  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. I have a word for you this morning, and Tim

  4. will know about it because it came as a result

  5. of me having to share in the teacher's devotion. And

  6. the Lord gave this word, and I thought it was

  7. just for the teacher's devotion, because I actually have another

  8. message prepared for your which sometime in the future, I

  9. hope I will get two from the Book of Corinthians.

  10. But the Lord put in my heart to share this

  11. word with you, and that was fifteen minutes. Now I'll

  12. be forty five minutes, so I hope you get the

  13. full gist of what this word is all about. So

  14. I think we're reading from John chapter four, verse one,

  15. and wow, this is very nice. Evan were you? Oh,

  16. this is really cute. It used to be so many pedals.

  17. Now it's just this one little bar full of colors. Nice,

  18. very distracting. Okay, Okay, let's just get to it. Okay. Now,

  19. for many of you, this might be a reminder, but

  20. actually God's big on remind us. God is big on

  21. us remembering his word over and over again because it

  22. is in a memory that power takes place. Let's read

  23. and let's see what we can glean from John chapter

  24. four and pretty much the whole chapter. Therefore, when the

  25. Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made

  26. and baptized more disciples than John, though Jesus himself did

  27. not baptize but his disciples verse three, he left Judea

  28. and again to Galilee. You know, the things that we

  29. hear can sometimes get in the way. And you know,

  30. not everything that we hear is bad. Some of the

  31. stuff that we hear pretty good. Hey, Jesus heard that

  32. his disciples are baptizing more than John. Isn't that a

  33. step up? Isn't that something nice? Hey? When something nice

  34. is being spoken about us, don't you want to just linger? Yeah? Yeah,

  35. I mean sort of feel good. You're just your shoulders,

  36. you're just your your cold and you stand a little

  37. bit taller, and it's so good. Right. What about those

  38. times when people are speaking bad about you? You know,

  39. those are the times even more we don't rush away,

  40. some more we want to hear. Oh, really, is this

  41. what you're thinking about me? This is what you're speaking

  42. You just wait, crag am I you know, talking myself

  43. or this? Does this really happen in our lives? We do?

  44. We tend to pay attention to the words around us,

  45. and you gotta ask yourself, is it important to get

  46. stuck listening to what people are saying? Is it important

  47. that we stop a walk, we stop moving forward because

  48. we interested about the noise that is going on around us?

  49. I want to look at what Jesus didn't Therefore, when

  50. the Lord knew, how does he know? Because he can

  51. he's within yeah shot right, Okay, people are talking, Okay,

  52. what did he do? He left? He left? I just

  53. love it. Do you realize that when you have read

  54. this word, that the lesson here is Jesus was not

  55. interested to get stuck from doing his mission by the

  56. things that people were talking about, good or bad. Isn't

  57. it so liberating to live your life not being bothered

  58. about what people say because it doesn't stop you. You

  59. see where you're about to move, and the things you're

  60. about to do does not depend upon the conversations that's

  61. going around. I mean, if I knew how to do something,

  62. I tell you when I used to do my exams,

  63. I got doctor down here mathematics. Wow, maybe you can

  64. explain equals MC squared to me. Yeah, I know, but

  65. it's it's still a mathematical formulation, right. So wow. Anyway,

  66. if if I wanted to do something, and for example,

  67. my exams, one of the principles I followed when I

  68. did exams is the moment I go to the exam

  69. place where everybody is at, I make sure I'm not

  70. near my friends because I don't want to listen to

  71. the conversation. I'm not interested with what they know or

  72. what they don't know. I'm not interested in the panic

  73. that they may have or the confidence that they may have.

  74. You know why, because if I'm interested in what they

  75. have to say, and I get caught up in the conversation,

  76. in me cause fear to come in. I didn't prepare

  77. for that. Oh really, you know, and that whole panic.

  78. We'll mess up your exam. So what did I do?

  79. That's the one time I stay away from all my friends.

  80. If they walk towards me, I walk away. If they

  81. come near me, I'm nowhere to be. I will always

  82. be a look. I will only go and talk to

  83. them after the exam is over, because then it doesn't

  84. matter I've done what I set out to do. You

  85. see Jesus say, I didn't know that was a biblical principle,

  86. because Jesus did exactly the same thing. He was not

  87. going to let himself stop by the conversations swirling around him.

  88. For many of you, this is an answer. Maybe you're

  89. just stuck because you're so concentrating or so concerned about

  90. what people are talking about you. Your life is bigger

  91. than that. There's a song in my head. I am

  92. who I am, says I am. It will be a

  93. country in Western song. I will write it sooner or later,

  94. because I think it's quite catch you here. I am

  95. who I am, says I am. Now I can already.

  96. You know why, because the country in Western songs that

  97. are wanted all these weird, weird lines, And it's true,

  98. I am who I am, says I am, so concentrate

  99. on that. Of course, the title of today's message I

  100. did not say is Jesus has a need. Jesus has

  101. a need, and it's going to come from verse four.

  102. But Jesus needed to go through Samaria. He needed to

  103. go through Samaria. Why does Jesus need to do Why

  104. does Jesus need to do anything? We'll learn and I

  105. had an experience or what needing to do something is

  106. really all about. This happened a couple of weeks back

  107. and after I had shared this in the devotion, and

  108. I believe the Lord put in my hand I want

  109. you to share this that day. I want you to

  110. share this the next time you go sharing the word.

  111. So anyway, in the evening, about seven o'clock, the Mabel

  112. and myself we went for dinner and we went to

  113. this Indian shop and my go to dinner is always

  114. Raba tose. Why Raba tose is the healthiest of all

  115. the stuffler you get in the shop because you eat ROTI, CHINAI,

  116. too much oil, you eat everything out, But raba tosay

  117. I've done my research is a little bit healthier. Who

  118. I've got a research of for years. So anyway, after

  119. eating the Rabba to say and all that, and the

  120. Bible says, I need to get something from ninety nine,

  121. which is the shop next door. So we went to

  122. ninety nine and we got our stuff and we were

  123. at the counter, you know, we're about to pay, but

  124. just before us was a poor Indonesian lady and her

  125. mother and they wanted to buy a bag of rice.

  126. It was to our shock when the person in the

  127. counter said, you cannot buy this rice because you're not

  128. a Malaysian. Have any of you ever heard this before?

  129. Have you ever seen it take place? I just couldn't

  130. believe it. Elder Mabel couldn't believe it. And this lady

  131. it was just a bag of rice. She was so sad,

  132. and she walked away to put the rice back. So

  133. I looked at Elder Mabel and I said, hey, just

  134. go and give her money and whatever the rice say

  135. that she can buy the more expensive rice, she will

  136. have money to buy it. So Elder Mabel then give

  137. her the money. We paid for our stuff got in

  138. the car. But when we got in the car and

  139. we began to drive off our hearts both she and

  140. me were not settled. So how can we do this?

  141. You know, this is this is poor, poor, poor people.

  142. And as we were discussing this, we said, what is

  143. wrong with the boat of us with such dummies? Why

  144. didn't we just buy the rice and give it to her?

  145. Why didn't we do that? And it just bugged us

  146. so much. By that time, I had already gone onto

  147. the main road, so I just looked at her, and

  148. she looked at me and we said, no, this is

  149. not going to do. We need to go back. We

  150. need to go back. So we turned the car. We

  151. came around. We parked in front of the restaurant, and

  152. it was with such it was like a mission impossible movie.

  153. It was with such determination, so much of determination that

  154. the people in the shop, the shop, you know, but

  155. what's wrong? Is anything wrong? Is there anything wrong? So

  156. let me explain. No, we need to find this lady.

  157. We went into the shop. We searched all it couldn't

  158. have been two three minutes. We could not find her.

  159. We could not find her. We came out. Then we

  160. went to the shop. Say did you see a lady

  161. you know with her mother? You know? And what's the

  162. problem is it? The poor they were denied a bag

  163. of rice. We want to buy it for them. Did

  164. you see them? No, we didn't see that's what they said.

  165. Then we took the car and we went around that

  166. whole shopping area. We stopped by it, every shop looking

  167. for this lady. Why we needed to find we did not.

  168. We were feeling really bad because when something like that

  169. comes upon your heart, you have to be quick to

  170. understand what the Lord is telling you. And despite our

  171. years in the Lord, we can be slow. Sometimes we

  172. missed the opportunity. But I'll tell you this, we won't

  173. do it again. If ever we are in such a situation,

  174. we will use this experience and think faster and do

  175. the right thing. The very least is we gave the

  176. money so that she could buy the more expensive bag

  177. of rice. You know, but it was so quick. This

  178. poor lady and her mother seemed to disappear because we

  179. are with the car. This is in a couple of minutes.

  180. Where could they go? We couldn't find them. You know

  181. what is the blessing out of all this? Every time

  182. now we go to that shop to eat food, you

  183. should see how they serve us. They are so nice,

  184. so attentive, but so friendly towards Elder Mabel and myself

  185. because they saw how we were trying to look out

  186. for someone who was less fortunate. But that's that's not

  187. that's not the reason why we did it. We did

  188. it because the Holy Spirit put in our heart we

  189. needed to do something. Jesus needed to go through Samaria.

  190. And how many of you know that Samaria was a

  191. place that knowed you went to. It's like me, I

  192. try never to go to Joho, Okay any Jorians, Yeah no,

  193. because you know this is I read so many stories

  194. about it. It's not a place that I want to go.

  195. Of course, I know I've had some nice fish there

  196. in JB. So Jesus needed to go through a place

  197. that no one, no jew wanted to go through. And

  198. why is that? Well? He came to a city of

  199. Samaria which is called Seicha, near the plot of ground

  200. that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob's well

  201. was there. Jesus, therefore, being wearied from his journey, set

  202. us by the well. It is about the sixth hour.

  203. You're about to listen. You're about to hear why Jesus

  204. needed to go to this place. Jesus needed to do something.

  205. When Jesus needs to do something, ask yourself one question.

  206. Is it for him or for you? Is it for

  207. him or for us? A woman of Samaria came to

  208. draw water, and Jesus said to her, give me a

  209. drink for his disciples, and gone away into the city

  210. to buy food. Do you think Jesus was interested in

  211. getting the drink of water? Because I challenge you read

  212. the whole chapter, you find he didn't take a drink.

  213. He did not take a drink. You see, Jesus is

  214. interested to have or to start a conversation with you

  215. and me. Did you know that about your Lord in Savior?

  216. He wants to have a conversation with us. And what

  217. is this conversation for? You're about to learn it's about

  218. to address the deep most seated questions of our heart.

  219. But do you think when you want to start a

  220. conversation with somebody, you straight away, like the doctor here,

  221. will say the theory of EA equals MC squared. This

  222. is the reason why we have nuclear power or nuclear bombs.

  223. And he's talking to a five year old. Do you

  224. think a five year old is going to be appreciative

  225. or is the five year old going to be appreciative

  226. of a conversation? Do you like ice cream? And yeah,

  227. I also like ice cream? And you got something in common.

  228. Jesus wants to start a conversation. This is the Lord

  229. of Lords in the King of Kings, the make of

  230. the universe. When he came to this woman, do you

  231. think he started with the questions of life? No, he

  232. started with something that the woman could understand I matter, Well,

  233. there's water down there, can you give me a drink?

  234. Jesus needed to start a conversation. Then the woman of

  235. Samaria said to him, how is it that you, being

  236. a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?

  237. For Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. You know

  238. that's it seems straight right the Lord today, as I

  239. was praying for this delivery to you'all, put in my

  240. heart that this woman was actually questioning his motive. You see,

  241. when somebody wants to do something for us, your first

  242. response is why why do you want to do? What

  243. do you want from me? Am? I speaking to real people?

  244. And is it true when somebody does something good for you?

  245. And as course parents, I like this. You know suddenly

  246. as a kid is doing something nice in the house. Okay,

  247. what do you want? Dad? How much? Why not? Every

  248. time my kids give to me, dad how much? That

  249. was my response? You or sometimes dad? No? No, you

  250. can ask me a question now that I've given you

  251. the answer. Ready. No, this is how I used to

  252. be my kid's life. Tough name, but it's like that.

  253. So this woman just behave like all of us that

  254. when somebody comes to talk to us, and somebody comes

  255. to reach out to us, we have in our hearts

  256. what do you want from me? How many of you

  257. when somebody first shared Jesus with you felt that way?

  258. The world has twisted us so much that we cannot

  259. even see good, even if it's staring us in the face.

  260. And Jesus is good. So when Jesus wants to have

  261. a conversation with us, do you think he wants to

  262. get something out of you? Or he wants to give

  263. you something? The Bible tells me for God to love

  264. the world that he gave is only beconcerned. Whosoever believes

  265. in him should not perish, but have ever last thing

  266. like who did the giving first? Who read the good

  267. stuff first? Wasn't it Jesus? And here we think that

  268. he wants something from us? Let me tell you, is

  269. there anything that you and I can give to the

  270. Lord that he doesn't already have? Think about it. He

  271. owns everything everywhere all at the same time. So why

  272. is it that when he approaches us we say, what

  273. do you want? I think we should change the way

  274. we talk. And when Jesus approaches us a we should

  275. ask this question, Lord, what are you about to give

  276. us thank you in advance? True? I mean you come

  277. to church on a Sunday, do you ever thank God

  278. in advance for the Word of God that you're going

  279. to receive in the morning before the Word is even preached.

  280. Because see, if you can do that, I can assure

  281. you the Lord will speak to you every time, not

  282. just words that are nice to hear, but words that

  283. will change your life. Because I stand up here and

  284. I share the Word of God. Do you think it's

  285. something I want from you? Or is it something I

  286. want to impart to you so that when your life

  287. changes for the better, that is reward in itself. Hey, guys,

  288. you and I, we're gonna understand something about Jesus. So

  289. the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans all the more,

  290. I am telling you Jesus is very specific with his

  291. desire to want to get to have a conversation with us. Okay,

  292. let's move on verse ten. So Jesus answered and said

  293. to her, Okay, now Jesus is about to reveal himself.

  294. You see, the moment a conversation with the Lord starts,

  295. you will find that the next thing that happens is

  296. Jesus begins to reveal himself to us, you see, because

  297. the power is in us, a knowing who is speaking

  298. to us, all right, And this is how Jesus answered

  299. and said to her, If you knew the gift of

  300. God and who it is who says to you, give

  301. me a drink, you would have asked him and he

  302. would have given you living water. You see her, When

  303. you read the Bible, you can make it excite. I

  304. think you see if if do you think Jesus sounds

  305. like me? If you knew who the gift of God

  306. is and who it is who says, do you give

  307. me a drink? You would have asked him and he

  308. would have given you a drink of living or no impact.

  309. The word of God has impact in your life. So

  310. I imagine my Jesus is a hero, you know. I

  311. imagine that he's got you know, just the mere opening

  312. of his mouth will make your heart melt. So when

  313. I read my Bible, I read it, you know, out aloud,

  314. and I try and make it living. And to me,

  315. that's how Jesus would have spoken. Because I tell you

  316. something like that that the woman would have just then.

  317. The woman you see now Jesus is is opening himself

  318. up to the woman, but she doesn't get it. She

  319. doesn't see it at first. You know, you and I

  320. when the Lord speaks to us, sometimes we don't get it.

  321. We didn't get what the Lord was telling us about

  322. that woman buying rice. We missed it. But we will

  323. learn for the future. We will get it. Eventually, we

  324. will understand. So the woman said to him, sir, you

  325. have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep.

  326. Where do you get that living where? Where then, do

  327. you get this living water? Are you greater than our

  328. father Jacob who gave us the well and drank from

  329. it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock.

  330. Now the woman is putting a challenge to the Lord.

  331. I know something. Are you meaning to tell me you

  332. are greater than that which I know? So woman is

  333. actually because he has revealed himself to her. So she

  334. wants to no more because in her mind she's got

  335. her set of heroes. Jesus is challenging her mindset, challenging

  336. who are heroes are? Jesus challenges who are heroes? Are

  337. those thoughts that we think are higher than him? Jesus

  338. challenges because Jesus wants to reveal himself to us. He

  339. wants to show us that he is the Lord of lords,

  340. in the King of kings. Jesus answered and said to her,

  341. I like this again. Let's do this. Whoever drinks of

  342. this water will thirst again. But whoever drinks of the

  343. water that I shall give him will never thirst. But

  344. the water that I shall give him will become to

  345. him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.

  346. So Jesus is now upping the enty. Jesus is beginning

  347. to show off. Because it's good when Jesus shows off

  348. to us, you know, because for Jesus to reveal who

  349. he is to us is a good thing. You know why,

  350. when Pilot tried to get it out of him, Jesus

  351. didn't answer. When the chief priests try to get it

  352. out of him, they didn't. He didn't answer, But he

  353. answered this woman. You begin to understand that God wants

  354. to reveal his glory to us, but in a very

  355. personal way, in a very deep way, because he wants

  356. to have a conversation with us. And I'll tell you this,

  357. if you cannot remember everything I'm sharing with you today,

  358. if you cannot you know, it just doesn't make sense.

  359. Remember one thing, Jesus Us wants to have conversation with

  360. us so that he can reveal himself to us, so

  361. that we can grow into a deeper relationship with him.

  362. That's what is the understanding. I'm just going to take

  363. a drink, okay. So now Jesus is basically saying, what

  364. you think is the best, we'll never satisfy because you

  365. drink from this, well, it's not going to satisfy you.

  366. And we look to things daily. They don't satisfy us.

  367. We look at things daily that keep us. One thing

  368. keep us unsatisfied. And so now this woman understands that

  369. I have been unsatisfied all along. I want to be satisfied.

  370. So she says to Jesus. Now the woman said to him, Sir,

  371. give me this water that I may not thirst nor

  372. come here to draw. She still didn't get it because

  373. she's still thinking in terms of physical water. She's not

  374. thinking about things of her spirit. Hey, you know what,

  375. you think that material things are gonna bless us? They may.

  376. You think that material things will satisfy. They may, but

  377. only for a short while, because after you have it,

  378. it doesn't satisfy anymore. But what you want is the

  379. thing that satisfies your heart, because the things that satisfy

  380. your heart you never go away. You love your children, right,

  381. your children do naughty things? Do you still love them? Yeah?

  382. Why your love of your children is dependent on whether

  383. they good or better? No, you love them. We always

  384. say unconditional love. Right, what does that mean? They break

  385. your glass? You still love them. They give you a flower,

  386. you still love them. Something deeper. It's not based on

  387. something material. And Jesus said to her, go call your

  388. husband and come here. Now this man is really showing off.

  389. So the conversation is going deeper. Right. The woman is

  390. now saying, ah, I want it, I want to know more.

  391. Jesus is now saying he's gonna read. Actually this question

  392. is to reveal himself more to the woman, because you

  393. will realize later on when she tells somebody she's gonna

  394. speak about this. All right, So what is this? Jesus says,

  395. go and call your husband. The woman said, I have

  396. no husband. I need you all to remember one thing.

  397. If there's anyone you need to be honest with about yourself,

  398. it's Jesus. Do not hide yourself from God. Do not

  399. hide whether you're good or bad from God. If you're bad,

  400. go to God and say God, I'm bad. I'm bad.

  401. You know it. No, of course he knows it. Let

  402. me tell you. Are there any good people here? No?

  403. Because the Bible says there's no good, no, not one.

  404. So all of us qualify. All of us qualify because

  405. all of us, according to the Bible, are bad. It's

  406. all right. You need Jesus. You say, if you're good,

  407. then Jesus didn't come for you. I will go to

  408. the Lord and I will tell God God, I'm bad.

  409. I wish I was a better son. I wish you know.

  410. I'm so sorry. I'm not as good as I should be.

  411. I'm so sorry I miss it all the time. You know,

  412. this is how I talk to the Lord. You know

  413. why because if there's any person who must see you

  414. for who you are, and the conversation that you have

  415. must be exactly how you are, it's to Jesus. Do

  416. not ever hide yourself from the Lord, because when you

  417. are telling God exactly who you are, he will start

  418. to tell you who he is. But if you speak

  419. to the Lord in terms that is not truthful, do

  420. not expect him to reply. So Jesus said to her,

  421. you have said, well, you see, this is what I mean.

  422. The woman said, I have no husband, and Jesus acknowledged

  423. her for it. You have said, well, now this is

  424. the part I love, because Jesus beginning to show off.

  425. For you have had five husbands, and the one whom

  426. you know is not your husband, the one who move

  427. with Now in that you have spoken truly, you see,

  428. because the woman was truthful to the Lord, it opened

  429. the door for him to get even deeper with her,

  430. even deeper with her. The woman said to him, sir,

  431. and this is where now understanding is beginning to come in.

  432. You see, when you're honest with the Lord and he

  433. starts to speak to you, you know what happens next

  434. Your spirit starts to see. Your spirit starts to make

  435. sense of it. The woman said to him, Sir, I

  436. perceive you are a prophet. She's You're not normal, you

  437. are extraordinary. You are something special. When she realized that

  438. Jesus was someone special, now she opens up about the

  439. real question that Jesus came all the way to see

  440. her for do you realize Jesus needed to be there

  441. for this question? That she was about to ask. Wow.

  442. Jesus took time out of his busy schedule to go

  443. where people don't go in order to meet one woman

  444. so that he could have a conversation with her, to

  445. bring out honesty from her, so he could reveal himself

  446. to her, so that when she saw who he was,

  447. she could ask him this question. The woman said to him, Sir,

  448. I perceive you're a prophet. Our fathers worshiped on this mounted,

  449. and you Jews say that Jerusalem is the place where

  450. one ought to worship. Jesus said to her, you see,

  451. the real question in her heart had to do with worship.

  452. You see, because if the Jews are right in saying

  453. and that the only place you can worship is in Jerusalem.

  454. You know what it was saying, all of you here

  455. in Samaria have got no hope. All of you in

  456. Samaria are dead because you cannot worship here. God is

  457. not listening to you. You know what Jesus was saying.

  458. I want you to know I heard you, and I

  459. want you to know you have a place to worship.

  460. It's called your heart. Jesus said to her, I have

  461. to do this woice again because it's very important. Woman,

  462. Believe me, the hour is coming when you will neither

  463. on this mountain nor in Jerusalem worship the Father. You

  464. worship what you do not know. We know what we worship.

  465. For salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming,

  466. and now is when the true worshipers will worship the

  467. Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father is

  468. seeking such to worship him. God is spirit, and those

  469. who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. Wow,

  470. Jesus answered her question, and Jesus was telling her it's

  471. not the place. You've heard it all wrong and the

  472. people who've been telling you are all wrong. Yes, salvation

  473. is from the Jews because I am Jewish, I was

  474. born a Jew. But I want you to know that

  475. you can worship the Lord. I want you to know

  476. you can be saved. I want you to know I

  477. came for this purpose that you can be saved. And

  478. how can you be saved? Worship Me in spirit and

  479. truth in your heart, Think about me in your heart,

  480. Pray to me, and you'll be saved. Did you see

  481. this Jesus coming all this way to attend to one

  482. person who had a burning question in her heart, and

  483. it was about worship. How many you have got questions

  484. in your heart? Burning questions in your heart. My Bible

  485. tells me, cockroach there, maybe one of the guys want

  486. to come and get rid of it is bothering. Okay, okay,

  487. there you go. You know, this is the house of

  488. the Lord, and things like this should never interrupt the Word.

  489. The fact that it interrupted me meant it needed to

  490. be dealt with. So if any cockroach feels that it

  491. can walk while someone is preaching the Word, its life

  492. has ended. So you see it. This is what God's

  493. trying to get to us. This is what God just

  494. wants to open our hearts to see that He has

  495. been yearning to come and meet you and I where

  496. we need to be met, so that he can answer

  497. our questions and let us know it's going to be okay.

  498. That's what he was telling the woman. It's going to

  499. be okay because Jesus told her, you come and drink

  500. from me, you'll be satisfied. It's I I am the

  501. one who satisfy you. And then now comes the ultimate question.

  502. The woman said to him, I know that the Messiah

  503. is coming, who is called the Christ. When he comes,

  504. he will tell us all things. I love Jesus answer,

  505. Jesus said to her, I who speak to you? Amy?

  506. Do you realize this was a woman who had five husbands.

  507. This is a woman who was living with someone who

  508. was not a husband, living out of wedlock, and Jesus

  509. came all this way to reveal himself to her. Hey,

  510. do not look on anyone as someone not worthy to

  511. receive Jesus's lord and say, well, you see somebody, go

  512. and share Jesus with them the same way Jesus came

  513. to share with this woman. I love the Disciples. Okay,

  514. they got an impeccable sense of timing. They always come late.

  515. See at this point where Jesus revealed himself to her,

  516. this is elect real climatic moment. You know, this is

  517. the moment, the moment where you know, it's like Luke

  518. Skywalker firing the missile that goes down in Burst the

  519. Death Star, the climatic moment. It's the most important moment

  520. of the movie. And then, like the class clowns, the

  521. Disciples come and they marveled when he talked to a woman.

  522. This part tells me that it was not Jesus custom

  523. to talk to a woman alone, especially he didn't normally

  524. do it. All the more he tells me how special

  525. this event was, how meaningful this event was, how extraordinary

  526. this event was. Yet no one asked him, what do

  527. you seek? Or why are you talking to nobody there

  528. Jesus question. Then the woman left the water pot and

  529. went into the city and said to the men, one

  530. encounter with Jesus where he reveals himself to you and

  531. I that one encounter where he revealed himself to the woman.

  532. You know what it happened. When happened, it made that

  533. woman an evangelist. One encounter, and she became imagine what

  534. happens when we have that kind of encounter with the Lord?

  535. What power houses, what batteries, what lights? We will be

  536. to those around us? And you say, oh, I can't

  537. do it. You and I can't do it. With Jesus,

  538. we can do all things through Christ. Sus strengthens us.

  539. The woman then left the water pot when the city

  540. and said to the man, come and see a man

  541. who told me all the things I had ever done?

  542. Could this be the Christ? You see her? Remember? I

  543. said that? You know? She answered correctly. He asked the question,

  544. that was the thing or the statement or the happening

  545. that she was going to use to bring people to

  546. the Lord. Could this be the Christ? Is not really?

  547. Could this be the Christ? Could this be the Christ

  548. you're looking for? Because this is the Christ I have found. See,

  549. English is a very limited language. And how do we

  550. know that? Because look at what they say. She must

  551. have been so convincing. Hey, look, you know this is

  552. what happened. He is a jewy. It's come to be

  553. with us. He told me everything that I ever did.

  554. Then they went out the city and came to him,

  555. and again the disciples do get it. In the meantime,

  556. his disciples urge him, saying, Rabi eat, But he said

  557. to them, I have food to eat, which you do

  558. not know. Then, So therefore the disciples said to one another,

  559. has anyone brought him anything to eat? They also miss it.

  560. That's why he had to spend more time with them.

  561. He only needed to spend one day with a woman.

  562. Within a few minutes, she was changed. Disciples. He had

  563. to spend more time with them because they were a

  564. little bit slower. You know, I'm like the disciple, a

  565. little bit slower, So he's got to speak to me

  566. a lot. But you know, there's some people that one time,

  567. who the world is changed? You get I'm saying, it's

  568. all kinds of people, Okay, all kinds of people. Jesus

  569. said to them, my food is to do the will

  570. of him who send me, and to finish his work.

  571. You see, Jesus concentrated on God's work. He wanted to

  572. do what God told him to do, and to him

  573. that was important. Do you find him taking a drink

  574. of water? Do you find him drinking water? Was he

  575. interested in the water? He wasn't. He was interested in

  576. doing God's work. And now many of the Samaritans of

  577. that city believed in him because the word the woman

  578. who testified, he told me all that I ever did.

  579. Do you realize that they hadn't even seen Jesus, but

  580. because of what this woman said, they believed you and I.

  581. When we accepted the Lord, had we seen Jesus or

  582. we listen to what somebody said and we begin to believe.

  583. You remember that testimony I told you about that person

  584. who was dying who said, I will not accept the

  585. Lord unless I see him. And then the Lord gave

  586. that that question do you play badminton? And after that

  587. question he accepted the Lord you see, it's not about seeing.

  588. When you speak what's in your heart the truth, people

  589. will here listen to this man. So he told me

  590. all the time. And so when the Samaritans had come

  591. to him, they urged him to stay with them, and

  592. he stayed there two days. Jesus stayed in a landa

  593. that they was not supposed to stay. He stayed at

  594. to mo days. You know why they were interested to hear.

  595. You want the Lord to stay with you. You want

  596. the Lord to linger with you. Be interested in what

  597. he has to say. It's as simple as that. Be

  598. interested in what he has to say. And they urged

  599. him to stay in his stead, and many more believe

  600. because of his own word. But then now they say

  601. to this woman, now we believe not because of what

  602. you said, for we ourselves have heard him, and we

  603. know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of

  604. the world. That means that's why I was telling you,

  605. could this be the Christ? Actually, you see what it

  606. says here. We know that this is indeed the Christ,

  607. the Savior of the world. The woman had told them,

  608. I have met Christ, the Savior of the world. See

  609. this is how you understand the whole conversation because the

  610. people were now saying, it's not because of what you said.

  611. Just because of what you said, we believe for ourselves.

  612. We believe in him because of what you said. Now,

  613. because we have a relationship with him, we believe for ourselves.

  614. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
