You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. Returned to John chapter nine, verse one to
-
twenty five. John chapter nine, verse one to twenty five. Okay,
-
he says, yeah. Now, as Jesus passed by, he saw a
-
man who was blind from birth, and his disciples ask him, saying,
-
Rabbi, who's sin this man or his parents that he was born blind?
-
The disciples quite ghanasa? Sorry, Ghanas means brutal. You walk past a
-
blind person and you ask Jesus who's sinner? He or the parents? How
-
many of you like it? When they walk past you and they see a
-
body condition that you have, like for me, they look at me and
-
they say, you know, past Elvin, you gotta tell me, right,
-
And they look at Jesus and say, Jesus, you know who's sin?
-
Elvin or his parents? Because it's so fat that great right. They're
-
actually asking this question. Now, do you know there is a theological question
-
who's sin? Who's sin? It is a theological question, isn't it right?
-
This person's in that person? Do you know? Sometimes we can have
-
that perspective or this thing, this bad thing happened to this person. Therefore
-
he must have done something wrong to anger God. You know, we're humans,
-
right, we take that way, right, And sometimes we can come
-
to church and we can feel very judged, you know. And not to
-
say people are judging us, not to say people are actually actively judging you.
-
But but you can feel this because there's this thing about like when something
-
bad happens, therefore must be seen. Really, okay, just follow me,
-
okay, follow me. Don't worry. I'll get to the good stuff.
-
And Jesus answered, neither this man nor his parents sin, but that
-
are the works of God should be revealed in him. Wow, such a
-
perspective. I must work the works of him who send me while it is
-
day. The night is coming when no one can work. As long as
-
I'm in the world, I am the light of the world. When he
-
had said these things, he sped on the ground and made clay with the
-
saliva, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with clay. Gross
-
he sees the guy and just went oh, mixed with I don't know what
-
else, Lak. I don't know how Jesus did it, Lak, I
-
don't know matter God, Mucus or whatever. But mucus helps becus helps more
-
becers. It's more viscus the word we use, huh, viscus, not
-
so watery, you know, and make clay. And then and what he
-
just do. He took the clay and then he prayed. No, he
-
took the clay and he put it in the guy's eye socket. Gross.
-
You're following me, right, okay, let me see where I met.
-
And he said to him, go wash in the pullouts lower, which translates
-
scent. It's such an interesting that you think it's such an interesting situation.
-
Number one, if the blind guy, firstly, you got insulted. Secondly,
-
you didn't ask for anything. This guy suddenly and you can't see,
-
you know, you can't see what's happening. And this guy suddenly came you
-
hear us withing sound, and suddenly you feel something in your eye socket and
-
it's definitely gooey and dirty and all it's gross. And this guy that put
-
clay in your eye socket asked you to go and wash yourself. Interesting.
-
And then what happened, let's street what happened. So he went and washed
-
and came back seeing a man blind from birth, he was offended. I
-
don't know whether he was offended, And I'm just saying that he could have
-
been offended, not just offended. He was spat on, not just spet
-
on dirt and put in his eye. And then after that and I didn't
-
help me wash. Did Jesus say go to the post? Say lo,
-
you take a straight, go left, turn right and then you're reach there.
-
No, no Jesus, just say go to the post. This guy
-
is a blind guy. How is it maybe he'll follow a ways, A
-
turn straight five hundred meters, take a left at the donkey. I don't
-
know. There was no instruction and he just went. Did he complain he
-
didn't. I wonder if the guy was Probably you know, when someone is
-
defeated, someone is depressed, someone is like no hope anymore. They will
-
just do anything, you know. Maybe the guy was like that, Okay,
-
Lo, this is normal. This is probably a normal occurrence people insulting
-
me because I'm sitting around and probably are. Every time there's some religious guy
-
come to see me, he will ask me who's seen your parents or you?
-
And he probably had no response. Really, it's kind of like you
-
you cannot so badly until you are numb, right, Probably I don't know.
-
I make assumptions again, guys, these or assumptions. Okay, but
-
let's read the word for God as is. Therefore, the neighbors and those
-
who previously had seen that he was blind said, it's not this he who
-
said and begged. So who knows? This was the people around him,
-
the people that knew the blind guy. Hey, how came against any sea?
-
How come he again, sonny, sea, weren't he begging when he's
-
sitting there? Some said this is he? Others said he is like him?
-
He said, I am here. What does that mean? Basically?
-
Some couldn't believe nor lie cannot be Lah cannot be He woke out, Man,
-
Sonny, he got sex peck all you know, cannot be him.
-
And then he said, I'm him, La, guys, I'm him.
-
Therefore, they said to him, how are your eyes open? He answered
-
and said a man called Jesus. He didn't see. He didn't even know
-
who Jesus was. He said, a man called Jesus. He didn't say
-
Jesus the Messiah, Jesus the Christ. He just said this guy named Jesus
-
talking to his his disciples by the side. They insulted me, and suddenly
-
he made clay, and he used the word anointed. You noticed that he
-
used the word anointed my eyes and said to me go to the pool of
-
siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and I received his side.
-
Do you think that he thought he was anointed before he went and washed
-
his eyes? I think he probably like, okay, dirty, anyway,
-
I'll just do whatever. Okay. I don't even know whether this guy knows
-
Jesus. But after he received his side, he used the word anointed.
-
He recognized that the clay and the spit and what Jesus put in his eyes
-
was anointed. But before that, I don't know whether he thought he was
-
or not, because we didn't hear any response, so we won't know.
-
But if I was a normal human being, and this guy's a normal human
-
being, I think he'll probably think it's not anointed. But after he received
-
the miracle, after he received his side, he recognized that he was anointed.
-
Again my own observation. Okay, so I went and washed and I
-
received side. How simple is that I went, I washed, I received
-
side. Did you see the blind guy reasoning with Jesus, Hey, Jesus,
-
help me, la, I'm blind, LA? Why don't you bring
-
me? He didn't. He went, he washed and he received side.
-
Then they say to him, where is he? He said, I do
-
not know. They brought him who formerly was blind to the Pharisees, or
-
why must they bring him to the Pharisee. He was so amazing and they
-
actually had to bring him to the religious teachers. AA, come, come,
-
come, we need to bring you something. Something spiritual is happening,
-
something mystical is happening. We need more information. Suddenly, from can see
-
to cannot see? Why did they bring him to the Pharisees. The next
-
verse tells you why. Now, it was the Sabbath when Jesus made the
-
clay and opened his eyes. So what is the sabbath. The Sabbath,
-
if you know, is a day where they rest and they are not supposed
-
to do anything. That's the Jewish, the Jewish culture. They're not supposed
-
to do anything. They're not supposed to work, they're not supposed to do
-
anything. Even all the way from the time where the Israelites are coming out
-
from Egypt, God even commanded and say you only collect extra manna on the
-
sixth day, because on the seven day you rest. You don't go and
-
collect. It's a rule that they abide by. But this thing happened on
-
the sabbath. Jesus, how come you go and do things against the law
-
of the people. Let me give you this again, personal observation. Isn't
-
it great that Jesus didn't have to not heal people on the sabbath. This
-
guy was blind from birth. Imagine Jesus say, you know what, today's
-
a sabbath. I will come tomorrow on Monday where I can work. Today
-
today I don't work. He didn't do that. We will study a little
-
bit more later. Then the pharisees also ask him again how he had received
-
his side. He said to them, he put clay in my eyes and
-
I washed and I see. I just want to highlight to you that the
-
Pharisees knew who Jesus was before this. They really knew who he was,
-
and he was causing a lot of trouble trouble with them, Okay, Jesus
-
causing trouble. Then some of the pharisees said, this man is not from
-
God. Wow, that's such a bold claim because he does not keep the
-
sabbath. Wow, guys, a lot can be unpacked from that line a
-
lot, But I'm not going to I got no time. Okay. Others
-
said, how can a man who is a sinner do such signs? See,
-
they perceived Jesus as a sinner. But friends, we have hindsight,
-
not for sight. Kay, we have hindsight that Jesus is sinless. Amen.
-
But they perceived him as a sinner because he perform this on the Sabbath.
-
Therefore he must be a sinner. I pray that we will learn something
-
from this. I pray that we will not judge a book by its cover,
-
as believe us. I pray that we will learn to know the works
-
of God and to not just look at the our appearance, because a lot
-
of times we can look at our appearance and judge based on our appearance.
-
Oh why you know so little people in this church. Something must be wrong.
-
Oh why this thing happens? Something must be wrong, Something must be
-
wrong. Why are we always looking for wrong things? Why can't we start
-
looking for right things? Hear me, our friends, And it's not just
-
something about church, you guys, see something about our lives as well.
-
Are we all out looking for wrong things? Or are we trying to see
-
the works of God in our lives. What are we looking at? They
-
said to the blind man again, what do you say about him? Because
-
he opened your eyes? He said, he is a prophet. This crazy,
-
guys, this, this exchange is so crazy. They already had a
-
perceived perception of who this guy is, as in Jesus are not the blind
-
men. They cannot deny that the blind man can see. But they were
-
trying to discredit Jesus. But the Jews do not believe concerning him that he
-
had been blind and received his side until they called the parents of him,
-
who receive that. Whah, they have to verify a U sure not.
-
Maybe he bluff one. Maybe they are trying to create this thing. Let's
-
call the parents because Brian from Sidma. Let's call the parents. Let's verify.
-
And they asked them, saying, is this your son who you say
-
was born blind? How then does he now see? His parents answered them
-
and said, we know that this is our son and that he was born
-
blind, But by what means he now sees? We do not know,
-
or who opened his eyes? We do not know. He is of age.
-
Ask him, he will speak of himself. The parents are so scared.
-
Now the parents are scared. His parents said these things because they feared
-
the Jews, for the Jews had agreed already that if anyone confessed that he
-
was Christ, he will be put out the synagogue. Look at how much
-
or how much far they want to go and discredit Jesus. So far they
-
want to go to discredit Jesus. Therefore, his parents said, he's of
-
age. Ask him kind of like wash, answer, he's all enough.
-
You talk to him. Okay, don't talk to me, you know,
-
don't talk to me. I verify it is my son. Don't talk to
-
me. He's probably I don't get involved. So then again they called the
-
man who was blind and said to him, give God the glory. We
-
know that this man is a sinner. That that that line sounds so correct,
-
Yet it sounds a little bit wrong. Don't give this guy creditor.
-
Give God credit because this guy is a sinner. He answered and said,
-
whether he is a sinner or not, I do not know one thing.
-
I know that though I was blind. Now I see. Then they said
-
to him again, what did you sorry, Okay, I think I've over
-
already. So they again called the man, and he unswertedain and said,
-
whether he is a saying or not. I do not know one thing.
-
I know that I thought I was blind, Now I see. Do you
-
know that obstacles, Sorry, opportunities are often disguised as obstacles, and that's
-
why so many of us might miss them. But because this is what he
-
said last week, isn't that true opportunity? If you're a businessman, you
-
will notice very well opportunities are disguised as obstacles. You'll catch that a lot
-
of times if we don't realize in our lives there are a lot of things
-
that are tests that can become testimonies. But because it's disguised, we might
-
miss it. We might see problems as problems only, Oh, you know
-
there's a problem. Do you know that? In James it says rejoice Therefore
-
in all trials and tribulations? What does said? That line tells you that
-
time tells you that not all problems are just problems, Not all challenges are
-
just challenges, Not all obstacles are just obstacles. But we but we should
-
learn to see every problem as an opportunity to work the works of God.
-
That was the core difference with what Jesus saw and what the disciples saw they
-
saw and they say, this guy who's sin. But Jesus is not about
-
the sin. That's not the most important part. You're missing the point.
-
This guy is like that here so that I can do something about it to
-
reveal the works of God. See, when we are doing things, when
-
we pray, it's not it's not to bolster ourselves. No, it's to
-
reveal the works of God in our lives. When we experience testimonies, as
-
believe us, it is to reveal the works of God's in our lives.
-
It's not just oh, you know, I'm so blessed, I'm so holy,
-
I'm so great. Therefore I'm awesome. That's why God bless me.
-
It's not about me. It's so that when people recognize that there's something different
-
about you, there's a working in your life. It's what it's to show
-
that God is alive and he's there in your life, and he's real,
-
and you should introduce him to someone. Amen. We have benefited so much
-
on the works of God in our lives. Maybe it's time that we reveal
-
it to others. Approaching every difficulty as an opportunity to reveal God's power and
-
to glorifies him. Is there a true statement every challenge? Do you believe
-
that every challenge you face is an opportunity for God to move Corent don't believe
-
that. You might not believe that now, and if we don't believe that,
-
then that determines your theology. But we always you know, it says
-
that you know Christ is a probing glory, true Christ. We can overcome
-
Christ is it has to be in a picture of us. Okay, but
-
this is something that we got to learn, we gotta realize. So let's
-
talk about working the works of God. There are five things we need to
-
consider drawing from this scripture on how the works of God can work in our
-
lives. Okay. Number one, it is a theological problem. Remember I
-
mentioned sinal sin is theology. What is theology? Theology is the study of
-
God teo God means that whether or not you can work the works of God
-
in your life really determines whether or not you understand how God works, You
-
understand his word, you understand how things happen. The understanding of God will
-
determine whether or not God can work in your life. Is that true?
-
Because as you can see clearly, the Pharisees didn't clearly understand Jesus, so
-
they could not recognize the work of God. In fact, they were just
-
looking at the action. Sabbath therefore must be wrong. But they don't realize
-
that causing a blind man to see only God can do that. They recognize,
-
but they don't want to accept that this guy is God. That was
-
their theological problem. So for us, it's a theological problem. The disciples
-
will focus on the sin as the reason the man was blind. A lot
-
of times you might see something bad that happens as a punishment or a consequence
-
and thought and those are There are times that this is true. It is
-
not always a case. I'll give us an example for my own life,
-
right and I've shared this many times on stage for those who are knew.
-
You might not know, but I have a child with my autism. When
-
I first found out, I thought it was a punishment. That was my
-
perspective. There was my understanding. That is so long ago, eight years
-
ago. Now I know it is not. Now I know that it happened
-
because God can work. He's worked in my life, and he has been
-
I got some testimonies to share you later. But He has worked in my
-
life and only true. I tell you, if I do give myself a
-
credit, I can say no, I have no credit. I'm not an
-
expert. I don't know how to navigate this. Me and my wife are
-
trying our best. But only true God. We recognize that only true God
-
it can be done. And that is a testimony itself. Only true God,
-
not through my own understanding, not through my own expertise, Only true
-
God. The second thing we need to consider, after the theological problem that
-
we are facing, Oh, how God will move not move? Is this
-
seeing okay God? Ten minutes? Let me try and rush this through?
-
Is a God perspective. John nine Tree says, do you know that Jesus
-
knew God had a plan, That's why he answered them that way. It
-
wasn't just the man or his parents, but the understanding that God is also
-
in the picture. Can I encourage all of you this morning? Do you
-
know that no matter what you face in life, God is there, whether
-
you feel it or not, whether you feel goosebumps or not, God is
-
still there. You know you cannot unite that. Whether everything is trashing down
-
now, God is there no more so those of you who face that Jesus
-
is Christ, Christ is Lord, and God is your savior. He's there
-
with you know, at every time watching. But do we have the perspective
-
that God is there? Oh, this thing happened in my office, this
-
thing happened at home, so horrible. God is everywhere. Do we have
-
that perspective that we can bring him in the situation. Do we realize that
-
God is always in the picture in our lives or do we sometimes forget or
-
think He's not around and we need to fend for ourselves. Friends, God
-
is there all the time. That is my encouragement to you. That's why
-
the scripture nothing can separate us from the love of God is significant. He
-
is always there. Number Three knowing our purpose. Jesus knew his purpose to
-
work the works of God. As followers of Christ, do we know that
-
our use is to do the same. We are Christians, right, that's
-
the name. Actually, Christians is not even the name the Christian gief themselves.
-
No, Christians is a name. Nowadays we're like, hang out,
-
Oh I'm Christian, I got I got crossed. But in those days,
-
right, they couldn't name this group of people that were doing all these things.
-
They knew they were disciples of Christ. But there was no name,
-
so they had to find a name. So other people call him Christians.
-
Other people had to brand them because why did they call him Christians? Because
-
they recognized and they saw that Christ was in them. Right, so God
-
called them to work the works of God. Not Oh, Jesus is so
-
awesome. See theological problem? Right our understanding? Do we know that we're
-
supposed to work the works of God? Go you there for make disciples of
-
all nations, teaching them to observe all that I've taught you, everything that
-
Christ has written. Here is stuff that we can do. Living in freedom,
-
praying for people and them getting hereed. That's power in the name of
-
Jesus. All these things can happen now. But what was the stuck but
-
theological problem? Maybe you don't understand, maybe you don't realize. Maybe we
-
not open. But knowing our purpose is very powerful. Right next, knowing
-
the time or time? So Jesus sit here and I want to highlight this.
-
I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day.
-
The night is coming when no one can work. Okay, of course
-
you can read into it. I have not really done any major Bible study.
-
I think people are saying that you know, there will come a time
-
where God's presence won't be here anymore. Right now, we are living in
-
a period of grace, you know, that's why we live in and the
-
Holy Spirit is still around and you can still see miracles happening and things happening,
-
and we can still reach to people. Right but there might come a
-
time where it won't be the case anymore. We don't know when that will
-
come. Maybe Jesus is being poetic and saying, while I'm still alive and
-
here, we can do this, But after I die cannot Okay, I
-
don't know, right, But we've got to know the time, and we're
-
going to know the time times right, because the night is coming. That's
-
the reality. Friends, How do we interpret this? I think Jesus was
-
hinting that there will come a time where we won't be able to work the
-
works of God. He's hinting, I don't know, okay, So the
-
time to work is when now? Now is the time to work today.
-
Don't wait till tomorrow because tomorrow might not may never come. So better work
-
today, Better do today, better believed today, knowing the time right,
-
That's why he was not limited by the Sabbath. Isn't that awesome? Like
-
I mentioned to you, imagine if you are screaming out and asking God,
-
God please help me in this situation. God please help me, and God
-
said, sorry, it's a Sunday, I'm going to break. If that's
-
the case a theological question, now, then we shouldn't pray for people to
-
get here on Sunday. But actually, if you think about it, for
-
churches, I only on Sunday we pray for people. I hope that's not
-
only on Sunday. Ela, Do you let me let me share something with
-
you personally? Are I have stopped saying I will pray for you to people
-
and not praying later. In fact, when I know there's a need,
-
I will pray immediately because I don't know whether I remember praying it later.
-
I A it's a personal practice. It might feel weird sometimes, but I'll
-
do it. And if it's and if it's you know it's significant enough.
-
I will do it on the spot, even though you're outside. Whoever,
-
I'll do it because I don't know when more I will see this person.
-
I don't know when more I will have this opportunity to pray for this person.
-
So I better do it now. It's more dead than Oh. I
-
got the spray of the lot on me, and he's feeling my heart and
-
I feel, guys, I'm a normal human being. When I became a
-
Christian, there was no death that flies from heaven and say this is my
-
son whom I am pleased that happened with Jesus love. So the time is
-
now, and it's so significant that the time is not because when we ask
-
God to come into a city situation, you know, sometimes we can convince
-
ourselves again theological problem. Uh maybe one day whatever, you will be right.
-
I know I'm in the trouble now, but God will decide, you
-
know something. We have that kind of attitude, and I don't think that's
-
very healthy. I think if we really pray and believe, you better believe
-
that God will happen. Now. If you're really praying for healing to happen,
-
please believe that you will happen now. Yes, yes, we all
-
know theology. God will do things in his time, but we got to
-
fervently pray and believe constantly. That is our part heart. He's working in
-
a miracle. That's why we say the works of God. Amen. You'll
-
catch it. So be encouraged, but believe and upon it. The time
-
is now, Amen. Knowing our identity this is just very important. Now
-
we have so many challenges with identity in the world, so many We got
-
to know our identity. Guys, do you remember or do you know your
-
identity as a believer of Christ. Friends, if you don't know how,
-
you better start reading and learning. You know, you know, it's kind
-
of like you know, I'll show you this story. Okay, me and
-
my wife we had an opportunity to go to well, we went to uh
-
Kota Kina Balow for our wedding honeymoon behind me, Oh my goodness. We
-
were there for our honeymoon, not Kotokinabalo and uh. And it was recommended
-
passa kenna, you know, say hey, maybe we can, you can
-
go to this hotel. And we had favor because I think that time we
-
had good relationship with the owner, not me, but you know, our
-
church. Uh. And so happened. Now they bunked us up. You
-
know, I book a normal, normal room, uh, and they recognized
-
that we were from X and then they bunked us up. They actually bunked
-
us up to like a the time. It was in Sutra Harbor like some
-
oceans. It was really good. Okay, bunked us up, you know,
-
and Passa has been there before, so he was excited for me.
-
I'm like great, and I went for the honeymoon and I came back okay,
-
and after catching out my pasta. This was our conversations. To tell
-
you, this is our conversation. Uh you know. I was talking to
-
like, yeah, yea, it's awesome. You know what. The will
-
is so nice, you know, food, he's nice all and then Pastor
-
asked me this question. He asked me, do you try the lounge.
-
I'm like, lounge? What lounge? And he's like, yeah, yeah,
-
yeah. When you stay in the suite, there is a lounge on
-
the second floor that you have free floor drinks and free floor finger foot from
-
this time to this time. Do you try it? I look at him
-
and I'm like no, I never knew there was such a thing. The
-
hotel didn't say anything. So apparently if you stay in the suite only in
-
the suite Executive Sweet, you get access free guys to this lounge from ten
-
to five. I think any drink and food, free floor. And I
-
was like, I missed it because I didn't know, because I didn't know
-
that we had this feature wasted? Guys, do you know that after the
-
experience until to they remember? Every time I go to the hotel my wife
-
who noticed, I will ask them what are your I will ask on my
-
face is redic because I don't want to miss out. Whether I use it
-
or not doesn't matter. By all, Ask God what other benefit that comes
-
to this room? You maximize my career or not? So as a believer
-
of Christ? Right, what have you maximized as your identity as a follower
-
of Christ? Friends, It's a question I ask you today again understanding do
-
we know? Do we realize? Have we practice heavy experienced? Amen?
-
Jesus knew who he was. He knew he came to bring light to the
-
world of darkness. We heard this before. We are called to be sort
-
and light as well as his followers. Right, we are following Jesus.
-
We know who identity is. Meant you five thirteen fourteen says we are the
-
salt of the earth, right, and we come to bring light. So
-
are we changing the area we are on and bringing light and peace where we're
-
at? Something to think about, Amen, I don't think I have time
-
to go through everything, but I'm just gonna go through the final part.
-
Amen, I got five minutes, you guys, Okay, hopefully next time,
-
God God time. There's another part that say how to work the works.
-
Okay, but I think I'm gonna go to the part that says the
-
theology determines the testimony because I rebelieve that if we can understand this as we
-
believe us well, I tell you, we will live very different lives when
-
we can understand God more. We will live very different lives because we know
-
who our God is and we know what he can do. The theology determines
-
the testimony. What do we mean by that? John five sixteen, Let's
-
go to that. Let's learn do a little bit of Bible study five sixteen
-
or or sorry, nine sixteen, not five sixteen. So nine sixteen says,
-
Therefore, some of the Pharisees said, this man is not from God
-
because he does not keep the Sabbath. Others said, how can a man
-
who is a sinner do such signs? And there was division among them.
-
You know, they couldn't decide they knew that, or they were very fixated
-
on the law. But remember what Jesus said, he came to fulfill the
-
law. That's what Jesus came to do. They were very fixated on the
-
law. So the Pharaoh, the Pharisees was focused on why it was like
-
that, basically the blind man's sin. So they were very They probably know
-
a lot about the word. They know, they know it's all knowledge.
-
They no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
-
everything, But they were very focused on why it was and why it could
-
not have been done, which is Jesus saying again, whether it was true
-
or not, that's another thing to discuss. But they were very focused on
-
that. You see, a miracle happened in your life, in your eyes,
-
and they cannot deny this from God. But they were so focused on
-
the trying and find the right word the rules that they could not see there
-
was God's word. They were so focused on filling the blanks. What are
-
we focused on? What are we focused on in our lives that we cannot
-
see the works of God in our lives? Friends, you got to be
-
very careful. We got to be very careful because we are not fighting against
-
fresh and blood. No, we're fighting against the powers and principalities. So
-
the biggest influence in our lives should be Christ, not other things. That
-
is the biggest influence. If we allow other things to influence our lives,
-
it will be difficult to see the works of God, even though God is
-
working. Do you know that God is kind to us? He doesn't need
-
you know the blind manner. He wasn't a scholar, he wasn't a religious
-
teacher, he wasn't sitting there. But Jesus said, true, the life
-
of this man, whom all of you think he's sitting, May the works
-
of God be revealed, and I bring light to the situation. One man's
-
life got change. But you know who else's life got change? Everyone else
-
that who's around that man? But what were they afraid of? They were
-
afraid of other influences. They were afraid to admit that a miracle has happened.
-
But God is God, now, guys, God is God. Can
-
we be so blind to what God is doing and focusing on what's right or
-
how we feel, or how our past experiences are or understanding that we cannot
-
simply see what God is doing, whether it's in the church, whether it's
-
in your office, whether it's in your own lives. Friends, my encouragement
-
is open your eyes and see he who has ears today let him hear,
-
and he who has eyes to see. I pray that skills would drop and
-
you will see. Do you know that God is doing something in our church?
-
We heard many testimonies of our youth ministry and he's very encouraging, just
-
sharing you one of our young people. Something is happening in XKK, and
-
I pray that it will happen here in PJ. Let me tell you something
-
that you will never imagine. Those who are maybe a little bit more mature.
-
The young people in x KK are taking notes every week without fail.
-
They're bringing their physical Bibles to church to read and they're comparing notes. And
-
I was talking to Buzzard Daniel last week and he told me he said he
-
was surprised because every time he got to the xCE inside, they'll be on
-
your phones and you'll be thinking, like what you're doing playing game? Is
-
it? No? They were comparing notes war and in fact he one of
-
the young persons actually said, ah, yeah, I missed the early service.
-
Because XKK they grow to the point of they have two services, said
-
man, I missed the early service. Other thing who preached two different messages.
-
I missed the first son I should have God. Of course we have
-
empty gla friends. I've been in youth pinistry for many years as well.
-
You guys are young. That's why I consider myself in your panistry. Before
-
that, I was in xten. So this kind of thing can all black
-
one, guys. God must be doing something. God must be doing something,
-
But what do we see? God is doing something in our church.
-
God is doing something in your lives. But do you see what are you
-
watching? Thank God? The blind man was focused on what he was before
-
Jesus, what he was after Jesus. That was what he was focused on,
-
isn't it some of our testimonies. I go through a challenge, I
-
pray God moved, I come out a better person. Amen. So simple
-
any theological debate, there nothing before something happened, well, not something happened.
-
Someone happened. Jesus happened, and after that that happened. In between
-
these two things, Jesus happened. Amen, Jesus happened. It's that simple.
-
It's simply that simple, because Christ is upping glory. You know.
-
The Pharisee admitted they did not know who Jesus was, and were therefore bound
-
by a theology that was totally opposite to what and who God really. Worse,
-
they were unqualified to represent him, said said, because they do.
-
They do not know who Jesus was. They do not know who God wor
-
was. Friends, can I encourage you with this question? If we have
-
to represent someone today, who will we be representing? Who? Do you
-
know? Is it what we learn from outside the world? Is it a
-
certain understanding of the Bible? Only I'm so fixated on this understanding of the
-
Bible, so it must be right. Just one part? Do you know
-
that the Bible is amazing? That you have to accept everything, not just
-
one part that one don't believe the fullness? Or can we confidently say we're
-
representing Christ, Jesus, our Lord and Savior. I want to encourage us,
-
guys, don't don't don't take this as a scolding. I pray that
-
you will receive it well, because when we can, when you see and
-
when we can have this kind of you know, the side Sometimes I when
-
I when I look at the Bible and the way God tells them, you
-
know, he tells us that we need to have faith like little children.
-
Our faith just needs to be so pure. Sometice. The older we grow,
-
the more the more we know. Maybe not the best singer, but
-
when we were younger. I tell you when my kids pray for me,
-
right, it's too simple that Lord Jesus please heal my daddy from his cough.
-
Amen. Maybe some less we need that know, and he believes.
-
M H. Friends, that is an opportunity in every obstacle in our lives.
-
I want to proclaim that over you. You know, I I share
-
a little bit, but I don't think I can share much. But I'll
-
just leave you with one thing. M H. So eight years ago found
-
out my son was has mouldism, had to deal with my own whatever for
-
six months two years. I thought it was a punishment from God. I
-
felt it was like a punishment from God. Eight Yes, now I've really
-
had two or three conversations with other parents and I again I said, I'm
-
not an expert. Now, guys, I'm not experting. I didn't go
-
and study days. I didn't. In fact, if you want to be
-
expert, it's not easy, like if you go and get a medical degree.
-
But the conversations I have with them and more like they thought and I
-
just listened. Was amazing because I was just there and I just said,
-
yeah, I understand. And they talked for two and a half hours.
-
And I think two weeks ago a mom who's again not not a believer,
-
she's not a Christian. She was like, you know what, I've never
-
shared this with anyone, but I'm so cold to for sharing you. And
-
I'm like, okay, And I was just encouraging the person. I said,
-
your daughter is doing well, She's okay, she will get better.
-
Are you sure? Yeah? Should get better based on one you're doing now,
-
She's going to get better. And it's hope. All you need to
-
do is keep leaving. Who knows one day? This person, I know
-
the lot, But what I'm trying to say is that you know, if
-
we only see challenges, I pray that today we will have a slightly different
-
perspective. And to help us with that perspective, I pray that we will
-
try to also have an understanding of who God is before we make a judgment,
-
be open in our hearts to say, Lord, are you doing something?
-
Teach me a lot, show me in your word, where in your
-
word that you're doing this in my life. Yes, it's tough Yes it's
-
hard. Yes I'm going through a lot of challenges right now. I don't
-
feel great. But Lord comfort me, help me. Lord, come and
-
take Overlord. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information
