  1. You're listening to a message to go from as church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. The last time when I came and spoke,

  3. I shared with you guys about the Book of Second Peter, chapter one,

  4. and if you remember clearly, I spoke about the you know, the context

  5. or what the book was about, what the apostle Peter was going through,

  6. and who are the people they were dealing with. Very quick recap. Basically

  7. he was dealing he was actually going to die. He knows his time is

  8. up. And he is also the leader of the Christian movement at that time,

  9. and he wrote a letter read heartfelt letter to encourage the Christians because the

  10. Christians were at a very important point of their journey where they are growing uh

  11. in numbers, in influence, but also growing in terms of resistance from the

  12. surrounding as well, resistance from the Romans, from the Greeks, and even

  13. from the Jews as well their own people. So they were actually facing opposition

  14. from every sign, and Peter, knowing that his time is up, left

  15. them, tried to encourage them and especially try to guard and protect these pressures

  16. souls so that you know, you know, a lot of times when you

  17. when you remove the leader, right, you know, what you're trying to

  18. see is that the team or the people or any institution to start to fall

  19. apart without a leader. But they don't realize that actually Peter is just a

  20. man. You know, Peter is not the leader. The leader. It's

  21. already in a one. The leader is Jesus Christ and the leader, you

  22. know, it's having what we call an upside down kingdom. If you have

  23. that term before, an upside down kingdom. No upside down kingdom means what

  24. a kingdom that is totally different from the kingdom of this world. The kingdom

  25. of this world works by when the king deals their army, expand their land,

  26. like Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan or anyone great conquerors. They expand,

  27. British colony, they expand, and then there's a king or a queen

  28. that you know, reigns over them. But the moment that the king and

  29. queen dies, the empire falls apart or they depends on who succeeds them.

  30. But Jesus is the opposite. When Jesus started to reign, he didn't have

  31. any armies. He only had seven disciples there twelve disciples, isn't it.

  32. But then when he died, what happened? Did his kingdom fall apart?

  33. His kingdom just began. Actually, more people came to came to know Jesus,

  34. came to be recruited into his soldier after he dies. It's kind of

  35. interesting. That's why it's called the upside down kingdom, isn't it? So?

  36. Instead, you know, when the empire falling apart, the empire builds

  37. some you know, he keeps growing and growing on growing when the king dies.

  38. But the king didn't die and perish. The king dies and was raised

  39. again. So get he will reign in the hearts of the people. Finally,

  40. incident, isn't it? Normally the kingdom must have people, must have

  41. a kingdom, must have a country and an army. Jesus does it the

  42. opposite way. He dies, he resurrects, and he lives, and his

  43. kingdom will no end. Understand Now, it's what we call the upside down

  44. kingdom. It's the opposite of how the way it operates. You know,

  45. this is the way of the world Jesus right now, even now, the

  46. Kingdom of God is still expanding, isn't it? In you? And he

  47. made that's why we have worshiped. That's why in every country that you go

  48. to, you see God, you know, doing, not expanding his influence

  49. and his power. A lot of times we see British colonies already in a

  50. subsiding Spanish colonies influence, you know. Oh then you still see histories that

  51. but they are just a fragment of what they are. They are gone,

  52. but Jesus still continues to reign. And we talked about, you know what

  53. Peter was fearful of. What was not so much about the the the opposition,

  54. or the resistance. They are coming from the outside. Okay, the

  55. greatest danger that affects the church will always coming, will always come from the

  56. inside, you know, not so much from the outside. His choice from

  57. the inside, this choice from the inside where the wolves dressed up and clothes

  58. like sheep, trying to steal, trying to kill and destroy. And he

  59. warns, and he's seeing it already that there are a lot of teachers who

  60. say that they know the Lord. I know God. I come from Rome,

  61. I come from Greek. I know Socrates, I know Plato, I

  62. know the philosophers. I know God. Oh I am a Jew, I'm

  63. a true born jew raised under under a Jewish roof. I know, I

  64. know, I never mixed by blood. I know God. So different people

  65. within the church were claiming that they know God. But yeah, Peter highlights

  66. out that a lot of these people who say they know God, they don't

  67. bear the fruits of it. And he highlights three key problems or just very

  68. quickly highlight it so that you guys remember. And one of that is that

  69. there was a teaching that says that they don't believe that Jesus was the son

  70. of God or Jesus was the Messiah. They believe that actually that the disciples

  71. made his own up. And today we're going to be covering that point and

  72. how Peter rebuilds that. Okay, the second point or second false teaching that

  73. was happening was that the people do not believe that there is a judgment coming,

  74. that the Lord, that the day of the Lord is not coming.

  75. They say that keep talking about the day of the Lord from the Old Testament

  76. until now Jesus say that the Lord is coming like a thief. But where

  77. is it? Where is it? And then they took the writings of Paul.

  78. You know, especially I think it's a second first Testlonian and second to

  79. Solonians, and then said, you know, they took the writings of Paul

  80. which talked about the rapture and said that the day of the Lord already came.

  81. You guys missed it, and you missed a resurrection, and so people

  82. were confused, people were fearful, and people, some of them who were

  83. corrupted, use this opportunity to leave a godly life and started to pursue the

  84. world. You get me in, right, since we missed the boat already,

  85. might so I just leave the best jocana. You know what, what's

  86. the phrase nowadays? A leaf light? Ones? Is it? You only

  87. live ones ah on yolo okay? So they basically yolo la Christians, let's

  88. go yolo okay. He came in right. It was no Jesus already no

  89. not coming religious leave you just do whatever you want. You see, all

  90. these teachings are come and circle around with a different packaging. You it's always

  91. a different it's always the same. It's the same, but it's a different

  92. packaging. The yolo okay. And then the third one was there, you

  93. know, since that Jesus has not forgiven us and we have freedom, like

  94. Paul teach let us. You know, we don't have any more consequences.

  95. We don't have to deal with consequences because grace is so powerful. Don't teach

  96. me or preach to meet anything else but grace. Grace is enough. So

  97. whatever that I do, you have no right to tell me that I'm wrong.

  98. I don't need to bear fruits. And so I told you i'd share

  99. with you. Guys. You know that Peter says that you know, no

  100. being safe. It's just the first part. But we are called to bear

  101. much fruit, and there are seven fruits. I'm not going to go through

  102. all of them, but all the way it starts from, you know,

  103. from your virtue, all the way to love, which is the demonstration of

  104. God. Okay, so now I'm gonna start beginning in chapter one again,

  105. but I'm gonna continue from verse twelve, okay, and I will share with

  106. you guys a few more points here. Okay, let's look at second Peter,

  107. Chapter one, verse twelve, and I think the slight Yes, Okay,

  108. now it's going to read from here now. For this reason, I

  109. will not be negligent to remind you always or these things, though you know

  110. and are established in the present truth. Okay. This is what Peter is.

  111. He feels the responsibility to remind them, to teach them while he is

  112. still around. Now, yes, I think it is right as long as

  113. I am in this tent. Okay. This is the key word that we

  114. will be looking and seeing, repeating again and the next lot of this in

  115. the remaining of this chapter. The word tent to stir you up by reminding

  116. you, knowing that shortly I must put off my tent. He's talking about

  117. this ten, this body that every one of us here wherever you are living

  118. right now, in your this body, you're living in a tent. There

  119. is no permanent address. Okay, all this is just permanent. Okay,

  120. it's a tent. Okay. Now, just as our Lord Jesus Christ showed

  121. me moreover, I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder

  122. of these things after my disease. Okay. So Peter knows that he is

  123. dying, okay, and he knows that he needs to remind them and to

  124. ensure that they will still remember after he's passing. Now let's move on,

  125. okay, Christ Glory and the prophetic world. Okay, remember the first point

  126. I talk to you about that. They don't believe a lot they are teachings.

  127. They were basically small groups within the church. Okay, literally small groups

  128. within the church. Okay. They were not following the home notes. How

  129. mean you'll go to homes? Okay, try to imagine with me that they

  130. were not following the home notes. They started to have their own lead to

  131. study. Okay, they start to have their own lead to study. They

  132. start to draw from Paul's letter and start to draw for money, and they

  133. start that they have their own lead to study, and they start to have

  134. their own later interpretation. Actually it's covered inside there. They started to interpret

  135. the scripture on their own and they didn't share. They at what they interpreted

  136. with the rest of the church to whether to chat whether it's right or wrong.

  137. They don't. They there was a leader and there will influential people who

  138. did it, and they influence people and start the people. You know,

  139. if you look at I can look at you guys, but then you guys

  140. who have like different thoughts, you can smile, we can laugh, We

  141. can say the same word, but we have a different dictionary. And after

  142. that, after churching, you were to say, how come these group of

  143. people are behaving one certain way, and then another group of people behaving a

  144. certain way. How come you know, we are trying to do communion,

  145. baptizing and live in simplicity, but these people are like trying to like,

  146. you know, engage in business and you know, selling you know all these

  147. funny funny staff you're not trying to sell money, and members shoot to certain

  148. things as well. It's kind of weird, you know, you get me

  149. in right and indulging in very earthly and last full practices. You know,

  150. people were like why and then they still do it, continue doing it,

  151. okay. And one of the things they were that they were they were arguing

  152. about. They said that we don't really believe in Peter because she's just a

  153. man. I think I can teach better. No, I can teach better.

  154. No, I think Peter and the disciples and the Apostle probably made it

  155. up. So this is where Peter steps in and intervenes and you know,

  156. provides his teaching to guard the believers. And he says, therefore, we

  157. did not follow cleverly devised Smith. Okay, they did not collue, They

  158. did not try to. Hey, let's go and roll this one ton of

  159. stone away, taking Jesus body and fight against a troop of Roman soldiers.

  160. Now take Jesus body, healed it, somehow restored, and then put him

  161. to France. There and he leaves as a quiet old man for the rest

  162. of his life. Okay. So every now and then you will have people

  163. who will write that out of fiction. So there to stir people up as

  164. well. Okay. When we made known to you the power and the coming

  165. of our Lord Jesus Christ, Okay, first of all, he said,

  166. we did not devised it. But he said, we did not devised it.

  167. But we were eye witnesses. Okay, we say, and we give

  168. you an account because we were eye witnesses of his majesty. Okay, Peter

  169. saying that I am not devising, I'm just a witness for when he received,

  170. meaning Jesus receive honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice

  171. was born to him by the majestic glory. He's saying that the honor.

  172. Okay, we did not crown Jesus, We did not give Jesus the title.

  173. Okay, as the Christ. You cannot you cannot go to a company

  174. that you want to work with and say that you will be CEO. It

  175. doesn't make sense. You are being employed. You get me in right,

  176. you're being ployed. You don't go to and say I make you see.

  177. Oh no, we saw the CEO got promoted by whom, by the shareholders

  178. or by the director. It is coming from a higher authority. We just

  179. witness only you get me that we were just witnesses. Okay. And what

  180. was the inauguration? Then what was being said? The saying was and the

  181. statement they came from God the Father was this is my beloved son, with

  182. whom I am well please, And Peter says, we ourselves hurt this very

  183. boys born from heaven, for we were with him on the Holy Mountain.

  184. Okay, So this is not talking about Jesus being baptized and when he came

  185. up from the baptism and there was that came upon him. This is my

  186. son who am whom I'm well piece. He's not talking about that. Peter

  187. was referring to one specific instance, and that is why we called on the

  188. transfiguration. Now we're going to cover that a bit in a bit while.

  189. Now. Then the next thing that he says that in verse nineteen, and

  190. we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed to which he will do well to

  191. pay attention. Has to a lamb shining in a dark place until the day

  192. dawns and the morning star rises in your heart. Okay. And Peter says

  193. that at first we have the testimony, okay, we have the declaration,

  194. the witness of our heavenly Father. And secondly we have the witness of the

  195. prophetic word. Okay, we know that Jesus is the Christ because we have

  196. the prophetic word, and the prophetic world has a power to be a lamp

  197. shining in a dark place, so that when you and in a surrounded by

  198. people who will doubt who was scoff? Who will ridicule you? Who Jesus

  199. ms, you will have to fall back on the one on the prophetic word.

  200. And when you fall back to it, the prophetic word will not fail

  201. you, but it would be a lamb onto your feet. And in verse

  202. twenty, ah, I told you about people having small groups, right,

  203. he says, Yah, knowing this, First of all, there no prophecy

  204. of scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. Ah, what were they doing?

  205. They were interpreting on their own. First of all, prophecy was not given

  206. by these small groups. You know it was given by the Lord. Anything

  207. that is given by the Lord in public. If God, God chooses to

  208. reveal and not to reveal, God chooses whom he wants to propheside prophecide,

  209. and if he makes known the prophecy, any interpretation must be made in the

  210. public as well. In verse when he one says, for no prophecy was

  211. ever produced by the will of men, but men spoke from God as they

  212. were carried along by the Holy Spirit. Okay, now there's a lot of

  213. things here. I'm uncovering these, like a class and theology over here.

  214. How are you guys doing on case of far? Are you guys confused of

  215. Far? That's why I need this light, isn't it. Now Let's go

  216. to the next light that I have here. Okay, So today we're gonna

  217. know it's just treat treatment key points the identity and the glory of Christ reviewed

  218. through witnesses, So Peter, So today we'll deal with problem number one on

  219. eat number one. Okay, enough Friday, and that is people don't believe

  220. that Jesus is the son of God. That the apostles made it up and

  221. saw Peter in his you know, he knows his time is um. He

  222. gives the three main defense and witness and he says that we know that Jesus

  223. is the son of God. Jesus is Christ, he is the Savior,

  224. he is the king because there were witnesses, and the witnesses are Peter himself

  225. and the apostles. What's God the father? And then the third one we

  226. have the Holy Scripture. Okay, may people come to you say, hey,

  227. do you know who? Who? Who? Who is Jesus to you?

  228. And you say that, oh, Jesus is God? And people say,

  229. how do you know? And what do you say? Or because my

  230. heart tells me that's not good enough. People, that's not good enough,

  231. you say, the Bible says so how so what's so special about the Bible?

  232. The Bible is just a law of writing. Shakespeare writes better English.

  233. What's the difference between the Bible and every other book? How do you even

  234. know that you can trust the Bible? Holy? Someone comes to you,

  235. hey, but other religions also go book. You know some some something you

  236. know it's People will say a lot of things you know, and then if

  237. you're not sure, you say, hey, make people you don't even know

  238. what you believe? In. You're mostly believing because you believe what you just

  239. taught and you never question it, you never asked it. You never know

  240. what you really believed in. How many of you had that fear before?

  241. So quiet you don't really know what you're no believing in. Oh maybe then

  242. there's a case pastor might see preaching about. Then you start to go into

  243. this, this this path. I was like, Wow, I don't even

  244. know. I need to re examine my life again. You know, maybe

  245. the truth is out there and stuff like that. People, you must know

  246. your Bible. No, not just that the Bible. The Bible is very,

  247. very powerful and divine. There is no book in the world, no

  248. word in the world like the Bible. I will share with you later in

  249. a ray shot. While okay, but first of all, let's deal with

  250. the witness Okay, let's deal with the witnessing. Okay, let me see

  251. Okay, turn with me to Matthew chapter sixteen. Okay, we're gonna talk

  252. about the witnesses of the disciples and of God came because Peter talks about he's

  253. witnessing. Okay, that happened in the transfiguration, and the transfiguration happened in

  254. Matthew chapter seventeen. But then why is it that I'm not turning to Matthew

  255. chapter seventeen. I'm turning to Matthew sixteen. So again, this is one

  256. of the ways that we normally help people to understand the scripture better. If

  257. you read a scripture and you kind of understand fifty percent of it, or

  258. if you don't really fully understand, what I normally encourage people is that you

  259. read the chapter before, or even sometime two chapters before, and then read

  260. the chapter after. Read. You're saying you must always read because there is

  261. a sequence, there is a line, and I'll give you and this is

  262. an example how reading the previous chapter help you to understand Matthew seventeen in a

  263. lot better. Okay, cool or not. So next time when you do

  264. your own Bible study or your own reading, you will know how to approach

  265. a scripture a passage as well. Okay, Now, before, like I

  266. said, the main focus is Matthew seventeen. Now we're going to look at

  267. Matthew sixteen, the one before, and understand a bit of context in Matthew

  268. sixteen. Here, I'm not going to go through the older verses. You

  269. can see in your Bible that there's a few titles and a few stories being

  270. planted there. The first one we see is that the Pharisees and the Saducees.

  271. Saducees demand signs? What will they demand signs? Because Jesus was actually

  272. performing a law of great and mighty works, and people will say they,

  273. hey, Jesus, why don't you show us a sign? They make it

  274. very clear that you are the son of God. Make it so clear that

  275. you are the son of God. And what did Jesus respond to them?

  276. I will not do I will not comply to you. Why should I do

  277. that? I tell you, I may ask you a question. If Jesus

  278. was here, what will people ask from him right now in this world,

  279. not in the church, in this world and all the reporters MSNBCCN, M.

  280. Buritakini and all the then name Jesus is here, what do you think

  281. they will ask him to do? Show was a sign? Right? Show

  282. was a sign? Show what that you're really God? Let me ask you

  283. to then ask what sign would be enough? Open up the sky now,

  284. travel back in time and you're really God? Let me ask you another question.

  285. Do you think that they will change people as heart. Why not,

  286. because it's not a problem of signs. Because the more moment you know there

  287. is a God, you cannot live your life the same way again, gaming

  288. right. To acknowledge God is to give up your freedom. Who will give

  289. up their freedom to do what they want to do? People will not do

  290. that. People ready high the gaming right. Adam and Eve were in the

  291. garden with God. God must in the midst creation was everywhere, beauty splendid,

  292. God's glory. And Adam was not a foolish man or not. You

  293. know, he didn't go to university, he didn't went to primary school.

  294. Asked, but he was able to name all the animals. You know,

  295. he is not an uneducated man, and now he is well educated under the

  296. tutoring of the Lord and all but yea, of all these things. When

  297. he saw the Lord, what did he do? He hied? I tell

  298. you, when God comes, we're not sure any signs. Man will not

  299. want to see it. You know why, because they do not want the

  300. truth, not because it's not because not because the sign is not powerful now

  301. And in the same case, why happens that Jesus will not give them a

  302. single sign because they will never want to see it, and no matter what

  303. he does, they will reject him. There's a case why should I continue

  304. showing all these signs to you. It's only to entertain you to fall under,

  305. to fall under their whims and there place, So Jesus, do not

  306. do that. Instead, if you look at the next chapter, this is

  307. the famous part we talk about. You know, when Jesus asked Peter,

  308. hey, what do people say? I am? And some people will say

  309. that. Some people say that you were Elijah, some people say that you

  310. are the Moses, you are a prophet, you are a great teacher.

  311. But Jesus asked Peter, but who do you say? I am? And

  312. Peter gave this great reply, I do not need the signs like now the

  313. signs we've worked with you. I have seen it. You are the Christ

  314. or God, the right answer, the best student ever. Oh yes,

  315. and Peter like, whoa I did? You will realize that his moment and

  316. glory was very short lived, as indicated by my slides here. Okay,

  317. he's even and then Jesus, you know, commended him and say that flesh

  318. and blood they not they not reveal this to you, But my father in

  319. Heaven, who revealed this to you. Okay, his father, Father.

  320. It is God's mercy that opened his eyes and his heart that he is able

  321. to see. So to no God, no one can come to the Father

  322. except through Jesus. You you cannot know Jesus unless the Father opens your eyes.

  323. One no, it isto by the mercy of God. You and I

  324. got safe, not because we are holier, we were kinder, we were

  325. smarter. We are all safe by only only by the mercy of God.

  326. You have been right. You're not saying he was saying, not because a

  327. worship song. A worship guy Pare plays a song here. No, I

  328. know there are circumstances, but you must understand all things work together because it

  329. is God who works them, not you. Not because of the world.

  330. It is God himself. It's God mercy. Peter confesses Jesus as Christ.

  331. He got an answer, correct, And in the next paragraph, what do

  332. we see? Okay, you got you got the identity right now. Let

  333. me tell you. Now you know who I am. Now I'm going to

  334. tell you for the first time. Jesus tells them what is going to happen

  335. to him? Okay? He tells about his death and he's suffering and then

  336. they're gonna deliver him to be to that, to torture him and to him

  337. and to crucify him. Okay, now, what do you think Peter will

  338. feel the moment Jesus tells him that I thought that you would the Messiah,

  339. thought that you're going to save us. But yet now you tell me that

  340. you're going to die immediately. So what did Peter do? Peter took Jesus

  341. aside and started rebuking Jesus. You know this is the guy, just like

  342. I'm saying. The same day, just moments ago, while saying you are

  343. the Messiah, he was celebrating Jesus as the Messiah. And now after that,

  344. immediately to Jesus, hey, you shouldn't talk like that. That is

  345. not befitting of you. Don't say things like that. It doesn't just affect

  346. you, it affects us. We follow you as well. Do you know

  347. what I mean? Right? We follow you are the Messiah. Don't don't

  348. say things like that. You shouldn't be good. This is not befitting of

  349. the glory of a Messiah. And Jesus looks at him. Get behind me,

  350. Satan. Oh. In the same day, you testify Jesus as Christ.

  351. But you get you get rebuked that you are now Satan. Get behind

  352. me. You know all happened in the same day. Now this is kind

  353. of interesting, isn't it. Peter knows the identity, but he gets rebuilt.

  354. So something is wrong or not complete in Peter's understanding or who Christ is

  355. makes sense or not. He knows who Christ is, but somehow this understanding

  356. is not complete, you know, God, But yet it is not.

  357. It cannot wield it, you cannot use it, you cannot understand it,

  358. you cannot live a life based on it. You can mean it is not

  359. enough yet for you to build a church on it, not enough for Peter

  360. to you to remember and then to be able to lead the church. And

  361. so that's where when you go into verse seventeen, this is where the exciting

  362. part happens. So we know all these things happened. Really, Then when

  363. verse seventeen, he says, there six days after that, Jesus reading in

  364. the scripture here and Jesus to Peter, James and John his brother, and

  365. let them up on a high mountain by themselves, and Jesus was transfigured before

  366. them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white

  367. as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with

  368. him. Then Peter answered and said, to Jesus, Lord, it is

  369. good for us to be here. If you wish, let us make here

  370. three tabernacles, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

  371. Okay, let's pause there for a while. Why did Peter want to

  372. build three tabernacles for them? What are tabernacles tense? What did peters?

  373. What do we cover earlier? The world tense? Okay? These are for

  374. tense? Now before I sorry, Actually there's one part I want to cover

  375. first. First of all, we know that James, John and Peter okay

  376. with m and when they get up this Jesus was tryingsfigured two key persons showed

  377. up. One was Moses and one was Elijah. What did Moses Elijah represented?

  378. Why Moses in Elijah? Why can't be Abraham? What can be a

  379. Jeremiah? Moses appeared because he represented the law. God gave men two very

  380. very powerful things in the Old Testament for us to leave, for us to

  381. know that God is in control and for us to know who the Christ is.

  382. Two key things. The first was the law, and law came through

  383. Moses. Okay, the law came from Moses. God saved the people from

  384. Egypt. He say thing, he brought them to the mountain. You are

  385. my people, and my people they have law. The first thing he came

  386. down, he gave them the law. Saw Moses represent that the law,

  387. okay, and Elijah represented one. This is very important when you know when

  388. you every time you have the Bible, it is both Moses and Elijah inside

  389. there. It is the law, and Elijah represents the prophetic word, not

  390. just the normal word, but the prophetic word. You understand why I'm saying.

  391. So your Bible is not just the law where people know me just look

  392. at it as the law. But your Bible is also the prophetic word of

  393. God. Your man sends what I'm saying here. Jesus stands in the middle

  394. and greater than Moses and Elijah. He fulfills both the commandment, the written

  395. word and the prophetic word of God. You're the same. I'm saying.

  396. So now you know Christ as who it is, and you are sure of

  397. it because the world has come in its fullness of flesh. Greater than Elijah,

  398. greater than Moses, but Peter did not understand and fully comprehend what he

  399. So, you know, saying what I'm saying here. When you read the

  400. Bible, you don't realize that did Most of the time we just read a

  401. scripture. It's just a word, it's just a teaching. But did you

  402. realize that the word is prophetic? That is why the Bible is so unique

  403. compared to any other word. It's not that it's a law. Everybody can

  404. write law, but no one can make it prophetic. Every prophecy must be

  405. fulfilled, ye I mean right, not by events, not by a man.

  406. Ye I mean right. Jesus is the combination fulfillment of everything. He

  407. was greater. And so Peter did not understand it. He's like, oh,

  408. Moses, hey, they're harry a party. Come you know. And

  409. they were, because I don't have much time here, they were actually celebrating

  410. a feast at that time. They celebrating the Feast of the Tabernacle. Game

  411. the Feast of the Tabernacle is on the seventh feast that the Jewish people were

  412. celebrating. Okay, and I can give a picture, maybe you can go

  413. to the I think the next line. So they're having a feast, and

  414. then normally if you have a house or lender house, they will literally set

  415. up a booth outside there. Okay, celebrating a booth outside there. People

  416. will do celebration there. Okay, And we can go to the next line.

  417. So there are seven feasts that the Jewish people celebrate all the way from

  418. the Passover to the unleven Bread, the first Fruits, the Penticos, the

  419. trumpers, Day of Tomon, and the Tabernacles as well. Tabernacus is the

  420. last one. Okay. Actually, if you want to teach on this,

  421. actually, yeah, the first four has already been fulfilled by God. The

  422. third one is coming by anyway. Actually, Highday is a mystery for now.

  423. You're very very fascinating. You know in a day of Pentecost that the

  424. day means fifty days. You know, pens means pentagon fifty days. Okay,

  425. when Moses, when they all celebrate the fifty days, the people were

  426. building the golden calf, isn't it? People die, But in the Book

  427. of Ants they are painted costs came, right, people instead of dying,

  428. they were say, the Holy Spirit came. So there is sort of like

  429. a small scale celebration and the God's scale celebration of the feast. Okay,

  430. so all four has been for field ready Jesus as the passover eleven bed first

  431. fruits all for field ready. The Holy Spirit came and now we're entering phase

  432. number two right now, the trumpets, the day of a Talman, and

  433. the tabernacle. Okay, So now why do I why why do I talk

  434. about this? Because Pete they were celebrating the feast of tabernacles, and he

  435. saw Moses, Elijah, Ah and Jesus there come let us make tabernacles.

  436. Now this is very important. But I'm not sure whether you remember, but

  437. I think if he's not mistaken, is in John chapter sixteen were then they

  438. go into it? There was John said the sixty or six Camember, the

  439. Jewish people were going to celebrate the fast of taber Eckles, and the brothers

  440. of Jesus were saying that, hey, why don't you go and celebrate repast

  441. as well, the feast of taben Ecles, and then you go and perform

  442. all your miracles I'm paraphrasing here, by the way, Ah, and then

  443. when you and then you perform miracles there because no profet and no great,

  444. no people and a great prophets. I should do things that you know and

  445. then hide it and not let let people know. But they were basically basically

  446. mocking him. Okay, so no, sometimes the worst mocks comes from your

  447. own family when they don't believe it all works. So Jesus said, I

  448. know I will not go because my time has not yet come. It's kind

  449. of funnier because people were celebrating the feast of taban Eckles to celebrate God.

  450. No Jesus saying my time has not yet come. Because Jesus was not going

  451. to celebrate. He's going to be celebrated. He will be the one day

  452. will actually worship him. You gave me right. It's kind of funny,

  453. you know. And so when Peter he tried to build three tabernecles for for

  454. both, for all three of them, right, what happened? What did

  455. we see happen? Go back to their verse five, and while verse fight,

  456. he says, well, he was still speaking, Behold a bright cloud

  457. overshadowed them, and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying,

  458. this is my beloved son, in whom I'm well pleased. Hear him chas

  459. at that time before he Peter go and do something silly that he didn't know

  460. what he was doing. He didn't understand. The Father intervened and declare,

  461. this is my beloved son, in whom I am well piaced. And when

  462. the disciples heardly, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. But

  463. Jesus came and touched them and said, arise and don't be afraid. And

  464. when they lift up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus. Only.

  465. Why did the Father intervened, Why they got intervened. The reason God

  466. intervened was to show, was to let Peter and the disciples know as witnesses

  467. that Jesus are not It's not just mere humans or teachers. That Jesus is

  468. greater. Not by what people say, not by the pharisees seduces, not

  469. by what Peter says, but God. The Father himself declared that Jesus is

  470. the son of God. He get me in right. That is why you

  471. cannot build a tabernacer for him. He's not human. He is not to

  472. celebrate people. No, God, he is to be celebrated. You cannot

  473. be a tabernacer for him. He get in right. So this is a

  474. very clear passage that when we are when when we read it, we understand

  475. that Jesus, okay, is the son of God. Okay, it's not

  476. a it's not a myth. So the disciples world witnesses God, the father

  477. world witnesses that Jesus is the son of God. Third witness that Jesus is

  478. the son of God. Is the Messiah. Is the prophetic Word. As

  479. I draw to a close here, now, well, like I say again,

  480. you know, how do you know that Jesus is the son of God?

  481. How do you know that you have eternal life? How can you trust

  482. the Bible? You must understand again the Scripture is both the law and the

  483. prophetic word. Okay. And Peter says here that the prophetic world is a

  484. light and a lamb onto your feet. It's not the world, but it's

  485. more like a lamb onto your life. In times of toughness, when you

  486. fall from when you, when you when you, when you lean on it,

  487. when you fall onto equal provide you with guidance. It will provide you

  488. with Shooty. Now, when we are discouraged, we will know how prophecies

  489. have been fulfilled. When you doubt the word of God, when you don't

  490. like, well, why am I learning? Why am I reading? Is

  491. the Bible better? You will know that the Bible has prophecies. Now,

  492. the Bible doesn't just have any prophecies. The Bible has prophecies about who the

  493. crisis. Okay, do you know how many Bible prophecies are there about who

  494. the Son of God is? Anybody want to guess? Five two hundred.

  495. There are three hundred and twenty four prophecies regarding the Messiah from the Old Testament,

  496. and she more all away from the Old Testament. Okay, three hundred

  497. and twenty four. Now let's put it in a bit more contacts. Okay,

  498. what are the chances are in the world of fulfilling just eight prophecies out

  499. of the twenty four? Okay, because a lot of people, Musa,

  500. I must understand at that time, a lot of people will say that I

  501. come from God. I think I know how to interpret the Bible. I

  502. know at the right teaching, I know the way. A lot of people

  503. will come in force pretense. Okay, this is before Jesus time, saying

  504. they know a lot of things. So the Bible has to least down a

  505. lot of requirements. You need to be born, you know, first of

  506. all, you need to be born by a virgin mother. How to do

  507. that without the technology? Or by the way, before you were born or

  508. so, you need to know how you die. You need to know exactly

  509. how you die. And after you die you must be raised from the dead.

  510. How to arrange that? Oh, by the way, you're you need

  511. to come from a certain david lyone. Okay, ah, yeah. By

  512. the way, Oh, by the way, you need to perform a lot

  513. of miracles as well. You need to be able to heal the lame the

  514. mule, you know, people who are possessed with demon but cannot speak,

  515. you know. Oh, by the way, Oh, by the way,

  516. when you're crucified, by the way, I forgot to tell you, you'll

  517. be tortured. You know. By the way, you need to be stepped

  518. on the left. I think it rights out of left side already, you

  519. know. Okay, putting that assigne just for feeling aid of that? What

  520. are the chances for feeling that? Imagine the whole entire earth, okay,

  521. whole entire earth. And we are all construction workers and we try to tile

  522. game. We tied to lay town from here from XPJ all the way around

  523. the world to the north pole or the supple to the US, and come

  524. back here with tiles the size of one inch tiles like the size of my

  525. thumb. Hey, the size of my thumb. We tile the whole entire

  526. earth is tile with one inch tiles. Okay? And then there is an

  527. alien. Sorry, no the alien yet before the alien part yet? And

  528. then I will ask Jess all the earth, all the tiles there. I

  529. want you to open up one tile underneath, and I want you to put

  530. a special coin inside there. I want you to cover that tile, okay.

  531. And then after that the alien comes. This alien come from millions of

  532. millions of miles away, coming to earth. He has one chance to open

  533. up one tile of open it and that how reveals that coin. There is

  534. the chance that you'll be able to fit and meet it requirements. Only so

  535. is it still very possible. The reason why prophecy was given was that so

  536. that you and I will know and bear witness that the word of God is

  537. unlike any word of God. And not only the word of God is so

  538. unique, is so profound. It's only can come of God. The person

  539. who fulfills the world is no mere human. As well, you get him,

  540. saying both the word of God is divine and the person fulfilling it is

  541. divine. You came in right. So when we read the Bible, we

  542. must appreciate it is divine, but reading the world is one thing. After

  543. this, we respond to the one who is divine, Amen, the one

  544. who is divine, and we know sure and sure God is true. Amen.
