will light up your day today. I want to talk about the reality of

heaven, friends, I want to talk about the reality of heaven versus the

realities of this earth. Okay. And the key verse I want to share

about is in Collosians chapter three. So Colosians, stepter Tree, right,

if you got your bibles, please turn to your bibles because we're gonna read

it. Colosians chapter three. So Collosians is a church in Colose. Give

you a little bit of a historia. It's a church in Colose. And

you know who who wrote the epi cels? Who? Who is the one

that you know? And someone shout who wrote the episils? Paul? Okay,

Paul the missionary, the one that he's the He's the man, you

know, he's the one that helped push the agenda forward. Right, he

wrote the epistles. So he wrote a letter to the Church of Colosse and

it's Colosia. Do you know that Paul has never met them? Paul has

never met anyone in the Church of Colose. Interesting, he has never met

anyone. In fact, the church planter that went out there the plan in

the Church of College Colose, and you also have a reference of the church

in what loud DC correctly or not. Um his name was Empa Frost and

Paul was actually in jail. Okay, you're not a funny thing. Thank

god Paul's in jail, because if Paul was not in jail, he won't

comic and I really like it because a lot of pictures. I liked it

more for the pictures reader than the stories that okay, and that helped me,

you know. So find something that helps you, Amen, find something

that helps you. Don't. Don't take your faith lightly, you know,

take it seriously. So the Church of Colose let me tell you a little

bit about the Church of Colose. So the Church of Colose, if I'm

of Heaven. So I'm gonna read from verse one to eleven, and then

later I'll go to the n alt version because I quite like the an Alti

version. It says here, if then you were raised with Christ. So

Paul was trying to address the church that you know, because he's hurt and

again the church doesn't doing anything wrong. He's hurt that the church has done

great things. So the church was, you know, doing what they should

do right, and think about it. In our last time got no home

was Paul trying to say? So I broke it up into three the whole

chapter in collosions. Right, what Paul was trying to explain to the church

in colors say more like encouraging them, Okay, encouraging in the church or

college and say, hey, you guys are doing great, but please remember

these few things. Don't forget these few things. Don't be deceived. Don't

listen to other people until you forget where you came from. Right, just

gon't remember that. So take it as also a love letter for me.

So, first part of chapter three, okay, talks about what happens to

us if we follow Christ with this foundational what happens to us as we follow

Christ? Right? Second thing is what are the qualities within us when we

follow Christ. So first is understanding what happens to us. Um, let's

just say none of us here our believe it us. Kay, we're all

not Christians. And then suddenly pass or pastor Peter say, hey, you

know followed Jesus, repent for her scenes and all everyone you become Christian?

Second part is what are the qualities after you receive Christ and you make a

live life? How does Christians live live this way? Those are the three

the right hand of God. Set your mind on things are birth, not

on things on the earth. For you die in your life is hidden with

Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life appears then you also

are on the earth, phonication and cleanest passion, even desire and covetousness,

which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God. While wrath

of God is coming upon the sons of diobedience, Let's not be sons and

lived in them. But now you yourselves are put off all these, put

off anger, wrath, malist blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the women you're

in disease. Do not lie to one another, and have put on the

new Man, who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who

created him. Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised, nor I'm

circumcised, Barbarian, Citian, slave, nor free, but Christ is all

in all. So he you know, you cannot understand who he's talking to

The Jews are people who know God's world right. But these are the Jews

afraid because you have authority in Christ. And when you pray in Jesus name,

worshiping the things of this world. Because of these things, the anger of

God is coming. Wow, But God is so loving? You mean he

will come and he will be angry. Yes he is, he will can't

be angry, okay, so be careful. You used to do these things

when your life was still part of this world. So remember he said what

happens after, So that was before. Now it is after all safe really,

so all safe ready? Now is the time to get rid of anger,

Put on your new nature and be renewed as you learn to know your creator

and become like him. Let me repair that again. Put on your new

Can we please just consider the reality of heaven because once we consider the reality

of heaven in our lives, God will help us with our big picture.

hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do

all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father

We must surrender, surrender, surrender no, give um, give um and

surrender two different things. Surrender surrender. Do you feel exploited, underappreciated,

undervalue recently? I feel like that read remember that the Lord will give you

things of this earth. We are more interested in things of this earth.

We are more, that's admit it. But God is interested in eternity for

you. And the wonderful thing is that when you start shifting your perspective and

saying, oh Lord, now I see it. Please reveal to me the

realities of heaven. Reveal to me what is on my heart. Reveal to

me how I can be someone that follows after you. How I can lead

my family according to your word. How I can demand and command a blessing

from you because I want to seek your favor. Show me, Lord,

how I can be perfected in my faith. Show me, Lord, how

you can come true for me. God will come and he will change your

life upside down, and you will have peace, and you have all these

other things because that is what he wants for you. Amen. We hope
