  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day today.

  3. As I was praying, I don't know, God impressed on

  4. mom my heart to share you this thing. And if

  5. you're writing notes, and I want to encourage you, guys,

  6. please write notes because you forget one if you ask

  7. you or what do you page?

  8. Last week? Some words forgot ready?

  9. Our memory, we were shot, our attention spent even shorttern

  10. now thirty seconds and after that cannot focus. Ready, you know,

  11. write down notes, remember, put down things. The beginning of wisdom,

  12. the beginning of wisdom, Problems nine to ten is the

  13. key verse. And I'm going to read from verse ten

  14. to verse chelf I, guys, okay. Problems nine ten says

  15. the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,

  16. and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For

  17. by me, your days will be multiplied and years of

  18. life will be added to you. How many of you

  19. want to live long? Some feel like I don't want

  20. to live long?

  21. Right? You want to live long? This is what the

  22. Bible says. Right.

  23. For by wisdom, your days will be multiplied and years

  24. of life will be added to you.

  25. If you are wise, you are wise for yourself. Huh,

  26. what do you mean by that? God? And if you scoff,

  27. you buried alone.

  28. It basically just means, right, do you know who will

  29. benefit out of your wisdom?

  30. Yourself? No one else?

  31. By yourself, meaning if you are wise, you are benefit

  32. because you are wise. And if you scoff, scoff means

  33. like you don't care lot, then you were buried alone,

  34. meaning that if you're unwise, no one else will suffered

  35. out of your own foolishness yourself. And if you're wise,

  36. the same goals. When you are wise, you are bare

  37. the benefits of wisdom. That's what the Bible says. No,

  38. why I say? Okay, So what does the Bible teachers.

  39. The Bible teach us to look for wisdom, You gotta

  40. look for it, okay, Right, to search for wisdom, like

  41. we're searching for hidden treasure. How you have a last time?

  42. Got we got played? Like treasure hunting quite exciting, right,

  43. tree hunting?

  44. Right?

  45. And then when you find the trade. Sometimes it's the

  46. trill of searching for the treasure. It's a trill of it, right, Hell,

  47. not everybody here like treasure hunting. I can see some

  48. of you're bored of that oki my mind. So Problems

  49. two four or five says, if you seek her at

  50. silver and search for her as hidden treasure, for hidden treasures,

  51. then you will understand the fear of the Lord and

  52. find knowledge of God. So the Bible teaches us to

  53. search for wism. So we got to search for wisdom.

  54. Guys. It won't come easy. It doesn't just come like that. Right.

  55. The Lord is the one who gives us wisdom. How

  56. do you say that?

  57. Let's read Proverbs chapter two, verse sixty seven. You guys

  58. should got your Bible with you. I think it is

  59. by no chance right that today our laptop cannot show

  60. scripture because I think God wants you to know that

  61. you have to bring your own bible to church.

  62. Sorry for being direct, I'm very direct.

  63. I think we've taken for granted the word of God.

  64. It's become too convenient for us. When they told me,

  65. just sounds so funny you want to put scripture or not?

  66. I said you can, but we cannot put. Then you

  67. ask me for what you're asking me something I say,

  68. need to and then no, I'm just joking, okay?

  69. Is that wisdom?

  70. Problems chatter two, What does first sixty seven says, for

  71. the Lord gives wisdom from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Wow,

  72. do you believe in that or not? The Lord himself

  73. gives wisdom. Amen, he starts up sound wisdom for the upright.

  74. He's a shield to those who walk up rightly. So

  75. what does it mean? God is a shield of to

  76. those for those who walk up rightly.

  77. That's the saying, good guys die first? Right?

  78. Is the Is there such a saying? No, don't have

  79. I thought it was the saying like that. Actually I

  80. would say, good guys die last, finished last? Right, good

  81. guys finished last?

  82. Is it?

  83. That's the saying, oh, you know, but all the wicked

  84. people are getting richer and rich and richer. Oh but

  85. all the people that are playing politics and doing all

  86. nonsense is succeeding.

  87. Are they really succeeding? Are they really?

  88. Are they? The Bible says God is a shield for

  89. those who walk up rightly? Are you saying that the

  90. Bible is not true when you claim such things?

  91. Okay?

  92. Asking questions? Now, he guards the path of justice. I

  93. remember hearing this phrase, or I can't remember which one.

  94. Someone I was watching on YouTube okay, And a person

  95. said he have come to learn and realize that you

  96. can never get away with evil.

  97. Huh, what do you mean by that? Now?

  98. Meaning if you commit evil in this world right even now,

  99. you cannot run away.

  100. One you will be found out one. You'll be caught one.

  101. And if you study history, and you study the most

  102. atrocious thing man has ever done, it doesn't last long one. No. Yeah,

  103. maybe they succeeded in killing a lot of people, but

  104. it only lasts a few years. One whose judgment and

  105. righteousness you think is controlling that, Because if it's true evil,

  106. and if they can get away with it, you have

  107. lasted way longer than what we know. But God never

  108. allows it to last. That also means in our own lives,

  109. caution for all of us here. If you're doing nonsense,

  110. you'll be found out. Sooner or later, you'll be found out.

  111. One.

  112. We cannot run away from God. People who are wicked

  113. cannot run away from God. Yes, God causes rain to

  114. shine on both. He you know he causes it because

  115. we always have this thought, if the person's better now,

  116. only bad things happen to to the person.

  117. That's why we have.

  118. This understand something we have this understanding not so mature,

  119. and I'll tell you it's not true. Oh, if something

  120. bad happens to me means I've seen guys. How close

  121. minded are we? Let's not think that way. But God

  122. gives us wisdom.

  123. Amen.

  124. And the Bible teaches us to look for wisdom. And

  125. what else does God do? He preserves the way of

  126. his sayings. This is the safety that we have with God.

  127. When we are with him and we are walking up rightly,

  128. he takes care of us. Eventually. Even first day you suffer,

  129. eventually God will take care of you. So you don't

  130. have to worry. You don't have to worry. God is

  131. the one that will take care of you. Yes, someone

  132. might frame you, but eventually it will be found out. Yes,

  133. you might lose everything, but eventually. So you don't dabble

  134. into things that you shouldn't devel into. Because if you

  135. are wronged and you fight wrong with wrong thinking that

  136. God will help you after that. Hello, But if you

  137. are wronged and you continue to remain righteous, he will

  138. take care of you. That's the promise of the Bible.

  139. Are you catching that or not? Are you catching that?

  140. And what does the Bible say? Sorry, what does the Bible,

  141. say right continuously. Then you will understand the fear of

  142. the Lord and find the knowledge of God. We will

  143. understand righteousness and justice and value every good path Proverbs

  144. two ten fifteen.

  145. Let's read that.

  146. Okay, when wisdom enters your heart and knowledge is pleasant

  147. to your soul, discretion will preserve you.

  148. I'm gonna stop here.

  149. Do you know that it is very important for us

  150. to learn how to be to have discretion? You know

  151. what discress means, not discernment correct well, not correct? H I

  152. don't I used to work correct or wrong? Go some

  153. nice that makes it very you know, legalistic.

  154. You know.

  155. Decernment is not about correct or wrong. Discernment about whether

  156. or not you should or should not do something. You

  157. discern you know you consider not Everything that seems correct

  158. will put you in a place of success, will put

  159. you in a place where you will, you know, have

  160. abundant life. Some things we decide on thinking that it's

  161. a good idea, later we regret or later we suffer.

  162. Our discernment is off. You'll catch that. You'll catch that.

  163. So wisdom helps us with that.

  164. When wisdom enters our heart and knowledge is pleasant to

  165. our soul, discretion will preserve you, and understanding will keep you.

  166. To deliver you from the way of evil, from the

  167. man who speaks perverse things right, from those who leave

  168. the paths of uprightness to work in the ways of darkness,

  169. who rejoice in doing evil and delight in the perversity

  170. of the wicked, whose ways are crooked.

  171. And who are devious in their paths. To deliver you

  172. from the immoral woman.

  173. Okay, now it continues to go to some other place ready,

  174. So which path are we taking today? Do you know

  175. that every path you take riches somewhere? It does? And

  176. the Bible is very clear. Some paths lead to destruction.

  177. Maybe during the start of the path of everything very nice,

  178. right can buy house by car look awesome, but eventually

  179. it will lead to destruction. But some paths lead to

  180. and abundant life. Maybe the beginning is very difficult, things

  181. are very hard, but eventually you will come to a

  182. place of peace.

  183. Does that make sense not?

  184. Sometimes we evaluate things based on what we see and

  185. what we think is nice, But there's always something behind

  186. the curtain. Unless you know, you won't really know. So

  187. we got to think about it. What path am I

  188. taking today? Is it the path towards righteousness, or if

  189. it is the path towards destruction, that's you know, God,

  190. it's very clear. No, it's either righteousness or destruction. There's

  191. no righteousness or on. Righteousness means the moment you're not

  192. righteous means you're going on the wrong halfday, you're getting

  193. yourself in trouble. Don't get yourself in trouble.

  194. Oh okay? Are you guys? Okay? And it says here

  195. discretion will preserve us.

  196. Understanding will keep us means when you don't understand something,

  197. it's very dangerous. If you don't understand something, it's very

  198. very dangerous.

  199. You know.

  200. When you understand something, it's not so hard, you know.

  201. And a lot of times we come to a place

  202. where we trust we don't understanding. That's very dangerous. Please understand,

  203. Please don't yeh, stop to the expert. But you also

  204. need to learn, you know, you also need to go

  205. and find out, are.

  206. You guys okay? Okay?

  207. So I establish ready number one, wisdom is important, right corent?

  208. Okay? How many of you hear things? Wisdom is not important?

  209. No wisdom Okay, I think I've made my point law

  210. and I've established also that the Bible teaches us to

  211. look for wisdom, follow us word. The second thing is

  212. who gives us wisdom, God, God gives us wisdom right.

  213. Right.

  214. That tells me that wisdom is very hard for me

  215. to turn out on my own. It has to come

  216. from somewhere, right, because if not, then I will constantly

  217. be trying and testing and failing and hopefully not making

  218. the same mistake again. But if wisdom comes from the Lord,

  219. means that I can come to a place where I

  220. can have wisdom and not make mistakes in a way

  221. when the same mistakes for myself, no, not for anyone

  222. else here, not make or decide on something that will

  223. put me in trouble. When I receive wisdom from the Lord. Okay,

  224. and when we have wisdom in our heart, we will

  225. understand meaning I will know what is righteousness, I will

  226. know what is justice. I don't know right from wrong right,

  227. And I will value a good path. I will know

  228. that this is a good path. Wisdom teaches me that,

  229. and I continue in this path. And the more I

  230. continue this pathway, I will reach a place about in life.

  231. But if I continue in this other pathway.

  232. I will lead to destruction, stress, anxiety, worry, trouble.

  233. You know all these things. Okay, So what is wisdom? Sorry?

  234. What is wisdom? I had this revelation that day. I yeah,

  235. and those that ask for help wait in a while,

  236. I'll call you up.

  237. Okay.

  238. I just want to give you a picture on what

  239. wisdom is. Okay, because some of us we think that

  240. intelligence is wisdom.

  241. Is intelligence wisdom? No? Okay? Because you get someone that's

  242. super smartner but not wise? Not right? Is information wisdom? Oh?

  243. This person knows everything, but you know, but you don't

  244. know how to apply cora. Not.

  245. So it's not with them knowing everything, is not with

  246. them being very smart?

  247. Social wisdom? Right? What is wisdom?

  248. No, it's not about being knowledgeable or being smart. It's

  249. about making the right decision. That's wisdom, corent not okay,

  250. It's about discerning what is right at what time?

  251. Correct. That's wisdom.

  252. Okay, that's wisdom, and the wisdom that God gives us

  253. keeps us safe from destruction. Parents, you know this very well.

  254. Parents who have young kids or kids are young. Ready,

  255. you've been through before, ready, right, life, you've gone through

  256. trouble ready, right right. Some of us have made mistakes

  257. as well, right, and we want to make sure our

  258. kids don't make the same mistake, or our kids will

  259. be in a better standing.

  260. So we give them wisdom. Whether you receive it or not,

  261. there's another thing, but we give them wisdom.

  262. If you wake up late for school all the ti time,

  263. you're gonna get expelled. If you get expelled, you cannot study.

  264. If you cannot study, then what do you do next time?

  265. When you work?

  266. Right, If you go out in the rain and don't

  267. wear a shirt and only wear your swimming trunks and

  268. run around for two hours, you're gonna fall sake? Is

  269. that wisdom? Wisdom? Corona? Okay, Okay, let me go deeper. Okay,

  270. let's read Proverbs chapter two, verse thirteen to twenty two.

  271. What do you say?

  272. Okay for those who Okay, I read some ready, I'm

  273. just gonna continue. Who forsakes the companion of a youth

  274. and forgets the covenant of a god for her house

  275. leads down to death and her paths to the dad.

  276. None who go to her return, nor do they regain

  277. the paths of like Okay, design is talking about let's see,

  278. Oh wow, I lost the scripture? Okay, yeah, to deliver

  279. you from the immoral woman. Okay, he's talking about your

  280. moroman So you may walk in the way of goodness

  281. and keep to the paths ah, let's read that, Okay,

  282. whose ways are crooked and who are devious in their paths?

  283. To deliver you from the immoral woman.

  284. From the structress who flatters with her words, who forsakes

  285. the companion of her youth, and forgets the covenant of

  286. a god. For her house leads down to death, and

  287. her paths to the dead. None who go to their return,

  288. nor do they regain the paths of life.

  289. So you may walk in.

  290. The way of goodness and keep to the paths of righteousness.

  291. For the upright will dwell in the land, and the

  292. blameless will remain in it, but the wicked will be

  293. cut off from the earth, and the unfaithful will be

  294. uprooted from it. So wisdom that God gives us keeps

  295. us safe.

  296. Okay.

  297. So just to give you an example of wisdom, and

  298. want to ask Jamie and Selene to come out and

  299. just to show you this little thing about wisdom. If

  300. you still like, don't have any clarity you need yet,

  301. just to explain, just say, sometimes when you talk about wisdom.

  302. It can be a bit tricky to understand what is wisdom,

  303. not why it's not wisdom. But just oftime, you're just

  304. gonna do this little illustration you guys. Okay, can I

  305. this guy?

  306. Okay?

  307. Yeah, okay, So just to do that thing, Selene and

  308. Jamie colleagues Okay, uh you actually you can replace this

  309. scenario with a lot of things, either colleagues or schoolmates

  310. or whatever. And Selene is gonna ask you me to Yeah,

  311. you'll see that. You'll see what happened. Okay.

  312. The monthly report, right is coming up? So when can

  313. you give it to me tomorrow? Can?

  314. Okay, hold on before you answer so fast. So anyway,

  315. just to let you know she's asking for something monthly

  316. pot and I just give you a bit of insightler

  317. because you all don't know.

  318. Right.

  319. So Jamie actually can complete the monthly report in two days.

  320. If let's say nothing goes wrong, she just focuses on it.

  321. In two days, you can finish it. She needs two

  322. working days. Okay, this is about for you hours, two

  323. working days for everything to be delivered.

  324. And that's what she can. But then what did she

  325. answer tomorrow?

  326. Okay, so tomorrow means, is it two days? No?

  327. You can count? Right? Hey? Can I get some response?

  328. He or not? Two? Is it two days? Tomorrow? Todays? No? Right?

  329. Today and tomorrow? My goodness.

  330. Wow, they're becoming illegally saying, you know, okay, tomorrow and tomorrow, okay, tomorrow,

  331. twenty four hours.

  332. Let's count ours again.

  333. Let's say she needs for eight hours, but she said

  334. one day, which is twenty four hours. So I ask

  335. you a simple question. Is that wise or foolish? It's

  336. not wise? Right, she needs more time. Why do you

  337. promise one day when you know you.

  338. Can finish it in two days? Okay? So when can

  339. you give it to me? I think a month? La? Okay? Good? Right?

  340. One man? Is that good?

  341. Yo? Saying yeah, yeah, yeah, one man is good. Some

  342. are like no, no, why why is he not good?

  343. One man?

  344. Ma, it's a monthly report. It's too late, really right?

  345. What if it's not a monthly report? Why is a

  346. yearly report? It's one man, okay, it's I'm not sure.

  347. Some are like, yeah, yeah, I actually need a month

  348. because I need one way to sleep, one way to dream,

  349. one way to do research, another way to rest.

  350. The only I can do the work in two days.

  351. It's not wise?

  352. Right?

  353. Why is he not wise? Why does she need a

  354. man when she can complete it in two days?

  355. Is that wisdom? Think about what's wise and what's not wise?

  356. So what's the answer. When can you give it to me, Jimmy?

  357. Two days like todays? Two days? Okay? Okay, let me

  358. ask you a question now, is that wise? Is that wise? Okay?

  359. Now we've got very some say why. Some say not wise?

  360. Not wise? Not wise?

  361. Huh? Buffer buffer? Okay? I want to I want to

  362. ask those give you here then? Okay, you're just here here? Okay?

  363. Yeah, yeah, so wingman, she can finish in two days,

  364. but she said todays, which you got record?

  365. Why you say it's not wise? Just give one day buffer?

  366. Just in case?

  367. Just give one day buffer? Just why do we need buffer?

  368. Everything is perfect.

  369. Because you don't know if you'll be perfect. You don't

  370. know it'd be perfect until you do it. Okay, don't

  371. stay shake here one agree or not agree? Agree? Okay?

  372. So one day buffer? Okay, one day buffer? Okay, So

  373. let's continue this scenario.

  374. So when can you give it to VDB? Let me

  375. check out realistically? I think one week, one week Okay, okay,

  376. let me ask you a question. Is that wise? Yes?

  377. But wingman say one day buffer? Sorry? Thanks? So I

  378. give them hand, give them a hand, give them a hand.

  379. Okay, So one week five working days for those of

  380. you legalistic people, because we can.

  381. Oh, no, no, five working days? So is that? Why?

  382. Is or not?

  383. Her promise is why? It's why she got some buffet time.

  384. Why because Murphy's law, if anything can go wrong, it

  385. will go wrong. Those of us will be working very long.

  386. We understand this very well. Ah right, Sorr? Yeah, Andre.

  387. Under promise of reliever? Yes, yes, no, but da she

  388. under promised one man?

  389. What why then? Why not? Correct? Not realistic?

  390. You're a very good lah can can set smile goals?

  391. Friends? You understand what is wisdom? Correct or not? Now?

  392. Can I ask you a question? Can you apply that

  393. in every area of your life? Easy to say?

  394. How to? Do you know? But I love the guy

  395. so much and he's not a Christian.

  396. I I work Monday to Friday. Really want to come

  397. early for Sunday?

  398. For what a boss? Are? Sorry? Sorry? Boss? Might you know?

  399. I on on the germ is getting worse and worse.

  400. That's why I late. That's why getting later and later,

  401. sleep earlier, very hard. I'm not a night I'm not

  402. a night person.

  403. The ballet.

  404. You guys know why his wisdom? You know how to promise, under, promise,

  405. over deliver. Right, isn't it wise? It's quite right when

  406. you compabiting it Was it wrong for her to promise

  407. one man? No, it was not wrong, but it was

  408. not wise. Actually, was it even wrong for her to

  409. promise two days? It's correct. No, it was not wrong,

  410. but it was not wise. Is he about wrong and right?

  411. Do you know that Bible is very clear about what's

  412. wrong and right, very clear, very clear about what's wrong

  413. and right. Anything that is within the ten commaments are

  414. wrong right? No need to argue.

  415. But why?

  416. Everything else is up to interpretation. No, it's not friends.

  417. Everything else is whether or not you are foolish or wise.

  418. Your cashare not hey. I want you to succeed. No,

  419. I want you to not have so much problem in

  420. your life. No, I want you to live long and all.

  421. I want you to be a blessing to the people

  422. around you. I want you to be stress free, be wise,

  423. make the right choice, be the man.

  424. Right now, you don't get a joke. It's long time gone.

  425. Ready if you read Problems, Actually, Problems is a very

  426. good to read to understand God's wisdom.

  427. Right, you know, Solomon, when.

  428. God say, tell me what you want, I will give

  429. you anything and everything whatever you want, Solomon, smart, God

  430. give me wisdom and then everything flow after that. Why

  431. Because when someone is wise, and when they make wise decisions,

  432. and when they make the right decisions, they are setting

  433. themselves up for success. You see all these lines we

  434. catch easy to say, how to do right, easy to say,

  435. how to do?

  436. Why?

  437. Because our hearts are deceiving, because we fall prey to

  438. our emotions. Because we we we don't suffer. We just

  439. want it now. And now it's even worse. No, now

  440. it's even worse. Everything is so fast. Parents, you know

  441. you're dealing with your kids. You understand that you're dealing

  442. with tantrums that you've never dealt before.

  443. Last time? Huh you are now.

  444. Betters, take the slipper and heat no, then you'll be quiet.

  445. Ready. Problems is a good book to read on God's wisdom.

  446. I encourage of you to read it, okay, because if

  447. you look at the first two chapters, it just establishes

  448. why what wisdom is important, right, And where do you

  449. get it from? You have to get it from somewhere.

  450. It just can't come out from anywhere, you know. And

  451. of course we say this God created. You haven't said

  452. the earth. Don't you think he has the blueprint to life?

  453. Yes? Why we now follow.

  454. A lot of things are very obvious, it's glaring in

  455. our face, but we don't realize. And then we get

  456. stuck in the world of information, and we get over

  457. fed with information, and then we start believing all kinds

  458. of things that does not bring wisdom to the situation.

  459. And then we wonder why we're in trouble, and then

  460. we wonder why, oh why are this happened?

  461. That happened?

  462. Oh, it's because this person's walk, that person's walk, everybody's

  463. person's walk. It's because of our nation, it's because of.

  464. Our life, it's because of my parents.

  465. Everyone else will not by your own. And then the

  466. Bible clearly says when you are wise, you benefit, and

  467. when you're foolish you benefit. Take responsibility of your life.

  468. Take responsibility of your life. This is something that I've

  469. been talking to the people around me as well to say, hey,

  470. you know, the one thing clearly that I understand recently

  471. is the taking of responsibility. I use myself as an example.

  472. Before my stent, was I wise in my health?

  473. No? Totally not ignorant? More like it? No, God, because

  474. I self him right, super ignorant.

  475. Now different story, I'm thinking, because I have to take

  476. responsibility of my own health, something that God has already

  477. given me. If I don't take responsibility that, how can

  478. I be seen as a righteous man? Because I don't

  479. take responsibility on what that has been entrusted to me.

  480. If I don't take responsibility on my own family that

  481. has been entrusted to me, Can I just blame my

  482. kids for being naughty?

  483. No?

  484. I have to take responsibility because I'm the father of

  485. the house. I set the rules. Isn't that right? And

  486. if they don't follow the rules because I'm over straight

  487. and don't love them enough or don't sign them enough,

  488. whose fault?

  489. Is it my fault?

  490. They're under my care and my wives or foolish Bible

  491. says don't provote your kids, and I love to message them.

  492. Really, I'm not following what the Bible is saying. I'm

  493. not being wise.

  494. You know that if I continue to provote my kids,

  495. they're not going to listen to me. But do you

  496. know that if I love my kids no matter what,

  497. even if it's difficult, they will listen because they know

  498. they're dead live, So do I set the rule on law?

  499. Who's responsibility? My responsibility because they're my kids. Later on,

  500. when they grow up and they live their life, who's

  501. response their responsibility? At their adult say they're not gonna

  502. listen to me anymorelready? Can they blame their daddy?

  503. Oh yeah, aah?

  504. My father never teach me. Why you never learned why

  505. new grow? You know, there are a lot of things

  506. in my life that can blame. You know, I'm not

  507. rich enough, like guys, I'm not rich enough. Nobody taught

  508. me to be eloquent. You know a lot of things

  509. we can blame. You know, it's very easy and convenient

  510. do that. But he said, wise, that's the question I

  511. gave you. Problems tree is the instructions that the father

  512. is living to his son, instructions or wisdom, sharing the

  513. consequences of good things and bad if we follow or

  514. don't follow wisdom. You can read Problebstree and of course

  515. it establishes it with Problebstree vers five. Trust the Lord

  516. with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

  517. Why does it tell you that because we don't know enough,

  518. none of us here will know enough. None of us

  519. here will ever understand. That's why we need discernment. Not

  520. just trusting our own experience, but discernment in the spirit

  521. is important. Right and in all your ways, acknowledge Him

  522. and He shares direct It is a promise. Not do

  523. you know that if you acknowledge God in everything that

  524. you do, he will take care of you. He will

  525. make sure you're in the right way. That's why when

  526. you pray for something and you say, Lord, please give

  527. me this, and you don't get it. Now, do you

  528. know that God is directing your path. Don't be so

  529. quick to say, oh, say, don't get me behind me

  530. because you never give me that thing that I wanted.

  531. Your Father in Heaven knows what is good for you.

  532. If you didn't get what you wanted, then it's not

  533. good for you. That's something you got to consider. We

  534. only want the here now, but God is thinking about future.

  535. Our kids only want the here now, but the parents

  536. are always thinking about their future. What kind of son

  537. am I going to raise up if I keep giving

  538. into it all that he wants.

  539. Right, what more offer in heaven?

  540. Imen another point, there is security in wisdom, there is right,

  541. and we will have long life if we are wise.

  542. However, if we are foolish, and please.

  543. Take note on this, we can cut short our own lives.

  544. Can I almost cut short my own life? And we

  545. should learn to live and be wise, making wise decisions

  546. in life for our health, our family, and our life.

  547. The Bible cautions us to constantly to not walk in

  548. the path of the wicked Proverbs Chapter four of US

  549. fourteen to seventeen. Let's read that Proverbs four fourteen to

  550. seventeen says, do not enter the path of the wicked,

  551. and do not walk in the way of evil. Avoid it,

  552. and do not travel on it. Turn away from it

  553. and pass on. For they do not sleep unless they

  554. have done evil, and their sleep is taken away unless

  555. they make some and fall, For they eat the bread

  556. of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. But the

  557. path of the just is like the shining sun that

  558. shines ever brighter on through the perfect day. The way

  559. of the wicked is like darkness. They do not know

  560. what makes them stumble. My son, give attention to my words.

  561. Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them

  562. depart from your eyes, and keep them in the midst

  563. of your heart, for they are alive to those who.

  564. Find them, and health to all their flesh.

  565. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it

  566. springs the issues of life. You know what that means,

  567. not friends, All your stress and anxiety, right comes from

  568. the heart. That's why you have to guard your heart.

  569. That's why you have to know who is the king

  570. of your heart. Because if you allow your heart to

  571. be taken by anyone else, if your heart you allow

  572. your heart to be released to the world, you will

  573. be disappointed and the issues of life will engulf you.

  574. Your heart is very important, but your heart is so

  575. very deceiving.

  576. That's how they say. Lean not on your own understanding,

  577. or I feel I need to be careful. Right, be

  578. are careful.

  579. Put away from your deceitful mouth, and put perverse s

  580. lips far from you. Let your eyes look straight ahead,

  581. and your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path

  582. of your feet, and let all your ways be established.

  583. Do not turn to the right or to the left.

  584. Remove your foot from evil problem six warns us of

  585. many things we can take note in our daily lives.

  586. You read proverb six many temptations and many pitfalls. I'm

  587. just gonna randomly read one. Okay, let's see P. Six.

  588. People do not despise a thief if he steals to

  589. satisfy himself when he's starving. Yet when he's found, he

  590. must restore seven four. He may have to give up

  591. all the substance of his house. Whoever commits a doubtery

  592. with a woman like understanding, He who does so destroys

  593. his own soul, wow wounds and dishonor he will get

  594. and his reproach will not be wiped away, For jealousy

  595. is a husband's theory. Therefore he will not spare in

  596. the day of vengeance. He will accept no recompense, nor

  597. will he appease. Though you give many gifts a lot

  598. of warnings here verse six. Wisdom keeps us secure because

  599. if we follow wisdom, we won't get in trouble. But

  600. when we follow foolishness, then you get in trouble. Let

  601. me use a very simple example. When you drive on

  602. the road, use hands free.

  603. Is wise.

  604. Why because if you use your phone beyond just the

  605. police coming to catch you, and then you have to

  606. go through uh, you know, the court. You might bang

  607. someone and the person might die. Then we see who

  608. is wise?

  609. You know? That's the thing about people know things don't

  610. go back.

  611. Now, we are okay one, but do you know that

  612. if you never and are always careful in your car,

  613. you will never even come to a place where you

  614. will accidentally hit someone. The accident won't even happen because

  615. you are just not doing it.

  616. Do you know that? If you.

  617. Do, you know that one of the something I learned, Okay,

  618. one of the ways to not be late now is

  619. to be earlyer. And one of the ways to be

  620. early and not be affected by jam is to be

  621. even earlier. Do you know that to not be late,

  622. you just need to be very early. But a lot

  623. of us here are living on time. We're just on time.

  624. We're just on time. Is that what you're happy with?

  625. On time?

  626. Or you prefer to be early? Food for thought? The

  627. fear of the Lord is to hate evil Proverbs eight

  628. thirty two thirty six says oh, let me read problems

  629. eight thirteen.

  630. Are you guys okay? I hope you guys are catching something?

  631. Proverbs eight thirteen says the fear of the Lord is

  632. to hate evil. Okay, pride and arrogance and the evil

  633. way and the perverse mouth I hate. Let me talk

  634. a little bit about the perverse mouth. The Bible says

  635. only gossip can destroy friendship. Only gossip can destroy friendship.

  636. Yet gossip is sweet to our lips things that are

  637. not nice. Sometimes even complains. Is it wrong to complain?

  638. Where I don't think it's wrong to complain now?

  639. Right?

  640. But I think you know something you will say, Oh,

  641. constructive criticism. You know, when you give the constructive criticism

  642. not to the person they're supposed to hear it, it's

  643. called gossip. And if you gossip enough and it sounds

  644. good and you like the latest one, do you know

  645. that it is a path to destruction, not just to yourself,

  646. but to destroy other things. Do you know that good

  647. friends that have been friends for many years can be

  648. no longer friends just because someone says something that they

  649. shouldn't say?

  650. Friends?

  651. Can I caution you on this, be very careful about

  652. your speak, because the Lord sees.

  653. No, not me. I don't know, Okay, I'm ignorant.

  654. Some people can ask me, oh, you know, are affected

  655. by saty say, actually, nobody will talk to me about

  656. bad stuff because they know I'll say so they they're

  657. not also right, so I highly hear bad things that okay,

  658. I only see good things, thank God. But if constantly

  659. you're hearing bad things around you, and constantly you're hearing

  660. what people are saying, whether it's your and I'm not

  661. talking about church, I'm talking about your company, your family,

  662. you constantly want to talk Sila.

  663. The day Daniela I saw him.

  664. You know, you know what he shouldn't know because he

  665. fat ready Hanserlin and he now go exercise ask him. Come, Jimy,

  666. come friends, be very careful, perverse talk, watch yourself, watch

  667. what you say right be you are careful. I'm sparing

  668. you a lot of headache. You are careful, Okay, problems

  669. eight three twenty six says Now, therefore, listen to me,

  670. my children. For blessed are those who keep my waist

  671. here instruction and be wise. Again, it's not me, it's

  672. what the Bible says, what God says, and do not

  673. disdain it. Blessed is the man who listens to me,

  674. watching daily at my gates, waiting at the polls of

  675. my doors. For whoever finds me finds life and obtains

  676. favor from the Lord. But he who sins against me

  677. wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death.

  678. And the Bible says, the fear of the Lord is

  679. the beginning of wisdom. Okay, let me establish. Let me

  680. try my best to establish this understanding about the fear

  681. of the Lord. The fear of the Lord is the

  682. beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One

  683. is understanding.

  684. For by me or.

  685. Days we multiplied, and years of life will be added

  686. to you. If you are wise, you are wise for yourself.

  687. And if you scoff, you are buried alone. I think

  688. the best way to understand the fear of the Lord

  689. and wisdom is to understand the fear of children to

  690. their parents. Makes sense not because not parents, you know right,

  691. Not everything you can explain to your kids one. Neither

  692. do you have the luxury of time to tell your

  693. kids you know what if this happened, this happened, that happened,

  694. that happened. These you can't just say don't do it,

  695. you say stop, You just say hey, when you earn money,

  696. spend less than you may Why I.

  697. Got credit card, or I just use nimah. Hello, Hello.

  698. When you earn money, spend less than you make. Don't

  699. get in debt. But that's such a normal thing. Why

  700. do I spend that?

  701. No? No, I can use a few years down the.

  702. Road when you're not making enough money and you're deep

  703. in debt and you keep trying to find your way

  704. out of debt, and then you get deeper in debt.

  705. Shouldn't you have in the beginning spend less than you make.

  706. The thing about foolishness sometimes it's not very obvious one

  707. you only discover later.

  708. Right.

  709. So when kids fear their parents, and they will just

  710. following what their parents say. The parents are saving them

  711. from a lord. Heytache, the parents are saving them from

  712. lave with them. And a lot of times, right, you

  713. see other people or you see things that only realize.

  714. Thank god, I followed that instruction. Thank god I did

  715. that right. This is the same thing about the fearing

  716. of God. When we fear God, we follow his commandments.

  717. And when we follow his commandments, we set ourselves up

  718. for success. But when we don't fear God, we won't

  719. follow his commandments. Listen for what you're not scheduled kids

  720. they are not afraid of their parents, will listen to

  721. their parents.

  722. Will you know that?

  723. Right? They won't? For what, I'm not afraid? Who are

  724. you the boss of me? I can do whatever I want.

  725. I can sleep whatever I want, I can do whatever

  726. I want. I can study whenever I want. I just

  727. do whatever I want. Not realizing that the parents are

  728. paying their bills right, paying their rant, right, saving money

  729. for your future. Not not realizing that no, no, it's your.

  730. Job word do whatever I want to.

  731. But they don't realize that right, and then it becomes

  732. a right. So the side when the Bible says the

  733. fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. He's

  734. trying to teach us. Know, when we learn to fear authority,

  735. and we learn to fear God, we will set ourselves

  736. up a subf sass because it's not just about a

  737. year now. It is always about the future. It's not

  738. just about yeah, you can comedy. It's not just about

  739. today you need you know, Yes, today might not feel good,

  740. but it's always about tomorrow, you know. It's always about

  741. setting ourselves up to experience the abandant life of God.

  742. We have to follow it. Now.

  743. Yes, it's boring. Yes, it's difficult. Yes it's not as exciting,

  744. but it's important.

  745. A lot of us here who are adults.

  746. How many of you here have come to a place

  747. right where you wish you have listened to your parents

  748. when you were younger on one or two things. I'm

  749. sure some of you have. You know what I have

  750. wished I would have done last time, long time ago.

  751. I wish I would have learned how to save money better.

  752. I wish I would have learned certain things.

  753. You know.

  754. One of the things I wish i've done that my

  755. mom kind of let me decide on my own. And

  756. I decided on my own. And I'm like, Mama, I

  757. didn't force me was to swim. Until today, I don't

  758. how swim? You know, not too late, my wife say

  759. to that, Yeah, not too late.

  760. I'm already I'm lazy. So imagine my wife suggested you

  761. go and learn.

  762. With your kids are one forty through your old uncle

  763. there trying to swim with all the young boys. How

  764. humiliating is that? Malula? Sorry, you're okay, fine, it's okay,

  765. it's just me my ego. Okay, No, but if I

  766. if I've learned it when I was younger, much better.

  767. You know, this thing about the fear of the Lord

  768. is so important in our lives. When we fear the Lord,

  769. we will walk in the past of unrightness. And the

  770. more we want in the past of art right nours,

  771. we will make white susicians. And the more we make

  772. white susicians, we will have abandoned life.

  773. But do you know what messages with that? Our emotions, our.

  774. Hearts, our sight decided. Bible says, look straight, look straight,

  775. don't look.

  776. To the left. You know what's at the left or

  777. the right? Other people? No, no, look don't look there.

  778. Looks straight, looks straight, looks straight, looks straight, you know,

  779. don't look left, don't look right, look straight. But but

  780. but the person's doing this, the person's doing so well

  781. that the person invests in this thing, you know, and

  782. getting so much. You know, I should do it. I

  783. should do it, and then do ready three months later

  784. lost everything? Yeah, I regret, be too late. La, looks straight,

  785. look straight, look at the lot, look at Christ, look

  786. at the word. Let the word of God guide you.

  787. We got cheat hip. You know this is the cheat ship,

  788. But we don't use it. I think we need to

  789. learn to use it.

  790. Don't you.

  791. I think we need to learn to be wise. You know,

  792. you realize that a lot of things right. I remember

  793. when I was when I was seventeen, quite young, and

  794. I was reading Problems and I was reading Solomon.

  795. I ask God, I said, God, And my life wasn't

  796. that great then?

  797. And I always asked questions like why why do I

  798. Why am I living in such a life? Why am

  799. I living in a situation where my family is always

  800. shouting at home all the time?

  801. This is my normal life? Now? Why do I? Why

  802. do I see other people?

  803. Or now see RB see other people and they're having

  804. such a wonderful family time and going to Disneyland.

  805. Now and I'm stuck here? Why what's the difference? God?

  806. Can you give me wisdom that I will make the

  807. right decisions? Can you give me wisdom like King Solomon?

  808. If you can give him, you can give me. Give

  809. me wisdom. Give me wisdom to make the right choices.

  810. Give me wisdom to not put myself in trouble. Give

  811. me wisdom, Lord, because I.

  812. Want to be able to walk upright. I don't want

  813. to just listen to anybody.

  814. I just want to follow your wisdom.

  815. That was so long ago. I think I'm pretty okay. Now,

  816. I think I'm pretty okay. Why am I sharing this

  817. to you?

  818. You can ask off for wisdom too. If you think

  819. I'm wise enough, I don't know. I don't think i

  820. am that. If you think for those who have interested me,

  821. I will let you know. The only reasons because I

  822. prayed for it. The only reason is because it's couseworth.

  823. This is where you get wisdom, right. Yeah, it may

  824. not be the most happening thing or the most updated thing,

  825. but I think it's wisdom that a family unit is

  826. between a man and woman. I think it's wisdom that

  827. you need both parents to parent a child. God intended

  828. it in a certain way, you know, and we should

  829. never change that. You know why the words so messed

  830. up now, it's because men want to do his own thing.

  831. That's why it's messed up. Now.

  832. You try so hard to make things a certain way.

  833. But time and time again, the wisdom of the Bible

  834. helps set us up for success and abundant life. That's

  835. not for sake, amen, If you didn't remember anything, just

  836. remember this. The fear of the Lord is the beginning

  837. of wisdom. Fearing God first helps us. So friends, Proverbs ten,
