XPJ started on the ninth of September twenty twelve. You know. Uh,

and we are now thirteen years and two months old. Okay,

thirteen years and two months old. That's a year I

think in igcs is in government is from one. So

become teenager in IG is year seven? Am I right? Right? Yeah?

So you nodding here, but I'm not sure. Yeah, yeah, seven,

So you just started becoming a teenager. You know, that's

where all the hormones come, all the pimpils come out,

That's where all the funny fuzzy feelings emotions come out.

You know, when the kids were still ten, they will

go yeah, girls, they're so ikey, you know, once they

reached the team, then suddenly they start noticing girls. You know,

that's the boys. I mean, I think girls know these

boys since young already. Right. I remember when I was

very young kindergarten. Uh, there was this girl that that

pull pulled me everywhere and the time I was like

five years old, and I really didn't understand this, okay, right,

when you're young, like Mattia's, ah, you don't answer a

lot of things on but somehow girls mature faster. So

apparently we were together, laugh, and she pulled me everywhere,

and she has everybody that you know. I'm the boyfriend.

I remember very clearly, you know. And uh, And it

happened for a year and he was in kindergarten and

then I never met the but I remember, I remember

her name. I'm not going to say here it's not Jessica, don'torry, Okay, yeah,

you know so XPJ. We are a twin now, okay.

And I don't know whether you remember how many of

you came for our retreat last year twenty twenty four.

We had a retreat in July, I think twentieth July.

How many of you were there? Can you wave your

hand if you were there, you're there. If you're not there,

it's fine, okay, it's okay, you missed out, don't Yeah,

next year we are planning a retreat. Okay, So if

you didn't come for last year's one, this year we

didn't have. Next year, we're going to do one in April, right, doctor, Jason.

I'm looking at himcause he offered to to be the

camp commander. Right, so it's gonna happen in April. I

also know that in April that's campus conference. I mean

we are planning, okay, don't know whether we need to

get approval and all the can't stuff, but we are

planning April. But there are different camps happening yes, next

year as well. I'm telling you this now so that

you're gonna start planning. Okay, plan your finance. I know

you'll like to plan your holidays early. Right, go to

of the guts, right. I know you like plan that,

but I want to tell you can you plan for

church stuff? Can can you plan for church stuff? You know?

I think for the years and years ecchers, we don't

charge for anything one now everything is free one. So

now we want to not to say we want to

start charging now. I mean it's getting more expensive. I'm

sure you guys know that. And we also dont want

to overburtern the church, so there will be a certain costs.

But I also want to encourage you because we believe

in a God that provides, and we know that he does,

you know, and we also know that you know, every

time when we have situations like this, it is also

opportunity for testimony, you know. But I want to encourage

all you guys by letting you know that the church

is well. When I say the church, I'm not talking

about church office. But we are here, right there are

those that are of us who are we may have more, okay,

that we can bless others. And for those of us

who don't have enough, it's fine, maybe can't afford certain things,

you know, but when we come to some of these things, right,

I just want to say, just not just pray, but

also tell your home leader about ela you cannot. Right

then we kind of look out for each other. I

July twenty twenty four. It was quite significant because we've

come quite and the time we were twelve years old,

eleven years old, okay, And it was quite significant because

we just came out of I mean, our entire stare

just came out of this whole exercise where we multiplied,

you know, or the word is decentralized, you know, the

way we work, you know, we establish different things like

the local spo. And we was also a time where

our church went through a major transition, you know, different

ones who maybe used to being our church for a

long time and decided to move on, you know, and

we were going through that. You know, PJ was also affected.

And I remember past sharing this message about uh, this

message uh, and he gave a really powerful prophetic visual

about the pouring of cement. Do you guys remember that? Right?

Unfortunately I think that, but somehow XTV didn't record, you

know always so's know, when there's good stuff suddenly got

goes in the system month, right, So but I remember

clearly because I run now knows and he's talking about

how you know, when you pour cemen it takes a while, right,

And I know this because this is right before my

house went through renovations. You know, I was just asking

my wife yesterday, hey, when do we start our renovation? Now?

You know he was in September, you know, uh, and

we also had a pouring of cemen. You know, they

had to hag the flaw, put in the new piping,

and then they poured the cemen. And he took I

think two three days to to dry. You know, it

was outside right and passed the shad. This visual about XPJ,

how we were building and building and building through the

many US building building, building, and then we were pouring

the seamen, but it was not fully dry it right,

you're building a foundation. It was not fully dry yet,

and you go and sleep, and then next day you come.

You look at the seamen and they have footprints. Right,

there's footprints on the seamen. You poured it already, and

you were supposed to be perfect. It was supposed to

be smooth. It was supposed to provide a foundation to

put things on, build things on, but then someone stepped

on it. Very frustrating, right, Okay, I can think of

any other examples or not. You know, you wash a

white shirt and it looks really good, and then someone

that has hands just because they just ate cry, they're

going to touch your back. You can, of course wash

you shit again now, but you feel it now, right,

And I real pastor encouraging us to say that, yes,

although you have to probably smoothen the seamen again, maybe

pour another layer because it's not fully dry and you've

got to wait again for it to dry. But it's

not as much effort as before because the cement was poored. Okay,

but they still work and you thought the work is done,

but it's not done yet. And it can come to

a place where you get discouraged because you like you

thought you ready, you know, you like work ten hours ready,

and then the last hour something happened and you have

to pour it another two more hours into the effort.

You feel like giving up, right, you feel like you

know what, it's okay, it's not worth it, la right,

you guys remember that for those that don't remember, you know,

and I really received that word because because it's thirteen

years last of my life, law, it's thirty years of

my life here, my life, my wife, no choice, she

has follow me, l right to be honest. Let's be honest, okay, Okay,

that's why I believe me. She in a way not

my choice to follow me. She can for she has

to follow me, but she can decide to make my

life difficult or make my life is zila, that's her call, okay.

By thirteen years of my life in this church plan,

a lot ups, a lot downs, you know, it's the

thing years here right as I reflect on it, it's

actually thirteen years and one month here in this hall

that we meet every week, because we met there on

studio two and we started I think three Weekendsony, I

cannot remember. I don't know. I just remember three weekends

on me and then we shifted here ready to this place.

Thirteen and a half years. We survive three different management

in this place, three different managements. We survive. I say

we survive because the like all the chairs that you

see here, the ap permanent fixtures, and all the lights

and all the sound and all the other constant in

PJLA s XPG, because even the people managing this place

change a few times a day. And I'm not talking

about one. You're talking about the entire company, not want

to say here. I'm talking about the management company, the

original management company that actually opened this place up for us,

change and then changed again, and then pandemic happened, right,

And we survived pandemic. And then at that time Sally

got no management. Right, That's what happened, you know. Just

I'm being aware, Okay, this is the truth. I'm not

creating anything this, but we are still here. We survived

the panemic, we survived different things. We survive but we'll

say here because of God's faithfulness, because of his favor.

Uh and yeah, I like this space, so it's cool place.

You know, it's very interesting that Evan said that I

got a lot of crazy ideas. Actually, I don't know.

Do I have that current reputation. I hope not. You

kind of don't really know what people talk about you.

I hope it's good things. But it's very interesting that

your church plant coordinator, who has a passion for the

performing us in theater and it's involved in video, has

a church plan in theater. God has a sense of humor.

I'm saying, God, are not Mia Did I intend it

to be here? I never even knew this space existed

before XB. You know, God has a sense of humor

and God is still in control. Okay, I see what

we're you talking about all this? Are you gonna give

you us a big announcement? Yeah? Sort of. But I'm

just reflecting. You know, sometimes we well I wouldn't say sometimes,

but I wull encouraged all of us here to reflect

on your life if you can, you know, you should

reflect on where you've come, reflect on what has happened,

reflect on how good God has been because if we

don't make it a habit to reflect, then we might

either take things for granted or we might not appreciate

what we have. Right. But when we reflect, as I reflect,

I really thank God for all the times that he

has come true for our church, you know, and he

has come from for me personally, because I say, it's

the teenness of my life. It's wanted. We're not really wanted,

wanted last sort of wanted in a way of my life. Okay,

because let's be honest, and I'm brutally honest. Right for

a lot of you here, you can just go to

another base, you get what I mean. But if past

Elvin decide to suddenly go to another base, all help

break loose, right, you know? I mean, yes, and Nola, Okay,

what I'm trying to say is that the level of

commitment is not as high. You know. But when you

are the leader the church cornator is different. When you

are the assistantiach truck coaractor is different. Joe also has

been here since the beginning, right and the time. I

don't know how, I know, we don't know each other.

I remember there's this girl named Joe. Okela got safe

in acts got passion to play together, work together. That's

how we became friends. Right, Amen, Let's turn to Exodus

chapter fourteen. I'm actually gonna take a little bit of

what pass I can have shared with us in the

retreat because I believe that you will blessed you all

today as we reflect about the past. And again, some

of the things that I shared earlier you might not

be able to relate to because you're new. It's fine, okay.

I want to let you know that it's good for

you to know because if you call yourself a person,

if you call this church plan your home, if you

call extras your home, you need to think about the

legacy that you have, because the legacy that you have

today was also built by the past. Your casha are

not Let me let me dwell on this a little bit,

because I think sometimes people don't really understand this. The

only reason why a lot of us here can enjoy,

can enjoy enjoy what we have today in the church,

in this church specific, is because of the sacrifices of

the past. Your cash, that's that's the only way, the

only way you can enjoy your homes and the fellowship

and the structure and the spirit and all these things

is due to what or all the mistakes you've done

in the past, all the problems you've done in the past,

all the tweaks we had in the past. Right, there's life. Okay,

I'm not complaining. I'm just giving some perspective. Right. The

only way a lot of us today can enjoy our

life today is due to our parents' sacrifice. Right. And

it's always my thing, like, yeah, but my dad didn't

do anything for me, my momy I mean yeah, you know, way,

maybe they didn't do as much, or they were not

as smart as some of our other friends who are

maybe more ritual or whatever, but they did something. They

did contribute, they did invest, they did you don't put

things to the plow. For those of you here who

have built stuff before, you understand that because it takes

effort to build something. And if we build something from

the beginning, it's more precious. But you see, if you

don't build it from the beginning, it means nothing on right.

So when you build something and you put your hands

to the plow, you with the care everyone you know,

that's reality, right, So why is it important for those

of us who are new to know this to know

the history to know where you come from, because then

you can hopefully find some value in it that there

was someone's life sacrifice. You know, do you know that

our faith is like that? Do you know that the

Christian faith was built on the lives of matters? You know,

it doesn't come easy. You know where we are today,

the books written, the things we read here, was built

on all these things. We come from a legacy of sacrifice.

We come from a legacy. There's precious so don't squander it.

Don't treat it likely. You know, the Bible was painstakingly

put together through thousands a thousand years. Don't treat it

like it's nothing. You know, there's something for us to

think about. Exodus chapter fourteen. Let's let's go Exodus chapter fourteen.

I hope that you will be blessed today. Okay, let's

let's go and read the story. So it's about the

Ridca crossing. So we know that the Israelites were. Of course,

they ended up in Egypt because of Joseph, because he

saved them, you know, the past, the dreamer right, save

them because there was a femine in the land. Then

they stayed in Egypt, and then they were blessed, and

they stay in the land of Goshen, right, And of

course when you know someone in human nature, when someone

does better than you, you get jealousta. So typically when they

israelizes it better. The Egyptians were not very happy. Most

of it was their land and all right, okay, it's

very human nature, right, and they were blessed, but then

they were then they were enslaved by the Egyptians. They

were enslaved by the ditions. Well, I don't know whether

they maybe they forgot their God. I think I think

it's written somewhere they forgot your God and then they

were enslaved by the Egyptians. They had it good to

the point that they were and they forgot God. Where

God is they forgot? Okay, So friends, if God bless you,

please don't forget him. Please don't forget God. Because it's

a common trait if you read the Bible, that people

have a tendency to forget God wants. They have it good,

and then they get in trouble. Not because God punished them, no,

because they get themselves in trouble, right, And they were

screaming and and and asking for savior, save us, send

us to save. And God chose these men called Moses

from the back side of the desert. That's what the

Bible says, not in the front of the desert. Chose Moses,

who had a legacy and heriitation on. Moses was a

prince in the cause, he had a he had a

miracle testimony, he was safe when they were all supposed

to kill, you know, the sorry of Moses. Right, So

he had a legacy, but he was a broken man.

He started, my name is Moses. He started. He talked

to sheep in the backyard of the desert. And God

chose this guy saw no confidence something I feel I

can relate to him. No confidence to the point that

he needed Aaron to be there, his brother to be there,

to speak on his behalf. Couse, he got no confidence.

That's Moses. So God chose this guy to save. And

then we have the plagues, one of the greatest ever

wonderful thing, No, not wonder one, not wonderful, okay, but

greatest wonders that happened in the Bible, right. And then

Pharaoh release the people to do what to worship in

the desert. Of course, they know they're not going to

come coming back with Dela right, and the last thing

that happened where the firstborn died in the past over

they even said, get go, get good riddance. Let here

take all our stuff, go go. Don't you hear anymore?

And then what happened Now? The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

speak to the children of Israel, that they turned and

came before be her hereof between Migdall and the sea opposite.

But our zepn you shall cam before it by the sea.

For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, they

are bewildered by the land. The wilderness have closed them in.

Then I will harden Pharaoh's heart so that he will

pursue them, and I will gain honor over Pharaoh and

over all his army, that the Egyptians may know that

I am the Lord. And they did so. Very interesting

that God tells Moses all these things. How many of

you like to know the ending of a story, even

before it happened. Some will know, some don't. Like you,

you kind of want to know the ending of your

You know, when you're praying for something you want, you

kind of want to know what happened, right, And most

of the time we don't know, right, But God really

revealed to Moses what's happening, you know. He really reveals

to Moses that, Hey, this is gonna happen. Pharah going

to change his mind. I will hurt in his heart.

He will come chase you. But don't worry. I will

take care of it right now. It was told the

king of Egypt that the people had fled, and the

heart of Pharaoh and his servants were turned against the people,

and they said, why have we done this? That we

have let Israel go from serving us? Wow, suddenly changed mine.

Very interesting because you read before that, didn't Pharaoh himself

agreed and said go and worship, and the people said,

good riddings, go, we don't want to see you anymore.

How come from that, suddenly can come to the place

of like suddenly realized alahmah, all of our servants will

let go, you know. And even the people around him said, hey,

they flat really Lah, they flat ready they ran away.

It's very interesting, right, friends, Can I share this with

you if there was anything that was promised to you

in your life by a man or woman, Okay, and

made ready his chariot and took his people with him.

Also he took six hundred choice chariots, and all the

chariots of Egypt, with captains over every one of them.

And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, the king

of Egypt, and he pursued the children of Israel. And

the children of Israel went out with boness. So the

Egyptians pursued them all the horses and chairs of Pharaoh,

his horsband, and his army, and overtook them camping by

the sea side Pi Hahirov. And before but I was

that phone. And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of

Israel lifted their eyes and behold the Egyptians much after them.

So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel

cried out to the Lord. It's very interesting that when

you read verse Let's see verse oh, verse eight. Verse

eight says, and the Lord hadden heart and pursued, and

the children of Israel went out with boldness. How come

verse eight say baldness? But verse sain said they were

very afraid two verses away. What happened now from baldness

to very afraid? Interesting? Right, two versus only? Let's read on.

Then they said to Moses, because there were no grapes

in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in

the wilderness? Why have you dealt with us to bring

us out of Egypt? Hello? Remember I just shad you guys,

what has happened in the past. They were screaming up

because they were enslaved. There was miracles that happened. They

saw the miracles. They go out, Sonny, Now got this problem?

They complained, you brought us out there to die, say Moses,

didn't they weren't they the ones that asked for help?

Think about it. It's very interesting. Some nights we pray, Lord,

please provide, please come true for us, and then God

come true, but not the way you want? God, How

can you do this to me? Why do I say

that because I also go through it? Right? Oh God, well,

you know, come and give that simony. Know, I've seen

so many times how people come up here on stage

give testimony about how God provide for their work so

confidently because everything perfect. And then a few months later

in homes we had to share human you start hearing

them complain about your boss. Very interesting, right, the hearts

of people? Very interesting? So what happened? Let's read on?

Because there were no grapes in Egypt? Have you taken

us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you

deal blame mos us not? They totally didn't take any

responsible at all. Why you put us in this situation?

Passe Alvin? Why you forced us to do this? We

had it Goodselvin? Why why you want to home so multiply?

It was so good? And you're using my name? I

know none of you think that way. Is this not

the word that we told you in issure saying let

us alone that we may serve the Egyptians, for it

would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians

than that we should die in the wilderness. Wow, do

you guys just read that? Did they actually say that

isn't that an outlight rye? Sorry, outright lie first say

save us? Now say why he didn't use what you

save us? Or so fickle man? I think if you're

leading them, you'll say, okay, you're not God, let them

You know, a few times us got angry, right, so

come they forgetle just because they were looking at the army?

They forgot So what are you looking at today? The

title of my message today is what do you see?

What do you see, my friends, when you look at

Pharaoh and his army? What do you see when problems

come your way? What do you see? What do you

see when you see other people give testimony? What do

you see? Let's have a hard check. The people saw

on negativity, very negative, negative, negative. First thing they say

right the way, they say, okay, so one they were

very afraid. They were not just afraid, they were very afraid.

Then they say to Moses, because there were no grace

in Egypt, what can become sarcastic? Some more? Because there

were no grace in Egypt, have you taken usier to

die in the wilderness. Super negative man, super negative and sarcastic.

You know, someone very say, scat is one thing, you know,

but sket and sarcasm is like, man, there's a whole

new level man, right, whole new level negative thoughts. I

know some of us are pessimistic most of the time, okay,

but the Bible does say that our hearts are deceiving,

and we've got to be very careful with what voice

we hear in our head because if we are constantly negative,

even if there are positive things, we will totally disregard it.

Your catch that if you're constantly see it's okay. I

feel it's okay to be pessimistic. Or maybe the word

we like to use is realistic. I think it's okay.

But if we worship the passive miss, if we worship

the negativity, if we worship I mean by worship what's

on your front and center, what's in your head all

the time? Nature tendencies are fine one, No, friends, it's fine. One, okay,

you need both. You need someone to say yeah, it

can be done, and then you need someone and say, hello,

let's let's do some check firsts. It's okay one, But

if the person saying no to everything. And you've met

people like this before. Everything so cannot how la if

for example, leaders, you remember we had a big banner

saying always positive, always positive, you know, just believe right, well,

truth in being positive about the situation because God says

isn't there a positive no matter how big things get.

It's in the word of God that he will give

you a hope in the future. That means whatever you're

going through right now, it's just temporary you need right,

And some of us will joke and say, yea is temporary.

Once I die therefter do with this right? Well, in

a way that's true as all right. Hat checking. I'm

talking about hat checking, not just that. The people of

Israel they asked, why why have you dealt with us

to bring us out into why why do you do this?

Why do you do this? Well, I think Mozaba, like,

because you asked to do this, you want to save it, right,

you know? And in life, in our life and lights,

we keep asking why? Why? Lord? Why why didn't Why

wasn't I the guy that she chose? Why did this happen?

Why was I born in this family? Why was I

born in Malaysia? Why can't I be born in another country?

Why was I born poor? Why was bond with no

no opportunity? Why was I born to this family? A

lot of wise? Why my face like that? I hope

none of you will think that way? And see now

your face that can go plastics read or were a mask? Friends?

If you want to ask why, why? Why tell me why? Right?

Actually we are not meant to be hooked up on

the whiler because honestly, something's only got canceled when you

go why me? I remember past kind of shed this

story where God ministered to him. And again we know

him now, but we don't know his past. His past.

You can read his book. His past is very flowery

for those of us who know his mom didn't want him.

I look at him his life and I'm like, why,

I think of my own life, his own mother don't

want him? Know past to the father, say own blood

mother didn't want him? Right, grew up, grew up with

so much challenges, and yet God, you've seen we all

asked why do you know that God will be asking

why not? You know, one of the biggest whys I

asked for my life was, Lord, why is my firstborn

son in the spectrum? I remember this conversation hy clearly,

Why Lord, why find a rich person? I really serve

you for fifteen years, I full time? Really, why you

give me this problem? Find someone else? I can manage it, God,

I cannot manage it so much frustration, frustration? Right? Why?

And yet God asked why not? That was in twenty eighteen.

I think, no, No, twenty fifteen, Yeah, twenty fifteen, my

whole struggle for a year. Then, if I'm not misakend,

I think either twenty sixteen or twenty seventeen. I shared

with Church and he said, you know what, I'm not

gonna It was very, very convicted to share the journey

with the church, and he was better ready. But friends,

did I know in my heart of fast, did I

know that I will be put in a situation or

opposition where I'm actually helping other families? Now just last week,

out that he got for the experience doing Specialists Toy

Library in KK, the first ever spassionists toy library in Malaysia.

He was the one involved and the Lord somehow led

him to us. That is, to me, is amazing. You

asked me. I also don't know. God asked why not right?

And I tell you the amount of families and parents

I talked to My wife will be angry at me

for saying this. But the mom mom said, dads, I

make cry. I mean a lot of the cried. You know.

There was one idtually sorry for there was one I

was sitting down. One of our partners had a what's

the word. One of her partners had like a healthfare.

You know, she's a pharmacy shaid, But I think she

and her husband used to come to the pgs. So

Rachel and Jason, so they are attending x KK. Now,

so she she invited us to open a book. So

open a boofla. And I sat down there like okay,

like everybody else selling stuff, nobody want to talk especial needs.

And then Sonny, a lady came, you know, uh, she

was wearing wearing his job. She came. She came and

said to find out more, just talk about you know.

And then of course I asked, like, why are you interested?

She was rare friend. She said, oh, you know, I

have a child. You know he is too. Me and

my husbands are both doctors. We do feel and observe

that he might be inspectrum, but we're not sure. And

then we did this, we did this, we did that,

we did that. I just won't find out more. So

I just listened to her. And then when she stopped talking,

I said, you're doing well. Keep it up. He'll be okay.

And she cried because no one has told her that before.

But I'm not just making her feel good. As I

hear what she does, I do agree that that's the

right step. You get me, So I'm not just making

him feel good for no reason. No, right, So we

will ask why, why God, you put me in this situation?

And God will always say why not? Why not you?

Why not you? Why do not you go through this?

Why don't you go through that? Because I will take

you and I will mow you, and I will make

it beautiful. That's what God sees. We see the problem.

I can totally feel this. God. I always see the problem.

But God will see something beautiful. I am so encouraged.

We've got guys and again, now we're not like big

time or anything. The society is not big time, I

think that, but the lines that we've impacted. Wow, I

am just in awe that God allowed us to reach

out to these people, and I'm thankful. So the Israelites

ask mos Us, why why you bring us up from Egypt?

Next point we told you are we told you? Is

this not the word that we told you in Egypt?

Saying let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians?

We told you ready are? Then frustration builds up, right, friends,

how many of you are in this situation where your

friend wants to do something not so smart and you

know it's going to fail, and you you some like

told them, but they didn't listen, and then they go

and do it anyway, and then they fail horribly, and

then they come back to you, and you're so tempted

to say I told you so. You're so tempted by

you don't want to maybe the first word no, the

second word you say, I told you so? All right?

We told you already, Ma, Why are you still going

to do? Why are you still so bodo? Thinkla think?

Why you believe so much? Believe less? Why go your

show often go less? We told you already not gonna work.

Just give up, Lord, help me deal with this frustration.

Help us someweys have frustrated ourselves. We try and try

and try and try and try, but we're frustrated. Fourth point,

comparison is one of the biggest things. Ever. Let me

ask you a question. How many of you like to

be compared? You know that when you are younger, your

parents will compare. You know, my elder son is smarter

than my younger son. Have you heard that before? Woll

of course, if you are the one compared to be

better than, you're happy lant right, No, you're not happy. Pressure.

How many of you like to be compared? None of

us like to be compared. If none of you like

to be compared, then why a you're going to compare?

You to be built? Right? Why? This is something I've learned, right?

I think? I think unfortunately late also learn learn too late? Right?

We are all unique and special in your own right,

I think I'm sure this before as well. And rather

than comparing, why can't we compliment each other? Because God

made us special for a reason. You know, if everybody

can play drums, are then the drama not special anymore? Right?

If everybody can play it, No, we need someone who

can play drums well singing? You know, then you compliment,

then you do work each other. But if you just comply, compare,

compare all the time, then you're not gonna work together. Friends.

Whatever I have, you don't have. Whatever you have, I

don't have. You have something special that God has given you.

I have something that God has given me. Right. Some

of you here are awesome, encourageous. You are the best

encourager ever. Do you know how hard is it for

me to encoiree someone? Not because I cannot know. It's

just that my encagement doesn't sound like encagement, so the

way I talk. Okay, Right. The other thing is that

when you start comparing, you will be more miserable. Corner, right,

will be miserable when we compare. Just recently I started comparing.

I thought I learned this, but I started comparing again, right,

comparing my own life comparing other people. So miserable. Right,

And let's be real, Okay. One of the biggest comparisons

is material alflat especially for someone my age. No, think

about it. I'm forty three years old, right, I have

other friends for forty three years old, you know when

you're younger. Right, nothing to compare on because all about

the same. But as a forty three year old person

who has worked in a non profit organization all my

life and have friends who are doing very well out

in the marketplace. It's a little bit hard not to compare.

You know. Again, I don't make anybody feel bad, but

I just want to tell you what's happening in my

own heart, so much so that you're like, God, did

I make the right decision doing this? Because I see

other people make their money already? Then now sof God,

can MA make money for sense of God? Ma? I

want to ballet you know, I gave God my youth.

Is it worth it that? That's the question I have

to deal with? Okay? But you want to know the

interesting thing? Every time you have situations like this, right,

somehow God will speak to you one and then recently

or so it had some struggle with finance. And then

when you open the app, you know, in the morning,

wake up. Then got the Bible app? Right, I'll make

that happy. I'll just see you. What's the first verse? Right?

Just so happen. Don't lay up your treasures on earth,

lay up your treasures in heaven. I'm like God, will

your law? You're coming to do this with? Will your law?

Just five things to check our heart? Right? Let me

continue reading, and I will come to a close. And

Moses said to the people, do not be afraid. Stand

still and see the salvation of the Lord, which he

will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you

see today, you shall see again no more forever. The

Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. Well,

that's so powerful, right, God will fight for me, and

I will hold my peace. Right. My peace was shaken,

But God will fight for me, and I hold my peace.

God will fight for you, and it will hold your peace. Right.

He has called you for your purpose, So you play

a purpose, rel I'll play my purpose. Well, we shouldn't compare,

We shouldn't say, oh, you know, but God will be

there for us. But what's important? Right? So God will

fight for you and your holy peace. And verse fifteen

says and the Lord said to Moses, why do you

cry to me? Hahuha Tell the children of Israel to

go forward. See God already said earlier that he will

deliver them. No, and then all the drama happened. And

then they still go to godhaa and said, hello, I

really told you, why are you crying? Move on? I

really said, really, my word's not going to change. You

already have one of the promises that I that is

keeping me going right with this life, that I chose

very clearly. I mean, God chose, but I chose. So

was that God told me that he will take care

of my family. So that is my constant encouragement. So

I don't need to to men, I don't need to

look to people's mercy. God will be the one that

takes you on my family. Even before the family. He

gave me the promise, you know, so then he will

fight for me. How will he fight for you? He

will fight for you. And then it says, but lift

up your rod, stretch out your hand over the sea

and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go

on dry ground through the midst of the sea, and indeed,

well harden the hearts of the Egyptians. They shall follow them,

for I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all

his army, his cherishs and horsemen. Then the Egyptians shall

know that I am the Lord, and I've gained honor

for myself over Pharaoh and his cherished and his horsemen.

You know, how come the people from Bowl became afraid? Well,

powerful in our lives, is very powerful. Perspective can make

people do different things. It started with people seeing the

wrong thing right, but it will end well if they

see the right thing. Now, God said to Moses, stop crying,

tell the people to move forward, because he has already

said it. He has already said what he needed to say.

And if you read on in the end, verse thirty

one says, or let me read the thing. So the

Lord saved Israel, that they out of the hand of

the Egyptians. And Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the

sea shore. Thus Israel saw the great work which the

Lord had done in Egypt. So the people feared the

Lord and believed the Lord and his servant Moses. Why

did it had to happen so that they can see

that God will move for them. So, friends, my encouragement

this morning for you is what are you seeing? Let

me share one more thing that I really shared with

the LSBO, but I'll just share with you by any

questions after this, let me know. So two weeks ago,

I got a text. Two weeks ago, I got a

text from st Night the management right to meet up.

And of course I didn't ask why. I'm okay, let's

meet and find out. And I met up with a

person in charge and the person told me that, hey,

you know, I tried to. I wanted to meet you

to tell you this that will affect you guys, and

see us strengthing here, right. And basically by mid November,

there will be a new tenant taking over this place, right,

new tenant Okay. That means they will rent this place

from taijuanna okay. Uh? And uh meet November okay. And

then of course the she told me, but don't worry.

Don't worry for now we have really told them and

gotten a verbal agreement to let you use this place

until end of the year, okay. Uh. And uh, you know,

and of course, like you know, retain the renter and

all the kind of stuff that right, So that's happening, friends,

like let me announce you Okay, that's happening. Okay, so

until end of the dare at least next year. I

don't know, Okay, I know as much as you guys.

Nothing uh and uh and and there was two weeks ago,

and then of course I told the l SPO. Uh

And then of course a lot of questions uh and

and yeah, you know, and you know, do we continue?

Do we meet the new management stuff here? And I've

really done my due diligence ready and I haven't met

them yet. By really connection, I've not met them yet

a remake connection. Uh. And yeah, you know, who knows.

We might still continue, we might not continue. But basically

we are in the place of a crossroad, okay for

us as a church, right And at the end of

the day, if I look at this place, it was

a good place, Like I mean, it is a good place.

Is it synonymous with XPGA nolah? Because the church is you,

guys man, wherever you guys go there or church will

be so you get me. BJLA can be someone else

when we have homes in their homes that is where

XPA is friends. Right. But of course when you have

news I this, you feel SAtma, Now what do you see?

And again, because the thing is doing ministry people, you

kind of know that one of the greatest challenges with

people is habit and comfort low and I tell you

I'm also very comfortable here, you know, very comfortable. Huh shifawah.

We're my falla. You like the place man right, And

I kind of wish lead that I was talking about

because after that I got a lot of questions. But friends,

I want to encourage you. There are two ways you

can see this situation that we're in right now as

the church. One way is oh no, doming gloom. Oh no,

it's not gonna be as nice, it's not gonnay. You know,

you can see it that way. Or I choose to

see this way. God, I know you're still with us.

What is the exciting adventure you're going to bring us

to now? Because maybe I don't know fifty to fifty

are maybe this chapter is closing. Maybe, but even if

it does bring us to another bigger chapter. That's my prayer.

And you want to know the exciting thing for me

about this situation. And again it's not we don't go

in cherry passa. I'll go and do this kind thing.

You know. One of the exciting things for me about

this situation is that if we ever find a place

to be at friends, it's not just going to be

my testimony, It's going to be our testimony. That to

me is exciting because now the church get to experience

finding a home you know where that makes sense or not.

That means you guys are going to be part of

the testimony. And I give you, I give you one

last one that there are three things we think about

when we look for a new place. Pass the Todders

place before. That's how we got this place, and that's

that's how we got different places. And if you talk

to XBO, that's how they got their previous place and

their new place. Future favor faith Do you see a

future that it's the favor? Never war in faith? God,

say right, we see a future there is favor from

the Lord, from the menation from whatever. Right Faber is

something very clear and you can see one wa nobody

will do this for you, but they're doing it for you, right,

And then we just got the war in faith and

say okay, God, next time, right? So I share this

with you because I reflect again like I said, and

where we were. I reflect again at our first ever

retreat as a church plan, I don't think it's coincidence.

Can I give you this last thoughts to talk about

pouring the cement? That was two years ago last year, sorry,

and it was still shaky the foundation. But one thing

that I am very confident about for our church, PJ,

is that I think our cement has dried out ready,

means the foundation is means if there was anything or

any project to take on with our church. I'm very

confident as the church punk coordinator because I know our

people are strong. Do you catch that? Because I know

that you guys are not gonna be easily shaken. You

guys are not going to be easily listen to people

and you know sure, no, you guys are be steady.

In fact, if you do hear news, you're gonna say, no,

we're good. We can make this happen. Let's do it together.

Let's find place together. So can I ask for something

for your Can I ask two things as we are

in this journey together. First thing is please pray pray

for wisdom for me and the leadership, and pray for

favor that God will lead us the right path. See again,

it can still be here on but we need the favor. Okay.

So if we realize that place, play that pray and

first that we stay here. Okay, but let's also look

out right. So if you and this is the job

for me, If you know, rich uncle, there's a space

that's empty, there's nobody using that. You think we can

see a future there? Let me know, can rich uncle?

This jogger has gotten us a lot of things in thepacity. Amen. Friends,

as we moved as a church in this journey, I

hope that you're also encouraged to think about your own life.

Because the one thing that I also realized right that

when you call this place your home, that whatever the

church goes through, right, you also benefit on your catch

that whatever the church mosa, the people will benefit. The

people of Israel right benefited from the testimonies. They were blessed,

they multiplied. Yes, a lot of complaints, a lot of

you know, funny things happened, right, a lot of fickle people.

But I'm sure out of many, there were a few

that believed. I'm sure you know that's a reason why

God still calls them. He's chosen people know, because He

still blessed them one. No, and as you, as long

as you call this church your home, be confident knowing

that whatever that the church experiences, you will experience. Whatever

breakthrough that we have, you will also have. Right, I

remember once passed the shad that you know young okay

and dust In, our church will never will always get

jobs on and I don't think I've heard of a

young kid that have never got that. Even Okay, let

me tell you something funny. Even those that I know

that Javanna somehow can keep finding Jovanna, but but just

don't sustain the job. I don't want you ask me,

I don't. I don't understand. So so it also works

even if the person's not effective, the blessing still works. Okay, Fanila, Fanila, Okay,

How are you able to get all these? And it's

not bad, it's good jobs now, but the person cannot
