  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. We're gonna go into scripture. Told me to

  3. look chapter three, uh, and then we're gonna read from verse one to

  4. verse ten, and then I'm gonna skip over to Luke chapter four. Okay,

  5. So before I go into that scripture, just to give you a bit

  6. of context. You know, context is very important. Turn your neighbor and

  7. say context is very important, very very important in your own communication, and

  8. make sure that you give proper contexts. Don't simply you know, sometimes I

  9. don't like people they talk to me as Adalia. They simply switch channel one,

  10. and it's like, what are you talking about right now? You know,

  11. you know people talk I never like are you talking about this? And

  12. we're still on the same channel. But then someone their switch channel. Really

  13. likes all about context. Okay, don't simplease switch channels. Okay, okay.

  14. So the context is that this is Luke chapter three, and so Jesus

  15. has reason from the dead. He has shown himself manifested himself physically to his

  16. disciples and to a lot of witnesses as round. But when Jesus rose from

  17. the dead, he did ministry with the people, and then and eventually he

  18. ascended right in front of the eyes of the disciples, and he told them

  19. specifically, do not go anywhere, do not go and preach right now,

  20. don't go to the cities, don't go to the temples, okay, don't

  21. go and do healing or anything, but just wait, okay, in Jerusalem.

  22. And hey, wait in Jerusalem until the coming of the Holy Spirit.

  23. Okay. And that was such an important thing because sometimes after you see a

  24. person raise from the dead, as if he's a normal thing, you want

  25. to go out and do things in Aha. You know, I've seen the

  26. Christ. You know, you want to go out. But Jesus gave them

  27. a commandment, very strict commandment, to not tell anyone but remain in Jerusalem

  28. until the coming of the Holy Spirit. It was an important test for the

  29. disciples, okay. And so they did praise the Lord, and Peter in

  30. this important junction rose up, you know, rose up. And firstly,

  31. you know, I rose up in leadership among the disciples. Firstly by telling

  32. them that, hey, Judus has passed away, but then we need to

  33. appoint another to take over his office. Uh. And they did so by

  34. casting of lots and by praying as well. Okay, And so it's you

  35. know, Peter started to come into his own and then the Pentecosts happened.

  36. Okay, when they feel and then the Holy Spirit came and they sent upon

  37. it. They started speaking in tongues okay, uh. And you know when

  38. when they spoken tongue, they were that they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Pentecost.

  39. And you know, six thousand people got safe. And then what do

  40. they want to say? Yep, safe? And then Peter gave a sermon.

  41. You know, because of his sermon he preached, and like I said,

  42. you can see Peter going not rising up in ranks. Before this,

  43. you can see Peter shrinking away, shrinking away. But then it was a

  44. very people to point for Peter to rise up as leader, the very clear

  45. leader among the apostles. Now, so we have a community of Christian believers

  46. who believe. And then you said, you hear that that the church has

  47. begun. But now, uh, there is the next pace? What do

  48. they do beyond that? And we see here from Luke chapter three, this

  49. is a very important thing, okay, because they're during the appentecause people the

  50. people who believe we can say, like you know, it were those people

  51. who were gathered around them. But how would they be publicly viewed by the

  52. priests, the officials, by the people in the temple was revealed in this

  53. chapter okay, chapter three. Okay, there's where I'm going to begin.

  54. And he says, here, now Peter and John k two persons to the

  55. apost. They went up to the temple at the hour of prayer, okay,

  56. the ninth hour. Now a certain lame man lame from his mother's who

  57. was carried Okay, I'm reading the nk ESV version, whom they laid daily

  58. at the gate of the temple, which is called beiltiful, to ask alms

  59. from those who entered the temple, who, seeing Peter and John about to

  60. go into the temple, ask for arms. Okay, So we stopped there

  61. for a while. We know that there is a guy okay, a few

  62. things. We know he is lame, but he was laying for birth.

  63. Okay, he was born lame. Okay, And what did they do with

  64. him? They placed him at the temple. I know I'm time, but

  65. I'm not going to go through into detail how the temple looks like. But

  66. Basically, there are two major temples, okay, the temple that was built

  67. during the time of Solomon and at the time, and the temple the second

  68. temple, which was built during the time of King Herod. The King Herod's

  69. temp was way much bigger, probably three times much much bigger, okay.

  70. And there are layers, you know, there are you know, there's a

  71. Solomon porch, there is the court of women's called the Gentiles, and then

  72. you go inner and then the inner centraly as well. So it is very

  73. common for the people in Israel to go in it out, and especially during

  74. prayer as well. So they placed him at this gate called the gate called

  75. beautiful. Okay. It's a gate called beautiful because it's a large, heavy

  76. gate with beautiful ornaments. But he could not go in. He was only

  77. placed outside. Okay. Why because there is a belief that you know,

  78. among the Jewish culture that sin is hereditary, Okay. It means it's passed

  79. down. It's either you sin, or your mother or your father or someone

  80. in your family's sin, and that because of that infirmity was born and passed

  81. down to the generation in it as well. And so they do not allow

  82. people who were blind who were lameing to enter beyond a certain gate, and

  83. they were just outside the gate. That was beautiful. Okay, that's why

  84. they measured all these details as well. He was placed right outside there.

  85. Okay, he can see God, he can now watch people go in,

  86. but he will always be outside in a way. It's like us, isn't

  87. it as believers, isn't it? We are born in sin can stand outside

  88. there. Okay, we watch people go in and out. But that's all

  89. we can do from lame from birth. Okay. But one day this guy

  90. he met Apostle Peter and James, and he asked for the normal thing.

  91. He asked for alms? Can you fit me? Can you give me some

  92. money so that I can take care of myself? And this is the important

  93. part. And Peter said to them said to him, silver and gold I

  94. do not have, But what I do have I give to you. Okay,

  95. I want you guys to remember this phrase because I think that this is

  96. something that you gotta. This is a verse that you ought to remember and

  97. memorize in your life for evangelism purposes. Okay, can we say this again?

  98. Okay, silver and gold I do not have, but what I do

  99. have, I give to you. Okay. This is a very important manner

  100. and posture about how we go about preaching and sharing the gospel as well.

  101. Okay, we follow, we follow the old recipe that okay, you don't

  102. create new recipes, so I stick to the old recipe. Okay. This

  103. case, what Peter says to him is that I don't have. I don't

  104. have what you ask, what you want, but what I do have okay,

  105. that you can't see. Okay, I give to you. Now what

  106. is it that I give to you? Okay? And this reply is very

  107. powerful. Okay. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareeth. Okay.

  108. This is the first time the apostle Jesus in the New Testament has declared to

  109. heal anyone under any name. For the very first time he said, what

  110. in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Okay, rise up and walk

  111. Okay. And this is nowhere else but in the Temple Menza. It's at

  112. the most important public place, most reverend place in all of Israel. Okay,

  113. declare everyone you walk in and walk out. Is that you go to

  114. DBKL, or you go to Istana and Nagara, or you go to Parliament

  115. there and suddenly you know, people are walking in and out all their photos.

  116. They are not people taking you Tube or Instagram. And suddenly you see

  117. guy, see a guy doing a miracle work and say, under one name,

  118. in the name of Jesus Christ of Natura, a name people people have

  119. not heard for a long time, a name that was previously scorn or curse

  120. it because Jesus died on the tree. If you die on the tree,

  121. you are personal. Did you know that? How many if you like to

  122. die on the tree, If you're a parent, if you are, you

  123. are you wouldn't want to see your son, your daughter, you know,

  124. your friend, your parents. Anyone to die is one thing, but to

  125. die on the tree is to be cursed. You know. Okay, but

  126. this name has to be associated with a name that was cursed. But under

  127. this name I heal you water. Strange but yet powerful declaration by Peter as

  128. well, and say that in verse seven. And he took him by the

  129. right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received

  130. strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple

  131. with them, walking, leaping and praising God. See what's the contrast.

  132. He was always standing. Imagine like, for example, the temple door was

  133. here, and he was standing in the sitting in front of the gates of

  134. beautiful right there. He was lame and Peter was helping him. Then when

  135. who was healed? How did he enter into the gate? Lame? Sad?

  136. Late, oh, complaining, leaping, running, jumping and praising God.

  137. That is the world that God is about to do for everyone who believes

  138. in the name of Jesus. Yeah, mean right, Hue, who was

  139. saying who was entering into it? And he was working? Well, he

  140. says that he was working with the apostles, the person who should him walking

  141. into the gates beautiful for the first time, you know, forty years,

  142. he says, this man was forty years a man. Okay really later in

  143. x chapter four, there you will it will be revealed. Then this man

  144. was forty years old, forty years sitting there. I'm gonna say forty years.

  145. That became plus minus forty years. Finally finally healed and walking in,

  146. jumping and leaping and praising God. And he says there verse nine, and

  147. all the people saw him walking and praising God. Then they knew that it

  148. was he who sat bagging arms at the beautiful gate of the temple, and

  149. they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. Amen.

  150. You know in Psalm one hundred, verse four, it says that no,

  151. don't return to it. He says, not only that those saved by

  152. Christ enter into his courts with praise and thanks going because of what God has

  153. done. Amazing, isn't it, hey? Amazing now? But this is

  154. the first reaction we see. But it is only part one. Okay,

  155. turn with me to look chapter four, and I will share with you how

  156. the name of Jesus is being elevated and exalted, not just among the common

  157. people, but among all authorities, and then we will know Heaven rules.

  158. Okay. Now, in chapter four, verse one, it says here now,

  159. as in the temple, to the people, these are the disciples,

  160. the priests, the captain of the temple, and the seduces came upon them,

  161. Okay, being greatly disturbed that they taught the people and preached in Jesus

  162. the resurrection from the dead. Okay, let's pause there for a while.

  163. Why were they so afraid that they preached in Jesus' name? In the name

  164. of Jesus, the resurrection from the dead, because they must understand. The

  165. Israelites. They have a few groups of teachers. The first the oldest one

  166. with the Seduces. Okay, I hope I'm pronouncing in Rightduces. There were

  167. a group of teachers and priests who are sort of like more privileged group of

  168. people, okay, wealthy and powerful, but they believe not all the scriptures.

  169. They only believe the Torah. Okay, any books further than the Torah,

  170. they don't believe in it. They don't accept it. And because of

  171. what of the books that they're limited, they don't believe in the resurrection,

  172. really strictly believe. They don't believe in the resurrection or okay, so there

  173. is where they stand. But the Pharisees they actually do. Okay, So

  174. you have two groups. But because they were powerful, because they believe in

  175. the elite group reach and wealthy day, they maintained there for a while.

  176. But now it is a problem to them, okay, because a man has

  177. been healed, and there are rumors and whispers about Jesus had reason from the

  178. dead. And not only there are rumors, people from that group are actually

  179. preaching and teaching in the temple as well. And so they were, they

  180. are teaching their their belief system is being threatened. Okay. Now in verse

  181. three it says that and they lay hands on them, okay, meaning the

  182. priests and the and the captain. They laid hands on them, on the

  183. on the apostles, and put them in custody until the next day, for

  184. it was already evening. How however, many of those who heard the word

  185. believed, and the number of the men came to be about how many five

  186. thousand, just one healing five thousand people. Amazing, isn't it. Now,

  187. that's store they come to the main action, okay. And in verse

  188. five the title says it addressing the Sanhedrin. The Sanhedrin is made up of

  189. so called the elders. Let me see, might not see how many of

  190. them are there? The thing, there's about seventy one members of the Sanhedrin,

  191. seventy elders and one high priest. Okay, So there, and these

  192. are the same group of people that Jesus appeared as well. Okay, these

  193. are very very powerful. But basically they together with together at that time,

  194. with the under the authority of the Roman government, they ruled over Israel over

  195. all the religious affairs, and how they were to conduct themselves as well.

  196. So he says that, and it came to pass on that day the rulers

  197. and the elders, as well as an As, the high priests and care

  198. first John and Alexander and as many as well of the family of the high

  199. priests were gathered together at Jerusalem. Now, Annas and care first were some

  200. very familiar, because these two they are basically family, ANDAs and care First.

  201. I can't remember who was foolready, but if I'm not mistaken, one

  202. of them is the father in law. The other was the son in law,

  203. Okay, but they were. One of them was the high priests,

  204. and then the atherm was so like a shadow high priestland okay. And their

  205. position as a high priest was not voted on. Their position as a high

  206. priest was given or bought from the Roman people. Okay. So you give

  207. a tribute to the Roman government and they will plant you as a high priest.

  208. And then from there the high priest, through a system of sacrifice and

  209. animals, they will collect the offerings and then they pay back to Romans.

  210. And then a lord that the key for themselves as well. So the temple

  211. system was very corrupt. Ah, that's why Jesus hated it so much.

  212. She was chasing people out as well. Okay. So these people so called

  213. uh what they call it religious pious people? Okay, the one the thing

  214. girl of people who are sentenced and murdered. Jesus is now having trial over

  215. Jesus. Why is going to happen? Then? Hey, people think,

  216. hey, these people, uh, you know, Jesus didn't fare so well

  217. to them with this group, with the Sanhedrin. What about the apostle the

  218. only perform on miracle nor Jesus performed so mini miracles, and how they're going

  219. to stand up against them? Okay? So and then he says here in

  220. verse seven, and when they had set them in the midst okay, they

  221. asked one of the most important questions in the whole of New Testament, one

  222. the most the most the most important questions. Okay, and they set themselves

  223. up. Okay. And that is why we sing the song, because they

  224. asked this question, by what power or by what name have you done this?

  225. Okay? This is the most important question, one of the most people

  226. to the moment in the Book of Acts or the New Testament, because people

  227. are asking by what power or by what name have you done this? And

  228. it will still ring the same question in this world. And when you go

  229. to the marketplace, go to your school, okay, go to your family,

  230. your friends, socialize, Okay, when they see things, they will

  231. be always asking the same question, by what power or by what name have

  232. you done this? Think about it. They didn't ask her, how did

  233. you do it? You know, they didn't even deny that the miracle even

  234. actually happened. You know, you get me right, Science and wonders will

  235. go before them, and science and wanders still continue to happen in this day.

  236. You get me right, when the still happened and people are asking how

  237. okay, and people will be asking the same question. How. Then,

  238. Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, rulers of the

  239. people and elders of Israel, if we this day okay, this is very

  240. smart. Know this is court room drama. Okay, court room drama.

  241. Peter heard that, he said, he didn't even they didn't. Peter was

  242. like, well, you didn't even question me what did I do or not?

  243. Or how this man was healed or whether it was real. You're not

  244. even asking me whether they are witnesses at all, but you fully acknowledge that

  245. this man who was laying was helled. You want to ask me straight of

  246. it, I'm gonna give it to you. Okay. If this day we

  247. are judge for a good day done to a helpless man, by what means

  248. he has been made? Well? If you ask me, what is the

  249. source? Okay? Let it be known to you all and to the old

  250. people of Israel. And this is a public decoration more than just a declaration

  251. or a public statement, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,

  252. okay, in front of all the court, Jesus Christ of Nazaus. But

  253. then he didn't stop there. But who is Jesus Christ of Nazaus to you

  254. and to me? The postle Peter didn't didn't shrink bat No, it's just

  255. not just the name. You know, He's saying, this name has an

  256. implication to you. When I mentioned this name, you are implicated. Whoa

  257. he says. Suddenly know, you go and watch a corner and suddenly people

  258. are They say, are you involved in this? Why are you being you

  259. know, in this murder or this robbery? Certainly someone called up your name,

  260. you know, or this fellow say, what does it mean mean?

  261. You are being implicated? Okay, being implicated? Okay, but this is

  262. what Peter is saying. Not only I'm going to tell you the source.

  263. I'm going to tell you that all of you, that the whole entire people

  264. of Israel, okay, and all the Lizzers, including all the Sundary,

  265. all of you are implicated into this name. Okay, Jesus Christ, whom

  266. you got raised from the dead by him. This man stands before you.

  267. Now, this is amazing. You know why is this so amazing? M

  268. Because Jesus died. And not only Jesus die. How did he die?

  269. He died, he was crucified. Okay, mother's crucified. But what does

  270. his crucifixion tell the public. So he was punished. He didn't only die,

  271. he was punished. The exact word is punished. This man who was

  272. he was made a lie by someone you punished. To be more exact,

  273. Ah, It's like, hey, if you go to school, Hey,

  274. how you once you don't this this this this kid got saved from a concident.

  275. How do he go say? Oh, this guy, this kid got

  276. safe but another student whom you punish, you know, you got me right,

  277. So who's who is? Who is made Celia the principle the teacher made

  278. Celila, you punish the guy who said that kid, you got mean right.

  279. This is what they're saying, you know, So they are making the

  280. Peter say that you're guilty. So the moment that they realize that Jesus has

  281. been punished and that it makes them and Jesus is still able to heal a

  282. guy from the grave, that's a huge thing. Makes sense or not.

  283. It's a very very powerful statement. And no, okay, it's a very

  284. power How many of you will suddenly go and like, know, hey sign

  285. a bank cloner under someone who has been committed a criminal before. Hey,

  286. I would like to buy a property. Okay, the bank said, okay,

  287. you don't much money. I need a bank character. Who would you

  288. like to guarantee guarantee your your financial status? Or I would like this guy

  289. who is a criminal, who is a bankrupt would you do that? The

  290. name has not power, not authority, but Jesus when he's dying, he

  291. was punished from the great he was still able to heal a man. You

  292. know, you know what I'm saying here. Sometimes when we sing the name

  293. of Jesus, we repraate the name of just We don't understand the gravity.

  294. You know what we are pulling out from you know, in terms of law,

  295. you know what we are really drawing out, what we are really associating

  296. with it on the name of Jesus. You know, for us we are

  297. blessed because we believe, we repent. But for those who don't, they

  298. are guilty. So the name of Jesus will cut through the hearts of men

  299. like a sword, you get me like it will divide people who will be

  300. blessed by the name of Jesus, who will praise the name of Jesus.

  301. But there will be one girl. People who were seethed in their teeth,

  302. who are natural, They who were slammed and will still reject. Do you

  303. know what I'm saying here? But nothing can overthrow that. You want to

  304. murder, you want to punish him. He's still working. He is still

  305. working miracles. People turn your neighbors say, God is still working miracles even

  306. from the grave. He top of the grave, ready not longer in the

  307. grave. There's a huge implication. So when you use the name and say

  308. when you today. Later on, we're gonna do a practice later on when

  309. you go to the office. It's someone you know what you want to pray

  310. for cancer? You what do you? What name do you in the name

  311. of Jesus when you pray for your family member? Okay, pray for provision.

  312. Prayer on them, say by faith in the name of Jesus, in

  313. the name of Jesus, the hallow name of Jesus. Now let's move on

  314. here. In verse fourteen, oh no, sir, Norri, Let's go

  315. to verse eleven. Okay, this is the stone. After Peters saying that

  316. you know telling that you punish Jesus, you crucified him, and you murdered

  317. him. Okay, this is the same name. And in verse eleven he

  318. says, this is the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has

  319. become the chief corner stone. No is here, No is there salvation in

  320. any other For there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which

  321. we man be safe. This man standing outside your temper for forty years,

  322. nothing has been done. You punish another guy, this guy, even in

  323. the great can save this, can heal this guy? And walking in Now,

  324. where is your power. Where is your so authority? Now in verse

  325. thirteen, we see how they react, how the send red. He says,

  326. now, when they saw the bonus of Peter and John and perceived that

  327. they were uneducated and untrained men. Okay, how many of you are untrained?

  328. Uneducated? Time for self awareness and humility, h He says, they

  329. were uneducated, uneducated and untrained men. You know he's this guy is in

  330. the court. You know he's able to not not just present himself, he

  331. is able to present a quarter a case that implicated the whole entire judicial system.

  332. You know, this guy is really quite power there. But of course

  333. it's under the power of the whole spirit, isn't it Okay? And he

  334. says, there they marveled, and they realized that they had been with Jesus.

  335. They had been Jesus. One of the marks, uh on, the

  336. marks that people recognize when you speak boldly, when you perform and science and

  337. wonders. You know, oh, you go by faith and you preach and

  338. you make a witness. People can tell whether you've been with Jesus or not.

  339. Okay, whether the say we've been with Jesus. Not so much about

  340. teaching, whether the presence of God lives in you and man. In verse

  341. fourteen, it says it. And seeing the man who had been healed standing

  342. with them living testimony, okay, they could say nothing against it, because

  343. there is a living testimony. But when they had commanded them to go outside,

  344. out of the council, they conferred among themselves, saying, what shall

  345. we do to this man? For indeed they're a notable miracle has been done

  346. through them. That is evident to all who do well in Jerusalem, and

  347. we cannot deny it. It's not just my conviction there it will be works.

  348. And that's what I'm saying now most of my in my time, I've

  349. seen people. Of course, you can preach messages, you can go into

  350. apologetics, but people in their head, it's only that you know all they

  351. can. They will receive understanding, but people will not will not be convinced

  352. until what the reality of God hits them. What I'm saying now, conversion

  353. happens not because of knowledge. Conversion comes from the reality of God. Okay,

  354. If the word of God does not translate into a reality pointless, you

  355. get me right. The word of God has to translate into the reality of

  356. God. If not, it's just sermon, sermon, messages, messages.

  357. You're telling me to do this, or I hate it. I hate it.

  358. Sometimes it doesn't even take the word. Sometimes it takes an encounter.

  359. You get into an accident, you realize that, wow, there life flashing

  360. before your eyes and you see God, you know, like no, no,

  361. like summarizing your life, and you're going to die, and you realize

  362. that you need God. That there is no other name that can be said

  363. by which you can be said, but unless through the name of Jesus,

  364. and that's where the reality of God hits you and you start to believe,

  365. Amen, the reality of God. Then it says here in verse seventeen.

  366. But so that it spreads no further among the people they want, that it

  367. no longer to spread any further. Let us severely threaten them that from now

  368. on they speak to no man in this name. So what does the enemy

  369. want to do? What do they want to do? Of all things they

  370. want to they want you to do. What Christians can come and have church,

  371. Christians can do worship, Christians can do your Bible study. But if

  372. you go out, don't don't speak the name of Jesus. Isn't it consistent,

  373. it's true or not. You can do all you want, have your

  374. own thing, have you only a party. But when you go out,

  375. don't speak the name of Jesus. Hey, no, I say one say

  376. here you know. And it's still the same threat nowadays we get, isn't

  377. it Whether it's direct or indirect, itither is implied or not directly implied.

  378. You get mean right, it's still the same thing. You can do whatever

  379. you want Christians, but don't speak the name of Jesus. But how will

  380. people know? And then I'm going to show you the last part here when

  381. they ask from this, from this the first group of Christians, how did

  382. they responded? And it will paint and also pave, you know, draw

  383. out the template by which we ought to follow as believers as well. You

  384. give me a so that it's not about what we feel is politically correct.

  385. Yes I am. I'm not a confrontational person or have a personality as well.

  386. But my preference takes second place, you know, Bible takes first.

  387. God calls you to witness. You witness not by your share wisdom or understanding,

  388. simple just under the name of Jesus. Okay, now he says here

  389. in verse eighteen. Uh, not in verse eighteen, oh, okay,

  390. verse eighteen. So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all,

  391. not teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and

  392. said to them, whether it is right in the sight of God to listen

  393. to you more than to God, you judge, For we cannot but speak

  394. the things which we have seen and heard. You only speak of the things

  395. you have seen and heard. People, no more than that, okay,

  396. your only tales of the things of the scener nor more than that, not

  397. your own righteousness, but only the righteousness of God. Okay. So,

  398. when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way

  399. of punishing them because of the people. Well, since they all glorified God

  400. for what had been done for the man was over forty years old, on

  401. whom this miracle of healing had been performed. Now you see go towards throw,

  402. drawing towards towards the end. Here now we see the reaction of the

  403. disciples, okay, being brought in front of the sand. He'd being the

  404. same group that sentenced Jesus to die. They now come out victorious. The

  405. only thing they could give to them, is one a threat? Okay,

  406. a threat? And in verse twenty three and says there and being let go,

  407. they went to their own, to their own companions, and reported all

  408. that the chief priests and elders had said to them. So when they heard

  409. that means that all the believers heard that, they raised their voice to God

  410. with one accord, and said, Lord, you are God who made heaven

  411. and earth and the sea and all that is in them, who, by

  412. the mouth of your seven David has said, why did the nations rage and

  413. the people prought vain things? The kings of the earth took their stand,

  414. and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, against his Christ okay verse

  415. twenty seven, for truly against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed both

  416. herod and conscious pilot. With the gentiles and the people Israel were gathered to

  417. do together, to do whatever your hand and your purpose determined before to be

  418. done. Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to your

  419. servants, meaning all of us here, that with all boldness, with what

  420. all boldness, they may speak your word? Who is who is this addressed

  421. to? Just to the apostles, You think only just apostles. So we

  422. all don't speak in boldness. If a miracle happened, I don't speaking overness,

  423. and people ask you it's just a it's just a flucca. Huh.

  424. If a me member here by cancer because you pray for them, you say,

  425. oh, it's just a flucca. Every miracle that's been performed, pierce

  426. and understander, every miracle and every grace that God extend that requires an account

  427. for us, you know, requires an account for us. All of us

  428. are given to required to account to one. You know. Okay, Where

  429. am I saying? Okay? You speak your word by stretching out your hand

  430. to heal, and that signs and wonders may be thrown done through the name

  431. of your holy servant Jesus. Now my question is this, what do we

  432. learn from today? We learned the powerful name of Jesus. Isn't it the

  433. name of Jesus, the man that was punished guiltless? The name they even

  434. uh, you know, that went to the grave And people say that,

  435. oh, we didn't see him rise from the dead before. It only appear

  436. to certain people. I wouldn't believe it. But yet this is the same

  437. name that you don't believe that it's able to heal this man. How did

  438. you explain it? They cannot. They cannot. So the works bear witness

  439. to the power of the name of Jesus. You know what I'm saying.

  440. The works bear power to the name of Jesus. That's what we call the

  441. Kingdom of Jesus Christ is the upside down kingdom. You know, have you

  442. heard before? What's the upside down kingdom? I mentioned this a few times

  443. before. Most of the kings are kingdoms are let go the Roman Kingdom,

  444. Mongolian Kingdom, any British kingdom. Okay, Normally there's a head, isn't

  445. it, main top ruler. When the kings they fall and they die or

  446. tragically, nations typically crumble. They may be succeeded by different ones, but

  447. generally this they crumble because the leader is the one and then they disappear.

  448. But for Christianity and for Jesus Christ, he died, you know, thirty

  449. three years over so quick. You know, three years ministry didn't even go

  450. all the way to become King of Israel, all the way so called King

  451. of Israel crucified. But yet now he has more army and soldiers than any

  452. other nations. Yeah, I mean right, it's the opposite way now,

  453. people. The kings live to sustain their soldiers to build the empire. But

  454. Jesus builds his empire, makes disciples of all nations from every corner of the

  455. earth, touching every nation. After he dies, total opposite of how the

  456. world establishes. The kingdom and his kingdom will know no end, will know

  457. no bound. And when he comes again, he will not come as the

  458. as a servant to serve. He will come as a conqueror, the conquering

  459. king, with an iron rod in his hand. Conquering King. Amen,

  460. And he says here. And when they have prayed, the place where they

  461. assembled together was shaken, and they were all filled the moment they say that,

  462. Lord, you're seen this. They have no authority. Please, of

  463. all things that we ask for, give your servant boldness. If there's a

  464. miracle that we all were always singing for America, Lord, do this,

  465. do that when it comes? What should we respond? It's not standing here

  466. this testimony you, No, it is what he's like. Lord, give

  467. your servant, give action, to give our teens, our youth, our

  468. working adults, our parents. Give them boldness, okay, give them boldness,

  469. Give everyone here boldness, that we may speak your name and your word,

  470. and that when you stretch out to heal may be done through the name

  471. of Jesus. That is God's will for you and I Amen. There is

  472. God's will for you, and I not touch to sing about it, so

  473. that you and I will have boldness just like Peter d Amen. We hope

  474. you've been blessed by this message. For more information on our church, please
