  1. You're listening to a message to go from X Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your team today. I want to talk to about talk to

  3. us about bread. I can't make bread for the life of me. I

  4. just it's so hard. But like bench, Okay, I am the bread

  5. of life. Jesus says he is the bread of life. Amen. Wow,

  6. There's so many things that Jesus can be to us. The way he

  7. shares and speaks when he spoke to the people in the time that he lived

  8. in Bible times, um and and what they understood to what it is that

  9. bread means to them. And you know, if you ever I'm sure if

  10. you ever travel up to to you know, the to to to Israel,

  11. to Jerusalem, or to any part of these Middle Eastern countries and you go

  12. down to the desert the you know, you climb you you walk into the

  13. desert areas and when you look at them rocks, right, they really look

  14. like bread. Law Okay, I don't know. And that's why you know,

  15. when Jesus went into the desert for forty days and forty nights, and

  16. then at the end of it, he got hungry, and then you know,

  17. Satan came the tempt him and said, hey, please turn those rocks

  18. into rotilla. You can do it, you can do it, you can

  19. do it. And uh. And Jesus said, no, no, no,

  20. man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes

  21. from the world, from the mouth of God. And they're like, wow,

  22. he must look like bread that Jesus so hungry could have. He could

  23. have, he could have, but praise be under Jesus, a self control,

  24. the obedience to his father, and the calling of his life. He

  25. didn't. He just told Satan, speak to the hand, all right,

  26. and there there, there you go. The bread. No, there's so

  27. so much into what it is bread for us. So I want to share

  28. with us today what Jesus says. He is the bread of life. Amen.

  29. If we look at this verse, I want to read us John six

  30. twenty seven. Okay, it says here. Now this is Jesus saying,

  31. do not labor for the food which parishes, but for food which endures to

  32. everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you. Because God the

  33. Father has set a seal on him. God the Father has given an approval

  34. on Jesus. And being you know, the only son that God had and

  35. he gave his son to the earth, who walked on earth as a man.

  36. So Jesus speaking to the people, they understand. They would have understood

  37. what bread is to them. Don't labor for food which parishes were, but

  38. for food which endures to everlasting life. And God has set a seal given

  39. an approval on Jesus. Amen. Then we go to Isaiah fifty five,

  40. verse two. Yeah, Issa fifty five, verse two and and and he

  41. says, you know, Isaiah was writing, God was speaking to the people

  42. of Israel, why do you spend money for what is not bread? Friends,

  43. don't eat gardaniel? Okay, sorry, all right, and your wages,

  44. all right, for what does not satisfy. Listen carefully to me and

  45. eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance. God

  46. is just saying to people, to the people, hey, you know,

  47. why do we spend money on what is not bread? So if you make

  48. your own sour though, that's real bread. If you buy gardania, that's

  49. not real bread. Okay. But if all we have is gardaniel, we

  50. have to eat love it. But the real bread, you know, you

  51. put the real wheat in it, you put real stuff in it. And

  52. there's no preservatives or I don't know what else you put in those breads like

  53. ke like this real bread is like you're eating grass. One time I made

  54. bread from my husband. He said, why does it taste like grass?

  55. Because it's made of wheat. Real wheat is real bread. Nont give me

  56. Gardaniel, please love eat my real bread is real. You know, the

  57. real thing is healthy. You know, digestion and all. It's good for

  58. your tami. But he wants to eat Guardian, you are you right?

  59. But that's not real bread? And and by what was God saying? Why

  60. do we spend so much money on what that does not satisfy? But says,

  61. come and listen and eat what is good because I will give you abundance.

  62. That God is saying abundance. Um, don't spend on something that will

  63. not last. And so when we talk about Jesus, and you see that

  64. verse in John chapter four, sorry chapter six and verse forty eight, he

  65. actually says, I am the bread of life. I am the bread of

  66. life? Or what does that mean? So I want to draw us and

  67. I think we know this God is our sustenance. He wants to remind us

  68. that the Lord is our sustenance, all right, sustenance. And they understood

  69. that in Jerusalem, in Israel or any part of the Middle Eastern world,

  70. bread is a very key uh food. Come or think that they would eat

  71. right bread? Um, they won't even be eating rice. Maybe to us

  72. you will be I am your rise of life. Okay, In Asia we

  73. eat rice. I don't think we eat bread like we eat bread like wil

  74. you know where some people love bread. But rise, rise, and it's

  75. just life. Right. I am the rise of life. But he said

  76. bread of life. So to us who are not Israel, we don't live

  77. there, but bread won't make sense because we don't live there. God was

  78. Jesus was speaking to the people at that where he lived, and so they

  79. knew what bread was. That's why he said, I am the bread of

  80. life, sustenance, and and and I'll come to this. I will just

  81. draw this in for us as a reminder. Simon Peter in John six sixty

  82. eight said, But Simon Peter answered him and said, Lord, to whom

  83. shall we go, you have the words of eternal life. Lord, whom

  84. shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Now he has

  85. hanging there. Just you know this whole chapter on chapter six. John Chapter

  86. six starts with Jesus feeding the five thousand with the disciples miracle of feeding five

  87. thousand with just the five loaves and two fish. A whole message there followed

  88. by that was that Jesus was walking on water and in the midst of the

  89. Galilean Sea. And then comes him standing in this place in the you know,

  90. the mound, like the sermon on the mountain, and he's saying,

  91. I am the Bread of life. So the people were looking for Jesus.

  92. They had seen the five loaves and two fish that fed five thousand men.

  93. Only there were women, there were children. And then they picked up twelve

  94. baskets of you know, crumbs, friends, are you know how many of

  95. you know? Crumbs are worth a lot? Another message for another day,

  96. all right, But and then they're like so amazed, right, and then

  97. they want to follow Jesus. They saw the boats going out. How come

  98. Jesus did not sit on the boat. Then they went to look for him,

  99. found out he was on the other side of the sea. They go

  100. and you read then John sixth right, and they say where you know they

  101. you take it up from twenty six twenty five verse twenty five, he had

  102. come to Camponium, and they say to him, Hey, Rabbi, you

  103. know when did you come here? How did you come? You didn't even

  104. we saw you. You didn't get on the boat. But Jesus was walking

  105. on the water. Wow, just show off, you know, like okay.

  106. Only Matthew writes that our friend Peter had a chance to walk on water,

  107. the only human ever to have walked on water. And then he had

  108. to fail it like had to look at all the stoma and sink jeeze,

  109. all right, but they couldn't imagine how come he got across. So these

  110. were the events taking place before he speaks to them at this at this time,

  111. when he sits at this place teaching them in Camponium. And so this

  112. is then Jesus starts speaking to them. And you can read that from verse

  113. chapter six, twenty five, twenty six, all the way right through the

  114. sixty over Versus sixty six, sixty eight, Versus Us. And you know

  115. when did Jesus, When did Peter say, the Lord, whom shall we

  116. go? You have the words of life here. So in verse forty age

  117. Jesus saying I am the bread of life. You have to eat of me

  118. my flesh, and drink of my blood. That was it. No,

  119. this is human sacrifice with God one his people to have human sacrifice. What

  120. was Jesus really really saying. He was talking about his death at the cross,

  121. the blood that would be shared, his body that would be broken.

  122. But he meant it that way, and so it meant a lot to them.

  123. Really, if you were Jewish we lived in that culture, those things

  124. would speak to you. But their hearts were like, eat bread, I

  125. don't know, eat your flesh. And then they thought, this is a

  126. heart teaching. This is a heart saying, sorry, Jesus, we're not

  127. joining your church anymore. We're living. So in John chapter six, verse

  128. sixty six, they left him. When they left him, Jesus looked at

  129. the telf and gore, like, dude, you still want to follow me?

  130. And this is when Peter says, Lord, to whom shall we go?

  131. You have the words of eternal life, Amen and wife. So we

  132. will now see it together. And you know as well the sustenance that while

  133. we have Jesus in our lives, he is well, not the bread that

  134. we eat, but the bread in the form of his word. His word

  135. is our sustenance. Amen. Amen. The Word of God. John chapter

  136. one and verse fourteen. We see that in the beginning was the Word,

  137. and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. So in

  138. the beginning was Jesus, and Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God.

  139. You replace the Word. And then Jesus had to come to earth.

  140. And this word, Jesus became flesh and dwelt. The word became flesh.

  141. His name is Jesus. He dwelt among us. We beheld his glory,

  142. the glory as of the only begotten of the Father. He was full of

  143. grace and truth. Amen, this is the Word. This was the living

  144. Word. He is also the living Bread. And then in Joshua chapter one,

  145. verse eight, we why what do we see from here? And how

  146. can we apply this is? You know the Lord was telling Joshua. Um.

  147. Yeah, I spoke to Joshua, saying, this book of the Lord

  148. shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and

  149. night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in

  150. it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will

  151. have good success. So, if we want to be successful. We want

  152. to prosper. The Lord is saying to us through his word that we need

  153. to meditate on his word day and night, your daily devotion, your daily

  154. reading of God's word and this word. That time they had the Book of

  155. the Law. But when Jesus came he currently he is. He is.

  156. He's you know, if he if he spoke to us he said I is,

  157. he won't say I am all right? He is all right, he

  158. is. He was not a before, he is not an after. But

  159. he is. And when you read of God's word, this is the word

  160. of life that will bring you the prosper you to bring you good success.

  161. Amen, So sustenance for us our church? What um? What truly is

  162. the Lord to you? How do you see our God, our Father?

  163. Amen? Uh? Is he your bread? Is he your everyday bread?

  164. What are you chasing after? Oh? More? Chi chunk? Fun?

  165. Hey more sat? What are we chasing after? Here? The Lord?

  166. He say, hey, don't labor. What are you and I laboring for?

  167. Are we laboring for the eternal word of God? Are we working you

  168. know, to buy something that won't last? But he's but Jesus saying to

  169. us, I am your bread. I am your sustenance. This is who

  170. I am. I've given my life for you. And when and we talk

  171. about bread, be reminded again the only way we're going to really be sustained

  172. is every word that has come from the Word, from the mouth of God.

  173. Today we have the written word of God that becomes the inspiration word of

  174. God to us. As well. You have the Lord's word, the written

  175. word, and then the revealed word, which is the rama word of God.

  176. But we need to read his love letter to us. Amen. As

  177. we all need sustenance, we can have. We can take supplements right,

  178. all our vitamins right, all of you will buy your supplements. Uh.

  179. We add on and we and even you know, imagine our walk with Jesus.

  180. We might add on other things. But what is your core diet?

  181. It may may it always always be the word of God, Amen, the

  182. word that you would partake off daily, um and and and eat of the

  183. Lord. Eat eat of the Lord daily. Because one of the things that

  184. that Jesus says to us in John chapter six, I didn't have it on

  185. the screen, but you can look at your bible. John chapter six and

  186. and verse thirty five. Jesus said to them, I am the bread of

  187. life. He who comes to me shall never hunger, and he who believes

  188. in me shall never thirst. You shall never hunger, you shall never thust.

  189. Isn't it awesome that In John chapter four, Jesus speaks to the woman

  190. of Samarian says, you know I can give you this water that when you

  191. drink it, you will never thirst again. He was the living water,

  192. now he's the living bread. In verse fifty one of John chapter six,

  193. he says, I am the living bread. So so you and I are

  194. beholding this living water and living bread. Who is whom we are living in

  195. and walking in church? We are we being filled? Are we hungering for

  196. God's word? Are we hungering and thirsting for His presence more than everything else?

  197. What are we hungering for? Some of us are thirsty for success,

  198. not bad thing we are. Some of us are hungry too, you know,

  199. be significant over some things. We are. We're hungry for more riches

  200. earned the whole world. Maybe want to earn everything, earn everything. I

  201. don't want the word have everything in this world so that we will be happy.

  202. But we're not just called for happiness. Were called for eternal joy.

  203. And that's what Jesus saying, I'm your sustenance. You will never hunger and

  204. thirst when you have me. And isn't it isn't it not too surprising?

  205. In Matthew chapter five when when we're in sorry, you can read that,

  206. Yes, in the Beatitudes in Matthew chapter five, where the Lord Jesus says,

  207. you know, those of you who hunger and thirst after righteousness? What

  208. do we hunger after righteousness? You all you will be filled? So we

  209. want to be filled and full all the time, hunger after the righteousness of

  210. Christ, which she already clothed you with. When when Jesus comes into your

  211. life, there's the beauty of just made righteous and in Christ. And that

  212. when we hunger for the Lord. You know, that's the thing. When

  213. you wake up every morning, do you hunger for the Lord? You desire

  214. to first thing is to taste the Lord, to speak to Jesus, to

  215. receive his eternal word first thing? Or are we up with the radio first?

  216. Or we check our hand when I aways check my handful when I wake

  217. up? Because in case someone died, you know, funeral have to I

  218. have to do all that, you know, someone dies, someone's hospital,

  219. I do that I check my hadvoit, or some somebody fails, some emergency

  220. happens. I always check. I haven't checked with Jesus yet, but my

  221. habit. But what do we hunger for? The first thing? The first

  222. thing the first day are what are we feeding ourselves with? And what do

  223. we really really desire for? I believe the Lord wants to remind us today.

  224. May we make him the living bread in our lives. Otherwise we will

  225. lack, We will be looking for other things to feel our hunger and our

  226. thirst. And there is such a need of a revival of people of God

  227. to be revived, to be hungry for the word of God, for the

  228. presence of God, to be hungering and thirsting for prayer, because these are

  229. things that come together that make us grow, make us live, make us

  230. experience the fullness of God. You know, pray such a big thing.

  231. Once you read God's word, you want you know that prayer is the sister

  232. there already after you read a lot spoke to me that I pray about what

  233. God has spoken to me. Right, And so they come together. There

  234. needs to be a revival of hungering for God's word and for what matters to

  235. God. So sustenance is your main sub sustenance, the living bread, living

  236. bread, not versus gardenia or sour dough, but like how we enjoy it.

  237. Make the living bread of Jesus feel your heart. And every time you

  238. make bread, you say, I'm making Jesus. You know, every time

  239. you make bread, you're like, wow, if I can make bread and

  240. spend it takes at least twenty four hours to get to us our door done.

  241. How about when you wake up before you sleep? I see my husband,

  242. really he pays the price for this, but he wakes up really early.

  243. I used to wake up earlier than him. Now it's like, really,

  244. he's the one earlier for thirty five o'clock. He's out doing his quiet

  245. time, reading with prayer. I don't know what he's talking to Jesus so

  246. much all the time. I guess he has to because he's leading a church.

  247. He can't play a fool. So I'm gonna tell you your founding senior

  248. person does not play a fool. He's there for hours. I'm not a

  249. wait outside, like can we go breakfast? You're all like you know on

  250. Saturday. But I cannot disturb him. He will not answer me. And

  251. even if it's something apply doesn't doesn't does, he just has to finish his

  252. conversation with Jesus. Like you're talking so much with Jesus. You have to

  253. be like Jesus for you. But yes, he's always talking to Jesus a

  254. man, halleluish. I'm thankful for that. And then before he sleeps,

  255. he won't talk to me or so because he's talking to Jesus again and he's

  256. reading the Word of God. He's memorizing scripture before he sleeps. On the

  257. other hand, Auntie here looks at recipe. I'm so spiritual. This is

  258. your pastor rescue because I have to cook for tomorrow. That also happened during

  259. a pandemic. I had such pressure to cook every day, are yo.

  260. Now I cannot cook anymore. Every day I had to cook, I had

  261. no more recipe to cook. Yo. It also, but just saying anyway,

  262. doesn't talk to me before he sleeps because he's reading the Bible again,

  263. he's memorizing scripture. And then then that's it's out with a light out on

  264. like a light you know, it's done's you know, and he wakes up

  265. next mon again me, Jesus, you were always talking to Jesus. Hallelujah

  266. Um. That's a good thing, because Jesus really is our pastors living bread.

  267. And yes, you'll be listening to the Lord all the time, so

  268. that whenever he does lead the Church of God, he has to be hearing

  269. from the Lord. So I have I cannot complain every time Toma says he's

  270. play he's talking to Jesus, I cannot. And then when when husband's not

  271. nice to the wife, Jesus, you talk to him, tell him he's

  272. not right. I want it my way. I don't know. The Lord

  273. may not do that for me. But yes, this is where that sustenance.

  274. How does want any of us sustain our walk with Jesus? Friends,

  275. you need the bread of life. You need the man with the living word.

  276. Jesus has the word of life. If not, you cannot. I'm

  277. walking with Jesus for forty years now. How can I sustain this? From

  278. what? I don't tell you why? And I met Jesus. I was

  279. a teenager, okay, I your grandma, Okay, so you know how

  280. can we some people are How can you? How can you be sure that

  281. you will sustain this long? I tell you that's no formula. It's hard

  282. work. You need to eat bread. You need to eat the bread of

  283. life. It sounds like it's so dry, like eat this bread right,

  284. eats our brow without butter and or live it's very dry. Rise on the

  285. same lie. Every day you eat sour to Jesus. World also like that,

  286. every day boring. Give me new revelation, please, brother and sisters.

  287. God's revealed word is there. So it's dry. Sometimes you're like,

  288. I'm reading the world or got every day everyde like boring. It's boring that

  289. gets you to living. It's not the exciting and the baby or a fire

  290. work that would burn you every day you want fireworks, all right, No,

  291. you have to have the boring, the day to day that every day

  292. I'm reading Jesus talking to me like this, praise a lot that Jesus want

  293. to talk to you. And because I know you don't up the meal,

  294. I call you make appointment. Sorry VSA, no time, okay, But

  295. Jesus, Jesus wanted to talk to you all the time. I tell you

  296. what, God is so amazing. He's the most patient god I ever known,

  297. I've ever known. I've watched you in other other gods before but he's

  298. the most kind, most forgiving, most patious, He's so long suffering with

  299. us. So frians, bread is boring without any other deep. You don't

  300. put tomato inside and comma with kasha. It's boring, right. So it

  301. is so when you read the Bible every day, some days it feels like

  302. I've read this before, Read it again, read it again, boring.

  303. No, read it again because there therein lies the Word of life. And

  304. that's where you sustain and you follow Jesus and he teaches you. That's where

  305. you learn all that you and I need to learn in as we progress and

  306. grow and develop about the fruit of the Spirit in our lives, allowing the

  307. Holy Spirit to minister to us. Because God's Word is becoming aliveliness. Friends,

  308. it is the boring that keeps us going. It's not that exciting that

  309. only lead. Yes, we need some excitement, we need some fire words,

  310. but every day fireworks a bit hard, lah right, So we need

  311. some solid word of God. He is our living bread. His name is

  312. Jesus. Hallelujah. I'm grateful for the Word of God that hasn't changed.

  313. We are living in very, very, very challenging times. I'm not here

  314. to say what those challenges are. Not that time to talk about it.

  315. But you and I will face these challenges. We may have to walk into

  316. the fire, but there's always the fourth person in the fire. There will

  317. always be that fourth person in the fire. We will have to walk through

  318. the fire. We will be faced with many, many challengers. As I

  319. speak to our churches across the globe, leaders are telling me what's happening in

  320. their workplaces, what's happening there? How can they make? Also? Do

  321. not how to say except please follow Jesus law. I don't know what to

  322. say because so much is coming against the believers of Christ. To compromise,

  323. to agree with what everybody's agreeing, not the popular just because it's popular.

  324. It doesn't mean it is the way of God. Just because it's popular,

  325. just because everybody is eating tour door, that makes that the word of God.

  326. No, right, it doesn't have to be the popular. What is

  327. God saying to us? And so many challenges will come to us, many

  328. decisions we will have to make. That's why the Lord didn't just save us

  329. and leave us and say you are on your own. No, he saved

  330. us, and He's given us this love letter and this love letter sixty six

  331. letters in hit. Take your time to read it because they're in lies life

  332. for us a man, so that we can us then, so that we

  333. can go the long haul and not you know, falter and you and I

  334. feel like you cannot la my faith shaken. No, our faith can be

  335. tested, but it doesn't have to be shaken. Jesus was tested in the

  336. time of the desert. Was he shaken? No, he was tested,

  337. but he wasn't shaken. He knew his authority in Christ. He knew his

  338. calling from God, he knew his purpose why he came, and he really

  339. lived that walk of obedience to the Lord. He knew who he was.

  340. We need to know who we are. We are a child of God.

  341. Law I want to tell you expound. Last night we had the Thanksgiving night

  342. with our teens. John, you'll be very very proud with your students.

  343. Our young people answered the question. The question was what is your identity?

  344. What have you been learning over the last four months? Can you share with

  345. us in their rawness. Their answers were just amazing. Not because we asked

  346. them to say it. No, I wanted to dig an find out.

  347. Is it you give me standard book answer, because I don't want a book

  348. answer. I say, where do you find out about the identity in Christ?

  349. I'm a child of God. I know that's the boom, But what

  350. do you call it? What do you say you know? And they began

  351. to share in their own words, what you know, Selena? Was there?

  352. What they felt? They had studied the word that means they all went

  353. through the Bible study and then they had to make their decision or their conclusion

  354. on where their identity was was anchored in. And so the question was if

  355. everything was lost, taken from you, nothing, all the fireworks gone,

  356. where do you have? And they still answered, I'm a child of God?

  357. Wow? And whatever else they shared, you would be proud to know

  358. that your teens, you know, they were able to have that discussion with

  359. Pasidena and myself on who they are and what they would stand on. So

  360. I went and why because they were studying the Word of God. They were

  361. doing Bible study. In the last four months after Chinese New Year, we

  362. had finished all the fireworks and then March came in and we all started having

  363. our small groups for our teenagers Bible study. This is what happens when we

  364. study the Word of God, but we need to continue. Amen. Sustenance,

  365. friends, Sustenance in the Word of God gives us the depth, It

  366. go deep, it causes us to grow. Why it caused us to be

  367. strengthened. And it's very important. Friends. The days are coming when you

  368. and I will have to make our decisions to either yes, follow Jesus or

  369. no, follow the world. So if we are going to be shaken,

  370. and if we are going to be not sure who our anchor is, who

  371. is our living Word that was made flesh to us, and we cannot trust

  372. God and we won't be able to make the stands to finish the race.

  373. Remember, Heaven rules towards the finishing line. This is important. But us

  374. the heaven rules, God reigns, and we are walking and running towards the

  375. finishing line. But we will not finish at the finishing line if we don't

  376. have the Word of Life, the Bread of Life, anchored deep in our

  377. spirit. Man, that no matter what comes, we know that we know

  378. that we know He is our living bread and we are anchored in him.

  379. Amen. And really we want to really meditate on this Word of God.

  380. So Church, you hear these messages. You're in year out fifty two weeks

  381. of messages, and you said you have to read the Bible. I want

  382. you to take it as if you're making sour dolla, and you read it

  383. la and tell yourself some days it's dry, but I need it. And

  384. you read verse five verse and you said, I don't understand nor don't say

  385. that. You don't understand how sourdo is going to come back, but you

  386. still tried, right, So if you can do that for sour dough,

  387. you can do that for the living word. You may not understand why the

  388. fella put her hands on the cow's head, don't worry. Read it first,

  389. because we can teach you weekend. Have Bible study, just because you

  390. don't understand why the hands on a cow's head and a cow look at you

  391. like that. You know, Yeah, the sin was imputed on the cow.

  392. Okay, the bull like Jesus took our sin imputed on him so that

  393. we can be set free. See, if you read it slowly, slowly

  394. and try it, you will get sour door finally. Unfortunately I didn't try

  395. it. So yeah, sustenance, Amen, sustenance, He sustains us.

  396. Moving on, Hallelujah. Time is flying out the power source, first as

  397. sustenance, second as power source. Where is our source of life? Amen?

  398. You know I looked at John chapter six again, just starting from chapter

  399. six, verse twenty eight. You know the people Jesus said to them about

  400. in the Jesus was telling them in the earlier verse before verse twenty eight,

  401. he said, don't labor for the food which parishes. Come on, he

  402. says, you know, but you know, labor for food that will lead

  403. to everlasting life, which the Son of God will give you, and because

  404. the Father has put a seal on it. And then the next question in

  405. verse twenty eighth, they say, Jesus, what shall we do that we

  406. may work the works of God? Wow? They were excited, they were

  407. stirred up. So tell us, Lord, how can we work the works

  408. of God like how you? And of course Jesus said, I am the

  409. brain of life. If you believe in me, you have the ability,

  410. the power sauce to work the works of God. To work the works of

  411. God means to do what Jesus did, to speak the Gospel, to live

  412. your life as assault and light, to heal the sick, to pray for

  413. those who are you know, going through very difficult times. Maybe they need

  414. deliverance. I don't know, Jesus saying, hey, I am that power

  415. sauce. So they're asking, tell us how we can work the works of

  416. God. This is this is called you need the proof producer. Allow you

  417. are to where's the proof? Where's the proof? They're saying, where's the

  418. proof? Jesus said, but I am that I am that power sauce.

  419. And they're like, oh, man, I'm gonna eat this bread and dring

  420. this blood. No right, that's tough for them. But for us today,

  421. what must we do that we may work the works of God? Friends,

  422. we need that, we need the encounter. We need that experience of

  423. God in our lives. So you say, by Heaven, why don't you

  424. try? Then he is our power. Sauce X Chapter one, verse eight

  425. says, but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

  426. Then you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judeeah,

  427. in Samaria, to the end of the earth. Jesus did not speak this

  428. just for the truelth disciples. It's for all of us that we will receive

  429. dynamite power. This word power in the Greek is dona douna mess is dynamite,

  430. dynamite power boom all right, just transforms that which comes in contact.

  431. And it says you are to be God's witnesses, to witness for the Lord

  432. in your hometown, right here in cal and nearby buttaling Jaya, all right,

  433. in Samaria and to the ends of the earth. That's the power source.

  434. It's the Holy Spirit, Church. Do not throw away your Holy spirit,

  435. doing heart, let go of Holy Spirit. Hold onto him. He

  436. lives in us. Hallelujah. That's the power that's in us in order for

  437. us to work the works of God. And then in John fourteen twelve,

  438. it says, this is what Jesus says to us. It's for us.

  439. I say this to the Lord time and again, because Jesus said, most

  440. assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works

  441. that I do, he will do also, and greater works than these he

  442. will do. Come on, everybody, say greater greater works h that I

  443. will do. You don't say greater works than these that I will do?

  444. You will do? Did you know that? That means if Jesus raised the

  445. dead, you can raise them ten times. My husband does this all the

  446. time we go for funeral. He goes to the we can see the uncle

  447. Auntie right, and I can hear him saying under his bed, Jesus,

  448. especially when they're young, rise upstanding there going like please, Lord, don't

  449. okay, I'm being faithless. You know, I believe Jesus gat but I'm

  450. okay, I'm this wife, this unbelieving wife. Jesus. Well, he

  451. really puts his faith. You need to rise up the dead law. He

  452. practices it life, he rise up. He doesn't. It's time for him

  453. to go. Thank you Jesus. Same but this doubting wife. He don't

  454. embarrass me and see me all about the embarrassment? Is it because of people

  455. will look at us and then embarrass you. I'm sorry, I'm mostly your

  456. pastor I'm real. Say my husband he would try it, or you praise

  457. the Lord? He really? How has he raised any? Did not yet,

  458. but he will keep trying. And um, it was like, yeah,

  459. you know, greater works than the sauce of the sauce, the what

  460. is the power source? The power sauce? Baby, you don't feel it

  461. yet, but it's time to practice it people, because the times are coming.

  462. Not it's coming. The birth pangs like how baby would be birth?

  463. The birth pangs of the end times is coming up. You know that economy

  464. is going hey whire, Some people went into the went into some investment rights.

  465. Some people even you know, Judge, lost a lot of money and

  466. or lost on whatever. You cannot say, this is for sure the only

  467. thing that is sures your sustenance, which is the bread of life. So

  468. therefore he has not only to be our bread, our sustenance, he has

  469. to be our power sauce. And this power sauce is not just for you

  470. to experience. Come on, Moses had an experience with the burning bush.

  471. That's why he could walk up rock up to Pharaoh and say, let my

  472. people go. God, my father is saying that everyone had that encounter.

  473. Abraham had that person I encounter with the Almighty God for him to then say,

  474. yeah, I'm going to be a father of many nations and then build

  475. a ten there and in time he you know, he had Isaac and from

  476. then on Jacob. So we all need an encounter Paul un Then Saul had

  477. an encounter with Jesus that turned his life around. Brand sisters, what about

  478. you and me? Are we just about the Okay, born a Christian family.

  479. Don't don't do this to Harper. She's born a Christian family, but

  480. she needs an encounter. Amen, Amen, right. Maya needs an encounter

  481. with Jesus. Because God has no grandchildren. He only has children. Praised

  482. the Lord, so that you and I will always be young forever we're children

  483. and children. The power source is our Father, God, who says to

  484. us, who's saying to us, said, Hey, greater works than this

  485. shall you do. But you won't be on your own. I'm giving you

  486. the Holy Spirit. The powers of His Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit alive

  487. in you and me. Every morning I tell the Holy Spirit, I say,

  488. sometimes i'm so busy, Holy Spirit, I forgot that you're there.

  489. Seriously, so much work to do, or we can even forget the Holy

  490. Spirit there to help us, because just so so much. I do have

  491. a lot. I'm doing God's work, but I can't forget that the Holy

  492. Spirit is there, and I like, I repent a lot. I'm so

  493. sorry that I got so busy I forgot to ask you that actually you could

  494. have helped me with this situation. Some days it can the business of life

  495. takes over and I stop, like forget to lean and ask Holy Spirit for

  496. help. And but when there are days when you're just walking with him and

  497. you know he's okay, how do I do this? Where do I gom?

  498. You know they are going to be tough to How do I handle this?

  499. Conversation's tough conversation. I don't like confrontation. It's Holy Spirit. Please

  500. help me. He's there helping us. If you don't start doing the small,

  501. how then you you will say I cannot do the big. This power

  502. source is with you as you go back to your work place. Guys,

  503. more of you are in the marketplace than you are full time. But if

  504. you are called to full time, there is a purpose and reason. But

  505. if you're out in the marketplace, that's why God wants you to shine a

  506. salt and light. The power source needs to flow. Someone not well try

  507. give you step up and say can I pray for you? Can I pray

  508. for you? Wow? It takes one time you do, and then you

  509. will begin to be able to do a little bit more or even ask how

  510. you feeling today? Oh? I just heard someone in your families? Can

  511. we have those conversations? Have enough of the ask God for courage. That's

  512. why the Holy Spirit, say, Holy Spirit gave me courage today to just

  513. find you know, someone in my office today needs and encouragement. Who could

  514. that be? I don't know. It could be a smile, It could

  515. be just a word that you don't know the word. But the Lord will

  516. give you a word greater works than this. You may not okay, you

  517. haven't raised the dead. You could drive the coach was deadline, raised him

  518. up. I don't want roaches, lad nor la. But yeah, you

  519. pray for the seat, then pray for the little thumb that's hurting, pray

  520. for the migraine, and and pray with all your heart full of faith.

  521. Lord, I believe you can heal. And you know we do this when

  522. we go out for mission Streep. That's why we must do our mission street

  523. right, hallelujah, Amen ha, that's what That's what happens at a mission

  524. Streep. We're so focused, we're so full on that everything happens. The

  525. healing takes place, the deliverance takes place. People get set free. I

  526. don't know why you have a wife. Because we're focused. You must make

  527. a mission strip. Come come with us, chang my oh awesome trip we

  528. had and I want to say to Umpunk the homes that took um, your

  529. guy and I out, they are so grateful and because of what you did,

  530. they took care of me and passed us so well. And they took

  531. home espresso. They've never done espresso. When they saw what you did,

  532. they took it back. When I when we went for the conference for a

  533. training session, they had sold and they laid out the table. I'm like,

  534. whoa whoo. And then then they're like, we learned this, okay,

  535. we learned this a conference, you know, and uh, and they

  536. were so blessed. But they said they remember the ape one I think it

  537. was Julie and h and uncle what's his name? Bonnie? I just texteday,

  538. where are you all right? And uh, you know, thank you

  539. so much. They said, we were so blessed, and they were just

  540. blessed at the way you took them out planned and organized. So when we

  541. went, they were already planned, organized and ten Andrew was saying, they've

  542. never done this before. Usually it ware to eat. It were to eat

  543. today, like, oh, yes, we're going here with research already.

  544. We're going here for dinner, We're going here for lunch, are you?

  545. Oh? We were blessed to be. We were overflowing, cannot eat already.

  546. So because you blessed them, exam ba who well done, well done.

  547. They was so blessed by you that they learned from you your hospitality,

  548. and they wanted to bless us. And they all gave us a send off.

  549. When we went back flying out, they all came to the airport.

  550. I thought, no need la, it's okay. All came to the airport

  551. and said in McDonald's and and we all chatted. Okay, so power the

  552. source of power. Friends, come on, it's it's not it's not fun

  553. to live mediocre. It's not exciting because you know, it's not exciting even

  554. your work. Some of you tell me how you all need a change of

  555. work law because he's boring. Really, because you know you want some fireworks,

  556. you want something new, you know, different things. So how much

  557. more your own faith in Christ? It's so really you want you want that

  558. that every day, that every day he's He's not a one day god of

  559. miracles, He's an everyday god of miracles. Some people felt some people feel

  560. like all the days of miracles are over. No, friends, Jesus is

  561. the living bread. He's the living water. So he's an everyday miracle working

  562. God. Do you need a miracle? Don't be scared to us him.

  563. I don't know even if you need fiecense ask him. Lah, yeah,

  564. yeah, we all out like I don't bother la so busy God, No

  565. need fiscense? Are going big on the floor of one church? No?

  566. Ask him? Then maybe you'll find one there. Fns so small, so

  567. small. Sometimes we need that fiscense change, but the power source Church we

  568. cannot. We won't have the more if we don't ask and we don't experience

  569. the Holy Spirit already working in us, that the greater works than Jesus did.

  570. So we must exercise of the healing the prey for the difficult thing,

  571. that situation, that the miracle that we need. You know, the result

  572. is in the Lord's hands. It's not so much results in our hands,

  573. is in God's and whatever God wants to do. But my part is not

  574. I'm going to ask you for it if it happens, if it, you

  575. know, like what like what Selena said, Yeah, it's so what if

  576. he doesn't answer, But my part is I'm going to talk to him however

  577. God wishes to answer us. I will still worship him and man, I

  578. will still experience the of the Holy Spirit. So he's our power source.

  579. Um. So many times friends healing for me, especially just the ministry of

  580. healing the reality of God healing us. So for first, practice on yourself.

  581. So I practice on myself and saw all these cists disappear. God heal

  582. the I had a bleeding problem. God heal. Sometimes got headaches, sometimes

  583. got some pain here and then sometimes just like go away, Jesus name,

  584. not my name, Jesus name. Practice on ourselves so that we can practice

  585. on others. And when I say practice means we can pray for others and

  586. believe God for his power to move. Just because it doesn't happen the first

  587. time, don't stop, try again and again and again. Right now,

  588. come on, people, I speak to the guys. Okay, her little

  589. boys, right you like one girl, you try one time, she said

  590. no, You try, second time, say no again, third time?

  591. Maybe lah, you know when you don't give up work Okay, that girl

  592. cannot right. I mean, I mean, I'm not saying gold fishing lad,

  593. but I'm just saying you pray for Sla this lady. Okay, she's

  594. rejecting me. She doesn't know what she's missing out. Then I go to

  595. the Hello, and are you praying? You know? I mean some girls

  596. just rejected you. You know they lost it? Uh right? M yeah,

  597. yeah they lost. Sorry you're lost. I'm a great man of God

  598. and man okay, so great at work? Then these will you and I

  599. do? Just do something? Take this world? Ask a lot? What

  600. must I do to do the works of God tomorrow? You're out there in

  601. the marketplace already, You're at your office. You've got a difficult boss,

  602. you've got a difficult colleague, you've got a big project, you've got a

  603. sales kapie. What is it that you can ask? Try it on yourself

  604. so that you can share it with someone else and pray with them. I

  605. got to do that. You've got to do that. It's an everyday thing

  606. for me. Every day I'm asking the Holy Spirit, no show me some

  607. some somebody I could speak to. Okay, But I end up going where

  608. I tell you why I do. I actually go to the Pallative Care sun

  609. met and we have tied up. So I get calls and I somehow got

  610. opens my window and they say someone needs you, like a chaplain to go

  611. in. Now they only have twenty four hours to live forty eight hours.

  612. I don't know how long more, but they're already in palative care. So

  613. when I prayed the press and Loo, I want something outside of the four

  614. walls, I'm really doing what I do. I want more. And then

  615. this sun Met opened up through doctor Jail's friends. So a few of us,

  616. whenever the call comes, whoever is free, we actually immediately drive out

  617. there and go. And so far only ones I couldn't, and some are

  618. another pastor did it. But most times I'll just ride out right up to

  619. the sun Sunway Hospital and go and stand with. Some are international, some

  620. are locals. They don't have a church in k l so we become their

  621. chaplain and we just helped them. True, sometimes pray for the person.

  622. Usually the person's already not able to respond, so we pray for them.

  623. We take communion with the family, and I asked God for that opportunity.

  624. Who knows when we pray that person might get healed. I gotta try.

  625. I've got to just try, isn't it. I Mean the family is so

  626. sad, they need comfort and need help. So when I when I remember

  627. praying this prayer, like what else could I do in my community? And

  628. sun met opened up and they've been calling us and you know what, you

  629. know what the reason when I went I was so shocked. The person who

  630. guide, who helped me to meet a patient's wife man was already in coma,

  631. was a Muslim nurse. I think she thinks my name is Pasta.

  632. Hi Pasta. I'm Sandra, Hi Pasta. And she took me through the

  633. whole list of what was happening to the patient, what was going on,

  634. And then I said this person from k oh Yes. I say, oh,

  635. do they have a church nearby? They do? She knows everything?

  636. She said yeah. I said, oh, why aren't they calling their own

  637. past I also want to know why she don't call it? Okay, minister

  638. dude. After I finish everything and went through this with the patients um wife,

  639. then then I called her to say I'm going by and so why did

  640. you make a change in her life? You know? She asking I would

  641. say, okay, did you did you manage to speak to her? Okay?

  642. I can't know if you speak good English, then I'm like, I

  643. hope so, I mean I won't know right because the person won't be telling

  644. me I'm fine, but I just mean it. S I pray, and

  645. it's just amazing that I can just talk with a nurse. I won't meet

  646. someone like this every day, but they now know me already. So that's

  647. why the doctor's very comfortable. Say can you just nurso? And so she

  648. will walk you through because I'm busy. You should the doctor goes in with

  649. me, but cannot, so I get to go into ice you that kind

  650. of thing, and just pray with the power source. Right, So it's

  651. I haven't raised any date yet, I haven't seen anyone, but the power

  652. source is God sends me in there a minister to the living, and I

  653. pray that hopefully those who need to rise up again will have a chance.

  654. I don't know, but the living who don't know Christ, not serious with

  655. Christ, will be serious again with Christ. Amen, think about tomorrow.

  656. You're going back to your workplace. What is it? Ask God for an

  657. opportunity draw from the power. I got the power. Okay, you got

  658. it? Amen? All right? The third point as we close, sure

  659. promise sure sure okay, as the first one as sustenance too, He's our

  660. source. And three sure sure sure promise. Why do I say, sua

  661. promise? John six forty. And this is the will of him who sent

  662. me, that everyone who sees the sun and believes in him may have everlasting

  663. life, and I will raise him up at the last day. Friends,

  664. look at this verse again, And this is the will of God who send

  665. me. Jesus says that everyone who sees the sun and believes in him may

  666. have everlasting life. How many of you have ever lasting life? Yeah,

  667. come on, you know not. You know you've seen the sun. You

  668. experienced Jesus, so you have ever lasting life, and he will raise you

  669. up at the last day. We will be raised up. So if if

  670. I'm not here anyone, because I quite already, a might something might happen

  671. to me. But you will see me in the sky maybe darn right.

  672. When Jesus comes again, we will raise us up. He says he will

  673. raise up the last day. So I tie this into Second Peter, chapter

  674. three, verse nine. Second Peter three nine that says the Lord is not

  675. slack concerning his promise? What promise that he's coming again? The Lord is

  676. not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness. But but it is

  677. long suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish, but that all

  678. should come to repentance. Come on, read that again. The Lord is

  679. not slack concerning is promised the everlasting life that he promises, as some might

  680. counted slackness from two thousand years ago, still saying Jesus coming coming, hello,

  681. not check, come why because God is patient with us, not willing

  682. that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. What is

  683. it for us? I say, sure's your promise. This is your promise.

  684. Don't lose it that you will have You have everlasting life today. You

  685. are in Christ, You accept Christ. You know He's forgiven you and me.

  686. God has forgiven us, taken all our sins, given us the righteousness

  687. in him, and He's empowered us by his Holy Spirit. Amen. And

  688. he has called us to be his witnesses. And we are walking, and

  689. we are walking with Jesus, and we're saying, let's practice our faithor let's

  690. make some sour all. Let's let's allow our lives we fill with God's living

  691. world day daily and experience His power flowing through us. So much can happen

  692. through our lives. As the Word of God lives in us. We experience

  693. the grace of God. We experience healing. We you know, we we

  694. experience his forgiveness off and on we get upset, we get angry. Howla

  695. have to practice the lords is forgive those who have trespassed against us, and

  696. then forgive that. And then also we ask God for forgiveness or sola right,

  697. and forgive those to trespass against you. You trespass against people. We're

  698. learning, we're walking in the Lord right. But the sure promise is that

  699. he never goes back on his word. And and this is it. He

  700. says, you will have everlasting life, and I will raise you up,

  701. and I will raise you up whichever way. Maybe some of you will live

  702. until the coming of the Second the second coming of the Lord. You actually

  703. see him, how you know? Bible says we're all going to see him

  704. in the sky. Well, we're living in this part of the world.

  705. Which if he's in Middle East, he's coming through the Golden Gate, it's

  706. in Israel. I think you know what it's going to be used yeng yang

  707. jang. We gonna wi fi. I don't know at the think that goes.

  708. Everybody can see all at the same time, I thinks to our hand

  709. for love, but I know technology is going to be even way better.

  710. Right, Oh, so it cannot be a Jesus is coming. Jesus coming.

  711. No, if Je's gonna come, everybody's gonna see it, and everyone's

  712. see the real Jesus and he's gonna come. So he said, I'm promising

  713. you that you have everlasting life in me. But then, come on,

  714. don't think that I'm lacking. I'm so slow in coming that you want to

  715. give up. Don't give up, don't give up. Okay, a second

  716. Thessalonians three thirteen, I think says that you're doing good. You're doing good.

  717. Don't give up. Keep doing what you're doing. Keep doing what you're

  718. doing, Keep doing what you're doing, because that is who you're called to

  719. be, being His of love and grace. Amen. I'm just thinking,

  720. when may we may? We know how the promise that we have is much

  721. more than your fixed deposit is. Who does fixosa? I don't know.

  722. I don't know, Yola and mey see a lot of things I don't have.

  723. Okay, your mutual funds, you're this fund, you're dead fund,

  724. and we're building our wealth. I want to ask, tell you, if

  725. you're building your wealth on earth, you know that it will not last.

  726. Build your wealth in the kingdom of Heaven. Seek you first the Kingdom of

  727. God, and all these things shall be added. Unto you. I think

  728. we forget what we're seeking and whose kingdom we're building. I pray that you

  729. and I are building God's kingdom, meaning that which will last, that which

  730. will last. Why do we spend money for that which will perish, but

  731. we need a labor for that which will last. So it's a reminded us.

  732. If the living Bread is living in us Jesus, the Living Word,

  733. hallelujah. He's our sustenance. If this is your greatest treasure, yeah,

  734. there is where your heart will be. So I ask us, where is

  735. our heart? Is our heart where Jesus is? Or is our heart in

  736. something else? It will culminate for us as you and I walk walk in

  737. the light, as we live in Jesus. How it will all help us

  738. to know Christ deeper and to make Christ's love known to others. Don't keep.

  739. Don't keep your precious promise to yourself. You must share with someone else.

  740. You gotta share, even if it means sharing to your own child.

  741. Moms and dad's discipling your own children. It's one of the best gift you

  742. can give your children. Amen. Matthew twenty eight says, going into all

  743. the world and make disciples. Our children can be our disciples. Don't wait

  744. for us team's ministry to do it. Who ex kids, Let's start with

  745. the parents number one. Number two, you're in your workplace, you're in

  746. your family, you're in your universities. The sustenance, the Lord who sustains

  747. is also your power source, and he has a sure promise not only for

  748. you, but for everyone who has yet to known him. He's a sure

  749. promise of everlasting life. That's our hope. Friends. I cannot preach anything

  750. else because otherwise that means I don't believe that. I don't preach it.

  751. But if that's what God has spoken to me, and this is the living

  752. world, then I want to bring hope to that other person. Oh,

  753. all of us need a little bit of hope. All of us need a

  754. little bit of heaven. We all do. We need a little bit of

  755. heaven during our exam time, we need a liver heaven. When we're doing

  756. family, we need a little bit of heaven in our business. We need

  757. a little heaven in our marriage. We need a little bit of heaven in

  758. everything that we're doing, because that is the hope we have in Jesus.

  759. And if we have been filled by it, let's scoop in a bit and

  760. share it with someone else. Amen, Just like how you share your sour

  761. or recipes online, Let's share a little bit of heaven that I, you

  762. and I experience. And even though you think it's so little, like I

  763. say, friends, I haven't raised the dead. I haven't. I haven't

  764. gotten to Comma person and I haven't. But what I have done is bring

  765. a little bit of hope to the families that are you know, broken,

  766. because some of them come, you know, come back from overseas to be

  767. with their dying parent and they haven't been with their parents. That's a little

  768. hope that I can give them, and that's when they can open their eyes

  769. again to see Jesus. Some are backs laden families. That's why they still

  770. call for a pastor. Mind you, I'm only useful when you're dying.

  771. Joke. Well, but maybe it's a reality, Joe. I'm gonna go.

  772. When people want to get married, please marry us, then they leave

  773. us, and then when they're dying, please must come and marry me.

  774. How do in between? You're going to be accountable or be my friend or

  775. you know, I want to go through the hard conversations with me, you

  776. know, so something I just feel I'm good for them. But my lad,

  777. it's okay because I have the pressure promise to share with someone. And

  778. that's what I've been doing for these past months, especially this year. I

  779. didn't during the pandemic, and so a true zoom or because I cannot be

  780. there with the person I'm talking to. This person's going to concern having twenty

  781. four hours to live and just waiting for the sun to come home wet things.

  782. What's my part? What's the sure promise that I can give to this

  783. person? I don't. I don't have the power, but I know the

  784. power, So the power source comes to them, and I want to share

  785. the sure promise to them. And that's what you and all of us can

  786. do, not just be all of us can do the sure promise that God

  787. has for each and every one of us. Don't think that God is taking

  788. too long to come back to Earth to get you and me, because the

  789. work is not done. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For
