All right, So I'm continuing on this series on the

seven churches in the Book of Revelations. How many of

you caught at least the first three churches before? Yeah, okay,

some of you are not. If you follow me. Sometimes

I go to different churches. I go through with some

of you. I see some familiar faces who also I

see some other maybe bu or other places. You will

probably catch this series. But now we are covering the

seven churches on church number four, the church in Thyatira. Okay,

and this is a good one. Okay. I really need

you guys to open your bible. We're gonna go through.

We're gonna read through the scripture first, and then after

that I'm gonna go through line by line, Okay, as

much as I can. There's a lot of things. I

hope you'll take your have your notebooks with you as well. Okay.

Revelations Chapter two. I'm gonna read here from verse eighteen

all the way to verse twenty nine. Hey, verse eighteen

to verse twenty nine, and the title here says the

corrupt Church. Oh, it's Okay, So God also visits the

corrupt churches also. Oh, he doesn't just visit one church,

second another church, good church is only No, he also

visits the corrupt churches as well. So if your corrupt

church as well, God has a word for you as well. Oh,

so strong the word. Okay, let's learn about this. Okay,

let's learn and not you know what it means for

us our own lives, our own families. Okay, it's not

just worth church, it's for our own families as well.

And how to reinspect your own hearts. You know, where

are you? You know, so that we're not judging with

our own ruler, but according to the measure that God

like in a way, you know, implying certain things. Okay,

But then he says, not just about the title, but

the attributes of the Son of God. Okay. I always

told you if every letter is not just about what

it writes, it's about how Jesus introduces himself. The way

that Jesus introduces himself. Give us fifty percent of what

Jesus is trying to give us, fifty percent of the

message that Jesus is trying to convey to the church

and the revelation that the church needs. Okay, how Jesus

reveals is what you need in your life. Okay. So

how did Jesus review himself as the one who has

eyes like the flame of fire and his feet like

fine brass. Let's continue reading, okay, And I say say,

I know your works love, service, faith, and your patience.

And as for your works, the last are more than

the first, means you are doing more than your previous thing. Nevertheless,

I have a few things against you, because you allow

that woman Jezebel, who calls her self a prophetess, to

teach and seduce my servants, to commit sexual immorality and

eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time

to repair of her sexual immorality immorality, and she did

not repent. Indeed, I will cast her into a sick bed,

and also commit adultry with her into great tribulation. Unless

the repent of her deeds, of their deeds, I will

kill her children with death. And all the churches shall

know that I am here who searches the minds and hearts.

And I will give to each one of you according

to your works. Now to you, I say, and to

the rest in Thioteria, as many as do not have

this doctrine, who do not know the depths, as who

have not known the depths of Satan. As they say,

I will put on you no other bird burden. But

hold fast what you have till I come. And he

who overcomes and keeps my works until the end, to

him I will give power over the nations. He shall

him hear what the spirit says to the churches, Oh strong,

how to preach this one long? This is a lot

of things to be unpacked here, But when we read

the Bible, we cannot choose one and we neglect the other.

We must read every single thing. We must know every

single thing. And this is a very actually a very

important passage for us to understand who God is, to

understand how we live our lives and what God, God

expects of our lives. Very very very important because a

lot of times we only know Jesus as the lover

of our soul. You know, there's only one version of Jesus,

Jesus the Lover of my soul, and nothing else. Jesus

loves me. Jesus loves me, you know, I mean, we

only know one. We only know one version. But any

other thing I'm with cross our eyes. No, no, no, no, no,

only one version Jesus loved my soul. We only sing

that song on it, okay. But here God reveals himself, okay,

as the Son of God, and it starts office saying,

who has the eyes like a flame of fire and

his feet like fine brass? Or in other versions it's

called feet with bronze on all days gone through fire?

Does it mean that Jesus comes and shoots fires and

Let's go into it. What does it actually mean? Now?

First of all, you must know the author. Who the author?

The author is, of course, the human author is John. Okay.

John has a certain type of writing that he tends

to link Old Testament with New Testament. Again, that's his

spouting like a fire. You know, it could be what

he saw a what's a modern day tank? But he

couldn't describe it because if you imagine if you were

in the olden times, if you see a tanker, what

would you describe it? Something with wheels they can move

and then shout out a bullet. You know, what do

you call it? So the only thing that can relate

to is that call it a dragon, but it's actually

a tank. But they can call it a tank because

that term has not existed time. But in this case,

what John Day was to refer a lot to the

Old Testament. Now the eyes like a flame of fire.

What does it actually mean, it does not mean literally

shooting up fire. What it means is that, okay, that

Jesus is the only one who is able to burn

all things, to remove all things, and to reveal all things. Okay,

the burning is not just to burn? Ah burn? Why burn?

The burning is always to reveal. Well, when we think

about burning, we think about burning forests, we think about

burning house. But a lot of times burning is about

refining as well. If I give you you know, you

collect something from the soil, you want to refine, goal

or you want to refine, find what is the imperities?

eyes like a flame of fire refers to Jesus himself

being able to see everything. Now, when you think about

eyes like a flaming of fire, you think something like

meant to strike fear into the heart of everyone because imagine,

I mean, if God is here right now, how would

you feel right now and God is appearing right in

front of you? Would you be standing up here right now?

If I tell you there's a one there's a very famous,

a very powerful prophet who walks into the door and

wants to come up to the stage and starts to

want to come and pray for you. How many of

you want to be prayed for right now? I'm not

sure whether half will want to be prayed for. Some

of you will be very scared. You know why, because

you're scared. They know your sins. You be fearful. Some

of your God come into my life. You say, it's true,

you won't go into your life like I said, You

only want the Jesus lever of my soul version, you know.

But the Jesus who sees everything with eyes like a

flame of fire. You will be terrified because he sees

through every single thing, every every lie, every disguise, every excuse,

every desire you justify with. He will see through everything. Yeah,

me right, And that's why it's terrifying, terrifying in the

end of days. Uh, God doesn't have to do anything.

God doesn't have to show any miracles are just by

his presence along. People cannot stand him because they know this.

He sees everything. You know what I mean, right, Everything

your words mean nothing, all your powers mean nothing. His eyes,

like a flame of fire, will burn through everything and

see through the depths of your soul, you know. It's

it's like exactly. You know, when Abraham when he met

that three strangers by the in the in the cool

of the day, by the terriantry he was resting, or

he just got circumcised, he was like, oh, recovery and

tree strangers there, well, after second you still ran it

of go ahead, receive the fellow you know injur also

still received. Then the tree strangers came into the tenter

and then asked where is your wife or on the

other side in the tent as well. And then when

they told him that, hey, you by this time of

the year next year you will have a son and

you shall call him Isaac, what did Sarah do? She disbelieved,

you know, and laughed. And then the stranger asked, why

did Sarah laugh? Then Sarah got shot because she got

found through you know, physically and also spiritually found us exposed,

you know, she said, I did not laugh? Then what

got What did the strangers say? But you did laugh?

So God is revealing himself as the one who see

said knows everything. You know. We like now, we like

to when we asked we all ourselves we are simple.

We like to deflect, isn't it. Hey, let's don't talk

about me and let's talk about you. Let's talk come mean,

let's talk about other people who are corrupt. Let's talk

about me, and let's talk about the pastors, the Christians,

the other leaders pointed other people before you talk about yourself,

because it's easier to point at others mistakes and inferiority

than talk about yourself, isn't it. But God wants to

deal with you right now. What I told you today's

a time of bronze. There's copper, there is iron. Before iron,

there was the age of bronze. So people were using

bronze for tools and everything as well. And bronze is

actually always depict one not money, No bronze to the

break strength and power always, So when you read the

Bible and you talk about bronze, it's always about power

and strength. Now why at the feet because when your

enemies are at your feet means for the person you

have conquered. And when you conquer you have absolute power, judgment,

and you are the decider of the fate. You get

to render whatever that you decide, leave or die, you know,

especially when the enemy is on the floor already you decide.

Most of the time when you go to war, you're

number one Bible dropper. Of course you not to get killed.

But one of the things is that you never lose

your footing. Once you're at the ground, you drop ready.

You are very likely to die because you lost all

your advantages already. That's why when you wear sandals they

have spikes. You know, they cannot lose their footing. Yeah,

I mean, but the spies are also used for a

and seduce my servants, to commit sexual immorality, and eat

things sacrificed to idols. So clearly we see here the

second verse, here that Jesus, whose eyes like a flame

of fire, what he knows your works, The eyes like

a flame of fire will see the good will see

also they're not so good as well. Whatever that you're doing,

he knows, and he knows the scale all your good works.

He knows that your previous one is your your latest

good works is actually even better than your formal ones.

As well. He does know. He knows the scale, you know,

he knows the magnitude you all, how much it costs you,

What is the impact of what you do? As well?

He knows God measures everything more than we can even imagine.

You know, your thoughts and your good works are people.

God knows why now, what you give today, what you

give this year and last year. God knows right or wrong,

it's between you and him. But God knows. And so

when we start to go into detail what it starts

to change our perception about who God is. It's not

just the level of our soul is that's good. But

He's a God who sees and measures, you know, who

knows and measures, who is aware of every single thing

your good works. He knows your hair, he knows your dreams,

he knows your fears, he knows everything that you do

as well. And that has implication, you know, you know what.

That type of none of God has implications because it

changes our behavior. It changes suddenly put into our heart

that there is a reality of God that measures everything.

And when you start to realize that everything in your

life gets measured, you behave differently. When you go to worker.

Most of the time you know it, the bosses leave

you to do your own work, but you start to

behave differently when your both knows every minute what you do.

If you're work, you realize it's a completely different game.

You know you go to work different. Really, Oh, I

better make sure that I got to a letter five

minutes and not just for one and a half hour

to a letter. You know what I'm saying. And it's

a completely different game. You know, I'm not saying about

I'm not judging anyone. We've all been there before. We

all are fleshy, we all have things that we want

to take advantage off one. But knowing that God sees

and measures changes our hearts, you know, And there is

an appropriate fear of God that we should all have

in our lives. You get me, right, Oh, how can

we associate the love of God if you know the

Bible speaks differently? Grandmy, And that's why you must read

the entire Bible, not just John three sixteen. One. No,

that's the only God. You know, there's what a lot

Christians John three sixteen. But then you don't read relationship

the spirit of Jezebel, But technically the Bible doesn't say

the spirit of Jezebel. Okay, so we got to be

very careful. Oh you have the spirit of Jezebel. I'm

gonna be careful. You can say that things are not

of God like, okay, but be careful if you're wording

like because spirit of Jezebel. Oh, then the demon says, oh,

did you know that's my name? I do know that's

my name. But it's definitely some things are definitely demonic,

some things that are definitely evil. But you don't simply

call because you're so one character trait you have a

spirit of Jezebel. Please don't do that. Your one brotherly

and sister leader here, okay, just because he see PASSAMETSI

have to understand. She calls herself a prophetess kind of

powerful because uh, the first attribute that you have to

learn is that she will disguise herself. Okay, she will

disguise herself Isabel in the in the Book, in the

in the in the Second Kings in the Old Testament

was a queen. In No, she will not come to

you as someone who is the money, looks like a witch.

She will not look like that at all. She will

even look like a Christian. You know she will look

even look like a prophet and not displaying very powerful

words and not can teach very well, can even predict

things or can even decipher the world of God are

and tell you certain things in the right way or

one not. The first thing is this, guys, she so

powerful shake she could appear in the king's court having

lead people into idolatry. And her strategy okay, not in

to watch in the Old Testament in the New Testament

that are vulnerable. How many of you watch a movie

the other religion. They're very very powerful, okay. And there's

spread disbelief or influence people. And you know what she said,

start with the weaker ones whoa It's like, you're scary

because you can't identify with real life. You know, people

who are vulnerable, people who were very impressionable. And you

see this not just and they're smart because if you

look at history, a lot of tyrants from World War

two to Germany to Hitler, they do these things as well.

You know when worl War started, when Hitler and the Nazis.

When they started, what did they do? They started with

her you and what did he said? What was the

famous quot whoever owns the you owns the future. So

their soldiers were made up of young people, and families

were more than happy to send the young people thinking

they were serving Germany. Did you know that they were

doing under They were being led by a vicious man.

Young people, very very young people people. So they were

always I'm not saying that young people are are just

weaker hosts, but they will always look for anyone. Why

because young people want to worship something well true or not.

Young people want to worship something. Okay, I was young.

I want to worship something. I want to idolize something.

I want to follow something. I want to become something

like that. So you look for a role model, whoever

it is to follow, to give your energy, your strength,

your focus, to be the next you know, TikTok or

YouTube superstar. To earn that million without going to a

single university. How howmy students we have here? Is there

your dream? Huh? Come out? You don't get rich up

when you work. You get rich before you get out

of college. That's what lot of students want, isn't it

get rich? So they already I know and I know

students are who ready started crypto and started all these

investing things. Are in college times are and they use

their tubition moneys. And when they come out of college,

they got into more debt. So instead of starting from zero,

they start with a negative ten in their life because

bad choices. Some of you that you know what I'm

talking about, that by its true that it's true. But

if you see the pattern of a queen of this

Jezebel in the in the Book of Kings, in the

second Kings, she started with King ahem ahep was already

weak king and the very disobedient king, evil King and

Queen Jessepea just happens to be the same time, same place,

targeting the weak host. They want a weak host. And

so when you understand that, you understand your own life.

How you are made vulnerable when you are in a very,

when you're made vulnerable, when your lives are not submitted

to God. You know, the opposite of being wig and

being vulnerable is submission, because why submission, Because when you're submitted,

the enemy knows there is a king in the city

you can mean. Right, the people may be wig but

the king is strong. You get what I'm saying, you know,

So the key to being strong is to be submitted.

It's a powerful thing. That's funnier. The key to be

strong and to be submitted, So to overcome ourselves to

being a weak host. That is, not to take more

food and then doing the immoral part together, not just separately.

That is why it was evil. Yeah, men, right, it's together. Okay.

So she was telling the people why you suffer as

a Christian when you don't eat, you get missed out

or anything. God already saves you. Ready, Oh, Jesus, is

the level of your soul If you see the sol

God understands you are. So that is why it labels

the Deep Teachings of Satan, you know. Oh yeah, the

Deep Things of Satan. You know. Oh, it's the same thing.

Christian life to make it more bearable, more convenient. But

you must understand there's nothing in life that can replace truth. Nothing.

So if you want to be smart, you want be wise,

you want to be strong, you want to be discerning.

You must understand in life there are things that are irreplaceable.

Turn your neighbors and say, there are things in life

that are irreplaceable. Children, some of the things that your

mother and father tells you are doesn't matter who you

hang out with, doesn't matter what trending is are there

are things that will never change. You under say what

I'm saying. No, you don't understand it. You know they say that. No.

Children go through a few different stage now with their parents.

They idolize them, then they demonize them, and then lastly

they humanize them. They idolize them, they demonize them. Ah,

my parents the words. Oh, initially my parents are there, Yeah,

they mommy, I follow you everywhere. Then after that they

demonize the Oh why did my dad? Why supper under

this star? They other parents better. I want to get

out of everything. Oh, I'm like this because I messed up,

because all all these things are They say all the

bad things, because it's my background, it's my upbringing, it's

my parents. We say all these things that we've everything

about the path. But then when you become a parent yourself,

you start to earn your own money, and you start

to earn, You start to make your own mistakes and

live through your mistakes. You start to realize, how did

to humanize them, wow, And then you start to realize

I need to spend time with them. They start to

realize I need to get parenting advice from them. How

or not? I'm not saying this on the Bible that

this is what I read. You idolize them, you demonize,

then you start to humanize them. So I'll pray it

is that you get over the demonization very quickly. Okay,

get quickly over that, and soaday you start to humanize,

then your empathy start to realize that oh wow wow. Okay,

So please don't demonize your parents at pleace, no matter

what it's been done before. Don't. Don't don't understand okay, okay,

noted on the times? Everybody doing Okay, so far? Okay,

So I don't know how much it's time to spend

on this. Okay, you'll find a weak holes okay, there

will you temptation and lust. Okay, after you're annoying you're

wik what do you long for? What are you tempted with? Lust?

Not just things of the flesh, food, money, opportunity. Do

you get mean like people of the other parties as well,

all these things, lifestyles, fear of missing out and everything

your future in your life. It's like, oh, you could

have a lot, a lot more blessed, blessed living here.

But yet you know if you every someday just come

to church, so boring. Ah, that's it, that's life. And

they will tempt you because of the flesh man. They

will undermine authority. She calls herself a profit. You know,

there's not someone who submitted to authority. Okay. She wants control. Okay,
