  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Let's turn with me to Mark chapter six. Okay, Mark

  4. chapter six, Turn to me to verse thirty, and then

  5. all the way to verse forty two. Okay, Um, let's

  6. read through it. I'm gonna read through from verse thirty. Okay,

  7. I'm reading here from NKJV Mark chapter six, Verse thirty.

  8. Then the apostles gathered to Jesus and told him all

  9. things about what they had done and what they had thought. Okay.

  10. This is after Jesus had send them two by two

  11. to go into all the villagers, to cast out demons,

  12. to heal people, and to annoy the sick. Okay. And

  13. he said to them in verse thirty one, come aside

  14. by yourself to a deserted place and rest for a while.

  15. For there were many coming and going, and they did

  16. not even have time to eat. So they departed to

  17. a deserted place in the boat by themselves. But the

  18. multitude saw them departing, and many knew him and ran

  19. there on foot. From all the cities. They arrived before

  20. them and came together to him and Jesus when he

  21. came out saw a great multitude, and was moved with

  22. compassion for them because they were like sheep, having no

  23. without having a shepherd. They underlining that part. Okay. Jesus

  24. was moved with compassion for them because they were like

  25. sheep not having a shepherd. So he began to teach

  26. them many things, not just wanting to teached them many

  27. many things. When the day was now fast span, his

  28. disciples came to him and said, this is a deserted place,

  29. and already the hours lay. Send them away, that they

  30. may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy

  31. themselves bread. But they had nothing to eat. But he

  32. answered and said to them, you give them something to eat. Okay,

  33. underline that that's very important. You give them something to eat.

  34. And they said to him, shall we go and buy

  35. two hundred dinari worth of bread and give them something

  36. to eat? Two hundred thenari is about one year's which okay.

  37. But he said to them, how many loaves do you have?

  38. Go and see, and when they had found out, they

  39. said five and two fish. When he commanded them to

  40. make them all sit in groups on the in groups

  41. on the grass, so they sat down in ranks. Okay,

  42. and underlined this part in hundreds and fifties. And when

  43. he had taken the five loaves and the two fish,

  44. he looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves

  45. and gave to his disciples to set before them. And

  46. the two fish he divided among them all. So they

  47. all ate and were filled, and they took up the

  48. twelve baskets of full fragments and of the fish. Now,

  49. those who had eaten the loads were about five thousand men. Okay.

  50. I prepare some slices, but I'm going to ask the

  51. XTV to help me jump so that we don't review

  52. certain things, okay, okay. So I'm going to focus on

  53. the miracle on the feeding first, okay. So what can

  54. we learn from quickly from the feeding of the of

  55. the five thousand. First of all, it's not five thousand men, okay,

  56. it's men. But at that time, people don't count women

  57. and children. So if you add women and you ad children,

  58. you're talking about easily twelve to fifteen thousand people. Okay,

  59. to fifteen thousand people. There's a lot of people to

  60. be fed there, okay. And he says that before Jesus

  61. fed them, he was moved with compassion because they were

  62. following him everywhere he come out of the boat, follow him.

  63. They were coming up from different cities, you know, okay,

  64. and they were walking. Okay. It's like I'm telling you,

  65. right if Jesus was here right now, people from Suba,

  66. people from Klana Jaya, people from Damasara Heights from kr

  67. are walking to see. How many of you are planning

  68. to walk here? To see someone walker walk a hey,

  69. And it's not like oh you just look back near

  70. back of Mama put one to know you are water

  71. and you're hoping just to see. You don't know how

  72. you're going to settle your foot. You walk fifteen thousand people,

  73. I don't know how how long you walk in birds

  74. or any other cannibals. Okay, people will walk from cities

  75. to go and see. Okay, really okay, it's it's really

  76. quite amazing things. Okay. So when he's when they came

  77. and he was moving compassion because people from everywhere are

  78. so desperate. Again, the keyword is desperate. So he taught

  79. them many things and it came a very interesting scene okay,

  80. because the disciples said that wow, okay, send them away

  81. because it's late there's no food, you know, and you're

  82. sending somewhere to find food. It is out of good

  83. intent and also logical, but it is also not a

  84. real solution because they come away so far where they're

  85. going to find food. You get me right, Technically it

  86. is a solution for themselves. So that okay, we are

  87. cutting off you know, it's not my responsibility anymore. You

  88. come to see me now, it just mess you, so

  89. no longer my problem. But it is a solution, but

  90. not solution. You get what I'm saying. Yeah, okay, it

  91. is a solution, but not really a solution. Solution for you,

  92. but not solution for them. And then Jesus said something,

  93. you fit them, You go and fit them. Okay, And

  94. so I think I've appreciate this before. I'm gonna share

  95. with you again. So how did the miracle happen? We saw?

  96. First of all, there's a due diligions that needs to happen.

  97. You need to comb through what you have in your house. Okay,

  98. always God wants to perform a miracle. What is the

  99. first thing you need to do. You need to do

  100. your due religions. You need to comb through what you have.

  101. Five loaves and two fish their men together, and then

  102. four past it. There are four key steps to this miracle. First,

  103. the bread and the loaves say the loaves and the

  104. fish were chosen. Okay, they were chosen. And the second

  105. thing is says that that Jesus looked up to their

  106. heaven and gave thanks, blessed it. Now, let me ask

  107. you this question. When did the miracle happen when it

  108. was chosen or when it was blessed or when it

  109. was broken? When did the miracle happen when Gay thanks

  110. all the foods for him? Ready? Everybody? Oh, everybody got

  111. maffling already, everybody got know what is it? When God

  112. know that? But cheese were g ready? Whoa? Everybody got happy.

  113. You'll be happy. You are happy. You're happy. Everybody be happy.

  114. You know. Did it happen that way? No, it was chosen,

  115. it was blessed. And then Jesus broke the bread. Okay,

  116. broke the bread. Okay. It was from the breaking of

  117. the bread that the miracle happens. And actually it's very symbolic.

  118. It's talking about Jesus. This is symbolizing about Jesus. The

  119. Jesus' greatest ministry is not the teaching. It's not the healing.

  120. Jesus' greatest miracle and gift for us is his broken body.

  121. You know what I'm saying. You know, with healing he

  122. can touch one person. But with his broken body that

  123. died on the cross, everyone can believe on to it.

  124. You get what I'm saying. You know that is a

  125. true miracle. It is a foreshadowing, It is a prophetic.

  126. Uh what you call it? Miracle? Okay? To tell everyone

  127. and to tell us right now what this actually means.

  128. It is out the brokenness. Okay. You can be chosen,

  129. you can be blessed, but if you are not broken,

  130. miracle does not flue. And the same thing with us

  131. as Christians as well. A lot of times say we

  132. are chosen one. God has chosen me. Thank you, God,

  133. You've given me your mercy and your love. Thank you

  134. so much. You know I accept it. You know I

  135. feel blessed. You know I get prayed for. You know

  136. I receive the world and worship. Oh, I feel so blessed. God.

  137. You've given me a job, given me this and then. Yes,

  138. but I tell you can experience in all this, but

  139. no miracles unless you are broken. This is truth people,

  140. unless you are broken. You see you look at look

  141. at our world and look at history. The greatest achievements

  142. or the greatest breakthrough the world have ever experienced, is

  143. when men and women are broken. Look at Mother Teresa,

  144. look at Abraham Linker, look at the people who have

  145. to break through the most difficult social societal problems. It's

  146. what when they gave up their lives to be broken.

  147. You see what I'm saying, it's really broken. And if

  148. you are a lot of people tend to ask me

  149. that I don't know. What's my passion? You know? What

  150. should I do? Should I do coffee? Should I do

  151. be a TikTok influencer? Should be a full time gamer?

  152. You know? So what's a purpose in my life? A

  153. lot of times you won't discover it. You cannot discover

  154. it through another person. Another person's role is not for you.

  155. You get men right, of course, you said, yes, I

  156. must pray, but a strong indication what you are, what

  157. God wants you to do, A strong indication. Okay, God

  158. tends to lead you to the places where you are

  159. most broken. So if you want to say, like, why

  160. is it that you want? And God Lord look into

  161. your life. What has broken your heart before? Not talking

  162. about the girlfriend or the boyfriend. What has broken your

  163. heart before? You see when Jesus saw them, what was?

  164. What did he feel? He was move with compassion because

  165. he saw something. They were like sheep without shepherd. He

  166. was moving compassion. Confession means are to be in the

  167. same shoe, to feel as you feel, to be as

  168. lost as you are lost, to be as hungry as

  169. you are hungry. You get what I'm saying. You know,

  170. Jesus understood that the reason why Jesus broke body was

  171. broken for us because he knows that we are broken.

  172. You get what I'm saying. You know we are broken,

  173. and out of that brokenness he came forth and broke

  174. and allowed him to be broken so that America can

  175. flow through as well. So, if you are asking what

  176. is your purpose in life? Is it to just earn money,

  177. to retire? Is it to do or the next trip?

  178. A lot? A strong hint is to look through your life.

  179. When was the last time you your heart has been so

  180. broken by something? I remember mine, you know, I remember

  181. there was one time helping a family to feed them,

  182. doing a committee work. I remember one time, you know,

  183. I was working and then this guy who were reaching

  184. out to he called me because he could you pick

  185. me up from the uh Un hospital because the wife

  186. has diabetes and no one to help. They had never

  187. seen doctor, so he went there. So I went there

  188. and myself. So I picked him up and then the

  189. wife was real shame into the back of my car.

  190. Then as I drove him, he was very thankful. He

  191. and nothing to give to me. Then I started asking

  192. how his family with foll up before with him before

  193. then I realized that his house is no food, he's

  194. been how the children has been drinking Chinese his tea

  195. for milk, okay Chinese tea for milk, no rice and everything.

  196. And I was like so broken heart because they had

  197. no money to buy to buy what they call the

  198. treatment for the wife as well. So it's very very heartbreaking.

  199. By that moment, I was just so heart broken for them.

  200. And I took him and I I went to the

  201. liquor spit man. I say, you take buy whatever that

  202. you need right now. I don't care about how much.

  203. Then I wasn't earning a lot as well. I was

  204. just a startup not start up, but I said quite

  205. new into my work buy whatever you want, okay, by

  206. whatever I bought rise And then he was so afraid

  207. to buy things and I was like, no, he didn't

  208. want to take right He took the small rice. I said, no,

  209. you take these big rice. You buy you buy this

  210. and buy that, buy milk for children, buy by exs

  211. and stuff like that. So I put it in. He

  212. was like so short, and I put in and like

  213. then I broke him with a car. Thence we came down.

  214. He cried and I know, I said, I don't know

  215. what to do. I only know how to do this

  216. right now. And he thanks me and stuff like that.

  217. And then when I car, I tear and I cry,

  218. and I remember God clearly listening to me. Matt. This

  219. is what being broken means. You know what I'm saying.

  220. We realize that it's not about you, And that's said

  221. what I'm saying. You are truly broken when you realize

  222. that it's not about you. You know what I'm saying,

  223. It's not about you. It's not about my purpose, what

  224. I'm supposed to do, what I will be. It's very

  225. hard to find purpose in life when it's all about you. No, no, no.

  226. A lot of times it is it's not about you.

  227. When you realize that your life is made to make

  228. a difference in other people's life, whether you feel good

  229. or not, you disappear, but they rise up. Very likely

  230. that's why God is calling you to in camera. It's

  231. not about what you're most talented with, the most inclined

  232. war suspended. No, no, no, no, it's more most of

  233. the time, it's really not about you, not about you

  234. at all. Okay, So that is the miracle. Okay. And yet,

  235. and we see that Jesus was getting them to sit

  236. in fifties and hundreds. Why did he see them in

  237. fifties and hundreds more organized? You see Jesus ask them

  238. initially in a miracle, you feed them. And he kept

  239. to his promise. Even though Jesus wasn't doing the miracle,

  240. he got them to so he got them to provide.

  241. So imagine you guys are the first fifty group and

  242. say maybe you should you come up here for one

  243. volunteer you for one. So then you understand what I'm saying. Say,

  244. for example, you are Peter, and I'm Jesus. Okay, and

  245. I broke ready, and I broke and I gave you

  246. the first basket and then you go down. Okay, you

  247. go down and you're gonna feed this. And you guys

  248. have to imagine that you haven't eaten anything. You are feeding.

  249. You are hungry, and you are seeing you should doing

  250. very quickly. Wait so quicker, slow down, slow down, slow down.

  251. You're not giving handouts. Okay, store down, slow down, sow

  252. so down. You must play a bit of realism here, okay, okay.

  253. This is the first group of people who are the

  254. family and the children. Okay, they are eating first. You

  255. guys are hungry. Okay. Now at the back there I

  256. need some volunteers. Now you are hungry, okay, and you

  257. are seeing this guy with one basket and there are

  258. twelve to fifteen thousand people. Give me some reaction. Soon

  259. shot you out, showya give me some reaction, all right,

  260. now on my right, give me some reaction as well.

  261. You got children that are really hungry, Give me some reaction.

  262. Come on, I don't think you'd be saying that you'll

  263. be more desperate. Man, I think you've been sending your

  264. children to go and get food. Lady, Okay, you understand

  265. now how chaotic it is, right, it's chaotic. Sometimes you

  266. have to be really I'm trying to get you guys

  267. to play. It's difficult. You should can't back, come back,

  268. listen to them. Thank you so much. You're doing such

  269. a good job. Thank you so man. Okay, Now imagine you, well,

  270. there's one basket, hold on, hold on no yeah, no yeah,

  271. hold no no no done okay. So imagine that one basket,

  272. by God's grace, can feed one role. Okay, okay, And

  273. the rest of you you're like, is that it right?

  274. Is that it only for the VIP hungry? And now

  275. how would you feel? You should? You hope you have

  276. more bread? Right? But what is what is going to

  277. your mind? Because those these people are angry with you

  278. and they say I'll be going to get fed, and

  279. what a You're going to say? Try my best? Okay?

  280. So is it out of the possibility that he's like,

  281. I hope Jesus has more? Isn't it? Isn't it? You

  282. see the way that he organized. Jesus is not asking

  283. them to line. Now, he says, sit down, you fit them.

  284. Your basket is empty. So what is your only option?

  285. It's two come back to Jesus again. You come back

  286. to me again, and then you walk and this time

  287. you walk your you're not walking like normal, you know

  288. you're walking, you're few and trembling. You know. It's like

  289. I hope if I have because if you're going back

  290. with an empty basket, you might not come back. And again,

  291. you know you there, I might have you for a million,

  292. you know what I mean. I said, you cannot go

  293. back empty handed. Okay, give me and you pray and

  294. hope that Jesus is more. And they said, Jesus, do

  295. you have more? Okay? And then I said, sure, give

  296. you more. And then you walk down again. You go

  297. to the second row again, and then the people are

  298. still complaining, isn't it. Come on, give me some reaction. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.

  299. Now now third time, so you're done redfeating. Second row

  300. still go a lot of people. So what are you

  301. thinking again? Come to me again? Come back again, come

  302. back again. I'm getting you a workout. Right. Sorry, I

  303. know you didn't ask for this, but now let me

  304. ask you this right now, this is very important. Has

  305. something changed in you in regards of how you start

  306. to look at me, look at Jesus right now? You

  307. are my provider? Ah, you see, I mean he believes

  308. right now because the first time he adopted, and he

  309. starts like when I come back, my basket is full

  310. again and I go down. You see, the hungry people

  311. have not changed. The situation has not changed. The people

  312. them somehow hungry. But yet when he's empty, he started

  313. to realize I can go back to Jesus and more

  314. and more. By the tenth round, when you go, the

  315. people the still same. Angry people are like Brian, they

  316. oh and Lucas are like scandalizing and threatening. You are

  317. Are you still as afraid now at the tenth time?

  318. Why because you keep coming back. You're familiar and you

  319. trust the source. You see, the feeding on the miracle

  320. is not so much about just feeding the people. The

  321. miracle is working were in him, that's the miracle. Sometimes

  322. it's not just about feeding them, you know, it's transforming

  323. the disciple. True discipleshit thank you so much, you know

  324. saying what I'm saying. Uh, Jesus Christ, snap out of

  325. hand now. Everybody felt ready happy me already. But they

  326. will be easy, isn't it. But it's not. It's not

  327. about getting the disciples to do it again and again

  328. and again and again. So you see what miracle. You

  329. see what testimony God, It's going to get you to

  330. do it again and again and every time. The lesson

  331. is that every time I need I go back to Jesus.

  332. I go back. And when as I do it, I

  333. start to realize more and more things happening and I believe.

  334. So Jesus wants them not just to feed the deciple,

  335. the the five thousand people. He wanted the disciples to

  336. have a transformation, have a growth, have to believe and

  337. to trust in Jesus more as well. But but would

  338. they transformed were they actually believing? Okay, now this is

  339. where just now what's the micro where are zoomed in?

  340. I'm going to take you guys out right now. So

  341. as I slowly conclude what is we see the miracle.

  342. And then a lot of times when we read the Bible,

  343. we take one story, one miracle, this miracle, this story,

  344. and then we look at them as separate. But I

  345. want to see take you to see the bigger picture.

  346. You know, when we talk about just not the feeding

  347. is missions, no missions. We are supposed to go out Okay,

  348. be scattered, we being being broken. So there are others

  349. for other ethnics can hear as well, but take out

  350. and then zoom out with me if your bibles and

  351. look at the mark chapter six again. Okay, mark chapter six,

  352. and I want you to look at the whole entire

  353. chapter briefly and some of the titles. Okay, I'm gonna

  354. take you now. Now you must understand that a lot

  355. of times when the chapters that are compound, it is

  356. not coincidence. These stories are stitched together, not by coincidence

  357. it all. Most of the time they tell you a story,

  358. they tell you a pattern and something that Jesus is

  359. trying to address. So sometimes if you just single out America,

  360. you miss the whole story, or you miss what happens

  361. after that. If you look at March chapter six, you

  362. see for the first part that Jesus was rejected and Nazareth.

  363. Then you see from verse seven that is the sending

  364. out the twelve. Okay, there's a slight thing, okay, sending

  365. out the twelve and then the third one. So suddenly

  366. it talks about John the Baptist being beheaded. And if

  367. you read the other four Gospels, almost similar patterns. Some

  368. parts they may miss, they take out one or two,

  369. but the pattern is similar. Okay, they they will include

  370. most of the time they're sending out the twelve. They

  371. will include John the Baptist beheaded, and they will include

  372. the five thousand. The five thousand, the miracle five thousand

  373. is included in every gospel. It was rare one included

  374. in every gospel. They included. And then the last one,

  375. Jesus walking on water. How do they even connect? That's

  376. the harpis in it. How do they even connect? And

  377. that's the difference when next time when you read the Bible.

  378. There's a difference between reading the Bible, studying the Bible,

  379. and understanding the Bible. You get me right about People

  380. will just read and understand the scripture, but sometimes you

  381. labor a bit another hour you ask a deeper question.

  382. Are these all connected? And if these are all connected,

  383. what Jesus try to speak and teach us all the disciples? Okay,

  384. that's examine a brief bit, a bit, a bit more. Okay,

  385. I'll do this very quickly. So the first one Jesus

  386. rejected and Nazareth. O you get turned up the slight. Okay,

  387. Jesus had rejected Nazareth. It says that Jesus was there

  388. on Sabbath at the synagogue in his hometown, teaching, and

  389. he was full of wisdom and full of works as well.

  390. But then it became a stumbling block to his own people,

  391. to the people who knew him, knew his brothers, his sisters,

  392. his mothers at his mother's his mother, okay, and they

  393. started to doubt him. They started to what do you

  394. call it, uh, start to become what do they call it?

  395. They were so amazed by the wisdom and the works

  396. that came out with him. And it says he that

  397. if you can tell me much of the sixth and

  398. might as well just read it. And verse two Gay

  399. Marx Chapter six, Verse two he says, when and when

  400. the sabath had come, he began to teach in the synagogue,

  401. and many hearing him were astonished, saying, where did these

  402. men get these things? So it's a man, okay, They

  403. look given me as a stranger. But then from a stranger,

  404. it says that, and what wisdom is this? That he

  405. is given to him, that such mighty works are performed

  406. by his hand. Then they begin to understand that it

  407. is is it not? The carpenter starts with a carpenter

  408. carpenters are not really look that greatly one, okay, the

  409. son of Mary or not just a carpenter. Someone we

  410. might know in the village. And the brother of James, Joseph, Judas,

  411. and Simon. We know their siblings, means we might have

  412. hang out with him before and are not his sisters

  413. with us. Some of them could be married among them

  414. as well, it could be my in law. So what happens?

  415. Then they were greatly offended by him? Do you know why? Okay?

  416. Why were they suddenly offended by him? Because when someone

  417. performs such great miracle, someone has such influence, someone has

  418. such wisdom. Right, when you get to know someone like that, okay,

  419. it forces you to decide who he is. You know

  420. what I'm saying. No, you cannot help the whole day.

  421. You won't be able to say It forces you to

  422. decide who he is. You know what I'm saying now,

  423. It forces you. If suddenly your childhood friend are suddenly

  424. I do all this thing, You'll be asking who is

  425. this guy? Really? You know what I'm saying now, So Jesus,

  426. while doing all this thing, it forces them and so

  427. they start to do trace back and they start to

  428. find all this familiarity, they have, all this history they

  429. had from their experience, and because of that they undersaid,

  430. is he really the Messiah? Or is he someone that

  431. we know and is just trying to play a fool

  432. with us? Do you know what I'm saying? You see,

  433. when someone is so great and they are close to you,

  434. what happens? They start to reflect you. You're wanna saying

  435. what I'm saying. Some of you might I know what

  436. I'm saying here. Sometimes you go back to your old hometown,

  437. or your go to your old schooler like fifty years,

  438. or they haven't seen each other so that I said, hey,

  439. how are you doing? How are you doing? How like? Oh,

  440. you're doing better, he's doing worse. We all like to

  441. compare one, isn't there Ah, I used to like you,

  442. Now you don't like me. I say, you didn't get

  443. me a all these other things. You know, we compare.

  444. Oh see last time I was lasting in class. Now

  445. I'm so much better. Right now I'm the top already.

  446. We tend to compare. We like to compare. But someone

  447. who is so close to you grew up so you

  448. and then they are so great, what do you do?

  449. You start to discount the person. You downgrade the person

  450. because people say, if he is so great, how come

  451. you are not? It's great, it's him. And this is

  452. similar to like Able and Kine, oh able and Kine.

  453. Remember Abel was accepted, Kane was not. How So, when

  454. someone is great and doing great, it cannot help. What

  455. happens is there's a comparison. It's a reflection happening. What

  456. did I do with my life? And because of that,

  457. they became offended with him. How can you be so great?

  458. So they reject the suppressed. You get me right, they're suppressed.

  459. They're suppressed about him. And and what do they do? Okay,

  460. they're suppressing and what do they do? Uh? And they

  461. say offender? And Jesus said, a prophet is not without

  462. honor except in his own country, among his own relatives

  463. and his own house. A prophet will receive honor everywhere

  464. except in his own country. Normally are profits in the

  465. same generation, in the same pier. They will be hated,

  466. they will be cast out, and some a lot of

  467. times they are killed. The next generation is the one

  468. that buries them and remembers their great work, the great hypocrisy. Huh,

  469. and say what I'm saying now, and this is the

  470. and this is the this is the history of the prophets,

  471. you know, hated by their own generation, but the next

  472. general niation will remember and bury them. You mean, right,

  473. is very very very very sad and hypocritical. And then

  474. he says that now he could do no mighty works

  475. as there, except that he laid his hands on the

  476. field and healed them, and he marveled because of their unbelief.

  477. And he went about the villagers in the circuit teaching.

  478. So he couldn't do great mighty works then, except for

  479. maybe healing a few people. Now this is where you

  480. gotta really hold on. Okay. So Jesus saw something, Okay,

  481. saw unbelieved in his hometown, people who knew him best.

  482. Then what did Jesus do? In the second one, he says,

  483. he sent out the twelve disciples. Immediately he must understand

  484. it's all connected. One Now he's so unbelieved, and he started,

  485. he begins to have a plan. His plan is sending

  486. out the disciples two by two, saying that you go

  487. into every city and villages. Okay, and then what did

  488. they do? What what message did they preach? He preached

  489. they preach repentance. You must repent. Okay, they preach, and

  490. then he says that you were always where sandals and

  491. don't wear two tunics. Why what does it mean? Why sandals?

  492. The only time you wear sandal is when you are

  493. on on holy ground. Okay, Moses have to take off

  494. his sandals because he was on holy ground. That's why

  495. I say, you're not going to be accepted every time. Okay,

  496. you gotta wear your sandals. You've gotta be ready. You

  497. may be in and he may be out very quickly.

  498. This sandals, two tunics? Why you have normally people wear

  499. normally people. If you're a richer, you're better, more affordable,

  500. you wear two tunics. It's like we wear our coat.

  501. We have a shirt and we have our coat. The

  502. outer coat is more for like to show your formality

  503. or sometimes if you are really rich, you're shore you're

  504. being more pompous or being more elaborate and stuff. Later,

  505. when Jessa said, you don't need your coat, you don't

  506. need your outer garment. You only need your insight on

  507. his word. You are not there for formality or any celebration.

  508. You're just to go in and out immediately. You get

  509. what I'm saying, you are not there to make a celebration.

  510. You're not there to really have any cute meat agenda.

  511. You're just there to meet the needs. If they accept you,

  512. they accept you. Thatt's it out and they get me right.

  513. You're not to make a royalty of anything as well. Okay,

  514. So that was why I did, and then it said okay,

  515. then it moves to a very interesting talks about John

  516. the Baptist beheaded pastor so confusing talk about being rejected,

  517. sending disciples, and suddenly talk about John the Baptist beheaded.

  518. This is the part where I just struggle, you know,

  519. I was like, Jesus, why are trying to tell me?

  520. I really don't understand. You know. I tried looking online,

  521. so oh I never tell me or so not. So

  522. I labored and labor. Then I understood something. You know

  523. why they talk about John the Baptist beheaded, and then

  524. immediately after the beheading, it was what they're feeding the

  525. five thousand and before was the sending of the twelve.

  526. Do you see something happening there? John the Baptist came

  527. before Jesus to tell people who Jesus is, to pave

  528. the way. John the Baptist beheading marks the end of

  529. his ministry, and the ministry now belongs to the disciples.

  530. The sending out the twelve before John the Baptist was

  531. their internship, their internship, but the internship cannot step into

  532. the full time role because there was something someone doing it.

  533. It was John the Baptist. So now John the Baptists

  534. have officially retired early. Okay, Now Jesus comes in and

  535. says that you are going to come in and I'm

  536. going to prepare you to feed the five thousand. Now

  537. you understand, you understand now the context of the feeding

  538. the five thousand mile John the Baptist nom already but

  539. a lot of foreshadowing. There's a lot of profecty things

  540. I can tell you. John the Baptist is also a

  541. hint of how the disciples will also have to endure. So,

  542. but now the role has been vacated very clearly. Is

  543. a passing of the bottom on. John the Baptist stepped

  544. away the disciples. But the disciples are very young. It's

  545. like you're you're recruiting a fresh grad or a graduator

  546. into a manager's roleing on into John the Baptist's rolling

  547. on such a heavy role. You get mean right? How

  548. you know they were preaching the same thing, repentance. John

  549. the Baptist was preaching repentance as well. John the Baptists

  550. were so great. But these twelve jokers fisherman text collectors,

  551. who are always squabbling abore themselves, is not going to

  552. take over his mentor. But yet, of course they've got

  553. mentor that Jesus. Jesus is going to mentor them to

  554. take on this role. And then the first thing they

  555. have to do, Jesus say, now Jesus knows that Jean

  556. Baptists had died because the John Baptist disciples told him.

  557. Jesus hurd that what did he do? He didn't go

  558. and mourn, He didn't go and visit the funeral. What

  559. is to do? He said? Now the work has to

  560. be done. Now I have to prepare my disciples. And

  561. that's say why I'm saying, you know, this is the story.

  562. Jesus prepares them by saying, hey, look at these people

  563. ship without shepherd, and yet my disciples don't understand what

  564. is happening. The people are hungry, and my disciples are

  565. telling me to send them home. They don't see what

  566. I'm seeing. You see, you see when you are trying

  567. to be a minister, right, it's not just about casting

  568. demons out. You see in the very beginning of the

  569. Feeding the five thousand and you say, say in verse thirty,

  570. the apostles, after they went to the villager's right, they

  571. came back. They were so amazing, you know, oh, cast

  572. out demons, heal people. They were telling just says, yeah,

  573. my ministry is successful. Who you know, my homeless multiply

  574. I do this. Yeah, Jesus, no, stop, like give me

  575. I they were absorbed, but Jesus like good, okay, good good.

  576. But now they go five thousand. They will not prepare

  577. for the five thousand. You know why. They were okay

  578. to heal, but they were not ready to feed. This

  579. burden was too much for them. You get me, right.

  580. It's one thing to do ministry and one thing to

  581. be burdened with the people want to know it gave

  582. me right, and this is the ministry that Jesus is

  583. called to bear the burden of the people. When I'm

  584. not asking the church at to fIF five thousand people,

  585. I'm saying it not. But what I'm saying to you

  586. is this that the ministry is to the needs of

  587. the people, the urgent needs of the people. And are

  588. you able to see that they are sheep without shepherd

  589. and when as you are when you go into the ministry.

  590. It's not because I got talent. You go into ministry

  591. because you know there is a need. You know Jesus

  592. is calling, and you know that you are seeing what

  593. Jesus is seeing, and you know before you see anything

  594. for yourself, you're going to be emptied. Yeah, being a

  595. pastor is not great. Like, well, I got title. I

  596. want people will say hi, high pastor, high pastor. It's

  597. a burden. It's a burden. Seriously, it's a burden. Being

  598. a parent is a burden. Be a parent child? Yeah,

  599. so cute take photo. I think that's the best part

  600. of being a parent, is it. It's a burden. You

  601. come here. A lot of people want ministry without the burden.

  602. They want the glory without the burden. But it's a burden.

  603. How lonely it is. How much the people will empty

  604. you first? You got me right before you have anything.

  605. You know, they will empty you first. And the disciples

  606. send them away, let them eat their food. We will

  607. do the rest of mystry, but we will not be

  608. empty to we you're gonna take our two hundreds in

  609. narrea salaria, We're gonna be empty. Cannot do. But you

  610. say that you fit them. That's why the center. You

  611. fit them. Then they realize this is the job requirement.

  612. You got me right. They're just like, this is the

  613. job requirement. What do we get involved when we started

  614. following Jesus is that that you don't understand your job

  615. requirement and when you're in your working on Oh my goodness,

  616. this is the real job requirement. This is what we

  617. are following Jesus for. Not miracles and not but to

  618. be burdened, but to be you know. But he said,

  619. you now doing your role first day at work. You

  620. don't know how to do it? Jesus. How then Jesus

  621. say that you feed them? Then what you have give

  622. to him. So Jesus shows the miracles, give to them.

  623. And then what do we see? The last one? As

  624. I close here, Jesus walk on the sea. Why suddenly

  625. Jesus go and walk on the sea. You never see

  626. the connection? Now why Jesus work on the sea. That's

  627. read a bit okay. Mark Chapter six, verse forty five. Immediately,

  628. he says, he says the word immediately, you know, after

  629. feeding the five thousand, after doing all this miracle, after

  630. thinking that they have been properly. But they call it

  631. in turn or what they call it, brief about their job,

  632. or understanding what ministry is about, or understanding that their

  633. competency is nothing, but their sufficiency is found in Christ.

  634. He would have thought they understood it. But then he

  635. says that immediate after that he went he made his

  636. disciples to do another thing, another test. First day you

  637. go to a lot of tests. He made them to

  638. go into the boats and go before hto the other side.

  639. Now he went for one side to the other side

  640. of Bessada, to canoe, not very far, about a few km,

  641. you know, rowing, very simp very simple. And this is

  642. about six o'clock. They say that the evening he says

  643. that they got four watches six to nine, in the evening,

  644. nine to twelve, twelve to three, and three to six.

  645. Then the day begins again four watches, okay, Now, he

  646. says here and when he has sent them away, he

  647. departed to the mountain to pray. So they he sent

  648. them to to to row across he himself. He will

  649. go to the mountains to pray and he will meet

  650. them on the other side. Okay. It's like saying that, hey,

  651. j one, right now, I want you to drive, try

  652. to my right to essess to guy there, and I

  653. tell pass that I mean I will meet you there personally, okay,

  654. and say what I'm saying. Okay, say you guys, all

  655. of you take the car me. I will walk there

  656. and I will meet you there. I'm not Jesus, Okay,

  657. I'm just give you an example. I will walk there

  658. and I will meet you, says to the Duriam place. Okay, okay,

  659. I will meet you there. Okay. This is what happened.

  660. And then it says there in verse forty seven, now

  661. when evening came and the boat was in the middle

  662. of the sea and he was alone in the lane.

  663. Then he saw them straining and rowing for the wind

  664. was against them. Now, about the fourth watch of the night,

  665. he came to them walking on the sea and where

  666. I passed them by. So it says in the evening,

  667. around six to nine o'clock he told them, you go

  668. ahead and meet me. Okay. I told you guys to

  669. meet me around say at eight o'clock eight pm tonight.

  670. It's from six o'clock towards I told you, okay, then

  671. I wait there until until ten o'clock, eleven o'clock, twelve o'clock,

  672. twelve o'cot second watcher, the fourth watchat is three o'clock already,

  673. you know, in the night, in the morning. In the morning,

  674. it's like, hey, you guys, take how many hours are

  675. just to go from here today? Nine hours are then

  676. I was imagining Jesus is there already on the other side, okay,

  677. he said, looking, And then you guys are still stuck

  678. there halfway through. You all cannot moving on your battery

  679. dying traffic jam. You men, you're stuck there en for

  680. so long. And he says that this don't still rowing,

  681. And then I know, there's what we know and not

  682. doing all. You must understand how these people had just

  683. cast out demons and healed people. Hey, telling Jesus how

  684. much they've done and all, and they had just fifive

  685. thousand people and all seeing great miracles and all. But

  686. yet that cannot cross the sea. You know, did you

  687. see something here? And now? Why can't they cross the sea?

  688. And you have to ask yourself, is this similar to

  689. the people earlier that rejected Jesus because of their unbelief. Oh,

  690. is it possible that they have cast out demons heal

  691. people and watch Jesus feed five thousand, that they still

  692. unbelief or do not believe, and because of the unbelief,

  693. they still couldn't cross the sea. Have you realized that before?

  694. Do you think? Is it what I say? I surmise

  695. that what does the Bible say? The Bible says that

  696. in verse fifty and in verse forty nine. And when

  697. they saw him walking on the sea, they supposed it

  698. was a girlst ah, Okay, for nine hours we've been

  699. straining a traffic gem star here suddenly someone are not

  700. going no be done? Hi saying, oh you know you're

  701. so stressed out and frustrated. Already nine hours just to

  702. get through the traffic gem dry hours just to paddle

  703. through this wind and storm. They would try that. They

  704. were like, something is wrong. Something is you know, something

  705. is not like you not crossing this this this air

  706. and this there's this waters. And then he said that.

  707. But immediately he talked to them and said be of good, said,

  708. be a good cheer. It is I do not be afraid.

  709. Then he went into the boat to them. Then he

  710. stepped into the boat and the wind seas, and they

  711. were greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure and marble. Before

  712. this day had never said this on before that there

  713. had never been marveled. And we believe in now. And

  714. then verse fifty two reveals finally, it reveals what for

  715. they had not understood about the Thovese because of their

  716. heart was hardened. Wow, now you see the sequence. Things

  717. happen here. Things happen now for a reason. You know.

  718. Sometimes are you go through a testinger And Jesus figured

  719. five thousand. He said, while we've done a lot of

  720. things already. Yes, we're ready, we understood the message, past

  721. prays already, Yeah to training years. Okay, ready the moment

  722. we're supposed to go there, we can't even do anything.

  723. We stray. We do it forgot to pray you, forgot

  724. to rely on God. We can't even cross the sea.

  725. You can't even get from a fifteen minutes location and

  726. not just get it right. You know, you know why,

  727. because we have never understood who really Jesus was, even

  728. the disciple can see all these things. I still did

  729. not believe, you know, quite amazing, really really quite amazing.

  730. And it's not any thing about it. It's really not

  731. quite amazing because even you think about it, the people

  732. in their hometown are after spending so long with Jesus,

  733. are do not believe in on you know, see what

  734. I'm saying. So my, my, my finally encreation here is

  735. my time is up. I know I have do a

  736. rush already. Don't harden your hearts. Understand what I'm saying.

  737. Don't harden your hearts. God is faithful to always give signs,

  738. you know, to do one miracle after another, to take

  739. you from one place to another, so that this office

  740. that has been given to you you can fulfill it

  741. to the completion. Yes, it's difficult, but yet a lot

  742. of times we harden our hearts. It's all about us.

  743. It's all about us. It's all about our canality, our

  744. things that we want to do a lot of things.

  745. But don't harden your heart. What is God speaking to

  746. you right now today, addressing right now in your life

  747. that what is it that is so hard in your life?

  748. I tell you it's so hardened. You say, oh, I

  749. only believe that you and Jesus appear writing from me.

  750. I tell you Jesus can appear righting for it, and

  751. you still don't believe. That's how hardened we are. You're

  752. not you know what I mean? Right? We are so

  753. sinful and so so self deceptive. We are so so

  754. stubborn now that these things and will not change us.

  755. You know, so today we have You know what God

  756. has been telling you. If you're supposed to serve yourself,

  757. if you've got talents, you're supposed to give your talents,

  758. start giving excuses. If you're supposed to leave one person,

  759. you live that person. You're not being supposed to be

  760. a read relationship, leave that relationship. You know I'm saying here,

  761. not before one day. Even your own the people from

  762. your own home now reject you, will reject me, your

  763. own hearts. Even if you want to revisit that old

  764. memory you have with Jesus, that will not convert you.

  765. You know that's how scary it is. You know what

  766. I'm saying, and not it's so important that we heed

  767. right now that what is God call? It's not like God? Yeah,

  768. maybe you know I'm gonna enjoy this right now, or

  769. maybe my plan is I set on my life set

  770. on my family everything first, Then I serve you. I

  771. know people well meaning, and I know that there are

  772. sometimes we have generations before I say you're going to

  773. do that out there? When you have all money, you

  774. go and soft God let me. I got a problem

  775. with that with one thing. Every morning when you wake up,

  776. do you really take your breath for granted you think

  777. that you're going to live to tomorrow, next Monday, next year? Really,

  778. who gives you that? Do you know? Every breath is

  779. a privilege? You know? I just want not one family

  780. survive and knows cancer the teeth. They're so thankful. They

  781. used to have plans, want to do this, they want

  782. to do now. I just want to go to Bible study.

  783. You're saying what I'm saying, you not. I have a

  784. problem with that because you're sore, presumptuous that you have

  785. the days ahead. Did God approve that? No? Every day

  786. to day you wake up, your breath is a privilege

  787. is a blessing. What have you done? How have you

  788. been accountable to say things like that? You know what

  789. I'm saying? Or not? You ought to solve now to

  790. the abssability. Your children, they are a blessing from God.

  791. Sometimes you give so much you get so little back

  792. because you do it on your own. I tell you

  793. you'd be like the disciples. You can solve so much

  794. to your children, but yet you can't even get the

  795. boat across fifty minutes. It's true. Your children need Jesus.

  796. Your children need your parents to follow like Jesus. You

  797. know what I'm saying. No, they need to see you

  798. as a parent, be like Jesus, to serve, to give

  799. to empty, then they will follow. The feeding doesn't come

  800. from you, your munitures a hand as a tool. The bread,

  801. the true breath from Heaven, comes from Heaven. That's how

  802. your family will be feed people. You know what I'm saying.

  803. You not not because you fit them with tuition, with classes,

  804. with enough sleeping time. I'm sorry i'll offend people here,

  805. but it's true. What makes you say that is not

  806. God's hands to one. They'll raise your children. That's the truth.

  807. So don't be presumptuous, and don't harden your hearts, but

  808. soften it so that God can minister, so that you,

  809. yourself and your family can receive that salvation. Amen, come,

  810. let's raised together, hallelujah. I don't mean to score. I

  811. tell you, like I said, the messages came up to there.

  812. Tell you whatever that I'm preaching, it just came up

  813. this morning. It didn't I didn't have not a gender.

  814. I just came up. But this is the word of

  815. the Lord. Don't harden your hearts. Soften it up before

  816. the Lord. Ask the Lord to minister, said, Lord, I'm

  817. so fearful. I'm fearful for my own self that if

  818. you not hear, if I do not soften, Lord, that

  819. I might be out of reach. Lord, please have mercy.

  820. Don't let me drift away. Lord, don't let me be

  821. so stubborn, so dismissive, so offended, just like these people are,

  822. that I cannot be rich. But Lord, have mercy. Today

  823. I choose. I thank you that you continually work in me,

  824. and I want to hear you today, harle and Lawyer,

  825. wherever you are. I know I have to step away

  826. right now. I'm going to ask you, you guys, to

  827. wherever you are, to lift up your hands. I need

  828. you guys to come before the Lord right now. Come

  829. and commit yourself to the Lord. Come and pour out

  830. your hearts and your thoughts and surrender to him.

  831. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
