  1. You're listening to a message to go from axt church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. A lot of things has happened in the past week, right,

  4. if you follow the news, if you are aware with

  5. the news in the world, world news, okay, quite a

  6. lot of things has happened. A government fell, a prominent

  7. figure in the States was assassinated. You know. I don't

  8. go too deep into that because I do follow the

  9. human and all, and and a country was bombed. Quite

  10. a lot of things has happened, okay. And depending on

  11. how aware you are or unaware you are, I'm sure

  12. you feel a certain way, right and I'm sure you

  13. have thoughts or concerns about the state of what's happened,

  14. you know, whether or not or you know, some people say, oh,

  15. it's in that end off the world is coming back soon.

  16. And then you've got people who may be concerned with

  17. your safety, you know, some may be thankful. Cursure and

  18. malisure actually major quite happening now. A lot of things

  19. happening in Malasia or so in terms of like, uh,

  20. you know a lot of cases that bring out the light,

  21. you know, and I would say it's good things. But

  22. as all these things are happening, whatever or however we

  23. are feeling, I want to encourage us with one thing

  24. that still remains true no matter what is that God

  25. is still good. God is still in control, and he

  26. will will still be done, whether we are aware about it,

  27. we are not aware about it, whether or not we

  28. have strong feelings or opinions about certain things, or maybe

  29. our own life has enough drama already that we are

  30. not bothered so much about world newslat which is well,

  31. I would say, which is in a way fine as well.

  32. You know, you've got too many things to be concerned

  33. about to be reading the news and to be affected

  34. by the news. But whatever is happening in the world today,

  35. however you are feeling or not feeling, God is still

  36. in control. We've got to remember that. And His will

  37. is still clear and his plan has not changed. Your

  38. plans might have changed, your thought process might have changed.

  39. You might have been a little bit different. Now you know,

  40. I know they are different, very interestingly, a different key entrepreneur.

  41. If you're in the entrepreneurship space, Key entrepreneurs coming to Malaysia.

  42. So Steve Butler is coming if you know who he is.

  43. Diary of a CEO. Yesterday there was a book launch.

  44. I don't know what's this guy's name, but he's the

  45. ten Next guy and he launched it here. A lot

  46. of entrepreneurs are there, you know, if you're in that space,

  47. A lot of things are happening right and we are

  48. pursuing a lot of things. And this morning, as we well,

  49. as I share a word to you, I just thought

  50. I want to be a little bit more real in

  51. that sense, to know that, to let you know that, hey,

  52. the church is aware about what's happening, and sometimes we

  53. may not be speaking about it so openly or so big,

  54. or we may not or you know, sant press release

  55. la or now the young man that was assassinated in

  56. the States, you know, you know, if you know, you know,

  57. not just him, but there were other shootings that happened

  58. in the States. A lot of people are talking about

  59. it regards his ready famous on YouTube Sonny. Everybody want

  60. to talk about it, Sonny. Everybody want to say something.

  61. But the wonderful thing about his life, which I really respect,

  62. is that they cannot deny his faith in Christ. And

  63. he was consistent all the way defending his faith and

  64. being the sort and the light wherever he's at. Of course,

  65. a lot of Christians might disagree. I also know some

  66. people who may think differently, and they may say you

  67. shouldn't have done it or whatever. But the one thing

  68. that you cannot deny about his life is that he

  69. lived for Christ, and he spoke the truth, and he

  70. had the gods to do it despite what is happening,

  71. despite the disagreements, and I think that deserves our respect.

  72. I think that deserves some form of like, Wow, this

  73. is what living your faith looks like, you know, in

  74. such an open manner. And this morning, I want us

  75. to reconsider some things, even through the word, about us

  76. and the role we play in our own lives and

  77. in God's plan. Amen, let's think about that. So I

  78. got a little I got a li ill illustration, and

  79. I'm gonna get some people to help me with this

  80. illustration because you know I I I need to give

  81. us some perspective. Sorry, Evan, I move your mica, make

  82. a bit more space I need. And I always like

  83. to give you a perspective before I go into the world,

  84. because I want us to be very clear in the

  85. context of it. Okay, but before I go into it,

  86. I want to invite Timo, Ti Kwan and Jason to

  87. come up. They kind of new. I can see that

  88. they see their face. Yeah yeah, so maybe Tim can

  89. stand yeah, maybe both you can stand here on my

  90. on my right. Okay, yeah, Tim, Quan and Jason to

  91. come up. And uh, and I've got a piece of

  92. white paper. Thanks so much leading for opinion. Get this,

  93. this came very recently. I want you to hold up

  94. each one white paper. Okay, don't, don't ta okay, just

  95. hold it up. Okay, however you want to hold it up,

  96. it doesn't matter. Okay. So this white paper represents them, okay,

  97. So this white paper presents Timothy, and this white paper

  98. represents Jason. Okay. And of course when you're born on

  99. this into this earth, we we like, let's say, just

  100. just visually imagine this white paper, and as we live

  101. this life, things happen, right, you know, we get angry,

  102. someone's called us, you know, uh, you know, and and

  103. and something happens to us. You know. Tim, can you

  104. take this and step on it? Yes, yes, step well

  105. your shoe air cleaner. Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah.

  106. So team experiencing his first heartbreak, yeah, can lift it

  107. up later the Tina. Okay, okay, good good. So first

  108. heartbreak okay, and then maybe Jason was betrayed by someone

  109. close to him. I don't know. Let me give you

  110. a pen. Maybe you want to use a pen. Do

  111. you have a pen? Yeah? Yeah? Here yeah yeah. And and

  112. then and then something happens to Jason, and be careful

  113. not to your shirt. Yeah, something happens, you know, it

  114. got betrayed, betrayed, but he can forgive the person. So

  115. it's very very small n betrayed, but it's there, and

  116. and then and then things happen and then and then

  117. suddenly the market crash and team loss his job. You know,

  118. his job doesn't depend on the market, you know a

  119. please come and join Victory Academy opening, So that team

  120. said his job and something happened, you know, and and

  121. maybe yeah, anybody got any other marker highlight the can borrow? Yeah,

  122. And and something happened, you know, market crash and team

  123. loss his job man or maybe yeah, and yeah that happens,

  124. and you know, and Jason first heart break and then

  125. second heart break of first heart breaks, and he goes

  126. so big, no, no, sorry, you heart break, you betrayed?

  127. Right then betrayal again now betrayaled by who? Uh? And

  128. then you know one once his parents uh you know,

  129. works so hard, got a PhD, wants his parents approval,

  130. and then a parents say no, you are you bring

  131. this grace to the family. Okay, crying it okay. Yeah.

  132. And then before something else happened, you know, yeah, whatever

  133. whatever happens. And and he you know, I know his fault,

  134. you know, not being fault. He someone stole something from him. Yeah,

  135. you can go. You can do that if you want to.

  136. Okay a love heartbreakers. Wow, that's a lot of that. Okay,

  137. passing back the pen. And then we grow up and

  138. then we come to this splace where we say, oh wow,

  139. I know about you know, I'm so broken, but I

  140. want to be a good person. I'm so marked and

  141. said and hurt, but I want to be a good person.

  142. That's good and I want to be clean again. But

  143. no matter how you flip or your musket, this is

  144. still inside. Can you try and remove this? Can you

  145. try and clean up the cannot you can? Yeah, try

  146. and remove? Try and can cannot? Canry? Can you? Yeah?

  147. However they try to clean the mess, they can't. You

  148. all know that life is like that. However much you

  149. try to clean to hide it, It's still there. It's

  150. still there. Sin is still there, Brokenness is still there,

  151. disappointments is still there, bad experiences is still there. And

  152. you can and try your best to use your own

  153. effort to clean things up. You can't do it. Clean

  154. things up, you know, cover it up, turn it, flip it,

  155. fold it, you know, wash it, but you know, really

  156. is still there. But then Christ comes and says, I

  157. will make you a new creation. He who receives Me

  158. will be born again, and then the old will die,

  159. and then the new will be reborn and then they

  160. receive Christ clean again. Right, and then something happened again.

  161. This is Steve. Yeah, yea, yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah,

  162. something happens again. Maybe not so the tree is time

  163. because he know not to forgive. And then he lost

  164. his job again. Not so bad, steal the teeth and

  165. then I don't know what what what bad things going

  166. to happen to you or don't to happen to you,

  167. but happened. But but you see it's not so bad

  168. because he learned ready man forgiveness and all and then

  169. yet yet yet affected yet Yeah, I try to keep

  170. it at the corner loud. Nobody see right, they only

  171. see this spot. They don't see this spot. And and

  172. and then they remember because Christ said that I have

  173. redeemed you and all you need to do. I'm sorry, Lord,

  174. I did something wrong. Can you try to rub off

  175. that thing? They want to be good Christian, so you

  176. have to rub it off. Go and go mission trip?

  177. Do community?

  178. Well?

  179. Give more offering? Can or not? Can? Can? Can? Can

  180. they be clean? Come on? Give them a free But

  181. Jesus said, all you need to do is come to me,

  182. ask for forgiveness, and then you'll be as white as snow. Okay,

  183. thank you so much. Guys, can you please go back?

  184. Do we understand that no matter what we do in life,

  185. even after we're becoming believers. See, we all understand the

  186. part where they don't know Jesus yet messed up, try

  187. and hide things away. We understand this. And then when

  188. they become Christians, they are made new. You have made

  189. new friends. But then things still happen whether you mean

  190. it or not. You still have your old ways. Paul says,

  191. I do the things that I don't want to do.

  192. The things that I want to do, I don't do

  193. of course you get better, but you see still the teeth,

  194. and then we come to Christ again and we'll meet

  195. you again. It is a process, right, But you always

  196. got to come to Christ because only He can make

  197. things new. No amount of rubbing, no amount of mission trip,

  198. no amount of church attendance. It's going to help you

  199. only Jesus. No amount of preaching, no amount. But don't

  200. you think mission trip helps? It helps. It does help

  201. because when you go mission trip then you're more aware, like, oh, okay,

  202. I better not the ted, the paper, I better not

  203. the tea myself. Because the more I'm in a place

  204. where I'm aware about things, the more I know how

  205. to manage it, the less I get. You see, if

  206. they were more careful, don't you think it'll be cleaner

  207. a bit? And sometimes things happen we don't mean it,

  208. you know. It's like, it's not like everyone here with

  209. papacy going. You know the word we use charry pass out.

  210. No things happen in life. A lot of things in

  211. our lives we didn't mean too, because we were not

  212. We didn't choose to be born in that family. I

  213. didn't choose to be born in my family. That has

  214. anger issues. I didn't. I didn't choose to have traumatic

  215. child experiences. But because of Christ, I made whole. Because

  216. of Christ, my kids don't have to experience the same

  217. thing because of Christ. I was just talking to someone

  218. that day. You know, family very dysfunctional, so laugh about

  219. it both from this functional family. And then the person

  220. said this, which I find very amusing. But your kid

  221. it's okay, right, And I'm like, huh, yeah, their family

  222. quite FUNCTIONALN Like sure not. I mean, I don't know. Hopefully,

  223. hopefully I do a good job enough to give them

  224. a functional family life. They won't grow up angry. They'll

  225. be able to teach them the right things, They'll be

  226. able to address things, and I don't let the scenes

  227. of the past and the generational scenes continue on. Friends,

  228. consider these things as I'm sharing. If you and we

  229. want to go to first fitter two four, chapter two,

  230. verse four to fifteen, I guys, okay, can we go

  231. into the word. I want you to ponder on some

  232. of these things, because we cannot avoid what happens to

  233. us in the world. Some things, unfortunately, you can avoid

  234. because you in the Chinese we say thais say one

  235. you know, sorry, pass out? Please don't trry pass out.

  236. Please try your best not to find trouble. We do

  237. the wise thing friends, first step, but some of us

  238. we do wise thing. Also we get in trouble, not

  239. our fault. It's okay. As long as we remain with God,

  240. will be fine, because only He can wash us clean.

  241. No amount of filial piety, or duty or attendance can

  242. wash you clean. Only Christ. First speitter, Chapter two, verse

  243. four to fifteen says, coming to him as to a

  244. living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God

  245. and precious. You also as living stones, are being built

  246. up to a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer

  247. up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God, to Christ Jesus Christ. Therefore,

  248. it is also contained in the scripture. Behold eleens iron,

  249. a chief connoerstone, elect prescious, and he who believes in

  250. him will by no means people to shame. Therefore to

  251. you who believe he is precious, but to those who

  252. are disobedient, the stone which the builders rejected has become

  253. the chief cornerstone, and a stone of stumbling, and a

  254. rock of offense. They stumble, being this obedient to the

  255. word to which they were also appointed. But you are

  256. a chosen generation, a royal priestchoot, a holy nation, his

  257. own special people. Can you look at your neighbor and

  258. say you are chosen, look your other neighbors and say

  259. you are special to God, that you may proclaim the

  260. praises of Him who called you out of darkness into

  261. his mouthless light. You once were not a people, but

  262. are now the people of God who had not obtained mercy,

  263. but now have obtained mercy. Believed I beg you as

  264. sojourners and pilgrims, stained from your fleshly lust which war

  265. against the soul. There will be struggle, friends, there will

  266. be there will be freshly lost. Where are we gonna follow?

  267. We have to decide. We have to decide, having your

  268. conduct honorable among the gentiles, that when they speak against

  269. you as evil doers, they may, by your good works

  270. which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation. Therefore,

  271. submit yourselves to every ordinance of men for the Lord's sake,

  272. whether to the King as supreme or to government, as

  273. to those who are sent by Him, for the punishment

  274. of evil doers and for the praise of those who

  275. do good for this is the will of God, that

  276. by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance

  277. of foolish men. So first point in friends, I gave

  278. you the illustration. You understand your faith? Right, you understand

  279. that no matter what we do, we won't be able

  280. to clean ourselves or wash ourselves clean. Only through Christ

  281. we are made whole and new. But we don't take

  282. that for granted, friends, we don't we When we receive something,

  283. we need to understand the responsibility of it on ourselves.

  284. And the interesting thing about fay our faith is that

  285. whatever we receive. You know, they say salvation is a

  286. free gift. I say yes, but the cost is rare high.

  287. The cost because Jesus payed the Christ, but also the

  288. cost that we have to lay our life for him.

  289. Right Paul says, to live is Christ, to die is gain.

  290. You know, it's a very different perspective. So today are

  291. we living for ourselves or are we living for God?

  292. Because the Bible is very clear on this. And my

  293. encouragement for us this morning is that we are separated

  294. for Him. We are we are separated for Him? Right,

  295. Romans child want to do says, and so dear brothers,

  296. and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies

  297. to God because of all He has done for you.

  298. Let them be a living and wholly sacrifice, the kind

  299. he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to

  300. worship him. Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world.

  301. But let God transform you into a new person. You

  302. already that. Let God transform you. You cannot transform yourself.

  303. Only He can transform you. But you must be willing

  304. to surrender and submit to him. Don't copy the behavior

  305. and customs of this world. You know with this scripture, right,

  306. I I tell you where sensitive life to say this

  307. when someone comes up to me and say, passel him.

  308. If you try this, you know this the latest faed,

  309. this latest thing. You know. We should be more relevant,

  310. more relevant, more relevant. Friends, The Bible says, don't copy,

  311. don't copy the behavior of the world. Why we constantly

  312. copying the behavior of the world. We're gonna stop it. Don't.

  313. Then you find yourselves in trouble and you wonder why

  314. isn't that foolishness? But let God transform you in to

  315. a new person by changing the way you think. So

  316. who should you be talking to on a daily basis

  317. that acts? Oh? God. God is the one that would

  318. transform your mind. God is the one that transformed my mind.

  319. God is the one through different ways and manners. How

  320. is your mind being transformed? Friends? Is it being transformed

  321. by your parents? Is it being transformed by what you consume?

  322. You know what they say? What you consume you become off.

  323. The more you consume of something, you become off. So

  324. what have you been consuming recently? Right? What you consume

  325. become off? Are you consuming more of the world of God?

  326. Are you consuming more things of God? Or are you

  327. consuming other things? Because the more you consume it, the

  328. more you become it. And you got no one to

  329. point to our friends, right be? Are careful? Right be?

  330. We're careful. We can laugh about it now. We can

  331. joke about it now. But when you are in front

  332. of the judge being City or Christ, I wonder whether

  333. we'll still be laughing. Take this as a caution, friends,

  334. God will change the way you think. Then you will

  335. learn to know God's will for you, which is good

  336. and pleasing and perfect. When we continue to allow God

  337. to work in our lives and to transform our lives,

  338. then we will experience him and then we will know

  339. what is His will. For us. But if we don't

  340. do that, we will never know, we will never understand,

  341. and we'll always be pursuing after things that are very temporal. Friends,

  342. my encouragement for you this morning is to pursue things

  343. eternal in your life. And I'm not saying everybody become

  344. full time. Don't get me wrong every time, but past

  345. us say it there oh for that? No, no, no,

  346. no no, I'm just saying, coming your life to Christ fully,

  347. and then God will reveal to you what is that plan? Right?

  348. He will reveal to you, friends, and he will guide you,

  349. and it will be good and pleasing and perfect, pleasing

  350. to him, pleasing to you. So you know, do you

  351. know that when you follow God's plan It's going to

  352. be stress free? It is can I be very honest

  353. with you. I've experienced that many times if you follow

  354. God's plan not my struggle. Yes, there is struggle, growth,

  355. but there is no struggle, stress, disappointment, discouragement, not much one. Right. So,

  356. so friends, I'm asking you this morning to lead yourself,

  357. Lead yourself, don't let simply let anything lead you. Lead

  358. yourself first and let the spirit lead you. Don't let

  359. money lead you, don't let your friends lead you, you

  360. lead yourself. Discipleship is a big thing. It's interesting that

  361. Monica says I'm very big on discipling, but yes i am.

  362. It's just because the Bible says so right. That's why

  363. I'm big on it. Actions speak louder than words. Yesterday,

  364. my son just come out from Uni. Daddy, I'm Hungrydaddy,

  365. I'm hungry, Dady, I'm hungry. But he's still sitting looking

  366. at the TV. And I told him, boy, you are

  367. not hungry because the TV is more important to you,

  368. and because of that, I will take my time to

  369. cook for you. And then he was complaining. I say,

  370. if you're really hungry, you're off the TV, sit on

  371. the table, and you will show me that you're hungry.

  372. Then I will be faster, which is true. Isn't that true?

  373. But we take for granted a lot of times because

  374. your children. I wrote something here. You know, friends, can

  375. I say this when I speak this to you? I

  376. also am in the same category. I'm not any better

  377. than you. But these are the things I ponder about

  378. in my life, and I try to keep it, you know,

  379. as straight as I can. A Christian should fully immerse

  380. themselves in the church, in the community of Christ. Why

  381. we should earnestly seek God and then we will grow

  382. into maturity. If church is not important to you, or

  383. if you think that's only you and Jesus enough, then

  384. you are like a lamb out with the wolves and

  385. there's no protection. But do you know that when you're

  386. in the flock and Jesus is the door, we are safe. Deside.

  387. Sometimes people don't like to be around in church because

  388. my in church, I need to be good. Yeah, isn't

  389. that the goal? Do not lie, to not cheat, to

  390. not do all the other things that the world teaches

  391. us when we're in church. When we look at a

  392. friend and we remind it. But why do we cherry

  393. pick what we like? Do you know that when we

  394. do that, we won't have a full of balanced diet.

  395. We will have issues with things in our lives. Think

  396. about it. I always think about this for my own life.

  397. What is the issues I have with things? And what

  398. is lacking in my life? We have issues with things

  399. because we are not with the program, We are not

  400. following God's plan. So do we cherry pick items from

  401. the program or do we fully follow the program and

  402. the system? You know, There are a lot of good

  403. programs in this world. Dieting program, money program. Every single

  404. person that has a program will tell you follow it,

  405. or but dinner follow it, or but dinna follow it.

  406. Because you don't follow it, it won't happen. And how

  407. many times have of us when we talked to a

  408. friend and say, oh, I've always program doesn't work now,

  409. and then when you dig deeper, you actually find out

  410. they're not fully following the program. Oh, the drink says,

  411. I need to drink seven days a week breakfast, lunch,

  412. and dinner. But thenna, my lifestyle are very hard loved friends,

  413. so I only drink morning and then after the sevend week,

  414. don't lose it. Oh yeah, is the drinks problem? Do

  415. we live life like that? I hope not. I'm just

  416. bringing it to light for your awareness. Think about it,

  417. Think about your life. Think about how easy is it

  418. to push the responsibility and another person push the responsibility

  419. on something else when the responsibility on our own faith

  420. is us. We have a responsibility for our faith first,

  421. and then we have a responsibility on whatever we have

  422. authority over your catch that, Why do I say that

  423. I have a responsibility on my faith first, my own

  424. faith first, and then I have a responsibility on the

  425. authority I have over. I have authority over my family,

  426. my wife, my kids. If I'm not a good father

  427. who knows how to pray and do things like that

  428. at home, how do I expect my wife and kids

  429. to do it? If I'm not want a good pastor

  430. that is here every week on a Sunday, how do

  431. I expect any of you to do it? Because that's

  432. the authority given. You're your cash that are not right?

  433. It don't look so sad. I'm not scoring you, Okay,

  434. I give I give an example. Right, there's a spread

  435. prepared spread we talk about, you know church, that's a

  436. spread prepared, right, a spread prepared in the church, okay,

  437. or in God's kingdom? Right? And you talk about prayer service, intertssity,

  438. prayer homes, spread, spread of food. And it has to

  439. be a balanced diet the sound of the snow, balanced diet.

  440. But then kids, I said it, because I have kids

  441. come and only eat what they want to eat. I

  442. don't want Vegila way, not a nice la. I don't

  443. like to eat this la. I don't want this la.

  444. I only want the fries. I only want the chips.

  445. I only want the good stuff. All that stuff not good.

  446. I only want the They only eat a bitney here here, here,

  447. And then after dinner, when dinner is done, daddy, Mammy hungry, La,

  448. why did you finish your foot by eight? Or this part?

  449. And then depending on what I like or don't like,

  450. the amount will be varied. Right, you cook pizza, everything finished?

  451. You prepare Chinese meal, veggie or don't touch? Friends? Are

  452. we kids? If you're still having the kid mentality and

  453. encouragement to you is don't It is a balanced diet, friends,

  454. Your Christian faith is a balanced diet. Don't just cherry pick.

  455. Or I like this speaker, I don't like that speaker.

  456. Oh I like this person, I don't like that person.

  457. We're being kids. That's like God calles children. I have

  458. come to appreciate right, the power of the five four ministry.

  459. I've come to appreciate the different giftings and annoying things

  460. that God gave the church. I've learned to do that right.

  461. And I've learned to see that every experience we have

  462. in our life as a believer contributes to our faith,

  463. good or bad. Your catch stand on because if God

  464. is sovereign and he's looking down and he has in control.

  465. See we declare that right, then he has control over

  466. every single lesson we have to learn. That also means

  467. that the faster we learn a lesson, the faster God

  468. let us move on. But the more we are stuck

  469. on something, then it's very difficult. Amen, I guess. Okay, now,

  470. so consider this discipling yourself or discipling sorry, leading yourself,

  471. and as you lead yourself, you are disciple others through

  472. your actions. Right, think about this question? Would I guide,

  473. slash disciple others to do something that I would not

  474. have done? Think about it? Parents, think about it. Will

  475. you guide someone to do something that you're not done?

  476. Or will you guide or disciple others to not do

  477. something that you would have done? Consider those things? Right,

  478. because I'm very clear that there are things that others

  479. do that I cannot do. Clear because of the responsibility

  480. I have, because the things I have, there are things

  481. that others can do I cannot do. I just cannot

  482. know that. Sorry, I can't. I'm not I'm not on

  483. a Sunday. I'm just here. I can't. But how do

  484. we live our lives? Okay? There is a difference between

  485. conviction and values and necessity and urgency. Your cash that

  486. there is a difference. A lot of times we live

  487. our lives. Oh it's necessary, it's necessary, it's urgent. It's necessary,

  488. it's urgent. But if you have conviction and values, you

  489. will realize that not all urgent things need to do

  490. on there's some things you just got a close one eye.

  491. And because you have the conviction, amen, So think about it.

  492. What is your conviction friends this morning? What are values

  493. you have? We need people of character, we need so

  494. they will not be washed left and right, but we

  495. will stand strong because there are other people leaning on you.

  496. There other people relying on you. You are important. Let me see, ah,

  497. let me encourage you so because just now the scripture

  498. says that let me go to first bitter two. Okay,

  499. I'm trying and look for it a guys, okay, sorry,

  500. and today quite solemn? Where does it say here, okay,

  501. coming to him as a living stone, rejected indeed by men,

  502. but chosen by God and precious you also as living stones,

  503. are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood

  504. to offer out spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Okay,

  505. they stumble. You are a chosen generation, a royal prieschood,

  506. a holy nation, his own special people that you may

  507. proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of

  508. darkness into his mouthless life. We were all in darkness,

  509. but with Christ, he's called us out. Okay, he's called

  510. us out. So friends, my encouragement to are you this

  511. morning is don't be hirings, be sons and daughters of God.

  512. There's a difference. Are hiring and sons and daughters very different? Right?

  513. John ten eleven sixteen says I am the good shepherd.

  514. The good shepherd's sacrifics his life for the sheep. A

  515. hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming.

  516. He will abandon the sheep because they don't belong to

  517. him and he isn't their shepherd, And so the wolf

  518. attacks them and scatters the flock. The hired hand runs

  519. away because he's working only for the money and doesn't

  520. really care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd.

  521. I know my own sheep, and they know me just

  522. as my father knows me, and I know the father.

  523. So I sacrifice my life for the sheep. I have

  524. other sheep too. They are not in this sheep fall.

  525. I must bring them also. They will listen to my voice,

  526. and there will be one flock with one shepherd. Jesus

  527. just foreshadowed that we should evangelize because as we're enjoying

  528. being his sheep here, there are others out there. They

  529. are lost. We got to reach them. Amen. So, okay,

  530. I'm gonna end taking responsibility of our own actions and desires.

  531. And yes, there will be clashes in interest and circumstances.

  532. There will be there will be different background, different things happening.

  533. There will be clashes, right, But we've got to take

  534. responsibility of an action. How will we decide when the

  535. time comes. Let me give you two more scriptures to

  536. encourage you, at least for you to think about. First.

  537. Peter five eight ten says be sober, be vigilant, because

  538. your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion,

  539. seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith,

  540. knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood

  541. in the world. But made a lot of all grace

  542. who called us to his eternal glory by Jesus Christ

  543. by Christ Jesus. After you have suffered a while, perfect established,

  544. strengthen and settle you. The devil's working around looking for

  545. people to hunt down. Are you going to be ignorant

  546. to allow that to happen? Are you still thinking that

  547. it's just a rare, net real thing, right? Or do

  548. you recognize that we are fighting against the powers and

  549. principalities of this world? My last scripture in Romans thirteen,

  550. Romans thirteen, verse one to seven. Can you look at

  551. your neighbor and put them on the back. Look at

  552. as and not an e Saya loves you? Okay, that's

  553. hod you're saying this? Okay, last night, my last lebe

  554. it says here, let every soul be subject to the

  555. governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God. Wow,

  556. your cash that let every soul be subject to the

  557. governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God.

  558. What does that tell you? Every government is under God,

  559. whether they be leave it or not. We gotta remember that, friends, okay.

  560. And the authorities that exist are appointed by God. You

  561. read in the Bible even Nebucenza was appointed by God. Right,

  562. For rulers are not a terror to do good works,

  563. but to evil? Do you want to be unafraid of

  564. the Do you want to be unafraid of the authority?

  565. Do what is good, and you will have praised from

  566. the same. For his God's minister to you for good.

  567. But if you do evil, be afraid, for he does

  568. not bear the sort in vain for his God's Minister

  569. and avenger to execute raf on him who practices evil.

  570. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath,

  571. but also for conscience sake. For because of this you

  572. also pay taxes. For their God's ministers, attending continually to

  573. this very thing. Render therefore to all they are due,

  574. Texas to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs fear,

  575. to whom fear honor, to whom honor. Let me read

  576. on all no one anything except to love one another.

  577. For he who loves one another has fulfilled the law. Friends,

  578. you want to fulfill the law. Love one another. For

  579. the commandments. You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder,

  580. you shall not steal, you shall not bear for sweetness,

  581. you shall not covert. And if there is, if there

  582. are any other commandments, are all summed up to this saying, namely,

  583. you shall love your neighbor as yourself. Come on, let's

  584. serve one another, and not just here in church. Serve

  585. the people around you. Serve your neighbors, Serve your clients,

  586. Serve your students. Love them. Some of them might not

  587. have experienced love before. We are loved here. Well, if

  588. you are not loved enough, then I guess the church

  589. will love you. Mola. You know love does no harm

  590. to a neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law.

  591. And we're envy this and do this knowing the time

  592. that now it is high time to awake out of sleep.

  593. For now our salvation is nearer than when we first believe.

  594. The night is fast span the day is at hand. Therefore,

  595. let us cast off the works of darkness, and let

  596. us put on the armor of light. Let us walk

  597. properly as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness,

  598. not in lewdeness and lust, not in strife and envy.

  599. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no

  600. provision for the flesh to fulfill its last and our end.

  601. This way, how can I be a blessing to the Church.

  602. And when I'm a blessing to the church. How can

  603. I be a blessing to the people around me? How

  604. can I love my neighbor? I just share with you

  605. how no matter how bad your life is, right, you

  606. can always go to Christ and He will make you

  607. a clean Do you know that it's very difficult to

  608. love someone else when you're dirty, when you got so

  609. much anger and strife in your life, it's very hard

  610. to love another person. But when you make whole, Wow,

  611. when you are when you don't have any worry, you

  612. don't have any dumb when you don't have to worry

  613. about whether or not people are gonna cheat you, or

  614. when you have to look at humans a different way,

  615. you can look at them and love them because God

  616. is the one that transforms your heart. Amen. Like I said,

  617. I don't know what's the title today. It's a lot

  618. have been talked about, a lot have been shared, and

  619. I don't know. Some of you might catch different things.

  620. But my initial title that I wrote here was holiness

  621. and separation. Why are we called a holy nation? Because

  622. Christ came and He set us free. We are made whole,

  623. And yes the world is messed up, We're still living

  624. in these falling able friends, things happen, things we don't like.

  625. News happened, things happened to you. We are still dealing

  626. with people who will hurt you. But what is our response?

  627. That is the most important. What is my response? How

  628. do I respond when I'm heard? How do I respond

  629. when I go into a tough time? How do I

  630. respond to my friends? How do I respond to's someone

  631. who hates me? How do I respond? I respond the

  632. way Christ wants me to respond because I made new

  633. with him. That is the understanding that I hope you'll

  634. go back with you today. Amen. And then when we

  635. continue to work in his life and know his real friends,

  636. He's going to be exciting. It's going to be so

  637. exciting for you because you will know his will for

  638. your life. You will be good and pleasing and fulfilling

  639. for your Amen.

  640. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
