  1. You're listening to a message to go from X Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. And yeah, the title of the message today, this is

  4. something that I received from God a few weeks back,

  5. even for my own life, and I do believe that

  6. God wants to release this to all of you here

  7. in PJ. The title is dream Again, Dream Again, right

  8. and yeah, dream again? Yeah? Oh man? So the phone

  9. is that your yea, okay. I spend a lot of

  10. time choosing the right phone. Yeah, you know, so it's

  11. okay near mine. I think XTV will just do our best.

  12. I guess it's default fund today. Yeah, but let's next time.

  13. Let's try to find a way to keep the same

  14. fun Bully Kenna. Yeah, I worked really hard yesterday. Anyway,

  15. Dream Again X chapter two of verse seventeen to thirty one.

  16. What does it say here? Let me give you a premier.

  17. You know, this is basically Peter's sermon, right, and it

  18. was right after the Pentecost, right after the Holy Spirit came.

  19. And it reads here, you know, and it's actually a

  20. scripture from the prophet Joel. It says here and it

  21. shall come to pass in the last days, says God

  22. that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh.

  23. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men

  24. shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And

  25. on my men servants and on my maid servants, I

  26. will pour out my spirit in those days, and they

  27. shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above, and

  28. signs in the earth beneath blood and fire and vapor smoke.

  29. The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon

  30. into blood before the coming of the great and awesome

  31. Day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass

  32. that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall

  33. be saved. Okay, And of course, now I mean here

  34. living in the twenty second century, I think twenty second century,

  35. we are experiencing what the prophet Joel you know, said

  36. then and what Peter preached, you know, and he shared

  37. about that about how God has poured out his spirit

  38. on all flesh. Okay, So I'll start with this question. Now,

  39. have you given up on your dreams? Well? How do

  40. you relate now? Are in spirit on all flesh and

  41. given Well? Have you given up on your dreams or

  42. have you lost hope? You know? Some of us here

  43. you know, in life we go through disappointments. In life,

  44. we go through challenges, you know, and you know when

  45. when we all start off, you know, the scripture says

  46. the young men's see visions, the old man dream dreams. Okay,

  47. it's very specific. Why it's like that, you know. You

  48. know the dreaming. Dreaming means you it cannot happen, you know.

  49. But when you see vision, right, it's a little bit different.

  50. Vision is action. Vision is like, there is something I'm

  51. looking towards to. And when you're young, you won't just

  52. dream dreams because there's no dream to dream. Okay, you

  53. just see vision. I foresee myself doing this, I foresee

  54. myself going there. So you pursue that when you're young,

  55. because you don't have much experience or life in the past,

  56. but you have a focus to the future. There's more

  57. time in the future. There are lot of things you

  58. don't know. But when you grow older a little bit

  59. the dynamic change. When you think about vision, you know,

  60. it changes a little bit when you grow older because

  61. you've got a lot of Well, Chinese say I eat

  62. more salt than you eat rice. You know, that's what

  63. the Chinese say. Right through the amount of time I'm around,

  64. I have more experience, I go through more things, you know,

  65. and it's a little bit different. Right. It also means

  66. that you go through more disappointments, right, You go through

  67. more challenges, you know. And we all know that in

  68. life it is a race that we run, you know,

  69. and we hope that we persevere through this race. Right,

  70. And when we go through life and we go through challenges, right,

  71. discouragements will come, la, Okay, disappointments will come. You know.

  72. You have a dream, you have a plan, and then

  73. something doesn't go according to your plan, and it's very frustrating.

  74. It's very difficult to experience. But this morning, friends, I

  75. want to encourage you because I believe that God wants

  76. us to dream again. God wants us to believe again,

  77. you know. And you know, when you start off hopeful

  78. and all, you don't have much disappointments to deal with.

  79. Maybe the disappointment is small. Maybe you know that's not

  80. much at stake. You know. That's why people say, oh,

  81. when you're younger, please take more risks, because you can

  82. afford to take risks. But when you're older, a bit

  83. hard to take risks because if you take any risk,

  84. then you suff for more. Right. So a lot of

  85. perspective is different, right. But sometimes you can also come

  86. to a place where we are to all to believe,

  87. or we've experienced too much heartache to want to dream again,

  88. and then we settle or we tell ourselves that this

  89. is going to be my life forever, where and forever.

  90. It's not long life. It's like maybe I don't know

  91. for me now, I mean, hopefully I live to a

  92. right old age of eighty ninety plus. That gives me

  93. another like forty years fingers crossed that Okay, looking at

  94. my family history is about seventy plus years ola. Okay,

  95. so the time and the clock is sticking. Okay. So

  96. you know, you can come to this place where you

  97. like settle or you're like, Okay, this is gonna be

  98. my life. He's gonna be my family. Okay. You know,

  99. I'm just gonna do because I've tried. But I mean

  100. I've tried, God, I've tried. I've tried so and I've

  101. come to a place where I'm tired and I want

  102. to give up, you know, give up on my dreams.

  103. Maybe you settle out, you give out your dreams, you know,

  104. maybe you used to you know, believe that. I don't

  105. know you can conquer the world. But then now the

  106. older you get, the more tired you are, and then

  107. you know you have family, you have responsibility, you have commitments,

  108. you have you cannot take risks, So then we stop dreaming.

  109. You're quiet, I'm guessing because you are internalizing this, right,

  110. And I can tell you I am also like that.

  111. When you're young, you believe in a lot of things.

  112. But the older you get, the more cynical you become

  113. or you can become. And for humans, our time and

  114. life time is very limited. We've got eighty years, one

  115. hundred years, right, maybe hopefully? I figures crossed? That got God?

  116. People who live until so long on God? God? Okay um?

  117. But God is limitless? Are you catching this perspective? God

  118. is limitless now? Just because you are fifty six years

  119. older and you're counting the days you go to heaven

  120. fingers cross, hopefully go to heaven, doesn't mean God cannot

  121. use the remaining ten years of your life to do

  122. great things. Doesn't mean God won't be able to answer

  123. your dream in the last five years that you have. Right,

  124. how you know sign I used system? How shallow? Are

  125. we to limit our God? Maybe the first sevent years,

  126. hopefully not. The first sevent years of your life is preparation.

  127. I remember when we were going to start fat Fish

  128. as a company. I mean, now we operate as a

  129. department in you know, in the church or in a ya.

  130. But when we started off as a company, you know,

  131. it was quite exciting actually, because I've always been interested

  132. in entrepreneurship kind of stuff, you know. But I don't

  133. know why I got called me full time now, because

  134. I think I've got didn't call me full time, I'd

  135. probably be you know, building, I mean, my someway problem.

  136. But I can ask people who know me closely, I'm

  137. I think entrepreneurially quite easily. Want you know, it's like

  138. like that, like that like that right? And I ask God, God,

  139. what you call me full time? Because full time is different.

  140. You know, you need to have a heart for people,

  141. and all sometime I feel I don't have that. Most

  142. times I fear I don't have that, you know. I

  143. wish that God called me out elsewhere, you know. But

  144. so when the opportunity came to do flat Fish, I

  145. had a lot of dreams, you know, I tell you

  146. one of the dream that I don't know whether it

  147. was happened or not, but one of the dreams was

  148. to do a TV series that will go into Netflix.

  149. That was a dream, right of course we did solve

  150. like a series for suicide Prevention that didn't go to Netflix.

  151. But I know KKM is using it as training for society.

  152. By the way, not famous lab but not not not

  153. trying to brag. And I know Befrienders used that series. Also,

  154. only two episodes that series to do training. Yeah, sure, sure,

  155. so you see I'm not famous, but God is using

  156. the fruit to do other things, maybe things that mean more.

  157. Although I will love that I will become famous, I

  158. can't known about myself and not your Okay, so the

  159. dream died right because things change? Okay, Um, yeah, there

  160. are other dreams. I remember when I was a Campers student,

  161. I wanted to be a rock star. I a lot

  162. of dream star. Okay, a lot of nonsense dream star

  163. now I think about it. I joined a band. You know,

  164. we got uh oh that was crazy man in MM

  165. times we actually got Audience award. Yeah, and I was

  166. the leaguitaries. I don't know why I was legalaries. I

  167. don't know oblige it. Well, one, I shouldn't have been

  168. so a lot of dreams when you're young. Uh. You know,

  169. my wife will tell you that when I was dating her,

  170. I sing her a lot of songs. Now I don't

  171. sing a lot of songs today. I used to write

  172. a lot of songs. Right, and then my heart is

  173. died and everything. When my heart is then I stopped.

  174. I don't know what dreams you have, friends, what dreams

  175. you had in the past. Maybe dreams to start a family,

  176. maybe dreams to be in a relationship, maybe dreams to

  177. I don't know what dreams you had, and how your

  178. dreams died because of a circumstance, because of something that happened,

  179. Because maybe the dream you had wasn't really meant to

  180. be because God had better plans. And we have to

  181. come to that realization that there is also a possibility.

  182. Just because your dreams are not answered doesn't mean that

  183. God's not there. Right. Just because you are not going

  184. to be the top pickupball player the home glacier and

  185. be invited rry doesn't mean that you're not doing God's will.

  186. But as humans, we are very finite in our perspective

  187. or the acaonomyans that's it nothing forever, give up everything, right,

  188. But that's not true. Friends, read the Bible. Look at

  189. the amount of people that had dreams that died and

  190. God brought them to another level. If Joseph gave up

  191. and said, whoe, it's me, I'm not gonna work hard

  192. anymore in the prison, he wouldn't have ended up in

  193. Pharaoh's court, and he wouldn't have been a prime minister.

  194. There was a long short friends, but God was the

  195. one guiding him all the way. God was the one

  196. guiding him all the way. So God wants us to

  197. dream again. This the encouragement I want to encourage all

  198. of you. And at the end of the day, it

  199. is up to you whether or not you want to believe. See,

  200. we have a part to play. And there is actually

  201. a recipe to this. Okay, when I read it, you know,

  202. you know, it's not like really tends that by. It's

  203. a recipe. There's a recipe towards experiencing God and having

  204. abundant life. There is a recipe. There is a way

  205. to live right, and let's study it a little bit.

  206. Let's go back to the Old Testament. Are you guys

  207. or following me, Let's go back to the Old Testament.

  208. Let's read Joelle, right it is. I tell you. The

  209. interesting thing about the Bible is that the Bible is

  210. written in the span of a thousand years or two

  211. thousand years, I don't know how long, Okay, but yet

  212. the consistency of the text is there. So if anybody

  213. comes and tells you that the Bible's not real and

  214. you've got many, many interpretations and no, guys, please go

  215. and do your own study and go and learn up

  216. a little bit about how the Bible came to be

  217. and who are these people? And why is it so consistent?

  218. The Bible is very consistent. It is actually very difficult, right,

  219. to be consistent over a span of I don't know

  220. how many thousand years. It's tough, you know. Why do

  221. I say that? Look at your textbook. Your sbm textbook

  222. hasn't been consistent since the day you'll started, you know,

  223. I think, Vonica, I don't know whether your date your

  224. date like not not, PMLA, SRP or something like that.

  225. I think we read the textbook be like man man,

  226. this alien language, constantly different, is totally not consistent. But

  227. the Bible has been consistent Joel chapter two. Right, it

  228. says here the day of the Lot, the day of

  229. the Lot. Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an

  230. alarm in my holy mountain. Let all the inhabitants of

  231. the land tremble, for the day of the Lot is

  232. coming for eighties at hand. So the day of the

  233. Lot is coming. So when you talk about the day

  234. of the Lot, right, you can talk about redemption or

  235. you can talk about you know, justice that's going to

  236. be served. That means that there is a time of reckoning. Friends,

  237. however you live your life today, there is going to

  238. be a day where we will have to be take

  239. account of everything we've done and said in our life.

  240. That is why we believe as Christians. That means that

  241. everything means something. There is a meaning to things, There

  242. is a meaning when things happen to our lives. There

  243. is a meaning, and we have to take account. No

  244. matter how or where you live, no matter how much

  245. money you have, no matter how intact or functional your

  246. family is, you have to take account of your actions

  247. and your life. You can't point finger and say, oh,

  248. you know, my mother, father doyn't teach me. Well, maybe

  249. they didn't, but God's word is here, and you guys

  250. are here. So we have to take responsibility and take account.

  251. Cannot just point to our background and say it's not

  252. going to happen. Right, So the day of the Lord

  253. is coming, friends, the day of the Lord. And then

  254. what what's the recipe? But saying, well, the next point

  255. is you try the thing. There is a call to repentance.

  256. Now therefore, says the Lord, turn to me with all

  257. your heart, with fasting and weeping and with mourning. So

  258. rent your heart and not your garments. You get that term.

  259. It's very poetic love. Rent your heart and not your garments. Right, hah?

  260. You mean I'm supposed to be naked ran my garments. No,

  261. n your heart means offer your heart and not your belongings.

  262. You let me, Let me try go deeper a little bit.

  263. You know. We talk about offering. We don't talk about money.

  264. Money are sensitive. Okay, let's not talk about a ring.

  265. We talk about treasure. Where your treasure is your heart

  266. is also right. But God is not interested in your treasure.

  267. He's interested in your heart. Think about it. Render your heart.

  268. That's why he didn't ask give me all your belongings,

  269. give me everything you own give me all your infant,

  270. Give me your heart, because when he has your heart,

  271. he has everything. And God wants everything in our lives.

  272. So render your heart, not your garments. Someone's here. We've

  273. rendered our heart to our love one, really, not to God.

  274. That's why when the heart you know painful. I understand heartbreak.

  275. I've been through it. Okay, I've given my heart to

  276. someone and it was stepped on right, can't burned smoked.

  277. But thank God, my heart was with Jesus. Yes, I

  278. like the person, but my heart was with Jesus. That's time.

  279. I'm still here. But if I render my heart to

  280. the wrong thing or the wrong person, then I'm going

  281. to be set up for failure. Return to the Lord,

  282. your God. It's very interesting when the word is returned.

  283. Not come for the first time. Return because we are

  284. God's creation. That is the basis of our understanding. So

  285. God is asking his children to return to him. If

  286. you're here and you don't know who Christ is, you

  287. don't know who God is, return to your father, for

  288. he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of

  289. great kindness, and he relents from doing harm. Oh, God

  290. is so cruel. Last time he goes, No, this is

  291. God's character what the Bible is saying. So there is

  292. a call to repentance. Friend, firstly you have to understand

  293. there is a reckoning coming right, and then there's a

  294. call to repentance. We have to take stock of our lives. No,

  295. some preachers will say live today as slow as though

  296. tomorrow you're not gonna be around anymore. Then some will

  297. scape you want to say live today as though Jesus

  298. coming back tomorrow, where technically he is lakay even more

  299. so now right, I tell you this whole Jesus coming back, Right,

  300. I've heard since I was young until now, and I

  301. can tell you he is coming back because the signs

  302. are clear. For those who know and read the Word,

  303. you will know that crisis coming back he is. So

  304. we cannot live life nonchalantly anymore. We cannot live life

  305. as though whatever it will be, it will be. It's okay.

  306. God will understand, Yes, he understands. But there is a

  307. day of reckoning that will come. So repent, repent, and

  308. there is a promise that comes after that. Joel To

  309. eighteen twenty seven. It says, let me read it. Maybe

  310. I'll go through that later. God will restore what is lost. Right,

  311. if you read that scripture, God will restore what is lost.

  312. And then it comes to the scripture that we write

  313. just now Joel two, twenty thirty two, that says, let's

  314. see ya, yeah, and it shall come to pass, and

  315. afterward that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh.

  316. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men

  317. shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And

  318. also on my men's servants and on my mad servants.

  319. I will pour out my spirit. In those days, I

  320. will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth,

  321. blood and fire and pillows of smoke. The sun shall

  322. be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before

  323. the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.

  324. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on

  325. the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in

  326. Mount Sion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as

  327. the Lord has said, among the remnants whom the Lord calls.

  328. So God will pour out his spirit. So, friends, I

  329. ask you another question. Remember, I say it as a

  330. recipe knowing that there's a day reckoning coming back to

  331. repentance and then allowing God to move in our lives.

  332. But do you know that we're not alone because God

  333. said he will pour out his spirit. God will pour

  334. out his spirit upon all flesh, you know. And those

  335. who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

  336. That's why when we ask people to receive Christ, that's

  337. what's happening. People are calling upon the name of the Lord. Jesus,

  338. come and save me. I need Christ in my life.

  339. It is not an initiation, no, it is. It is

  340. an acceptance of what God has already done into our life,

  341. and then the spirit in us manifests itself so that

  342. we become more like Christ. You'll see. This is how

  343. it's working. Right. But there is a rendering of our

  344. heart snow. That's why there's a lot of scriptures on

  345. like walk by the Spirit and not by flash. People

  346. have the struggle all these things. It's tough experience every day.

  347. I hope I'm giving more clarity to us on how

  348. we should conduct ourselves and what we should do and

  349. why when we have struggled. Peter said, I do the

  350. things I don't want to do, and I don't do

  351. the things I want to do. What's he talking about?

  352. Where I was talking about our daily life? Flower. Actually

  353. I don't want to lie to the person, but then

  354. I did it anyway because I want to save my height.

  355. Actually I don't want to give bride, but I did

  356. it anyway because you know, I cannot pay the bills.

  357. But if we trust in the Lord, and we trust

  358. that he'll provide, then we will do the right thing,

  359. and then we will see God move. That's why it

  360. says here I will show wonders in the heavens and

  361. in the earth. That is where faith comes in France.

  362. That is where faith comes in. And I'm seeing God

  363. move in my life many many times through faith. I

  364. want to encourage all of us. This is the way

  365. to go, Amen, this is the way to go. Let

  366. me introduce this spirit. Who is this spirit? X Chapter two,

  367. verse one to four. Let's read When the day of

  368. Pentacons had fully come, they were all with one accord

  369. in one place, and suddenly there came a sound from

  370. heaven as of a rushing, mighty wind, and it filled

  371. the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared

  372. to them divided tongues as of fire, and one set

  373. upon each of them and they will all filled with

  374. the Holy Spirit and begin to speak with other tongues

  375. as the spirit gave them utterance. The Holy Spirit is

  376. God's Spirit, pour out on all men, and all of

  377. you have it. As long as you call upon the

  378. Lord and say Christ is my Lord, you are safe

  379. and the spirits on you. You catch that. It doesn't matter.

  380. No oh no, only pastors have the Holy Spirit. Only

  381. the oay, I'm not gonna use other clergy after I

  382. just used pastor. Okay, no, no, no, the monk is

  383. you know who prays? No no, no, God said I will

  384. pour out my spirit on all men, or you mean

  385. that I must sayeran yes, yes, that's why you can pray.

  386. You So that's why we pray for people who spread

  387. in tongues. You know, all these other hierarchical issues is

  388. a man made thing in God's hierarchy. It's simple and

  389. I'll go deeper into it. Because men we need, I

  390. don't know, we need to create things like this is

  391. sometimes we create a lot like you look at the

  392. history of church and no, it's all man made. Not know,

  393. Jesus made it very simple for us. We complicated. We

  394. love to complicate it, right, so the Holy Spirit, who

  395. was promised by Christ came on this earth. He was promised,

  396. I will have to go so that my hypper can come. Right,

  397. That's why he promised. Why did Jesus have to go,

  398. because he had to die, faul sceins, because if Jesus

  399. didn't go, he wouldn't have default sins. We got no connection.

  400. We've got Holy Spirit cannot be poured out. You'll see

  401. the flow of how things run. Right. But because all

  402. of this is done, that's why we have communion. We

  403. remember Christ came, We remember right, we remember what he did.

  404. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God. He is

  405. the presence of God. He is our helper. And the

  406. Holy Spirit is a person. That's what the Bible says,

  407. the Spirit of God, part of the Trinity, Father, Son,

  408. Holy Spirit. That's why we baptize people in the name

  409. of the Father, in the name of the Son, and

  410. in the name of the Holy Spirit. You know, every

  411. time we finish church we have benediction. You know, it's

  412. not just done just because of traditional there is meaning

  413. in it. One friends, may you go and made the

  414. communion of the Father and of the Son and the

  415. Holy Spirit be with you all I don'tbody all see

  416. the meaning of it. There is meaning when we say

  417. these things, you know some of things. We do these things,

  418. and then it's like in here out here, like we

  419. don't realize the significance. He's very significant, and then we

  420. ask ourselves, Oh God, why nothing happening in our life?

  421. You activate readly or not the cut you activate readly

  422. or not. Right, you have to activate it because if

  423. we don't activate, it's not on the world. If if

  424. the spirit is part up but we're still living in

  425. the flesh, how is the spirit gonna move your cash?

  426. Diannerd right? So the spirit okay, let me share if

  427. you are the spirit does right, and this might be

  428. something that you're will will feel it, Okay. The spirit

  429. convicts our hearts of sin. That's why we say, you know,

  430. you can evangelize to people right, but you cannot convince

  431. them one because the spirit will convict. Because when people's

  432. hearts are ready to receive the spirit will. God's Spirit

  433. has porter on all flesh, friends, porter on our flesh

  434. will convict our hearts. John sixteen eight says, Okay, Nevertheless,

  435. I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage

  436. that I go away. This Jesus right. For if I

  437. do not go away, the helper will not come to you.

  438. But if I depart, I will send him to you.

  439. And when he has come, he will convict the world

  440. of sin and of righteousness and of judgment. Of sin

  441. because they do not believe in me. Of righteousness because

  442. I go to my Father and you see me no more.

  443. Of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. Okay,

  444. let me break that down a little bit for your

  445. For I hope you guys are following me where I'm

  446. going on. Have you been in a situation before where

  447. you're doing something and then I mean, it's not so

  448. good whatever That something is feeling the blanks, lying, cheating, whatever,

  449. and then you feel bad, even though you benefit from

  450. the act, you feel bad. Friends, the Holy Spirit is

  451. convicting your heart. Why some people they can be evil

  452. and all, well, they got no God spirit in them.

  453. And can I give you a fair warning. The more

  454. you ignore the Holy Spirit, the more easier is it

  455. to do evil. Is ignoring you know, you know, God's

  456. a gentleman. Someone told me this before. I didn't really

  457. understand that. But it's true. God's not going to force you.

  458. He is not going to force you. Oh God, tie

  459. my hand. No receiving Christ is free will. It is

  460. so inclusive that anybody can accept. There is no requirement,

  461. only acceptance. However, upon acceptance it is conditional. You'll catch that.

  462. That's why it's a free give anybody can take on.

  463. There is no requirement. You cannot prove yourself and open

  464. to anybody no matter how But once you accept the

  465. gift of eternal life on, once you accept Christ, it

  466. is conditional because you have to devote in that life

  467. to Him. Your catch there not. But sometimes we are

  468. in the middle. That's why it gets blurry, you know.

  469. And the Bible says we all work in progress, right

  470. I work in progress, Your way in progress, always away

  471. in progress. But the spirit, the Spirit in you, convict

  472. your hearts. That's why you are feeling what you're feeling.

  473. It's not Jiminy Cricket by your side for those who

  474. understand the reference or the Angel and the devil. No,

  475. it is the Holy Spirit that speaks. Let me tell

  476. you what else the Spirit does. Because once you understand

  477. what the Holy Spirit does, then you know how to

  478. activate and you know how to build relationship with him.

  479. The Spirit transforms us as we are being born again,

  480. the spirit gives us new life. Have you heard of

  481. those testimonies when someone become a Christian one hundred and

  482. eighty degree change. One of the persons that I was

  483. amazed that I thought, in my life, I will never

  484. see safe. In my life, I will never see nobody

  485. will save this person. I accepted, Okay, this again last

  486. time when I was younger, I accepted that highly likely

  487. this person's going to go to hell. I accepted, because

  488. no one is going to be able to convince this person.

  489. Nobody's gonna be able to save this person. And this

  490. person was my grandmother, so cruel, elvin. This how no

  491. hope I had. I thought, maybe I can reach my

  492. granddad first and then but you aren't know the cool

  493. thing that happened. God saved my grandma. She was the

  494. one that used to persecute my family, you know, save

  495. my grandma. And then my granddad got safe. And then

  496. a hundred and eighty degree change. A seventy year old lady.

  497. And we always say that you all are you cannot

  498. change your habits are one hundred and eighty degree change?

  499. Is it just the disciple sheep program in the church.

  500. Is it because she got good friends? Is it because

  501. all it is a transformed life because the spirit of

  502. God is upon her? Is she perfect? No, not perfect,

  503. but one hundred and eighty degree change. I am amazed.

  504. So in our lives, sir, there is a chance that

  505. we can change. Never say you cannot change. As long

  506. as God is there, he can help you, you can change.

  507. The question is are you wheeling or not? Are you

  508. submitted or not? I have changed so much from the

  509. first day people know me until I've changed so much,

  510. hopefully for the better. I think for the better? Lah right,

  511. But it is because from my own effort. No, it

  512. is the spirit. Many times I'll be doing something and

  513. then of course make me stake it is, say wrong thing,

  514. and then the spray will convict me. When what do

  515. you do? And I'm like, okay, sorry God. See I'm

  516. willing to listen to God. No, that's why I say

  517. sorry God. Oh I go no, la, God is that person?

  518. But straight away I go okay, sorry God. And then

  519. there's that transformation. Amen. Jesus answered most assuredly. I say

  520. to you, unless one is born of water and the spirit,

  521. he cannot enter the King of God. You know what

  522. just said by water baptism law. Okay, that which is

  523. born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is

  524. born of the spirit Spirit. Do not marvel that I

  525. say to you, you must be born again. The wind blows,

  526. wh it wishes, and you hear the sound of it,

  527. but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes.

  528. So is everyone who is born of the spirit. Basically,

  529. Jesus just trying to say, is a It is a

  530. very say it is a very supernatural thing that happens. Right.

  531. You won't be able to figure it out, but it

  532. is true. So there's transformation. What else happens, Well, the

  533. spirit leads us to live for God. You have a

  534. struggle to live for God. The more you listen to

  535. the Holy Spirit, the more you live for him. The

  536. less you listen to the Holy Spirit, the more you

  537. listen to your friends, the less you live for God.

  538. It's not very complicated, right and Romans eight twelve seventeen. Okay,

  539. let's read it death for brethren, we adaptors not to

  540. the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if

  541. you live according to the flesh, you will die. But

  542. if by the spirit you put to death, the deeds

  543. of the body you will live this time might be

  544. a bit more. Let me try and see if I can.

  545. Have you seen Christians who have given up everything in

  546. their lives but are like the most joyful people on

  547. this earth because they are living by the spirit, not

  548. by the flesh. At the same time, have you seen

  549. Christians who have everything, but they're not happy and fulfilled.

  550. It's not very complicated, right, because when we live for God,

  551. we will be fulfilled. But when we live for ourselves, well,

  552. there will be a death, spiritual death right for as

  553. many as are led by the Spirit of God, these

  554. are sons of God. For you did not receive the

  555. spirit of bondage again to fear, but you receive the

  556. spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out Abah. Father,

  557. the Spirit himself best witness without spirit that we are

  558. children of God. And if children, then heirs heirs of God,

  559. and join heirs with Christ. If indeed we suffer with Him,

  560. then we may also be glorified together. So understanding that

  561. the Spirit leads us to live for God, then wouldn't

  562. make sense sposed to listen to Holy Spirit? More? Who

  563. do we trust? Right? This other coop one. The Spirit

  564. teaches us and reminds us of Christ's teachings John fourteen,

  565. twenty six. But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the

  566. Father will send in my name, He will teach you

  567. all things and bring to your remembrance all things that

  568. I said to you. You know, we talk about the

  569. Bible being the logos word, the written word where we read.

  570. We understand it goes in hate knowledge, but I'm not

  571. sure how many if you have experienced sometimes in your

  572. situation in your life, you get a scripture that speaks

  573. directly to that situation. It is the Holy Spirit. The

  574. amount of times are where and of course you have

  575. to read the Bible are If nothing in, then nothing

  576. can come out loud. So something have to go in first.

  577. You've got to read the Bible first, and then the

  578. spirit can activate all the words, because if there's nothing,

  579. why is it to activate right? Or it might be

  580. red FUZZYLA oh, I think God said this. I heard

  581. the scripture say it's red fuzzy. But when you read

  582. the Bible and it's inside, the Spirit will teach you, hey,

  583. this is this situation where you apply this. This is

  584. this situation you apply that you know, And I tell

  585. you the amount of times where when I'm talking to

  586. someone over that I'm advising someone right where there will

  587. be just an activation of a scripture that is for

  588. the person. I cannot count and if and I'll be

  589. lying to tell you, oh, actually, I really prepare the

  590. scripture beforehand. I really know nothing. Some scriptures are like

  591. just appear like okay, this sounds like it applies to

  592. this person's life right now, and it'll be an encouragement

  593. to the person, and it will give life and peace

  594. to the person. And I released the word. He's not

  595. pass alvina, it's Holy Spirit now, no power. No, But

  596. sometimes we come to a place where we you know,

  597. human's life. We're very simple minded, right, oh, this person

  598. were holy and right, No, it's not a person. It's

  599. the spirit in the person. It is the gifting that

  600. the Lord has given him or her. We've got to

  601. recognize that that's what God gives all the glory, not

  602. a person. Right. So the Holy Spirit teaches you. He does,

  603. he does teach you. You tap into it. The problem

  604. sometimes it's not that there's no teaching. The problems and nights,

  605. it's good teaching. Come we listen or not. Sometimes that's

  606. the problem. This, this, this one more that will encourage you.

  607. The Spirit intercedes for us in our weakness. Romans Etun says, likewise,

  608. the Spirit also helps us in our weaknesses, for we

  609. do not know that we should pray for us we ought,

  610. but the Spirit himself makes intercessions for us with groanings

  611. which cannot be uttered. Friends, I'm the first one that

  612. will tell you here that I am not perfect and

  613. I have so much weaknesses. But every time I hear

  614. someone tell me that, you know, it feels I new performed.

  615. Like even last night, you know, me and my wife

  616. were talking to a young adult and person say, you know,

  617. sometimes I don't feel like doing something. I don't feel

  618. like you know, it feels I have to put on

  619. a face off front and to fake it till I

  620. make it, even in church. Because I'm a leader, and

  621. I say that's so normal. I'll be lying to say

  622. that every time I come to church very happy and

  623. very you know, know, the Lord is with me and

  624. no there are days where we're weak, but the Bible

  625. says when we are weak, we are strong. It's a

  626. promise that God has no is it because of your effort.

  627. No is God. It is God in our lives that

  628. is interested in every area of our lives, in our

  629. work life, in our relationships, in everything in your kids.

  630. God is interested. Can we work with him? He helps

  631. us in our weaknesses. You feel weak today, You're not perfect. Hey,

  632. spirits helping you. You just gotta acknowledge him. The Spirit

  633. gives us gifts for the ministry, wow like bub First

  634. Corinthians twelve seventeen eleven says, but the manifestation of the

  635. Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.

  636. For to one is given the word of wisdom through

  637. the spirit, to another, the word of knowledge through the

  638. same spirit through another, faith by the same spirit to another,

  639. gifts of healings by the same spirit to another, the

  640. working of miracles to another, prophecy to another, discerning of

  641. spirits to another, different kinds of tongues to another, the

  642. interpretation of tongues but one and the same Spirit works

  643. all these things, distributing to each one individually as he wills.

  644. And the Bible does teach us how the Church would

  645. administrate itself through the five four ministry. Okay, I'm not

  646. going to go deep into that, and that is something

  647. that in ext church we are one thing to operate

  648. more and more in you know, the role and the

  649. title of a pastor. I don't know in no where

  650. I read in the Bible that there's pastor, shepherd la

  651. Maybe that's the term we use, but in today's context

  652. what pastor is like ooh thop man? Then what happened

  653. to the other five four ministry? And then is says

  654. that the five ur ministry is given to equip the Saints? Friends?

  655. Can I ask you a simple question, don't have to answer?

  656. Think about it. Who are the Saints? Are you mean

  657. Saint Peter? They're not around anymore? Who are the Saints?

  658. Are you mean? The most holy person here? Need equipping? Hello?

  659. The Saints are all of you to do what to

  660. go out there and live your life as believer us

  661. and to be used by God in wherever you are.

  662. And the role that we have here for those that

  663. are given these giftings is to equip the Saints. Right,

  664. to encourage the church to get everywhere and move forward. Right,

  665. But it's tough out there, so many disappointments, so many discussions,

  666. somebody uncertainty. Right, Spirit gives us gifts for the ministry

  667. and the spirit. This is also power of transformation. The

  668. spirit produces fruit within the life of a believer Galatians five. Right.

  669. But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace,

  670. long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against such

  671. there's no law. And those who are Christs have crucified

  672. the flesh with his passions and desire to see those

  673. who are christ have crucified the flesh with its passions

  674. and desires. If we live in the spirit, let us

  675. also walk in the spirit. Let us not become conceited,

  676. provoking one another, envying one another. See. The issue with

  677. this right is that some of these things that I

  678. just mentioned is very clear on that if we have

  679. the spirit in us fully activated, the fruit will show.

  680. And of course I say, don' judge people are so yes,

  681. no judge people, But I would say this last it

  682. is not hard to tell whether or not a believer

  683. has the fruit of the spirit or not. So sometimes

  684. it will come to me and use the word but

  685. the Persian is a Christian war. I get a big

  686. concern because your title doesn't determine your life. Your title

  687. doesn't determine your conduct. Your title just because you got

  688. name and title. Doesn't mean that you're following Christ wholeheartedly

  689. because some of the things I just read today. And

  690. again I'm not judging anyone here. We all will in progress, okay,

  691. we all try our best and all these different things. Yes,

  692. God will help us, okay, But we also need to

  693. understand that when we follow Christ, we will be transformed.

  694. And if there is no transformation, then something is stuck,

  695. something needs to be addressed, something needs to be crucified

  696. in our lives. Right, and the Lord will reveal to

  697. you friends, God is in the business of restoration. Let

  698. me go back to Droughout chapter two. God is in

  699. the business of restoration. It's very round about, right, I

  700. talk about restoration. But you see there is a recipe

  701. to it. Repentance have to come because if the house

  702. is messy and has rubbish, how are you going to

  703. put new things inside? If the life is you know,

  704. think about it. I just bought a few new taps

  705. that day, right, there was a sale installing. I bought

  706. new tap of ware, and of course got dirt inside,

  707. you mean, got dead inside the tape. I will straight

  708. away take out and put food inside and put it

  709. in the freezer and then eat it the next day

  710. without washing the Tapewa, You have to wash it first,

  711. Mark Corona, How many of you will do that? By

  712. new tap don't wash, don't lift up your hands either

  713. your your stomach weaving power right, or you have a

  714. lot of bower problems. Yeah, a lot of faith, Yeah,

  715. strong kind of faith isn't No, you gotta wash it first, right,

  716. you gotta wash it first. Then it can be used. Cora,

  717. it not so our lives say, now you have to

  718. wash first, and he can use that. But then it

  719. cannot be empty. We are like empty vessels, right, so

  720. have to wash first, clear all the mass, clear, all

  721. the scene, clear, all the nonsense, all wash out, Okay,

  722. and then we empty ourselves and then what just give

  723. it empty? No, and then it's filled with the spirit.

  724. And once it's filled with the spirit, then things start happening.

  725. That's the recipe. Friends. I hope you remember this. I

  726. hope you remember this. Repentance first, filled with the spirit.

  727. Then let's dream again. Let's dream again. Let me talk

  728. about restoration, because God wants to restore what is lost,

  729. and God's one God wants to restore our dreams. Joel

  730. to eighteen twenty seven, and I going scripture. Now I

  731. just share a lasting with us. Oh shucks, I kind

  732. of lost a bitch, I guys. Okay, yeah uh oh,

  733. unless actually has it Joe l Chapter two, verse eighteen,

  734. to goa ah. Okay, then the Lord will be zealous

  735. for his land and pity his people. The Lord will

  736. answer and say, remember repentance versa. Then all this thing

  737. will happen. Okay. The Lord will answer and say to

  738. his people, behold, I will send you grain and new

  739. wine and oil, and you will be satisfied by them.

  740. I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations.

  741. But I will remove far from you the Northern army,

  742. and I will drive him away into barren and desert land,

  743. with his face towards the instant sea and his back

  744. towards the western sea. His s tents will come up,

  745. and his foul order will rise because he has done

  746. monstrous things. Fear not, old Land, be glad and rejoice,

  747. for the Lord has done marvelous things. Do not be

  748. afraid you, beasts of the field, for the open pastures

  749. are springing up, and the tree best is fruit, the

  750. fig tree, and the wine yield their strength. Be glad, then,

  751. you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God,

  752. for he has given you the former rain faithfully, and

  753. he will cause the rain to come down for you,

  754. the former rain and the letter rain. In the first month,

  755. the thrashing floors shall be full of wheat, and the

  756. vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. So I

  757. will restore to you the years that the swarming locusts

  758. had eaten, the crawling locusts, the consuming lotus locusts, and

  759. the chewing locusts. My great army, which I sent among you.

  760. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise

  761. the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt

  762. wondrously with you. And my people shall never be put

  763. to shame. Then you shall know see all of it

  764. has a purpose. Then you shall know that I am

  765. in the midst of Israel. Then you will know that

  766. God is in your myths. You will know that God

  767. is in your myths, and you will know that he

  768. is the Lord, your God, and there is no other.

  769. My people shall never be put to shame. So we

  770. got to determine first we got people or not. And

  771. if we have God's people. Then what do we need

  772. to do? God wants to restore our dreams. And let

  773. me tell you why we go through challenges. Let me

  774. tell you why we go through different things. John says

  775. it very clearly. The thief does not come except to

  776. steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come.

  777. Christ have said that they may have life, and they

  778. may have it more abundantly. So I'll share this personal

  779. story with you a little bit personal, well not personal

  780. that is sensitive, but just personal in terms of dreams.

  781. In the year two thousand and five, very long ago,

  782. when I just joined ex church and the time X

  783. we were five years old, very new, were fresh. I

  784. think about I don't remember how many people at that time,

  785. maybe one hundred plus, I think, you know, and we're

  786. new church, excited, you know, all young people. You know,

  787. we believe that God called us to change Malaysia. Uh.

  788. And one of the things where you know, uh, you know,

  789. the wonderful thing about passes Parsicana. Until today they are

  790. still dreaming, okay, or at least Parsicanias is dreaming and

  791. passes sen Raos. So you know she has annoing thing

  792. with certain things, you know, because she really always encourage

  793. us to not live a mediocre life, but to live

  794. a life full of the spare of excellence. And one

  795. of the things that we wanted, or we we an

  796. idea that came up for us to do. I don't

  797. have a big chure. I was looking for big justice

  798. now that we wanted to again reach out to people,

  799. and we did. When we were planning our first Christmas

  800. production Church Mom Mus do Christmas right, and you know,

  801. there a few of us. I was part of the team.

  802. I remember, uh and uh, we actually had leaders meeting

  803. in Peace Heaven. I don't want to just remember that

  804. the time. We were not together yet. Uh yeah, not

  805. together yet, not interested so uh, you know, but we

  806. all leaders were there young, right, and we were there

  807. and I remember being called for meeting, right me a

  808. good friend, uh, you know, and uh, I think Ellie

  809. was there and then passes Senra and five of us

  810. we sat around at the table at the entrance of

  811. Peace Heaven and we were discussing, Hey, let's do a

  812. Christmas play. Let's start something, you know. Uh, And of

  813. course I was involved. Uh And when I was younger,

  814. of course, when when you talk about production, all you

  815. want to you want to be the director, you want

  816. to do the scriptwrector. But although there's a desire, but

  817. I always, i'm always very comfortable playing a second role

  818. one supporty row. I'm okay one, you know. And because

  819. there was a good friend that was like leading the

  820. charge right then, the personally, the charge, road script and everything,

  821. I'm like, okay, I'll just support you. I'll be a producer.

  822. And that was in two thousand and five. And of

  823. course that started, uh, you know, us dreaming about different things,

  824. you know. It of course started as Christmas play, and

  825. then it grew and then we had this crazy idea

  826. or like the mandate was involved as many people as

  827. you can. So we actually had a Christmas play that

  828. had about one hundred carts and crew. It's madness logistically,

  829. and we had it in a level to summit, you know.

  830. And the title of the show was the guy who

  831. sang the Better song very long, okay, right, the guy

  832. who sang the better song. And we started our foray

  833. into theater and production right. Uh. And I've always liked

  834. the because you know, in film industry and all. And

  835. I took theater elective in college, so I'm familiar with

  836. it now go for a show and stuff like that.

  837. You know. Then we always say like, oh, you know

  838. people who go to the more cultured you know, stuff

  839. like that. Anyway, so we did it. We started and

  840. that was a start, and for the next few years

  841. we did Christmas play after Christmas, and he got better

  842. and better and better, and you know, we were known

  843. for a place, right, we were known for a place.

  844. And of course with the doing of the play, although

  845. are the dramas la okay, because when you work with

  846. creative people, then you have creative drama, right, and then

  847. you have people who are happy not happy people who

  848. and then we learn now we learned, you know, you

  849. have people who you know, we do know that a

  850. place can be as spiritual. So because sometimes we have

  851. the bad guy and then the bad guy really become

  852. bad guy after that, you know, don't know why do

  853. not spirit there? I mean it can be very the

  854. kind of thing, okay and up down, different directors, different things.

  855. And it even came to a point ten years later

  856. that we even thought maybe we could do a player

  857. that will earn money people pay to watch. And that

  858. time I think other Terachus were doing place. And then

  859. we decided to do a play met of the year,

  860. maybe do Christmas because again, but friends, again, I must

  861. tell you we're not just doing play for the sale

  862. or doing play. We want to use it as an

  863. outreach tool. And we also see the benefit of like

  864. a project that all of us can come together and

  865. people are excited. You know, we had non believers joining

  866. us for the play. We had people who experience God

  867. see how we run things. At the same time, we

  868. also got drama people shouting not happy and stuff and

  869. we had to like navigate that and we learn that.

  870. You know, uh, twenty eleven, can we have the photo?

  871. So twenty eleven we did the Tailorman man in I

  872. think PJ Life Arts right here, Yeah, we did the

  873. tailor maman in PJ Live Arts. I cannot remember whether

  874. it was. I think it was this one. It was

  875. this one that we did it and that time. This

  876. is the like I think second or the time we

  877. did the play where we actually sell like yeah, second

  878. time we actually did a play that cel tickets one

  879. we actually come buy and watch, right, and the time

  880. it was Yella right, and I think it was display

  881. I know when they display or the previous one one

  882. of it because we did the Telamentment twice right that

  883. we actually won audience Best Costume Award for both Cameronian.

  884. He I mean they were trying to promote like the

  885. art same Malaysia we actually want to like and think

  886. think about it, it's like who they're right, tailament men.

  887. Next day we did Esther. We also did the play

  888. outside and the year after that we did nothing and

  889. the dream died. I won't go too much into detail

  890. of what happened and what happened, but of course in

  891. normal life things happen. Now, people go away, and every

  892. time we do displays, right, there always seems to be

  893. one or two casualties. One always go on. People not happy.

  894. Uh sorry, I will say this like people get too

  895. full of themselves to the point that this defines them,

  896. and then the moment is gone. Then suddenly they got

  897. issue with things. You know, and I do believe that

  898. sometimes the issues really insitedly one. But it took this

  899. project to let it come out, and unfortunately they didn't

  900. overcome it. I be very honest with you. Okay, So

  901. nothing happened for a while and then a dream died. Right,

  902. It was almost like wow, we reached the top, the

  903. top of the church theater, play seeing con actually paying

  904. good money to watch now, you know, And then it

  905. died and we didn't do one show. We do three shows, right,

  906. And all this time I was involved producer helping. I

  907. also somehow got sucking. The drama got once I was

  908. too busy doing other things, and then I was helping.

  909. I thought I was doing a good job, but apparently

  910. I was not doing a good job. I got complaints, right,

  911. and then of course I have to defend myself. Lot drama,

  912. A lot of nonsense stuff happened at the background, and

  913. for me, the sad thing was, however, wonderful We presented

  914. something and there were fruits that I can tell you

  915. there were fruits. I think we had one or two

  916. people that I don't know that they came to know

  917. the lot after that play. But there were a lot

  918. of fruits in terms of building the team and all.

  919. But at the same time, I also believe that, you

  920. know what the Bible says, the teeth doesn't come but

  921. to still care and destroy. You know, when you go

  922. through success in life, the devil's not happy. And then

  923. start playing with different harts and start, you know, I mean,

  924. unfortunately with people that didn't recover from the challenges which

  925. you had said. But we all could look back at

  926. this and say, well, Lord, that was great. You did something.

  927. You brought the church together. You know we could not

  928. have done this without the church. I can tell you,

  929. despite the challenges, and I also do recognize that when

  930. we face challenges are that it opportunity for us to

  931. grow and mature. But unfortunately we had casualties la. So

  932. then dream died. And then a few years back, because

  933. I was faithfully still here, I guess quite a lot

  934. of people have gone to do other things. I mean,

  935. not happy than golo what to do, and I'll stay

  936. around and I'm like God, I still feel there has

  937. to be something, and I try to do something. Okay,

  938. all the how all not around, orma all there used

  939. to be the hate not around. So okay, let me

  940. as the second try to do something, create something. Then

  941. we did outreach, there was downstairs, and then we tried

  942. to do play and then nothing, and then pandemic happened,

  943. and then it died again. And then last year Victoria

  944. and me want to do a play friends. I will

  945. be honest with you. I wait rare busily, and then

  946. suddenly I had to do these extra thing for this school. Yes,

  947. my kids were in it and all and whatever. I

  948. wasn't very willing. And because you know, when you're in

  949. a team, right and you are the only one with

  950. the skill set, you and another person somehow, whether you

  951. want to or not, people are going to look to

  952. you and say can you and sort of like we're

  953. put the same theme, but then you do most of

  954. the work last year. I last year. So so last

  955. year we did a rehash of the guy who sang

  956. the better song and were scrambling, and we did and

  957. and I think one of the only reasons why I

  958. did it was because I know the school needed it.

  959. I know the school needed something to cause them to

  960. dream again. So I sacrifice and really we did it.

  961. Praise God, everything happy. And then they see it. Can

  962. I be honest and tell you that I didn't want

  963. to do because I already I got other things to

  964. do this The young people think, get a new scriptwriter

  965. to write, get someone else, And I don't write script one.

  966. I'm not the scriptwriter. I read comfortable in my little hole, right.

  967. I don't want I don't want to. It's not in

  968. my dream. Also, I thought, but just last year, I

  969. remember having a sit down Pasta can I say, you know,

  970. maybe you should do something. Expressions are be careful what

  971. you asked for? Right, Remember I said, I'm very big

  972. on entrepreneurship. I think it's something God gave me a

  973. lot that I can see opportunity that other people can

  974. all see a lot of times, and not just in business,

  975. in any area, whether it's we was live, whether it's

  976. projects that will help elevate that. I can see opportunity

  977. when no one sees it. And I'll be the only

  978. joker that says, let's do it, let's go for it.

  979. And then halfway I'll be telling myself why did I

  980. even agree to do this? Because it's so hard? So

  981. came again, va should we do it again? And then

  982. start again again if I have to be involved again,

  983. you know, very very begrudgingly. And I was very close

  984. to telling Pasta Pasta, I don't be involved this year.

  985. I'm very busy, very close, but somehow I didn't have

  986. the chance to meet him and tell him that. So

  987. it was that one we I still remember this one

  988. with very close one week. Right, it was a grudging

  989. I don't want to do and then souddenly have to

  990. write script or sort of like you know, you think

  991. of the idea and you write a script. Now, okay,

  992. can I tell you I reach a breaking point? You know,

  993. when you when you reach a level. I hope you

  994. guys are following the story. I don't wonder that. I'm

  995. making it very clear when you reach a pointer where

  996. you're like so frustrated until you're like A ya, whatever, Lah,

  997. you only once. I just do it like whatever, La,

  998. I reached a point for this project. I know some

  999. of the kids are here. It wasn't whatever, La, let

1000. me give up. It was whatever, Lah, God, I surrendered

1001. to you. I would just wing it. And then I

1002. told Pastor Sandra, Pastor, I write script. I need two days.

1003. I went and bake it. It was that two weeks.

1004. I remember the breaking post that two weeks from the

  1005. you know what, I'm gonna have a I don't do

1006. this project anymore. I'm want to give up. I'm not

1007. giving up. I'm not yet sorry. I'm too busy out

1008. the things. So I will pass it to someone else.

1009. There's more better suited, you know, because they are younger,

1010. they're right, better screen and stuff like that. They are problem,

1011. not my problem. Breaking point? Can I go? Whyever? La?

1012. No choice right? No choice? Right? In the no choice,

1013. I just do LA, And I remember we had a

1014. family trip that time. Let me tell you the breaking point.

1015. God changed my heart. Because if it's my own flesh,

1016. it will never happen. But because the spirit is in me,

1017. he changed my heart. Let me tell you how He

1018. changed my heart. After the whatever line or God spoke

1019. to me, Elvin, both your boys are going to the school. Right, Yeah,

1020. he changed my heart, He changed my perspective. I know

1021. you are very busy and all, but where else are Elvin?

1022. Do you, as a father have an opportunity to directly

1023. do something that will impact your kids' experience in school?

1024. Who else have this chance? Where else do you have

1025. the opportunity to embark on the pro Yes, a lot

1026. of work, but embank on the project. They will impact

1027. the lives of one hundred and sixty students in school.

1028. No way, No, people want to do this, have to

1029. go leave and no, it's part of my work. Work

1030. on top of my word change perspective. And then God

1031. reminded me you like that? Right? Uh, you're quite passionate

1032. about this, right, you got a chance what I dont

1033. want to do. And I remember we went for a

1034. trip and then the ideas start coming, you know, I was.

1035. I mean also I also used I need to be smart, right,

1036. you know I can no. No, I don't want to

1037. use no, I use a bit la okay, but the

1038. ideas start coming. Now I wrote the script and after

1039. that the excitement start coming, and I did. I had

1040. a different perspective. God changed my heart to dream again.

1041. What was there now is alive. And after that the

1042. interesting thing that after that happened is that hey, we're

1043. doing this for VA right, how about X church? And

1044. then the time I still really like a bit, so

1045. I spoke past Okay, now we're smile. So I said, Pasta,

1046. I think you should do something. But I will come

1047. in two years. Only then I will find someone else

1048. to take all my place so that the person can

1049. lead this and bring it to an our level. But

1050. I will commit. I will, I will our advice or

1051. you know, I will give what I canna. I wear

1052. busy Ma. There was then then the v A play happened.

1053. Let me tell you the cool thing that I saw

1054. in the v aplay. I say, see opportunity, right, beyond

1055. the whole having fun, everybody enjoyed themself. I'll just share

1056. this one conversation I have with one of the students,

1057. which was one of the main casts. So the week

1058. before the student came here because the dad was doing

1059. sound and student was here, and then she was sitting

1060. at the back there and then she was looking at

1061. the stage and I went and talked to her. I said, Hey,

1062. how you feeling the stage? Like yeah, yeah, yah. I

1063. came to Sila and I'm like, why don't you go

1064. on stage because you're backing up? How can I say, yeah,

1065. of course, you know, going stas Philip. Philip know you're actor.

1066. You have to feel the stage show that next week.

1067. Can amy imagine it down stocking a person? And then

1068. and then she said, you know what, you know the

1069. cool thing Baselan. When I was young, young like younger, okay,

1070. it's not very old, young younger, my mom used to

1071. work part time for the data company that ran this place.

1072. It's like ten years ago. I know them because they

1073. they were the conduit that allowed us to use this place.

1074. And she said, you know, they used to get tickets

1075. because the couple was to have kids, and then because

1076. the mom worked here, you know, and then they used

1077. to get tickets to kind of watch because they do

1078. at children place, and I used to come here and

1079. sit down in one of those chests to watch. But

1080. now I'm on stage. Sorry'm getting a bit emotional. Now

1081. I'm on stitch and I'm going to perform for people.

1082. I'll tell you what. I'm emotional because I know this

1083. young person, I know their background, I know that life

1084. has been tough. But with my reluctant obedience. Again, I'm

1085. not saying that I'm very big time. I'm just saying

1086. that with my contribution to the project, a young person

1087. has something to look forward to. It's not about the play.

1088. It's not about how good the play is. It's about

1089. this young person's life. And God give me a perspective.

1090. We do these things thinking that it is just the

1091. big day, big event and the fame. But God uses

1092. us to impact lives. The amount of testimonies that came

1093. out of the play this year, I guess me excited

1094. enough to go. I'm gonna write scrap for next year

1095. because we hear a story. We had a mom who

1096. said my daughter has never opened her mask because she

1097. wears shy even in school, and we know who this

1098. person is. She was on stage dancing with no masks.

1099. The mom was crying the whole time the play is running.

1100. I heard that that same when I'm like, Wow, Lord,

1101. something like a play and six months of our stress

1102. life can change lives. I do wonder what else you

1103. can do. So God wants us to dream again. I

1104. don't know what dream you have friends this morning. For me,

1105. I never the dream was like back of the head,

1106. but I never pursued it. But God, once, do you

1107. people who are willing, people who believe in Him. And again,

1108. we are not doing it alone. It is the Holy

1109. Spirit that leads us. You know, if I guess the

1110. difference is that if we were to do a play

1111. only and there was no spirit of God, we probably

1112. wouldn't have testimonies. You'd probably just be, oh, it's funny. Yeah,

1113. we had a good time, and that's it. But God

1114. showed me how a play project can change lives. It's

1115. so amazing. It was so amazing. So I wonder what

1116. God can do in your life. What God can use

1117. in your life that can impact people and that can

1118. give them hope, that can give them peace. I watched

1119. a TikTok video yesterday. There was this girl that was,

1120. you know, I mean some you know, my finish journey,

1121. so sometimes some of these things. I'm a pretty big girl.

1122. She was sharing a red long sharing about how she

1123. was crying because she said she saw this guy coming

1124. and he was checking her out, and she felt very

1125. inferior because just the other day two guys came and

1126. saw her and under their breath day he just coughed

1127. ougre and she couldn't hear it. But then she made

1128. it out and then she was very hurt. And she

1129. was there almost every day trying to lose weight. And

1130. then when this guy came and she saw she immediately

1131. pull back and go like, oh no, he's gonna he's

1132. gonna say something. He's gonna say something. He's going to

1133. say something. He's gonna and the guy was like ripped.

1134. And the guy looked at her and said, Hey, I

1135. recognize you. You're here every day, and I want to

1136. let you know that I'm proud of you. You never

1137. know what God can use you for. If only you

1138. were more some missive, if only you were more sensitive

1139. to the Holy Spirit, if only we allow God to

1140. move in our lives because it's all him, you know, friends,

1141. it's never us, is never us. Am I the most

1142. talented scriptwriter. I can tell you No, I got all

1143. crazy nonsense ideas. But they're probably other scriptwriters. They're better

1144. than me. Maybe he went here, maybe even in the school.

1145. But let me tell you the difference. I was really

1146. reluctantly at first. Now not so reluctant. God wants us

1147. to dream again, friends, He wants He never wants us

1148. to be in a place where we are down and out.

1149. There's no benefit to him. But when we can believe,

1150. we can trust, when we can be led by the spirit, Wow,

1151. the glory goes back to him. It is beneficial for

1152. God that you live an abundant life, because you will

1153. give him the glory. It is not beneficial for him

1154. for you to live in trouble and sadness and disappointment

1155. and discouragement. No, it's not. He wants us to rise

1156. up and today my encouragement is this, Call upon the

1157. name of the Lord, and you will be safe. Call

1158. upon the name of the Lord, and you will be safe.

1159. And the day of the Lord will arrive. Not that

1160. we are judged, but that his spirit is poured out

1161. on all of us, and that we function in the

1162. will and the leading that God has for our lives.

1163. Who is going to influence your Is it gonna be

1164. adopt your worries or is it going to be gone?

1165. You have to decide. Amen, That's where she became. Thank

1166. you so much, extreme for coming up. I just want

1167. to ask us to a lot has been said. I

1168. want to encourage us this morning. Can we allow the

1169. Holy Spirit to move in our lives.

1170. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

1171. information on our church, please visit as church dot org.

1173. that this week is going to be a good week

  1174. ahead for you.

  1175. God bless
