  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day today. I want to talk about the reality of

  3. heaven, friends, I want to talk about the reality of heaven versus the

  4. realities of this earth. Okay. And the key verse I want to share

  5. about is in Collosians chapter three. So Colosians, stepter Tree, right,

  6. if you got your bibles, please turn to your bibles because we're gonna read

  7. it. Colosians chapter three. So Collosians is a church in Colose. Give

  8. you a little bit of a historia. It's a church in Colose. And

  9. you know who who wrote the epi cels? Who? Who is the one

  10. that you know? And someone shout who wrote the episils? Paul? Okay,

  11. Paul the missionary, the one that he's the He's the man, you

  12. know, he's the one that helped push the agenda forward. Right, he

  13. wrote the epistles. So he wrote a letter to the Church of Colosse and

  14. it's Colosia. Do you know that Paul has never met them? Paul has

  15. never met anyone in the Church of Colose. Interesting, he has never met

  16. anyone. In fact, the church planter that went out there the plan in

  17. the Church of College Colose, and you also have a reference of the church

  18. in what loud DC correctly or not. Um his name was Empa Frost and

  19. Paul was actually in jail. Okay, you're not a funny thing. Thank

  20. god Paul's in jail, because if Paul was not in jail, he won't

  21. have time to write all these letters so that we can read it in the

  22. New Testaments. It would be weird right to say that, sorry Paul,

  23. but yeah, you know, um so so yeah he wrote to the Church

  24. of Colose right and Collosians. I would encourage you to go back read chapter

  25. one and two and if new King James or King Games. I know sometimes

  26. some you are reading Games because it sounds very cool. Please go and read

  27. a more understandable version like n LT or maybe EESV. You know, because

  28. it's not about being eloquent in the world. It's about feeding your soul.

  29. It's about understanding the word, not about being eloquent. Just because you can

  30. quote in King James doesn't make you more holy. Okay. I started my

  31. work in faith with Good News Bible and got pictures quite liked it. You

  32. know, even before that last time we had as kids where this like Bible

  33. comic and I really like it because a lot of pictures. I liked it

  34. more for the pictures reader than the stories that okay, and that helped me,

  35. you know. So find something that helps you, Amen, find something

  36. that helps you. Don't. Don't take your faith lightly, you know,

  37. take it seriously. So the Church of Colose let me tell you a little

  38. bit about the Church of Colose. So the Church of Colose, if I'm

  39. not miss second, was located or its located somewhere in Turkey or something like

  40. that. Okay, I think somewhere there. And a lot of those places

  41. nearby is in Asia. One of the Church Asia, a lot of places

  42. nearby. Day they have a lot of belief system. So so the people

  43. in Colosi, the demographics or the people in Colose um they like, uh,

  44. they're very intellectual. They celebrate philosophy. Okay, that's why they celebrate

  45. it. They celebrate different thought processes. You know. Uh, that's not

  46. just one way to go to go to heaven. There's many ways. South

  47. familiar, right, they celebrate all these things, right, um, and

  48. and and they were very you know, it's very very interesting as I read

  49. about the church calsay. Somehow I look at it and I'm like, hey,

  50. looks at XPJL A little bit looks like uh people, you know,

  51. they're very blast Okay, they they um, they are very Uh. Basically

  52. the financial setting of the church quite good. Law right, Uh, it's

  53. not about poor being poor, you know, it's quite good. The demographics

  54. were interesting. But they also, um, they also are very intellectual people.

  55. Okay, so they believe in a few things. I won't go to

  56. it into that, but you can go study like mysticism because Asia and then

  57. the philosophy of the Romans also it makes a little bit and then a little

  58. bit of a little bit of Christian Christianity. Right, so everything makes makes

  59. together. Okay. How many of you know that if you take the Gospel,

  60. the Gospel is pure and only one, you can also make things on.

  61. But sometimes we make so many other things inside and anyway we call it

  62. the gospel. We gotta be careful, guys, not to see me makes

  63. mix things. You know. The Word of God is the only one thing

  64. that we need to take, right. Um, So that's something we've got

  65. to be careful with. I see, be careful with Facebook, just because

  66. something sounds nice, doesn't mean it's true. If Kenna, I will,

  67. I will challenge you to take whatever you see, even you like it,

  68. and use the Word of God as a mirror see the correct or not right.

  69. And when you read the Word of God, read it with contexts.

  70. Don't take things out of context. You have to read the whole chapter in

  71. scripture. Okay, Kenna, you guys, okay, okay, So let's

  72. talk a little bit about it, Okay. Collosians chapter three, the Realities

  73. of Heaven. So I'm gonna read from verse one to eleven, and then

  74. later I'll go to the n alt version because I quite like the an Alti

  75. version. It says here, if then you were raised with Christ. So

  76. Paul was trying to address the church that you know, because he's hurt and

  77. again the church doesn't doing anything wrong. He's hurt that the church has done

  78. great things. So the church was, you know, doing what they should

  79. do right, and think about it. In our last time got no home

  80. snots. Last time we didn't have you know, in X we go abs

  81. training. We don't have that. We don't have chot points of a leader.

  82. All we had was I talked to you. You talk to me and

  83. then hopefully you kind of understand how it works, and then that's it.

  84. It's the Holy Spirit that brought the church together. So we need the Holy

  85. Spirit. Guys, do we have more the Holy Spirit or not? I

  86. think if we don't have all the Holy Spirit and then we need more of

  87. training. You know, we need more of the Holy Spirit. Do you

  88. have more of the Holy Spirit in your own lives? Right? So what

  89. was Paul trying to say? So I broke it up into three the whole

  90. chapter in collosions. Right, what Paul was trying to explain to the church

  91. in colors say more like encouraging them, Okay, encouraging in the church or

  92. college and say, hey, you guys are doing great, but please remember

  93. these few things. Don't forget these few things. Don't be deceived. Don't

  94. listen to other people until you forget where you came from. Right, just

  95. gon't remember that. So take it as also a love letter for me.

  96. So, first part of chapter three, okay, talks about what happens to

  97. us if we follow Christ with this foundational what happens to us as we follow

  98. Christ? Right? Second thing is what are the qualities within us when we

  99. follow Christ. So first is understanding what happens to us. Um, let's

  100. just say none of us here our believe it us. Kay, we're all

  101. not Christians. And then suddenly pass or pastor Peter say, hey, you

  102. know followed Jesus, repent for her scenes and all everyone you become Christian?

  103. Right? What happens then? Right? Um? That's the first part.

  104. Second part is what are the qualities after you receive Christ and you make a

  105. Christian? How or what is the qualities that you should That means how when

  106. people see, oh, you're a Christian because you have these qualities your catch

  107. that that's the second part. And the third part talks about what we should

  108. be practicing, meaning what's our role? What? How? How would Christians

  109. live life? How does Christians live live this way? Those are the three

  110. parts, right are you guys? Okay, so we're going to do byber

  111. study today. Kay? So he says, yeah. If you then were

  112. raised with Christ, seek those things which are birth where Christ is sitting in

  113. the right hand of God. Set your mind on things are birth, not

  114. on things on the earth. For you die in your life is hidden with

  115. Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life appears then you also

  116. will appear with Him in glory. Therefore, put to death your members which

  117. are on the earth, phonication and cleanest passion, even desire and covetousness,

  118. which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God. While wrath

  119. of God is coming upon the sons of diobedience, Let's not be sons and

  120. daughters of disobedience, okay, in which you are yourselves once walked when you

  121. lived in them. But now you yourselves are put off all these, put

  122. off anger, wrath, malist blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

  123. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the women you're

  124. in disease. Do not lie to one another, and have put on the

  125. new Man, who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who

  126. created him. Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised, nor I'm

  127. circumcised, Barbarian, Citian, slave, nor free, but Christ is all

  128. in all. So he you know, you cannot understand who he's talking to

  129. with the last time he's talking to the Jews. Who are the Jews?

  130. The Jews are people who know God's world right. But these are the Jews

  131. that were redeemed. They know who Jesus is, the accepted him as savior.

  132. And then you have that, then you have the gentiles. Thank God,

  133. that's the gentles. You know why who is the gentiles? Us?

  134. That means all the other random people they are not Jews. We are the

  135. gentiles. And and it also talks about slave or all free. Hey,

  136. does that mean that in the church itself there is slaves? Yes, so

  137. he's also talking to them slave not free? What else? But Christ is

  138. all in all? Okay, let's let's go to n LT. We're gonna

  139. do it like say, we're gonna be at study. You guys, okare

  140. following me so far? Okay, So let's go n LT. And then

  141. I really like NLT nowadays because it helps um with understanding. Okay, let's

  142. see oh man and LT. Okay, So I'm gonna read again, same

  143. same from one till eleven. It says here, since you have been raised

  144. to a new life with Christ. So that's what happens. We are raised

  145. to a new life in Christ. Set your sights upon the realities of Heaven.

  146. Set your sights upon the realities of heaven where Christ sits in the place

  147. of honor at God's right hand. Right hand talks about authority, so that

  148. that picture tells you that Christ has all the authority you know. Just now

  149. we declare in the name of Jesus, Jesus name are powerful. No,

  150. please don't treat it lightly. I know we some I say in Jesus name

  151. when we say grace on me. And then when people are to pray,

  152. Nola, Nola, Nola. Do you know that you don't have to be

  153. afraid because you have authority in Christ. And when you pray in Jesus name,

  154. it will happen. Have we set out sides on heaven? See if

  155. you set in our sides on heaven, and then you won't be afraid.

  156. But have you set your sides on heaven? Or you looking at what's on

  157. earth? Cannot die? Irdala? This thing like that? Go on radiala.

  158. You look at your bank account? I got no money, harbase,

  159. God ask me to give? But God, how come on? Your authority

  160. is? Where? Where's authority? Think about the things of heaven, not

  161. the things of earth. For you died in this life. Oooh, die

  162. in his life. Your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And

  163. when Christ, who is your life? Is revealed to the whole world,

  164. you will share in all his glory. So put to death sinful earthly things

  165. lurking within you while we didn't. Yes, inside us we have sinful earthly

  166. things, okay, Right, Like yesterday I just posted up I bought mechanical

  167. keyboard. That's expensive. Yeah, guilty pleasure. No, no way I

  168. can justify that. I can use it for for God's glory. You on

  169. how how people? No, maybe I put across that. No, guys,

  170. it's just guilty pleasure. So yes, we all have sinful ofthly things,

  171. right, okay, So put to death that have nothing to do with

  172. sexual immorality. I tell you, the world now is getting worse and worse

  173. and worse in this area. It's very scary with all the movements that's happening.

  174. It's sexual immorality, guys. That's the truth. Truth hurts. What

  175. are we subscribing to throughly mindset and values or things of heaven? Impurity?

  176. Last, evil desires don't be greedier for a greed person. It's an idolater

  177. worshiping the things of this world. Because of these things, the anger of

  178. God is coming. Wow, But God is so loving? You mean he

  179. will come and he will be angry. Yes he is, he will can't

  180. be angry, okay, so be careful. You used to do these things

  181. when your life was still part of this world. So remember he said what

  182. happens after, So that was before. Now it is after all safe really,

  183. so all safe ready? Now is the time to get rid of anger,

  184. rich, malicious behavior, slender and the te language, A lot of

  185. the te language nowadays on TV in music. Don't lie to each other,

  186. for you have stripped off your all sinful nature and all its weaker deeds.

  187. By it's a white lie pass It's okay on right. If I am too

  188. truthful, then everybody be angry. We can try and justify all we want.

  189. But that's the old self. Can we live as born again Christians?

  190. Put on your new nature and be renewed as you learn to know your creator

  191. and become like him. Let me repair that again. Put on your new

  192. nature and be newt refresh, rebooted as you learn. We have to learn.

  193. No all heavines, thy heart. I always say so, I'm not

  194. surprised when things happens. Anyway, I would just say all heaviness, thy

  195. heart. It's very hard to develop a new habit. Okay, but we

  196. have to learn, We have to know, have to learn. See,

  197. the more you do, the more you learn. The less you do,

  198. the less you learn. Right, it is very normal, right, you

  199. know your understanding this. But why we learn so that we can renewed,

  200. so that we can become like Christ in this new life. It doesn't matter

  201. if you're due or gentile, circumcised or circumcised, barbarian and civilized, slave

  202. or free. Christis all that matters, and He lives us. Let me

  203. go deeper in that, so I'll focus our thoughts what we worry about.

  204. We got to think about the reality of Heaven more than the reality of earth.

  205. Yes, is there a reality of Yes? There is. Just recently

  206. I thought about it. Like wah me and my wife, we have um

  207. I won't say if she allowed me to share, but no choice, I

  208. I will probably share. We have desires for our kids, you know.

  209. We want to save us an amount money, you know, and then we're

  210. looking at our bank, are looking at you know, math, don't lie

  211. on no math. Mathis flow one plus one is too you cannot like,

  212. oh Lord, prayer and then Sally you become five cannot that's going their way

  213. right And the reality is if if if we continue in this trajectory, what's

  214. going to happen? But I see that's the reality of the earth. What

  215. is the reality of Christ. Let me share you the reality of Christ.

  216. God provided for my wedding. I know savings our guys. Somehow God provided

  217. supernaturally. I mean when I says supernaturally, not money from heaven. A

  218. people gave flower, but people gave way money. I thought they would give

  219. supernaturally. God always provides. That is the truth. That is the reality

  220. of heaven, relative of is gonna money. That's the reality. Again,

  221. I'm not here too, and people passing son you preciate about prosperticas, Well,

  222. no, I'm not talking about that now. Let me talk about healing

  223. here, okay, prospertic money. Don't talk about money to about healing.

  224. Took my money. People get very sensitive. The facts is the doctor says

  225. ABCDE. What's what's the truth? God heals. See if we don't believe

  226. that God heals our white pray, non't you pray it? But we still

  227. pray because we know that God heals, and we have seen that God heals

  228. our of prayer. Every Tuesday prey on people online. Do you know the

  229. amount of cancer healing that he wants You've heard is crazy, and we still

  230. do it because we believe God heals. If not, why why we do

  231. it? It works? Guys? Last time extra about to sign at the

  232. back. It works because I can't tell people it works, but it takes

  233. crazy people to do it. To prove that it works. Is exprajay crazy

  234. enough. It's expraject crazy enough to believe realities of heaven our thoughts. I

  235. worry, Yes, I know we will come to this place. That's why

  236. we have to come to this place where Look, ninety takes twenty three stays

  237. when he has said to them or if anyone desires to come after me,

  238. let him number one deny himself. Oh I need to deny himself nowadays,

  239. I especially the younger ones. Nothing right. Oh you know I need to

  240. discover myself. I need to find myself. I need to find find yourself

  241. in Jesus. Let me give you a solution. Find yourself in Jesus.

  242. Stop finding yourself in what's out there. Stop looking a certain way, Stop

  243. looking and saying I want to be like Captain America. Why don't you be

  244. like Captain Jesus. No, seriously, guys, because it's rest stressful to

  245. be like Captain America. No, you know the amount of it's not easy

  246. to train. No, okay, Um, I'm trying to lose it.

  247. Okay, and h I'm not saying I want to be like Kept America,

  248. but I try very very waste and I tell you so far, I'm finding

  249. something that works. Okay. And again it is not an AD or anything

  250. else, but I found this app. I won't tell you what is it,

  251. but I heard somewhere that oh no, it's quite effective because where high

  252. person, the people actually lose it. And I try to try it.

  253. It's basically it uses psychology to to train you. And he's been working because

  254. I mentioned to lose two kg really in the past one month. Let's see

  255. where it goes. Okay, you know, but it takes it takes effort,

  256. it takes time, you know. And yes, but does losing weight

  257. define me? No, it doesn't. Losing weight doesn't define me. I

  258. just want to lose weight, sect me healthy. One of the questions the

  259. app asked me is what is your big picture? Because a lot of people

  260. want to do things, but then they don't have a big picture, and

  261. then when they go through failure, they regret, and then they will flow

  262. down and then they will stop doing it. Really, and the way to

  263. get your big picture is to ask yourself the same question again and again.

  264. It was weird because I had to answer that question five times, and I'm

  265. like, this is my big picture. I want to lose it because I

  266. want to live longer for my kids. What is your big picture? I

  267. want to lose it because I want to be healthier so that I can.

  268. And then it came to a point where I think that if I'm not mistaken,

  269. the big picture is I want to lose weight because I want to see

  270. my kids grow up. So you see, it goes deeper and deeper,

  271. peaper. What is our big picture? A lot of here overse here,

  272. we have a lot of big pictures. Right, That's a lot of things

  273. that motivate your life. Can I encourage us? Can please? Can?

  274. Can we please just consider the reality of heaven because once we consider the reality

  275. of heaven in our lives, God will help us with our big picture.

  276. It's very funny on the exchange, you know, you know, the Bible

  277. constantly had these very weird exchange. You know, one rest take on my

  278. yoke? What does that mean? God? You mean I want rest,

  279. I must take on your burden? Yeah, yeah, because my burden is

  280. lighter than your burden. You know why, because you're you're carrying a burden

  281. anyway, So redder than carry your burden day is definitely behavior. Carry my

  282. burden day, it's not as heavy as yours. You know. It's saying

  283. in the Bible or so that we are slaves. Oh, but I don't

  284. want to be a slave to Jesus, you know, you mean what once

  285. I commit to him, then I'll be a slave to him. Yes,

  286. you will be a slave to him. But if you don't realize, if

  287. you didn't commit to Jesus and be a slave to him, you're a slave

  288. anyway, meaning no matter what you do, your seal, a slave.

  289. Better be a slave to a better owner than a slave to an owner.

  290. That's horrible, correct, But we don't realize that, we don't realize that

  291. commitment to Christ. So the reality of heaven, we've got to deny ourselves.

  292. Take about cross daily daily and follow Jesus. So simple, yet so

  293. complicated, Right, it's so easy to understand yet so hard to do.

  294. Corona, how do deny yourself? You mean past it al being? If

  295. I want to sleep in on a Sunday, I have to not sleep in

  296. and come to church. Yes, oh, now you're talking about work low

  297. you know. No, no, no, no, no, guys,

  298. I'm talking about what is your commiment to Christ? Not the church? What

  299. is your commument to Christ? Of course Christ as the church. That so

  300. there's one way of expression, right, But what is your commment to Christ?

  301. Not ourselves but Christ? And God doesn't like these things. He gets

  302. angry. You know. We really got to remember that God is a jealous

  303. God. Please, guys, there's only easy after a whila. We don't

  304. listen to our father. Father, you're here, you you feel me here.

  305. You can be nice your kids. But after a while they don't listen

  306. to you, and they continue not listening to you, and they think that

  307. they have all the right in the world to do all the day want.

  308. It depends on your level of patience. Law. I think your patience all

  309. right now right, I think you will come to the past like you better

  310. not talk to me like that because Bible also say spread the rods, Paul

  311. the child. See we like the good things about God. But do you

  312. all worry that actually God can be angry or so you don't know that?

  313. So please don't disobey him. Cannot not please system to him. Well,

  314. this is a big one. Stop lying to each other. Okay, guys,

  315. I'm gonna say you one sir, sorry, someone in your life saying

  316. please stop lying to each other. Please stop lying to each and I'm going

  317. to repay more time. Please stop lying to each other. It is very

  318. hard when we live a life of lies, when we put on a mask.

  319. Oh, everything's perfect, everything is okay, but you're dying at the

  320. side there. Stop lying. We're tiring one. Now. Stop. The

  321. problem with lying is that you will become bigger and bigger and bigger. And

  322. the other point lying is you won't make sense after word. You won't make

  323. sense on it becomes your reality. That's very dangerous because then you're living a

  324. life of lies. Please don't come to the light, expose everything. Don't

  325. lie. Really it's okay. One won't die one live a life of truth.

  326. Amen, put on your new nature, be renewed, and learn to

  327. be like Christ. It doesn't matter what he's our background that's liked the last

  328. line. I thought it was very good. Let me give you this statement.

  329. I always believe that Jesus is for everyone, not just the English speaking

  330. church in Kualape, not just the blank worship album churches that we see everywhere.

  331. Don't you think Christ is for everyone? Don't you think Christ is for

  332. the poor uneducated people? You mean only the educated Christians that are mature can

  333. follow after Jesus, the most eloquent people that understand apologetics can fully embrace Christ.

  334. Don't believe that line. Because Jesus is for everyone. It cannot just

  335. be for us. It is for the god out there, It is for

  336. the waiter down there. It is for everyone. Have we caught this yet?

  337. No? No, Jesus is for everyone. And let it be encouragement

  338. to you because it doesn't matter whether you're rich or poor. Crisis for you.

  339. It doesn't matter whether you have a functional family or broken family. Crisis

  340. for you, and He will come true for you. It doesn't matter whether

  341. you have an easy life or hard life. Actually, you know what you

  342. know? The interesting thing? Well or not interesting? But do you know

  343. that people who have had life accept Jesus faster people have easy life? See

  344. agreement people have easy life, right, very hard to accept christis because everything

  345. is perfect. Also, you think, La, it doesn't matter whether you

  346. have opportunities in life or whether you don't have much opportunities in life. It

  347. really doesn't matter where you're from, because Jesus is all that matters, and

  348. he lives in us all. Someone recently asked me this question paste in.

  349. You know, every time I share people in this problem, right, they

  350. answer. The way they answer me is like, don't know you pray?

  351. La? Very cliche? Right, I look at the person. I said,

  352. Yes, it's cliche, but it's true. Guys, it's true.

  353. Yes, pray because the Lord of Heaven will come and he will meet you

  354. wherever you're at chrisis for everyone. Imen, I don't want M sure,

  355. I have to rush it. I guess. Okay, I hope you're catching

  356. something from this. So what are the qualities within us as we are follow

  357. Christ? Okay? Collisions Chapter three vers Child. Let me just read real

  358. quick. It says, you're therefore, as elect of God, holy and

  359. beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, and long

  360. suffering, bearing one another and forgiving one another. If everyone, anyone has

  361. a complaint against another, even as Christ or gave you, so you must

  362. do. But above all these things, put on love, which is the

  363. bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,

  364. to which also you are called in one body, and be faithful. Let

  365. the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing

  366. one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your

  367. hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do

  368. all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father

  369. true Him. Okay, sort of first point, So what is It's okay,

  370. we've come to a place where this is what happened, and then therefore

  371. we are new men. Okay, put on Jesus, new men. Don't

  372. do all these other things. That's nonsense anymore. Move on to the new

  373. Now. He talks about our relationship one another in church. So this is

  374. very good reflection, whether it's happening or not. Okay, whether is happening

  375. in your homes, whether it's happening in your life, is a good reflection

  376. on ourselves and on our people. Okay, Like say no condemnation. Let's

  377. learn together. Okay. So the first thing we need to remember is that

  378. it talks about the character and the attitude of God's chosen people. We are

  379. chosen, how we should treat one another as believers. God chose you.

  380. Okay, let me see if I can break this thought. You know,

  381. when your approach to do something or when God as you do something in His

  382. house as a believer. You know how Christians like to say, let me

  383. pray about it first, Guys, can I be very honest as jes panther?

  384. God Raye chose you already some things? Don't you pray? One?

  385. I've God asked you to branches, please pray. I will pray for you.

  386. But if we serve the house, are and you're part of the family,

  387. are no? You pray one? No? You pray one? Why

  388. you want to complicate it? You're chosen already, you say, here are

  389. we reading in the same Bible? We are? God Raye chose you,

  390. right. And and there's this thing about our faith, you know, there's

  391. a thing and our message that I wanted to preach but then came first.

  392. So do you know our faith is a muscle in our body? How many

  393. of you here to do body building? Body by how do you hear exercise?

  394. Hey? Come on, this is where you you know? Why so

  395. shy I exercise the past? We said, keptain America anyway? Um,

  396. you know faith is a muscle, right, you've got to exercise it.

  397. Right, The more you exercise your faith, the better you get. The

  398. more you exercise your faith, the fatter you become. So have we been

  399. exercising our faith? So? Similarly to this, we have to exercise.

  400. We are God's chosen people. You know, it says we need to clothe

  401. ourselves. Analysis, we need to clothe ourselves. Put on you see,

  402. put on the new man cloth ourselves? Do you know? It is taking

  403. up something and wearing it. That is the picture. It's not always ready

  404. inside. No, you have to actually take up kindness and put it on

  405. and say, okay, I'm gonna be kind now close ourselves. We tend

  406. hutted messy kindness, humility, gentleness and patients. Wow. I asked myself

  407. this question, Elvin, Have I had then the hutted messy recently? Am

  408. I kind? You know? Now in our family we always check each other

  409. out, you know, me and my wife say hey, Can you please

  410. be a bit more kinder? Yeah? Kids, can you please be a

  411. bit more kinder? You know? Humility? Humility is right hot, especially

  412. for guys. Humility is going up to someone even though I know I didn't

  413. do anything wrong and say sorry. Yeah, that's who mean. Gentleness and

  414. patience make allowance for each other's faults because we're not perfect. You know I'm

  415. not perfect. You're not perfect, admit it. So we gotta make allowance

  416. to me, and you do not make allowance to me. It's not okay

  417. since I'm not perfect and you're not perfect. It will be okay if you

  418. make a mistake. But how many of you know you are not like that?

  419. What you did that one thing? How could you? I will never

  420. forgive you what too much Chinese dramadi. You gotta make allowance means you've got

  421. to kind of expect it that people will fail you, but God will not

  422. fail you. So we have to make allowance for one. Now that we've

  423. got to be understanding that it's okay. One. How could past you not

  424. shake my hand a day? How could he use me as so many illustration?

  425. So embarrassing? I'm not a human now, sorry, please make allowance.

  426. Okay, make allowance right, and and and and the thing is forgive

  427. one another. We got to forgive one another. So I'm so sorry.

  428. You know, I apologize right forgive one another? Why? Because God forgive

  429. us so interesting past the king? Can you share something here and like,

  430. wow, this is very good quote catchphrase because he said He says something to

  431. the effect of, if God can it, if God can accept you with

  432. all your you know, all your problem and karad and nonsense. Uh,

  433. you can accept your other half or you can accept your spouse in a marriage.

  434. I love you. Probably not married here, so I understand you don't.

  435. You cannot relate. Those say are married are reflecting all those words.

  436. Now love one another. Friends, do you feel love in his church?

  437. I really hope you do. If you have not, please let's have dinner.

  438. I will make sure I love you enough, you know, And if

  439. you're not, please let me know. Then as a pastor, I need

  440. to encourage our flock to be a more loving. Can't know, guys?

  441. Can we be a bit more loving in this place? Right? Because christ

  442. love binds us together? Do you know what binds us love? You know?

  443. Someone people say, oh, I don't agree and then don't agree in

  444. then that's it. You know. It's not about agreement or guys, it's

  445. about alignment. A lot of things man wife don't agree on, but still

  446. together because we love each other, right, and we have this line so

  447. that we can end the argument and maybe we revisit another day. Is we

  448. agree to disagree? You know? Yeah? But love love binds us together.

  449. Amen, And let's let God's peace rule our hearts. You know you

  450. want to have peace God has will come in and then he will rule your

  451. heart. Be thankful, it says here, Let God's world live in us.

  452. Worship God with thankful hearts. Some one hundred and four ss enter into

  453. his gates with thanksgiving and into his cot sweet praise, and be thankful to

  454. him and bless his name. That is the attitude that we need to come

  455. when we are coming forwardship. We've got to be thankful. We're gotta have

  456. thanksgiving. You know how Thanksgiving just reflect on what are the good things?

  457. You know? You know how not to have thanksgiving reflect on all the things

  458. that go wrong. Then you won't have Thanksgiving. Okay, you can find

  459. one, confuct can find one, very easy to find things that go wrong,

  460. one in your life. It's actually not so easy to find things that

  461. go right. But do you know that if we can practice and learn to

  462. have a heart deeks thanksgiving, you will be so pleasant to hang out with,

  463. so pleasant. If you are not thankful, you will be not so

  464. pleasant to hang out with, because definitely or something to say over everything,

  465. one can assume you're like that. Lah, Try to be thankful. Try

  466. to be thankful. Yeah, I know, I know, I know your

  467. family not perfect. Try to be thankful. I know, I know,

  468. I know life is not perfect. But try to be thankful. I know,

  469. I know some of you here have been praying for their girl for a

  470. year us and she has not given you a single second. Just be thankful.

  471. Luck that you're single and not you know, relationship that is with a

  472. crazy cycle woman. Oh man, safe here. Be thankful, Guys,

  473. be thankful because God will lead you be thankful. We gotta learn to be

  474. thankful. Amen. Yes, there are things that we cannot be thankful for.

  475. I tell you you want to be not thankful? Very easy, just

  476. go on social media. You'll be unhappy, right, especially those I want

  477. to go and buy cope concerticus one. Let me tell you's any funny.

  478. One of our homies just came and said, oh no, I got to

  479. share testimony. You know, you know everybody cannot get competicus. I think

  480. I many should get them. We were like, okay, I wouldn't say

  481. yeah, but it's not. It's not wrong, it's not wrong. But

  482. be thankful? Amen. What is the posture of someone who is thankful?

  483. Think about it. Whatever we do, we do it in Jesus name.

  484. We represent Christ, Amen, and we can be thankful to God true Christ.

  485. See can I can I teach you something simple? Very simple, but

  486. hopefully it's easier to do post I mean is very hard. I'm not like

  487. that. Let me agree to you. Yes, it is hard, and

  488. you're not like that. That's why you gotta die to yourself and take on

  489. Christ. Okay, let me simplify it. Somehow, it's hard for me

  490. to do all these things. Yes, I agree, Then don't let Christ

  491. come and do it for you? Does that make sense? What with him?

  492. Ask him, Lord Hamer? Half the things in my life or half

  493. the issues that I have in my life? God really deal with me one?

  494. Really? I know I cannot do it alone. But somehow he moves,

  495. he changes, He challenges, you know, and I tell you it's

  496. very I don't know. I don't want to use to a frustrating but sometimes

  497. I'm like, oh, you know, I have this thought, I got

  498. this plan, you know, and then I'll scheme. Okay, so what

  499. scheme? I'll do all these things, you know, and then and then

  500. I'm like, I'm gonna do this day. I'm gonna talk to this left

  501. that I go to go through it. And I read that, I'm like,

  502. because God speaks and say, Elvin, why are you Why are you

  503. so worried about the realities of this think about the realities of heaven? Nah?

  504. Why do you want to try and scheme and try and figure out your

  505. way? Trust me? La cannot not Okay, Lo Lord, Okay,

  506. Long, I trust you Long. But I see that conversation has to happen,

  507. right, because if that comversation that happened, then then that cannot happen

  508. now, Amen, So be thankful. Okay. I'm my last lab.

  509. I guess okay, last lab Okay, Okay, design I think quite going

  510. to be quite sensitive. Okay, but because we're specific, but it says

  511. what we should be practicing as believers of Christ. Okay, let me read

  512. now. So we're gonna read from Corinthians, Chapter eighteen, first twenty five

  513. years being at home. Wow, First one, wives, wives, wives

  514. or married wives, submit to your husband's Okay, as is fitting for those

  515. who belong to the Lord. Okay. Paraphrasing Ah, That means that if

  516. you don't belong to the Lord, then don't submit your husband. But if

  517. you belong to the Lord, submit to your husband. But my husband don't

  518. believer. The word of God is still the same. Okay. Husband's your

  519. turn. Love your wives and never treat them harshley. Men, please repent

  520. in the house right now. I'll be the first lord. Sorry, guys,

  521. your wife's gonna calle the scripture to you. Husband's love your wife and

  522. never treat them harshley. Children who always obey your parents? Let me read

  523. it again. Children always obey your parents? Why for these pleasers the Lord?

  524. But my parents are crazy? Children always obey your parents for these pleases

  525. the Lord, but they're not giving me why one? Children always obey your

  526. parents for these pleasers the Lord? Who are you pleasing your parents? Sorry,

  527. you're not. You're pleasing God, and God will come true for you.

  528. But my words, God will come true for you. My parents,

  529. not to say, the most sane people in the world. And it's not

  530. easy to do this, I understand. But you demand a favor of the

  531. Lord when you obey your parents, especially if they are tyrants at home,

  532. because it is not them, but it is you you want to be blessed.

  533. This is the word of God. Fathest men. Again, do not

  534. aggravate your children. I do this all the time, or they will become

  535. discourage. You don't discourage your kids, right, So don't ever aggravate them.

  536. Okay, But of course if they obey you, then it's easier not

  537. to aggravate them. Like right, Oh well, I don't even explain more.

  538. It's quite stay for all right, guys, try stare for all right.

  539. Slaves Okay, let's let's change the word slave. Costess no slave,

  540. hear, We only slave to the right race. Employees. Obey your earthly

  541. bosses in everything you do. Try to please them all the time. Oh

  542. not just when they are watching you. You know, they say, when

  543. the cats are away, the mouthse come out to play. Don't do that,

  544. serve them sincerely, because of your reverend fear of your boss. No

  545. reverend fear of the Lord. Work willingly. These are now I need to

  546. talk to the young person. Young people, but this so senseless asked me

  547. to go and photocopy work willingly at whatever you do as though you were working

  548. for your mom. No, as though you were working for the Lord rather

  549. than people. Why let's go to the wire. Remember that the Lord will

  550. give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the master you're serving is

  551. Christ? Can you accept that? Can you accept that? Not easy enough?

  552. I realize I'm like, ah, I want to be bossed. You

  553. want an inheritance from the Lord. This is why you do? Are you

  554. a believers? This is what believers? This is why people who followed Jesus

  555. too. But if you do what is wrong in this warning, kay,

  556. and I'm going to end ready, if you do what is wrong, you

  557. will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has no

  558. favorites. But past the last time you'll preach, you share about God's favor

  559. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we need to seek God's favor.

  560. But God has no favorites. It's a good thing, actually, because he

  561. treats everyone the same. But we need to seek his favor. How do

  562. we seek his favor friends. This is how we see his favor colosion street

  563. ding. And if I've talks about the instructions for a Christian household, this

  564. your house? How does your house look like? Parents? How does your

  565. house look like kids? How does your house look like some of you here?

  566. You might say, Oh, but my parents are not believers. They

  567. don't understand. Yeah, they don't understand. I know. But shouldn't you

  568. be the sort of light where they're at and obey them because the Lord will

  569. turn your hearts, you know, and then they will see you know.

  570. Sometimes we come to this place where we feel like we need to fight for

  571. ourselves. And when time and time again I read the Bible. God teach

  572. us use us to surrender. He teaches us to surrender. He teaches us

  573. to trust him, He teaches us to rely on him. He teaches us

  574. to let go to him. He teaches us to take on his burden.

  575. And here we are five. Everybody fight, fight dead, no one.

  576. We must surrender, surrender, surrender no, give um, give um and

  577. surrender two different things. Surrender surrender. Do you feel exploited, underappreciated,

  578. undervalue recently? I feel like that read remember that the Lord will give you

  579. an inheritance as your reward, and then the master you're serving with Christ,

  580. friends leaps. Let's keep in mind the realities of heaven and not just be

  581. preoccupied with the realities of this earth. I hope that today's my Sage will

  582. give us a little bit of an insight on what we should be thinking about

  583. in this week and from this time onwards. You know, I know sometimes

  584. things like this are not easy to receive, but it's only for our good

  585. because the word of God is the one that challenges us. So if you

  586. ever feel like we're convicted now, just know that it's not past no power

  587. and but it is the Holy Spirit convicting your hearts. Why He cares for

  588. you enough to make you feel He cares for you enough to make you realize

  589. because God wants us to change you change right. I don't know whether there's

  590. any direct benefit to me. Maybe because I'm the leader of the church and

  591. I'm responsible. Okay, but I'm not responsible for your actions. But I'm

  592. responsible for you. Means I'm responsible to share whatever that the Lord says.

  593. But what you do are is your problem with Seriously, you know, if

  594. if I don't share this or if we don't share the word, then it

  595. is on me because we aren't try and keep everything safe, and so it's

  596. not easy sometimes to share this. But I want to introduce the Holy Spirit.

  597. If we have been living this life without realizing that the Holy Spirit is

  598. there, I want to let you know that he's here and he's interested in

  599. your life. He's interested in heaven for you. He's not really interested in

  600. things of this earth. We are more interested in things of this earth.

  601. We are more, that's admit it. But God is interested in eternity for

  602. you. And the wonderful thing is that when you start shifting your perspective and

  603. saying, oh Lord, now I see it. Please reveal to me the

  604. realities of heaven. Reveal to me what is on my heart. Reveal to

  605. me how I can be someone that follows after you. How I can lead

  606. my family according to your word. How I can demand and command a blessing

  607. from you because I want to seek your favor. Show me, Lord,

  608. how I can be perfected in my faith. Show me, Lord, how

  609. you can come true for me. God will come and he will change your

  610. life upside down, and you will have peace, and you have all these

  611. other things because that is what he wants for you. Amen. We hope

  612. you've been blessed by this message. For more information on our church, please
