  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Today. I want to share about that all may know.

  4. So that's our team that all may know. And of

  5. course you're like, oh okay, another we're does sing you

  6. know a message? You know? I joke in my homes

  7. last Friday, I said, hey, guys, we're gonna talk about

  8. evangelism today. It's a scary word, right. It's a scary word, right,

  9. evangelism of your scart night or you're feeling beat right,

  10. And I said, no, let's let's let's take a different

  11. approach toate. And we did a Bible study and it

  12. was very refreshing because as we did the Bible study

  13. with the different scriptures and we couldn't finish all because

  14. we have time, it was very interesting to hear the

  15. homies share their perspective of what they read in the

  16. Bible about evangelism. And I thought it was very cool.

  17. And the one thing that we all learned was that

  18. it has to be intentional and it was something and

  19. it was different style. It was not based on all

  20. you must be like, you know, Bible scholar. You know

  21. you can do no anyone can do evangelism right, and

  22. that was quite refreshing. Amen. So when we talk about that,

  23. all may know, and I was praying, Lord, what is

  24. the thing that I can pass on to the XPJ people.

  25. What is the thing that can pass on to this church,

  26. my family that will help them with their faith from

  27. today onwards. There's always my encouragement and the one word

  28. that I call it says, but before that, let's read

  29. the scriptures Matthew twenty eight, verse nineteen to twenty. Okay,

  30. it says, go therefore and make disciples of all nations,

  31. baptizing them in the name of the Father and of

  32. the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to

  33. observe all things that I've commanded you, and low I'm

  34. with you always, even to the end of the age.

  35. So it talks about making disciples. Okay, I don't know why.

  36. It's a perception about creatos Christianity. I know all of

  37. us have perceptions. I know a lot of us when

  38. we skirt around different things about us being believers, whether

  39. it's the Bible, there's a certain trend to you on.

  40. So when you talk about evangelism, it is something definitely

  41. difficult when Oh, evangelism is you need to go up

  42. to a stranger and then preach the gospel to hima.

  43. That's our our mindset. Can I be honest with you

  44. and tell you no, that's not evangelism. There is one

  45. way to evangelism, to evangelize, but there are many ways

  46. where God can use you on no right, there are

  47. many things. So today we will explore I don't know

  48. whether it's one of evangelism, but we'll explore this word discipleship.

  49. Because the Bible says, go there for and make disciples.

  50. He didn't say, go therefore and preach the gospel. Say

  51. he did say, but Jesus ask commembers, go there for,

  52. make disciples and do what teach. First baptized, So baptism

  53. carry that is well done. You're fulfilling the scripture. You've

  54. been baptized pace God. Naw, you can go and baptize

  55. other people. Yeah, now you can go baptist because you

  56. see these baptizing is. Do you realize that yesterday it

  57. was not pastors or elders or evangelists or some big

  58. times speaker baptizing. It was jess An Edlin. Yes they

  59. were leaders, Yes they were hash one but they believe

  60. in Jesus. They may baptize a long time ago, aren't

  61. really fulfilling scripture. We are right, so baptizing them in

  62. the name of the Father's Son of Holy Spirit and

  63. doing what teaching them to observe all things that have

  64. commanded you and low I'm with you always, even to

  65. the end of the age, So diciper ship. I know

  66. some people use the word mentor. Honestly, I don't like

  67. that word. Can't tell you why. It's a convenient word

  68. to use because the business people use it. But mentor

  69. just tells you that I know more than you. Discipleship

  70. doesn't necessarily mean I know more than you are now

  71. the apparition just mean I think we should read the

  72. Bible more and find out together what Jesus say, because

  73. what are we discipling someone towards that's important. Entering is like,

  74. oh I know more, so I give you the secret.

  75. But when you talk about discipleship, I'm discipling you tow

  76. us a way of life. I'm working with you towards

  77. this way of life. And I don't have all the

  78. answers because I'm still learning, but I'm bringing you along.

  79. Maybe I know a little bit more than you by

  80. bringing you along with me. And that's the siper ship.

  81. That's the way I look at discipleship. Jesus walk with

  82. his disciples for three years on this earth, three years

  83. on you guys, how many of us Christians where long? Ready?

  84. How many of you here have been a Christian for

  85. ten years? Really? Ten years? Ten years? Okay, let's go higher,

  86. fifteen years, twenty years, okay, let's go lower. Okay, five

  87. years Christian? Three years? Two years? The rest of you

  88. don't believe? Is it? After this we're gonna get a

  89. Savagian called hey by now you know how I appreciate it.

  90. I need response. Now, don't do this to me. I'm

  91. wearing my heart out for you all. Let's talk about

  92. discipleship today. Okay, let's talk about discipleship today. First question

  93. I have, and again in no way this question is

  94. to if you feel out, it's not me, it's Holy Spirit. Okay,

  95. let me tell you that. First question. Am I a disciple?

  96. First question? Am I a disciple? Right? Just because you're

  97. in a garage, it doesn't make you a car. Just

  98. because you're standing in the zoo, it doesn't make you

  99. one of the zoo animals. Right, Just because you're holding

  100. a friezebee doesn't make you a friezebee professional player, correct, Brian.

  101. Just because you're in church doesn't mean you're a Christian?

  102. Am I a disciple? First question? Second question? Am I

  103. discipling someone? Let's let's let's not oh no, break no,

  104. let's be as clear as they on what the scriptures say?

  105. Am I discipling someone? And can I help you think

  106. a bit further? We're not just talking about discipling in

  107. the church context. On me, Oh, discipling someone means I

  108. must be home leader first, okay, all home leaders disciple people,

  109. yes yes or no no no no? In extra system

  110. called harder leader. So your harder leader than oh you

  111. are there and you're know how the leader and you're

  112. not last time Jesus Us don't have why we use

  113. the world harder. It's just our church lingola. It's just

  114. a lingo. Something we understand, right, hoddle Oh how they

  115. lie scatler, But you'll do like cut like that. Want

  116. to meet every other day? Got a secret handshake where

  117. you're talking about all the time. No, no, no, no,

  118. not not even I'm not even talking about CPC or

  119. CPC pastor I disciple or of your Okay, we also

  120. wear deciper ship. Think about it. So gasha, am I disciple?

  121. Am I discipling someone? Not just in the context, not

  122. just oh you leader? Then you decide no, No, I

  123. was talking to someone yesterday. I think I think I

  124. was onre and we were saying here and he told

  125. me this. Uh. Don't you realize that Jesus disciples were

  126. text collectors, pharisees, doctors quite happening people are Do you

  127. realize that they were all following a carpenter, a blue

  128. collar worker? Very interesting? Right? My first point about disciple

  129. shap parents discipling your children, parents discipling your children. Let's

  130. go to scripture, Okay. Doutronomy six four seven says here,

  131. Oh Israel, the Lord, our God, the Lord is one.

  132. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,

  133. with all your soul, with all your strength. And these

  134. words which I command you today shall be eat your heart.

  135. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall

  136. talk of them when you sit in your house, when

  137. you walk by the way, when you lie down, and

  138. when you rise up. Parents, I'm speaking to you first.

  139. And for those of you who are not parents yet,

  140. one day you will become parents. So please remember these words.

  141. When you wake your child up on a Sunday and

  142. you force them to go in the car and they're screaming.

  143. When you put the offering in your hands, say please

  144. give a free You are teaching them in the ways

  145. of the law. But they don't mean it. They are

  146. not doing it out of willingness of heart. They're just

  147. doing it as a routine. Aren't you discipling them when

  148. you don't feel like coming on a Sunday or any

  149. other time. See it's not again. Don't get me wrong now,

  150. I'm not just encouraging you so that I can am

  151. more thanis on Sunday. Guys, if you think that I'm

  152. so shallow, I apologize. I'm never thinking about that. How

  153. we live our lives Honestly, parents, you notice how you

  154. live your life will translate to your children, whether you

  155. like it or not, whether you like it or not. So, parents,

  156. you are discipling your children. And the Bible says you

  157. shall teach them diligently your children, and shall talk to

  158. them when you see in your house, when you walk

  159. by the way, when you lie down when you rise up?

  160. How is the talk at home? Parents? I pray that

  161. you will catch something to there and you will start

  162. talking Bible with them. Ephesion sixty one four says, children

  163. obey your parents in the Lord powerfula not children obey

  164. your parents full stompino. Children, obey your parents in the Lord.

  165. That also tells you that if your parents do stuff

  166. that it's not in the laughner, you should listen to

  167. them or not. You think about it how you want

  168. to translate this. Children, obey your parents in the Lord,

  169. for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which

  170. is the first commandment with a promise, because you say

  171. you will live long when you honor your father, mother

  172. will live long. Okay, that it may be well with

  173. you and you may live long on the earth. And

  174. you fathers, all fathers here, do not provoke your children

  175. to wrath. I used to not understand this. Huh, how

  176. can I provoke my tuner off? Until nowadays I realize

  177. I love to message my boys, okay, but bring them

  178. up in the training and admonition of the lot. How

  179. many of you here into training? You're in training training?

  180. Any fund training? I know, Brian, is anyone training. Guys,

  181. come on, can you respond anyone in training? Training? Training?

  182. Training fun and not training fun or not? But I

  183. thought you like it, Brian, you love me right? You

  184. don't like the training? We can fun on not training

  185. every day fun and not not fun? Right? People think

  186. that I go to gym for fun. Now, guys, it

  187. is not fun at all, but I enjoy it funny right, funny.

  188. Training is not fun, but you can learn to enjoy

  189. it also, but not fun. It's not fun, but it's

  190. important that we do it. Parents, you are discipling your children.

  191. They are in your handle. Yes, there was no official conversation,

  192. and yes you have to feed them and pay for everything. Yeah,

  193. the birth set is the confirmation. But parents, that's the reality.

  194. You are discipling your kids. You are the first people

  195. that disciple our kids. You know, last time, before church

  196. contacts and everything. How at home they have to at

  197. home have practices, right, they had to teach their kids

  198. at home what the Lord says. Last time you got

  199. no bible for you to buy and no last time

  200. I have to be mother father, remember the promises and

  201. tell you you know last time when Joshua was shared,

  202. there was no written word there was no nothing there

  203. was like, Okay, we listened to him, and we better

  204. go back and remember and tell our kids to follow

  205. the same way, because not they will get lost because

  206. if not, they will listen all kind of funny thing,

  207. because if not, they will you know, And it's happened

  208. many many times in the Bible. They forget let's not forget.

  209. Second point, children discipling parents, parents. Can I share this

  210. with you? And I've seen this a few times a day,

  211. even me myself, I've shared one or two times how

  212. my own kids are discipling me. God uses them to

  213. teach me to humble myself and to do things that

  214. I will not normally do. And I've heard testimonies about

  215. how kids are discipling parents. Kids are telling their parents

  216. Mamy that day we need to pray. Actually sees you

  217. guys are doing an amazing job. Keep it up, keep

  218. it up. Uh don't know. I don't know where did

  219. they learn or not they learn. Oh, but they're just

  220. repeating it like robot like that the same. No, they're

  221. doing it. I'm seeing the effects on my children. I'm

  222. seeing the effects of the training of the training. Friends

  223. discipling friends. Do you know that that can happen. Hey, guys, come,

  224. let's go drink this and eat this and nolah no

  225. real healthy dealer. Maybe you shouldn't. Oh no, let's let's

  226. go and party and let's do. Everybody doing so I follow,

  227. but everybody doing. Sorry, No, I can't lah. Sorry, I

  228. have to wake up with you tomorrow. You know, I

  229. have to worship God. I better not friends, discipling friends.

  230. I spoke to this this won't care. I know who

  231. they are when they started working coming every time I click,

  232. talking to me about you know, go club lah go

  233. and you know, sleep here, sleep there, Okay, go and

  234. do all these things, funny funny things. How I cannot participate.

  235. I feel pressure. I cannot. They hang out and they talk,

  236. I cannot how. I mean, sorry, I went straight. I

  237. told you. I said, you know what, bro, just don't care.

  238. Just just maintain, just just keep you. I know it's

  239. gonna be hard now, but just maintain that testimony because

  240. later on you will changed. And it was tough because

  241. everyone was doing it, everyone was talking about it. And

  242. every time that person is there's a bus kill. You're

  243. the most boring person because you're square and you don't

  244. talk about these things. Six months later, same get You

  245. know what, they don't include me at all. Every time

  246. I come they keep quiet, But I just continue to

  247. be faithful. But you know what started happening. One or

  248. two of them who is going through trouble started coming

  249. to me to ask for advice because they know I

  250. don't do nonsense like this, and they were asking me

  251. for deep advice on how to deal with your life

  252. because they know that it is wrong. Discipleship bosses, discipling

  253. subordinates can happen even better, Christians discipling pre believers. Do

  254. you know that every time you are in the presence

  255. of your non believer friends, you are sort of discipling

  256. them with your actions. You are whether you like it

  257. or not. They see your life, they see how you live.

  258. They will decide I want to be Christian or not.

  259. It happens, and the Bible encourages us in metthew five sixteen.

  260. Let your light shine, so shine before men that they

  261. may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

  262. You know, you get the testimony, and you get you know,

  263. you get the challenge. Yes, the challenge is that let

  264. me let me I mean, it is going to be

  265. a challenge. But when you overcome the challenge and we

  266. get the testimony, you benefit. But beyond that, God gets

  267. the glory. Beyond that, God sees Wow. If it can

  268. happen for you, it can happen for me. Right. Let

  269. me tell you something that I've noticed recently, very interesting.

  270. I might have mentioned it before I started realizing a

  271. lot of people started exercising as well. In fact, I

  272. don't know. Maybe because I'm a good sales person, right,

  273. I manage you get a few better in the officer

  274. who will not step in through the GMA to come

  275. and join me. You know why I'm so successful. This

  276. is my assumption, which I think is not saying that

  277. it's trueler because Base Elvin is not a gym person,

  278. and he used to like food and eat a lot,

  279. and you know, enjoy his life and don't care about

  280. all these things. But now suddenly he's jimming, he's losing weight,

  281. and they cannot brain and they're like, if he can do,

  282. I better do. If this person that is not a

  283. gym person, that is so uh, you know, unhealthy all

  284. the time, that is so fat suddenly can be thin,

  285. I better do. Man If not I'm alo, so they

  286. don't see me as inspirational. They see me as he's

  287. so lower he do I better do which I think

  288. is good or sola in a way, that's what I think,

  289. which I think is true. Right. Let your light shine

  290. before men that they may see your good works and

  291. glorify your Father in heaven. Amen. You guys catching something? Amen? Amen,

  292. I guys. Okay, discipleship. I believe in discipleship. Let me

  293. tell you why, because I am a disciple. I am

  294. a disciple. Unapologetically, I am a disciple. Ah you mean

  295. you just follow whatever else that tells you to do? Yes, la.

  296. Most of the time. The time I don't follow, I

  297. regret honest, Yes, But I am a disciple, and I

  298. believe in discipling others. Right. I believe in it because

  299. I see it works. It works. If something works, why

  300. do we need to change it? Why do we need

  301. to be so action to think that doesn't work? It

  302. worked so long ago? And if we want to study

  303. about disciple sheep, just look at how Jesus did it.

  304. Why are we so averse to discipleship when Jesus himself

  305. did it? Hey, and he did it more extremely all

  306. you guys like him, Right, you're like him staying together

  307. for one night? Do you know how many nights the

  308. disciples were with Jesus, staying together, eating together, right things,

  309. scolded by him, experiencing miracles, experiencing I'm announced, running away

  310. from people that want to kill Jesus, trying to find

  311. Jesus because Jesus, and don't go away. Every morning Jesus

  312. wakes up, then they wake them up. Where is he?

  313. How praying? Again? Are you? Three years? They will him

  314. discipleship every day they see him, every day they see Jesus.

  315. So what is discipleship? And is something that I've caught

  316. in my years of discipleship that I want to pass

  317. on to you guys and I hope that you guys

  318. will do something with it. Amen. Firstly, discipleship is about

  319. following Jesus. Can you agree that? True? Right? We are Christians,

  320. we are Jesus Disciples, so we should follow Jesus. Whatever

  321. he do, we do, whatever he says, we say. However,

  322. he the values that he carry important, we carry important? Right,

  323. Not the latest speaker, not the latest band, not the

  324. latest Christian trend, not the latest t shirt, not the

  325. latest cap, not the late just practice, not the latest miracle. Jesus,

  326. Amen Jesus. That is all we need to follow, not

  327. another pastor Jesus. We follow Jesus. It is about following Christ.

  328. Discipleship is also about we don't like this word submission, submission.

  329. I have come to see that submission is a very

  330. powerful thing. Do you know it takes a person of

  331. strength to submit, to say, Oh, with all the bones

  332. in my body, I don't agree by what something? Do

  333. you know that it's easier to know something, way easier.

  334. You know what, You're not against me, You're not for me,

  335. you're against me. It's okay, bye bye, I go do

  336. my own thing. I go to another place, I quit

  337. my job. Then you see, whether important or not, that's

  338. not submission. That's my action. Do you know it's harder

  339. to submit? He's hard to say I don't agree by a.

  340. And all the wife here will know what I mean

  341. because daily they, Oh, my goodness, this another smart idea

  342. that he came out with. Again, how can I submit

  343. to this? Speak to him? I can admit, because I've

  344. come out a lot of smart ideas that my wife

  345. have to summit. Yeah, and I know some ideas were

  346. super smart, too smart for me to think about. I

  347. know she suffered a lot, so I always love her

  348. for it. You nine to threat twenty four says. Then

  349. he said to them all, if anyone desires to come

  350. after me, let him first what deny himself. Let's stupat

  351. that again, deny himself and do what? Take up his cross?

  352. Dealy and follow me. Do you know that this scripture

  353. is so hard to do? So hard? For whoever desires

  354. to save his life will lose it. But whoever loses

  355. his life for my sake will save it. This one

  356. scripture is enough for us to meditate and deal with

  357. our hart city. Deny himself. Every time I need to summit,

  358. I remind myself this scripture. Okay, God, it's not about me.

  359. It's not about me. It's so hard to summit. It's

  360. so hard to summit. But do you know that after

  361. you summit, and then you realize that your submission best fruit,

  362. it's easier to summit again. I have been in ex

  363. church for since down five. You know, yesterday when we're

  364. asking the question asked, oh how many of you in

  365. a X X what X XP J H how long?

  366. Then you're so weird because me and Jan Kyling and.

  367. Then we were like, uh XBJ you know.

  368. Uh and you haven't, so we're like then we answered

  369. the question how long have we been ex church? You know?

  370. And then I think Kyline said she was here earlier,

  371. right kyleen to down Tree two two one one, Oh

  372. my goodness, one year after church that you came Praised

  373. the Lord and you're still here, you know, wow, and

  374. and and and and g and we will all down

  375. five around the same time. And then the time was

  376. and everything, yeah, and uh, how long long we've been here?

  377. Where long we've seen the church go up and down

  378. and go through different things. And you know, since those

  379. days we really had the discipleship thing going on, right

  380. we were trying to figure it out also that time. Now,

  381. I think we're much better the amount of times that

  382. I had to submit really fully. Do you know that

  383. if if you agree and you do it, it's not

  384. really submission because it's very easy one if you're aligning it,

  385. or you ask me to do something that I also

  386. want to do, okn I you know, praise the Lord.

  387. Do you know when it's hard when you're being told

  388. to do something that you're that you you don't well

  389. agree it's one thing, not one is like no, but

  390. I want I keep one thing to do this And

  391. then your leaders say you better not because it's not

  392. for you, and you're like no, but but but it

  393. feels good. But I prayed and the Lord spoke and

  394. it's this girl. What How can you my heart get

  395. the behind me satan? Right? Can I share you my

  396. own experience? Like I said, I don't listen to my

  397. hather leader all the time. But every time I don't

  398. listen to my heart leader, I regret because I suffer

  399. the consequences of not listening to wisdom. Can I give

  400. you another perspective when we talk about deciper shit right?

  401. You know you say in a marriage there is tree,

  402. right we share it? Why because it's husband, wife and Christ.

  403. Do you know that in a discipleship relationship is the

  404. same thing. You, your discipler and God. God is in

  405. the picture. No, guys, God is always in the picture,

  406. Hospit is always in the picture, right, always in the picture.

  407. Why sometimes we see it as though God is not

  408. in a picture. God, he is in the picture. You

  409. mean God speak to you? You know you talk about

  410. married now you mean godspeak to you. Can I speak

  411. to the godspect to the wife? Can I speak to

  412. the husband? Or so? Can? What? Right? So? You mean

  413. God can speak to you? Can I speak to your discipler?

  414. Can also can al? So? Can? Right? Corent? Not so?

  415. Submission is important. Submission. We are submitting to God when

  416. we are reading this scripture? Aren't we submitting to God?

  417. I do not see an issue with submission. Can I

  418. say that? I totally don't see an issue. I don't

  419. really understand why people see it issue with it. I

  420. don't see it issue with it. In fact, I've seen

  421. myself grow so much because of some mission. Let me

  422. give you another example. Sorry I say last gym one,

  423. but I give you more. One of the things I've

  424. been reflecting about my success rate doing the training, you know,

  425. and I think one of the things that I equate

  426. my sux rate too, is that when I'm in the gym,

  427. this my focus on. When I'm in the gym, whatever

  428. coach asked me to do, I will do. I will

  429. not question. Even right now, I six months saiday, I

  430. think you know more. I will follow his program. I

  431. won't ask questions. He say five round, I'll do five round,

  432. he say six round, do six round? I want halfway,

  433. you know, And sometimes I think I'm shure this. Sometimes

  434. I see people in the gym five round after do

  435. three round. Now, then you start seeing them sit down,

  436. look at the stairs and contemplating their life. Why am

  437. I here? Why am I doing this? Why I agree

  438. past to Elvin, I'm regretting my choices now, you know

  439. every time I'm there, I just follow you. Why because

  440. he's a coach, he has six pacts. I got one pack.

  441. I want to be like that, So I follow exactly

  442. what you want me to do. La. Isn't that what

  443. discipleship is about, Amen? Discipleship is about imitation. Huh, copy?

  444. Don't copy, La. But first Quarantians eleven one says, imitate

  445. me just as I also imitate Christ. Imitate Paul, just

  446. as I also imitate Christ. This is another perspective I

  447. have based on this scripture. Again, I don't know whether

  448. any of you will agree. Again, I'm just pitching the

  449. word okay. So don't get me wrong. I'm not expecting okay.

  450. Next week or you start going to the gym, start

  451. wearing like this, No, no, please don't do that, start

  452. talking like me. Don't do that, that's not why imn

  453. okay imitate me as an imitate Christ. When I look

  454. at my pastor's life and when I look at my

  455. elder's life, okay, past the can of disciples, other Kenya,

  456. other Kenya disciples me. The constant question I always ask

  457. myself is am I following in their footsteps? And when

  458. I say that, I'm not saying exactly you know, because

  459. it won't be exact. I'm saying in the way and

  460. they make decision, the way they pray and trust God

  461. for miracles, the way things of course parsicon Their next

  462. level are he got no salary and he still do

  463. crazy stuff. But every time he shares a testimony, I

  464. claim it and say, Lord, if he can happen for him,

  465. I want that. But do you know how danger is

  466. it when you ask that question? Because God will lead

  467. you to similar challenges because God is more interested in

  468. the attitude and not the answer. And that is imitation.

  469. That is imitation, Amen. What else is discipleship? It is

  470. about God's word. You know, as I'm sharing this with you,

  471. I hope you will catch these points because this is

  472. how you determine whether or not the person that discipling

  473. you or the person that you're seeking mentorship from us

  474. is legit because if Jesus is not there, his submission

  475. is not there. If God's not there, you better be

  476. very careful because there are a lot of people out

  477. here that can be giving you a lot of advice

  478. as well. But these few things need to be important.

  479. It is about God's word why Joshua Waned says the

  480. Book of the Lord shall not depart from your mouth,

  481. but you shall meditate in it day and night, that

  482. you may observe to do according to all that is

  483. written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous,

  484. and then you will have good success, good success. Recently

  485. we were at AMD and every time I see the

  486. word prosperous, I keep thinking, oh, prosperous Manila Chinese or

  487. prosperity maybe because the whole God prosperity thing, right, But

  488. the word prosperous in the Hebrew word doesn't mean that. No,

  489. It kind of means that you will be made complete

  490. or something like that. So it doesn't just talk about money.

  491. It talks about your being. When the Lord prospers you,

  492. you can go and do it on study but passed

  493. Jeffrey shared during our AMD gave that revelation like, wow,

  494. that's quite powerful. I never saw that that way before,

  495. you know. So it is about God's word. Okay, okay,

  496. let's go deeper. You guys say, okay, I know I

  497. don't have the time, but I'll try my best. This

  498. ciper ship is spending time. Throughout the Gospels, we see

  499. this Mark fourteen twenty two. As they were eating, Jesus

  500. took bread blessed and broke it and gave it to

  501. them and said, take eat. This is my body. Look

  502. twenty four forty two for the tree says. So they

  503. gave him a piece of bread, sorry, a piece of

  504. broiled fish and some honey. Come, and he took it

  505. and ate it in your presence. Jesus was getting I

  506. heard a passa job before he said. Oh. I think

  507. Jesus Malaysian, because every time he's talking before he's eating one,

  508. I say, oh I go to your house and eat,

  509. I go here and eat. It's always true food. You know.

  510. I think extra styles is that every time you sipership

  511. is always true meal. One you all have coffee together

  512. and all right. That's why after that gross of fetla,

  513. it's spending time. Friends, Jesus spend time with disciples. You

  514. can't disciple someone. Oh there's a book, okay, let's just

  515. do that. No, you can't different ones here who you

  516. have gone through discipleship. You know that it takes time,

  517. but it'sched lavin to say Dan, you're my discipler because

  518. I cannot trust him because disciples might share everything? Is it? Friends?

  519. I will tell you? Can you please don't share everything?

  520. You know how freaky that would be. First, I mean

  521. the person here, it's my life story, you know I

  522. share you. Oh, my divance tart secrets. Freaky right, It's

  523. not like that, friends. It takes time, but it starts

  524. with a decision to say, I'm committed to this. You

  525. know I'm committed to this. I want to make this work.

  526. It takes time to disciple people. I have the priviledge

  527. of learning about discipleship because I was decipled. Elders spend

  528. time with me. You know how wonderful Elder spend time

  529. me every day. I see him in the office last

  530. time when we were saying just planner, I see Elder

  531. Kenya seven days a week, praise the Lord everything or

  532. so now And because every day is there, but it

  533. was good. It was good. We have to spend time friends,

  534. your discipleship, relationship. For those of you who are discipling others,

  535. you've got to spend time for those of you who

  536. are being discipled. You also got to spend time. Recently,

  537. I spoke to a young young young man and he said, oh,

  538. but then now very hard, Lah, very hard. Yeah, I said,

  539. why don't you take initiative if you want? You mean,

  540. you always have to wait for him to call you. Man.

  541. I thought, it's a two way thing. You want to

  542. be a relationship, you think initiative pla. Then he's like, okay,

  543. then you tried. It takes two, but he's spending time.

  544. Let me ask you a question. Jesus asked his disciples

  545. to follow him, you know, and they said yes, and

  546. they continued to follow him. He never asked them after

  547. that already. In fact, the question asks you also gonna

  548. leave me? Is it? You know what they say? Where

  549. are we going to go? You have the words of

  550. etern alive. So do you think Jesus is trying very

  551. hard to keep his disciples? Noah, there was seventy old

  552. people following him and all left him. He was not

  553. concerned with the seventy, but he picked the twelve. He

  554. chose the trial. So why in today's church context, right

  555. is the ballet? Is the leader have to work so hard,

  556. so hard to appease everyone. Shouldn't it be the other

  557. way around? I just challenged you with this thought. Right,

  558. shouldn't it be I want to be disciples? Read it

  559. and the other way? Oh? You want to disciple? Me? Disciple?

  560. Who is the king? He's spending time a man? Discipleship

  561. is intentional John four, five to thirty. I'm not gonna

  562. read it. It's basically about the Samaritan woman. Jesus was

  563. very intentional. We were in our homes. One of our

  564. homies say, oh Jesus, Actually, wherever Jesus going was not

  565. the Samaritan woman was. Even on the way. He went

  566. out of the way to talk to her. He was

  567. very intentional, you know. He he really saw Zacchias on

  568. the tree before Zachias call out to him, right, he

  569. saw the fisherman. Really, he was very intentional. Discipleship is intentional.

  570. Ha like that. Intentional means not organy, not natural, not

  571. real fake. Let me tell you another form of discipleship

  572. that's very intentional and very effective multi level marketing, very intentional,

  573. also very effective. Why there one not fake me, but

  574. then this one all fake fake fake f f friends.

  575. It is intentional and true. The intentionality you will experience

  576. bigger things. Let me go through. Don't worry. We're end

  577. in a good place. Okay. But I'm just showing you

  578. stuff that I had to learn and I had to

  579. go through. Do you know that? Discipleship is also not easy,

  580. even for Jesus. Are I share you Jesus, there, I

  581. show you my story? You guys okay? John six sixty says,

  582. many of the disciples say, disciples are this is very

  583. hard to understand. How can anyone accept it? Even Jesus

  584. ever said, huh, what are you talking? Jesus passev? Wh

  585. are you talking? Why so hot? Huh? Must wear suit

  586. on Sunday? I wear suit from Monday to Friday day

  587. Sunday might wear again? I passed away? And shouldn't the

  588. church accept me for who I am, where I am,

  589. and however I am? Why must I do this? It's

  590. very fun? I don't understand. Yes, it's hard, But is

  591. it about the dressing or is it by the attitude?

  592. It's hot. Discipship is hot. You know that discipleship is

  593. also messy and painful. It is John six sixty six.

  594. This probably where six SIXX come from. At this point,

  595. many of his disciples turned away and deserted him. Bye

  596. bye Jesus. So for those of you are discipening people,

  597. if someone feel hey, you're like Jesus. For those of

  598. you who one day want to be discipled and are

  599. going to disciple others, be ready for people to turn

  600. away from you. Let me share your story. I use

  601. to take care of the teens. When I started in Acts,

  602. I was very passionate about the youth ministry, and I

  603. was in teens Ministry and during the time, I took

  604. take care of a few of the teen guys. And

  605. I used to stay in I mean you no I

  606. saying Clang, I say in Klang. And one of my

  607. teen guys stay in Sharlam. So every time we got

  608. changed event, I will hatch you okay, drive from kind

  609. to Shalam, Shalam to Summit, okay, every time. So for

  610. four years I took care of this boy uh and

  611. this boy uh you know, sort of have a health condition,

  612. something to do with the hot one. Okay. I wasn't

  613. very clear on it. But again, leaders, you just you know,

  614. care care care, and all right, and thanks and and

  615. and and we were close. We were tight. You know,

  616. you know, how do we are tight? And stuff like that? Right?

  617. And I remember once after four years or showing, he

  618. came to a point where, uh, anyway, due to his

  619. hot conditions, sometimes this boy can fain right now, like

  620. there was once during price sins. No, then they were like, no,

  621. don'tbody know what to do? What to do? I talked

  622. to the holiday holidays do what to do? You're like,

  623. I just don't know and bring to the side. Then

  624. that's how I found out more. I had to talk

  625. to the band and stuff. Okay, anyway, long story, So

  626. it came to a point after four years or so,

  627. it came to a point where, you know, you know,

  628. after you are close enough to a person and then

  629. you feel like, you know what I think, Now it's

  630. time that you can receive the hard truth of life.

  631. Right close enough? Itma, you know where I'm coming from, right,

  632. so you need to ask you to maybe don't be

  633. solid and brush your teeth and dress up nicely. You know.

  634. It reached a point where I had to kind of

  635. do that because they want two things this person is doing.

  636. It was like, I think it can be better a lot.

  637. And I wasn't very hard now right, I don't know,

  638. or thought maybe I was. I don't know, and uh.

  639. And we had a difficult conversation in the car, difficult,

  640. you know, and I was trying to explain and and

  641. it just didn't get it. Okay, just didn't get it

  642. so much sore. Let me tell you how dramatic this is.

  643. A person get out of the car walker and then

  644. from from the car to because the person live in

  645. the bungalow. Okay, very nice house. From the car through

  646. the bungalow, it's like maybe fifty meters now halfway said there,

  647. halfway walking and I thought, okay, can I go back?

  648. I know, we talk about it again, right walking halfway

  649. in the middle of the pathway, have ping Sunday, you know.

  650. And night after I'm like, oh shucks. I came out

  651. of the car, I carried, I carried this boy, went

  652. to the house parents or shot now of course normal driller,

  653. and then put him on the car. That expl what happened.

  654. And I said, until okay, then they know maybe And

  655. then I lived and then I left right, and and

  656. of course the person is final. Okay, later find this

  657. condition to a stress land. Okay, maybe about maybe a

  658. few weeks or a month later. I want to change

  659. howdle leader. I want to change how the leader. I

  660. want to go to this hourdle leader. And then of

  661. course leaders we talked about were like why do that? Said?

  662. I think probably that and of course we're like, okay,

  663. a young go go on, you know right, So we

  664. met up me this new had leader there you want

  665. joined and then him sat down. We talked thought and

  666. you don't want to teach the young person one do

  667. things do properly. So then it came to the question

  668. why why do you want to change? Because Elvin, you

  669. did nothing for me, nothing for me these few years.

  670. I had to put on a straight face like I

  671. was eating the lemon yesterday because leader man, I have

  672. to just you know, take it a The other leader

  673. was also shot in right, huh what So in the

  674. end we're like, okay, if I didn't think, okay, are

  675. you goola? And then Ali took it on. Friends, Can

  676. I tell you I was very very disappointed and discourage.

  677. Uh and I'm like what four years carry you from drama.

  678. No like some Korean drama. No, carry you from the floor.

  679. You've got heart problem. Every time got the mam will

  680. be calling me. I'd die for four years and fetch

  681. you to summit. And you say that so ungrateful? God?

  682. Is it worth it to disciple young people like this?

  683. Is it worth it? When you have someone say that

  684. to your face? Is it worth it? You know when

  685. you have conversations like God, you know not God to

  686. speak to you. You know not God spoke to me Delvin.

  687. Remember Judas Judas was one of jesus disciples, And I'm like, win, hello,

  688. okay God. I was really seriously asking God, God, is

  689. it worth it? Is it worth it to continue yourself?

  690. But the moment I caught it, I'm like, okay, no,

  691. I cannot say anything. Thank you Lord for the experience.

  692. Now I know how you felt, Jesus, when you felt betrayed,

  693. when you betrayed by Judas, when you were down, you

  694. pot everything. You gave him the honored seat at the

  695. last Supper. You honored him when he was going to

  696. betray you. I will still do it again. I had

  697. to ask myself, would I still do the foy us again?

  698. Knowing that this can happen. God had other plans. So

  699. it is messy, it's payful, it's easy, it's not easy.

  700. It's not easy. Discipleship is about trust, Amen, John six

  701. sixty seven sixty nine. Then Jesus turned to the trail.

  702. After all left, He turned to the trail, he asked,

  703. are you also going to leave? Oh? Can I share

  704. another story? All my guys in my teen huddle left,

  705. all at the same time. All left. If I would

  706. have been discouraged, then I would never plannchish anymore. Day

  707. you try so hard and all left left CHURCHA. Not

  708. leave me here left CHURCHA. It was their choicer unfortunately right,

  709. And I'm still here. Simon Peter replied, Lord, to whom

  710. would we go? You have the words that gave eternal life.

  711. We believe, we believe, and we know you are the

  712. Holy One of God. And that was history. They stuck

  713. with Jesus to the end. Of course, they betrayed him,

  714. not betray lard, they deny him and stuff like that,

  715. but it was meant to be Allah. But they stuck

  716. with him. In fact, when they felt bad about, you know,

  717. not standing with Jesus in the trial, it further, Soliday

  718. fight a resolved because a lot of them when they die,

  719. Like Peter when he died, he said, I am so

  720. unworthy to die the way Jesus die turn me upside down.

  721. It's crazy, man crazy. It's about trust friends. Do we

  722. trust all disciple? I always have this perspective. My discipler

  723. is someone that got placed there and if he's not

  724. doing his job, God will remove him. I don't have

  725. to do anything. There will be an opportunity that the

  726. lot will make something. But if not, there's definitely something

  727. I can learn some there and grow and God will

  728. lead me. I'm going to get to the good part

  729. because I don't have time. Also, discipleship is my second

  730. last point rewarding. It is so I have the opportunity

  731. to disciple many many men, and I just want to

  732. give you a picture. I just give you a picture.

  733. Can can? Can I give you a picture? And I'm

  734. not saying that I'm not doing this sort of Oh

  735. you know, I'm very great. Please come to my head.

  736. Please don't do that. And okay, in fact, I'll say

  737. I wan't take your application. Okay, go to someone else.

  738. Have time. But because there are other leaders here as well,

  739. now church that have disciples, and a lot of some

  740. of us here we are also in a discipleship relationship.

  741. You know, you know I'm talking about. You know the benefits,

  742. you know that it works, you know that it's growing.

  743. But I want to encourage you to also start discipling others.

  744. You are if you are being the receiving end, because

  745. in the Bible it says freely as you receive, freely gave.

  746. You know, people ask me why I do it. It's

  747. very simple. I benefited from it and I've received it,

  748. so I freely gave because I received, I really gave.

  749. I received, I freely gave, and then a lot ass

  750. I received, I freely gave, and then a lot ass.

  751. I don't really think about I'm so sorry. Maybe it's foolishous.

  752. I don't really think about what about me? I mean

  753. sometimes got la? What about me? What my my needs?

  754. Go la? Got something's? Got thing la? You know when

  755. I compare with other people and then got to slap

  756. me and say, hey, you're pastor readly you stop talking

  757. about things like that, you know, like what busses share yesterday, past,

  758. I have to say the bustest thing on yes go

  759. or provide. Yeah, go provide, you know, and then you

  760. go to your prayer room and then you'll cry to yourself.

  761. But I just want to give you a picture on

  762. the Sciper ship, you know, and I think I have

  763. the well, I would say I have the I don't

  764. know what you say. The time spent to show you this, right,

  765. So I want to invite a few people up just

  766. to honor them as well to send with me here, okay, Daniel?

  767. And yeah, so Daniel, right, there are a few things

  768. I need to tell you about Daniel. Can I share?

  769. Can I be honest? I mean honest. I know I

  770. don't have time, med, but I'll try and in five minutes, okay,

  771. because these are things that you won't know one unless

  772. someone says. So, I thought i'd show you the picture

  773. and I explained to you. Okay, Daniel was a young

  774. campus student in Seggy that was so quiet, you know,

  775. you know what I found out recently? Someone asked me, Hey,

  776. I thought XPG a lot in extroverts. I'm like, what

  777. do you mean by that? I say, who cost got Daniel?

  778. In ya? I'm like, who else cost got Daniel? When? Yeah?

  779. And god Seline there, I'm like huh. Both of them

  780. represent the whole XPGA and I'm like, no, XPGA a

  781. lot introverts. So Daniel was a quiet campus student in

  782. Segi that I saw African? Can I be? Can I

  783. be even more honest to you? Right? Yeah? By the way,

  784. if you didn't realize, it's to Africa and uh, I

  785. used to have a prejudice against Africans. Okay again sorry

  786. Yah Malaysia now racisak Chinese somehow worse. He broke my prejudice, right.

  787. You know why because I'm the Chish plant coordinator, so

  788. I have to reach out to students. So we had

  789. students coming from Segi and when I realized, how come

  790. one of our African brothers not coming here? I better

  791. connect with him? And he lies on me, you know.

  792. So I remember he didn't come for a Sunday service,

  793. and I'm like, because I'm the CPC and this is

  794. my job, I just do it, even though I got prejudices.

  795. Don't know whether he come to major on legitims or not.

  796. Maybe he come here at the scam called place. Hey.

  797. Can I be honest? I'm honest? Okay, right, no, who knows?

  798. You know? Hey, By the way, just to let you know,

  799. Nigerians came to Manjor first and they kind of destroyed

  800. our perspective of Africans. Not all that like he froms

  801. him he's fine, so so perception perception, So I'm like, sure,

  802. not legit. And and I remember meeting up with him

  803. in an w right uh and uh and and and

  804. we had macan and then you know, and then we

  805. had a chat and then Soma Soma decipers shit ma

  806. and we had this chat about church and I remember

  807. encourage you and said, brother, just come anyway and if

  808. we need to leave early early, because he was saying,

  809. you know the y ones that come to the church,

  810. we'll go and eat expensive places. And then he cannot

  811. afford so he feel bad. So he had forty, so

  812. he feel bad. And then you know, how long we

  813. know Olier? How many years today? Ten years? Oh okay,

  814. non music, not music, I'm not done yet. Okay. Ten years?

  815. Ten years okay, well, ten years, I didn't my goodness,

  816. ten years. We've got a lot of stories together. He

  817. might not I mean it, but I always tell him, like,

  818. you broke my perspective of Africans because I used to

  819. think you guys are all scarre at this. But the

  820. cool thing is that now I have a son good cry.

  821. So so a lot of sewing, uh and I I this,

  822. but a lot of sewing and and everything.

  823. And and I'm so proud.

  824. Of him, okay because uh it's all the pain that

  825. he's possibly.

  826. Like taking like a father. So a lot of sewing

  827. and and everything. And I mean, if you guys know Daniel,

  828. he's an awesome guy. I'm so thankful he's in our church

  829. and he quite life, you know, because all his friends

  830. left by you here And I remember asking him, you know,

  831. he why you never go? It was so funny, right,

  832. He's like, I have no reason. If God has sent

  833. me here and this my church, why do I need

  834. to look for another place? And I'm like, this is

  835. really a son of the house, you know. And we've

  836. got a lot of ups and downs together, right, But

  837. he's a call leaden. I'm just so proud him. Another

  838. person want to call up doctor Jason, say say say

  839. doctor Jason. Come so doctor Jason. Easy to count because

  840. the first time we had XPA service, the first real service,

  841. the fifth service was the launch because three hundred people

  842. came and then the next week we had the real one,

  843. real one where you know, the real amount of people

  844. came and I remember this, you know, young man sitting

  845. in the corner here right, and I was carrying. And

  846. then of course we a prayer are during the worship,

  847. but we had no leaders man, so we went and

  848. pray for each other. And I went and pray for him.

  849. And again now because it's my job to be CPC,

  850. I go ahead reach out to new people. Are so

  851. I remember the first time we met where in h

  852. Quota Commanning. You were willing to drive all the way

  853. to Quota Commaning and we muck, no, no, I went

  854. to Satia. Lam right, we're canna remember that. Anyway, we

  855. went somewhere and met somewhere. Okay, yeah, I came to someway.

  856. First meeting sunway, the first one, yeah something premier. Oh wow,

  857. you remember? Okay, Oh my goodness, I don't remember. So

  858. first time PJ from then until now, and of course

  859. it started awkward and then talk and then just hang out.

  860. And then he's probably like, why is this guy calling

  861. me all the time? You know, right, and it's again

  862. spending time, spending time, And then later it came to

  863. a point where you know it was a discipleship relationship,

  864. you know. And then I don't know why I don't.

  865. It's not mere. I don't because I know I'm not

  866. so smart. I'm not so whyever, he's doctor. No, I'm

  867. no one. Okay, you know, but every time we talked

  868. and we finished talking, it's really the lot. He will

  869. always tell me, oh, really, whatever you say, and I'm like,

  870. I don't remember why I said just that. But I

  871. remember one thing. Every time I speak to him, I

  872. will pray on Lord, please give me aysto, please help me,

  873. because he's he's presenting this problem. I don't know answer it,

  874. and you've got to give me the wisdom. And Jason

  875. now is our worship coordinator, you know he I'm just

  876. using church again now, right. Of course he's an awesome

  877. home leader, he's an awesome husband. All these things was

  878. all okay, I'm just using chess reference. I don't want

  879. you to think the hypership only for church, no is

  880. for everything else, because you know these people, right you

  881. just stand here. Okay, I'll just show a picture okay,

  882. because they're not here. Arian Seabon and pass Stevens soon okay, right,

  883. this also this passes ancy Ban First, So Adrian was

  884. in my homes for a very long time. One thing

  885. I must tell you about Adrian, right, I sell him

  886. a little bit here is he's the most faithful, steady,

  887. you know, financially conscious guy you will ever meet. I

  888. tell you a joker. During pandemic, I asked all my guys,

  889. I say, hey, uh, I want to check out financially.

  890. They okay, and not because some people get cut, you know.

  891. And then I asked him, I said, he bro just wonderinger.

  892. You know, if let's say you don't work today, you

  893. lose your job today, because you always worry lose his job.

  894. One I said, how long can you survive? How many

  895. months can you survive? Because he's got savings, right, no

  896. thinking thing thing I think about one two years. He's

  897. not joking. Yeah, I'm like all the singer girls are like,

  898. look at him. Now, Okay, chill, cho cho chill, Chu chill, chill,

  899. please go ahead, but chill. Very faithful, very faithful, very willing, requiet,

  900. not upfront. People don't know. I'm not famous, not as

  901. handsome as keen, you know. But now Adrian has a gift.

  902. He can connect with the people that you cannot connect on.

  903. That's a wonderful thing about him. Right. Another person is

  904. pasted Steven. This one is more new or fresh, you know,

  905. because of the mainly because of the church plan and

  906. different things. And he's another person that's doing great things

  907. for the Lord. Uh. Another person called dimatic one, come

  908. up Tim Quan and I of course Tim is under Jason, right,

  909. But we are homies. So we used to be homies

  910. and we used to talk. And then I remember the

  911. time I asked him want to become leader? Like half

  912. forced him because he's quiet, ma, so he never says no.

  913. So no he said no, it's yes, lah okay, and

  914. then I, uh, and I remember where I said, you

  915. know what, Tim, I'm gonna get you to lead the homes,

  916. but I'm gonna lead first and then you assist, and

  917. then time I'm gonna hand out to you because I

  918. got no time, right, And then he didn't say no,

  919. So he's he's the current home leader of their homes. Okay.

  920. You might have heard this testimony before, but Timo Tikuana

  921. was a rebellious temper student last time. Okay, why because

  922. he constantly questioned Gola, why you sent me to ex church?

  923. This church is nonsense church. You know, I don't nderstand

  924. why I'm here a lord. Why now he understands because

  925. the law has led him to a future future potential wife.

  926. You know. Yeah, now he understands. You know. Last time

  927. he don't understand right. Uh. And and it was many

  928. many years of sewing talking right right, I'm not Jason right,

  929. but many years and then I also ask myself, this

  930. boy don't want to be here, God, why is he

  931. still here? Why is this? And then suddenly one day,

  932. I don't know what happened. Something changed, Okay, you want

  933. to ask, you ask him. Okay, I'm gonna go through details.

  934. But now he's leading our teens friends. The teens ministry

  935. suffered a lot in the past few years. But now

  936. he's leading our things. He's doing such an awesome job, right,

  937. and his holdmies are love him. Okay, I'm gonna call

  938. one more person because you know why the rest is here?

  939. You shunk, can you come up? You shang a sou

  940. And I don't hold me right? Last time he used

  941. to be the same homes and then le me tell

  942. you the condition of my homeslast time. Okay, I have

  943. homes me and Jess will lead the homescussion we planned HOMESMA,

  944. and then the time doctor Jason will be Nica. They

  945. all right, and then we planted homes to Usher and

  946. some of them. Right, Na. Let me tell you the

  947. first few months of our homes are during discussion now

  948. very quiet, being dropped silence. You know who is the

  949. noises person at homes? I was talking to myself or

  950. talking to the war, but still doing my job, Ma,

  951. my job, so I keep doing it right, And then

  952. now you see where they've come. Right. Yushan has been

  953. a great encouragement. And you know the one thing I

  954. must tell you about yushang uh he steady. Now he's

  955. reading the x Y or Ministry for PJ. Right. He

  956. recently did the book reading thing and he was awesome, right,

  957. awesome guy. Right. And you know, although I say this hapienship,

  958. but spending time, I think Jason did more spending time

  959. than me. I've only had two conversations with Ushan, but

  960. they were really good conversations. I don't want to remember

  961. or not I remember. He don't remember. He's like when

  962. you know, because I hardly met him. But we had

  963. two comminations, right, and it was very deep, thoughtful commodations,

  964. and I went thankful for Sunday's guys. These guys are

  965. my disciples. I'm confident to say that these guys are

  966. my disciples. Right, And if you see these guys, there

  967. are also people building the church. What you don't see

  968. is the time spans so many months Jason tried to

  969. convince team. Yes, yes, oh sorry, yes, yes, many years.

  970. So if you feel like extra not, just go talk

  971. to the team. Many years of conversation, many years of conversation,

  972. many years of conversation here right, let me tell you testimony. Uh,

  973. when our previous worship coordinator wanted to move on, and

  974. I was praying for worship cordator, and I was like, Hula,

  975. who who is going to help build a worship team

  976. in such a state, you know, And I don't know why.

  977. I'm like maybe Jason. But I know Jason. Now, if

  978. you ask him, he will never say yes one. He

  979. will ask ten thousand times, and then he's so busy.

  980. Really then he just got married. Only you know, he

  981. would definitely want his own time. No, he's not a

  982. bad personal, He's just he's just very detailing. And I'm like,

  983. how our Lord, how lot and I remember, okay, I

  984. just try that. And I met up with him and

  985. I say, hey, you know, I'm thinking of someone, and

  986. he straight with me. They're like, how you know? He said,

  987. I kind of expect you to ask me, and I'll

  988. do it. I'm like, I got a shot. Yeah, I

  989. got a shocked and he's done such an awesome job.

  990. It's almost like I hands off, right, a little bit

  991. hands off, and and I must I might share a

  992. bit of the bad stuff was at Jason you okay,

  993. right during pandemic. It was tough for him. It was tough.

  994. It was very hard. I call him every week and

  995. pray for him every week and ask myself, I spent

  996. so many years did this guy's seeing you do this

  997. car thing? Not bad by my job? My job? I

  998. believe in thisciper shit every way. I encourage him every way.

  999. I say, Hey, God will be there if you. Hey,

1000. don't give up. Hey, continue to be faithful, Hey, continue

1001. to keep what you need to do, continue to be

1002. fitful in the things that got ask you to do,

1003. continue to be a good example in your company. Don't

1004. give up, don't give up. God has a call for

1005. you every week. And then thinking myself. Don't know he

1006. will come to church or not. Don't know he'll go

1007. to homes or not. Don't know he will survive leadership

1008. or not. And now he's worship cordinator. I'm sharing all

1009. these things because I want you to see a picture

1010. of diciper ship. We see the you know what we say,

1011. Jason said, just now what you see outside it's not real.

1012. You only see the fruit. It is rewarding, but you

1013. don't see the Christ, the tears. You don't see the

1014. long conversations. That's all the hyper ship. This is why

1015. I believe in the scipership. This is why I believe

1016. that all of us who are disciples grow and they

1017. are discipling others. They are because they've seen the value

1018. of discipleship and they want to do it. Is it immediate? No?

1019. It took Daniel so long to disciple people because he's

1020. such a friendly guy. Everybody seem his friend. But now

1021. he got doctor Jason Chid that he score all the time.

1022. You know, Jo Jo, Joe Jo, you know, is it

1023. gonna be immediate? No? But my final point, and thanks guys,

1024. thanks so much, thanks so much. My final point is this,

1025. and because I know it over timelyday, going back to

1026. the scripture Matthew twenty eight, nineteen to twenty. Friends, discipleship

1027. is necessary. If we don't disciple people in the church,

1028. the church will not stand. If we don't challenge people

1029. in the church, the church will not stand. Do you

1030. know that? Do you know that if we do whatever

1031. we want and there's no submission, and there's no routing,

1032. and there's no structure, and there's no you know, uh, trusting,

1033. do you know that, we are not going to survive

1034. because we will be the moment now got some happening.

1035. Things happen now, everybody will go there. It is only

1036. true discipleship during the hardest times in our church? Are

1037. you know who are the ones that were standing firm

1038. the leaders because we believe? Do you know that for

1039. those of you who here and are not leaders, and

1040. maybe do you know that you, whether you like it

1041. or not, you were looking at your leaders and how

1042. they respond. You're looking at them. Hey, if you go,

  1043. I go because I like him. But if you're a disciple,

1044. you know, I'm gonna believe, I'm gonna stay, I'm gonna

1045. rute myself. I'm gonna say this is it I'm not

1046. gonna sway left and right. You know I've be in

1047. wondering Lord, why have I not grown? I will ask

1048. you this question, have you been discipled? Are you a disciple?

1049. Is he easy? You know it's not, but it takes

1050. the first step of decision to say, Okay, I want

1051. to be discipled. I want to at least come to

1052. this place where I will trust someone to speak into

1053. my life, not due to the person's wisdom and understanding

1054. and maturity, but due to the fact that this person

1055. submits to God and God will use him or her.

1056. That is the picture you need to have. You know,

1057. if you choose a discipler based on their talents and

1058. their experience and their seniority on EA, do you know

1059. that it's very shortsighted because men will fail you. But

1060. if you find someone that the Lord has placed in

1061. your life, it will be a powerful relationship. I'm sure

1062. some of them are never expected me to be discipled them,

1063. But now we've grown. See it's a growing You know,

1064. you've grown to the place of trust. You've grown to

1065. the place of ar Okay, I learned enough about you,

1066. then whatever you say, I'll follow. I learned enough about

1067. what how the Lord uses you and a them mistakes?

1068. Yes they are. Do I say the wrong thing something? Yes?

  1069. I do A few times a day. I had a

1070. bag and for for it Daniel and I had to

1071. call him up and say, Bro, I'm sorry, you're right,

1072. maybe you don't go this way we need to admit.

1073. Does that destroy a religion? The closer you are, the

1074. stronger you are. I know I didn't call some guys

1075. here because sorry, you're not enough space, A lot of space,

1076. not enough time to talk about all of our stories, right,

1077. But I know some of you here have your own story.

1078. Some of you here have I don't know. Maybe you

1079. don't even formalize the relationship. Maybe it's just home leader

1080. that you talk to, you meet up that cares for you.

1081. Maybe there's someone that looks up to you that you're like,

1082. I don't know why, but this person keep asking me

1083. for advice. Yeah, then disciple the person to Christ discipleship.

1084. I hope today's message gives us a healthy perception of discipleship,

1085. healthy because that is what Jesus ask us to do.

1086. So I don't like to use the womantor because Jesus

1087. used the well disciple you know, when you study about

1088. discipleship in the way of those days, it is about following,

1089. being an apprentice of the person that you are following.

1090. Decide It says, follow me, follow me? Are you willing

1091. to follow? Follow me? Amen?

1092. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

1093. information on our church, please visit as church org. We

1094. are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that

1095. this week is going to be a good week ahead

  1096. for you. God bless
