  1. You're listening to a message to go from X Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day. Okay,

  3. I have a question for all of you.

  4. Here in ex Church, we practice different things, you know, well,

  5. not contrary to what the Bible says. But if you

  6. look at church right, different churches, we have different expressions

  7. of what we understand the Bible to be. You know,

  8. different denominations have different expressions, okay, expressions. When we read

  9. the Bible, we interpret what we need to do, and

  10. then we express like for example, communion. Community is a

  11. widely accepted thing that every Christian, if you're a believer,

  12. you will do it, okay, just the way we do.

  13. It's different.

  14. Some will drink from the chalice, some will take the cups,

  15. some will use unliving bread, some will drink wine. Then

  16. there's an argument wine or no wine. Those that like

  17. wine will say we should do wine. Those that don't

  18. like wine, like Rabbina, say we should do a Rabina

  19. does say, okay, with anything, will do my low Okay,

  20. I don't know, okay, so so so so in X

  21. as we've started this church. One of the things that

  22. you know, I tell you how it started basically pasta

  23. kena he received uh you know, you know the thing

  24. a pasta God tell him to do, he would just

  25. do it or no, right, I want you him so

  26. many years a day.

  27. Right.

  28. The scary bit is when God tell him do, he

  29. would just do. The exciting bit also is when God

  30. tell him to do, he would just do. And he

  31. started just because God asked him to do it. He

  32. was very happy. If you hear the history. He was

  33. very happy in another church which was you know, an

  34. awesome church as well.

  35. And then he started the church.

  36. And one of the as he was starting the church,

  37. and then he was praying for direction because you know,

  38. you start, you cannot just start church. I don't want know,

  39. you need covering, you need a lot of things. And

  40. next year is out twenty fifth and he was three, Hey,

  41. I don't I wonder how many if you here happen

  42. actually since day one? Okay, I'm looking at Kyling since Dana.

  43. No.

  44. Actually I think Kyling is like the she's very young

  45. on you know, but she's like the oldest one of

  46. the oldest extra member here older me. Sorry, I chimpo

  47. you a Kyli, but you go talk to all of

  48. the years God has given our church you know, or

  49. we as a church, we say we've downloaded from the

  50. lot different things, you know. Now we have church plans,

  51. now we have different things. When of course, when we

  52. set out to you know, in the journey of our church,

  53. we you know, we didn't set up to like, oh

  54. we want to you know, last time, our vision was like, well,

  55. a big, big big, everybody is big, right, and then sudenly,

  56. God give us the idea of small, you know. So

  57. God leads the church pray Scott right, Pray Scott is

  58. not man but the Holy Spirit leading.

  59. But one of the desires that we have as AX.

  60. And that's why we are called ex Church because we

  61. want to go back to the Church of Ax in

  62. the Bible. So when you have a name like that,

  63. then no choice, lot, you have to follow right. And

  64. the Church of X in the Bible is the first

  65. church that was ever born, you know, not under any

  66. demonasia and and the Lord has led us so far. Okay, guys,

  67. just do let I know we're not a cut we're

  68. legit one. Okay, we're recognized by different bodies. We're legit.

  69. But I'm just giving us the history and this is

  70. all done by God.

  71. Amen. So if you attend this church, and you call

  72. this church your home.

  73. You do have a legacy, see with you, even if

  74. you just join us for a month, six months whatever.

  75. Understand the legacy.

  76. You know, when you understand the legacy or where you

  77. came from, you understand the history away came from, then

  78. you will be able to follow and flow. You know,

  79. when you decide to come here. There are different things

  80. that you like, correct that, if not, you want you

  81. come here. Okay, I never like to come here. Only God,

  82. let me hear, go on to ours called a story.

  83. I have that story, tim, go and have that story. Actually,

  84. do you know want to come extras one? Okay, long story.

  85. I wan't talk about it today. But the Lord let

  86. us and we're here. Praise scot okay, Praise the Lord.

  87. Okay. And God has downloaded to our church a lot

  88. of things. Okay. And I remember because I grew up

  89. in this church as well. We're not very old. Maybe

  90. I've been the X for.

  91. Nineteen years to tell you, yeah, nineteen years eary, nineteen

  92. oh half my lifetime in this church. My wife longer,

  93. she came to extress earlier.

  94. And God has.

  95. Given us a lot, a lot of principles that we

  96. prec a lot of things that we do until today. Okay,

  97. of course, I'm not sure whether we fully express it

  98. the same because last time when it was I don't

  99. want to use this word, but I use it for

  100. I use it for understanding when it was pure, when

  101. it was just three hundred. You know, train people easy

  102. to manage. Now actually got thousand. World is very not

  103. very easy to align. You know, for those of you

  104. who are involved in corporate you know, and Hi and

  105. or you'll know that corporate culture is not something easy

  106. to align to one right, But.

  107. We have our culture.

  108. We have our culture according to what we expressed from

  109. the Bible, Amena. I'm taking a long time to explain

  110. this story. I'll get into it. You guys following me

  111. so far? Okay, okay, you guys follow me so far? Okay,

  112. thank you? Uh So, you know, and one of the

  113. principles that we really fully believe in, I say we are,

  114. I declare versa really fully believe in. It's always giving

  115. only your best to God.

  116. Amen. Oh you're not convinced?

  117. Always giving only your best to God about this means

  118. want us to give?

  119. Please don't be skeptical about it okay. And that is

  120. a principle that we believe in. That's a value that

  121. we have.

  122. You know, when you go to someone's house and you

  123. and they're very hospitable and they're very kind, and you know,

  124. all these things are values that the family practices, you know,

  125. the family and acts. This is one thing we practice.

  126. We always give God our best. We always give God

  127. our best.

  128. Amen, you know.

  129. And if you're like really man, never never feel it.

  130. Also never I also never give got your best. Today

  131. I teach Youla. You didn't say I fat out of

  132. the house right for BJ Today I teach you Alla.

  133. Let me teach you what our family believe in. I

  134. still remember last time when I had to deal with

  135. my kids. You know, they watch YouTube, then they pick

  136. up language that it's not so good. I had to

  137. go and tell my son. I didn't just call him,

  138. don't say I'm very better, you know, I just went there, son,

  139. we don't do this here.

  140. This is not us.

  141. We don't I don't say that. Do you hear Mammy

  142. and Daddy use those words. No, we don't do it here.

  143. You shouldn't do it here. And if you continue want

  144. to do it here at this way the track comes,

  145. then you're not part of the family.

  146. Isn't that true? I'm not speaking lies, Nana, it is true.

  147. It is true.

  148. A guys, if you don't practice certain things, then you

  149. you you are not.

  150. Part of the family. No. Oh, I like what that?

  151. Then go and join that family. Now, Okay, I can't

  152. say that here. Okay, of course my son has to

  153. say that, right, Okay, but you you understand not? You

  154. understand not. So I'm not trying to be strong and necessary.

  155. I'm trying to teach you guys something right, And don't worry.

  156. I'm not just saying this pulling this off anywhere. I'm

  157. going to go into scripture. Okay, So follow me here

  158. today I I and and the next time I come

  159. in pretty here. I want to share because I also

  160. know that this line and this phrase and this value

  161. through the years I have been misinterpreted, have been.

  162. Scorned by How can you dude? You know?

  163. Okay, guys, I hope that you catch it because I

  164. practiced this in my life and I think it is

  165. something that all Christians should practice, not just our church.

  166. Every church. You practice this to always give only our

  167. best to God. Amen.

  168. Let's go to scripture. Key verse is in Mark chapter twelve,

  169. verse thirty to thirty one. Okay, Mark chapter twelve, verse

  170. thirty to thirty one. Okay, let me give you a

  171. little bit of a background history on where this is

  172. coming from. So Jesus is basically teaching the temple, and

  173. he's engaging with the religious teachers, he's engaging with the scribes.

  174. He's engaging in the people who are seen as holy. There.

  175. Then you know, there was a divide.

  176. There was the holy bunch, and then there was the

  177. common people. There was the richer holy bunch, and then

  178. there was the common people, right, and it was a

  179. bad divide. It was not a good divide, right. And

  180. Jesus came and he engaged them. He engaged both sides.

  181. He didn't just don't care, but he was very clear

  182. on his vision. He came for sinners, he came for

  183. the poor, He came to fulfill the law. He came

  184. to show us a better way to live. That's what

  185. Jesus came to do. Praise God for that.

  186. Amen.

  187. And he was engaging every single person there, right. And

  188. of course he got in trouble because him coming throwing

  189. off the political situation, him coming is kind of like her.

  190. It's like some independent stating happening. You know, guys, you

  191. know where Jesus stood. He didn't stood up just for

  192. the little man or the working class. He didn't just

  193. stey up for the politicians. He stood up for God,

  194. his father. He stood up to show us a way

  195. to live. Right, and typically human beings describes that were

  196. very well versed in the law that was given by

  197. God himself.

  198. Right, ask him questions are okay?

  199. They were questioning him, question this question, that trying to

  200. catch him, right, why because he basically was so awesome

  201. and he didn't just how to say. He was so

  202. awesome in terms of not just the way he presented,

  203. but he also did miracles, right. He brought peace to

  204. the land, he brought away Right. But of course they're

  205. not happy, lot, the leaders, they're not happy, everybody not happy.

  206. So they want to challenge him. So they asked him

  207. this question. And I'm reading from Scripture. Then one of

  208. the scribes came and, having heard them reasoning together, perceiving

  209. that he had answered them well, asked him which is

  210. the first commandment of all?

  211. So they wanted to give him in.

  212. Trouble, not even with the religious teachers because he asked.

  213. They asked, Jesus, you know, should we pay taxes to Caesar?

  214. And during that time he was I mean, I would say,

  215. go and read your bible.

  216. La.

  217. I'm just trying to give you all these footnotes to

  218. tell you how interesting the Bible is if you read it,

  219. how interesting it is. You know, sometimes we read it

  220. and we don't get it right because maybe we haven't

  221. dive deeper enough. So today I want to go deep

  222. into always give only your best of God? Okay, if

  223. you already knows, she can write there part one, and

  224. we're going to talk about the why.

  225. Why should I give always best of God? Okay? Why

  226. should I give always my best of God?

  227. The next time I share share about the how how

  228. do you give your best of God?

  229. Right? But today I'll talk about the why. Amen?

  230. Okay, So they are seem right, wh which is the

  231. first commandment of all? So they know they got the

  232. ten commandments? They got this a bunch of ruleslat. Okay,

  233. So isn't it interesting?

  234. Guys?

  235. Wouldn't you come here and say a pas, Elvin, can

  236. you just give it?

  237. There's so many things, so can you just give me.

  238. One principle one thing that if I follow it, I'll

  239. be okay, one thing only.

  240. What is that one thing? Because I cannot think about

  241. so many things? What is that one thing?

  242. And Jesus answered and said, the first of all the

  243. commandments is.

  244. Here, o Israel, the Lord, our God. The Lord is one.

  245. And you shall love the Lord your God with all

  246. your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind,

  247. and with all your strength.

  248. This is the first commandment. And the second like.

  249. It is this, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.

  250. There is no commandment greater than this.

  251. And in some scriptures it says these under these two

  252. commandments hang all the law and the prophets, meaning everything

  253. that has happened in Israel, everything that has happened, the

  254. ten Commandments, everything that's happened in the history of Israel,

  255. hangs on these two things only. He summarized everything. And

  256. do you know that Jesus didn't just pull this out

  257. of nowhere because this came from eutronomy. Let's go back

  258. to this writer. The Bible is awesome again. New Testament

  259. Old Testament cross reference. Okay, did you guys how to

  260. do Bible study? Are you guys following me or not?

  261. Right?

  262. Deutronomy, Chapter six, verse four to seven. Okay, And I'm

  263. gonna read from verse two because we just spoke about wisdom,

  264. and the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

  265. Right.

  266. He says here that you may fear the Lord your

  267. God to keep all his statues and his commandments, which

  268. I commanded you, you and your son and your grandson,

  269. and all the days of your life, that your days

  270. may be prolonged. So if you want to live long,

  271. fear the Lord. Be scared of him enough to live long.

  272. Amen.

  273. Let's read on that for here o Israel, and be

  274. careful to observe it, that it may be well with

  275. you that you may multiply greatly, as the Lord your God,

  276. your father's have promised you a land flown your milk

  277. and honey.

  278. Here O Israel. The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

  279. It is sounds a meal that, right, didn't Jesus say that?

  280. Who's this? They've been saying this so long ago.

  281. These are all written in scripture, guys, Okay, in the Torah. Right,

  282. you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,

  283. with all your soul, with all your strengths. And these

  284. words which I command you today shall be in your heart.

  285. And then let's continue. You shall teach them diligently to

  286. your children, and shall talk to them when you sit

  287. in your house, when you walk by the way, when

  288. you lie down, and when you rise up. Parents, let

  289. me revert to you. Now I am a parent, so

  290. I understand this a little bit more. The Bible asks

  291. us to teach it to our kids. Okay, let me

  292. ask you a simple question.

  293. Do you have to answer?

  294. Reflect on this which one more powerful? Teaching them in

  295. theory or showing them impractical? You have to know which

  296. one is more powerful? Parents, how do you teach your children?

  297. You have to show them. You can tell them all

  298. you want. They're not going to do it, or you

  299. know they might.

  300. Let some will be red kuai wan, they will do Okay,

  301. what QUI means very obedient.

  302. But the Bible asks us to teach it to our kids.

  303. Let's teach it to our kids. Amen.

  304. Let's start when they're young, teaching them how to honor

  305. the Lord, teaching them how to honor the Sunday, the Sabbath. Right,

  306. it is our practice that affects it.

  307. You know, uh are you being legally sticking. No, I'm not.

  308. There will be days where you cannot, there will be

  309. days where you'll be late. There will be days.

  310. It's fine, it's okay, but strive to teach them the

  311. value of your faith. Your faith, you know, because if

  312. your faith is valuable, even show if your faith is valuable,

  313. your kids are picking up.

  314. You have to score them. You do have to set rules.

  315. If you value something in your family, they will stop

  316. practicing it. One trust me, it's very interesting. I can't remember.

  317. There's something that happened recently. Just do you remember where

  318. I just realized that my son is doing it and

  319. I didn't even realize that, you know.

  320. Okay, Lema la give her a chance. But round the.

  321. Bus, Okay, friends, let's go deeper a little bit. Okay,

  322. I have a bit more time. I think I can

  323. do this.

  324. Okay.

  325. I hope you guys will be looking forward to the

  326. next part because the next part I can just go

  327. straight into it since I really gave you like the

  328. understanding ready, right, So the Bible says, oh, if you

  329. want to go deeper and study, you can write this

  330. notes down meant you twenty two to thirty seven and

  331. forty and Luke ten twenty seven.

  332. Basically, it's the same encounter.

  333. But written in a different way because different person wrote

  334. it a lot. Different disciple you know wrote it. Okay,

  335. but it's the same encounter. You can go in a

  336. deeper study there. Okay, but let's talk about this. Let's

  337. talk about the first comment. Don't talk about the second

  338. coment today. I talk about the first commandment that Jesus

  339. said that it's the most important. He summarized everything, He

  340. summarized the ten commanments, He summarized everything with this one thing,

  341. that we should love the Lord our God with all

  342. our heart, our soul, our mind.

  343. Okay, so let's break it down. What did you start with?

  344. Love the Lord our God with all our so you'll

  345. get it. Let's try it again, Love the Lord, I'll

  346. go with all our heart heart? Why herd? Why hard? First?

  347. Because it is a heart method.

  348. It is not a law metter, friends, are you coming

  349. to church following just the law.

  350. This is why you're already said, This is why you're

  351. a pressured.

  352. This is why when you're late to Sunday service and

  353. you miss on they servicea you feel condemned because to you.

  354. Is law.

  355. It is not law, friends, it is not law. It

  356. is a method of the heart. It has always been

  357. a metal of the heart. It is always a matter

  358. of how Why do I say that? Jesus explains it

  359. really well. He explains it really well in scripture Matthew

  360. chapter five twenty one to thirty. Okay, when he shares

  361. about two key things. Okay, again, there are many other things,

  362. but these are two very big quad young while using

  363. a law for Cantonese today, very big hed sayer, very bombastic,

  364. very like jarring examples because he talks about murder and

  365. a doubtery. Okay, and I'm just gonna read. Why is

  366. it a metal of the heart? Why is it not

  367. just a law in action? Why is it a matter

  368. of heart? Matthew five twenty one says, you have heard

  369. that it was said to those of all you shall

  370. not murder. Basically he's talking about the tank com moments.

  371. You shall number the Oh, okay, who here agree? You

  372. shall not murder? Everybody you agree? Okay, raise up your

  373. hand if you agree.

  374. Law. Oh my goodness, now foster fos too. First two?

  375. Okay, well law right, well, low, okay, you shall not murder?

  376. And whoever murders will be in danger of judgment. Correct,

  377. not correct? Right makes sense?

  378. Right?

  379. Right, don't break your law even you feel like you

  380. don't kill person, don't not don't do it?

  381. Right.

  382. But this is the Jesus part. Why is he a

  383. metter of the heart and not just law? But I

  384. say to you that whoever is angry with his brother, Okay,

  385. let me ask you a question for those brothers.

  386. Have you been angry your brother before?

  387. Okay, raise up your hand, la guys, Okay, you don't

  388. have brother, your sister or not?

  389. You got no brother nor sister. You got false or

  390. not you got mother? If father? Are not.

  391. Angry at your brother without a cause? Sign you just

  392. feel angry a person with no reason, right, just the

  393. first phase. Right, shall be in danger of the judgment.

  394. Huh you mean I angry your so I can be

  395. in danger of judgment. But I didn't do anything, Well, God,

  396. I didn't do anything. And whoever says to his brother raca,

  397. I went and go and find out what means?

  398. I thought. There's a compliment means empty head.

  399. Direct translation, empty hait raca right shall be in danger

  400. of the council. But whoever says you fool shall be

  401. in danger of what is not very drama, hell fire. So, friends,

  402. from I understand if you're angry at your brother or

  403. sister or my own God, say Brither angry, she says, okay,

  404. if you're angry at anyone, you are in danger of

  405. hell fire.

  406. This is why Jess just forgiveness. Are you angry? Please forgive?

  407. For friends? We shall you ready have? Which pain? You

  408. ready have? Health? Fire pain or anger pain? Right? I mean,

  409. Jesus came and he saved it all. Isn't this a

  410. heart matter? Is it the law?

  411. No, it's a heart matter, he said the moment you

  412. and let let's let's go, let's go further. This more

  413. to us, guys, okay, meant nine says you have heard

  414. that it was said to those of all you shall

  415. not commit adultery. And if you're below eating here, I'm

  416. not gonna explain what that is, going to ask your

  417. parents for that means?

  418. Okay, But I say to you that whoever looks at

  419. a woman for.

  420. Last, to last, for her has already committed adultery with

  421. her in his heart.

  422. Oh guys, sorry, I'm a guy, So I so fall

  423. to this? Can I be? Can I confess.

  424. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it

  425. out and cast it from you, for it is more

  426. profitable for you that one of your members perish, then

  427. for your whole body to be cast into hell. That means, sir, guys,

  428. can I it sure?

  429. This? I hope you won't be taken out of context.

  430. That means that if you are in the risk of

  431. committing adultery in your heart now, you better run far

  432. far away. You'll catch me or not, because it is

  433. always a matter of the heart. Jesus spoke really well.

  434. You've got that. That's why he talks about love the Lord,

  435. your God with all your heart first, not your brain

  436. or your heart first, because it is a heart issue.

  437. If you don't love God with your heart, you will

  438. love other things with your heart. I can expound on

  439. it even more, but I wouldn't no time. Okay, this

  440. is a very graphic thing. But Jesus had a very

  441. good point. Don't you think it's a good point. I

  442. used to read this and like, Lord, how can you

  443. say this? It is so unfair. I'm still thinking law,

  444. I'm not thinking heart. But when I think heart, it

  445. makes sense. It makes sense when I think about the heart.

  446. It makes sense. It starts with our heart. And you

  447. know what happens after it starts your heart. It consumes

  448. your soul. And after a while your decisions are guided

  449. by what you think. It starts with your heart, and

  450. then it will consume your soul, and after that, your mind,

  451. your decisions, the way you think, will slowly go that direction.

  452. Let me give you another explanation to that. You know,

  453. we look at the external, but God always looks.

  454. At the internal.

  455. Right, don't you think for those of you who are

  456. maybe even leaders of companies, and you are people who

  457. take care of people, you will understand this when I

  458. say this, you can see what is in a man's

  459. heart when you look at his track record. Do you

  460. know that you can see what is in a man's

  461. heart when you look at his track record?

  462. A woman's heart in the chery?

  463. Cause say, you can see one, can see one, but

  464. long enough time you can see one?

  465. Why why is it like that? Well?

  466. The Bible explains it. The Bible explains it in Matthew seven,

  467. verse fifteen to twenty. Let's read it and let's learn

  468. some things. Are you guys okay? Are guys catching something?

  469. Okay? Matthew chapter seven. Let's go to read fifteen to twenty.

  470. Says here, beware of false prophets who come to you

  471. in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are revenous wolves, meaning

  472. people can look nice, nice in the outside, but actually

  473. inside their wolf okay, dangerous.

  474. You will know them by their fruits.

  475. Do men gather grapes from porn bushes or fixed from thissels?

  476. Even so, every good tree best good fruit, but a

  477. bad tree bad, bad, bad, Sorry, a bad tree is sorry.

  478. A good tree cannot oh sorry. Even so, every good

  479. tree best good fruit, but a bad tree best bad fruit.

  480. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a

  481. bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not

  482. bad good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore,

  483. by their fruits you will know them. Because it starts

  484. in the heart. It consumes your soul, and then you

  485. will act upon it.

  486. This is why.

  487. Jesus said it starts there first. It never starts with

  488. the action. Or no, even you say in pauls of

  489. the moment, your of the moment. And that's like in

  490. the court in the cause of law, right, they talk

  491. about pre meditated, Has it been pre meditated? Meaning you

  492. already thought about it, thought about doing it right. But a

  493. lot of times we live a life that is very emotional.

  494. But Jus deals with that. Let's not just talk about

  495. pre meditata and they're doing it because that's law. Let's

  496. talk about where it starts from. Do you know that

  497. if you love the Lord, your God with all your heart,

  498. you wouldn't even come to a place of premeditation.

  499. That's why God deals with it first. Amen.

  500. So that's the heart. So, guys, it is a heart issue.

  501. When you talk about giving God our best, it is

  502. a heart issue. It is. It's not about a lord issue.

  503. Don't look at it as a lot issue. If you

  504. look at it as a Lord issue, you've missed the point.

  505. I extras al must dress up.

  506. Like that one, you know?

  507. If not, then you know, guys, anybody can I share this.

  508. Anybody can wear however they want here. If that's your

  509. best for God, you'll catch that. You'll catch that because

  510. I believe ma am I going to judge someone that

  511. comes here and dresses. No, I'm not going to eat

  512. the person's I'm not going to I'm gonna welcome the person,

  513. love the person, hal the person, smell funny. I will

  514. still do it because the love of God is more important.

  515. It is a hert issue.

  516. But if this person continues to come here, I will

  517. definitely encourage this person to also give their best to God.

  518. What does that mean? I don't know. I will have

  519. to find out. And can I help this person give

  520. their best to God? I can.

  521. Maybe this person cannot afford a court and we've heard

  522. stories about how you know, our whole say, our uniform

  523. is a court and people really want and they cannotfford,

  524. and we bought for them. The team pulled together money

  525. to buy for them. Why because we want to build

  526. something together. Is it just law? No, it's not law.

  527. It is the heart. So don't get missed, don't get confused,

  528. because if you continent, look at heart, no wonder.

  529. We are unhappy people, you know.

  530. You know what the danger is If we continue to

  531. look at law, you will feel judged and after a

  532. while you're like, oh, I want to go against you know,

  533. because Jesus should accept everyone, so I should live however

  534. I want. You know, that's very dangerous because you are

  535. not under some issue anymore already, because we have it's

  536. no longer loved the Lord your God with all your heart. Really,

  537. it's loving myself. You'll catch that. So let's think about

  538. it heart, amen, I don't much time. Let's talk about

  539. the second thing, soul do They will cover three things heart, soul,

  540. and mind because we won't to understand how do I

  541. love God with my heart?

  542. How do I love God my soul? How do I

  543. love God with my mind? Him?

  544. How does he work? It's says to the heart first.

  545. You can't love God with your soul and mind if

  546. your heart is not there. The Bible also says where

  547. a man's heart is the treasure is his heart is there?

  548. Right? Yeah? Yeah, it's true, you're catching something. So what

  549. is soul?

  550. Okay, I'm not gonna go the I'm not going to

  551. give you my own definition. Basically, I went to the

  552. Congordence and I go and find out when they say

  553. love the Lord you're God with all your heart?

  554. And so what does soul mean?

  555. So it's Greek, a Greek word because it was retained

  556. I think Greek, right, Okay, past the man out here,

  557. so we're gonna ask you. So yeah, anyway, New Testament. Okay,

  558. but the word the original word, right, not the English word.

  559. But origional word is sue k okay sue k psychologist.

  560. Who love this because this is the root word for

  561. psyche psychology, your soul, the psyche of the person, because

  562. when I see the other spelling is b s y

  563. c h e b pronounced sue ke. And the meaning

  564. or the usage in the Bible is the breath of life. Friends,

  565. where does the breath of life come from?

  566. Where?

  567. Some of you know, the rest of you're not sure.

  568. The breath of life came from where? Great read Genesis.

  569. You're the one that say God, but still not confident.

  570. Down to the shot. The breath of life came from God.

  571. He gave us breath. He gave us breath. Amen is

  572. the vital force which animates the body and shows itself breathing.

  573. Right. It's life.

  574. It's that which there is life. When there is life,

  575. there's breath, there is the soul. When there's that same

  576. When people die, there's no more soul, so has gone.

  577. The breath has gone. Right. What makes up the person

  578. is God, It's just an empty shell. Correct. The soul

  579. is also the seat of feelings, desires, affections, aversions. It's

  580. our heart and our soul.

  581. The human soul insofar as it is constituted by the

  582. right use of the aids offered it by God, it

  583. can attain its highest end and secure eternal blessedness or.

  584. Very very, very complicated. Okay.

  585. The soul is regarded as a moral being designed for

  586. everlasting life. Do you know that in the world today,

  587. If you are in the current news and all, you

  588. will learn something that the battle is the bettle of

  589. your soul. Because if the battle is a moral battle,

  590. a battle of morality, it is a better of your soul.

  591. Because people argue that there is no such thing as

  592. objective morality. You know, objective morality is objective morality is

  593. there is a God that decides what is right and wrong.

  594. There is a high power decides and why it is

  595. right wrong, And I don't know, so I have to

  596. follow that rule. That's objective morality. Do you know what

  597. subjective morality is? Whatever I feel and decide is correct,

  598. it's correct. How dangerous that is? How selfish and self

  599. centered that is as human beings to think in such

  600. a way. I hope you guys are okay, me going

  601. deeper a little bit now, did you a bit?

  602. More?

  603. Things are right? It is a divide of your soul.

  604. What where your heart is? Your treasure is If your

  605. heart is not with God, your heart.

  606. Is somewhere else.

  607. Be right, be very careful because after a while you

  608. start believing in things. There's very funny one, I mean

  609. not funny, Fanila.

  610. Right.

  611. The soul as an essence which differs from the body,

  612. and it's not dissolved by that. That's why we believe

  613. in as believers. We believe that there's the soul. Just

  614. because you die, your soul is still around. The only

  615. question is where is your soul going after that? Of course,

  616. for those who wife Jesus, we believe you have eternal life. Amen,

  617. Praise God. Do you know let me give you this

  618. thing that as I was preparing I caught it. Who

  619. can save your soul? It feels like rhetorical question, right,

  620. who can save Jesus?

  621. God?

  622. Yeah, only God can save your soul. Do you know why?

  623. Because He's the one that made it.

  624. You'll catch it.

  625. You're going back to our creator. Okay, let me I

  626. hope he don't throw you guys off. All that I'm

  627. sharing today, you can only accept and understand if you're

  628. a believer, He who has here us let him hear.

  629. But if you're not a believer of Christ, you do

  630. not believe that the Bible is real. You do not

  631. believe that Jesus redeems, you do not believe that God

  632. made men, you do not believe that God gave us breath,

  633. you do not believe in Genesis.

  634. Then you have a problem. Then you'll be confused.

  635. Then other thought processes and other ideas will come. But

  636. if you fully believe the Bible, all that I'm speaking

  637. right now makes perfect sense. You'll catch that there's no

  638. in between one. No, that's the interesting thing about the Bible.

  639. The line is run really clearly. If we fully believe

  640. in Christ, if we fully believe that that it is

  641. not fairy tale or reading, that God really made all

  642. these things.

  643. Everything that the Bible says makes sense.

  644. Everything, the breath of God, soul us coming, you know,

  645. eternal life, it all makes sense. But the moment we

  646. allow another thought process to come in, the moment we

  647. start thinking, oh, there's such a thing as subjective morality.

  648. Oh yeah, but it's all about my feelings and emotions

  649. and whatever I feel. It's true that the moment we

  650. allow those things to come in, then all some of

  651. the things I'm sharing out, You're like.

  652. I don't understand. I don't get it. I don't fully

  653. catch it. That's why I realize.

  654. So if you believe that God created you, he gave

  655. you your soul, then only He can save it.

  656. No one else. You can't save yourself. The devil cannot

  657. save you, the world cannot save you. Only God can't

  658. save you. Because He made you your catch, that your catch.

  659. That Salms one seven nine says, for he satisfies the

  660. longing soul. How many of you, and I'm gonna talk

  661. a little bit spritual now that have found peace in

  662. the church and found peace in Christ. The scripture explains

  663. that because he satisfies your soul, I don't understand. It

  664. is so stressful in the office, but when I play worship.

  665. Music, I feel at peace.

  666. I don't under it doesn't need you to understand, or no,

  667. doesn't require you to understand. Right, he satisfies your s

  668. longing soul, and he feels the hungry soul with goodness.

  669. A white Christians so happy all the time, and white

  670. people who are on fire want to do good things.

  671. And now why I didn't why.

  672. I say it is so foolish, so generous, and so

  673. fully so giving. Because God feels your hungry heart and

  674. he feels your soul, we goodness it is from him.

  675. Amen, you'll catch that.

  676. Psalms nineteen seven says the law of the Lord is perfect.

  677. That is something that we cannot refute. Okay, he's perfect

  678. in converting the soul. The testimony of the Lord is sure,

  679. making wise the simple. You can go and unpack someone

  680. we sound the scripture. Okay, let me give this thought.

  681. God's blueprint of our redemption plan has always been to

  682. save our souls.

  683. Friends, That is the truth. It has always been that

  684. it is to save us.

  685. But it is not to save our status, our belongings,

  686. our material wealth, our achievements, or things that are tempower

  687. in this earth. This is a fact that we believe in.

  688. This is ready forgot to accept. Because you work so

  689. hard for your house, You work so far, so hard

  690. for your your study, your when you when you grow up,

  691. your parents say you must study hard. If not, you

  692. won't get a good job. You know you cannot survive.

  693. Not you become some poer.

  694. My share of card. You you know, we we we

  695. so focused on that.

  696. Don't become a full time person because you cannot earn

  697. money on all the Chinese parents. You know when I that,

  698. that's what happened. When I want to become full time,

  699. I had to deal with that. See how blessed mind

  700. can grow fed someone and I rot in really praise

  701. the Lord. Our souls are eternal while everything is temporary.

  702. Can you have that perspective today? It's hard. It's hard,

  703. trust me, it is hot. I'm building my house right now.

  704. It is hard to look at my house to say,

  705. while I'm spending so much money on this, and this

  706. is temporary. If I die, this is useless to me.

  707. I'm just gonna enjoy it for a while. It is

  708. not forever. Whatever you have. This is why, that's the focus.

  709. This is why God has always helped us to focus

  710. in that that line, not the temporal, but the eternal.

  711. This earth is just a probation period. It is a

  712. testing ground. It is a race we need to finish,

  713. and let's finish it well.

  714. Imen.

  715. I'm not asking all of you to come fut after

  716. this a pleasa, but I just need us to have

  717. that perspective. Whatever we do in life, evaluate it. You

  718. work so hard for something, is it temporal or eternal.

  719. Please work on the eternal things. Your children's faith is eternal.

  720. Amen.

  721. Let's talk about the third thing. I don't I know,

  722. I don't mind. I'm gonna try and breathe it. Okay,

  723. you guys, Okay, A renewed mind.

  724. Okay.

  725. So let's say, Lord, I love you or my heart?

  726. Check you know everyday single love song check check? Okay, Okay, God,

  727. I understand my soul. Check you know my morality, You

  728. decide everything, You are, my care, my being.

  729. God is in me. Right, So I love you already.

  730. You're in me. I believe in it. Great, awesome, no

  731. other question.

  732. Mark romans child want to says, I beseech your brethren. Therefore,

  733. by the mercies of God that you present, your body

  734. is a living sacrifice wholly acceptable to God, which is

  735. your reasonable service.

  736. Okay.

  737. And do not be conformed by this world, but be

  738. transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may

  739. prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will

  740. of God. Friends, our minds need to be transformed and

  741. renewed if we want to follow God's will and to

  742. experience God in his life. That statement, I just shad,

  743. just now it is not about law, but it's about

  744. the heart. Verst is your mind renewed with that? Are

  745. you having a bit of lightning your step to realize

  746. that it's not all law? Your mind is renewed, and

  747. our minds are constantly renewed when we go deep into

  748. the world, when we go into faith, when we have

  749. experiences with God, it is constantly renewed about this wonderful

  750. person called Jesus, about this wonderful being called God that

  751. we live in this life, you know, experiencing him.

  752. This probation life, this this race. Does that make sense? Right?

  753. But not easy?

  754. Like not easy because if God and the Bible always

  755. say can Malaysian coming out ready, but we and our

  756. minds always say cannot.

  757. Who do you think? Well? We eventually.

  758. God say I can heal the sick. Yes, I believe

  759. pray in God's timing. That's a human logic way to

  760. explain it. In the timing of the Lord. Right, what

  761. is God saying in your life?

  762. Right now? There is a can that you say, No, Lord,

  763. it's okay, I understand God. You are very busy.

  764. You read the scripture and then God say, you know,

  765. I will make you the heir now but I'm going

  766. through so much problems. Cannot Lord, I don't see it.

  767. We reason, our mind is not really new. Who win?

  768. You think who win? Eventually?

  769. Do you think God will win? Well? You win everything else,

  770. but he might lose you. But can I give you

  771. an answer? Can I give you an answer this way?

  772. Faith comes in our faith or trust to believe in God? Yes, friends,

  773. I know today your life is difficult. I know today

  774. it's very difficult to believe in something contrary to what

  775. is happening in your life. It is it is huh, God,

  776. you say you love me, but then why in my family?

  777. My d God? You say you provide for me? But

  778. then why I like?

  779. You know, I got, I got, don't have a million

  780. dollars in the bank. Can I share with you something?

  781. This is something I'm learning recently. You know the experiences

  782. of the Israelized in the Bible about manna from heaven

  783. that he will give you enough for today if you

  784. want in faithor that's going to happen to you, And

  785. how much you try and keep her and store you know,

  786. God say right when you go to heaven it is useless.

  787. You don't need it or know. Okay, I'm not saying

  788. you what happen. I'm just saying that I'm experiencing my

  789. that I'm like, Wow, Lord, I save money.

  790. But then.

  791. This is where faith comes in. Faith comes in because

  792. where's your faith in? Is your faith in your bad account?

  793. Is your faith in God? Is your faith in your situation?

  794. Or if your faith faith in Jesus. Now, faith is

  795. the substance of things homeful, the evidence of things not seen,

  796. For by it, the elders obtain a good testimony by faith.

  797. We understand that the world's were framed by the word

  798. of God, so that the things which are seen were

  799. not made of things which are visible.

  800. And do you know that without faith it is impossible.

  801. To please him. You want to please God, you gotta

  802. have faith, no way around it. For he who comes

  803. to God must believe that He is, and that He

  804. is the reward of those who diligently seek him. If

  805. you diligently sink the Lord, he will reward you. Friends,

  806. how you know, imut being sure not happen before or not? Yeah,

  807. it happened in my lifelae. Every time I seek him,

  808. he comes through. Every time I don't.

  809. Seek him, I get in bigger problems. Right.

  810. It is something that the normal human mind cannot comprehend

  811. in totality.

  812. I don't understand. I totally don't understand.

  813. How does it work, especially when we are faced with

  814. impossible situations in our life because the problem is bigger.

  815. We say God is big, right, But the problem is

  816. always bigger? And why are you experiencing in ma?

  817. Right? It's hard to Oh God, it's hard. It's hard.

  818. I understand it's hard. But can I share with you

  819. something some of the impossible situations in my life? I

  820. know I'm taking a bit more time. I'm just I

  821. need to end. Well, you guys, okay, right, I just

  822. give you three or fall okay.

  823. I have no money to get married or even by

  824. a ring. No money. Ere one month.

  825. Before I you know, I had a meeting in pasacav

  826. and he said, how are you know?

  827. You and Jess? You know?

  828. Of course I throw it off, I said, oh, she

  829. asked me one day I said, oh, when are we

  830. going to get I say, oh, five years from now.

  831. Then she was reret set apparently after that, and I said,

  832. by to pass in one month, you know, and you

  833. got ringal me no yet, but I'm gonna believe God

  834. for it.

  835. God provided, I went and look for ring for that money.

  836. You know what happened. I went look for a ring,

  857. I have to pay the hospital everything. God brought her

  858. home at the right timing. And I think i've chat

  859. here before they got paid the bill. Impossible situation. Let

  860. me share you another impossible situation that I'm experiencing right now.

  862. I'm in a miss of my house innovations, right, and

  863. I'm moving forward with it. God's God open the door.

  864. I'm still praying for providion. Now do I have all

  865. the money? Can I be honest?

  866. I don't have.

  867. I'm not saying this, yes that anyway I've got put

  868. it in your heart then.

  869. You know what to do. I'm not saying.

  870. I'm just sharing you walking in faith, okay, working in

  871. faith have to have to open it up, you know,

  872. close it over you. Guys know I love you. Fine,

  873. don't don't have to Okay, But God has shown his hand.

  874. He has he provided we want to two testimonies. He

  875. provided sid money for me, right, I've shared it before.

  876. The permit that was supposed got seventeen thousand, costs way

  877. less and saved so much. See, because of all these things,

  878. I know how to walk for some of you here,

  879. for those of us who know how to walk in

  880. faith in the Lord, you understand, right, you understand if

  881. you work in faith in the Lord, you understand how

  882. these things I'm sharing with you. You understand Loving the Lord,

  883. your God, with all your heart, with all your soul,

  884. with all your mind, seeing that it's not open door.

  885. But then God moving for you, confirming your trust in him.

  886. Second Conriedance five says, so we are always confident knowing

  887. that while we are at home in the body, we

  888. are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith,

  889. not by side. Friends, we walk by faith and not

  890. by sight.

  891. We are confident.

  892. Yes, well, please, rather to absence of the body and

  893. to be present with the Lord.

  894. Where is our focus today?

  895. Is it in the problem or is it in the Lord?

  896. Friends?

  897. Don't you think it's worth giving God our best and

  898. loving him with all our heart and mine? Don't you

  899. think it is? I think it is because I've experienced it.

  900. If you don't experience it, I challenge you and friends.

  901. The wonderful thing is that this is not a journey.

  902. We alone. We have Christliness. Remember I said, what's the

  903. answer Christ? Jesus? I tell you. Without Jesus, I cannot

  904. do all these things. Though.

  905. That's the wonderful thing about faith. We understand in full

  906. and in part. But some things you don't fully understand.

  907. You just follow because you trust and God has given

  908. us Christ and God has given us the Holy Spirit Hebrews.

  909. Child one to do and I end with this.

  910. Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great

  911. a cloud of witnesses, many people have gone before, many

  912. people have wont in faith. Abraham, Isaac Jacob, Let me

  913. not go far pass the kenneth other Kenya, doctor Jason Vonnica.

  914. Some of you here, you're work in faith before you understand,

  915. and you share those stories with your Hodel members. We

  916. are homely members to encourage them. Let us lay aside

  917. every way and the scene which so easily and stances.

  918. Let us run with and endurance the race that is

  919. said before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and the

  920. finish of faith.

  921. He is the author and the finisher of faith.

  922. That's why we always look to him who for the

  923. joy that was set before him. And you're the cross

  924. despising the shame and has sat down at the right

  925. hand of the turnal of God. Friends, if you didn't

  926. getch anything today, I just I hope you will catch this.

  927. Why we should always give only our best of God,

  928. because it's worth it, because it's a commandment, because when

  929. we do it right, we save ourselves a lot of heartache,

  930. a lot of problems.

  931. That's why can I be honest with you. We are

  932. not here to set rules.

  933. Neither are we here to let people do what they want.

  934. Because I'm accountable to God. By pray that all of

  935. you here we'll be able to build this church together

  936. to give God our best. Whatever your best is, your

  937. best five minutes, let's take that, your best, two hours,

  938. let's take that your best is one month, plastic that.

  939. Now I've seen this principle very differently. I've got young

  940. people coming up to me and asking, Oh, Paselovian, I

  941. want to join the VIP by.

  942. Money free for one one week. Come just coming.

  943. It's okay, That's definitely something you can do. And that

  944. one week was so full. I hear about it until

  945. now they're talking about it. Whatever you give to the

  946. lot now you will get back one now more than

  947. what you expect. You know, I can't give you anything

  948. by courage you to give you the lot.

  949. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  950. information on our church, please visit as Church RG. We
