You're listening to a message to go from X Church. We hope this message

will light up your day. We are living in times where people are just

no longer afraid or have no sense of right and wrong and because everything goes

right. So there was a video that was shared by a pasta. I

haven't fully watched the whole thing, but it's the question was this what is

a woman? Is that a hard question nowadays? How do you answer?

Right? How how do you answer what is a woman? And everyone is

just afraid to take a stand because it's like if I say this, then

I'm wrong. If I say that, I'm wrong. But what about the

three thousand definitions of gender? Right? And so people are just being very

open to to to just kind of play paint whatever they feel like doing and

what is what seems right to them? And so wicked as about um and

I think in different countries you basically just do whatever you want. You know,

you today you feel like being a cat? Okay, yes you can

be a cat. Sorry I cannot say anything about it. Right today you

feel like being a woman, okay, okay, ken Tomorrow you feel like

you want to be adult or can can up to you? Right? And

so I was just very burdened with this thought that we will live in a

world that is increasingly wicked. What a way to start message, right,

um? And do you know that why cities are the way they are because

it's a concentration of human wickedness. Have you ever thought about that? Do

you know why there is so much more purity or so much more um,

you know, simplicity and life in the rural areas, right but but see

the whole migration, the whole globalization, is that everyone's coming to the city

because of opportunities and they want to find better jobs, better paying, you

know, a better quality of life, so to speak. And what happens

is cities now becomes concentration of wickedness. So it's not not surprising to find

that in the middle of town that's where all the bad stuff happens. Right.

Um. Increasingly there's more scamps happening. Increasingly people feel unsafe in this

town. Some people go to dangerious dangerous especially at night. If you're a

girl. Don't come here walking alone, right Uh? And that that kind

of pains to me. And in some sense, how do we process this?

Um? There are families here, the young children how do you bring

up your children in the world where increasingly it's harder to say you're a girl

and therefore you behave or you know you you you have all the biology of

a girl. But if you feel like you want to be a boy,

it's okay. How do we bring up our children? And what is this

generation facing? And are we making stands? Christians? And so the challenge

for us is how do we continue to stand on the truth of God in

this world where it's going to be increasingly difficult? Many of you right here

right If I ask you, are you persecuted? Right now? How many

of you say, yeah, yeah, I go to jail for my faith.

Anyone have you been to jail for your faith? Not yet? Right?

Not yet? So the word is yet, lah Because I think what

our role is as a church is to prepare the people firstly to understand the

times and the season. Jesus taught us right to recognize the times and season.

Do you recognize the times and the seasons that we are in right now?

Or we can be so caught up. And that's also the wonderful plan

of the enemy in our own lives, so that we don't take note of

what's happening in the world. We are so consumed with our own troubles,

well with our own problems, and and God is just reminding hey, hey,

life is not about you. Take a deep breath and take ten steps

back and see what I am doing right now? Do you sense what God

is doing in this time and season that we are living in? And it's

important because when when you recognize what God is doing, then you begin to

shift and align to what He wants you to do in this world a man.

Otherwise, we can be good Christians, but ineffective in the world.

We can be good Christians in the church. You can come every Sunday,

you can go for our homes or a cell group. You can be giving,

you know, and then you are ineffective in the world. You're not

making any difference at all. So how are we changing the world? Not

at all? Right? Think about it. Over the last one week that

you've had, how many can actually say, yeah, there were some moments

in my week that I actually impacted and changed someone's world. I will be

the first to confess that it's probably the last thing on your mind. Or

to go and like minister to someone, to go and bring light to someone

to change someone's life. Right, we can be very consumed just with what

we are doing and how we are operating, and just make sure that as

long as my salvations is intact, God, you're okay with me, right

and so? But basically, you know, I don't want to to bring

it to a point where we feel that okay, um, yes, um,

we feel there's a bit of conviction right now in our hearts and we

go like, okay, I think there is more that God wants us to

do. There is more. Right, turned to your neighbor and say there

is more. There is a lot more. Um. We are only given

twenty four hours a day, yes, and that is enough for what God

wants us to do. Sometimes when I say there is more to do your

thing? You want me to do more things? Is it you want me

to go out more into the community, you want you want me to whatever?

Right, It's really not about that. It's actually trying to look into

your own day. Right now, you're twenty four hours that God has given

you and ask and put the lenses to say, God, in these hours

that I've spent, has this been effective in furthering your kingdom? Or has

it been ninety nine percent for the my kingdom, my agenda, and you

know, my dreams, my vision and then God, I will give you

that one person on a Sunday. I'll give you two hours right here.

And and I don't know there is a sense of urgency? Do you know

that? M I We don't know if we have tomorrow. Honestly, how

many of us and actually can say yeah, I know I'm going to be

doing in the next three years? Do you really know? Life and death

is in God's hand right And while we have breath and while we have life.

I want us to just really have that sense of urgency and that conviction

in our hearts to say, God, there is something that I can do

today. There is someone that I can minister today. You have caught me

to be salt and light of the world. Can I be that salt and

that light in someone's world? Today? Every day? That's my prayer every

morning? God, How can I disciple someone? Do you know Jesus's last

commission is to go and make disciples of all the nations? Right? Um?

Don't think that is only going out for your mission trip once a year.

Yeah, don't say yeah, yeah, God, I made disciples that

they remember that one trip that I went to I made some disciples there.

But the rest of the year, three hundred and sixty four days left.

What do we do? What do we do with our lives? And do

you know that God says we will have to account for everything that we do

before the Lord? Right? You know that? Um? And and yeah.

So, so I just wanted to leave that taught with you to say,

how are we really reaching out to the masses? You know, I

know we can't reach everyone, but we can reach one. Amen. Can

you reach one? There is one person that God has put into your sphere,

your workplace, your family, your neighbor, your community that God wants

you to reach. And many times times we are just so blind that we

don't see, correct, we just don't see. Um. It's very funny

because I have two daughters, right, Um, one is a teenage girl

now fourteen. Emma is fourteen, and I have another younger girl. Her

name is Lizzie. She's eleven, and Lizzie has a neck a gift of

just being blind to everything in the house. I am serious, so um

so over the weekend because we were out the whole weekend, right, So,

she was like oh, yeah, you know, I had the yogurt

and the strawberries, you know, and it was really good. I'm like,

you know, we have yogurt in the fridge. You know, we

have strawberries. She's like, yeah, I looked and I saw because she

you know all this well, right, she will be like, Mummy,

I don't know where everything is. Honestly, I tell you, do you

even live in this house? She's so entitled because everything is given to her,

right. I saw, I live with my mom in law, with

their grandmother, so everything is just prepared for them, everything that they want.

So she would just ask my mom in law and on the table,

you know, it appears whatever she wants. And so I was greatly shocked

and surprised to know that you actually know that there are things around you.

And you know what she said, she said, I choose to see what

I want to see, my eleven year old, I choose to see what

I want to see. Uh And And while we laugh at it, but

it's true, right, we choose to see what we want to see,

um and and there are many times we choose not to see what's right in

front of us. And and I don't know, I think God is just

asking me to really open my eyes to see what's before me and to do

what's most important to him. And I believe all of us here are believers

or followers of Jesus Christ. I don't really quite um like not saying not

like, but the term believers. Right. Um. So sometimes as I

do ministry with different ones, um and and this is a very true case,

okay. Um. So there's this couple that my husband and I had

counseled before, so we do pre marriage counseling. Uh. And they just

celebrated that tenth year anniversary and then they signed their divorce papers. And and

as as I was talking to the wife, she told me, it's okay,

but we still believe in God, right right? How do you reconcile

if you believe in God but you don't follow his ways. See the devil

believes in God as well, and shudders. And I wonder how many times

we say, yeah, I believe in God, Yeah I believe in this,

I believe in that, and yet we glaringly say God, I don't

believe you know, I won't follow your waysa because God says I hate divorce.

And yet we go with whatever we feel like, right, I don't

love this man anymore. I don't feel the loving feeling that we had,

you know, when you first got married. And so you know the world

is throwing at this this mantra of just go with your feel correct. If

you feel like it, then go with it. If you feel like being

a DoPT, then be adopt. If you feel like today you want to

be a cat, then be a cat. Right you feel like And I

just want to warn the church that is very dangerous for us to rely on

our feelings. How many of you agree with that? Why? Because there's

nothing in the world of God that says trust in your heart? Anyone have

you? Can you give me the worse that in the Bible that says trust

in your heart? What does God? What say? Correct? Trust in

the Lord? But why are we making decisions? There's always trusting with our

feelings, trusting with what I feel like doing. But the Bible says trust

in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways.

Acknowledge Him and He will direct your path right in Proverbs. And so

you know this whole feelings thing God gave us feelings, I understand, we

acknowledge it. But we have to test the feelings, and we cannot say

just because it feels right, it must be right. Okay, just because

it feels good doesn't mean it's right, because already Jeremiah has warned us right

the heart is desperately wicked. Another version says it has no cure. I'm

like, God, what you mean this, this living, breathing thing in

us right here, all the things still right, is desperately wicked. Why

do we behave and why do we make decisions based on everything that this heart

tells us? Like saying God, No, no, no, No,

God, Even if I don't feel like worshiping you this morning, I don't

feel like clapping or jumping. I don't feel it. But your word says,

give praise unto the Lord, lift up your hands. So I will

lift up my hands based on the word of God. Not based on how

I feel. No, not based on whether the songs is very nice,

on whether you like kid or not. No. When we come here and

we worship God, we worship him. We are not here for a performance.

Yeah, and even right now you think you came here to hear a

great sermon, know you are here to worship Him and to hear his word,

because that's only when the transformation can happen. God is not going to

men just that that wicked heart. God want to give us a new heart.

Amen, he wants to do some hot surgery this morning. And say,

I think you know we we we need to check ourselves, and I

don't know how often do we check it. So I'm glad that you're here

for your weekly checkup. Every Sunday that you come here. It's a checkup

when you check yourself against the word of God. That is your health check

up. We go for our annual physical health checkup, yes, but we

have a privilege to have a check up every Sunday, our spiritual health checkup

and to say God, am I in the right place or not right?

Better? Still, do your own checkup every day? Please. Yes,

we say God's word is important. Now, how many of you believe God's

work is important? Okay? How many of you go to God's word every

day? Okay? So we say God's word is important, right, and

yet it's the last thing that we go to when we are facing our troubles

and our challenges, and the Bible says, don't trust in men? Why

why are we going trust in everyone else, go to God. This is

what trusts u. Trust is saying, I'm going to believe this work even

when I don't see it. What Selena mentioned when you know she caught you

when she opened the Alto prayer, is this You don't You don't place your

trust in your circumstances because many of us want to see, right, I

want to see this happened, and then I believe in you. Correct,

that's not faith. That's like saying, okay, prove yourself to me God,

then I will believe. Trust is saying I don't see it yet.

I'm in the fire, but I know that you are with me, and

therefore therefore I will walk through the fire. Many of us want to just

pray God deliver me from the fire and prevent me from all other future fires.

Correct, that's not how it works. Correct, that's not how it

works. You know it. And what God seeks and desires to do with

us is to really refine us and and to purify us, and to reveal

what's in us, all the bad stuff. You know, A lot a

lot of times the word of God says, you know, he puts us

through the fire to reveal the dross that's within our hearts, all the yucky

stuff that's there, and God wants to wash it away and clean it away.

Amen. Amen? So wow with that, let me go into the

real message intro right the advertiser only. Okay, anyways, um so so

um. For many of you, you know that we are as a church,

right, as a church, we really believe in making disciples of all

the nations. We believe in church planting, as you've seen all the amazing

reports. Uh. And and what we really want to raise is a generation

that knows God. Do you know your God? Do you know him?

Because if you don't know him, then let's not talk about the next generation

because you will not be able to pass on to the next generation who God

is. And you can see it right from the Old Testament all the way

what the fathers will task to do. Teach these things to your children.

Right. But before you can teach something, do you think that you will

have to go through the fire yourself? As right? You will have to

know who God is for yourself before you can actually teach someone else who God

is. And so our theme is Heaven rules. But I wonder how many

of us just say yeah, it's it's a nice sounding theme, you know,

Heaven rules, but there's heaven't really ruled in your life every day?

And what God has taught me as I meditated, you know, over the

months before, I'm like, God, what does this really mean? I

can't across this book right, this book and it's written it's actually called Heaven

Rules. Do you know that there's a book called Heaven Rules? And it's

written by this lady called Nancy Demors. And she has been so caught up

with this team as well. And this was during the pandemic in twenty nineteen,

all right, even before we launched it for our church. So she

wrote the book and it's really amazing what caught me from her book? Where

was her story? Right at the beginning? So she wrote, she wrote,

she started off with this story of a woman, a pregnant woman.

She's in her final trimester. We have someone here who can identify final tremester.

Four days to do date, four days a SONA. Okay, I

think you're there also going to pop soon? So any medical we got doctor

here, yes, um, coming yourself down, Okay, it's gonna be

shocking. UM. So so of course, as moms, you know when

you have children, you know that every time towards um you know you want

you want to check her baby's movement right ensure that there is movement throughout the

day to show that the baby is still alive. And four days before her

due date, she noticed on that particular day there was no movement from the

morning time. So she's like, oh, okay, maybe maybe he's just

sleeping right. Um, As a day progressors, she's like, I'm not

feeling anything at all. And of course the long story was they rushed her

to the hospital, rushed her to the hospital, and she delivered a stealborn

baby nine months and she had to go through the whole labor process, the

entire thing, and delivered a stellborn. And so this couple Um, the

husband was actually working with Nancy, the author of the book um and And

and so she she's been teaching right Heaven rules, Heaven rules. And what

was during that the ordeal when when the wife was in the labor ward um

Husbands, someone wrote on the dashboard on top of the hospital bit Heaven rules,

um and and it was the picture was sent to her and she just

broke down and cried, Heaven rules Christian Mark, how can this incident happen?

And and so um as as they were processing this whole thing. And

these are good believing Christians, right um. And and they they were as

as they were processing this thought, Um. And they had a funeral for

this child, um, that was born stillborn. And this was the testimony

or the statement of faith that this couple had over their child. And let

let's have a here of of what what they said at the funeral. And

and they said, this our precious Samuel Ethan. So the name of the

child is Amill Ethan. Your first name means God has hurt, and your

middle name means strong and safe. We had no idea that when God led

us to that name, how perfect it would be for you, because you

are now completely safe and strong in the arms of God who hurt our prayers.

I don't know what kind of feelings that they must be professing. They

must be feeling at this point, anger, sadness, grief definitely, And

yet and yet despite their feelings to actually be able to state that God,

you had it perfectly planned all along. Was it perfect in our human minds?

No, not at all, Like the worst thing that can happen to

any person. And yet they surrendered the child and said, God, you

heard our prayers. Our prayers was for this child to be safe and strong,

and that you you hear our prayers. And God took Samuel Etan back

to be with him. Where would your faith lie when you are faced with

such circumstances. So this is what Nancy says in her book Heaven Rules.

Right, this whole idea of Herald Rules. It means that you come to

this understanding where he is sovereign over everything that touches us, that nothing comes

to us unbidden by his desires to use it for our good and for his

glory and for the greatest things he created us to be part of. He

is a ruler over every diagnosis and prognosis, overall incomes and outcomes, over

the most daunting challenges as well as the most seemingly trivial details of our life.

Amen. So what is this Heaven Rules. It's it's a it's a

truth that we have to meditate upon as we go through our lives. Right,

Can we meditate on this a bit more? It's a conviction that you

carry. So before you make any decision, what convictions do you have?

First? Because what convictions you have will determine what decisions you make. Right,

do you agree with that every decision that you will make in life is

based on a conviction that you hold. So so you want to test all

your decisions to say, actually, what is my belief? What is my

conviction that has caused me to make this decision today? And it's a perspective,

right. And you know this thumb heaven rules comes from Daniel, chapter

four, verse twenty six. And this is when the king had a dream.

Right, the king had a dream. And of course you will know

the dream. I won't go in detail, but basically what happened was God

gave King Nabucania a dream to say that this is the tree and it will

be chopped off. Right. It was a big, beautiful tree, and

everyone comes to nest under it. Right. It signifies prosperity and wealth and

and and you know just the majesty of this beautiful, big tree. And

of course it was chopped down living a stump only right. And of course

the prophecy was given by Daniel to this king that says, oh, King,

I hope that this is about you. Man. Can you imagine someone

comes to you and say hey, I know what's going to happen to you.

You're like, okay, tell me, but don't tell me because what

happens was what Daniel told him was, Um, okay, this is what's

gonna happen to you. Okay. Let's you know. He actually warned him

to just repent of his ways, to do rightly before God and so that

this thing, this catastrophe, will not happen to you, right. And

then he says that as in and in as much as they gave the command

to leave the stump and the roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be

assured to you after you come to know that Heaven rules. Right. It's

not that we just say Heaven rules, But the important thing is that do

you know that Heaven rules in everything, in the small things, in the

big things. That's Heaven rule over our lives, all right. And the

process of knowing God is one way we can look at It is the process

of putting on the right lenses, the right perspective in our life. Correct.

So, um, many of you do not know that I am actually

um short sighted, right, which means I can see in here right now,

but I cannot see far How many of you are short sighted? Can

I see? Oh yeah, you cannot see? Why you sit so behind

her? You cannot see far right? So so why why I discovered I

had to get glasses is because when I was doing my Masters, I realized

I always have to sit in front because I cannot see. But of course

sometimes during your group work and know that you're you're sitting in different places,

and I recognize that I need to need it to get glasses. Right,

Um, but do you think these glasses will help me at all? Yes?

Yes, these glasses will help me, right, really, and and

many times we put on all these fancy, fancy glasses, right, fancy

outlooks in life. I don't know what it could be, but yeah,

we were just used to seeing things the way we've been taught since we are

young. We've been taught to think about success as oh, yeah, you

gotta get a good job, you got to marry the right person, right,

have a wife, have two kids, maybe two kids not enough,

and two dogs, and then live in a nice bungalow, you know,

and then go on very frequent holidays. Right, So this is a lens

that we've been taught. How many of you have this lens on right now

that you think that success or all the young woking adults are is measured by

how much you have in your bank account, how diversified your portfolio is,

how buff your body is, body fat percentage ten percent? Right? Um?

And then you go like, yes, I made it in life right

or you have like a million subscribers on your YouTube channel or your Instagram followers

right to you. Maybe these are the lenses that we've put on to say,

oh, yeah, I finally made it right. Uh, And that's

why we make all our decisions based on whatever we see right now. But

has this changed in any way to enable me to look far further beyond what

I can see right here, right now? No? Right? What do

I need? What's lacking? I need lenses? I need the right lenses.

Why? Why? What's the difference between this lens, this classes and

those class Oh my gosh, Sally so clear, I can see clear early

Now, what's the difference? What's in this lens? Power? Power in

our lenses? And where is the power that we derive as believers, believe

us or followers of Jesus Christ, God, God? And how we begin

to have the right lenses to see beyond just our current circumstances, beyond just

what we think is needed or necessary to look beyond. And sometimes it's to

take that ten steps back, right, Like I said, when we begin

to lift our heads up from just the troubles that we are in and begin

to look up and see what God is doing, we need to see through

the power of God's words. This is the lens that you need. Guys,

I don't know what other lenses are you seeing your circumstances? True,

because we can go around trying to put on all different kinds of lenses,

right, meditation, health, finances, wealth, I don't know what kind

of lenses we put on. And to think that, okay, I just

want to go through my life with this lens and they see no difference in

anyone else's life. But then to say, God, hang on a moment,

God, God, God, I think I have been very shortsighted because

God wants us to see beyond our circumstances. God wants us to see that

there is a bigger picture, a bigger hope, a bigger because when we

look very shortsighted and everything in the world seems so break right. Remember I

started off by saying it's a wicked world and desperately wicked. And if we

are consumed just by the wickedness of ourselves and of others, then how would

you feel give up lah? White bother? Right, white bother? Why

bother? Because we would feel feel that whatever that we do has no impact,

it has no change, it will not make any difference anyways. But

do you know that it just takes one one person to change the world.

Yes, his name is Jesus. Within many Jesus, there was one Jesus.

And can I say this to you that you are going to be that

one Jesus in someone else's life who have never heard of the Gospel ever?

You because Christ who gives us the Holy Spirit, and you now have the

spirit of God. Yes, do we all have the spirit of God?

We do, and we carry that spirit that will then shine Jesus through our

lives to someone else who don't know him. You know, the thing is

right. I am not surprised that the world outside is desperately wicked. When

they kill each other, when they rob each other, I'm not surprised,

Am I sad? I am sad? But am I surprised? No?

Why because they don't have God? What's even more scary is within the church

when we say we have Christ and yet we still hurt each other here,

that is even most carrier. That is even more alarming to me. And

I think there was one truth that I caught yesterday from the World Changes Conference

was this we we we are not afraid of the persecution that's going to come

from the outside, because you know that when persecution comes, we become stronger.

Right from the outside. It's the persecution insight against each other that would

destroy the church. It's that. Do you know when your body, this

body of yours that God has given you, when there are attacks from the

outside, virus, bacteria or whatever, covid it comes to you, and

the body puts up a defense right right, and we try together as one

united fight it. And and the body is amazing in our immune system right

to fight all diseases. But have you heard of something called an autoimmune system

disease? Here? I don't know where I got it wrong on, doctor

correct me, and I'm wrong. It destroys insight internally, and then what

what can you do? What else can you do when you are destroying your

own body from the insight? And this is what causes disunity in the body

of Christ, which is what else can we say the people of God who

have the word of God are destroying themselves? How can how then can we

preach to the world. Yeah, Jesus is heard over our lives when we

are backbiting and hurting each other. Okay, something to just bear in mind.

And you knows as we begin to put on these lenses, I just

want to give you some some thoughts of how do we continue to put on

these lenses? Is it comfortable to wear glasses and are when you first started?

No, we're not used to it. After many years of wearing lenses

that has no power. We are so used to sing things very blurly right

here, like okay, I don't know, I know, I'm very blur

My eyesight is very blur. But to put on this requires a discipline,

requires an habit, right, And if you really want to get serious in

your work with God, if you really want to prepare yourself to know God's

word in the coming day so that you're able to teach others, do you

know that the mandate to teach God's word lies upon who all of you.

It's not upon the pastors and the eldest only is upon every follow of Jesus

Christ. You have to teach someone. What will you teach someone, Kenny?

What will you teach someone? Oh? Everything that you know? Do

you know everything already? You don't? And therefore we need to continue to

study. Right, We need to continue to learn. And God is constantly

giving us new thoughts, new perspective on a particular issue. Right, and

we gotta be hungry. We gotta be curious about God God, because right,

the whole of God's Word is all about understanding Him, his ways,

the Kingdom of God. And then it also reflects who we are. It's

two things. Right. The purpose of the Word of God is to know

God and is to reveal mankind and what's within us. The Kingdom of God

is not about eating and drinking. Yesterday, Bdella said, this is really

about seeking God's righteousness. It's about peace of God and joy. Do you

have? This is your life right before the Lord? Do we have rights

standing before God? When God examines us today? How I interact with you,

how I spend my money, how I spend my time? Is it

all in righteousness? I have to admit no, I fall short far from

it. I prefer to admit far from it, far far from what God

has won me to, and I just have to say, God, I'm

so sorry. I'm so sorry that I wasted my time, my energy,

my money on things that if you look at it in hindsight, right,

it's all meaningless. A lot of things in our life. It's pleasurable.

I'm not saying it's not pleasurable, but it's meaningless because how would that impact

anyone in the eternity? I don't know. So God is just reminding me,

Wow, you know there are many things in our life that needs correction.

Right. I think the beautiful thing about God is that he loves us

so much he will not leave you alone. Okay, do you know that

you're not here to just listen to a feel good message, right, You're

here to listen to God's word that will bring you to the right direction,

the right path, the right way to think. And if we've been going

down the wrong direction, thank God he can allow us to you turn towards

him. Amen, a heart of repentant. You're not repenting? Is is

saying God, I'm going on the wrong path. I need to you turn.

You turn towards your way. You turn towards holiness, you turn towards

righteousness, you turn towards loving others. We are lovers of ourselves, yes,

not a sailing, God's sailing in Romans. We're all lovers of ourselves.

That's truth. Okay. And the moment we acknowledge that first the fast,

you will say, okay, God, you have to teach me how

to not be led by my flesh, how not to be led by just

my wins. And you know, my fantasy is my wants. It's really

not about us anymore. Can you let us sink into your spirit. It's

not about me, It's not about me. It's about what God wants to

do in you, true you, so that you will be used for God's

glory. Can we understand that concept that we have been bought by the great

price of Jesus Christ. Yes, do you believe that that it's not cheap?

You know, this life that you have, this redemption that you have,

it was not cheap because Jesus his very own life. So why do

we live our life as though like so wanton leah, like as though it

doesn't matter, you know, like some newspaper. Let it our life is

worth so precious to God. I pray that we will begin to see our

lives that we God, this life is so precious to you. You love

this life? How can this life be of use to you? That is

how we want to think about God and and and you know, fault for

I, Okay, I have to say. I mean my forties now I

probably have God willing a few more the kids who live God willing, I

don't know. I really don't know, but I do you see the things

right right now? Um? I actually keep a journal and every day right

it's like a time bomber. I would say a time bombloo to sound boom

and gloom la um. But but I write down this is the what day

of my whatever year? How did I use this for you? How do

I use today for you? God? And every day I make a record

of what I have utilized, what God has given me. And I mean

in terms of you want to talk about accountability and stewardship of our life.

That's the way I know how to do it. For Mila, because when

I look at I'm like, oh my gosh, that's how many hours I

spend on watching kay drama. M How did that add value to anyone's life?

No hanging out with friends all the time, and then not even having

the courage or the bonus to say God loves you. It's a real wrench

in my heart, like why do I spend so much hours and then yet

not bring God's love in the conversation? Why? Because you see the things

right, time is moving so fast, and the things as you grow older,

it moves faster. I don't know why. There's a there's a science

behind it, but it feels that every we're in June. Guys, hello,

we're in June. How the year is gone? But has it been

fruitfull? Has it been well spent? So it doesn't matter. It's not

about how fast time is going, you know what they say. It's not

it's not about how long the life that you live right this, But it's

how much you make of the time that you have on earth. I'm not

saying right love, but anyways, you get my content right. It doesn't

matter how many years you have, but how many how what you make of

the years that you have, that's more important. I am speaking to younger

people. You think you have a whole many many years a hit of your

writing, like all this loving God, serving God. Maybe when I'm retired,

you know, when I'm fifty five, You know, then I would

think about serving God. Lah. Hello, you think you got that long

time with it? Loving God and serving him starts today as you have breath

today. And I pray that you will continue to remember that. It's it

really is about what you do with today. It's going to be so much

more important. Amen. Um. And oh my gosh, the time is

just running right um. And and the thing is about putting on this heavenly

lenses right. I just want to give you three simple keys around it is.

Firstly, when when we begin to put on this HR right, so

um, this heaven rules lenses as we look at our lives now, okay,

um and um. And one of the breakout sessions yesterday at the World

Changes Conference is, um, the division of HR right? And what is

HR to all of us? Human resources? Right? And we say,

well, human resource very important in a company, very important in church?

No human resource. We cannot run church right, the one to set up

the chair, the want to play music for you? Um? And and

we can operate a lot of times on just looking at human resources right.

Okay, who who can I see? Who can I serve you? Know

who can I get to serve and all that? But can I encourage you

instead of just looking at human resources, can you look at heaven resources instead

human resources or heaven resources? Why do we live as though like, oh

we are so inlaca, don't have people? Can we look to God?

They say, God, you are the owner of a cattle of a thousand

heels. There's nothing that you cannot do. All things are possible to Christ,

who lives in the Amen. All things? Did he say some things?

Did he say only in this small area of your life? Maybe when

you have the flu he's able to, But when you have cancer, he's

not able to all things? All things heaven resources. Don't look to men

when you run into crisis, look heavenwards, just as Niel did. Right,

He put on this lenses all the time in everything. In all the

dealings of Daniel's life in the Book of Daniel, he constantly looked to God.

God, It's okay. You know you know why he can be a

chill? Did you know why Daniel is such a cool dude? Cool and

count because he's like, it's okay, I go to lions then or I

go through fiery furnace or I go through persecution with the King, I'm cool.

You know the coolness that comes in. It's only when you know someone's

got your back. You gotta know you got a daddy God, who's gonna

be like, Okay, do you trust me? Yes? You ask me

too, fall lean back words, Okay God? Do you trust God?

That way, putting on this lens is saying, hey, oh God,

okay, I see what you're trying to do here. I see I acknowledge.

So the first key is acknowledge. Acknowledge God in all your circumstances,

and say God, what is it that you are doing? And one thing

to do in the circumstances? All right? So firstly, I encourage you

every day. You know, when you go into your school work, when

you have a nasty boss, can you bring God in? When you receive

a bad report about someone's health your loved ones, can you bring in God

straight away? Instead of thinking like which doctor to go first? And go

to this one Jehovah Rafa our healer. Why do we go to everything else

except to the one who gives us the answer? Right? One of the

songs that we sang earlier was that God, you have all the answers.

Do we believe that God has all the answers or not? We say we

believe, But do you go to him? Hey, we say we believe

God has all the answer, this standard textbook answer. Right, But in

your every day, in your quiet, secret place when no one else sees,

do you run to God yourself? And I begin to just have this

awareness to God in everything. Before I start a project, before I make

that phone call, you know, before I send emails to clients, by

the way, I am helping with a training company, and before I send

any proposal to a potential client, I will declare the lot's prayer. And

then I said, I'm like God, it's okay. I get it your

will. I don't get it your will. I'm cool. I did everything

that I can already. The rest is yours. So do you know how

you can be a place of restedness? Right? We were all very busy

and stressed out in many things. Right. Do you know the secret to

coming to a place of rest is to say it's okay, whatever happened,

God, you are in control. You are a sovereign and I acknowledge you

in all my ways, acknowledging God, and he will give you the right

response, he will answer. A man and I don't have time to share

how God's favor keeps on opening when we acknowledge him. Do you know that

godious wants us to say hi to him every day? Do you know that

as a father? As a mother? Do you know it's very weird in

my child who lives with me don't even talk to me? Right? How

odd and awkward that? What kind of relationship is this? But God is

interested in a relationship with a child where he wants us to like, go

to him, Daddy, I need your help, Betty, can you help

me? So? In that sense? Right, that childlike faith, like

my daughter Lizzie has, is really childike faith. My mummy, give me

food, Mommy, open this for me, Mommy, wash my hair,

that sense of dependency, right, we come to a place where we want

full independence from God. Well, like God, it's okay, I got

this. We are self sufficient. But God is saying, no, no,

you have to learn to be God sufficient. You have to learn to

trust me because you don't know how to run your life, even though you

think you're very smart. No, sorry, God is saying, I am

God. Let God be God and let us be his children, Amen,

acknowledge him. Get acquainted with tests and challenges. That's the second point.

As you begin to put on these lenses, right, you know what you're

gonna see. Oh my gosh, there are challenges that's coming. But how

you would see these challenges? Now? It's not just oh doom, everything

is gone downhill? Right now? Do you know that Chinese had this word

It's called crisis? Right? All the Chinese people here who knows men dream?

You know the word? Okay, I don't know how to say the

willa in the word crisis. Right within the word, the Chinese word crisis,

there's actually the meaning of opportunity within it. Yes, am I on

a right track here? Yes, some of you don't know what I'm going

to study Chinese Brana Banana Banana means you are like, um, yeah,

white no, no, yellow On the outside you look like Chinese, but

inside you're white right because you're like, I totally don't know Chinese anyways.

Um. But within the word crisis comes this word opportunity. Many of us,

when we look at Cristie, you're like, oh no, why do

they God desert me? Why do you God allow me? Needs to happen

to me, right. That is the normal circumstances of this where we see

and we think that God, you just you know, your word says that

you're good, and you're good means you have to deliver me from all my

troubles right now, the way I dictated it when I wanted then who's God?

Yeah? But God is saying no, no, no no. Can

you begin to put on the lenses of what I'm trying to do in you

through this crisis. See, God is after perfecting us. God is after

chiseling. I remember I said, bringing out all the drusts within our hearts,

all the wickedness, and he will cause us to rub wrongly against each

other. We don't like the rubbing right who likes to be rubbed the wrong

way? Nobody, don't touch me. But can you begin now to see

that everything that has happened in your life is a way of God trying to

reveal what's inside us. Our response? You know, offenses right, Offenses

come in many ways. It's not that offenses will come right, But how

do you respond to the offense? Is what God is looking at. God

is not looking at Wah, You've got ten offenses, not give you twenty.

But God is just testing to see how would you respond to the offenses?

And what does this word say? When it comes to offenses, they're

known God's word. What did God say? Is just learning your previous homes.

Let's hear that again. Forgive how many times? Many times? Is

the answer? And the answer is as long as you need to. It's

not about the number of times. It's as long as much as you need

to forgive that person, you do it because forgiveness is the cleansing of your

heart to get rid of the offenses. Don't let it stick to you,

guys. Offenses will come on. It's okay. It's like, learn to

wash it off. Learn to wash it off? Right? And what we

speak? You know our words? Our words? Our words? Can we

be careful with our words? We are representation of Jesus. Remember I said

to some people you will be the only Jesus that they will ever hear.

What kind of Jesus do you want to represent to them? What kind truthful,

honest, kind, gentle, loving, caring? What kind of Jesus

do you want other people to see in you? It doesn't matter who you

encounter. It could be someone that you will bump into later as you go

out for lunch, a very rude customer or cashier that you will meet later.

How would you respond? You shout back at them. We sometimes when

we let our got down right, our emotions just go out and and we

shall buy you. You can shout, I can shut louder. Sometimes I'm

like, oh my gosh, Christina, don't see la. But to not

represent christ? Right? What kind of representation do we bring before others?

Um? And and sometimes right? Um? And I just want to end

with this thought. Um so, so remember I told you that King Nebukanea

had that warning? Right, what we what would we do when we receive

such warning? Of course, the textable answer is we will not do it

right, we will be quite quite obedient and be repentant. And of course,

um, king nebug he's very good at his words. If you look

at Daniel, chapter four, verse two, he says, Wow, I

thought it's so good to declare you know that God the Most High has worked

for me. It is his signs and his wonders. God his dominion is

from generation to generation. Right, he says, this declass it. We

can say all the right words, guys. We can say all the right

words, and twelve months down the road, one year, one year down

the road, what happened? What happened? One year down the road?

He forgot, He forgot that Heaven rules, because the pride of life would

cause us to come and say, now, why it is me? Okay,

I'm paraphrasing like when I'm so good, la, look at me.

You know, the kingdom is flourishing, you know what, the people are

prosperous. Why I'm pretty good, lah, you know, pretty proud of

myself. The moment he said that God took away his sanity and he began

to eat grass like a cow for how long? Seven years? And it

was in that seven years of instant and then one day he remembered, here,

I remembered, actually, Heaven rules. Now I know now, I

know that it is God who rules. It is God who has given me

everything. Look at your own life right now. Everything that you have,

every success that you have achieved, is it from you. Every good thing

comes from the Father, every good thing, every good thing. And so

the warning to us is, let us not become conceited. Let us never

forget that it is God who rules and reigns in our lives. Amen.
