  1. You're listening to a message to go from ex Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your team.

  3. Let me share with you the title of the message today.

  4. It is part two of the part one and you

  5. want to hear what is part one? Go and listen

  6. to the MPG. I will strongly encourage you to listen

  7. to MPTG. But it's going to be part two of

  8. always give only your best of God? Okay, and we're

  9. gonna talk about the how today. How do you always

  10. give only your best of God? And just a little

  11. bit of introduction for those that may not be familiar.

  12. So in ex Church and in different churches, we have

  13. different expressions you know. Of course, all churches that are legit,

  14. we believe in Jesus. We believe that he died for

  15. since we believe that he's a son of God and

  16. God send him here to redeem us.

  17. Okay.

  18. We believe in the Bible, the living Word of God.

  19. We believe in the Holy Spirit, you know, that's what

  20. we believe in certain called things. Of course, different churches

  21. we have different expressions, different minor things, you know. As

  22. you can see, I don't wear a rope here, I

  23. don't have a staff you know, some to just practice that.

  24. Nothing wrong with that is just the expression. Okay for

  25. us as x and we started in two thousand, God

  26. has given past the head of the man who had started,

  27. who say yes to the Lord to start this church

  28. and then with a bunch of young people join and

  29. then start the young people.

  30. Now we're already nobody laughing. Uh and uh and and

  31. and and.

  32. And God has been good okay, and the things that

  33. God has given our church. And again it's all aligned

  34. to the word of God. Okay, uh, you know, and

  35. I'll talk about it a little bit. And as we

  36. continue to multiply, and as the Lord continues to uh

  37. you know, cause us to plant, you know, we shouldn't

  38. lose the spirit of what the Lord has given to us, correct, right,

  39. I mean, if you a very good example, but not

  40. a nice example to use this McDonald's. Imagine you go

  41. to the McDonald's, you know, the person who started the

  42. McDonald's right after ten shops. Then it looks differently. Then

  43. it looks different than don't call it McDonald's. Likewise, we

  44. have alsoady saying sometimes in X rays we say, hey,

  45. it looks a little bit different than don't call it

  46. exl you know we're excenal yes and nolah. I'm house proud, okay,

  47. because when you come here, the Lord has given us

  48. certain things and and and it's unique to us. I

  49. would say certain things, but then it is also something

  50. that you can practice anywhere else because when the church

  51. talks about stuff, we talk about your faith. Your catch

  52. they are not and your faith talks about who you

  53. believe in, what you believe in, what you practice. You

  54. see where I'm going what you practice right. Ultimately, it

  55. is about us following Jesus. Amen, only half of you

  56. agree me. Ultimately it is about us following Jesus. It's

  57. about us being disciples, meaning we need to look more

  58. and more like Christ.

  59. Imen.

  60. And when I say that, I'm not saying we expect

  61. all the women here to grow beards and start worrying white.

  62. No, that's not why I'm saying.

  63. But we should look like Christ in our spirit, in

  64. our conduct, in what we believe in, in our convictions.

  65. That's what we ultimately shu look like. So a good gauge.

  66. Why sorry?

  67. We like to challenge people, okay, because if you don't

  68. have any challenge your life and you stay the same forever,

  69. and then you look back ten years and you say,

  70. where have I come?

  71. You've not moved? Friends? Is life? You gotta move? Can

  72. you move?

  73. Or not? Can you not your neighbor and say you

  74. gotta move? What you're not convinced? Don't be a pure warmer.

  75. We're gonna pu here to warm only sets. Okay, So

  76. always give only your best God, it is a value

  77. that we believe in our church. Last the last time

  78. I shed. If you're all perselves this from you know?

  79. Is it bibigl Yes? I went extensively in explaining to

  80. you why it is not just you know, nice to

  81. hear things. It is not just a value. No, we

  82. believe in it because it's from the Bible. Because we

  83. love the Lord, our God, with all our heart, with

  84. all our soul, with all our mind, with all our strength.

  85. And when you love something or someone with everything, then

  86. you give that person your best. Amen half again, only agree.

  87. The rest is sleeping. Sorry, I'm on fire today, So

  88. you respond or don't respond.

  89. I'm not gonna care.

  90. I'm just gonna preach it because yesterday I learned it

  91. all though, that my job as a leader is to

  92. just share and whether you receive it or not. It

  93. is after the Holy Spirit. It's not my problem. So

  94. I'm not gonna offend you. Don't worry. I'm just gonna

  95. share what the Lord has praid on my heart so

  96. that you catch it. Amen, hopefully you catch it. Don't

  97. worry the ballom you throw so fast. Okay, So what

  98. is the heart issue? What is the issue? Think about it.

  99. It is a heart matter. It is always a heart matter.

  100. When you read the scriptures, Jesus always addresses the heart.

  101. He never addresses Oh you know you don't dress like that.

  102. You don't, of course you come to church and hey,

  103. why you talk about my dressinger. Well, where your heart is,

  104. your action will follow. There's something you have to talk

  105. about it. But we don't judge anybody here. But you

  106. got to remember it is a hard issue. It is

  107. not a law issue.

  108. So don't be distracted, don't be offended thinking that is.

  109. Oh, just just want me to be a goody goody,

  110. goody goody friends. It is always, has always been a

  111. hot issue because once you settle the heart, everything else

  112. where easy on.

  113. But the moment is not the moment.

  114. The heart is not settled, then we will have people

  115. get I don't want to describe after something you fear

  116. talking about you where people always trying to fight, trying

  117. to push, trying to judge, trying to friends. It has

  118. always been a hard issue. It's always been a hard issue,

  119. even for.

  120. Me as well. Right.

  121. Why is Pastor Elvin standing here preaching to you all?

  122. Why am I trying my best to disciple people? Is

  123. it just for my glory? It is just so the

  124. XPJ can look good and look great. No, friends, I

  125. want to follow Jesus. And if Jesus called me, if

  126. the Lord has called me to do this, then I

  127. will do it unto him with all my best, whether

  128. you like me or not.

  129. Because I'm not here the police man. I'm here to

  130. please God.

  131. And sometimes by pleasing God, men get offended sometimes, right,

  132. And that's what I have to deal with. If you

  133. think I like no, I don't like it. I don't

  134. like it if people don't like me. But it's always

  135. been a hard issue.

  136. Friends.

  137. Only God can save your soul, you know why, because

  138. he's the one that made your soul.

  139. You didn't make your own soul. I didn't make your soul.

  140. The devil did. Of course.

  141. No other men meet your soul. God made your soul

  142. so only he can save your soul. No one else can. Right,

  143. and his blueprint for our redemption plan has always been

  144. to save our souls, to save us, and not our status,

  145. not our belongings, material wealth, not our achievements, not things

  146. that are temporal on this earth. I remember talking to

  147. someone and I told this person, I said, you know, no,

  148. suddenly now you are like into gym and doing all

  149. these things. I told the person is I said, you know,

  150. when you face death, you change a lot of things

  151. in your life. You know, especially when you have something

  152. to live for right when you face that. But when

  153. you don't face theav a very easy, easy come, easy go.

  154. But when you face death you tend to have you

  155. tend to evaluate a lot of things.

  156. I remember the first.

  157. Time I had a brushweet death, not me, by a friend.

  158. And this was a famous story in Klang. Three youths passed.

  159. Away in KKB and one of it was not close

  160. but kindergarten.

  161. We know each other kindergarten. Somehow we still friends.

  162. And I found out as a teen that the person

  163. passed away right drowned. Try to save people, and I

  164. went for the whake service and I saw his face

  165. the same as on Why I tell you it was

  166. super existential.

  167. Man.

  168. What I had to think about after that. When we

  169. face death, a lot of things come into perspective. But

  170. when you don't face death on a day, well you

  171. don't face death then okay, La, you know we still

  172. live that. I'm not just talking about dying for final ky.

  173. So God's blueprint for a redemption plan has always been

  174. to save our souls, and it's talking about we need

  175. to happen renewed mind Romans twelve right, because we're living

  176. in a natural world right, and we won't be able

  177. to comprehend all these things with our own logic. Friends,

  178. if you try to figure out or try to understand

  179. how God works in your logic, you will fail. Trust me.

  180. I have given up trying to understand. I have spent

  181. more time trying to figure out the Bible and the

  182. Word and what God means. Read and try and figureut

  183. how God works. Oh why does this happen? Why does

  184. that happen? Sometimes we don't know, we have no answer, right,

  185. Oh why does this tragedy happen?

  186. You know? I like how this pastor or online share it?

  187. He said. I don't know. I'm not God. I don't know.

  188. But let me tell you what I believe God has done.

  189. Let me tell you how that tragedy has become a testimony.

  190. Let me tell you how the thing that is suffering

  191. has changed to hope, to love, to something that all

  192. of us can only say. This has to be God

  193. because naturally it will not happen, because normally it won't happen.

  194. Are guys catching something? So we have to have a

  195. renewed mind? Friends?

  196. Can I challenge you to have a renewed mind? Can

  197. I challenge you in twenty twenty five think about things differently?

  198. If you've been thinking about church, God, life, your faith

  199. the same all these past years, time to change your mind.

  200. Yesterday and although I had a very good friend he

  201. shed on stage, he said, two years, and I know

  202. you very well. Two years he's been struggling, striving the

  203. word right to accept different things because he was very

  204. confident in different things. And God had to change his mind.

  205. And he said, okay, God, since you you know, let

  206. me let me allow you to mow me after that. Wow,

  207. you look at him now, You'll be like for those

  208. that know him will be like Wow. Yes, He's a

  209. change man, right, Lisia, And God is working in his life.

  210. Amazing.

  211. This man once said I will never buy a house,

  212. bought a house last year. This year, I'm like, wow, God,

  213. you can change. Of course, I Enjoe and say maybe

  214. one day he will have a child because there's something

  215. he said he won't do as well.

  216. I'm purposely saying this because I know he might listen

  217. to it.

  218. Hebrews eleven one to say is now, faith is a

  219. substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not

  220. seen for by it, the elders obtain a good testimony

  221. by faith. We understand that the world's were framed by

  222. the word of God, so that the things were which

  223. are not seeing were not made of things which are visible.

  224. This thing about faith is very interesting, friends, because it's illogical.

  225. That's why you need faith to believe. Huh.

  226. You mean, I can, you know, stretch out my hand

  227. and pray for someone and just because the Bible say

  228. by he strikes you are he he's hell?

  229. Yeah?

  230. Yeah, yeah, it's illogical. Yes, it is, because we worship

  231. of God is supernatural. You mean, it's very logical for

  232. you to pray for things from nothing come out something.

  233. What does that tell your friends?

  234. It tells you that you cannot use the logic of

  235. this world to explain what the Lord has for your life.

  236. You will struggle, you will strive. The more you try

  237. to push God in a box, the more frustration you

  238. will have. But the more you humble yourself and follow God,

  239. he will reveal to you things that you do not know.

  240. He has revealed to me so much in my own life,

  241. how to work by faith, how to trust God, how

  242. to do crazy things. Why Because I've seen it in

  243. the lives of other people. I've seen it in testimonies

  244. about how people believe in healing. And if I believe

  245. in a God that is a god of the supernatural,

  246. then I can believe in the same thing. It is

  247. the evidence of what has been happening, not just hearsay.

  248. That's why the encouragement from the stage is very simple.

  249. Test God and see how good He is in your

  250. life for yourself, because you cannot live on another person's testimony.

  251. You can only live on your own testimony. And the

  252. more you try and live on someone else's testimony, the

  253. more you will discouraged engage God yourself. That's the wonderful

  254. thing about our faith. Everybody here can engage God on yourself.

  255. The only question is are we going to do it? Now?

  256. Amen? And that's my introduction.

  257. So friends, okay, I just a bit passionate, are you guys?

  258. Okay? Okay? So I have fair friends. Don't try and

  259. logify everything. Okay. So today we're going to talk about

  260. how to give got our best? Right?

  261. So I thought we'll start with the negative, okay, then

  262. we go positive. So let me ask you a question.

  263. What would stop us from giving got our best?

  264. Okay?

  265. And for fun, right, I'm just gonna ask differently here

  266. what do you think will stop you from giving out

  267. your best? Let's start with Daniel Wow, okay, not you

  268. other people?

  269. Out of people?

  270. What what will stop you, know, that person from giving

  271. their best? Just one word?

  272. Uh?

  273. One word? You don't know? Chasing after worldly things, chasing

  274. after worlding things?

  275. Okay, listing, complacent, complacent, complacency okay, says thinking I'm going

  276. to leave alone.

  277. I asked past, what will stop wiliness?

  278. Worliness? Okay, okay, let me find another victim? Yeah, iran,

  279. what will stop fear?

  280. Fear? Okay? Nah? Let me come Millian now, minion.

  281. What will stop people from giving their best to God? Yeah?

  282. Fear?

  283. Okay, Oh you're copying. Shut answer. Actually, there are a

  284. lot of things are okay. They are a lot of things.

  285. But I wrote down here five things are okay. Again,

  286. this is not an exhaustive Lisa. If you understand what

  287. they were. If you don't get what their woman is

  288. going to ask your parents, gay, it's not Exhaustedly a

  289. lot of things can stop you. But as I was

  290. thinking and praying and thinking about it, I think some

  291. of these things are quite common. And if you're not careful, friends,

  292. can I say this? None of you here have ill intent?

  293. Okay? No, you know what. The one thing I've learned.

  294. Through my years of ministry and years of being a

  295. human being on this earth, everybody has good in them.

  296. Everybody has good in them. Everybody wants to be successful, everybody.

  297. Everybody. When I say success, I'm not oh, you know

  298. you want to get a goods?

  299. No. No, everybody wants to do well. Everybody who wants to succeed,

  300. like everybody. Nobody wants to fail. And nobody starts off

  301. taking I'm starting to I'm starting so I can fail. No,

  302. nobody everybody. That is my basis of looking at people. Now, however,

  303. everybody got in my language, everybody got bad habits, everybody

  304. got your own vices or so some people will say,

  305. and that's life, and we want to encourage everybody to grow.

  306. Amen, like you guys catch me.

  307. So when we talk about things, don't think it as oh,

  308. you know you're talking about me. No, no, no, no, we're

  309. talking about your vices. We're talking about your bad habits.

  310. We're not talking about you. You're a good person, right,

  311. because if you're not good person, and then no point

  312. talking to you, know, right. So, so don't get offenders

  313. so fast. Cannot don't take offense so fast.

  314. You know.

  315. The one thing that you shouldn't take a lot is offense. Right,

  316. it's very well suffering. One recently I had to counsel

  317. someone right, took offense over something.

  318. Three years.

  319. Three years are same issue, you know, and then manifests

  320. in different areas now and then I'm like, wow, he

  321. just went back there from day one, and I'm like,

  322. just forgive, la, just forgive. Thankfully it ended well. Now

  323. the persons happy. You can see in the facer lifted.

  324. So don't see me the offense. Gay, amen? So what

  325. will stop us? Well, you might not like this word comfort.

  326. We are creatures of comfort.

  327. I too far? La, well, design I cannot before? Oh yeah,

  328. too long?

  329. Lah, it's too boring, not funny enough. No, No, this

  330. doesn't suit me. No, it doesn't s it's not my thing. Okay,

  331. comfort comfort, comfort can really mess us up.

  332. You know.

  333. I notice because IOSO have been there and the and

  334. the thing about us is that we constantly look for comfort.

  335. And it's fine, that's the way we are wired. But

  336. we're talking about giving our best. I'm not saying comfort

  337. is bad now, guys, I'm just saying what can stop you?

  338. Because if that becomes god, if comfort becomes God, then

  339. every single thing you do will be towards comfort. Get

  340. what I mean. So I'm not talking about comfort bad. No, no, no, comfort,

  341. it's actually good. Please wear comfortable clothes, stay in a

  342. comfortable house, do all these things?

  343. Right?

  344. But but is it God? Is it the main? Do

  345. you do you evaluate everything according to this? Because if

  346. you do, it's very dangerous.

  347. Not for me, no for you know. Okay, Well, the

  348. next thing is I try and put everything in seas. Okay.

  349. The next thing that can stop you? Is change more

  350. like spare change?

  351. Or?

  352. Do I have lever?

  353. You know you're not giving your best when you're just

  354. looking for change, right, you're just looking for changes only.

  355. I'm so busy ready, Okay, I'll just give you this

  356. little bit. You know how many of you would love

  357. to have that it's just an afterthought? You are just

  358. an afterthought? Do you know that you are not just

  359. an afterthought? And gosts eyes? Do you know that he

  360. loves you? Do you know that his sacrifices son for you?

  361. You're not an afterthought?

  362. Now? Then? Why is God enough to thought to us? Sometimes?

  363. Hey, when I'm sharing this thing, I also feel you know,

  364. because I am like that again, I'm human being as well. Okay,

  365. change or this word sound very nice one? Okay, but

  366. I just put you here. Commitments Huh? Isn't commutment good?

  367. I'm committed to my wife. Yes, yes, yes, it's good.

  368. But other commitments can also affect us giving our best

  369. for God. We talk about God being taught first, first priority, right,

  370. But when there's something else as a first priority, then

  371. you're committed something else. So the Bible is very clear,

  372. so you can alserve two masters. It's either God or Memon.

  373. You choose, you know, we have to choose so other

  374. communers can affect it. I'm too busy. There's something important

  375. I you to do. Nothing wrong with our friends, nothing wrong,

  376. But it's that top in your life. That's something you

  377. got to consider because if it is that has become

  378. God to you, love people.

  379. Don't catch that. Oh no, mind sill come to church.

  380. I still believe in Jesus. Yes, yes you do.

  381. But our actions speak very loud. And I'm not saying

  382. that now so that you can go and look at people. No,

  383. I'm saying that so that you can look at yourself.

  384. I check my action and why I do. It'll be

  385. hard to check other people. No, because you can't see

  386. us in your heart. So please don't go and do that.

  387. But I'm saying the actions because then you can see

  388. your own actions. What have you been practicing? You without realizing?

  389. Right? That might be? Where or God is you get?

  390. I mean? Right? Well?

  391. Another thing that can stop you is complaints. This I

  392. don't know when you explainer complaints? How many of you

  393. have met a person that complains all the time? Find

  394. or not a person that complains all the time? Do

  395. you think they will give their best. Do you think

  396. will they will give their best? I mean you be

  397. the judge number five, okay, and this is the last

  398. time for me, don't you. You can add your on list,

  399. but I would encourage you to think about how to

  400. give your best and not how not to give your best.

  401. So I'm just giving us thoughts so that we can

  402. think about it a bit. I put here combat trauma. Uh,

  403. none of us are in have been sold just before

  404. combat trauma? Right past bad experiences with church, with leaders.

  405. With Christians.

  406. But why is that got to do with God? Well,

  407. let me go into scripture. So let's start with this,

  408. how do I give God my best?

  409. How? Well?

  410. I would like to rephrase this question because he will

  411. help you a little bit more because if we ask

  412. how to give God my best? Then something very hard

  413. to internalize. But if we ask the question, how do

  414. I love God the best? It makes it very clearly.

  415. You'll catch it, right, So it starts with love first,

  416. Do we love God or not?

  417. Yes? No?

  418. Because with that simple question he will determine everything else

  419. that comes after. Right, and there's a decision you have

  420. to decide. Nobody's going to force you to decide that decision.

  421. You will have to decide because your expression of love

  422. is unique, and your expression of love towards the Lord,

  423. it is something you will do. If you love something

  424. else more than God, then that will take more of

  425. your time. There will be something that will be priority.

  426. Is how we work, Okay, Right, that's the first motivation.

  427. It is very hard to give your best to someone

  428. or something if you don't love them.

  429. It is very hard. Have you been in love before? Friends?

  430. Have you?

  431. I was just talking to a leader just now, and

  432. you're talking about how you know fresh, young, green smelling couples. No,

  433. not a couple of ye couple. I'm so excited to

  434. talk to each.

  435. Other every day.

  436. Right. For those of you here are married, you remember

  437. the first time the girl that you like that's now

  438. your wife. Okay, girl that you like that's not your wife? Please,

  439. there's nothing about it, Okay, how it works last time?

  440. Right?

  441. It's as we love. There's something I learned in marriage

  442. that's very important. Communication, right, couples married couples. Communication. There's

  443. another important one thing I learned. Sometimes we love the

  444. way we want to be loved. Corner, we love someone

  445. the way we want to be loved, but because all

  446. of us have different love languages, we try our best

  447. to love someone the way we will do it, the

  448. way we like it. But actually that person doesn't feel love.

  449. Does that make sense to your The guy say a

  450. single here, girls, says a singer. I'm giving you a tipes,

  451. so you better write this down.

  452. So effectively.

  453. If you want to love someone, you gotta love the

  454. way the person will feel love. You gotta love the

  455. way the person will feel love. You'll catch there not

  456. because if you keep trying to love, Oh, you know,

  457. I like to be serviced, so I will keep sinking person.

  458. But this person loves word or affirmation. And then suddenly

  459. you have a you know, power town hall meeting husband

  460. and wife, and then your wife will say, oh, I

  461. don't you don't love me anymore? You used to buy flowers?

  462. And then the husband's lie, But I serve you every day.

  463. I give you everything, I give you my life. I

  464. work so hard five five five for fight, and then

  465. and then chicken talking to that and then they you know,

  466. they stressity, they go and see pasta ma elin and

  467. then pass alien because they're not emotionally you know, connected

  468. to the situation.

  469. They're like are you guys hearing yourself and then passed.

  470. I have to tell the guy, why don't you say

  471. I love you your wife? Every day?

  472. And then anyone say why don't you start cutting fruits

  473. for him in the morning? You know, and then suddenly

  474. suddenly it's changed. Doesn't mean that they don't love each other. No,

  475. they still love each other. It's just that the expression

  476. is not clicking. You understand that. Okay, none of you

  477. are getting me this morning. Good morning everyone. I hope

  478. you understand. So unless I start the American you're like,

  479. oh no, no, no, you find all the type. Okay,

  480. go back and practice. It's kay.

  481. Do you know that it's the same with God. Do

  482. you know that it's the same with God. Let's read scripture? Yeah,

  483. can you read scripture?

  484. He says, John fourteen fifteen eighteen says, if you love me,

  485. keep my commandments?

  486. Friends, are you reading what I'm reading? If you love me,

  487. who's meaning God?

  488. Right? Keep my commandments out? Ooh, and I will pray

  489. the Father and he will give you another helper. Oh, okay,

  490. who's this help of the Holy Spirit? That he may

  491. abide with you forever, the spirit of truth whom the

  492. world cannot receive because he neither sees him nor knows him.

  493. Do you know this points right important? The world cannot

  494. receive because it neither sees him or knows him. That

  495. is why Christians, you are weird. People won't understand you.

  496. People won't get why you're so happy in times where

  497. it's stopped, because the helper is there to help you,

  498. and the world will not understand. So stop trying to

  499. be relevant to the world. Stop trying to fit in

  500. because you can't, especially if you have the Holy spray

  501. of you. That's where the frustration lizes. I feel sometimes.

  502. In fact, I would say, you have something better than

  503. the world has to offer, because you have peace, you

  504. have love. Are you catching something or that He neither

  505. sees him nor knows him, but you know him, for

  506. he dwells with you and will be in you. I

  507. will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.

  508. That's the promise from God. We will not be alone.

  509. If you're feeling alone, here, there's a life from the devil,

  510. because the helper is in you. If you have received Christ,

  511. the Holy spray is there, talk to him. Do you

  512. know that God will talk back? He will John fourteen

  513. you want to say, is he who has my commondness

  514. and keeps them? Is he who loves me out? And

  515. he who loves me will be loved by my father,

  516. and I will love him and manifest myself to him. Friends,

  517. you want to love God, it is quite simple. Keep

  518. his commandments. If you don't know what his commandments is,

  519. read it simple, not complicated. Oh God, I will sacrifice

  520. my life for you.

  521. Hello? Are you even keeping my commments? What you so? First? One?

  522. Sacrifice life? Chill?

  523. Love right, brother, chill? Are we even keeping his commments?

  524. Not think about it? How do we keep his commments?

  525. Well?

  526. Loving others? John twenty one, fifteen nineteen. Okay, let me

  527. read that. John twenty one, fifteen nineteen v Extually we

  528. can help me. I guys, okay, I realized when I

  529. appreciate everybody's really quiet wire, Am I too offensive?

  530. I'm so sorry if I am?

  531. You know?

  532. Noah? Okay, give me some assurance. Are guys.

  533. Sorry? Insecure? Insecure picture? I'm not as confident as fast me.

  534. I realize every time he said I would have to

  535. you know, check on him for fun? John John chapter

  536. twenty one. Okay, John twenty one, How Kenna.

  537. Is it there all right? Okay? Great fifteen to nineteen? Okay,

  538. say so.

  539. When they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon,

  540. son of Jonah, do you love me more than this?

  541. He said to him, Yes, Lord, you know that I

  542. love you. He said to him, So, if we love Jesus,

  543. what do we do? Find some lamb and make sure

  544. you feed it?

  545. Okay?

  546. So after this or you go go and look for

  547. a live lamb, buy and then feed the lamb. Then

  548. you love Jesus. Okay, we take God's it literally. Y'all

  549. know I'm joking. Right next, he said to him again

  550. a second time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?

  551. He said to him, Yes, Lord, you know that I

  552. love you. He said to him, ten my sheep. And

  553. next he said to him at that time, Simonson, Jnah,

  554. do you love me? Peter was grieved, or God, how

  555. many times? How many times must you ask me the

  556. same question?

  557. Don't you know? I love you?

  558. One John four nineteen twenty one says we love him

  559. because he first loved us. If someone says I love

  560. God and hates his brother, he is a liar, for

  561. he who does not love his brother whom he has seen.

  562. How can he love God whom he has not seen?

  563. And this commandment we have from him, that he who

  564. loves God must love his brother.

  565. Also. Friends, if you have offense in this place, deal

  566. with it.

  567. If someone here has offended you, someone someone else has

  568. offended you, please go and ask, Go and forgive the person.

  569. If you need to sort it out, sorted out.

  570. If you need to ask for forgiveness, ask for forgiveness,

  571. because it's very difficult to love God when there's unforgiveness

  572. in your heart. It could be unforgiveness or something very

  573. small said, something very very small, and we hold on

  574. to realize goal at it, and then we suffer the

  575. rest of our lives. Friends, I've seen how bitterness can

  576. cause unnecessary strife in the family. I'm a product of

  577. having people angry each other all the time, and I

  578. tell myself I don't want it ever again. I go

  579. from a very angry family, all very angry one angry

  580. for no reason. Why small thing was really a bit nonsense.

  581. Lave right. We got to love others. You want to

  582. love God, keep his commandments, love others.

  583. Oh, play people are cruel, They are horrible Ye're the

  584. worst on this earth. I know, and Jesus still loves you.

  585. You're also human, none of us ye are perfect. I'm

  586. also human. Jesus loves me because he.

  587. Loves me first. I can love other people because he

  588. loves me first. I can love other people. Amen. So

  589. keep his commandments and love others.

  590. Don't give God something that doesn't cost you. I think

  591. there's something we can learn from King David. King David

  592. is it a man after God's own heart. He knew

  593. how to give God his best. There was a story

  594. in the Bible, second Samuel twenty four where I think

  595. King David's sin because God asks him, don't do something.

  596. You can go and read yourself. Okay, it's second seven,

  597. chapter twenty four. So God asked King David not to

  598. count hit number his people. King number is people for

  599. whatever reason, maybe insecurity. And then God God actually brought

  600. like a plague to the land and kill a lot

  601. of people who know.

  602. And King David is like, why do you kill all

  603. my sheep? Right? Can you please punish me in stead?

  604. And God said, okay, I'm gonna you know, because God

  605. knows King David's heart. God gave King David an assignment

  606. and said, you need to build an altar, offer me sacrifices,

  607. and then you will stop.

  608. That's how you redeem yourself.

  609. And when King David was building the author and finding

  610. the items to you know, offer this sacrifice, he was

  611. in this place where there's this guy called Arona, the

  612. owner of the land. Friends, you know what the king is, right,

  613. you know what king is, Okay, only half of you know.

  614. The rest of you don't know a king is.

  615. Okay.

  616. I know my name is king, but it's not I'm

  617. not a king, okay, I'm a prince buty anyway, So

  618. he's king of all Israel. No, he can think whatever

  619. he wants. No, right, in fact, the lot of let's say, hey,

  620. you know, King, what are you doing? Can you can

  621. you just take and use whatever you want? Anything I have,

  622. go for it, and you're not King David's responds with

  623. he said. The King said to Rana, no, but I

  624. will surely buy it from you for a price. Nor

  625. will I offer burn offerings to the Lord, my God,

  626. with that which costs me nothing. So, friends, when you

  627. want to offer up something to the Lord, again, this

  628. might be very like how to say it requires some

  629. maturity to understand this. It gonna cost you something. If

  630. it doesn't cost you anything, it's not from you, you'll

  631. get it. Okay, I use this example. Uh, if you're

  632. a campus student. Okay, No, we tell we tell young guys.

  633. Guys are guys listener and girls listener. We tell young

  634. guys to say, you want to get a girlfriend, can

  635. don't use your father's money to take out for a date?

  636. Your catch? That your catch?

  637. That similar concept about value right. We want to give

  638. God our best right. You got to cost us right

  639. if it doesn't cost you, is your best? Think about it? Friends, again,

  640. I'm not asking you, okay after Lisa, some of you

  641. might go straight away because of the combat trauma in Churchia.

  642. You might immediately think, okay after this per seveway's gonna

  643. take an offering. Guys, I'm not doing any of that.

  644. I'm talking about our relationship we've got. How are we

  645. giving to God? How are we giving? Are we giving

  646. our best? So don't give God something that doesn't cost you?

  647. Give God what you have your catch that give God?

  648. Yet because you see when we talk giving your best right,

  649. I've had this conversation before, and maybe let me be

  650. a bit more honest with you, the stage, the worship team.

  651. I've had this conversation before with a young person and

  652. passe alwyn.

  653. We must give got our best, so we must buy

  654. the most expensive sound system.

  655. We must get the most expensive problem the most so

  656. the church must invest in all this most expensive.

  657. Day so they can give God our best. Good thought,

  658. right makes sense? Right? You mean.

  659. When we only have one guitar, we cannot give got

  660. our best? You mean when we only have a cajon

  661. we can all give our best? What does that mean?

  662. You know? Friends?

  663. Maybe I'm older now. Maybe if I was younger, I

  664. will still think the same way, But now I don't.

  665. I think giving got your best is not just about

  666. a million dollar sound system. I think giving got your

  667. best Again, if God blesses us, and can I clarify,

  668. if really the Lord has blessed the church right with

  669. a million dollars as you praise the lalla, then we

  670. can use it. But if you ask me again, I'm

  671. not the one managing funds at all. But if you

  672. ask me, if you have a million dollars in church,

  673. where would you rather go? I think it will make

  674. sense to go permissions? Okay, because you want to go

  675. and worship God in heaven. I think Heaven has the

  676. best sound system. So again I can argue until the

  677. cows come home. Okay, because none of us here or whatever.

  678. But the principle of giving God your best does not

  679. rely on what you don't have. It only relies on

  680. what you have. You'll get that, so don't be deceived.

  681. I can only give God my best when I have

  682. the Mercedes car. Then I can start driving people around.

  683. I can only cook for Daniel when my kitchen is renovated.

  684. Prior to this, the past ten years, I cannot cook

  685. for Daniel. I don't have a good enough ovan. My

  686. kitchen is not good enough. I can only cook Maggie

  687. me in it. Daniel have seen how I gave the

  688. home their best. And I did it not because I

  689. want to prove well. I did because improved a point.

  690. But I did it because I wanted to show the

  691. campus students what giving God your best means. And I'll

  692. tell you why I did their kitchen, and I've learned

  693. a very important lesson. A campers student kitchen has nothing.

  694. No, no, he's not his right.

  695. I remember going and we did homes and I was

  696. like Okay, you know, I just brought the ingredients friends

  697. to cut tomatosa. It took us one hour because the

  698. knife was blunt and the chopping was so small. We

  699. started homes at ninth right, what could have been done

  700. in an hour with proper kitchen agreement to a long time,

  701. I thought myself, no way, next week going to be different.

  702. The next home is going to be different. It was

  703. just a one thing, and I said, what would be

  704. nice to bless sea? I was even thinking about logic

  705. or you know, very math fun Now I was just like, okay,

  706. what will bless the cameras?

  707. Doudent?

  708. What will show them that Holmes is the greatest place

  709. on this earth? And I'll do my best. And when

  710. I when I'm doing food, I want to give my best,

  711. no matter what I have. So I brought my oven

  712. and I roast a chicken for them, and I think

  713. from that day onwards we had a lot of express

  714. So people come out from there or so. I don't

  715. know why, maybe the way inspired or whatever. I've never

  716. joy express. Okay, what am I trying to tell you?

  717. Friends?

  718. Giving God your best does not rely on what you

  719. don't have. It relies solely on what you have. In

  720. the Bible, it talks about the lady with the two mice.

  721. She gave everything to everyone is like, oh, you know

  722. so little. You know, look at all the wonderful people

  723. that gave more money, and Christ said, truly, I say

  724. to you that this poor widow has put in more

  725. than all. Let me share with you a testimony now

  726. end because I knew God. I've actually got two more points.

  727. But I probably won't cover it now. I don't know

  728. whether i'll cover it, you know, So maybe we go

  729. through the picture of my car and okay, I'll share

  730. with you and friends. I'm not sharing to boast, and

  731. if I boss, it is to boast how wonderful God

  732. is in my life. I'm sharing because take it from me.

  733. If I'm going to preach it to you, I have

  734. to walk the talk first. That's why I share with you. Yeah,

  735. that's me and my wife by the time you're married.

  736. So I used to drive this my first car, actually right,

  737. and I love this car best car ever. When bank

  738. people people cry, I don't cry on Okay, it's a proton.

  739. It's a hashbag and I don't know why my dad

  740. when he buys car from here, he thinks. He probably

  741. thinks I like the color. He made sure he got

  742. a lime green metallic isara. You can spot it a

  743. mile away. Why, I don't know, right, And I dropped

  744. this car for many years, right, And what happened was,

  745. you know, I got married, and of course Jess had

  746. the own car. She has a wonderful car called the Arthos,

  747. which I until today I really really detest.

  748. And I have my car which I love.

  749. And it was twenty ten an ex Church was going

  750. to get this new building and we needed to raise funds.

  751. We needed to raise the ten percent. The building costed

  752. thirteen million ringate and we were going to build a

  753. great building for the Lord, right and then of course

  754. fast the belief and creation. And we raised up the

  755. funds okay, right, one point three million ring it to

  756. get the building. You know, and you know, if you've

  757. been extra strong enough for those of you who are you,

  758. I want to clarify this. We are a chich of faith.

  759. We don't have big dato startings backing someone. The biggest

  760. doato we have is got That's how we operate, That's

  761. how our passes operate. You can go and read the story. Okay,

  762. So I'm not gonna go to the I'm gonna talk

  763. about my part so excited that everybody talked how twenty

  764. ten was also the year that I just got married.

  765. And for those of you who don't know, I'm full time. Okay,

  766. the law has come me full time. So therefore maybe

  767. certain things I don't have the luxury of certain things

  768. really have to live by faith loaer okay, may not

  769. have a lot of things right, and God has been.

  770. Good so far.

  771. I wanted to give, but I had nothing I wanted

  772. to give, or so sow and give behind nothing and

  773. nothing literally and just got married. No, So I'm like how,

  774. And of course my wife she gave, and different ones gave,

  775. and I said, Lord, what can I give? And then

  776. he showed me this car, and I'm like, god, you

  777. know that I got no car. Right after this, he said,

  778. you asked me right what you want to give? I'm

  779. like okay, And then married, MA can still ask the wife. Yeah,

  780. I didn't got asked me to give my car away. See,

  781. by the time, my wife knows me already, okay, she

  782. knows how to operate, and she trusts me. And she

  783. said I was hoping. She said, huh, yeah, we just

  784. got married. No, Lah, don't give your car away. We

  785. need it because we have to drive to work and

  786. all just one can know enough. Instead, she said, dear,

  787. you've got us to do it. Do it, Lah, and

  788. I hallelujah. So I went look for a buyer and friends,

  789. this guy is an old carnel. It's like an old car.

  790. It's like probably second third.

  791. You know.

  792. I sold it for three thousand, and I gave everything

  793. to the building fund. How I wish, I can tell you. Oh,

  794. and then the lot provided suddenly someone came here past Elvin.

  795. This is key to my new BMW. I wish, I

  796. wish anyway, if any of you feel like to do

  797. that now. Nothing happened. I gave got my best. Nothing happened.

  798. Long story shot, we didn't get the building. Foolish right,

  799. foolish right?

  800. But do you know that?

  801. And and I and I can say this confidently because

  802. I've been with the church long enough. A lot of

  803. just when they go to a building fund and things

  804. like this happened right normally, the just split one actually

  805. didn't split because we all knew and believed that God

  806. called us for it, But somehow we didn't get it.

  807. Do you know what happened after we lost the building?

  808. You know, normally lose the building, EDDI, then oh you know,

  809. let's tach it. Do you know what happened after we

  810. lost a building? And can I tell you it was

  811. a downtime for the rest of us? Are for Passa

  812. Kennep as well. He was very honest to share on stage,

  813. but got ministered to him. God told him you wanted it,

  814. but that was not my plan for you. You know,

  815. it was God's plan for us now fifteen twenty years later,

  816. fifteen years later, Yeah, this is God's plan church planting movement. Guys,

  817. if we've gotten the building now, I will still probably

  818. doing XTEV.

  819. You know.

  820. We didn't, but that's not the point. So I gave

  821. God my best. But we lost a building anyway. But

  822. I wasn't unhappy or angry because I knew it was

  823. from God. Nobody, friends, nobody coaxed me. Pasta didn't come

  824. and say, hey, Elvin, what can you give her? No,

  825. no one I wanted to. I say, God, you speak

  826. to me.

  827. This is unto you. No one, this problem my own problem.

  828. And of course I'm married. Me and my wife's problem.

  829. Gave and of course I was praying with her, Lord,

  830. please give me a car, Please give me a car,

  831. Please give me a car.

  832. I didn't get a car. We dropped my wife's car

  833. for a while. Not just that.

  834. I the time she was working in where she was

  835. working near Ika, I was working to Subang. We're saying

  836. quota company. I think God was already training me to

  837. plant xtpday that time. Ready, because right every morning, with

  838. one car, I will drive her all the way to

  839. the office in Ikia, I mean in the area. Maybe

  840. maybe I was training me for KT or so all

  841. the way for two years our friends two years, drive

  842. all the way there, drop her off, drive to Subang.

  843. Do you know my how many gems are there? Right?

  844. And then after that finish work, drive back to pick

  845. up and then go home in Charlah. One and a

  846. half hours on the road every day.

  847. One way. I did it willingly. No, it's the day

  848. of like, oh, I would never do that again. Of course,

  849. during the.

  850. Time we were newly married, and I'm sharing this to

  851. some friends and I say, hey, I remember, I think

  852. it was the first man marriage. And then they asked

  853. me because we had separate car, separate plan, right and asked,

  854. where's your wife?

  855. I said, actually, I don't know.

  856. I don't know, as my wife was a very independent,

  857. but that that period of time, it kind of forced

  858. us to communicate, like you know, so we got like

  859. schedule to plan and I did it and it actually

  860. helped our communication way better. So I really am thankful

  861. for that season, although it was painful. And then later

  862. on what happened was I remember and I remember, I'm

  863. thinking a bit more time.

  864. Okay.

  865. Remember I share with you once that my wife has

  866. a spirit of discernment. I believe that when she dreams

  867. about something, it happens. So this is where the testimony

  868. gets interesting. So one day, so of course we were like, oh,

  869. should be buy a car? You know, her car is

  870. like not, won't be able to survive this kind of drive.

  871. And then one day we were like one day suddenly

  872. and she woke up. Now she said, year, I don't

  873. know why, I feel like We're gonna get a Toyota

  874. ViOS silver color. And I'm like, huh why so specific

  875. and the time we were kind of looking for a

  876. CARDI we didn't budget, you know, something that is you know,

  877. wrote worthy for the family just two hours and Ema

  878. some family that we can drive to Penang and come

  879. back and stuff like that easily. So I'm like, okay, yeah,

  880. of course that died. I didn't know that she has

  881. this gifting, right, And I'm like whatever, okay. And then

  882. two weeks later and all Elk regular car. So he

  883. was helping us fine. And then I told el K

  884. about this that He's like, oh okay, And I remember

  885. we had a potential car, and I started looking for her.

  886. I mean since my wife said myself, just going look like,

  887. start looking for Toyota with yours, but don't care about

  888. the color. And then somehow the lot opened the door

  889. for us to get this car. It was a good price.

  890. We went and see the car. Both of us saw

  891. it was the color that she described and we were shocked.

  892. He fit our budget. It was slightly below market rate

  893. for this car. And guys, can I tell you I

  894. love this car. This guy is an awesome car.

  895. Okay.

  896. I would recommend anybody to buy these views, not the

  897. new one new want a bit too heavy? Design is

  898. quite cool. You can drive like that around the road, okay.

  899. And this was our family car for a while until

  900. we got our current car. And the reason why the

  901. old it is is because that's my grandma. I was

  902. looking for photos of the crator de'side. The only photo

  903. I got off the isra can you turn back? It

  904. was only that part because I didn't take photo of

  905. my car that one I found online. Okay, so that

  906. you know what, so that you know how it looks like.

  907. Then the picture after that, can you see the bitch

  908. after that? So there's my actual car in my house.

  909. And then my grandma. She's the type, but I think

  910. she created Adobe Photoshop before it was created a lot

  911. because you know, she has like albums of photos with

  912. and somehow my grandma liked to take photo of car

  913. and house with us standing in front of it. So

  914. I make sure to find this, you know, my wife

  915. and me and got provided. He didn't provide like some

  916. amazing give me a khaki, No, but God provided. God

  917. provided incrementally. I won't be able to go to detail

  918. a lot, but he just provided we were able to

  919. afford the car.

  920. We drop his car.

  921. For a long time. I really really loved this car

  922. until the problem. We want to release. I'm like, I

  923. feel really like said I want to let go of.

  924. Friends.

  925. Why am I trying to tell you this, and of

  926. course I think. I mean, if I want to share

  927. with you every single time the Lord has blessed me,

  928. I won't be able to go be you readier. But

  929. I still believe in giving up my best, and that

  930. is a very I learned from this church. Friends, when

  931. you give got your best, he will not short change you.

  932. He will never Sometimes we shot change ourself because we

  933. hold back, and then we ask, go, wh why why

  934. why didn't you.

  935. No?

  936. If the Lord has asked you to do something, to

  937. do it? And if God is your first love, if

  938. God is the one that's talked, then he should be taught,

  939. not second, third.

  940. Fourth, fifth.

  941. Can I share if you're a simple thing that y'all

  942. can do, even starting next week when we meet for worship,

  943. and maybe actually you can come up reading when we

  944. meet for worship here on a Sunday. Do you know

  945. that worship is not for you? We're not putting Daniel

  946. here and then we all worship him. Now, we're not

  947. putting Iran here and we alwayship him.

  948. No, worship is for God.

  949. Can I encourage your friends? I think the simplest thing

  950. you can do, the simplest thing, and I know somethings.

  951. It's difficult for Okay, I'm not gonna argue, but I

  952. think the simplest thing you can do to give God

  953. your best.

  954. Is to offer up your worship to him. It's just that.

  955. Then once you come in too that, once you do that,

  956. see how God moves in your life. He might touch

  957. other things, he might move other things, He might reveal

  958. other things to you. He might create other things. But

  959. the first time is us. Have we taken God for granted?

  960. I'm not telling you here so that I can get

  961. punctual attendance for experience. You know, I'm telling you here

  962. because I know for a fact, I know true life

  963. experience that when you give God your best and you

  964. honor him, he will take care of you. Do you

  965. know that the more I encourage you to believe in

  966. God and serve Him, and all the less work I

  967. have as a pastor, It's funny, right, It's true, because

  968. thank God, meanises you're not me, and I love that

  969. because who knows how long more we have this opportunity

  970. to stand here? Who knows how long more we have

  971. this opportunity to leadership praying for you? Now you know

  972. you can come here from prayer. Do you think this

  973. would be forever?

  974. Friends?

  975. Jesus coming soon now? Hello, look at what's happening, and

  976. here we are still living life like nothing's happening.

  977. Friends. Time to grow, time to mature, time to experience

  978. all that the Lord has for your life. But it

  979. starts sweep you. Amen.

  980. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
