You're listening to a message to go from axt church. We hope this message
-
will light up your team. Mark Chapter five still start off in verse twenty
-
one. Okay some some of you may know this story, but let's just
-
read together. Okay. So the title of this story is a girl restored
-
to life and a woman healed. Okay. So now, when Jesus crossed
-
a twenty one. Now, when Jesus cross has crossed over by boat to
-
the other side, a great multitude gathered to him. He was by the
-
sea. Some also believe he's a late love, but it doesn't matter,
-
okay. And behold one of the rulers of the synagogue, Gyrus by name,
-
the pastor of that time, because he's part of the synagogue. And
-
when he saw him, he fell as at his feet. He begged earnestly,
-
saying, my little daughter lies at the point of death. Okay,
-
So just something the highlight of death. Not dead yet dying, Okay,
-
not dead yet Okay, present tense, Come lay your hands on her,
-
and she may be healed, and she will live. She will live.
-
So when Jesus went with him, a great multitude followed him and thronged him.
-
Okay. So this typical Jesus line, or he's a superstar rock star,
-
everybody would surround him and try to get his attention. Now, a
-
certain woman had a flow of blood or in other words, she was bleeding
-
okay for twelve years. That's a very long time to continuously bleed okay,
-
and has suffered many things from sorry, has suffered many things from many physicians.
-
She had spent all that she had and was no better, and rather
-
it grew worse. Okay. So this is a person who's been having this
-
problem for quite some time and also have seen medically, have seen a lot
-
of her physicians and tried to get it fixed. But she can't okay,
-
or she wasn't fixed for twelve years. When she had heard Jesus, she
-
came behind him in the crowd, touched his garment and for for she said,
-
if only I may touch his clothes, I shall be made well.
-
Okay, And immediately the fountain of her blood dried up, and she was
-
she felt in a body, and she was healed from the affliction. Someone
-
translation used the word suffering, and Jesus, immediately, knowing that the power
-
has gone out of him, turned around in the crowd and said, who
-
touched my clothes? Who touched me? Okay, everybody's touching him led anyway.
-
But but his disciples said, you see the multiples multitude rather trying you,
-
and you say, who touched me with puzzola? And he looked around
-
and said, this woman has done it. But the woman, fearing and
-
trembling, knowing that what has happened, came and fell down before him and
-
told him the whole truth. And he said to her daughter, your faith
-
has made you well. Go in peace, be healed of your affliction.
-
While he was speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogues house,
-
who said, your daughter is dead. So from the present tense, just
-
now when the daughter is dying. Now we fast forward after this whole encounter.
-
The daughter is alreadyd Why troubled the teacher any further? Okay, I
-
hope you can understand the scenario there as soon as you just heard. The
-
word has spoken. And in some versions they say, ignoring that that that
-
what is spoken. Now he said to the ruler of the synagogue, do
-
not be afraid, only believe. Don't be afraid, only belief. Oh,
-
that's like an ex chech plug over there helping people believe her anyway,
-
and we and he permitted no one to follow him except Peter James, John,
-
the brother of James. Then he came to the house of the ruler
-
of the synagogue, saw an uproar, and then he wept and wail.
-
So everybody was crying because of you know what happened. When he came in.
-
He said to them, why make this commotion and weep? The child
-
is not dead but sleeping. And they ridiculed him. But when he had
-
put them all outside, okay, he took the father and the mother of
-
the child and those who were with him, and said where the child was
-
lying. Then he took the child by hand and said, Talita to me,
-
okay, who translated to little girl. I say to you, arise,
-
star wars movement. Okay, if you get it, you get it.
-
Don't get it in your mind. Immediately the girl arose and walked for
-
twelve sorry, for she was twelve years of age. And when they overcome
-
with great amazement, and they will come greatly siss. Sorry. But he
-
commanded them strictly that no one should know it, and said something should be
-
given to her to eat or in other words, just don't stand there,
-
go and get her a big mac because she's really hungry because she's been sleeping
-
overy some time. All right, So hopefully you get the context of this.
-
I know it's a lot of scripture and its need to run through everything
-
and then hopefully we'll come back to the parts of the scripture. But for
-
those of you who have come to the Sunday service and afternoon service, I
-
always struggle with putting up titles, and I'm hopeless at putting up titles.
-
So this is the best I can come up with. In terms of title,
-
I'd say shoot, go away, get out, or whatever, because
-
that is the title that I've chosen. And you'll make sense after I've explained
-
a little bit, and I hope you can bear with me. But you
-
know, the every time you read this story, the first thing that comes
-
to mind is the story of the faith, you know, and it's always
-
a story about, you know, a girl rising up. That's the testimony,
-
that's the miracle that has happened there. But sometimes we forget that there's
-
other aspects of it. And hopefully today, after today's message, you will
-
get some of the contexts about what needs to be driven out what needs to
-
be shoot and what needs to be cast out? Okay, because I'm going
-
to focus here on versus forty, which says again they really could him.
-
I've highlighted the thing up on the screen. But when he had put them
-
all outside, then only something happened after that, so he actually had to
-
stop what he was doing, take them all outside. All those who are
-
these people who are all they were talking about? What do you think?
-
Who are the all the people that laughed at them? The people that ridicule
-
him, okay, the people that think that a it's not going to work
-
because why they see the death, they see the end game. They don't
-
see any hope in it anymore. And now again, these can be your
-
environment. It could be the people that surround you, or it could even
-
be yourself. Hopefully not. But you know, these are people that doubt,
-
people that have unbelieved, people that may I wouldn't even used to faithless.
-
But you know how some people they always argument to argue certain things.
-
They may come up come up more as a less positive person in the conversation
-
every time glass half full kind of a person. You know, people like
-
that, And these are the same people talking about all right, and I
-
hope that we do not have many at least believers they are in this context.
-
Okay, because why Jesus as sit in this in this text that if
-
there are people like that, first thing he has to do is has to
-
physically removed you or remove people, or fix the environment first before that miracle
-
can happen. Okay, So this is the short version of the entire message.
-
Really, Okay, if you want to go those of you who who
-
love watching YouTube, you watch the first few minutes and you get the context.
-
You just fast on the end, you get the thing, and then
-
you're done. Right, you can go home earlier. Okay, but that's
-
the whole thing. But I think I think the focus is really uh,
-
you know, you got to put it all outside. You got to not
-
let it affect you, because why if you let it affect you, or
-
if you let some of these things affect you, you don't cast it out,
-
the miracle will not happen. Okay, all right, the miracle will
-
not happen. Now, I'm not going to mess with you or you know,
-
you're you're you're understanding your theology and all that kind of thing. Uh,
-
you know, we did sing earlier, what would be sing, you
-
know your goodness is running after me, right, and you know you're a
-
good, good God. And our God is good all the time, but
-
sometimes he needed to do the things that he needed to. Like in this
-
story, he needed to play the the bouncer, the gangster. Right,
-
so he is good, but sometimes he needed to be that person as well
-
to make things work. Okay, So don't always think that our God is
-
a teddy bear kind of a god. You know, it's all about good
-
things, but yeah, when he needs to, he needs to do what
-
it is because the power of this story really is not just on the miracle
-
itself, but really about what needs to happen to allow that miracle to happen.
-
Okay, so everybody say, shoe go away, go away, all
-
right, that's the quick summary synopsis. But when you read this story,
-
the first thing that you think about really is like, what is the context
-
of these two characters that we've just studied, What is the similarities? Why
-
are you even put together right in the same few lines. Have you even
-
thought about that? It's actually very different, right the story, but somehow
-
they're same same. That makes melain to you why they're same? Same.
-
Okay, Now we are all like this. We're all connected somewhat, but
-
sometimes we do not realize what is the connection. You know, we have
-
different challenges whatever these challenges, but we have different goals in life, we
-
have different pathways in life. But somehow there is some connection or we're all
-
intertwined together. There's our lives, but we may not fully see it.
-
And this story is like this in the same context or in the same period
-
and era. The two things happen together, but they do not see the
-
similarity right and they just start. You know, whatever I'm going through is
-
more urgent, and whatever you're going through is probably i don't know, less
-
urgent or whatever. But aren't we all like that. You know, you
-
do not understand what's why I'm going through right now. And the point I'm
-
trying to make here is not to belittle the things that we are all going
-
through, but rather sometimes you also have to be sensitive that there is an
-
opportunity for us to to to to even support a fellow brother and sister.
-
But sometimes if you're too caught up with your own things that you're going through,
-
you may actually miss what God has placed in front of you. And
-
the miracle will again will not even happened. Okay, so just something to
-
to to quickly say. And I believe in the text to they Mark began
-
talking like this because there's actually something very connected. And uh, if you,
-
if you, if you look at it on the surface of us,
-
it's not quite connected, but they are actually connected. Now, Mark begins
-
by talking about this this character here, right, Gyrus, okay, the
-
synagogue leader, and he starts talking about then later move on to the woman
-
and the issue of the blood okay, and then the two are connected,
-
but somehow not. Now let's look at the differences first. Okay. Firstly,
-
Gyrus is a man. The woman is not man lah okay, the
-
opposite gender, right, And in the text you know of his name,
-
but you do not know the day's name. Every wonder why he's given a
-
name, you know, but no, it wasn't given. Right. One
-
is the ruler in the Jewish snagogue, and we probably think that he's probably
-
a bit more well to do, a bit affluent, you know. And
-
the other lady, you know, even if she had money, she's probably
-
broke by now because you know, she spent a lot of her resources to
-
try to get the conditions fixed. Okay, so very very different. Okay,
-
and uh, you know some some may think that they are complete opposite
-
BIBLESO gone. You know, to look at some some styis papers written about
-
the similarities. I put up one of these things here. Probably can't see
-
it, but and somebody actually wrote a paper, a technical paper to try
-
to look at the similarities, and they actually found lot of similarities. You
-
want to look it up if you're interested, go and do it your own
-
research. But hey, let's talk about the similarities. They're deeply connected,
-
but not quite on the surface. But and how are they connected? Now?
-
Life, as we call it, sometimes what I say, levels the
-
playing field a little bit. Right. Do you remember the time that eventual
-
COVID or maybe still going through COVID now, but remember the time everybody felt
-
the same same, right? Who I relate to you? I understand what
-
you're going through, because why we're all put in that similar scenario. Okay,
-
And this is what I'm trying to say. Life has a way of
-
leveling up the playing field a little bit. Things are different. One is
-
a bit richer and one is a bit poorer, just like COVID. Right
-
the time when you cannot can COVID, but you are. The laws of
-
the LEMP allows or prevents you do certain things. And it goes through every
-
aspects or every level of people. Okay, regardless of whether you are of
-
this status or this status, you're subjected to the same rules. Okay.
-
And money can't fix it, your friends can't fix it. Whatever it is,
-
it's the same thing I would there even say, right, sometimes even
-
people the unbelievers, would feel that they need God at certain times. And
-
this is what I mean by sometimes God allows things to happen the way it
-
happened to level the playing field a little bit and to make sure that people
-
are a little bit more connected in that sense. Okay, And let's look
-
at this story. Okay, nothing common like I said, but they're in
-
the same position. Okay, they are both desperate. Commonality, they're both
-
desperate. And in the Bible, right, they say that they're to push
-
people out of the way, regardless of whether it was Gyrus or whether it
-
was the woman, they have to make way, push out a way to
-
reach the same person. Okay, ever thought about that? And are we
-
n feel like that? You know, when we are not desperate? It's
-
okay, I don't need to pray for I don't need to prayer. I
-
didn't lift my hand so high, huh during worship and all that. I
-
mean again, not knocking. But sometimes when you're desperate, you do desperate
-
things, right, And these people, like I said, the commonality here
-
is that they are both desperate at the same time. And that's I think
-
the reason why they are put together in the same you know texts. Okay,
-
they are both inconvenience. They are both pushing things aside to get to
-
God, and they're read desperate for God. And you don't really care too
-
much about how people feel, what you're going through, or what things everything
-
just false, false away of texts, all the perception, people's perception.
-
You don't really care, like I said, when you need to when you're
-
desperate, okay. And and I think you've heard many have preached this before
-
COVID happened, or maybe God allowed COVID to happen to address the whole thing
-
about complacency, right, People are very complacent in the things they do all
-
the while, and they don't realize that actually there's more to life than just
-
your lives and my life. There's actually more things that are more important.
-
And that's what I believe to an extent, God allowed things to happen the
-
way it happened to ensure that complacency doesn't creep in. Okay, and this
-
is exactly what has happened. The desperation brought the two together. They both
-
brought Gyrus and the unnamed woman to Jesus's feet at the same time. Okay,
-
and uh, let's twelve into a bit of details if you don't mind.
-
Okay, now look at look at Gyrus. Okay, he got to
-
Jesus first. He was the first in line. You know, if you
-
ever get a cue, very popular person, coplatic. No, no,
-
no, let's not get it. Let's not get that. He was the
-
first to get a ticket. In fact, Jesus actually acknowledged and he said,
-
I'm coming right, I'm coming on the way. In that process of
-
going to that place, Uh, this person jumpcula a little bit, okay,
-
and then uh, he was like, you know, my daughter is
-
dying. I'm desperate. How can you why should you stop? You know,
-
I mean it's like you, like pasted Alwin, I think my child
-
needs attention. Come to the house. And this was exactly what's happened.
-
Okay, I'm not saying that he's Jesus, but it's that same context,
-
right, the pastor of the house, past of the time, the time
-
was Jesus. He needed help, and then he just called the past the
-
house and in the process, if past the awin goes somewhere else, it's
-
might thing not important now anymore. It is death, dying bited, you
-
know, you know, so that's what's happening. I think that's what's happening.
-
I'm first, Okay, I'm first. Now let's look at someone of
-
the similarities. And this is quite interesting because the girl that's dying is twelve
-
years old. As we read. The woman has gone through how long twelve
-
years? So if you look at this is a TVB I know, HBO
-
kind of a thing, right. I don't know whether you even watch these
-
guys Chinese shows anymore, but it will be like a scene in the hospital
-
right where the lady sorry, the parents were like, oh, you know,
-
I've got the birth of a new child, a new daughter, happily
-
smiling, and in the background a bit blurred, the lady come out like
-
I've got this problem, same condition. They don't know each other, right,
-
and and and after that becomes an entire series and drama, you know.
-
But it's always like this, right, Like I said, sometimes we
-
are just so focused on the things that we're going through we forget that there's
-
actually some commonality with your neighbor, they say, next to whether it's at
-
work, whether it's in church, anywhere, and we often fail to see
-
that because we are too focused on ourselves. And if the producers can put
-
a title to it, like I said that, it's raat drama and Elvin,
-
you know what I'm saying, right, I think it's interesting as a
-
story, But this is exactly the story that we're saying here. So the
-
scene here really is that they were actually very similar, very very similar.
-
Okay, but they were all they're They're preoccupied with their own promises, just
-
like how Gyrus have received a promise that Jesus is coming. I'm preoccupied my
-
promise. I forget that there's some other things that I needed to attention to.
-
So what I'm trying to say here is also that sometimes you can walk
-
away from some miracles, even though it may not be completely your miracle is
-
somebody else's miracle, just because you are so focused on what God has promised
-
you. Okay. And this is where I think we need to be a
-
bit more careful because sometimes, really it is not just in miracles we always
-
say, right, we always rejoice with others as well. Right, we
-
cannot be too focused on what we what God has placed only on our plates.
-
Because in Romans Child, whys say you really have to rejoice with those
-
that rejoice, and weep with those that weep. Okay. So oh,
-
another commonality. It's also Romans twelve child. No, anyway, let's not
-
get that. But yeah, they're joined together by twelve. Right, they're
-
joined together by twelve. Why because twelve, babically I put up another slide,
-
is quite significant. And there's a lot of things about TRAELA I'm not
-
gonna I'm gonna reach some of the key ones, okay, twelve commandments,
-
Okay. And I think we also know that there twelve tribes, you know,
-
twelve sons, and of course represent by the twelve tribes. Even Ishmael
-
had twelve princess. Okay, think about it, twelve thousand from each tribe
-
Israel. Okay, we'll receive salvation. So twelve, needless to say,
-
is a big number for God. Okay, sorry, Chield disciples as well.
-
I'm coming to that. Yeah. So so, yeah, CHELFH is
-
very important because Old Testament CHELFH is important. The New Testament also, CHELFH
-
is important. Okay, Chelve disciples. Like Elvin said, so even when
-
Jesus started teaching, he was actually twelve. I I sometimes it mazes me
-
of this number twelve because my son is turning twelve in a few days time.
-
A lot of expectation, that's tell anyway. Anyway, twelve, yeah,
-
twelve, and this is Jesus just a kid who's in uh standard sixer
-
upper primary, upper Primary, going to go and talk to those that older,
-
older people are and people with much power and wisdom. Okay, that's
-
that's it, because you know why twelve actually signifies, particularly signifies authority and
-
power of God. Okay, or simply putting it, uh, the nutsheller
-
is Heaven rules you all. That's what it signifies. Twelve. Okay,
-
twelve, and this is a special number here. Now do you know what
-
Jesus actually saying here? Nothing you're facing right, nothing ever facing right Jesus
-
can't handle is what we're trying to say here. Because people always look at
-
this specish I doways, think about all the faith element. Now faith is
-
important, don't get me wrong, but there's also another importance about understanding the
-
authority that is accompanied with that faith. Otherwise their favor is a bit half
-
big. Law cannot really go too far, LA cannot restretch it law or
-
there is some prerequist that it's not met before that faith can be fully exercised.
-
And we all know this, right. The difference between the two,
-
really the two the two characters is one understands the authority a bit more or
-
recognizes the authority a bit more than the other person. Okay, why do
-
I say that? You think about it? The woman right, sorry gyrus
-
right, was trying to get all the protocol rights appointment sent pastorin the calendar
-
and White, I need him here at this time. Can you come past
-
eleven? Agreed? Okay, And it's coming. The other person. I'm
-
so desperate, law, I really need to and and and and yeah,
-
he understand that she understood authority because all I have to do is just touch
-
and that's it. I do need to do a formal appointment. And like
-
I said, this is the awareness of the authority. That's different over here,
-
and again we're not reducing faith the currency of faith. We all say
-
faith is important, right, but faith is almost like I always liken it
-
to like an anchor. Right, it's important, right, But if you
-
ever throw an anchor off the boarder and forgot the tier or have a tandem
-
that connects it to your boat, right, one thing is that even though
-
faith or the anchor is very good, you sort of lose the anchors.
-
And what I'm trying to say is that the court, the tandem that you
-
actually keep that faith effective is actually understanding or recognizing the authority of God to
-
accompany that faith, so they don't throw that thing off and cannot activate that.
-
Essentially, because we also know a lot of passages, right, faith
-
or you need is a little bit of faith, must see it kind of
-
a quantity, right, But authority is how sometimes we've sort of missed the
-
mark in a little bit. So what I'm trying to say here is,
-
or rather what this passage is trying to tell us, is that connect your
-
faith with His authority, all right, because why if you do that,
-
that little bit that muster seat can be taking up a whole new level altogether.
-
Okay, So let's just maximize it, LA, right, maximize it
-
okay? And uh yeah, you know sometimes you look at it you're like,
-
oh, you know, this guy's not receiving his break. True.
-
Maybe the guy in got no faith. Maybe the faith is there, but
-
just not recognizing fully the authority. Okay, And we need to do this
-
otherwise your faith will struggle. I ever thought about it. When you're going
-
through challenges, you'd be like, hey, am I not faithful? Am
-
I my faith issue? No? Maybe it's not recognizing the authority I bakry
-
so far. So don't limit your faith by not understanding the authority, because
-
if you really believe he's the ultimate authority, right, just like in this
-
story, even though the worst has happened, there is still you know a
-
story after that, Lah is a heavy ending after that, LA. Correct.
-
Yeah, So it's never about the size of your faith. Really,
-
it's really about you're understanding the authority of God. Okay. Now you may
-
ask, what is what actually FOSSi scriptures? Can you actually talk about this
-
sort of context? You know, you think about it in the in the
-
boat, remember the boat where Jesus was sleeping slum you know, probably snoring
-
as well. What happened to the disciple of the rest They were in the
-
boat, they were panicking because of the storm is coming right. Um,
-
they probably maybe have a bit of faith, but probably do not recognize certain
-
things. You know, God, after he was Jesus, rather he was
-
awoken, and then he's like, you know, calm down, chill peace,
-
and then everything was calm because why he understood the authority God, that
-
is as in Jesus, he just said a word and then everything was calm.
-
And this is what I'm trying to say. If you understand who's in
-
control that heaven rules, you will not panic even though you're going through different
-
calamities. Okay, are we Okay? Yeah, just like how they shouldn't
-
be anxious because why Jesus is actually in the boat, he is got a
-
direct line with God or even he is God or Solah. So what I'm
-
trying to say is that really we need to start practicing this, not just
-
practice faith, but practice trusting the authority of God in the picture. And
-
this thing would really change things around. Okay, Okay, So instead of
-
saying in over till the fact, ladies, things, you can say this
-
in over till Jesus says Sola, Okay, all right, no matter what's
-
going on, always connect your faith with his authority, just like how I
-
think I shared the last time was here. Even in the pandemic, we
-
always we thought that nothing is in control, but actually Jesus still in control.
-
The authority is still there, she said. Sometimes be like I said,
-
too busy with the things that's happening around us that we forget that and
-
this what's exactly is happening here. Now back to Gyrus and the woman,
-
because I've only got a few minutes left, Okay, Like I said,
-
different levels of awareness of authorities, the difference over here. Okay. And
-
uh, you see, he said, Jesus, come to me, come
-
to me. My daughter is dying. Yeah, my daughter is dying.
-
Come to me, come to me. And then of course Jesus got a
-
bit uh, you know, taken taken away from that, that that story
-
a little bit uh and uh. And and what I'm trying to say here
-
is that, um, you need to understand that it ain't over till he
-
says it's over. And then, Um, one of the most important things
-
is that we need if we don't believe in someone actually having the ultimate authority.
-
Right, Sometimes the way we navigate true life or the way we do
-
things can sometimes be a little bit different. Okay. Like I said,
-
we are not knocking how people respond. But sometimes it is because not the
-
faith portion, but the authority portion. Okay, because you are serving a
-
God who is ultimately in control. Right, he is the word. Right,
-
So whenever you feel something, don't think about the faith portion, but
-
think about not just the faith portion. Of course you have to address that,
-
but also think about the authority. I don't know about you, guys,
-
but sometimes whenever something goes wrong, I'm a very big customer service kind
-
of a person. I mean, I enjoy good customer service, okay,
-
and ever my sticks come out a bit wrong, I will go back to
-
the person. And then the person I can't do anything about it, I
-
will say something very Unchristian to say, can I speak to your supervisor,
-
your manager right now? Why why do people do that? Why do people
-
do that? You think it's because they recognized the authority right the person they
-
can actually do something about it. Okay, I'll tell you a quick story.
-
We were in China pre pandemic, me myself and my wife. She
-
was there for business. I was just taking along just for fun. And
-
then she was looking for a place and a place to host an event.
-
Okay, and we had a few days covered and then one of the places,
-
the hotels or changed things around, and then we didn't have a place
-
to stay in short for one or two days. And then somebody found out
-
what the mission of that trip was all about gave us a very um I
-
think one of the sweets la because they wanted to impression. Of course,
-
I'm not saying that. I'm not talking about the whole fay favor. I'm
-
not going to live in the streets kind of a story, but really talking
-
about the authority that the person who knows it could give that because the person
-
was in some level of authority, and that's why we were given from from
-
living in the streets. We were in the suite overnight. Okay. Uh,
-
no story for another day, but but yeah, um even even yesterday
-
actually fresh fresh story okay, yesterday, Uh, I actually booked a ticket,
-
uh the domestic flight between Perth and Melbourne. I'll be there next month.
-
So what happened was actually I was driving, my wife was there.
-
I asked to help me book the ticket while we're on the road, everything
-
went true. Uh. But then at the end, as Arab pitched,
-
payment wasn't successful. Necessarily find nothing wrong with that, right okay? After
-
that, later when we stopped, I actually booked again, uh, you
-
know, another another thing. And then at the end of the night I
-
realized I received two emails that booked the thing twice, two payments being done.
-
Okay, And then I thought to myself, oh man, how am
-
I going to do this? And all those tickets A obviously the no refundable
-
or those clauses. Lah. So I talked to myself, Koyala, you
-
know, everything is a U D as well, so it's a bit more
-
triple the pain. But you know, I thought, okay, let's just
-
do something about it. I just call up. In fact, actually typed
-
in because chat they got chat chatting function these days. So I wrote in
-
chat long story shot, spend about fifteen all minutes with the person chatting on
-
the thing to say that what has happened. The person said, okay,
-
let me talk to my supervisor. And after the suppoiler took over the chat
-
within three minutes, like you know, because you can see time stammer within
-
three minutes, the problems resolved, and the ticket that couldn't be refunded,
-
they basically just refunded the duplicator. Okay, So what I'm trying to say
-
is that recognize the superior. Talk to your supervisor. Who's a supervisor,
-
Jesus, right? Why bother talking to the underlinks, right, talk to
-
the alpha and the weega Okay, talk to the god of the heaven and
-
earth, all right, talk to the one who was there at the beginning,
-
and we'll be there at the end. Okay, Because why if you
-
recognize who is really in control, that God actually has the authority, you
-
wouldn't be too caught up or too concerned about some of the things that we
-
are going through. Really, and this exactly we're trying to relate to this.
-
She touched the garment because she recognizes the authority. And for twelve years
-
she may have been talking to mid level managers trying to fix a problem medical
-
managers, okay, if I want to use that context. Right, But
-
when she knew that the chief person or the bosses in town, right,
-
she went to the person directly. That's what I call I want to talk
-
to your manager kind of a moment over there because she recognizes the authority that
-
goes to it. And of course partnering, partnering with a faith the miracle
-
actually happened. Okay, So demand an encounter or rather a connection with your
-
manager. Okay, now sight track a little bit. Sometimes we see this
-
as disruptors. We see this as interrupters. We see this as a why
-
is the miracle gyruses miracle or not happening? Why is it being put on
-
whole? Right? But sometimes interruptions is also an invitation for a miracle.
-
It's just whether you're want to see the miracle or not. Right, If
-
you're so caught up, like I said, with what's happening your own scenario,
-
you may not even see the miracle that's happening, or that God is
-
actually having a miracle moment with this other person. Okay. And sometimes,
-
like I said, even though it's urgent, you need to see that there
-
is always a miracle that can happen. And of course what I meant by
-
this is that you know, I'm sure when Gyrus was going through that whole
-
scene, he was very very anxious. Think about this. If you are
-
walking along with Pastor Elvin going to the house and past going stopped by the
-
mama to talk to somebody. He was like, what's happening, don't understand
-
urgent, and he's probably like, you know, pushing the crowd, pushing
-
the air. He's gone, gone, like you know, ten ten paces
-
away, and it's like, where is he? Where is Jesus In the
-
context, there's to go back again, go back to him through the sea,
-
and then then he finds Jesus over there. Jesus is like chilling,
-
who touched me? Kind of a moment, mean, who touched you?
-
Everybody touched you? And not only that. Then after after a long while,
-
only then the person she came and said it was me, right,
-
And then Jesus said, okay, come, come, come, tell me
-
a story. I mean, I don't be saying things about the opposite gender,
-
but you know, if there's something, usually you want to get the
-
the guys to talk, because guys usually very concise with the things that they
-
say. In Jesus, it's inviting this lady to tell the story. You
-
know, what do you think is going through dys this mine? Do you
-
think, hey, hello, don't you get it? My daughter is dying?
-
You know, my daughter is dying and we are frustrated sometimes, right,
-
aren't we all because we are waiting for the miracle. Ever watch somebody
-
get a promotion and then you lose your job. Okay, that's a Gyrus
-
moment. Okay. Ever seen somebody posts pictures on social media Facebook, I
-
don't know Facebook, Twitter to talk about the birth of a new child and
-
you've been trying to have a child for the last twelve years. What do
-
you feel like? Again? Another Gyris moment. Ever see a miracle happened
-
in front of you and you've been waiting for that same miracle to happen.
-
Or see somebody walk down There are a hundred times and you are still there
-
again not knocking. But it's just sometimes we fail to see the bigger picture.
-
And I also believe, to sain extent, God allows these miracles to
-
happen, other people's miracles to also remind us that your miracle is coming.
-
Just like in this story, were not the happy ending. Gus did receive
-
his miracle, so it's not all that bad, all right, But at
-
that moment we may ask God, are you for real? Do you not
-
understand this? Do you not understand why I'm going? True? How can
-
you do it for them, not for me? And again I think this
-
is the thing that just to remind everybody the context today is really we need
-
to put all these things out shoe. If you are in that space,
-
cast it out. I needed us to all understand the key thing here is
-
really whatever that doesn't belong there needs to be cast out, cast out.
-
I put our last worse over there forty He had put them all outside.
-
All you know, not some doubts, not some aspects that's preventing that miracle
-
from happening. Everything has to go before that miracle happens. Maybe some of
-
us need to tell fear to shoot to get out of our lives. Maybe
-
the depression needs to go. Maybe past hurts, past disappointments has to be
-
shoot before that miracles can happen. Anxiety, in patience, anything you know
-
that prevents even disappointments has to be shoot before this could happen. The miracle
-
will happen. Why because we need to understand the authority still lies in our
-
God and only he when the time is right, the miracle can come to
-
pass. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information on
