  1. I'm just so excited to just share God's work with

  2. all of you. And so if you are taking down notes,

  3. you know, the title message today is called Revived and

  4. Reconciled to Reach. Revive and reconcile to Reach. I thought,

  5. it's my first time coming to preaching XPG, I needed

  6. to have a message that sounded a little bit more intellectual.

  7. And because I know you guys are used to like

  8. pass the elving and all that. You know, usually i'll

  9. get stuff like, you know, Parable of the Baby or

  10. Mosquito or something stuff like that. But you know, but

  11. don't just the titles just there to help us frame

  12. our thoughts. But let's look at some scripture first. It's okay,

  13. we're gonna read three blocks of scripture and then we're

  14. gonna unpack them together, and then we're gonna just you know,

  15. and then we're gonna maybe learn three take on points

  16. and then we can have more conversation after service. Amen.

  17. And so the first passion scripture that we want to

  18. turn to is John chapter twenty one, John one, verse

  19. fifteen to nineteen. John twenty one, fifteen to nineteen. If

  20. you have your Bibles, you can turn to it. Otherwise

  21. we also have it flash up on the screen for you,

  22. and we can read it, you know, together. Even so,

  23. if your dad can't hear, good, Amen, Amen, let's go. So,

  24. when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter

  25. Simon son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?

  26. He said to him, yes, Lord, you know that I

  27. love you. He said to him, feed my lambs. He

  28. said to him again a second time, Simon, son of Jonah,

  29. do you love me? He said to him, yes, Lord,

  30. you know that I love you. He said to him,

  31. ten my sheep. He said to him the third time, Simon,

  32. son of Jonah, do you love me? And Peter worst

  33. was grieved because he said to him the third time,

  34. do you love me? And he said to him, Lord,

  35. you know you know all things. You know that I

  36. love you, And Jesus said to him, feed my sheep.

  37. Most shortly, I say to you, when you were younger,

  38. you girded yourself and walked where you wish. But when

  39. you are old, you will stretch out your hands and

  40. another will gird you and carry you where you do

  41. not wish. This he spoke, signifying by what death he

  42. would glorify God. And where spoken this he said to him,

  43. follow me, follow me. Amen, Let's just let God's words

  44. soak in a little bit into our hearts. And let's

  45. turn to Second Corinthians, chapter three, and you're gonna read

  46. from verse two to three. Second Corinthians three, Verse two

  47. to three. Amen, this apostle Paul writing, he says, you

  48. are our epistle, just an old English word of saying,

  49. you are our letters. You are our epistle, our letters

  50. written in our hearts, known and read by all men.

  51. You are epistle of Christ, a letter of Christ ministered

  52. by us, written not with ink as letters are usually written,

  53. but by the spirit of the living God, not on

  54. tablets of stone, but on tablets of flesh, that is,

  55. off the hearts. Amen. Has let that concept soak in.

  56. So we we we we we just meditated on the

  57. cost of following Jesus and Jesus's invitation for us to

  58. follow him and to serve him. And an apostle Paul

  59. builds on that and says that as we serve him,

  60. we we we we are sent out, and we are

  61. not just flesh and blood set out, but we are

  62. like letters from God, love letters of God, postcards of heaven,

  63. images of Christ sent out for the world to read,

  64. for the world to interact with. Amen with before that,

  65. not all of friends will read the Bible, they will

  66. read you. So what our lives pointing to Amen, Just

  67. let that soak in. We'll build on all these concepts, okay,

  68. and then one last scripture and then we'll go on.

  69. John chapter twenty one, verse twenty five. John twenty one

  70. twenty five. Right, John twenty one twenty five says this,

  71. and this is like the last verse of the Gospel

  72. of Johnny and the very hopeful note. And there are

  73. so many other things that Jesus did which if they

  74. were written one by one, I suppose that even the

  75. world itself could not contain the books that would be

  76. written a man. Amen, And so a possible job. And

  77. it's such a hopeful note that, you know, building upon

  78. all these concepts. Right, we're invited to follow Christ. And

  79. it was set out into the world as love letters

  80. of God. And and and his hope is that is that,

  81. you know, we as more and more people sent out

  82. we and and and more people having their lives written

  83. by God overwritten by God one by one. His hope

  84. is as the hope of our Church, that the whole

  85. earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory

  86. of God. Amen. Infact, he goes further, He says, made

  87. the whole world not have enough space for the beautiful

  88. stories of the many lives and many things that Jesus

  89. have done. Amen. So I just want us to just

  90. you know, read the scripture and then you know, we

  91. can tell some jokes and then if you can go home, no,

  92. that's okay, you know, And and I just want us

  93. to just listen to this scripture and just meditate on them.

  94. And you know, you know this month of curs Uh

  95. is uh. You know, an emphasis on missions and prayer

  96. as you have heard from announcements earlier on you know,

  97. missions conference is coming up. Uh. And of course you

  98. know we have the days of Prayer fast coming up.

  99. But having they know that this even though we're doing it,

  100. and there's an emphasis this month and the next month

  101. even for it. But it's just an emphasis. You know,

  102. the Law desires that this not just be an occasional thing,

  103. but he desires this to be an all the time thing. Right.

  104. And but the thing is, when it comes to you know,

  105. missions and being used by God, you know, usually our prayer.

  106. It's not God send me, God used me in many times,

  107. or prayer's like God send my neighbor, use my neighbor.

  108. God send my home group leader, you know, send that

  109. that person you know who likes to talk a lot

  110. in ter send him, you know. But God wants us

  111. to know that He is in the business of involving us,

  112. using us. And you see this established in the first

  113. passage of scripture that we read. No, you have that. No,

  114. Jesus after breakfast. This is you know, after Peter, you know,

  115. was invited back by Jesus. Jesus went out to seek

  116. for him and all of us here at one time.

  117. The other God went out the way to seek for us.

  118. But you know, maybe something we're going on. I still

  119. where God. You know it was that auntie who brought

  120. me to church. Yeah, the Lord went out to seek

  121. for you in the not in the form of your auntie.

  122. Don't don't, don't have weird thoughts about that. But but

  123. but through your auntie, through your youth pastor, through your

  124. high school teacher, through your neighbor, through that family member,

  125. the Lord went out. The Lord used their lives. The

  126. Lord impacted them and used their life to invite you

  127. to to have a conversation with you, and that is

  128. the heart of God. Jesus went out and he invited

  129. Peter back for breakfast, and then he began to you know,

  130. have breakfast and begin to say, Peter, do you love

  131. me more than these? And he wasn't talking about fish,

  132. he wasn't talking about breakfast. I know some almost here

  133. we really love breakfast, you know. Since coming back to Malaysia,

  134. I was reminded how much Malaysians love eating, you know,

  135. and and in the first week I resisted it, you know,

  136. like a typical you know Malaysia who's been overseas a lot.

  137. You know, I came back, you know, with a fake accent.

  138. I'm just I didn't uh this, this accent can't change,

  139. you know. Every time and stand out here, and I

  140. get so nervous when people people say, you know, like, oh,

  141. it's our passer from London. I'm thinking, please don't say that,

  142. Please don't say that. They're going to expect a white guy,

  143. you know. So the moment I step up, disappointment number one.

  144. You know, hey, he's not white. It was this man.

  145. And then disappointment number two. The moment I opened my

  146. mouth is like, what what kind of what kind of

  147. accent is that? You know? And you know it's it's

  148. it's you know, it's it's I've just lost my part. No no,

  149. So I came back and you know, I and I

  150. realized that man Malaysians love eating, eating, eating, eating, eating,

  151. and uh and and and Jesus is saying that, hey,

  152. do you love me more than this? Do you love

  153. me than the good things in your life? And and

  154. that's what the fish and the bountiful catch represent, the

  155. good things, the blessing. You love me more than the blessings,

  156. Jesus is asking us today, do you love me more

  157. than even I don't know your comforts, because maybe that's

  158. what fishing represented to Peter his comfort zone. And God

  159. is saying that, hey, I love you, and we've been

  160. through quite the adventure, but I'm inviting you to write

  161. a new chapter. And a lot of us here, you know,

  162. it's so good to come back and to see some

  163. of the people that we've had a privilege of doing

  164. live with in the UK comeback and they're serving and

  165. they're doing well and a looking more, looking more beautiful

  166. every day, and it's so good to see you know,

  167. some of our friends who we last hung out ten

  168. years ago, looking a little bit older but still very

  169. beautiful and uh you know, introducing now their beautiful children

  170. to us and all these kind of things, you know,

  171. or they're beautiful pets for those who don't have children,

  172. or their wonderful cass whatever it is that you're into.

  173. And and you know, sometimes when we look back, you know,

  174. like like you know, pass Elvin and I can look

  175. bad and like he said, you know, yeah, we used

  176. to go out and we used to you know, have

  177. x TV that the chairperson's job in in the know

  178. before times next church used to be so easy. Uh,

  179. they just had to come up and then do it.

  180. Now time you just say and now fix your eyes

  181. on the screen, Uh take it away x TV and

  182. then you know, to be presenters coming out and he

  183. will be past the Alvin passa. Elvin will be the

  184. main brain in the early days filming it, you know,

  185. producing it, editing it just before life with Jessica of course,

  186. you know, that's why he had time to to you know,

  187. and uh, you know I also wasn't married yet. You

  188. also we had time to go out and paint the

  189. town red. You know, we will come out with comedies

  190. kids many times on the spot, you know, and so

  191. it was it was really fun and things like that.

  192. You know that. Of course, when he got married that

  193. he said that it passed not very not very sustainable.

  194. You know, we do this every you know anyway, I'm

  195. just okay, but but we used to paint the town

  196. rare and do crazy things for the Lord. And some

  197. of us here were like that too. You know you

  198. look back and go like it's all you know, serve

  199. the Lord what like Peter served the Lord? You know,

  200. because Peter by then had really loved his vocation and

  201. followed Jesus around Israel for three years three and a half.

  202. Some people say they've been through a lot of things.

  203. He sliced some ears and seen the years farmed back again.

  204. He's seeing Jesus raise the day, he's seeing stuff. He's

  205. fat the thousands, he's he's, he's, he's, he's. He's had

  206. a very powerful and fruitful three years of ministry. And

  207. for some of us here we are in a similar

  208. situation like Peter. You know, right now the Lord is

  209. good and there's a blessing in your life. And when

  210. you look back even feels like I've done my share

  211. of ministry and now you're comfortable or not, just that

  212. you look back and you see your ministries with with

  213. with great pride, You see your past testimonies with great pride,

  214. and you go like wow, you hold it up like trophies.

  215. And that's exactly what Jesus was challenging. Jesus is saying, Peter,

  216. do you love me more than these, more than the blessing,

  217. more than the comfort, more than even that monumental first miracle.

  218. Let's not forget when when when Peter first met Jesus

  219. it was. It wasn't just you know, a good day,

  220. good meeting. You know, sometimes you remember you not orders

  221. remember the first time met you La. We're both new

  222. to church and we have those moments right with some

  223. of us here, Oh the first time I met you,

  224. you know, you wore that funny shirt. But the first

  225. time jeans be the met that it was marked by

  226. a miracle. And sometimes we can look back and our

  227. passed and go like wow, the miracles, you know, and

  228. and and hold you up like the trophy, hold it

  229. up like like our personal Oscar golden globes, and just

  230. just leave it there and and like Peter, be tempted

  231. to go into retirement mode. And Jesus is saying, do

  232. you love me more than this? You know, would you

  233. come with me again, and and and and and create

  234. new miracles? Would you come out of your retirement again?

  235. Because that's the heart of God. God is not into moments.

  236. God is not into ministry for ministry state. God wants

  237. to change our ordinary lives and make us into a

  238. movement for him. God's not into building monuments. God's into

  239. creating movements. And he's saying to Peter, Peter, I've redeemed you,

  240. I've reviving you right now. I'm reconciling with you right now.

  241. But would you say yes to to coming a one

  242. more adventure with me to reach the world? And that

  243. is the same invitation. I believe that God wants to

  244. extend to all of us here today, because some of

  245. us here. You know, it's not that you don't love God.

  246. You do. But right now you're coasting and you're saying

  247. to yourself, I've done that. It's time for the next

  248. generation to take over, you know. And there's nothing wrong

  249. with rest. Pray, strap for rest. I don't even leave

  250. this place thinking you know, I'm so bad at us

  251. to say, can all rest you again? No? No, no, not rest,

  252. please rest. But I'm also about continuation. I'm also about legacy,

  253. and yes, rest. But then now Jesus is saying that, hey,

  254. would you come with me? And you can see in

  255. Jesus is phrasing, you know, it's like, would you come

  256. with me? And and and and and serve with me

  257. all the way until you're old of age. Now you're young,

  258. you're ready to go wherever. But will come a time

  259. where you'll still serve me, and you'll you'll be older,

  260. but you still serve me, and we will still have

  261. an adventure. Because even the way he died glorified God.

  262. I don't know about you, but you know I want,

  263. by the grace of God, many moments in my life

  264. to glorify God, you know, and and and My hope

  265. is you know, maybe you know I I hope it's

  266. not too more. But I noticed young children here. But

  267. let's talk about death for a while there. Have you

  268. talked about death? You know? Recently, you know, as supermarket,

  269. somebody from a cemetery approached me. Have you thought about

  270. death like all the time? Uh, and and I'm not

  271. talking about writing a will. I'm not talking about preparing

  272. your plots. Even those are wonderful things if the lot

  273. leads you to do them, great. But I'm thinking about

  274. how my death, what count? What would I leave behind?

  275. What count? Name and legacy? What I now? Especially with

  276. a newborn son, I'm thinking. You know, first of all, I,

  277. me and that have a very dark sense of humor,

  278. so we're always joking about like, no, you know we

  279. have a child, so late in age, will I be

  280. alive to see my child, you know, get married and

  281. stuff like that. Uh and uh. But more than you

  282. know seeing him get married and all that, I'm like,

  283. what would I leave behind? You know, when when when

  284. I die? Would my death glorify God? Woman? And I

  285. don't mean like you know, I'm not like action movie.

  286. I'm not talking about Samson, you know his death like

  287. you know, he he killed the enemies of God as

  288. he died. I'm not talking about the count action hero

  289. movie moments. I'm talking about would I what would I

  290. leave behind? Would I would I just leave behind money

  291. or would I leave behind something of eternal value? You see,

  292. money can come and go. Thank God for money. But

  293. but there are things of eternal value like testimony. There

  294. are things of eternal value like a good name, a

  295. good family name, things of eternal value like like like salvation.

  296. And I'm and I'm thinking these kind of things and

  297. and and Jesus is inviting Peter to have a bigger imagination. Peter,

  298. is this really all you can think of? Is this

  299. really it? Or would you come with me for another journey?

  300. And this is the heart of God, Amen, Because when

  301. we think of missions, you know, it's not about set

  302. out there for the select, feel God's designs for all

  303. to be sent out there. Because the Apostle Paul builds

  304. on this and it says that all of us are

  305. involved because all of us were letters. Whether you like

  306. it or not. You know, we are letters that will

  307. be read by men, whether you like it or not.

  308. And his reminder to the people is this that remember

  309. that your letters being signed out there, and you're not

  310. just letters of flesh and black. You're the ink over

  311. your life is of the Holy Spirit. Amen. And that's

  312. my encouragement for us again to awaken you know your faith.

  313. And I believe that God wants us to remember again

  314. that hey, He's got so much more in stall for

  315. us that the missional call is not just for a

  316. selag fuel. The missional call is for all of us,

  317. and whether we realize it or not, all of us

  318. make for amazing evangelists. Amazing evangelists. And whether you realize

  319. it or not, this past week you have evangelized, some

  320. of you have evangel but you haven't evangelized for Jesus

  321. evangelized for a movie called The Fantastic Fall. And then

  322. you go, like, you know, you go like you have

  323. to watch law I give it fall out of Fall,

  324. you know, like like you know you'll be a watch

  325. that you know you share on your socials. And so

  326. whether you realize on your evangelists but for a movie,

  327. sound of us here we're evangelists for food. A man

  328. and all the food they don't do apologize. It's not

  329. a trick question. All the foody say Okay, I wanted

  330. to hear a man so like we can fellowship after church,

  331. you know, uh you know, and anyway, yeah, right someone

  332. for food eats right, we would tell people, Hey, I'm

  333. telling you I just found the best the best you

  334. know sushi in you know, PJ. I just found the

  335. best dumplings. You know, I found the bestest, the best,

  336. and and we're evangelizing. We're telling people, hey, I've tasted

  337. and seen it is good, but you didn't say the

  338. Lord it's good. I taste that and seeing and the

  339. one tin is good. I taste it and see it,

  340. and the great thal is good. I taste it. You see,

  341. So you see you can do it. You just need

  342. to replace fantastic for with Jesus. Hey, you gotta go, liar,

  343. you gotta go go where you know, go go watch

  344. lie watch who, go watch Jesus, watch Jesus. I just

  345. can't follow me to church. You know, you just gotta

  346. go go. You must taste for yourself, you know, the

  347. best and stuff in something as some Lasai the best

  348. person you ever meet. He's my healer. You know. Sometimes

  349. we'll say, you know that wanna the traditional Chinese meason good?

  350. You know that one or the one of the character

  351. that go to adjust your back. You know, how come

  352. you never say, hey, that one my Jesus. One time

  353. from him, my life is transformed. So I'm here to

  354. be positive. I'm not talking down. I'm not making anyone

  355. feel I'm saying that you're so close friends, so close

  356. all of us we can't right and and and and

  357. and the pause. Idea is this that all us, when

  358. we go out there into the world. His hope is

  359. that when people see us, they they see us as

  360. letters of recommendation. They see us as as as postcards

  361. of Heaven, of of who God is, of the goodness

  362. of God. Amen, all of us here we we love

  363. letters of recommendation. Right. Those of you who leave work

  364. and then go to another job, you ask the boss, boss,

  365. can you give me a good letter of recommendation? And

  366. some know, I know here a lot of people are

  367. very prospered in some of your bosses. You've written some

  368. good letters of recommendation. Some you have written some very

  369. pointed letters of recommended But you've you've written right, and

  370. and and and we love it. Right. Okay, maybe I

  371. would just change the terminology, right, because let the documination

  372. something be like, hey, so that's this buster okayay, uh

  373. user reviews, how about that customer reviews? However, was the

  374. last time you you you you know you you you

  375. bought some on some online website and then the first

  376. thing you check is how many people give five stents?

  377. And you read your to see which one of them

  378. are actual humans are not robots, because we turn to

  379. actually detail, you know, and sometimes we don't even read

  380. the five stars because it's too good to be true.

  381. You read the four Sunds because no four sounds like

  382. you know, it's still overwhelming. It good, but you know

  383. there's some one less time means that I'm honesty either

  384. and you read through their lives, don't you, and the

  385. possible as to say, my dear, go out there and

  386. live a girly life and let people read you. And

  387. even if you go like a poster or no, five

  388. star Christians, it's okay because sometimes five star Christians people

  389. don't believe you go out there and go like Hallelajah,

  390. praise the Lord. People go like, so I go away,

  391. go away, the Jesus free is coming, you know Jesus.

  392. But then they go like him, you know it is

  393. ever now. No, he's very cool. He's got red sox

  394. on and his only insight you know, maybe you know

  395. he's relevant. I'm gonna hear lot, you know, No, he's

  396. not so holy five stars on five star that you know,

  397. everything comes off of mouths, just scripture and psalms. No

  398. but amen, you know, let me let me talk to

  399. this four and a half star guy. Let me talk

  400. to this you know, three and half star person. And

  401. you know, and and and and and find out for

  402. myself it's this Jesus really worth it? Amen, But and

  403. and and of course you know, God's hope is that

  404. we do that so that the world will know. But

  405. how do we start doing that? Let's get into practical

  406. a little bit. So the idea is sound, right, but

  407. I'm not. Ideas don't change people. You're gonna actually do

  408. it right, you know, in terms of you here. You know,

  409. if you just have the idea of starting a business,

  410. no business will happen. You gotta try. You're gonna step

  411. out if the idea of serving that idea right, something

  412. is here. You see that here you got a lot

  413. of ideas, probably standing having ideas, you know, listening to

  414. my appreciate having ideas. Right now, I think you can

  415. do better than him. Praise God, Prince God, wonderful. You know.

  416. I want you to do better than me. You know,

  417. but just having an idea that you can do better

  418. won't change anything. You gotta be like, okay, how can

  419. I bring this idea? How can I, you know, make

  420. this happen. And so I just got three simple just

  421. you know, take on points that I hope will help

  422. us to make this from an idea into a reality.

  423. Or if I want to put more Christian words, I

  424. want to help us not just to be hearers of

  425. God's word, but to be doers. Amen. So my first

  426. point is this, right, if the idea of God is

  427. that we be sent out into the world, If the

  428. idea of God is not for us to coast in

  429. our blessing, coast in our ministry glory, but to come

  430. out and to serve Him again and and and the

  431. idea of God is that if you love him, you

  432. should care for his people. Amen. So the idea of

  433. God is that that that missions is. It's not an

  434. option missions. It's logical. If you love me, you're gonna

  435. care for my people. Know if you if it's the

  436. same as as if somebody comes up to me and

  437. go like present, if I love you, but I don't

  438. like your baby, James love. Just so, I'm just not

  439. a baby person. I'm just not a children person, you know.

  440. I just I just you know, when children come to me,

  441. I have an allergic reaction but I love hanging out

  442. with you, I guess, so we're not gonna be hanging

  443. out a lot. Not because I hate you, but because

  444. you know, if you get me, you get my baby.

  445. It's maybe okay, maybe someone's here. We don't have baby,

  446. but you have not that baby, your wife, your significant other? Right,

  447. and how many of you have been there before? Right?

  448. And maybe this is my therapy or or someone you

  449. look at me like what's wrong with him? You know

  450. if we ever? Have you ever had people come up

  451. to you and go like you know, or maybe like Jess.

  452. You know, people come up to you and they go

  453. like Jess, you're so kind and compressional. I tell you,

  454. but don't tell an Okay, don't tell him. I like you,

  455. but is so an insert you know, encouragement here? All right?

  456. Maybe not? Maybe not because this is very very kind couple.

  457. But I have I have I have people go up

  458. to bass Ca and go like, Bassic just became you

  459. and mire. I want you to know one that Basadava

  460. last week's SERMONA I was very hurt. Okay, but I'm

  461. telling you a because I feel like you can understand me,

  462. and you know we will say this. We get it

  463. off our chance. We think we're being clever, but it's

  464. not very clever. It's not very logical because you know,

  465. how can the spouse not get along? How can you

  466. know how? It's the same as people go like I

  467. believe in God by hate his church. It's like what

  468. talking about? You know, church is where we encounter God.

  469. Without the church, how do you come to know God?

  470. You knew God because the church reached out to you.

  471. The church had had Sunday School, the church had a program,

  472. the church had you know, outreach like come on, man,

  473. if it goes hand in hand and and and so

  474. God is saying here, if you love me and love

  475. my people, if you love me, say yes to missions.

  476. We're going to that in a while. Don't don't be afraid. Okay,

  477. I will not be making any auto call for for

  478. China or India or or whichever country you fear the most.

  479. Okay U or UK, you know, America, you know with

  480. which you know. But but I just want to say

  481. that God's this is God's idea, right. God's idea is

  482. that you love him, love his people. God's idea is

  483. that he wants to use us as letters. And so

  484. let's go into obedience. Now, Amen, let's go into obedience mode.

  485. Let's not just listen to word of God and and

  486. and and and you know, get tickled by God ideas.

  487. Let's get practical. So, if God's idea is that we've

  488. been sent out, if God's idea is that we become

  489. like postcards of Heaven, let us of recommendation, beautiful books

  490. for people to read. Amen, for people to discover for themselves.

  491. And it's so important for people discover for themselves because

  492. no point, you know, you just tell you know, God

  493. is God is schol People gotta see it for themselves.

  494. Then the most important thing, or the first thing we

  495. gotta start with it is point number one. Let God

  496. have you before God can send you out, He needs

  497. to have you first. How ma me know that you

  498. can give what doesn't belong to you, That's called stealing.

  499. If you come up to me and go like buster,

  500. I just wan't bless your brand new, can't go honey Lujah,

  501. praise the Lord some brand new? I don't know. I'm

  502. not a cop person. What's that tesla? Is that still? Okay? Okay?

  503. I don't want to drive, you know, not very okay?

  504. And uh uh li'sten uh uh, let me panda to

  505. the Chinese card jaku. And then you go like whoa

  506. by in turns that it's not your car. And as

  507. I go there and open the car door, some guy

  508. come running after me. What you steal my car? Who?

  509. I don't know? My friend give it to me and

  510. my color? But you said you can't give out? What

  511. does it belong to you? So God wants to send

  512. you out. God wants to use us. But are we here?

  513. Are we his? What do you mean by are we here?

  514. Are we surrendered? Let us papers? You know, I'm made

  515. out of papers or anything you can write on. So

  516. would you give God space first and foremost before he writes?

  517. Can you give him writing material? You know? Or if

  518. you're into art, would you a canvas for God before

  519. it turns you to come the next mona Lisa or

  520. whatever it is you know, or even the picture that's

  521. the screaming man. You know, before that you need to

  522. give him material? You Would you let God have you?

  523. Would you let him have your life? Would you let

  524. him have your job? Would you let him have your children?

  525. Would you let him have your future? Would you let

  526. him have all of you? You see a lot of times.

  527. We don't have an issue with letting God have us.

  528. We just have an issue with him having all of us. God,

  529. I don't mind some days, but you know the service

  530. better enna by what the service and here eleven thirty

  531. tell you you know, because we don't mind, you know,

  532. God having us. But we we are very select two

  533. hours only on Sunday morning. And if anything changes that,

  534. if the speaker goes over time, I'm out there. If

  535. the air cont stops working, I'm out there now. But

  536. you say, God, I have I give you all of me,

  537. some of us here. We don't mind you know, giving God,

  538. you know, some serving here and there, uh, some some

  539. giving here and there. But then the Lord is saying

  540. that it's not your serving or even your money that

  541. I want. I actually want your humility, I actually want

  542. your ego. And some of us here we serve, we give,

  543. But don't you dare tell me how to live my life.

  544. And that's why every time you know, know whoever pastors

  545. or leaders just doing their job, just lovingly telling you, hey,

  546. it's disciples first get into this type of relationship you're

  547. you're having, you know, it gets so triggered by it

  548. because for you when you feel the disciple you do.

  549. I just back Monday to Friday. I have a boss.

  550. I don't need a boss over the weekend. In this household,

  551. I am the boss. I don't need somebody, but we

  552. need friends. We need And so when you say let

  553. God have you, it's also you know, and guess what

  554. God uses people. Sometimes you go like, God, I give

  555. you all of me, and we expect, like Jesus to

  556. beam down from heaven and go like, yes, my son,

  557. my daughter, I will use you and then touch us.

  558. And necessarily we download all ancient Hebrew and greet into

  559. our into our systems like the matrix and that, and

  560. you wake up, I know Hebrew, you know, like like no,

  561. it's not no. God many times he wants you, but

  562. he also uses his people to get to you. And

  563. a lot of times we get triggered when it's God's

  564. people you who are you? Who are you? You know,

  565. I'm a ceo, you know, come to church and I

  566. gotta submit to somebody who is not a ceo. Get

  567. my face, you know, and we become very selective or sorry,

  568. so I have very real talk. Okay, okay, That's why

  569. I'm the guest speaker next week. You know, pass Elvin

  570. can hug you and all that. I'm just I'm not

  571. saying to do the damage. And then you know, go

  572. out there, but but someone's no, so we we spres selective.

  573. I don't even want to go to that church because

  574. that's where all the businessmen are at because I can network.

  575. I only go to that church because you know, it's

  576. all with the passes, only positive and won't speak into

  577. my life. Sorry, you're an extra if you're not here,

  578. Passa Elven notices. If you're not here, you get a

  579. text message lovingly, hey didn't see you last week? You okay?

  580. You get so angry by that text message, not realizing

  581. the other person is standing with fear and trembling. You

  582. think the person wants to be hated. I'm not trying

  583. to be busy body. I'm not trying to jugg out

  584. kind to be around line and see my my bassa

  585. like you know, Rusty, not like Passa Elvin. But you know,

  586. I'm just like you know, I'm not trying to be extually,

  587. not trying to be busy, but I'm just trying to love.

  588. I'm just trying to and sometimes we go like God

  589. I want to give you my all. It's gonna be

  590. you only cut out the middle man. Guess what God

  591. uses middle man call the church. God uses middle man

  592. call you and me. And a lot of times we

  593. come in and we we we and God is saying that, hey,

  594. you're gifted, but your ego is getting in the way

  595. and that's why, you know. And I'm saying this as

  596. as a man who is getting older. I'm in my

  597. forties now and my eyesight is first thing to go.

  598. And I realized this sometimes, you know, the older we get,

  599. the more know we all we think, and we come

  600. to church and we don't even pay attention. We come

  601. to church, you know, we're at the backseat and then

  602. we're playing I don't know, golf, or watching TV or

  603. playing some game, or surfing the news or watching more

  604. important stuff like stop and no wonder our lives are

  605. so damaged. No wonder, our lives are not changed. You

  606. say it, But I go do church work. Yeah, but

  607. what are you doing in church while you're there? Can

  608. God have all of you? And I'm not, you know,

  609. trying to make us do impossible things. But let's start small.

  610. If you if you have, if you are obsessed with

  611. your phone? Can you you know, okay, let me let

  612. me meet you wear you're at okay, Okay. If I

  613. say ELVI has issue of this, this is just me okay,

  614. my suggestion, okay, my suggestion? Is this all right? If

  615. you are curly only willing to give God two hours

  616. of your time Sunday, that's it. Don't go to homes,

  617. don't go to premitting. Hey, Jesus loves you. I love you.

  618. This is church, welcome home. Then at least can you

  619. make those two hours super quality? Can you at least

  620. can you at least start that? Because God's not against

  621. incremental change? You know no, God would celebrate your zero

  622. point one increase zero point two increase. But but can

  623. you give God zero point one more so? So, even

  624. if two hours, can you say for the next two hours,

  625. I will turn off my phone for the next two hours.

  626. I am locked in because guess what we can do it.

  627. Don't come up to me saying don't understand what ADHD

  628. I's like. No, no, no, you watch a movie. You

  629. can binge You know when when when Street Again come out?

  630. You binge it all in one night. You're able to

  631. focus with laser like precision. You can do it, but

  632. would you do it for the Lord? Let God have

  633. you friends? Can you give him full two hours? I

  634. tell you, if you can do that, not only will

  635. your spiritual life increase. If you're marry, your marriage will increase.

  636. Certainly you'd be like, WHOA, your wife don't know this? Well?

  637. My husband now, well, he pays attention low. He comes

  638. back HOMEI looks me in the eye, talks to me

  639. for next two hours, like, wow, I feel so loved.

  640. I would have more children here, like you know, like

  641. like you know, it's it's it's this count you see, God.

  642. Whatever glorifies God, blesses us to God's not about. It's

  643. not a zero sum gaming. A God's not saying that. Hey,

  644. you and I know we sing this right, No, God

  645. less on me more of you, right we sing that

  646. that's right. But it doesn't. But when you have more

  647. of God, you also have more blessing. You as have

  648. more victory, You also have more joy, You also have

  649. more breakthrough because when we have more of God, you're

  650. having more of Heaven in your life. And so would

  651. you let God have you friends? So if you're already

  652. giving the Lord in all two hours and all that,

  653. But would you say not, Holy Spirit, would you check

  654. my life, you know, and help me discover my blind spots?

  655. And if the Holy Spirit says nothing, go to the

  656. passel of in because it's impossible that God will look

  657. at us and go like say, man, if I have

  658. nothing to improve, no nothing, no, right, only Jesus gets

  659. this is my son who I'm well please, only Jesus

  660. gets it. So if you ever pray and go like

  661. you know, for the last two years I had, the

  662. Lord never challenged me to to improve my life. And know, yeah,

  663. you maybe need to pray with someone because maybe your

  664. heart is being deceitful. And it's simple, simple rules and right,

  665. simple rules. Right, guys, you understand it. Sometimes you go

  666. to the toilet, We wash our hands, we do all

  667. the right things. We clean after us. You know, we're

  668. all very neat. But we come out and and no

  669. far of our own, we still forget to pull out

  670. our zipper. Turn your neighbors says, he has a point.

  671. Just just follow through. It's gonna make sense in a while, right,

  672. That's why we need we thank God for people other brothers, sisters, no, okay,

  673. brothers not sisters, okay, brothers. The only sister is your wife.

  674. You don't like, oh, your sibling, you know. Thank God

  675. for for for close friends, you know who go up

  676. to us and go like you know, who come close,

  677. you know, not shut out from the other side of

  678. the room, your sippers down, but to go up whisper

  679. next to your ear, you know, and to almost like

  680. body block us for you to like pull it up right.

  681. Thank God for people like that, because the reality is

  682. is we have blind spots. If stuff like going to

  683. the toilet, which is biological to us spiritually, we will

  684. have blind spots and we need the Holy Spirit. But

  685. we also need godly people in our lives. You know.

  686. That's so why when we say disciple, it's not to

  687. restrict you, is to add value to your life. Get

  688. involved in your homes, get some people around you, get

  689. some saints around you. Get some godly counsel around you

  690. to pray with you, to cry with you, to sit

  691. with you, to also call you out when you are wrong.

  692. And when they call you out, don't get offended because

  693. God's using them to have more of you. Because God

  694. wants to remove that temper. God wants to remove that pride.

  695. God wants to remove that ego? Would you let him

  696. do it? Amen? Point number two, I'm running out of time.

  697. Let me choot you on. Let God write you, Let

  698. him write. How do me know that you can't write

  699. your own letter recommendation? That's called fraud, right, you can't

  700. be like but just give me a letter hat Kennedy

  701. and de signed it about them everything else Okay, I

  702. can handle. I can handle. And then you go like,

  703. you know, type everything out on worse nowadays people don't type.

  704. They just go chet GBT. Can you come up with

  705. the best, you know recommendation letter and it comes across like,

  706. you know, like Donald Trump wrote that, and it goes like,

  707. you know, it's great, it's a great person. You know anyway, Sorry,

  708. the best is the best, you know. Let God write you. Now,

  709. this is scary. Letting God have us is challenging, but

  710. that's God's idea. And God invites you know that God,

  711. you know, Jesus can do anything and and he graciously. Now,

  712. the way I see Jesus's conversation Peter is not just

  713. checking him three times and saying, hey, you do that

  714. me three times? Are you you you really love me

  715. or not? He's not he's not, you know, guilt tripping.

  716. You know he's asking, He's asking sincerely three times? Peter,

  717. You sure you sure? I can have you here? Jesus,

  718. You're sure sure? Because I want to use you. But

  719. what but the sound of stuff I have to write

  720. might be painful from you? For example, I know a

  721. perfect ending for your life, but you're not gonna like it,

  722. but it's gonna glorify me. You'll be led to places

  723. that you don't want to go, but it will be

  724. the perfect ending for your life story. Peter, do you

  725. love me? Are you sure she's surrendering God is one thing?

  726. Letting him write is the next level surrender, because what

  727. if God doesn't want to right blessing? You think God

  728. can only use blessing two. I know it's called the

  729. good News, But within the good News people die. You know,

  730. within the good News people were persecuted. It's all that

  731. in the Gospel, people die, people persecuted for truth. John

  732. the Baptist die for the truth. You read the Book

  733. of Acts, Stephen died for the truth. We want God

  734. to use us, We want God to write, But are

  735. you ready for what he's about to write? Would you

  736. let him write? You and say God, new chapter. You

  737. have the pen, and God write the ending that you

  738. think is perfect for me. So I get real here

  739. because in life we can pray for healing, but God's

  740. will might be that you are not healed. And if

  741. there's anyone here who's suffering from an ailmen, and you've

  742. been so faithful, believing for healing, and yet your healing

  743. still hasn't come. I'm here to tell you God doesn't

  744. hate you. God's not trying to trick you, and God

  745. hasn't abandoned you. But what if your pain, what if

  746. your sickness is part of your story? But God, I

  747. want a testimony of healing. But God is saying that.

  748. But I have a better ending. Because if our lives

  749. are just blessing, blessing, blessing, blessing, blessing, it doesn't make

  750. us very relatable. Let me break it down using movie ideas. Okay,

  751. all of us love watching an exciting movie. An exciting

  752. movie has ups and downs. Right, if Superman only ever

  753. had good things happen to him, there will be no movie.

  754. Once upon a time, there was a boy who lived

  755. in a beautiful planet, but the planet never got destroyed.

  756. He was never sent to another world, forced to live

  757. with people who are different than him. The end. There

  758. was once a rich young man called Bruce Wayne who

  759. lives in Gotham City. His family is so rich that

  760. he had no leg Nothing ever bad happened to them,

  761. No accident happened to them. His parents live into a

  762. full old age, and then they died and he inherited

  763. their business. He became a successful businessman. The end. No badman,

  764. no superman. Do you know that in the Bible, the

  765. most blessed man was Jesus. And do you know that

  766. even Jesus had his persecution, had his ups and downs,

  767. He's the most blessed, you know. And so for some

  768. of us here we gonna let God write us, because

  769. we are even overrighte or our idea of blessing, or

  770. our idea of what it means to be used by God. God,

  771. only if I'm healed, you can use me, because my

  772. healing can be a testimony. But God says, but what

  773. if your sickness can be his own testimony? What if

  774. the testimony I want to write, What if the story

  775. are going to write is not one of healing but

  776. one of faithfulness? Because one day in heaven. We will

  777. all be healed, the robber says, we will all be

  778. made whole. It'll be You'll be so ridiculous that our

  779. brains can't even fanthom. But I just need you to persevere.

  780. How many of us you know have been in high

  781. school before? And when you're in high school it feels

  782. like forever forever, right, And you're in high school going

  783. ah on from one maybe you know, I don't know

  784. what you know private school comes nowadays, is you know,

  785. year whatever? But you know my time from one? You

  786. know I've been there before. Don't raise your hand. You're

  787. fum through and you're still single, and you think you're

  788. the biggest los in the world. Fun loves you. I'm ugly,

  789. and then your youth leader, your parents go, you're just

  790. from through. You don't understand. I'm still sick. My friend

  791. fifteen and al really has two girl friends like and

  792. and and Don't get me wrong, I've been in high

  793. school before. Feels long, right, Amen, someone saying yeah, it

  794. feels long. SPM felt long right. It's like this impending

  795. examder's coming revision again. I can't do ad math anymore.

  796. Oh by all from four felt long from five felt long,

  797. but now you look bad. You go like, oh, I

  798. wish I enjoyed it a bit more. Oh you know,

  799. And then you know and and and then the cycle

  800. continues because you go up to you know, Natalie and

  801. Church are girl and thing we're doing is say, Victory

  802. Academy is so tough, tough, and then he be typic cringe.

  803. And then and then you go like A, I don't

  804. know why. I wonder what Jesus is looking at our

  805. lifetime because we're gonna spend eternity with him forever and ever,

  806. you know, beyond time and space, eternity that's gonna make

  807. our time on earth like high school long but also

  808. shot in the greatest scheme of things. But the six

  809. years of my life, you know, I was thinkinger long

  810. but shot in the grand scheme of things. But's so

  811. easy for you to say, I'm out of high school

  812. and I'm still single. But what if I'm not condemning you,

  813. But what if the story that God is writing for

  814. your life is called singlehood? Sow you are like, I

  815. reject that in Jesus name, I cast it out, I

  816. buining it, I break it, I break you, you know.

  817. But hear me out. Hear me out. The most blessed

  818. man in the Bible. It's not joke. The most blessed man,

  819. Jesus was single. One of the most anointed theologians Postle

  820. Paul greatly believe to be single. Singleness is not a

  821. curse because Jesus wasn't cursed, right, don't say that, y'are Jesus.

  822. You were single, so I don't have to be single. No, no,

  823. don't you know, because we get into all that he

  824. die so that I can live. You're single so I

  825. can be No, no, no, no, no, okay, wrong theology. Okay,

  826. you know now it's not just the prosperity gospels, the

  827. relationship gospel people have. You know, No, you'll be hooked,

  828. you'll be hoo, all of you will have a spouse. No, no, no,

  829. that's all probably free. No, you're gonna what if what if?

  830. I'm not saying that that is a case, but what

  831. if or what if it was just that few chapters?

  832. Are you gonna fight the writer and what we end

  833. up having? You know, you know, that's that's not our life.

  834. When people read it, there's there's no testimony because it's

  835. all ugly squiggly lines. You know, have you if you

  836. try to write something and then somebody comes and then

  837. slaps the you know that the panel way and it

  838. becomes and God's right there, you know. And then in

  839. the singleness he found me. He's discovered the greater treasure.

  840. And then but then we kept like just stop, stop,

  841. stop it, and then it becomes more and more schooling,

  842. more and more unreadable. And then we go into the world.

  843. And that's why people when they read our lives, it's unreadable.

  844. He doesn't point to Jesus right, what if? What if? Right?

  845. Because we serve God, who doesn't promise to bless us NonStop.

  846. He promises to be with us always. And greater is

  847. the blessing to to to be single and half God,

  848. then to be married and far away from God. So

  849. was I'm married, But then that marriage has brought us

  850. away from God, away from our testimony. You used to

  851. be so known to reaching souls. Now you married the

  852. wrong person who doesn't believe what you believe, and then

  853. now no souls are reached. You used to reach fifty

  854. souls in a what place. Now you're desperately trying to

  855. reach one soul. Call your husband that's not hurting again,

  856. thought about but I'm just being real. Do you see

  857. the downgrade? But but you love God right, A love

  858. God to write just I'm running out of time. They

  859. just flashed me and I got negative five minutes. Like

  860. singleness is not a curse. Sickness is not a curse.

  861. Let God write your sickness, your singers. Whatever set back

  862. you believe, your your your your unemployment, that that could be.

  863. You know, when you go through stuff, you're you're different

  864. when you go through you know, when when can I

  865. first went over there, it was tough. Two missionaries living

  866. one of the most expensive places to live on single

  867. income is tough. We used to, you know, serve the day,

  868. serve the Lord the whole day, and then at night

  869. you all do some grocery shopping and then we're to

  870. shop at the reduced out that it's about to you know,

  871. it's you know, back over that they had the you

  872. know best before and use by. So if it's after

  873. the best before, it's cheaper because you can still use it.

  874. And we used to shop just to save mine because

  875. that's all that we have. We used to you know

  876. before James's whole hands and instead the one little top

  877. of tear MISU wondering can we spend another one pound

  878. ninety five because we just don't have the budget. But

  879. it's been such a long day. We would love to

  880. have a little treat, and and and and God didn't

  881. immediately the next day drop bags of money. And my

  882. friend Dawn never passicare and to go through three years

  883. of unemployment before the Lord open a door for her.

  884. When she finally surrendered God that you will be done,

  885. then the law begin to move. But now that three

  886. years of unemployment, the years of I don't want to

  887. say living in poverty, but living with a need. Now

  888. allows us to speak a language to people who are

  889. going through the same thing. Now when they when I

  890. meet other people are going to sit, they're going through unemployment,

  891. going through you know, financial hardship. When I speak to

  892. your life, there is a lingo that I speak there

  893. other people who haven't gone through can't speak. When you're

  894. sick and still be faithful, still believing God for healing,

  895. there is a language of love and tenderness and grace

  896. that you can speak. It's like a language. People can't

  897. believe the gospel if it's not in the language that

  898. they understand. And sometimes that language is called pain, that

  899. language is called loneliness. The language is called abandonment. And

  900. the lawd is allow you to go through it so

  901. that you can speak it and be a blessing. Right.

  902. Let God have you, Let God write you point number three.

  903. Let God send you letters are meant to be sent.

  904. Doesn't matter if you have the best, the best letter

  905. of recommendation. It can come from you know, whichever leader,

  906. corporate leader of your you know choice. But if you

  907. just you know, have it and frame it on your

  908. wall and hang it there, there's no power and says

  909. some personal encouragement. And wonder God is wondering. Am I

  910. Christians just living for personal encouragement? Or are they being

  911. sent out? You see you I I you know. Let's say,

  912. you know, uh, let's say when Billy Graham was still alife,

  913. he met Paster Elvin and then wrote a great letter

  914. of recommendation. I Billy Graham fully endorsed this young man.

  915. You know, when I talk to him, he smells of

  916. the Gospel. He's wrot to be the next best thing

  917. and the next big thing for the Kingdom of the Lord.

  918. He will impact Asia in the name of Jesus and

  919. then signed Billy Graham. Wow, but do you know that

  920. if if you no passe Elvin just looks at that

  921. and then you know, you know, just just kind of

  922. like buries it. There's nothing. But if he hypothetically, if

  923. he sends out, the people will be like, whoa what

  924. Billy Graham said this he I'm a Christian businessman. Now

  925. I this endorsement. I accept. Let me fund your ministry.

  926. You know XPJ. You want to buy the whole PJ.

  927. Come on, let's do it, you know, like right, So

  928. unless you're sent out, A postcard is nothing. Unless you're

  929. sent out, then the people who are not there will

  930. go like, wow, you thought about me when you were there.

  931. You know wow, you know you you you wrote, and

  932. so would you God to send you out very quickly. Now.

  933. God will sometimes call us for overseas missions, Go for it.

  934. God will sometimes call us for local missions. Please go

  935. for it. When it comes to missions, can I just

  936. help solve You don't need to prayer about it, just

  937. go just go. Okay. The one Christian thing you can

  938. do with that prayer is should I go for missions? Go?

  939. Go local missions, go local community? I wish go God

  940. is calling me to shot the missions. You know, go

  941. just just go for the gospel, okay. But Sun's going

  942. It's not about crossing oceans. Sun's going is just go

  943. in and talk to your neighbor because the greatest command

  944. is to love God with all your heart, soul and mind,

  945. and to love your neighbor as yourself. Funny story, yesterday

  946. I spoke with my neighbor for the very first time.

  947. I moved into my condors since twenty twelve, but we've

  948. been away doing the last work. My neighbor moving in

  949. twenty seventeen next to us. Only yesterday. By the whosi

  950. we go talk to them, you got to know that

  951. their names are Simon and Huai, And I'm like, oh

  952. nice you meet you and stuff for that. Sometimes it

  953. starts there, you know, before you start doing missions missions,

  954. why do you get to know your neighbor? First? Bag

  955. them a cake, start a WhatsApp group with them. If

  956. the house is on fire, call the police, like like,

  957. you know, can you start small and but but be

  958. willing to be sent out, be willing to step out

  959. of the comfort zone. Some of us here our houses

  960. or castles or fortress, we never want to step out

  961. we have a cliquish friend group that that's all we

  962. want to hang out, but no step out and meet

  963. people who are different than you. When you come to

  964. church next week, can you go out your way to

  965. pray with somebody you never prayed before. That's mission. You know,

  966. they can stop missions in church yourself by just going

  967. to the back out. You know, you can talk to

  968. you can bring a new comer out for lunch or

  969. just whoever is. Just just be a friendly face. Just

  970. just leave your comfort zone and the friends that you

  971. always fellowship with and go there and talk to someone,

  972. pray with them, offer to get to know them, and

  973. if there is a need in their lives, by the

  974. grace of God, and do your part to serve them

  975. and to meet it. And that's missions right there. Friends. Missions,

  976. It's as easy as getting to know your neighbor. Missions.

  977. It's as radical as crossing the ocean. Some human be thinking,

  978. I said, I don't have a heart. Lit, I don't

  979. have a heart. Maybe you need to ask God to

  980. revive your heart. So can encourage you. This is how

  981. you can have a heart. Was encouraging us, you know,

  982. say nose, pray and say good things about Malaysia. Some

  983. of us really struggle. But you know how God can

  984. heal you and how God can restart this missional heart

  985. of yours. Just take a drive out of salangor just

  986. just the next holiday. Don't go to Osaka. The missionaries

  987. that already blessed, they don't need more Milo. The next holiday,

  988. go to typing word typing, and don't let the people

  989. from typing. Hi there. But but you know, sometimes you

  990. need to go to the East coast some some words

  991. militias have never been to Saa. Why do you don't

  992. take up? Don't drive the can't drive there, take a

  993. flight there, Go to go to Bintulu, go to see

  994. the wood is there, and just go and meet the

  995. people there. Do you know I'm not you know, I'm

  996. now serving the law in the UK. But I used

  997. to serve in the campus ministry. But just a couple

  998. of weeks ago I was invited back to speak at

  999. the Taylors College Chapel. I went there and man, being

1000. just being near the students, just smelling them, not in

1001. a weird way, just you know, just really like I'm like,

1002. oh this. I couldn't wait to tell Puss Steven there's

1003. so many of them. We're gonna go and get them.

1004. This just just just being in among them. My heart

  1005. beats for them. I can I can't. I want them

1006. to hear the gospel. I cannot. Maybe he needs Maybe

1007. you need to take a drive to the East Coast

1008. for you to be among people groups and to go

1009. like God. They cannot live without you. I'm too comfortable

1010. in myselburb. I'm too comfortable in my getting community, you know.

1011. And we're gonna do that. You gotta be sent out.

1012. If you have a heart for PJ. Take a driver

1013. round PJ. But don't go to the usual places. Go

1014. drive around. Pray as you drive, and then you're gonna

1015. be like God. You drive past some housing areas, you

1016. drive past some places of waship, and Emilly go like

1017. you know, drive past some hospitals, and Emily go like God.

  1018. I can't. I can't. I can't live a life where

1019. I do nothing as thousands and hundreds and thousands of

1020. people are going taking one step closer to eternity without you.

1021. Let God, and you don't let wait until God kicks

1022. you out, or wait until God gives you a calling.

1023. God can do that, but you can also initiate that seriously,

1024. you know, I hope you catch my heart, and and

1025. that I hope you catch God's heart. Let's pray thank

1026. you Lord, Lord, your heart is for people. Lord, forgive us. Lord,

1027. when we've become too comfortable living in our air condition

1028. high rise buildings. We know some of us. We have

1029. servants upon servants, we have cars upon cars, and you've

1030. blessed us to be so so good to us. But Lord,

1031. we say, Lord, your word never asks us to rest

1032. on our blessing. And just how you call Peter out, Lord,

1033. would you call us out again? Just as how you

1034. invited Jesus and you asked him if if you could

1035. have all of him? Lord, I pray that right now

1036. you would do that same loving invite and wake up

1037. call to everyone who's hearing your voice. Right now, Lord,

1038. we want to give you all of us, not just some,

1039. but all of us again, maybe for someone else, is

1040. all of us again, because at one time you did.

1041. But along the way you took back your own life.

1042. By God, I said, would you allow me to have

1043. all of you again? Would you allow me to write

1044. and overwrite some of your own ideas? And as he

1045. overwrites He's also overwriting your own idea of a future.

1046. He overwrites, it makes it a better one, a more

1047. impactful one, a more glorious one. It might not be

1048. a richer one, it might not be a safer one,

1049. but it will be glorious. It will have etertal value.

1050. The Lord, help us, Lord to be sent out, Help

1051. us Lord that some people hear. Lord, help us to

1052. just knock next door and say sorry to our neighbor. Neighbor,

1053. I'm so sorry. I live next to you all this one,

1054. but I never bothered to get to know you. I'm

1055. so sorry. But my name is so and so let's

1056. be friends. Let's get connected. Let let let's get to

1057. know each other. Do you know by doing that you're

1058. honoring God because you're loving your neighbor. Some of us

1059. not help us to be sent out to see where

1060. we are working, not as a death camp, not as

1061. a place of burden and curse. Some of us here

1062. were praying God, get me a new job. But maybe

1063. the question we're gonna ask out God, are you done

1064. with me here yet? Did I finish? Did I pass

1065. your assignment? And the Lord says two more years, which

1066. you stay two more years by it's two more years

1067. with louse, it paid two more years with no promotion,

1068. two more years for the Lord for his glory, two

1069. more years so that two more souls can come to

1070. know him. Lord, would you allow us to be sent out? Law?

1071. Send out law, Lord, the next holiday some of us

1072. here take as a family. Let it not just be

1073. a holiday, but let it be a holiday slash mission trip. Lord,

1074. as to travel. Lord, let it be a place where

1075. we can rest in You, but also where a place

1076. where our hearts can beat again for the loss, be

1077. desperate again, for the loss, can hurt again for the lost.

1078. Help us. Lord. The enemy wants to numbers. But right now,

1079. in the name of Jesus, live again. In the name

1080. of Jesus' hearts of stone beat again, and Jesus name,

1081. we pray, Amen, Amen. Before I close to their service.

1082. I just you don't want to give people here an opportunity.

1083. Maybe you see it here and maybe you don't know Jesus,

1084. or maybe you knew him at one time or the other.

1085. But I'm here. I want you to know. Friends. Christiananity,

1086. it's not about having good morals. Christianity is not about

  1087. you know, It's not a Western idea, it's God's idea.

1088. Christianity is simply this. As human beings, we are too lost,

1089. too messed up, too dirty to save ourselves. Despite what

1090. we might think of our own abilities, we cannot save ourselves.

1091. We are like little toddlers who have made a mess

1092. in our diapers, trying to change our own diapers, yet

1093. not having full mortal skills. And what we can do

1094. is not have a change. But it said, we end

1095. up spreading the mess. And that's the history of humanity.

1096. Messed up people spreading the mess all over the world.

1097. But God, seeing that didn't didn't destroy us to start

1098. a new project. No, he entered into this broken world

1099. and he says that I can fix it, and only

1100. I can fix it. And like a young child who's

1101. messed himself, we can't change our own diapers. The best

1102. most efficient thing to do is to grow up to

1103. the Father and says, Father changed me. I've made a mess,

1104. and only he can wipe us clean. Only he can

1105. change our lives around it. That's what Christianity is. God's

1106. so loved the world even though it was broken, even

1107. though the world hated him, but God still loved it.

1108. Loved it so much, he said his perfect son Jesus

1109. to come into this world to rescue all of his

1110. wayward children, the one perfect son, to redeem all the

1111. wayward children, so that whoever who believes in Jesus will

1112. not perish but receive eternal life. Eternal life. We one

1113. day we will enter into the presence of God for

  1114. all eternity, where there's.

1115. Normal pain, normal sorrow, normal tears, normal sickness, normal disease,

1116. normal marriage, even because what we will have is a

1117. greater relationship and greater glory than what we have than

1118. nothing we've ever seen on planet Earth.

1119. That is all great reward in Jesus and with Jesus. So, friends,

1120. if you're here invited by someone, or maybe you've been

1121. found away by you, decide to come back. Today is

1122. a great day to come home. The first thing you

1123. gotta do is admit that you need help. God. I

1124. need you. I tried fixing, but I keep falling back

1125. into the same cycle again. Break that cycle. I need you, Lord,

1126. and believe in Jesus. Would you say, Jesus, I believe

1127. in you. You are my Lord, You are my savior.

1128. Savior means that only you can save me, Jesus, please

1129. save me, Save me from myself, save me from myself

1130. destructive way, save me not. And then after you believe,

1131. after you've been saved, the Bible advites us to commit

1132. our lives because God says that, hey, now that I've

1133. saved you, now that you've been revived, now that you've

1134. being reconciled, can we enter into a committed partnership to

1135. reach the world. And that's what you need. That's what

1136. church is. It's people walking committedly with God to reach

1137. the world. That's why every Christian is called to walking

1138. committedly with God to reach the world. So, friends, if

1139. that's you and today you'll like to give your life

1140. to Jesus, I want to invite you to pray together

1141. with me. He say. Okay, nobody looking around, but I

1142. want you to pray together with me. If it helps,

1143. you can lift up your hands. But I need you

1144. to believe with sincerity of your hearts. And so due

1145. to time, I'm not gonna ask to respond and the

1146. count through anything like that, but I'm gonna invite you

1147. to pray together with me. He said. Okay, you said,

1148. I'm not your Christian, but today I want Jesus in

1149. my life. I need him in my heart. I need

1150. him to fix the mess I am. I need him,

1151. I need him, I need him. Good news. Jesus loves you,

1152. he wants you. So let's pray. Say, Dear Lord Jesus,

1153. thank you for your love. Thank you for your love.

1154. Thank you for your love for me, and for dying

1155. on the cross. Please forgive me on my sins. Please

1156. forgive me. Please wash me clean by your precious blood,

1157. By your precious blood, and come and live in my heart.

1158. Come and live in my heart. Feel me your Holy

1159. Spirit and teach me your way. I now live to

1160. worship you and please you in Jesus name Jesus. Amen, Amen, Amen,
