  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. Chosen or not. That's the title of today's

  3. word, Chosen or not, And of course we'll tie it in with heaven

  4. Rules. Chosen or not. How many of you feel that you, even

  5. in church, maybe below what you think you should be, And sometimes it

  6. gets to you, it bothers you. You know, I should be this,

  7. But Lord, this is all I'm doing. You know, I have

  8. so much in me, but I'm only doing How many of you have ever

  9. felt that way? Sometimes? Be honest, I mean I felt that way.

  10. I start the ball rolling? Okay, Ah, what does God have

  11. to say about that? Let's look to Judges, reading from chapter seven,

  12. verse one, and I'm sure you know this story. This is the story

  13. of Gideon. Then jeru jero Baal, that is, Gideon and all the

  14. people who were with him rose early and encamped beside the well of Harod,

  15. so that the camp of the Midian Nights was on the north side of them,

  16. by the hill of Moray in the valley. Verse two. And the

  17. Lord said to Gideon, the people who are with you are too many for

  18. me to give the Median nights into their hands, lest Israel came glory for

  19. itself against me, saying my own hand has saved me. You know,

  20. there was a call and the people came. They actually came to the fight.

  21. They came to where the battle was supposed to be. They volunteered.

  22. They were there. They didn't run away from the battle. Sometimes we don't

  23. run away from the battle. We're there, we have offered ourselves. We

  24. are by the side of the action. The action is on the north.

  25. We're just separated by a wall. We're on the south. We're ready for

  26. action. How many of us the father away ready for action? I'm ready.

  27. I'm going to take on the world. And then you take on the

  28. world and the world crushes you. Yeah, fell away all the time,

  29. man, all the time, because the the purpose of the world is to

  30. crush you. In case you don't know, the purpose of the world is

  31. to crush you. If you are in the world without the power and the

  32. help of the Holy Spirit, you will be flattened. As you can see,

  33. I am not flat. So I guess the world has not won because

  34. I believe in Jesus. Does it mean you have to be like this to

  35. believe in Jesus. No, it's just a bad joke, so Judges seven.

  36. Judges seven, verse two. So the Lord wants to teach us something

  37. that in spite of the fact that all of us are drawn to the battle,

  38. all of us are in the action, God wants to be involved.

  39. God wants to be involved. When you may think that although he says there

  40. are too many people, and I'm going to do something about it, that

  41. everyone doesn't have a part to play, only some are chosen. How many

  42. you feel that only some are chosen? It's ass if God has favoritism,

  43. yes, not to be honest, but no, God doesn't have favoritism.

  44. God has a plan. God has a plan. And the difference or the

  45. most important thing about being a choice for God or be God's choice. Being

  46. God's choice is a fine line between God's sovereignty and our submission. Pastor was

  47. just talking about that yesterday. It's a fine line between it's a merge.

  48. It's a balance between God's sovereignty and our submission. Let's go all. So

  49. the Lord's saying that too many people. You know that heaven. We've read

  50. about heaven rules. Correct Heaven rules. In Daniel four twenty six, it

  51. talks about and it ends with heaven rules. What does heaven rules mean?

  52. The translation transliteration of heaven means sorry, yeah, it means having a mastery,

  53. having a ruling. Heaven means God's realm, the realm where God is.

  54. It's God's place, it's god seat of authority, It's God's throat,

  55. God's throne, the seat of power. Has a ruling, a mastery.

  56. Can we believe that God has a ruling over us that is good? Can

  57. we believe that God has a mastery over us that is great? Can we

  58. believe that sometimes when God makes a ruling and we're not involved, it's a

  59. good thing. You have so much to offer, and God says you're not

  60. the one. Can you take that? You know, if a young person

  61. eighteen years old, nineteen years old were to lead me, you know I

  62. would submit. I would give that person assistance. I will not take over,

  63. although I can do. You know why, because God has a plan

  64. that doesn't involve me being at the top, which means with all my knowledge,

  65. with all my experience, with everything that I have, I will be

  66. wrong for the task of taking over. But that young person, who may

  67. not have that power, may not have that experience, may just have been

  68. born again five days ago, has the power to lead. What motivates God's

  69. plan? What motivates God's thoughts? Do you know? The first thing is

  70. and always is that God must get all the glory? So can you understand

  71. why sometimes you, with all your experience, you're not taken and you're not

  72. chosen. Because if it's a success, who will get the glory? Will

  73. God get the glory? Or will you get the glory? So God is

  74. saying, you know, when a Gideon put out that you know, we're

  75. going to take the Midia Nights, how many people showed up? Thirty thousand,

  76. three hundred. That's a big army, right, if I'm not mistaken,

  77. The Median Nites army was in the region of one hundred thousand or more,

  78. so already they were under right. God still said, hey, even

  79. if they win, even if the odds are one is to three, you

  80. will still get the glory. You will see. You see there was one

  81. hundred thousand people and the thirty of us we won. We're great. You

  82. can still say one into three, you can take charge, craign. God

  83. has a better plan that doesn't involve us getting the glory, and I want

  84. you to know some things that the Lord was sharing me. You know you

  85. could. The first thing he did was he said, those of you who

  86. are afraid go home, and twenty thousand left. Have you read this story?

  87. Have you read this story? Have you read this story before? How

  88. many of you thought that that twenty thousand people were rotten? I did?

  89. I mean those of you who are afraid, please go home? Twenty thousand

  90. people went home. God told Gideon, tell those who are afraid to go

  91. home. Twenty thousand left. So, those of you who have read the

  92. story, how many you have thought poorly of the twenty thousand? Can I

  93. see show hands? Okay? At least two or three of you? Yeah,

  94. you think? What kind of people are this? Don't they know God

  95. is leaving them? Don't they know there are people in God's army? Don't

  96. they don't they don't they? Hey, let me tell you something about the

  97. twenty thousand. Do not look down on them. Do not look down on

  98. the twenty thousand. Do you know why? If you read the story a

  99. little bit further, Gideon was afraid? What does God tell Gideon? What

  100. did God tell? Go down to the camp. If you are afraid and

  101. listen to what they say. If Gideon was not afraid, why go down

  102. to the camp. The fact that he went down to the camp means Gideon

  103. was afraid. So Gideon was in the same boat as the twenty thousand that

  104. was saying home. So it's not really about the condition that you're experiencing at

  105. the time. It's about God getting the glory. The fact that the twenty

  106. thousand went back home means that they were obedient to the word of the Lord.

  107. If you are afraid, go home. God was not looking down on

  108. them. God was actually perfecting his plan. If you are afraid, go

  109. home. When the twenty thousand went home, they obeyed the Lord, and

  110. that's good. So sometimes when God doesn't allow you to do something, it's

  111. okay. And the next thing God did was he said, noam, take

  112. them down to the water, and those that kneel down and drink the water

  113. from the you know, send them home. How many were sent home?

  114. Ten thousand, ten thousand were saying home, meaning that three hundred we're gonna

  115. fight with maybe one hundred thousand. How do you think the ten thousand fell

  116. here? I am I'm not afraid, and you're sending me back. Who

  117. are you? Don't you know I have the authority? Don't you know I

  118. have the experience. Hey man, I'm a master builder, and you don't

  119. want to involved me in the building project. Hey man, I have all

  120. the experience in bringing money into the house, and you don't want me to

  121. be in the building. What do they call these things? Building? Fun?

  122. So how many was it felt that way? Hey, I'm such a

  123. good musician and you only want me to play the ambourine. I mean,

  124. I'm a master guitar player. I mean I could play, you know,

  125. solo leagues like you wouldn't believe, and you just want me to play the

  126. box guitar slam a few cards. You know, it's never about your skill,

  127. It's about God. You know, when I used to play the drums

  128. many years ago, I'm not like today's drummers again really good, but I'm

  129. a good, big keeper and I knew how to worship the Lord on the

  130. drums. You know that when I play the drums, I can bring down

  131. the presence of the Spirit, Holy Spirit. Why is that? Because God's

  132. not interested in our talent, is interested in our heart. So how do

  133. you think the ten thousand felt. I mean, I've experienced this so many

  134. times before. It feels rotten. Correct, when you are so good and

  135. you're not chosen, when you are so capable and you seem overlooked. I

  136. hope I'm speaking to somebody today because you're going to find an answer. Don't

  137. look down. The ten thousand felt bad. They were ready, but they

  138. were rejected or worthy. So you're not chosen? Has God rejected you?

  139. Really? Hey, patience will make you see God's plan even as unfolds.

  140. In Judges eight one, it says, now the man of Ephraim said to

  141. him, this is now after the battle. Okay, the battle has taken

  142. place. Now we go to verse eight, and in verse eight it says,

  143. now the man of Ephraim said to him, why have you done this

  144. to us by not calling us when you went out to fight with the media

  145. knights? And they reprimanded him sharply. They reprimanded Gideon sharply. Do you

  146. know that the men of Ibrahim, there were the ten thousand that was saying

  147. home, You know that they were part of that group that said to Gideon,

  148. how could you do this to us? You took part in the battle

  149. and you did not include us. Ah, I want you to know it's

  150. okay. I've experienced so many times, and you know, growing up as

  151. I did, I can do so many things. I have the ability to

  152. do so many things, things that I know, things that I don't know.

  153. I have so many you know, God has blessed me so much so

  154. that sometimes I think I have to be chosen for everything. You know how

  155. it feels when you're not chosen. Doesn't feel good. Man, Just the

  156. other day, somebody was fixing a TV. Again, this is not my

  157. TV. Somebody else fixing some other TV. Okay, fixing a TV.

  158. And you know he was using the meter to see what components or not.

  159. He's trying to find out what component is not working. Do I know electronics?

  160. No? Does God open my eyes to things? Yes? So I

  161. went over and I saw him. So what are you doing? He said,

  162. you know, it's not having power. I'm trying to figure out what's

  163. not working. So I had a look at the motherboard and there was a

  164. small piece there. I said, this is the reason it's not working.

  165. Why say it's burnt? Look at it? You look at it? Hey,

  166. how come you can see it? It's the Lord? So the guy

  167. who actually has the experience in doing this thing, couldn't find it with his

  168. meter. But the Lord can show me exactly where it is. So does

  169. that make me an electrician? No? So will I get upset when I'm

  170. not chosen to look after electronic things although I can do it, I better

  171. not be because God has a plan for that young guy who was trying to

  172. fix it. David wants to build God's house. There's another one. David

  173. now wants to build God's house. So even talk about someone who wanted to

  174. do something for the Lord. Hey, God, I live in a fine

  175. place. Now I want to build you something. I want to build a

  176. house for you. You know what it says if you read First Chronicles twenty

  177. two, verse sixty eight, it goes like this. Then he called for

  178. his son Solomon and check and charged him to build the house of the Lord,

  179. God of Israel verse seven. And David said to Solomon, my son,

  180. as for me, it was in my mind to build a house to

  181. the name of the Lord, my God. But the word of the Lord

  182. came to me, saying, you have shed much blood and have made great

  183. wars. You shall not build a house for my name, because you have

  184. shed much blood on the earth in my sight. If you read in Second

  185. Samuel, I believe this is seven to eight. It talks about David saying

  186. this to the Lord. You know, say, hey, I've got a

  187. great house. I want to build the house for the Lord. And nay,

  188. if I'm not missaying Samuel, Samuel told him it's okay, go ahead.

  189. Then Samuel went to sleep, and the Lord spoke to him in a

  190. dream. And then the Lord spoke to him, shall David build me a

  191. house? I have built a house, And everywhere that we went that I

  192. was in that tem that tent, and they were picked and everywhere when I

  193. would build. You know, I pondered on this for a while, and

  194. then the Lord this is actually another message. Okay, the Lord is giving

  195. me another message in the house of the Lord. So I'll share it a

  196. little bit because it's it's connected here. God was actually saying, will you

  197. put me in a box that your hands are built? That's actually what he

  198. was saying, Will you limit me by what you think you have built?

  199. So you know, when we do something, are we actually limiting the Lord

  200. through our actions. That's the reason why God doesn't want us to take part

  201. in certain things. You know, that's the reason why God doesn't want us

  202. to want to use us in certain things. And this word house means aboard,

  203. means place where you live. Do you know that Solomon built the temple?

  204. Right, so David said, I couldn't build it, so you build

  205. it. So Solomon built a temple, Solomon's temple, So is a great

  206. temple? Right? Does that temple exist today? No, it has been

  207. destroyed because you see it was built by human hands. God was very gracious,

  208. you know, because David did that. The Lord said to, you

  209. know, tell David, because his heart was to build my house, I

  210. will build him a house that will last for generations. Who was God talking

  211. about was talking about Jesus. And when he was talking about a house,

  212. he was talking about I will build him a legacy that will go on forever

  213. and ever and ever. Who is that legacy? Jesus. So when God

  214. told Samuel that, he was saying, it's not the house that man is

  215. going to build. I'm going to build a house. And guess what that

  216. house is. It's the legacy of Jesus Christ. What does the Bible say?

  217. The Bible says, our body is a Temple of the Holy Spirit.

  218. Can anybody destroy that temple? No? But where is Solomon's temple? It

  219. doesn't exist anymore. You see, God was not interested in having a house

  220. where only that's the place people can go to. You know what God was

  221. interested in having he was He was interested in having a home in your heart,

  222. so that wherever you go, there He is. Wherever you are there

  223. the house of God is. You see, that's the kind of house that

  224. God builds. God builds a house that no one can destroy. So that's

  225. another message. Actually, it's true, it's true, and there's a whole

  226. message on this. The Lord was you know, as I came as preparing

  227. this morning, you know, the Lord started to drop in. So that's

  228. not what I want to get to. What I wanted to get to was

  229. David wanted to build and God said, no, Solomon is going to build

  230. it. Why God will not accept anything that causes us to exalt ourselves.

  231. I David build a house for the Lord. God didn't want that legacy for

  232. David, because God wanted the legacy to be the legacy that you have.

  233. Because you want to be to build a house. Is I want to build

  234. a house in everybody's heart because you have purposed in your heart. Now I

  235. tell you my heart. He doesn't want us to exalt ourself. In Second

  236. Samuel Sevan, he details how God has always done the building, and he

  237. continues to do so, paving the way for Jesus. Is there any of

  238. you here that doesn't know who Jesus Christ is. Let me tell you.

  239. God wants to build his house in your heart that will make you a special

  240. person, that will make you something else. God doesn't want you to live

  241. ordinary lives. He wants you to live lives that glorify his name, so

  242. He can glorify himself in you. That's why Christian shares Jesus Christ. Christian

  243. shares Jesus Christ because somebody else can get to know the wonderful things that are

  244. happening in your heart. So, if you do not Jesus, when that

  245. time is called on you think about it. Give your life to Him so

  246. that He can build his home in your heart. If you are one of

  247. those that knew Jesus in the past, when that time is given, come

  248. back to him. Let him be as real to you as you should be

  249. to him. You are very real to him. You are very real he

  250. died for your sins. If you didn't matter to him, he wouldn't have

  251. died for you. But he died for your sins. But the choice is

  252. yours. Choose wisely. Some of our experience and ways of life may taint

  253. or disqualify us. Do you know That's why sometimes he doesn't choose us.

  254. Hey, the world made us great masters of finance. In order to become

  255. masters of finance. How many people did we step on? How many ideas

  256. did we destroy of somebody else? How many people did we put down?

  257. But we are masters of destiny, right, we are masters of we We've

  258. reached the pinnacle. But do you realize that that kind of experience will not

  259. find a place in the house of the Lord because what it's tainted? David

  260. was a man who had killed many people. There was blood on his hands,

  261. so his experience had tainted him. The Bible says that God's house is

  262. a place of peace, So how can a man of war build a house

  263. of peace? Sometimes our experiences maintained us. I'll share this testimony again with

  264. you, Mylon le Fever, Mylon Lefev and I've spoken about this guy before.

  265. He's a guy that wrote six hundred or so gospel songs that are sung

  266. by gospel artists all over the world. In fact, when he died last

  267. year at the age of seventy seven or seventy eight, I really felt an

  268. immense loss, like I had lost a friend because I grew up on his

  269. music. He doesn't play soft, sleepy music. Okay. When he came

  270. on stage, he wore red boots up to here with two white crosses,

  271. long coat, long hair, fancy guitar. You know, really a nice

  272. rocker, wonderful guy, beautiful heart. But you all know something. Do

  273. you know where he found his service in the Lord? It wasn't playing music.

  274. He was the janitor of his church. You see. He was an

  275. excellent musician. At the age of seventeen, he wrote a gospel song called

  276. Without Him that was recorded by hundreds of artists, both gospel and secular.

  277. When he was in the age of seventeen in his pocket was always bundles of

  278. money. He was making millions just on that song. He was a musician

  279. that played along with Jimmy Hendrix. How many of you know who Jimmy Hendrix

  280. is. He used to play with Jimmy Hendrix. When Eric lefton. He

  281. was in that crowd. Those were his peers. He had a large falling

  282. of people at that time. Did God use him? No, God did

  283. not use him. Why because his experience was tainted with the ways of the

  284. world. So how many of us have got successful experiences that we expect can

  285. be used in the house of the Lord. But the Lord will not allow

  286. us to use it because those experiences have been tainted. When he came to

  287. the Lord, when he gave his life to Christ, which was after he

  288. wrote the Gospel song. By the way, he became a janitor in his

  289. church. You know what is a janitor? The guy that sweeps the place,

  290. that puts the chairs in order, that washes the toilets. He did

  291. that for seven years. He was not mistaken faithful click, he was probably

  292. okay, I'm gonna spell this out to you. He was probably one of

  293. the only janitors who would arrive to church in probably a rolls Royce, sweeping

  294. the church as if nobody knew him. In his pocket janitor's pocket when he

  295. puts his hand in bundles of US dollars, had so much of money.

  296. But janitor in the church when all the world and its ways were taken out

  297. from him and removed through service of the Lord in an area that was not

  298. his experience. His pastor told him, I'm going to the prison ministry.

  299. Can you come today, church, Your pastor will follow you. He follows

  300. the church to the past follows the church follows the passor to to the prison,

  301. and then the pastor preacher. The pastor has a guitar and says,

  302. here my alone, sing But Pastor, I haven't done this in so many

  303. years. I don't have the right to sing to these people. You see,

  304. God had removed the world from his hat. You know what. He

  305. said, I don't have the authority to sing about God's name to these people

  306. because of my experience. So God had removed the wrong stuff. And pastor

  307. said, just sing, And he said, okay, Pastor, I will.

  308. And he just sang, played the guitar and sang. When he finished

  309. his song, every prisoner in that whole place was down on their knees giving

  310. their life to the Lord. He made no alter caoll. He just sang,

  311. and they went to their knees and received Jesus into their heart. From

  312. then on, the Lord used him in his experience, and he formed a

  313. group called Mylon the feaver and the broken hearts. You know why the broken

  314. heart? Because God heals the broken heart and you go and check out his

  315. music. Man second to none, the wonderful. Others need a story too.

  316. Do you realize if you take all the good stories, nobody else gets

  317. an experience? Nobody else gets a testimony. I mean, I have the

  318. testimony of let's say, being healed. Does it stop me me? Don't

  319. others also want to get that testimony of being helled? Don't others also want

  320. a testimony? So you have been successful in what you've done, hasn't got

  321. somebody else got a right to have such a testimony? Man, I'm forty

  322. years old. Forty years I'm sixty years old. I'm forty years old as

  323. a Christian again, forty plus years is a Christian? Now, if I

  324. take all the good stories of what do you have left? What If I'm

  325. the only preacher, I'm the only one that sings, I'm the only one

  326. that writes music. I'm the only one that you know, gets all the

  327. positions of whatever they will everybody else get a chance? Known? You see,

  328. God wants others to get a story. God wants others to get an

  329. experience. Hey, it's not that my time is over. My time is

  330. different. Somebody else needs to gain those experiences. Somebody else needs to gain

  331. those blessings. God, its very fair. God will give me something else.

  332. God will push me to get testimonies in other areas. Last week,

  333. you know, I go to work and I don't know. I just had

  334. in my heart to pray for my aged parents, including my in law.

  335. Yesterday on the way to uh church where we had our leadiers meeting, Elder

  336. Mabel for some reason, prayed for the old folks as well, our old

  337. folks, our our parents also look after they held whatever. So we went.

  338. We had all our meetings and we had we had a house meeting,

  339. you know, neighborhood meeting. And while we in neighborhood meeting, we get

  340. this male. My mother in law's BP is now one hundred and eighty eight

  341. over eighty four. So we checked on the internet. One eighty four is

  342. considered medical emergency. Nobody around to take her, my brother in law on

  343. the way back, so I told my sister in law take her blood pressure

  344. again, one ninety two over eighty four. Doctor Jason Wayer, is that

  345. a medical emergency. Oh you're not a medical doctor. Okay. Oh you're

  346. a different kind of doctor. Okay. Uh, oh you're you're your fifth

  347. PhD? Okay, Hey, don't you know there's a it's called PhD.

  348. How do you pronounce PhD? Okay, But it's a medical emergency. But

  349. the Lord had led us to pray. At the time we finished the prayer,

  350. my brother in law came back and took my mother in law to the

  351. hospital, non hospital, the clinic. And by the time the meeting is

  352. over, we went to her place at nine o'clock in the night. Her

  353. blood pressure had come down. This morning I get a message she's okay,

  354. we have other testimonies. God is going to use us for other things.

  355. It doesn't need to be the thing I'm experienced in. I have twenty years

  356. or twenty five years of experience in education. Does it mean I have to

  357. be in all in? No, there are lots of youngsters now it's their

  358. time. What is my portion as system? That is my portion. My

  359. portion is not to take over. My portion is to assist the leaders so

  360. that they have their own testimonies. Hey, you know that when I was

  361. doing a lot of stuff, there wasn't anybody to help me. You know,

  362. I went to the Lord, and the Lord gave me the testimonies.

  363. The Lord gave me the ideas. The Lord gave me the ways out.

  364. But you see, if I continue to do everything, where are the other

  365. people are going to get those kinds of testimonies? You know, I was

  366. in that fast food place. We used to do paperwork. Three or six

  367. garbage baked, large garbage bags full. Used to take us two weeks to

  368. clear, so every two weeks in it. Because that was before computers,

  369. right before the computers came. Well i'm that oh yes, before beas.

  370. Then they got one, they got two computers. Eight mega hurts. You

  371. know what is eight mega hurts? You take your hand phoner and times it

  372. a thousand times less. That was our computer first time using lotus one to

  373. three. You know what is lotus one to three? The elder brother of

  374. Microsoft exam elder brother already gray hair, one foot in the grape. That

  375. goney that kind all right? Do you know when my boss said you have

  376. to do the reporter, You know what I did? I used to use

  377. the calculator and add, you know, line by line by line. Is

  378. that the way it's supposed to be. No. I went back home and

  379. I told the Lord got it coming this way? That I have to add

  380. one thousand figures together. And I'm telling you, okay, from eleven restaurants,

  381. all the ding everything up by your calculator is very, very tedious.

  382. You know. The Lord dropped an idea in my head. The next day.

  383. I was so excited. I know that I was riding from Klang to

  384. PJ rode on my bike as fast as I could, got to the computer,

  385. and then I turned it on. And the idea that the Lord gave

  386. me is each cell is like a basket. If you put one fruit in

  387. one basket, and you put another fruit in a basket and in the third

  388. one, you want to know what the answer is. The only thing is

  389. you have to put equal sign first equals this basket and put the plus and

  390. that basket and plus enter the answer came he correct. Man. Wow,

  391. I got so excited. Immediately I designed a worksheet that made two weeks of

  392. worker into two hours. Oh then I went crazy. I started computerizing every

  393. thing I could think of. Who gave me the testimony? The Lord gave

  394. me the testimony? Can I take glory. Absolutely not, because I didn't

  395. study it. I cannot take the glory. God gets all the glory.

  396. So others need a story to Sure, you have your testimonies, but you

  397. have got those when God helped you. What about those others? So does

  398. that mean I don't help? So we don't appear to be chosen? What

  399. then? Hey, not chosen doesn't mean rejected. Okain, You've gotta remember

  400. that if you're not being chosen doesn't mean God is rejected you. It just

  401. means your purpose is different. God has somebody else in mind to give them

  402. their testimonies. You got other testimonies to get See, God has a different

  403. plan. Nothing is wasted. You and I got to know nothing is wasted.

  404. You know that God supplied for the temple to be built. In First

  405. Chronicles twenty two, verses five one to five, God gives that talks about

  406. David. David said, Oh, so I'm not gonna be all right,

  407. let me provide look at look at the value he provided to God's temple.

  408. Do you know that this is only part of the value this I'm just talking

  409. about the silver and gold, Okay. In today's money, it's worth seventeen

  410. point seven billion US dollars. That was how much of silver that David provided?

  411. You know, how much of gold one point four trillion US dollars one

  412. temple? You know, Solomon's temple was easily one point two to one point

  413. eight trillion dollars. That's just gold and silver. We're not talking about the

  414. precious stones. We're not talking about the cedar wood. We're not talking about

  415. the man hours, we're not talking about the lab we're talking about of those

  416. things. We're just talking silver and gold. You see, David was inverted

  417. commerce, rejected from building God's temple. But what was he used for?

  418. He was used as a supplier. Can you and I be satisfied? We

  419. will be willing to be supplies behind the scenes. Is it important that we

  420. are the ones who get the name? It's not he. Let's get over

  421. ourselves. You know, if there's one person who needed to get over himself,

  422. it's me. I really need to get over myself. It's very easy

  423. for me to get carried away, very easy for me to get carried away,

  424. to think think highly of myself. God knows that about me, so

  425. He's had to deal with me over the years through lessons that I've learned so

  426. that I know my health comes from him and he gets the glory. And

  427. also, though it's difficult, I have to step aside because somebody else needs

  428. to learn, somebody else needs to get You know, that makes life exciting

  429. for each one of us. You find that, Hey, I'm in a

  430. position and I don't know what to do. Praise the Lord. You don't

  431. know what to do. You know, when you're in a position and you

  432. don't know what to do, a great testimony is about to be birthed because

  433. when you ask God, he will give you the answer. When you ask

  434. God, he will show you the way. We had a problem with the

  435. toilet in the office, and you know, it was a little bit of

  436. struggle fixing it. So I was answering, you know what to do.

  437. I said, let me take a look. Have I ever fixed the toilet

  438. before? No? Have I ever done that repair? No? But I

  439. looked at it and the Lord gave me an idea, said, Okay,

  440. I think this is what we need to do, and I, you know,

  441. did it and it worked so we didn't have to call a plumber.

  442. Toilet is fixed. She got's He's just showing me in little ways that He's

  443. still with me. You know, I may not be in positions where I

  444. need to be glorified, but I'm in a position to glorify the name of

  445. the Lord, because he's still giving me ideas that I should not know what

  446. to do, but he shows me what to do. Oh, that's a

  447. lovely position to be in. We are all chosen. Do you know you're

  448. trowing me? Seven or six? It says for you are a holy people

  449. to the Lord, your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to

  450. be a people for himself, a special treasure over all the people on the

  451. face of the earth. Hey, guys, you're chosen. Men. You

  452. and I, we are chosen. We are chosen to be his people,

  453. His people. Doesn't mean we need to lead in everything. It means that

  454. sometimes we can lead in some things. Sometimes we can be support in other

  455. things. Sometimes we can just be janitous cleaning up the place. What does

  456. David say, better to be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord than

  457. to be a king in palace of the wicked? Something like that. They're

  458. wonderful Just in case we think we are not involved in God's plan. So

  459. he said this is in Judges eight. Remember the people were angry, and

  460. they said to Gideon, what if this? What is this that you have

  461. done to us? This is Gideon's reply. So he said to them,

  462. what have I done now in comparison with you? Is not the gleaning of

  463. the grapes of Ephraim better than the village of Abbeism. God has delivered into

  464. your hands the princess of Midian Arab and zieb and Word, And what was

  465. I able to do in comparison with you? Then their anger towards him subsided.

  466. So the ten thousands were not chosen right, easy to be accepted,

  467. upset easy. They were upset, But they didn't know. They didn't know

  468. that they were in God's plan. What was their plan? What was their

  469. portion of the plan. Their portion of plan was to remove the two princes

  470. of the Median Nights. So Gideon said, hey, we just had to

  471. do some dirty work. But you got the glory. Man. You took

  472. out the two head Honchos, you took out the heads of the snake.

  473. You cut off the heads of the snake, and then they fell to themself.

  474. Hey, not bad, after all, It's okay. It's okay.

  475. You're not chosen, but you're still part of the plane. And sometimes you

  476. don't see it straight away, but later on the pictures revealed. Isn't it

  477. fun? Look at those people? They thought they were not chosen? But

  478. in the end, what was David saying? What was Gideon saying? They

  479. were part of something better? You mean to say things can be better when

  480. you and I, who are so experienced, are not involved. If that's

  481. God's plan, absolutely, just get with the program. Times up, Okay,

  482. I get cheered. I'm coming to the end. There's another fifteen minutes.

  483. We do know. I'm keep doing Patience, patience, It's okay.

  484. I'll not make your life difficult. Can we be patient? The battle will

  485. come to us and God will be victorious. Can we be suppliers in God's

  486. plan? Sometimes we don't have to be in the forefront. Can we be

  487. happy serving in the background because God doesn't make distinction enough. Service for him

  488. is for him. Whether you're a king or whether you're a janitor. If

  489. you are faithful o a litter, you will be faithful over much. Not

  490. only we were not only with those not originally chosen. They were part of

  491. the plan. What part the better part? Do you know? They were

  492. part of they were the better part of the plan. In the end,

  493. they took out the heads of the snake. They took out the two kings.

  494. So you're not chosen. So you feel rejected, Hey, continue to

  495. serve the Lord because you will see you are part of the better plan.

  496. God will have his way because Heaven rules. God will always have his way

  497. because Heaven rules. Remember what I said at the beginning, this was past

  498. us words that to be chosen of God is a blend, is a mix,

  499. is a choice we make to be submissive to God's sovereignty. We hope
