is a movement, a movement of a million small groups. A lot of

these terms you might not get if you're new. And we had our EX

Global Senior Passes Office retreat mission retreat. So mission retreat is where we meet

together. We it's like a halftime thing, you know, halftime. How

are we doing? How are we doing as a church? How healthy are

we? I don't know whether I have a chance to share everything you know

about PJ, but I want to let you know that X Chesch is very

healthy. Prease God. So as we were doing true the retreat, I

think Passer Kenneth shared our devotion and it's been very refreshing every time he shares

devotion. And he shared one devotion, uh something I'm going to share with

you this morning as well. I actually asked his past this is so good?

Can I share it with the pH because I believe that a lot of

people in the Phs be blessed, because I myself was blessed hearing this.

Can you please give me the permission to borrow your slights and to also you

know, pray and also you know, internalize this, you know before I

also share it with you. So I pray and I hope that you will

be blessed with this message. Of course, you know, original person that

believe that everyone here will be blessed if we can learn this today. Right,

Mercy and grace. These are three words. As a Christian you hear

quite often in the Bible. Constantly talk about it, you know, right,

mercy grace, right, mercy grace right? Um, and you know

we are all children of God. Here, amen are you? Guys?

O? Care? Hey? I one week never appeared and suddenly everybody like

no energy, d hello, good morning. Wow. The so Manian people

were less, but they were more. They were noisy and than this.

Don't grow all on me, guys, don't grow all on me. By

the way, the last I checked, Jesus is a life you know,

right, we're not in a funeral service. Okay, and I'm sorry,

maybe other preachers here don't expect response. By expect response God, this is

my church plan, right, So those that are quiet, don't don't let

So what is this whole thing about, right, mercy and grace.

Well, every time we experienced something in our life, that is a response.

Right. If you study psychology, they say they are two responses people

normally do fight or flight. And then now they are saying there are many,

many more other responses that we can actually choose from. Right. But

when you look at how the Lord expects or how the Lord wants us to

respond to him, right, mercy and grace are three different responses to life's

challenges. As God's child, you catch it right, and we need to

learn, Okay, the right timing because something is about timing, Because timing

to response, because when you want to respond in a certain way, you

have a certain expectation of what will happen. Correct, There is a certain

expectation when you are doing something. You know, his mother's day. I'm

sure my wife has expectation. Although you ask her, she say no expectation.

Okay, thank God, We're going to do something for her later,

you know, So when we do something or when something happens, there is

an expectation. So in regards to the Lord, we are all to his

children. Amen. For those who have accepted the Lord, there isn't certain

expectation. I don't think you have no expectation. No, you have some

form of expectation when you want, when you're believing for something right, and

then when you'll be leaving for something, what's that word? You expect God

to respond, you know. And of course we always say, oh you

know, the Lord will say yes, an amen and whatever else. Okay,

I hope I'm not too loud. I'm okay, okay, Right,

just want to be a bit careful with our kids. You're here, so

there is a time to exercise our right to engage God's mercy or to experience

his grace. So, as his children, there is a time to exercise

Do you know that we have rights? Exercise our right as children of God,

engage God's mercy or experiences grace. There's a time for all these things.

So let's talk about it. Right, What is right? Right equals

power. Okay, I'll go deeper into it. John one child says.

God to those who believe in His name. Right. So God has given

because sometimes I feel as believers, we need to know that we have the

right as children of God because we live like we got no right like that.

because they are my kids. So we ask children, do we know that

you have a right to certain things? Do you even know what your right

is? Do we even know? Do you know? How do you know?

Um? I'll give you this example, uh talking about right, sir,

So I went for honeymoon with my wife in Kota Kinabalu. Right,

we stayed in last time. Now this hotel Sutra Harbor, very happening hotel

and uh and uh we rode in because the owners of knows, you know,

our organization just to try that, say they can get the scount or

not, you know, and uh lor and behold okay, long story shot,

we had a testimony. Right instead of a discount, they bump us

It's a lounge that you can go and you can have tea there you

no, it comes with the room. You can have tea, you can

have drinks, you can enjoy and it's open from one time to one time.

And I'm like, I had I didn't experience it at all. I

had no idea. I'm like, oh, I regret that. I'm like,

why didn't I ask the hotel what are the other things I could benefit?

I was there for four days, three nights, and and I didn't

experience the lounge. I'm like, oh, man, nowadays, I asked

way smaller. It's like a little dot mastercy. Right, If you're faith

as a mastercy, you will say to this mountain, move from here to

Someone who has someone who knows the authority, will know how to say

When fathers in the room give an instruction, children, you need to obey

because there's authority there. When your school teacher in school gives an instruction,

you have to obey because there's authority there. When the police officer stop your

car, you have to obey because there's authority there, because it is right

to stop your car. How many of you will not stop your car police

ask you to stop your car. None of us here will do that because

you're get in bigger trouble. Are you understanding right so far? Are you

know, if you believe it, if you believe you can, you can.

If you believe you can't you can't. I would say, you say

you can you can You say you can't, you can't, because there's power

in what you say about yourself. It's there's power in your speech. You

know, the power of the tongue of death and life. Parents, there

is power in your words that you input in your children. Remember when you

were a kid, Remember what was said to you that you believe. And

it's not just about some Chinese thing or ah. You know, No,

there is power, you know. That's why when we do youth ministry and

we do minister to people, we always have to deal with the power of

the tongue. What are we saying to them? Do they believe? Do

they know they have worth? I'm not talking about don't scola, don't misconstrue

what I'm trying to say. Yes, sometimes or certain times when you're young,

you need discipline in your life. That's something we are realizing about the

generation today. Someone just needs to tell them, no, it's not okay.

Everybody's saying it's okay, guys. It is not okay to live like

that. Guys. It is not okay because there's a better way. And

I'm just saying Jesus way No, there's a better way. Just because the

adults around you are immature, you don't have to follow. We're stronger just

because the adults around you don't know what they're doing, the Bible teaches us.

Paul encouraged him, Mate, go one, do not despise your youth,

but be an example in what purity conduct? What's he trying? And

say to Timothy, who's a young man, don't let all these old chikusa

affect you. You be a better example power guys. Look ten nineteen says

power to speak into situations. We have power to speak into situations. You

to change things, to move things. That is why power. Prayer is

powerful. We have the right. That's why prayer is powerful because God gave

us the right. That's why prayer is powerful. And we've got to exercise

that power because if we don't exercise that power, after a while, we'll

lose it. We have to keep exercising that power. Don't sell your right

for temporary pleasures. Do you know that you can do that? You can

give up your rights. I know a lot of people. Wow, they

sound like knocking people their goals. These they've given up their rights to be

religions because they think that life is better on the other side. But then

they're still so passionate about our government. I'm like, you ready give up

your rights, but you care so much about us having it. Are so

so strong, right pastor, don't give up your right, guys, don't

give up your right. We've got a lot of good things. You know,

something you give it up. Don't give up your right and don't sell

it for temporary pleasures. You'll get one I mean by that or not doing

God's commandment. It is not easier following him. It's not easy. But

what jan we rea to have a Do you know that in the Bible someone

sold his birth right for soup because he was hungry. Yeah, it can

happen, so don't do it. Know who you are as God's children,

speak into the situation. Amen. Amen, you have that right. But

what happens where it doesn't work? Or pastor I really prayed he already faster?

then mercy comes in the picture. Mercy comes in the picture. Let's

will not allow you to be consumed? You know? The Bible promises us

broken but not destroyed. Do you know how significant that means? You'll still

experienced this in December. I had to rely on his mercies every morning.

Knew why? Why? Why is this sothing significant? His mercies are new

every morning, refreshed, restarted. He gives you fresh things, you know,

he gives you fresh ideas. Yesterday's testimonies yesterday tomorrow is different. But

we've got to draw from him. Why because he delights that we rely on

him, that we go to him every day. If you try to do

things the same way last time, it might not work because God wants you

to go to Him, not go to the method because it's that easy.

We always go to the method. But God wants you to go to Let's

try it again. God wants you to go to Guys. I'm trying my

best. I'm really trying my best. Please help me, amen, Please

are totally undeserving of his mercy. It is completely under his discretion. So

you might, you might mess up, you might go through a lot of

things, But do you know that the Lord is still merciful to you?

Have you been in a situation right that you know how? You've done everything

wrong now? But somehow God's will come true? For you. That's his

mercy. That's his mercy. Don't forget it. The other wonderful thing about

mercy is that is fully adequate, and you cannot repay him. Well,

the only way you can repay cost mercy is to show mercy to others.

Matthew eighteen talks about the servant who granted mercy, but he didn't grant mercy

to another servant. And what did he do? Well, he had what

me in December. I remember waking up. I mean, I can't go

My mom was overseas, not well. Don't know where they can fly or

not right. The bills are raking up every night. Two point five k

dring get two point five. It's stressful. How are we going to pay

for this? Right the day where they attempted to fly her back, the

night before we were at homes, I got a call for my brother.

They decided to do a COVID test and they found out she was positive.

Next day is supposed to hand over at eight am to fly her back.

I woke up at four am and I pleaded for God's mercy for one and

a half hours. I was prostrate. You know you read the scripture.

My wife old the discuss I wake up. They also sleeping. I wasn't

even kneeling. My face was on the floor. And for one a highs

just spring, Lord, have mercy, Lord, have mercy, Lord,

have mercy. Please bring me out of it. And what happened, well,

they rejected her flight. So when you're right, as a child of

God, you ask for something doesn't happen, and then you plead for God's

mercy and it doesn't happen. What's next. He's grace. You've got to

rely on his gracity, and grace is patience. Second Quarrinthians Child seven nine

says, my grace is sufficient for you. My strength is made perfect in

weakness. Therefore, most gladly I will read the balls in my infirmities,

that the power of Christ may rest upon me. I was discouraged. Man,

You believe the ly, believe you see hope at the end of the

rainbow. And then then the rebol just disappeared. You plead, you ask

God for mercy and there was a way out, and then nothing happened,

back to square one, no hope anymore. And then God's grace come.

Mercy is supposed to bring you out. Now, if I had God's mercy,

then I will have been solve ready, But I was stuck in the

the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear not able to see

true. You know, not from mercy brings us out of the situation.

But God's grace will help you go through it. No one, none of

us like it because we expect something to be fixed immediately. But God's grace

will bring us through it. Are you in that situation today? Let me

encourage you. God's grace with you, with you. You got to be

patient. Oh does I mean I cannot? No, I can please plead

for God's mercy. But if you don't get a quick fix, well not

quick. But if you're getting a fixed immediately, relying is grace because he

will bring us through the value of the shadow of death. We will walk

through it, not necessarily be delivered from it. Look twenty two forty two

will have you truth. I had to work through what happened with my mom,

and I can tell you that God's grace brought me tru it. He's

grace brought me and my family truth. All bills were paid. God's timing

my mom so happened that you know, sharing this and then his Mother's Day

is God's God's time is super fact. My mom had a chance to see

all of her kids before she went. Yes, the time I spent with

her was in a hospital, not fun at all, but all of us

had time. Even my wife had time. She was so good that she

actually stayed away my mom one night and spend time my mom. How easy

for us, but God's grace brought us through it, and we recognize God's

hand. You can never come to me and say, oh, it's never

coincidence. It is by God's grace that he took her on Christmas Eve.

It is by God's grace that I was able to come here on Sunday and

see worship him. It is by his grace that we will get true the

value of the short of death. And who do we look to? He

strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall not They

shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Wait

and trust. Isaiah twenty six three says, what you will keep him in

perfect peace. Whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you,

the Lord will give us perfect peace. My young people, are you going

If you're trusting yourself, or you'll trust your paper, you trust it,

then you ownly have enough sleep. But if you're trusting a lot, you

will have enough spleep, because he will give you perfect peace. Proverbs three

five or six says, trusting a lot with all your heart, and lean

not on your own understanding in all your ways, acknowledge him, and he

shall direct your path. Grace produces patience, and we've got to trust in

him. Amen. But you know life is not easy. We go through

life every day and I remember when I was hearing this message from past,

I'm like, wow, pass it is such a great, great word because

it gives us a framemat or what to do at the situation we are in.

It helps us to come to this place that we can journey with the

Lord. You know, in every problem that we face, right, God

wants to journey with you. You know, it's all unique, He's all

customized. Whatever that you are going through, its unique to you. He

wants to meet you, he wants to minister to you. He wants to

bring you through this journey so that you will be able to grow. Yes,

it's not easy. I know life is never easy. Well, just

because it's not easy, it doesn't have to be killed. Amen. Can

it be easy and peaceful? Canno? Sorry? Can it be hard and

peaceful, Kenno? Can it be challenging and then you have love and support?

Keno? Can Can you go through fire and still see? Hope?

Canno? We all want not to go through it, but we've got to

remember that the Lord loves us. Amen. I pray there whatever that we

call today, and I hope, I really hope that it will help you

in your journey in this life, because really the reality of life is we

all continue living after this right after we finished the worship, and after we

finish everything right, you have to go out there and face face whatever to

face. I hope that whatever you face, you will know what to do.

LA. Now you know how to respond as Scot's child, and you

know that no matter what happens or so even if you can't practice your right

you feel like mercy is not happening at least as grace. Amen. And

there's always a reason why the Lord brings us through things. That's always that.

That's something I've learned through my years of being a believer. It is

never a waste when we go through fire, never never, never never.

So I know sound VERSI are going through fire today. You might not have

all the answers, You might not understand why. By prayer that the Lord

will give you the grace to carry on, He will help you. Don't

struggle, cannot not. We're not the Lord. Trust in him. Don't

so fast, try and find your way, because when we find our way,

we might lead ourselves to destruction. I want to encourage us to follow

God's way He asked you go life. You go life. He asks you

go right, You're right. He asked you to stay in the fire.

You stay. You know because when you are able to follow and obey the

lot, you will be blessed. Amen. We hope you've been blessed by
