  1. You're listening to a message to go from Acts Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Today.

  4. We're going to talk about faith, evident faith evidence, one

  5. of our trail plus one call Values. And I've got

  6. two three things to do today. Okay, I kind of

  7. like this topic. Can I be honest with you? I

  8. kind of like this topic because it's an easy topic

  9. for me.

  10. Wow, white easier.

  11. Well, let me share if you are easy, okay, And

  12. I hope I'll do it justice and I will share

  13. with you guys. And I only have half an hour, okay,

  14. so I'll get into it. Okay, let's talk about faith

  15. a little bit this morning, okay. Hebrews chapter eleven, verse

  16. one to three. What does it say? It says, now,

  17. faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence

  18. of things not seen. For by it, the elders obtain

  19. a good testimony, amazing the elders, meaning that if you

  20. act in faith, you will obtain a good testimony. Right

  21. by faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by

  22. the word of God, so that the things which are

  23. seen were not made of the things which are visible.

  24. And we read on Hebrews chapter eleven, and I encourage

  25. you to do that. You read the story about faith

  26. from different people, and it also ends I think in

  27. Hebrew structure where we are surrounded by so much a

  28. cloud of witnesses. So, friends, can I tell you your faith today?

  29. It's not just a personal faith. It is a personal faith,

  30. but it is a faith dependent on other.

  31. People as well. Right, people have gone before.

  32. You believe in things because you probably have seen it

  33. or experienced it. Your faith, right, but it is the

  34. substance of things, hope for the evidence of things not seen. Right,

  35. very poetic what the Bible says. So what is faith?

  36. Friends? Faith here in your nose is active obedience. That's faith?

  37. Why do we say that as faith?

  38. We also know that Hebrews chapter eleven, verse six says,

  39. but without faith, it is impossible to please him, meaning God.

  40. He who comes to God must believe that he is.

  41. Isn't that true? If you don't believe in God and

  42. you pray, it doesn't there's no faith in that. You

  43. got to really believe that God can move when you pray.

  44. You got to really believe that Jesus died on the

  45. cross for your sins.

  46. That's why you're here. That takes faith because you've not

  47. seen him. Right.

  48. The Bible says, blessed are those who have not seen

  49. but believed.

  50. And that's you guys. Right. Maybe it's true an experience,

  51. Maybe it's true what you saw.

  52. I don't know, but it is trae because you didn't

  53. actually see Jesus dined across for you. Anybody here do

  54. you see Jesus down across for you? Even if it's

  55. true a dream, you didn't really see it, correct, But

  56. you believe.

  57. That's why you're here. Why do you believe because of

  58. your faith? Right? And how does faith comes?

  59. Roman Thing says faith comes by hearing and hearing the

  60. word of God. So all these things that we believe,

  61. where do you come from? He didn't come from a friend.

  62. He came from God's word John Tree sixteen. For God's

  63. soul of the world, that he gave his only begotten son,

  64. that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have

  65. eternal life. That is faith, because it's God's word. That say,

  66. the preaching that I'm doing right now is out of

  67. God's word. It's not out of you know, the book

  68. of Elvin. No, it's out of the word of God.

  69. Everything we believe everything we believe in ex Church is

  70. out of the Word of God.

  71. Faith evident it is out of the Word of God. Amen.

  72. You can also spell faith with risk risk? Right?

  73. Why do I say that? Have you heard of this word?

  74. Take a leap of faith? Actually you should take a

  75. word of faith firstar Because God encourages us to walk

  76. in the spirit. No, he didn't ask us to just

  77. jumin aswers to walk. But of course sometimes for some

  78. of us, especially for those of us who are so

  79. rice aversa even one step forward with faith feels like

  80. a drum ready, right, just asking you to jump off

  81. the cliffity that that's true?

  82. What is stray? Friends?

  83. Do you know what is faith? Let me ask you

  84. this question because we want to go deep into this

  85. value of faith. Because I can tell you the reason

  86. why I like this topic is because I've lived this topic.

  87. It's not just a topic for me. The reason why

  88. I like this topic is because I've experienced it for myself.

  89. The reason why I'm so on fire and constantly sharing

  90. people that God works it's not because I'm a pastor.

  91. It's not because I'm extra special, It's not because I.

  92. Was called by God.

  93. In fact, I have a I remember I had a

  94. message last time. Uh you know we talked about me

  95. planting experience. But I have message last time calling myself

  96. the accidental plant chest planter. Because it was never in

  97. my plan to plan a church. It was never in

  98. my plan to do all that I'm doing right now.

  99. Never it was I never had a test. You know,

  100. sometimes we feel like, oh, people got testimony, you know,

  101. picture come. I'm very scared of profit profits. I know,

  102. of course, I was scared because they know what you

  103. did last summer. You know, like, oh, please don't please,

  104. don't prophesy all my life. Okay, but it took faith.

  105. I've lifted.

  106. So friends.

  107. Thing of a time where you had to step up

  108. me in faith. I'm sure everyone here would have to

  109. do it once or twice, it doesn't matter how big.

  110. Easy.

  111. But think of a time where you had to make

  112. a decision or move forward and you don't have the

  113. full picture, but you will. The only picture you had

  114. was God ask you to do it, and you even that. Also,

  115. you're a one hundred percent sure right in that time? Right?

  116. Was everything shorted? Did you have all the answers?

  117. Did you at all the confidence that God did you have,

  118. did you at all the resources and all do you

  119. know that if you had everything, you don't need faith?

  120. When everything is set, you don't really need faith. It's

  121. you know, it's that funny. You know, It's like if

  122. everything is like set in front of course, you cannot

  123. predict the future. Guys, I'm not I wasn't born yesterday.

  124. But if everything was settled in front of you, ada,

  125. the decision would probably be easier and it would not

  126. be a faith decision because why do you need to

  127. make faith decision? Everything set thirty were, everything has been prepared,

  128. everything has been set you hear? I mean not so

  129. you will not need to be a faith decision. When

  130. do you need a faith decision when things are not settled?

  131. When they're when when out of ten things one or

  132. two it's not right, then that's where you really need

  133. to have a faith decision. What more, if there was

  134. nothing thing set up and you just received a word

  135. from the Lord, really need a lot of faith.

  136. Man.

  137. That's why I want people to know, don't ask God

  138. to speak to you specifically, because if he speaks into

  139. your life, you better await right because if he didn't

  140. speak clearly or or deibili. You can say, say, God,

  141. I didn't really hear you properly that timeline. Sorry, yeah,

  142. it was not clear. But if there was a clear word,

  143. oh my goodness, you better follow. You better follow to

  144. the tea.

  145. Faith faith. Amen. Let me let me try and put

  146. it this way.

  147. I believe all of us here one to be good Christians.

  148. I believe all of us here once to experience what

  149. God has in stuff for us. We want to be

  150. blessed by God. We want to see Him move in

  151. our lives.

  152. I believe.

  153. So. I don't think anybody here want to be a

  154. Christian so that you can suffer one, right, I don't

  155. think so. I mean you've got that person means I

  156. don't know, right, I believe everybody here wants to. But

  157. you see, desire versus actually taking that step is two

  158. different things. You get I mean, one thing, to do

  159. something versus actually doing it is two different things.

  160. Coronal.

  161. Right, Because you want something, you need to get it.

  162. But a lot of times we want something, but we

  163. wanted to be given to us. Friends, the thing that

  164. has already been given to you is salvation. God gave

  165. you ready, He gave you the kings of the Kingdom.

  166. He gave you salvation, He gave you everything. I need one,

  167. no need to one. He gave ready. But you still

  168. need to take it. Okayha, you still need to take it.

  169. You still need to act. You still need to act

  170. in faith, lip service nothing one know.

  171. Doing it is a different thing.

  172. Right. We can all say praise the Lord, we can

  173. all say I trust God, but actually doing it is

  174. a different thing. Okay, let's let's establish that. So what

  175. is my encouragement for you this morning? My encouragement is

  176. very simple, trust God and let me give you a

  177. few pointers on how you can do that. I guess okay,

  178. because I pray that you will rise. Your faith will

  179. a rise. The things that you were afraid to do,

  180. you are no longer afraid. Let me share if you want.

  181. I'm so brave to believe in things. It's because I've

  182. experienced it. Friends, I've experienced so much from the small

  183. to now believing for bigger things. Do you know that

  184. you can't believe for bigger things if you don't have.

  185. The small things? Let me share.

  186. You want testimony. I still remember when I started working,

  187. and this is a very selfish testimony. Okah, share, but

  188. I see even the selfish desires of God will bless

  189. you one. You know, right, last time, when I started

  190. working as a young adult, you know, owning an iPhone

  191. or a mech book or iPad was like, once you

  192. own it means you're like there, you've arrived. But friends,

  193. do you know that working full time you have given

  194. up a lot of rights and desires? Right, It's different now, right,

  195. I still remember, you know, I mean my company is good,

  196. like okay, I'm not dicing my company.

  197. I'm just saying that life you choose is different. Right.

  198. We don't really talk about increment or bonus. We don't

  199. really because our bonus is in you know, you know,

  200. of God. Right, okay, but that's the reality, Okay, nothing

  201. wrong with that. In fact, I think it is an

  202. awesome company, right right, thankful to be there. But you see,

  203. he's still his desire. This is desire to own a

  204. MacBook as the MacBook is like.

  205. And there was the and that was the desire. And

  206. I still remember Elder Knyah.

  207. Also he's very honestly, he's he's an Apple fanly Okay,

  208. I just remember.

  209. He's telling me Elvin, trust God, you know.

  210. Then he tell me what he do he pre now

  211. magbook and he put it on the I don't know where,

  212. and he prayed or it. And of course in my mind,

  213. now I'm like Elder show Bow were young, La Okay,

  214. I was like, okay, Lah, Elder, I trust you, La.

  215. I also do the same thing. So I pre now

  216. I met, I met not cheap, no five thousands, no,

  217. not cheap pre now based on the flat fish board

  218. and pray or it. After two years, I bought ol

  219. first I met.

  220. How.

  221. I also don't know how did Lord provide? IO don't know?

  222. Can we work for it?

  223. And stuff like that.

  224. I still remember.

  225. I don't remember exactly when the switch happened, but I

  226. remember desiring for Apple products.

  227. Because it's not cheap.

  228. And I remember realizing that now I actually own a

  229. lot of Apple products, and and can I tell you

  230. something true, it's not a big deal owning Apple products.

  231. No, sorry for those of you who thinks it's not

  232. a big dealer.

  233. You see, it's become a desire and something impossible, and

  234. now it's become normal. Do you see where the lot

  235. has brought me? And different ones here as well. I

  236. don't know what your desire is in your life. I

  237. don't know what you're looking forward to, but in your

  238. mind now you think it's impossible. But do you know

  239. that to the lot it is possible. I'm just using

  240. a very selfish example. Notice a thing about it. I'm

  241. like I now now I'm like, buy Apple was shows massive,

  242. Let's buy something cheaper? Okay, But last time that was

  243. the thing that was the aspiration, right and that there

  244. was a thought of like I will never.

  245. I will never. How many of you tell yourself before,

  246. I will never afford it? I will never. Don't say

  247. never now always have.

  248. But don't say never, because you are self proclaiming something

  249. that God never intended for you.

  250. You know, right you declare for your life.

  251. And what God has not declared for you know you

  252. know what God has declared for you, his decred for

  253. your abandoned life.

  254. He's the credit.

  255. He'll provide for everything He's declared for you that you know,

  256. the thoughts and desires are he has for you. Are

  257. is something you can never imagine, but you're already imagining

  258. in your life that it will never happen.

  259. Can you stop doing that?

  260. Don't believe that God can do for you, and don't

  261. stop your own destiny so that was the challenge, right.

  262. I still remember when I was younger. Let's talk be

  263. about finance. Okay, I see when I was younger, right

  264. and starting up. You know, let's go by digits. Okay,

  265. what do digit?

  266. Number is very big?

  267. Red? Three digit is very big? Ready, and I still

  268. embodies whatever can I tell me?

  269. And when I say a very.

  270. Big meaning dealing with like three digits four digit was

  271. like oh, and then I tell mysa, I will never.

  272. I don't know when I will. And I remember clearly

  273. Elder told me this and said, you know, Elvin because

  274. he also went through that phase where you know God

  275. is dealing with him and saying, you know, God will

  276. trust you to be able to deal with more in

  277. your life if you're faithful. Can I tell you that

  278. dealing with five digits six digit is not much of

  279. an issue for me?

  280. You know, not not to say that I I have

  281. a lot. I'm just saying that.

  282. When we step up in faith, God will expand the

  283. way you think you know, But you have to step

  284. by in faith. You have to believe that God will

  285. use you for more things.

  286. Amen. Is there a rias? Yes, as a risk. Friends,

  287. faith must be alive, not just claim it must be

  288. a life right.

  289. James two seventeen eighteen says, does also faith by itself.

  290. If it does not have works, it's dead. But someone

  291. will say, you have faith and I have works. Show

  292. me your faith without your works, and I will show

  293. you my faith by my works. Faith and works go

  294. hand in hand, right. Unfortunately a lot of people do

  295. have faith, but there's no work to prove it. There's

  296. no work to prove the faith. That's why we say

  297. faith evident. I have a question for us, is it

  298. possible that we can be as believers doctrinally correct? It

  299. means everything doctrinally correct, believe in Jesus, doing all the

  300. right things, worshiping doctrinally correct, and sincere in our practice,

  301. very sincere. But then our faith is inactive for hidden.

  302. Is it possible?

  303. Do you think.

  304. It is actually possible?

  305. No?

  306. Because seven Timothy Sorry, Second Timothy, chapter three, verse five

  307. says in the Last Days that people will have a

  308. form of godliness but denying its power, and the Bible

  309. wants us that for some such people turn away. That

  310. means that we can actually do everything right in our

  311. Christian life, but not experience the power of God.

  312. That can happen.

  313. The Bible way tells us that can happen. We've got

  314. to continue to walk in faith. We've got to continue

  315. to believe and move in faith. Friends, That's how we

  316. need to do. Don't come to a place where we

  317. are comfortable. Don't come to place where we think that

  318. everything is sorted.

  319. Right.

  320. Trust in the Lord because he has so much more

  321. for you. Do you know that faith connects back with

  322. belief because you need to believe. To have faith in

  323. all right, you need to believe. Have faith means to

  324. believe right, to believe that you will receive something, to

  325. believe that you will pursue, to believe that something can

  326. happen in your life.

  327. It also connects back.

  328. With obedience because when faith happens, we need to obey,

  329. we need to move, we need to act. It also

  330. connects back with walking with the Holy Spirit, not just

  331. jumping walking daily. How do you grow your faith? Think

  332. about it? How do you actually grow your faith? It

  333. always starts small, It always starts with different things in church. First,

  334. let I say this practice ground, right, this is practice.

  335. Ground for us.

  336. If we cannot or don't do it in our practice

  337. ground is very difficult to do it out there, but

  338. if we can practice it in practice, ground giving is

  339. a form of faith. Serving is a form of faith.

  340. Putting yourself out there in an unfamiliar territory is a

  341. form of faith. Right, especially if God has already spoken.

  342. If we cannot follow the instructions of God that is

  343. already written in the world, how are we going to

  344. trust or follow the Rama word where it's like not

  345. explicitly written specifically that it will sound like that something

  346. you think about, right, Because when we walk with the

  347. Holy Spirit, we are opening ourselves up to the Rama.

  348. Word of God. Yes, there is the Logo's word, and

  349. we should follow the Logo's word. Right. And whatever God

  350. asks you to.

  351. Do in the Rama word, the spoken word of God.

  352. In your daily life.

  353. You know, say God, speak to me, that's the Rama

  354. word of God. He will not contradict the Logo's word

  355. because God's word stands. That's how you know whether or

  356. not it's God's word or not. That's why when the

  357. devil came and told Jesus, do these do thees do this,

  358. and I will do these. Do this is Jesus straight

  359. away went to scripture. Because the written word of God

  360. will never contradict his rama word. That's why we that's why,

  361. that's that's how preachers and passes and leaders know. When

  362. people come to us and tell us certain things then

  363. say God spoke to me, we kind of know whether

  364. God spoke to you or not, because if he contradicts

  365. the word of God, then we are not sure whether

  366. that's what God really is said. Just to give you

  367. a way to identify certain things, right, we got to

  368. open ourselves up to God's word, friends, the ability to

  369. hear God speak, the ability to take God's spoken word

  370. and obey. Friends, But you got to start small. If

  371. we don't start small, the big things is not going

  372. to happen. How we I mean, you guys know this very.

  373. It's not very.

  374. It's not rocket science. We cannot believe God for the

  375. small things. It's hard to believe God for the big things.

  376. So we got to start small. Self is small. That's

  377. why I get excited when I see people trust and believe.

  378. Last time they say no, Now they say yes. Last

  379. time they say not sure. Now they're like, yeah, maybe

  380. maybe it's good you're stepping up in faith because when

  381. it comes to a time where you have to make

  382. a really powerful decision in your life there is to

  383. follow God.

  384. You're really ready.

  385. He's really work enough in your life, and you've really

  386. hurt him enough to know that it is him and

  387. not the devil. That's that's how you know?

  388. Right, Like I said, I I.

  389. Know because I've had good experiences. Well, when I say good,

  390. meaning good comes to the bad. Lad, good means good

  391. means God came true. But a lot of experience came

  392. with a lot of crying and pain and suffering. Right,

  393. you want to share? You want to hear some stories,

  394. and I don't have a lot of time, bad, Can

  395. I share some stories you? I was just recounting this

  396. with uh, well, say graduating student right about how I

  397. came into full time ministry.

  398. You know, some of you might know this, might not

  399. know this. So what happened was I was working in anyway?

  400. Actually, guys, just say you know I I graduated with

  401. film and animation in Multimedia University. Right, and my dream

  402. evans my my junior. My dreamer was to go and

  403. work for Pixar. Okay, thank god that didn't happen. Okay, Yeah,

  404. if you know the animation industry, you know why I

  405. say that, Right?

  406. That was the dream.

  407. So then my first job was a tree animation house

  408. called Persistence of Vision. Right, they do big stuff apparently

  409. actually any sorry, can I can I explain these it

  410. is I don't know whether it is good or not,

  411. but Malaysia is actually a factory la. All the animation

  412. house here is we do factory for other people. You know,

  413. fun not fun, but factoryla.

  414. Okay.

  415. So six months did that had epiphany from the Lord?

  416. What am I doing in my life? I'm just even

  417. if you got calling for animation, please this not for

  418. you are okay, but for me it was like, ha,

  419. I worked so hard, I put all the hours just

  420. to make me a laugh and that's the story of

  421. my life.

  422. Cannot be So God was doing something. So in the end,

  423. one thing led to another. I quit.

  424. I quit without a job, oh no. And then after

  425. that what happened was I was jobless for another six months.

  426. Then you kind of get desperate, right when you're jobless

  427. for six months, so desperate that you would take anything right.

  428. And then the time.

  429. The time I knew d o d o we actually

  430. childhood friends, okay, past andy, and he said, hey, they're

  431. looking for a video person, right, will you join us?

  432. Part time, full time. Couse they can't hire a full.

  433. Time but they needed This was the days before YouTube,

  434. my friends, this is how long ago it was.

  435. Uh and they had an online magazine and it was you.

  436. Know, attached to a ya. And because it was church,

  437. I'm like, okay, let's let's try this out. But I

  438. had I had a requirement. I said, hey, if I

  439. do this, I still need a full time job. So

  440. if I don't get a full time job, then so

  441. I will agree to the part time, but I will

  442. still look for job outside.

  443. So that was the agreement. Okay.

  444. So I did that for six months, okay, where I

  445. work Monday to Friday. But I went out and I

  446. did I look for a job outside. Okay, that's what happened, right,

  447. And friends, I applied for so many jobs last time,

  448. got no job street.

  449. No, don't know about these other things. Now.

  450. I think I applied for one hundred and two many

  451. jobs and I went for seventeen interviews.

  452. This is how desperate it was, right but no go.

  453. I went for an interview, you know the one they

  454. got screens the time got no screen at they were

  455. starting up the department, and I went for the interview.

  456. I didn't get a job.

  457. Okay, I went to a TV to apply for assistant producer.

  458. Right as you can see, I didn't get a job.

  459. Why because they want me to work twenty four to

  460. seven and I said I will, but Sunday the time

  461. only one service Sunday ten o'clock to cholve o'clock.

  462. Can you let me go or not?

  463. But I will work my ass off for you for

  464. the other days, but that time is for the Lord.

  465. They didn't hire me. Seventeen job interview I got. I

  466. got so good at job interview. I asked them questions, seriously,

  467. I got so good at I asked them questions and

  468. then this offer came.

  469. And then I joined them.

  470. I really enjoyed the work in the time it was

  471. fat Fish Communications. Now we took the name of Sola k.

  472. I enjoyed the work, so I did that. But during

  473. this time, of course you prayer line, ask lot, Lord,

  474. what is what? What?

  475. What plan you have for me? What should I do?

  476. Right?

  477. Right?

  478. So I enjoyed the work, but it was part time.

  479. I enjoyed the work, but I didn't get full time.

  480. I joined the work but needed and at the time

  481. I stayed in Klang. I drove to work. I had

  482. to take patrol. Okay, uh yeah, I think it's long

  483. enough that I can tell you I was surviving on

  484. a seven hundred and love gift. Okay, hey managed to survive? No, okay,

  485. not a lot. And I remember clearly, let's talk about

  486. walking by faiva. God really provided for me. And I

  487. remember during that time, Pastor would share stories about him

  488. living in faith, and I was very inspired by that.

  489. I know he has a story about him, you know,

  490. God challenging him to give the offering. He had a

  491. wondering git and one hundred in git. Youn't remember that testimony,

  492. and he shared the testimony, and of course we were like, yeah,

  493. you know, let's believe, let's go right, and got really provided.

  494. But they reached a time where the time I handedly

  495. at that time, he managed to get me a drop

  496. offer with a new startup company. It was it was

  497. a skincare company and I was gonna be the junior

  498. the later on becoming the senior designer. So I went

  499. for the job interview, but that time was three months

  500. a year.

  501. I was like struggling, struggling, how do I stay, do

  502. I go?

  503. What do I do?

  504. Right?

  505. But I needed a job, and I didn't want to

  506. rely on my parents, although I was staying in the

  507. house ironic.

  508. So I went for the job interview. It was a

  509. good job interview.

  510. They were offering one point eight Okay, okay, now not

  511. much now it's like now it's like what a low

  512. income low minimum wage? That now now minimum that the

  513. tie was not minia. It's so it's about one point eight.

  514. And I actually I asked for too. I said, oh,

  515. you know, believe God for too.

  516. I asked for to.

  517. I went for the interview, and I remember this clearly.

  518. I was driving back to my office, like I said

  519. it was. It was in between working in uh in

  520. flet Fish at time, okay or in Ay at that time.

  521. So as I was driving back, I caught my mom,

  522. my late mom. I said, hey, mom, no, I got

  523. his job interview. It's so good, you know, you know

  524. it's a startup. You know, I will do well in it.

  525. And I was very open. That's how that spread. I

  526. was very open.

  527. I'll do well in a you know, and then in

  528. five years I'll be senior designer and they're gonna yeah

  529. all these things. My mom's very wise. She asked me

  530. this questions. She said, but Elvin, you really enjoy what

  531. you're doing. Now, I'm like, yes, what's your point, I'm

  532. not arnning. Yes, I enjoy it, but you know I

  533. need the money, right. And then she asked me this

  534. other question, do you see yourself as a senior designer

  535. for a skincare company in five years?

  536. Such a powerful question, I told her, Nola.

  537. And then she's like, okay, okay, mom, Mom's a wiser

  538. put on the phone and I prayed, Lord, how then

  539. this scripture came to me, Elvin, don't be lukewarm. You're

  540. either hot or cold. That spoke to me because at

  541. the time, again, I was half here, half there, one

  542. lick here, one lik there. It was very difficult, and

  543. I say, okay, God, I know what to do. So

  544. I went back. I went back to a manager the

  545. time do and I say, hey, I know we have

  546. this arrangement, and I know because we're good friend. I

  547. know you know my predicament. But this is what I'm

  548. going to do. Because God spoke right, so Jalana and

  549. I said, I'm going to fully commit myself to this

  550. aya for the next six months. Yo.

  551. You'll get what that means, right.

  552. It means I'm going to agree to the and I'm

  553. not going to look for a job for the next

  554. three month.

  555. I'm not going to look for job.

  556. I'm going to commit. I'm not going to look for

  557. a job and reach. At the time it was that time,

  558. it was September. I said, by the end of the year,

  559. if you can hire me, then I will accept the

  560. full time. But if you cannot, then I will move on.

  561. So it was a very clear decision three months commit,

  562. let's see what happens. Because I was tired of and

  563. it was really style fath So I went and I said, okay,

  564. let's do that.

  565. And I committed. Okay, this is where the real test comer.

  566. Let me.

  567. I'm not done my story. I know I'm not. I'll

  568. finish it now. Ago I got a mis call from

  569. the hiring person. That was a Friday, Friday evening. I

  570. got a missed call.

  571. I didn't pick up.

  572. I didn't see course, Buzma, I saw him like, oh,

  573. I didn't call back. Of course I decided no, So

  574. call back for what?

  575. No point?

  576. I left it right because he was rejecting or so

  577. like Whyever, Then we went through the weekend and then

  578. Monday I got a call again, and this time picked up,

  579. and the hiring manager asked me, Hey, Elvin, Hi, I

  580. got good news for you. Oh really, Yeah, we want

  581. to hire you and we're going to match your salary

  582. that you asked for. How many of you will go

  583. praise the Lord you've been.

  584. Praying for this? The kid take the job.

  585. Let me tell you my answer, and clearly remember this answer.

  586. God spoke, MA.

  587. I decided, ma, oh, thank you so much, but I

  588. think I'll stay where I am right now.

  589. Huh You sure.

  590. The hiring manager was actually a friend of my hearted

  591. leader that knows my predicament. Yeah, I'm sure. Then put

  592. it on the phone and I'm like, what did I

  593. just know? I just turned down a two thousand dollars

  594. paying job for seven hundred bucks a month. Guys, that's crazy,

  595. that's foolish. Well, God provided in the tree months, I

  596. never had leg There was one time I ran out money,

  597. really okay, Uh, it was the last week I ran

  598. out money. I clearly, very clearly remember this. I ran

  599. out of money. I think it was the second last

  600. month I ran out of money, and then it was

  601. the last week and transcot along. Lord, you provide la uh,

  602. you know. And I didn't tell my parents, I didn't

  603. tell anybody. I didn't tell my colleagues because Maluma, we

  604. all Malaysia, Maluma.

  605. Can I go to no money? Right right then?

  606. I just calculated. I just said enough to pay the

  607. toll for the week and to wait for the when

  608. it comes, just enough, and I say, God, I will

  609. just rely on. Oh the wonderful thing about Aya, we

  610. give free my low. I'll just rely on my low

  611. for the rest of the week. And when there's some meggimi,

  612. I would just have the magi me Okay. I really

  613. decided I'll do that. I went to the office.

  614. I was very early.

  615. I went to my table, and the time also I

  616. brought my own machine, okay, and it was an old

  617. white color computer, okay, with the white color. Now it

  618. is now that keyboard expensive. I kept it love Okay,

  619. by that time, it was the old keyboard. And when

  620. I went to the keyboard, I saw one hundred ringgit

  621. not propped up nicely on my keyboard.

  622. Friends, I didn't put it there, and I was like, huh,

  623. pus this There was no note.

  624. It was just a hundred bucks. And I knew it

  625. for me, you know, I know it's from me. It

  626. was on on the floor, nobody dropped it. It was

  627. nicely on my keyboard. I don't know who gave it

  628. to me, and I didn't ask. But the lot provided

  629. there is just one of the testimonies of how God

  630. provided for my six months in Aya. Friends, these six

  631. months in Aya, right, I will never trade for anything

  632. because the six months Ay, I really experienced God moving

  633. in my life when I stepped up in faith. This

  634. is a story twenty years ago. After that, there were

  635. so many other fifths or his friends, maybe not so specific. Right,

  636. I got married, you know, savings. That's another testimony. How

  637. we started the Demi Ministry. Some of you are aware

  638. of that. I've been long enough at XBJA and God

  639. is your working. How we did plant that xbu that

  640. was also by faith? Did I have all the answers?

  641. No?

  642. Did I know it was gonna be this guy called

  643. Stephen from Excentral, No, it was God. I was just

  644. frateful to say, I think we're gonna plant church. Right.

  645. What am I trying to say? Friends?

  646. The faith is a legacy I'm sharing with you now,

  647. But I also want to tell you that faith is

  648. a legacy for not just us, part of future generations friends, young, working, doubts.

  649. Family is here.

  650. What is your story of faith that you can pass

  651. on to someone else. You don't have to plant church,

  652. but you can live by faith every day. You don't

  653. have to bluntch it.

  654. You don't have to do anything too crazy, you know,

  655. just trust in the Lord, obey him and move forward.

  656. And we don't want just testimonies or the past.

  657. I share you want testimony the past just to show

  658. you that it started small. That's why I believe what

  659. I believe right now. That's why when people talk to me,

  660. you know that I will encourage you to step up

  661. in faith.

  662. One.

  663. That's the advice that I will give because I know

  664. God can work for you as He's worked for me.

  665. That is my benchmark. My benchmark is not out of

  666. just read the word. I've experienced it. But the thing is,

  667. we don't want to just rely on the testimonies of

  668. the past. But I believe that you guys who experience

  669. more of the Lord today and in the future. So

  670. what is your challenge this morning?

  671. God can come.

  672. True for you?

  673. Not just Why is this a value for us? Friends?

  674. Because it's not just passed Cannel's testimony or he planted

  675. the ex church retriable. Know that there's great, great story, awesome,

  676. But do you know that we've had more crazy stories

  677. after that? Do you know we had a seventeen year

  678. old travel to the UK to plant the church and

  679. it's still growing strong. Do you know that we have

  680. other crazy faith testimonies from our young people, so many

  681. more and there'll be so many more to come, because

  682. we want to see not just us, but everyone here

  683. and our kids experience faith that is evident in their lives.

  684. Imagine everywhere we go and ext church, faith is expressed.

  685. Faith is real, friends, It's not just a story in

  686. the book. Faith is being lived out, isn't it exciting?

  687. And the constant obedience that we continually do to the

  688. leading of the Holy Spirit and the voice of God.

  689. There's so much more to say, but I'll leave you

  690. guys with this because I really no time.

  691. Really, I hope and I pray that we will continue

  692. to act and walk in faith next week when we

  693. go out on the second of August. That is a

  694. step of faith. I was just telling sound there this

  695. morning that you know, uh, I was confident that the church.

  696. I was confident in the health of the church that

  697. we can do this in faith. Not do this out

  698. of convenience, but do this in faith because who knows

  699. what testimonials they will come out when we send out,

  700. you know, when we get blow out from the Lord.

  701. So can we be leave together. This is just a

  702. small step, you know. I mean, I'm sure there are

  703. other things in your life that you can act in faith.

  704. But let's do the small first and then we will

  705. graduate to the bigger things. Amen, let me just pray

  706. for us even as I close, Hilariah. Now I'll pass

  707. it on to the team. Take it on, Hallarijah, Thank you,

  708. Lord Lord. I just want to declare again that ex

  709. Church is a faith evident church. I want to decline

  710. faith or God, that everyone here will be able to

  711. experience You in such a deep way, O Lord Father,

  712. that Lord, our faith is not just reliant on what

  713. we read or understand in our hands, but it is

  714. true experiences of walking with the Spirit, true experiences of

  715. trusting in God, true experiences of experiencing testimonies.

  716. In our lives.

  717. Healings, different things that cannot be explained by logic, but

  718. only by relationship with You. I pray God that everyone

  719. hears faith will arise and that Lord, when the Word

  720. says that we need faith to please you, I pray,

  721. O God, that we will please you with our lives

  722. as we live out our faith. As we live out, Lord,

  723. what you cause us to do, as we live out

  724. the leading of the Holy Spirit, as we live without

  725. the rama word of God. I pray O God that

  726. XPJ will be known as a church full of faith.

  727. So Lord, I want to pray O God that this week,

  728. as we make decisions in our own lives, as we

  729. ponder on different things, I pray that we will make

  730. faith decisions, not fear decisions, but faith decisions. I pray

  731. God that you'll teach us lay through your word and

  732. through experiences, to trust in You more and to act

  733. in new more lot. Father, So Lord, I pray it

  734. you bless everyone here, Help us with our unbelief, help

  735. us with our fears, Help us to experience the more

  736. of You so that it'll be easier for us to

  737. believe in the bigger things in the future. Lord, just

  738. comment everyone here in your hands and just say pray.

  739. Amen.

  740. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information,
