Today. I want to share about that all may know.

So that's our team that all may know. And of

course you're like, oh okay, another we're does sing you

know a message? You know? I joke in my homes

last Friday, I said, hey, guys, we're gonna talk about

evangelism today. It's a scary word, right. It's a scary word, right,

evangelism of your scart night or you're feeling beat right,

And I said, no, let's let's let's take a different

approach toate. And we did a Bible study and it

was very refreshing because as we did the Bible study

with the different scriptures and we couldn't finish all because

we have time, it was very interesting to hear the

homies share their perspective of what they read in the

Bible about evangelism. And I thought it was very cool.

And the one thing that we all learned was that

it has to be intentional and it was something and

it was different style. It was not based on all

you must be like, you know, Bible scholar. You know

you can do no anyone can do evangelism right, and

that was quite refreshing. Amen. So when we talk about that,

all may know, and I was praying, Lord, what is

the thing that I can pass on to the XPJ people.

What is the thing that can pass on to this church,

my family that will help them with their faith from

today onwards. There's always my encouragement and the one word

that I call it says, but before that, let's read

the scriptures Matthew twenty eight, verse nineteen to twenty. Okay,

it says, go therefore and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and of

the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to

observe all things that I've commanded you, and low I'm

with you always, even to the end of the age.

So it talks about making disciples. Okay, I don't know why.

It's a perception about creatos Christianity. I know all of

us have perceptions. I know a lot of us when

we skirt around different things about us being believers, whether

it's the Bible, there's a certain trend to you on.

So when you talk about evangelism, it is something definitely

difficult when Oh, evangelism is you need to go up

to a stranger and then preach the gospel to hima.

That's our our mindset. Can I be honest with you

and tell you no, that's not evangelism. There is one

way to evangelism, to evangelize, but there are many ways

where God can use you on no right, there are

many things. So today we will explore I don't know

whether it's one of evangelism, but we'll explore this word discipleship.

Because the Bible says, go there for and make disciples.

He didn't say, go therefore and preach the gospel. Say

he did say, but Jesus ask commembers, go there for,

make disciples and do what teach. First baptized, So baptism

been baptized pace God. Naw, you can go and baptize

really fulfilling scripture. We are right, so baptizing them in

the name of the Father's Son of Holy Spirit and

doing what teaching them to observe all things that have

commanded you and low I'm with you always, even to

the end of the age, So diciper ship. I know

some people use the word mentor. Honestly, I don't like

that word. Can't tell you why. It's a convenient word

to use because the business people use it. But mentor

just tells you that I know more than you. Discipleship

doesn't necessarily mean I know more than you are now

the apparition just mean I think we should read the

Bible more and find out together what Jesus say, because

what are we discipling someone towards that's important. Entering is like,

oh I know more, so I give you the secret.

But when you talk about discipleship, I'm discipling you tow

us a way of life. I'm working with you towards

this way of life. And I don't have all the

answers because I'm still learning, but I'm bringing you along.

Maybe I know a little bit more than you by

bringing you along with me. And that's the siper ship.

That's the way I look at discipleship. Jesus walk with

his disciples for three years on this earth, three years

on you guys, how many of us Christians where long? Ready?

How many of you here have been a Christian for

ten years? Really? Ten years? Ten years? Okay, let's go higher,

fifteen years, twenty years, okay, let's go lower. Okay, five

years Christian? Three years? Two years? The rest of you

don't believe? Is it? After this we're gonna get a

discipleship today. Okay, let's talk about discipleship today. First question

I have, and again in no way this question is

let me tell you that. First question. Am I a disciple?

First question? Am I a disciple? Right? Just because you're

in a garage, it doesn't make you a car. Just

because you're standing in the zoo, it doesn't make you

one of the zoo animals. Right, Just because you're holding

Just because you're in church doesn't mean you're a Christian?

Am I a disciple? First question? Second question? Am I

discipling someone? Let's let's let's not oh no, break no,

let's be as clear as they on what the scriptures say?

Am I discipling someone? And can I help you think

a bit further? We're not just talking about discipling in

the church context. On me, Oh, discipling someone means I

must be home leader first, okay, all home leaders disciple people,

yes yes or no no no no? In extra system

called harder leader. So your harder leader than oh you

are there and you're know how the leader and you're

not last time Jesus Us don't have why we use

the world harder. It's just our church lingola. It's just

a lingo. Something we understand, right, hoddle Oh how they

Am I discipling someone? Not just in the context, not

when you rise up. Parents, I'm speaking to you first.

And for those of you who are not parents yet,

one day you will become parents. So please remember these words.

When you wake your child up on a Sunday and

you force them to go in the car and they're screaming.

When you put the offering in your hands, say please

give a free You are teaching them in the ways

of the law. But they don't mean it. They are

not doing it out of willingness of heart. They're just

doing it as a routine. Aren't you discipling them when

you don't feel like coming on a Sunday or any

other time. See it's not again. Don't get me wrong now,

I'm not just encouraging you so that I can am

more thanis on Sunday. Guys, if you think that I'm

so shallow, I apologize. I'm never thinking about that. How

we live our lives Honestly, parents, you notice how you

live your life will translate to your children, whether you

like it or not, whether you like it or not. So, parents,

you are discipling your children. And the Bible says you

shall teach them diligently your children, and shall talk to

them when you see in your house, when you walk

by the way, when you lie down when you rise up?

How is the talk at home? Parents? I pray that

you will catch something to there and you will start

talking Bible with them. Ephesion sixty one four says, children

obey your parents in the Lord powerfula not children obey

your parents full stompino. Children, obey your parents in the Lord.

That also tells you that if your parents do stuff

that it's not in the laughner, you should listen to

them or not. You think about it how you want

to translate this. Children, obey your parents in the Lord,

for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which

is the first commandment with a promise, because you say

you will live long when you honor your father, mother

will live long. Okay, that it may be well with

you and you may live long on the earth. And

you fathers, all fathers here, do not provoke your children

to wrath. I used to not understand this. Huh, how

important that we do it. Parents, you are discipling your children.

They are in your handle. Yes, there was no official conversation,

and yes you have to feed them and pay for everything. Yeah,

the birth set is the confirmation. But parents, that's the reality.

You are discipling your kids. You are the first people

that disciple our kids. You know, last time, before church

contacts and everything. How at home they have to at

home have practices, right, they had to teach their kids

at home what the Lord says. Last time you got

no bible for you to buy and no last time

I have to be mother father, remember the promises and

tell you you know last time when Joshua was shared,

there was no written word there was no nothing there

was like, Okay, we listened to him, and we better

go back and remember and tell our kids to follow

the same way, because not they will get lost because

if not, they will listen all kind of funny thing,

because if not, they will you know, And it's happened

many many times in the Bible. They forget let's not forget.

Second point, children discipling parents, parents. Can I share this

with you? And I've seen this a few times a day,

even me myself, I've shared one or two times how

my own kids are discipling me. God uses them to

teach me to humble myself and to do things that

I will not normally do. And I've heard testimonies about

how kids are discipling parents. Kids are telling their parents

Mamy that day we need to pray. Actually sees you

guys are doing an amazing job. Keep it up, keep

it up. Uh don't know. I don't know where did

they learn or not they learn. Oh, but they're just

repeating it like robot like that the same. No, they're

doing it. I'm seeing the effects on my children. I'm

seeing the effects of the training of the training. Friends

discipling friends. Do you know that that can happen. Hey, guys, come,

let's go drink this and eat this and nolah no

real healthy dealer. Maybe you shouldn't. Oh no, let's let's

go and party and let's do. Everybody doing so I follow,

but everybody doing. Sorry, No, I can't lah. Sorry, I

have to wake up with you tomorrow. You know, I

have to worship God. I better not friends, discipling friends.

I spoke to this this won't care. I know who

they are when they started working coming every time I click,

talking to me about you know, go club lah go

and you know, sleep here, sleep there, Okay, go and

do all these things, funny funny things. How I cannot participate.

I feel pressure. I cannot. They hang out and they talk,

I cannot how. I mean, sorry, I went straight. I

Just just maintain, just just keep you. I know it's

gonna be hard now, but just maintain that testimony because

later on you will changed. And it was tough because

everyone was doing it, everyone was talking about it. And

every time that person is there's a bus kill. You're

the most boring person because you're square and you don't

talk about these things. Six months later, same get You

know what, they don't include me at all. Every time

I come they keep quiet, But I just continue to

be faithful. But you know what started happening. One or

two of them who is going through trouble started coming

to me to ask for advice because they know I

don't do nonsense like this, and they were asking me

for deep advice on how to deal with your life

because they know that it is wrong. Discipleship bosses, discipling

subordinates can happen even better, Christians discipling pre believers. Do

you know that every time you are in the presence

of your non believer friends, you are sort of discipling

them with your actions. You are whether you like it

or not. They see your life, they see how you live.

They will decide I want to be Christian or not.

It happens, and the Bible encourages us in metthew five sixteen.

Let your light shine, so shine before men that they

may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

You know, you get the testimony, and you get you know,

you get the challenge. Yes, the challenge is that let

me let me I mean, it is going to be

a challenge. But when you overcome the challenge and we

get the testimony, you benefit. But beyond that, God gets

the glory. Beyond that, God sees Wow. If it can

happen for you, it can happen for me. Right. Let

me tell you something that I've noticed recently, very interesting.

I might have mentioned it before I started realizing a

lot of people started exercising as well. In fact, I

don't know. Maybe because I'm a good sales person, right,

I manage you get a few better in the officer

who will not step in through the GMA to come

and join me. You know why I'm so successful. This

is my assumption, which I think is not saying that

don't see me as inspirational. They see me as he's

so lower he do I better do which I think

is good or sola in a way, that's what I think,

which I think is true. Right. Let your light shine

before men that they may see your good works and

glorify your Father in heaven. Amen. You guys catching something? Amen? Amen,

I guys. Okay, discipleship. I believe in discipleship. Let me

tell you why, because I am a disciple. I am

a disciple. Unapologetically, I am a disciple. Ah you mean

you just follow whatever else that tells you to do? Yes, la.

Most of the time. The time I don't follow, I

regret honest, Yes, But I am a disciple, and I

believe in discipling others. Right. I believe in it because

I see it works. It works. If something works, why

do we need to change it? Why do we need

to be so action to think that doesn't work? It

worked so long ago? And if we want to study

about disciple sheep, just look at how Jesus did it.

Why are we so averse to discipleship when Jesus himself

did it? Hey, and he did it more extremely all

you guys like him, Right, you're like him staying together

for one night? Do you know how many nights the

disciples were with Jesus, staying together, eating together, right things,

scolded by him, experiencing miracles, experiencing I'm announced, running away

from people that want to kill Jesus, trying to find

Jesus because Jesus, and don't go away. Every morning Jesus

wakes up, then they wake them up. Where is he?

How praying? Again? Are you? Three years? They will him

discipleship every day they see him, every day they see Jesus.

So what is discipleship? And is something that I've caught

in my years of discipleship that I want to pass

on to you guys and I hope that you guys

will do something with it. Amen. Firstly, discipleship is about

following Jesus. Can you agree that? True? Right? We are Christians,

we are Jesus Disciples, so we should follow Jesus. Whatever

he do, we do, whatever he says, we say. However,

he the values that he carry important, we carry important? Right,

Not the latest speaker, not the latest band, not the

latest Christian trend, not the latest t shirt, not the

latest cap, not the late just practice, not the latest miracle. Jesus,

Amen Jesus. That is all we need to follow, not

another pastor Jesus. We follow Jesus. It is about following Christ.

Discipleship is also about we don't like this word submission, submission.

I have come to see that submission is a very

powerful thing. Do you know it takes a person of

strength to submit, to say, Oh, with all the bones

in my body, I don't agree by what something? Do

you know that it's easier to know something, way easier.

You know what, You're not against me, You're not for me,

you're against me. It's okay, bye bye, I go do

my own thing. I go to another place, I quit

my job. Then you see, whether important or not, that's

not submission. That's my action. Do you know it's harder

to submit? He's hard to say I don't agree by a.

days we really had the discipleship thing going on, right

we were trying to figure it out also that time. Now,

I think we're much better the amount of times that

I had to submit really fully. Do you know that

if if you agree and you do it, it's not

really submission because it's very easy one if you're aligning it,

or you ask me to do something that I also

want to do, okn I you know, praise the Lord.

Do you know when it's hard when you're being told

to do something that you're that you you don't well

agree it's one thing, not one is like no, but

I want I keep one thing to do this And

then your leaders say you better not because it's not

for you, and you're like no, but but but it

feels good. But I prayed and the Lord spoke and

it's this girl. What How can you my heart get

the behind me satan? Right? Can I share you my

own experience? Like I said, I don't listen to my

hather leader all the time. But every time I don't

listen to my heart leader, I regret because I suffer

the consequences of not listening to wisdom. Can I give

you another perspective when we talk about deciper shit right?

You know you say in a marriage there is tree,

right we share it? Why because it's husband, wife and Christ.

Do you know that in a discipleship relationship is the

same thing. You, your discipler and God. God is in

the picture. No, guys, God is always in the picture,

Hospit is always in the picture, right, always in the picture.

Why sometimes we see it as though God is not

in a picture. God, he is in the picture. You

mean God speak to you? You know you talk about

married now you mean godspeak to you. Can I speak

to the godspect to the wife? Can I speak to

the husband? Or so? Can? What? Right? So? You mean

God can speak to you? Can I speak to your discipler?

Submission is important. Submission. We are submitting to God when

we are reading this scripture? Aren't we submitting to God?

I do not see an issue with submission. Can I

say that? I totally don't see an issue. I don't

really understand why people see it issue with it. I

don't see it issue with it. In fact, I've seen

myself grow so much because of some mission. Let me

give you another example. Sorry I say last gym one,

been reflecting about my success rate doing the training, you know,

my sux rate too, is that when I'm in the gym,

coach asked me to do, I will do. I will

not question. Even right now, I six months saiday, I

think you know more. I will follow his program. I

you know, And sometimes I think I'm shure this. Sometimes

I see people in the gym five round after do

three round. Now, then you start seeing them sit down,

look at the stairs and contemplating their life. Why am

I here? Why am I doing this? Why I agree

every time I'm there, I just follow you. Why because

about God's word. You know, as I'm sharing this with you,

I hope you will catch these points because this is

how you determine whether or not the person that discipling

you or the person that you're seeking mentorship from us

is legit because if Jesus is not there, his submission

is not there. If God's not there, you better be

very careful because there are a lot of people out

here that can be giving you a lot of advice

as well. But these few things need to be important.

It is about God's word why Joshua Waned says the

Book of the Lord shall not depart from your mouth,

but you shall meditate in it day and night, that

you may observe to do according to all that is

written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous,

and then you will have good success, good success. Recently

we were at AMD and every time I see the

word prosperous, I keep thinking, oh, prosperous Manila Chinese or

prosperity maybe because the whole God prosperity thing, right, But

the word prosperous in the Hebrew word doesn't mean that. No,

It kind of means that you will be made complete

or something like that. So it doesn't just talk about money.

It talks about your being. When the Lord prospers you,

you can go and do it on study but passed

Jeffrey shared during our AMD gave that revelation like, wow,

that's quite powerful. I never saw that that way before,

you know. So it is about God's word. Okay, okay,

let's go deeper. You guys say, okay, I know I

don't have the time, but I'll try my best. This

ciper ship is spending time. Throughout the Gospels, we see

this Mark fourteen twenty two. As they were eating, Jesus

took bread blessed and broke it and gave it to

them and said, take eat. This is my body. Look

twenty four forty two for the tree says. So they

It takes time to disciple people. I have the priviledge

of learning about discipleship because I was decipled. Elders spend

time with me. You know how wonderful Elder spend time

me every day. I see him in the office last

time when we were saying just planner, I see Elder

Kenya seven days a week, praise the Lord everything or

so now And because every day is there, but it

was good. It was good. We have to spend time friends,

your discipleship, relationship. For those of you who are discipling others,

you've got to spend time for those of you who

are being discipled. You also got to spend time. Recently,

Who is the king? He's spending time a man? Discipleship

is intentional John four, five to thirty. I'm not gonna

read it. It's basically about the Samaritan woman. Jesus was

very intentional. We were in our homes. One of our

out of the way to talk to her. He was

real fake. Let me tell you another form of discipleship

that's very intentional and very effective multi level marketing, very intentional,

church accept me for who I am, where I am,

and however I am? Why must I do this? It's

very fun? I don't understand. Yes, it's hard, But is

it about the dressing or is it by the attitude?

It's hot. Discipship is hot. You know that discipleship is

also messy and painful. It is John six sixty six.

This probably where six SIXX come from. At this point,

many of his disciples turned away and deserted him. Bye

bye Jesus. So for those of you are discipening people,

if someone feel hey, you're like Jesus. For those of

you who one day want to be discipled and are

going to disciple others, be ready for people to turn

away from you. Let me share your story. I use

to take care of the teens. When I started in Acts,

I was very passionate about the youth ministry, and I

was in teens Ministry and during the time, I took

take care of a few of the teen guys. And

I used to stay in I mean you no I

saying Clang, I say in Klang. And one of my

teen guys stay in Sharlam. So every time we got

changed event, I will hatch you okay, drive from kind

to Shalam, Shalam to Summit, okay, every time. So for

four years I took care of this boy uh and

this boy uh you know, sort of have a health condition,

very clear on it. But again, leaders, you just you know,

care care care, and all right, and thanks and and

and and we were close. We were tight. You know,

you know, how do we are tight? And stuff like that? Right?

And I remember once after four years or showing, he

came to a point where, uh, anyway, due to his

hot conditions, sometimes this boy can fain right now, like

there was once during price sins. No, then they were like, no,

don'tbody know what to do? What to do? I talked

to the holiday holidays do what to do? You're like,

I just don't know and bring to the side. Then

that's how I found out more. I had to talk

to the band and stuff. Okay, anyway, long story, So

it came to a point after four years or so,

it came to a point where, you know, you know,

after you are close enough to a person and then

you feel like, you know what I think, Now it's

time that you can receive the hard truth of life.

Right close enough? Itma, you know where I'm coming from, right,

so you need to ask you to maybe don't be

solid and brush your teeth and dress up nicely. You know.

It reached a point where I had to kind of

do that because they want two things this person is doing.

It was like, I think it can be better a lot.

And I wasn't very hard now right, I don't know,

or thought maybe I was. I don't know, and uh.

And we had a difficult conversation in the car, difficult,

you know, and I was trying to explain and and

it just didn't get it. Okay, just didn't get it

so much sore. Let me tell you how dramatic this is.

A person get out of the car walker and then

from from the car to because the person live in

the bungalow. Okay, very nice house. From the car through

the bungalow, it's like maybe fifty meters now halfway said there,

halfway walking and I thought, okay, can I go back?

I know, we talk about it again, right walking halfway

in the middle of the pathway, have ping Sunday, you know.

And night after I'm like, oh shucks. I came out

of the car, I carried, I carried this boy, went

to the house parents or shot now of course normal driller,

and then put him on the car. That expl what happened.

And I said, until okay, then they know maybe And

then I lived and then I left right, and and

why why do you want to change? Because Elvin, you

did nothing for me, nothing for me these few years.

I had to put on a straight face like I

to just you know, take it a The other leader

Is it worth it to disciple young people like this?

Is it worth it? When you have someone say that

to your face? Is it worth it? You know when

you have conversations like God, you know not God to

speak to you. You know not God spoke to me Delvin.

Remember Judas Judas was one of jesus disciples, And I'm like, win, hello,

okay God. I was really seriously asking God, God, is

it worth it? Is it worth it to continue yourself?

But the moment I caught it, I'm like, okay, no,

I cannot say anything. Thank you Lord for the experience.

Now I know how you felt, Jesus, when you felt betrayed,

when you betrayed by Judas, when you were down, you

pot everything. You gave him the honored seat at the

last Supper. You honored him when he was going to

betray you. I will still do it again. I had

to ask myself, would I still do the foy us again?

Knowing that this can happen. God had other plans. So

We believe, we believe, and we know you are the

last point rewarding. It is so I have the opportunity

to disciple many many men, and I just want to

you know, I'm very great. Please come to my head.

Please don't do that. And okay, in fact, I'll say

of us here we are also in a discipleship relationship.

But I want to encourage you to also start discipling others.

You are if you are being the receiving end, because

in the Bible it says freely as you receive, freely gave.

You know, people ask me why I do it. It's

very simple. I benefited from it and I've received it,

so I freely gave because I received, I really gave.

I received, I freely gave, and then a lot ass

You know why because I'm the Chish plant coordinator, so

I have to reach out to students. So we had

students coming from Segi and when I realized, how come

one of our African brothers not coming here? I better

connect with him? And he lies on me, you know.

So I remember he didn't come for a Sunday service,

and I'm like, because I'm the CPC and this is

my job, I just do it, even though I got prejudices.

Don't know whether he come to major on legitims or not.

Maybe he come here at the scam called place. Hey.

Can I be honest? I'm honest? Okay, right, no, who knows?

You know? Hey, By the way, just to let you know,

Nigerians came to Manjor first and they kind of destroyed

our perspective of Africans. Not all that like he froms

him he's fine, so so perception perception, So I'm like, sure,

not legit. And and I remember meeting up with him

in an w right uh and uh and and and

we had macan and then you know, and then we

and we had this chat about church and I remember

encourage you and said, brother, just come anyway and if

we need to leave early early, because he was saying,

you know the y ones that come to the church,

we'll go and eat expensive places. And then he cannot

afford so he feel bad. So he had forty, so

he feel bad. And then you know, how long we

know Olier? How many years today? Ten years? Oh okay,

non music, not music, I'm not done yet. Okay. Ten years?

Ten years okay, well, ten years, I didn't my goodness,

ten years. We've got a lot of stories together. He

might not I mean it, but I always tell him, like,

you broke my perspective of Africans because I used to

think you guys are all scarre at this. But the

cool thing is that now I have a son good cry.

So so a lot of sewing, uh and I I this,

but a lot of sewing and and everything.

And and I'm so proud.

Of him, okay because uh it's all the pain that

he's possibly.

Like taking like a father. So a lot of sewing

and and everything. And I mean, if you guys know Daniel,

he's an awesome guy. I'm so thankful he's in our church

and he quite life, you know, because all his friends

left by you here And I remember asking him, you know,

he why you never go? It was so funny, right,

He's like, I have no reason. If God has sent

me here and this my church, why do I need

to look for another place? And I'm like, this is

really a son of the house, you know. And we've

got a lot of ups and downs together, right, But

he's a call leaden. I'm just so proud him. Another

person want to call up doctor Jason, say say say

doctor Jason. Come so doctor Jason. Easy to count because

the first time we had XPA service, the first real service,

the fifth service was the launch because three hundred people

came and then the next week we had the real one,

real one where you know, the real amount of people

came and I remember this, you know, young man sitting

in the corner here right, and I was carrying. And

then of course we a prayer are during the worship,

but we had no leaders man, so we went and

pray for each other. And I went and pray for him.

And again now because it's my job to be CPC,

I go ahead reach out to new people. Are so

I remember the first time we met where in h

Quota Commanning. You were willing to drive all the way

to Quota Commaning and we muck, no, no, I went

to Satia. Lam right, we're canna remember that. Anyway, we

went somewhere and met somewhere. Okay, yeah, I came to someway.

First meeting sunway, the first one, yeah something premier. Oh wow,

you remember? Okay, Oh my goodness, I don't remember. So

first time PJ from then until now, and of course

it started awkward and then talk and then just hang out.

And then he's probably like, why is this guy calling

spending time, spending time, And then later it came to

a point where you know it was a discipleship relationship,

you know. And then I don't know why I don't.

It's not mere. I don't because I know I'm not

so smart. I'm not so whyever, he's doctor. No, I'm

no one. Okay, you know, but every time we talked

and we finished talking, it's really the lot. He will

always tell me, oh, really, whatever you say, and I'm like,

I don't remember why I said just that. But I

remember one thing. Every time I speak to him, I

will pray on Lord, please give me aysto, please help me,

because he's he's presenting this problem. I don't know answer it,

and you've got to give me the wisdom. And Jason

now is our worship coordinator, you know he I'm just

using church again now, right. Of course he's an awesome

home leader, he's an awesome husband. All these things was

know what, Tim, I'm gonna get you to lead the homes,

but I'm gonna lead first and then you assist, and

then time I'm gonna hand out to you because I

got no time, right, And then he didn't say no,

So he's he's the current home leader of their homes. Okay.

You might have heard this testimony before, but Timo Tikuana

was a rebellious temper student last time. Okay, why because

he constantly questioned Gola, why you sent me to ex church?

This church is nonsense church. You know, I don't nderstand

why I'm here a lord. Why now he understands because

the law has led him to a future future potential wife.

You know. Yeah, now he understands. You know. Last time

he don't understand right. Uh. And and it was many

many years of sewing talking right right, I'm not Jason right,

but many years and then I also ask myself, this

boy don't want to be here, God, why is he

still here? Why is this? And then suddenly one day,

he's leading our things. He's doing such an awesome job, right,

first few months of our homes are during discussion now

a great encouragement. And you know the one thing I

recently did the book reading thing and he was awesome, right,

but spending time, I think Jason did more spending time

than me. I've only had two conversations with Ushan, but

they were really good conversations. I don't want to remember

or not I remember. He don't remember. He's like when

you know, because I hardly met him. But we had

two comminations, right, and it was very deep, thoughtful commodations,

and I went thankful for Sunday's guys. These guys are

my disciples. I'm confident to say that these guys are

my disciples. Right, And if you see these guys, there

are also people building the church. What you don't see

is the time spans so many months Jason tried to

convince team. Yes, yes, oh sorry, yes, yes, many years.

So if you feel like extra not, just go talk

to the team. Many years of conversation, many years of conversation,

many years of conversation here right, let me tell you testimony. Uh,

when our previous worship coordinator wanted to move on, and

I was praying for worship cordator, and I was like, Hula,

who who is going to help build a worship team

in such a state, you know, And I don't know why.

I'm like maybe Jason. But I know Jason. Now, if

will ask ten thousand times, and then he's so busy.

got a shocked and he's done such an awesome job.

It's almost like I hands off, right, a little bit

hands off, and and I must I might share a

bit of the bad stuff was at Jason you okay,

right during pandemic. It was tough for him. It was tough.

It was very hard. I call him every week and

pray for him every week and ask myself, I spent

so many years did this guy's seeing you do this

car thing? Not bad by my job? My job? I

believe in thisciper shit every way. I encourage him every way.

I say, Hey, God will be there if you. Hey,

don't give up. Hey, continue to be faithful, Hey, continue

to keep what you need to do, continue to be

fitful in the things that got ask you to do,

continue to be a good example in your company. Don't

give up, don't give up. God has a call for

you every week. And then thinking myself. Don't know he

will come to church or not. Don't know he'll go

to homes or not. Don't know he will survive leadership

or not. And now he's worship cordinator. I'm sharing all

these things because I want you to see a picture

of diciper ship. We see the you know what we say,

Jason said, just now what you see outside it's not real.

You only see the fruit. It is rewarding, but you

don't see the Christ, the tears. You don't see the

long conversations. That's all the hyper ship. This is why

I believe in the scipership. This is why I believe

that all of us who are disciples grow and they

are discipling others. They are because they've seen the value

of discipleship and they want to do it. Is it immediate? No?

It took Daniel so long to disciple people because he's

such a friendly guy. Everybody seem his friend. But now

he got doctor Jason Chid that he score all the time.

You know, Jo Jo, Joe Jo, you know, is it

gonna be immediate? No? But my final point, and thanks guys,

thanks so much, thanks so much. My final point is this,

and because I know it over timelyday, going back to

the scripture Matthew twenty eight, nineteen to twenty. Friends, discipleship

is necessary. If we don't disciple people in the church,

the church will not stand. If we don't challenge people

in the church, the church will not stand. Do you

know that? Do you know that if we do whatever

we want and there's no submission, and there's no routing,

and there's no structure, and there's no you know, uh, trusting,

do you know that, we are not going to survive

because we will be the moment now got some happening.

Things happen now, everybody will go there. It is only

true discipleship during the hardest times in our church? Are

you know who are the ones that were standing firm

the leaders because we believe? Do you know that for

those of you who here and are not leaders, and

maybe do you know that you, whether you like it

or not, you were looking at your leaders and how

they respond. You're looking at them. Hey, if you go,

I go because I like him. But if you're a disciple,

you know, I'm gonna believe, I'm gonna stay, I'm gonna

rute myself. I'm gonna say this is it I'm not

gonna sway left and right. You know I've be in

wondering Lord, why have I not grown? I will ask

you this question, have you been discipled? Are you a disciple?

Is he easy? You know it's not, but it takes

the first step of decision to say, Okay, I want

to be discipled. I want to at least come to

this place where I will trust someone to speak into

my life, not due to the person's wisdom and understanding

and maturity, but due to the fact that this person

submits to God and God will use him or her.

That is the picture you need to have. You know,

if you choose a discipler based on their talents and

their experience and their seniority on EA, do you know

that it's very shortsighted because men will fail you. But

if you find someone that the Lord has placed in

your life, it will be a powerful relationship. I'm sure

some of them are never expected me to be discipled them,

But now we've grown. See it's a growing You know,

you've grown to the place of trust. You've grown to

the place of ar Okay, I learned enough about you,

then whatever you say, I'll follow. I learned enough about

what how the Lord uses you and a them mistakes?

Yes they are. Do I say the wrong thing something? Yes?

I do A few times a day. I had a

bag and for for it Daniel and I had to

call him up and say, Bro, I'm sorry, you're right,

maybe you don't go this way we need to admit.

Does that destroy a religion? The closer you are, the

stronger you are. I know I didn't call some guys

here because sorry, you're not enough space, A lot of space,

not enough time to talk about all of our stories, right,

But I know some of you here have your own story.

Some of you here have I don't know. Maybe you

don't even formalize the relationship. Maybe it's just home leader

that you talk to, you meet up that cares for you.

Maybe there's someone that looks up to you that you're like,

I don't know why, but this person keep asking me

for advice. Yeah, then disciple the person to Christ discipleship.

I hope today's message gives us a healthy perception of discipleship,

healthy because that is what Jesus ask us to do.

So I don't like to use the womantor because Jesus

used the well disciple you know, when you study about

discipleship in the way of those days, it is about following,

being an apprentice of the person that you are following.

Decide It says, follow me, follow me? Are you willing

to follow? Follow me? Amen?
