-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
The title is new Wine, New Wine Skins.
-
Sorry I didn't bring no wine from Yarra Valley, but anyway,
-
we'll talk about what wine, all right, New Wine, New
-
Wine skins. So mark chapter two, verse eighteen to twenty two. Amen,
-
can we turn to our bibles?
-
If you bought your bibles?
-
If you haven't, I think XTI people might help you,
-
But otherwise good to turn our bible pages.
-
So mark chapter.
-
Two and verse eighteen to twenty two. This is the
-
account where Jesus was asked the big question, okay, cool
-
are you there if you have cool bolair?
-
Okay?
-
So mark chapter two, verse eighteen to twenty two. Just
-
let me read it through first with us. Let's just
-
declaire got to word.
-
So say, they.
-
Said, the disciples of John and of the Pharisees, two
-
different groups.
-
They were fasting. Then they came and they said to Jesus, yo.
-
Jesus, why why do the disciples of John and of
-
the Pharisees fast but your disciples do not fast?
-
And then Jesus turns around and says to them.
-
Hey, can friends of the bridegroom fast well the bridegroom
-
is with them.
-
As long as they.
-
Have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast twenty But
-
the days will come when the bridegroom be taken away
-
from them, and then they were fast in those days.
-
Now. Verse twenty one says, no one shows a piece
-
of unshrunk cloth on an old garment or else the
-
new piece pulls away from the old, and the terror
-
is made worse.
-
Need to, And no one puts a new puts new
-
wine into all wine skins or else the new wine
-
burst the wine skins, and the wine is spilled, and
-
the wine skins are ruined. But the new wine must
-
be put into new wine skins.
-
Amen, the reading of God's word. Amen, hallelujah. Amen. Okay,
-
Now we're not used.
-
To the idea of wine new wine and wine skin. Uh,
-
it's quite foreign. We we we don't live in that
-
in the in that kind of culture. But you just
-
have to think leather. They use leather skins to make
-
to contain wine back then to hold the wine right.
-
So that that's what the new wine into new wine skins.
-
So the picture or the background.
-
We see is we see Jesus probably.
-
Hanging around and and and and these.
-
Guys came and spoke to him because while first, okay,
-
the history about a fast thing in Israel is that
-
there is a mandate fast from the Old Testament, and
-
the mandate fast only happens once a year, did you
-
know that? And that's on the day of Atonement or
-
what we now call yam Kiporo, which is either in
-
September or October it falls around there. So this is
-
the day of a totament where people will repent and
-
you know, seek the low just repent of their sin.
-
And so they would do that.
-
At the day of a tournament where fast thing takes place. However,
-
then in the New Testament, over time they then practice
-
the heart for you know, the desire to fast maybe
-
once a week or whatever that their practices were in
-
their culture, and so they would do that, and it's
-
not a bad thing.
-
It's a good thing to really just cleanse themselves spiritually.
-
It also works physically, and so they would practice that
-
and then they see that you us, I tell you,
-
you see Jesus. Half the story is so come on, guys,
-
he's eating, right, He's eating all the time. At the beach,
-
is eating in the house, is eating everywhere.
-
He's eating. You are the suka mama, he must be mamaking. Okay.
-
So Jesus is always with people and food around the table.
-
So they said, oh, come, you don't do that.
-
And then Jesus then says, hey, you know when the
-
bridegroom is around, nobody fast. So what's he saying? What's
-
he saying? That he's the bridegroom, the capitol b bridegroom,
-
and that his people are his bride. The church is
-
the bride that he walked into the scene where he
-
is the new wine. He's going, he's bringing something new
-
into into what they were used to because he's bringing
-
the new Covenant and and you know the there.
-
Wouldn't be any more.
-
How are we sacrificing of animals to take away the
-
people's sin. Jesus was going to be the sacrificial lamb,
-
then we saying, and so he was coming into that
-
scene and you know, wanting to declare the new covenant.
-
So it's hard. Then they're thinking, what are you talking about?
-
I think when if we were living in that town,
-
if Jesus came, I think we would think that he's
-
a bit crazy because he was not talking the same lingo.
-
As everyone else, So we gotta be careful. We got moves.
-
It may not always look the way you are used to.
-
And they were not used to that conversation. And then
-
he says, hey, you know what, breakgroom's here. They won't
-
fast when he goes they're going to fast, so they'll
-
be thinking, who's the breadegroom? Are you using your breakgroom?
-
And then he moves into the wine skin and the
-
new cloth, et cetera. So I'm gonna pick it up
-
from here, not going too much on history, because I
-
want to sue something about about our theme as well
-
being our revival right, and as we enter into our
-
time of fast thing. I don't want to tell you
-
how to fast what to fast. You've got all that
-
sorted out. I believe you can ask your leaders. But
-
really the wild also understands. And some you do intermittent fasting,
-
which is very healthy for your physical body. But we
-
want to be doing this out of our own hearts,
-
our spirit, allowing ourselves.
-
To draw here to God.
-
This bridegroom has come to us and he's he's calling
-
us into that.
-
Relationship don't forget church. We are his church. We are
-
the bride. Amen, and you want the bride of Christ here? Amen?
-
He hands up bride of Christ. Yeah, we're the bride
-
of Christ.
-
We really are the beautiful bride.
-
God loves his church. He will protect his church. He
-
will teach his church. You will correct his church. You
-
and I must love God's church. Don't have us.
-
You'll talk about this church. That come on, dads, God's church.
-
It's like, if you talk better about me and my.
-
Husband, I don't know.
-
I mean, if I was being badly behaving, then of
-
course I'm so sorry for my wife's behavior. Okay, But
-
if you're just saying things about this is bride, right,
-
I mean, it's bright.
-
He will protect me.
-
But of course if I did misbehavior and I'm so sorry,
-
he'll say I apologize.
-
Maybe you know she wasn't well aday.
-
I don't know what was bugging here, but you know
-
the husband will always protect the bride or his wife,
-
and so be careful.
-
You are God's bride. Here's a bright room watches over you,
-
watches over you.
-
It's calling us, and I want us to come into
-
this time of praying. And if you're giving time to fasting.
-
Whether I usually it would have to be food or
-
something else that you thought about.
-
I feel we should come in to come to the Lord. Amen.
-
And so we're looking at new wine, which represents the
-
Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit's about revival, and a
-
revival is just re firing move of God's Holy Spirit,
-
awakening us up to be more aware, to be more
-
sensitive to hunger for His word, hunger for His presence,
-
to be hungering for God's will. That's what revival means.
-
And so we're coming to the theme of revival. We
-
can't leave the Holy Spirit outside of the theme of revival.
-
Come on, church, Amen. We can't have church like this.
-
You know, this morning up early and pray. I said, Lord,
-
I could just rock up here and things will go clockwork.
-
We can do church because we have a program, but
-
we don't want to program without the Holy Spirit.
-
Come on, I.
-
Don't know why I said, God, I can I can't
-
preach a word, but I can't change all one's life
-
unless you would come, Lord and the Lord, would you
-
go before me?
-
Would you just I'm just saying here, I am Lord.
-
Would you use me? But I can't do church without you.
-
Lord, our church X cannot survive without you. You have
-
been with us as you have started us twenty six years. Lord,
-
continue to abide as we abide.
-
And so I feel we need.
-
To be coming to the Lord, you know, just desiring
-
for the Lord. He is the new wine and the
-
Holy Spirit is the one that brings the revival. Amen.
-
So new wine skin, hey, new wine skins.
-
We don't want to be all wine skin right like?
-
No, I know of our flesh and our outer body
-
will be passing away.
-
Will be.
-
Okay regally, but we can be new wine skins in
-
our spirit, man.
-
With a with a skip and a hop in our spirit. Amen.
-
Outside may look not so elastic luck, but we can
-
have the new wine of.
-
The Holy Spirit. Amen.
-
So my challenge, are we making ready ourselves to be
-
new wine skins?
-
Kamcee?
-
So yeah, are we making ourselves ready to be new
-
wine skins? And right at this twenty one days, that's
-
exactly what you can do. Partners of eggs, you supposed
-
who say yes, let's draw near to God.
-
Amen. So how can we prepare ourselves?
-
And as we enter into the time of seeking the Lord,
-
of reading his word, of bringing things to him laying
-
things down, maybe turning away from our wicked ways, meaning
-
they are things that we keep in our hearts. Come on, people,
-
we keep things in our hearts and don't belong to God.
-
We need a let it go right, we leave it.
-
We gotta repent, we gotta humble our hearts. We seek
-
God's mercy and us his forgiveness. This is why we
-
take the twenty one. Usually it's a forty day lent.
-
They call it forty days walk to the cross, but
-
we cut shot and give you twenty one days. And
-
we want to meet the Lord Amen, remembering what he's
-
done for us.
-
So it's a great time for us as the church.
-
To individually and corporately bring our hearts to the Lord
-
and seek him. So I've tied our sharing today about
-
being this new one and skin about Jesus, our bridegroom
-
is always calling out to us. And I tied it
-
the Psalm fifty one. So would you go with me
-
to Palm fifty one? And we want to draw out
-
from some fifty one? Okay, now, Psalm fifty one, as
-
many of you have read it, the famous Psalm of
-
King David, you know, when he was found out by
-
Nathan the prophet, and you know, he was running away
-
from his sin, running away from his murder that he'd created,
-
stole somebody's wife. And when Prophet Nada it is not
-
just over one two days, it was over time. And finally,
-
you know, Prophet Layden came to him and said, David,
-
this is the story creator one. Really in Cantonese we
-
say waku, I mean drow picture and tell him story
-
or so. So Prophet Nadan had storytelling and tried to
-
tell him a story.
-
So kindly tell him a story so that he could
-
be aware that man, it's me and.
-
Not saying it's you, you know, not like we tell story,
-
you know. And then hour of that story.
-
So kindly he realized, because I think it was eating
-
him up.
-
And so he wrote some fifty one trying out to
-
the lot. And I thought we'd be great if we
-
could draw out and bring our hearts at this time
-
about twenty one days amen. So first one Psalm fifty one,
-
taking from verse ten to twelve, The first thought for us,
-
as we look to the Lord and begin to say
-
no to certain things, as you're humbling ourselves, we come
-
to the bridegroom, we bring our hearts. And what we
-
could prepare ourselves with a new wine skin is to
-
say to the Lord creating me, creating me a clean heart. Amen,
-
creating me a clean heart. Come on, Church, are you
-
with me?
-
Are we awake? Hallelujah? All right?
-
I know it's singing, but say amen or something? Okay,
-
tell me your life all right?
-
Verse ten. We start with creating me a clean heart.
-
Oh God.
-
First point, first part of where we meet is create
-
in me.
-
This is what David said to the Lord. Lord. I
-
know that I've done wrong. Would you create in me
-
a clean heart?
-
And so we can come to the Lord and come
-
to him and say, here's my heart. Father, Lord, create
-
in me a clean heart.
-
Amen.
-
And the best way to live healthy in the physical
-
and in your future is to have.
-
A clean heart.
-
If you have a block heart, hobbies very hot right
-
your heart. Those of you understand block heart blockage. I
-
just heard one of our church partners had to do
-
angio and and Youl grabbed the check and thank god
-
there was no blockages.
-
They just needed to just take care of the heart.
-
When our heart veins get narrowed, and then know it
-
blocks and then then something else happens. We need to
-
take care of our future heart, and we ask God
-
to create in us a clean heart. Leaning our hearts
-
up is to be.
-
Aware of what's been going on inside.
-
Sometimes we didn't even realize we were offended.
-
Sometimes we didn't.
-
Realize that that word that was spoken of our lives
-
some time ago, or somebody hit us so badly that
-
it causes us to run into a cave and have
-
very scared to even do something. And it keep and
-
we keep it in our hearts, and we grow up
-
with it, and you know, and some of us grow
-
old with it, and you know, in your seventies and
-
you're still struggling with things. And in my role as
-
past I see this in older people and I'm trying
-
to figure out somewhere something is clogged up. And it
-
could be a little stone, a little stone of offens fear,
-
fear of what someone said about them. You'll never amount to,
-
you will never able to be. And you know, words
-
can build or kill.
-
Who knows.
-
I might have said some think someone out of my
-
gun jungness and upsetness and all the time, and then
-
you said it, and then you didn't think it affected someone,
-
but it did if I'm aware, I would have to
-
go out and say I'm sorry because it's not you,
-
it's me, and it's a situation. So let it go.
-
It's not important that what I said. It's not important.
-
Get the job done right. So your bosses you deal
-
with are very you know they want the things done.
-
So we ask God to create in us a.
-
Clean heart, whether others feel condemned because you failed God,
-
whether you failed somebody, whether you just yeah, I know
-
you know last summer you did something, or last aurayayah
-
you did something.
-
I know what you did last aarayayah.
-
Okay, so guy his last Christmas, last Christmas, I what
-
my heart and you right away anyway, So what happened
-
can also clog up our system where God's children.
-
We are not don't say the word where God's children?
-
And I ask myself, if I'm God's child, why am
-
I living like I don't have a dead.
-
And I live just.
-
Rubbish and allow rubbish rob me of my.
-
Life as the child of God?
-
Can I remind us today the day you said yes
-
to Jesus personally to come into your life. You say yes, Lord,
-
I want to follow you, and you said yes, Lord,
-
and Jesus in John chapter fourteen, verse twenty three says,
-
when you abiding, or you, when you love me and
-
you keep my word in you, my father loves you,
-
and we will come and make our home with you.
-
You. Hello, you can look into your heart. You go like,
-
who's in here? The king?
-
Hey, tell your neighbor, did you know the kings living
-
in you?
-
Go ahead, tell your neighbor, did you know the kings
-
living in you? Oh, King Jesus, King Jesus. But we
-
forgot that King Jesus is living in you, in me.
-
The Kingdom of God is in you.
-
And yet we live such fleshly lives, lives fill with
-
the flesh desires, and we cannot see how God would
-
work in us, all of us.
-
I want to remind us the Kingdom of God is
-
in us. He said he will make his home.
-
With us the day you said yes to him. But
-
that's why a great twenty one days helps us to
-
create in us again a clean heart. Amen, A create
-
in us a clean heart.
-
So start with the heart. Amen, who's living in your
-
heart today? Hello? Who is living in your heart? Today?
-
I pray you and I have our Master Jesus living
-
in us. Amen, we have our master Lord, the one
-
who is the Lord over our lives, and we do it.
-
We can check our hearts every day, we can do that.
-
But what a great opportunity twenty one days. Let's ask
-
the Lord to create as we surrender. Amen, So David,
-
as even as David said, create in me a clean heart,
-
oh God, Amen, he moved on to say, renew a
-
right spirit, renew a step fast spirit within me.
-
Amen. So first point creating me.
-
And then what happens as you say to the Lord
-
and you surrender, Then you say, Lord, renew a right
-
spirit within me.
-
Renew a stepfast spirit, not a wavy spirit, not a.
-
Wave, but a step fast spirit within me. Renew a
-
right spirit within me.
-
Amen.
-
And we want to have the right spirit, the right attitude,
-
the right spirit. You know how how sometimes we said
-
people are this poss such a good spirit.
-
He has the right spirit. When you have a right.
-
Spirit, you can you can take on any kind of
-
role anytime, anywhere.
-
Amen.
-
When you have a negative spirit, then you will be
-
complaining about everything. The checks not nice, the heck on
-
his dead, that person's fast killing me?
-
All right? All right?
-
Yeah, When you have a negative spirit or a bad
-
spirit due to various reasons, not not just because we
-
went to something not to our own fault. Then we
-
don't have a right spirit. And so we when we speak,
-
we're not even speaking. We're spewing out words that bring
-
death and not life. Hello, don't put your hand on
-
come on, I speak the truth, all right, because I
-
made those mistakes. But I want to create God create
-
in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit,
-
a stead fast spirit towards you. That's what David was saying.
-
A man, would you ask the Lord for steadfast spirit? Like?
-
Lord, I just want to stay close to you.
-
I want to have the right attitude in all things,
-
even if I have to be corrected. I want to
-
have the right what's the word for it? Oh, suddenly,
-
the word is not a posture, a right posture, A
-
posture that is kneeling rather than doing this, the posture
-
of your heart in a humilid is it in a
-
humble posture to learn? Or were ready to just fight
-
the only person we need to fight. That's only one.
-
We have one enemy, and that is the devil, because
-
he comes to steal, kill, and destroy us and rob us.
-
So creating me a clean heart.
-
Firstly, as God creates, and as you desire, you say, Lord,
-
renew a right spirit, a right spirit, a stepfast spirit.
-
Amen.
-
Is to have the right attitude, to carry the right
-
spirit wherever you walk. I pear whenever you walk into
-
your office, when you walk into a room, when you
-
walk into any place, people sense the right spirit in you.
-
They sense the joy of the Lord, they sense encouragement,
-
they sense something different about you.
-
Isn't that awesome? Amen?
-
Remember the story I don't know if you remember all
-
the times running when Rachel Ann had a colleague during
-
in the midst of the thick of the pandemic, and
-
the and the colleague had a baby, gave birth to
-
a baby. The baby refused to stop crying twenty four hours.
-
Mom was going into depression already.
-
The end, there's seventy five percent of our community, the
-
seventy five And the husband just had to call Rachel
-
because Rachel's the boss, and just said, you know, my
-
wife is almost staring her hair out. The baby hasn't
-
stopped crying. Rachel, what do I do? She's really losing
-
it already. She wants to take her life. And no,
-
Rachel said, no, what if we can if you can
-
make it to my home somehow come to the house.
-
This couple who do not know.
-
Jesus, do not worship Jesus, came because in desperation they came.
-
The moment they entered the house of Rachel Ann and
-
Albert Lynn.
-
The child stopped crying. You tell me what that? What
-
is that?
-
The child slept, the mom had a rest up, the
-
drying non stop. Something about us in the right spirit,
-
what we carry people recognize.
-
I hope to carry that. People see me, they.
-
Might say, oh, you know, you're a joyful person, or
-
others you so full of wisdom. Oh you know, you
-
just brought light into the room. You're the life of
-
the party. There's something positive. But it's not just because
-
it's positive thinking. It is the Holy Spirit in us.
-
As God creates a clean heart within us. And we say, Lord,
-
give me a right spirit. Amen. Amen, And I think
-
we don't realize brand and sisters, God gave us a face,
-
the biggest well, one of the fun things people see
-
about us is our face.
-
Ah, do not put your hair out. But how many
-
times have I gone up to a brother or sister
-
and I'm like, and the person just.
-
And then I'm like, Okay, I'm not using my position,
-
but I am your pastor ha right.
-
But I don't say that. I'm like and still susah.
-
I mean I want to have fruit of the spirit, love, patience.
-
Happened yesterday, so happy. I just came back and seen
-
my team novy. You know, I just like lost it. Hello, Hello,
-
damn A small smile. But it could be wrong. We
-
don't realize what we're carrying.
-
And I don't slap me because I'm in the age
-
and the anti category. I think something about aunties. We
-
forgot to smile.
-
Yeah, as we get older, we just carry this face
-
that no time to smile.
-
It's too difficult cause no more less the scene. I'm
-
getting this more and more, and I've tried to explain
-
to the church, don't worry. The Auntie's not angry with you.
-
I think that no one cannot the muscle cannot go up.
-
So but actually, very good heart run.
-
Yeah.
-
So I'm gonna have to speak to our leaders who
-
are women and there in the sixties. They're gonna start. Yeah,
-
but I think the heart's okay. But all I'm saying
-
is Aunties, don't shoot me. I'm just saying it is,
-
what do you carry when you walk into a room?
-
What do I carry when I come into your presence?
-
Do I have a right spirit?
-
My step?
-
Fast?
-
Am I real? Or do I put up a face
-
from me? You'll always get it real. You an't asked
-
me how I am? You get ready for the story.
-
I'm not gonna say I'm fine. No, I'm not fine.
-
That's how I get over it so fastly, fastly. It's
-
because I speak. I let it go. I talk about it.
-
I'm not a shame.
-
I'm not uper pedestal that I cannot be hot. I
-
will not get sick, and I'll never go down. I
-
have been down, and I'm up. If I'm still done,
-
I'll come up.
-
So a right spirit? Can I can? I encourage us
-
remind ourselves. We forget what we forget. I so forget sometimes.
-
In the work and forget, and ever people come in and.
-
Then they look.
-
But I said, how can I be this vessel? How
-
can I be this new wine skin? Lord created me
-
a clean heart and let me have a right spirit.
-
I don't know about men so much, lad, but I'm
-
thinking about the Lady's face tells it all.
-
Sometimes you don't realize it.
-
But my husband looks at my face and he can't
-
read me any things.
-
I'm upset, but I'm not. I'm not upset.
-
I'm busy highway because going up and now, so cannot
-
smile like and I think it's not good to live
-
like that because they're already broken people. They're already messed
-
up lives. Can you smile or at least be ready
-
to smile when when people meet you?
-
We just always feeled as a child of God.
-
We do have problems and we have challenges, but I
-
pray what helps us grow lift up is this.
-
The third point is, let's be filled with God's spirit.
-
Let's and I put in my notes being filed meaning
-
why am I being filed? It's because I'm hungry. I'm
-
hungry for God's spirit. Amen, I'm hungry for God's spirit.
-
Are you hungry? Do you see yourself as a child
-
of God and you just enjoy His presence and his people?
-
Just quick testimony.
-
I may have spoken here, but as I talk about
-
people who are filled with the spirit.
-
There will be a hunger for God.
-
Three years ago or four years ago in the pandemic,
-
if you remember the story, I had a call from
-
because we worked with Sunway Hospital, the doctors will call
-
for pastoral chaplaincy and so I'll get to get over
-
a move because some person is needing help who's a Christian.
-
But in this case, the person who she was speaking
-
to is not a believer. However, the question was I
-
want to know God. She's dying, she's about eighty, she's
-
a foreigner. And the doctor said, Auster, could you just come.
-
I don't know, maybe I can't do it, but you
-
come La since their family said send somebody, okay, we
-
go doctor Jill myself and we meet this French lady
-
and her American husband.
-
She's dying of cancer. She's withdrawn, and she.
-
Just said, I want to know God. How can I
-
know God? Where do we start? I don't know where
-
to start. She speak French, I speak Francois.
-
No, I don't know.
-
I cannot speak French. And I said, let me tell
-
you my story how I came to know Jesus. Jill
-
shaid her story, and I say, you know, it's a
-
simple step is do you believe in God that Jesus
-
came die for your sins? It's Jesus makes a way
-
for you There's no other way, no other name, no
-
other saints, nothing but Jesus is the bridge.
-
He is the way, the truth and the life after this.
-
And she cannot speak by the way, long sentences like
-
me now, and she's breathing, and she said, is it
-
that simple? I have? I have been so rude to God.
-
I've turned I don't even know him. I've lived, lived
-
the wildlife and I and later I know why it
-
was wild, just away from God. French real they believe
-
in God. He's American, maybe at the Catholic background, I
-
don't know.
-
She said, with God accept me. I just need to
-
know that.
-
I want to know God. And I say, yes, he can,
-
he will, He wants you and you can do this
-
right now? Would you want to say the prayer to
-
receive Jesus? She said, yes, husband's unbelieving, but whatever the
-
wife wants, right, and.
-
We lead her in the prayer of salvation.
-
She couldn't understand, not realizing I don't have the similar
-
words in French. But we just say whatever, and she
-
couldn't understand. So we broke it down and she said
-
the prayer very slowly. She said it, she finished, and
-
we said in Jesus name, Amen. And as she said amen,
-
our eyes.
-
Were all closed. She didn't open her eyes.
-
After we prayed for a long time, and I thought
-
she died because I looked up and looked at Jill. Jill,
-
you're the doctor. Tackle she's not breaking up. Amen.
-
No song. Then after like a pause, like a long pause,
-
she opened.
-
Her eyes and I kid you not like I couldn't
-
take a picture for this, I couldn't never draw you.
-
But as she opened up, as she prayed the prayer,
-
you know, we walked into a very lost, dark, hopeless
-
person to this face it.
-
Do you know what's the first thing? She said it
-
to me?
-
And that's why I's believe us. We also must as ourselves.
-
She said, I want to go to church. This is
-
what happens when you get revived. You want to go
-
to church. You don't go to the movies. You go
-
to church. And I said, Ree, I don't think we
-
can take you to church now, but there's a church
-
now near where you.
-
Stay in Cyber. When you're well, you can go. I
-
want to go to church. You want to take it
-
to church now?
-
She can't walk, I said, but soon when you get well,
-
she said, okay. I visited the next day, I brought
-
I bought a Bible. I paid a lot of money
-
for the Bible, big print for old people.
-
Don't like you want small small print and big big words.
-
One that's very expressive.
-
I brought Exclaim magazines, different things I brought, and I.
-
Went, Okay. The whole time we were praying, the husband's bawling,
-
just crying. Did you see you made me cry?
-
No? I didn't, Yes you did, No I didn't. This
-
is holy spirit, this is Jesus.
-
I did.
-
I did the Lord's prayer with that, you know, I said,
-
whatever his name? I said, hey, skip, can you say
-
the Lord's prayer? Thing?
-
I can remember? We say the Lord's pread, presence of
-
God came. What do you expect?
-
Sure you kryla, right, God's presence come. You just don't
-
know what just hit you? Right, it's not the song
-
you say. I had a bad day. No, it was
-
no bad day. Oh I fell in love.
-
I hit by truck. No, did you you was hit
-
by truck? You were hit by God's love that just
-
overwhelmed you. She just hungry, he couldn't. I mean, she
-
was like.
-
Me.
-
The church.
-
Now, some of us don't even want to come to
-
church like once a year Christmas, Hey.
-
Easter, just come like, come like anyway? She hungry.
-
Is what happens when you received Jesus. Amen, Come on,
-
God creates in us a new heart. Amen, and then
-
we'll put a right spirit. She was in the right spirit,
-
and then there was a hunger, you know.
-
Two weeks later she passed away.
-
Me and Jill were far far away, and we said
-
we're gonna come. We took a TEXTI from wherever and
-
came all the way to care just to say our
-
last respects to her husband and met her daughters.
-
And you know what. The husband said to me, Hey,
-
before you leave, I just want to tell you. Do
-
you know what?
-
She had a favorite book from all the books that
-
you brought. I said, well, which one was it? And
-
then he said it was the one with all the
-
just it's all your faces exclaim, aren't you glad? I
-
do exclaim? But all the pictures of your testimonies.
-
She said.
-
She just kept reading it and looking at it. Even
-
the second day when I went to see her, she said, can.
-
I go to church?
-
I said, I can't take you now, you're not able
-
to walk. You can't walk, but she would look at
-
Exclaim and the stories.
-
That we told. See how powerful your testimonies are.
-
She just loved that book. Thank you for your stories.
-
Keep them coming. No, never keep a good testimony, keep
-
sharing it. This lady you may never have met her now,
-
but maybe one day you'll see a French woman come up.
-
Do you I read your story? Thank you, and then
-
you remember this story. Amen. She was just hungry.
-
And this is what happens when the Holy Spirit comes in.
-
We're hungry for word, We're hungry for prayer, We're hungry
-
to serve, We're hungry to wait on him.
-
We're hungry.
-
We just want the Holy Spirit, God's presence to be
-
with us.
-
And then what happens when we're hungry and God feels us.
-
We are restored with the joy of God's salvation.
-
Amen. We are restored with the joy of God's salvation.
-
And as you are filled with God's joy, Amen, that's
-
what you will carry into your everywhere that you go into.
-
I cannot say, because the Bible says, Uncle King David says,
-
don't cast me away from your presence, and take not
-
your Holy Spirit from me.
-
He knew the power of the Holy Spirit when we
-
talk about being filled. Amen.
-
And he said, restore to me us to hell the
-
joy of your salvation and uphold me by your generous spirit.
-
Amen.
-
Oh, the joy of God's salvation is like boom boom boom,
-
hallelujah all the way up.
-
Amen. He never draws us if we are a well
-
that is dried today. Come on, let's ask the Lord
-
of creating.
-
Me a new heart, renew a right spirit within me.
-
And Lord, you know, just fill me with your spirit.
-
Don't take away your spirit, but feel me because I come,
-
and that my joy might be renewed.
-
Amen. And this joy, he says, it upholds me. You
-
are so generous God. We just need that restoration. Amen.
-
And this is.
-
A journey that you can have throughout your whole walk
-
with Christ, even each year, each you know, each time
-
you just come twenty one days. Let's go for it
-
twenty one days. Hey, you know there are some of
-
you spend more money. Sorry, you know you spend a
-
lot of money in your gym or your your pickling
-
ball and do pickles. You know you spend money. There's
-
no joy of salvation there.
-
Mind you, mind you.
-
It makes you happy, but there's no joy of salvation
-
in pickling ball freak you you hurt yourself like my husband. Okay,
-
but the joy of the Lord's salvation is everlasting.
-
Can't exchange it.
-
I sit before God's presence and I'm just so thankful
-
every day that the Lord is my salfish. And in
-
my I say, God, I cannot do anything without you.
-
I can't.
-
I can't, I can't do my masters, I can't lead,
-
I can't. Yes, we have natural talon, but nothing beats
-
God's generous spirit that takes you and lifts you up.
-
Amen.
-
And as you are restored, the best thing you can
-
do is be a witness, be his witness. Share what
-
you are experiencing. Why am I sharing Marie story? Isn't
-
that amazing?
-
See? We will share the best bet that we can
-
buy for a pickleball bet buy this bet very good
-
bye from the shop good.
-
It's like testimony, you know, m we very good testimony
-
we share. How come we cannot share the transformation that
-
God has done for you.
-
I'm not asking you to do anything more. God did
-
not even ask, He just say, would you be my witnesses?
-
Just tell him the testimonies that you heard and how
-
he or how he opened the door for you or
-
I don't know what you're praying for.
-
Can we be God's witness? Amen? That's that's that's just
-
the overflow of being filled by His spirit. Amen.
-
We're not out to do any other thing but to
-
be a witness. That's exactly what you And come on, people,
-
you have products that you share with people on very quickly.
-
I found myself doing that. I'm like, oh my goodness,
-
it is not very good. No, it is chocolate, very good. No,
-
And he said very good. No.
-
We're so quick, but we're so slow to tell about
-
the most exciting person who's living in me. I'm so
-
slow to brag on what he's done for me. I'm
-
so ashamed because it's a name that people will not receive.
-
But we're wrong.
-
It's the only name that people can be saved. We
-
are ashamed to tell somebody I'm a follower of Christ.
-
We are sh We don't even dare say I believe
-
in Jesus. We say I believe in God? Which God, the.
-
Cow, the pickleball? Which God? Do you follow? Jesus? Jesus, Jesus.
-
We got to get radical or we are just a shame.
-
That's all. There's a no. I'll just wait for them
-
to ask me. Why can they see anything different with you?
-
Or you're like everybody else?
-
There has been something so different than Hey, tell me
-
you're fasting.
-
Tell her you're first thing? Don't you got you? What's im?
-
You can tell them about Easter. I don't think they
-
don't know what Easter is.
-
Come on Christians, Oh, I don't use the word even hey,
-
believers and followers of Christ.
-
People have an.
-
Idea, and if they don't, great time to share with
-
them what you believe in, what transformed you.
-
You're not telling somebody else what you God will do
-
for no need? What got it for you? Our lives
-
don't have.
-
The perfect, but there are moments of victories we can
-
share about. Just like everyone else out there, they will
-
share their moments of yah, I did so well.
-
They're not. I use this product and see I got
-
muscles now. And that's what we do.
-
We share the best best kid program, the best vitamins
-
for your children.
-
You quickly share among the moms. One I know one,
-
I hear you.
-
So why do we not share the very life, the
-
very lifeline that leads us to eternal life here it is.
-
Are we preparing ourselves to be new wine skins?
-
Because the new wine is.
-
It's just bubbling, ready to be poured into our lives.
-
But if we keep all mindsets, if we keep thinking, well, no,
-
you cannot love this week, cannot that one cannot, everything
-
cannot know like sometimes you're anti.
-
You cannot like and not lock. And I'm not ready
-
my hair not done yet. Don't take picture.
-
You will miss out a lot of moments. Everything is
-
again not love because I'm not ready. Just be ready,
-
law right. I have a husband that really pushes me.
-
Sometimes I'm like, but because not because it's evil, but
-
because he's like, I know you won't do it because
-
you just you just won't because your hair is not
-
nice to be. But then I get that extra help,
-
and then hey, I accomplish something. We need somebody to
-
give us the ex to push. We need each other
-
to share each other and say it's good. We can
-
I feel Let's get up again. Hey I condemned myself. No,
-
stop condemning yourself. Let's forgive, repent, turn it around, walk
-
back to Jesus. Amen, Amen, thank you Jesus. Come on,
-
we're going to close right now Hallelujah. We want to
-
be ready to be the new wine skins.
-
Amen. We want to shine.
-
We want to share what transformed our lives. We're not
-
sharing to transform anybody. We're just saying, who transformed me?
-
What I experience? That's all. That's it.
-
When someone hears your transformation story, then they get to
-
think about it and ask you another time later, how
-
did that transformation happen?
-
Tell me again, amen, Amen.
-
I think we are living and breathing this life that
-
Christ is given to us, but we've never just thought
-
about how can I really just.
-
Make Him known in a in a simple ways, in
-
simple ways, like like a product life.
-
You're holding something in your hand, you should share one.
-
I see people sharing movie tickets, like any wanna go
-
see this movie place? PJL has place. Hey, let's go.
-
See this place. Hey there's su Sunnight. Hey you go
-
take people to sell Sunnight. Oh there's a French Da Da.
-
And we're all talking about those things.
-
But very I catch myself very seldom say hey.
-
Because he's boring, or hey, I go for prayer meeting.
-
We do do holy but borrowing, but it's a prayer
-
meeting that changes the hour of prayer that changes something.
-
Thank God, we keep coming for that prayer even though
-
it feels like I'm bringing the same thing every time
-
or whatever.
-
But that preys uplifting things by the grace of God.
-
Never this, this, never disk it and Tea's Amen.
-
Amen.
