  1. You're listening to a message to go from Acts Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. The title of today's message is revival. What does it mean?

  4. So if you've seen that, you see I'm very bad

  5. at art. Okay, I'm very bad, but I tried. You

  6. see the dream, I thought, wow, this is pretty good

  7. dream and then revival, And actually what I should have

  8. done is I should have also put d I should

  9. have put a dream and revival because the second one

  10. is activated. Okay, first one is activated discipleship. Now this

  11. year revival is activated. And of course you know what

  12. E means, right, evangelism? Do you know that evangelism and

  13. revival go hand in hand? So yeah, let's move forward

  14. and we'll discover it as we go along. I want

  15. you to know there is a meaning for the word revival,

  16. and the dictionary describes us as this an important an

  17. improvement in the conditioned strength of fortunes or someone or something.

  18. So how many of you need this kind of revival

  19. in your life? Praise the Lord the few honest ones,

  20. So put your hands up. May the Lord give to

  21. you even as you have desired. Okay, yeah, it's true.

  22. We all you.

  23. Know covered this kind of revival in our lives. It

  24. is also an instance or something becoming popular, active or important.

  25. Again.

  26. Do you remember Ebba, the Ebber the father, but the

  27. Ebber the singing group. Do you know that in the

  28. eighties eb was a bad word? You know why anyone

  29. who said that they like Ebb the music? People say, wow,

  30. what's wrong with you? It was like, yeah, no class,

  31. you know, it's like low standard. But then came Mama

  32. Mire and suddenly ever became fashionable again. All right, so

  33. it is something that becomes important again. It is well,

  34. this is the dictionary explanation, a reawakening of religious fervor,

  35. especially by means of evangelistic meetings.

  36. All right, So revival, So.

  37. This is what the world thinks revival is all right

  38. because the word the word is being described in a dictionary.

  39. But the word of God has its own meaning, all right,

  40. It has its own understanding. And in the biblical sense,

  41. revival is God restoring spiritual life, awakening believers and renewing devotion, pentance,

  42. and obedience. I had a problem with this word revival

  43. all my Christian life because I heard this revival is coming.

  44. Revival is coming.

  45. And we talked about the great tent revivals. Well, these

  46. happened in other countries, the great tent Revivals of the fifties,

  47. or the Great Revival that happened in Sarawah, you know,

  48. or the great revivals that happened in Indonesia where hundreds

  49. and hundreds and hundreds or not thousands of people.

  50. Came to the Lord.

  51. And you're not in my mind like you imagine, Wow,

  52. suddenly huge crowds gathering together for revival.

  53. And this is my idea of revival.

  54. And I always thought, I mean, when it was prophesied,

  55. revival is coming, Revival is coming. And I'm in my

  56. head thinking when is it going to come? When is

  57. this thing happening? I don't see people giving their lives

  58. to the Lord by the hundreds and the thousands, so

  59. and for years and years. Okay, I became a Christian

  60. in the late seventies. All right, that's now forty five

  61. years or you know, forty seven years ago.

  62. How many of you have heard.

  63. Things like that, and you've been waiting and waiting and waiting.

  64. I mean, okay, you are too young. Because the eighties

  65. are all these preachers that came out, Revival is coming.

  66. Revival is coming, and yeah, and when is this revival

  67. going to come? Right? Then the Lord.

  68. Gave me an understanding. Look, it was always there, just that,

  69. now only I understand. Okay, he gave me an understanding

  70. of what revival actually meant. Many people confuse revival with

  71. evangelism Number one me but they are completely different. Evangelism

  72. is when lost people get saved. Revival is when saved

  73. people get awakened. Now I ask this question, how many

  74. of us need revival?

  75. That's it? You see.

  76. See, Revival was never about the millions of people coming

  77. to the Lord. Revival was always about we having a

  78. reawakening in us spirit. And then someone say, oh, that's

  79. not true. Look at the Book of Acts, Wow, five thousand,

  80. three thousand. When did they come to the Lord? They

  81. came to the Lord only after the disciples were revived

  82. by the power of the Holy Spirit. So when did

  83. evangelism come before or after revival of the heart took place?

  84. So actually, now I understand why dream dream, which is discipleship,

  85. revival is evangelism. When does evangelism come after revival? You see,

  86. I always thought revival was for somebody else. How many

  87. of us thought that way? Can I can I see

  88. if you were that, I'm the only one. So we thought,

  89. or I thought revival was for somebody else. I did

  90. not understand. Revival was for me. I needed revival. See,

  91. you want the thousands to come to the Lord. It

  92. has to start. Where does it start? It starts with.

  93. Us.

  94. So my spirit needed to get awakened. Now, you could

  95. also take it in the sense that, yeah, thousands of

  96. people came to the Lord, because in a real sense,

  97. everyone born has the spirit of God, has the spirit

  98. of God giving them life. So when they come into

  99. a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, their spirit

  100. is being revived.

  101. You could take it like that. You could also take

  102. it like that.

  103. But really, revival is us changing first. So how can

  104. we be personally involved with revival? Do you and I

  105. want to be involved in revival? We should, We should

  106. want the spirit of God to revive us to the

  107. point that we are always doing what God wants us

  108. to do. Hey, how many of you want to be

  109. blessed all the days of your life? Do you think

  110. you can be blessed all the days of your life

  111. doing what you want to do?

  112. Because you want to do it.

  113. I'm here to tell you that after forty seven years

  114. in the Lord. Uh, yeah, after forty seven years in

  115. the Lord.

  116. It doesn't work that way.

  117. You want to live a good and great life, it

  118. only comes when you.

  119. Are doing what God tells you to do.

  120. You are only successful when you are doing what God

  121. tells you to do. What that means I got to

  122. hear the Lord, yes, Because if you don't hear from

  123. the Lord, you know what you'll be doing. You'll be

  124. doing what you want to do. What you want to

  125. do is fine, it's fifty to fifty.

  126. You know what that means.

  127. It can turn out for good and it can turn

  128. out for bad. But when God is involved and when

  129. he tells you what to do, it can only go

  130. one way, one hundred percent victory because God's in it

  131. all right.

  132. So how to be personally involved with revival? Now? The

  133. responsibility is ours?

  134. You know, the responsibility for revival hasn't to do it,

  135. how great the preacher is, It hasn't to do it,

  136. how powerful your pastor is. It hasn't to do it.

  137. What a great church you belong to. Revival happens because

  138. you take the trouble to make it your responsibility. There

  139. was a revival in the university in the US, maybe

  140. a couple of years back.

  141. You know how the.

  142. Revival takes place. Took place The students got together, started praying.

  143. You know what they did. They took responsibility. They took responsibility.

  144. And because they came together and started to pray, guess

  145. what happened. A revival took place and outpouring of the

  146. Holy Spirit so much so that because they lifted up

  147. the name of Jesus, people were drawn to that place

  148. and a great thing happened. Lives were changed. You want

  149. to see that happen in your lives. It can, it will,

  150. but you see the reason. Perhaps it hasn't taken place,

  151. or it doesn't take place because we are waiting for

  152. somebody else to do. It doesn't work that way. It's

  153. your responsibility. You start revival where you are. I will

  154. if we go on, you'll get to see that revival

  155. doesn't only mean the thousands. Revival also means the one

  156. or the two that is also revival.

  157. You gotta get with the program. You gotta understand what

  158. the Lord is meaning.

  159. Okay, now I'm going to be using a scripture not

  160. necessarily really involved with this, but it is to give

  161. you an understanding. So it is our responsibility. If you

  162. remember in scripture, we're talking way back in One Samuel

  163. chapter fifteen.

  164. This was when.

  165. Samuel told the newly elected or newly appointed Saul what

  166. he had to do. He was told, rich, this land,

  167. of this gods and this cows and this king, completely

  168. get rid of them. Why because they were an abomination

  169. before the Lord. The Lord had given him an instruction

  170. to do. Now Saul decided to.

  171. Him.

  172. You see, you always have a choice when God tells

  173. you to do something. You always have a choice. Do

  174. I listen to God or do I listen to my self?

  175. Now Saul listened to himself. So what he did was

  176. he destroyed Ah, whatever, whatever, whatever, But he kept the God,

  177. he kept sheep, and he did not destroy the king.

  178. And it offended the Lord. We better learn something. You

  179. want revival to happen in your life. Let's stop offending

  180. the Lord. You know how we offend the Lord when

  181. we do not listen to him and do not do

  182. what he tells us to do. The instruction Who appointed Saul?

  183. Did Saul appoint himself or God specially choose him? Do

  184. you know that God has specially chosen each and every

  185. one of us. You know how you know that, for

  186. by grace you saved that of not of yourself, the

  187. free gift of God. He predestined us to be children

  188. of the Lord. Now I've explained his word predestined. It

  189. doesn't simply mean oh, God only shows you. You you

  190. what I means. God is unfair. I didn't choose that person. No,

  191. God has predestined one hundred percent everybody is to be

  192. his child and to get safe. It's your choice whether

  193. you want to accept it or not. So you accept it.

  194. Praise the Lord. You have accepted his predestination. Those that

  195. have rejected it have rejected his predestined will.

  196. That's what he means.

  197. So now we have Saul, who takes medisine to its

  198. own hands. He doesn't do exactly what the Lord has

  199. told him, all right? So in One Samuel fifteen nineteen,

  200. Samuel comes up to him and says, Saul.

  201. Why didn't you do what I told you to do?

  202. Why did you not obey?

  203. Don't ever let God ever come up to us and

  204. say why did you do what you want to do?

  205. Why did you not obey?

  206. Usually, when the Lord tells us that it means we're

  207. so far off and we're in trouble.

  208. We're in trouble.

  209. You know, God doesn't leave us without a response, and

  210. that is that if we do do such a thing,

  211. it's not the end.

  212. We can turn things around.

  213. So the first thing that Samuel comes up to say,

  214. what is this?

  215. I hear the bleeding of sheeps.

  216. And Samuel sorry, Samuel, and Samuel's very upset with Saul.

  217. Why did you do such a thing? Let's not be

  218. in that position. Remember it's the responsibility is ours.

  219. So then.

  220. You gotta understand what the scripture said. Do you know

  221. why Saul did it? Because Saul wanted to honor himself.

  222. You read it in since scripture just above in the

  223. beginning part of US one Sevenuel fifteen. Saul did what

  224. he wanted to honor himself. Guys, I know someone who

  225. wanted to honor himself. You know what happened to him?

  226. He was thrown out of heaven.

  227. Who was he?

  228. Lucifer? He wanted honor for himself. We got to learn

  229. when we want honor for ourselves? Are we falling into

  230. that category?

  231. Always? Remember revival starts here. Yeah.

  232. So now the second thing we got remember his contriteness.

  233. What is contriteness. Contriteness is having a desire, having the

  234. spirit of being sorry and and and uh, you know,

  235. repenting of what you have done. You know what does

  236. actually uh soul say?

  237. But soul said, but I did obey?

  238. What? Samuel confronted him, and he responds with, but I

  239. did obey?

  240. What?

  241. How many of us respond to God that way? But

  242. I did what you told me? How come nothing has happened?

  243. Have you ever seen that?

  244. To the Lord? I confess I have you see, Saul said,

  245. I'm sorry, but I did obey. That was so fake?

  246. You know, God can tell when we are fake. Sorry.

  247. Look at David. Okay, now David did an even more

  248. evil thing. I mean, Saul just didn't kill some sheep. Okay,

  249. what did David do? He stold somebody's wife and he

  250. murdered a husband. And when Nathan, I think it was

  251. the prophet Nathan, came up to him and say, you've

  252. done wrong.

  253. You know what? Do you know what David said? I

  254. have sin? I'm sorry? Lord? You see he said, I'm sorry.

  255. Saul said, I'm sorry.

  256. What was the difference between Saul sorry and David sorry?

  257. Saul sorry? Was but I did oh way, what David

  258. sorry was I'm sorry? Then he repented. There was a consequence,

  259. and you know, David was sorry because he wore a

  260. sackcloth and ashes when the consequence of his sin came

  261. to line. But the moment the consequence was over, he

  262. anointed himself. He cleansed himself. And you know what God

  263. says of David, a man after my own heart. Hey,

  264. can't we read between the lines?

  265. What is a.

  266. Person that is after God's heart? Someone who is truthful

  267. with the Lord? Hey, we all make mistakes. Go up

  268. to the Lord and tell it like it is.

  269. God.

  270. I did it because I liked it. God, I did it,

  271. and I can't stop. God, I did it.

  272. I'm so sorry.

  273. If you mean it in your heart, when you apologize

  274. to the Lord, he will forgive.

  275. See.

  276. That's the difference. Saul wasn't like that. Saul was fake.

  277. I'm sorry, but I did ob I'm sorry. Can you

  278. image the difference that I can imagine? That's how he

  279. told Samuel, I'm sorry, it's okayutely, forget about it.

  280. Is that right? Is that the right use of the

  281. word okay, okay, thank you. Contriteness ownership.

  282. One of the key components about being contrived before the Lord.

  283. One of the key.

  284. Components about asking the lord forgiveness. One of the key

  285. components is you know what it is to take ownership

  286. for what you've done. It's not somebody else. That person

  287. didn't make the mistake because of somebody else.

  288. It's us. If you make a mistake, don't blame somebody else.

  289. Take ownership. You know, when I was leading a group

  290. of people before I retired, if something went wrong, I

  291. refused to say that person did it, much to my detriment.

  292. Sometimes I would say sorry, I should have known better,

  293. because it is my responsibility.

  294. The people are under me. But you know, have you

  295. seen in the world.

  296. I have seen where there are some people who take

  297. no ownership. It's always somebody else's fault. You very easy

  298. to support somebody like that, you know, in leadership, very easy.

  299. To spot somebody like that. You know how you spot

  300. like that.

  301. The company is like a turnpike, people coming and going

  302. because nobody will stay under someone who's a bad boss.

  303. Well, are you blame this person?

  304. You blame that person will leave, next person come, the

  305. same thing will happen. That is the easiest way to spot.

  306. But you know what.

  307. People without the Lord don't have discernment. So you have

  308. some bosses who do not have discernment and do think

  309. the world. All of such bosses, such such leaders. God's

  310. not like that. God sees straight through the heart. So

  311. you see what Saul did after he said I have sin,

  312. he is acknowledging that he did wrong. But even that

  313. was insincere because then he said I was afraid of

  314. the men. What did the men got to do with it?

  315. Did he build a monument in the man's honor?

  316. He built a.

  317. Monument you read, for his own honor, and now he's

  318. blaming the men. So you can see it was insincere. Hey,

  319. God can see through us. You want revival that happened

  320. in your heart. Don't let God see through you that way.

  321. If he has to see through you, say yeah, the

  322. guys genuine a man after my own heart. God will

  323. forgive you whatever you've done. I mean, if we can,

  324. If we can forgive a murdering, a doubterer that like David,

  325. how many of us fall into that, And don't put

  326. up your hands. We don't murder, and we don't we're

  327. not want not into adultery. And the Lord forgives us. Guys,

  328. you gotta understand, we have to understand. Take ownership.

  329. That's how revival takes place in your heart.

  330. Take ownership. Character character. You want to have good character.

  331. You gotta see through what you've done. Look at Saul

  332. in one Semuel thirty, it's fifteen thirty A right, I

  333. think that the fifteen is missing there?

  334. Sorry for that again, he says, Second timer, I have sin.

  335. He says that I have seen.

  336. Then the true motive of his heart comes out again.

  337. But please go back with me, Please honor me. You see,

  338. Saul was more concerned about his own face. He was

  339. not concerned about God's face. That was the difference between

  340. David and Saul. You see, if God allowed David to

  341. get away with it, it would have been a slap on

  342. God's face. But David didn't do that. He acknowledged his

  343. sin and he repented, and God did what he needed

  344. to do. There is always a consequence. David went through

  345. that consequence. He survived. Not only did he survive, he

  346. prospered after that. But look at Saul, honor me, He said,

  347. come back with me. I know I've sin, but come

  348. in honor me. Very devilish Actually that was actually very

  349. demonic of him because that was the devil straight. Uh,

  350. that was exactly the devil straight. So you know what

  351. happened to Saul in the end. So the first thing

  352. you got to remember about having revival happen in your

  353. heart is it is our responsibility. The second thing we

  354. want to know, we need to know for revival to

  355. take place, is share what you know.

  356. God expects us to share what we know.

  357. He doesn't expect us to talk about something we have

  358. no understanding of, but he expects us to share our testimony.

  359. He expects us.

  360. To share our experience.

  361. I tell you a funny story. Well, I don't know

  362. where it's funny or not. It happened yesterday. So in

  363. my house, right above my master bed, you know the ceiling,

  364. in the middle of the night, certainly loud noise like

  365. somebody's playing drums, like somebody was playing drums, though it

  366. sounded like toms and cymbals all going at one time.

  367. And it's so loud and so heavy that my two dogs,

  368. all right, Nallah and Macie, would start bucking and getting

  369. so disturbed and whining. And of course when all this

  370. is happening, how to sleep seriously, you cannot sleep.

  371. Now.

  372. I thought it was a mussan, you know, because my

  373. area we do have mussang. So I thought there must

  374. have been a mussang in the ceiling. Now, how many

  375. of you would set traps in the ceiling. Don't ever

  376. set traps in the ceiling. If you forget about it,

  377. trap and you catch it and it dies, then you

  378. have smell and you go worms and you got all

  379. these kind of things right now, you don't want bad, don't.

  380. So what I decided to do was go into the roof. Yeah,

  381. me go into the roof and put lights. Yeah, you

  382. put lights, you know, because when you hear the activity,

  383. you just turn on the light.

  384. They run away.

  385. They don't catch them, they run away, they don't come back.

  386. They come back, You turn on the light again and

  387. then they run away. Okay, that was the planner to

  388. put lights in the roof. First you have the plan

  389. in your head, then you have reality check. The reality

  390. is a few years ago. I've been in the roof

  391. so many times. I've done plumbing work, lighting, I did

  392. so many things in the roof. Again, that was until

  393. I reached this age. At this age, my knee it's

  394. not exactly strong. In fact, it's very weak.

  395. Right now, I can walk straight. All that is fine.

  396. Sitting down, getting up is tough.

  397. Navigating the staircase is tough because my knee is giving trouble.

  398. So anyway, I put the ladder. If I bought a

  399. new letder to go into the roof. Now you know

  400. one of those times you just puller. You know it's

  401. flat and then you just pull it goes up. Okay,

  402. so it saves a lot of space. So I put

  403. this ladder, opened the ceiling board. Then I went up

  404. as far as I could go until here. Then I

  405. looked around and what I usually could do is hold

  406. the beam and pull myself up. This time my leg

  407. can a movement holding the beam trying to okaynot go.

  408. So this is not going to happen. I was not

  409. going to make it into the roof.

  410. And while I was there standing and watching everything, because

  411. I had a light on.

  412. Okay, there's a light I put.

  413. I put a light on my hand, you know like

  414. how they see, you know, movies, one hand.

  415. So I'm sitting there, look I mean not sitting.

  416. I'm standing in the roof and right up there, and

  417. then I'm looking around and then I see the culprit.

  418. Of the noise, A big fat rat.

  419. Yeah, the rats body itself must have been about six

  420. seven inches, not counting the tail.

  421. And this rat was not afraid of me.

  422. I'm in the roof at least up to here, and

  423. then the rat just looks at me and just moves across.

  424. I'm thinking to myself, this is my house. How dare

  425. you do that?

  426. You are the one who's giving me trouble all the time,

  427. big fat rat. Now, in case you do not know

  428. how my house, rats cannot come into the house because

  429. I seal everything of Cocklages cannot come in, snakes cannot

  430. come in, insects cannot come in. I use all the best

  431. things so that none of these things. But the roof

  432. is another story, okay, because you know you got access

  433. from that sewage pipe that goes to the sea. There

  434. are other ways that these rats come in. So I

  435. thank God, how is it that I'm going to solve

  436. this problem. I can't get in the roof, not anymore.

  437. I can't even lift my legs, so I cannot get

  438. in to seal the problem, to solve it. Then the

  439. Lord gave another idea, said, don't worry about it. All

  440. you need to do is make a small hole in

  441. this corner, run a wire. You can run the wire

  442. behind the cable. All that put it so it's okay,

  443. it's fine. And so I said, thank you Lord. So

  444. I did that, made the whole random wire, put the

  445. plug point. I got plug point in my roof and

  446. a ceiling plug points. Because the first thing that happens

  447. is I put the light. If that doesn't work, I'm

  448. gonna put a buzzer.

  449. Again.

  450. So anyway I put these things came down says turn

  451. it on, halloljah.

  452. It worked.

  453. So in the nighttime, I shut off all the lights

  454. in my bedroom and I turned on the light in

  455. the ceiling and then you can see light escaping through

  456. the small holes or.

  457. Cracks or whatever.

  458. It looks like a nice you know, like one of

  459. these things you go to see nice nice lights in

  460. the ceiling.

  461. That's what it looks like. Anyway, what I want you

  462. to know about this is.

  463. You don't need to do something you're not able to

  464. do to see revival happen.

  465. God can give us ideas.

  466. God can help us to share what we know to

  467. see somebody else blessed in this case, I felt that

  468. my idea was a complete failure because I couldn't get

  469. into the roof to do it.

  470. And I was so sad.

  471. I went to the Lord, and the Lord gave me

  472. another idea and I did it and it worked. Share

  473. what you know, and for this I want to move

  474. to Two Kings. If you read Two Kings, chapter seven,

  475. it talks about Israel being besieged by the Syrians king

  476. by King Aram, all right, and he was besieged. Israel

  477. was besieged, besieged meaning that the king had circled them.

  478. There was no access to food and water, and they

  479. were struggling. And Elisha the prophet Elishah, said, don't worry.

  480. God's going to take care of it. Don't worry, It's

  481. all taken care of. God can handle the situation. Do

  482. you know that God can handle every situation of ours,

  483. irrespective of how difficult it may be. Hey, we can

  484. be in the center, we can be dying, we can

  485. be besieged by the world around us, trying to choke us,

  486. trying to remove all success from us, trying to take

  487. away food and water and our security. But God can

  488. break through all of that. You say, because God's hand

  489. is not shortened. You see, there's a world around us.

  490. We cannot reach beyond the wall. But you see it's

  491. God inside the wall. Where's God. God's in heaven. From heaven,

  492. he can reach anywhere. There's nothing he cannot do for us.

  493. You and I got to understand it. So here we

  494. have Elishah, and what he did was he prophesied and say,

  495. you don't worry. God's going to take care of this.

  496. What is your problem today? What situation you're facing today?

  497. You mean a say in revival as handling of your problem.

  498. You better believe it, because with the presence of the

  499. Lord coming into your heart, no difficulty can sustain or retain.

  500. So here we see the king and the Israelites in

  501. that inside that place, fearful, troubled, distraught. The word of

  502. the Lord came from Elisha the prophet say don't worry,

  503. it's going.

  504. To be okay.

  505. But they still continue to doubt, and they could not

  506. see it. Do you know that the word of the

  507. Lord will come to pass in your life.

  508. Whether you see it or whether you don't.

  509. What matters to us is what is the word of

  510. the Lord that he intends for us? Some you can

  511. make happen. Some just are there. Some of you God

  512. chooses some of you. God chooses to let his glory

  513. be seen in you. When that happens, usually some difficulties

  514. come your way. Do not give up, because difficulties come

  515. not to destroy you, but to build your character. Difficulties

  516. come to make you a shining light to those who

  517. will need that leading and guidance in the future. And

  518. that kind of character comes when God develops you, because

  519. he knows you can take it all.

  520. Right.

  521. So now the story goes on that there were four lepers,

  522. hm who you know, those with leprosy those days, they

  523. were shunned. Okay, they were not allowed to come into

  524. the city. They were left outside. You know, they were outside.

  525. Nobody wants to touch them, nobody wants to disturb them.

  526. You just be all yourself and I'll be myself. That

  527. kind of thing.

  528. So these four leapers come to the gate, and then

  529. they say to themselves.

  530. What did they say? They said to one another, we're

  531. sitting here and till we die. Are we going to

  532. do that?

  533. This is and two Samuel seven, verse three, and then

  534. verse eight it says this.

  535. The lepers.

  536. Before that the Leopods decide why don't we just go

  537. to the enemy's camp.

  538. You know, worst comes to the worst.

  539. They kill us, which is okay, even though they may

  540. just give us something to you, which is also okay.

  541. One way or the other, we'll be okay. This is

  542. what they said to them. So so they went to

  543. the camp and guess what happens. Okay, when they came

  544. to the outskirts of the camp, they went into one

  545. of the tents and they ate and they.

  546. Drag while they found food.

  547. God feeds everybody, if you will believe it. So why

  548. does the world suffer from hunger? World suffers from Actually

  549. a lot of those countries that are suffering from hunger

  550. us because evil people are keeping the food from the poor.

  551. You know, they steal the provisions and they sell it

  552. to make money for themselves. You go, and you see,

  553. that's what happened in Ethiopia. You know that we are

  554. the world we are. You know how many millions was collected?

  555. Do you know what happened to those millions? The Ethiopian government.

  556. Evil people in the government did not pass food to

  557. their people, and they kept.

  558. The food for themselves. That's the truth. And when these

  559. lepards came the outskirts.

  560. They went in, they ate and they dragged and gets

  561. what they carried from it, silver and gold and clothing,

  562. and went and hit them. Now, I can never understand

  563. why people who are going to war will carry silver

  564. and gold. I can only think of one reason. Because

  565. they are afraid they keep it behind somebody who will

  566. steal it there, so they take it with them. Soever

  567. they when they took their silver and gold, protecting their property.

  568. I don't know, maybe other reasons.

  569. So anyway, and they came back and entered into ten

  570. and carried some of it also and went and hid it.

  571. So in other words, they were having a great time

  572. being provided for silver, gold, food, drinking out the children

  573. of Israel.

  574. What was happening to them?

  575. They were suffering from hunger and no water and they

  576. were but these four lepers were having the time of year.

  577. So they're really enjoying themselves, you know, like when my

  578. little dog lies on the back and then you're gott

  579. to rub the belly as like that, And they're really

  580. enjoying themselves. Okay, so then they sit to one another

  581. Verse nine, we are not doing right. This day is

  582. a day of good news, and we remain silent Look,

  583. we are the lepers that God has provided for. We

  584. are the rejected people that God has provided for. God

  585. has provided us with silver and gold and food. And

  586. we eat of the fat of the lad because God

  587. has been good to us. But you see revival in

  588. your heart takes place. Why when you come to thisunderstanding,

  589. we are not doing right keeping this good news to ourselves.

  590. How many have you been saved? And how many of

  591. you tell people you've been saved? Wasn't this good news

  592. for you? But if we refuse to share it because

  593. we are afraid of being rejected, right, we are afraid

  594. of what people will think of us. So we're so

  595. worried about what people think of us, like Saul who

  596. wanted a monument built in his honor rather than God.

  597. What God thinks of us? Look at these four people.

  598. If we wait until morning light, some punishment will come

  599. upon us. Now, therefore, let us go and tell the

  600. king's household.

  601. For us.

  602. It should mean that if we keep good news to

  603. us for a long time, God's not pleased. The Bible says,

  604. go into the world, preach the gospel, making the disciples

  605. right a noow Matthew twenty eight. So are we preaching

  606. the gospel. What is preaching the gospel? Telling somebody the

  607. good news? Telling somebody about Jesus? I mean the photocopy.

  608. A guy comes into my office and tells me his

  609. son was in hospital. I tell him, bring the boy

  610. to church. We can pray he will be all right.

  611. Or why don't you come and learn about Jesus because

  612. Jesus loves you and loves your child. I shared with

  613. him first time. I'm meeting him first time. I'm sharing

  614. Jesus with him. You know why, I'm getting over the

  615. fear of people telling me I'm not interested? You see,

  616. because when they tell me they are not interested, they're

  617. not telling me that they're telling God they're not interested.

  618. So I let them handle it with God. For me,

  619. I will do what God tells me to do. Share

  620. the word.

  621. Do not be.

  622. Like I would say, be like these leperds who said

  623. it's not good for us to keep it to us,

  624. as we got to share it.

  625. So they went and they called the gatekeepers. You see,

  626. revival happened to them.

  627. Now revival is going to happen to other believers. Okay,

  628. they went and they call the gatekeepers and said and

  629. told him when he went to the Syrian camp. Surprisingly,

  630. no one was there, not a human sound, only horses

  631. and donkeys tied and the tents intact.

  632. Guys, look at this, What did they tell? Did they tell?

  633. Oh?

  634. You know, there was a great noise and the people ran. No,

  635. they didn't.

  636. They just swean and told them what they knew. God

  637. only expects us to tell what we know. God had

  638. taken care of all that. They didn't know what God did.

  639. They only knew what they saw and what they experienced. Guys,

  640. you don't need to tell what somebody else experience. Just

  641. tell how God is in your life. So it doesn't

  642. seem spectacular. So what.

  643. Not?

  644. All of us have spectacular lives. Sometimes God gives you

  645. a normal life so that somebody normal can come to

  646. know of the Lord.

  647. Did you think of that? Guys?

  648. Then the people went out and plundered the ten of

  649. the Syrians, so that the sear of fine flowers sold

  650. for a shekel to see us a balley for a shekel.

  651. According to the word of the Lord. I want you

  652. to know this revival first happened with believers, and from

  653. believers to believers. And how does evangelism take place? You

  654. share what you know, which is why evangelism comes after revival,

  655. because revival is for you and for me. The Bible says,

  656. when we lift up the name of Jesus, he draws

  657. all men unto himself. You know why lifting up the

  658. name of just maybe because we are not lifting up

  659. the name of Jesus. So when we get revived, suddenly

  660. we are reviving. We are lifting up the name of Jesus.

  661. It causes something fantastic to happen and people are drawn.

  662. That's what happened.

  663. To the apostles when they were revived by the power

  664. the Holy Spirit. And only then when they went out,

  665. the people came by the thousands. So we talk about

  666. revival in the land, revival with who, revival with the

  667. believers that caused evangelism to take place. You see what

  668. you're saying, what I'm saying. No, But we are thinking

  669. revival is evangelism and we need to see the people

  670. save in order for our lives to change.

  671. No, no, no, is the other way wrong.

  672. Let's take responsibility. Let's trust the Lord.

  673. Okay.

  674. And the last thing we got to know is you

  675. gotta believe. You have to believe, you have to believe

  676. that God can use you. But without faith, it's impossible

  677. to please him. For He is who he who comes

  678. to God must believe that he is, and that He

  679. is a reward of those that diligent is he came

  680. Hebrews eleven six. Hey, you want God to be pleased

  681. with you, you have to believe in him. Believe in

  682. God is the most basic of all human human considerations.

  683. You know that, you know it's the most basic. Acknowledged

  684. Acknowledgment of God is foundational to learning any more about Him.

  685. Without believing in God, it is impossible to please him.

  686. The basic thing is for our spirit to get close

  687. to God again. It longs for God, for the wrath

  688. of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and

  689. unrighteousness of men who suppressed truth in unrighteousness, because what

  690. may be known of God is manifest in them, and

  691. God has shown it to them, the wrath of God.

  692. For since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes

  693. are clearly seen, being understood by all things that are made,

  694. even his external power and the God had so that

  695. they are without excuse. I will explain this because although

  696. they knew God, they did not glorify him as God.

  697. Nor were they thankful, but became futile in their thoughts,

  698. and their foolish charts were darkened. Professing to be wise,

  699. this world profess itself to be wise. But you know what,

  700. the world has become a fool. This is what scripture says. Okay,

  701. and change the glory of the incorrupt, incorruptible God into

  702. an image made by corruptible men, of birds and four

  703. footed animals and creeping things.

  704. People are surrounded with proof of God's existence. We are you.

  705. Just look into the heavens. You can see the greatness

  706. of glory of God. And it is only through the

  707. hardening of sin that men reject the proof. This is

  708. in Romans. All that I read is from Romans one,

  709. verses eighteen to twenty three. Why do I say this?

  710. This world today thinks they're very smart, they think they're

  711. very wise, and what did they do?

  712. They become fools, absolute fools.

  713. There's a story in Facebook about this man giving birth

  714. to three babies, three children.

  715. Just because you.

  716. Take male hormones and grow a mustache doesn't make you

  717. a man if you have the female parts. So I

  718. put their nice try. Nowadays, I'm a little bit vocal

  719. about this. I put their nice try. In fact, I

  720. had some disagreements with some family members overseas over things

  721. like this. I said, your delusion is yours to bear,

  722. but do not project your delusion of understanding upon somebody

  723. else who doesn't see it the way you do.

  724. See.

  725. I see a man as a man and a woman

  726. is a woman. Just because a man dresses as a

  727. woman doesn't make me doesn't force me to call him

  728. a her, like in some countries you must do. That's

  729. their foolishness, it's not mine. This is what description. When

  730. you reject God, you become foolish in your thoughts. You

  731. go wrong, you go off. So when you ask why

  732. are they like that? Why is the world like that today?

  733. Because they are rejecting God, don't you know what is happening?

  734. The scene is being set up for the return of

  735. Jesus Christ. All this is prophesied in scripture. We better

  736. get with the program. So this is something, This is

  737. nothing you God already said this was gonna happen. We're

  738. just seeing it happen before our eyes.

  739. The fool.

  740. In verse fourteen, it says the fool. This is Psalms

  741. fourteen one, The fool has said in his heart there

  742. is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works,

  743. and there's none that does good. It is foolish to

  744. disbelieve in God.

  745. So, as Christians, you say, this can't happen to us.

  746. I'll end with this.

  747. Just after Jesus had died, and then he was buried,

  748. and then there was news of him resurrecting, there were

  749. two men who were walking away from the action. They

  750. were walking to a mouse. The Jerusalem was behind them.

  751. They were headed to emounts, and Jesus appeared with them,

  752. but they didn't know it was Jesus and this and

  753. Jesus AS's already talking about and they said, don't you

  754. know what has happened? You know all these things that happened,

  755. And there's this good man, it's good profit and the

  756. Pharisees killed him.

  757. Better da dada.

  758. They were saying all these things. Guys, Jesus had just died,

  759. and they were already walking away. You see, that's believers,

  760. you know, that's us. It wasn't the non believer that

  761. was walking away. It was the believer that was walking away.

  762. So soon after being so called left alone, they're walking

  763. away I hope our faith is not like that that

  764. we walk away. But I want you to know what

  765. revival does for you. So when Jesus broke bread sunny,

  766. the scales fell from their eyes and things, Oh, this

  767. is Jesus, and he left them. And what did they do?

  768. They turned back and headed to Jerusalem. Do you know

  769. what revival in your hearts does? What revival in my

  770. heart does? It realigns our vision and sets us back

  771. on the path we need to go, the path towards Jerusalem,

  772. the path towards a higher faith, the path towards a

  773. higher calling, a path to where God has shown us.

  774. That's the meaning of what Jerusalem. Heading back to Jerusalem,

  775. they're walking away, and when the Lord revivesed their heart,

  776. they turn one hundred and eighty degrees and walk the

  777. other way.

  778. So, guys, let it start with us first in our hearts.

  779. And it's very simple.

  780. Just acknowledge who Jesus is, worship him, be truthful with

  781. the Lord, take responsibility.

  782. Believe in him. It's going to be okay. Let's stand okay.

  783. I I, oh Theyda. I was wondering where you went to.

  784. I know you were coming up, But then I turned

  785. around here where Praise the Lord. Well that's the word

  786. for this morning. I hope you've been blessed.

  787. Revival. Huh, praise the Lord. Let's let's.

  788. Praise the Lord in the song. I want you to

  789. know that when you whenever you hear the name Jesus

  790. in a song, can you emphasize Jesus, Jesus, not Jesus.

  791. That song that we did today, the second song, I think.

  792. It was mm hmm, I know that, I know.

  793. Uh, then I know, And then the chorus says something

  794. about Jesus.

  795. Right, yeah, it does Jesus. You so mean so good

  796. to me? Right, okay? Yeah?

  797. You know when when I was singing that song down there,

  798. the Lord was saying, when you come to the name

  799. of Jesus, are you emphasize it? You sing it out loud.

  800. It does something for your spirit. And from now on,

  801. when you hear the name Jesus in a song, you

  802. cannot just sing it like Jesus.

  803. Emphasize it. Let your spirit jump up.

  804. Is it?

  805. That is the name Jesus in it? It is? Okay?

  806. In a bridge? Correct? Okay? Look, I know.

  807. Usually we sing a slow song, we sing a thoughtful song.

  808. But today can we sing this song okay, and I'll

  809. show you what I mean when we get to that part. Jesus,

  810. you emphasize it all right, with all your mights.

  811. You will sense a difference in the atmosphere.

  812. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
