will light up your team today. The message is titled walk by Faith and

Not by Sight. Okay, walk by Faith and not by Sight. And

my subtitle says how we should be living for Christ. Okay. I hope

that you guys can catch something. I think God has even stirred my own

heart. Uh, you know, on different things, and you know also

reveal different things to me, thankfully. And I've be privileged or bringing His

word today to you and you can turn to second Quarnthians five. Okay,

we're gonna do a Bible turning this morning because at the end of the day,

the people of the Lord will need to know his word. Amen,

and you need to know where to look for his word, you know.

And I want to let your practice. Okay, I don't know how much

you'll do it. I'm not gonna judge anybody here. And it's not just

like, oh, you didn't do it at home, and also we do

it, but I feel like, hey, Danny's be more tools in your

hands. You know, we have a lot of tools. We've got chat,

GBT, We've got all these tools that we can use but how about

God's word? You know, and just now I know I shared, Um,

you know, I really feel this sense of like I think, uh,

well not just I think, but I really observe and and see that

the church really needs to get comfortable with the Holy Spirit. And we're gonna

talk a little bit about him in this morning, but let me just get

a few minutes just to explain, um this thought. You know, if

you look around you and if you look at the trends right now of christian

them and all, uh, it is always about the word, well,

the words in the message. Okay, sometimes the message or no word or

so I know sounds some pictures or use scripture quite scary. La Okay,

sounds good, but very scary. Um and and and and we have a

lot of focus on a lot of things, experience, worship, songs,

all these things, you know. Um, but I'm really having this sense

that, especially for XPJ, I want to encourage all of you that we

need to really go back to the Holy Spirit. Your catchpa, we really

need to go back to the move of the Holy Spirit, because that's where

that's what happened in the church. Then so we got so you say,

to get back into that. We need to be comfortable with that. We

need to be comfortable with praying tongues, you know, we need to be

comfortable in in in in some of these things that happen. You know,

some people say, oh, goose bombslah and all the Oh, this is

all mumbo jumbo, and this is all spiritual. I don't want to touch

it. Guys, Holy Spirit is here, and we're gonna learn a little

bit bout him to they learn learn together. Okay, how important the Holy

Spirit is in our lives, you know, how much we should actually engage

him, how much we should actually not just acknowledge, but also recognize that

he is. He is here, you know, he's right quiet, and

he's hanging out at the side, and and and and when we do that,

I think as we believe us, we will be able to function as

believe us, you know, because prior to this is all about our own

strength. Let's do things our own way, Let's do things because our give

things. It's time that we rely on the Holy Spirit. And man,

it's time that we rely on God. Amen. Amen. So let's go

into it and let's see where this goes. So Second Corinthians, Second Corinthians,

chapter five. That's where the scripture is coming from. Okay, I'm

don't have a Bible and you are new here and you're not believing yet,

or maybe you don't have a physical Bible, it's okay. You can not

someone by your side and say I don't have what can you share with me?

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent is destroyed, we

have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eterning in

the heavens. So many of you know that Paul is not talking about earthly

houses in where you stay right now. He's talking about our body. Okay,

our body, Okay, follow me out, for in this we groan

earnestly, desiring to be clothed with our habitation with this heaven. Wow,

so flowery the language. Okay, I don't I may not have time to

go to nalty, but anerty makes it a little bit clearer, or you

know ESV or any other version that's baby bit clearer so you can turn to

that as well, if you have a digital Bible. Right, we've grown

earnestly desiring mins miss we in our flesh. For those overs who are believers,

there's this constant yearning to go to heaven. Okay, don't go heaven.

interesting that I found out recently. Yesterday, I was having a dinner with

you know, a lovely family, and I found out that someone I know

quite close is very smart. And then I made this, you know,

and I noticed something. You know, I noticed this thing, this trend

in PJ A lot very smart people here. No, I'm not joking,

you know, like a yeah, yeah, the ones that say praised a

lot. So he's also quite smart. On I found out during his college

days he was so stressed out. Okay, I tell this story. He

was so stressed out right there he would lose his scholarship. And then I

actually got the wisdom to ask him, actually, how much do you get

down there? He's like, oh, you know, my last time I

got all a plants, but now I got one a my nurse. I

don't want to talk to you, lah, bro, you know, I

don't want to talk to you. So I realized that God has blessed our

we established God's kingdom permanently. That is a significance of it. So we

are living in a ten right now. Guys. It's not going to be

permanent. Your house it's not gonna be permanent. Your career, it's not

going to be permanent. Right, Your money and your bad account is not

not going to be permanent. So so big words. Do you know that

or not? It's not going to be permanent. We work so hard for

it, but it's not going to be permanent. What is going to be

permanent? God has a house for us which is more permanent, and that

is eternal life. Are you catching that? Are you catching that? What

are we living for? What are we living for? A lot of things

we are living for. It's not permanent, It won't last long, it

can go, you can lose it. One is fleeting. What are we

living for? This is our consolation confidence? Okay? Second Corinthians five five,

Sorry, Second Arrange five five says now he who has prepared for us

this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a

guarantee. We have the Holy Spirit as a guarantee for our salvation and for

our continual perfection in Christ as we walk this earth that is not permanent?

day. It is the Spirit. So let's study it a little bit.

Who is the Holy Spirit? I talk about walking by faith and not by

That's what we need to do amen, So let's unpack this a little

bit. The Holy Spirit right in the in the King James version, they

used to term the Holy Ghost. Right when the Holy Ghost has come upon

we ask out else, why are things so messed up? Is because sometimes

things that are secred we mess with it. Things are secret. Are the

people mess with it? That's why we are in so much trouble. Things

that are sacred should stay sacred. You know what. I think it's secret

here the worship team, worship team here in my heart? Do you know

that you are when you're here inviting God's presence here? Your life are should

be clean? You know? Because if that doesn't happen, I can just

not expect God to remove. Sorry for being very direct, but that's the

truth. It will be the form, but no power, because we don't

know how to keep our lives sacred pure. There are things that are sacred

that we should keep sacred. Friends, hear me in this, don't mess

with the secret. Don't mess with the secret. We mess with the secret,

and then later we ask ourselves, why like that, Why like that

that we've been messing with the secret. You've been doing with things that you

shouldn't be doing. God has said certain things in order already, you know,

God will answer you. And when you answer you and say, deal with

this? Is this? Please go and do with it? Amen, because

God will. When you ask if he will talk, do you want to

know? He will let you know. Sacred hug yours most holy thing.

Father and the Son, the disposition or influence with feels and governs the soul

Guys? Spirit is important, not just the practice, not just the

attitude. No spirit. Are we having the right spirit? It's not just

the method, it's not just how you do it, but it's the spirit

in you. It's the spirit of the Lord in you or are we still

arguing about what we dress on Sunday? What is the spirit of the Lord.

Do you know one value that we really believe you an X always give

God your best? It is the spirit that we believe it in that and

how you express its entirely up to you. There's no judgment. Entirely up

to you. How do you give God your best? Are you giving God

your best? It is the spirit that's important. It's never about the method.

It's now about what color should I wear on Sunday? Is never about

that. But we argue about all these things. We make noise of all

these things, we start counting. Don't do that. Let the Spirit guide

you, amen, Let the spirit guide you. The Holy Spirit, you

know. And I just sort to give you this example as well, just

more for awareness and understanding. Numa is also sometimes in the Bible referred to

as the movement of air, a gentle blast, the wind of the spirit,

all these terms that the speaker like to use all these Christians, the

wind of the Spirit, the wind itself, the breath of God, the

Holy Spirit. Friends, this morning, I want to introduce to you the

Holy Spirit. If you heard about him, if you've maybe some of you

have engaged him. Maybe you don't fully know. I pray after today you

will understand the Holy Spirit, and I pray that you will listen more to

the Holy Spirit than other people. I hope that you will listen more Holy

Spirit at me. You know? Do you know that I read it?

doesn't matter. You can engage the Holy Spirit. And do you know that

he will guide you? He will guide you. He will friends hear me

out? Are you here? Are you here? Do we need to recognize

the Holy Spirit in our life. I stand on this answer that says that

says, yes, we do. We need to recognize him. And let

me tell you why. Firstly, he is our helper John fifteen, verse

twenty six to twenty seven. John fifteen, verse twenty six to twenty seven

says, But when the helper comes, whom I shall send to you from

the Father, the Spirit of Truth. He is a spirit of truth,

spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father. He will testify of me,

and you also will bear witness because you have been with me from the beginning.

John fourteen sixteen says, And our pray the Father, and he will

give you another helper, the Holy Spirit, Amen, that he may abide

with you forever. God has given us the Holy Spirit. Jesus has given

us the Holy Spirit that is witten us forever, the Spirit of Truth.

Again, why, the Spirit of Truth. I give you a bit of

revelation after this, whom the world cannot receive. Do you know that the

world cannot receive the Holy Spirit? They reject him. They don't understand.

Oh, what's this Christian mambo jumbo? While you're speaking all this weird language.

I had this fake, fake one. They cannot receive him because they

don't understand. But we can receive him. If you call upon the name

of the Lord and you are safe, you should be able to receive the

Holy Spirit. I don't know who or what have been talking to you before

this, but this is God's whether it's not Pastelvin, the Spirit of Truth,

whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him or knows him.

But you know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

I share with you this story that I heard yesterday while having dinner.

I was talking to this person and this person I was saying, I'm like,

oh, how do you receive Christ? You know, because prior to

that you're ready in the faith sort of, you know. And the person

said, I went for worship and the song played and I didn't understand why,

but I was crying all the way Holy Spirit. Then the other person

another one chat, that's this one song that keep playing, Jesus You're my

film foundation, super old school. I think I got the right song because

his person is a very young person, you know, Jesus You're my film

foundation. I'm thinking that it's that song, I'm thinking, apparently it's not

okay, and they am I um, but I felt connected to the song,

not doing What is that? Holy Spirit? It's not the song,

guys, It's not about a song. It's the Holy Spirit working in our

lives, revealing things in our lives. Amen. That's the Holy Spirit for

us. He dwells with you, and we'll be with you. That is

the consolation we have. Friends. If you'll be living all this life as

a believer and you'll never engage the Holy Spirit enough, my crashman, please

engage him today. And when I say engage him, it's not about all

speaking to Please talk to him. Holy Spirit? Are you there? Can

you lead me? Can you do that? Do that? What is helper?

When the Bible says he is your helper? I hope I pronounce this

correct correctly. In Greek is parak parakt lathos okay parakt lathos. It means

an intercessor consoler, an advocate, a comforter, called to be one side.

You know, we use stem and say God will always be with you,

His presence always be with you. Who's that Holy Spirit? Give you

some revelation today? Cannot okay? Holy Spirit. He's called to be in

your side. One who pleas another's case before a judge, a pleader,

counsel for defense, legal assistant, and advocate. So when you're doing messy

things at the side or doing nonsense, who is there? Holy Spirit is

there? He's watching? We say, God's watching Our Holy Spirit? Is

God? What he's watching? And who will plead for you? He will

plead for you when you stand in the judgment sea of Christ. You know

what I know, Passel is that day. You know he said a bad

word. He said basket right, but he didn't mean it. After that,

he immediately asked for forgiveness. God can can please forgive him? The

Holy Spirit will be our advocate. Amen. He pleads another course with one

an intercessor of Christ in his exaltation at God's right hand, pleading, We've

got the Father for the pardon of our sins. That's why the Holy Spirit

is doing a deep work in us. Now. He's the one guiding us.

He's the one perfecting our faith. He's the one helping us to grow.

He's the one teaching us how to appeace. Why are Christians so different?

Friends? Christians are very different, though, do you know, we

certain expectation of Christians? Do you know that can I've gotten this a few

times that when I got stopped by the police and when they asked me this

He's a helper, aider, assistant, the Holy Spirit, destined to

take the place of Christ with apostles, to lead them into a deeper knowledge

of the Gospel of Truth and give them divine strength needed to enable them to

undergo trials and persecutions on behalf of the Divine kingdom? Friends? Is your

life very messy right now? Are you going through a difficult time. Do

you feel like you're the one they are suffering? The Holy Spirit will help

you. It's not just cliche. The Holy Spirit will help you to grow.

He's the one that will give you divine strength. That's what the Holy

Spirit will do. Amen. He gives us power to be witnesses. Right,

what is a witness? What is a witness? I went and Dick,

you know or we're not? How many of you here are law?

Law student or lawyer? Okay okay? Ago said lawyer? A lawyer?

So you understand what witness is? You don't understand what? You can ask

what? It's a witness? Someone that stands to the trial to bear witness

of someone. Right, Oh, he's this kind of person, right,

that's a witness. Right. So we are witnesses to who to God?

Right, witnesses to God's power. Right. But the but and that's the

English example. But when I decided to dig deeper, because after I did

a bit of like you know, a Greek study, and all, I'm

witness. Do you know what the meaning of witness is in Greek? In

all of you here. But this is what witness means, the weight of

the word. We are witnesses, and who enables us to be witnesses?

The Holy Spirit? Are we comfortable with him or not? Friends? Or

we reject him? When there's a small, still voice in your life that

speaks, I do believe that. Even as I'm sharing now, some of

you probably getting nutched in the heart. Ready, He's not me, our

guys, I got no such power. Okay. The last I check,

I cannot shoot webs. Although I know my reflects quite fast. I won't

be able to convict you, right because as some are thing convicted, others

are rejecting it. I don't know. I hope what you will receive it,

Spirit. We've got to be more engaging in the Holy Spirit. We've got

you listen to the Holy Spirit more and more, you will get better at

hearing his voice? Because sometimes we hear voices were like, is this my

voice? Or is this cause voice? You know? Sometimes we had at

thought. No, I used to have that as well. But to be

rare honest to you, right, living with walking, we've got all this

while right, so I work by faith and not by side. Okay,

because I worked by side, I probably won't listen to the Holy Spirit as

much, honestly and all honestly, Okay, I think I'm getting better at

hearing him. I think I am. I pray that there are those of

you here would have that same confidence that I have that, yeah, this

is the Holy Spirit, not just Elvin. You know. Let me tell

you, Joe. You know how I know it's not the Holy Spirit.

You know because recently there was a voice I say, oh, you know,

maybe I should get a standing table that can move up and down so

that I can, you know, prepare message better and exercise. You know,

this is definitely my voice, law And then my vife's voice say there

is a one and not a need, so no need. So I'm like,

okay, submit to the voice of the wife. The Holy Spirit gives

us hope and peace. Sorry that I just had to add that in the

the God of hope. Feel you with joy and peace in believing that you

may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Can I give

for you. Friends, Are you in a dire situation? Is your situation

so impossible that you find no solution or way? Are of it? Are

you in that situation? Are you frustrated? Are you stressed out? Are

you having any anxiety problems? Let me read the scripture again. Now,

May God, may the God of Hope feel each and every one of you

here with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by

the power of the Holy Spirit. Friends, revelation. Are you catching it

or not? Is it just this is just a positive word that passed always

preaching, so I feel. But no, guys, the God of Hope

will give you joy and peace that hope may abound. Do you know that

means not means u A situation that you will thought hopeless will start showing you

that there's hope because Us of the Holy Spirit. If not night, if

I'm gonna answer in So, how do we receive the Holy Spirit? Okay,

let me give you a bit more revelation. We receive him and we

receive Christ. John twenty twenty one to twenty three. What happened? So

Jesus said to them again, peace to you. As the Father has sent

me, I also sent you. And where he had said this, he

breathed on them the breath of God. Amen. Breathe on them, and

say to them, receive the Holy Spirit. If you'll forgive the sins of

what happened. He breathed the Holy Spirit on them. He commissioned his disciples

for the work, and he breathed the Holy Spirit on them. That's what

Jesus did. That's what he did. Where does the Holy Spirit reside?

He resides in our bodies, as our bodies are the temple of God.

First Quarantians three sixteen something says, do you not know that you are the

temple of God, and that the Spirit of God do else in you.

If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the

Temple of God is holy. Which temple you are? Of course, I

lets take it very literally, lah like, which is correct or so and

good or so like? Make sure you, you know, are healthy,
