  1. You're listening to a message to go from ex Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. The title, if you're writing notes, is

  3. the power of perspective, right, the power of perspective. I'm sure you

  4. know that perspective is a very powerful thing. You know. You know during

  5. union last time, I remember learning a lesson about perspectives. You know where

  6. we are supposed to draw this on? If your architect or if you asked,

  7. you know, what does it mean to drop perspective? You know,

  8. you have a vanishing point, and then you have to draw the line from

  9. the vanishing point, and then you have to draw, you know, the

  10. different things according to the line. You know, you guys look like you

  11. have no idea what I'm talking about. Do you know that you learn about

  12. perspectives in primary school? You'll know, right, don't remember? Okay,

  13. anyway, perspectives is a very powerful thing. Okay. And we're gonna read

  14. a little bit in Matthew chapter sixteen, and then we're going to learn a

  15. few things from the word okay, ken, Okay. So we're gonna read

  16. okay, it says here Matthew chapter sixteen, verse one. Then the Pharisees

  17. and Sadu Sees came for those of you who may not be familiar with the

  18. Bible and who these two people are. Pharisees Sees. Basically, they are

  19. the religious leaders in the Bible at those days. Okay, you've got the

  20. religious leaders on the top, and then you've got the Pharisees, and said

  21. to Sees, Okay, what makes them different? Basically, if you want

  22. to know why, and I'm trying Pasama under the bus, you can ask

  23. past the men. He'll tell you what. But basically, I think their

  24. belief is some of them believe in something about like the work of angels and

  25. some not rest something to the effect. Okay, I'm not really really one

  26. hundred percent sure, but there is a significance to them. And then they

  27. call themselves, Oh, we're the Pharisees. You know, It's like,

  28. how now this we call ourselves different? The nomination we say, Oh,

  29. I'm a Baptist, or I'm an Anglican, or I'm at this, or

  30. I'm a Charismatic or I'm a pentecosteal. Friends, I've had many people ask

  31. me what is ex church. Basically they kind of know what we practice lat

  32. and most of the time I rather answer them, I'm a disabled Christ.

  33. Solve the problem. So Pharisee said to Seas, came testing him or testing

  34. who Jesus? Well? Last time MISU got people? How many of you

  35. here feel you're tested in your life? Always tested, tested by your kids,

  36. tested by your boss, tested by your words. Do you know that

  37. Jesus was tested as well? They tested him, you know, right?

  38. And you want to know the ridiculous thing about them testing him is Matthew chapter

  39. sixteen. If you read the chapters before, you will learn that Jesus himself

  40. have performed many, many miracles a day. By now you should kind of

  41. believe lah, you know, I mean if he just appear first time and

  42. say it's any just appear, hey guys, I'm the sort, and then

  43. that's nothing. Never do anything, approve himself, never do anything, right,

  44. I would kind of guess people want to test that. You're not sure,

  45. but he's done miraclels, he's he's healed people, and he still want

  46. to test him? And what he did test him about? They said,

  47. and testing him and asked that he would show them a sign from heaven.

  48. How funny is that? Right? It's kind of like if I can use

  49. this our church as an example, we have someone that comes here and then

  50. sees all that is happening, seize the praise, report you know of uh,

  51. you know, you know secret search and and and seize our homes and

  52. seize all these things, and sez we'll get healed. And then still come

  53. and will come and talk to me and say, Passelvin, is this just

  54. legit or not? I don't know to answer it. You know I will

  55. legit. You'll get that terminal. I'm so sorry if I use them.

  56. They don't understand. Okay, some people say I'm a bit hit. So

  57. he answer and say to them, when it is evening, you say,

  58. it will be fair weather, for the sky is rad. It's very interesting

  59. analogy. Jesus gay and in the morning it will be foul weather today,

  60. for if the sky is red and threatening. And then straight away he haunt

  61. them. This line, which a lot of people say Christians are sometimes hippo

  62. creates. You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you

  63. cannot discern the signs of the times. A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after

  64. the sign, and no signs shall be given to it except the sign of

  65. the prophet Jonah and he left them and departed. He dropped Mike and he

  66. left. Wow, last time got no mind. I hope you guys follow

  67. me in this journey okay today because we're gonna read it, be a Bible

  68. and try and learn and again in no way, whatever that's being shared today,

  69. it is just to hunt them. You can. I can. I

  70. make that clear. I might be a little bit harder because this is my

  71. home home chore. Well no home church are ex just my home church,

  72. but this home ground. I hope you guys are can catch that, okay,

  73. because when I speak to you, I don't speak to you just as

  74. a preacher. I speak to you as a shepherd. And sometimes you got

  75. to be well not heard, but sometimes you got to talk about heart things

  76. so that always can learn together. Right. So the first point is are

  77. we seeking signs? Think about it in your life? Are you seeking signs

  78. in your life? God? Are you there? There has to be something

  79. that happens before you believe. There has been something that happens you know that

  80. will really convince you before you fully commit? Are we seeking signs? Are

  81. we still seeking signs from the Lord? Or are we fully committed? Do

  82. we seek signs to test God. God. You know, when I read

  83. Lisa, I repent a little bit a lout because sometimes you will ask God

  84. for science. And again it's biblical as well. Gideon ask God for a

  85. sign in the Bible for confirmation, not to prove things. He said,

  86. God, if you really want me to do it, and I will,

  87. please show me a sign because I need the encouragement. So he asked for

  88. science. But the Pharisees, when they asked for science, it was a

  89. little bit different. They asked Jim to prove himself. So the question today

  90. is are we seeking science? And when we say we are seeking science,

  91. what are we looking for? What is our perspective? When God has already

  92. spoken, do we still need to seek science in our lives? Think about

  93. it a little bit. We pray so hard for the job. God gives

  94. us a job. For the first three months honeymoon period, we love it

  95. or everything is awesome, and then the first problem happened, and then suddenly

  96. the lingo change, Suddenly, the perspective changed. Suddenly is not so great

  97. after all? God, show me a sign. But then before that three

  98. months ago, can give that simoney here on this stage and say again,

  99. if this relates to any of you, please, I don't remember any of

  100. your detimonies. I'm just giving you a perspective. Okay, if God has

  101. really spoken, do we steal six signs? And Jesus said, we can

  102. discern whether yet they seek signs from Jesus to prove his legitimacy? Your cash

  103. there or not? Do we still need to see signs in our Christian faith

  104. or do we fully believe? That is a question I have for us this

  105. morning. Perspective firstly our own faith. Why do people get discouraged when things

  106. don't happen or things don't go according to what they hope for in their lives,

  107. and then they give up on church, they give up on Christ,

  108. they give up on this because things don't happen. But then we forget the

  109. testimonies of the past, We forget how God has restored our family. We

  110. forget all of these things, and we get discouraged and we steal sick signs.

  111. Don't forget where you came from, friends, Don't forget where you came

  112. from. Don't forget the testimony that you shed. Just because something good happen

  113. doesn't mean later on in life bad things won't happen, doesn't mean that bad

  114. things are bad. I watched this TikTok video about this sales guy, business

  115. guy, and he gave a reference of another guy. He said this line

  116. said, This line that he mentioned, or this statement he said was very

  117. revealing. So he gave this example. He said, if we were to

  118. run a business, okay, businessman, my connect. If we were to

  119. run a business and we're gonna create human beings, okay, let's say we're

  120. gonna create human beings, and we're gonna build human beings, and we wanna

  121. build human beings that are resilient, human beings, full of character, human

  122. beings that are you know, really just reliable. Would you put easy things

  123. for them to do or difficult things? My son kind of got it right,

  124. because you put easy Do you think that you'll build people that are reliable,

  125. strong of character? And all? No, see, we know this,

  126. But then when we come and look at our own lives, when the

  127. going gets half, then we get discouraged. When the going gets half,

  128. we get discouraged, and then we start questioning and resinking signs. Be careful,

  129. friends, let's read on. Okay, I guess okay, let's read

  130. on now when his disciples had come to the other side, they had forgotten

  131. to take bread. How many of you forgotten to take break? Me and

  132. my wife our weekly conversation confirmed with us on did you buy braid? Right?

  133. We will always talk about it? Why because our kids need bread in

  134. the morning. And if forget to vibrain or if the braid expires, then

  135. no food. Then oh no, two grumpy kids with no food every parent's

  136. worse nightmare. They forgot bread, Jesus said to them, take bread,

  137. and beware, take he it, and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees

  138. and cetaceas. This that's why they really say Jesus fing in parables. They

  139. forgot the bread. But straight away he talked about leven of Pharisees and Scetasees,

  140. and the reason among themselves saying, is it because we have taken no

  141. bread? But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, oh,

  142. you have little faith. Why do you reason among you over yourselves because

  143. you have brought no bread? Do you not yet understand or remember the five

  144. loaves or the five thousand and how many baskets you took out, not the

  145. seven loaves or the four thousand and how many large bucket baskets you took out?

  146. How is it you do not understand I did not speak to you concerning

  147. bread, but to be aware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Setucees.

  148. Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven

  149. of the bread, but the doctrine of the pharaoh sees and sattle seas.

  150. Okay again, a bit more contexts. Okay, Pharisees settle sees against See,

  151. they don't really like Jesus, and Jesus don't really like them. Law

  152. Okay again, when jeeves don't relate like them. I don't think he don't

  153. like the Pharisees as human beings. I think he just doesn't like their doctrine,

  154. the way they approach things, because it's holier than down. That was

  155. what he was they were at. There was where they were at. Okay.

  156. And when Jis came, he changed a lot of things. He he

  157. he gave a lot of people a new perspective about the Kingdom of God.

  158. He gave a lot of people an understanding. And he didn't just talk.

  159. He showed the way. There was signs and miracles that followed him, right,

  160. and that was where Jesus is and when I can get out of this.

  161. When I read this, he said, we sometimes got to be careful

  162. of the doctrine of others who do not proclaim that Christ is the son of

  163. God. Right because the Pharisees do not admit the miracles of God. Can

  164. I go a little bit deeper? In this day and age, friends,

  165. we got to be really careful who we follow and who we believe in.

  166. Recently, I posted up something I thought it was a good comment, and

  167. then someone corrected me and said, hey, do you know this guy that

  168. you just posted up? And I'm like, no, I don't know.

  169. And he said, this is the head of days, Days, days,

  170. and he don't believe in this is there? Like, oh sorry, I

  171. took it down. But his comment was very good about a family and parenting.

  172. It's just one thing, man. But then it didn't look good.

  173. I posted it up. Right. Nowadays, what we consume and what we

  174. see, it's very easy to go like because of the algorithm. You know,

  175. if you're if you're not careful, you can actually whatever you watch,

  176. right, you consume to consuy, especially on the phone. The algorithm gives

  177. you more what you want, gives you more people that will agree with your

  178. viewpoint and agree with you. Right, And that is actually very dangerous,

  179. right, because then you will definitely feel good. Lad. That's one.

  180. Number two is that you might believe in other doctrines. I'm not just talking

  181. about Christian I'm talking about a lot of other things. Right, So we

  182. got to be very careful about this what we see, because what we consume

  183. goes in. It affects our perspective. It's rare powerful, right, what

  184. we hear. Sometimes we believe what we hear more than the word of God.

  185. We got to also be very careful, right, first thing we got

  186. to ask ourselves is do they proclaim that christis God? We were basic,

  187. lave Okay, we got to be well of being distracted as well, worrying

  188. about the things that God can provide. That was what the disciples were worried

  189. about. They were very simple. Oh yeah, we forgot braid lah how

  190. right, and then Jesus of course through them a curve pall and say beware

  191. of the level of the Pharisees, like, wow, I'm talking about break

  192. you're talking about eleven. I don't understand what you're trying. You mean,

  193. we need to buy them. You know they're going to that direction. And

  194. then he said, hello, guys, why are you so worried about bread?

  195. Don't you remember that we fed the five thousand with five those two fish?

  196. Don't you remember with seven breaks we fed the four thousand. Don't you

  197. think I can provide Christ? They forgot who they were with, You know,

  198. Jesus. I think he can just create things or nothing. Okay,

  199. And he did love. He was with that, they were with him,

  200. But they got distracted. Right. We got to be careful of being distracted

  201. in this same age, and a lot of us here are distracted with our

  202. daily stuff. We are because it's the most important thing. The disciples forgot

  203. the miracle that Jesus fed the five thousand and four thousand. They were preoccupied

  204. with bread. Friends, It is not about the miracle. Can I encourage

  205. you? It is not about the miracle, but it's about the one who

  206. made the miracle happen. It is not about the gift, but the one

  207. who made who gave the gift. Don't pray pray, pray for the house.

  208. God give you the house, and you forget. God always remember that

  209. when we're close to the Giver, everything will be taken care of. Matthew

  210. six thirty thirty three siky for to kee out God. Why is the scripture

  211. there in the Bible? Why do Jesus have to or why do Jesus have

  212. to remind us that God will take care of everything? So why we so

  213. preoccupied and worried about tomorrow? Tomorrow will have his own problems. Let's be

  214. faithful today. It is always about the character of God and not just the

  215. gifts of God. That is the main point. That's the main point I

  216. want to share with you today. Amen, Jesus did it twice and they

  217. forgot friends, don't forget the testimonies that God has done in your life.

  218. Yes, maybe now life is difficult. Maybe now you're going through a challenge,

  219. you're climbing a mountain, right, But don't forget the testimony that God

  220. has done in your life. He is faithful, He will always be faithful.

  221. Can I encourage you? You got a testimony? Generally down, write

  222. it down, write it down somewhere. Why you will forget one if you

  223. think you remember, if you think your memory is very good, you will

  224. forget it. One you got to write down your testimony is you know.

  225. One of the things that I always ask people when they are in a challenging

  226. time, I always ask them, can you remember the last time God gets

  227. something for you? And they say yes? And I say, if he's

  228. done something for you, then don't you think he can come true for you?

  229. Now? Why do you doubt? Of course? Not easy, liard,

  230. because the new problem is always the harder problem one guys. Right,

  231. New is always harder one? Okay, sorry yer. Nowadays when I speak,

  232. I have to give some for gim reference. Okay, new problem is

  233. always hard to one? Right? Why because recently I asked my coach,

  234. I say, hey, coach, I think I want to get down dumb

  235. bells at home, so like an exercise, and I was thinking about getting

  236. Then again we talked about ways, sir. I was thinking about getting maybe

  237. ten to fifteen kg. Okay, course I can manage, right. My

  238. mex kg right now is twenty max okay. And if you look at me,

  239. he's like, get twenty. I'm like, huh, that's like the

  240. heavior stone. And then I'm like, okay, you know, Soorry bought

  241. it ready. Then later on what happened was while we're exercising in the in

  242. the gym, because again not not so strict loud okay, So we go

  243. with the weights that were comfortable with. And then some of the people that

  244. were exciting me there was have a tendency to go for l the weight it's

  245. on, and then we always dis temler and I say, and go for

  246. heavior. It's because when you see them do the movement, it's way easy

  247. okay, and then you say go harder so that you can build your muscle.

  248. Right. So the recent one right, because I know I have twenty

  249. kg dumb bells at home. I was telling myself you want to start using

  250. them? I think I better go heavior right. And again I know this

  251. might not be okay, please do it with a trainer. Don't go in

  252. or possibly I wanna say, hey, I'm gonna go to the behaviors.

  253. Please don't is very dangerous. Don't do that. But I went heavior than

  254. what I was used to or what I was comfortable with, and it was

  255. hard. I'm still feeling it today. I exercise on Friday. Right,

  256. but I was able to overcome right, and I thought, coach, I

  257. say, hey, coach, I see the motivation of why you asked me

  258. to get twig rather than fifteen or ten? I understand because yeah, because

  259. if we get fifteen or ten, you will tell yourself that you want to

  260. go lower and a higher and right, that's why you'll tell yourself. But

  261. when you go give yourself no choice, then you'll do it and get it

  262. done. Okay, why am I sharing this to you in our lives?

  263. I just give the example. You want to be resilient, full of character.

  264. Do you think that taking the easy way all the time is going to

  265. help us? No? No, how is our perspective coming here in God's

  266. house? Yes it feels good in the beginning. Yes it's great in the

  267. beginning, but don't you think iron shod sharpen iron. Eventually when we get

  268. close enough. Sees the thing about family? Right, Eventually, when you

  269. get close enough, you have a tendency because you're so close, right,

  270. you are accidentally stepped on each other. Those on painful. So then go

  271. further that. No, but you're still family is still close. So sometimes

  272. where that happens, right, then we got to overcome. That's why Christ

  273. say we forgive, we work things out, we work together. We don't

  274. be stubborn. We try to make things work. We understand, you know,

  275. the roles that we all have and the purpose that we have. Amen.

  276. Friends, don't just rely on old testimonies, but believe God for new

  277. ones. I'm very encouraged all the time when I hear testimonies from our young

  278. working adults, our families, our fathers and mothers. Here, don't keep

  279. it to yourself, don't keep it under the rock, share it with your

  280. homes. Don't be shy. It is not about you. Right, Your

  281. testimony is not about you your testimony, but it's about glorifying God and saying

  282. that God is really life. Amen. Right, because He's working in our

  283. lives. Amen, we will not just be encouraged with living the abundant life,

  284. but also be used by God as witnesses of His wondrous works in our

  285. lives. That is the wonderful thing about having a testimony. X one.

  286. It says, and you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon

  287. you, and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and in all Judea

  288. and Samaria and to the end of the earth. When we share our testimony,

  289. we are witnesses for Him to proclaim His good works, because we should

  290. all here be living a life of faith and testimony. It's a life of

  291. faith easy, of course not. It's not going to be easy. But

  292. it's not about easy. It is about trusting the character of God that even

  293. when we're in a difficult situation, when even things don't go according to our

  294. plan, God is there. Walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

  295. I will fear no evil for your word and your staff they comfort me.

  296. Do we have that conviction? Friends? Do we have that perspective?

  297. Perspective is very important. If we have that perspective when we see trouble,

  298. we will know how to react or respond. But if we don't have perspective,

  299. every problem is the devil that it is. That it is that will

  300. get quite a lot of credit sometimes if we do. I'll tell one no,

  301. friends, perception is a rare powerful thing. That's my encouragement for you.

  302. Perception is a rare powerful thing. I'm not going to read the remaining

  303. of this scripture. Okay, So we talk about science proving whether Christ is

  304. really Christ or not. I think my encouragement for that is really, friends,

  305. you are here in church, not just because we are an organization,

  306. or it feels good to have a Christian name, and all, do you

  307. believe? Really? Do you really really believe in Christ, our Savior,

  308. the Son of God, the one that died for Since I ask you that

  309. question, everything else will come later. Matthew sixteen thirteen nineteen. Okay,

  310. when Jesus came into the region of Syria Philippi, he asked his disciples,

  311. saying, who do men say that I the son of Man am? So

  312. they said, some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others

  313. Jeremiah or one of the prophets. See, they're familiar with all these prophets,

  314. right, and Elijah was used because Elijah was an awesome, awesome prophet.

  315. He literally called down fire from heaven. Right. And before that,

  316. all the miracles that happened in the history of the Israels and Jews were happening

  317. in Moses time. Okay. So they all thought, oh, it is

  318. a I don't know anotherh Okay. But he said to them, say,

  319. all these people say who I am? He asks his own disciples, who

  320. do you say I am? Simon Peter answered and said, you are the

  321. Christ, the son of the Living God. Jesus answer and say to him,

  322. blessed are you Simon bar Jonah? For flesh and blood has not revealed

  323. this to you, But my Father, who is in heaven. Do you

  324. know that flesh and blood will not be able to reveal who Christ is to

  325. you in your life? Only God can. Only God can. That's why

  326. we say. It is not by the eloquence of speech that you know that

  327. people receive Christ as their Lord and savior, but it is by the conviction

  328. of the Holy Spirit they receive. I pray that you open up your ears

  329. to hear today. I pray that the spirits speak to you to their friends.

  330. Amen, who do you say I am? And I also today say

  331. to you that you are Peter verse eighteen. And on this rock I will

  332. build my church, and the gates of haities shall not prevail against it.

  333. And he really built his church on Peter. And I will give you the

  334. keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. And whatever you bind on earth will be

  335. bound in heaven, and whatever you lose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

  336. And he commanded his disciples that they should tell no one that he was

  337. Jesus Christ. Friends, who do we see Christ. As I think more

  338. importantly, how do we perceive our faith in Christ? Do we know and

  339. see the purposes we have even in this church? Do we see that?

  340. Or is it just I come every Sunday when hecaus I'm Christian? Friends,

  341. as a bigger purposonal and a lot of things, we need to step up

  342. and say I'm on board because it's what we see. Right? Do we

  343. see that God is the one who led us to this church and his family.

  344. That's another important question. If you are here and you've been coming to

  345. act for a long time, friend, I want to challenge this to you.

  346. Is this going to be your home or are we just a club?

  347. When we are club, you come, you pay your fees, you use

  348. the facets, and you go home. You don't need to talk to anybody.

  349. Everybody is your surf staff. They serve you, they wait on your

  350. hand and food. But when this is a family, I'll score my kids.

  351. This is not a hotel. Pick up your own bags. Because you

  352. are family, you have a well I won't use the word right, but

  353. you have a privilege to be here. Shouldn't you be involved? Different ones

  354. here who are serving you. We already said that we are family. We're

  355. in this for the long haul. We're rooted, you know, or are

  356. we still on the fence? Do you know that when you're on the fence,

  357. you won't be able to experience the fullness or where the lot has placed

  358. you are not me? No, I'm not trying to convince you anything.

  359. This one is between you and God. My encouragement is That's why we always

  360. encourage people wherever you go, even if you go overseas you study. I

  361. always tell young people find a church, root down, build a community that

  362. because God has to come first, whire me, myself and I and Jesus.

  363. Enough right, well enough, But you won't survive if you're alone.

  364. You need other believers to challenge you. You need other billers to speak to

  365. you. You need people to remind you, hey today go home, some

  366. please comer. You need that because the cares of the world will chock you.

  367. The cares of the world and the doctrine of other people will affect you,

  368. and then you lose your way and then you think to yourself or last

  369. time, when I younger, I'm on fire, what happened? Well,

  370. life happened, But have we taken that step you know, to move forward.

  371. Let me share with you a personal story on perspective and the change of

  372. perspective. And this happened to me really recently. Okay, So after a

  373. meeting, I had a ministreet meeting, I was a ministream meeting. After

  374. the ministream meeting, I was a bit discouraged. Lot, friends, I

  375. was a bit discouraged, and not just that I was overwhelmed. You know,

  376. can I be honest, I have never felt overwhelmed in my life.

  377. It is my soar action. But no, no, no, I've never

  378. had the feeling of like, well, I feel overwhelmed, stressed out,

  379. maybe discourage, maybe tired, maybe overwhelmed. Never, but that day I

  380. was very overwhelmed. I felt like I was sinking. I was drowning.

  381. That's why I felt like after the meeting. A ministrea meeting is supposed to

  382. be more encouraging, right, I don't know why. I know it's the

  383. first ever time I felt like that. I felt like I was the only

  384. one who was doing most of the work. How many of you feel like

  385. that? Right? You know? If not all the work or at least

  386. rely on by everybody means that I don't do means everything dies. That that's

  387. a feeling, feeling, feeling on he Okay, it may not be true

  388. feeling on me, right, You don't feel like I had to do I

  389. had to make it, get it done. The weight was on my shoulders.

  390. That's why I felt, And honestly, I really felt I want to,

  391. you know what, I think, maybe I should. I started making

  392. plans, you know what, I think I want to step out already.

  393. I think I want to not do it. I think I want to,

  394. you know, because I got more important things. I stick at my family,

  395. you know, my health, right, I don't think I want to

  396. do this, La. There was a thought that came from my mind.

  397. It affected me for a while. You know. After that, I had

  398. some you know, gatherings and all, and I tried my best to put

  399. a bold friend or at least a smile, but I was really bothered,

  400. very bothered. My wife also don't know, maybe she didn't, but I

  401. didn't tell anything, right, I was really bothered, you know, And

  402. I was trying to process it, like why am I feeling this way?

  403. This is so weird perspective. Everybody just relying on me again, you know,

  404. yell is all this again? Right? I couldn't shake the feeling.

  405. Thank God. Next day was a Sunday, Thank God for Sunday, and

  406. I had to preach someone. I remember in the morning I was praying asking

  407. God, God, I feel very overwhelmed, helped me. And you know

  408. what God did. God just did one thing I wish I will tell you.

  409. Oh, you know he feel my heart with warm You know that I

  410. feel like, you know, someone hugging me and all nothing. He just

  411. changed my perspective, he said, Elvin who and in this this is the

  412. way he did it. Okay, I don't think he said it this way,

  413. but just me and Okay, who are you to think that you?

  414. How hard do I say this are? It's kind of like, who are

  415. you to think that you're so bigger that everything is just relying on you?

  416. Kind of like an ouside. And then I'm like, okay, God,

  417. where are we going with this? And then he said why did you started

  418. serving me? There was a question came, Okay, why do you started

  419. serving me? Why are you doing what you're doing today? There was a

  420. question I do I do, like check my heart? And the answer is

  421. simple, Well, because you caught me up, because of you, La,

  422. because God's call and I'm following God's call. And then the next question

  423. came, then, why don't you rely on me perspective? It totally changed

  424. my perspective. I was relying on myself. I was relying on my talent.

  425. Honestly, friends, I will not claim that I'm talented in media at

  426. all. In fact, I feel nowadays I'm feeling older and older. Of

  427. course, the new people, the new young person will come on new ideas

  428. and I'm ah, I have no idea what you're talking about, you know,

  429. so please please don't trust all. My wife just said, Okay,

  430. I am not I am not talented in the aerial media. You know,

  431. they are more talented people out there. They can do wonders in their phone.

  432. But the perspective was changed. It was no longer, well it's me,

  433. everybody relying on me, but I was just it changed to Okay,

  434. God, I humble myself because I'm nothing. You have to help me.

  435. So all the problems are there. I saw that was hating my way in

  436. the next few months was no longer again it is the project say coming,

  437. It's still coming. The avalanche is still coming, but I'm not doing it

  438. myself. My perspective is different. The situation didn't change. Friends, situations

  439. still same. Me, things still have to meet, problems the same.

  440. I'm still in charge of X amount of things. Still no change. The

  441. thing that's changed is my perspective. God. If you don't come true,

  442. I cannot do this. God. I'm doing this because of you, not

  443. me. God. I need you. Maybe I get Daniel to help me

  444. because I've got a little bit of a illustration for you. It came to

  445. me this morning. What did I learn about this? And this is something

  446. that I've I've caught recently, and I want to caution you guys, discouragements

  447. are very powerful discouragements. So I was overwhelmed and discourage discouragements are very powerful

  448. because discouragements can really derail you from your destiny. Maybe God has sent you

  449. here to do something for him. Maybe he sent you here to either impact

  450. the lives of young people, or maybe if you're older, he's sending you

  451. here to help young couples in their marriage. I don't know what God has

  452. caught you to do. I don't know what friends, but you know,

  453. especially if you've been to another church or you've been to another place and you

  454. get discouraged and then when you come to a new place, right, You're

  455. like, I want everything clean, I want peace. I don't want to

  456. get involved. I don't want to get hurt anymore. Right, the perspective

  457. is still the same. Do you know that God very hard forgot to use

  458. you because you're discouraged. Nothing wrong. If you are, you have the

  459. giftinger. Once God give you, give you. You know he kind of

  460. want to get back ready, right, but it can really derail you from

  461. your destiny. I wanted to quit, no, guys, because I foresaw

  462. my next few months doing what I'm doing, Like, oh Lord, I'm

  463. not gonna have life anymore. Right, But he changed my perspective. So

  464. we've got to be careful of discouragements and be wary of how we see things.

  465. Okay, I've got a little bit of a yeah, I can.

  466. You'll know the phrase glass half full or glass half empty. Again, I'm

  467. not trying to teach you, guys. You must a positive thinking. No,

  468. no, no, no, That's what I'm trying, Mina. So

  469. I got a little bit of a thing, thanks Daniel, So glass half

  470. full. Yeah, let's talk about perspective, Okay, just simply perspective,

  471. right, can so if you're being served this in the mama and they chage

  472. you ten ring it and they say this is the full glass of rabina.

  473. They'll ask you no eyes or whatever. I think half of you here make

  474. a lot of noise, really because you see the glass as half empty.

  475. Right if my kids they will see it as half full, because as long

  476. as right we don they don't really care how much it is right and in

  477. life, right in life? Right? You know I just talked about perspective

  478. and perspective very powerful. What is your perspective in this church? Are you

  479. just well, this was not very nice to use it. I'm gonna use

  480. it anyway. Sorry, guys, pure warmer? Or are you a partner

  481. and a participant? Gotta think to ourselves? Okay, when I'm in my

  482. homes, am I just a participant? Or am I involved? Right?

  483. And it's very hard to join a gym membership and not join the classes and

  484. say I'm losing weight or maybe we sorry gym reference again, join the gym

  485. membership and all we do is go put money inside the vending machine, press

  486. the button, get the drink, drink, go out. I've done my

  487. job. I was at the gym. It's different. If you have to

  488. exercise, it's painful. Can I show you a testimony. I've come to

  489. the stage, right, I'm not boastinger because I say, if you're a

  490. travelinger, where if I don't go to gym, it feels weird, And

  491. if I go to gym, I don't feel pain. It feels weird because

  492. I'm not working hard enough. Right, it's come to that stage. I

  493. become an irritating person. Yes, I know, I apologize, I irritate

  494. past it then in office. So to some of us is glass half empty

  495. and glass half full. But do you know that if we humble ourselves,

  496. that's a smaller glass to other people. Whatever you see as half empty,

  497. it's almost full. Don't you see that? It's different now? But perspective

  498. what has not changed? Ye, The drink has not changed. The situation

  499. has not changed. Nothing has changed, but the container has changed. Who

  500. is the container? Do you know that some people, if you have the

  501. right perspective, it is not just going to feel but overflow. Friends don't

  502. think about it too logically. I've used a smaller couple as like that.

  503. I'm talking about perspective. How do you see your situation? Lord humble?

  504. Myself or am I too big? Or am I going to humble myself?

  505. Elijah, come here, come, come, come, come. You say

  506. you want to drink right, you can finish this nah? Okay, yeah,

  507. take it down, take it down to mame there. Okay, I

  508. think then I need your help to phinis. Friends, I asked you a

  509. very simple question. Do you always want to see the glass half full or

  510. empty? Or do you want to experience the our pouring of God? Humble

  511. yourself? Humble yourself? Are we too big for good to do something in

  512. our life? Matthew six three says the lamb of the body is the eye.

  513. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of

  514. light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full

  515. of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how

  516. great is that darkness? When you talk about perspective, you talk about what

  517. you see right nowadays, when I see problems and when I hear people going

  518. through challenges. For me, it's a very simple response. It is a

  519. discipleship opportunity. It is an opportunity for God to do something. That's how

  520. I see it. When I see problems in your own life. Right now,

  521. that's what I see. Okay, it's an issue, it's a problem.

  522. Lord, it is an opportunity for you to move in my life.

  523. Or is it a problem? I give up? Right, Let me read

  524. from the amplified Bible, and I hope that you'll catch something about this today.

  525. Matthew six two twenty three. Just now, he talks about the lamp.

  526. Right, what we see, right, what we perceive? Right,

  527. the eye is the lamp of the body. So what you see, what

  528. you perceive is the lamp. Okay, whatever you see goes inside. So

  529. if your eye is clear, if you're clear, spiritually, you're perceptive,

  530. right, you see things the way God sees things, your whole body will

  531. be full of light, benefiting from God's presepts. But if your eye is

  532. bad, spiritually blind, your whole body will be full of darkness, devoid

  533. of God's precepts. So if the very light, so, if the very

  534. light inside you, your inner self, your heart, your conscience is darkness,

  535. how great and terrible is that darkness? Your current situation? What do

  536. you see? That is my encouragement for you mayver get extreme to come up.

  537. Amen, friends, as God gave me this message, and again,

  538. this affects your perspective. Okay, I feel I want to pray for people

  539. today and I don't pray for two groups. And again, if you are

  540. not a pout this two groups, it's okay. If you want to pray,

  541. it can come up as well. I want to pray for you if

  542. you are discouraged, or you're overwhelmed, or maybe you have been carrying discouragement

  543. in your life, because I recognize how discouragements can really affect you and really

  544. cause you to derail from your destiny. And it can cause people to be

  545. constantly looking for something to solve that feeling, but you will never find it

  546. because the only answer is God. And you will see them try new things

  547. and new things and new things and new things and searching for it again and

  548. again in other areas. But you don't look for it and God, you

  549. don't deal with your hurt, you don't deal with your offense, and then

  550. you're stuck in this vicious cycle. No more today, let it end.

  551. I encourage you to see the possibility. So if you're discouraged, if you're

  552. overwhelm, maybe someone will You're overwhelm, friends, over It's not a fun

  553. man. I felt very overwhelm. Sometimes we can be overwhelm with good things.

  554. Good things happen in our lives and we'll be super overwhelmed by it.

  555. It's not always bad things, though. I was overwhelmed with all the good

  556. things, and I felt I want to run away. God had to open

  557. up my ice to see Elvin, trust in me, don't trust in yourself.

  558. Second group, Maybe it's been hard for you to see. Maybe you've

  559. been looking at a problem so long that you have accepted and said, Okay,

  560. maybe this is my life and I will accept it. It could be

  561. discouraged when again. If that is you, I want to pray that God

  562. will open your spiritual eyes to see what God wants you to see. Amen.

  563. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information on our
