  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. All right, so we know that this this year we've

  4. activated revival.

  5. Right.

  6. Last year it was discipleship. We continue with discipleship. This

  7. year is revival, and then next year will be evangelism

  8. and then A and M. All right, dream So uh

  9. if you got that that that opening slide with with

  10. the title, you can just flash it on. Okay, Remember

  11. the last time I said that I made a mistake.

  12. I didn't put the revival on the horror So I remember,

  13. so dream revival and ea, M that's for next year,

  14. year after next and year after next. What's my attitude?

  15. What's my attitude? The last time I shared with you,

  16. I think I shared that revival is a personal choice, right,

  17. Revival is something that happens to believe us. Revival is not.

  18. We we mistake revival, we get we we make this mistake.

  19. Between revival and evangelism, it's two different things. Evangelism comes

  20. after revival takes place, all right, and revival takes place

  21. with the believers. And I want to share with you

  22. something from the parable.

  23. I think I spelled. Is it right? Mixed ors.

  24. Okay, I got it right. Okay, the spelling because in

  25. my notes is wrong. Okay, Parable of the talents. Wow,

  26. something to be learned about this from the Parable of

  27. the talents. Look, God has something for us in this scripture,

  28. and I pray that if we catch on to it,

  29. if you realize what it's all about, is going to

  30. change our lives.

  31. So let's read.

  32. From Matthew twenty five, reading from verse fourteen.

  33. For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man.

  34. Ooh, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man traveling

  35. to a far country who called his own servants and

  36. delivered his goods to them. The Kingdom of Heaven is

  37. like a man traveling a pharaoh place faraway place, and

  38. he gave his goods to his servants. Now why the

  39. Kingdom of Heaven. I really had a trouble with this

  40. for some time. The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man.

  41. And then as I did a little bit more reading

  42. and understanding, I realized that the writers revered God so

  43. much that they would not use the word God. They

  44. wouldn't use the Kingdom of God. They wouldn't use God

  45. is like a man. They won't do that all right.

  46. So when Jesus was reciting this parable, and a parable

  47. is a story that we can learn from. It's not

  48. necessarily a real story, but it has a life meaning

  49. and it could be based on something actual. So Jesus

  50. was actually speaking to the Jewish people who understood the

  51. term that he was referring to. So when he said

  52. the kingdom of Heaven, he was speaking a language that

  53. they understood. So it it could be the Kingdom of

  54. God is like a man. It could also be God

  55. is like a man. Not it's drawing a picture. It's

  56. not something specific or something real. It's not saying God

  57. is a man, all right. It's like trying to explain

  58. him in a way that we will understand. So a

  59. far away country, it says that this man Kingdom of

  60. God is like this man who traveled to a far

  61. away country and he delivered his goods to his servants.

  62. I want to draw your attention to this.

  63. Do you know why? And I think I spelt it

  64. wrong again?

  65. Mix one okay, never mind good, it's not okay the

  66. one before, all right. The reason this is because the

  67. reason that God can go far away is because he

  68. trusts us. If you read that scripture if you read

  69. it very carefully, He's like a man who delivered his

  70. goods to his servants. He went to a far away country.

  71. How many of you will do that? You go to

  72. a far away country, You call your housemaid. Here's my

  73. bank account number, This is my password. You know the

  74. ten million in the bank account. You use it according

  75. to how you feel. Would you do that? You wouldn't

  76. write your master bedroom. You look, you won't let craigna.

  77. Why is that? Because your trust level only goes so far?

  78. But do you know when this is talking about God,

  79. Your God and my God?

  80. He trusts us.

  81. You got to understand that he trusts us. If he

  82. did not trust us, he would still be here right

  83. by our sideway. You and I can see, like the

  84. cloud and the fire that followed his people. You know

  85. why the cloud and that fire followed the people? Could

  86. he trust them to understand just how much he cared

  87. for them? They would not be able to do it.

  88. So he had to have a visual But here he

  89. traveled to a far away country. You and I better

  90. appreciate God. We better appreciate him on a different level

  91. because you and I know who we are. We know

  92. what kind of people we are. We know what a

  93. situation is. But God still trusts us. Amy that counts

  94. for something. It when he in Matthew twenty eight says

  95. go into the world and make disciples. He and trusted

  96. the biggest task that he had on his mind with

  97. sinners like you and me. Guys, gotta understand God is

  98. a different level.

  99. Okay, I mean he is. He is matchless.

  100. None of us can sometimes even trust our own family

  101. members like that.

  102. God can.

  103. And then it said in scripture he said, who called

  104. his servants called his servants? You know it is a calling.

  105. It is a calling to be a believer. You think

  106. you are a believer because you said, Jesus coming to

  107. my heart and be my Lord, and say it true.

  108. That's true. But do you think that you did that

  109. because you just felt like you wanted to do it?

  110. He called you. And in my case it's true because

  111. when I got saved forty seven years ago, he actually

  112. came down in a pillar and I actually heard him say, Terence,

  113. you're not a believer, receive me now. And only after

  114. he said those words, which I heard with my years,

  115. did I give my life to Christ. So he calls

  116. it is a calling servants. Who did he call? He

  117. called servants. You know what this word servant means. It

  118. means a slave. He called his slaves. He called his

  119. bond servern, you know as a bond servern. Bond servant says,

  120. I will serve you all my life. So they put

  121. their ear to the to the door, and then they

  122. puncture where they all so that blood falls on the

  123. on the door posts. Okay, that means that guy has

  124. given his life to the Lord forever.

  125. You know.

  126. It's a voluntary, fully devoted servant. Guys, the House of

  127. the Lord is filled with servants or visitors. Remember I

  128. said this is a meet message. Do we attend church

  129. just to hear the word? Is that why we come

  130. to worship the Lord every day every Sunday? Or do

  131. we come into the house just to hear the word?

  132. I mean, if that's all we do coming to the house.

  133. And this is how this message came about. Okay, I'm

  134. going to share a little bit of the end before

  135. the beginning. This is supposed to be the climax. But

  136. I can't wait. I really can't wait.

  137. God gave the.

  138. Talents to whom the servants of the house. But the

  139. church is full of visitors, the ones who come in

  140. and go out.

  141. Immediately.

  142. They come in before service, or they come in during

  143. service and immediately after service go out because they have

  144. come to be served.

  145. And not to serve. Think about it, God is your restaurant.

  146. You see. This whole thought.

  147. Came about when someone once told me, it's okay, what well,

  148. I don't need to come to this. I can go

  149. to any church. God is there, God is any Is

  150. God in any church? Can I see your hands being

  151. put up? God is lay? God is any any Okay?

  152. He is right.

  153. So that guy told me. That person told me, oh,

  154. God is in any church. You can go to any church.

  155. God is there? Why do I need to come to

  156. this church?

  157. On me?

  158. So that's when I went to the Lord and I

  159. asked the Lord, Lord, is this true? Is this what

  160. you mean for us? Then the Lord gave this to me.

  161. He said, I gave my goods only to my servants.

  162. So that means those who just go from place to

  163. place to hear this, they are being served by God.

  164. Think about it. I'm just going there to hear the message.

  165. Ah today, this Quitel message, I think I want Claiyport message.

  166. So I will go to this other place. They are

  167. serving Clayport message there. The Clayport message is not so good.

  168. Maybe I have to try that desert. That that that

  169. you know Joe is talking about. Ye're going to try

  170. that in that other place. So you know what, you

  171. go from place to place to place to place. You

  172. know what you're doing. You're making God your chef. He's

  173. got to serve you the food. And you sit there.

  174. I like it.

  175. I don't like it. You get up and you go

  176. somewhere else. Let me tell you gain nothing. In fact,

  177. that you only pay. You go to a restaurant, they

  178. give you anything. No, you pay what you pay. So

  179. that's but I wanted to draw your attention to God.

  180. He delivered his goods. He gave his goods to hisself.

  181. And you know that I studied this word, delivered, gave

  182. this good It wasn't a loan. You know, you know

  183. that your God and minor, he doesn't believe in giving

  184. us loans.

  185. He gives, he gives. He delivered his goods to us.

  186. It was ours, it became ours, It now is ours.

  187. It belongs to us.

  188. So God gave us talents. A scripture talks about talents

  189. as money. But this is word talent is quite interesting.

  190. He could also mean the things that he can do.

  191. You can pray for the sake and they can recover.

  192. You can write songs, you can sing, you can play

  193. nice guitar, you can keep a good beat.

  194. For me.

  195. The Lord opens up and I ask the Lord Lord,

  196. how come this is my gift to you. I can

  197. see Scripture a little bit differently. It opens up to me,

  198. and this is my gift. Now if I keep it

  199. to myself, you know what I am. I'm going to

  200. a restaurant. The restaurant my restaurant is called a Bible.

  201. But you see, God doesn't expect me to go to

  202. a restaurant. He expects me to serve him. So he

  203. gives me a gift, a talent that I don't keep

  204. to myself.

  205. I use. So he delivered his goods.

  206. And then Scripture says, and to one he gave five talents,

  207. and to another two, and another one to each according

  208. to his own ability. And immediately he went on a journey.

  209. As I said, God gave. And the reason why I

  210. believe that this parable is in reference to God is

  211. because in the later part of this parable, you will

  212. see that this person had the authority to do something

  213. which we will discuss a little later on. So when

  214. I'm referring to this person this parable is talking about,

  215. I believe that it is a type referring to God.

  216. So God did not lend it, wasn't alone. He didn't

  217. consign here. I give you this and then later on

  218. you give it back to me. He didn't consign it.

  219. He put it completely under our authority and dominion. What

  220. is the gift that God has given you? What talent

  221. has he placed in your hand? You say, I'm not

  222. a person of talent, There's nothing I can do.

  223. Well, it's like this. My Bible tells me.

  224. If you are a servant in the house, my Bible

  225. tells me he gives talents. So either my Bible is

  226. wrong or you are wrong.

  227. Who do you think. I will believe.

  228. There is nobody here who doesn't have a talent that

  229. the Lord has given because the.

  230. Bible tells me this.

  231. It says it is given each to his own ability.

  232. And that is really revolutionary, because if your ability is

  233. to say hello to one child, that is your ability.

  234. When you say hallo to that one child, you have

  235. done what the Lord has told you to do You

  236. mean to say, you cannot do that. If the Lord

  237. has told you to stand up here and share the

  238. word of God, that is your talent. You stand up

  239. here and you share the word of God. If the

  240. Lord has said come up here and draw a poster

  241. for the church, and you draw a poster for the church,

  242. that is your talent. If you are a person, the

  243. Lord has said, go and say hello to one child,

  244. draw a poster for the church, and preach the word

  245. of God.

  246. Three talents. Do it? Love some people he gives more. Right,

  247. So do you get jealous?

  248. No, because the scripture says, here's one each according to

  249. his own ability. That means that he recognizes where you

  250. are and he doesn't want to burden you. He doesn't

  251. want to stretch you beyond your capability. He wants to

  252. be just for you. You know, you can be the

  253. best guitarister. I give you another example. Okay, you can

  254. be a guitarist. You can be the best guitarist. You

  255. can be a great music producer and a musician. So

  256. the ability to play instruments and produce albums. To sing

  257. us sometimes maybe just to sing, but some singers can

  258. also produce albums and play the guitar very well. You've

  259. heard of this guy, Prince Anna Purple. Okay, that guy Prince.

  260. I only discovered very lately that he was an exceptional

  261. guitar player. Guitarist. I mean you listened to him play

  262. the guitar. Michael Jackson couldn't play guitar. I know, Michael

  263. Jackson could dance and sing, but you know he couldn't

  264. play the guitar.

  265. But Prince could dance, he could sing.

  266. Man, he played fantastic guitar and listened to him play

  267. the bass is something else. So this is a person

  268. that had many talents. Guys, what's the talent that God

  269. has given you?

  270. Each?

  271. According to you know what? Your distinct ability unique only

  272. to you. It was more towards your suitability rather than

  273. to the amount of war you could do, rather than

  274. you know, God is telling you each and every one

  275. of you you have something to offer. So don't look

  276. at that other guy and say, you know, I want

  277. to do what he is doing. Don't look at that

  278. other person and say why they can do so many things?

  279. I cannot do so much, so I better not do. No,

  280. You got to understand the Lord gave you that which

  281. is distinct only to you. Then he verse sixteen, then

  282. you will receive five talents, went and traded with them

  283. and made another five more, and likewise he would received

  284. two gained two more. You want to know something, both

  285. of them produced one hundred percent. You see, why are

  286. we worried whether this guy produces five or this guy

  287. produces two? Remember what scripture say gave according to their ability,

  288. distinct ability, what they could do, he gave when they produce?

  289. What did they produce one hundred percent? So is their

  290. production level same or different?

  291. It's the same. It is the same.

  292. Because they both produced one hundred percent. You see, if

  293. you can do more and you don't do one hundred percent,

  294. what are you doing?

  295. You're doing less. If you.

  296. Can do something that one thing and you do it, well,

  297. what are you doing? You're doing one hundred percent. See,

  298. God looks at things differently, doesn't look like us. He

  299. doesn't see things the way we see things. Maybe that's

  300. why there's so much problems in the world today. Guys,

  301. they both produced exactly the production value of their distinct abilities.

  302. What is the talent that God has given you? Are

  303. you keeping it to yourself? Are you keeping it to yourself?

  304. Are you working with it?

  305. Please?

  306. Don't just keep it to yourself. Work with it. Success

  307. came in doing what they could do best. What can

  308. you do?

  309. Do it? Well?

  310. Success will come to you. You look back at your

  311. life and say, wow, I've come so far. How did

  312. this happen? Well, you are just doing what God told

  313. you to do. You're not doing what somebody else could do.

  314. That fella can do ten things, you can only do one.

  315. You did that well, and guess what. You look back

  316. and say, Ah, I have moved forward. Isn't that wonderful?

  317. God is really good the affair? So they did it.

  318. If it was to play guitar, they did. If it

  319. was to sing, they did. If it was to produce

  320. an album, they did. When God asks you to do something,

  321. you can do it using equals gain. Don't use no,

  322. use no gain, use this gain. And sometimes the Lord

  323. will ask you to do something, maybe not directly to you,

  324. but through your CPC. Your CPC comes up to you

  325. and say, hey, can you do this? You say no,

  326. I cannot do. Who are you saying no to? Ask yourself?

  327. Are you saying no to the CPC? Are you asking?

  328. Or are you saying no to the God who's given

  329. you a talent. You and I will live a line.

  330. We don't take notice of these things. Maybe that's why

  331. we don't live as well as we should be living.

  332. Guys like I said, this is not milk, this is meat.

  333. But he let's talk about number eighteen, verse eighteen. But

  334. he there's one guyer, one joker, the real joker. He

  335. who received one went and dug in the ground and

  336. hid his lord's money. After a long time, the lord

  337. of this servant came and settle accounts with them. You know,

  338. the first two went and traded. The first two worked

  339. with what the Lord had given them. The first two

  340. used their talents. Let's look at the third one. The

  341. third one, he left, He departed. He took a direction

  342. away from the task. Scripture says he left and doug

  343. he did not get with the program. You know, this

  344. is like an under somebody I know, somebody I know

  345. here's a believer or I don't know whether he's still

  346. a believer, but a believer had some kind of grudge

  347. against God. I don't know what kind of grudge. Do

  348. you know there are people in this world of God

  349. grudge against God? And they try and fight God like

  350. God will fall to pieces. Hey, dear God, you are

  351. not who are you to fight against God? So he

  352. thinks he's like some sort of Jacob wrestling with God.

  353. And one day the Lord will touch his tie and

  354. God will give him what he wants, and never mind

  355. if he comes out limpin. To me, that is mere foolishness,

  356. because you don't go fight against God, you will lose

  357. all the time. Don't fight God, you will lose all

  358. the time. Just get with the program. So this is

  359. this kind of character, this kind of ca And you

  360. know he had something against the Master because you listen

  361. to what he said later on.

  362. So he dug and he hid it.

  363. You know when you dig and you hide that telling

  364. you know what it is you are, You are rejecting

  365. that entrustment. I don't want any part of it. Wow,

  366. do we dare? Tell God that I don't want any

  367. part of your kingdom. So I'm gonna do what I want,

  368. and I want to submit myself to you.

  369. I did not, you know. Do you know in church?

  370. I think almost all my leaders, or let me not,

  371. almost all my leaders are younger than me. Do you

  372. know that all my leaders are have known the Lord

  373. less than me. All I'm talking about from the very

  374. top right down. I'm older than them. I've been a

  375. believer longer than they have been a believer. But you

  376. know I submit to them.

  377. Do you know why I do that?

  378. Because I don't want to be like someone who hit

  379. my talent in the ground and said, I'm not going

  380. to do that. It's beneath me to work under those

  381. who should I who I should be leading?

  382. Is that the way it is?

  383. No, God's never been about who's at the top.

  384. You know what God has been about? What are you doing?

  385. Where are you at? What will you do to please me?

  386. The time is coming short. The time is very short.

  387. Jesus is coming again soon. If you do not know

  388. how to read the signs of the times, let me

  389. tell you Jesus is coming again very soon. I pray

  390. that when he comes, he'll find you and I to

  391. be people who are using the talents He's given us.

  392. Look at what after some time he came back. Do

  393. you know that time was given for all of us

  394. to get a act together?

  395. We are all.

  396. Given time, But do you know that time can run out?

  397. There is time is finite, you know for us time

  398. is finite. What is our timeline. Our timeline is from

  399. the time we are born to the time we expire.

  400. That is our timeline. But do you know the timeline

  401. to do God's work also has an expiry date. I

  402. pray that you and I will get over ourselves and

  403. start submitting ourselves in the house of the Lord as servants,

  404. so that we can utilize the talents that He's given

  405. us for his glory. We are not restaurant goers. Church

  406. is not a restaurant to us. Let it never be

  407. a restaurant to us. Let it be a place where

  408. we serve, not where we get God to serve us. Came, okay,

  409. this is now talking about God Verse twenty. And he

  410. came and he received He who had so, he who

  411. had received five talents came and brought five to the

  412. other servants, saying, Lord Lord, look you delivered to me

  413. five talents. Look I gained five more. And his Lord said,

  414. well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful over

  415. a few things. I'll make you ruler over many things. Enter,

  416. come on in into the joy of the Lord. H

  417. You know what was this person's reward? First reward, good

  418. and faidful, good. He describes what originates from God and

  419. is empowered by Him in their lives through faith.

  420. Wow, the.

  421. Master commended this servant as good. You know, it wasn't

  422. the more money that the God was pleased about.

  423. You you look at it.

  424. He didn't say, wow, I got five more talents. Great,

  425. I'm richer. Did the Master say that? No, he said

  426. the first thing was he commended the servant well done,

  427. good and faithful.

  428. It wasn't the money the Master was pleased about. It

  429. was faith forness. Do you know that? That is? What

  430. is that?

  431. That is what God is seeking from each and every

  432. one of us for the talents He's put in our hands.

  433. Faithfulness.

  434. Now we have to be faithful over the gifts that

  435. God has given us. To those of us who just

  436. have young children. Now, Bible says their gifts from the Lord.

  437. Are we faithful with demonad? Do we look after them?

  438. Na? Do we care for them or not? Do you

  439. know what I tell you?

  440. My wife and me, we never cared for our children

  441. in such a way that we told God we care

  442. for our children more than you.

  443. You know what that means. That means we subjected our

  444. parenthood to our service. Of the Lord. You should have.

  445. Seen my kids. They were with us in church until

  446. two am. Yeah, I come to service, six am, go

  447. back to am Monday morning. My baby's one year old,

  448. one and a half years old, they're with us. Did

  449. we ever say no, no, no, I got to go back home.

  450. My child, my child, my child.

  451. No. You know why.

  452. Because we told the Lord we can never look after

  453. our children better.

  454. Than you can. We need your help.

  455. So every time we serve the Lord, we were serving

  456. the Lord with full knowledge of the fact that God

  457. was looking after our children. And I told you the Testimonyum,

  458. my little girl had her arm dislocated, crying for so

  459. many hours while you're such bad parents, you allow your child.

  460. We didn't know.

  461. I mean, we don't have extra vision, only supermandos, so

  462. we didn't know he had she had a dislocated arm.

  463. She's maybe one, one year, one month, one year of

  464. two months, crying and crying and crying the whole service,

  465. wondering why is she crying. So immediately after service we

  466. took her to the hospital. We checked out and say, oh,

  467. we need to take an X ray. Your child is

  468. probably dislocated the arm.

  469. So I just looked.

  470. At Elder Mayble, and I said, there is no way

  471. we're going to allow our child to be x rayed. Okay,

  472. So we're going to trust the Lord Lord.

  473. We pray.

  474. We just interceded, We prayed, we prayed, We prayed in

  475. the name of Jesus.

  476. So Ashley was.

  477. Sitting on Elder Mabel's lap and I was standing praying

  478. for her, had a.

  479. Toy in my hand.

  480. Immediately after I said Jesus name that injured hands, she

  481. just reached out and took the toy and she started laughing,

  482. giggling and laughing. We saw tested out her arm. She

  483. was completely chuck and cheeser changed. We just walked right

  484. up to the county said, non need for x ray.

  485. We left the hospital exactly like that. God looks after

  486. our children better than we can, Okay, So we have

  487. to be faithful over the gifts he's given us.

  488. The joy of your Lord. Enter into the joy of

  489. your Lord. This is what was their reward, what was

  490. his reward? Enter into the joy of the Lord. The

  491. word refers to someone supreme. Hey, God is supreme. Enter

  492. into my supreme joy. This is why I believe this

  493. parable refers to God and his interaction with us specifically, Well,

  494. isn't it wonderful to enter into the juggle? You mean

  495. to say, Elder Mable and myself, we were not happy

  496. when Ashley was healer. We were over enjoyed. What an

  497. amazing testimony. The other day, I went to the hospital

  498. and I was leaving my mom and I was in

  499. the hospital and three am, three four am. Okay, yeah,

  500. I see that. Okay, So until three am I was

  501. in the hospital and because you reading my mom, and

  502. then of course we were in the emergency and you know,

  503. they every five minutes they're bringing in people on the stretcher,

  504. bleeding everywhere, cart broken, you know, accidents, was almost all

  505. of their motorcycles. So it was these two guys. I

  506. didn't tell you this, right, no, okay. So there was

  507. these two guys who came and they sat by my side,

  508. chain broke the chin, you know, all damage bleeding here there, everywhere,

  509. you know, and they sat in the chair by me

  510. waiting for their turn to be looked at. So this

  511. was at seven forty five, just before it. Then they

  512. look at the nurse and say, it can be going

  513. eat because you know it's fasting and we haven't eaten yet.

  514. So we're hungry. It's both brothers are. The nurse looked

  515. at them and say, no, I'm sorry, you can't. You

  516. have to wait until the doctor sees you. The doctor

  517. can call you it anytime. So I heard this, and

  518. then after that the Lord said. I heard the Lord

  519. say feed them. The Lord said feed them. So I

  520. turned to them and said, you all a fasting today?

  521. Yeah?

  522. Yeah, yeah, we haven't. You know, we're a little be hungry.

  523. So I went and got themn food. I got them food.

  524. I got them drink because I heard the Lord say,

  525. do it. I gave it to them. They were so grateful. No, no,

  526. let me pay you. I said, no, no need to pay.

  527. Give them the food.

  528. And I know why. The Lord told me to give

  529. them food. Do you know what time they were released.

  530. They were released at two am. Can you imagine already

  531. in pain, bleeding everywhere? And then I'm very hungry.

  532. Do you know that the Lord cared for the two

  533. of them. The Lord was compacted. The Lord was thinking

  534. of them. You think that Lord only thinks of believers.

  535. He thinks of everyone because everyone is a potential to

  536. coming to know him as personal Lord and savior.

  537. He loves them.

  538. So was that being a good servant? I guess so

  539. at that moment I heard the Lord.

  540. I did it?

  541. How many times the Lord telling us things we don't do,

  542. we miss out? So he came now to the one

  543. where two talents He came and said, Lord, Lord, you

  544. delivered to me too. Look I have gained two more

  545. besides them. And his Lord said, well done, what good

  546. and faithful? You have been faithful over a few things.

  547. I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into

  548. the joy of the Lord. I want to draw your

  549. attention to this. Is there any record that the Master

  550. took back the money? Do you know that the Master

  551. did not take back the money from them? In fact,

  552. the Master said, whatever you have, you get more. The

  553. Lord is not interested in reclaiming the talents he's given you.

  554. In fact, he wants to give you more. He wants

  555. to bless you more. You got to know the heart

  556. of the Lord. The heart of the Lord is to

  557. bless you. That is the heart of the Lord. Are

  558. we living his heart? So there's no record the Master

  559. taking back the money, say in other words, it was given.

  560. In fact, he let them keep it.

  561. God has never been interested in the money or the

  562. gifts perceived, but our faithfulness to use it and produce?

  563. Are we producing? I ask yourself this question. Don't I

  564. got to speak to you? Do not treat church as

  565. a restaurant. Whichever church you settled in, you must serve.

  566. And if you haven't settled in in a church, do

  567. it quickly. Time is short Verse twenty four. Then he said,

  568. Then he who who had received the one talent came

  569. and said, Lord, this guy's happy for the wrong thing.

  570. Lord, I knew you were a hard.

  571. Man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where

  572. you're not scattered seed. He's even insulting the Master.

  573. You know.

  574. You are an unfair man. You do things that not nice.

  575. This is what he's telling the Master. You know, like

  576. that person I was telling you just now, and I

  577. was afraid. And when it hit your talent in the ground,

  578. Look there you have what is yours? Do you think

  579. you can get away with it? To tell God you're

  580. not right? Something wrong with you? So I was afraid

  581. because you're a gangster, So I didn't want to lose

  582. your money, so I hid it.

  583. You dare tell God that do I tell? Dare tell

  584. God that we are crazy? We do.

  585. But you know, there are a lot of brave people

  586. in the world today, lots of brave people in the world.

  587. The Church is full of brave people. The Church is

  588. full of brave people who all the time tell God, Hey,

  589. get out of my life, I will do what I want.

  590. That's the same man, same kind of character. The one

  591. with the one talent claimed to be fully knowledgeable of

  592. his Master. He said, I know who you are. You

  593. know you're like this, like this, like this. It was

  594. a deep miscalculation. You know why, because you do not

  595. miscalculate that relationship with God. The word that he used

  596. was your heart. You're tough, you're hash severe. The word

  597. is skelos. That was the word that the servant used

  598. against the Master. To me, his statement reflects his contempt

  599. of God. He basically accused God of being unjust. Rather

  600. than face that just, rather than face that, he returned

  601. the talent to God. I do not need you, nor

  602. do I work for you. That is exactly the message

  603. he was telling the Master. That's like us when God

  604. gives us a talent and we don't use it for

  605. His kingdom. We are just telling God God, I do

  606. not need you. Do you think you're gonna be in

  607. the Master's joy. There are lots of people who will

  608. get surprised on the last day. I'm sorry to say,

  609. this is what scripture says. Lots of people will be surprised.

  610. How do you know that? Because scripture does say, did

  611. I not call you Lord? Lord?

  612. Did I not cast out demons in your name? You

  613. know he will say. You know what the Lord says,

  614. depart from me. I never knew you, but his Lord

  615. answered and said to him, you wicked and lazy seven.

  616. You knew that I read where I'm not sown, and

  617. gathered where I have not seen. In other words, he's saying,

  618. you say that about me, and yet you do not

  619. do anything. Not to do what God has given us

  620. talents to do equates is equal to wickedness. You know,

  621. God calls us wicked. If we don't do that, do

  622. we want to be called wicked by the Lord? Come on, guys,

  623. realize I told you this is not a milk message.

  624. It's a meat message. Wake up and grow. We got

  625. to grow. You want revival that happened in your life.

  626. You make a decision. Revival is a decision. It's not

  627. HEIGHTI flighty. You know casa, Whatever will be will be.

  628. I know your young ones do not know that song,

  629. but the old ones will understand.

  630. Kay. You know it.

  631. Speaks of being hurtful. It speaks of disease, derelict.

  632. This is this is.

  633. What that word wicked. That the word that the master user.

  634. It is derelict, vicious, mischief, malicious even means the devil.

  635. Oh, lazy. You know what the word lazy means. Hesitate.

  636. It means tardy, always late? Oh are you always late

  637. to church?

  638. Oh?

  639. Let's not the Lord call us tardy. Okay, let us

  640. not let him not call us och neuros. That's what

  641. it means, a neros. That's the word there was used here,

  642. ach neuros. Reluctant or reluctant to do God's are you guys?

  643. You mean to say God?

  644. You may say your face may be like that, but

  645. in your space, God sees the eye doesn't look at

  646. your face.

  647. Nice.

  648. You know this about God. It's an attitude that is lazy, unambitious.

  649. You know, if we are unambitious for the wordly things,

  650. that's okay. Let us not be unambitious for the Lord's things,

  651. because the Lord equates that to wickedness.

  652. And laziness. Are you still with me?

  653. I hope I'm not, you know, being so harsh with

  654. I'm not being harsh with you.

  655. I'm being harsh with mere Lord.

  656. This is what the Lord spoke. This is on his heart.

  657. Have you ever heard the five the parable of the talents?

  658. Like this or not?

  659. This is actually a deeper understanding of what is trying

  660. to get to us. So you ought this is what

  661. the Master said? So you ought to have deposited my

  662. money with the bankers at my coming, I would have

  663. received back my own with interests.

  664. You know what is this? Deposit money? See?

  665. This is the difference between wickedness and lack of confidence

  666. or something like that.

  667. This is it.

  668. There is always something we can do to serve in

  669. the house of the Lord, however small it might be,

  670. but it is a forward step that grows. I give

  671. you an example of what could be. I give you

  672. an example of what could be in the bank with interests.

  673. You want to know, haven't you always wondered what scripture

  674. mean by you put the money in the bank and

  675. get interest.

  676. In this context, it means this.

  677. What was the great commission going into the world and

  678. preach the gospel? Making disciples. Right, that's the biggest thing

  679. on God's heart, right, the most important thing. How many

  680. of us do it? Don't put up your hands, how

  681. many of us do it? Almost all of us don't.

  682. To be true, you know what is the money in

  683. the bank. At least, at the very least, we serve

  684. as a host in the house of the Lord, welcoming something,

  685. welcoming somebody, or we clean the church, or we arrange

  686. the furniture, or maybe we make some food for expresso,

  687. or maybe we decorate the place. You know, that is

  688. you know what that is. That is not trading the talent,

  689. you know, because the talent is not dead. But you

  690. know what that is, That is just putting the money

  691. in the bank to gain some interest. At least, when

  692. the Lord sees us her, we don't come to him

  693. empty handed. We come to him having done something for

  694. his kingdom. The Lord is actually telling us that he

  695. is looking for even user to work with us. This

  696. tells me he's looking for a way with which not

  697. to be upset with us. He's looking for a way

  698. with which to approve us. At least the guy said, hey,

  699. hey Lord, I'm not very clever. I'm not very able.

  700. So I was afraid to lose your money. But I

  701. was quite sure that if I put the money in the bank,

  702. at least I gave you some interest. The very most,

  703. the Lord would have said that I've got some more

  704. work to do with you.

  705. Now, mind not mine. Come, I'll help you.

  706. Rather than away with you, you wicked person. Even what you have,

  707. I take away from you and give it to the

  708. one who's God. Is that how we want the Lord

  709. to valuidate us. At the very least there is something

  710. we can do. There's a very least there's a way

  711. that we can still.

  712. Please the Lord.

  713. Doesn't that tell you something good about your God? He's

  714. not out to get us, you know. The Lord is

  715. you know what is the statement, I'm out to get you,

  716. I'm out to destroy you. Lord is not like that.

  717. He is out to bless us. He wants to find

  718. that opportunity to approve us. He wants that opportunity to

  719. do something good for us. Are we giving him that opportunity.

  720. I want to say this to you, and this.

  721. Will ending versus ending ending.

  722. And I think I got five minutes ago. I'm reaching

  723. right time. I'm doing well for time time up already

  724. oh yo, sorry, but not so sorry. I'm ending in

  725. the last three in the next three minutes. So is this, Ah,

  726. don't lose everything. Okay, let's end with this. Don't lose everything.

  727. That only happens when we do nothing. You know, when

  728. you do nothing, guess what you lose everything. Isn't that

  729. quite funny? You got money in your pocket, right, I'm

  730. not going to spend it. I'm not going to use it.

  731. I'm going to keep in my pocket and I'm not

  732. gonna do anything. And next thing you put your hand

  733. in the pocket, money's not there. Don't be like that.

  734. Don't lose everything. This only happens when we do nothing.

  735. It's the master's house. This is not just a church.

  736. Always remember it is the master's house. When you come

  737. to the Master's house, you should come as a servant,

  738. not as a visitor, not as a restaurant goer.

  739. This is not a restaurant. He's the house of the Lord.

  740. He gives talents only to his servants, not visitors. Visitors

  741. who keep going from one church to another, take God

  742. for a cook or a chef, and go to his

  743. restaurants called churches, to simple cuisine called the word. Their

  744. years are tickled with good food, and they will not

  745. trade the talents God has given them, nor will they

  746. serve God in any capacity to give God interest. They

  747. want to come in and leave, and I'll end with

  748. the statement, what a dangerous place to be in. Guys,

  749. the Lord wants to bless you. He wants to help,

  750. He wants to turn your life around. He wants to

  751. give you joy.

  752. He wants to.

  753. Turn your morning into dancing you're sorry into joy. He

  754. wants to bless you. Let's give him every opportunity we

  755. can for him to do that for us.

  756. Okay, we hope you've been blessed by this message. For

  757. more information on our church, please visit aschurch dot org.

  759. that this week is going to be a good week.
