You're listening to a message to go from X Church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. Today. We're continuing on the series on Second
-
Peter. We're gonna be looking at chapter two. So it just a very
-
quick recap on the Book of Second Peter. And again it's a very powerful
-
book, not an easy book to go through. The more I go through
-
it, the more scary, the more scary I am as well, because
-
it's Peter's warning also what they call encouragement to the church at large about you
-
know, finishing the race, about knowing the call of God for each and
-
of our lives. And also to be very very careful because the enemy is
-
at the doorsteps with many false prophets, false teachers, and what he leaves
-
behind for you, you and I and for the generations of believers. It's
-
the foundation, the teachings, the truths that we must play on, that
-
we must stand on. You know, if anyone comes and teaches you another
-
thing, try to add on to it, you know, things they are
-
not supposed to be added, trying to come with you with a different authority,
-
with presumption, with exploitation. These are the things that you must discern
-
and you must resist as well. You know, it's very very important,
-
okay, Um, And I know with the Rastama I talked about. You
-
know, you know about Peter's witness, He's known when he recollects his past,
-
he knows that Jesus is the son of God, not just based on
-
what he said, but he witnessed Okay, Jesus himself being being anointed,
-
and the transfiguration. Okay, Moses and Elijah appearing side beside. He remember
-
when I talked about it. Okay, Moses, Elijah was there, but
-
Jesus is greater than Moses and Elijah. Hey, Moses sense the word.
-
Elijah represents the prophet, but Jesus comes to fulfill every word and every prophecy.
-
And secondly, we have the scripture. Okay, if you want to
-
understand that how the Christianity is different from any other religion, Jesus is one.
-
The second thing is that we have that is utterly, you know,
-
so divine compared to every other religion, is that we have the divine scripture.
-
It's not just any writing, it is divine. Okay. Tell me
-
give me any other religion that prophesize and itself fulfills. You get me in
-
right prophesience and self fulfills. That is how you can test any religion,
-
any scripture. You must prophesize and there must be a fulfillment. The scripture
-
tests itself, the scripture fulfills itself, and Jesus fulfills all of that as
-
well. Okay. But I'm not going to go through all of that,
-
okay. But we're going to proceed into second Peter, and it continues in
-
the same theme, okay, about guarding against false teaching. And the way
-
I'm going to go through it is that I'm going to give you a broad
-
overview about this entire chapter. Some of it is some parts of it are
-
repeating a bit, and so I will instead of going line by line some
-
of these parts, I will I will group it up and then cover it.
-
Okay. And this part is talking about false teachers, okay. And
-
if you look at the Bible, if you I'm looking at the n KGV
-
version, they are about four subheadings okay. The subheadings talks about destructive doctrines
-
okay, doctrines referring to teachings okay, and then it talks about the doom
-
of false teachers. Okay. So it's funny. And it's the first thing
-
that The second thing that Peter goes into it is that you know, hey,
-
we know, we clearly know that these people are teaching wrong things.
-
But why is it then nothing is happening to them? Why if God not
-
dealing with them? And Peter goes on in this a few paragraphs here talks
-
about God, don't worry about it. It doesn't mean that nothing is happening
-
to them. That they can do whatever they want means they God approves them.
-
It doesn't mean that it's going to come. And he points to the
-
scripture examples or what happened to these men who come falsely in the name of
-
God and teaches wrong things? Okay, and then he talks about the depravity
-
of false teachers. The depravaty means what the depravaty means, the corruption okay,
-
the corrupt state or these people means that, Okay, this is what's
-
going to happen to them. Now, I'm going to tell you to cut
-
the apple in her half and see what's inside the apple. Okay, all
-
looks shiny, but when you cut or when you bite into it, and
-
you see all the worm and rot inside, I'm going to show you the
-
rot that is happening inside the depravity of these teachers. And lastly, he
-
goes into the deceptions of the false teachers and what they do. Okay,
-
what's the cosmetic they put on the outside? Why people, why it's so
-
rotten inside? But the way they addressed that, the way they are package
-
makes people want to choose that apple and that fruit among all other things when
-
the gospel is represented, But why they still choose to follow. And he
-
will and Peter will outline what are some of the things they actually do to
-
deceive many people. Okay, So let's go through the first part first.
-
Okay, destructive doctrines are going to read here from verse one to verse three.
-
Okay, now it says here, but there will also false prophets among
-
the people, Okay, even as there will be false teachers among you who
-
will secretly bringing destructive, destructive heresies, even okay, denying the Lord who
-
bought denying the Lord who bought them can underline their part, denying the Lord
-
who bought them and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their
-
destructive ways. Okay, underline that many Okay, many will follow their destructive
-
ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed by coverectiousness.
-
Underline that one covereciousness there will exploit you, okay, with acceptive words for
-
a long time. Their judgment has not been either, and their destruction does
-
not slumber. Well, okay, now this is uh no, quite long.
-
When I really, I guess scared because I teach people as well.
-
It's heavy. It's the fundamental that four teachers and preachers. Okay, so
-
I am scared. Okay, So now, first of all, why do
-
we need to learn about false teachers? Why is it important to learn about
-
false teachers? Okay, He's like, hey, where the title is not
-
heaven rules, tell me about my promises to tell me about blessings. Tell
-
me how I can be successful you know in life. I wish, I
-
mean, I mean, I wish I could, you know, pick and
-
choose. But there's a reason why this is included in the scripture. There's
-
a reason why, you know, the last letter that Peter Wrights is not
-
about hey, good promises and everything else, but it's about warnings. And
-
this is a reason why. It's because firstly, must know the enemy is
-
at work enemy is at work. Okay, you must understand that the times
-
that we are living in are difficult, even more influential, and even more
-
influential towards yourself and your family. Second thing is that we need to know
-
about this so that you can discern false teachers and false teachings. A lot
-
of people they come to church, and myself included as well, we get
-
very complaisent. You know, we get very complacent. No, as long
-
as we never really examine our understanding, our knowledge web we do a lot
-
of times we do things and say things of ignorance. And I have kids
-
as well, and a lot of times my kids that but I didn't mean
-
it. I understand that as well. Sometimes they do they don't mean it,
-
but they cost a lot of damage. But we are not called to
-
be always kids running around doing damage because of ignorance. You get me in
-
right, And you must understand where you become an adult and you become a
-
believer. When you are powerful committee you have an influence. Okay, So
-
good intentions are not enough, I understand not. Okay, if your person
-
is walking towards the edge of a of a cleverer, you gotta tell them,
-
you know, something is, something's wrong. You cannot eat nooky man.
-
You can just say that as long as my heart is right at the
-
right place, as long as my intentions are good, he'll be fine.
-
I'll be fine. No, good intentions cannot substitute truth. You know,
-
people, Okay, good intentions cannot substituteue. I know sometimes my kids don't
-
like it when I correct them because that's not what I mean. I know
-
there's not what you mean, but I still need to teach you what is
-
right. But the world has gone in the ways. You know, we
-
don't want we don't want this truth. You know why. Truth is difficult
-
because it forces you to examine yourself and recover. But when it becomes uncommunity,
-
people struggle. They don't like to struggle because struggle gets you into sometimes
-
depressive states, gets you into you know, cost you something, cost you
-
maybe a season of your life. But you need that, you know why,
-
because so that you really discover something in your life, you can recover,
-
you can stand up, and you now fix yourself on the right path.
-
Yeah, I mean right. It's not about shooting many arrows whatever,
-
you know, it's about aiming at the right place. You know, you
-
gotta learn to be able to aim at the right place. And lastly,
-
okay, you need to know about these false teachers. It's not to hey
-
point out, Hey, you are force teaching. You're false teaching. For
-
teaching. I can tell you there are sometimes I believe in things. There
-
are no minor differences with people. I don't go out and say, hey,
-
you are wrong, and you are wrong. I don't go around into
-
churches and your pastor's life. Hey, you are force teaching. I have
-
differences. I tell you to be honest, I tell you I have okay,
-
and I but I can call six with people. I learned to pick
-
my battles as well. You get me in right, and I do it
-
very well. I had to learn to do it very, very honorably.
-
I won't do it in front of people. I won't dishonor them. I
-
would just say, hey, what do you think of this? And stuff
-
like that, and sometimes I know that this is not the right time to
-
just to pick up with them. You get me right, as long as
-
the thing. Sometimes it's about traditions, some of the practices. Sometimes it's
-
not my job to convert them. You can understand what I'm saying you know,
-
it's not my job to convert them because sometimes to the people have been
-
brought up with a lot of background. There has been very deep sea then
-
and deep rooted. If I go and put the if I'm if I'm gonna,
-
I'm gonna dig it up. I had to make sure I had to
-
plant it back. You know, are you willing to do that? You
-
know, you really do that. It's God had God called you to do
-
that. You're gonna be my soul. You gotta do every single thing with
-
a bit of a fear of the Lord as well. It's not that,
-
hey, we're not we're not scared of the truth. But everything, everything
-
you must know, it must seek the Lord. It's not just about why
-
it's right. It's the Lord's timing and the Lord's present in your heart.
-
Okay, that's very, very very important. Okay. So when I know
-
that there are organizations, they are also preach the truth. But sometimes I
-
disagree, Okay, I would not say that Bannon or disagree in the way
-
sometimes times that we approach churches and brothers and sisters in crimes as well.
-
You cannot be disrespectful, Okay, don't laud yourself becautures better just because you're
-
more illuminated and higher and stuff like that as well. Don't don't do that,
-
Okay, pursue Okay. Now, first, Peter knows a lot.
-
But the thing that he asked us in chapter one to pursue above all is
-
what love. The divine nature of God is love. Remember, Okay,
-
Everything leads to love. Okay. Now, so I mentioned about why it's
-
important. Now a few things. How do we know that? Now?
-
How to discern false teachers? Okay, So let's go through a few from
-
my slight here making your life easier. Okay. So the first thing they
-
speak what you want to hear. Ah. The first thing that is so
-
good about them, they are very good marketing. You know, marketing are
-
one of the best advisors that I've heard about marketing in you know, in
-
in in the corporate right. If you want to summarize, know what your
-
customer wants. And the second thing, know what they fear. Okay,
-
when your market and never say, hey, this oven has no this grill
-
this time. No, no, don't say all these features. Just tell
-
them what they really want to hear. If you buy this oven, it
-
will give you more time to spend with your family, because that's what they
-
really want. They don't want to feature. They don't want to spend more
-
time with your family. Why are you telling them? You are giving them
-
a vision of them being a successful mom. That's what they want. Ah,
-
you're like, oh, I never knew you there? Makes sense or
-
not? Why do you think a lot of this banking? And they don't
-
tell you the feature all week at three point five, but they tell you
-
they show a picture of you. I don't know, go fishing with your
-
dad. You know you're traveling, spending time with your family. No what
-
they're telling you, we provide security and the future for you. That's what
-
deep down. They don't just want your face need, they want deep down
-
what you really need. You get me in right and what are you afraid
-
of? Don't be spending the whole time eating unhealthy food because you take too
-
long. You don't you don't want to do a cookma, so you end
-
up or doing grab and stuff like that. So they know your fear as
-
well, so deep down your knee. And the thing is, the teachers
-
they understand human psychology as well. We are all we're in a sense and
-
we are all corporate quite predictable. Gay we have very common fears, common
-
needs. I'm not going to go through that, okay, but they know
-
or what what what you need and what you feel, and they appeal to
-
what you want to hear. What do everybody want to hear? Sometimes they
-
want to hear they hey, they have a future, they have a hope.
-
Give you a classic example, you know in the book of Jeremiah.
-
Jeremiah, what's battling a lot against all these false prophets and false teachers?
-
Why why were there's so many false prophets and false teachers during that time of
-
Jeremiah. Because the people were invaded and they allowed them were exact from Babylon.
-
So the city of Jerusalem, Israel has been ranked sectoratey. So very
-
hardly any people stay inside Israel. So they were staying in the fringes,
-
and some of them went to a lot then went to Babylon, including you
-
know Daniel nihimaya of them. Okay, okay, Now, so the people
-
who were in Babylon and stay in the fringes, they were always hoping that
-
they will stay alive, they will not get executed. They've been attacked by
-
neighboring neighbors. So they started. Because of that, a lot of false
-
teachers comes and started to prophesy false teachings saying that hey, you know,
-
if you do do this and do that. No, there was even a
-
part if I come to remember, I think it's Jeremiah chapter not Ezekiel Ezekiel
-
Thirtain. I'm not going to go through that. It was Easyki were talking
-
about this false women who were actually making these bracelets for men. Okay,
-
if easy cult the thing, you can go and really quite amazing false bands
-
and then a head coverings for people so that they can believe that they will
-
be spared and their God and then they will not die. They were making
-
money off it as well. See they're smart at all because they know that
-
people were people were getting killed everywhere, so they want to know that they
-
will be safe, and so they pray off their insecurity. They pray off
-
their sense or need to survive as well. So what do the people need
-
at the time. They need hope, they need promises, and they will
-
do anything to grant favor, to grant to grant passage for it as well.
-
And so it's so these profits were then these false teachers and prosper They
-
know what the people want, and they will teach you and they will say
-
the things to you that you want to hear. For example, like what
-
hey, if they know that if you talk about say it's going to change
-
your lifestyle, what do people and what's the first thing that people want?
-
They of course don't want to change lifestyle. There's the hardest thing. If
-
I tell you if you're staying in all, staying not right with your boyfriend
-
and girlfriend. Who touch subject? But hey can save money for rental?
-
You know, I tell you that's my daughter. I said that I will
-
pay for your rental. You know, be able to tell me. You
-
know, I know it's touchy subject that, but it's true. Things like
-
that. You know, hey, I can save rental economy. I know.
-
But oh, I'm not saying that your your situation will be the same.
-
I'm not teaching parody. You know everybody's situation. Some things will cost
-
more for different people, a different life one. But the truth is the
-
truth. Nothing is the truth is irreplaceable. One you get me in right,
-
but it's inconvenient. But another person said, it's okay as long as
-
the two of you have good hearts. Intending in the future to get married.
-
That's okay, Sea, Which one sounds nicer? That one sounds like
-
a lot nicer. But still love, isn't it still covered with love?
-
You know? Still covered with grace? You know what a pastor you well,
-
you make me choose so hard. If you're a friend, you probably
-
will get away with it. But if you're a parent, how would you
-
say it? If I would say, if this guy, I fin you
-
know? If this means like I believe that for any guy or girl who
-
you know before they're married, they want to know before they're married they should
-
treat you with honor before you marry you. If they can treat you with
-
honor, I can trust that they will honor you after marriage. You can't
-
mean right. You must be it cannot be a different one. You can.
-
The fact that you can honor now, the fact that you have integrity
-
now means I can trust you with the fact that you can and you have
-
moral fluidity at this moment, I'm worried because you would be morally fluid next
-
time when you get married. You can't mean right. So pre marriage is
-
as important as marriage as well. It's what sets you up for that as
-
well. Oh okay, and I don't want to go into that, but
-
it's very I think you see the many teaching is that can that is very
-
difficult for people to hear as well. Sometimes we say that, hey,
-
if you're working, I think you're working a bit too much. It's good
-
that you are, I know, but why are you really working for to
-
prove that you're successful? I can get that bafore or I used to start
-
business. I really want to prove people that I, as a young working
-
the pastor and I start business, I can be successful. I mean ministry
-
that at touched, I want to be successful as well. Every sumone that
-
I speak I want to be successful as well. There is a desire to
-
be there. I want to be liked by people, to be honest,
-
if I preach right now, I want to be liked by you. I
-
wish that when I go out here, you will come to me and say
-
that, past you preach a very good message. I tell you, if
-
you say that to me, I probably can sleep on a very soft people
-
tonight down. That's what I want. Yeah, I mean I feels good.
-
I kid you know it feels good. You probably know the pastor and
-
if you're a soft lending there. It's so nice, but it's true.
-
But is there what I need to hear? You know, it's only the
-
Lord who does these things to us to grow us. Okay, But they
-
will speak what you want to hear, things that will each your ear that
-
you don't have any. They won't highlight your sins, they won't highlight your
-
unforgiveness, the small things that you know there is hinting at something wrong in
-
your life. You don't pay to go a doctor to tell you what you
-
want to hear. True now, But that's why we don't want to go
-
to doctor right now. Sometimes when we grow older, you see parents or
-
all the folks that they don't want to go to the sea doctor. You
-
know why because they just don't want to hear it. They don't want to
-
deal with it. Because you pay people to tell you the truth. Why
-
should I pay people who tell me the truth? There should pay me?
-
Why? It's hard, isn't it? It's hard? So they will tell
-
you what you want to hear. Okay, the next one Okay, they
-
will disguise themselves. Okay, they will disguise themselves wolves, same ship clothings
-
Okay, wolves ship clothings. What do I mean by then? Okay?
-
They I think that's one. I was watching a pastor preaching. I took
-
summarized this so well. They said that a lot of teachers and believers will
-
use the same words and terms as you and I. Okay, they will
-
use the same words and terms as you and I, but they have a
-
different dictionary. You know what I mean by that? They used the same
-
word, but they have different meaning. Ah, so when you look into
-
your Bible you will find this word. This is according to what we understand.
-
They will say the same word, but if you look at the dictionary,
-
interpretition different one and so they have a different dictionary. It can say
-
the same word, but we have different dictionaries. Turn to a neighbor,
-
said, I hope we have the same ditionary. Cool or not? How
-
many of you are? You go to your you're toughel or now? What
-
was the English at triple one nine? Or last time? My triple one
-
nine? And now I was I was so happy I got a in my
-
in my district for one or the two twist for a triple one. I'm
-
so happy, you know. But then when I went came to kas everybody
-
has its like it's like everybody there's nothing right, you know, It's like,
-
oh, you know, you cannot go in God for this test,
-
I having, you know, a different dictionary one h most of the time
-
we use Cambridge Oxford one. Right, don't go and use you know,
-
your own version. There's you know, I really really lost teaching one and
-
A. But it's true they have lost teaching. They use the same the
-
same jungle, but I have completely different meaning. Okay. And and the
-
thing is that they will disguise themselves even you know, Peter was saying,
-
they will feast with you, they would eat with you, they would drink
-
with you, they were dressed like you. They won't have any difference.
-
They will have your same friends as you, and something like that. But
-
then the teachings, the implications, the things they are implied are very subtle,
-
very subtle. And the thing is a lot of times they themselves are
-
not aware. They themselves are no aware. They say this, you know
-
wolves, how when they hear the house of another wolf, it's like the
-
wolf comes into the congregation and then the one just it starts with one wolf
-
to how and then the rest of the wolf. How. They don't even
-
realize that a wolf. Then they start to how who then and they start
-
to when the how? That's where the black boys, that's where complaint and
-
grudges, you know, all this envy starts to start up. They don't
-
realize that they are wolf, you know. A suddenly when they hear another
-
wolf, how, Oh it's great. Crazier ships are suddenly to how they
-
why it's the ship housing because they are wolf. They don't realize it,
-
but they start to how area that's true. That's why. That's how.
-
You must be able to understand this. So don't follow just the crowd.
-
The crowd will betray you. People are und saying no, don't always follow
-
the crowd. The crowd will betray you. Okay, be very very scared
-
of that. Now, next one, let's go to the next one.
-
What's the next one. They will deny crists, Ah, Peter said it.
-
Okay. They would say Jesus, What do you mean by denying Christ?
-
Okay? They would say, Jesus exists. Jesus. You know it's
-
true and everything. But if you go a bit deeper, you know,
-
what is the thing that you have to test about them? About Jesus Christ?
-
Just a name or use the same name. Good. Really, some
-
people use the same name. I have totally different meaning. One okay,
-
three to four major one the tree, most important one. Jesus came in
-
the flesh. Okay, Jesus must come in the flesh. Jesus come in
-
the flat through a virgimber Okay, came in the flesh through a vergimberth.
-
Jesus died on the cross, died, not suffer, only died, Okay,
-
suffer and died completely died. Okay. Some people not believe that he
-
didn't die. Somehow survive. I don't know how they think about there.
-
Okay, die, third one rose again, and if a fourth one,
-
he will return again. Four things. Treat of four things cardinal cardinal cardinal
-
means are supreme, highest. Cannot deviate from that one and all. Anyone
-
changes any of these four. You have to really start to step one back
-
awayready, another way, start to head off the door. Already, be
-
very very careful. Okay, this one. You should know the next one.
-
There will be popular. There will be popular. Okay. The Bible
-
says here in verse two, and many will follow. He didn't say a
-
few will follow. Many. There will be popular Okay. The thing is
-
because it's so powerful, it's so antireing, and they will make the way
-
very broad for people. He came in right just to say the narrow the
-
road is. Then the path is narrow, but they will make it very
-
broad, inclusive of anything easier. Because it's so broad, it's easy for
-
everybody to come in, and many will want to come. Okay, I'm
-
not going to go through all that, okay, so it will be very
-
popular. The next one they will covered. I was reading this, um,
-
this, doing a bill of research, and then was reading this,
-
Okay, this is not scripture, by the way, I want to paraphise
-
paraphrases. Then they were saying that they were doing a lot of manuscripts of
-
the early church fathers, not the Apostles second generation. And after Peter and
-
the Apostles moved already during the first second century, the churches were still battling
-
with a lot of false teachers and false teachings. So they were writings you
-
know that they wrote, Okay, including scripture. They stay out to the
-
different churches and not one or part of it. It's called the didache.
-
If you want to look at the idea. Okay, the didache so writings
-
of funding fathers. Okay, they're right, and then to these churches to
-
guide them on how a church should be should be run some of the things,
-
and one of it is to how to how to spot an apostate,
-
how to spot a lyne Feller. And I'm not going to go through all
-
of it, but finding it interesting. And they say that, you know,
-
if you've found someone a man of God, Soco claims to be a
-
man of God, you should welcome him. Okay, welcome him. You're
-
going to stay with you, and they stay with you Finally interesting. I
-
don't know why they say that, but I say, if the person stays
-
with you more than three days, the person needs a liar. I was
-
like, whoa, what'st like? Interesting? Why three days? You know?
-
But I guess it means that they are you know, really no,
-
not really just you know, not taking, but they are trying to have
-
other intentions are greater than really, like why are you staying longer than this
-
one? Or Another thing is that they should be paying or they should offer
-
to work. They give me right, they should be paying and should be
-
offering to work. Okay. Means that even the Bible is consistent as well.
-
Every worker is deserve their wages as well, and you stay, it's
-
a part you should offer to do, to pay or to contribute as well.
-
It's the right thing to do. And when the same way for us
-
when we are hosting someone as well, we should give them their wages as
-
well. You give me a person speaker comes and speak, we should attend
-
to them because they are deserving as well. Okay, so it's both ways
-
we should do the same thing. And then the third one, it's quite
-
funny, very interesting. He says. If a person comes and teaches you
-
and halfway through and say that I feel that some of you here have ten
-
thousands in your bank, and you know God has given has caught you for
-
a seasons or season or generosity. That person is apostate who they're was like
-
so strong, you know. Okay, right now, let's close our eyes
-
right now. Anyone who hit ten thousand and want to bank you to my
-
account right now, here's my touch and go very dangerous, very very dangerous.
-
Okay, very very scary. Sometimes I tell you, ah, I
-
think we have to be very careful to re examine. Sometimes I'm not saying
-
this is just for teachers that Okay, I think for ourself as well.
-
He's really for ourselves as well. Just not going just look at them when
-
you come to church. Why are you're really looking for the message? Just
-
bless me If it's not something that feeds into my world but requires me to
-
step out, let's not for me. Yeah right, it's not blessing me
-
directly. Oh you know, I want pastor to promise me to pray for
-
me, a prayer for me, a promise that I will really get it.
-
Tell me something I must do it. Nobody's gonna do that. You
-
can't demand it from God, want to know, because you are still entangled
-
to start in your what fleshly desires, you know, and God has to
-
deal with that if with every one of us. It's not just the pastors
-
and the preachers or those wire every one of us, you know, every
-
one of us have can't Sometimes we talk to church church people are hey to
-
our nice nice because you want to make a connection, because this person is
-
influential. Maybe this person has a business. Maybe this person would give me
-
stop tips. Maybe this person would give me proble or no stuff. We
-
are all very corrupted. We are all very corrupted. There's the truth.
-
You know, there's the truth. You know. Oh, maybe I want
-
to get on because I want to be included that the inner circle. Don't
-
don't say as that I tell you, children even do that. You know,
-
children't even know that. You go to school, even Victory Academy.
-
We have people, we have groups that does there as well. It's just
-
the way the human natures are wired. You are are so self seeking,
-
you know so, so we've got to be very very watchful about that.
-
They will cover, they will exploit you. Okay, now next one there
-
will be presumptuous, stubborn and bold to speak evil. Wow, now this
-
one might get mean to be a trouble. No, I don't get share
-
to trouble and not say this that now, Okay, what that means I
-
will later explain a bit, because there is a verse in second puter that
-
talks more about it. What it means is that MM because these people to
-
validate their their claims and their teachings, right, they will become bolder and
-
bolder. Have you heard like kids talk to one another before sometimes when they
-
try to compare who's better. My daddy can do this, my daddy can
-
do them, My Dada. Suddenly I started to say, my daddy,
-
Hey, my daddy very strong, can carry hundred kilo, can carry hundre
-
kilo. O can carry hundred kilo. Yeah, my daddy has deadly for
-
car before, you know, So somehow they will one another become bolder and
-
bolder. You know. Oh, my daddy has climbed the north Pole and
-
all up scaled the North Pole before and all. Oh, my daddy has
-
one hundred millions before and all like all these things. You know, my
-
daddy acted with Tom Cruise before. You know, Oh, God, I
-
think you're not become bolder and bolder one and all cost Are you sure?
-
Did you say that? Because no, no, I just want to up
-
one up the fellow. You know, you know why because they're what are
-
they doing. They're not just saying because there is this battlefield, They're trying
-
to one up another, you know. And that's where swearing happens. You
-
know. You know that last time when people that's why God said that you
-
should not take the name of the Lord in vain and people last time they
-
didn't know how to make promises or get the trust of someone. They will
-
swear and make a covernome based on or my father's grave, on the household
-
of my heart on then some of the day on this angel, they're injured,
-
this God. They got in eventually on God's name, you know,
-
yeahmen, right, and then they don't fulfill it enough, so they're taking
-
God's name in vain because they were trying to upliave themselves as establishing their authority,
-
their power and their claim as well. When teachers, when when we
-
get caught up in that, we get entangled in that, we become what
-
very presumptuous speaking speaking things that are there are not true. Presumptious means are
-
to speak out of your limit. Give me speaking out of your limit,
-
out of your circle? What is appropriate? Gaming? Right, you don't
-
know who you are. You suddenly lost your sense of awareness. And sometimes
-
you speak good things, and a lot of times when you speak bad things,
-
when you get angry with someone, when you don't like someone, or
-
something like that. When you speak presumptuously, you know, your heartbears witness.
-
Maybe I shouldn't have said that, but you already started the room.
-
Maybe more because that person is responding, you start to speak more. Because
-
that person responding, you speak more. You speak more more and more I
-
presumptuous. You suddenly open up the flood gates because you see that person responding,
-
because you want that person on your side. Scary, isn't it the
-
sin of presumption you get stubborn. Stubborn means you don't want to change,
-
you know, And it says self will you know this similar connotation self will
-
don't care about any what God says, don't care about what that person says.
-
You are stuck in your ways and you are bold to speak evil.
-
Now, speaking is evil. It's not just for against Christians and the teachers
-
and the pastors or the preachers. It's not just for the good sign I
-
hate to say it, but the Bible teachers that we also don't be very
-
careful to speak about the works of the enemy as well. Don't simply say
-
it, and I have scripture to back it up. Who how you know
-
a pastor? Please, if I teach anything wrong, such as scriptures,
-
I will be very hublicorter, but I will always refer back to scripture.
-
You must resist the devil, but don't simply go beyond your limits, because
-
it is not you who put the devil in chains. It is Jesus it's
-
always under the authority of Jesus. But when there are false teachers who work,
-
I do this, I do that. I don't want to go into
-
much. Be very careful. They got allow you to do that because I
-
said that in JUDEA, in the Book of Jude, I think it's a
-
book will be very specifically, Okay, in the Book of June. Okay,
-
that's something. So then I'm not teaching wrong things. Now, Okay,
-
do you only go one chapter on the very easy one? Do you
-
only go with one chapter on the Okay? If you read that um verse
-
twelve, see verse twelve, no verse eight. Okay, Jude, chapter
-
one, verse eight. Are we there? Ah, let's go through this.
-
This is Jude that are talking about false teachers. Okay. Likewise,
-
all these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, similar patterner reject and speak
-
evil of dignitaries. Again, the same word that Peter uses, dignitaries.
-
Now who does this dignitary refer to? Okay? In verse nine, suddenly
-
Jude talks about Michael the art Angel. Okay, why he talk about the
-
art angel? Yet the Michael the art Angel in contending with the devil,
-
when he disputed about the body of Moses. Say, yeah, Michael,
-
the Angel was disputing in in discussion, in dispute with Satan himself about the
-
body of Moses. Are they're not bringing against him him is the devil?
-
Huh? A reviling accusation? Oh, Michael himself, they're not bringing to
-
Satan a reviling accusation in all, Hey, don't just any angel Angel Michael
-
or No, he did not say any reviling accusation. But what did he
-
say? Say the Lord rebuild you? What they Michael do? He knows
-
his boundaries. He is saying, is that, Hey, these people are
-
false prophets? Are they don't know their boundary? Compared to even Angel Michael
-
himself, he even knows the boundary. You know. You get me right
-
when you deal with your enemy, No, your boundaries, be very very
-
careful. If someone is wrong or so offending, you are, no your
-
boundaries. When you step out of your boundary, you get in trouble simple
-
est in your life, in your workplace, in dealing with life. Someone
-
may be wrong, but no your boundary. No, every battle you must
-
fight like Who'm I'm a freedom fighter or you're a revolutionary? You know you
-
get me right sometimes my children. Sometimes I know I'm wrong, or maybe
-
I don't get discovered I'm wrong my children. I can't the case by God,
-
but my children must know there boundary true or not? Will you let
-
your own children speak to you like that to correct you our boundary? No,
-
there is a place. So even when we deal with the enemy,
-
no boundary, you're not. You're not because you are afraid of them,
-
because you fear God. How do you do scare of him? He said,
-
the Lord? Because he goes back to the Lord. He's the Lord.
-
So when you stay in there, you stay in God's protection and boundary.
-
Understand not. It's a very very important life and principle for you.
-
And this is what script chure people. You don't believe me underlying that you
-
maybe you go and go and study on your own. Okay, Now if
-
you go back to a second puter again. Okay, we go back to
-
go back to the scripture and we'll cover that that that that that the power
-
will come out in a second puter again, I promise you. Okay,
-
So we go through some of the things that the false teachers will do presumptuous.
-
Okay, let's go to the next paragraph. This one will be much
-
faster. Okay, let's talk about the fate. Okay, what will happen
-
to them? They keep teaching all these things, they're doing all what they
-
want, but they are doomed. Okay. In verse four, so Peter
-
says here, for if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but
-
cast them to hell and deliver them into the chains of darkness to be reserved
-
for judgment, and did not spare the ancient world, but save Noah,
-
one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on
-
the world of the ungodly and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes,
-
condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who after will
-
leave ungodly and delivered righteous Lord, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of
-
the wicked, for that righteous man dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul
-
from there today by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds, then the Lord knows
-
how to deliver the godlyier of temptation underlying that, and to reserve the unjust
-
underpunishment for the day or judgment, and especially those who walk to the flesh
-
in the last of uncleanness and despise authority. Then they are presumptious. Presumptuous
-
self will depart. They are not afraid to speak of evil of dignitaries,
-
the same as you read in Jude, same exactly. Okay, some people
-
will interpret it as ignitaries are the angels. I would I lean on the
-
side that your scripture should interpret scripture. You give me right. You should
-
not interpret on your own what you think. I should think that scripture should
-
interpret scripture. And I think that both Jude and Peter are referring to the
-
same thing. So the dignitaries is a very good name they are giving to
-
you know, the kingdom, you know down below they okay, they are
-
giving that name. Okay. It means that these people are not just saying
-
bad things about Nah, you know, Peter not saying about the enemy as
-
well. Whereas angels who are greater in power and might, oh, Peter
-
is also talking about the same thing. Angels are greater in power and might,
-
do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the lot. The angels
-
are not even doing what you're doing. You dare to do all these tile
-
things oh, so we have two scriptures, two parts there are supporting one
-
another. Correct, Peter speaks it speaks it as well, said, no,
-
don't simply bring up reviving accusations. Very carefully against your own people and
-
against the enemy, as weel sometimes the enemies. Everything is the enemies.
-
What did I do? What did I do? What did I do?
-
You? You did it yourself? You cheated yourself? You know? So
-
this so what what we when we look through this passage? Or what do
-
we learn? Okay? Very quickly, so Peter draws to three examples.
-
Okay, so three examples about what happens to these people. So the first
-
one we know is the angels. Now, some people will have dispute as
-
what is this fallen thing or this sin this angels did some there's one commentary
-
who will say it is these angels refer to the angels that fail together with
-
Satan. You know, one third of the angels of the angels of the
-
heavens fail. There is one interpretation. To be honest, there's no specific
-
Some people will say that these angels refer to the angels in Genesis chapter six.
-
How many of you have heard of about the Book of Enoch before ah.
-
Okay, the Book of Eno is not included in the Bible because there
-
are some disputes about it. But the Book if Enoch has been quoted in
-
some parts of the scripture because there are some things. So the Book of
-
Enoch will give a bit more explanation about Genesis chapter six. But Genesis chapter
-
six is something that people are very fascinated because it's like a lot of mythology
-
or you know, something unique, how the human race became, Like,
-
you know, were the giants? You know, the giants were called anarchins
-
and Nephelims, you know all these other things. Now, so there's this
-
part they were talker, and now the angels know they left their abode and
-
they came down. They soul the women of the earth, and they took
-
them as wives and both children as well. So it could be referring to
-
this angel as well. I don't know, to be honest, taste that
-
I presented to you, does it matter which one you believe? I don't
-
think it really matters that big implication. But the idea is that God punishes
-
even the angels. That's all you need to know. You don't have to
-
drag any further that. Okay. The idea is that God even don't just
-
punish these people. God will punish even the heavenly angels as well. God
-
will bring them into judgment in heaven and on earth. Heaven rules man,
-
Heaven definitely rules. Uh huh. God will punish the angels, not just
-
humans. Again, God punish. And then the second uh instance was talking
-
about what the no one. God not only punish the angel God, what
-
we God is willing to wipe out their entire earth and spare people the whole
-
earth, you know, not just the teacher. God's willing to go as
-
far as the whole earth, you're know. But other people say that this
-
is a stumbling Oh how can God, there is all loving you know,
-
where we'll destroy these people. You must understand that that God does not destroy
-
until the cup of iniquity is full. Okay, there's this there's this sense
-
about what way we read about the Bible. When God or passes judgment or
-
any whether Sodom or Lot or any country is there's is probably being called the
-
cup of iniquity. Okay, God, this long bearing and suffering. We
-
look at God's act as if like it's just one moment you did wrong,
-
pum slapt one your henrity. But God has has has sustained in perseverance and
-
long suffering, even towards the sinners, so that they may come to repentance
-
and his knowledge of his living kindness. We shorten that hundreds and thousands of
-
years into one moment, not understanding. Because of that, we short change
-
his grace and his love for people to repent. You know, gave me
-
right. But yet even when he was about to bring the flood, he
-
prepared and ark for people. But how many people responded to the preaching of
-
Noah, no one except that gave me right. Even then, Gods,
-
you provided an ar even then. So God is patience and long suffering.
-
Okay. And the third one Sodom and Gomorrah. So we not here.
-
If you were uh, if you hurt my teaching on Sodom Abraham, Abraham,
-
you would learn about Lord as well. The way I painted Lord,
-
it was like, oh, that such a bad person, isn't it.
-
You're so evil? You know, he'd always only see Egypt. Okay,
-
but here they say that he's a good person. You know, he was
-
a righteous man. Yes he is. He is a righteous man in the
-
wrong place. Unfortunately he is a righteous man. Indeed, but I didn't
-
get to finish the session. It gets actually quite dark, I said,
-
it's quite dark. Um, he was there. He when you know,
-
the Angel the Lord came and you know he hosted them. You know he
-
even protected them and even when they were you know, trying to uh demand
-
that the angel the messengers of God to come out and then do nonsense to
-
them, right, Lord tried to say, hey, don't do anything to
-
them. Say my daughter was like, what this guy, what kind of
-
a father is? He knows? But it's true. I didn't know it's
-
anybos true. But he feared the Lord. The one thing you can say,
-
he feared a lot so much. They don't want a daughter, They
-
say they want to the enoter that they got blinded and song, so Lord
-
really want despite his despite he feared the lot. Think he was heartbroken.
-
And God can use a man's a person's wrong choice. Okay, God,
-
a wrong personal tried to under his what sovereign real to do good out of
-
it as well. You made the wrong choice, but it's okay. I
-
can turn what you did wrong into a blessing as well, or into something
-
of my message as well. Given God will not always say say hey,
-
you did wrong, or your checkmate it already wherever you go. It's not
-
pleasing, but I can use that right. So if you made a wrong
-
choice in your life, acknowledge it. You can't start over, but start
-
where you are because God's will, God's Court's power rules over your circumstances.
-
He gave me right to make it work for you at that time. You
-
gave me right. So this is very important. You know, we all
-
made mistakes. Well, I made mistakes before. I was like, oh
-
no, it's not about starting over, He's starting. It's about recovering where
-
you are and learning to sink God begin where you are right now. Oh
-
that's very very important. Okay everybody, Okay, so far, take a
-
deep breath. I'm catching out with myself as well. Okay, So we've
-
got learned three lessons here. Okay, so let's move on, okay to
-
the next part, to the almost closing in ready now we talk about the
-
depravity of false teachers from verse twelfth on words. Okay, so we know
-
the teachers, the false teachers, they are doomed. God's going to bring
-
a judgment on them. He bring it he brought it on the angels.
-
He brought it on the world. He brought up my city as evil as
-
that. Oh, by the way, I mush shut. Yeah, talk
-
about Sodom and Gomorra are right? Um, the world is embracing LGBTQ plus
-
plus plus okay, a lot of pronounced. Ah, you must know your
-
scripture. Okay. People want to be inclusive. People want to make the
-
door wide. Okay, people say that, you know, you want to
-
make the door. People want to make the door white. Make it easy.
-
There's not the way of the Lord. You gotta stick the scripture.
-
It's not about being inclusive. Your good will, to your your good intention
-
to lert people can never substitute a truth. Wrong is wrong because it will
-
save you. If not, you will be getting entangled in this nonsense.
-
It is a deceit of the world. Okay. Does that mean that we
-
hate them? No? I know, Oh sorry, I know people.
-
I know. I have friends okay who are from the community, and that's
-
one time talking to them. Then they say, hey, what do you
-
do? Oh, I work for the Actually I'm a pastor. Over the
-
moment I said that, they were like, oh, I'm just a believer.
-
In a pastor some more and I was like, oh, I say
-
yeah, I said, how about you? Oh he think her I'm a
-
prod gee you know it's like okay, okay, yeah. And I was
-
like okay, okay. It's like then it's like, oh, what do
-
you think of us? Now? As I look at him, I said,
-
I think of you the same as everybody else. Everybody over, every
-
one of us are sinful and need Jesus. And that's the truth. You
-
are no different than I, not because we are equal. We all have
-
sinn You've seen, I've seen all have seen it, and we need to
-
repent. I'm not better than you because I have seen. The way I
-
look at that homosexual is is I look at the way if I've cheated my
-
wife, if I've stolen money, you have cursed God. If I not
-
love my neighbor, and all the same. We are all sinners and our
-
debt is among us. That is the way you should tell them. You
-
get me in right, You're not looking them at lower less. We all
-
need God. You can't mean right. And because of that, I love
-
you as a sinner, as someone who needs Christ as well. That's the
-
love that we need to give to them. But where did they come to
-
know the lot? You really pray that. That's why I say, oh,
-
he said that the person is looking into other religions, and say,
-
yeah, I understand. You know it's it's a journey. It's a journey
-
at the end of the day that you really need to know what is truth.
-
That's why I say what is truth? Is it based on what you
-
feel? Or is there a one God who says what is right and wrong?
-
You got me in right, Okay. It's very quiet, not easy,
-
not in an easy life. But you gotta love them, you gotta.
-
I still talk to them. I don't in this way. I send
-
them home and stuff like that as well. I don't. I don't.
-
I don't act weird. You must love them, You must talk to them,
-
engage them, but look at them. Have a proper theology about how
-
to treat these people. Don't don't be don't be caught up in the cultural
-
world. You know, or they're there they are entangl or trying to manipulate
-
you. Okay, have a proper theology about it. Okay, Verse twelve,
-
depravity of false teachers. But these like natural brute beasts made to be
-
caught and destroyed, speak evil or things they do not understand, and will
-
utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness.
-
And those who county pleasure to carouse in the daytime. Carouse means to be
-
but to be most specific, what it means is that reveling. Reveling means
-
are to really soak in and to enjoy in your works. Means if you
-
cheated some money while you're like, oh, I keep thinking about playing in
-
your mind, Well why did I do? Now asked? You know,
-
like laughing and enjoying, celebrating in it, It's called reveling. And give
-
me a right. Oh, if you know what I did, I gotta
-
tell you about it. You know, there's called reveling. You find pleasure,
-
you know, and enjoyment in it. Okay, So these people were
-
county pleasure to carouse in the daytime, in broad and daylight, in the
-
public. You know how these people are doing that? And they are spots
-
and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you. I
-
told you before, they are among us, while they feast with you,
-
having eyes full of adultry. And that cannot seize from sin, enticing and
-
stable souls. They have a hard trained in competious practices and accursed children.
-
Therefore sacond the right way and gone straight following the way. Obey them.
-
The son of Bure who loved the wages of unrighteousness, but he was rebuked
-
for his iniquity, a dumb donkey spank speaking with a man's voice. Restraint
-
in the madness of the prophet. These are whales without water, clouds carried
-
by tempers, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. Wow.
-
Okay, so let me summarize this very quickly. What it means is
-
that these people they think themselves wise and teach us but the truth, and
-
they think themselves to be free. They think they are free. That's why
-
we tell you to live freely. Don't worry from mine. Jesus has died
-
for us. Scenes are ready. You can live, how to do whatever
-
you want. These people preach a message that that really is very liberating.
-
Can do whatever you want. Don't follow Peter, you can't do like no,
-
restrain yourself, speaking certainly means and stuffing like no, no, no.
-
They are trying to tell you freedom. Peter, saying, these people
-
claim to be free, but they are actually the word is slaves, slaves
-
to what, slaves to their own deception. First of all, they are
-
slaves to their own deception. Means they cannot even see past their own lives.
-
They didn't lie to them to you first, their lie to themselves.
-
They lie to themselves. They can tell you all these wrong things, and
-
they lie to themselves that there are no consequences. And after a while they're
-
talking so much that they believe it is the truth. So some of these
-
people are four teachers. Are you look at them? They actually really believe
-
what their preach. That's the scary partner, true or not they actually really
-
believed God, They're so inid, really so deep into it ready, and
-
if you yourself are not careful, you will really be convinced of what you
-
really heard true or not. Very scary. So it's a warning for us
-
ourselves, not about them. Again, I say, don't always look at
-
them, look at yourself. Some of the things that you hold on to,
-
why did you do what? Why did you hold on to? Like?
-
That is because they are lived in a we call it cognitive descendance,
-
in a or in an echo chamber. You only listen to what you want
-
to hear. You're stuck. You are slaves to it. Okay, because
-
of all they they are stuck. They are slaves with their own deceptions.
-
Secondly, they are slaves because their eyes keep lasting after adult tree. They
-
are slaves. Their eyes cannot look at anything else, anything there is God.
-
Their eyes keep lasting. They say, the words keep lasting in all
-
means that anything just chasing after the last sexual adult sexual adult tree, things
-
of the world keep chasing, and your eyes keep chasing. Okay. They
-
cannot cease from sin. They are slaves because they are they cannot see cease
-
from sin. Their desire is to gratify themselves and their flesh. They're only
-
their pleasures about what makes me feel good. I feel good. What I
-
feel good is what I pursue. Wow, Okay, they are they can
-
they cannot there. They are slaves. But because they fine joy it and
-
enticing unstable souls. When they go and talk to people, they are very
-
careful. They know that I can talk to you, but you know,
-
but I cannot talk to you. I'm not I'm not sorry, Okay,
-
I don't want to be reckreful. I'm not talking about anyone. Okay,
-
please, it's just in the moment, Okay. They will talk to certain
-
people. You know why, because when they walk around they will survey.
-
They know who they can talk to. They feel the conversation. They feel
-
you, Hey, why i've been talking about these pubrics. We've been talking
-
a lot about money or stuff like that. Are so if I brought you
-
subject, you might respond. If you respond, then we can engage more.
-
They know, they have a scent on what you do. They know
-
how you think. They know where you've been from, and we can they
-
know where they can take you to the last time, when I was in
-
marketplace and other people, so people who will come up to me, they
-
will gauge me. One say, hey, no, we have a new
-
recruits and stuff like that, and somebody CEOs and high profile will talk and
-
they were gauge on, oh hey, I saw your work very very good.
-
Hey, no, you remind me of my younger self. You know,
-
Hey, one day we should go and you know, hang out and
-
stuff like that. You know, and they will gauge you and after work,
-
before long you neuralized that they will start to do business proposals with you.
-
I should do two things with you as because they know they will say
-
they are you a full potential thing. But sometimes people just want you for
-
your resources. Be very very careful. I got one guy who came up
-
to me. You know, he's trying to get me to have a vision
-
for my life. Literally, I want to give you a vision for your
-
life. Way of somebody laughing away. No, literally, I want to
-
have a vision for your life. Oh, this is like something like a
-
church we don't come up with with, you know, someone like it's like,
-
what this fellow. You could attend any church I want? I have
-
a vision for your life. What high level talking man? This fellow?
-
And then he said, hey, these are the books I read, and
-
he gave me a few books. I want a book. What's about this
-
weird guy? You know? And it includes an audio recording. So it's
-
about projecting wealth into your life. You're all laughing ready, It's about linguistics
-
and projecting wealth into your life. How many of you heard here before?
-
Huh No, don't go into it, pleasa, please don't go into it,
-
okay, whatever, I teach a peace warning sensor. So literally,
-
like you know, it's not about having it's not about like you no,
-
you know, just working hard. It's about desiring your inner self, your
-
values, believes must fully go into it. And I know some some companies
-
that either sell however productor they want you to have a vision and a goal
-
because when you bought into it, you will give your dedication and your energy.
-
They can't tell you spend less time with your family, but they will
-
tell you have a vision. Ah, true or not true or not.
-
I can't tell you to spend time with your left, with your wife.
-
You call that sounds very unethical, but I can tell you what is your
-
vision? Ah. That's all they do because they're not contending with your family,
-
They're contending with your belief system. What is what? What do you
-
believe makes you successful? Yeah? I mean right, it is your belief
-
everybody is made of a belief. Then your value, then your behavior.
-
Ah. So what they're contending with them So this is fell the gaming pro
-
checting this wealth. And then you know then the things that they take it
-
to the next level. You cannot just desire. You need to meditate on
-
it, so you actually put on the thing. Now. I was like
-
listening to a say it's talk about imagine you are as a beach five million.
-
How would you feel? Imagine your wife has a beautiful holiday, how
-
would you feel. So they came in. They tried to get you to
-
dream and associate that feeling and eventually let its sinking and put me into your
-
value, your belief in your vision. And when you get that, ah,
-
that's when you say I should spend that time with my wife, with
-
my church, with my children and everything, because it's embedded as your vision
-
and your values. Ready, m hmm. It's very powerful. You know.
-
Be very careful with the people you hang out with. Okay, so
-
I kind of passing back the thing. Sorry, don't be very careful.
-
Don't we even touch this thing? Okay, don't even touch don't even go
-
on here. Okay, don't we even go on year? These start things
-
know your name it. Don't even just pass it back? Trust me,
-
Tell someone about it. Okay, tell someone, tell them about it.
-
Please, don't don't tell them so that they can keep a watch over you.
-
Okay. Someone passing through some of these things, please please, okay,
-
someone say you know you've been so lazy. I want to give you
-
please if you want to help them, help in the right way, not
-
this way. Okay, so the last one the deception of horse teachers,
-
then it's pretty I will just read these passages and were closed verse eighteen four.
-
When they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allert through the last
-
of the flesh through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who
-
live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves or
-
corruption. For by whom a person is overcome, by him, he is
-
brought into bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world
-
through the knowledge of the Lord and save your Jesus Christ, they are again
-
the world and tangled. That's the key word. If all these things,
-
you will underline this word. The word is what they are entangled. They've
-
been saved, but now they get caught in the world. That's the summary
-
of this whole passage. Okay, and tangled in the world. The later
-
end, it's worse for them than the beginning. For if we have been
-
better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than having known it,
-
to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened
-
to them according to the true proverb a dog returning to his own vomit,
-
and a soul having washed to her own wallowing in the Maya means that they
-
know the way, but the pronouncement for them is that it's worse for them
-
because they know the way, but they are going back to their all.
-
For myself, it's a worse condition, Okaye, soul. They are aligned
-
to themselves and they are doom. Is there. We hope you've been blessed
-
by this message. For more information on our church, please visit X Church
