  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. As I was praying for the message this morning.

  3. Uh, the Law has been ministering to me about this phrase. And

  4. it's not something that is new new, but I hope that you will be

  5. blessed by the word today. Uh. And if you're writing your notes,

  6. the title of today's message is a people of faith, people of faith.

  7. And uh, we those of us who are here, we are people of

  8. faith? Or what does that mean? Alvin? We are people of faith?

  9. Okay? And this phrase since last week, it's been coming to me.

  10. Uh, you know, because in today's day and age, there's a

  11. lot of declaration. There's a lot of things that people say about themselves.

  12. You know, there's a lot of things that people identify with in this word

  13. identify, identify with this, identify with that and uh and and this question

  14. comes to me, what is the difference between Christians and everyone else? And

  15. again Christian? Just to let you know, the Bible doesn't you the word

  16. Christians. We use the word Christians, you know. Uh. It was

  17. it was Jesus never said you now that shall be called Christians. It was

  18. a word that was used by people to describe the followers of Christ, you

  19. know. Uh, And now you've got so many terms Christian, different,

  20. denomination, you, pentecostella, you you know, Methodist, la, Lutheran,

  21. la, Anglican, all these words and names. But what's the difference

  22. between us, those that believe in Christ and everyone else? What makes us

  23. different than other people? Well, I think that's just one phrase that I

  24. would say. We are a people of faith, you know. And when

  25. where my drawing is from, Well, let's read Hebrews chapter eleven. We

  26. won't go through everything, but if you want to learn a little bit about

  27. faith and trying to understand what faith is all about, Hebrews eleven is a

  28. very good chapter, you know, that talks about faith. Right, it

  29. gives you the definition of faith itself. It says here in Hebrews chapter eleven,

  30. Verse one. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence

  31. of things not seen for by it, the elders obtain a good testimony by

  32. faith. We understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God,

  33. so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

  34. So in today's day and age, as we read, and as we

  35. have the internet, and as we you know, get different opinions. You

  36. know, a lot of us here can be influenced by what we see,

  37. can be influenced by what we hear, can be influenced by what we like

  38. to hear. Right, And it can be a very in a way good

  39. thing, but it can be also a not so good thing. Right,

  40. Because as you are influenced, you form your worldview. You form the way

  41. you look at things, You form the way you respond to other people,

  42. you form the way you grow as a person. You know your core belief

  43. your values, right, and it's it is a fight of values now,

  44. it is a real fight of values. The definition of love, the definition

  45. of who is a human being? You know, the definition of gender?

  46. Now? You know so many last time when I grow up, we need

  47. to now got more than two? Apparently, Uh, there's actually a fight

  48. going on. No, I don't know whether you'll realize not. There's a

  49. fight of like, oh are you are you into reasoning and logic? All

  50. Christians are not logical one? Right? What are we define or what defines

  51. us? Or what do we think we defines us? I think there's a

  52. very good question to ask ourselves, because if you're not careful, we can

  53. fall into you know, I've worn the church many times. Do not be

  54. deceived by by the devil? You know? And or what do you mean

  55. by that past Alan, Well, it depends on what you're influenced by.

  56. We the more we're influenced by a certain thing, the more we're influenced by

  57. something, we are we We're okay with that, you know. The more

  58. you're influencing something, the more okay you are with you get what I mean.

  59. It's very Malaysian way of saying it. The more susceptible you are with

  60. doing certain things right. And again, whether it's good for you're not good

  61. for you right, It's really up to what happens at the end of the

  62. day, whether or not it's healthy or not. It depends on what you

  63. know by the time you find out it's wit too late that basically so,

  64. my question for all of us here is what is the difference between us who

  65. call Jesus our savior? Now? I believe most, if not all,

  66. here, we call Jesus Christ our a lot and savior. What does that

  67. mean to us? It's such a simple thing. Does that mean that we

  68. come on a Sunday. Does that mean that we hold a Bible? Does

  69. that mean that we pray? Does that mean that we swing in tongues?

  70. Does that mean where we sing songs that praise God? What does that mean

  71. to us? Right? Faith, substance of things, hope for evidence of

  72. things not seen for by it? The elders obtain a good testimony. Let's

  73. go a little bit deeper, you guys. Okay, So the question is

  74. who are we as a people of God? So we we? We said,

  75. okay, I believe in Jesus. So therefore now my title is Christian

  76. because I follow Christ? Right? And then what should I do? Or

  77. gola? What else? Right? First fitter two nine ten says, but

  78. you are chosen generation a royal priesthood. And this is new Testimonal, guys,

  79. not old Testimona. This new Testimona, generation a royal priesthood, a

  80. holy nation, his own special people. They didn't say a lot special.

  81. Yeah, that's why we use the word special, that you may proclaim the

  82. praises of Him who called you out of darkness? Did the Lord call you

  83. out of darkness? Actually? Perving My life was very okay? You know

  84. before this the more I know Jesus, the more society becomes somehow, you

  85. might say, he called you out of darkness, sir, And sometimes this

  86. darkness is not just any darkness. This darkness is you just didn't know.

  87. You don't see it. You know. Have we talked to someone before and

  88. they just don't see it? You knowe what I mean? They just don't

  89. see it. They just don't understand. He've called you out of darkness into

  90. his motherless light so that things will be revealed to you. Who once were

  91. not a people but now but are now the people of God. That is

  92. a very interesting phrase. You know a lot of us here. We were

  93. strangers before we came here. But as you go to homes, as you

  94. come to church, become friends, become family, become part of a community.

  95. Right, So when people say I don't feel connected and no community and

  96. I want to move to another place, I don't understand, because we've been

  97. doing life for many years. What do you mean? Why no community?

  98. No, we are the community. We were one strangers, but we are

  99. now the people of God. Right. You know, who have not obtained

  100. mercy but now have obtained mercy. What does that mean? Well, before

  101. you were a believer, Where were you going to ask for mercy when you

  102. did something in your life? But now we have obtained mercy and we go

  103. to God. When we make mistakes, we go to God. When we

  104. need to ask forgiveness, we go to God. First off, you know,

  105. do you know that if you come to me and ask for mercy,

  106. I cannot do anything for you. I'm just a human being. I will

  107. have to go to God in your behalf. Well, you better you go

  108. to God yourself. Azolla. We don't have mercy, but now we have,

  109. we are chosen generally. What does that mean? God chows you a

  110. royal priesthood? Do you know what priest does? Priest intercedes on behalf of

  111. others. That's what the priest does. He is not just only for clergy.

  112. No, not clergy the word pastors, elders, No, no,

  113. all of us here, royal priesthood, a holy nation? Why does he

  114. have to say? Holy nation? Nation has lost? Holy means separated,

  115. Holy means set apart, Holy means we don't do things other people do.

  116. Right? One scripture is so much truth Hebrews chapter eleven, verse says six

  117. says, but without faith, it is impossible to priest him, Oh God,

  118. for he who comes to God must believe that he is. When Moses

  119. met the burning bush and asks, what is your name? What was the

  120. reply? I am who? I am? Wah? What does that mean?

  121. He doesn't need a name because he is God exists, He is.

  122. We cannot comprehend him, and men, true the years have tried so hard

  123. to put God in a box, give it a name, give it,

  124. you know, have a certain ways of you know, we stuff him in

  125. a box. But God is beyond us. I've shared before that when Jesus

  126. came and he healed people, he healed blind people a lot, no,

  127. but all different ways. One he just tells you that he's God. He

  128. can't do it anyhow. But men, we always want to have a solution

  129. away, and He made a way for us through Christ, only true Christ.

  130. Right. It is impossible to please God. You want to pea scot

  131. this morning? Do you know that this is impossible? Please God? You've

  132. got no faith. If you just rely on logic and reason, if you

  133. just rely on rules, you can't please God. This is what the Bible

  134. says, not why I say you need faith to please God. For he

  135. who comes to God must believe. It's a musknow must believe. Do you

  136. believe? Or is Christianity just a set of practices and rules? Or do

  137. you really believe that Jesus died for your sins? It's a good question ask

  138. ourselves. Am I a Christian just because my parents are Christians? Or do

  139. I really believe? I mean, I'm a second generation Christian? Right.

  140. I know that God is ray in my life. I've experienced him, and

  141. that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. When you pray

  142. in faith, do you believe that God will reward you? Or we always

  143. have this reason? Maybe God has other plans. Guys. It's very clear

  144. in the Bible he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. That's

  145. a word that diligent. Are we diligion? I know it's quite it sounds

  146. quite deep. I don't worry. I'm getting somewhere. Let's I'm not going

  147. to read it, but let's just maybe study a little bit about other people

  148. who have faith, other people that the Bible says are people of faith.

  149. Okay. In Hebrews chapter eleven, and I'm gonna read from verse four,

  150. he says by faith, Able offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Kane,

  151. through which he obtained witness that he was righteous God testifying of his gifts,

  152. and through it, he, being dead, Hell speak, still speaks.

  153. By faith. Eno was taken away so that he did not see death

  154. and was not found because God had taken him, or before he was taken,

  155. he had his testimony that he pleased God. But without faith it is

  156. impossible to please him. For he who comes to God must believe that he

  157. is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him by faith.

  158. Noah, we all know this story, being divining, one of things

  159. not yet seen. In moved with God fear. Godly fear prepared an art

  160. for saving of the household, by which he condemned the world and became heir

  161. of the righteousness, which is according to faith. That is a There is

  162. a a replica of Noah's up in Hong Kong. It's a museum. I

  163. wanted to go and see it when I went there, but you know,

  164. me and Wire didn't go. It's a replica, an actual replica, and

  165. of course it's a museum law, so you know, pay money, go

  166. and see this guy named Noah did something crazy. You know, he believed

  167. that the world is going to flirt, and he built a big boat.

  168. And the big boat right he must you must think you know. It took

  169. dedication and years now, and I wouldn't blame people for thinking he's crazy.

  170. Of course, now we're like, oh, you know Noah, you know

  171. maybe when I was there, No, think about it. No, it's

  172. a huge boat. Now. And imagine one of you here suddenly received from

  173. the Lord. I mean, I don't know whether you saw Bruce or my

  174. te the movie or not. Okay, of course it was a little bit

  175. far fetch lart. Okay, if you receive a craziness from low, are

  176. you going to believe or not? That's a question. Do we have faith

  177. or not. There are some things in our life that are not crazy that

  178. God has told us that we don't believe. You know, what about the

  179. outlandish things that God will tell you, People probably think you're crazy. That's

  180. what they thought. Noah was right. Hebrews eleven mentioned people of faith able

  181. in Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Joshua, the walls of Jericho.

  182. I thought about it. No, it's easy to read a story about

  183. a miracle and go, yeah, you know, I believe in God.

  184. I'm sure I'm going to do it. But it's another thing to think about

  185. it this way. It's war. This is impenetrable walls. And the solution

  186. that God has given you is walk around seven times and blow your trumpets,

  187. really it out and make a lot of noise. That's it. It wasn't

  188. you know as you go put you know, put I don't know, script

  189. the rock or you know something I don't know. It was just go around

  190. and blow the trumpet horn and the walls will come down. And that's what

  191. happened. While the people really have a lot of faith in do you know

  192. so? Question? Okay, you can read the rest yourself. What is

  193. the one unifying factor about all these people? They believed even without seeing.

  194. They did it first, and then it happened. They walked first, and

  195. then it happened John twenty twenty nine. When Jesus addressed Thomas, after he

  196. saw Jesus and Jesus showed his hands, Jesus said to him, Thomas,

  197. because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have

  198. not seen and yet believed. Right, we have believed, and we have

  199. not saw seen Jesus. I don't know something you maybe you have seen Jesus,

  200. like if you have praise Scott. I have not seen Jesus yet.

  201. He didn't appear in a dream. I don't think he looked like all the

  202. depictions of Jesus that look like a white guy with blonde hair and only wear

  203. rad and white. I don't think he looks like that. Apparently Jesus looks

  204. very normal. I recently saw a picture and I think it was a joke.

  205. He said, oh, you know, some Ai thing managed to do

  206. a picture of Jesus and he looks like Ben Diesel. I think it's a

  207. joke. Like, okay, I don't think it's real. We believe,

  208. Amen, we have faith. This statement we are people of faith is so

  209. precious to us. Why do we pray? Think about it? Why do

  210. we come to church? Why do we go to Holmes? I know different

  211. ones might do it different for different reasons. Are because people a nice?

  212. No? But but why why do we do the things we do? Because

  213. we have faith? Your catch stand on it changes the way your approaching you

  214. know, it changes the way do you know that you're here? Because you

  215. have faith, not actually away. I'm here because my friends are My friends

  216. are here, I won't be here ready. I hope that's not your reason

  217. now, right? Why do you pray? Why? Why do I encourage

  218. you to pray? Oh? I scart to pray? Because no, no,

  219. no, don't you start to pray? Pray and have faith that God

  220. will answer the prayer. We gotta we gotta know that when we act in

  221. faith, we please God because we trust him. It's not just about logic.

  222. Guys, if we if we rely on logic and reason only, it's

  223. hard to please God. If I were to rely on logic and reason,

  224. I wouldn't went to a NEXTBJ Can I be honest? Do you know it's

  225. not easy? Do you know that we started with six people and out of

  226. the six tree not here anymore? Right? They will awesome? Beople?

  227. Right? And And did I know that one day I'll be a pastor?

  228. And then I know that one day I would have all you sitting here,

  229. and I'll be honest, stay shocking. I had no idea. All I

  230. had was faith. God say do dula, God say do doula Amen?

  231. So what is God telling you today to do? It doesn't have to be

  232. a big thing, guys, some nice, very small thing. Say sorry

  233. to your father. Never have faith? Is he asking you say no to

  234. the relationship? But then if I say no, I will be single for

  235. life? Have faith? Have faith? Someone love way around? You know,

  236. we do a lot of things right for a lot of reasons. But

  237. how much or what have we done because of faith? Because we believe God

  238. says so? Therefore it is? How many times have we reached that stage?

  239. You know? It's not easy. Can I be honest? It's not

  240. easy. It's not easy to leave a lot of faith. But read and

  241. be encouraged by the people in the Bible that all did things because of faith.

  242. We can read it and go ah, man, you know, do

  243. you know that if you know the end of the story, it's not faith

  244. anymore because you read Oma. But because you don't know, it takes faith.

  245. No, it takes faith to do something for the Lord. Don't just

  246. do anything crazy, guys, Please, don't just do anything crazy. We

  247. are people of faith. Have we thought about it before? We do a

  248. lot of things because of faith. Extreme practices and comes on this stage and

  249. worships because of faith because they believe that truely they are worship. People get

  250. healed, people be ministered too, not because of their talent, not because

  251. of their skill, but because God is here. It is by faith,

  252. right that we pray. Is by faith that I preach. Not because of

  253. my talent and my eloquence and my charisma. No, because of the Holy

  254. Spirit, the evidence of things unseen. Sorry, I mean it's quoted that

  255. substance of things for yes, and the evidence of things not seen, cannot

  256. see, have not seen Jesus, show me, show me Christ, show

  257. me his hands, show me his dead body. Then I believe no faith

  258. really, But all of you here who believed, you have faith, now

  259. grow that faith. How real is Christ in your life? Yes? He

  260. did what he did long time ago, but he's alive today. Holy Spirit

  261. is here. What else can he do in your life? How is God

  262. real to us today? And he said here for by it the elders obtained

  263. a good testimony. Can I show you something interesting that I caught from the

  264. Lord? Okay? I always thought that when I act in faith and I

  265. followed all these people, I will get a good testimony for everyone here.

  266. Oh you know so that past Elvin when he got stories of testimony. I

  267. can be a good testimony to you all. I am mistaken with that command.

  268. I obtain a good testimony not for your sake, but to God,

  269. because when God sees me as his child, he says he has a good

  270. testimony in my book. I please other people for what I won't get anything

  271. out of that, But I please God, and I show God that I

  272. have a good testimony to him. I am accountable to him, my father

  273. in heaven. So I need to show him that I have a good testimony

  274. so that he knows that his son listens to him, trust him, and

  275. will do things to obey him even though I cannot see what's happening. So

  276. the good testimony is not just for all you know, Christian good testimony for

  277. everybody. But hey, the even greater thing is that I'm having a good

  278. testimony for God. He sees me. He will look at me and say,

  279. this is my son. That's good. I want that can't testimony to

  280. God? Right? Have we thought about it before or not? You know?

  281. We we we you know somethime when it comes to God, right,

  282. I hope that we don't or not that you know, sometime when we come

  283. to God, we can take him for granted, I got you understand now

  284. you know I mean thing of your Okay, some people he are not parents

  285. by your parents, you can understand this. Imagine you have a child,

  286. you have one child that always want to please, you, always want to

  287. obey, you always want to do everything. Don't you think you'll be well

  288. pleased a child? And even child or everything you say? And then somehow

  289. the child know that you will forgive one but will try and press you out

  290. until you like Do you think if we will please it that child? You

  291. won't hear that child? You won't Maybe you'll punish, but for what so

  292. that the child will grow and learn? Right? That's God. I pray

  293. we will look at God differently today. And when we hay faith, it's

  294. not for the sake of the pastor or the church or the people. No,

  295. no, it's for God that we have faith because we want to please

  296. Him. So sorry, no point pleasing over you here. I better please

  297. God. First, police men won't get anything one maybe some patter in the

  298. back and that's it. Like, but pleasing God is a different story.

  299. I want to please God. Amen. A good testimony to whom to God?

  300. As they believed in God, they obtain a good testimony. I want

  301. to obtain a good testimony. Hebrews child want to says, we are surrounded

  302. by a cloud of witnesses. Let us look to Jesus as we continue to

  303. run these stories with endurance. Taking Jesus example as he endured the cross wall,

  304. say wow, the culmination of everything is Christ. He is the example

  305. that we follow because by faith, he died on the cross, you know

  306. what, That's why he did. He also acted in faith right, and

  307. his encouragement to us, we are surrounded by a clouds. We are not

  308. doing this journey alone. A lot of people have gone before us, A

  309. lot of Christians have gone before a lot of people that have followed Christ.

  310. The Bible is full of stories of people of faith that have done the things

  311. they've done because they believe why as an example to us today, So let's

  312. not take that for granted. Right, Let's not take that for granted.

  313. Let's not take the sacrifices of the people before us for granted. Let us

  314. continue to run these stories with endurance because it's gonna get harder and harder.

  315. The message is gonna get more and more. Right, We're gonna have this

  316. is a fight now, guys, Fight for your attention, fight for your

  317. mind, fight for your values. What do you believe in today? And

  318. whatever you believe in you will be persecuted. The Bible really said, he

  319. why do we still so so not sure? People are not going to be

  320. your friend just because you believe in the Bible. But I still want to

  321. be Averybady's friend. It's going to be harder and harder for you to do

  322. that. Right now, I think I just want to be Jesus friend.

  323. Jesus, you are my best friend. Sing that song right, but please

  324. treat Jesus properly, La, because it's not just your friend. He's your

  325. savior and God. Don't treat him like your friend. Time feel skeatal people

  326. treat the way we treat our friends. Taking Jesus example, as he endeared

  327. the cross, will say, do you know that it takes faith to believe

  328. that Christ died for you since and that you need forgiveness from him. You

  329. can see Jesus. Man, prove to me now none of us have seen

  330. him. You know if you have great, La, it takes faith,

  331. for we walk by faith and not by sight. Second Corinthians five seventeen says

  332. It's such a simple line, but it's so profound. We do things because

  333. of faith, not because of it makes sense, not because this is the

  334. best known. We do things by faith. Why do I pray for my

  335. child because of faith? I believe that God can work in his life.

  336. Right. Why do I read the Bible? I believe that God will speak

  337. to me. It's by faith, and then when I experience it, I

  338. get encouraged to do it more because then the faith is working and it's bearing

  339. fruit. You know. Can I tell you exactly how it's done. I

  340. can't really tell you. I just say God speaks to me. How do

  341. you hear? Did God speak to you in the audible voice? Well,

  342. some people can hear that, some people can't. I can't. By no,

  343. God speaks from me. Why because every time I follow it he speaks,

  344. something happens. So it must be truela to me. But I took

  345. my faith. Amen. I really hope you guys are catching something from this.

  346. So my question is how is your walk we've got today? It's a

  347. walk, you know, every day walking? Are we experiencing God in our

  348. lives today? Christianity is not a dead religion. No, it's not even

  349. a religion is a relationship. Okay, okay. Believing in Christ as it

  350. is, it brings life. That is something that is a parent Amen,

  351. Romans eight fourteen. Some things it's for as many as are led by the

  352. Spirit of God, These are the sons of God. For you did not

  353. receive the spirit of bondage again to fear. Friends, if you have fear

  354. in your life, you did not receive the spirit of fear. We receive

  355. the spirit of adoption of by whom we cry our Bah, Father, Father

  356. God. The spirit himself is bad. Witness with our spirit that we are

  357. children of God. And if children, then heirs errors of God and join

  358. us with Christ. If indeed we suffer with him, then we may also

  359. be glorified together. So much weight in that scripture. Do you know that

  360. your God's children? Do you know that your people of faith? Do you

  361. know that you don't just run things because of the values of the world.

  362. Do you know that you decide and you act differently because of the word of

  363. God and because of how the Holy Spirit leads us? Do we know that?

  364. Because if you know that and you practice it, you experience God in

  365. your life. But if you've not, then what have been the core of

  366. your values? And can I encourage you not your fault entirely, because the

  367. world is our one thing to deceive you, one thing to give you ideas,

  368. one thing to share new things, one thing to give you what makes

  369. sense? He thought? Does some made sense? But she was deceived.

  370. That's where we are today. So what is it that we're subscribing to?

  371. Are we subscribing more the word of God? Are we subscribing more to something

  372. outside? I pray that we will subscribe more to the word of God.

  373. God. The word of God is truth, it is powerful. Amen.

  374. And this is a God that wants to have a relationship with us. He

  375. does. He wants to have a relationship with us his creation. Amen.

  376. Let me share two testimonias before I continue. Okay, for those who don't

  377. know, I am a father of a child with autism. Okay, right,

  378. and uh, sorry, shot, A lot has happened and right now,

  379. we like through our church, Uh, we're able to help other families.

  380. And uh, we've also started a society and we've started doing like a

  381. like a like a conference every year. Okay. That that's a very strategic

  382. reason why we do conference. That Okay, I won't go too deep into

  383. that, but basically this year was our second. You're doing it, and

  384. well it's not my day job, my guys, so to do this it

  385. takes a lot more effort, right and and and uh, and we'll pray

  386. for two things or believing for two things, because we need we needed a

  387. main speaker, and we needed a venue. La Okay, we need a

  388. place to be. And again we've got no funds and we have a society

  389. and geo nonprofit okay and uh. Since February we were looking right of course

  390. we got you know dv C C and then now dv C don't have and

  391. different things now okay, and and up all the way until April we were

  392. looking for a few venue a venue and the means speaker, and we had

  393. a few means speakers and all not free you know heard about us, love

  394. what we do, but not free, not free on the date. So

  395. we wanted we actually wanted to do it in April, and we had to

  396. push it in July. Until end of April, we didn't have any confirmation

  397. from any speaker or venue. Uh, and we needed a confirmation by April

  398. if not, Like I was really thinking about canceling it. Really, I'm

  399. like, okay, God, no open door and you cancel. I'm not

  400. really hard about, you know, pushing some of these things. And I

  401. met the team and I said, I'm considering to either push or cancel this

  402. year because we cannot find man, so no need la right, And we

  403. met on twenty fourth April April, and I said, guys, if this

  404. week don't have we will just push it, you know, or not do

  405. it. And we but we said, but let's pray it. Let's pray

  406. and see whether the lot will open the dollar okay, And we prayed,

  407. Lord, give us a venue and give us a speaker, because we know

  408. that this will help other people. And if you think it's going to help

  409. people, you make it happen now. And after that meeting, I texted,

  410. uh, just follow up with a few people again, and we did.

  411. The next day we got confirmation for both the speaker and the venue.

  412. Not my connection now, I think it's God's connection. So long, no

  413. news. That's a lily. Next day both confirmed. The theme, of

  414. course, was and it's not like oh guys, I need to fast and

  415. pray. It was just like that, like wow, and in faith.

  416. And then and then it happened. I think God's time is perfect. I

  417. share a little bit about who is the speaker and venue, so it's quite

  418. mind blowing. Okay, let me try and go it. So the speaker

  419. is this lady. I don't know if we've seen him before. Uh.

  420. And she has been very involved in uh uh uh yeah, very involved in

  421. the scene for many many years. She is the director of ap just a

  422. bad right, she's also believe And I remember texting her not expecting a reply,

  423. and next day morning she said, yes, I would love to speak,

  424. and she said very busy personal right, as in like, I'm sure

  425. she's busy, but somehow she's free on the day, not just that right.

  426. I was so unsure at her reply that I had to confirm her three

  427. times in the same text. Are you sure you are saying yes, you

  428. know? And and true enough she's she's going to be our meanspeaker. So

  429. that's one testimony. Next testimony is the venue, so so design of course

  430. true. The connection of uh, he's also involved, and he said why

  431. don't you ask and you see her? Just because you connect got connection now,

  432. doesn't mean that you can get it on guys, Can I share that

  433. just because I know Adato or you know, doesn't mean that it will happen,

  434. right. No, of course people are busy. Things happened, and

  435. I remember texting and immediately the CEO of help okay see oh not not free,

  436. no, not not free, immediately replied the email and said, oh,

  437. this is the place that we're gonna sponsor. Why don't you go check

  438. it out? And I'm like, okay again, I'm sure every time you

  439. think that, I'm like, I'm sure, okay, and I again,

  440. when things happened, you got to act immediately, so I didn't a way.

  441. I say, okay, next week you'll go and see. We went

  442. there to look at the place. The person that it was supposed to meet

  443. was in another location. I'm like, how can I meet? Can I

  444. do? W reki don't, don't, cannot confirm the place, so go

  445. back up. Then the ladies like, no, no, no, mine.

  446. Let me get someone to show you around. And they showed us around

  447. and then we we saw the place. We liked it. It had the

  448. hale that can feed one hundred telling people, and then it had like a

  449. place that you wanted. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that the

  450. whole building is ours for the day, and it had everything we wanted to

  451. do. It was like the perfect venue for us, right, so think

  452. about it. Four months are thinking about where to do it and how and

  453. stressing out and nothing, and then just overnight we got a venue. Don't

  454. even know how it looks like. I went to the place. I saw

  455. we were just there for half an hour. I saw everything, and I

  456. went there. I immediately sent email to the c I say we will take

  457. it right just to book it and so that we can start our registration.

  458. All right, Yeah, we needed to have a place to eat orso,

  459. and they had a cafe okay that we could kate the food and stuff and

  460. so much favor, so much favor, guys, so much favor, so

  461. much favor. When we walk by faith, it is scary. I can

  462. I share that I'm a type of person now that I need Plan B,

  463. Plan CE. Okay, I may not look like it, but I'm the

  464. type person, right. But I guess God only wanted me to plan Aila.

  465. Do you know that there's another because we did launch it and right now

  466. only got two registration so I can't chong again. Wow, now we got

  467. venue. We got speaker, every all this. Now we got all this,

  468. we got we got we got seven workshops guys, and then only that

  469. we're like, oh we we're also doing like you know later you hear early.

  470. But in all thinking of that, people sign up. So I don't

  471. know whether there's a Malasian last minute thing or people. I don't know.

  472. I don't know. Okay, but I can't chung and I again owe me

  473. or little faith? Okay, God relieve nobody. I'm just thinking what email

  474. I'm gonna send now to cancel the event? Right? And then I'm reminded

  475. Elvin had faith. I'm like, okay, yeah, there's two months more.

  476. Of course, it's January twenty July twenty seven. Technically there's June July.

  477. But again I don't know. I don't know, because where are the

  478. people going to come from, you know, because the result doesn't tell you

  479. with the news, because the news is, oh, this is such a

  480. great thing everybody, but the result doesn't tell you. So yeah, anyway,

  481. I guess I got about in faith and see what happens. So I'm

  482. praying, but mosto sharing this you so that you can also help me promote

  483. it and tell people guys, we just we're doing this just to help people,

  484. and I know special needs. It's a very sensitive topic, especially for

  485. family. But I want to let you know that we're really working hard so

  486. that families will be blessed. Recently we did a workshop with DUMC and one

  487. zone came and it was so blessed the workshop. And I'm looking at myself

  488. and I'm like, who am I I'm I'm not qualified. All I have

  489. is experience, but the Lord is using that. You know. That's one

  490. testimony. Can I show you another testimony before I make a move. So

  491. I've been staying in my house for ten years ready, Okay, then tatineus

  492. okay, And my house is not really renovated, and I've had a desire

  493. time to want to renovate it. And again I think you've heard Passea shad

  494. about how long how can sol or God you know, live like that and

  495. stuff like that. Okay, that's why God gave him that. And but

  496. that's Pascana flat and I'm full time. Okay. Of course, my wife

  497. is doing very well in the market place, praise God, thank God.

  498. But house renovation not cheap. And then being parents of specialist kids also not

  499. cheap. How you do just one thing? Now you canna choose everything,

  500. right, And I don't have Sorry, I'm not born in a rich family.

  501. I don't have a millionaire uncle. I don't have So the idea and

  502. dream to renovate my house died a long time ago. Already I'm like,

  503. God, I'm just gonna live like that. And if you provide a provide

  504. this year. I don't know why he came back and last time when things

  505. like this came, but I'll you were excited. But now I'm like,

  506. sure not you know, of course Parsicona nWay his house, my how do

  507. deals everything his house and carry me. I'm like, okaya, let's see

  508. how you know again non committal, right, So I'm like, okay,

  509. maybe get the the you know, just you know, the back of my

  510. house extended. So I'm like, okay, let maybe just get the contractor

  511. calm look at it. Maybe you just pay it, you know, because

  512. it is iry thing. Because the back of my house is is it has

  513. a very high tendency to grow into like a jungle mini jungle. And I've

  514. cleared twice in the past one year ready, right, paid someone to clear

  515. it because sorry, I I know I do get a thing before, but

  516. I got no time to clear jungle. And I'm like, I have for

  517. once, and we'll just cement everything and don't worry about it anymore. Okay,

  518. So entertained the idea of renovations. Just entertainer. Okay, let's let's

  519. entertain, right, So from entertainment, okay, ask the contract, calm,

  520. how much will it cost? And then I'm like, oh, maybe

  521. I can extend it. Okay, let's see how. And then of course

  522. passer Kennef came and chat his testimony right, praise his power. But how

  523. got provided? And I'm like, hey, God, if he can,

  524. I also want please give me that name. You know. He's like,

  525. Joe, please give me the name of the person. Joe, Okay,

  526. give me the name. Who's that name? You know? He said,

  527. God gave me the name. Guys, I don't have a name yet,

  528. Dory, that's the name. No name came, okay, no name came,

  529. you know. But but you see this thing about walking by faith,

  530. it's very interesting one because when you walk in faith, God will show you

  531. one and it gives you confidence to go the next step. But he won't

  532. show you everything he just show you a little bit so that you got enough

  533. confidence to walk the next step, but you're not sure how it's gonna end.

  534. So this is what happened. So during that I caught like, hey,

  535. you know, Lord, give me the testimony. La jo joking,

  536. la praying, give me the testimony. Okay, give me that name.

  537. No name came and two weeks later that's what happened. Two weeks later.

  538. Now, of course I say entertained, So I gotta be more serial entertained.

  539. Then tok to my wife, you want to here more stories? Uh,

  540. how what do you think there? Maybe we can, and of course

  541. thinking about like oh maybe we can use this money or use that money,

  542. and maybe it can, but again we're also trying to manage for kids and

  543. stuff like that, so not not the easiest and maybe do minimum and stuff

  544. like that. And I was like, okay, God, you know we

  545. think for that name, no name, And then suddenly and can I be

  546. honest, it's not like pray every day. It's not like you know,

  547. or let me fast and pray by I'm like, God, I would love

  548. a testimony that you provide for this, but it doesn't happen to happen.

  549. Now you know, we got their car prayer. It can happen. Great,

  550. it don't happen. It's fine. Long story short, God provided seat

  551. money for me through a family member. I didn't expect it. Let me

  552. tell you how. I didn't expect it. I didn't expect it so much

  553. so that when I got it and it's my band how and I talked to

  554. my wife. She looked at me and she actually said, dear, what

  555. you're not happy one? You got money I pay that. I look at

  556. her, I like, I don't know how to respond. I didn't expect

  557. this. You'll be thinking one hundred percent right now, twenty percent of the

  558. total cost of the estimated cost of renovation. Twenty percent and eighty percent go

  559. okay, so twenty percent, I'm like. And the moment I got that

  560. money, immediately I knew God, this is for the renovations. Seat money.

  561. Okay. So so first so first saya silah. So first, so

  562. I got the seat money to have first step into and wet my feet the

  563. lot provides. I didn't expect it, but it showed me that I need

  564. to want my fave. So now we are being a bit more serious.

  565. So I'm showing her Pinterest pictures, you know, and then we get someone

  566. to draw it for us and stuff like that. I think we got potostr.

  567. Yeah yeah, uh this outsider. Okay. So so from don't really

  568. entertain No, so from a yeah, okay, doing the kitchen side.

  569. So guys from don't really entertain to now dreaming a little bit more, dreaming

  570. a little bit more. You know. Of course for those so we are

  571. tech. You look at this, you know that it's very expensive. I

  572. say yes, so you might not like that, okay, but it doesn't

  573. hurt to dream. I'm still in this stage of like I wish I could

  574. tell you, guys, you know what, God provided everything. I wish

  575. lah buy seat money first, and I'm like, okay, God, you

  576. want me to walk by faith, I'm gonna do it. Okay, we're

  577. gonna pray, we're gonna be a bit more serious. And it's a step

  578. by step. So first step blah and then now we're going to go to

  579. the next step. La, And I'm readier. Guys at any time that

  580. got no money, no needla. You know my wife would be like,

  581. huh no serious, because because we need wisdom, don't have to then okay,

  582. long, maybe I'm mistake, maybe I don't know, but I'm praying,

  583. believing, you know, But I'm not how to say ignorant to the

  584. point that, Oh, God, bro, And I'm like, okay,

  585. God, I'm not sure. I'm going to walk by faith, but I'm

  586. going to see how. And I know you'll provide, but I'm going to

  587. see how. If there's a today, there's the day. But but I

  588. need to walk by faith because God is leading me here. How scary is

  589. the prayer that when you say God, please do this for me, he's

  590. doing for you. He's scary. I was just talking with someone just now

  591. and the person said, I'm going to a tough time at work right now,

  592. and I say yeah, And then the person told me after that,

  593. you know, just one year really, I said, things are cruising and

  594. I'm asking God, God give me a new testimony. I'm like, yeah,

  595. are you asked for it? Now? New testimony? And now you're

  596. going to a problem now and God will lead you to it. But you

  597. need to have faith to believe that he will. You need to have faith

  598. to believe that even if you see the lion in the lions, then even

  599. you're thrown into the lion's then God will close their mouth. It takes faith,

  600. you know, it doesn't take logic. You know it's illogical. It's

  601. illogical to be embarking on a renovation project with only ten percent and no other

  602. plan or where the other money is going to come from. Illogical by faith,

  603. and I hope that. And to me, it's a sum as it's

  604. God, you ask me to do it, I'll do it. I will

  605. tell your people that you are the one doing it. And if it doesn't

  606. happen, it's your problem because I didn't ask for this. So if you

  607. don't need to be a problem, then you got to do something God,

  608. because you get all the glory. It is not past eleven. It is

  609. not my context, It is not my it's not me, it's God.

  610. I stand here today to testify that we are people of faith and that when

  611. you have faith and when you act in faith, God will come true for

  612. you. It's just too simple, testimonious. Is it illogical? Yes,

  613. it is illogical to do first before anything happens. And again, now just

  614. because I do first doesn't mean I cannot. I mean it can still don't

  615. do it lack, But as long as God is there, I will still

  616. move forward. John twenty thirty one says, but these are written, these

  617. are written, all the stories in Bahbah written. Why that you may believe

  618. that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you

  619. may have life in His name. We believe in Christ. We have faith

  620. in Christ. Oh, what does Christ have to do your house renovation?

  621. Well? Nothing actually in a way, but everything. It is not about

  622. the house renovation. Now about this knowledge that I have a daddy God in

  623. Heaven that cares on me so much, right that he would take care of

  624. some of these things on my behalf. But I'm not pursuing it now,

  625. guys, it's not I'm not sharing this so that Oh, now all you

  626. can renovate a house? No, no, don't, don't. Don't get

  627. me wrong. Sometimes God will use her the leaders and see at the end

  628. of the day, if anything goes wrong, it is my shame, I

  629. say, God, Heaven, but nothing happened, Well, then I have

  630. to deal with it. But if not, then it is proof that God

  631. is real. It's just that do we have faith that God can move in

  632. your life in every situation? House renovation not important? What is more important

  633. is your soul. What is more important is your relationship with Christ. Can

  634. you believe that God can really work for you? If God can work for

  635. this pastor, can God work for you? I believe he can. All

  636. we need to do is have faith and pray and believe. Friends, we

  637. hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information on our church,
