You're listening to a message to go from X Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day. Okay,
-
I have a question for all of you.
-
Here in ex Church, we practice different things, you know, well,
-
not contrary to what the Bible says. But if you
-
look at church right, different churches, we have different expressions
-
of what we understand the Bible to be. You know,
-
different denominations have different expressions, okay, expressions. When we read
-
the Bible, we interpret what we need to do, and
-
then we express like for example, communion. Community is a
-
widely accepted thing that every Christian, if you're a believer,
-
you will do it, okay, just the way we do.
-
It's different.
-
Some will drink from the chalice, some will take the cups,
-
some will use unliving bread, some will drink wine. Then
-
there's an argument wine or no wine. Those that like
-
wine will say we should do wine. Those that don't
-
like wine, like Rabbina, say we should do a Rabina
-
does say, okay, with anything, will do my low Okay,
-
I don't know, okay, so so so so in X
-
as we've started this church. One of the things that
-
you know, I tell you how it started basically pasta
-
kena he received uh you know, you know the thing
-
a pasta God tell him to do, he would just
-
do it or no, right, I want you him so
-
many years a day.
-
Right.
-
The scary bit is when God tell him do, he
-
would just do. The exciting bit also is when God
-
tell him to do, he would just do. And he
-
started just because God asked him to do it. He
-
was very happy. If you hear the history. He was
-
very happy in another church which was you know, an
-
awesome church as well.
-
And then he started the church.
-
And one of the as he was starting the church,
-
and then he was praying for direction because you know,
-
you start, you cannot just start church. I don't want know,
-
you need covering, you need a lot of things. And
-
next year is out twenty fifth and he was three, Hey,
-
I don't I wonder how many if you here happen
-
actually since day one? Okay, I'm looking at Kyling since Dana.
-
No.
-
Actually I think Kyling is like the she's very young
-
on you know, but she's like the oldest one of
-
the oldest extra member here older me. Sorry, I chimpo
-
you a Kyli, but you go talk to all of
-
the years God has given our church you know, or
-
we as a church, we say we've downloaded from the
-
lot different things, you know. Now we have church plans,
-
now we have different things. When of course, when we
-
set out to you know, in the journey of our church,
-
we you know, we didn't set up to like, oh
-
we want to you know, last time, our vision was like, well,
-
a big, big big, everybody is big, right, and then sudenly,
-
God give us the idea of small, you know. So
-
God leads the church pray Scott right, Pray Scott is
-
not man but the Holy Spirit leading.
-
But one of the desires that we have as AX.
-
And that's why we are called ex Church because we
-
want to go back to the Church of Ax in
-
the Bible. So when you have a name like that,
-
then no choice, lot, you have to follow right. And
-
the Church of X in the Bible is the first
-
church that was ever born, you know, not under any
-
demonasia and and the Lord has led us so far. Okay, guys,
-
just do let I know we're not a cut we're
-
legit one. Okay, we're recognized by different bodies. We're legit.
-
But I'm just giving us the history and this is
-
all done by God.
-
Amen. So if you attend this church, and you call
-
this church your home.
-
You do have a legacy, see with you, even if
-
you just join us for a month, six months whatever.
-
Understand the legacy.
-
You know, when you understand the legacy or where you
-
came from, you understand the history away came from, then
-
you will be able to follow and flow. You know,
-
when you decide to come here. There are different things
-
that you like, correct that, if not, you want you
-
come here. Okay, I never like to come here. Only God,
-
let me hear, go on to ours called a story.
-
I have that story, tim, go and have that story. Actually,
-
do you know want to come extras one? Okay, long story.
-
I wan't talk about it today. But the Lord let
-
us and we're here. Praise scot okay, Praise the Lord.
-
Okay. And God has downloaded to our church a lot
-
of things. Okay. And I remember because I grew up
-
in this church as well. We're not very old. Maybe
-
I've been the X for.
-
Nineteen years to tell you, yeah, nineteen years eary, nineteen
-
oh half my lifetime in this church. My wife longer,
-
she came to extress earlier.
-
And God has.
-
Given us a lot, a lot of principles that we
-
prec a lot of things that we do until today. Okay,
-
of course, I'm not sure whether we fully express it
-
the same because last time when it was I don't
-
want to use this word, but I use it for
-
I use it for understanding when it was pure, when
-
it was just three hundred. You know, train people easy
-
to manage. Now actually got thousand. World is very not
-
very easy to align. You know, for those of you
-
who are involved in corporate you know, and Hi and
-
or you'll know that corporate culture is not something easy
-
to align to one right, But.
-
We have our culture.
-
We have our culture according to what we expressed from
-
the Bible, Amena. I'm taking a long time to explain
-
this story. I'll get into it. You guys following me
-
so far? Okay, okay, you guys follow me so far? Okay,
-
thank you? Uh So, you know, and one of the
-
principles that we really fully believe in, I say we are,
-
I declare versa really fully believe in. It's always giving
-
only your best to God.
-
Amen. Oh you're not convinced?
-
Always giving only your best to God about this means
-
want us to give?
-
Please don't be skeptical about it okay. And that is
-
a principle that we believe in. That's a value that
-
we have.
-
You know, when you go to someone's house and you
-
and they're very hospitable and they're very kind, and you know,
-
all these things are values that the family practices, you know,
-
the family and acts. This is one thing we practice.
-
We always give God our best. We always give God
-
our best.
-
Amen, you know.
-
And if you're like really man, never never feel it.
-
Also never I also never give got your best. Today
-
I teach Youla. You didn't say I fat out of
-
the house right for BJ Today I teach you Alla.
-
Let me teach you what our family believe in. I
-
still remember last time when I had to deal with
-
my kids. You know, they watch YouTube, then they pick
-
up language that it's not so good. I had to
-
go and tell my son. I didn't just call him,
-
don't say I'm very better, you know, I just went there, son,
-
we don't do this here.
-
This is not us.
-
We don't I don't say that. Do you hear Mammy
-
and Daddy use those words. No, we don't do it here.
-
You shouldn't do it here. And if you continue want
-
to do it here at this way the track comes,
-
then you're not part of the family.
-
Isn't that true? I'm not speaking lies, Nana, it is true.
-
It is true.
-
A guys, if you don't practice certain things, then you
-
you you are not.
-
Part of the family. No. Oh, I like what that?
-
Then go and join that family. Now, Okay, I can't
-
say that here. Okay, of course my son has to
-
say that, right, Okay, but you you understand not? You
-
understand not. So I'm not trying to be strong and necessary.
-
I'm trying to teach you guys something right, And don't worry.
-
I'm not just saying this pulling this off anywhere. I'm
-
going to go into scripture. Okay, So follow me here
-
today I I and and the next time I come
-
in pretty here. I want to share because I also
-
know that this line and this phrase and this value
-
through the years I have been misinterpreted, have been.
-
Scorned by How can you dude? You know?
-
Okay, guys, I hope that you catch it because I
-
practiced this in my life and I think it is
-
something that all Christians should practice, not just our church.
-
Every church. You practice this to always give only our
-
best to God. Amen.
-
Let's go to scripture. Key verse is in Mark chapter twelve,
-
verse thirty to thirty one. Okay, Mark chapter twelve, verse
-
thirty to thirty one. Okay, let me give you a
-
little bit of a background history on where this is
-
coming from. So Jesus is basically teaching the temple, and
-
he's engaging with the religious teachers, he's engaging with the scribes.
-
He's engaging in the people who are seen as holy. There.
-
Then you know, there was a divide.
-
There was the holy bunch, and then there was the
-
common people. There was the richer holy bunch, and then
-
there was the common people, right, and it was a
-
bad divide. It was not a good divide, right. And
-
Jesus came and he engaged them. He engaged both sides.
-
He didn't just don't care, but he was very clear
-
on his vision. He came for sinners, he came for
-
the poor, He came to fulfill the law. He came
-
to show us a better way to live. That's what
-
Jesus came to do. Praise God for that.
-
Amen.
-
And he was engaging every single person there, right. And
-
of course he got in trouble because him coming throwing
-
off the political situation, him coming is kind of like her.
-
It's like some independent stating happening. You know, guys, you
-
know where Jesus stood. He didn't stood up just for
-
the little man or the working class. He didn't just
-
stey up for the politicians. He stood up for God,
-
his father. He stood up to show us a way
-
to live. Right, and typically human beings describes that were
-
very well versed in the law that was given by
-
God himself.
-
Right, ask him questions are okay?
-
They were questioning him, question this question, that trying to
-
catch him, right, why because he basically was so awesome
-
and he didn't just how to say. He was so
-
awesome in terms of not just the way he presented,
-
but he also did miracles, right. He brought peace to
-
the land, he brought away Right. But of course they're
-
not happy, lot, the leaders, they're not happy, everybody not happy.
-
So they want to challenge him. So they asked him
-
this question. And I'm reading from Scripture. Then one of
-
the scribes came and, having heard them reasoning together, perceiving
-
that he had answered them well, asked him which is
-
the first commandment of all?
-
So they wanted to give him in.
-
Trouble, not even with the religious teachers because he asked.
-
They asked, Jesus, you know, should we pay taxes to Caesar?
-
And during that time he was I mean, I would say,
-
go and read your bible.
-
La.
-
I'm just trying to give you all these footnotes to
-
tell you how interesting the Bible is if you read it,
-
how interesting it is. You know, sometimes we read it
-
and we don't get it right because maybe we haven't
-
dive deeper enough. So today I want to go deep
-
into always give only your best of God? Okay, if
-
you already knows, she can write there part one, and
-
we're going to talk about the why.
-
Why should I give always best of God? Okay? Why
-
should I give always my best of God?
-
The next time I share share about the how how
-
do you give your best of God?
-
Right? But today I'll talk about the why. Amen?
-
Okay, So they are seem right, wh which is the
-
first commandment of all? So they know they got the
-
ten commandments? They got this a bunch of ruleslat. Okay,
-
So isn't it interesting?
-
Guys?
-
Wouldn't you come here and say a pas, Elvin, can
-
you just give it?
-
There's so many things, so can you just give me.
-
One principle one thing that if I follow it, I'll
-
be okay, one thing only.
-
What is that one thing? Because I cannot think about
-
so many things? What is that one thing?
-
And Jesus answered and said, the first of all the
-
commandments is.
-
Here, o Israel, the Lord, our God. The Lord is one.
-
And you shall love the Lord your God with all
-
your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind,
-
and with all your strength.
-
This is the first commandment. And the second like.
-
It is this, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.
-
There is no commandment greater than this.
-
And in some scriptures it says these under these two
-
commandments hang all the law and the prophets, meaning everything
-
that has happened in Israel, everything that has happened, the
-
ten Commandments, everything that's happened in the history of Israel,
-
hangs on these two things only. He summarized everything. And
-
do you know that Jesus didn't just pull this out
-
of nowhere because this came from eutronomy. Let's go back
-
to this writer. The Bible is awesome again. New Testament
-
Old Testament cross reference. Okay, did you guys how to
-
do Bible study? Are you guys following me or not?
-
Right?
-
Deutronomy, Chapter six, verse four to seven. Okay, And I'm
-
gonna read from verse two because we just spoke about wisdom,
-
and the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
-
Right.
-
He says here that you may fear the Lord your
-
God to keep all his statues and his commandments, which
-
I commanded you, you and your son and your grandson,
-
and all the days of your life, that your days
-
may be prolonged. So if you want to live long,
-
fear the Lord. Be scared of him enough to live long.
-
Amen.
-
Let's read on that for here o Israel, and be
-
careful to observe it, that it may be well with
-
you that you may multiply greatly, as the Lord your God,
-
your father's have promised you a land flown your milk
-
and honey.
-
Here O Israel. The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
-
It is sounds a meal that, right, didn't Jesus say that?
-
Who's this? They've been saying this so long ago.
-
These are all written in scripture, guys, Okay, in the Torah. Right,
-
you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
-
with all your soul, with all your strengths. And these
-
words which I command you today shall be in your heart.
-
And then let's continue. You shall teach them diligently to
-
your children, and shall talk to them when you sit
-
in your house, when you walk by the way, when
-
you lie down, and when you rise up. Parents, let
-
me revert to you. Now I am a parent, so
-
I understand this a little bit more. The Bible asks
-
us to teach it to our kids. Okay, let me
-
ask you a simple question.
-
Do you have to answer?
-
Reflect on this which one more powerful? Teaching them in
-
theory or showing them impractical? You have to know which
-
one is more powerful? Parents, how do you teach your children?
-
You have to show them. You can tell them all
-
you want. They're not going to do it, or you
-
know they might.
-
Let some will be red kuai wan, they will do Okay,
-
what QUI means very obedient.
-
But the Bible asks us to teach it to our kids.
-
Let's teach it to our kids. Amen.
-
Let's start when they're young, teaching them how to honor
-
the Lord, teaching them how to honor the Sunday, the Sabbath. Right,
-
it is our practice that affects it.
-
You know, uh are you being legally sticking. No, I'm not.
-
There will be days where you cannot, there will be
-
days where you'll be late. There will be days.
-
It's fine, it's okay, but strive to teach them the
-
value of your faith. Your faith, you know, because if
-
your faith is valuable, even show if your faith is valuable,
-
your kids are picking up.
-
You have to score them. You do have to set rules.
-
If you value something in your family, they will stop
-
practicing it. One trust me, it's very interesting. I can't remember.
-
There's something that happened recently. Just do you remember where
-
I just realized that my son is doing it and
-
I didn't even realize that, you know.
-
Okay, Lema la give her a chance. But round the.
-
Bus, Okay, friends, let's go deeper a little bit. Okay,
-
I have a bit more time. I think I can
-
do this.
-
Okay.
-
I hope you guys will be looking forward to the
-
next part because the next part I can just go
-
straight into it since I really gave you like the
-
understanding ready, right, So the Bible says, oh, if you
-
want to go deeper and study, you can write this
-
notes down meant you twenty two to thirty seven and
-
forty and Luke ten twenty seven.
-
Basically, it's the same encounter.
-
But written in a different way because different person wrote
-
it a lot. Different disciple you know wrote it. Okay,
-
but it's the same encounter. You can go in a
-
deeper study there. Okay, but let's talk about this. Let's
-
talk about the first comment. Don't talk about the second
-
coment today. I talk about the first commandment that Jesus
-
said that it's the most important. He summarized everything, He
-
summarized the ten commanments, He summarized everything with this one thing,
-
that we should love the Lord our God with all
-
our heart, our soul, our mind.
-
Okay, so let's break it down. What did you start with?
-
Love the Lord our God with all our so you'll
-
get it. Let's try it again, Love the Lord, I'll
-
go with all our heart heart? Why herd? Why hard? First?
-
Because it is a heart method.
-
It is not a law metter, friends, are you coming
-
to church following just the law.
-
This is why you're already said, This is why you're
-
a pressured.
-
This is why when you're late to Sunday service and
-
you miss on they servicea you feel condemned because to you.
-
Is law.
-
It is not law, friends, it is not law. It
-
is a method of the heart. It has always been
-
a metal of the heart. It is always a matter
-
of how Why do I say that? Jesus explains it
-
really well. He explains it really well in scripture Matthew
-
chapter five twenty one to thirty. Okay, when he shares
-
about two key things. Okay, again, there are many other things,
-
but these are two very big quad young while using
-
a law for Cantonese today, very big hed sayer, very bombastic,
-
very like jarring examples because he talks about murder and
-
a doubtery. Okay, and I'm just gonna read. Why is
-
it a metal of the heart? Why is it not
-
just a law in action? Why is it a matter
-
of heart? Matthew five twenty one says, you have heard
-
that it was said to those of all you shall
-
not murder. Basically he's talking about the tank com moments.
-
You shall number the Oh, okay, who here agree? You
-
shall not murder? Everybody you agree? Okay, raise up your
-
hand if you agree.
-
Law. Oh my goodness, now foster fos too. First two?
-
Okay, well law right, well, low, okay, you shall not murder?
-
And whoever murders will be in danger of judgment. Correct,
-
not correct? Right makes sense?
-
Right?
-
Right, don't break your law even you feel like you
-
don't kill person, don't not don't do it?
-
Right.
-
But this is the Jesus part. Why is he a
-
metter of the heart and not just law? But I
-
say to you that whoever is angry with his brother, Okay,
-
let me ask you a question for those brothers.
-
Have you been angry your brother before?
-
Okay, raise up your hand, la guys, Okay, you don't
-
have brother, your sister or not?
-
You got no brother nor sister. You got false or
-
not you got mother? If father? Are not.
-
Angry at your brother without a cause? Sign you just
-
feel angry a person with no reason, right, just the
-
first phase. Right, shall be in danger of the judgment.
-
Huh you mean I angry your so I can be
-
in danger of judgment. But I didn't do anything, Well, God,
-
I didn't do anything. And whoever says to his brother raca,
-
I went and go and find out what means?
-
I thought. There's a compliment means empty head.
-
Direct translation, empty hait raca right shall be in danger
-
of the council. But whoever says you fool shall be
-
in danger of what is not very drama, hell fire. So, friends,
-
from I understand if you're angry at your brother or
-
sister or my own God, say Brither angry, she says, okay,
-
if you're angry at anyone, you are in danger of
-
hell fire.
-
This is why Jess just forgiveness. Are you angry? Please forgive?
-
For friends? We shall you ready have? Which pain? You
-
ready have? Health? Fire pain or anger pain? Right? I mean,
-
Jesus came and he saved it all. Isn't this a
-
heart matter? Is it the law?
-
No, it's a heart matter, he said the moment you
-
and let let's let's go, let's go further. This more
-
to us, guys, okay, meant nine says you have heard
-
that it was said to those of all you shall
-
not commit adultery. And if you're below eating here, I'm
-
not gonna explain what that is, going to ask your
-
parents for that means?
-
Okay, But I say to you that whoever looks at
-
a woman for.
-
Last, to last, for her has already committed adultery with
-
her in his heart.
-
Oh guys, sorry, I'm a guy, So I so fall
-
to this? Can I be? Can I confess.
-
If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it
-
out and cast it from you, for it is more
-
profitable for you that one of your members perish, then
-
for your whole body to be cast into hell. That means, sir, guys,
-
can I it sure?
-
This? I hope you won't be taken out of context.
-
That means that if you are in the risk of
-
committing adultery in your heart now, you better run far
-
far away. You'll catch me or not, because it is
-
always a matter of the heart. Jesus spoke really well.
-
You've got that. That's why he talks about love the Lord,
-
your God with all your heart first, not your brain
-
or your heart first, because it is a heart issue.
-
If you don't love God with your heart, you will
-
love other things with your heart. I can expound on
-
it even more, but I wouldn't no time. Okay, this
-
is a very graphic thing. But Jesus had a very
-
good point. Don't you think it's a good point. I
-
used to read this and like, Lord, how can you
-
say this? It is so unfair. I'm still thinking law,
-
I'm not thinking heart. But when I think heart, it
-
makes sense. It makes sense when I think about the heart.
-
It makes sense. It starts with our heart. And you
-
know what happens after it starts your heart. It consumes
-
your soul. And after a while your decisions are guided
-
by what you think. It starts with your heart, and
-
then it will consume your soul, and after that, your mind,
-
your decisions, the way you think, will slowly go that direction.
-
Let me give you another explanation to that. You know,
-
we look at the external, but God always looks.
-
At the internal.
-
Right, don't you think for those of you who are
-
maybe even leaders of companies, and you are people who
-
take care of people, you will understand this when I
-
say this, you can see what is in a man's
-
heart when you look at his track record. Do you
-
know that you can see what is in a man's
-
heart when you look at his track record?
-
A woman's heart in the chery?
-
Cause say, you can see one, can see one, but
-
long enough time you can see one?
-
Why why is it like that? Well?
-
The Bible explains it. The Bible explains it in Matthew seven,
-
verse fifteen to twenty. Let's read it and let's learn
-
some things. Are you guys okay? Are guys catching something?
-
Okay? Matthew chapter seven. Let's go to read fifteen to twenty.
-
Says here, beware of false prophets who come to you
-
in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are revenous wolves, meaning
-
people can look nice, nice in the outside, but actually
-
inside their wolf okay, dangerous.
-
You will know them by their fruits.
-
Do men gather grapes from porn bushes or fixed from thissels?
-
Even so, every good tree best good fruit, but a
-
bad tree bad, bad, bad, Sorry, a bad tree is sorry.
-
A good tree cannot oh sorry. Even so, every good
-
tree best good fruit, but a bad tree best bad fruit.
-
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a
-
bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not
-
bad good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore,
-
by their fruits you will know them. Because it starts
-
in the heart. It consumes your soul, and then you
-
will act upon it.
-
This is why.
-
Jesus said it starts there first. It never starts with
-
the action. Or no, even you say in pauls of
-
the moment, your of the moment. And that's like in
-
the court in the cause of law, right, they talk
-
about pre meditated, Has it been pre meditated? Meaning you
-
already thought about it, thought about doing it right. But a
-
lot of times we live a life that is very emotional.
-
But Jus deals with that. Let's not just talk about
-
pre meditata and they're doing it because that's law. Let's
-
talk about where it starts from. Do you know that
-
if you love the Lord, your God with all your heart,
-
you wouldn't even come to a place of premeditation.
-
That's why God deals with it first. Amen.
-
So that's the heart. So, guys, it is a heart issue.
-
When you talk about giving God our best, it is
-
a heart issue. It is. It's not about a lord issue.
-
Don't look at it as a lot issue. If you
-
look at it as a Lord issue, you've missed the point.
-
I extras al must dress up.
-
Like that one, you know?
-
If not, then you know, guys, anybody can I share this.
-
Anybody can wear however they want here. If that's your
-
best for God, you'll catch that. You'll catch that because
-
I believe ma am I going to judge someone that
-
comes here and dresses. No, I'm not going to eat
-
the person's I'm not going to I'm gonna welcome the person,
-
love the person, hal the person, smell funny. I will
-
still do it because the love of God is more important.
-
It is a hert issue.
-
But if this person continues to come here, I will
-
definitely encourage this person to also give their best to God.
-
What does that mean? I don't know. I will have
-
to find out. And can I help this person give
-
their best to God? I can.
-
Maybe this person cannot afford a court and we've heard
-
stories about how you know, our whole say, our uniform
-
is a court and people really want and they cannotfford,
-
and we bought for them. The team pulled together money
-
to buy for them. Why because we want to build
-
something together. Is it just law? No, it's not law.
-
It is the heart. So don't get missed, don't get confused,
-
because if you continent, look at heart, no wonder.
-
We are unhappy people, you know.
-
You know what the danger is If we continue to
-
look at law, you will feel judged and after a
-
while you're like, oh, I want to go against you know,
-
because Jesus should accept everyone, so I should live however
-
I want. You know, that's very dangerous because you are
-
not under some issue anymore already, because we have it's
-
no longer loved the Lord your God with all your heart. Really,
-
it's loving myself. You'll catch that. So let's think about
-
it heart, amen, I don't much time. Let's talk about
-
the second thing, soul do They will cover three things heart, soul,
-
and mind because we won't to understand how do I
-
love God with my heart?
-
How do I love God my soul? How do I
-
love God with my mind? Him?
-
How does he work? It's says to the heart first.
-
You can't love God with your soul and mind if
-
your heart is not there. The Bible also says where
-
a man's heart is the treasure is his heart is there?
-
Right? Yeah? Yeah, it's true, you're catching something. So what
-
is soul?
-
Okay, I'm not gonna go the I'm not going to
-
give you my own definition. Basically, I went to the
-
Congordence and I go and find out when they say
-
love the Lord you're God with all your heart?
-
And so what does soul mean?
-
So it's Greek, a Greek word because it was retained
-
I think Greek, right, Okay, past the man out here,
-
so we're gonna ask you. So yeah, anyway, New Testament. Okay,
-
but the word the original word, right, not the English word.
-
But origional word is sue k okay sue k psychologist.
-
Who love this because this is the root word for
-
psyche psychology, your soul, the psyche of the person, because
-
when I see the other spelling is b s y
-
c h e b pronounced sue ke. And the meaning
-
or the usage in the Bible is the breath of life. Friends,
-
where does the breath of life come from?
-
Where?
-
Some of you know, the rest of you're not sure.
-
The breath of life came from where? Great read Genesis.
-
You're the one that say God, but still not confident.
-
Down to the shot. The breath of life came from God.
-
He gave us breath. He gave us breath. Amen is
-
the vital force which animates the body and shows itself breathing.
-
Right. It's life.
-
It's that which there is life. When there is life,
-
there's breath, there is the soul. When there's that same
-
When people die, there's no more soul, so has gone.
-
The breath has gone. Right. What makes up the person
-
is God, It's just an empty shell. Correct. The soul
-
is also the seat of feelings, desires, affections, aversions. It's
-
our heart and our soul.
-
The human soul insofar as it is constituted by the
-
right use of the aids offered it by God, it
-
can attain its highest end and secure eternal blessedness or.
-
Very very, very complicated. Okay.
-
The soul is regarded as a moral being designed for
-
everlasting life. Do you know that in the world today,
-
If you are in the current news and all, you
-
will learn something that the battle is the bettle of
-
your soul. Because if the battle is a moral battle,
-
a battle of morality, it is a better of your soul.
-
Because people argue that there is no such thing as
-
objective morality. You know, objective morality is objective morality is
-
there is a God that decides what is right and wrong.
-
There is a high power decides and why it is
-
right wrong, And I don't know, so I have to
-
follow that rule. That's objective morality. Do you know what
-
subjective morality is? Whatever I feel and decide is correct,
-
it's correct. How dangerous that is? How selfish and self
-
centered that is as human beings to think in such
-
a way. I hope you guys are okay, me going
-
deeper a little bit now, did you a bit?
-
More?
-
Things are right? It is a divide of your soul.
-
What where your heart is? Your treasure is If your
-
heart is not with God, your heart.
-
Is somewhere else.
-
Be right, be very careful because after a while you
-
start believing in things. There's very funny one, I mean
-
not funny, Fanila.
-
Right.
-
The soul as an essence which differs from the body,
-
and it's not dissolved by that. That's why we believe
-
in as believers. We believe that there's the soul. Just
-
because you die, your soul is still around. The only
-
question is where is your soul going after that? Of course,
-
for those who wife Jesus, we believe you have eternal life. Amen,
-
Praise God. Do you know let me give you this
-
thing that as I was preparing I caught it. Who
-
can save your soul? It feels like rhetorical question, right,
-
who can save Jesus?
-
God?
-
Yeah, only God can save your soul. Do you know why?
-
Because He's the one that made it.
-
You'll catch it.
-
You're going back to our creator. Okay, let me I
-
hope he don't throw you guys off. All that I'm
-
sharing today, you can only accept and understand if you're
-
a believer, He who has here us let him hear.
-
But if you're not a believer of Christ, you do
-
not believe that the Bible is real. You do not
-
believe that Jesus redeems, you do not believe that God
-
made men, you do not believe that God gave us breath,
-
you do not believe in Genesis.
-
Then you have a problem. Then you'll be confused.
-
Then other thought processes and other ideas will come. But
-
if you fully believe the Bible, all that I'm speaking
-
right now makes perfect sense. You'll catch that there's no
-
in between one. No, that's the interesting thing about the Bible.
-
The line is run really clearly. If we fully believe
-
in Christ, if we fully believe that that it is
-
not fairy tale or reading, that God really made all
-
these things.
-
Everything that the Bible says makes sense.
-
Everything, the breath of God, soul us coming, you know,
-
eternal life, it all makes sense. But the moment we
-
allow another thought process to come in, the moment we
-
start thinking, oh, there's such a thing as subjective morality.
-
Oh yeah, but it's all about my feelings and emotions
-
and whatever I feel. It's true that the moment we
-
allow those things to come in, then all some of
-
the things I'm sharing out, You're like.
-
I don't understand. I don't get it. I don't fully
-
catch it. That's why I realize.
-
So if you believe that God created you, he gave
-
you your soul, then only He can save it.
-
No one else. You can't save yourself. The devil cannot
-
save you, the world cannot save you. Only God can't
-
save you. Because He made you your catch, that your catch.
-
That Salms one seven nine says, for he satisfies the
-
longing soul. How many of you, and I'm gonna talk
-
a little bit spritual now that have found peace in
-
the church and found peace in Christ. The scripture explains
-
that because he satisfies your soul, I don't understand. It
-
is so stressful in the office, but when I play worship.
-
Music, I feel at peace.
-
I don't under it doesn't need you to understand, or no,
-
doesn't require you to understand. Right, he satisfies your s
-
longing soul, and he feels the hungry soul with goodness.
-
A white Christians so happy all the time, and white
-
people who are on fire want to do good things.
-
And now why I didn't why.
-
I say it is so foolish, so generous, and so
-
fully so giving. Because God feels your hungry heart and
-
he feels your soul, we goodness it is from him.
-
Amen, you'll catch that.
-
Psalms nineteen seven says the law of the Lord is perfect.
-
That is something that we cannot refute. Okay, he's perfect
-
in converting the soul. The testimony of the Lord is sure,
-
making wise the simple. You can go and unpack someone
-
we sound the scripture. Okay, let me give this thought.
-
God's blueprint of our redemption plan has always been to
-
save our souls.
-
Friends, That is the truth. It has always been that
-
it is to save us.
-
But it is not to save our status, our belongings,
-
our material wealth, our achievements, or things that are tempower
-
in this earth. This is a fact that we believe in.
-
This is ready forgot to accept. Because you work so
-
hard for your house, You work so far, so hard
-
for your your study, your when you when you grow up,
-
your parents say you must study hard. If not, you
-
won't get a good job. You know you cannot survive.
-
Not you become some poer.
-
My share of card. You you know, we we we
-
so focused on that.
-
Don't become a full time person because you cannot earn
-
money on all the Chinese parents. You know when I that,
-
that's what happened. When I want to become full time,
-
I had to deal with that. See how blessed mind
-
can grow fed someone and I rot in really praise
-
the Lord. Our souls are eternal while everything is temporary.
-
Can you have that perspective today? It's hard. It's hard,
-
trust me, it is hot. I'm building my house right now.
-
It is hard to look at my house to say,
-
while I'm spending so much money on this, and this
-
is temporary. If I die, this is useless to me.
-
I'm just gonna enjoy it for a while. It is
-
not forever. Whatever you have. This is why, that's the focus.
-
This is why God has always helped us to focus
-
in that that line, not the temporal, but the eternal.
-
This earth is just a probation period. It is a
-
testing ground. It is a race we need to finish,
-
and let's finish it well.
-
Imen.
-
I'm not asking all of you to come fut after
-
this a pleasa, but I just need us to have
-
that perspective. Whatever we do in life, evaluate it. You
-
work so hard for something, is it temporal or eternal.
-
Please work on the eternal things. Your children's faith is eternal.
-
Amen.
-
Let's talk about the third thing. I don't I know,
-
I don't mind. I'm gonna try and breathe it. Okay,
-
you guys, Okay, A renewed mind.
-
Okay.
-
So let's say, Lord, I love you or my heart?
-
Check you know everyday single love song check check? Okay, Okay, God,
-
I understand my soul. Check you know my morality, You
-
decide everything, You are, my care, my being.
-
God is in me. Right, So I love you already.
-
You're in me. I believe in it. Great, awesome, no
-
other question.
-
Mark romans child want to says, I beseech your brethren. Therefore,
-
by the mercies of God that you present, your body
-
is a living sacrifice wholly acceptable to God, which is
-
your reasonable service.
-
Okay.
-
And do not be conformed by this world, but be
-
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may
-
prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will
-
of God. Friends, our minds need to be transformed and
-
renewed if we want to follow God's will and to
-
experience God in his life. That statement, I just shad,
-
just now it is not about law, but it's about
-
the heart. Verst is your mind renewed with that? Are
-
you having a bit of lightning your step to realize
-
that it's not all law? Your mind is renewed, and
-
our minds are constantly renewed when we go deep into
-
the world, when we go into faith, when we have
-
experiences with God, it is constantly renewed about this wonderful
-
person called Jesus, about this wonderful being called God that
-
we live in this life, you know, experiencing him.
-
This probation life, this this race. Does that make sense? Right?
-
But not easy?
-
Like not easy because if God and the Bible always
-
say can Malaysian coming out ready, but we and our
-
minds always say cannot.
-
Who do you think? Well? We eventually.
-
God say I can heal the sick. Yes, I believe
-
pray in God's timing. That's a human logic way to
-
explain it. In the timing of the Lord. Right, what
-
is God saying in your life?
-
Right now? There is a can that you say, No, Lord,
-
it's okay, I understand God. You are very busy.
-
You read the scripture and then God say, you know,
-
I will make you the heir now but I'm going
-
through so much problems. Cannot Lord, I don't see it.
-
We reason, our mind is not really new. Who win?
-
You think who win? Eventually?
-
Do you think God will win? Well? You win everything else,
-
but he might lose you. But can I give you
-
an answer? Can I give you an answer this way?
-
Faith comes in our faith or trust to believe in God? Yes, friends,
-
I know today your life is difficult. I know today
-
it's very difficult to believe in something contrary to what
-
is happening in your life. It is it is huh, God,
-
you say you love me, but then why in my family?
-
My d God? You say you provide for me? But
-
then why I like?
-
You know, I got, I got, don't have a million
-
dollars in the bank. Can I share with you something?
-
This is something I'm learning recently. You know the experiences
-
of the Israelized in the Bible about manna from heaven
-
that he will give you enough for today if you
-
want in faithor that's going to happen to you, And
-
how much you try and keep her and store you know,
-
God say right when you go to heaven it is useless.
-
You don't need it or know. Okay, I'm not saying
-
you what happen. I'm just saying that I'm experiencing my
-
that I'm like, Wow, Lord, I save money.
-
But then.
-
This is where faith comes in. Faith comes in because
-
where's your faith in? Is your faith in your bad account?
-
Is your faith in God? Is your faith in your situation?
-
Or if your faith faith in Jesus. Now, faith is
-
the substance of things homeful, the evidence of things not seen,
-
For by it, the elders obtain a good testimony by faith.
-
We understand that the world's were framed by the word
-
of God, so that the things which are seen were
-
not made of things which are visible.
-
And do you know that without faith it is impossible.
-
To please him. You want to please God, you gotta
-
have faith, no way around it. For he who comes
-
to God must believe that He is, and that He
-
is the reward of those who diligently seek him. If
-
you diligently sink the Lord, he will reward you. Friends,
-
how you know, imut being sure not happen before or not? Yeah,
-
it happened in my lifelae. Every time I seek him,
-
he comes through. Every time I don't.
-
Seek him, I get in bigger problems. Right.
-
It is something that the normal human mind cannot comprehend
-
in totality.
-
I don't understand. I totally don't understand.
-
How does it work, especially when we are faced with
-
impossible situations in our life because the problem is bigger.
-
We say God is big, right, But the problem is
-
always bigger? And why are you experiencing in ma?
-
Right? It's hard to Oh God, it's hard. It's hard.
-
I understand it's hard. But can I share with you
-
something some of the impossible situations in my life? I
-
know I'm taking a bit more time. I'm just I
-
need to end. Well, you guys, okay, right, I just
-
give you three or fall okay.
-
I have no money to get married or even by
-
a ring. No money. Ere one month.
-
Before I you know, I had a meeting in pasacav
-
and he said, how are you know?
-
You and Jess? You know?
-
Of course I throw it off, I said, oh, she
-
asked me one day I said, oh, when are we
-
going to get I say, oh, five years from now.
-
Then she was reret set apparently after that, and I said,
-
by to pass in one month, you know, and you
-
got ringal me no yet, but I'm gonna believe God
-
for it.
-
God provided, I went and look for ring for that money.
-
You know what happened. I went look for a ring,
-
I saw the amount. I don't care.
-
Roughly, guess how much I want to share you. Okay,
-
it's not five digits by the day. It's not true
-
your solar. You guess how much?
-
Okay? And I'm like okay. I prayed.
-
God provided me one one only one freelance job exact amount,
-
exact amount.
-
Of the ring.
-
Did a freelance job, brought the ring, get married with
-
no money? God provided?
-
Okay.
-
Impossible situation, friends, Maybe last time younger a bit more bodo,
-
So we'll just following na right, long story short, we
-
got married. We started our marriage with an additional twenty thousandit.
-
One week before the marriage, I was in deficit according
-
to my accounts for ten thousand ringit impossible situation.
-
Right.
-
My mom found this you have heard it sung in
-
Brisbane hospital racking up a high bill one month after
-
one week after, guys, I can buy house. Idea if
-
I have to pay the hospital everything. God brought her
-
home at the right timing. And I think i've chat
-
here before they got paid the bill. Impossible situation. Let
-
me share you another impossible situation that I'm experiencing right now.
-
Say, am I impossible? Right?
-
I'm in a miss of my house innovations, right, and
-
I'm moving forward with it. God's God open the door.
-
I'm still praying for providion. Now do I have all
-
the money? Can I be honest?
-
I don't have.
-
I'm not saying this, yes that anyway I've got put
-
it in your heart then.
-
You know what to do. I'm not saying.
-
I'm just sharing you walking in faith, okay, working in
-
faith have to have to open it up, you know,
-
close it over you. Guys know I love you. Fine,
-
don't don't have to Okay, But God has shown his hand.
-
He has he provided we want to two testimonies. He
-
provided sid money for me, right, I've shared it before.
-
The permit that was supposed got seventeen thousand, costs way
-
less and saved so much. See, because of all these things,
-
I know how to walk for some of you here,
-
for those of us who know how to walk in
-
faith in the Lord, you understand, right, you understand if
-
you work in faith in the Lord, you understand how
-
these things I'm sharing with you. You understand Loving the Lord,
-
your God, with all your heart, with all your soul,
-
with all your mind, seeing that it's not open door.
-
But then God moving for you, confirming your trust in him.
-
Second Conriedance five says, so we are always confident knowing
-
that while we are at home in the body, we
-
are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith,
-
not by side. Friends, we walk by faith and not
-
by sight.
-
We are confident.
-
Yes, well, please, rather to absence of the body and
-
to be present with the Lord.
-
Where is our focus today?
-
Is it in the problem or is it in the Lord?
-
Friends?
-
Don't you think it's worth giving God our best and
-
loving him with all our heart and mine? Don't you
-
think it is? I think it is because I've experienced it.
-
If you don't experience it, I challenge you and friends.
-
The wonderful thing is that this is not a journey.
-
We alone. We have Christliness. Remember I said, what's the
-
answer Christ? Jesus? I tell you. Without Jesus, I cannot
-
do all these things. Though.
-
That's the wonderful thing about faith. We understand in full
-
and in part. But some things you don't fully understand.
-
You just follow because you trust and God has given
-
us Christ and God has given us the Holy Spirit Hebrews.
-
Child one to do and I end with this.
-
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great
-
a cloud of witnesses, many people have gone before, many
-
people have wont in faith. Abraham, Isaac Jacob, Let me
-
not go far pass the kenneth other Kenya, doctor Jason Vonnica.
-
Some of you here, you're work in faith before you understand,
-
and you share those stories with your Hodel members. We
-
are homely members to encourage them. Let us lay aside
-
every way and the scene which so easily and stances.
-
Let us run with and endurance the race that is
-
said before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and the
-
finish of faith.
-
He is the author and the finisher of faith.
-
That's why we always look to him who for the
-
joy that was set before him. And you're the cross
-
despising the shame and has sat down at the right
-
hand of the turnal of God. Friends, if you didn't
-
getch anything today, I just I hope you will catch this.
-
Why we should always give only our best of God,
-
because it's worth it, because it's a commandment, because when
-
we do it right, we save ourselves a lot of heartache,
-
a lot of problems.
-
That's why can I be honest with you. We are
-
not here to set rules.
-
Neither are we here to let people do what they want.
-
Because I'm accountable to God. By pray that all of
-
you here we'll be able to build this church together
-
to give God our best. Whatever your best is, your
-
best five minutes, let's take that, your best, two hours,
-
let's take that your best is one month, plastic that.
-
Now I've seen this principle very differently. I've got young
-
people coming up to me and asking, Oh, Paselovian, I
-
want to join the VIP by.
-
Money free for one one week. Come just coming.
-
It's okay, That's definitely something you can do. And that
-
one week was so full. I hear about it until
-
now they're talking about it. Whatever you give to the
-
lot now you will get back one now more than
-
what you expect. You know, I can't give you anything
-
by courage you to give you the lot.
-
We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
-
information on our church, please visit as Church RG. We
-
are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that
-
this week is going to be a good week. I
-
hit for you, God bless
