You're listening to a message to go from ex Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your teeth.
-
Okay, today I'm gonna invite you to keep up with me.
-
You think I can? Yeah?
-
Yeah, yeah, let's keepe up?
-
Man?
-
Oh man, you wish I can't?
-
No qualify away alright?
-
Don't have the small skin, a flawless skin, skinniest body ever,
-
like a piece of stick.
-
I don't have that, and not so young? Okay, all right,
-
but let's cape up guys. Okay. I hope you take
-
home a message today and you remember. So that's what
-
I do.
-
I try to help you remember the message by giving
-
you some funky name.
-
Did I do tofu with you? No? I didnt.
-
Melbourne got it? Okay, So I'm not touful with you. Okay,
-
but I'll cape up with you.
-
All right. You're wondering how this fus the hobbies? Really? Okay?
-
All right? Amen? So what is the cap pop? And
-
I'll bring us to So. Now I was just thinking
-
our walk in the lot, our journey.
-
It can be a long journey, depending how many years
-
you live, how many more years you journey. When you
-
came to know Jesus and you're growing your faith. And
-
you know, the whole time we come while we meet
-
like this week in week out, weekly we come to
-
do church together. You know, all of it is to
-
encourage the believers and to really Jesus, thank you Lord,
-
all right, to encourage the believers and to carry on
-
in this journey.
-
Amen, hallelujah.
-
And so I was just thinking, it's some of you
-
were just born again shortly. Others have been walking with
-
the Lot for many years, and uh, you know, and
-
the whole journey is to ask us, are we on track?
-
Are we still following the Lot despite the storms that
-
you're going through, despite many different challenges it comes, it goes,
-
Are we still keeping.
-
Focus on the Lot? And that's my heart.
-
I think you'll hear from my messages here and there
-
whenever it's about that.
-
It's reminding us to stay on track. But I have
-
to take you.
-
To the K pop, yeah, just to get you on
-
track to remind us.
-
Amen.
-
So just this past week I met an assistant Christ
-
someone who probably could be my mom's, could be a
-
mom of my mom's itch, maybe younger a little bit,
-
but I think she's in the seventies. And she saw
-
me I'm going to visit one of our partner's parent
-
who is not well.
-
And then this lady.
-
Came, she's in law, and she said, hey, I haven't
-
seen you for one hundred years.
-
She took one hundred years.
-
I say, well, if it's one hundred years, you surely
-
look the same seventy you know, she cycles seventies are
-
cycles still actively cycling?
-
She loves a cycling. She's gonna go to Taiwan.
-
She said, the cycle no reliably okay, but yeah, she's
-
just active, fairy active. And she was just saying to
-
me that she did in the seventies. I'm not never
-
for a long long time. And she said she had
-
a change. They have a change of pasta in the
-
church or passes that can be my son or maybe grandson.
-
Said, I don't know, like young pastor Yawa. It's all
-
uh I see in church. I don't know what else.
-
What new message can they shared with me?
-
Right, because we're like we think for something and then
-
I heard that message before.
-
All right, just hang on and hang on.
-
Of course they're there then now for founding Buster has
-
has gone on to do other stuff, so they only
-
see him once in a month or whatever. Less so
-
she said, you're with me our pastor by the New Pasta.
-
Then then I said, oh really, but good law, I said, no,
-
they're not. They're focusing on the young people. Then we
-
all let, I said, we all, let we all let.
-
I said, I'm gonna be sixty, okay, so.
-
We all let.
-
I say, well, our church, the church needs you because
-
the young people need to know what their future is
-
gonna look like if they can look like you at seventy.
-
Because she sure doesn't look like seventeen and cycling, you know,
-
up the hill, down the hill.
-
Right she's doing this. I say, we need examples like
-
you in the church. Don't run away. You say, maybe
-
I want to go to some small church somewhere because
-
they just I told She's like, I say.
-
No, your church needs you because you this is our future.
-
We want to know what it's like to keep following Christ,
-
even in that until the age. If you all disappear
-
and just leave the young people themselves, you never know
-
what happened. They'll destroy themselves.
-
The church is intergenerational, that's how God does, he says, families.
-
And I said, we need all. Don't feel like you
-
need to.
-
Yeah, I understand the step. But I have to feed myself,
-
like you said, we have to. I mean, you're old enough,
-
you're mature. How many years tenerady, you're mature. How much
-
baby food do you need? Wait enough for babyfood? You
-
cannot grow myselves babyfood you swallow all the time the day.
-
You know how they say children development. If they don't
-
start chewing, they won't know how to speak. They can't
-
do a lot of things. You know. They need to
-
have solid. You cannot give chok chop all the time.
-
They have to have some solid, all right. So she said, yeah,
-
I'll feed myself, but but I keep myself going because
-
I have a small group still.
-
And I saw I do Bible study.
-
I said, excellent, keep doing a small group, keep encouraging
-
the people, and that's how you're blessing your community, your church.
-
She said, okay, okay, because she said, but I feel
-
like we all at the back then, oh waiting.
-
You know past is you know, always.
-
Addressing the young families or the young people. But the
-
church must have young people. Moment you don't see teenagers
-
in your church or children, you're in trouble. We must
-
embrace children, We must embrace them. I know, they're very noisy,
-
but we must embrace them because they won't be noisy
-
for long just about six years, okay, and.
-
Then they'll grow up and then they won't and then
-
later you.
-
Regret got no noiser. But children now a blessing event.
-
So we need all age groups.
-
Yeah.
-
Extra started as a young people, very young church. And
-
people always say you're you ur you church? Well, have
-
you come to the water of life. You will be
-
young forever. So remember if you're an extra, your inheritance,
-
I give it to you youthful forever. Look at you, know, youthful,
-
same by day? She laughs, Same today, our lie son,
-
same today. Then now amen, eat a fool all right?
-
You know your inheritance in next church is I give
-
to you what I have.
-
What the Lord is that you look young like me?
-
You know how I'm going to be sixty right right,
-
so I know twenty five? The hell o white ready? Okay? Amen?
-
But God gives us everything, Amen. And we need each
-
other to cheer one another on, to look at our future.
-
And our future is eternity in the Lord.
-
Amen.
-
And so I have to keep up you today simply
-
because we need to. Number one is to know Christ
-
and keep knowing Christ. The key in my k pop
-
is to know Amen.
-
To know Christ.
-
The highest goal church a man, the ultimate goal is
-
to know is to know the Lord. Hey, it's not
-
just one day you accept the Christ and then you're happy,
-
But you continue to know husbands and.
-
Wives in the room. Where are you give me a wife?
-
All right? Hey, you know your wife?
-
Husband? Why if you know your husband? The word no
-
is an intimate.
-
No.
-
That is the word God uses to know him. It's intimate,
-
it's deep. It produces life. Amen, it brings life to
-
each other, not just having the children. Because in marriage,
-
even without the children, you are a family. You know
-
each other. This is the fellowship. This is the first
-
thing you know each other. That's a depth.
-
And God wants us to know him.
-
And we can't know him overnight because in any relationship
-
it takes time.
-
We take time in our friendship. Even in marriage.
-
It is not for the faint hatted, because if you
-
are faint hautted, you will give up very quickly in
-
the first year.
-
Why because this monster is not the one I dated.
-
He's trying his socks everywhere. Oh my goodness, he fats
-
in front of me. Oh no, she doesn't look like that.
-
Actually, we don't make us something else, all right, see
-
no makeup. See this is reality. That's what my husband
-
see every day. No change. Yeah, light that okay, wake
-
up light that live in the middle like that. So
-
you know he wasn't too surprised that the same face.
-
But some husband will take her already. I see eye dona,
-
so be happy without I see I all right, all right,
-
But so you you like, But you take time to
-
get to know your your spouse, and may we take
-
time to accept and embrace the difference. Same with us
-
knowing Christ, we grow in our faith to embrace all
-
that God has. I feel, even forty over years walking
-
with Christ, I'm like relearning everything again. I'm reading the
-
Book of Romans again, like I don't know how many times,
-
but it again reminds me.
-
Of the free gift of Jesus Christ.
-
It reminds me again that I don't live under the law.
-
There's nothing I can do to earn his love or
-
to be saved. But it's a free give Romans, Chapter one.
-
All the way, when you read through the Book of Romans,
-
it brings you back to the whole reason why I'm
-
following Christ. And why I can do nothing, but I
-
cannot do anything to gain him, but I can do
-
everything to please him.
-
Amen. So to know Christ, I.
-
Want us to the key in my pop all right.
-
The K my K pop is as in verse Philippians,
-
and the main reading is from Philippians, chapter three, and
-
taking the reading from verse ten all the way to
-
verse fifteen. So let me read this with you first,
-
and then we move on. Let's look at the scripture
-
that brings us through this. Taking Philippians chapter three and
-
verse ten.
-
You can flip to your Bibles.
-
It says here Philippians, chapter three and verse ten.
-
He says that that I'm somebody say it.
-
Louder, Amen, hear yourself say it, that I may and
-
the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his
-
sufferings being conformed.
-
To his death, if by any means I may attain
-
to the resurrection from the dead number verse twelve.
-
Now not that I have already attained, Hey, not that
-
I've already you know, I'm there. I'm there not yet,
-
or I'm already perfected. But I press on that I'm
-
a layhold on that for which Christ Jesus has also
-
laid whole Amen of me, He laid whole of me. Brethren,
-
I do not count myself to have apprehended. But one
-
thing I do, One thing I do, he says, what
-
forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to
-
those things which are ahead? Reaching forward, I press toward
-
the goal for the price of the upward call of
-
God in Christ Jesus. I press on towards the upward
-
call of Christ in Christ Jesus. Now, if you sit
-
here and think and say, like what my friends and
-
Deo says, I've heard this scripture before, nothing to learn.
-
You've already got nothing to learn.
-
But if you say to yourself, scripture is brand new
-
every day. It's a reminder. Amen, why we do quiet
-
time because it's a reminder. It's a building of our relationship.
-
So this relationship you are building is that you may
-
know Christ, Amen, a deep desire to pursue Christ, friends,
-
a deep desire to continue to grow our relationship, that
-
you come to a place with Christ. And I've spoken
-
here before about our relationship with Christ, is that it's
-
not like you waiting for someone to beat you on Ahila,
-
I see, I feel God's going to beat you. And
-
that's how we behave sometimes, but he's not like that.
-
He is longing for us to come near, to dwell
-
in him, to to hear his heart, to even be corrected.
-
God does correct us, He does discipline, but only so
-
that we can grow. Only we can recognize that God
-
is good, and he's good all the time.
-
Amen. So the word no, it's a very it's a
-
very deep word.
-
It's a powerful word in the in the Greek, so
-
that you hear it before in the Greek. I can't
-
even pronounce it. The pronunciation. The spelling is different. I
-
spelled it the way I want to pronounce it. I
-
have God knows go Okay, God knows God, and so
-
deep it's to know it is to have knowledge, but
-
beyond that is to heaven intimate intimate relationship as like
-
a husband and wife, to go so deep with Jesus. So, friends,
-
don't stop knowing Jesus. Amen, don't stop building your relationship
-
with Christ, because the knowing brings you to another level
-
of your faith.
-
I know God, I yes.
-
Followed him, but I'm again reminded that there's so much more.
-
I don't know so much my heaven experience. I want
-
to do what he's asking me to do, to lay
-
hands and pray for the sick, to see them here,
-
to speak into people's lives, to discern by the gifts
-
of the spirit, what's going on in the situation.
-
So much more. But I need to know him.
-
I must give my time to him, pursue him and
-
hunger for his presence, Amen, that we may know him.
-
So I encourage us to continue in your pursuit of
-
Christ because He pursued you. Amn, he pursued you, and
-
that you will.
-
Just experience God's amazing grace today. Amen.
-
And why do I say this to us, Because in
-
your journey there are going to me seasons when you
-
feel like.
-
Not doing anything for me? How come no prayer?
-
And so why that worst day you come back? Why
-
that wasn't taller than me like you? Didn't you so
-
taller than me.
-
Like you? How can I thought? You know, we all
-
want to grow all.
-
I want to be able to achieve this at this time,
-
in this stage of my life. Or my parents told me, hey,
-
you so you're so unkindly told me you know my
-
dad was alive right now you just passed on.
-
We ask you for grandchildren. You give us four leg good?
-
Yeah?
-
The dog. Now is my kid log. At least you
-
have a falling gat. I know I don't have a
-
two leg one.
-
But yeah too, Bed, there was a long time they
-
told me they gave up after day, you know, pursuing
-
the Lord and going through seasons where there might be
-
thinks you desire, thinks you're praying about things you're even
-
some of I know how how different breakthroughs we are
-
praying for.
-
Waited so long to see a.
-
Family gets say, to see people coming back to the Lord.
-
You know, it's a long journey. Something's happened overnight, something's
-
very quickly. Some things don't.
-
But does that mean you break up? No, we don't
-
break up. We keep.
-
By the grace of God, we don't break up. We
-
get to know God a little bit more. Trying to
-
understand how much she's wanting for us, Amen, and Paul says, yeah,
-
that I may know the power of His resurrection. We
-
all want the power of the resurrection, but we may
-
not always want the fellowship of the sufferings. The fellowship
-
although you and I may never need to go to
-
the cross, we know we will never need to go
-
to the cross to suffer, but to fellowship with Jesus sufferings.
-
Some people will be in fellowship of the suffering of
-
Christ for a long time. And when you ask them
-
why do you still follow Christ, they say, there's no
-
one else. There's no reason for me to leave him
-
because he is a faithful God. But to do on
-
earth the situations like that Earth is filled with sin.
-
God is not sin.
-
God wants the goodness, but his grace continues to help us.
-
You must thing wider when you're going through your tough times. Yeah,
-
because there are people who are going through hell.
-
You don't know that.
-
Countries that are persecuted, their lives are they're giving up
-
their lives for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Others are
-
going through war. It's never ending. In Ukraine, it's never ending,
-
years never ending there. You know wars and more stories
-
of wars.
-
But what do we do. I want to.
-
Encourage us church to know Christ, to go deeper with him,
-
to know how much He loves. Your death is the contentment.
-
It's not in how much you can get, but how
-
much God will give you. But as you live your
-
life in giving and believing, your contentment, your assurance, your
-
firm foundation is really in Jesus, Amen, so that you
-
will not be shaken.
-
Through the storms.
-
I also have to build this firm foundation continuously that
-
I might not be shaken. I have to ask myself,
-
what if someone asks me, do you believe in God?
-
Will I dare say yes and not just say God?
-
Do you believe in Jesus, the name that is hated?
-
Can I say yes? I am a follow of Jesus.
-
We must have that courage, Joe read that scripture. Be
-
bold enough, good courage.
-
Amen. We need courage more than boness. We need courage.
-
Then we can be bold. Amen.
-
So that's my key to know Christ, to go deeper,
-
to allow the Lord to to really pullow meate through
-
your whole heart, your whole mind, and not be shaken
-
even when things don't go your way. Your assurance is
-
that He's got you in his hands despite all circumstances.
-
But we also know that the Lord does open doors
-
for us, he does make a way for us us.
-
He does bring light at the.
-
End of the tunnel. Amen.
-
And he is also the Lord who is now giving
-
you the victories. He's also the Lord who's prospering the
-
work of your hands.
-
He's the Lord who has healed your bodies. Amen. Amen,
-
We walk in that knowing and this is our ultimate goal,
-
to know the lot. Amen. And then my pen my pop.
-
All right, it's the press on. Ah, So that texts
-
me to the press on. Press on. Okay. The Greek
-
word is the echo.
-
It means to pursue, Like, okay, how many have you
-
do marathons?
-
Yeah, some very famous people take marathons. How many of
-
you do marathons? Or in man.
-
Or oh maybe you're the you do spinning?
-
Okay, this plannd on spinners. You know the bicycle thingy uh.
-
Huh ah yeah, spinning, right, so you you can't stop.
-
You gotta keep going, and you yourself sayd no, I
-
gotta go, I go to go. When you do your marathon,
-
you don't run short spring gun. You you go the
-
long run. And so when you practice for your marathon,
-
you're up constantly training to do the long run. And
-
our faith is like that, we're not doing one hundred meters,
-
we're doing a marathon.
-
We have to press on.
-
Amen. So if you remember your marathons. I've never run
-
a marathon. I will probably never run a marathon.
-
I don't know.
-
Oh my men, Benducky book climb monkey. Don't think so
-
now my stage not interested. But anyway, I have other
-
bookkeets to you know, other mountains in my life. But
-
ain't no mountain high enough, women, Yeah, because God will
-
reach you. Ain't no mountain high, ain't no valley low. Yeah,
-
that God cannot reach you. But what we do is
-
we press on, We press on, is to keep focused
-
on the goal, which is the cross Jesus Christ. And
-
we move towards the goal that is Christ. Because he
-
says here mentioned two times in Philippians, and he says
-
here in verse twelve, not that I have already reach.
-
Or am perfected, but I press on.
-
So don't look for perfection, look for moving on, pressing
-
on to lay hold of that which Christ has laid
-
hold for you. That miss Jesus already laid hold for you.
-
So you press on because He's done it for you.
-
Press on. There are two times.
-
The next time he will mention again, press on, press on,
-
keep going. So the peed for me is so important,
-
is that we speed on earnestly.
-
Just keep speeding on you. I don't know how I think.
-
There's so many, so many examples you get think of
-
in your life right, especially marathons.
-
There are a lot of people in eggs who take part marathons.
-
So hey, but every marathon that there even fly to
-
Sydney or fly to be with a America. Where was
-
that Boston? The Boston Run? You know it takes pressing
-
on because you have.
-
To fly there.
-
You have to press on, right, and so people you
-
see in the natural, you can understand press on, come on.
-
People in the spiritual, it is parallel. Press on your work.
-
Some of you work like you have no other life
-
but your work.
-
Yeah, you just work because you this.
-
Is your bread and butter. You don't work, you don't
-
eat right, So you work and you press on.
-
You you hit, you hit a blockage. You still have
-
to find a way to solve the problem and then
-
open up a way and move on. How come in
-
the natural, you guys know how to press on.
-
Grow up.
-
People in the natural, you know how to press on.
-
You can take a marathon when you sick or so
-
you will get up and go to work. I know,
-
but come to just cannot seek today, But I still
-
say press on, press on, yeah, press on.
-
See we we understand the natural. Things.
-
Your house renovations, people doing renovation renovation months.
-
The contractor would tell you, yeah, some ten days, ten days.
-
Not true, it never never fulfield one, I come there
-
ten days really, why you're out already? You know?
-
Another ten days.
-
Like five minutes, five minutes you're coming, No, five minutes
-
out ten hours that you know. But you press on
-
because you want your house to complete. You don't kick
-
the contractor out unless they're really really doing nonsense.
-
You have to change contractor.
-
You still change contractor to press on so that your
-
house gets done. So I want to say in your
-
faith to know the end is to press on despite
-
everything else where the people around you are are moving on, girl.
-
People are behind you, people are succeeding people not succeeding you.
-
You feel like life is too still.
-
Life will stand still for you if you can't, if
-
you take away your focus on the one who got
-
hold of you now, if you can just see the
-
Lord not he has never forgotten you.
-
It's just that your path and my path are different.
-
We can't both take the same paths. We're doing the
-
same kind of life on earth, but our paths are different. Yeah,
-
it's crazy, but we press on. You just got to
-
push a little bit, little bit of energy to start
-
pushing to and say, Lord, you took hold of life
-
for me.
-
I'm gonna go and get it. So I need to
-
press on. Amen.
-
And maybe that path is not the same as someone else.
-
But God has something that he's working in you and
-
through you to take you know, to really I don't know,
-
pursue something that you may not even dream of yet,
-
but he's preparing you for that.
-
Amen, hallelujah. So he says here.
-
I'm not perfect, I'm not there yet. And people don't
-
have the don't have the feeling that you have to
-
be there. You just got to go and keep pursuing
-
the Lord. It is tough. Somethings is tough. Somethings in
-
life cost us a lot of money. Health we cost
-
us so much money. Sometimes we don't know what do
-
they know?
-
It didn't heal me? Or God didn't? Why is it
-
everything God's fault? Huhm?
-
Why is it God's fault? Relationship don't work? Got God's fault?
-
Who's the one who decided our date?
-
That girl? Did you ask Jesus? You didn't? Hey? I
-
live long enough, la sixty years old? Gonna come? You think? Why? Yesterday?
-
Bonner Hello, you choose that person.
-
If that person ain't treating you right leaving, why do
-
you suffer because you don't so? The outomate answer, I
-
don't believe a lord living alone wholesoy, man, it's worse
-
the hella, wrong relationship, wrong marriage is hell? You know,
-
I don't know what hell is like. My heard is
-
really hot, it's really hot. It's really bad. I wanna
-
say to us, you feel like you can't press on
-
because you're not getting where you want to be. How
-
about we say, Lord, I surrender. No, I don't know already.
-
I'm really at lost with this. Not I surrender Church Canona?
-
Who else to surrender to? I asked you, it's better
-
to surrender to the law. Okay, yes, we better surrendered?
-
Were better? I give myself to the Lord, and then
-
you will guide my path. Amen. There are lot of.
-
Things I want but has not happened. Do I sit
-
there and cry about it?
-
I don't.
-
I can't afford do why because God has gotten whold
-
of me, the great things I.
-
Have yet to see.
-
Imagine if if I stopped because I failed and stopped
-
and not move on, we will not be here. We
-
will not have a PJ we will not have a
-
whatever the Lord knows. So I want to say I
-
do have had my downtimes. I do have not had
-
all my dreams come true, but other dreams were birth.
-
Why because you press on in the midst when you
-
can't make sense of everything, and you can't make sense
-
of everything, you are not God. He is. Let him
-
unfold to you the plans that He has for you,
-
which might not be what you want, because your brain
-
is only so much. God's brain is bigger. He has
-
better days for you. He does, he does. Although you
-
are fellowshiping with sufferings right now, you still can surrender.
-
I want to encourage the church this way. I'm not
-
going to preach you messages that make you feel happy
-
and send you to hell.
-
Come on, don't complain. We're not being fed.
-
I am feeding you. Don't churge up because you want
-
something feel good. I am not here for feel good messages.
-
I'm here to tell you some days you will fellowship
-
with sufferings, but you are never alone. Brand sisters, we
-
should be supporting them, praying with them, cheering them on.
-
It's okay when it hasn't happened, it hasn't broken true,
-
when our parents don't get healed.
-
You get what I mean.
-
When our parents are down, they're not and you get
-
healed overnight, what can you do?
-
You your prayer are strong enough.
-
Don't you ever say that, you come alongside and you
-
cry with that person because you want to help to
-
get the press on because death is not the worst
-
thing either. Death is not Christians, Please, sir, do not
-
treat death like, oh my God, what is that?
-
Where the young old?
-
Whenever it happens, you be ready, really, we must be ready.
-
But we journey with people, journey with our partners, journey
-
with our homebies, journey with our friends. The best thing
-
we can do is, you know, call them, pray with them.
-
You may not think your prayer matters, by tell you
-
it does. They might be going to a broken down relationship,
-
they might be going to their financial circumstances. Sometimes it's complicated.
-
I try to think of a wave or break. So
-
I say, Lord God, anyhow I can share with them?
-
And I don't have how.
-
Some things is we made the mistake, loved. But I
-
want to say to my brother and my sister press on.
-
But I know it feels like no door opened. But
-
the Lord says he will open the door. So what
-
do we do? We wait because he already laid hold
-
of us. Amen, we see the pressing on us. Put
-
my eyes on Jesus, not on anyone else. Put my
-
eyes on Jesus, not on how come this person? Prayer answers, Hey,
-
how come that one got a bigger house than me?
-
You think life is about the bigger house?
-
Are you? I'm telling you I live in a big house.
-
Is terrible. So much housewok to do?
-
Yeah? I mean I'm not ungrateful God bless us gave
-
us the house. But you know, in my life, the
-
way I'm living, my I cannot love how to clean
-
house every day?
-
House? I need a COCKU know, the like robot. I
-
don't know.
-
No, don't just say whatever you are you have you
-
know on to do what pressing on is to be
-
grateful and thankful, Thank you Lord.
-
I'm here. It's tough. I'm here. Thank you Lord. It's tough.
-
I'm here. And then when you break too, you better
-
praise the Lord. Hallelujallah. Give up everything, So Jesus said,
-
right whoa.
-
He opened a door, A money pouring onto your let
-
our business booming. What you think only that you rejoice
-
now even in our hard times. I cannot journey with you.
-
When my dad was sicking, were you journeying with me?
-
You couldn't be there. When your dad can't go toilet
-
and put you there with me to clean him up,
-
You can't be there. What can you do? Don't say
-
that my prayers not answered?
-
What do you do?
-
You say, Lord, give them grace? You say, Lord, help them.
-
When you have a wayward child running away from Jesus,
-
you say, oh, I see Lord, your parent thinks killed you.
-
Please don't say that.
-
You give you pray and say, Lord, love this child,
-
Love him back to you.
-
What can we do?
-
I tell all my elders, my pastors and their children.
-
I tell their children, I don't expect more from you.
-
I don't. I don't even want to force you to
-
know Christ just because your father is a pastor. You
-
come to know Christ when you're ready. I tell that
-
to all our elders and our pastor's children. I want
-
to judge you because you are not a Christian until
-
you accept Christ for yourself. So please don't be pressured
-
by all the church members. Church members, don't pressure our pastes.
-
Kits are they're like you no more.
-
Just because the father's a pastor, he's name money pasta.
-
He's still the same man and woman right not still
-
trying to raise the kid. How the kid comes to lave?
-
I mean, I don't know what they're doing. They do
-
the bestla the town wants to make a decision, makes
-
a dishmself.
-
But what do you do? You just say, we're pressing
-
on it.
-
We'll press on Amen, so key in our faith so
-
that we can stay the court and don't belod here
-
below there, everywhere, below, down and below. Just keep on
-
the path. But we need each other to say press on.
-
You can't write.
-
I pray with you.
-
Maybe you need the money. I give you money now
-
if I have, I give to you to help you.
-
We need to come back to that we called exa
-
go and read X chapter tour. When there was a need,
-
we gave. We gave to each other what we have love.
-
We don't have a lot of love, but we give
-
what we can Amen or our help where we can now.
-
But everyone has a lesson to learn it because we
-
must search your own heart first.
-
What did you do? Did you apologize?
-
Did you did you put out your own funds first,
-
or you're keeping in the bank asking us to give
-
you cannot You must put out your own funds first.
-
Man.
-
So that's the p in my pop. Pressing on That
-
was verse twelve. Press on even though we're not perfect yet, Amen, anyone.
-
Here perfect already?
-
No I'm not, but I'm pressing on. I'm pressing on. Thirdly,
-
is it says here verse thirteen, Brethren, I don't count
-
myself to have but one thing.
-
I do.
-
One thing I do forgetting those things which are behind
-
and reaching forward to those things which are head. So
-
the the oh in my pop, all right now I
-
say the word here is my slide.
-
It says to.
-
Forgetting the past to be oblivion. Some people are very
-
good at being oblivion. That irritates me. Like the dirt
-
is there right, I cannot see, right right right, the
-
whole place there is in a mess I cannot see.
-
Somebody else will clean the mess and that oblivion. Please
-
don't lie.
-
But when it's our past, our mistakes. We made a mistake.
-
I had a bad day, but let's turn it around.
-
I just had a bad day. Don't rehash every day.
-
Bad day, bad day, bad day, bat day, bad day.
-
Of course, press on lah. Right, some days we have
-
a bad day. We do have bad days, but let's
-
pray it'll.
-
Be turned around.
-
Right, made bad decision, you know, maybe for the company.
-
You know you're gon't order one thousand towels, actually only
-
need a ten if you work in the hotel line
-
and you pale every day.
-
I don't know.
-
We just had a bad day, but I believe Jesus
-
helped me turn it around. The oblivion is I'm not
-
asking you say I sin and I'm oblivious to my sin.
-
No, we've seen we repent, but you know why we
-
made a mistake. We we got lost.
-
Some days we just lost our brain a time, and
-
we lost our brain.
-
We did something that we're not proud of. We did
-
something that we shouldn't.
-
We know we shouldn't do it, but we did it
-
because my cornor my flesh wanted it.
-
We wanted it.
-
Can be anything, friends, anything, you name it there. But
-
if you repent, then you say to the Lord, I
-
forgive me. You speak to someone you need to. You
-
need to have someone to count to that will help
-
you a lot so that that giant insight won't keep
-
popping and saying I know what you did less up.
-
You're like GENI you get back in the bottle, alright,
-
still said your past get back in that bottle.
-
All right? You know that song? Okay, never mind, so you.
-
You don't allow that to keep rehashing that I made
-
the wrong choice, I ate the wrong thing. And sometimes
-
oh I know, I wish I didn't go on knock
-
if I can't do my viva.
-
You know all those people don't PhD you your talk
-
to your lecture. Now you can't talk to your lecture
-
because you're sick. You ate some some bad garry puff. Okay,
-
all right, so you rehash and your hash I wish
-
I didn't do that.
-
I wish I didn't do that, or oh my goodness,
-
my child is like this because and you hash. Maybe
-
it's mistakes, maybe it's an accident. I mean I I
-
just went and got my husband's god damage driving.
-
Car and I didn't hit someone.
-
Someone hit me, yeah, ripped off the bumper in the front.
-
And then I'm like, well I got down. The car's
-
holding me. You know, they're like the after buggy. I
-
drive the same road. Okay, look at the road. See
-
so many cars stops holding me again sixty Auntie the
-
year old. Go to the police station. Okay, he stop
-
screaming at me, and.
-
I didn't hit him. You hit me because it's around about.
-
You shouldn't have moved.
-
So I'm thinking I shouldn't have taken his car, But
-
I couldn't drive out His cars drive every power, and
-
I just have to get to work driving a car
-
with his flap.
-
Going to spend half a day in the police station.
-
Waste my time, and then you keep going rehashing, wish
-
I didn't take the car. Some days you wasted. We
-
waste our time because we cannot forget our past. We
-
can't forget our offenses. People offended us. We cannot forget
-
our we made the wrong choice. We cannot forget the
-
rejection we felt. We cannot forget You know different things.
-
That hurt you.
-
But if Paul says, if you don't forget, you can't
-
move forward. I tell myself I don't like to talk
-
about I do like messages. They keep asking you to
-
forget your past. But I find it in church people
-
never forget their past. No, no, no, they don't forget
-
my past.
-
I remember what you did last summer.
-
They keep reminding you you're not already.
-
When we do show me, give me a chance to
-
get it right. Now, give your son a chance to
-
get it right. Give your wife, get yours and get
-
it right. Don't remind them, but to do that already.
-
Okay, So the hang us yours ready.
-
We wanna do redo it again?
-
Water again, black halluis cannot So we have to get
-
out of me, clear it and then boil again up,
-
boil another porridge. We have to forget now that this
-
this this word here forgetting the past is to be
-
oblivion meaning I'm forgiven and I need to take it off.
-
Is a it's just gotta remove it.
-
That's why when you're running your marathon, you some people
-
wear very little.
-
Clothes, skinny clothes. Why because you don't want anything.
-
To resistance, right, the what you win resistance, the lesser
-
thick clothes you have, the bullypacho la bay. You know
-
you can really, you know, really make it really run fast.
-
So the sin that he Brew chapter one, verse twelve says,
-
the sin that so easily trips us up, the sin
-
that so easy it reminds us. We have to say,
-
have I repented? Repentance is very important? Sorry, Lord, forgive
-
me or sorry, doctor Jason, please forgive me. You gotta
-
ask for that forgiveness, and whether he forgives me that,
-
I can't help you.
-
Right, So I asked for it. Right.
-
My job is to I'm really sorry, I'm repentant. Then
-
I have got to do that and then I've got
-
to flip it off so that i can move forward.
-
To talk about a pressing on? So what's stopping us
-
from pressing on? Because there are things that I'm so
-
sorry about. I keep rehashing my pass and I can't
-
move on, and that's what keeps a lot of people behind.
-
So the finishing line is there, you know, but we
-
cannot also for us to forget what others have done,
-
because then you're reminding them.
-
But sometimes I feel like they should be reminded. Do
-
you know how much I hurt?
-
Now you know how much I paid? Do you know
-
how I went through? I need to remind you. Do
-
you think that's going to affect them?
-
I don't know.
-
They are oblivion, but I'm reminded. And when I'm reminded,
-
I hurt, and when I hurt, I cannot move forward.
-
And so God made a way for us, and he
-
taught us to forgive and if we and we and
-
if people have wronged us, like they say you did
-
this and I didn't you, still you go and say sorry, law, apologize, repent,
-
I don't know, ask for forgiveness, and and we we
-
move so that we can move forward.
-
We need to this. We need to say, okay, done this.
-
I'm sorry if it's an eye thing, but it could
-
be a you thing against me, So I need to
-
take that and forgive and then move forward.
-
Amen. Can I not judge? We've got to cast it out.
-
Anything that will distract you.
-
Anything the enemy will take anything to distract you from
-
going forward to your e turn plans that God has
-
for you. And we have to say, we're all cheering
-
the heavenlys are cheering you on.
-
Cool edeline.
-
Run and you're trying to run, but you feel like
-
I cannot. I cannot, my legs are too short. Run No, run, edeline, run,
-
You owe this thing, this thing, But they're cheering you
-
and they're go for it.
-
Amen.
-
And we're all cheering each other on. We should be
-
cheering each other on not reminding us of our pass.
-
But we can't disciple each other to get through. Certain
-
things need to remove the roadblocks. Amen, all right, forgetting
-
those things. Because if you feel like no one is
-
praying for you, yow, this is dead, then I want
-
to tell you got the great High Priest spring in
-
the seeding for you. Who better to pray for you
-
than the Lord Jesus himself standing before the Father, seated
-
at the right head in the seeding for you and
-
me in our greatest time of need. But I know
-
we're living on planet Earth. I'm sorry it is a
-
fallen world. But we are fallen men and women who.
-
Have been redeemed. We have been redeemed.
-
May the Lord help us the Amen. So we need
-
to forget, We need to forgive. Life is such. If
-
you don't forget all and don't forgive, you'll come back
-
again one. It's like I don't know why it goes
-
one around me, boom rang back to you again. So
-
you cannot run away. If you don't tell the truth now,
-
and you run away and you don't tell the truth again,
-
and you still you don't tell the truth, then forever
-
you don't tell the truth. Mins, I just tell the truth. Okay,
-
why don't we tell them? We don't tell truth because
-
we scared?
-
Right? I scared. I guess school.
-
I scared my boss Myra, I scare my motto like me,
-
I scared you, But they scared. What are we scared of?
-
What actually are we scared of? So you and I
-
were many adults here, right.
-
You scared? Pasters call you? You always have.
-
Use my name better a person to call you. Don't
-
use my name in vain key, but don't ask you.
-
We are not scared to sin. Come on charge you
-
and I are not afraid to sin behind closed doors,
-
behind open doors. Don't say you're scared of me and
-
I can do nothing? Do you simply use my name?
-
I'm nothing, just the servant of the Lord. That's all,
-
servant of the watching the dirt you keep your pastor like, really,
-
that's what we do. We carry you in the midst
-
of your storm, if you tell me, I will carry
-
you together like we we more blood than dirt with you.
-
We don't stand there laughing you. No, of course not.
-
You went through this all. Let's pray. What can we do?
-
That's the heart we have. But I know you're not
-
always seeing me.
-
You won't see me, but I hope my other pass
-
will you say my home leaders would just we're not
-
as Yeah, you get what I mean, we have the right there. No,
-
when you sin, you're so clever to sin, you're not scared.
-
We're not scared to do the wrong thing. Then I
-
asked you do the right thing. Love, you scared to
-
do the right thing? What are you scared to do
-
the right thing? Don't be scared to do the right thing.
-
We seem so easy to sin. Doesn't make a way
-
for us. Let us repent and take that, and say, Lord,
-
take this, and he throws it into the depths of
-
the sea, never to remember your sin again.
-
Your past.
-
We are very shame of our past. Sometimes some of
-
us have different paths, different kind of paths. We shouldn't
-
judge people's past, what's in their.
-
Closet and on.
-
We should encourage and cheer each other on because our
-
past doesn't determine also our future.
-
If we knew.
-
Each other's past, we probably stand there and go double
-
lay humanly, we will say that, bully, But by the
-
grace of God, all things are possible.
-
To the Lord.
-
Amen, so be oblivion to It's done already, Lord, What
-
else can we do?
-
Right?
-
So we repent, we say sorry, we ask for forgiven,
-
as we seek the Lord. We surrender. Then he says,
-
come on up, child, come on up, and you're like,
-
I can't Lord. My past keeps me mind. No, come
-
on up, child, come up higher. Run can't Lord, this
-
thing keeps holding me. So that's where Goda be all
-
believing God to take it off. If you know how
-
to run a marathon physically, you need to know how
-
to run the spiritual marathon.
-
You should be able to apply the same principles. Amen.
-
Amen, So don't allow the disappointments, the offenses, the failures,
-
and the wrongs to keep coming back to you.
-
Let it go.
-
I think sometimes just letting go will open a door
-
of break to already.
-
Let's just let it go.
-
Fail me, throw my money, ran away, whatever took my
-
things to all this. I cannot even tell you what
-
are the things that people do to us? Okay, God,
-
I surrender and I'm going to bury it in the name.
-
Of Jesus and the blood of the Lamb. I need
-
a new day.
-
I need to believe that God will give me the
-
ability to get the past, and I'm going to go forward.
-
God already got that for me.
-
Amen, And you press on, Amen, and we close with
-
the last pop.
-
The P in my pop, the people, the p in
-
my last pop says this.
-
On inverse in verse fourteen, I press toward again, press on,
-
comes up again toward the.
-
Goal for the prize of the upward call of God
-
in Christ.
-
Jesus, friends, your prize is eternal, has nothing to do
-
with our gold or silver. This price is your eternity,
-
is your salvation. This price is such a great prize
-
that the devil will one rob you of your price,
-
which is your salvation, which is your walk with Jesus.
-
There are a lot of things that will come away
-
that will distract us, that would that you will compromise.
-
And I want to tell you Jesus, it's not a
-
spirit of compromise. Church.
-
Are you listening.
-
You might not like me, you might change church when
-
I tell you this, But I have to tell you this.
-
There is no compromise every decision we make. If CHR
-
say this is a A A no, no compromise, A
-
B no, it's just A.
-
It's B. God is very clear and he didn't do
-
this to hurt us. He did it to set us free.
-
But the moment you compromise, you will get into a rut.
-
Then your price which is eternal tabule cannot reach already.
-
Because we get hindered. Hindered, hindered, more hurdles come about.
-
So my lessons of learning is if I don't if
-
I have my insecurities and I don't overcome it, meaning
-
we all have in securities. We all do, but we
-
need to begin to remove them by the grace of
-
God's Lolila and the flesh. The flesh are very strong
-
or very canal. The cannel man wants his way. But
-
I keep reading this verse, and I've been saying this verse.
-
This is what Roman says. I am dead to sin,
-
but I'm alive to God. In Jesus, Oh Jesus, I'm
-
dead to sin. Why do I let these things stop
-
me from flourishing?
-
I am dead to sin.
-
Your water baptism, Hey, brother sisters, if you haven't taken
-
your water baptism, you should have taken uplow down. Please
-
don't say you're waiting for your mother to give you permission.
-
How medular And when he was twenty five years old
-
telling me, no, have you taken your whatever? No?
-
What are you waiting for? That time? Can with hair on?
-
I said, for so long, Christie, you know think you're
-
what a baptism? Wandola? You behave like this? Get what
-
a baptized?
-
Why you die in christsh and you resurrec in the
-
power of God? What a baptism is so important? I
-
don't know what you are waiting for? You wan permission?
-
Are you twelve? You're third dealer? Please go in water baptize.
-
The power of baptism is we die to sin, we
-
die to the old man, and we rise up with
-
the new men.
-
You walk in the power Christ. You go for the price.
-
Your prize ain't the girl? Okay? Your prize in the
-
tells what tesla tells? A pulla tesla.
-
Your price is the high calling of God, and the
-
crown of life is what He is going to.
-
Give to us. We need to chew each other.
-
On and say keep running. And we fall down because
-
we fall down, not to lay our crowns.
-
We fall down because I you, Oh, this person is
-
set him guy. You know no, you needn't lay down
-
your crown. You're holding your earthly crowns holding people. Get on. No,
-
we have to look at the upward call of God.
-
There is a price.
-
You can't see it, but scripture tells us there's a
-
crown of life, so I think. I think, okay, brand sisters,
-
as we get older, you could be thirty six now,
-
one day you will be sixty six. If I'm alive,
-
I can't see you la. But as you grow older,
-
we should be calmer, more patient. Because sometimes I catch
-
myself say, as I grow older, I'm not so patient.
-
I hear. I don't say I'm I'm sorry, I'm more patient.
-
I'm a patient. I cannot wrong concept because he.
-
Says the fruit of the spirit is patience. My fruit gone, Really, Alma,
-
no more fruit.
-
What happened?
-
I should be growing and flourishing. I lost my fruit
-
of patience.
-
So so bold to say I already know time. No patience? Yeah,
-
I asked me.
-
Can I say like Jesus says, I grow in the Lord,
-
I become more like him, so I should be more
-
Calmer's something I really say, No patience. Maybe we have
-
to change her because there's an upward price he got
-
hold of from me already, so I can be all
-
that God wants me to be a man.
-
That's my key pop for you people. You got to
-
know Christ.
-
Without the knowing going deeper, you cannot pop.
-
See if you don't know. You cannot pop. You don't
-
find a reason to pop.
-
Why I don't know you? And we can be a
-
so called follower of Christ, but never pop why Because
-
you're not pressing on, You're not forgetting, you don't want to,
-
and then you don't bother about the price that is
-
eternal for us.
-
So if we don't start with the K.
-
And tell Jesus, nobody nobody but you, they're very right.
-
Nobody knew, very bad you.
-
It's Jesus, not mister Chew. Ohbody, nobody but Jesus. Amen,
-
you need the K so that you can pop, to
-
press on, to be oblivion to the past things that
-
hold us back.
-
We have to forget. We have to forgive, and we.
-
Need to run forward to the upward call to the
-
price that is set before us.
-
We cannot.
-
I just want to say to us, how brand sisters,
-
And I'm like you, I cannot go to Jesus because
-
now I'm thinking, right, if Jesus was looking at me
-
in the eye and asked me what do you have
-
against this person, his eyes will penetrate through my soul.
-
I don't think I have. I can even say he
-
hurt me. He forgot my name. They didn't count me
-
in the group. They chucked me out of the group,
-
they didn't choose me. I can't because when Jesus looks
-
into my soul, he will look at me with love.
-
He will not judge.
-
I can't blame my salvation or loss or lack or
-
whatever to that person, because it's always we are always.
-
Blaming a person. But it's not. It's us.
-
Even in our growing we have a person there in
-
our failing also a person. Blend Earth is full of
-
person's love, so we can run away. So when the
-
Lord would look at me and with his eyes and
-
he stares into the depth of my soul, I know
-
that I will not hold my head up high.
-
It's Evans fault. I cannot say that.
-
I will bow in humility, in brokenness and say, Lord,
-
there was no one, It's just me.
-
Man. So we just need to surrender. Amen.
-
I'm going to kill the musicians by asking this. You
-
know my favorite song, right, Jesus, I come, okay, it's
-
the song of the season.
-
It's for us, it's for ex church. We need to surrender.
-
Because if I really ask myself, as I prepared this message,
-
I said Jesus, if you actually if actually you were
-
actually actually he's here, love, But if he came in person,
-
if he could actually.
-
Touch him and he spoke to you, and he looked
-
into the soul.
-
Of your heart, I don't think I will have any
-
excuse to say why I am in this orientation, or
-
why I'm in this season, or why I'm that, or
-
why am I cannot I can I can feel not
-
his judgment. I can feel his love. That love of Jesus.
-
He just captures your heart and then you call it.
-
I can't do anything. I'm frozen as in I'm.
-
Still captivated by his love that I have to admit
-
that it's me.
-
I need help, Jesus. I can't blame anyone.
-
I can't blame my husband something that so no, my
-
husband's my boss, or so you know, gonna marous no
-
from by Marami in front of my colleagues, or so no,
-
I'm the wife something they forgot I'm the wife, or
-
so ah, because he treats me like everybody else. I'm
-
gonna tell you how I feel. I feel very down.
-
But because we don't show partiality, we treat everyone the same.
-
At that level, God treats us the same, not humanly,
-
but the way God treats us is he looks into us.
-
You can't come up with an excuse. If you can't
-
come up with an excuse, that means there's no one
-
to be blamed.
-
Me, amen, so that when you know him, you will
-
experience his.
-
Unfailing love and then you will press much Amen. The
-
things that stop us, we gotta let go ken. That
-
is my message to us, and you will hear me
-
speak this message in the next twenty years if I'm
-
still alive with you and then you go like boss the.
-
Sandra chain stop.
-
But my role and responsibilities prepare all of us for eternity.
-
Amen.
