You're listening to a passage to go from ext church.
-
We hope this passage will.
-
Light up your tea.
-
Kingdom minded.
-
And so we're gonna go into what kingdom culture is.
-
Are we citizens of the Kingdom of God?
-
Yes? Or no?
-
Do you live like one? Do we think like a
-
citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven? And that's what we
-
want to get to.
-
Okay, all right, so if XD we can show me.
-
Yeah, okay, let's move on to the next flight, the
-
next visual. Now can I ask you all of you Christian?
-
Right or you've you've been in church for a while already,
-
right now? How did Jesus began his ministry? Hey, now,
-
it's a good time for you to turn to your bibles,
-
right and.
-
Look for that.
-
This is the open book and so okay, open book tests,
-
open book tests. Wait, no, you think about it, right,
-
How did Jesus begin his ministry?
-
So he went through the forty days of temptation? Right,
-
remember that?
-
And then he was baptized and then the Holy Spirit
-
came upon him.
-
Yes, and then what do you do after that? He
-
went around?
-
Okay, so there was a wedding at Cana, all right.
-
In different accounts, of the Gospels, you'll see different things.
-
But what was the one thing that Jesus started to
-
do when he was in active ministry?
-
Active ministry? What did Jesus say?
-
What do you think is the first message that Jesus
-
would say, love God? No, God loves you. Did you
-
say that? That's what we would say, right?
-
Okay? Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand. Okay.
-
So I'm going to turn you to Matthew chapter four. Okay,
-
Matthew chapter four. And so it says that from the
-
context of Mary chapter four, was he went through the
-
temptation and then after that in verse seventeen, after all
-
of that, right, he was going now starting his actual
-
ministry verse seventeen.
-
From that time, Jesus began to preach and.
-
To say, repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
-
Amen.
-
Amen, I want us to really unpack this one sentence
-
of how Jesus started his ministry. Do you know that
-
before that, John the Baptist, what was his message? What
-
was joined the Baptist message? Same thing, repent, repent Okay.
-
So now we want to understand this word kingdom. Right,
-
we talked a little bit about the citizenship just now
-
about our tie to this word kingdom. Tell me what
-
do you understand about this word kingdom? Okay, so what
-
is kingdom?
-
This is like English classa mine. There is a king
-
true not kingdom? There is a king. What is what
-
is the.
-
The the meaning of king to you?
-
What is king to you?
-
The head of the the ruler, right, someone who's sovereign. Now,
-
what else is needed for a kingdom?
-
Doom? Right? A king?
-
And because you can be king over what, you need
-
a dominion?
-
Right, kingdom? Right, so you go to them. You need land.
-
This is actual land, you know, it's not just like
-
oh yeah, let's be in the virtual space and let's
-
build a kingdom. That there is an actual land, right, dominion.
-
So to be a king, what do you need to
-
be a king?
-
What do you need? You need land? What else do
-
you need? You need people? Through or not no people?
-
Then you are king over word.
-
You go out to your garden if you have a
-
garden in your house, right, like, yeah, I'm king of
-
king of my land.
-
Then you are king.
-
Over the grasshoppers and the ants and the snails in
-
your garden.
-
Right.
-
So, so a kingdom needs a king, a ruler. You
-
need land and you need people through or not. So
-
that's what kingdom means.
-
Now.
-
So so this word kingdom is on the heart of Jesus,
-
on the mind of Jesus all the time. And that's
-
why at the very beginning he says repent for the
-
for the Kingdom of God is at hand. Okay, so
-
we understand kingdom. Now in the Greek word this kingdom,
-
there is this word called basaliyah, right, basal layer. Sorry, sorry,
-
don't worry about it. No one got injured in this.
-
Okay. Now what is basalaya? Yeah, it's okay, storry. It
-
means kingship. Right, this word kingdom, it means kingship. And
-
what was very interesting to.
-
Me was it means it's both in the world and
-
in the hearts of men. Do you believe that Jesus
-
is king over our hearts and our land right now?
-
Yes? Or no? Yes and no.
-
Right because it means, if you asked about it, is
-
Jesus king over your life?
-
Yes, it means that he rules and.
-
Reigns over every single part of your life, not just
-
on a Sunday, but in your job, in how you
-
spend your money, in how you spend your time, in
-
how you raise your children, is he king?
-
In?
-
How you handle your relationships with your parents, with your siblings?
-
Is he king?
-
And so that is why you know, we were saying,
-
what then is the kingdom? Let's understand a little bit
-
more of the kingdom of God. Okay, so let's move
-
on to the next visual. Now you know the word repent, right, Okay,
-
don't show you don't show yet?
-
I give answer?
-
Ready, Okay, I want to unpack a little bit on
-
this word repent.
-
What does repent mean to you? Right? We always say
-
this word?
-
Right?
-
Or as Christians? You need to repent? Yeah? What is repent?
-
If you're gonna be talking to someone who has never
-
heard of this word?
-
Right, never goes to church? But how would you explain repent?
-
What is repent? Stop what you're doing? Turn around? Turn around? Okay,
-
turn around? What else?
-
Sin?
-
No more? Okay, don't do the bad stuff anymore?
-
Right?
-
What else? What else? What else is repent? Sorry? Know
-
what you did? I know what you did last summer? Right?
-
I know? And God knows repent. Now.
-
The thing about it is, right, many of us when
-
we think about repent, some of us might have this
-
understanding that repent beans Wow, I feel really bad about this.
-
Yeah, I feel guilty. I'm sorry.
-
I'm sorry as long as I see I'm sorry, I
-
repent that, right, Cory not.
-
Uh uh uh no, right?
-
You know that repentance is not just about saying sorry.
-
It's like, you know, if I go to someone, right,
-
and then I kick them.
-
On the shin. Oh sorry, rights, violiner. You don't know.
-
I saw violent.
-
Barnica didn't put it into my you know, just now
-
as she was reading violent. Also, so if if you know,
-
and then if I kick someone on the shin and
-
it's a sorry, sorry, right, and then I kicked again.
-
And I said sorry, sorry, sorry?
-
Is that repentance? I say sorry ten thousand times? Because
-
why Jesus say, how many times must you forgive your
-
brother who's seen against you? How many times? It depends her?
-
Oh this son is a different theology.
-
Wish Bible. You're reading her?
-
Tell me about it, doctor Jason. Depends on what Oh okay,
-
he went mathematical, right, So he says, say seven by seven,
-
some say seventy by seven. Oh okay, okay, so the
-
mets will come up differently. But was that what was
-
the point that Jesus was trying to bring Huh, I
-
keep forgiving also, okay, so can we agree that we
-
just keep forgiving?
-
Right? So the fiftieth time is even seven times seven? Right?
-
The fifty time?
-
Okay, I can I forgive you realia? According to doctor
-
just please do not cross him fifty times, okay, because
-
you will stop forgiving you.
-
No kidding, kidding.
-
So the thing is right if I go on that
-
theology and I just say, oh, but Jesus says, you
-
can you know you need to forgive me ma, right?
-
And I just keep continuing offending or being violent to Adeline.
-
Cha say, for example, I keep her so many times
-
ouch ouch, right, beloved college.
-
Does that mean I have repented? Right?
-
I just say I'm so sorry. Really I didn't mean it,
-
and I still keep doing it. No, right, So this
-
word repent comes from this Greek word called meta. No, yeah, okay,
-
but before that, you know this word meta. What do
-
you know what meta means? A Facebook?
-
Yeah? Correct? Facebook? Huh? Okay?
-
Basically right, this word meta in the Greek original, it
-
means change, right, having a change.
-
Okay.
-
Now the other word that you're all familiar with is
-
meta morphosis.
-
Yes, what does that mean? Yes? Mata.
-
Okay, let's go to metamorphosis first. Okay, that one your
-
father can answer you on a Sorry, what is metamorphosis?
-
You change a transformation, right.
-
The morph is is a form, So you're changing form
-
from a worm alar popa to a beautiful butterfly. Correct,
-
So that's what meta morphossis is. But what about meta noya?
-
So meta noya? And when Jesus was saying repent, right,
-
he didn't say can you please change from a worm
-
to a butterfly? He didn't say metamorph He said meta noa.
-
And what that means is change your mind. Change your mind.
-
Let's go to the next slide. It means change your understanding,
-
change your perception. So Jesus came straight away on the
-
ground and he slays, whatever it is, guys, I.
-
Need you change your mind right now.
-
Changing of our mindset is the key to understanding what
-
the Kingdom of God is all about, because we all
-
have an understanding of what Kingdom of God means. But
-
Jesus says, I am the Kingdom and I want I
-
need you to change your mind about everything and about me.
-
Do you know that until someone changes their mind about
-
who Jesus is, they will never repent that they will.
-
Never accept him as their personal lot and savior. True,
-
not because they have a mindset. Who's Jesus? Yeah he
-
is a good teacher. Who's Jesus? Yeah he was dead?
-
Who's Jesus? I don't know.
-
He was probably just a good teacher and philosopher. But
-
they don't understand that. No, Jesus is Lord. Do you
-
know that it requires a mindset change to come to
-
this point to say, yes, I acknowledge that Jesus is
-
my Lord and my savior.
-
It doesn't mean you're you.
-
You experience something in your heart like you you felt something,
-
but it was a mindset change, and Jesus was all about.
-
Changing people's perception and mindset. Amen.
-
So I don't know what you think about Jesus, but
-
we want to glean from him and why he's This
-
is so important.
-
Okay, So we tackle the word kingdom, right? What is kingdom?
-
Someone in authority and someone who has people to rule over.
-
We understand repent It means changing of our mindset about something. Right,
-
So Jesus is going change your mindset because the kingdom
-
of Heaven.
-
Is at hand. Now do you ever use this word? Hey?
-
You know later the postman whatever that delivery is at hand?
-
You ever say this not hardly right? What does it
-
mean at hand? What does this mean at hand? No? No, yeah,
-
no no yet? Well what does it mean to be
-
at hand? Something is at hand? What does Jesus mean
-
when he says the Kingdom of Heaven or the Kingdom
-
of God is at hand? What does it means?
-
Nearby means is it now? Is it now? Already near?
-
But not yet?
-
Okay, So it means right, let's go to the So
-
it means to bring near and to approach and to
-
draw near. And what came to my mind as I
-
was thinking about this illustration is can you see this
-
person trying to reach out? It's like you see the tree,
-
you see the fruit that's there, but can you reach it.
-
Hard?
-
You can see it's like so near, yet so far right,
-
And the same is true for the Kingdom of Heaven.
-
Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. It's near enough for you.
-
To see it, taste it, touch it, but it's not
-
full and complete yet.
-
Understand what and why I say that?
-
It's because I can testify that it's some parts.
-
In our lives.
-
The Kingdom of God is here through not in what ways?
-
In what ways do you experience the Kingdom of God
-
now here right now.
-
Exactly?
-
You know, the testimony that we heard just now of healing,
-
that is the Kingdom of Heaven at work right now,
-
happening right now, all the healing testimonies that you heart,
-
all the breakthroughths that you've experienced in your own life,
-
the heart change you've experienced from someone who's like, so
-
you know, you can be so hard and now you're like, Okay,
-
I have more patience with my wife.
-
I have more patience with my husband. Right.
-
That is the Kingdom of God at hand right now
-
you're experiencing it.
-
But then there is also the part that it's not.
-
Fool yet, right because you still getting patient with your child,
-
because you still lose your temper and honk at the
-
person who cut your lane.
-
And curse the person. Ah.
-
Right, so violent, actually, I feel so so violent today.
-
But you see, we are in the limbo, right. Jesus
-
came to earth and he says, the Kingdom of Heaven
-
is here, is at hand, and he's trying to tell
-
us that you can see some glimpses of the heaven,
-
the Kingdom of heaven on earth, but you're not experiencing
-
the fullness of it yet understand agree or not agreea
-
do you try along with me?
-
Ah? Okay, so now let's move on. Let's move on. Okay. Now,
-
what is some of the ways of the kingdom? Right?
-
And can I tell you that the Gospels are the
-
best way to understand the Kingdom of Heaven?
-
Right?
-
How many of you have read the Gospel right through before?
-
Some of you? Right? The thing is right. My question
-
to us is how we.
-
Know how to live as a citizen in the Kingdom
-
of Heaven if we don't know the rules? Do not
-
If you go to Singapore, my dear friends, and then
-
you're chewing your gum, what's gonna happen to you?
-
Nothing yet? But what if you brought.
-
In like ten kilos of chewing gum? What will happened
-
to you? You have officially broken a law and you
-
can get fine, right, But the problem is if you
-
didn't know and you just went and like, hey, let
-
me bring like because you've got no chewing gum? Right,
-
posting up oariance, let me bring from Malaysia, I bring
-
ten kilos or chewing gum, and you bring in through
-
the customs.
-
Guess what you'll get caught because you didn't know the rules. Right.
-
And the thing is right, we many times as Christians,
-
as citizens of heaven, we don't know the rules of heaven.
-
And so, Jesus, do you know that what I did
-
was I read through the entire Gospel.
-
In one thing, I'm like, oh, speed reading through. And
-
I realized.
-
That everything that Jesus thought, Okay, So if you read
-
through the Gospel of Matthew, write every rad thing that
-
you see, every rad word is the word of Jesus, right.
-
And I realized that what Jesus was trying to do
-
was he was just trying to tell all of us
-
how to prepare ourselves.
-
To be citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. And so,
-
my dear friends, if we.
-
Don't read the Word of God, how are you going
-
to prepare many of you?
-
Right?
-
When you want to go to Japan? Now, I think
-
in July on words, you have to pay like some
-
bizarre thing, right, I just got.
-
To know, ah, each person like four hundred in right. Ah.
-
So if you never read about the regulations, you never
-
apply for your visa. Do you think when you reach there,
-
you're like, oh, I flew in first class.
-
What do you think the customs will do? You?
-
Bye, Regato, because I must go back to your country.
-
You're denied entrance, you know, because you did not know
-
what you were supposed to do. And do you know
-
that Jesus actually said this warning in Matthew seven and
-
is really sobering.
-
He says, let's go to it.
-
Don't just take my word for it, Let's go to
-
Matthew seven. Matthew seven right, verse twenty one. And Jesus
-
was saying this Matthew seven, twenty one. Not everyone who
-
says to me, Lord Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven,
-
but he who does the will of my father in
-
heaven verse twenty two. Many will say to me in
-
that day, Lord Lord, have we not prophesied in your name?
-
Have we not cast out demons in your name? And
-
done many wonders in your name?
-
And then I will declare to them, I never knew you.
-
Depart from you from me, you who practice lawlessness verse
-
twenty four. Therefore, whoever hears these things on mine XPJ
-
are you hearing the word of Jesus. Whoever hears these
-
things on mine and does them, I will liken him
-
to a wise man who built his house on the rock,
-
and then he went on to say, are you wise
-
or are you unwise?
-
Right?
-
So, do you know that you can be serving in church?
-
You can be attending ex church, be the most faithful
-
for twenty years, and then do everything. You know, these
-
people cast out demons? Have you cast out demons?
-
Head prophesied in Jesus' name? Heal people? And then to
-
come to meet with Jesus. And Jesus says, apart from me,
-
I never knew you because you did all these things.
-
And this is a warning to us as Christians.
-
We can be preaching God what we can do everything,
-
but until we do what God wants us to do,
-
then we will not be known by the Lord.
-
You see that, and we will be disqualified from entering. Hello.
-
I know some of you say, but I really say
-
the sinner's prayer. Isn't it a guarantee that I will
-
go to Heaven? Right? Hang on a moment, Hang on
-
a moment. This is your life. Reflect whatever you say.
-
Do you know you can say the salvation prayer one
-
hundred times right, But if you are the son of
-
the devil, or you behave like the son of the devil.
-
What would Jesus say to you, don't give.
-
Me cheap words? A true not.
-
Jesus don't means his words one. You know, he's like,
-
don't play play with me. Okay, Jesus is so serious,
-
He's like, don't play play with me. Whatever I say
-
it bears waits. And so, friends, I want to encourage us.
-
Can we not take the word of God?
-
Likely? Don't?
-
Don't think that the Bible is just like, oh, if
-
I got time, I readler.
-
Hey, you want to go through heaven? Right, you want
-
to be a citizen of heaven?
-
And I think you better start studying this book, man,
-
because if you don't study the book, you wouldn't know
-
what is expected of you, how to behave in the
-
Kingdom of Heaven.
-
Right. And for me, it's like wow.
-
And that's why when you see the Bible verses, right,
-
when you read through all all these things, right, blessed
-
are the poor in spirit?
-
Because who is the kingdom of heaven? Yes? Do you
-
have a poor in spirit attitude? Friends?
-
Or did you come in thinking like, ah, yeah, I
-
heard it already, la, I know it right, I already
-
heard this message so many times. Ready, and we might be,
-
you know, just letting.
-
This passes by. But do we have this attitude of
-
being poor in our spirits.
-
Just saying God, I need you, God, I want your help,
-
I need your help. You see that because God says
-
to them belong the Kingdom of Heaven. Anyone else who
-
thinks that they're too good for God?
-
You know the answer to that.
-
It says, again, blessed adultse who are persecuted for righteousness sake. Wow,
-
how many of you feel like you're being persecuted for
-
your faith? Be encouraged. Jesus say, it's okay, yours is
-
the Kingdom of Heaven. You are being persecuted just like me.
-
Jesus said.
-
You know that Jesus was persecuted, and that's what the
-
message of the Cross is. He was persecuted for our sakes.
-
And he says, when you follow me, when you are
-
being persecuted for standing up for your faith, for saying,
-
you know I have principles, I will not you know,
-
miss Sunday, I will serve God, I will pray, I
-
will fast. You are and then you're being persecuted for that.
-
Jesus is okay, you're very near the Kingdom of heaven
-
very near. Just continue, don't give up.
-
You see her.
-
You know, I was talking to a friend and we
-
were talking about the laws of the Bible.
-
It feels like.
-
There's a lot of laws in the Bible, true or not.
-
How many of you are like laws? No? Oh, only
-
Timmy likes loss Near is the kingdom of heaven for Timmy.
-
You we don't like laws because you know why, we
-
feel that laws restrict us. You know, it just crams
-
our style, you know, when you want to live the
-
way we want to live, you know, freely, however, like
-
worship whatever, you know, that kind of thing. We don't
-
like law. But do you know that laws are there
-
to keep you safe? Can you imagine Malaysia? Good country,
-
beautiful country, There are no traffic laws. Everybody you drive
-
as you like. How many people like that? What will happen?
-
Hey? Oss right?
-
There will be accidents upon accidents upon accidents because nobody
-
follows the law. Everyone does whatever they want. And so
-
you know, by theory, laws are good for you. But
-
you know what's causing you to kick against this law.
-
It's a sick nature within us.
-
Remember in the Garden of Eden, God gave one law
-
on one law to poor Adam and Eve? What was
-
the one law? Don't touch this fruit?
-
Law?
-
Right? The thousand trees.
-
Nine hundred and nineteen nine nine, niney nine for you
-
to touch and eat? Now, then I say, don't eat
-
this one.
-
What do you do? You want to touch? La? You don't?
-
The same thing?
-
Right, don't do this I want to do. Don't touch
-
that I want to touch? Do you recognize that in us?
-
Same thing, same thing with Adam and Eve? Right, So
-
the laws have been broken. And so when you think
-
about it, right, well, old test the.
-
Ma now mosaic law? Oh test how many laws are there?
-
You think ten? Ten? Ten laws? Only? Right? You're not?
-
You know there's only one God? Do not use his
-
name in vain? Do you know even the ten laws? Friends?
-
So if you don't know the laws, how are we
-
supposed to abide by them? True or not? Now?
-
I tell you are mosaic laws? Got six hundred and
-
thirteen loss. That's a lot, right. And then Jesus came
-
and say the law was there to show you how
-
crooked you are, because none of you can keep all
-
the laws.
-
And that's why I had to come. Right, But do
-
you know what.
-
I find very interesting, right, How many if you if
-
you dissectrue the whole New Testament, how many laws or
-
commandments you think Jesus gave and the apostles as well?
-
How many?
-
Only?
-
Two? Okay? What is the two? Sorry? Hey, what's the
-
first one? Yeah? Do you all know the two greatest commandments?
-
Love the Law your God with all your heart, your mind,
-
your soul, and your strength.
-
Do you do that already this morning? You love God
-
with all of you? And what is the second commandment?
-
Love your neighbor as yourself? Upon all the other comments
-
hang this law? But can I tell you the expression
-
of those two laws are found in about a thousand
-
other commandments in the New Testament if you picture everything
-
that Jesus sayer, there's actually one thousand over commandments. You know,
-
because and he gave us a summary. Because if you
-
can act in love, you are acting in accordance to that.
-
You know what is acting in love? In the Old
-
Testament says you shall not murder?
-
True or not?
-
Any murderers here, none that I know, Thank you Jesus.
-
Otherwise I will still visit you in the prison.
-
Don't worry. None of us have committed murder.
-
But Jesus' standards of law, he went to say, But
-
I say to you, whoever is angry with his brother
-
without a cause shall be in danger of judgment.
-
Do you know that jesus standards are higher? Way higher?
-
Another one is do not commit adultere right in the
-
Old Testament. What about Jesus' commandments? He says, whoever looks
-
at a woman with last in his eyes has already
-
committed adultery with her in his heart. Wow, Jesus, your
-
standard is too much, Okay? And I look at at
-
least she's so beautiful, right, and then the thoughts come.
-
But you see, the thing is right.
-
Jesus is giving us all these ways because he is
-
after holiness. Do you know that the Kingdom of Heaven
-
is all about holiness?
-
And we don't think much about holiness. We're trying to survive,
-
your God, right, all of us. We're on survival mode.
-
We're just trying to get to day today, today, today?
-
How many of us actually think about being holy? If
-
you're not thinking about being holy, maybe.
-
You're not kingdom minded? Do you see that?
-
Because being kingdom minded is being what God the King
-
once in our lives?
-
Right, we say, yeah, God, is the king of all
-
my decisions? True or not?
-
Is your decision one that is built on righteousness, built
-
on justice, built on being considerate.
-
Of your neighbor.
-
But you see the things that all of us have
-
fallen away from this, and I want to tell you this, right,
-
So let's move on. Let's move on to the next light.
-
Now why does it matter? Why does it matter? Why
-
is the kingdom? I told you about what is kingdom? Right,
-
so you should know what is the kingdom already. Now
-
why does it matter? Let's go to the next one. Now,
-
can I give you going back to Genesis right, Genesis
-
one twenty eight, okay, And this was an illustration given
-
to us by Passer Kenneth to our.
-
Leaders early this year. So leaders, if you were there,
-
then I hope you will remember what this is. Okay.
-
So let's read the.
-
Commandment together and actually will help me and the slide
-
is gonna help us read it.
-
Okay, So let's move on to the next one. Let's
-
read this together.
-
Then God bless them, and God said to them, be
-
fruitful and multiply feel the earth and subdue it, and
-
have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the
-
birds of the air, and over every living thing that
-
moves on the earth. Okay, you got to drift, and
-
let's do that again. Yo Yo didn't follow me.
-
Maybe I'm in the way, So we go plot wise. Okay, ready,
-
three to one.
-
Then God bless them, and God said to them, be
-
fruitful and multiply feel the earth and subdue it. Have
-
dominion over the fish of the sea, over the bursts
-
of the air, on over every living thing that moves
-
on the earth. Okay, do you know that this is
-
God's common Have we been fulfilling this? We have been
-
fruitful to a certain extent. And there is multiplication, right,
-
That's why from two persons now there's eight billion of us.
-
So I think we have been there. Now we have
-
filed the earth. But have we subdued the earth?
-
Not yet? Right?
-
Do we have dominion over that? All the fish of
-
the sea, the living creatures and all that? Not yet right?
-
And the thing is right to have kingdom mindedness, right
-
to have kingdom here on earth. We need sons and
-
daughters to do this. Who can multiply in your own family?
-
Right?
-
Let's say passer Elvin right, and he wants to multiply,
-
and then he has his kids, Timmy and Elijah. Right, well,
-
his cat, if he has a cat, be able to
-
carry his DNA. No, only Paster, Elvin and Jess are
-
able to reproduce of themselves more to be able to
-
pass on the DNA.
-
Correct. Not, So we're doing DNA stuff here right now?
-
You see the thing is all of this plan. Yes,
-
what this was before the fall? Right? When did the
-
fall happen? Dennis is three? Then this is one. Everything
-
was good.
-
God gave his commandment because God is a good God,
-
and he says, do all these things. Because what he
-
wanted to do was he wanted to spread badness.
-
Is that true? He wanted to spread evil? That was
-
God's plan.
-
You want to spread brokenness and darkness over the land.
-
No, right, God wanted to spread goodness. He wanted to
-
spread lights.
-
He wanted to spread more of himself to the whole earth.
-
Now let's go to this charge. This church is very important.
-
Let's go to the next light. No, because God is
-
so good, he wanted to share it. And do you
-
know that the song that we sang just now, Kingdom
-
of Heaven by extraish one, we will sing that again later.
-
It says that our father in heaven true not we
-
call God our father? And what does that make us children?
-
Spiritual sons and daughters of God?
-
Right? And when you know, some people ask, right, if
-
she wants the purpose of human being? Are whitey? God
-
create human beings for me?
-
It's as simple as God was so good that he
-
wanted to share his goodness with others, and therefore he
-
already had.
-
A perfect family. Do you think about it?
-
God, the father, got the son, got there, happy huddle.
-
Why need all of us?
-
Right?
-
But because God is so good and so generous, he says,
-
I want to create others who is made in our
-
made in our image, to share the goodness that I have.
-
That's what a good father is. Right.
-
Fathers here, you know, if you go and buy one
-
kilo of salmon, right, because now very cheap in Jia Grossa,
-
you can go and buy.
-
You're not gonna lie.
-
I'm gonna eat the whole salmon by myself. You buy
-
because you're thinking of sharing with your family and your
-
neighbors and all that.
-
Right, And so.
-
We God wanted to share it, and he wanted to
-
give it to his sons and daughters who are made
-
in the image of God.
-
Are we here So far are we go? So far? Okay?
-
Now what happened then? To the image? Then it is true?
-
What happened? Sin? Sin? What is sin?
-
Do sin broke us? We now have a broken image. Yes,
-
we are still made in the image of God. But
-
when I see others, I see glimpses of the old
-
image of God.
-
But I still see brokenness. You see that.
-
Now I see broken people. And that's why broken people
-
live among us. And that's why the Kingdom of Heaven
-
is not yet, because there are still broken people all
-
around us that will hurt you, that will say the
-
wrong thing to you, that will annoy you, that will
-
cut you trou not. We live with broken people friends,
-
and so if we don't understand it, we'll get very
-
angry God. Why don't you just you know, someone said
-
this me recently. She said, why don't God just wipe
-
out all the bad people? That? Maybe my prayer be God,
-
you just wipe up all the bad people? Is that
-
is that a good prayer?
-
I told her, Wow, then I'm also not here? Then
-
you also not here? Really? Low?
-
Hey?
-
Hello?
-
No?
-
Or not?
-
You think just because I'm a Christian that I'm all
-
better than the rest we're all broken in nature, you know,
-
and so I if the prayer is God, you'll wipe
-
away all the broken people and then gone all of you,
-
all of you God, Bye bye. No need have church
-
really because of the brokenness in us now.
-
It is because of this brokenness that's why we need
-
a savior. You see that, This is how you should
-
be preaching your gospel to your friends.
-
Yeah, you don't start with God is good, it's not
-
we repent because the Kingdom of Heaven is a hen right,
-
start with the original sin, with why we need Jesus?
-
Do you know that your friends will never come to
-
Jesus if everything in their life is going well, why
-
do I need God? I'm rich, I'm healthy, you know
-
my life is picture perfect on ig.
-
Why do I need God? There is no need, There
-
is no case. If you want to bring forward a case, then.
-
You have to bring sin into the picture, right, And
-
sin is very real if you really get down to it, right,
-
it is sinner, right, and so because we need a savior,
-
and that's.
-
What Jesus is.
-
You see what sin that did to us, right, was
-
we were supposed to be sons and daughters of God.
-
We became slaves.
-
Do you know that you're not slave, if you're not
-
a son or a daughter of God, you're a slave
-
to your old self. You're a sin to your slave
-
to sin and brokenness. The other thing that sin, what
-
it did and what it robbed the way from us
-
is our stewardship. You know, we're supposed to.
-
Have dominion over the land. We're supposed to rule over
-
with justice and love. What happened now?
-
Any kind of ruling system in the world right now,
-
right is broken?
-
Right.
-
Look at America, great power, Look at our own country.
-
We might be going into elections soon, very soon.
-
T not so that there isn't that doesn't seem to
-
be a very good way of governance by humans. Anything
-
that human touched right will become corrupted. Do you know
-
that everything that we touch that is good, it becomes corrupted.
-
Do you know that music is good? God created music good?
-
But do you know in the hands of men is
-
become corrupted? And so what we're trying to do is
-
you're trying to redeem back for God what is good?
-
Right is restoring So from stewardship all of us, when
-
we're supposed to be thinking about taking care of God, kingdom.
-
We've become God. Forget about your kingdom. I just want
-
to build my kingdom. Oh right, Well, everything that you do,
-
you think about your last.
-
Twenty four hour decisions. How many of it was made
-
for yourself?
-
Yeah? Me included? Right, And so.
-
Because of the sinningness, right, we are just thinking about ourselves.
-
We've lost our stewardship over this land, we've lost our authority,
-
and we become slaves to our selfishness. And so the
-
Savior comes. What is the job of the Savior to
-
save us?
-
Right?
-
But do you know that it doesn't stop at decisions
-
and salvation. You know, sometimes we're like, yeah, the person
-
say salvation prayer, yes, and that's it, right, But God
-
said no, no, no, no, The plan is not complete yet, friends,
-
The plan is not complete with a prayer, with a
-
salvation prayer, with a decision. We are not here in
-
axt church. I'm telling you now, DNA stuff. We are
-
not here to make decisions. We are here to make disciples.
-
Because at the end of the day, let's go to
-
the next one. What God wan and what God intended
-
for it to be. If you read from Genesis all
-
the way to Revelation, what is God's aame? What is
-
Jesus aim sons and daughters?
-
God One's sons and daughters back.
-
He did not just want a salvation, He did not
-
just want church attendance. He wanted sons and daughters back
-
into his kingdom. Because when we are born again, you
-
see that even the terminology of being birth again, being
-
born again, it means heritage, it means lineage, it means
-
DNA stuff.
-
Right, It means that we want to be like God
-
again in his original image that he created us restored.
-
Would you like to see that restored? I want to
-
be restored without going through pain and shame, right, and
-
just say.
-
God, I'm completely at peace with who you are.
-
And that's what that's what this is. Are you tracking
-
with me? Okay?
-
Now let's continue. Let's continue. It is sons and daughters
-
that can fulfill this true not can a hireling do
-
this for you and someone who just you know, like, okay,
-
I pay some musicians to come and worship for us.
-
Do you know in some other countries that's what they do,
-
musicians for hire in church. So they come, they're like
-
like SESSIONI isla right, I just play oh very good.
-
Then after that I get paid and then I go
-
to another church.
-
Right, we don't believe in that, because we believe in
-
raising what do you call it? Sons and daughters? Are
-
you a son and a daughter of this house? What
-
do sons and daughters do? You don't come and Okay,
-
Like there's two types of al Right, there's a sports
-
sons and daughters that comes in and.
-
Say, oh, Daddy, mommy, what's dinner for me? Right?
-
And then they are the sons and daughters that come
-
home and say, mommy and Daddy, what can I do
-
for you?
-
Whoa different? Right?
-
And so God wants to transform us, not just sons
-
and daughters who are entitled in his house, but sons
-
and daughters who are matured.
-
Okay, let's move on. Let's move on to the next light.
-
Because sons and daughters disciples.
-
We are here to make disciples who are walking in
-
the ways of the Lord. You know what discipleship is, Right,
-
There's gonna be another core value called discipleship focused. So
-
I'm gonna leave that to that session. But it really
-
just means that you are talking like Jesus, you are
-
walking like Jesus, you are thinking like Jesus.
-
You are feeling like Jesus. How many of you.
-
Can say that I know what Jesus thinks about this?
-
Some of you, very honest, I don't know what Jesus
-
thinks about it?
-
Can I tell you? Friends?
-
Jesus already tells us what he thinks about things. He
-
already told us what he thinks about greed. He tells
-
us what he thinks about adultery. He told us what
-
he thinks about selfishness, unforgiveness.
-
Do you not know what Jesus thinks? It's here?
-
And so that's why I'm so passionate about getting people. Guys,
-
you gotta get into God's word yourself. You know, you
-
cannot rely on a forty minute session on a Sunday
-
to know what Jesus is thinking in your day to
-
day life. You got to get into God's word for yourself.
-
And she said, Jesus, what are you thinking about this?
-
Jesus is I will tell you. I will tell you.
-
I will tell you God you can do everything, but
-
not everything is beneficial for you.
-
Jesus will tell you that how I know is the
-
word of God.
-
Right, So, so I want this to be like you know,
-
gung Ho, Can you be gung ho. Hello friends, if
-
you want to be gung ho about something, a big
-
gung ho about God's word, be gung ho about the
-
Kingdom of God and just say God, Wow naw. Because
-
the value is not just kingdom, not knowing the kingdom,
-
but it's kingdom minded, meaning you are constantly thinking about
-
the kingdom. You're thinking about how to expand the Kingdom
-
of God. Right many of us, you know, when we
-
talk about like let's reach out to more, we're not
-
thinking business. You know, we were just thinking, okay, this
-
is a church leader's job. But you when you are
-
kingdom minded, when you're thinking about God's kingdom, what is
-
the kingdom the business.
-
Right needs to grow through.
-
Not all of you want your business to grow right
-
so you can earn more, But what.
-
About God's business?
-
The Kingdom of God's business right that needs to grow
-
that needs to be profitable. Are we profitable now in
-
now doing our church? Think about it? Evaluate your own life.
-
Am I profitable as a Christian? Have I expanded God's kingdom?
-
Have I taken dominion over my workplace and brought Christ
-
into the center of my work? That is what being
-
kingdom minded is. Yeah, So being Kingdom minded.
-
What is it?
-
Number one is to bring God's kingdom to earth through
-
sons and daughters. It's not just true the worker, It's
-
not just true the pit hiring.
-
It's sons and daughters that God wants. Amen. Send to
-
your neighbor and say you are God's son or daughter?
-
Yeah you are?
-
And you know what, I think we need to rise
-
up to that calling and that heritage that we have.
-
We are really God's son, we are God's daughter. And
-
why do we live? You know, as though we don't
-
have a father.
-
What Jesus says, I will not leave you as orphans, right,
-
I will give you the Holy Spirit. And that's why spirit,
-
that the Holy Spirit is here to help us remember
-
that we.
-
Are sons and daughters of God. Amen. Amen. Now, Kingdom
-
of God being kingdom minded? Is that right? That means
-
we want to bring God's kingdom here on earth. Do
-
you know that? Do you know that you can actually
-
live heaven on earth? Do you believe that? Yeah? Yes,
-
Because some of us, thinking that this.
-
World is so broken and so tarm cannot change, already hopeless,
-
and we say okay, never mind, never mind, da radda,
-
I will just wait until Jesus come back and I'll
-
be in heaven.
-
That's one mindset. But do you know right now, our
-
job and our role is to bring God's kingdom here
-
on earth?
-
And how do you do that? When you obey God's command?
-
When you turn your left cheek to the other person,
-
when the person slaps you on the right cheek, that's
-
one way or showing gods kreedom.
-
When you're able to hold.
-
Your tongue even though you have a very sharp one,
-
and you think you're better than others Philippines too, is
-
what I always meditate on. Be humble, think of others
-
better than yourself. WHOA So then I'm That's where humility
-
comes in and that's what I try to live by.
-
It's to say, no, I'm not better than you. I'm
-
you know, I have a different thought from you. It
-
does not mean I'm better than you. And that gives
-
me room to be empathetic. That gives me room to
-
be compassionate. And that's how I relate to others.
-
Do you see that? And then people are like, yeah,
-
actually I can talk to you.
-
Reason we're not fighting, you see. The thing is that
-
the problem is we're always fighting each other what we
-
should be fighting is we should be fighting the problem together.
-
Husbands and wife don't fight each other.
-
You want if you want to fight, or you fight
-
the problem, but you make.
-
Sure that you stay close to each other.
-
Yeah, aspiring couple, we're gonna get married soon. Give you
-
some pro tip, marriage advisor. Don't fight each other, fight
-
the problem together, and that's how you experience kingdom on Earth.
-
You can have a good, happy, fruitful marriage.
-
You can. Hello, we can say to your if you're married,
-
I to tell your husband, we can make heaven on earth.
-
Whoa you can? That's God's promise. Okay, yeah, do you
-
get that? Do you know what it means now to
-
be kingdom minded, to be so caught up and so
-
focused on God's kingdom and his ways in your own
-
lives and bringing an impact to others? Do you know
-
that the first thing that God wanted to restore was
-
our identity? Do you know that identity? We talk about
-
sons and daughters. Hello, sons and daughters of God Most High.
-
God is restoring your identity first. And when he restores
-
your identity, then he sends forth all his sons and
-
daughters to make an impact. Two words identity is one.
-
And once you understand your identity, you understand your authority,
-
then you will be able to make the difference. You
-
will make that impact in the life of and they
-
will go like, WHOA, you prayed for me and I
-
got here? Isn't that kingdom of heaven on earth? It
-
is God's power?
-
Right?
-
The kingdom of heaven is God's power as well. So,
-
so we want to be so kingdom minded and not
-
earthly minded.
-
Right.
-
One last thing and I want to end with this,
-
is this being kingdom minded is another part. It's not
-
just about ex Church. Tell your neighbor, it's not just
-
about ex Church. No, we're not here to build a brand.
-
And Past is very very strong with this. He's like,
-
we are not here to build a branding called ex Church.
-
We are here thinking about the larger church.
-
Right. Kingdom kingdom means all believers. Why not, It's not
-
that just God will bless ex Church. You need God
-
will bless all his churches. Amen.
-
And so come on if you belong to act. This
-
is something that we really believe in. Whatever that we
-
have received, we freely give whatever God has downloaded upon us. Right,
-
the truth, the teachings and you know that over twenty
-
six years of extous life, Pastor Kenneth had received so
-
much from the Lord that he says, it's just not
-
for us.
-
If it works, let's share it with the other churches.
-
And you will see in this next picture that this
-
is where Pastor was in one of the other churches
-
in Sarawak. He was actually teaching the theology of leadership, right,
-
how many of you have been through the theology of leadership,
-
really solid teaching on leadership.
-
And he's like, it's not just for us.
-
He's done it with the Methodist Church in Penang as well,
-
because you're like, we need some answers and passus like, yeah,
-
this is the answer God gave us, and we want
-
to share this with you.
-
You know. The other expression of.
-
Being keener minded is how many of you have been
-
to our subam prairie rallies.
-
Subam prairie rallies.
-
You can see the next picture this is us And
-
do you know that in the combination of this church
-
rallies right? Sometimes right, it could be fifteen churches, but
-
probably less than fifty people turn up. That's it fixed
-
a lot lower. But do you know, but us always
-
says let us rally our people and show support, show
-
support because we want to bring encouragement to the other churches.
-
We want to let everyone know that we are family.
-
Do you know that I spoke to in the another
-
church recently, right, and I just said, you know, I
-
was just so blessing with them, because one day I
-
will see you in heaven.
-
Tell her what are you talking about? But it's true, No,
-
one day when we are worshiping.
-
The Lord, King of Kings, Lord Lord, you think it's
-
only actious people there.
-
I hope, Sola se In.
-
I hope that you are there representing yourself and at right,
-
but there will be a multitude, you know, from all
-
across the world, believers who are true believers, worshiping the
-
lot together. And so for me right, the Kingdom is larger.
-
It's much bigger than us.
-
Friends. Do you know that.
-
Invite the team Extreme Team to come on? Do you
-
know that there's another you know, doctor Chan and Selene
-
they're heading over to Sarahwat to Bintulu and.
-
They're not going to start a church there.
-
You're not starting an ex church there because there's a
-
church there of which the pastor had just passed on
-
and they had no leadership, and so Pastor's heart in
-
being Kingdom minded was let's bring our people to support
-
that church there, let them go and be a blessing
-
to the church and man. So being Kingdom minded is
-
we want to be a blessing to others around us.
-
Amen. Amen, hallelujah.
-
We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
-
information on our church, please visit a church do RG.

We are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing
-
that this week is going to be a good week

God bless
