God's Timing Is Perfect | Pr Alvin Keng

You're listening to a message to go from ext Church. We hope this message

will light up your day. I want to encourage you to let you know

that God is alive. Amen. You know, God is alife in our

lives. God is there. You might feel like He's forgotten you, but

I want to remind you today that He will never forget you. He will

always be there for you. You know, it doesn't matter where you're at,

what you're doing. I always share that God will meet you where you're

at. You know, you know He loves you so much. The Bible

says He loves us so much that nothing can separate us from His love.

You know, no mountain too high, no value low, nothing. So

that is the comfort we have that no matter where we're at in life,

you know, God is there with us. So I pray and I want

to encourage you. Don't be deceived. Okay, that's one word I use.

Don't be deceived by your own heart, you know, don't be deceived

by the words of others. You know, don't be deceived by musn't don't

don't don't do that, you know, be led by the spirit. Ask

God yourself, you know, speak to the Lord yourself, have your own

faith. You know, on stage we share testimonies. In homes, we

we encourage each other because we know we need each other. Uh And I

want to let you know that. You know sometimes when we share on the

stage, I was just reflecting on this, like why do we share what

we share? Why do we Why do we share? You know, almost

like wash our dirty lenan in front of your Why because you want to encourage

you to be able to take up your faith and to live for Christ.

That's what we want to do at the end of the day. There's no

other reason why. Because at the end of the day, when we are

all going to meet our maker, a lot of things don't matter anymore.

Do you know that what's happening in world news don't won't matter to you?

If you're on your hospital bit, do you know that if you left the

iron on, it won't matter to you. If you know that your your

last day is today, you know you don't really care, Do you know?

Do you even know that if let's say you're offended by someone or maybe

I offended you, do you know it won't matter anymore? If you're going

to meet your maker tomorrow, you won't know, you know, sometimes I

feel like when we when we deal with our own mortality, a lot of

things coming toro perspective, a lot of things to realize. The stuff I've

been angry about for like the past few years doesn't matter. The stuff I've

done, you know before this don't matter. What I didn't do won't matter

anymore. What matters is what is important. What matters is eternity. Uh.

And today I've got a well, I've got a word and also testimony

to share with you'all. For those that have been praying, I want to

thank you so much for praying. I want to thank you so much for

your concern differendt asking you about what happened, I said, well, I'm

going to share, you know, one of the sundays. You know,

I have opportunity, you know, And and the one thing that I want

to share with you is that God is good. Amen. God is good.

No matter what you're going through today, you know, God is good.

Right, God is good, and he will come true for you.

Today's message is God's timing is perfect. Okay. I there is something I've

experienced recently. For those that know, you know, for those that don't

know, it's okay. You will find out now, you know. God's

timing is perfect, you know. And I've as I reflect upon my own

life as well, I realized that when you walk in the spirit, or

at least when we all tryala, I used to work trailer when we try

to work in the spirit, because you want in the spirit. You don't

know whether you're working the spirit, you know. But the mere fact that

this church is where it is today, it is based on the obedience of

a few young individuals. It is based on the obedience of our church.

You know. I think I've shared the story before. How you know,

you know I wouldn't even find myself in leading this church plan. Actually,

you know, even when I answered the card, youdn't know I was supposed

to be leading it, you know, because they said, oh, you're

on be part of the team. I said sure. Then they said,

okay, you're going to be calling them amaha. You know that was the

thing. And I probably wouldn't be able to be here in PJ if I

didn't marry my wife, you know, because I shared it before that time.

I was, you know, free agent, I go anywhere. Then

she was somehow committed to homes in PJ. And that's how I followed the

wife Flaer. You know, guys, I know your wife is supposed to

follow you, but some nice it'll be that way, you know. So

I follow her, Okay, I follow her, and then and then one

thing led to another, and then we are here today, you know.

And I tell you God's timing is perfect out timing. It's not perfect out

timing. It's horrible. One. Okay, our timing, our time is

very horrible. One. Okay, my timing is horrible. So I always

copyple in the most weirdest time one, you know, and they're like,

oh, okay, what are you calling me now? But God's timing is

perfect, amen. And I don't know what you're going through in your life.

I don't know where you're at right now, but I pray that hopefully

today you will remember at least some scripture, remember a little bit of the

story, so that when you go through yourself, you will be encouraged to

say, hey, if past Ellen can I also can't because I don't consider

myself, you know, annointed talented. I'm an average old Joe, you

know, a town boy friend Klang. You know, I was just listening

to my message that day. I listened to my own message, you know,

not because I'm for myself. God, I want to catch what I

say wrong now, okay, And I was just listening I'm saying, I'm

like, oh my goodness, my England is so horrible, you know,

No wonder nobody invited me to go and speak other place. Yeah. The

King probably sixteen nine, probably sixteen nine says, a man's heart plans his

way, but the law directs is that how many of you here we have

experienced that? I'm sure a lot of you here. If you work with

the Lord, you will experience that, you know. But of course,

when you're walking that time and it doesn't go to a plan, we're like,

God, why I was destined to get that job, I was destined

to marry that girl I was destined to do. Everything was perfect, and

then something bad happened. Do you know that that bad thing that happened now

could be a good thing. Actually it could be, you know. But

sometimes we come to a place where we are so stubborn, can I say

word stubborn to the point that we want to only do that thing and then

we actually get what we want now, and then we realize that's not what

we want. That's the worst. You know, God has something better for

us. All we need to do is be faithful. All we need to

do is listen. All do we know we need to do is want in

the spirit. Because a man's heart plan his way, and it's okay,

guys, it's okay to plan your way. Please don't live as though we've

got no plan. Please have a plan. I cannot take it on people

got no plan, you know. So I get into your face, you

know, please have a plan. But trust that the Lord will cut your

step. Trust that the Lord has a better plan. That's the relationship we

all have, right, So let me tell you what happened on the twenty

third of October. Okay, and I knew reverse BacT a little bit.

I new reverse BacT a little bit. I think I have a photo there.

You know, this wonderful, beautiful lady is my wife. Right and

before that, uh, you know, I I you know you know how

God for me, La for me, La. God speaks through nudging my

heart run lah, you know. And I felt like, hey, you

know, I think I need to invest in my family a little bit more.

I need to invest my wife a little bit more, and I say,

hey, yeah, you know, there are a lot of things that

we need to talk about for the future. You know, also because of

what happened last year with my mom, and I'm like, I think we

need to plan our future a little bit. Lah okay. So we went.

We decided to go for like a couple's retreat. You know why sounds

good, right, couple of no actually work like guys, okay, everytha.

I used the word retreat as well. So we work. We work

very hard for three days. Tonight's talk about future, talk about plans.

And we decided that hey, you know what, every year we need to

go health check because I got the advice that once you hit fourty, right,

every year you need to go and go and get your health check.

Lah okay. And I'm like, okay, let's do it, you know.

And I'm a very method person. You know, I'll just get it

done, you know. So we blow and behold on the twenty third and

you know, if you've heard the chin up show person mentioned a little bit

Bigon hospital had this wonder program for pastors praise the Lord because you know,

pastors really do need it. Yeah, we really do need stuff. Like

this and uh, and I went, you know, we had this pasta's

package. Of course I got us with my wife, but she's not full

time, so she don't qualify. But it's okay. It got provided for

her to do the health check. So we went Beacon Hospital to do a

health check, you know. And as Chinese as I am, I'm like,

hey, got three package there, let me but got no price on

that because it's passive package, right, you know. Uh, And I'm

like package ABC, I'll go for a sea. I think she's the most

expensive one. Yo. Didn't get a joy It's fine, okay, uh,

you know. And and it came with a hot CD scan basically check

your heart. And I'm let's just say that I've been a big concerned okay

with my health, my heart. I'm not. I don't look like the

most healthy person, okay. I don't look out every week. I love

food not so good. Lah. Uh. You know it doesn't help that

I actually had family history. I found out from my dad that day that

my my grandfather, who I've never met, passed away. And my dad

was really young out of a heart attack. Okay. Uh. And he

was very successful. Man, he's so successful right, he got one wife,

he got seven no, sorry, fourteen kids. Yeah, my family

is huge. When my grandma passed away, we had one hundred and ninety

seven blood relative that came and signed the book. That's how many people I'm

related to. Okay, yeah, it's huge. Uh uh. And of

course later on we found out why, and there were different like you know

stuff, and I was concerned. I was concerned. I'm like, okay,

I better go do health check and my wife does this. I've been

concerned about my heart for a while, you know, because I hear these

horror stories about how people exercise and play badminton and suddenly just media maker okay,

and they look healthy and everybody's confused, and but he looks so healthy.

But he's so healthy, you know. Uh. And of course,

you know, I different things. I won't go today. So on the

TRINITYO of Tober, me and my wife went for health check at Bacon Hospital

in KL right, and thank god, you know, for the package.

You know, I don't know why thatter'll be able to go to an awesome

hospital like that. So I went for a C scan and basically they measured

this thing called calcification. Nothing to do with Milner. Uh. And I'm

not doctor, so don't ask me to explain. Doctor Jason's here, you

know, please ask him. Okay. So there's this thing called calcification,

right uh and oh before that, can you show the next photol Yeah.

On that and that day or so, my car broke down. I tell

you, when it rains, it passed on and it was raining. Halfway

driving to the hospital after dropping our kids, the car broke down, and

I'm like, what is happening? And we actually left the car when for

grab because we couldn't miss our appointment. And then we say, we'll sort

this out later. Okay, So later on we had to throw the car

away. Another story is that the gearbox gearbox not gearbox gearbox when went to

the lord and I had to change it. Yeah, yeah, yeah,

it died okay. So yeah, but that's another story. Okay. So

God time is perfecta perfect God siving okay. And I was thinking myself,

is this a bad omen? Ned? No, I didn't think about it.

Okay, that's just a joke. So I went. We went for

the health check. It was a pleasant experience. It was a really good

hospital. And at about three o'clock we were the last people. I don't

know why. I think maybe because of the you know, the lady said

go early. We went at ten, but we were one of the last

patients actually, so we actually saw the doctor after all the checks. We

actually saw the doctor about three four pm. That's how late we saw the

doctor. And the doctor saw my scans and told me stuff that I already

knew. Okay, you got high cholesterol, you got this, we got

that. I'm like, okay, thank you. I've been trying to change

my diet. I've been trying different things. And then she said, okay,

let's talk about your calculcations call. So we went to my wife first

because she did the same test. She said, hey, her calculcations call

was two. Okay, let me give you the ratinger. So basically it's

from zero to four hundred. And what it does it just tests your how

to say, risk factor. Risk is a Resk fractor thing, right,

I think it's about I don't know, seventy percent or something like that,

a curacila. So it's a Resk fractor of how risky you are getting high

attack. Right, So hurst's two. You can actually get a zero,

which is great, Okay, So Hurst's two out of four hundred and from

zero two hundred is medium is low ristlak okay, meaning you can steal it,

go and you know, do exercise and do different things. From one

hundred to three hundred is medium to high risk okay. From three hundred to

four hundred means the it actually wrote there within the year you will get a

high attack. Yeah. Yeah, that's how confident the test is. So

my score was two hundred and thirty five. Yeah, and I'm like,

wow, that's high. Uh. And basically the doctors worried. He was

like, oh, better go and see a cardiologist in the next two weeks.

And I'm like, okay, great, And of course I was just

more concerned with, hey, you take pills are for cholesterol. I mean,

now I know more so it's not not such a bad thing by it.

I was, oh, I don't want to take medication for life and

all these different things. And I said, okay, you know, and

I'll say I'll go see chardiologist. So my first point, friends, first

point today is trust, trust and trust in what trust in God? Do

you know that we can trust in a lot of things in life? You

can trust in your bank account, you can trust in the doctor's results,

you can trust in science, you can trust in so many You can trust

on your own experiences as well, and a lot of us here we trust

in our own experiences. But do you know what's much better than your own

experience? God? So the first point today is trust in God. Right,

put your faith in him. Put your trust in what in who he

is? Do you know who God is or in your life? Or is

he Jesus? Is this guy who looks has blonde hair always like the whole

lambswan And that's who he is. And we suppose to be his friend and

we're supposed to feel something when we worship. Is that who God is to

you? Or? Do you have you walked with God? Do you know

his character? Do you know that He's faithful? Do you know that when

we say God's mercies, I you every morning? He is? Have you

experienced it in your life? Have you experienced God's providence in your life?

Trust in God? You know? Do you know that trust is easier when

you experience something? Husbands? You trust your wife or not? I hope

you do? So? I don't know answer that. Wives? Do you

trust your husband, girlfriend, boyfriend? Don't come nos, sorry, husband,

wife, when need Monkira because you really say till death doors far reday

government. Still you know, do you trust or not? You know some

of you here? Kid? Do you trust your parents? Right? Actually,

kids trust their parents a lot. You know, trust in God?

But what do you trust in? You're trusting who he is? You know

God is great, God is no no, no, You're trusting his character

right. Jeremiah twenty nine eleven says, for I know the thoughts that I

think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil,

to give you a future and a hope. Problems three five to six

says trust a lot with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding

in all your ways. Acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Do

we live that way? If you have not been living that way, please

don't blame God for experience, for what you're experiencing, because a lot of

times we how do you say in Chinese as his word? You know,

we go in uh in bassa. It's like going Charry Passal. We're go

and find trouble yourself. You know a lot of times that happens. You

know, the responsibility is uh rescinded, you know, and that that's what

happens. And it's a very human thing to do. Guys. I'm not

here to not you. I'm just here to reveal things to you, Okay.

So my encouragement is trusting the Lord. Was I worried. Of course

I was worried, you know, but I'm like, okay, now we're

here where we are here, and uh yeah, let's just let's just see

where this goes, right, And what happened within the next week, I

went to see doctor XTIV. Don't don't I'll tell you when the flavor Okay,

don't chimpold the spoiler yet. So I went to see this doctor and

and this is very interesting because if you know ale Kenya, he also went

through his own heart journey heart journey, but he wasn't that great because he

actually experienced a mile high attack first, and later I found out he actually

spent one week in the ICU first, then you needed he was able to

do the angel. Then he had two days in i c U and then

and then he was started after that, Praise God, and and and and

of course he's my headed little like you know, elder, I'm going to

do this howur And of course he's just assuring me, don't worry, you

know, it's it's you're not really sure whether the same blockage. Don't worry,

just go for the test and see what the doctor says. And I'm

like, okay, you know, hey, which doctor do you go?

Because he I know he went to Columba Asian near my house. And I

know, okay, if I want to go, of course you will go

for the doctor that did well a right, So I said, I want

to go to your doctor lat and he gave me this doctor's name. He

said, this doctor is doctor Mohan. And I thought that this doctor was

the same doctor that elder saw. Don't worry, I'll tell you a story

after this again. So I went to doctor mohun right, uh and uh

and and the doctor said and basically doctor said, don't worri sir, you

know. And I think he looked at my profile, don't smoke, don't

drink, still look quite fit. I think, okay, that's why he

thought, okay, inside don't know. Uh. And he said, don't

worry. I'm sure it be nothing. Uh, you know, although and

he explained, although you can have a high calcifications call. It is not

conclusive that you have a block in your heart, so don't worry about it.

And now, of course he asked me, do you feel anything.

I say, I feel just be discomfort lot. But again he's like,

you know, he again it is doctor Lah. And he was like,

no, don't worry about it. Yes, I don't feel paying, You're

fine, keep telling me don't worry, right, So I went and he

said the only way is to do for the checks. I'm like sure,

And they have this day. I be wanting to do this for a while.

They have this package in the hospital where they actually do this thing called

also a hot city scan, but's a little bit different. It's called contrast

hat city scan where they will inject a dye in your blood stream don't worry

safe, and then they will take pictures of your heart to see whether that's

blockage la. You know. So I'm like, okay, let's go for

that, you know. Uh. And his schedualty for the following week.

Uh. And he keeps saying don't worry. Uh and uh. And that

time he haven't given me any any medication or anything yet. You know,

I said, oh, do I need to take He said, I take

another two months. I'm like, oh, okay, that sounds cool.

Uh and then no medication. I thing. So the following way I came,

I did the blood test, I went for that check right uh and

uh and and they basically injected die in the and took pictures and this is

what they found. Can I have the photo? Oh yeah, okay this

sorry, this is not what they found. This is where they injected die

inside. Okay. Ah so this so this is what they found. Okay.

He was such a nice doctor that he actually took time to explain everything.

We had a very pleasant experience, you know. And he wasn't like

rushing. He was like, he really took time to explain every question asked.

He explained properly. And he he he brought me inside the radiology and

say, come, let me show you some pictures. I'm like, okay,

this is your heart, damn. Like then then first he said,

let me show you what a good heart looks like. Yeah, and then

he showed me this, this is what a good heart looks like. Okay,

you see the root and then like quite cool, right, you know

you get to see the highway and then there's a route and this this is

a good heart. You know your blood goes through here, you know,

in tree in the three different ways. I mean, I'm not doctor,

like, I'm not seeing this, so I'm like, okay, that's cool.

So I'm like, can you play show you my heart? Then he

showed me my heart looks quite okay, see quite similar right this one and

this one. But don't know why this This picture got to white color thing

there, but it didn't look like it's block, but there was two white

color thing there. And then he told me, sir, this is calcification.

I'm like, okay, so is it brock or not? If it's

brought it looked really brock okay, and it's like, actually yeah, there's

another photo that shows more clearrella. Ah. So you see top and bottom,

but it didn't look like the walls are coming together. It just looks

like something is there. And this is why he told me. He said,

hey, you know, uh, actually right, we don't know whether

got block or not. But I'm like, shouldn't you be able to tell?

He said, because calcification can happen outside the artery or inside the artery,

So you sai, you don't know. I'm like, woh, you

take this car photo. Still don't know what right? Damn'm like then then

how then what next? They said? But then he told me, don't

worry. I'm sure got no block. I'm sure got no block. Don't

worry. I'm like, okay, this is the following week. I saw

him the week so after tw I saw him that thing, and then we

did the procedure this week. So this is the week we did the procedure.

And he said, there's two ways where you can check whether or not

your heart has a blockage or not. Okay. Number one, do an

angiogramm where they put a camera inside and then you can see that one hundred

percent can see okay, and guys, this test is supposed to be a

ninety percent accuracy. And the doctor is still telling me, I don't know,

but I think, don't have don't worry. I'm like, that's not

recomforting anyway. So he said there are two tests if it's either angiogram but

it's intrusive, right, it means you know they have to go inside,

right all you do an MRI scan and I know MRI scan not cheap.

And he said you gotta test the area between and what the MRI scan will

do is he will They will check for oxygen levels within those areas, and

then they will know god block, no block. And but but he's got

no MRI scan. I'm like, oh, okay, then how And of

course he knows that, you know, I'm not the richest person in the

world. He said, you know, you could go to government hospital.

You could go there. I'm like, wow, another rounder and said,

you know what, doctor, maybe maybe maybe let's consider the angelgram. Okay,

and he was ready and it's like, oh, let's do a NGE

gram. We can do it tomorrow. I'm like, wow, so fast.

And so during that whole time, my wife was me every step of

the way. But on the day I needed to see him concert him so

happened my wife had to go and pick up the kids, so she was

not there. So I actually told him, I said, it sounds like

a serious procedure. I think I need to talk to my wife first to

see how, you know, although I was quite sure, I want to

do it, just to check, but to see how or what to do

next. So he said, okay, that's fine. Maybe we make it

a point next week. You don't have to worry. He keep telling me

don't worry. Okay, do I have to worry and you'll be fine.

Friends. My second point, no, knowing is important, right right,

Knowing is important. I talked about trust, and I'm talking about knowing knowing

what knowing? God? Do you know God? And when I say no,

God, I'm not talking about Oh yeah I know God, Jesus died

from my scenes said no, no, No? Do you know God?

Have you worked with him? Have you experienced him? When you pray?

Do you pray to him like a distant God or do you pray to him

like someone close? Do you know God? How do you know God?

You got to keep pursuing a relationship with him? Do you know that relationships

need to be built? You know? House my wife? This is something

I've learned, Okay. And I wouldn't say that I am at that level

where I can advise Lah yet okay, because I you know, not as

not as what's the word, uh, experience as like you know, different

couples here who are still you know that? Yeah? I saw Tony and

Monica hold hands and I'm like, wow, I nudging my what do I

say? A relationship goes there? They're holding hands? They think downstairs you

know, and their kids are like so already yeah, so old old kids,

Marcus and Michelle. Anyway, pursue a relationship with your spouse. Don't

let the kids take over. Don't let the kids kids So sorry, yah,

I'm sure you want family, that's intact. You know, relationships need

to be built, relationships need investment. Right, how do you become friends?

You know, I keep hearing people say things like, oh, we

want to build community. Do you know that to build community takes time and

effort. It's not just I join and then I feel good and then that's

do you know a lot of people do that. You know why it's easy

to just go to a new place and build a new communy because nobody knows

your past, your history, nobody knows how an awesome person you are.

But it takes time to build community. We didn't know. It takes time

to trust one another. You know, it's the same thing we've got.

It takes time, right, It takes time to build stuff and to trust.

And if we don't have enough at time day, it's very difficult to

build community. That's the reality. Why do we encourage you go to join

homes, even in church, because we know you need time and and time

and effort. It takes time, right, and that is a revelation we

got to have. It takes time. It's very hard to know someone from

afar. But when you know the person closed, when you know their heart,

when you know you know, you know them, you see their faults,

you see how they try to make up for their faults, then you

know them. Right. So same thing with God, we got to pursue.

It takes time and effort to pursue a relationship with God. If some

of us here when I ask you, do you really know God and we

say no, well, maybe start knowing Him ready today. Don't wait until

we are your deathbit they only start knowing God be too late. La the

time you're not even sure. No, don't know that great Heaven nor Hell,

you're not even sure. No, Start now, okay, pursue now,

keep discovering who God is in your life. Amen, Keep finding out

who is the God you serve for your own self. Don't do it because

if someone else asks you. Don't do it because just because the pastor asks

you. I mean, maybe you can start that way, but after a

while, don't because you know why, when tough time comes when things go

through difficult times, you know what's gonna happen. You're gonna blame the church.

You're gonna blame your leader, You're gonna blame people when it's difficult for

you. Friends, I'm as human as you are. I also blame God

before right, we gotta we gotta have that relationship with God for your own

self. Who is God to you? Right? And you know the best

way to learn who God is is to read the Bible? Really, because

the Bible shows us his character. The Bible shows us who he is.

The Bible shows us how he operates. It reveals what is important to God

through the lives of those who work with him and both obeyed and disobeyed.

Do you know that the Bible is full of stories of people obeying and disobeying

God. We got two sides of the coinal. It's not just oh,

you know, Bible only people obey God. No, no, no,

no, He has everything. It shows how imperfect man is. It shows

how, you know, the different heroes of the Bible are dealing with things

like, you know, sexual immorality, greed, right, family problems.

The wisest man on the face of the earth had so much wives not so

wise, after all, you see one enough, like guys, one enough.

And for those of you following current affairs, you know I'm talking about

its gay. Let's go there, experience God for self, friends, experience

God for herself. Right, So knowing God is important, Amen, tewod

Peter three eight nine says, But believed, do not forget this one thing

that with a lot one day, it is a thousand years, and a

thousand years as one day the Lord. It's not slight concerning his promise,

as some count slackness, but it's long suffering toward us, not willing that

any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Do you know

that God's God? You guys? Do you realize that God works differently?

But we constantly put him in a box. We constantly put God in a

certain box because we think he'll operate this way God, are I surf you,

Daniel? Do you know that God doesn't operate that way at all?

He works very differently? You know to us we wait a few years.

Now, to him, a what is few years is nothing to him.

That's why his timing is perfect. His timing for us is perfect in whatever

we believe Amen, Daniel eleventh that the two says, those who do wickedly

against the covenants, he shall corrupt with flattery. But the people who know

their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits. Friends, carrying out

great exploits doesn't just mean when you're young one you can do, and you

got time, money you can do. When you got no kids you can

do. Do you know that carrying the greater the challenge, the greater the

exploit. The greater the challenge, the greater the exploit, the greater the

challenge, the greater. We need to trust and rely on God. Don't

come to the place where you lose everything then no need to trust him?

Friends, is very scary. You know. If you do that, start

trusting him in the small things first, trust trusting. Start trusting him with

your children, Start trusting him with your career, Start trusting him with your

relationship, Start trusting him in your sickness, Start trusting him in all these

different things. Amen, those that know their God shall be strong and carry

out great exploits. You know, throughout this whole journey, right, I

should be fearful for my life. I was white peace man. You know

the thing that I find quite interesting. Was and I don't say this slightly.

Again, I thank all of you who prayed for me and knew and

you prayed. But I realized that when the text went out, one text

so she was sending but not a follow the other text that when I was,

they found a seventy percent block in his heart, the heart, and

Everybody thought it was a heart attack. Friends. I didn't go through

any heart attack, by the grace of the Lord. Got on my tear.

I didn't suffer any pain. This procedure happened two weeks ago. No,

I am sending here, fine, right, I didn't go through heart

attack. Praise the Lord by his mercy and grace. And it was a

rape. Can I use this word pleasant experience? I learned so much from

this, you know. So I went back home. I spoke to my

wife the time we had dinner or but I must say what happened before that.

So I spoke to my wife. But before I spoke to my wife,

this is what happened before the doctor released me. He said, Okay,

looks like I need to give you medication. Now. I'm like,

ok this is like that I know already. Then just take law. You

know, I still thought I can do lifestyle change. I tried live starching

for few years. Okay, I need to be a bit more disciplined.

Now I have to do real lifestyle change. So he gave me a blood

tiness. He gave me cholestero mats right, and he gave me this medication

which he didn't really tell me, but the only thing he said is if

you ever feel a heart pain, take this. I'm like, okay,

blur lah. And he was a nice doctor, you know. He gave

me a prescription. I went to the pharmacies to get so we went for

dinner. Along along the way, I say, okay, I better get

this mess and start eating them now. So I went. I got the

pharmacies, looked at me and said, who's this for. I'm like me,

huh, really here, Okay, what's so loving about that? You

know? I'm like, I saw the doctor today and then he asked me

to do it. Then please give me my man'slot. I want to go

and eat dinner. And then she gave me the two medications. This is

what this is what is, and then she said this one if you heal

hot pain. See they still didn't tell me what it was. For now,

if you feel any pain in your chest, take one and put under

your tongue. After five minutes, if the pain is still there, replace

it with a new one after five minutes. Straight. There we go in

and eat. I'm like, okay, you know, I still we're chiller,

but I'm like, okay, this is very interesting. I'm chill,

but she's not chill. So I'm like, okay. After I told my

wife, I said, you know what, I think, maybe I don't

wait for next week for the procedure are maybe tomorrow I try and call it

and see what I can do to enjoy because he was so confident that,

you know, tomorrow can do. So I Okayla, you know. So

I look at the people around me. They more conjong than me. So

next day I went, I did all my things. It was quite funny

And yesterday we met her and she was like, yeah, I don't

know why. I said me last week he come and told me all these

things and said to go through this. He sounds like a major procedure,

but he's still way he ha ha. That's why she said no. I'm

like, yeah, I mean just go and get it check la right.

And and then I went. I called the hospital. I didn't know whether

or not I could get in right, so I went when UH called the

nurse and I said, nurse, we got to know the doctors were busy.

Don't know whether So again now I'm gauging based on the doctor how serious

it is, right, And I said, if he's not serious, he'll

probably say come next week because deepa VALLEI he's busy, So next week,

la right. So and I said, okay, I said a nurse,

I can you call doctor. I think I'm gonna try and see we can

do the end today. And she it's like, okay, give me five

minutes after taking doctor as you come now. I'm like okay, come now

go now. So I told yes. We went together. He explained the

whole procedure, the first thing he asked me when he when I came in,

it's like you scared, is it? Sir? I'm like Nola.

Based on other people's reactions, I think I better do it to day la,

went through the emission process and of course he said, you know, uh,

this procedure if you want to do it a trip, you will have

cheap procedure. Okay, it was five five digit procedure, not cheap that

there was the final bill and uh, and I said okay, we wait.

We did the check in, went back and waited. Uh and at

about six pm the hospital coll me. He said, sir, your your

the insurance I went through. Please come in and be admitted today and we'll

do the procedure tomorrow morning. So I'm like okay. When in uh,

when in the hospital checked in, I'm totally fine. No guys, no

hot and every kid you go hatpin is it are you okay? I mean

I'm totally fine. Okay. The only thing was that that night in my

room. Because they're asking, oh, wish room you want? You're entto

a single bit. I'm like, I don't really care. You know,

let's any bit, can lo and behold? I went in. My neighbor

was an awesome snorer. I actually recorded he's snoring. I couldn't sleep at

all. You know, I really couldn't sleep, So I was quite groggy

for the procedure because the whole procedure I have to be fully awake. Okay,

they did a local and that thing on my hand, Oh can I

can I show you the wound? Do you see anything? It's just a

small little dot here on me. That's where they went inside. Right my

third point, Wait, I tell you in the hospital, I was waiting

all the time. I was so bored. Someone texted me, we can

catch your Netflix. I'm not. I already watched everything readiated I want to

watch. I was so bored, so I actually just spend time reading bye

bye and praying so holy. Yeah, really nothing else to do? You

know. Wait? You know sometimes in life we gotta wait right. And

when we wait right, what are we waiting for the lottery to strike,

that our dreams to come true? Or are we waiting on God. My

encouragement is we gotta wait on him because his timing is perfect. God's timing

is perfect. Do you know that his time is limitless and everything is in

God's control? You think about it this way. God is someone that loves

you cast for you. You are right, and you're you have someone a

being that is all powerful. Timing is perfect, limitless. Why are you

not more? Can you not trust him? Right? Time moves differently for

him, you know as it does for us what we need now? Lord,

I need it now, I need it now, I need it now

immediately. Do you know that now might not be good for us? Sometimes

gotta say wait? Do you know that as we wait on him he will

encourage us ninety accuracy? And I still don't know what's the result. Do

next. I feel the nurses and the doctor's more concerning me. I was

I wasn't very sure whether the insurance will go through or not. I wasn't

very sure, but he went through at the quote unquote nak of time.

His timing is perfect, and he will come and save you. Do you

know that He will never let you come to a place where you will die,

especially if you're trust in him. If you rely on him, he

will come and save you. Do you know that when you wait, you

also rest in him. A lot of people will joke in Mila, you

know after that, Yeah, you probably need rest. That's why you have

to go through this. I had a lot of rest, guys, a

lot of rest. Amen. Psalm twenty seven and fourteen says, wait on

the Lord. You have good courage, and he will strengthen your heart.

Even recently I had those wishous Wow, the life looks great now on

the other side of the ocean. And I was thinking, oh, maybe

idea what people are experiencing overseas. It is not as rosy as it looks

like. Why does it look like nicely on social media? Because people only

catch the highlights, but they will never show you the challenges in life one,

so be very careful when we go on social media because it encourages conveteousness.

you out. I'm just saying that that is what naturally happens because we have

this desire and yearning to want something better. Do you know what God asked

us to do? He asked us to be content with our life. Does

it mean that you don't pursue excellence and successful art? Don't? Don't means

don't confuse my words, sir. Yes, we should still do our best.

We should still give our best, we should still work hard, but

be very careful with this spirit of consciousness that is very apparent. We get

unhappy with our own lives, we get unhappy with where we're at, and

someone you are not. You start becoming someone that God didn't make you.

That's very dangerous. And don't worry about other people. Other people got your

thing. It was not surgery, it was a procedure by its major I've

never experienced it before, you know. I thought I knew everything. But

it was very interesting because I was laying naked on the operating table so uncomfortable,

and I was fully awake. My wife was there because the doctor said

there needs to be someone there so that if there's anything they can answer.

And at nine am they started the procedure okay, right, And I did

have my glasses with me, okay, so I couldn't see what's happening.

And while he was checking. So I asked the doctor, I said,

how long will we take? He said, well, if there's nothing,

no issue, which I were confident no issue, it'll be you'll take half

an hour and that's it, right. But if there's something there then we

have to address it, they might take longer. Okay. So I was

waiting. See, I'm fully awake. I don't feel anything. So I

felt the thing went in here. The moment it went inside here, I

couldn't feel anything, really, I couldn't feel it go in. I just

felt it here. And then later doctor Jason Jeine said, be couse,

you hug no nerves are? They say you don't feel anything? I'm like,

okay, sure. And there was this like like white color thing moving

around, which I think was the camera, and he was taking pictures and

the doctor was so excited and he kept showing me, look, look that's

nothing. I'm I can't see anything, and my glasses are not with me,

you know. And then you know, and again I couldn't see.

I could hear, right, so you hear what the doctors say that.

And they were talking talking about what they want to eat, you know,

and then they were giving some instruction and I was like okay, and then

suddenly it's like, oh, okay, good, good good. So every

time doctors say good, it's good right, good right, And then suddenly

oh there's a seventy percent blockage. I'm like okay, and this is the

thing. And again, like I said, the doctor's will go he explain

everything, right. So from what I understand, if you have zero to

thirty percent blockage, they will normally not do anything because if you do,

life are changed, it will resin, it will just go away. Right.

Anything fifty to sixty is great area up to you. That's why they

need a family member there to decide, you know. And I told yes,

I said, if he sixty, just put something there. U okay,

if ken la, okay, you know, better get it settled right.

Anything beyond sixty five have to put stand ready. Mine was seventy border

so put stener. Don't need to argue. And he was like, let

me show you. He keeps saying, let me show you. I'm like,

I can't see. I don't have my glasses. Please talk to my

wife. She's outside, she can see right, So she went, I

think there's a photo of yeah, so I don't can see or not but

basically I got no like, uh, basically know that there's a curve and

then there's like two outs. That part is the block. Cannot see right,

it's almostly bigger than every smaller right, this part, this part,

under observation for five to six hours. I thought, now I could go

normal one and that's it. But it's normal practice. Okay, So the

ic you thing was a normal practice. Okay, that's quite a normal practice.

But this is what happened. Right. So I had this band in

my hand. I think that's a photon next, yeah, so this is

okay. So I had this band in my hand. Basically this is a

band that they used to put the catata inside, you know, so that

they can guide the catata the stand, the balloon and whatever else. They

put it there, and it's quite it's quite the pressure they used to add

to put pressure on my wrist because it was direct to my artery and basically

it's high pressure. Okay, uh, you know because if they remove this

then the blood will all yeah okay, now I god k see. I

don't go to detail, but basically you will look better. You look bad,

okay. Sorry. At about two o'clock, so we finished up at

eleven. At about two o'clock, they tried to remove the band at the

ico. The nurses came. They tried to remove and then they noticed that

they were spotting, so then they stopped, you know. And during that

time they said, don't move this hand. Okay, you know, don't

move these hand No. Many said don't know anything. So I'm like,

okay, fine, right, I guess it must be a big deal.

Again I was read cheerer, uh, you know. And they tried to

open and they couldn't open, and then they said we'll try again later,

okay. So at about three thirty, right, they came and they tried

to open the band again, right uh, and there were there was a

little bit of spoting that came out. Okay, right, and they stop

again. And then they said, sir, if you see any more okay,

I'm not trying to beographic. I know we were kids. If you

see any more or anything, let us know immediately. Again. I have

no idea what they were worried about. Feel I felt fine, I feel

okay. At about three forty five okay, three forty five pm, I

suddenly felt hungry. That was a weird feeling because I just had lunch just

now. So I felt hungry and I felt guest straight and try out the

whole time. The doctor said, hey, you know, if you might

feel a little bit gaess stric because of the medication, you might feel something.

And throughout my whole time in ICR again, I felt fine. Okay,

guys, I felt fine. I felt okay uh. And there were

more serious patients around me, and I'm like, better, let the nurses

handle them. Lah, you know right, I'm okayma, or stand ready,

You'll be fine. Right, But this is what happened. I felt

hungry and guest straight. And for the next five minutes, I was trying

to contemplate should I tell the nurses or not? Maybe it is something men

la men maybe got ego, right, I try to tell them, should

not tell them? I don't know, Lah, I think maybe I should

tell them La. The moment I say nurse Saya la pa, I fainted

on the wait, right, I felt no, not faint, that's not

put that, don't put what? Okay? And then they were there

fussing for a behlf an hour talking to doctor, and then suddenly I think

about half an hour, they were like okay. Then they let me alone,

and in my mom I'm like, okay, what just happened? And

they're not gonna tell me, and the nurse basically don't mean my blood pressures

sunny dropped, okay, Sonny dropped, and I'm like, oh, okay,

how are that? You know? Uh? And then they told me

later much to my sad nurse, that they're gonna keep me in ic you

over night. I'm like, oh no, it was not fun. I

se you're not fun. Can I go toilet yourself? Everything has to be

on a bit okay, So not fun at all. So I see all

night and I'm like okay, sure, and my wife was not there,

so I'm like, okay, maybe I update my wife literala. So that

was what happened, and then I thought, you know what. Next day

I'm sure the doctor explained to me. And then after a while my strength

came back by us on oxygen. I don't know what else they put on

me. Right, I almost passed out. Loah. Basically my fourth point

and final point hope, hope in what hope in God. Hebrews eleven one

says, have faith right Isaiah forty thirty one. But those who hope in

the Lord will renew their strength. They will saw like wing on wings,

or like eagles. They will run and not grow wary. They will want

and not be faine. Isaiah forty nine eight says that says the Lord in

an acceptable time, I've hurt you, and of the day of Salvation,

I've helped you. I will preserve you and give you as a covenant to

the people to restore the earth, to cause them to inherit the desolate heritages.

After that experience in the Ico, I realized that what I went through

was not minor, it was quite major. After that, my prayer changed.

I was like, Lord, please help me survive tonight. Lord,

if really you're gonna take me, you know, I still got quite a

long w to do. But I also prayed, Lord, if you really

want to take me. I come clean to you right now. Later on,

uh, you know, the doctor explained that I had this thing called

a vessel Wagel reaction, where after an, it's quite a normal reaction,

and uh, basically the is a nerve is a nerve reaction. Okay,

apparently it could have a risk of being fatal, but thank god it was

not. What happened was that when the nurses came and checked my body,

they were checking for internal bleeding. Right again, now I've been thinking,

and your grand quite safe. Everything is quite safe, right, you know

it should be okay, okay, But they were checking for internet bleeding and

when they were happy that I didn't have it, they just let me like

and continue to observe. But after that the nurses were even more attentive to

me, right, which I'm like again now for someone's so chill, and

I'm like, okay, sure, you know better, I better take it

more easy. But as I was lying on that bit, I had a

lot of peace. Friends, I had so much peace, even if and

that was very interesting because I'm like, what lot? So this is how,

this is how a near death experience feels like that you're strongly for your

body and you're almost gone. You know, I truly believe God gave me

a second list in life, right, he truly did. Before the procedure,

I've been tracking my heart rate. I've been tracking different things, and

my resting heart rate was about eighty not the best. It's about eighty to

ninety after the procedure. And I can show you the grond. My wrestling

head right now is about sixty seven to seventy. My heart is not working

as hard anymore. My heart rate is not working and my heart beating it's

not working as hard anymore. Athletes resting heart rate is forty to sixty.

I got another seven points to go to become an athlete. After that,

I started reciting the Lord's prayer, you know, the lots prayers very powerful.

I hope that you will remember it is rare, powerful prayer. I

also started reciting something in a tree scat a bit redata, right, and

I pray, God, please let me survive the night. Thankfully, I

mane to sleep. Okay, So I managed to sleep, and the next

morning I was feeling so much better. It was very very weird feeling my

strength came back. I could even see them and eat myself. You know,

I could go to the toilet. I mean, these are the indicators

that the nurses know that you're doing well, are okay? And I with

her for I just waited. I was like, oh, I'm fine,

I can sit that, you know, not weak or anything like that.

And uh oh before that, I mean sorry, after that, so the

band right at about eight pm they removed it. They were able to remove

it. There was no more bleeding or spotting. And when they removed the

band, I thought like, okay, I think the worst or the most

dangerous part is over. Uh And the next day at abou nine o'clock,

doctor came saw me explain what happened, and he said, you know,

he was quite confident that it was a vessel vagger reaction because my blood pressure

didn't go up, you know, because if that happened then I would have

had an internal bleeding. Then they were real meeting again to the hospital,

to the whatever and did whatever they knew to do. But he was quite

confident that it wasn't because it went up again and I was stable, and

he was so happy in my progress. He said, okay, I can

discharge you already. So after that I just saw at about nine thirty that

that he gave the papers to be discharged, and then I just waited for

the discharge law. You know. Increasyss three eleven says he has made everything

beautiful in its time. Also he has put eternity in our hearts, except

that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

You know, it's so interesting talking about God's timing. So during that

time, I think Jess was like, I said, she's my pr person.

She's like fielding everybody from coming. And because I was an ico,

so weird. But I had two brothers who actually came to see me in

the ico. At about three a crawl like that. I think doctor Jason

and Tinkue came h and I was just waiting, you know, to call

Jess to call and come. So d Jorson came. We chat a little

bit. I'm like, he don't come, you know, because a lot

of people here. Because at about nine o'clock after that, the nurses didn't

bother about me anymore. I was just taking out space, you know,

because I was sitting down. Then the nurses like literally took out the everything

any once. Doctors said, okay, I was just taking up a space

in Ico. La. So I'm like, oyo, I feel bad,

Oh, Sola, you know, because there were other patients there, and

they came. Uh. And then after that doctorson came to check for a

bit left, and and then team came. The moment team came right sunny,

the nurse came and said, oh, you can be this charge.

Now I'm like, oh great. Uh. Then so happened. They were

there. They helped me laugh, So I told you just don't you come.

And then they you know, they helped me. We took everything and

then we left, and then they came and we I think for Tola.

Okay. Then later on Sharon's came and visit about same time. Uh.

And you know, I know it was a very small thing, sending me

back from the hospital to home, but I also see that it's God's timing,

right, you know. My wife be working hard there. I'm like,

okay, La, you know, thank god they were there. I

didn't have to bother her. We went back, we chilled, we had

you know, the numbers here. You know, we've reached. I know

I have a lot of friends who actually texted me out of concern, but

it was very funny because I thought it was out of concern more for themselves.

Yeah, I better do my health check. And I said, yeah,

you better do your health check. Let me scared right, go and

check so that you can be sure. I am thankful because I was able

to check. It got opened the door, it was a dressed There was

no There was no drama. Guys. Sometimes life got so much drama.

Why maybe we create a drama. I think life can be a lifely no
