Praise Is Power | Pr Kenneth Chin

You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message

will light up your day. I'm gonna put us first slide up and I'm

gonna talk about praise today. Praise. Praise is power. Praise is power.

That will be the first slide, and I wanna turn you to scripture,

which you can see on the second slide. We're gonna read Some twenty

two verse three. I don't know what happened to my voice, but I

believe you will come back in Jesus name, halloyah sum twenty two verse three.

If you're not turning two, we just look at the slide because that's

what the scripture says on screen. But you are holy and thrown in the

praises of Israel. All right, you are holy and thrown in the praise

of Israel. In another translation, the KJV, the older translation, it

says Some twenty two verse three says, but thou art holy, Wow,

art holy. There's a little bit of KJV for you all, thou that

inhabitants the praises of Israel. Okay, I'm giving you two translations, one

day n KJV and one day KJV. The n KJV says you are enthroned

in the praises of your people. The KJV says, you inhabit the praises

of your people. The reason why I'm starting with this is because this is

the word of the Lord, and it's promised to us from the Word that

God is enthroned in the praiser of his people. Now we know already that

God is God, he is King, and he is enthroned whether or not

you praise him. But he comes and he makes his throne in your life

and in your situation when you praise him. That's what this word means,

means that, no you're going through, no matter what good or bad happening

or hardship, when you and I praise the Lord, he comes and he

builds his throne in that situation, in that circumstance, And that is powerful,

don't you think, Because no matter what you're going through, God will

come. And the next translation is he will inhabit. He will come and

make his home in your praise. He will dwell in your praise. And

where the presence of God is, there is liberty, there is freedom.

So if you feel bound for whatever reason, and you learn to praise God

in that place of bondage. God's presence will come somebody, say amen,

and give you liberty and freedom. It also says in the Bible that in

your presence is fullness of joy. Have you heard that before? And the

joy of the Lord is our strength. So if you're down, if you

are distressed, discourage, depress, disappointed, just down. You know what's

going to lift you up? Praise why Because God's presence will come into that

praise, and in his presence there is joy, and the joy of the

Lord will be your strength. And here good Amen. So this is very

important. I want you to remember how powerful praise is because I tell you

what, many of us who go through things like maybe you went through something

yesterday or the past week, or you're going through something this morning or the

next week, and you're stressed out, you feel really challenged, you feel

really pushed, you know, and pressured by these challenges. It's very seldom

that we remember to praise God. Very seldom can we be honest. We

might pray, We might say, oh God, help me, you know,

God, why is this happening? You might use the word, oh

God, and you think you're praying, But very few of us remember to

praise God, and I want to say to you right now and remind you

again God is enthroned in the praises of his people. His presence comes and

takes over. So the next slide will tell you and remind you that the

enemy isn't afraid of our praise. Just in case you thought that it is

in your praise that there is power. No, the real power is in

the presence of God. Can I hear good? Amen? It is when

you praise that the presence of God comes. So the real power is in

God's presence. So the enemy is not afraid of your voice. You have

a good voice. The enemy shivers. So that means that the enemy shivers

when he goes to the voice, or he goes to American idol, or

he goes to you know whatever, British Catalan. Because your voice is so

good, the enemy is shivering. No, he doesn't shiver at the beautiful

voice that you have. Neither do these shiver at the no voice that you

have. Now, I just went to speak at X Brickfields and X Breakfields

is very unique because it's powered by the deaf community, ladies and gentlemen.

When I went there, I was the first speaker for X Brickfields. And

it was the quietest. It was the quietest leaders briefing I've ever been to.

When I got there, all sign language, but where be passionate sign

language? You know, I'm trying to say. And I'm standing there going

like, wow, they have been in our world all the time, and

I've not really been in that world. It's good sometimes maybe go into the

world of someone else. We see something else. It's a different angle,

a different perspective, a different appreciation. And then came their worship. You

know, the only thing I heard was this drum. And the reason why

they drum is not that they can hear, is they can feel. They

can feel the drum. So no matter what the song is, this same

beat. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope and uh and it's

wonderful. And the brother that was playing that that drum is Joseph. It's

got a beautiful smile and but same beat. And I understood, okay,

okay for cool And you know they were, they were really passionate in their

worship. I tell you don't stand next to them or you will get slapped

a few times, you know, because they ain't gonna care who is standing.

They were passionate in their worship. You know what I'm trying to say,

And I couldn't follow them. I couldn't because he says too fast.

The only thing I could follow was the Jesus side. Know yeah read he

got there. I'm like, okay, I can follow. But I learned

a few things. I learned a few things that day. I learned that

this is thank you, you know, thank you. I learned that this

is chicken pau because I went to Expresso. I went to Expresso and and

they said, past, would you like chicken pau? Guess how you say

pop pop pop pao? Yeah? Seriously, you want to know how how

to say fish ball? Fish ball? Yeah, it's true, true fish

ball? You are okay? This why I won't tell you. You want

to know what this is? Thau foah, It's true, it's true.

And those of you who don't know what that is is you know some kind

of dessert that needs to be scooped like that? Yeah? Yeah, okay

again I ask you now, anyone know how to order my noise? Come

on, you can try try try try, okay, Radia, radia my

low and that that say that guadma. I'm serious. I'm there having lunch

with them, and this is how they order. All right. You won't

believe it. You won't believe it. So easy. Yeah, what my

low is? No, no, what never I do know? Never,

I don't know. But it looks to me that you know as long as

you understand that, they're so cool, so cool. So you think the

enemy is it's not afraid just because they have no voice, right come on,

come on, No, no, no, no about your voice,

not about the volume. You shout louder the enemy right away. Ah,

And some people think that's the thing, so they shout louder. They played

the drum harder because it didn't. Then the devil Robby saying that you play

louder because I'm not afraid of volume. I'm afraid of your songs just because

you play hue song here run away, you play X songs. He comes,

No, no, no, it's not your style. I like the

Bethel style. You know what. No, No, enemy is not afraid

of your style. He's not even afraid of your music. X Big Few

said no music, he said a drum. You think the enemy is gonna

run? No, No, your media. Some people don't have medio.

So he's afraid of God's presence, and God's presence comes when you praise.

The next scripture I want to give you is Psalms one hundred vers four Psalms

one hundred us four. I love it, I love I love this psalm.

I almost quote this sum almost every day, if not at least once

a week. When I come into God's presence, he says, enter his

gates with thanksgiving, and into his cards with praise. There is something that

we almost understand. There are some people who come to you and say I

don't feel God's presence. Ask them whether they're thankful or not. Because to

me, the only way you can enter God's presence is thanksgiving. You can

enter, you can try to enter with tears. Oh God, you know

what, it's not family. The Bible doesn't promise that you will enter his

presence. You will never ender his presence. We complain, are you are?

Tell you are? You know? My leaders don't understand me. You

know? Oh God, No you will, you will not. Ever,

the Bible tells you are the only way to enter his gates is thanksgiving.

I've never seen any other scripture tells us how to enter his gates. So

if you never felt God's presence for a long time. Is maybe because you've

forgotten to be thankful. I don't see friends. I know there are some

days are it's hard to be thankful when things are not going your way and

all that right, but still thanksgiving is really important. Try you know.

In the morning, I start by saying, Lord, thank you that I

could get out. And there I say, Lord, you know all you

need is to do is start with one. Then I can think of another

one. Lord, thank you that I can stand, because I know some

patience this morning who can't stand. Knee pain, lah, ankle pain,

lah hip pain. No. Yeah, so I said, Lord, I

think you can stand straight. Then I continue, I say Lord, I

thank you I can walk because some people can't know my father had stroke twenty

five years ago. You couldn't walk, but I can walk. I can

walk, So I give thanks three things. I thank God already. Then

I said God, thank you. I went to toilet, and the plumbing

inside work because some people are the plumbing side not working. I know one

of our speakers, who was in his eighties came to Singapore and was in

the hospital for one month. Couldn't pee. He cried out to God,

this man of God, wonderful man of God. And he was in tears

in the Singapore hospital, tears because he cannot pee and he was so painful.

And when I think about this brother, I say, Lord, thank

you that I can. Are you with me? Is I know? Very

simple things? I thank God. And then when I go to my prayer

room, I could kneel. Usually for about an hour, I will be

on my knees. And so Lord, I said, thank you, I

can kneel because some of you can't pain me, Ah, I can.

And so that's how I enter God's press. And the more I thank God,

right, thank God that my house was safe all through the night when

I was sleeping. You know, one of our church member's houses got broken

into, stole all the jewelry, and but you know, the jury was

just next to the cash, one whole stack of cash. The robert didn't

see it. The Robert took the jewelry, took the watch, and ransacked

the whole house. It's terrible to come back to a house and see everything

topsy TRV. You know, it's one of the worst things I've I've had

robberts come into my house before. It's a terrible feeling because you feel like

someone has invaded your privacy, come into your space. You never feel you

don't feel safe. A few weeks, no, right, and then I

wake up the morning and you know my house is intact. He's at peace,

And I said, thank you, Lord, and I came out with

this statement. No, it's not the locks, but the Lord that keeps

us safe at night. You know that there's one time I forgot to lock

the front door. Now, wow, this is like welcome. And the

Lord is the Lord, not the locks. The Lord not the lock.

Okay, you can put a thousand locks. Okay. And if the enemy

still you wanted to come in there, you know it's you know, you'll

find a way. You can be in the middle of the army camp and

still he can get to you. But if the Lord is with you,

you can be in the middle of war and you can still not be touched.

Are you also with me? This is the God that we serve,

so a lot of things to thank God for. Please don't go into his

presence with complaints. You will never feel him, you will never enter.

The gate will be locked, and you stand here at the gate, they

say, oh you praise lod no the way to enter his thanksgiving. But

let me take you deeper. You want to go deeper. You enter his

cords with praise. You want to go deeper deeper. You open the gate

with thanksgiving. Thank you Lord, what the gate open for you? And

you can feel his presence because of thanksgiving. But until you start praising him,

you will not go beyond the gates. And so you come to the

courts. And the courts is a really wonderful place now, because I can

remember scripture where Esther was already told by her uncle Mordecai uh saying, what

are you going to do about this? Our people are going to be annihilated

by Haman or Hayman if you're from America, and American Americans always call Bible

names a bit differently. But I don't think if you went to a Middle

East will be Hayman. I think it Harman, you know, okay?

Anyway, So Hamman wanted to kill the Jews. It's still happening until today.

They're still Harman's anyway. So the famous words of Esther, right,

the famous verse of mordechaie first is who knows that you were born for such

a time as this, and the famous words of Esther is if I perish,

I perish, I will just do this. She puts on the nicest

clothes. Now, I would think that if you were not with your husband

for six months, they will put on launery to car like tempt him.

But she didn't. She didn't put on whatever shirt she wanted. I don't

know if Christians go to church these days. I want to put one what's

comfortable for me, but we hardly ever put onds what will honor him.

Too many Christians. I just want to what's comfortable for me, because coming

to churche, I must be comfortable. But people don't put their eyes on

No, what does he want? What is what's honoring to him? Are

you all with me? So that's why we don't enter his courts because there's

no praise in that way. You don't put on the garment of praise.

Praise is not just your voice. Praise is the whole being. I come

to this suit praises him this time, not to say that I'm the most

comfortable like this are, but whatever I have praises him because listen, listen,

I told you it is not your voice. Yeah, I know how

you maybe uncomfortable or idea when I say it is, but I'm going to

preach the word. When you come to church, you need to hear the

truth because only the truth sets you free. Maybe you're not so free today.

Maybe in your life you can see, oh, where's the freedom,

where's the blessing? Where's the breakthrough? Your past is trying to teach you,

right, so so so don't worry. You can hate me, but

you must love Jesus. All right. Let me let me show you another

scripture. Now, it happened on the third day that Esther put on her

royal robes and stood in the way in a court. She's already pass the

gates. You know why, because only in the court will the king see

you. The King didn't see her at the gate. The king didn't see

her anywhere. The king is seated on his throne, and he's at the

court ladies and gentlemen of the King's palace across from the King's house, while

the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house facing the entrance of

the house. So it was when the King saw Queen Esther, where did

he see her? Come on in the courts. So when you want your

prayers to begin to be answered. Get yourself to the get yourself to the

get yourself to the courts. And that's why a lot of times our prayers

don't get answered. We don't see breakthrough. We don't see our lives going

from glory to glory, strength to strength, because we don't. And it's

hard to praise because we're actually quite down, we're actually quite challenged, we're

actually quite pressured. It is those times that the enemy wants to rob your

praise. But if without praise, you will not enter the come on courts.

And am I teaching something here? So don't just pass the gates,

enter the courts. That she found favor in his sight. And the king

held out to Esther, whoa the golden scepter that was in his hand.

Then Esther went near. Now she could go near from the courts. She

goes near. Oh, from the gates. The presence of God is,

you see. People don't understand about the presence. There is there is a

there is a oh, there there are levels, there are there there there

are sections, there are stages. Because can I can I get your agreement

with this? Even if you were standing outside at some Mama shop one kilometer

from here, his presence is still there you with me, And when you

come in, even if before you reach the door, his presence is still

here, but maybe stronger. And when you come in to this place,

even though you're seated right in the back, his presence is stronger than when

you were at the Mama. I'm trying to teach you here. That's why

all the calls are not at the back, and the reason why we even

call you the front, because there is there is this gates, one level

of presence. There is this course, one level presence. And then when

the king saw her, the Bible says she went near to him. Everybody,

okay, I've never gone to a single church whether all the calls at

the back come near. And it's not just about altars, It's not just

about church buildings. It's about even in your daily walk with the Lord.

Come nearer, with thanksgiving, with praise, and finally, when the King,

the King of kings and Lord of lords, tells you, what is

it that you want? Oh, hallelujah, your petition is about to be

answered. Come nearer, even come nearer, and whisper into his ear.

Lord, we are being bullied by a man called Hamand and he's about to

kill all my people. And the king said that up to half my kingdom

I would give to you. Everybody say, okay, praise the Lord.

So I want to encourage all of you put on the garment of praise come

into the course of the Lord, because some of you have not been in

his presence for a long time. You think that by coming to church it's

okay. No, I can even tell you right now, I possibly can

be when I say many of you may not even have been doing your quiet

time on a daily basis. Don't say one hour, you know, one

hours minimum? No, because the Lord said to his disciples who are sleeping,

can't you wait with me one hour? And so I want to challenge

all of you ex pja, learn to come into God's presence because can you

imagine if you haven't been in God's presence for one week man one year?

You are so dry, and you are so dry, and you think that

leaving to another church will make you what because church, Maybe those churches are

great. Maybe you enjoyed the service, you joined the worship because it's more

rancha okay, but it's still your individual walk with the Lord. Maybe you

say wow, but that church on Sunday, it serves a great spiritual buffet.

You mean you only eat once a week. That's why some of us

are dying inside. I'm preaching here. This is like CAM. I know.

I know. Someone just asked me, you know fast, Uh did

did you get an invitation to CAM yet? You know? I said,

I can't remember. Better not say no. Of course, maybe I was

invited. And then I just said, you know, maybe, because you

know, we we we go to the last minute because maybe they are better

speakers. Uh, and we invite the better speakers, and then I might

not get invited. I say, elving chay. Yeah. But anyways,

if I'm not, if I don't CAMP, I'll do CAM here because I'm

preaching that it was CAM all right, and we might have all the go

maybe not. I'll look at my time and if graduation has to start first,

and we'll go, all right. And then the next scripture to console

those two morning Zion, to give them beauty for ashes. That's what God

wants to do to all of you. He wants to console you. He

wants to give you beauty for ashes. He wants to give you the oil

of joy. For morning, the garment of praise, the garment of praise

for the spirit of heaviness. Are you some of you feeling heavy in your

marriage, in your business, in your life, put on the garment of

prayer. But you see, you can't really put on the garment of praise.

The Bible says he will put it on you, and so you just

have to be obedient, accepting, humble, submissive. That they may be

called trees of righteousness. I don't know why you can give me more volume

in my microphone ex sound, because when I ap preach, I get very

excited, and I preach to myself. Actually, yeah, thank you all

own hallelujah phrase God. Otherwise you know why I guess sore trow. It

is because, yeah, which ever preaching engagement I have, I appreciate you

all my heart, and so sometimes I don't just preachi you all my heart.

I appreciate all my voice. And so see now now I can hear

myself, amen. And I got to hear because faith comes by hearing and

hearing by the word of God. So I got to hear myself also,

that they may be called the trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord

that he may be glorified Psalms one one eight. The next slight says,

it is better to trust in the Lord and to boot confidence in man.

It is better trust in the Lord than to book confidence in princess. Now,

the reason why I put this verse here is because I want to remind

myself to give you a testimony. All right, So here we go.

About two years ago, I went to my prayer room. I was on

my knees, and the Lord made me see something that actually was there all

this time, but I chose. I chose not to see. You know,

I was there outside my house. Outside my house, at the back

of my house was a very ugly looking unfinished renovation. Okay, I don't

have time to give you the testimony of how I bought my house without money,

but I think you've heard it before. H And how God led me

to the right bank, led me to the right banker, and I raised

up, you know, about a million ring it to buy my house.

I asked God. I told God, I said, God, I don't

mind a cheaper house. And the Lord says, you might, you might

not mind. I mind? And uh, And I said, okay,

God, you want to give me this house. I want to give you

this house. I want you, of course, to have a journey of

faith. And so, long story short, the bank approved my loan without

any collateral, you know, because you know, I don't have a salary,

so I don't have EPF, I don't have all those ops. I

don't have nothing. I just have Jesus. And so the Lord gave me

a house, a beautiful house, and gave me some money also to renovate

it. It's a beautiful house. A lot of people have come to my

house and asked to buy it. Say it not for sale. It's a

miracle house. Until the Lord allows me to sell it, I will,

I will not sell it. Uh. And so the renovation that happened about

eleven years ago took all my money. Actually, the Lord gave me an

extra two hundred and fifty thousand ring kit to do up the renovation for the

whole house and especially to renovate a space for my parents in law. Another

storry. Yeah, the Lord told me, Kenneth, remember the word honor

your parents. You cannot be a good past until you honor your parents.

I said, my parents are no longer here. They say, yeah,

your parents in law, her parents in law. Okay, I didn't know

that was included. So how can you stand up be a preachinger when your

parents in law are is suffering. You cannot do that. You cannot do

that. So I say, okay, okay, Lord, we must have

good testimony. So I look at the house, and we wanted to build

them like a flat at the back of our house, so that they can

have their own bathroom, own room, on TV, room, on kitchen.

Okay. Of course, my wife will tell you that, no,

that's still her kitchen. But we loaned to her mother. And so we

have two kitchens, two kitchen, two nice kitchens, and then a door

in between. The door in between was a wisdom from the Lord to keep

the peace between daughter and mother, if you know what I mean. Yeah,

okay, So laundry room or that lah. So then we renovated a

little here and there. Supposed to be undertwndred fifty thousand. He went up

too closer to three other thousand. Because the contractor really did us in life

this. My wife was so upset. One time the contractor even came in

and scolded her. So I had to I had to come to my wife's

rescue. I know, uh, and because my wife was saying, why

he wasn't this done? Probably, why wasn't there? Probably he raised his

voice, and so I came down and see what's going on. You know.

I remember told him that I was a lawyer by training, and he

said, oh, you're the lawyer. There's no defending the other guy house

anyway. So talk talk talk talk talk. He come down and anyway,

I didn't have enough money to finish. Have you ever been there before?

Did have mine? You have mine to finish. So there's an ugly looking

upstairs that has got rots coming out, you know, because we wanted to

build this first floor so ugly, ugly the roads are in ten years,

I have become rusty. Okay, it's just really really bad. And then

there's a toilet extension that juts out. Oh my word. So sometimes,

you know, in life, you can actually look and look and look at

something that you don't like and then suddenly just learn to like it. Are

you with me? Yeah? And so ten years ten years I passed,

and then I go on my knees looking out the window, looking at my

window, and the law says, Kenneth, finish it. You know,

this ugly thing that has been there for ten years. Your neighbors will find

out that you're a pastor and that I cannot provide for you. So it's

not your name. Kenneth is my name. God ordered. God ordered for

me to finish my renovation at the back. I said, Lord, I

don't have money. He said, I know it. You tell me what

I know. I know you have no money, but I want I'm ordering

And I said, okay, Lord, for your glory, I will try.

Then I said, Lord, I don't even have a drawing. He

said, get an architect. Architect costs money, he says, He says,

I put a name in your heart. Call him. Huh, he

put a name in my heart. All right, I give you the name

not novercause he's one of us. Denzel. So Denzel comes into my heart

and I said, Ohnel, Oh yeah, he's a writer. But he

passes his paper yet uh, the time being past it now now he's a

full fledgeed architect. The time haven't passed it the desert. So I caught

Denzel. Can you image? I called him? But hey, Denzel,

hey pass? I said, where are you? Just around the corner?

I tell you when God moves her he's amazing. I come now. You

know why? You know why he won't come now? Because God does a

delay one when he wants something, he doesn't allow you to delay. The

architect is coming now now, cannot step back? Can I swing back any

that came past? What you want? I said no? I told him,

see this bag ugly, say can you draw me something? What's your

what's your vision? Told him he drew. He drew better than my vision.

Yeah, now, no contractor, and that's I said, I got.

I said, okay, how much? Oh my lord? Two hundred

thousand ring kit not two hundred thousand pulas pulla is Botswana, not two hundred

thousand rupia. Hey, rupiah, God, I can give you a na

two hundred thousand rupia. I don't know how many, says any two hundred

thousand ring it? Some people say ring its anyway. I said, Lord,

you know, I don't know what to do about this that I says,

don't worry. Kenneth. What I ordered, I'll pay right I what

I order, I will pay. Kenneth, you have very You have ready

tasted my goodness all these years. You have been a man without salary for

thirty years. Haven't I been good to see the stomach so chubby. You

know, haven't I fed you, given you a wife? You know,

giving you a house? You know, I've given you tennis. If I

order, I'll pay you know that. I say, yeah, but but

I don't really need this. No, no, there's not much you you

want to bargain with you. I don't really need this, He says,

no, I want you to have this, Okay. Anyway, I prayed,

prayed, prayed, prayed, prayed, Oh Lord help me, and

God says I will help you. I said, how am I going to

find his money? He says, I'm going to put a man's name in

your heart and you will go to him. Only do not write any see.

Yeah. The reason why we you know, when God speaks to us,

we just need to get his direction. The name. That's why the

Bible says those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Because you

wait, He give you one namer. You go to one name the man

say yes, and then kimla. But if we don't wait upon the Lord,

we use our own strength. We write to one thousand people, one

hundred maybe, don't say one thousand and one hundred universities. You right to

thinking that hopefully one canna ti kamla you like playing ticamro, like playing chance.

No, no, those who wait upon the Lord, I don't have

to run like a hitless chicken. Wait. Everybody else running right, running

to find girl friend, running to find boyfriend, running to go university,

running to find money, running like Hitles's chicken. All around you. And

there you are, like that peacefood dove in the tree, eyes closed,

no matter what is happening outside, inside the Lord's peace, Gods, my

heart and mind, true Christ Jesus. And the Lord says, go to

this man. Actually, there's quite a few men that I could go to.

There's one particular billionaire who say to me, Kenneth Chin, whenever you

have any need, yes, right to me. Yeah, okay, let's

not go further than that, because I have tried to write, but nothing

happens anyway. So it is better to trust in the Lord than to put

confidence in man. Is better to trust in the Lord than to confidence in

princess. So I went to the man that God. Do you know,

when God chooses a man or woman to bless you, God will also bless

him. Always remember that. So it's actually a privilege for a person to

be called by God to give, because then you also stand to be blessed,

very blessed. So I went to the man. I said, dear

brother, uh, you know, this is what the Lord said. And

he told me to come and see you. And so I'm seeing you,

and I don't know what will happen. He looked at me and said,

passor, Kenneth, I will help you with this. I will help you

with this. Consider it done, all right? Well, so I went

away very happyter all right, but nothing came. Nothing came. So I

prayed against the Lord how and he says, Kenneth, Ah, it says

about timing. You just get your things done first. You also haven't done

anything yet. We want to see money for us before we move. He

want me here to talk to the contactor. Get it going, you with

me? Not You're sometimes a weighting for that angel from the sky. They

you move, no go, then he will show, not show first,

then he go right, get up, So get it on cannon like I

pay you already. Huh I paid you are very scary you and huh stream

firstne the only he deal with the sharks. Yeah, stream ferstny This God's

way. That's why a lot of us don't see brittrue because we don't know

God's way. We only know the maybe master's degree of business that taught you

this way. That's the worst way. God's way is in the Bible,

right by faith. So okay, coct I, come, come, come,

measure you know, and then material or look at material as if like

go money in the banging your material, feel the material, look at color,

I hold on to it no matter how I feel, no matter what anxiety

I feel, whatever it is, no matter how close. And do you

know that during the time that this man never responded to me and never gave

me any supporter, it was about three months, you know that three months

my contractor never even asked me for one cent. So the bill also wasn't

chasing me. You know it was all peaceful. And so yesterday I wrote

my contractor the first of the last payment. I wrote him a thirty seven

thousand ring in check, and he almost fell off his chair. I only

know because he told, looking up, little bosser paying, come you check

war Your boss gave me such a big check because the last check I gave

him was three thousand. You know how I got it. I got it

like this. I I was in another church somewhere, and I had money

in my pocket to put in offering, three hundred in it, three hundred

in it. And you asked me, it passes. You don't get salary,

so you give offeringer. Yeah, because whatever the lot puts on my

heart, I just gave. And so I was late really uh uh.

And the Lord says, hey, you prepare your offering. Ready, go

back to church, Go to the computing, go back to church and put

your offering. I have learned from the Lord. I never come to church

without something for the Lord. Uh. That's what I've grown up with,

that truth. Every time you reading the Bible, every time you come before

the Lord, bring him something. So of course you can also bring him

a sacrifice of praise. That's okay. Your souh. But I rushed to

church. And when I rushed to church, I got the you know,

a lady calls by my wife, Bazzasendra, I've got something to give

And unless the Lord tells me to, doesn't know. Do you tell

is ten percent of what I gave. I don't give ten percent backwards.

When I always give ten percent forward. That means whatever I believe from God

I give. I used you see me say with me, that is a

more powerful way to give. So we don't just always call clear we've got

ten percent and complet we don't don't ever come click. We got because God

never collt claise with you and saw three thousand and when the three it came,

I gave it to my contractor all of it. And then he said,

from the last offering, from the last offering, from the last payment

three thousand to this payment yesterday, that hey seven thousand, he said,

I almost fell off my seat. I'm here, I'm here standing before you

with the time almost finished, to tell you that there is power in praise.

You got to believe it. But praise is not just with your mouth.

Praise is not just with your songs. Praise is with your life.

Praise is with your giving. Praise is with your arm holding onto scripture you

always see with me, very very important. I know it's getting quieter and

quieter, because when we talk about money, gay, it's very quiet when

right, God is after your heart, not after your money. And yet,

and yet, where your treasure is there, your heart will be also.

So every time God challenges you about finances or about giving, about whatever

treasure talent. Some of you have got talent, but you're not using it

for the Lord. Slowly you will lose it. For sure, I can

tell you now you will lose it, and you might even lose your faith.

So be very careful when God is challenging you and asking you for something.

Please, if you want the next testimony from the Lord, learn to

say yes. I want to encourage and challenge all of you. Learn to

understand this principle. The principle is not to pray until God hears. The

principle is pray. I remember Paul the Apostles it when there was a thorn

in my side, I asked the lot three times, and so I've taken

money, no talking now. And then as he's going he looks at me,

yeah, like he's got this bewildered look. Then as he got a

want everyone here in this room to break through, to break free, and

to be blessed beyond our wildest dreams. God is able. What he ordered,

he will pay. If it's God's will, it will be God's bill.

God is faithful. But what are we to do about this? Pray

until your face is blue, Pray like you know. Oh, maybe my

pray is not eloquent enough. Maybe I should pray like Billy Graham. Then

God will answer, no, no, no, no no. Maybe I

don't praing loud enough. I should shout my prayer. No, no,

no, no, maybe I'm not bombastic enough. I'm not using the proper

English. No. Even with that voice, God can still hear you.

Are you still with me? How do you think he hears the death?

That means I haven't yet praised him. I haven't yet praised him by

eyes, shall yet praise him the help of my countenance and my God.

Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Lifts up your hands. Everybody,

praise the Lord together the Lord. I surrender to you right now, my

dreams, my desires, the challenges that come my way, the impossibilities I'm

faced with, the difficulties that stand before me. I come before your Lord

and face the pressure hidden. And the only way you taught me how to

face pressure and challenges is to learn to praise you. Judah first. Praise

goes forth first. And when Judah went out first, the Lord fought for

Israel, the Lord thought for his people. Are you all still with me?

The Lord will fight your battles. The Lord will give you the victory.

If you believe, you say amen. The Lord will make a way

where there seems to be no way. The Lord will make straight your path.
