeah,

  205. he doesn't. He must understand it's all relational. Right. So

  206. imagine one day, right, my boys don't come to me.

  207. I'll be absolutely sad. Not because they don't come to me,

  208. because not because I'm angry or because they hate me

  209. or whatever. But the simple thought is that if they

  210. don't come to me anymore in future, it's maybe because

  211. they do not need me anymore, or they say, ah,

  212. Daddy not relevant anymore. That will hurt me more than

  213. interruptions itself. Even at the time I would say the

  214. interest get to say, yeah, so this is where we

  215. need to put a perspective into things. You know, Church,

  216. our heavenly Father never gets tired of his children, you know,

  217. really coming to him. It isn't about twisting God's arm.

  218. Sometimes we think that prayers about that. You know, we

  219. come and negotiate, we you know, try to get a

  220. contract done. Oh, it's just walking into God's presence. That's it.

  221. Relational okay, uh, And that's really as simple as That's

  222. why it's a gift. Right now. Let me also share

  223. you some of you may know that I have started

  224. a little bit of a healthier lifestyle. I started running,

  225. uh intensely this year. Okay, uh so I came in

  226. button now since I'm very proud of anyway, then then

  227. it is besides the point and and and the why

  228. I share this is because this morning there's actually a

  229. run in but dryer, and I can see some people

  230. are not here because of that. Uh uh And there's

  231. a bout of people from even my church. Uh I

  232. surf in the one thirty subdy service. So I don't

  233. no excuse. Okay, you get to come unless your leg

  234. is broken anyway. Jokes aside, jokes aside. What I've learned

  235. is that a long run, or let's just use the

  236. word race, isn't one on the day itself, the miss.

  237. It's not something that you only do like let's say

  238. this morning as an example, a right, it is actually

  239. one or achieve with many months of preparation. Okay, of

  240. course you can go in there. I've got some of

  241. our jokers. I always say, you're going there. They even

  242. do anything. Then you expect to runch and one kilometers

  243. half marathon, that's quite a fabit. And then they're like,

  244. I hope to finish in four hours. I mean that's

  245. the cutoff timeline. Right. But if you're doing that, you're

  246. just leaving things by chance. Right. How often I run,

  247. they say a round eighteen kilometers, not for half maraton,

  248. but I just do it because it's a progressive thing.

  249. One thing that I say I've learned is that it

  250. is every training matters, right. Every rests or recovery also matter.

  251. Also to share, I was injured about a month ago.

  252. I tore three muscles. Now I'm back at running again.

  253. But let me just tell you this, everything from the

  254. slow runs, fast runs, recovery. Every morning getting up, I

  255. get a five in money to run. By the way

  256. I ran this morning before I came anyway. But again,

  257. it's not something that you do. You don't get fit overnight.

  258. It's what I'm trying to say here. It's built over

  259. daily habits. And what I'm trying to illustrate here is

  260. that prayer is the same. Right. Sometimes we go to

  261. prayer as though it's like we're running that race, that marathon.

  262. We go help me, you know, bring me out this right,

  263. And we only pray when life becomes race day, like

  264. a marathon. Now what I mean by dad, oh, there's

  265. a medical diagnosis that's not very good. Race day, I

  266. go to the Lord, or there's a job loss, I

  267. go to the Lord. Relationship crisis, what else, financial pressure,

  268. et cetera. You only run or rather pray. Suddenly, Lord,

  269. there's nothing, there's nothing I can do right now, Lord

  270. help me. Now that's again I'll go. It's very merciful

  271. he will talk. Nothing wrong with crying out to the

  272. Lord in these moments, don't get me wrong, but imagine

  273. how much stronger you can be. It is really continuously built,

  274. as what I said earlier, on a relationship that you

  275. have every single day for your life, and even when

  276. it comes to race day, you can still do it right.

  277. Like I said, I came to a point before I

  278. got injured. I did seventy kilometers a week, right as

  279. every day at five in the morning. Why do I

  280. do it because I'm crazy? It's because I want to

  281. do it before my kids wake up. So again it's

  282. alone time. Now. These are the times where there is

  283. nobody looking at you, and prayers to be like that

  284. as well. Nobody sees you. You just have to have

  285. that discipline. So prayer. My main point is, prayer isn't

  286. emergency power, right, Prayer is every day power. But you

  287. need to tap into it on an everyday basis. All right,

  288. So once again, if you didn't catch the first point,

  289. prayer is God's gift. It's also God's invitational invitation to

  290. be a relate, to to go into a relationship, all right, Now,

  291. then this raises a question here. If prayer is such

  292. a gift, why do so many Christians actually struggle to pray?

  293. I've got that slide up there, right. Firstly, I don't

  294. think it's because people think or believe that pray doesn't work.

  295. Let's let's let's get that myth over there, right. I

  296. think it's because sometimes we misunderstand or misunderstood what prayer

  297. really is. Okay, Again, Prayer isn't informing God. He already

  298. knows anyway. So it's not like sometimes you haven't met

  299. your your spouse or you have children or whatever, or

  300. this is why I've done No, no, no, no, he doesn't

  301. need that. He knows already, So it's not about counting back.

  302. Prayer isn't impressing God, right, He's not grading the Christianese

  303. language that you use or the vocabulary that you use. No,

  304. prayer is meant to be simple. So if you ever

  305. felt that that it's a limiting factor. Don't worry about it, right,

  306. can speak in whatever language you're comfortable with, broken, et cetera.

  307. It's fine. The other thing I want to say is

  308. that Christian isn't earning God's love in that perspective. Your

  309. identity in Christ is already secured anyway, and where is

  310. it secured? What He's done in across is already done, right,

  311. it's not earning God's love more so, Again, it's not

  312. about frequency, it's not about what you say, what you pray.

  313. But really, all we're saying when we come to prayer

  314. is this simple thing, God Father, I need you. That's it.

  315. I need you. And every time we pray, we're declaring, Lord,

  316. I want to build relationship you, I need you. And

  317. that's essentially that. Okay, So I like you to come

  318. to this understanding that prayer is actually a language of dependence. Right.

  319. It's not a prayer weakness. You don't come to law

  320. because Lord, I'm so needy. No, I just want to

  321. build reship. I am dependent on you, right, And that

  322. brings me to the close off point numbout one. And

  323. when when I am preparing this message right again, sometimes,

  324. as I said earlier, the question isn't do I believe

  325. in prayer? The question is the real question is rather

  326. what does my prayer life or your prayer life or

  327. our prayer life reveal about what we or I actually

  328. depend on on the Lord? Do I depend on the

  329. lot fully? Do I trust a lot fully? That's the

  330. main thing about prayer, because it reveals, right, And this

  331. moves on to the second point and after that any

  332. really very fast? All right, no, but but let me

  333. just spend a bit more time here because it's very important. Now.

  334. The second point is about the integrity of prayer. It's

  335. possible that sometimes we say things like that, oh I

  336. prayed about it, right, I prayed about it. Now think

  337. about this. If you didn't catch any of this whatever

  338. Shaw today, this is the most important part, right, the

  339. second the second point, the heart of the entire message

  340. today is really to understand that. Firstly, prayer is not, uh,

  341. it's not designed to make us feel guilty, all right,

  342. it's not. It's it's a way to help expose something

  343. that many of us don't realize. And that's why when

  344. you pray more, you you you you then depend on

  345. Him more. And it's in this way I wanted to

  346. focus a bit more, right, So can I just be

  347. very honest with you this phrase, let's put it up

  348. the phase up on screen. I prayed about it is

  349. very common ever noticed when someone comes to you and

  350. talks to you. Oh, you know I I I I

  351. feel led to change jobs. I prayed about it. Right,

  352. I'm dating this person. I prayed about it. I'm moving,

  353. I'm relocating. God has caught me to this far far

  354. away land, et cetera. I prayed about it. I'm making

  355. this huge financial decision, this business decision. I've also prayed

  356. about it. Now, Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying

  357. that these guys scenarios people do not pray about it.

  358. But I'm just asking what does this actually mean when

  359. you say I prayed about it, he thought about he

  360. taught true that sometimes so easier to say I prayed

  361. about it, right, And sometimes when somebody says I prayed

  362. about it, it may just simply mean that I've only

  363. mentioned to God once, or I thought about it with

  364. God about making decision once, I've asked God. Sometimes even

  365. I've asked God to bless the decision that already made,

  366. and therefore I prayed about it with silent there right

  367. right right can be also I prayed about it. Sometimes

  368. you don't ask further what do you mean by that? Right?

  369. Just asking God for his blessing right now? But what

  370. does the Bible actually talks about in prayer? And this

  371. is where, like I said, the point of about the

  372. integrity of prayer is very important because there is integrity. Now,

  373. let me give you a simple illustration. Imagine, Uh, I'm married,

  374. my wife is Jessica. Let's say if one day I say,

  375. just don't worry, I spend a lot of quality time

  376. with you this week, okay, And she's like, really when when, oh,

  377. you know the time when I said beside you, I

  378. was maybe I was reading some articles on my phone,

  379. messages on my phone, or watching Netflix. I don't, by

  380. the way, but let's say i'matching Netflix, et cetera. By

  381. spend quality time with you, I maybe even uh not

  382. a few times when you when you're saying some things

  383. all right, or or I even true in a few yeah,

  384. I agree. Now would she be impressed? Probably not? You

  385. know that she can probably tell. Right, that's what it

  386. is right presence itself. It's not the same with connect

  387. right being there itself is not connection. You can sit

  388. beside somebody and never really be with them. Sometimes tell

  389. us my kids, you know, it doesn't mean that you're

  390. in the same house. We are connecting, right, And sometimes

  391. you often wonder why do we do that with God? Right?

  392. We almost like I said, tick a box, Oh Lord,

  393. I prayed, we say these words, we spend five minutes,

  394. so I gave you five minutes. You know how busy

  395. my morning is five minutes? But have we really met him?

  396. Connecting connected with him? Is the question here? All right?

  397. One thing that really challenged me a lot of these

  398. core values. Of course, it's drawn off from a Book

  399. of Acts, chapter two by passing Kennif also, you know,

  400. shared a little bit and about about some of these topics,

  401. and that's why this this material is also there. One

  402. of the things that really hit me is that he

  403. shared about how someone before making a life or major decision,

  404. can come to him and and and and and and

  405. uh and say these things. Let me give an example, right,

  406. he said this, Uh, this particular person came to him

  407. and say, oh, I feel led to change church. Okay, Now,

  408. changing church itself is is a is a major decision, right?

  409. Why because it doesn't just involve the person. It involves

  410. the spouse, the family, uh, even the future of the

  411. entire family, right, the children, et cetera. But the person

  412. came to past and said, Pastor, I prayed about it, right,

  413. Very common commonly say I prayed about it. And then

  414. sometimes you say, when you say you pray about it,

  415. what can we say? Right? But when Pastor ken felt

  416. led to ask this question, when did you start praying

  417. about it? And then the person actually answered very uh

  418. honestly five days ago. Now, again this is not to

  419. not the person, but just an example of sometimes we

  420. just do this a little more haphazardly. How much prayer

  421. reallyeds to go into something like this, a major change

  422. like this? And again this can be translated to anything

  423. else you big move, big change, et cetera. But I

  424. love this question because it's not trying to condemn the person,

  425. but the question that is like a reverse who know

  426. kind of a thing? Sa reverse? Who know? A reverse card?

  427. Is it? How does the weight of the decision of

  428. the of the change match the weight of the prayer

  429. that has been invested into the decision. Okay, think about it.

  430. All of us know some decisions warrants or needs a

  431. little bit more investment in the area of prayer. Right.

  432. Some decisions deserve not just hours or minutes. They deserve

  433. maybe weeks of prayer, seeking God right, sometimes even fasting,

  434. waiting and listening, inviting vice council as well. You know,

  435. you've got different ones, leaders, et cetera. Support you because

  436. these decisions, some of these decisions will affect you and

  437. your family and the rest of whoever's involved in that

  438. decision for the next ten years. Maybe it's not just

  439. a five minute impact, right, So don't give it a

  440. five minute prayer. And this is a reminder to all

  441. of us to be very careful to say I prayed

  442. about it, right, because prayer is not something that we

  443. tag on to our decisions just because of formality. We say, okay,

  444. I've done it checked. Because prayer, as we discussed earlier,

  445. has actually a real power. It should be evident in

  446. the way we see God. Over time, the fruits of

  447. your decision will reveal whether you really truly prayed about

  448. it or not. That's why I'm always very careful not

  449. to say I prayed about it, right, even though I have.

  450. But I just don't want to say it right, because

  451. it's actually very scary. Now, let me just give you

  452. another illustration. Some of you may know I'm an engineer.

  453. My service plan knows that because that's the way I'm white,

  454. I think. Okay, so let me confess a confession here.

  455. As an engineer, I like solving problems. That's just the

  456. way I'm wired. You See, when I see a problem,

  457. I analyze, I calculate, I optimize, I find a solution.

  458. Right now, that is a gift from God I believe

  459. to some extent, right, But here's why I discovered. Sometimes

  460. I bring that mindset into my spiritual life as well.

  461. Let me just very honest. Yeah, hm, I wide that way.

  462. I operate that way. My family sees it that way,

  463. my chispa sees it that way. Even I work, I

  464. operate like that. But sometimes if I'm not careful, I

  465. bring that mindset to my spiritual life. Now what I

  466. mean by that? Instead of praying, I plan. Instead of praying,

  467. I optimize. Instead of praying, I calculate quote unquote risk.

  468. Right Now, have you ever done that before? Or it's

  469. just me all right, you gotta do it a bit more.

  470. But before you even prayed about things, right, sometimes we

  471. or Mila A Mila, I open up a spreadsheet of

  472. my finances, you know, or I google a solution. Nowadays,

  473. the other tools out there before I pray. Right before

  474. I prayed, I've already answered or sent messages out to

  475. the five friends about you know something, before I prayed.

  476. I haven't had three backup plans to day. Now is

  477. this all wrong? Probably not? But somewhere along Lisa, I'm

  478. not careful, right, God maybe and this is just me

  479. imagining God maybe just looking at me and say, hey, bro,

  480. you've spoken to everybody else except for me even as

  481. you were coming to the decision. Now, that really just

  482. hit me hard because I'm like, oh wow, you know now,

  483. I'm not against planning by the way, I love it,

  484. and the Bible also encourages wisdom. Right, but planning should

  485. follow prayers. I'm trying to say here, not replace it. Right,

  486. So on more time, planning or whatever you do should

  487. follow prayer, not replace prayer. Okay. Scriptures tells us this, right,

  488. James uh one five to six. I don't know where

  489. where I had it at, but if any of you

  490. lacks wisdom, let him ask go right. Notice God never

  491. criticizes us for needing wisdom. Right, He only tells us

  492. where to find it. Right, So if you look at

  493. the scripture, it tells you where to find it us, right,

  494. But can I also say something? There is also some

  495. dangers or one of the biggest danger is when we

  496. become prayer, prayer, prayerless all right, or it became it

  497. has become eventually just a religious prayer. Prayer that sounds

  498. you and I notice, prayer that sounds spiritual but changes nothing. Right.

  499. We've heard some of these prayers before, or prayers they

  500. are there to make us feel better, but actually we

  501. don't fee better after that, all right, or prayer that

  502. is there because of formality, prayed about it. Right. Let

  503. me give you an example. You know how sometimes you

  504. say grace before a meal. Now it becomes sometimes a point,

  505. right that it's just yeah, routine, that's right, without ever

  506. thinking or really thanking God for that, you know, for

  507. providing that meal. That's why I'm meant by It becomes formality.

  508. Sometimes I catch myself as well. I end a conversation

  509. that I'll pray for you, then forgetting two minutes later

  510. what the problem is, and I forget to pray for

  511. that person. Right, So prayer needs to go beyond just

  512. a Christian expression. It has to come to a point

  513. of really, that's what we say in point one, a

  514. general relationship we've God, right, So you need to be

  515. very careful with this, and that is where the dangerous

  516. because if you do not remember what is it all about,

  517. we sometimes can go into this autopilot mode. Right now,

  518. I'll give you an example. How many of you own

  519. a house here or bought a house, purchase a property

  520. or Nick Sen's halfway there all right? Now, a lot

  521. of you know, young people, young looking adults, young couples,

  522. et cetera. They when they buy their first home, you know,

  523. this is one of the biggest investments in their life.

  524. Why because you're talking about hundreds and hundreds of thousands

  525. or first car whatever, okay, just first houses the year.

  526. You're talking about a lot of years of repayment. How

  527. many years these days home loans? Nick No, thirty five okay,

  528. thirty five years of commitment, right, thirty five years of commitment. Now,

  529. this affects a few things, you know, the effects of course,

  530. your monthly expenditure or planning if you have kids. It

  531. also affects where your kids grow up in, whether it's

  532. near school, et cetera. It affects maybe how your family

  533. serves some people that, oh, you know, I live so

  534. far away, so therefore I cannot serve feature us anymore,

  535. et cetera. Just being very honest. Heah, all right. It

  536. also affects how they would spend their next stage of

  537. their life, something as simple as just the very first home.

  538. Now imagine the process, nik you readbot houses there or okay,

  539. so you would have spent maybe if you've done some

  540. renovation to the house, you may spend maybe eighteen hours

  541. or twenty hours looking at the floor plans, designing or

  542. thinking okay, okay, the architect, where do I do this?

  543. Whether I do that, or maybe even look at some

  544. resources YouTube, you know, reading what should I do for

  545. my first home? How should equipped me? Twenty hours, et cetera. Okay.

  546. It may even spend weekends, three weekends at the showroom

  547. talking to the different ones, right, or even having four

  548. or five or six meetings with the bank. The banks

  549. right to get your loan have to at least two

  550. meetings if you're a lawyer, because you have to sign

  551. that document. Right. But all this time being spent again,

  552. not Nick, all of us in general, Okay, all this

  553. time spent, but how many how much time have you

  554. spent in prayer? I have this particular slightly just to

  555. show perspective. Okay, the big stuff that we normally do

  556. prayer is a small portion. Sometimes we say three minutes

  557. of prayer. Okay, give you one hour prayer. But do

  558. you spend similar time eighteen hours, twenty hours planning looking

  559. at your floor plan? Probably not so again, just to compare. Usually, yeah,

  560. we do more of the like the planning side the

  561. than the actual prayers, which one Actually it's out of proportion,

  562. That's what I'm trying to say here. And sometimes if

  563. you look at your calendar as well, you'll see a

  564. lot more of these kind of things more than these

  565. kind of things. Right. So again it's just putting things perspective,

  566. not knocking. I'm also one of them included in that perspective.

  567. So even as I was looking at this, Yeah, it's

  568. just a reminder about the balance. We should really be

  569. doing this more, but sometimes we are doing other things more,

  570. all right, So Pastor, can I say this next light

  571. the day you stop praying, you're saying, I've got this

  572. that really stuck with me. You know, sometimes you're like that, right,

  573. I don't need this any I got this covered a lot.

  574. It's okay. I got discovered. Maybe I pray for all

  575. the other things, things I cannot resolve, but some of

  576. the small stuff. God, this lot. I don't want to

  577. disturb you already have like a million and one prayers

  578. to answer. Ready, I don't want to, but no, you

  579. must understand it's relational. Remember the analogy I gave you,

  580. my kids coming to me. No matter how busy I am,

  581. I want to still spend time with them. And that's

  582. exactly because this can be frightening. Just as I used

  583. an energy earlier. You may say one day without realizing it,

  584. it's re suttle, God, I don't need you anymore. Or

  585. nobody does this. But Christians can wake up one day

  586. and say, Lord, I want to be independent from you,

  587. and it's re suttle. It starts off by, yeah, I

  588. don't need you today, tomorrow, then for weeks and months

  589. and years, but I just want to be independent. I

  590. don't need you anymore. I can. I've got this right,

  591. And even if you don't say it, you slowly live

  592. it out right, every day we are quietly trusting ourselves

  593. more than putting our trust in the Lord. And that's

  594. a scary part. Very quiet here. So some honest questions

  595. here you ask yourself this, right, When was the last

  596. time that you've changed an important plan because of prayer?

  597. Sometimes you're there and I always all done up, radio

  598. or plant you want you win. I get frustrated too.

  599. But when was the last time God interrupted your agenda?

  600. When was the last time that you actually sense God

  601. saying I'm not ready to release to this particular adventure

  602. or this adventure yet hang on, wait for a while.

  603. Or when was the last time that you prayed long

  604. and hard for your heart to change? Right? Because most

  605. time I will say, we will always pray God, change

  606. my situation, help me. But somewhere along the lines, I

  607. think we need to transition to allowing God to actually

  608. change us rather than change the situation. Don't get me wrong,

  609. you like to change the situation as well. But it's

  610. more than that, all right, praise not uh not Gods.

  611. We are getting information from you. We will establish that.

  612. But it's actually a way to really, you know, establish

  613. a dependence on the Lord. It's relational, right, and so

  614. a sign of surrender to what we sang Earlione to

  615. allow God's will to be done? Right, And what does

  616. it mean surrender? And here's my last point. Right, there's

  617. a few more things, but let's move on to the

  618. last point. What does it say here? Sorry, let me

  619. just remind myself. Prayer is being powered power, prayer powered, okay,

  620. being prayer power. But the short answer is this prayer

  621. is a lifestyle that uh that that powers us forward.

  622. So if prayer isn't something that we do before we

  623. make disions, only, if prayer is uh actually the way

  624. we express our dependence on the Lord, then prayer. Let

  625. me just say this, prayer cannot remain as an occasional,

  626. one time event. That's what I mean by lifestyle. Remember

  627. I shed about the whole running marathon analogy, same thing.

  628. We cannot just make it a one time event. Those

  629. are important, but it's not the way, not the way.

  630. It must become a way of life. And that is

  631. what prayer power people are like. They don't just pray

  632. when life falls apart, when things do not make sense,

  633. but they build their entire lives right continually, depending on God.

  634. And that's exactly how Jesus taught us as well. In

  635. Matthew sixty six, he says, here when you pray, not

  636. if you pray, but when, right, So prayer in itself,

  637. as Jesus did, he did present it as an optional

  638. spiritual discipline. Right, it is expected, it is I like

  639. to use the word normal, just like breeding. Do you

  640. plan your breeding? Probably not eating, sleeping or do I

  641. like to sleep more these days? Anyway, But it's meant

  642. to be a part of life. Okay. So that's why

  643. the core values, uh, you know, the the what we

  644. are talking about here focuses on Jesus said, when we pray,

  645. and not if we pray, because prayer is not optional.

  646. In fact, when you pray, it is an act of obedience.

  647. And then the way I guess it's in the way

  648. how God intended that we live. Okay, So I mentioned

  649. by breeding in my dream. Somebody comes up to you.

  650. I decided that I only need to breathe on Sundays.

  651. You'll probably laugh, right, I only need to brief on Sundays, right,

  652. because breeding isn't an event, right, as I said, it's life.

  653. Nobody said I brief this morning. It is so I

  654. don't have to brief till Tuesday. Right, because why breeding

  655. is continuous, it is actually what keeps us alive. Right. Similarly,

  656. prayer is the breeding of our soul, our spiritual life.

  657. That is the breeding. When prayer stops, it's similar like

  658. what I just that's ridiculous as what I just said earlier.

  659. So this Sunday we pray it, receive prayer. Even I've

  660. been prayed upon, then I'm said for the rest of

  661. the week. I hold my breath for the rest of

  662. the week. And sometimes you wonder why something inside of

  663. verse is slowly suffocating? Because why even suffocation, even suffocating, right,

  664. it's not immediate, and it takes some time. You slowly

  665. lose life, lose touch. You become more and more anxious,

  666. You become more and more impatient, You become more and

  667. more self reliant. Right, you become easily offended, you become

  668. fearful of different things. Why because essentially, just like how

  669. I just says, stop reading, like you just disconnect yourself

  670. with the one who is actually the giver of life.

  671. Sofully you understood that simple analogy. But some people are

  672. doing that. They just wait too next Sunday, wait to

  673. next Sunday. It comes Friday, so nearly there, nearly there

  674. right now. Pastor can also share this right you know

  675. how we've got a lot of plants around the Klang

  676. Valley and also around the world. Some people ask him

  677. this question, what make made X church ex church? The

  678. DNA behind it? Uh And sometimes people may look at, oh,

  679. you know, the demographics, the campuses, the different locations, maybe

  680. the leadership, the system, the teachings, the creativeness of how

  681. churches run. But Pastor Kenneth answered a bit differently. He said,

  682. one simple thing, He said, prayer was what led the

  683. church to be where it is. So every plan has

  684. been prayed for. Every nation that we've gone to has

  685. been prayed for. Every leader has been prayed for as well.

  686. Every breakthrough that we've experienced as a church collectively has

  687. been prayed for. And he says something profound. I'm just

  688. gonna say it out forbid him because I don't to

  689. misquote him. He said, we don't just believe in the

  690. power of prayer, pass the Canava. Prayer is the power

  691. that powers us forward. With doubt it, we will not

  692. go forward. Every ex Church plan is there because everyone

  693. has been prayed for. So you see at the start,

  694. I mean pasta Gloria's shared a few weeks ago, go

  695. about the birth of extraras. Right, do you know how

  696. much prayer has gone into that before even the very

  697. first meeting? Prayer? Right, that's not just our history, you know,

  698. that must become our future, how it propels u or

  699. drives us forward. So prayer is not just you know,

  700. something that some people coined two thousand years ago in

  701. the very first church. No, it's something that keeps us going. Right. Now,

  702. imagine if we look at churches. Sometimes we look at

  703. different churches. Oh, this church has got this lights, fantastic worship,

  704. amazing speakers, programs, et cetera, or good branding, good social media. Now,

  705. all those things are not wrong as well. But perhaps

  706. sometimes a smaller church when we travel. We visited a

  707. very small Brethren church. Let's put this way. I traveled

  708. a few weeks ago. When I went there, right, my

  709. family went there. We became almost like majority. Now in

  710. the outside may see, okay, this church is maybe less impressive,

  711. that's men's eyes are. But I believe that every single

  712. ministry in that particular church is definitely soaked in prayer

  713. because we really felt it. Small, but powerful. Now, if

  714. a church is like this, every leader is seeking God

  715. is praying, every decision is surrendered to him. If you

  716. ask me, I RelA to church B than church A right,

  717. because why it determines where the church would move in

  718. the future, not just in the the temporaria in that sense.

  719. So which church if you have the two type of churches,

  720. which church you think God and trust His power on?

  721. Definitely Church be right Because throughout scripture, God reminds us

  722. again over and over again, is never impressed with human strength.

  723. He's always drawn to humility. Right, to be more specific,

  724. humble dependence on the Lord. Not because it's needy, but

  725. it's just a correct posture, right, and that's where it's

  726. built with a life of prayer. Okay, Zacharia for six

  727. reminds us not by mine nor by power, but by

  728. my spirit. Again, it doesn't say no planning, no excellence,

  729. and no preparation, doesn't say all that we still have

  730. to do all that planning, excellence and preparation and all

  731. that kind of thing. But you must always remember and

  732. prayer remind you that the source is always God. We

  733. must always continually even as we are planning, even as

  734. you're striving for excellence. Even as you're preparing to always

  735. continually return to the source. Otherwise you and I notice

  736. my head will be too big. It's or me where

  737. I am is because of myself. No, it's really the source.

  738. Back to my running story. Okay, as I said, I've

  739. been running for a while, nobody gets fit or runs

  740. their marathon or by the way, I just got some

  741. text elier by some of my guys are high survived

  742. blisters and all that, but I survived, and some of

  743. it is I really silly because it's just like small things, blisters,

  744. and it's because they're not very see, very very brave

  745. of them. You know, they've actually gone out there without

  746. even tracking one kilometer and they're running twenty one kilometers

  747. for the first time. Nobody's fit in that, in that

  748. in the short amount of time. But a person that

  749. quietly runs again and again and again and again when

  750. nobody's watching what happens You build become stronger. As I said,

  751. prayer works the same way as well. Sometimes we think

  752. I need one amazing prayer, I need one amazing race

  753. to get there, But no, it's daily dependence, daily reliance,

  754. daily discipline. Right, don't get me wrong. Spiritual mount the

  755. tops are fantastic experiences, but God's you know, building something

  756. we've got is actually much deeper than that one time high,

  757. that moment. Okay, it's a lifestyle. As I said, it's

  758. the quiet prayers before work, or the frustrating time when

  759. you have to go to the toilet and pray because

  760. I just had it. You're whispered, quiet prayers when you

  761. drive that is, or prayer even before a difficult situation

  762. or the difficult meeting. Recently, I had to talk to

  763. somebody about performance. I had to performance manage somebody out.

  764. That was easier than sorry. That part was hard, don't

  765. get me wrong, But prayer actually made it easier, not comfortable. Still,

  766. I don't I don't like to deal with sorry. I mean,

  767. it's get my words straight. I don't like to disappoint.

  768. I'm not good at people. Pleaser are previous way so

  769. I even the most difficult and honest things I find

  770. never have to say. But I remember getting my need

  771. to say, Lord, I can't do this. Can you just

  772. help me do this? So pray before you had to

  773. reply a message. Pray before making any decision small or big,

  774. right prayer should slowly become a riedom of life. That's

  775. what I'm trying to say here. All of us use

  776. ways right right? Sometimes I say his ways on the

  777. phone is higher than my ways, because usually they will

  778. tell me the right things. Now, imagine this. I live

  779. in Subang, Okay, I used to live in Ko. But

  780. when you want to navigate to Ko at each hour? Okay,

  781. ever done that before? Right? It's crazy? Right now? Do

  782. you just open ways once before you leave your house

  783. and then okay, got it covered, put it away, never

  784. look back. Now, why don't you do that? Because yeah,

  785. change will happen. Traffic changes, road closures happen, accidents may happen.

  786. Routes that didn't exist existed later on. So if anybody

  787. use ways, you'll see that. It's what's the word they

  788. are recalculating? Yeah, whatever, it progressively changes? Right now? If

  789. you live life thinking that, Okay, I got up again

  790. to the car, I checked it once. It's enough, ah,

  791. And then I think it'd be very surprised. That's what

  792. I'm trying to say. Prayer is a bit like that

  793. as well, you know, because why we recognize that life changes, right,

  794. Your journey changes, situation changes, people change as well. Sometimes

  795. other things will change, but you forget people. People is

  796. the biggest change. But true prayer, God keeps directing you

  797. turn by turn. Sometimes you say go, sometimes say wait,

  798. and we don't like to wait right, always wait the kid.

  799. Somebody says turn around, right, make a U turn all right.

  800. Sometimes God says not yet, not quite there yet, chill

  801. right or rerouting that's a better way, but we don't

  802. like that sometimes. But you only will receive these instructions

  803. one if you have a relationship with God and also

  804. your your app right. If you do, don't refuse to

  805. then then refuse to then then that's it. Again. Prayer

  806. isn't just asking for directions. I'm not simplifying it. But

  807. it remains connected to the one who actually knows the way.

  808. That's my main point. But if you're not connected, yeah,

  809. you will know what lies ahead of you. So can

  810. I encourage you? Yeah? Make it a lifestyle. Sometimes the

  811. very best or simple prayers are the best. Right it says, Lord,

  812. help me, I need you give me wisdom. I don't

  813. know where to thank you Lord, Yeah, coming thanksgiving as

  814. all right, I'm sorry. I trust you again, As I

  815. said earlier, it's not a measure of vocabulary. It's not

  816. a measure of uh, you know what you choose to

  817. say by sexually relational. It's all about region. Don't make

  818. it complicated. Right, he's not grading your your your prayer

  819. or you know he's praying okay, let me see better

  820. use the correct punctuation here, or they use the right words. No, no, no,

  821. he's not. He's just listening to his children. Right now.

  822. Here's the beautiful thing. When prayer becomes a lifestyle, the

  823. unexpected things will happen to your life. You will see

  824. that even the way you pray uh transitions to something

  825. else changes maybe at the very beginning when you when

  826. you do this, you keep asking, Lord, bless my plans. Right,

  827. over time you'll be asking or shifting and you be

  828. praying this, Lord, what are your plans? Trust me, you

  829. try it more. Over time, it will transition. Why, because

  830. prayer actually reshapes your heart. When the relationship is built,

  831. you begin wanting what God wants. First John five, he

  832. says there fourteen to fifteen. It says, if we ask

  833. anything according to his will, he hears us. Now, sometimes

  834. when we read this scripture, right, we think that if

  835. we pray hard enough, God would agree with me. Right,

  836. But prayer, let me just tell everybody, it isn't a

  837. platform to convince God to adopt my agenda or your agenda.

  838. Prayer is actually an opportunity to allow God to reshape us,

  839. as I said earlier. So that's why when we say

  840. prayer powered mindset reminds us that this is what it

  841. takes to keep us grounded, to keep us dependent on

  842. him and to align us with his will. Okay, even Jesus,

  843. it gets se many year right what he said. He

  844. didn't just pray once, He prayed three times, three times.

  845. And what was his final prayer? Not my will but

  846. yours be done. Now the prayer change God's father's the

  847. father God's will. No prayer actually strengthened the son Jesus

  848. to then walk in it. Sometimes that's what exactly prayer does.

  849. You know, God doesn't always just change the situation, although

  850. we pray for the situation to change, all the circumstances

  851. to change, but prayer itself definitely would change us. Just

  852. like how Jesus pray three times? Yeah, change you prepared

  853. him to strengthen him. So slow down, guys, slow down,

  854. care on praying. Prayer is not something you fit into

  855. your life. Prayer is something that you need to allow

  856. it to shape your life. Okay, don't just jam it in,

  857. all right? So as I close, imagine if every homes,

  858. if every dream team, every ministry, every leader, every family member,

  859. every young working about, every student, business owner, parents, every

  860. church plan coordinator, every decision, every God given dream, every

  861. challenge is continually covered with prayer in prayer, can you

  862. imagine what the church will look like? Not because you're

  863. the smartest, or the biggest, or the most talented or

  864. the most had the most resources. Why because we are saying, Lord,

  865. the greatest strength is not ourselves. Our greatest strength is

  866. actually our dependence on You. And that's what we call

  867. prayer powered. Not prayer, but prayer power. So as I close,

  868. I want to ask you one to find a question

  869. before I go all right? Do you believe in prayer? Amen? Yes?

  870. Do you believe in coming to prayer meetings? Yeah? Do

  871. we need to pray eloquently or use the right words?

  872. Not really just pray? Most important you could ask us

  873. to this question, is pray empowering your life? You might

  874. start up with the whole energy using the mobile phone.

  875. The most changai mangay mobile phone is actually not use

  876. even a fantastic ev car. If you don't plug it in,

  877. it's not gonna do much. Right, same here are we

  878. actually powering our life? Because you know what, everyone is

  879. powered by something. That's the other there's the other flip

  880. side of it, right, Some people are powered by ambition,

  881. maybe by achievement, by money, what else, by I don't know, security,

  882. by fear, you people's approve. I'm one of those people.

  883. Please are right, sometimes even by their own intelligence or

  884. experience or connections. But as followers of Jesus, we are

  885. men and designed to be powered by prayer, because prayer

  886. is another way of saying I cannot do life without you, Lord,

  887. won't you just step in? So even as we close today,

  888. I just like to remind us that we need to

  889. be dependent on the one true thing. We cannot be

  890. dependent on the world. Sometimes as a student, we say, oh,

  891. it's all dependent on my grades where I go next?

  892. True but half truth, okay, all your businesses, you know,

  893. and depending on the experiences that I've done in that

  894. particular trait, that particular dealing. Again, true but half truth

  895. as well, or even how we our kids. We can

  896. be equipping ourselves with all the resources, all the books,

  897. all the things that we can digest. But do you

  898. know that when you go to the Lord in prayer,

  899. that is a better resource, that's a better dependency or

  900. even ministry. Sometimes when we take up different things or

  901. I pray about it, I prepare myself, I go to

  902. Bible school, et cetera. No dependency on God that trumps preparation.

  903. Even so, even sometimes as when we prepare for to share,

  904. spend hours and hours preparing. But can I tell you

  905. this prayer is more important. So sometimes I tell myself

  906. I've got to shift from that early picture I showed you.

  907. I got to shift. I got to increase whatever was

  908. on the right right than once on the left. Because

  909. I can prepare all I can. But if I do

  910. not go into prayer, I'm not doing this in just

  911. because I'm doing it out of my own dependence, of

  912. my own ability. No, really is about God is not

  913. looking for more capable people. God's not looking for more

  914. people that are intelligent. But God is looking for dependent people.

  915. You look at Moses, Dude, the guy can't speak, but

  916. God enable He relied on God Paul, Even what do

  917. they say, when I'm weak, then I'm made strong. Weakness

  918. is never the problem, guys. It is the the shift

  919. to become independent, or the desire to become independent, detaching

  920. away from God is the problem. So this is where

  921. prayer grounds is. So can I make it practical for everybody?

  922. How do we become prayer powered? Maybe tomorrow morning you

  923. refrain from touching your phone when you get up, talk

  924. to God, right, don't check your WhatsApp? Not important on Instagram?

  925. Is okay? And Jennifer, I say it's okay. And by

  926. the way, I haven't I a bit detech Instagram. But anyway,

  927. I know people, some people are you know, check the emails, emails,

  928. et cetera. But won't you just spend a few minutes

  929. saying God, good morning, I need you today, speak to me.

  930. Maybe a way to work, you know, if you really

  931. can't spend the time before it's day at home prevarring

  932. the kids to go to school, et cetera. On the

  933. way to work, do that one thing I wanted to

  934. put out on the screen. Maybe never simply be a

  935. church that prays, but we always be a church that

  936. is prayer powered. A church that's prayer powered. I'm just

  937. gonna close with one more story. I like to tell stories,

  938. my wife says, I sometimes I get a bit too

  939. what stories always better? Now, I imagine two wood cutters. Okay,

  940. the first one starts swinging and cutting the tree. He's busy,

  941. he's sweating, he's working hard. But the second one pauses,

  942. and I'm cast sure you heard the story before he

  943. spends time sharpening his ex before he attacks it. What

  944. would the first man do? Ah, laughing at what are

  945. you doing? Wasting your time? I've already demolished or chopped

  946. down how many trees? But after an hour of sharpening,

  947. do you know that the sharper ex accomplishes far more

  948. than the one that's dull? Abraham Lincoln said this, So

  949. say give me six hours to chop down a tree.

  950. I will spend the first four hours shopping an X Why.

  951. I mean, of course, also, it's no it's exact words.

  952. It's probably a little bit. But the the principle is

  953. timeless because sometimes when we get our knees to pray,

  954. it almost seems as though we're not doing much, nothing

  955. is really moving. But do you know that pray also

  956. sharpens your your your your spiritual life, your soul. It

  957. aligns our heart before we do anything. It prepares us,

  958. gives us wisdom, It gives us peace peace that was

  959. a past or understanding, gives a strength we notice, courage

  960. and discernment as well. So I don't know what we're

  961. facing today, but I just want to appeal to you

  962. to really just uh you know, not just believe in prayer,

  963. but come to Him again. If you've lost that, today's

  964. the day tomorrow start afresh again. It's okay. Relationships are

  965. built not overnight. Takes time, but as long as you

  966. put priority in it, you will get there. Like I said, hey,

  967. I started running early this year. Now I'm running faster

  968. than some of the other guys. Right, I had to

  969. start somewhere, right. I didn't just do twenty one kill

  970. this overnight. I did two and two. A struggle to

  971. kill umbus was a struggle. But yeah, you can. We

  972. hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information

  973. on our church, please visit as church dot org. We

  975. this week is going to be a good week. I
