  1. You're listening to a message to go from Acts Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea. So

  3. the title of message and we're going through a series,

  4. the question or the statement is.

  5. What is revival? Okay? What is revival? Nice? Not my size?

  6. What is revival? That's the question. I was choosing color

  7. this morning. I'm like, oh, wish color red means blood

  8. of Jesus. Blue is more coming. I just yellow because

  9. I thought annoying thing oil would be quite cooler.

  10. Okay, what is revival? Okay?

  11. Let's if you if you read the dictionary revival or revive,

  12. you only use that word when you're reviving someone that's did. Correct,

  13. when you're reviving something that's they revive, revived something that related.

  14. We need to revive the person or persons in in shock.

  15. Cord blue, is that correct? There's a cord blue right right?

  16. Cord blue means bad, no, okay, not come, you know, uh.

  17. And we want to revive the person. The person is

  18. in a coma. We want to revive the person.

  19. Right.

  20. So when you talk about revival and Christian what does

  21. it mean. Let's study it a little bit. Okay, let's

  22. go deeper in what reviving means. Can I say that

  23. reviving is or revival is returning to the original?

  24. Okay?

  25. Can I say that reviving something is just returning it

  26. to the original state something that was that it was

  27. a lie. Becoming dead is not original state. You you

  28. follow the England, how you follow the England? How I

  29. don't go to date with you? Right, something that was

  30. alive became dead and we revive it to be alive

  31. because the original status, the original condition, the original is life.

  32. Right, So what does it mean?

  33. Well, back to basics is what we're thinking about when we.

  34. Talk about revival. We're talked.

  35. We're thinking about, Hey, if we need to revive, going

  36. back to basics, what is basics? We'll go deeper into

  37. it in a bit. So for us as a church,

  38. this is to go back to the basics of X.

  39. And I'm not talking about X Church in two thousand

  40. year two thousand. I'm talking about X Church two thousand

  41. years ago, when the first church started.

  42. That's why we call our church the name Extras.

  43. For some of us here who have been in exchis

  44. for so long, but we forget we are not here

  45. to be called to be a Bookit like good church

  46. if you get that, we're not here to be called

  47. the House of God Church. Okay, right, we're we're not

  48. called to be any other church, but X.

  49. That's just what we're called.

  50. So don't get confused, friends, Please don't get confused. Right

  51. And for us, the reason why the name X is

  52. so significant because we want to go back into the

  53. church in the Book of X, the church, the first

  54. church in the book of the first Church in the Bible.

  55. Going back to that, back to basics. So we talked

  56. of revival. That's what we're thinking about. That's where we

  57. are going, right when we talk about back to basics?

  58. What else? Okay?

  59. For you, as a believer, how many of you here

  60. are believers? Can you just wave your hand? You are

  61. a Christian. You receive Jesus as your law and savior.

  62. If you didn't raise your hand, it's okay. Later we

  63. have a you know, a salvation called please raise your

  64. hand then and then you experience Christ, you know, who

  65. are coming resigne your life. Do you remember the first

  66. time you said the salvation prayer? I think I remember

  67. the first time I said the salvation prayer.

  68. I was very excited.

  69. You know, of course I had the exposure of being

  70. in a Christian family for many years, you know, and

  71. I always thought that I was born Christian. Friends, there's

  72. no such thing. You need to receive Jesus for yourself.

  73. And I remember when I received Jesus. Actually was not

  74. sure because I.

  75. Was still here.

  76. I received in three times in Sunday school until the

  77. third time the teacher had those sit down and say, actually,

  78. you received ones enough?

  79. Right? Hands up? Many times? Right? And isn't it if

  80. you remember the first time?

  81. Right, you receive Christ as your person, ever, personal law

  82. and savior. Isn't it like going back to our first love?

  83. But everything's exciting. We're going church, You're exciting. I remember

  84. when I was a Christian.

  85. I was young.

  86. I actually you know, drama gung ho, decide to attend

  87. my friends church or so. So it was one Sunday,

  88. I remember, I went to three churches the recess. Nothing

  89. better to do, right, you know. And the last time

  90. on no internet, last time, got no social media, last

  91. time on not a netfix. So we were free now

  92. or now we're busy LAPAs Ilvean. I have to follow

  93. Culinary Wars and follow the latest season of you know, Chef.

  94. In my fridge so I can practice how to cook

  95. in fifteen minutes. Right, so busy, But when we I mean,

  96. if you cannot imagine loving Jesus that way, I'm sure

  97. you can imagine your first love. In relationships were exciting, right,

  98. you know the person walked past you. Your hus keep

  99. a bit, right, I see some airy people still smiling.

  100. I'm sure your wife is still helping you. Every time

  101. your wife walks past. I'm sure your heart keeps a bit.

  102. Hopefully keep a bit and not high attacker. Okay, back

  103. to our first love. That's back to basics. Back to

  104. excitement when serving God extreme so exciting, right when you

  105. serve God, when you you you've been one thing and

  106. you believe that the Lord has called you to play guitar,

  107. and your your skills and talent is wasted, it.

  108. Homes and you want to prove and show yourself.

  109. On this stage because the more you string you know

  110. it's from the you know, the sprea of the Lord

  111. will come down. You will get healed, right right right?

  112. Remember how excited you are five years later? Huh so early,

  113. doctor Jason? Why so early? How you mean we need

  114. to go to the storage place and pack our things

  115. and coming. Just keep it behind here. Lah, I want

  116. to sleep. You know, you know, you know, you know

  117. how precious these arms are. You know I need my

  118. beauty sleep. I cannot perform. It's not performances about worship.

  119. Back to our excitement and serving God. You know, whole steam,

  120. so excited, shake hands, no now cities word and you said,

  121. yeah him.

  122. Back right.

  123. Back to our excitement of serving God again, right back

  124. where we don't count.

  125. We've got God.

  126. That day I come for Sunday ready, and then then

  127. homes Nona. I come for home city Sunday. I come

  128. ready two hours for pray, then prayer service. Today we

  129. contral okay, God contralt because I came for this and

  130. that and then there's a certain time. I'm managing my life.

  131. I'm balancing my life. If you are doing it, please

  132. don't us. I'm not talking about you. Back to where

  133. we don't count.

  134. We've God.

  135. Actually, maybe you don't come. We've got la, but you

  136. will come with you or how a leader or you

  137. count your home leader. Yes, why give again?

  138. I give so much?

  139. They get these other fellows to give flaw. It's fair, right, God,

  140. it's fair right, supposed to be fair, right.

  141. Let's read the word X chapter one versus learned fourteen.

  142. Are you guys okay? We're going on to dig deeper

  143. in what is revival? Okay? What is revival? Right? We

  144. want to learn because why is it good to learn?

  145. Because when we learn something new that we didn't know

  146. before or didn't realize before, and then we apply it,

  147. then we benefit from it. You'll catch that sometimes we

  148. do things because we just don't know, because we maybe

  149. fall to the flash, fall to different ways, you know,

  150. fall to different teachings, false teachings, I guess the word

  151. you know, fall to different opinions. Do you know that

  152. when you have mama over the the table, like or

  153. you have discussion during CNY about church ands and then

  154. you hear a friend share something that you really like,

  155. you love.

  156. Actually, actually you're not.

  157. Servisa should be one hour only because God is a

  158. god of order, He don't need so long one And

  159. then he talked to some of our African brothers, right,

  160. and they're saying, huh, so shut up our shots services for.

  161. Ours because he got two hour worship.

  162. One hour preservice prayer and smernot hand ha huh X

  163. Chapter one verse for eleven or fourteen.

  164. What does it say? So, okay, let's read from nine now.

  165. When he had spoken these things, while they watched, he

  166. was taken up, and a cloud received him out of

  167. their sight. And while they look stayfastly towards heaven. As

  168. he went up, behold two men stood by them in

  169. white apparel, who also said, men of Galilee, why do

  170. you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who

  171. has taken up from you into heaven, will so come

  172. in like a manner as you saw him go to heaven.

  173. Right.

  174. Then they returned to Jerusalem from the Mount cork Olivert,

  175. which is near Jerusalem, a seventh day's journey. And when

  176. they had entered, they went up into the upper room

  177. where they were staying Peter, James, John, Andrew, Phillip, Thomas Bartholomew,

  178. and Matthew, James the son of el Faeus, and Simon

  179. the Zealid, and Judas the son of James.

  180. This all counted.

  181. We want to call in prayer and supplication with the

  182. women and the Mary, the mother of Jesus, and with

  183. his brothers.

  184. So this was so.

  185. Remember I said, we're going back to basics. You want

  186. to learn anything something you got to go to the foundation.

  187. You know, sometimes a good question to ask ourselves is,

  188. you know, when we get to modeled in our life

  189. and we get too deep in our life and maybe

  190. we get to advance, then we kind of forget the past.

  191. We kind of forget. You know, if you're in a marriage, you're.

  192. Like, oh, you know you you know, my wife always

  193. like me, and then my husband, and then you kind

  194. of forget why you're marriagae ither in the first place.

  195. You forgot the girl that when she fling her hand

  196. the wind, then you smell a way of follow me shampoo.

  197. Then your heart was ticking. You forgot, and it's good

  198. to go back to the basics. Now, it's good to

  199. go back to that, you know the way my wife

  200. don't youse follow me just I don't know what branch

  201. she uses.

  202. So what happened? Jesus ascended?

  203. So okay, So if you read before that, okay, you

  204. will read that Jesus is alive. Do you know that

  205. Jesus was around for forty days after he came a

  206. life back again?

  207. Do you know that he was around for a long time?

  208. You know why why was he around?

  209. Because forty days no no, no, Why was he there

  210. for forty days? Right? He was around for forty days,

  211. teaching and reminding the disciples. Hey, guys, remember what I

  212. used to say to you before I died on the

  213. cross and you saw me dining across and now I'm

  214. alive again. Remember what I used to say to you

  215. that you will be my friends and you know the

  216. work of God. Remember what I used to say to

  217. you that I will die for the since some men.

  218. Remember what I say to you about communion. Remember, for

  219. forty days he was reminding them. He didn't just okay, bye, guys, ascension,

  220. No forty days, no, think about it.

  221. Think about it.

  222. So I love God's word because God is so practical.

  223. Because he was trying to encourage them. He was trying

  224. to say, yay, I know you'll abandoned me, I know

  225. you're which they did. Even Peter abandoned him. Everybody left him,

  226. you know, right one day portrayed. Everybody left, but he

  227. came back, and he came back to restore the disciples.

  228. He came back to restore them, right, and he said,

  229. remember the helper that will come, But I have to

  230. go so that the helper will come. Who's the helper,

  231. Holy Spirit right, God's presence.

  232. Right, so I have to go.

  233. So wait, don't leave anywhere where specific instructions. Don't leave,

  234. don't go anywhere, don't don't stop stopped, don't go and

  235. start doing me wait for the helper to arrive.

  236. Wait here.

  237. And they waited in the upper room, one hundred and

  238. twenty of them. Kind of tells you that there were

  239. more disciples. Where did this one hundred and twenty come? Well,

  240. I'm guessinger. I didn't do deep study yet, but I

  241. remember seventy left and left trophon me, So I think

  242. this one hundred and twenty was also part of the

  243. seventy that left, I think, and more that came here

  244. and there roughly okay, because how can you have one

  245. hundred and twenty people in the upper room because there

  246. was the number given. No, one hundred and twenty people

  247. decided to do prayer service, decided.

  248. To do pray four times.

  249. They don't know they were there for I don't know

  250. how they were how long they were there, but they

  251. were there, and he was during the festival, and God said,

  252. pray right, pray, and then the Holy Spirit came. Can

  253. I say that the first revival happened when the Holy

  254. Spirit came.

  255. Can I say that.

  256. Where Peter was anointed and he preached the word, he

  257. preached what Jesus taught him for the past three years

  258. and what he saw, and then the first Church was formed.

  259. Let's read on what happened next chapter two, verse one

  260. to thirteen. So in the day of the Pentecost had

  261. fully come. They were all, we want a call in

  262. one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven

  263. as of a rushing mighty wing, and he filled the

  264. whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to

  265. them divided tongues as of fire, and one set upon

  266. each of them. And they were all filled with the

  267. Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as

  268. the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling in Jerusalem,

  269. Jews development from every nation under heaven. And when this

  270. sound occurred, the multitude came together and were confused because

  271. everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they

  272. were all amazed and marvels, saying to one another, look

  273. are not all these who speak Gallians? And how is

  274. it that we hear each in our own languages? In

  275. which were both. You know how interesting that line is.

  276. How come you got different people from different Jews staying

  277. in different areas all in the one place at that time, right,

  278. I think we got deeper study. You also read that

  279. that moment in time was kind of like a celebration

  280. where people came from everywhere back to Jerusalem. It's kind

  281. of like where we had Chinese new Air, where we

  282. came from everywhere to wherever we are at and some

  283. of us go back and they were marveling. They were like, hey,

  284. all these were from Klangon. How come they can speak

  285. Australian English. Then now we get a joke. It's fine,

  286. And how is it that we hear each in our

  287. own language in which we were born. Passians myths and elementites.

  288. Of course they were speaking tongues and they were proclaiming

  289. the wonderful works of God in tongues that they didn't get.

  290. But it was in all these different languages.

  291. Right, Passians means element is just dwelling in Mesopotamia, Julia, Cappadocia, Ponte,

  292. in Asia, Furuyjia, from failure Egypt. The parts of Libya

  293. are joining Sirene visitors from Rome. Both Jews and proselyzes,

  294. Christians Arabs. We hear them speaking our own tongues, the

  295. wonderful works of God. So they were all mazed and perplexed,

  296. saying to one another, whatever could this mean? Others mocked

  297. and said they are full of new wine. So when

  298. revival happens, friends, there will be those that marvel. When

  299. revival happens in your life, there will be those that marvel.

  300. Wah, how come you? How come you? How come this happened?

  301. How come? Wow? Holy way, powerful desimony, awesome dose that marvel.

  302. And there will be those that mock.

  303. Show bo, show me, show me, show me, no, lie

  304. you bluff and now Christian righte, Christian bluff and right.

  305. There will be those that mock. You got to know, no,

  306. I'm I'm telling you so that you're aware. Sorry, you

  307. won't get discouraged when people mock your revival? How why

  308. suddeny so holy Ah, last year can do all these things?

  309. Now? Suddenly suddenly suddenly.

  310. Holiah, When VI what happens in your life, there will

  311. be those that marvel, and there'll be those that you

  312. got to know that you're going to get two ends

  313. of the coin. Hopefully you get more marveling, more marveling

  314. than less mocking. But if you get more mocking, know

  315. that God is there. Know that is small purpose. Right,

  316. So two happened. A crazy thing happened, but there were

  317. two responses. So, friends, when the Spirit of God revives

  318. our hearts, the Holy Spirit took over, That's what happened.

  319. Then the pentacost, the Holy Spirit just took over.

  320. Amen. And then what happened X one.

  321. It says, but you shall receive power when the Holy

  322. spirits come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to

  323. me in Jerusalem, in all of Judea and Samaria, and

  324. to the end of the earth. So the clarity that

  325. we have from Christ when he was around for the

  326. forty days, right, and he was again doing revision with

  327. all the guys. Remember, please don't forget that. Please remember

  328. the Spirit of God will come and you will be

  329. my witnesses. And then what happens, friends, what happens? Well,

  330. the clarity is that when the Spirit of God moves

  331. in our lives, there will be transformation happening. Transformation will happen,

  332. Transformation in what area, Transformation in your bodies, healing, transformation

  333. in your conduct, transformation in your speech, transformation in the

  334. way you think. So when truly God's spirit comes into

  335. your life, these things will change. I've heard many testimonies.

  336. All my father used to be like this, my mother

  337. used to be I remember reclearly my grandma right the way.

  338. I love her to wits, you know. And she was

  339. the one that raised me up when I was young.

  340. But I remember when I was growing up, I was

  341. neutral Switzerland, but everyone else that was not Switzerland got

  342. the taste of her negging.

  343. And I kid you not. She's a that person that

  344. cannet you to death. I'm serious. She can get you

  345. to death. Okay, it's quite bad, right, But.

  346. She got saved before my granddad. I thought my granda

  347. will get safe first, because he was the chill guy,

  348. you know, more open to listen.

  349. But my grandma's the one who gotta say. I'm like, Lord,

  350. you must be real. You know. If she can get safe,

  351. everyone can get safe. Right. Her neighbor reached out to

  352. her Clang Chinese Methodist church. Right, she got safe.

  353. One hundred and eighty degree change, one hundred and day degree.

  354. That was my testimony. How many times I've heard of

  355. testimonies or people change when they receive Christ.

  356. Not perfect, still got a problem, but transform not one.

  357. Hundred percent, because the Bible says you are continuously being

  358. worked to perfection in our men, because we are still

  359. on this earth, and we still have flesh, and we

  360. still lean to the flesh. Right, but there's transformation. Let's

  361. read on X chapter two, verse forty four. Are you

  362. guys catching something? I hope you are okay, because we're

  363. doing a study on WHI it's revival, right, those things

  364. will happen right X two forty to forty seven X

  365. two forty or forty seven and with many other words.

  366. He testified, and it's all that I'm saying, be saved

  367. from this perverse generation. This is what Paul said. He

  368. testified on Christ. He testified on Christ did right. It

  369. was a supernatural thing that happened. Then those who gladually

  370. received his word were baptized, and that day about three

  371. thousand souls were added to them. It means also that

  372. there were those that didn't receive the word yet. I

  373. used the word yet that because we still believe they can, right.

  374. So when we look at the three thousand, it's as

  375. easier to know. Okay, guys, I preach our three thousand

  376. people here or no, there were probably more people than

  377. three thousand, probably more, but only three thousand accepted, meaning

  378. that if if like all you guys here will preach,

  379. you know, maybe the first message appreis to you half

  380. of you or mey one. You didn't expecive how many

  381. are okay, but a number of you will not believe yet, right,

  382. So it's very interesting, you know, when you go deeper,

  383. because we always think that when we've ever happened, everybody

  384. will believe, everybody will actually no, no, there is still

  385. this point where God still allows or God gives us

  386. free will that if you want to reject me, you can.

  387. When my highlight thing this is Ray but wants to

  388. understand that because we can actually reject God one, we

  389. can actually reject the things that God wants to do

  390. in our life. On you can one, I don't know

  391. whether anybody will tell you or not. You know, sometimes

  392. we talk about the wonderful message or the gospel, but

  393. the gospel can reject it or no. So sometimes the

  394. question is not about whether the gospel is effective. Sometimes

  395. I feel the question is whether are we receiving of

  396. the gospel or are we a little bit rejecting gospel,

  397. because we have to receive the Gospel fully, and then

  398. we will experience transformation in our lives. Friends, I hope

  399. you catch that. So what does he say says here?

  400. Then those who glat to received were baptized, and the

  401. day about three thousand souls were added. And they continued

  402. said roughly in the apostles, doctrine and fellowship, in the

  403. breaking of bread and prayers. Then fear came upon every soul,

  404. and mean in wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

  405. Not all who believed were together, and all things in common.

  406. They would transformed before that. Maybe they were planning to

  407. open a business before that. Maybe they were planning I

  408. don't know really yah plans. But they were planning different things.

  409. But they experienced this wonderful thing that happened. They experienced

  410. such a transformation, right, and they had all things in common,

  411. and so their possessions and goods and divided them among

  412. all us anyone had needed. So continuing daily in one

  413. accurt in the temple and breaking of bread or house

  414. to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity

  415. of heart, praising God and having favor with all people,

  416. and the Lord added to the church daily those who

  417. were being safe. Of course, this happened two thousand years ago.

  418. First hold two thousand too. Now the church looks a

  419. little bit different, okay, because we live.

  420. With our faith right, and we have an understanding and

  421. expression of this.

  422. Actually house to house homesore, breaking up bread, right, communion,

  423. that's what we did, fellowship one another. I just had,

  424. you know, breakfast with tim Quan just now, and I

  425. see the host eating fellowship.

  426. Hey, it's all pouchich, no praising God, wors shit.

  427. Don't minus that off your your Sunday even you know,

  428. fellowship after right, and they continue to stay fastly in

  429. the pussus doctrine. Right of course, last time, got no

  430. Bible to give you. And then worse come later on

  431. they make it in Latin only then they make it exclusive. Now,

  432. oh my goodness. You can download Bible now for free

  433. if you want to. But are we walking state fastly

  434. in the Word of God? That's the question. Is irony

  435. about human beings? Know, the nearer you stay there, later

  436. you are. The further you stay, the earlier you are.

  437. Whatever that's super convenient, you kind of don't do it.

  438. One. But the things that are really hard, you will

  439. that I do it. One.

  440. It's very funny. People are very funny. I'm just hiring

  441. this for us to.

  442. Just take notre of it.

  443. So a community of believers friends had their lives transformed,

  444. and there are two clear indicators. I believe as a

  445. church that we will be transformed if we experienced revival

  446. because they had favor among all men and God is

  447. glorified in the end. I feel these are two clear

  448. indicators of a transformed life. Right, So the question I

  449. have is are we displaying this truth in our own

  450. lives and in our church?

  451. Do we have favor?

  452. That's like searching for favor is very important. I always

  453. look for God's favor, right, Gods aren't worry that favor?

  454. Yeah? I know God? Is se you with me? God?

  455. Do you are you here? Or is he a major struggle?

  456. You know, because sometimes we make decisions based on not

  457. based on what God wants us to do. We make

  458. decisions based on our own self. And then when we

  459. don't have favor and we face trouble and then who

  460. I'm teaching your some things and in the end God

  461. is glorifying. No, not not ersenal that's a very good indicator. No,

  462. so when someone gives testimony, right, I ask you judge testimony,

  463. don't judge, don't judge. Okay, we all glorify God when

  464. your life is transformed, our friends. This is why I

  465. believe it. Of course I've seen it. Remember my my

  466. hearted leaders shared this with me last time when I

  467. just started off, you know, in church. And of course

  468. we encourage you. Gole the disciple, you know, and we

  469. still do. We still do enourage your disciple. And I

  470. remember a hot leader and the time probably I was

  471. very rough around it ages, not a little bit, but

  472. very rough around it ages. And I'm like, oh, Kenna,

  473. can disciple, I am not as good as you know.

  474. We think I'm not as good as this pastor or

  475. that person, or as nice as this person. I have

  476. enough what's the word enough resources as this other person?

  477. Can I or not be Guys, I'm not there yet.

  478. I remember, I say, Elvin, don't worry you, just run

  479. after Christ, because those who run after Christ will exude

  480. a fragrance from their life that people will find attractive.

  481. You'll catch that you don't have to do anything to

  482. make yourself look nicer, more handsome, than Actually even Jesus

  483. himself was the most plain looking guy ever, but he

  484. was the most attractive person that thousands flocked to see him.

  485. That's Christ.

  486. Okay, he doesn't look like how he looked like today,

  487. you know all the look like like some rock star

  488. wearing white all the time. It's very good at this

  489. impression now. But they say that he look like the

  490. most normal person ever. Think of the most normal person.

  491. You can't think because we cannot imagine. But yet his

  492. life exuded fragrance? Friends, are our lives exuding fragrance? The

  493. fragrance of God? Now being poetic with the way I

  494. say it, but do you have favor with people?

  495. Right? That's that's a good indicator of revival? Right?

  496. And are we glorifying God daily with the things that's

  497. happening and lit because we know that he's the one

  498. that is causing it? Not? No, this mea this me

  499. is all me. I'm a self made man. I really

  500. don't like that word. I know somebody will use that

  501. word self made man, got no involved law if you're

  502. a self made man a woman. I'm not a self

  503. made man. I admit all the I mean sign If

  504. you're shy because people say, oh, you know he's this

  505. is dead. Friends, honestly, are I give all God all

  506. the creditler I give all God all the credit. Right,

  507. I give God. I even give him the credit for

  508. creating me the way I am, all messy and all.

  509. And it's only true.

  510. Following after Jesus, running after Jesus, that there's transformation in

  511. my life. I can testify about that. It's only true

  512. him no other way. You know, as I reflect about

  513. my own personal life, there are many ways it could

  514. have gone. Really, there are many ways he could have

  515. gone in other areas. You know, I could have found myself,

  516. you know, I grabbing clang. I didn't have a good

  517. experience with family from a very young age, already sort

  518. of like well, personally it's my own issue, okay, put

  519. family as secondary, you know. And the challenge was, you know,

  520. thankfully I had the church there. Honestly, as I think,

  521. I'm like, well, thankfully as a church. I actually had

  522. one argument my mom before, mother complaining, why go church

  523. every day? Whit go church every weekend? Now you know

  524. you're too long in.

  525. Church, serving chest too much?

  526. Then I quite die, do I look at my mom, say, Mom,

  527. you ready me be in church or you ready, me

  528. clubbing outside my friends?

  529. Then she cannot say anything else. You know.

  530. Well, I tell you I think it was God that

  531. preserved me, you know, because I cannot think of anyone

  532. else to give credit to. Unfortunately, my parents did their best, right,

  533. and I also made a lot of miss six when

  534. I was young, which I'm not proud of. But I

  535. think all that I'm experiencing now really is true God's

  536. transformity power.

  537. Right.

  538. Yeah, for some friends here, you're know what I'm talking

  539. about because you know me from Adam how perfect I

  540. am as a person.

  541. But you can change because God is there few Amen.

  542. So are we.

  543. Displaying this fruit or not? You don't have to be

  544. perfect enough. I'm not one hundred percent perfect, right, but

  545. we can get better.

  546. So do we have this fruit?

  547. You know I'm sharing all these things. Always sit down? No, no, no, no,

  548. we're getting somewhere.

  549. Do I have the fruit?

  550. Do I have favored people? Or everywhere I go and

  551. people don't like to hang on me at all?

  552. Right? Or what am I proclaiming my mouth? Am I

  553. glorifying God? See? Yah?

  554. You kind of glorify God? Pretend one I don't know.

  555. Let you'll catch this. It's very easy to put on

  556. a mask and say, oh, pray Scot, praise God, Praise God.

  557. But if you don't mean it, doesn't mean anything. You

  558. know how to say praise God and mean it when

  559. you really mean it? Now, like when Leehue stands up

  560. here and tessify, you know she means it. It's not

  561. just it's not just for show. No why because she

  562. experienced God.

  563. That's why she can.

  564. So how do you glorify God? You got to experience God, law,

  565. how do you experience God? You got to experience a

  566. life of revival? How do you experience life wherever?

  567. Come? Let's talk about it here.

  568. If we don't have these indicators in our life, fruitfulness, transformation,

  569. that means for the past twenty years, you're still the

  570. same person now, But yet you profess Jesus.

  571. It be hard for me to believe that you've got

  572. Jesus in your life. La.

  573. Honestly, not not to judge you, La, but I think

  574. anybody who works with Christ will have to change on

  575. whether you like it or not, because God will change you.

  576. So what do you do? Then?

  577. Well, go back to basics on Can I break it

  578. down a little bit more? About going back to basics.

  579. What is our faith, friends, It is a relationship with Christ. Right,

  580. can we go to uh, back to basics before after this?

  581. So back to basics. The fundamental thing about back to

  582. basics is connecting back to our creator, connecting back to

  583. our creator, right, connecting back to our creator, building or

  584. rebuilding the relationship. I think all you here being in

  585. a relationship, for you, you can't understand this, right, when

  586. we want to build a relationship means you don't really

  587. know the person yet, maybe you kind of know the

  588. person but you don't really know the person. You don't

  589. really talk to the person, right, And then you've got

  590. to build a relationship correct, so that it can be close.

  591. But for some of us, maybe we already know God.

  592. Maybe when we're young, we really going on God, we

  593. really experienced Him in many wonderful ways. Maybe we went

  594. for mission treatment, we did all kinds of things and

  595. we were so excited. But the older we get, the

  596. more we feel like, let the young people do it.

  597. Then we need to rebuild. Because right, friends, as a Christian,

  598. right as a believer, right understanding the Bible, right, I

  599. don't think God. There's so many stories in the Bible

  600. about how people who are like super advancing their age

  601. still serve God with all your hearts. So you read

  602. about Caleb who's eight. He hasn't got his promise yet.

  603. He got kids and green kids Saidiyah, and Joshua is saying, Caleb,

  604. you wait here a lot in the camp. Let your

  605. your descendants go and you know, take over this mountain.

  606. It's a time you take all this mountain. Let them

  607. take aw this mountain. You chill here to receive. He said, No,

  608. as long as I got stranged my bones, I'm still

  609. gonna go and get it. And when I hear that

  610. straight I'm like, man, I want this straight man. When

  611. I'm seventy ady, I said, I'm still gonna self go

  612. it all my heart. I'm still gonna give my best. Yes,

  613. I mean not be able to do a lot of things.

  614. Recognizing that you are not as strong as the younger ones.

  615. You know, like you cannot go for a revel tour,

  616. don't sleep and then come back. You got here, you

  617. stay there and you come back. You know you cannot

  618. go in last time. Maybe you're younger, you can now

  619. we cannot, you know, like you know what, let me

  620. stay back here I got be more funds. I'll just

  621. sleep and then I'll fly back tomorrow. You know, right,

  622. But it doesn't mean I can also have got it

  623. all my heart? Right, You got to rebuild that really

  624. his ship because God has so much more stuff for you.

  625. As long as you're still on these earth, friends, as

  626. long as you're still breeding, God wants you to serve him.

  627. It's just that in your capacity, and maybe you got

  628. more wisdom. Maybe don't teach the younger fellas? Are tach

  629. the younger fellas because when you're young, you look at

  630. all the fleshy stuff, But when you're older, you kind

  631. of see things for what is what it is, and

  632. you will know what is important and what it's not

  633. important because you've been there before.

  634. Right, So how do you rebuild? How do you reconnect?

  635. Can you go back? Read your Bible?

  636. Pray every day, pray every day, Pray every day, read

  637. your Bible, pray every day if you want to. You're

  638. never grow up in Sunday School. Sorry, sorry, sorry, I apologize.

  639. Has so simple in here, pray, worship, keeping.

  640. God's word and devotion. Yes, yes, yes, How do you

  641. revive your heart? Get back to basics? It's so simple by.

  642. So hot right coast, waking up one hour earlier to

  643. read your Bible. It's so hot right cost your phone

  644. will be ringing because the latest news to come out,

  645. and it's so important that you read it, because you

  646. got exam tomorrow and you've got no time to study,

  647. and you have to study.

  648. How do you reconnect? Friends? It's so simple, by so hot.

  649. It's so boring.

  650. It's so boring, by so important. Prayer, worship, God's word

  651. in our hearts, devotion. Jesus wakes up every morning every morning.

  652. We all follows of Christ, right, so we should follow

  653. what you dola.

  654. He showed the way.

  655. Every morning he wake up one hour, he pray one hour,

  656. he reconnects with God.

  657. He's got the Father right for the rest of the day.

  658. That's why he can do the things you do. Right.

  659. What about us, friends, we have the Holy spray in

  660. our lives. We should go back to basics. If the

  661. fruit is not showing, then we've got to fix something.

  662. If we you know, because I believe that if we

  663. are connected with God, if we are if we have

  664. a consistent quiet time, if we are connected with God

  665. in prayer, in worship, we understand humans I'll say, if

  666. we have a relationship, we've got a deep relationship with God,

  667. you will change friends. He will not allow you to

  668. be in your sin. He will not allow you to

  669. be in your flesh. He will not allow you to

  670. be angry. He will not allow you to say all

  671. the things that we used to say because of our

  672. past and now.

  673. No, he will not allow you. Because He will heal you.

  674. He will help you.

  675. He will give you wisdom, He'll give you favor. He

  676. will change you to be perfect when you work in him.

  677. But when we don't, when we reject God, when things

  678. start becoming convenient, when we take our faith lightly, then

  679. a little bit hard to show the fruit, really a

  680. bit hard. You know, I'm not judging anybody here in

  681. like oh you you no, no, no, no, I'm helping

  682. us think because we talk about revival. What is your

  683. picture of revival? Do you know that a lot of

  684. pictures of revival? And I remember growing up and the

  685. picture of revival is well, a big stadium, all Christian?

  686. What should be helen?

  687. We are you man? Why I know we do all that?

  688. Then after to go back home, then how shry your

  689. wife complain about your boss? Back to life, back to life,

  690. back to reality. So what's the benefit?

  691. Okay? I get you, I get you.

  692. Okay, you're telling us the indicator about revival and you

  693. know how to identify if we are revived and then

  694. what to do.

  695. But what's the benefit? God? Benefit? And not? Go on?

  696. Let me share the benefit you I got four clear benefits. Okay,

  697. what's the benefit.

  698. To me and my family? My family? Well, yes, your family.

  699. If I'm revived in my spirit, what's the benefit if

  700. I'm led by God rather than myself?

  701. What is the benefit? Right? A lot of times something

  702. I also think right, the shallowness.

  703. Of Christians are He said, Oh you know, if I'm revival,

  704. go ask me to go to Timba.

  705. To reach out to the people.

  706. No, friends, God doesn't want you to do something so

  707. hot yet yet, naw, you got to do the simple

  708. thing first. You got to reach out to your family first.

  709. They're even harder than timaktu. God wants you to do

  710. that first. Go on to reach out to your friends first.

  711. Gods you to.

  712. First thing that you experience is abundant life. How do

  713. you define abundant life?

  714. Oh?

  715. Lo heir lo he hello sanga your year, right, that's

  716. what Chinese thing. You know, abundant means more than meaning

  717. a lot, to the point, can we stuff or success

  718. my bank account a lot of money? Abandoned life. I've

  719. heard this definition, but and I kind of like it.

  720. I you know, and I hope I'm paraphrasing it correctly

  721. because I heard it from my leader that real respect.

  722. Abundant life is having what God wants from me and

  723. experiencing what gones One wants for me in my life

  724. and being fulfilled. That's abundant life. Not necessarily more money,

  725. not necessary, more everything dot dot dot dot, because sometimes

  726. you know what the saying, more money, more problems true,

  727. not right? Something small things doesn't mean good. No, but

  728. abandant life John ten ten. The teeth does not come

  729. except to steal, to kill, to destroy. I have come

  730. that they may have life, and they have it more abundantly. Friends,

  731. when we revive, we experience abundant life. Right, your life, women,

  732. you're so boring anymore? You know your wom you're so

  733. dragging anymore? Now you're feeling drag Ela put God in

  734. the picture. Do you think you'd be draggy after that?

  735. It'd be super exciting, right it is?

  736. How so my boss.

  737. You know, no by guys in the picture. If Sonny,

  738. God gives you a heart to reach out to your boss,

  739. you think you're boring?

  740. No, very exciting.

  741. Romans thirty seven says, Yet in all these things we

  742. are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. How

  743. many of you are gonna have a challenging week, Just

  744. raise your hand and me challenging.

  745. Chale chenue hey.

  746. Romans eight thirty seven says, Yet in all these things

  747. we are more than conquerors through Him who love us.

  748. So can you first remember that God love you? And

  749. however challenging your week is gonna be, you can conquer.

  750. Is it gonna be boring? Are you dreading that meeting?

  751. You better be excited, man, because God loves you. You

  752. know He loves you so much. You're gonna conquer the meeting.

  753. He will give you the insight, He will lead you.

  754. But you gotta ask him. If you don't pray, how

  755. you're gonna know what to do. If you don't read

  756. the word, how you're going to know how to act?

  757. If you don't have devotion you've got, how is he

  758. gonna speak to you? Because you might be closer to

  759. the devil than to God. Ooh, which voys are you

  760. listening to? Next thing? You have benefit or and I

  761. really love this benefit. Second Tassonian Street sixteen says, now

  762. made a lot of peace himself, Give you peace always

  763. in every way. The Lord be with you all. You

  764. know how important piece is in our life. It's so important,

  765. especially in today's day in age right where mental health

  766. is a major issue.

  767. It is very suffering to live in that.

  768. No emotionally, I can tell you that, right, and my

  769. I don't know, maybe it's me la a very very

  770. sensitive to this nowadays that I want piece in my

  771. life at all times. So I'm very scared of drama now,

  772. not to say that I am not afraid of it

  773. because I'm not a very confrontational, but I don't like

  774. it because it's like I've already had enough drama when

  775. I was young. I don't want to live the rest

  776. of my life with drama. Right, last time we were

  777. in younger, you and your advice people, right, and this son,

  778. probably you're better catch this a you know, advise them

  779. and then they disagree. And then now last time, I'm

  780. like a peace, don't lie, You're gonna last time I

  781. will work hard for it, you know, to get you

  782. to agree in Nawa or ala. Do you suffer then

  783. you come back? Okay, I don't want to say much.

  784. I did say what I need to say. You go

  785. do right after you suffer? You cry, you are and

  786. I don't wry. I won't even say I thought you so.

  787. I just isn't there there there now? You're not? Right? Okay?

  788. Peace in your life? Okay? Peace is so important. Amen.

  789. That's the second benefit Rember benefits. Huh oh, why should

  790. I want to live a life revive? First, it is abundance,

  791. not abundance the way we understand, buturdnance in the way

  792. God wants to give you. Second is peace in your life.

  793. Are you going through a challenging time right now in

  794. your life? Are you going through constant worry? When you

  795. are revived in the spirit, you have peace? Right because

  796. what feels your thoughts is your own thoughts? Is your

  797. own worries or is God spirit? We got to learn

  798. how to do these, friends, are you guys?

  799. Okay?

  800. Third benefit my second last son for now, I'm sure

  801. there are more by toy right following God's will, being

  802. led by the spray of God. Right let's read Romans

  803. eight twelve seventeen says Deafore, brethren, we adapt us not

  804. to the flesh, to leave according to the flesh. For

  805. if you leave according to the flesh, you will die.

  806. But if the spirit you put to death the deeds

  807. of the body, you will live. For as many as

  808. are led by the spray of God, these are sons

  809. of God. For you did not receive the spray of

  810. bondish again to fear by receive the spirit of adoption,

  811. by whom we cry out Abbah, Father, the spray himself

  812. best witness without spirit, that we are children of God.

  813. And if by children, then heirs heirs of God, and

  814. join heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him,

  815. that we may also be glorified together. Galatians five sixteen

  816. eighteen says I say, then walk in the spirit, and

  817. you shall not fulfill the loss of the flesh. For

  818. the flesh lost against the spirit, and the spirit against

  819. the flesh. And these are contrary to one another, so

  820. that you do not do the things that you wish.

  821. But if you're led by the spirit, you're not under

  822. the law. If you're led by the spirit, you're not

  823. under the law. Wow, above the law? Did I read

  824. that correctly?

  825. I think I did. Whether you led by Are you.

  826. Led by the law or under the law, let by

  827. your own flesh, or are you led by the spirit

  828. that came from the one who wrote the law. That's

  829. why you're above law, not because the law is not there,

  830. but you're a birth law because you won't break it

  831. because you're led by the spirit. You'll catch that because

  832. God is the one that mixes righteous. Why follow God's will?

  833. Designing small for the young people? I think once we

  834. reach a certain age, we don't really worry about purpose,

  835. worry about the end of our lives and all. But

  836. when you're younger, you or what am I gonna do

  837. it with my life? Or what I'm gonna study? What

  838. I'm gonna work? What am I gonna do? But I

  839. don't want to do? Why am I got called for? Well,

  840. if you are revived in your heart and if you're

  841. following God's will step by step, day by day, then

  842. you you will have purpose in your life.

  843. And that's powerful.

  844. You know, if you just work for money and there's

  845. no purpose, people can't lose steam one no matter how

  846. much money you earn. I've seen that many many times.

  847. That's that purpose is so important. But the only way

  848. you'll know your purpose, friends, if that is that you

  849. follow God's will. Are we following and walking in the

  850. will of God? How do we follow and what in

  851. the way of God? If we're walking and being led

  852. by the spirit. If you're being revived, you know, how

  853. are you going to do that? So revival is important.

  854. One last benefit. You remember talking about benefits, right, So

  855. I hope I convince you. One last benefit, which I

  856. really like and I haven't seen it fully yet, is.

  857. Science and wonders. You will see science and wonders.

  858. Because x Chapter two vers for the Tree says, then

  859. fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs

  860. were done through the apostles. Jesus couldn't do the things

  861. he did back in his hometown because he was not

  862. recognized by them. He was recognized by them as the

  863. cup the Son, and they couldn't believe. They couldn't believe

  864. that he was the son of God. They couldn't believe

  865. that this guy that used to play with me in

  866. my backyard was the one that was gonna save mankind.

  867. They couldn't believe so he couldn't do much there, but

  868. do everywhere else where Christ walked where they were anticipating.

  869. Even the lady with the issue of blood.

  870. She was being strong, you know, and He's like, all

  871. I need to do is touch the helm of his

  872. garment and I'll be healed. What does it tell us, friends?

  873. He tells us of intention, It tells us of expectation.

  874. It tells us that all we need to seek God

  875. is to seek him, because the Word says, knock and

  876. the door be opened to you.

  877. Ask and you'll be answered. Seek and you will find.

  878. It's just that it is that simple. What is revival

  879. in our church? Believe?

  880. We believe that revival really starts with the heart, not

  881. with a big band, not with her. I mean, all

  882. those things are good, can I be honest? It is good,

  883. It feels good and all and can God use that can?

  884. But what happens after day is important.

  885. No.

  886. I remember when I was growing up and we used

  887. to look forward to to church camps or camps, you know,

  888. because you get very on fire for God. And I

  889. remember a few camps later, I was also convicted.

  890. You got a cam.

  891. You you know what camps work. And by the way,

  892. I will put a picture XPJA. We are planning a

  893. retreat soon in September, right, Okay, I'm gonna get doctor

  894. Jason Cours.

  895. He's the one day's planning it.

  896. So please September, try to keep your days, you know, open,

  897. right one weekend we will go right and we work

  898. the details aut right now and we'll go a bit further,

  899. a bit go and look at the beach.

  900. Right.

  901. But Cam's work because there is focused on as mission

  902. treat White. Why why oh I can see miracles in

  903. Mission Treap but not back here. Well, it's as ressing,

  904. but it's just focused. It's just to prepare for Mission

  905. Treap because it's an actual thing that you have to

  906. go through and be careful of.

  907. You gotta really prepare our.

  908. Hearts camp, same thing three days, two nights, four days,

  909. three nights only church you need.

  910. You know.

  911. Don't you think I'll move? I think I'll move. Does

  912. that mean that God's only God only moves in Cam?

  913. No, what does it mean?

  914. It means that God will move when there's expectation. God

  915. will move when's focused. God will move when we're hungry

  916. for him. Does that mean that God can move on Sunday?

  917. He can, but in our hearts expectant because if you

  918. read the signs and wonders, then fear came upon every soul,

  919. and science and wonders were done through the pos I'm

  920. not sure that I'm confident to say Sunday everybody will

  921. be like, ooh, let's get with the programming. I'm not sure,

  922. but maybe it comes all easier because we're all there, right,

  923. you're not distracted.

  924. But friends, my point was Camp's all good.

  925. Events like this are all good, But if it just

  926. gives you the height and it doesn't transform you, and

  927. what's the meaning of it. We may commitments that the alter,

  928. but we don't mean it. There's no follow up, there's

  929. no follow through. But when we talk about revival, it's

  930. not just a revover in an event. No, it's a

  931. revolve of the heart. No, friends, it is the revove

  932. of a heart. Then, no matter what happens after that,

  933. no matter how crazy things get, we still know how

  934. to call upon our God to help us. Revival can

  935. happen here today. Right now, as I think about this,

  936. I ask myself, do I have a revived heart? I

  937. would like to say I have, and I don't need

  938. to have a big event. I don't need a concert.

  939. I don't need.

  940. A joke about your white man Ben to come minister

  941. to me. I can be revived in my room. I

  942. can revive when I come here for pray. I can

  943. be revived when I do my quiet time. That's what

  944. we're talking about. That's what we're talking about, because those

  945. kind of revivels really mean something because you are changed daily.

  946. You progress daily. Yeah, sometimes you fall. Some nights, you

  947. make a mistakes. Then you go back to God and

  948. say God, I'm so sorry, and then tomorrow get better.

  949. God help me in this area of my life, and

  950. then move forward. God, show me the way I'm gonna

  951. marry soon, show me a whish hall. I'm gonna have

  952. a baby soon. What is their names? Have you even

  953. considered things like that? Lord, there's two jobs, yess I do.

  954. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
