You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
Six Chapter sixth they three. You know the scripture Matthew
-
Chapter six worth study three or whether it was study
-
one versey one. Let's go we worse study one?
-
All right?
-
Therefore, do not worry. How many of us here know that.
-
You know, when we don't have things, we start to worry.
-
When we don't have things in our wallet, we start
-
to worry. When people make advancement in their career, we
-
do worry. It's it's a very normal and very natural
-
human behavior because lack causes to be in a place
-
whereby am I doing something wrong? Am I not right?
-
Uh?
-
We just finished Chinese New Year, and some of you
-
really didn't had good conversation with your family relative because
-
the first question asked was why are you still singer?
-
I heard I heard the I'm not going to name names.
-
I just heard one, which I thought was funny in
-
my own sense, but I know that when the person
-
was going, she wasn't wasn't funny, all right.
-
So the mom found out that one of.
-
The church partners got a boyfriend and turned to the
-
daughter and say what about you. Then after she said, oh,
-
she's from a different service. Yeah, maybe you should go
-
to the same service as her. There must be there
-
must be available guys there.
-
That's how she can find one.
-
And and that's why you're still singing because you are
-
in the wrong service. This is long Christian mom, all right,
-
I heard that and I thought to myself, I mean,
-
as we were just conversing and we're just start of
-
laughing away.
-
I know when you're receiving it.
-
Friends, if you're there, if you're at the saving and
-
it's not that fun, right, if you're receiving and it's
-
not fun. And it's true, isn't it. The Bible says
-
that we do get worried because of what we eat
-
and what we drink. That's why the Word of Lord says,
-
do not worry. I want to encourage you friends that
-
if no matter what situation we are in, God understand
-
and God does know that we don't worry. He accepts
-
our behavior, but he asks, he's asking us and challenging
-
our mindset this morning.
-
Don't remain in that space.
-
Don't remain there because in the place of worry, nothing
-
comes out from it.
-
In the place of worry. It doesn't. The word is
-
that it doesn't bring life.
-
It adds more lines to your full head, it adds
-
more stress to your body.
-
That's what the Lord is saying to us that do
-
not worry. Wat shall we eat? Or what shall we drink?
-
Or watch it we wear? He knows.
-
But after all these things that the gentile six Okay,
-
the version I use was nalty, the pagan six after
-
people don't believe God's six after the words so he
-
two says you have Father knows that you need all
-
these things. Friends, the place if you are in the
-
place of worrying, is really good for us to re
-
evaluate whether.
-
We know or not our Father and Heaven knows our needs.
-
Because many times in our journey, friends, we just oh,
-
I'm just the words that I like to worry for example.
-
But the deeper root is this is that we find
-
our security in God.
-
That's why we don't worry right now.
-
So the Bible is encouraging us this morning that your
-
heavenly Father knows all your needs. Trends, and the journey
-
for every believer is to understand that your Father and
-
Heaven knows your needs. The journey for every believer is
-
come to this place of security whereby God, our Father
-
knows your need even before we bring it up. And
-
this requires faith, This requires trust, This requires to bring
-
us to a place by God.
-
I understand that my future is in your hands.
-
God, I understand no matter what I go to this
-
very moment, this very present moment that challenges the difficulty,
-
that you know my needs. You have come to this
-
place of being secure that you may not have it now,
-
or you may not have a breakthrough now, but your
-
breakthrough is near because your Father in Heaven knows. The
-
challenge for every believer is sometimes when we hit a wall,
-
we felt so alone and in fact problems does this
-
to us if you're in a health situation, no one understands.
-
But really, but no matter how good advice is, that
-
encouragement is that you are in the word by yourself.
-
You're in the room by yourself, and in the midst
-
of being alone facing the situation, you just wish someone
-
who understands the Bible. Here says our Father and Heaven
-
knows our needs. So if you ever felt so alone, friends,
-
hang on to this scripture. Friends, hang on to this
-
scripture because our Father and Heaven knows verse to the tree,
-
but sickly first the Kingdom of God.
-
Friends.
-
So there's one thing about God knows. The other thing
-
is that because of the revelation that our heaven father
-
and Heaven knows, therefore he's asking us to seek him.
-
Friends.
-
It is not just oh Gosh, I'll provide my needs.
-
That's it. Full stop. You go about your ways and
-
pretend nothing ever happened. Bibles are encouraging us this morning that.
-
Would you seek him? Would you seek him?
-
And this is where I want to just encourage us
-
or challenges that if you ever read your Bible at
-
night just before you sleep, fantastic, great, it comes you down,
-
it minister to you. But I want encourage you if
-
you have never read your Bible in the morning right,
-
try doing it. Because the Word, the Word of God,
-
is life. And most of our critical life decisions are
-
made when we are awake, true or not. And because
-
we make critical decisions while we are awake, don't we
-
need God's wisdom, guidance understanding of the situation. Very little
-
times I know that people make critical decision while they're asleep.
-
Very few And that's what the two people say. I
-
woke up before digits. I heard before Christian people say
-
I woke up before digit and I bought Okay, all right,
-
it's between you and the Lord hallelujah. But we make
-
life decision when we are awake, and therefore don't you
-
need to draw in on God's wisdom. Come on, most
-
of us here decide where we want to work where
-
we are awake, very seldom where we are asleep. I
-
only know one people or whether very few people that
-
say God spoke to them in their dreams. Right even then,
-
even then that they have to make God the source
-
of wisdom during the daytime. One story was that a parent,
-
one parent woke up the dead, the father woked up.
-
God spoke to me so clearly in the dream, I'm
-
going to stretch your faith. You're such a meticulous planner.
-
You plan all the way until retirement. You plan all
-
the way until that every child that you have, what
-
they're going to get and stuff that inhabited. Everything, plan
-
out every day, and you plan out what car to
-
buy because if family or tree, you have it to
-
the tea fantastic planner, and God spoke to him, I
-
am going.
-
To stretch your faith.
-
He woke up with your friends the next day with like, huh,
-
what do you mean, Lord, You're going to stretch my faith?
-
Look towards his wife and ask are you pregnant? Are
-
you pregnant? The wife did the test. Look to him, Yes,
-
I am, the wife asked him. The wife didn't ask
-
how they happen with our friends? Okay, we all know
-
how it happened. The wife says, how do you know?
-
God spoke to me? Because of that, everything changed from us.
-
Then come to MPV everything changed. Now began to ask
-
back he gave away the baby called gave away everything.
-
Can I have you back? Please? Can I have it back? Please? Friends,
-
I want to let you know.
-
Friends, because of that, he decided, decided and decided about
-
his whole life journ. I sat down with the family
-
during c n Y and just sharing up his journey
-
of faith, how they sought the Lord, how God guided
-
them to what to do? The children just say this, uh,
-
the children just sharing, you know, right with our parents
-
and we cannot lie on with our parents. We cannot lie.
-
We give up blyding to our parents. I say why
-
because every time we tried to lie or God speak
-
to my mom God this She was sharing the thing
-
in front of the mom.
-
Yeah, we always speak to my mama. My mom will
-
always ask us question and we cannot answer.
-
So we give up trying to bluff our parents after that,
-
because if we tell the problem upfront, the pain is lesser.
-
If she had the fighter from God, the pain is
-
gonna be even more painful. So we rather tell our
-
parents upfront than God speaking to her. And she file
-
out from the Lord and she has to deal with
-
the children. And I won't let you know, siecky for
-
the Kingdom of God. And these are working parents, and
-
they say that we just pray that our children will
-
follow the Lord. There's nothing wrong with seeking God's kingdom first.
-
There's nothing wrong with saying, God, what's your view for
-
my life?
-
Many times in a pursuit of career and stuff like that.
-
It's us.
-
But the Bible here says sicky for the Kingdom of God,
-
always righteousness, and all these things should be added. Unto you,
-
it's in it true that the first thing that we
-
do in our life is to look after ourself, which
-
is not wrong. But after wild friends, there has to
-
be the God element in our life. When we put
-
God first, He's not going to short change you. For
-
the past twenty five years, friends, as a church, we
-
have learned the principle that we value God more than anything.
-
Else in our church.
-
Because the fact is that when we begin to make
-
special seats for VIP people in the front, we forget.
-
That God is the most valuable person.
-
When we begin to make exception and we stop challenging people,
-
then we begin to make the normal world's culture as
-
number one rather than God's culture. And God wants a
-
reminder this morning, there's a better way to live, friends,
-
Sickly first, the Kingdom of God.
-
Friends, So the world ways of increase.
-
Is focusing on getting, but God's ways sicky first, the
-
Kingdom of God. And many times in your journey, friends,
-
we forget that God was the one that gave you
-
the very first job. God was the one that guided
-
you to give wisdom. God the world was rest to you.
-
Don't go out with the guy you will let up
-
in a mess. God was the one that that helped
-
you choose the car failure when you're all alone. God
-
was the one that opened door for you. We prayed
-
for why it was in our church to be blessed,
-
and many of you are blessed don't forget.
-
It's the Lord that provided for us.
-
Friends, Really, it's the Lord that provided.
-
So Therefore, but the Bible here says sicky.
-
First, the Kingdom of God and all is righteouses, all
-
these things shall be added unto you, those those of
-
you who are serving the Lord. Friends, I want you
-
to know that God will never shot change you. God
-
will never shot change your heale honest God, God will
-
honor him back. The Bible says, those of you you
-
have sold so faithfully, try to build homes, or rather
-
yourself good homes so faithfully, so faithfully, sometimes you feel
-
like giving up. Sometimes that you share the word, you
-
look at their faces. God, please help me. I want
-
to let you know, Fritz, don't grow tired of doing
-
what's good. You're doing it for the Lord. And God
-
is the one that will go to see your reward.
-
Amen.
-
There was a testimony I heard just recently about a
-
man of God who wasn't well. He had to and
-
he had to be admitted a hospital. And the bill
-
came up to be about four hundred over thousand, four
-
hun the man of God, no God, four hundred old
-
thousand and uh. They when they found the bill, they
-
say that we can't continue this anymore, so we have
-
to be sort of relocated to another hospital rather shift
-
on a hospital. And the story went was that his
-
normal doctor couldn't couldn't, couldn't come on the day, couldn't
-
come on the day. So there was a Okay, I
-
don't worry to write to miss substitute doctor. They came
-
for the daya right came for the day, came for
-
the day. That doctor that came for the day. Friends
-
made every arrangement possible to him to get to Uh,
-
you understand how difficult is to get to uge without
-
without so happened, Oh you're going in there. My friends
-
hit the department. Let me give him a call, right,
-
wasn't arranged? Make the call, got him a bit. My
-
frien will attend to you everything now. He shifted over
-
to the site and we were just talking about that
-
what what are the odds really that that that that
-
the doctor just cameing forward that one day.
-
We've got no relation, do not know the backstory? Who
-
followed the about the backstory?
-
Who happened to had a friend And we were just
-
as we were, just a few of the ministers coming
-
together just sharing We just say God, you're in control.
-
You're in control.
-
And this man of God he went around preaching and
-
this stuff that very weak, very very weak, and say.
-
God, I see one of strength to push the gospel.
-
So the Bible here says, sicky for the King of
-
got everything else, everything else. Of course, the wife is
-
prayed that God please hear my husband. But yeah, I
-
could see God's hand in the situation. God's hand in
-
the situation. What are the odds? We'll always say, God,
-
You're still in control, and therefore therefore we know that
-
everything else will be taken care of.
-
Friends, you and I need to come.
-
To this place whereby we say that God, all these
-
years of sewing we shall reap in genesy shall pay elevel.
-
The Bible says, that's seed time. There's horse time. Come on,
-
there is seed time and how's time. But the challenge
-
for every believer sometimes you want the howards during seed time,
-
and that's difficult because you can't hours when it's time
-
to sow. You can't sow when sid the hours. As
-
surely as the earth remains, the Bible says it, there is.
-
Seed time and howards time.
-
Friends, So therefore, friends understanding, what are the same moments
-
right now that God is giving to you for you
-
to be able to sew that you can reap. The
-
Bible always work on sewing and reaping friends. He doesn't
-
work on just luck. No, there's no luck in the Bible.
-
It's so sewing and ripping. Turn me me right now
-
to Genesis chapters Sorry, John chapter six, John chapter six.
-
You're gonna see how the uh I've got a pologized
-
x TV. I may I'm man not go according to
-
my slights, but we shall see how it comes. John
-
chapter six, verse five, John chapter six, vers five. Now
-
Jesus lift OUTSI, seeing a great multitude coming towards seim,
-
and said to Philip, where shall we vibrate the all
-
men eat? Verse five? Present us with the need? Come on,
-
present us with the need. The Bible says that asking Philip,
-
where shall we get bread for all?
-
May it?
-
You heard about any giving? You heard about the different
-
needs around. So the question is to us and not
-
to anyone else. What can we do that these people
-
may eat? Wor's seven, no worse six. But this he
-
said to test him, Come on, test. Every opportunity that
-
comes into your life to sow is a test.
-
Come on.
-
Every opportunity for you, for you to come to serve
-
the Lord is a test. The test is to reveal,
-
not to fail you.
-
Friends.
-
The test is to reveal what's in your hearts. A
-
lot of us here we are peace loving until we
-
put the tests. Our lot of us here, we are
-
loving Christians until you start serving because in our own
-
declaration we always see that we are good, We're all right,
-
we are nice people right until you put to a test.
-
So God will always give first an avenue so that
-
our hearts get revealed. Come on, church, God wants to
-
review what's in your heart. Not supposed to feel you,
-
to embarrass you, to make you like you know, like
-
oh right, It is to just reveal so that you
-
can do something about it. A couple of days ago,
-
my patient was really stretched, really ten, very thin. And
-
sometimes when you're when you're.
-
Stretched into a place whereby you just want to lash out.
-
You just want to scream, You just want to shout back,
-
to release all your grumness.
-
Sorry for that word. You want to the ones.
-
You want to release all your grum because at the
-
situation then you feel like peace will come upon you. Right,
-
I did that first I did that. I was so angry,
-
not with my wife praised a lot, halle luja. If not,
-
I wouldn't be here. It was a situation, all right.
-
I was talking to excellent people. I was so grumb
-
I was like.
-
Why did delay? Why this? And why that?
-
Right? And the moment after I did that, God just
-
began to speak to me, asking me that, yeah, so
-
where's your food of the spirit. Don't you just hit
-
God sometimes that he speaks to you back then shouldn't
-
he come and intervened in the early solutions so I
-
don't have to really decide on me, you know what
-
I mean. It's like He put you to a test
-
right at the very point you just felt that it
-
is your right to release the grum. It is your
-
right to really to reveal, really what's on your heart,
-
to say, to give people a piece.
-
Of our mind.
-
Right to let people know the emotions that they put
-
you to, right, so they understand next time they don't
-
do it that you again anymore. Then God spoke to me,
-
why do we become to church next week and you're
-
preaching up there? God loves you and Christians I supposed
-
to be peace living. How would you able to be able
-
to stand up in front of and say all this
-
and say that the fruit of the spirit is long suffering.
-
I said, God, please to them to church that we
-
are preaching, go to another church plan. I praised like
-
that before, because I mean, come on, none of us
-
here wake up in the morning.
-
Say God, please reveal to me who can I chew? Please?
-
Real to me? Who can I buck up? Please? Real
-
to me? Who can I get angry with?
-
None of us goes out of our room that way,
-
but situation come along our way by putting you in
-
the plot, in the position like the Bible here says
-
that God will always put the test in front of us,
-
not the fairst, but to reveal what's in our hearts.
-
Come on, so there's a need, Come on, say you need.
-
So there's a need there. But God understand, He knows
-
how the need is gonna be met. Friends, last year,
-
our budget was about eight hundred one thousand when we
-
collected the offering. Offering, about four hundred and sixty thousand
-
came in. Praise the Lord for every fund that came in.
-
We were shot of our budget. Friends, We don't really
-
share this real shot budget. So we prayed and especially
-
as you pray to God you come to first. Then
-
one just plant overseas transferred about close to about one
-
hungred and fifty thousand over say this, I'll just probably
-
want to sow in the annivers Three. God knows our
-
budget at the end of day a budget of one
-
hundred thousands met.
-
Again, you know us.
-
We don't put out a child needing and asking for
-
money and nothing at all. Say God, if you are
-
truly God, you will come true for us. Everyone a
-
partner has a responsibility to answer towards you.
-
That's it.
-
It is not what our neighbors can do or should
-
do friends, it's what we can do, what we should
-
do for the Lord.
-
So worse.
-
Seven Philip answered two hungry then is worth a braid?
-
It's not sufficient for them that every one of them
-
may have a litter.
-
Isn't it very interesting?
-
Jesus question, where can we find food for the people
-
was directed towards the disciple. Come on, not towards a businessman,
-
not wealthy people. If you talk to people, we miss
-
no problem. We are arranged truck back it up. We
-
would offload braid for everyone. And God understands that. And
-
God knows that Jesus want to talk to the disciple,
-
because the disciple must have faith to believe that this
-
can be done as well in your life, whatever challenge
-
you're going to right now, we must believe that God
-
is able to come true for us, come true for you.
-
Friends. If your homes is not doing very well.
-
Friends, it's easy to say something, Oh, my homies, my
-
homies are so boring, my homies are like that, My
-
homies are always late, My homies don't like sorry, don't
-
don't talk anyone here, right, No, non of the homeleaders.
-
He asked me to say all this right.
-
It's sometimes it's it's the way it is that we
-
put the blame already, the excuses of why the home
-
is not happening on the excellent forces, you know what
-
I mean, excellent people, excellent situation.
-
Then God always asks about what's in your hands? Are
-
you even excited?
-
Not?
-
Are you?
-
No matter what the surrounding is, would would be the
-
one even that nobody's gonna be shared the same excitement
-
as you would.
-
You still be excited all the way to the end.
-
My wife is very good.
-
It is no matter whether people laugh or not, right,
-
she's still gonna laugh. Anyway, no matter whether people talk
-
to her or She's gonna talk anyway. So that's why
-
sometimes sleep early, right and she cares. She has this
-
ability to talk and talk and talk. It is a gift, yes,
-
to a lot of people. Anyway, you got to focus
-
back on the world of God. Jesus was challenging the disciples. Friends,
-
So right now in your journey, what's God's speaking to you?
-
Come on to you, not to anyone else, to you,
-
Gods speaking to us that. What's your response in a
-
situation at your office? What's your contribution?
-
How? How will your faith show up at your office?
-
Because many times I've heard before we should do this,
-
we should do that in officers couple office, whereas it's
-
very normal we should do this. Great, I don't have time?
-
Would you do it? Also don't have time? Then my
-
question then what you're bringing up.
-
Recently?
-
We just had the meeting the homesboy had the meeting.
-
Someone just suggested maybe we should do this, and another
-
homesbod memory just replied, I don't have time, and majority
-
of us here don't have time. On we don't have time.
-
Would you want to pick up what you suggested? The
-
persons say no, they say, then what you're bringing up
-
then hoping someone else would do it? Isn't it true
-
that someone believe us are like that? Home Leader, We
-
should make a host exciting. Maybe we should try to
-
dress up for homes Mexican night.
-
I do not just please don't do that, right, if
-
you're like that?
-
pH his color friends, I don't have the energy thirty fifty,
-
I realized that it's yo, go hit.
-
I will come up with my T shirt and jeans. Right,
-
but let's do everything like that, friends, homely that you
-
should my excitement.
-
You should do this right, and you are there receiving
-
everything like everything's all me right?
-
Have you ever thought that before? Everything is of all
-
your shoulders?
-
And God wants to minister to you this morning, friends,
-
because he wants to reveal what's in your hearts. Phillips
-
said that two hunger over the narways that was needed
-
to fit everyone gets a little bit done with a
-
human answer. That's that's what we have, that's our natural answer.
-
If I give only got this mushal gift. We always
-
challenge people that if God must must be so real
-
and evidence in your life, because the days will come,
-
whereby do you really believe right, I say, really believe.
-
Do you hang on to him? The days will come by.
-
Always you go to a challenge where by to know
-
whether God is real or not? Really, when you are
-
in the space whereby it's between you and the Lord,
-
I pray that you you're able to discover that God
-
is so real in your life, friends, knowing that God
-
will come true for you. Sometimes in the midst of
-
a congression like this, there is there is encouragement, there
-
is hope. But most time when we go through the challenges,
-
is between you and the Lord. That's why God always
-
speak to you individually. How would this need to be met?
-
And it reveals Phillips answer. Phelis are the reviews of
-
his faith. Number one in his faith, he only see
-
in the natural friends, even though it was part of
-
Jesus group.
-
He only see through the lens of the natural.
-
If everyone gives this only so much, and if you're
-
going to operate the natural, friends, there is no brick
-
to There is nothing to glorifying to God about it.
-
If you're going to operate the natural, friends, there is
-
nothing glorifying about it because God doesn't get the glory.
-
That's why we always challenge people that trust God, trust God,
-
and many times we always say we can't, we don't,
-
we didn't before. Trust God again. Some of us here
-
trust God again because in your journey, friends, trusting God
-
is not just a one time occasion.
-
It is not Abraham didn't just trust God for the
-
one occasion.
-
God tested Abraham to Isaac, precious precious child that he
-
was praying for. You may think that something is so
-
precious that God will not and God touch it because
-
He wants Abraham to know whether he trusts him or not.
-
There was eight Then one of the disciples, Andrew Simon
-
Peter Andrew Simon's Peter brothers, said to him, there is
-
a lead here. We have five bally loaf and two
-
small fish. Five bally loaf and two small fish. I
-
want you to just look at this scripture and ask
-
yourself this question.
-
And you.
-
I guess he was an older gentleman looking at the
-
boys meal.
-
This is why I called you got fudda what the share?
-
Not? My question here is is that imagine five thousand people, Okay,
-
what are the odds that only one person brought lunch?
-
Think about it.
-
The Bible says they fat five thousand, right, what are
-
the odds that only this lad brought lunch?
-
I think there are the other people who brought lunch
-
of friends.
-
Come on, the other people brought lunch to that, to
-
the meeting one friends. And I don't think that the
-
boy is so special that the mom said pack your lunch, okay,
-
because Jesus is gonna ask from you, all right, you
-
shall give. I truly believe that other people in the
-
midst of the crowd, who has lunch. But it was
-
the boy that revealed to Andrew I had this. I'm
-
not sure what you can do, but I have this.
-
If you want, you can take it. The question here
-
is is that what about the rest who brought lunch?
-
What about the rest who brought lunch and did not share?
-
And many times now journey, we focus on this boy
-
who just gave. But I want to speak to the
-
rest who did, of the people in the Bible that
-
did not give the lunch, because it isn't it true?
-
Sometimes our journey our life, and we say that someone
-
else will answer the call, answer the need, someone else
-
will pay the price, and we just want to enjoy
-
the right. And many times our journey we don't like
-
to be challenged. You don't like uncomfortable because it's not
-
pleasant giving up the lunch. Friends, imagine right now, listen,
-
imagine you're the young lad with what your mom packed
-
for you, parents put aside for you. Maybe maybe this
-
is expensive, right, and a doubt coming over thinking over
-
your lunch.
-
It's never pleasant.
-
When someone take over your meal that you're maybe you're hungry,
-
all right, just quite back to the school days.
-
Then you brought lunch to school back then.
-
Me and my wife always talking about so her schooling days.
-
My parents give me money, and so when I get
-
the schooler, I know what to eat. You really, lunch
-
are exactly hit four stores, buy from different stores and
-
begin to eat. Yes, my wife loves to eat. I said, wow,
-
your parents give you money for lunch. Yeah, what about you?
-
I got one Pepsi water fill play water. You know
-
that time you buy the Coca Cola water, you feel
-
your water. I say, that's my lunch, because my lunch
-
is reating for me back home, no pocket money for lunch.
-
And when something was taken away from you, right, friends,
-
you could like, oh shuck?
-
Should I have said it? Should I have said to
-
Andrew that I got lunch. Should I review to people?
-
I got this to the moment I reviewed taken away,
-
I'm left with nothing. And that's what we go to,
-
something where we serve God. I give up my time
-
to serve. I give up things to serve the Lord.
-
I felt I'm on the losing end. I felt the
-
moment I do this, I don't have enough for myself.
-
Again. I want to encourage you. He honors God. God
-
will honor him back.
-
We always teach young people earlier days and now also
-
as well that learn to honor God.
-
Learn to honor God.
-
My earlier days of my journey with the Lord, I'm
-
never given my tithe seriously shared my time by now
-
giving my time because I came from a big church.
-
The big church got really got.
-
So many other people's well to do, and I thought
-
to myself, hey, other people can give. The body's always
-
been metma, so I don't have to give if I
-
give a so I just give, really like a donation
-
rather than a sewing time. Then God spoke to me
-
one day say that, hey, will you start sewing? So
-
I did so I enter full time ministry. After that,
-
many years later, I enter full time ministry without full
-
time pay. Friends without full time pay, it's not a lot,
-
so that they sware. But I really can't you say,
-
bring all the tithe into the storehouse. Yes, but I'm
-
also your servant God, I got needs right, and therefore.
-
Could I postpone skip one month?
-
Not? Sometimes you talk to God away because you got
-
to need my friends? So I did there our months
-
whever I escaped, I did confess before you.
-
I'm so shaved. I did. I skipped some months I
-
did earlier days. My tithe I thought was wise.
-
Oh ten percent, quite a lot, please God, hallelujah. Got
-
money to spare for myself. Amen, can buy the Jeanes. Finally,
-
whatever it is okay, we don't simply escape because by
-
ourself just abuse to be made now to be paid.
-
I remember, I remember those I didn't experiment. Really those
-
months I did not give. Unexpectedly, a few months later,
-
a bill coming to my way, very similar amount to
-
what I red help from the Lord, very similar amount
-
to what I read help from the Lord and not.
-
And I told God, God, I said, why but you
-
do this to me? It's like, can it be something else?
-
Someone else? Right? And God said, no, I want your faith.
-
So I realized this as I want to share this
-
with you friends. You really the word is that sometimes
-
you apply like like like Philip. You know so many
-
people here. Everyone, get a little bit natural and apply
-
my natural understanding to tighten offering, which got no brick shoe,
-
no brick shoe, no brick shoe. After those few years
-
of going through the hard knocks, I told God, God,
-
every time Saturday comes, this belongs to you.
-
That's it.
-
No negotiable. You must come to a place by some
-
negotiable in your life. So the young boy give up
-
his lunch. Then Jesus said, make the people sit down
-
as much there was much grass. The man sat down,
-
number five thousand, Come on, number five thousand.
-
A couple of things I want you to not over here. Friends.
-
The boy's lodge in his own hands can only fit himself.
-
Come on, the boy's lodge in his own hands can
-
only fit himself. But in God's hand it went beyond himself.
-
Come on, beyond himself to someone else's need. Being mad
-
and many times you look at for example, it's not
-
the month, friends.
-
It's what we have, our life, our life.
-
We can take care of us, maybe one or two
-
people around us, but God can stretch that and cause
-
that to make an impact to a group a community,
-
not just one or two people.
-
Friends, you know, five love and two fish.
-
You know how many people can spread out to to
-
fit five thousand with five love and two fish threads.
-
Even you have the tear that rapid people, so the
-
toper package of the tear and as well, friends, that's
-
not enough. But God wants us to realize that what
-
we have right now has a potential to touch a community.
-
God wants you to know this morning, what you have
-
right now has a potential to touch the community. Friends,
-
because many times in our journey we always say, yeah,
-
what can I do? I'm only one person ever said
-
that before?
-
What can I do? Is only me?
-
I'm the only ones so excited for homes and the
-
rest of our homies are like right, homes is so
-
far right, every every reason and stuff like that. But if, if,
-
if you're so convinced that homes is a place that
-
where God wanted to be connected, be the person then
-
because you have the potential to transform your needs. God
-
always uses the needs as a channer for us to
-
experience his blessing. Come on, God always uses the needs
-
of others. The needs around us as a Channa for
-
us to experience is blessing. What we have right now
-
is in the natural. But what when we so to
-
God that supernatural begin to happen. Why is it, friends,
-
that the supernatural stop happening in your life after you
-
become a working adult, when you're a campus student. I
-
remember some of us prayed so hard for break through,
-
and God came to some of us, our first generation believers.
-
And you're praying that God will open a way for
-
you to share your faith with your parents. You pray
-
so hard and God came toru for you, got opened
-
the door for you for a moment, we will enter
-
a certain age that earlier face begins to change. Your
-
journey of faith doesn't stop because you get older. It
-
gets even more exciting as you age with the Lord.
-
As you age with the Lord, Friends, just let me
-
just one or two things. The majority of people miss
-
the opportunity to experience God's supernatural because if you they
-
don't have enough, or God will not or God will
-
not accept what I give. Sorry that I miss out
-
the majority of us. You miss out. As I close it,
-
this is the child, and I don't think the young
-
boy really knew what he was doing. He just by faith,
-
said God, I didn't have this. I only have this
-
as I close and many times when to get ready
-
to just to serve the Lord and to give to God.
-
I don't know how you do you see you're giving.
-
I'm not sure how you see. I'm not sure how
-
you see what you have in your hands and how
-
it's going to work out. But to encourage you to
-
stretch your faith a bit, stretch your faith a bit.
-
Recently I had lunch with Sam Young from Ex London.
-
He was just sharing that right now we're touching eighty
-
old people, eighty old people in Ex London. We're looking
-
for a bigger venue, looking for bigger venue. I went like, Sam,
-
you know right in London looking for bigger venue, need costs.
-
It's not easy London. It's not Malaysia. We got we've
-
got empty warehouses, any any space and not being used
-
in Malaysia to pick up a card, right, I say,
-
if we have a lot of space by UK is
-
very different, very expensive? Says so expensive? I say, yeah,
-
how about second service? Second services it but not enough
-
people to serve. I say, that's where you have to
-
raise up, I say, I don't think you can continue
-
on looking for bigger venues and bigger venues and bigger
-
news because bigger budgets and the stress of meeting a
-
big budget. Friends, it is crazy. I showed Shelly my
-
old photograph when I came to church and hair.
-
Enough said. But as as as you look back, as
-
you look back.
-
Opportunities opportunists comes your way.
-
Right.
-
Why we missed those big ture moments. It's because we
-
fail to recognize. And I just told Sam and say Sam,
-
they come a point in time you have to challenge the.
-
People to do two services.
-
You have to because there's unless you begin to trow y,
-
you begin to use money run the bigger venue. Even then,
-
could you imagine the sound system you have to carry
-
Right now, you're carrying a very simple set. Praise God,
-
you've got ready to the place. To keep a bigger
-
venue means you have to cut it and out lorry
-
and you understand.
-
How it works. I say, let's prey, think how.
-
The need can be met in another way, recognizing friends
-
that that need friends.
-
It's so important. This animalstary giving is not just another time. Friends.
-
If you think that the church needs your money. Can
-
I just encourage you and just tell you that don't so.
-
I just want to say on onset here, don't so
-
because there is no power in that giving. No one
-
gets the glory. God doesn't get the glory as much
-
as donation. Yeah, you can give it as the donation
-
and this stuff like that. But that's why people miss
-
out because they just view as a donation moment. But
-
towards who I truly understand is it is a set time.
-
It is a set time for us the soul. The
-
Bible says those two, so we will reap as well.
-
It is a set time for us. Let me share
-
a testimony as a close four years three years ago
-
or four years ago, something happened in my life. I
-
came back from it one day and I discovered that,
-
you know, someone stole my site mirror. It is my
-
housing area, not not the site mirror. The glass only
-
the glass only comes the class the mirror. That that
-
the whole cower is still intact. The glass only friends.
-
Now I've no people still the whole thing now friends,
-
but very seldom still the glass only you know, friends,
-
I'm really talking to yourself. You like still like yes,
-
the glasses I was talking to past about it. Past
-
this happened, and I thought Pastor would be like, oh, no,
-
something happened to you. He just asked me a question,
-
can you I truly think that God's speaking to you.
-
How was your anualcy giving? I'm like past tending you
-
about the car. You're asking me a NSC giving. I
-
lost two glass of my side mirror. He asked me
-
about ns giving and I just look at Pastor. I
-
know what person was trying to get that, and I
-
knew that the time that time, I was doing my
-
mental calculation how much you give?
-
And I thought it was generously enough.
-
Really, that was one year after I had my hard
-
situation and stuff that I said, God, don't is because
-
anything happens to me, I can take care myself and anybody.
-
This stuff that when God spoke to me that that
-
very moment that was in.
-
January, January and three February of the time and just
-
around the corner, and I like, past I really thought
-
that you know.
-
That you answered that that that thing you're putting your
-
loss your mirror and just stuff like that.
-
I went back with this thought in my mind, like
-
have I been living by faith that.
-
Kim and usery.
-
I know God gave me a sum because I spoke
-
to me in December already. I didn't want to give
-
the sum because I say, God, when I have it later,
-
I will give it. But God knows I haven't. Really
-
I have it later, I give it when I'm already.
-
So my p was this sudden?
-
I say, God, if this is your way of getting
-
my attention, of all things, it's a mirror of friends,
-
a mirror think about you.
-
I think it's trying to.
-
Tell me, look look at our own heart. Yeah, look
-
at my own heart, look at my own life.
-
Look.
-
Began to observe a bit more mirrors. So important friends,
-
you know, and I think that we got we we are.
-
We are pretty good looking. I think we look in
-
the mirror. Obviously, we always say that our heads in place.
-
I think we look in the mirror. After you eat
-
your economy, realize you do that there's no when you
-
started beating your teeth.
-
I do look in the mirror.
-
So mirrors are very important friends, right, So God reminds
-
you just look at your own heart. But I mean,
-
I mean, I mean your servant, I serve you know,
-
and stuff like you unswer the press and pain and
-
the stuff like that just came up my heart. So
-
do all this try the reason that we got, why
-
I shouldn't obey, why I shouldn't follow, why.
-
I think this is a way of the neture?
-
And God just say, yes, there was last year, but
-
this year right, So I started, Friends started, started started.
-
For the past three years after that, there was every
-
year I gave a SuperNature giving.
-
Now I'm not sure caring this to entice you to
-
give more. Friends.
-
Know this is my journey. Friends, I just want to
-
let you know every year there was increased. So last
-
year of February last year. February is last year. February
-
I started my house renovation repair project. I want to
-
let you know it's gonna be one year. I never
-
intended it this way. I never intended I was textic
-
pasta passes financily committed till end. For the very first
-
time in my life, I'm hosting people. Pray for me,
-
really really pray for me, because I'm not used to
-
hosting people in my house. On Sam, we are very
-
comfortable hosting people in your house. Praise God.
-
There's really a gift.
-
I'm not I tell you how bicky, I am. I'm
-
not my floor at least ten times, really almost every
-
other day because of a clean floor of means to say,
-
when you put your fingers on the floor, you cannot
-
see any does I'm sorry, that's just me, but I
-
say my wife used as the reason why she shook.
-
In the house.
-
I can't clean as good as you you cleaner. I
-
go like clean clean the sailor right, So I'm not
-
good at it. And I create sometimes I go like
-
it's there, so I have to be the words had
-
to be perfect, perfect before it can perfect, before anybody
-
can step foot in. Right, And I was just texting
-
past the past. Thank you so much for challenging me.
-
I'm not sure remember not a few years ago you
-
challenged me to do this, and I did every year
-
without fail. Last year I did decided that I got
-
to repair my house if things were licking, and decided
-
I just got to repair it, repair, repair it. Didn't
-
expect the journey to take so long. Three months, me
-
and mad to stay separately, not because we argue, we
-
we just have to stay separately, because they.
-
Were doing every part of the house.
-
After that, and I sat back reflected saying Buster coming
-
till end. I want to sorting to give the glory
-
to God. All this is possible for me. This is
-
my journey recognizing because you challenged me past I held
-
the God's word. I remember my my personal prayer time
-
saying God, I need this X amount earlier this before
-
I started anything anything of this matter, and this X
-
amount to do the house. I wanted to know that
-
God showed up, he came to I didn't put out
-
any nothing at all. God is between me and you
-
this whole journey. I just wanted to honor you because
-
you are the one that that that.
-
Came to for me.
-
God will never short change your friends. As I close,
-
I wanted to share something you may or may not know.
-
Me and my wife Bobos.
-
Are serving full time and it was at one point
-
in time we wanted to get a house. Couldn't The
-
house I'm currently staying in France was a house that
-
was sput in auction.
-
For four times. Four times.
-
Nobody wanted to buy it.
-
Right.
-
A lot of people went in there first say they
-
say it was such a huge crack on the world, they.
-
Want to buy it. And I walked in.
-
Now we walked in there, we couldn't walk the doors open.
-
But we saw the place out there. We just saw.
-
We told my wife back then, this this is our
-
place that we're going to grow.
-
Fast forward.
-
Friends, I can only share this test to maybe you that.
-
God was just so good.
-
It was a notice of auction that we were just
-
put on a line, a lamp post.
-
My dad helped me to call God. We now shot
-
change your own.
-
Friends, as I closer, I don't know know where your
-
journey is, but all I do know is just that
-
it is not a lot of people say chance to
-
not God will lead you to As I closer, as
-
I want to challenge you this year, we would recognize
-
and need they're not And would you begin to sow,
-
begin to believe God, begin to trust God like the
-
boy who gave up saying, if Jesus asking for it,
-
let me just off for what I am.
-
I don't know whether they can do much or not,
-
but this is what I can do. Friends. I do
-
not know.
-
I may not be able to meet the fool budget,
-
but this is what I can do.
-
Friends.
-
And God's always asking you, so what can you do
-
for him?
-
What can you do for him? Friends?
-
What can you do for the Lord, if you can
-
smile and shake hands, if you can greet people friends,
-
would you serve as a host? But you understand, got
-
so disappointed Before shake people's hand, they will say good morning.
-
I would say you, I should be with them, the
-
seed they called me, because this being them, they're worshiping,
-
they're lifting up their hands.
-
But would you still serve God again?
-
As I close friends, when you look to the Lord, Oh,
-
on a different journey with the Lord. My encouragement to
-
you right now this one year, would you learn to
-
be like the lad they say God. I know I
-
may not may not mean much a lot of people.
-
If I were and you took the food, I think
-
that God succastedly got me one for I give you
-
a five little.
-
Bit two fish.
-
See what can you do with it? I put it
-
like that because five thousand people might how to feed.
-
Unless you understand, you don't get you before you.
-
Know you asked for I give you.
-
I pray that we come to a place where I say, God,
-
my hands right now, just surrender to you, and this
-
is what I can do.
-
Amen.
-
Would you stand right now and God's asking you right
-
now what can you.
-
Do for him? What can you bring before Him. Amen.
-
