  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day. I

  3. know you guys know one, but you're just shy. It's

  4. Hypercat two fourteen. Right, for the wholes will be filled

  5. with the knowledge of glory of God as the waters

  6. cover the sea. All right, that is our vision. Do

  7. you know our mission? I also know you guys know it.

  8. It's just that you guys are shy. Our mission is

  9. this to make disciples that make the difference. That's our mission,

  10. which means to say, when you come to ex chich

  11. and you call excience your home, this is what we

  12. are going for. We want to see the whole earth

  13. filled the knowledge of glory of God, starting with where

  14. you're at, your family, your workplace, your officers, where you're studying.

  15. That's what we want to see that wherever you're at,

  16. true you that the glory of God is made known,

  17. and we how do we do that? It's also true

  18. our mission to make disciples. There is in Matthew chapter

  19. twenty eight to make disciples, and not just any disciples,

  20. but disciples that make the difference, making an impact. So

  21. that is what we talk about. So if if you

  22. are quite new to Acts. If you never known about this,

  23. now here I am sharing it. If you there's a

  24. vision and mission of Acts, and that is what we

  25. are fully laser focused on. Other church may have other

  26. visions and mission and it's fine, right, But in Acts,

  27. if you come to Acts, this is what we are

  28. going for, right, and you will know that we emphasize

  29. a lot on the small, small groups our homes. Right.

  30. And when we do things small but small doesn't mean

  31. that we only focus on the small. Again, Remember the

  32. small is so that we can reach all. So it's

  33. actually quite big. The whole of will be filed. It's

  34. quite big, right, So we do it small because we

  35. have gotten this mandate from the Lord to say, we're

  36. not here to build a monument. We're not here to

  37. build big church buildings. Here to build a movement where

  38. every single disciple is mobilized to make the difference. So, friends,

  39. if you call yourself a disciple of Jesus, get ready

  40. to be mobilized. The Lord wants to partner with you

  41. to reach your friends. Life is more than just comfort.

  42. Just now, we also talk about abundant life. John ten ten,

  43. do you know abundant life doesn't mean just reaching material wealth,

  44. true abundant life scripturally and in in the in, in

  45. in really the way that God, the way our Lord

  46. sees abundant life is this that you go through ups

  47. and downs. You will never experience true happiness if you've

  48. never experience true sadness. You'll never experience true companionship without

  49. experiencing loneliness. And that's what the Lord says when it

  50. comes abundant life, and it ties in also, how can

  51. the Lord says, how can how can the Bible say,

  52. you know, carry the cross for say all things and

  53. follow me, but yet say abundant life is actually not conflicting,

  54. because if you want to have abundant life, you've got

  55. to carry the cross. And it is true suffering, It

  56. is true going through difficult times again, not we send

  57. the retire passau. That's French for finding problem. Now it's passa.

  58. It's no. It is when we follow the Lord and

  59. the Lord's purpose and when we go through hard times. Friends,

  60. you're guilt up for abundant life because again, if you

  61. don't go through tough times for the Lord, you will

  62. never truly experience abandoned life, material wealth, Exploring the world

  63. vacations and all that. Yes, comfortable, but friends, it is

  64. not abundant life. For those of you who have gone

  65. through really difficult times and have experience God delivering you,

  66. you know that it's abundant life. You know that that

  67. changes your perspective of what really matters and what is

  68. important in life. Right, there's no power the script. Ah,

  69. But I just send a lot to share this and

  70. we're going to the word. Right. I just want to

  71. before I share about the title of my message, I

  72. just want to ask all of us this question. Right,

  73. when you look at a Christian, can look around you

  74. for a bit, Okay, fellow brothers and sisters in Christ,

  75. around you? Okay, now look forward so that there's no

  76. hint of judgment for whatever that's I'm going to ask next. Okay,

  77. when you look at a Christian, my friends, what will

  78. make you say what this person is the very embodiment

  79. of Christ? Take a moment to think. Let me just

  80. make it simpler. When you look at the Christian, what

  81. will make you go this is a successful Christian, a

  82. true Christian. Take a moment to think, Okay, can I

  83. get you guys to participate by throwing out some words?

  84. What makes a true Christian forgiving? Okay anymore and a

  85. shame of the gospel anymore, faithful anymore, loving, very good anymore?

  86. Christ like very good, anymore? Joyful? Okay, very good anymore?

  87. Non judging, very good. That's why you guys have to

  88. look forward, right, friends, Okay, very good anymore anymore? Maybe

  89. one or two more? Just show it up, loving enemies.

  90. I heard that? Okay, one more? Sorry, true? Okay, very good? Hey,

  91. you guys attending Sunday? No Sunday? Wiship? What happened? Hey?

  92. Isn't that a mark of a true Christian coming to

  93. judge every Sunday? Sometimes Saturdays? Uh? Hey? Prayers of Noah

  94. and the homes serving in church every Sunday? No interesting?

  95. Huh That you guys didn't say any of those things.

  96. But if you think about it, when we think about

  97. a mark of a Christian, we usually look at these things,

  98. if you don't really think about it the moment one

  99. of our friends don't come to church. I'm a home leader,

  100. so sometimes I mean that I see that this person

  101. not coming to homes again. I see the homes leaders

  102. laughing because we have thought like that before. Am I

  103. right again? Late again? I'm like that also, I admit,

  104. but sometimes if we are not careful, we may put

  105. the wrong matrix INTI of whether a person is a

  106. true believer. Now, I'm not saying all this is not important.

  107. It's important. It's part of our growth, right, But I'm

  108. asking us to go a little bit deeper to see

  109. what it means to be a true believer. Coming back

  110. to abundant life. Okay, do you know that a Christian

  111. can go through Sunday surveys or worship, go to prayer surveys,

  112. go to homes and still not have abundant life. We

  113. all know this, right, So we gotta reflect and think

  114. what then is a true Christian? And of course I

  115. asked you to think about and look at others, look

  116. at your friends. Right now, I want us to introspect

  117. a bit, look at ourselves. Right are we being a

  118. true disciple of Jesus. I'm gonna get us to I'm

  119. gonna share a little bit on what Pasta can share

  120. with us. I hope that it's okay in a global

  121. e spirilitary. It's still very fresh. It's still very fresh

  122. for me. I'm still digesting it. But I just sense

  123. that this is something that that God has for us today.

  124. And I would like to just share with you the

  125. title of the message. If you guys are taking notes,

  126. it's gonna cross the line. Across the line. Cannot cross

  127. the line because we always tell people don't cross the liner.

  128. You're crossing the line, but across the line. It's the

  129. title of the message. Will you'll find out why it's

  130. not cross the line in the conclusion. Okay, So, but

  131. journey along with me. We're gonna look at Map chapter one,

  132. verse thety two to thirty nine. Okay, so can you

  133. flip open your bibles and turn to Map chapter one,

  134. verse thirty two to thirty nine. We're gonna go through

  135. scripture together, Okay, Mark chapter one, verse thirty two thirty nine. Okay.

  136. I want all of us diverse before we start reading,

  137. because this is very important, very important, and I want

  138. us to ailm up certain points of this scripture. Okay,

  139. if you're there, say I'm there. If you're not there,

  140. to say, wait for me. Okay, we'll wait for you.

  141. We wait for you. Don't worry. Okay, Okay, we're good.

  142. We're good. Mark chapter one, verse thirty two to thirty nine. Okay,

  143. let's go all right, follow along as I read verse

  144. thirty two. At evening, when the sun had said, they

  145. brought to him him, meaning Jesus, all who were sick

  146. and those who were demon possessed, and the whole city

  147. was gathered together at the door. Then he healed many

  148. who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons.

  149. And he did not allow the demons to speak, because

  150. they knew him. Now I want to pause here. Wow,

  151. isn't this a picture of a successful ministry. Imagine yourself

  152. as a disciple of Jesus. You start praying for a colleague,

  153. what a click got healed? Then your whole office hurt.

  154. Then your whole office queue up at your table. I

  155. want to be prayed too, Or wouldn't that be amazing?

  156. Imagine for a moment XPJA one day, the whole of

  157. PJ is at the doorstep until jaiyawa no place to park. Wow, right,

  158. people who want to come bouldering have to palk outside.

  159. Imagine that for a moment, and every all of you here,

  160. as you lay hands and pray, people get healed. As

  161. you lay hands and pray, people get delivered. Wow, isn't

  162. that a beautiful picture of ministry. Doesn't that feel like?

  163. This is success? Man, This is what ministry should look like. Oh,

  164. I'm living out the true Christian life. Healing the sin,

  165. delivering the demon possessed, raising the dead. Feels like it. Right,

  166. We're gonna continue reading verse thirty five. Now in the

  167. morning this right after that, having reason a long while

  168. before daylight, Jesus went out and departed to a solitary place,

  169. and there he prayed. I'm gonna pause he again. Any

  170. of you woken up very early in the morning before sunrise,

  171. and you prayed before any of you some of you

  172. have I have a question to ask you. When do

  173. you do that? What costs you to wake up so

  174. early to pray? Through our interactive interactive Huh cannot sleep?

  175. Why cannot sleep? Yo? Hey? No? Lie? Jason? Still young?

  176. Still young? Why why would you wake up early in

  177. the morning before sunrise? Quiet? And huh hungry? Sorry I

  178. can't hear It'll be loved of Sorry, prepare breakfast. There's

  179. a mom right there anymore? Anymore? Why why think of it?

  180. I went from your own personal experience? Why would you

  181. wake up usually maybe you won't wake up at that time?

  182. And usually people will call it ungtly hour. Why would

  183. you wake up at that time prompting of the Holy Spirit?

  184. We're getting hotter, we're getting there anymore anymore. Why why

  185. want to pray? Why you want to pray that spread

  186. for something we're getting somewhere. Think for a moment, Okay,

  187. I'll share from the moments. The days where I really

  188. wake up super early before sunrise to pray are days

  189. where I feel really disturbed. At days where I feel like,

  190. oh God, that I'm desperate. I cannot sleep, I'm rolling

  191. in my bed. I'm disturbed. I don't know if you

  192. woken up at four AM's there's something with four am

  193. waking ups, and that one I've come to believe is

  194. really the Holy spirits, something waking up at four am,

  195. and that's when the law wants to speak, waking out

  196. with dreams from the Lord. See Jesus woke up around

  197. three probably am to pray after a full day of

  198. successful ministry. Give me a license to help us imagine

  199. a bit. Maybe Jesus was disturbed with something. It's bordered.

  200. Maybe he was bordered with something, and what led me

  201. to believe that possibly he was borthered with something was this.

  202. Let's continue on in scripture, all right, So first the

  203. dy five says he went on to pray early in

  204. the morning before sunrise, and then versy six, and Simon

  205. and those who were with him search for Jesus. When

  206. they found him, they said to him, everyone is looking

  207. for you. Popular a mark of a successful minister. Everyone

  208. is looking for you. But Jesus said to them, let

  209. us go into the next towns that I may preach

  210. there also, because I want you to air among this

  211. for these purpose I have come forth. And he was

  212. preaching in their synagoguetra or galilee and casting out demons.

  213. Hold on, you mean to tell me day one successful

  214. rally healing? Really, so many say, the whole town coming

  215. to meet Jesus and ready for day two. Jesus say,

  216. I don't want We're going to the next town. What

  217. everyone is looking for you? Jesus, No, I don't care.

  218. We're going to the next town. But it wasn't that

  219. a successful ministry? Why move on? Think about it for

  220. a second. What happened in between Jesus went to pray, right,

  221. Something must have happened when he was praying that led

  222. him to go Nope, we are not staying here, we

  223. are moving on. So I want to ask us this question, right,

  224. what is again our image of a successful Christian or

  225. successful ministry? Because if we go by our usual perspective

  226. and mia I say myself as a I would say,

  227. Jesus continued, please, people here all need you. Why you

  228. leave them behind? But Jesus went away, you know? And

  229. really I think the X factor here was that Jesus

  230. heard from God, the Father on what to do. He

  231. was not swayed by the demands of people, even though

  232. there were people in need. He was not swayed by

  233. expectations from people who are following him, his disciples. He

  234. was not swayed by the popularity is getting. It didn't

  235. go to his head. Man, I just have to continue

  236. to deliver people here name Then he'll be successful ministry.

  237. Then I'll be a successful Christian. But yet Jesus says this,

  238. we go into other towns for these purpose I have

  239. come forth. What does this mean? Purpose? For what purpose

  240. he has come forth? I really believe that this purpose

  241. ties into listening to what the Father wants us to do.

  242. You see the spectacular things draw the crowd, healing of

  243. the sick, delivering of demons. Wow, spectacular, so many things happening,

  244. seeing God move, It drew the crowd, it drew the

  245. whole town. But Jesus wasn't interested in the spectacular. He

  246. was interested by what the Father wants. If we live

  247. by the spectacular, and Christians, I'm saying this, if we

  248. constantly look at things that are exciting in the Christian world,

  249. everyone must have healing. If no healing, that means God

  250. is not here. If this person doesn't come to church

  251. every Sunday, this person is not going to happen. If

  252. we constantly look at the surface and just look at

  253. exciting things, I'm telling this, we will live in pressure.

  254. Because what if one day you really felt sick and

  255. don't come to church, does that mean you're a failed Christian?

  256. If one day you pray and I hope it's not

  257. one day, I hope every day when you're praying for

  258. healing for people and people are not healed, it's not spectacular.

  259. Does that mean you have failed? So when you have

  260. certain perspectives like this, we have to be very careful

  261. because we are setting ourselves up of pressure. But actually,

  262. what God the Father wants from earth is to listen

  263. to him. We got to go deeper than just coming

  264. to church on Sundays. We got to go deeper than prayer,

  265. surveys or homes. We got to go deeper because our

  266. faith is not made up by Sundays. Only Monday to

  267. Saturdays count a big part of how we live our

  268. life as belief. See, Jesus wasn't concerned with the crowd.

  269. There were needs, yes, he was more concerned with the

  270. reason he was there. God the Father, you put me here.

  271. I'm gonna do what you ask me to do. Okay,

  272. God the Father, you asked me to leave, Now I

  273. will leave. That was what Jesus was doing. So again,

  274. what makes a successful Christian in God's side? I believe

  275. it is this. It's not about how many Sundays your

  276. attend church in a year, all right, but please do

  277. attend church when you can. It's important. It's not about

  278. how many people you lay hands and how many people

  279. got healed. It's not about that. It's about how we

  280. listen to God the Father. That's a true map of

  281. the Christian following God, one step by the time walking.

  282. The Bible says, walking in step with the spirit. That

  283. makes the Holy Spirit take one step. You take one step.

  284. You don't wait for the Holy Spirit walk ten steps.

  285. You say, wait, I'm still diet the Lord. But no

  286. Holy Spirit walks one step. We take one step obedience.

  287. What the Father says, what the Holy Spirit says, follow, follow.

  288. I believe that it's a true mark of a believer,

  289. someone who follows God daily every moment. Luke, Chapter seven,

  290. verse twenty twenty eight. I'm gonna read this real quick,

  291. and now I'll tell you, guys, to which part to

  292. ill mark? Okay. John's two disciples found Jesus and said

  293. to him. John the Baptist said us to us, are

  294. you the Messiah that we've been expecting, or should we

  295. keep looking for someone else. At that very time, Jesus

  296. cured many people of their diseases, illnesses, and evil spirits,

  297. and he resorts sight to many who are blind. And

  298. he told John's disciples go back to John and tell

  299. him what you have seen and heard. The blind see

  300. the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured the death.

  301. Here the day I raised alive, and the good news

  302. is being preached to the poor. And he added, God

  303. blesses those who do not fall away because of me.

  304. After John's disciples left, Jesus begin talking about John the

  305. Baptist to the crowds, I want you to im up this.

  306. What kind of man did you go into the wilderness

  307. to see? Was he a week read swayed by every

  308. breath of wind? Or were you expecting to see a

  309. man dressed in expensive clothes? No, people who wear beautiful

  310. clothes and live in luxury are found in palaces. Were

  311. you looking for a prophet? Yes, and he is more

  312. than a prophet. John is a man whom the scriptures

  313. refer and they say, look, I'm sending my messenger ahead

  314. of you, and he will prepare, prepare your way before you.

  315. I tell you, of all who have ever lived, none

  316. is greater than John. Yet even the least person in

  317. the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is. Let's

  318. turn out attention to the part where it says, what

  319. kind of man do you go into the wilderness to see? John? Again?

  320. Talking by the standards of a Christian, John was a

  321. successful minister because wherever he went people followed. He was

  322. the one that was baptizing people in water. Multitudes go

  323. to him, right, people of all kinds go to him.

  324. Probably carrying different expectations of who this John should be.

  325. That's why Jesus had to ask the question to people

  326. who are listening to Jesus said, who do you go

  327. to the wilderness to see? Who are you expecting? Are

  328. you expecting someone who is like a read? You guys

  329. know what I read is lalan. Okay, read looks very

  330. nice in bunches when the wind blows. But you know

  331. that reed cannot stay stale. Every single gust of win

  332. the reed moves. So Jesus was actually asking these people,

  333. are you expecting John to be someone who sway according

  334. to what you expect him to be, according to what

  335. you want or according to what you want him to be. No,

  336. John is not gonna sway. John's gonna stay true to

  337. his purpose. He's gonna stick true to his convictions. See,

  338. John is doesn't look like a successful minison. You know

  339. why you have the picture up the slight before I

  340. believe can go. He was wearing actually this is not

  341. an accurate depiction neither, but he was wearing animal high

  342. that's clothes. He was eating grasshoppers. And wow, honey, what

  343. you're you're saying this is a successful minister? Yes, you see,

  344. he was not swayed by how many people followed him.

  345. He was not swayed by Wow, okay, so many people.

  346. I'm gonna baptize the people. Do you know John the

  347. Baptist actually was His purpose was to prepare the way

  348. for the Messiah. That's why he sent the two messengers

  349. to Jesus, say are you the one? The one that

  350. is prophesied? If John didn't stick true to his convictions

  351. and to his purpose, and he became a read he

  352. probably he wouldn't even be sensitive that Jesus is the one.

  353. He probably will see Jesus a competition. But John stayed

  354. true to say, I'm here to prepare the way for

  355. the Lord full stom. He is greater than I am.

  356. I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you

  357. with a spirit. John stayed true. He was not affected

  358. by other people, what other people expect of him. How

  359. does this connect to what I mentioned before? You see,

  360. when we start to understand what is a true image

  361. of a believer or as or of a disciple, we'll

  362. start to gainst the the convictions that it's not just

  363. about performance, that it's not just about attendance, but it's

  364. our relationship with the Lord, and from there God will

  365. give you convictions every day. Hey, I want you to

  366. pray for your colleague. Hey, I want you to not

  367. just go to school, but let people know you're a Christian,

  368. pray for them. Hey, you gotta stop cheating in exams.

  369. That was me when I was sixteen, by the way,

  370. happily serving in CF AT, ending CF in CF committee.

  371. And then I teacher adviser just said, some of you

  372. here surf God serf, got self coller but still cheating exam.

  373. That was me. So I have to go call Turkey.

  374. You cheating. Literally, Yeah, I had to say col Turkey

  375. because the whole cheating thing in school was a system.

  376. Everyone in class had to participate, because if you don't know,

  377. the cheating doesn't work. I won't go to detail because

  378. there are students here. I won't give you ideas, but

  379. let's just say I came from a very famous school

  380. that is supposed to have smart students, and smart students

  381. they have street smart, yes, street smart. So I was convicted.

  382. I had to say God, and you know I was

  383. ridiculed for that. People say, you know, Stephen, you you

  384. think you're very smart. REDI in fact, I had very

  385. bad results, so I actually probably was the one that

  386. needed to cheat the most. But anyways, but I stopped

  387. doing it right. But some of us here, God will

  388. start giving you convictions when you hear from the lot

  389. they need to do certain things and not do certain things.

  390. And friends, I'm going to tell you what you do

  391. and don't do in accordance to what the Lord says.

  392. It's going to be very unpopular with people around you.

  393. It's going to be very unpopular. So the question is

  394. will you be like a read that sways or will

  395. you stick to your convictions? Will you be a read

  396. or a rock? During a spere retreat, Elder ping Hole

  397. reminded us of I'm and Peter. Simon means read, someone

  398. who says. But do you know that Jesus renamed him

  399. to Peter, call him Peter, which means rock. And upon

  400. this rock I shall build my church, Jesus said to Peter.

  401. So would you be Simon or would you be Peter?

  402. And to be honest, we are both blah. But we

  403. got to remind ourselves to not just rely what we

  404. sung on the cornerstone. There is a firm foundation for us,

  405. but we also got to be stronger. Don't say it's

  406. okay that I sway left and write Jesus. I'm staying

  407. on Jesus and the firm foundation. MA I telling you

  408. Jesus is coming and he's gonna judge if sometimes you

  409. are weak understandable. I think Jesus, don't. I think. I'm

  410. sure Jesus is forgiving when we repent, But don't take

  411. him for granted. Don't take grace for granted and just

  412. leave life as if it's okay. I would just repent

  413. one second before I die. No such thing. Guys, are

  414. we going to be a read or are we going

  415. to be a rock? You see, the world is looking

  416. for Christians to be full of love and all inclusive.

  417. That's what the world pains the image of Christians to be. Hey, God,

  418. did you love right? You must accept me for who

  419. I am. Accept my version of truth. You can have

  420. your version of truth. I have my own virsion of truth.

  421. Be all inclusive, except that's what Jesus thought to love.

  422. That's what the world is looking for. I'm telling you

  423. and you all here know there's not a true image

  424. of a believer. So the question is would you sway

  425. to what the world wants you to be, because the

  426. honest truth is many are swaying to what the world

  427. wants Christians to be. God wants us to not be

  428. just full of love, grace and all being, all inclusive.

  429. God wants us to stand for truth. And know that

  430. when God wants us to stand for truth, that comes

  431. from a place of love. That is what the Lord

  432. wants us to do. And friends, one day at the time,

  433. day by day is getting harder and harder, you know this,

  434. to stand by truth because truth rubs people the wrong way.

  435. For the past three weeks and I am coming to

  436. an end with this. The past three weeks, I felt

  437. a very deep disturbance, not in the force, but in

  438. my spirit. Okay, some we watched our wars, we get

  439. their reference. Okay, I talk about heavy topics, almost crack

  440. some jokes that they like. Okay, you know, just know

  441. that even when we talk about heavy stuff, that is

  442. always hope because we believe in a good God. Okay, Okay,

  443. so so, but for the past three weeks, I was

  444. experiencing a very deep disturbing on the spirit that I've

  445. never experienced before, the type that I cannot fall asleep

  446. and I wake up feeling despair. It wasn't that something

  447. happened to me, but there was a sudden revelation of

  448. the state of the world we're in that I know

  449. it's from the Lord. I know that deep disturbing is

  450. not something that I should just swep under the cupboard

  451. and ignore and just forget about it. I knew it

  452. was something that God wants me to go through, so

  453. I was. I was in that state for three weeks

  454. of deep trouble in my heart, so much so I

  455. still remember one of the days I was working in

  456. church in the office and I was so disturbed I

  457. felt I was gonna implode. I had to go to

  458. Basamett was there and I said, Pasame, I need to

  459. dialogue with you. I need to let something off my chest,

  460. and I shared, I shad, how how can the world

  461. be in this state? How how are we as believers

  462. are going to continue this race where it's getting harder

  463. and harder day by day. I was questioning myself, Am

  464. I able to stand before people who may be asking

  465. me to renounce my faith and still say Jesus is Lord?

  466. Am I able to go? If it caused my life

  467. to go all the way am I able to speak

  468. truth in the midst of adversity? If the majority before

  469. me I was holding stones in their hands, ready to

  470. show me, am I able to still say Jesus is

  471. Lord and what you're doing is wrong.

  472. I was so troubled and so so scared. I was

  473. so troubled. For three weeks, I wrestled and wrestle and wrestle.

  474. I even had to meet with past, the Kennev and

  475. the past that I'm going through this, I'm really wrestling.

  476. But he has come to my attention that really it

  477. is what the lort meant for me to go through,

  478. because I to address whether my faith was plastic or

  479. is a real thing. Because if I say, oh, Jesus,

  480. I will follow you all the way, all the way,

  481. even if it means losing all your friends all the way,

  482. even if it means your closest even family member. If

  483. you were to say certain things are not in accordance

  484. to God's will and you should not do it. If

  485. I were to say it, and I would lose them,

  486. you mean, I would say, have to do that all

  487. the way, meaning to say that There'll be a day

  488. where I'll be probably standing on a pulpit, preaching to

  489. people who are all against what I believe all the way.

  490. I do wrestle with that, Stephen, do you really love

  491. me all the way? Would you really follow me all

  492. the way? Do you know that the disciples, majority of

  493. the disciples type matters early disciples, or they went all

  494. the way? Sometimes we forget that our faith was built

  495. on the blood of the matters. They had to sacrifice,

  496. they went all the way that today we can be

  497. here in a very comfortable theater hall, enjoying and listening

  498. to the world of God. I had to address that

  499. for myself. What is face? It's my relationship. We've got

  500. really that solid that I won't be a reed and

  501. won't be shaken when the rubber hits the road. I

  502. was wrestling with that, and thank God, I won't say

  503. thank you Jesus for letting me restle this because I've

  504. come to certain realizations that I want to share with you. Friends.

  505. There's no sugarcoating this. We are at the end times

  506. and the enemy is trying his absolute best to distract

  507. you to make you think it's comfortable. We are reaching

  508. a point that there's no longer room for moderation in faith.

  509. We're getting there, guys, everywhere you see, every part of

  510. the world almost we are getting there. Don't think Malaysia

  511. is better. It's coming. What do I mean, no longer

  512. moderation in your faith. There's no such thing as killer.

  513. I accept you, lah So Killa, we love you. I

  514. love you for who you are. Because these very people

  515. that you say, these two are gonna demand and stands

  516. from you. They're gonna say, oh, you say you accept me?

  517. Bible says these all you see you're Christian? Right, Well,

  518. how can you say you accept me? And where will

  519. you stand when a question like this comes? I'm telling

  520. you these are the things that has came to me already.

  521. A line is being drawn clearer and clearer between the

  522. world and God. There is no such thing as standing

  523. in the middle. My fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

  524. We can no longer stand in the middle. We've got

  525. to pick a side. What God is a God of unity? Right,

  526. you're meaning to say there is a division. Revelations teaches

  527. us that there is a division, there will be, and

  528. it's already happening. So, my dear brothers and sisters, I

  529. preached this from a hull of love, and I'm pleading

  530. for you to think and reflect whether we are ready

  531. to pick a side, because if we're not, we're going

  532. to be a read that straight back and forth. And

  533. I feel that maybe we may lose our salvation if

  534. we are not careful. Yes, it is that serious. I

  535. know it's morbid. I know it's heavy. Okay, last morebit,

  536. last part. Okay, I promise Revelation three fifteen to nineteen.

  537. I know all the things you do that you are

  538. neither hot nor cold. I wish that you will one

  539. or the other. But since you are like look warm water,

  540. need a hot nor cold, I will spit you out

  541. of my mouth. You say, I am rich, I have

  542. everything I want familiar comfort. All right, I have everything

  543. I want. I don't need a thing. I don't need

  544. a thing. And you don't realize that you are wretched

  545. and miserable and poor and blind and naked. So I

  546. advise you to buy gold from me, gold that has

  547. been purified by fire. Then you will be rich also

  548. by white garments from me, so you will not be

  549. shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so

  550. you'll be able to see. Verse nineteen. I correct and

  551. discipline everyone I love, So be diligion and turn from

  552. your indifference. Our church today has become indifferent by being

  553. all inclusive. But we stand for truth and friends. We

  554. got to stand for truth and the world of God.

  555. And when we love, we got to pair that with truth. Guys,

  556. But I want to end with hope. Yes, it sounds

  557. more bid, but do you know when you follow true

  558. with God, you only end in victory. Don't be swayed

  559. by the fact that while this world is so comfortable

  560. and we fear eternity, eternity is gonna be a place

  561. where there's no suffering, no strife, no illness, no sickness,

  562. and there's only the fullness of the love of God.

  563. That is if we are in eternity with Him. So

  564. don't be discouraged, but take courage in knowing that hope

  565. is there, and hope is a name. Hope is Jesus.

  566. So we got to hang on to Jesus day by day.

  567. Why do I call it cross the line, Because it's

  568. time to God's side and cross the line, not standing

  569. in the middle, because standing in the middle is indifference.

  570. Standing in the middle is being looked warm that you

  571. see in scripture there's no place for lukewarmness. God will

  572. spit you out. Sounds harsh, but again, what is God

  573. looking for in his children? God is looking for children

  574. that will stick to him, listen to his voice daily,

  575. follow after him, and not sway by the expectations and

  576. demands of the world. And not sway just because one

  577. church is doing this, our church is not doing this,

  578. our church is behind, our church is a failure, and

  579. not sway just because the latest trends say so, we

  580. are not doing it, and not say just because we

  581. are not singing the latest songs. We are singing hymns.

  582. Guys said, mean God is not here. We gotta be

  583. very careful of our image of success and our image

  584. of what is what really God wants for us. And guys,

  585. read your Bible pray every day, kid songs we sing.

  586. Read your Bible pray every day, because if you don't

  587. do this, you may have all the Bible knowledge in

  588. the world, and if you don't have the Holy Spirit,

  589. you won't be able to discern because even the devil

  590. knows the Bible from cover to cover. Knowledge should not

  591. get you saved. Knowledge should not help you in the

  592. time of mass information. It is the Holy Spirit that

  593. will help you discern what is true and what is not,

  594. what is true and what appears true, what is true

  595. and what is of the world? And the enemy is

  596. working over time. So take my friends, cut your hearts, God,

  597. your quiet time, God, your relationship with God. Don't depend

  598. on the faith of others. Don't depend on the faith

  599. of those on the pulpit. Don't depend on the faith

  600. of your leaders or your parents. Where is your faith?

  601. Where is your relationship with God? Are you hearing from

  602. him every day? Are you hearing what he wants you

  603. to do today? I'm telling you I'm hearing from it.

  604. Even certain meetings, I will postpone my meetings or push

  605. it aside, or even asked to be excused so that

  606. I can meet up with someone and push Jesus. So

  607. we've got to be very careful. Oh how we did

  608. them in success. I'm not saying me things are not important.

  609. Important still to move things forward. But you've got to

  610. learn to discern from the Holy Spirit what to do

  611. what not to do. But if not, you'll be swayed

  612. by the success. The way the world views success. God

  613. wants to speak to you, my friends, He's reaching out

  614. to you. But the question is are you reaching out

  615. to him. I'm gonna close. It's okay. If there's no music,

  616. no worry. I'm gonna invite us to stand and we're

  617. going to respond to the Lord. Sorry I went over time,

  618. but we're just gonna take a shot. Wow, a few minutes,

  619. the Holy Spirit is speaking. And then don't just take

  620. it from me. I'm convicted and convinced that whatever I

  621. just shared this really from the Holy Spirit. I felt

  622. him speaking tru me. But don't just div that. Like

  623. I said, you gotta have your old faith, meaning to say,

  624. you gotta dig in, you gotta dig deeper, and you

  625. got to go like God. It's what I just heard true?

  626. Is this from you Lord? If it is, speak to

  627. me and there are many of you here, I know this.

  628. I know this because the Spirit has impressed on my

  629. heart that many of you here. Many many times your

  630. heart and your spirit was disturbed, maybe to a certain degree,

  631. like how I felt the past three weeks. But many

  632. times you thought, no, we cannot feel this way. Chris.

  633. You're supposed to be joyful. Christians were supposed to be

  634. always full of hope, and we will just slip these

  635. feelings of discomfort, these nudgings under the cupboard, and go

  636. on and forget about it. But I want to encourage

  637. as friends, when you feel a disturbance in your heart

  638. and your spirit, I want to ask you to dig deep,

  639. because the Lord wants to speak to you. The Lord

  640. wants to wants to challenge you and ask certain key

  641. questions that will help you to understand what he wants.

  642. The Lord wants to really put you through. Just now,

  643. the Bible says in Revelation, I advise you to buy

  644. gold from me, gold that has been purified by fire.

  645. Purification is painful, purification is hot, it's uncomfortable, but it

  646. is true purification that we will find the most pure

  647. of purers of materials. So if you want to have

  648. pure faith, you got to go through that discomfort. You

  649. got to address and acknowledge the part of your heart

  650. that goes like I don't feel right. Oh, I just

  651. watch this sermon, I just watched this teaching, I just

  652. heard this podcast. But I don't feel right. Oh, things

  653. are happening in the world. I don't feel right. Friends,

  654. don't push those things aside, because chances are there's a

  655. holy spirit nudging you to dig deeper to find the

  656. truth of God. Times are modern. Times of moderation is over,

  657. my friends. Are you picking God's sign? Are you saying God?

  658. Whatever you say, I will listen. Now do all eyes closed.

  659. I want all of us here to pray on your own,

  660. your own prayer to the Lord. If this and I

  661. pray this would have struck something in your heart. I

  662. pray that this disturbs you. I pray that this makes

  663. you uncomfortable, because it's only true that we will seek

  664. for truth. And I want you to address that discomfort

  665. in this moment. And I want you to bring that

  666. discomfort to Jesus. Jesus, I'm feel in this sense maybe

  667. even a little bit of dread. Bring it before the

  668. Lord and say, God help me. We hope you've been

  669. blessed by this message. For more information on our church,
