  1. You're listening to a message to go from AXTS church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. So this morning we are doing co value number six

  4. and it's prayer powered. You know, I'm probably the least

  5. qualified person to talk on prayer. The reason is because

  6. I do not consider myself one of those prayer warriors.

  7. You know, I do not consider myself to be in

  8. the league of uh you know, some of our great

  9. leaders in ex church. But I will say this, I'm

  10. a great conversationalist with a lot you know. I talked

  11. to him about everything, and I guess how I've seen

  12. that work is it qualifies as prayer. And I hope

  13. that by the end of this session you'll be encouraged

  14. to pray to the Lord more. Okay, now, we as

  15. believers do not just believe in the power of prayer.

  16. We don't because we believe.

  17. That prayer is what powers us. How many of you

  18. know that the you know, when you go you go

  19. to a petrol station, the what is it called the

  20. nozzle that fills up your petrol doesn't care whether you

  21. use it or not. Does it care if you don't

  22. use that nozzle? Will you get the patrol of power

  23. your vehicle. No, so the onness is on who to

  24. use that nozzle.

  25. Onness is on us.

  26. You see, if you take God like that patrol dispensing machine,

  27. it's there. If you don't use it, you won't benefit.

  28. If you don't use it, you won't grow. If you

  29. don't use it, you won't be blessed. So we run

  30. away from prayer. And I don't know why, maybe because

  31. we think prayer. You know, how many of you see

  32. these shows where the monks, you know, the Christian monks

  33. go to this place and then they don't talk to

  34. anybody and there in their room, and they're paying twenty

  35. four hours a day. Maybe that's why we fear prayer,

  36. you know. But if we realize that prayer is nothing

  37. more than conversation with God Almighty, perhaps we will change

  38. our way of thinking. Many of you have heard testimonies,

  39. have shared so many times before. Then every time I

  40. go to a buffet, I think you will love me

  41. at a buffet.

  42. You know why not?

  43. You will be watching me very carefully what I take

  44. and what I don't take. Because as I'm walking past

  45. the buffy line, I talk to the Lord, say Lord,

  46. what about this this is good?

  47. Is that good? Is this good? Is that good?

  48. I never listen to my family members. They will tell me, oh,

  49. you got to try this is really great. Come on,

  50. why aren't you trying it? Because my spirit did not

  51. tell me to do so, and I won't no matter

  52. how many people tell me how good it is. And

  53. of course the next day I find out I'm right

  54. now because I'm okay and everybody.

  55. Else is not.

  56. So you see, it pays to talk to the Lord

  57. about things. You know that when we say we believe

  58. in the power of prayer, that is doctrine. No, it's doctrine.

  59. Doctrine is something set in stone said, it's it's legal,

  60. it's something legal, all right. Do you just believe in

  61. the legality of the power prayer or are you looking

  62. at something that is a lived reality?

  63. Guys, I do not believe in.

  64. Theory. Well, theory is good, Okay, I'm not saying theory

  65. is bad, but theory for the sake of theory is

  66. just sad. You want to see theory work in your life,

  67. don't you. You want to see great things happen in

  68. your life, don't you.

  69. Guys?

  70. We got this rat problem in the house Okay, it's

  71. not in the house. Okay, rats are not in the house.

  72. My house is sealed against rats. No rat can enter

  73. my house. Seriously. But the problem is there's nothing I

  74. can do to stop them from going in the ceiling.

  75. How do they go into the ceiling?

  76. Well, you know, nowadays all houses are connected by sewers, right,

  77. so they actually run up the sewer and then you know,

  78. if you go to the house, you see that pipe

  79. sticking out the ceiling, and that pipe is actually enclosed

  80. with a concrete wall. The rats actually run up that

  81. and get into your ceiling. And really it's like they're

  82. playing music in your bedroom. It's like the drums just

  83. multiply the sound. You can't sleep. They disturb you, they

  84. drive you crazy. So what do we do about it?

  85. We just do nothing. We pray say Lord, Help, Lord Help,

  86. And you know, after praying something simple like that, the

  87. Lord will just put an eye and say in my head,

  88. why didn't you try this? Now my old house, what

  89. I did was I went into the roof and I

  90. put Florestan light. And so when I turn on the

  91. Florestan light, the rat doesn't come right. But the rats

  92. are quite smart. They started biting the wire. They're very wired.

  93. Why is the like you know what I told the rat,

  94. I am smarter than you. I have the mind of

  95. the Lord. So what I did was I actually put

  96. the light in a pipe and I hung it in midair.

  97. Try and get that rat. I want. God gives ideas. Hey,

  98. you're smarter than a rat.

  99. This time, what we decided to do was, you know,

  100. because of it's quite difficult my size to go into

  101. the roof. Okay, this is the hole is very small

  102. and for me to pull myself in a little bit difficult. Right,

  103. So this time what I did is I tried signs.

  104. You know what signs. I tried the power sound. So

  105. I bought this thing which I cannot hear, and I

  106. put it in the wall and guess what, it works,

  107. So I don't have to go into the roof. When

  108. you pray and you ask the Lord, he will give

  109. you answers. Guys, I was walking this morning. You know

  110. when I pray, When I preach on a Sunday, it

  111. doesn't come without prayer. You know, because I don't want

  112. to tell you things that are not going to work.

  113. I want the Holy Spirit to reach out to your

  114. heart and say, hey.

  115. If he can do it, so can you.

  116. So I get up early in the morning and I pray,

  117. and I go walking, and I go worshiping the Lord,

  118. and I go tell the Lord, you got to tell

  119. me what to tell them. You got to speak to

  120. me so that I will be able to minister your

  121. word to everybody. So the word that we share doesn't

  122. come without a price. This morning, as I was walking

  123. in the dark before five, going round and round and round,

  124. praying for you, praying that God was going to do something,

  125. and the Lord shared with me a little bit about prayer,

  126. which I will share with you, and perhaps you'll understand

  127. why sometimes it seems a say pressed don't get answered.

  128. It seems when you pray the silence. When you're a baby,

  129. you know your your child, you know, toddler, just learning

  130. to speak. Whatever the child asks, if it's not bad

  131. for them, you'll give fright now. You'll answer their prayer,

  132. their their their speech, their conversation with you, and you'll be.

  133. So nice body.

  134. Yeah, even when it's something bad, you say no, no, no,

  135. this one is not good for you. Why don't I

  136. get you something that like that? You know there's always

  137. an answer, and you can hear it and you can

  138. see it pretty quickly, Craig, when you become born again,

  139. how many of you remember when you first were saved

  140. that almost everything you prayed for you got it straight away?

  141. Do you all remember that time? Am I speaking to

  142. a crowd? That doesn't happen? Doesn't? Do you all agree

  143. with that or not? Can I see a show, Hans?

  144. Do you know why? That is?

  145. Because you were a baby to the Lord, your baby

  146. steps you were.

  147. Taking and he was encouraging. Yeah, my child.

  148. And you know when you wanted something, no, no, no,

  149. I give you something else, but you got something.

  150. So every time you prayed, wow, it happened.

  151. And then you came to this time when you were

  152. a twin. This is before the before the the what

  153. do you call it? Teenagers, before the time. So you're

  154. talking about at nine, eight, nine ten, And do you

  155. know that this was a time of instruction and is

  156. a time where you were teaching the child to reason.

  157. This is why you do so things. This is why

  158. you have to clean your room, this is why. And

  159. you talk to them and you speak to them and

  160. you instruct them. But you notice that during this time

  161. your word is still law. I want you to do

  162. it this way. I want you to do it this way,

  163. and only when you do it this way you'll see results.

  164. How many of you felt like that when you were

  165. growing up that during this time, your parents' word was law.

  166. For those of us that are older, it didn't matter

  167. how old you were, their word was law. You didn't

  168. follow their word, most likely you got knocked on the head.

  169. But for the I'm talking about the millennials and the

  170. newer guys and all that. You know, Yeah, there's there's

  171. a time when you're talking and people are explaining to you.

  172. Do you know that even in the Kingdom of God, there's.

  173. A time like this.

  174. That after you move from the baby time, there's a

  175. time where the word has got to speak into you.

  176. The word has got to get into you. You allow

  177. learning the word. You're learning how to use the word.

  178. So when you pray, sometimes you get your answer and

  179. sometimes you don't. And when you don't, you have to

  180. take the trouble to learn why is it you didn't

  181. get your answer? Have you experienced that before? That is

  182. like your tween time? Eight two twelve. Let me tell

  183. you there are three answers that the Lord always gives.

  184. Yes no, and the one we all dread wait wait

  185. always is the weight comes in you know what no, no,

  186. wit comes in two forms, yes and no, So it's

  187. actually yes, wait, yes, wait, no, yes, no, and then

  188. that silence you gotta you know? Okay, let me tell

  189. you now, okay. If your answer is silence, the answer

  190. is automatically no for now. No need to stress over it,

  191. no need to say God, why you don't answer my prayer?

  192. He's answered you, just that you didn't like the answer.

  193. Why not the many people you've been praying a lot.

  194. I've been praying for a partner for so long. Have

  195. you got one yet? No, that's your answer. Why complicate things?

  196. When the time is right, the answer will come. Why

  197. do you need to be so complicated? So this is

  198. the that that way, Then we come to the teenage years.

  199. The teenage years is where you fight for your right

  200. and most of the time you're wrong.

  201. Why not?

  202. And you'll find during this time the Lord is completely silent,

  203. not a word from him. Why should he answer you?

  204. You don't know how to respect him? You get no response.

  205. So sometimes when we are living our life, we're going

  206. to ask ourselves, how are we behaving? Are we behaving

  207. like the baby. Are we behaving like the eighth to

  208. the twelve year olds? Or are we behaving like disgruntled teenagers?

  209. Do you know?

  210. It doesn't stay that way. There comes a time when

  211. you're mature, and when you're mature you have conversations. Guys,

  212. how do you talk to your parents now that your adults?

  213. Is it a conversation? Hi?

  214. How are you? Perhaps you should do it this way?

  215. Yeah, this is not working on these kind of conversations

  216. with your parents. Do you know if you look at Abraham,

  217. Abraham had a conversation with the Lord. Lord, if they

  218. are fifty, will you destroy him?

  219. Lord?

  220. If they are forty, will you destroy What was he doing?

  221. He was having a converzation. Guys, that's the ultimate. When

  222. we can get to that point in our prayer, when

  223. we are having conversations with the Lord, That's what this

  224. is all about. Okay, let's move on now. Do you

  225. know that scripture says when we pray, so it is

  226. not an option. Guys, if you thought that it was

  227. an option whether to pray to the Lord or not,

  228. let me make it clear. It is not an option,

  229. because it is not if we pray, but where and

  230. we pray. Guys, if you and I want to see

  231. answers come quickly, let's not let the wend.

  232. Be too long. That's why I believe that.

  233. For me, I'm kind of having these conversations with the

  234. Lord every day. I'm talking with him as I'm driving

  235. in the car, as I'm walking in the street, as

  236. I'm going to the shop, as I'm walking past the

  237. Buffy line.

  238. I'm talking all.

  239. Sorts of seemingly insignificant things with him. Why is it

  240. important to be that conversational with the Lord? Because when

  241. an important thing comes along your way, you'll be able

  242. to hear.

  243. I remember.

  244. Not too long ago when Elder mable called me up

  245. and said friend's father is in hospital. He's not safe.

  246. In my heart, I heard the Lord say go and

  247. go now. But I don't even know the guy. It's

  248. her friend, not mine. Her friend is my friend now,

  249. But you know what I mean, Ah, you know what

  250. I mean. So I actually said I have to go

  251. and pray for somebody in hospital. So I actually rushed.

  252. And do you know there was a day that it

  253. rained so heavily I could barely see the road. It

  254. was such a struggle to get to the cancer hospital

  255. in Cyberjaya. Literally cannot see the road, that's how heavy

  256. the rain was. But I still went and when I

  257. got there, I saw that man and I shared the

  258. Gospel with him and he accepted Christ.

  259. Can you hear? How are you going to be able

  260. to hear?

  261. Is if you don't have conversations with the Lord, If

  262. you're not tuned to his hearing, how will you ever

  263. hear when he wants to tell you something important? You know,

  264. both of us, when he wants to speak to us,

  265. he will tell me a verse. Then I'll be in

  266. the kind and say, you know, the Lord just said

  267. this was Hey, he said the same thing to me.

  268. We know that's what the Lord is leading. It's quite

  269. fun when you can live that way. They save you

  270. a lot of trouble. Okay, let's move on now. Prayer

  271. is a gift. In case you do not know, Prayer

  272. is a gift. Even in ex church, when we, you know,

  273. go out to start plans, it always starts with prayer.

  274. He doesn't start with our honability. You want to do

  275. something in your honability? It is hit and miss. Okay,

  276. He's really hit and miss. If I don't pray for

  277. the service when I come and share with you. You

  278. are relying on as elemibles as my eloquence. How many

  279. nice speeches you've heard from such eloquent people that you

  280. cannot remember today? True not. There's this thing called ted talks.

  281. Have you heard of it? Ted talks? People have just

  282. recently come to care for ted talks. You ask anybody

  283. what anybody said? Nobody can remember, but they can Ah,

  284. very eloquent. Is that what you want? No, So I

  285. don't want to be eloquent. I want to be useful.

  286. So I have to rely on God. And prayer is

  287. that gift that gets me started, just like how it

  288. is howed many churches get started. Our God is a

  289. prayer answering God, and prayer is one of the best

  290. gifts God has given us to connect with Him through prayer.

  291. But yet that's the thing we just want to stay

  292. away from, Craig. We don't mind reading the Word. We

  293. love reading gospel books.

  294. True not.

  295. I love seeing Chosen though I haven't seen one episode yet.

  296. All right, we all love all these things. But why

  297. is it we have this diff dificulty getting to prayer?

  298. When scripture says in Philippines four sixty seven, I remember

  299. sharing this. I hope it's with you, but I shed

  300. it one of the plants. Be anxious for nothing, but

  301. in everything, by prayer and supplication and thanksgiving. Let your

  302. requests be made known to God. And the peace of God,

  303. which surpasses all understanding. Will God your hearts and mind

  304. through Christ Jesus. And here we think this word peace

  305. is just.

  306. Rest.

  307. Do you realize that the root word for this word

  308. peace means anything you can think of. It means your prosperity, wealth,

  309. your financial wealth. It also means your health, It means

  310. your dreams, it means all those things that you desire.

  311. And it's found here that you are to make it

  312. known to God in prayer with thanksgiving.

  313. But you and I we don't do it.

  314. And then we sit on the edge of our beds

  315. wondering what's happened to us?

  316. When He's given us the answer all along. It's a gift.

  317. If it's difficult to get down on your knees to

  318. pray like the monks do, then develop the conversational habit

  319. with the Lord. There are the times when you'll go

  320. to the private place to pray. There are those times,

  321. But why limit those times Jesus went early in the

  322. morning up the mountain and he had his conversation with

  323. the Lord. He had his private the Lord. When it

  324. came down, he did miracles. There is a time for that.

  325. But you and I we have such difficulty in getting

  326. to that place, right, So let's start off conversing with him.

  327. All right, let's move on the integrity of prayer. Do

  328. you know that prayer there is in integrity? We need

  329. to be careful about simply using the word I've prayed

  330. about it when we make major decisions in our life.

  331. Wow.

  332. A lot of people, you hear them say, Oh, I

  333. prayed about it. I prayed about it. Do I leave

  334. church go to another church, or I prayed about it?

  335. Ah? Do I change jobs from here today? Or I

  336. prayed about it? Wow?

  337. Do you think you are what Jesus had to spend

  338. time with the Lord and you just say it with

  339. an ending like a full stop, and we expect God

  340. to answer. Guys, Let's not live in a dream world. Okay,

  341. that's living in a dream world.

  342. Let's live in the real world.

  343. Praying about it means you have to invest some time

  344. into it. You have to invest some time into it.

  345. It's not a Oh, I pray about it. You know

  346. when you receive how many you receive those prayer requests?

  347. Or pray for this person this person is ill, Pray

  348. for that person. That person is ill, you know, and

  349. what do we do? Or Lord, just hear that person

  350. in Jesus name. Come on, that's a full stop. That

  351. is a comma. That is some note on a piece

  352. of paper. But praying about it would be something like this.

  353. You know, Lord, I can understand how difficult it is

  354. to go through this kind of pain, this kind of issue.

  355. Or it could be. Lord, I have no idea what

  356. this person is going through, but I can sense that

  357. is difficulty. It is difficult for the children. I can

  358. sense it's difficult for my brother and sister, Lord to

  359. see their parent like that. God, I ask your Lord,

  360. in the name of Jesus, to do something. I know

  361. you can do something. I worship you, I appraise you.

  362. I know you're a God who's good and you have

  363. their intentions at heart. So Lord, can you help them.

  364. I can imagine how much of money it's gonna take

  365. for them to be in hospital. Lord, can you provide?

  366. Do you see the difference? One is a prayer one

  367. is just a mark on a piece of paper. I

  368. gotta tell you this that this is another. This is

  369. a real testimony. Okay, we have three parents that are alive,

  370. my mother, her mother, and my father. My mother is

  371. eighty nine years old, her mother is ninety two, and

  372. my father is ninety four. My father is for the

  373. most part, actually his bedridden already. Okay, he can't walk anymore,

  374. and he's very frail. He speaks in whispers. He's ninety

  375. four years old. My mother is eighty nine. She just

  376. celebrated the eighty nine birthday last month, and she is

  377. struggling with dementia.

  378. All right.

  379. At this point in time, she remembers who we are,

  380. but she's sort of forgotten. After thirty five years, she's forgotten.

  381. So she cannot remember my daughter. She knows something about her,

  382. but cannot remember who she is. So you know that

  383. the memory, you can see how it is moving or

  384. how it is losing her.

  385. And then we have.

  386. As a Mabel's mom who's ninety two. She's still walking,

  387. she's still talking in having meaningful conversations at her age.

  388. She cooks, she's still cooking. She's still you know, when

  389. you go to the house's You can't believe that she's

  390. ninety two.

  391. Do you know what makes the difference.

  392. My parents came to the Lord late in life, too

  393. late that at this present stage they don't have that

  394. ability to read. And and you know, my mom says,

  395. she prays, and every day she says, here comes the beggar.

  396. How you said stop her? I said, you're a child

  397. of God. You don't beg until I read the word.

  398. And one of the words for prayer is beg. So

  399. now I don't stop her. I say, go for it.

  400. Go for it, you know.

  401. So she prays in her own way because according to

  402. her limited understanding. And then my father, of course he

  403. will he prays according to understanding.

  404. But my mother in law reads tamil.

  405. Okay uh. She's Chinese, but she reads tamil. Yeah, because

  406. she was adopted by a Tamo Indian family. And her

  407. tamil is not the kind that we speaker. I don't speak,

  408. but the kind that people speak on the street. Her

  409. tamil is the learned tamil. There's a difference line, you know,

  410. like I'm sure Mandrin you got the learned Mandin you

  411. got run to speak in the street.

  412. There's a difference. But she prays every.

  413. Day every morning, six seven in the morning, she's there

  414. with a Bible on the table. She's reading her scripture

  415. and she is praying. Compare her to my mother and

  416. my father. I am telling you there's a difference. If

  417. you want to be mobile, if you want to be

  418. in full faculty of your mind, there's an answer.

  419. The answer is prayer is prayer. So we need to

  420. be careful how we use our words.

  421. We cannot simply go through the motion and think just

  422. simply by adding it to the sentence, it's going to

  423. be done. Oh we are holy, Now God is not more.

  424. God looks at us and knows exactly where we are,

  425. which is why I always tell.

  426. Him, God, you know I am who I am.

  427. You know I do not see myself as somebody great.

  428. I see myself as a flawed individual. So I come

  429. to law and say, Lord, this is the way I

  430. see myself. But I see you as someone who's able

  431. to do something.

  432. Can you help?

  433. And he always comes through man. The things he does,

  434. he always comes. The ideas that God gives me is

  435. you know, second to none, second to none. It's it's

  436. quite outstanding. The things that I have been able to

  437. do because of the Lord is so astounding. What makes

  438. the difference in my true humility, which is recognizing where

  439. I stand before the Lord. I go to him in

  440. prayer and I say, Lord, help me, and he always

  441. comes through. Oh, there have been the silent times. The

  442. silent times are what? No, the silent times are no.

  443. So in case you are wondering when the old I

  444. prayed to the Lord and he answered my prayer, has

  445. he spoken to you yet? No, He's given me the answer.

  446. So because there is power in prayer, that power should

  447. be seen. Let me tell you, when you pray, you

  448. got to see the result. How do you see the result?

  449. You can very easily compass someone who has prayed and

  450. got the answer from the Lord and someone who has

  451. done the full stop. Oh I prayed about it very

  452. easy to see. Let me give you a couple of

  453. examples in my life. I've now been a Christian for

  454. forty five years. Forty six, forty six okay, okay, my

  455. maths is bad, mine is not working. Nineteen seventy nine, okay,

  456. forty seven years. There we go, forty seven years. I

  457. have been her believer. I want you to know that

  458. in that time of knowing the Lord, I have seen

  459. the Lord do so so many great things. I've only

  460. known two churches. The church that I was saved in

  461. an ex church. That's forty seven years. I have now

  462. been in ex church twenty years. No, not teen years,

  463. seventeen years, seventeen years. I've been in ex church seventeen years.

  464. Why is it? We were praying to the Lord when

  465. my pastor of the first church was going up and

  466. down to Singapore and we were praying about whether to

  467. leave church or not. God's answer was very clear. No.

  468. Do you know when we left our previous church, when

  469. our previous church closed down because the pastor left, then

  470. only we move. You see, God's not fickle. He saved

  471. me in that church. And yet today I get stunned

  472. at how people move church. They get up from their

  473. bed in the morning, Oh I want to go to

  474. this different church. Oh, you are playing around with your salvation.

  475. You mean you say you pray around with your salvation

  476. when you still go to a different church. I will

  477. ask you this question, did you pray about it? I

  478. don't mean full stop praying like in a conversation, a

  479. mark on a piece of paper. I mean did you

  480. pray about it. Oh, I prayed about it, and I felt.

  481. Let guys, you don't move on a feeling. You move

  482. when the Lord speaks in your ears. If you haven't

  483. heard from the Lord, you don't move because God holds

  484. you accountable when you disrupt his plan. You could very

  485. well have been the plan for that church, but you

  486. decided you wanted to go to this church. So whose plan?

  487. Who listened to home? Who did what? You listen to yourself?

  488. It doesn't work that way, I tell you honestly. You

  489. know how you know, you know how you know. It's

  490. quite simple.

  491. You know when it's like this.

  492. When you went to the new church, did you join

  493. the homes? Are you worshiping with the church? Are you

  494. participating in your programs? Or do you only go to

  495. Sunday and then come off home? If that's you, you

  496. already know your answer. You copped out. You didn't get

  497. with the plan. You created your own plan. When I

  498. was praying for Elder mabel Is, she did me. My wife.

  499. I prayed for her, you know how long three and

  500. a half years. I pray for one to one and

  501. a half years before she even knew I was praying

  502. for her because whose answer was I looking for?

  503. First? God?

  504. He's very easy to buy affection one. Oh, Lord, you

  505. know I'm interested in that girl? Can you give it

  506. to me? And then every day you buy flowers, every

  507. day you give a chocolate every calling? Hi?

  508. How are you?

  509. Oh? Put she falls for you? Did she fall for

  510. you because she's God's plan for you? Or she fell

  511. for you because you were casanova?

  512. Guys?

  513. Real questions, real questions? Why do marriages break up? I

  514. gotta ask you this? Did God say that was your

  515. partner to begin with? We've been through so much. We

  516. are now married thirty seven years, thirty seven? Right, thirty nine,

  517. thirty nine, thirty six, okay, thirty seven, Okay, my Matt

  518. is back today. Hey, we've been married for thirty seven years.

  519. Do you know that we still can't do without each other?

  520. We don't take holidays a partner. We watched the same shows.

  521. We always have to be around one another.

  522. Why is that?

  523. Because she was God's answer for me? I was God's

  524. answer for her. We sought the Lord. How many of

  525. you for your partner? Fasted twenty four hours, food and water,

  526. lock yourself in a room and pray for twenty four

  527. hours can I see a show?

  528. Hands? I did? Can you see the difference?

  529. That's prayer, That's real prayer, not the mark on a

  530. piece of paper.

  531. Okay, we've got a little time. Let's move on.

  532. So being prayer power, what is being prepped out pair

  533. is not an inventor. It's not something you just go to. Hey, guys,

  534. you got premitting. Make it a point of go for premitting.

  535. You know why, because when you pray together, what are

  536. you doing conversing with the Lord with your family? So

  537. when you're in trouble and your family prays, well you

  538. guess what you get answers. But if you can't be bothered, oh,

  539. it's just another one of those things I do want

  540. to get involved in. Let me, I gotta tell you this, sir.

  541. If you and I are not enthusiastic about the Lord's things,

  542. why should the Lord be enthusiastic about ours? And you

  543. think we are going to make it to the same heaven? Guys,

  544. God is very, very interested to see that the ones

  545. that go into his home fit the bill. You know

  546. how they fit the bill. He's not asking you to

  547. be cool. Fact, you have asked the Lord to come

  548. into your heart and be a Lord, and saby he

  549. does that, but then he expects you to be interested

  550. in him. If you can't be interested in God, why

  551. should he be interested in you. Scripture says honor me,

  552. and I will honor you. I don't want to speak

  553. about the other scripture because it's quite a tough one,

  554. all right, but that will be for another time. So

  555. prayer means prayer power means we don't just use it

  556. as an event. If we really want to see exchange

  557. powered forward, to see all our dreams, hopes and visions

  558. come through, then we need to pray. Pray as a lifestyle.

  559. Jesus said that when we pray, He did not say

  560. if we pray and I've answered this question, how do

  561. we do that? Was he? Every day we go to

  562. our room, get done on er knees. And if you

  563. can do that, you won't lose. But even if you

  564. cannot do that, if you just converse with Him each

  565. and every moment of your life, Hey, I go to

  566. a shoe shop and say, God, what do you think

  567. of the shoe?

  568. Is it nicer? Can I get this?

  569. Even though sometimes I don't hear him, But the fact

  570. that the matter is, I'm talking to him about it? Hey, Lord,

  571. what should I eat today? Should I take this string along?

  572. Tell him about worries that I like sweet things?

  573. Right? So in my office you got bingjui gay.

  574. I said, how it's pronounced? Oh, won't something like that

  575. lad ice cream? So I asked the Lord, Lord, can

  576. I take?

  577. And do you know what? He allows me to take?

  578. Maybe once a month, no, every day.

  579. You see, if you can be honest enough to answer,

  580. ask the Lord, he will be honest enough to give

  581. you an answer. Pray it's not an option, it is obedience.

  582. It is obedience. You know that prayer hows you forward? Yes,

  583. thank you? Five minutes.

  584. We don't just.

  585. Believe in the power of prayer. That prayer is the

  586. power that will power us forward. Guys, Why am I

  587. here today? Why am I here today? It has been

  588. you know, forty five years since I found a lot.

  589. I've been through so many things that would have destroyed people.

  590. But why am I here today? Because of prayer, because

  591. of trusting load, because of believing in him, Because knowing

  592. here in my life is what matters. Okay, it's a

  593. requirement to get us to where God wants us to

  594. get to. If you're not moving anywhere. If you're stuck

  595. where you are, you got to increase your prayer life.

  596. Every ex churge plan is there because it has been

  597. prayed for, and prayer reveals our dependence. And see, guys,

  598. you want to depend on your intelligencer. The worst thing

  599. you can ever do to your child is say, oh,

  600. you're very clever.

  601. Do you know that?

  602. You never tell your child you're very clever? Do you

  603. know why you are setting them up for failure? Because

  604. one day when they sit for that exam and they fail,

  605. they will say, oh, I fail because I'm not clever.

  606. You know how you validate your child? Well done, you

  607. worked hard, scripture, well done, my good and faithful serven.

  608. You've been faithful over this. I will give you that.

  609. What was it? He went out and worked, went out

  610. and worked. So when you validate your child that way

  611. and you say, well done, you did very well because

  612. you worked hard. Later on, when they go to university

  613. one paper they flunger, They say, oh it means I

  614. didn't work hard enough. I'll put in an effort and

  615. I'll get through. See the difference, guys, who are we

  616. depending on? It's Jesus. Jesus gets us to where we

  617. want to go.

  618. God, through our.

  619. Prayer to him, will take you. I'm sixty five years old.

  620. I got saved when I was seventeen. I have not

  621. changed my mind. Jesus is Lord. I am so shocked

  622. at how I see young people leave and come back

  623. to the Lord like changing clothes. Hopefully the Lord doesn't

  624. come back at the time when the cloak is off.

  625. Then you miss out. Guys, make up your mind. Choose

  626. him all the time. Okay, every single person who prays

  627. and says I really need you God. The moment we

  628. stop praying, we stop depending on God. Why do you

  629. think I go up at four in the morning to

  630. pray for the service because I want you to be blessed.

  631. I want the spirit of the Lord to speak to

  632. your heart, not my words. My words will come and go,

  633. but then you get stuck with it in your heart.

  634. Oh, I can't pray. It's not difficult, it's easy. I

  635. can do it.

  636. We want to ensure that nothing gets us to our future.

  637. Accept our relationship with the Lord. Guys, my future is good.

  638. At sixty five, my distance to getting to be with

  639. the Lord has become very short. It's okay, my wife

  640. and me we don't mind. It means we're coming closer

  641. to our goal of meeting Jesus. You younger ones, you're

  642. a long way to go. We're going to finish the

  643. race man and as seeking the Lord, asking for his help,

  644. the result is God answering our prayer according.

  645. To his will.

  646. Praying people will always be in line and aligning God's will. Guys, now,

  647. this is the confidence that we have in Him that

  648. if we ask anything according to his will, he will

  649. hear us. Remember I said, you know the answer is no.

  650. You ask for a partner and you didn't get any answer,

  651. and the answer says no.

  652. It's okay. Keep the faith.

  653. Still believe God has a partner with you, because it's

  654. a good thing. Scripture says, if we ask anything and

  655. it's accordance with his will, he'll give it to us.

  656. It's just that it was not according to your timing.

  657. So you get married one year before you go and

  658. meet the Lord. Praise the Lord. God only had one

  659. year for you as a married person.

  660. Do you know there are.

  661. People like that go through their whole life cannot find partner.

  662. At the age of ninety five, find partner age of

  663. ninety six, go home, and be the Lord. Hey, he's

  664. bliss man, He's okay, one hundred percent. That's what you

  665. and I want. We have to change the way we think.

  666. We got to put us in line with the way

  667. the Lord thinks. And with that, man, I was rushing

  668. because I got two minutes to go. I want you

  669. to know prayer is the way prays the answer to

  670. everything you need, even though the answer may be Wait.

  671. Prays the answer to everything you need, even if the

  672. answer is no. And praise the answer to everything you need.

  673. And isn't it lovely when it's yes.

  674. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  675. information on our church, please visit as church org. We
