  1. You're listening to a message to go from ex Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. I want to ask you if I ask you

  3. to think of a name for God that you have been intimate with or you

  4. know him, what would that name be? The name of God? Okay,

  5. just give me one? Just everyone shout out. What what is the

  6. name of God that you are very familiar with or that you know? Jova

  7. Rapha That means the Lord, heals great? What else? Jovahjirah means God?

  8. I'll provide? What else? Awesome? God is awesome. I don't

  9. know the Hebrew word for that, but yes, God is awesome. What

  10. else? What other words can you think of? Sorry? Shepherd? Yes,

  11. God is our good Shepherd, Thank you? Awesome? What else?

  12. What else? Savior? Thank you? Sorry? The roles of Sharon?

  13. Okay? Wow? Nice? Do y'all know that it's in your Bible?

  14. You know? What else? What other names do you know of? God?

  15. Father? Thank you? What else? What else? Abba? Father?

  16. Yes? What else? Friend? Yeah? That's from Abraham? Right?

  17. Oh, you don't know Okay, I still don't know that he Brew

  18. it okay, not he Brew scholars? What other names do you know of?

  19. God, I am who I am? What powerful? Right? Never

  20. go home some more? Okay? By the way, that's what we are

  21. learning in our homes our small group series. So please attend a small group

  22. if you haven't. And why is it important that we know God's name?

  23. What is it important? Do you want God to know your name? Yes?

  24. Right? And so how we know God shows the character of God that

  25. we are most familiar with? Right, So we always share about God.

  26. No one say God is love? Right? Did anyone say that? Okay?

  27. Did you experience that? Right? And so why it's important to know

  28. God's name is because all of God's names. I think there is at least

  29. two to three hundred names of God in the Bible, right, And so

  30. many times you're just familiar with one or two and that's about it. That's

  31. all we know of God. But do you know that God is so much

  32. more multifaceted than we can ever think of or imagine? Right? And I

  33. want to bring to you this name of God that many of us we might

  34. not really experience so much because we're not familiar with this side of God.

  35. And this is the name el should die, l should die? You heard

  36. of it? What does it mean? A God that is more than enough.

  37. God is great, all sufficient God. So another name for el Shadai

  38. is God all mighty. Yes, I'm sure you've come across that in your

  39. life. And if you're visiting X for the first time. In X our

  40. theme for this year is Heaven rules right, and it speaks a lot about

  41. God as sovereign, God, as almighty, God as all powerful. Again,

  42. we learned in homes the last week, right, what is the three

  43. nature attributes of God that we learned? Omni omnipotent means God is all powerful,

  44. almighty? What else omnipresent That means He's present everywhere? One more omniscience

  45. omissions? What does that mean? He is all knowing, very good.

  46. I'm testing you because you'll be teaching that to others. True, because it's

  47. what you know of God that you will present as a gospel to those around

  48. you from Mondays to Saturdays. So whatever day you're doing here right now on

  49. a Sunday in church is equipping ground. It's training ground. So I hope

  50. that you are ready to receive and to learn and to study because you will

  51. go out and begin to teach others. What was Jesus's greatest and last commandment

  52. to us go and make disciples of all the nations. Right. So your

  53. task and my task every day is to go out and make make disciples,

  54. teaching them to observe everything that the Lord has commanded. Were agreeable, right?

  55. Praise God? And so we want to learn about God's power. Now,

  56. I want you to just close your eyes for a moment. Close your

  57. eyes for a moment, and I'm going to say a word, and I

  58. want you to think of an image immediately pops into your mind. Are you

  59. ready? All right? Okay, so close your eyes and the word is

  60. power. Okay, you can open your eyes. Power? What image came

  61. to your mind? Sorry? Supermart Oh Superman? Superman? Superman? Okay?

  62. Power? So Superman came into your mind? What else? A tombomb?

  63. Okay, that's powerful? What else? What else? Resurrection? Power?

  64. What else? Lightning? Lightning? Has anyone been in a close encounter

  65. with the lightning before? No? Electrocuted before? Oh? No? Yes?

  66. Powerful or not? Okay, you get fired? Okay? What else?

  67. What image came to your mind? Joe? I know where your reference

  68. or power is now, Okay. I don't know whether that is all powerful

  69. or is corrupting? Power? Oh okay, let's not go there. Let's

  70. not go there. Okay, okay, so power, so the Bible tells

  71. us. So, so we want We don't have a lot of time,

  72. but I just want to go into God's nature. Right, And the first

  73. thing that we want to understand is that God is a God of power,

  74. the God that we worship every day, every day of our lives. Right,

  75. it's not a weak God. Amen, He's not weak. Many people

  76. think, right, well, God, is this like Mary her the little

  77. lamb, little lamb? Right, he's just a little lamb led to slaughter.

  78. Right, And that's sometimes the image that we have of this God that

  79. we serve, his gentle, meek and maul. But can I tell you,

  80. when Jesus comes back, he's not gonna be the weak and maul and

  81. gentle Jesus. He's gonna come back with uh sword. He's gonna come back

  82. writing on her. When when Jesus went to the cross he wrote on her,

  83. he wrote on a donkey, And that when he's coming back again,

  84. what is he gonna write on a horse? And horse symbolizes power. Do

  85. you understand that when Jesus come back, he's going to be a god that

  86. is supreme, sovereign, ruling over everything, and everything is subject to his

  87. name, and he's gonna be all powerful. And if you don't recognize God,

  88. this God, now, you will be in for a shock. You're

  89. like, huh, God is like that. Yes, God means business.

  90. Jesus is going to mean business with your life. You know, everything that

  91. you do with your life right now, and everything that has done before,

  92. and everything that's gonna happen in the coming days, you will have to account

  93. for it. Do you believe that? And Jesus is very serious? All

  94. right? So let's look at Collusions Chapter one. God is the source of

  95. our God is the source of all power, is says here. For by

  96. him all things were created. How many things, some things, ninety percent

  97. things. All things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth,

  98. visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions, or principalities or powers,

  99. All things were created through Him and for us. No I thought for us,

  100. no for him. And He is before all things, and in him

  101. all things consist, all of us living and breeding here, standing or sitting

  102. down here right now? Do you know that you are here by the power

  103. of God? The very fact that you are breeding, that oxygen is going

  104. through your ways, there is a going through your lungs. Is God's power

  105. in you? Do you know? Another thing about power is energy? Right?

  106. And if a person is dead, the first thing that you do is

  107. you check what reading you check? Most of us check breeding for la,

  108. No air means no life, No life means no more power in that body.

  109. Right. So everything that we are, even us just living and breeding

  110. like we we could be in a vegetative state. But the very fact that

  111. we are still functioning our body is God's power in us. Oh just just

  112. you know, can you just let us sink in yourself for a while?

  113. It's like God, wow? Sometimes? Right? I feel that as Christians

  114. we might feel God. You know, our idea power is something that the

  115. big thing, right, the powerful, like the God splitting the ocean into

  116. too, the race into two. Right. We think of God's power as

  117. raising the day. But do you know that our life itself is evidence of

  118. God's power. I want to show you that we are evidence of God's power

  119. every day in our lives. We might think that, oh no, my

  120. life is not Powerfuler, I'm just a normal Christian? Are you a normal

  121. Christian? The very fact that you're a Christian means you're supernatural already. Amen.

  122. The very fact that you are a believer of Christ is supernatural in itself.

  123. Right. And the thing about let me see where it is? Ah,

  124. okay, where is my word? Okay? Now, this word power

  125. in the Greek comes from this word donamis. Have youd of this? Okay,

  126. So let's go to this. Let's go to dunamis. There is one

  127. hundred and seventeen times used in a New thousand. That's a lot, right,

  128. talking about God's power. Of course, it means force, power,

  129. energy and strength. And many times it refers to the miraculous words or the

  130. morally excellent acts of God. Wow, and of people as well. Right.

  131. And so this power, this is word dunamis is is very very precious

  132. and powerful. But there is another word that comes that denotes the power of

  133. God. We only know dunamis. Right, what's the other word that we

  134. can learn? So it's this word that's called excusia. For give you a

  135. bit a Greek lesson. It's used one hundred and three times, so that's

  136. as almost as many times as the word dunamis. And it talks about power

  137. or authority that is delegated. We understand now. The first point is God

  138. is the source of all power. Agree. Okay, God is a source

  139. of power, and he's keeping all the power to himself, right is it?

  140. Do you agree with that statement? God wants to keep all the power

  141. to himself. No. So the Bible tells us in New Testament that this

  142. is what excusia is, a means of God delegating his power to others.

  143. Okay, let's see where I'm getting this from. Okay, So in Matthew

  144. twenty eight Matthew twenty eight eighteen, and Jesus came and spoke to them,

  145. saying, all authority has been given to me in heaven on earth. What

  146. does that mean? It means that Jesus' authority was given to him. Someone

  147. had to give it to him. Right, who gave it to him?

  148. God the Father? So, God the Father delegated authority to Jesus. Did

  149. he stop at Jesus? No, what's the evidence of that. Let's go

  150. to Matthew again, Chapter ten, verse one, And this is what Jesus

  151. says. Jesus says, and when he had called he's twelve disciples to him,

  152. he gave them power over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal

  153. all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. Amen. Do you know

  154. that Jesus is wanting to give you power? Amen? Do you believe it?

  155. Would you receive it? You might believe it, but you're like God.

  156. I don't want this power because I think where great powers comes great court

  157. spider Man right, And many times I find that as Christians we live as

  158. though we are weak. So I thought it was very prophetic that John started

  159. off our worship this morning by saying, we have the victory. Where are

  160. we standing from? What is our position? Guys Christians? What is our

  161. position? A position of defeat or victory? You have to believe that,

  162. because if you don't believe what position you're standing on, everything in life will

  163. be a downfall to you. Every circumstances, every trial, every tribulation,

  164. every sickness, every failure will look as though you are living in defeat rather

  165. than from a position of victory. Do you understand how important your position is?

  166. Our position? We have to understand our position. We have to understand

  167. that God is this God who is so big, So oh my, this

  168. is so awesome as you meditate on him, right, and that God has

  169. chosen you and me mere humans to delegate his authority and power. Guys,

  170. you gotta rise up in our spirits. I think there's something for us that

  171. needs to be awakened within us. Amen, there is this dunamicist that's within

  172. us, that's waiting. Right, dunamis right, we understand it. It's

  173. just power, right, correct, Dunamis is power. But another understanding of

  174. this Greek word dunamis is potential. So you have this potential within all of

  175. us, but it's not used. Let me give you an example. We

  176. all have this right, all of us like this right. So so within

  177. it there is a dynamo cha or a battery right, battery battery battery,

  178. So, battery is there, it's within it. I can choose to use

  179. it or I don't use it, as simple as that. It's within you.

  180. But it's your choice whether you want to turn it on or not.

  181. Correct, And so that's it's the potential that do not miss within us.

  182. And many times as Christians we walk around like, oh I don't know what

  183. to do. Oh I'm weak, Oh you know, I'm trapped in this

  184. and I don't know how to get out of it because many times we don't

  185. know how to activate the power of God within us. Already, it's within

  186. us. God has given us the Holy Spirit. If you believe that,

  187. say amen, the Holy Spirit is within you. Right when you accepted the

  188. Lord, you repented, you said the prayer, you asked the Holy Spirit

  189. to come within you. That is the first in dwelling of the Holy Spirit.

  190. Yes, so we all have the Holy Spirit. The question is are

  191. you activating and being filled with the spirit daily. It's different to have the

  192. battery pack inside you, right, But then none of us turn it on

  193. because we are saying, oh, okay, I didn't even know. I

  194. don't know how to turn this on. Okay, So let's learn how to

  195. turn this power of God on. Now another thing that we want to understand,

  196. so firstly, the power of God. We know that He is the

  197. source of it. Yes, And we know that God has delegated this power

  198. and authority to us. Yes, Okay. I hope that you're feeling more

  199. authoritative about what God has given us. And God has given us so much.

  200. Do you know that we are so rich in Christ? Amen? Amen,

  201. don't live in this poverty mentality that I have nothing in my life.

  202. If you are a believer, I don't care how much you have in your

  203. bank account. I don't care where you are in your career. Leather,

  204. your position is Prince. You know, do you know that you're cold air

  205. with Jesus Christ. Do you know what that even means? Co air with

  206. Jesus Christ. That means everything that Jesus has you get to have. Also,

  207. you know how good our Father is, how good God is? Amen?

  208. And so we want to to take up that position. Okay, I

  209. don't want anyone of us to feel that, Oh no, you know my

  210. situation is too big for God. Ever felt that my position, my situation

  211. is too big for God? Then I'm saying, is God God or your

  212. situation? God? Who's aboth? Who's aboth? If you believe that God

  213. is all powerful, he is el should die. That means He's above everything.

  214. And you bring your situation and you say, God, this situation is

  215. under your command. This situation is not above you, it's beneath you.

  216. And Lord you are working all things out for the good of those who love

  217. him. Amen. Amen. Remember that now the power? Then, So

  218. what is the power that we receive. So God is a source of all

  219. power. He delegates the power now to us. So what do we do?

  220. How do we experience this power? The very first one is this.

  221. Do you know that the power that we believe us receive is a game.

  222. It's an inheritance and it's a responsibility. Whoa, it's a gift. None

  223. of us can ever work for it. It's an inheritance and it's a responsibility.

  224. Let's go through what that means, all right. The very first one,

  225. the very first evidence of God's power in your life is your salvation.

  226. Can I hear an amen? The resurrection power of Jesus Christ. There's very

  227. same power that resurrected Jesus from the day. Do you know that Jesus is

  228. no longer in the tomb? Guys, Jesus is at the right hand of

  229. God right now interceding for us. Thank you Lord he is. You're not

  230. praying for yourself, all right, Jesus is praying for you. You know

  231. that. Amazing. The more you meditate upon God's goodness, you begin to

  232. realize, man, I have a lot to live for I have so much

  233. within that God is waiting to unleash. Right the power and the goodness of

  234. God. The it says in efficients to it, for by grace you have

  235. been saved, true, true good works faith, and that not of yourselves.

  236. It is the gift of God. Can you just give God praise right

  237. now? Just give God praise, Give God praise because God has given us

  238. this gift of salvation. This is the power of God that it just blows

  239. my mind when I think about it. Do you know that everyone of you

  240. seated here, if you are a believer and a disciple of Jesus Christ,

  241. that is God's power at work. This is the greatest miracle of God.

  242. Do you know that even more than raising the dead, even more than healing

  243. sickness and cancer or TV or dangy is the is the power of your salvation?

  244. Because you know what the devil is trying all he can to stop one

  245. child who is in the kingdom of darkness to come into the Kingdom of light.

  246. And the very fact that we have crossed over the greatest jurang boundary depth

  247. to come into the Kingdom of light, that is miraculous. That is God's

  248. greatest power on that. Do you know how many people have prayed for you

  249. for you to come to know the Lord. Did you know that all the

  250. people that have sown in prayer, in sweat, and in tears, you're

  251. not here by accident. None of you are here by accident. Sometimes we

  252. take our salvation for granted. We think it's it's just a prayer, right,

  253. it's just one prayer. But it's not just one prayer, because Jesus

  254. every blood and drop of sweat and his very life for you to have this

  255. living hope in Jesus Christ, Amen, the power of salvation. Do you

  256. know that sometimes we feel that it's very impossible, right, it is an

  257. impossible thing because with men it is impossible. None of us can work for

  258. our salvation. But we got all things. Ah, we call all things

  259. are possible. Remember Jesus was telling his disciples, you know, they were

  260. teaching, They were asking him, you know, who then can be saved?

  261. Because Jesus was talking about the rich young man, rich young men who

  262. had followed everything about God. He was a good guy, Hey, good

  263. guy. He followed all the rules. And then he came to Jesus and

  264. he says, what must I do to be saved? Right? And Jesus

  265. says, well, you follow everything ready, But sell everything and come and

  266. follow me. The man's like, oh, I got too much, well

  267. of sorry, Jesus, maybe another day. And so he turned to his

  268. disciples and say, it's very hard for the rich men to end to the

  269. Kingdom of God. It's like entering into a needle, like the camel entering

  270. a needle hate impossible. And that's where Jesus says with men, this is

  271. impossible, but we got all things. Ah Amen, all things are possible.

  272. You have to confess that, and you have to believe that all things

  273. are possible. Can you think of an impossible situation in your life right now?

  274. Just think about it. I'm sure there are Is there an impossible situation

  275. in your life right now? Can you just speak to it and say,

  276. with God, all things are possible, declare that we've got all things are

  277. possible. We got all things are possible. I want to share a quick

  278. story around this, and this just happened like over the weekend, right,

  279. God's power and I got to witness God's power at work. So on Friday,

  280. I receive a call from a friend and she she just broke down on

  281. the phone and she was just saying, you know, her husband has been

  282. having this relationship with a colleague, right, a female colleague that has gone

  283. beyond what is supposed to go. Right, He's talking to her late at

  284. night, sending her flowers on a birthday. I'm like, okay, this

  285. is not going great, right, And so, in fact, she has

  286. discovered this, it's been going on for two years, okay, and it's

  287. probably yeah, it's not a situation that you want yourself to be in.

  288. And so when she confronted him, and she has confronted him over a few

  289. times, and he has denied everything. He's like, no, it's just

  290. a colleague, just a colleague, just a friend. I was just being

  291. nice, right, And he became very cold, very harsh towards her,

  292. And so she was just in the positions like I don't know what else I've

  293. done. So even since two years ago, you know, when she first

  294. discovered she she's like, Okay, I don't know what's going on, but

  295. I think God is asking me to change. Guys, how many of you

  296. would say if your husband is cheating on you emotion and say no, I

  297. need to change. How many of you will do that? You basically go

  298. and bash the pallab Right, I would what is this about me changing and

  299. me being humble, and that's what she did for two years. She humbled

  300. herself, She went to God, she prayed, she faster, she cried

  301. out to God. And when this last straw happened, she's like, I

  302. don't know what else to do, but I am at peace. I am

  303. at peace, but I don't know what to do, and I'm seeking counsel

  304. right now. So I just told her, girl, this is something no

  305. counseling can change. No counseling, even if you're the best professional counselor or

  306. coach, whatever it is, will not changing because he has shut off because

  307. I sense, you know, when I was talking to her, and before

  308. I say, he has no fear of God. They are Christians, he

  309. has no fear of God in his life, right, And because he has

  310. no fear, he's like, I can do anything I want. And you've

  311. been putting up with this for the last two years. Just continue putting up

  312. with it, right, And so I just say, we just need to

  313. pray and ask God for what to do next, because I don't know what

  314. to do next, honestly, And she was gonna confront him again, right,

  315. And so so with all these things, that, she says. She's

  316. like, I'm broken, I'm lost, I'm disheartened. I just don't know

  317. what else to do, okay, And so we just prayed. I say,

  318. we just need God to come in right now, and God needs to

  319. intervene because no one else can with a hardened heart. Only God can soften.

  320. Right. So we pray, and I was a bit uneasy about this,

  321. really really uneasy about this. I was like, God, your power,

  322. God, we need you to show up. Twenty four hours later,

  323. she's at the brink of despair. Okay, she said, the brink of

  324. despair. She's like, my child. They have a child, and the

  325. child is really sensing. Do you know that your child knows picks up everything

  326. that's going on. You can't be a fool, okay and think that,

  327. oh yeah, just because we don't argue in front of the kids, the

  328. kids don't know. So so the child is aware of what's happening. And

  329. things had been very, very full of friction at home and tension. Right.

  330. So, twenty four hours later I received a text, so she said.

  331. When I confronted him, I was just at total calm and peace.

  332. I didn't raise my voice, and I'm like God, that's you at work

  333. right. Any sane woman will probably be scratching somebody ready or or I don't

  334. know, throwing some things. She's like, I was just at peace.

  335. I just told him. She said that I was in my room and I

  336. cried before the lord. After shower. I just went to him and said,

  337. I forgive you, give you. He didn't ask for forgiveness. You

  338. know, he was still cold, he was still not talking to her.

  339. He's like, I don't care about you. And she just repented and just

  340. asked him for forgive and said I released forgiveness and the balls in your court.

  341. And in that moment, he actually broke down and cried and he cried

  342. and he cried and he cried, and he he said, Okay, look,

  343. I think I have wronged you and and we need to make this right

  344. right, and we need to go seek counsel, look for a marriage counselor

  345. whatever it is. And then she said that I don't know how this is

  346. possible, but the impossible has happened. Amen, the impossible has happened in

  347. twenty four hours. I'm like, God, I've never seen this in my

  348. entire marriage counseling session before. Usually it's like, Okay, yes, there

  349. is time to heal, and there's time to work things out. Yes that's

  350. all that. But for a man to have his pride broken, and I

  351. believe that's only by the power of God. Amen. And this is God's

  352. business, guys. His business is in restoring broken relationships. His business is

  353. in healing people, not just healing in your physical body, but healing of

  354. that relationships that is so precious to God. Do you see the power of

  355. God at work here? Just like that. I'm like, I was bored

  356. over. I was like, God, this is just evidence of you working.

  357. Can we say that God is dead, He's alive. He's alive working

  358. in your lives and my lives even right now, because God wants to save

  359. us, and not just save us from What is God saving us from?

  360. By the way, do you know this? I'm not sure. Let me

  361. ask you what is God saving us from our sins? Sometimes we think that

  362. God is saving us from hell? Right? Do you know that that's just

  363. a bonus? God is actually salvaging us from the sin that causes death.

  364. Right. And so now we have the power of God. Whish goes to

  365. my second point. We now have the power of living a godly life?

  366. And what does it say in Second Peter One Tree It says this, as

  367. his divine power has given to us some things? Is it some things?

  368. Read your Bible, Papa, Is it some things? It's all things.

  369. God has given us all things, everything that we need that pertain to life

  370. and godliness through the knowledge of Him who caught us by glory and virtue.

  371. Do you know that we have everything, every power in our lives to live

  372. godly life? Do you know that? Question? For you? Can you

  373. live a sinless life? Truck question? Right? We can go into the

  374. whole theology around it, but do you believe that you have what it takes?

  375. You know, when God set us free, right, the power of

  376. God it was to set us free. The freedom that we have is we

  377. have the freedom not to sin. I want you to just let us sink

  378. for a while. Do you know that you now, as the believer of

  379. Jesus, have the freedom and the power to not sin? Yes, because

  380. we have broken free from the penalty of sin. And so now the battle

  381. that we have every day. You know, if you're non Christian, right,

  382. there is no battle. You're on the defeated site. Ready, you

  383. are constantly defeated because there is no Holy Spirit. There's nothing to help you

  384. make that choice. I can choose not to sin, but as a believer,

  385. as bearers of the Holy Spirit, every day now becomes a battle of

  386. choice to say I will look at that porn site or not. And now

  387. you have that power activated within you to say I'm going to ask that I'm

  388. going to get out of here. Christians, you have this. It's not

  389. will power, guys. Yeah, it's different. Yes, some people have

  390. very strong willpower, but willpower can bring you that far. The rest of

  391. it is Holy spirit power. It really is. Holy Spirit has been given

  392. to us to live a godly life. Think about your life right now.

  393. If someone looks at your life right now, and they will say, wow,

  394. that's a reflection of Jesus. Wow, that's a godly life. I

  395. like the way you are talking to people. I like how you're treating others.

  396. I like the way you are serving. I like the way that you

  397. are giving of your finances, of your time, of your talent, of

  398. your treasure. Do they see God in us or not? Guys, when

  399. people look at our lives, do they see God at work or do they

  400. see us at work, striving, striving, striving so hard, you know,

  401. using all our efforts, all our strength, all our connections, so

  402. that we can be successful in this life. Do people see God in our

  403. lives? Do people see that when I am nothing? You know, when

  404. I'm beaten, when I'm down, when I'm thrown and unfair cut in life?

  405. And many of us have unfair cuts in our lives. When right,

  406. when you are given a bad hand in life, what do you do?

  407. You try? You try, you try? Right, many of us miss

  408. the surrendering of that cut and say, God, you see my card,

  409. I show you my cut. Nah, God you know it? And God,

  410. you think God doesn't know you already see his omission? Right, He

  411. knows everything, and he's like, it's okay, you wait, the right

  412. cut will come. And the right cut has come. And his name is

  413. Jesus. Do we believe that everything that we see is just on the surface?

  414. But is there a deeper knowledge of God? Which is my next point

  415. is this God has given us the power of knowing him and knowing his power.

  416. Let's go to Ephesians chapter one and he says this, right, I'm

  417. gonna read quite a bit of efficiens and I encourage you to read this for

  418. yourself, because you will begin to If you put on the lenses and you're

  419. looking for God's power right, you will see you begin to see it all

  420. come alive. In the Scriptures Ephesians one, chapter seventeen to twenty one,

  421. he says that the God of our Lord, Jesus Sus Christ, the Father

  422. of Glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the

  423. knowledge of him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, you know that

  424. these are all gifts of God. He's given us his wisdom, revelation.

  425. He's given us understanding that you may know what is the hope of His calling?

  426. What are the riches of the glory of his inheritance? In the Saints,

  427. tell your neighbor, I have an inheritance. Do you know what your

  428. inheritance is? In verse nineteen, he says, and what is the exceeding

  429. greatness of His power towards us who believe according to the working of His mighty

  430. powers which he works in Christ, when he raised him from the date and

  431. seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality

  432. and power and might, and dominion, and every name that is named,

  433. not only in this age, but also in which is to come a man.

  434. Amen, are you excited? Excited? Let's read on what else is

  435. God giving us verse four in Emphician chapter two. But God, being rich

  436. in mercy because of the great love with which He loved us even when we

  437. were dad in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ. Amen,

  438. by grace you have been saved, and raise us up with Him and seated

  439. in us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, so that

  440. in the coming ages He might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness

  441. towards us in Christ Jesus. Amen. And this one is something that we're

  442. all familiar. We love to quote these ephicients three twenty. Now to him

  443. who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think,

  444. according to the power that is at work within us. Is that power I

  445. work within you to him the glory in the Church, by Christ Jesus,

  446. to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Amen, Amen, I want

  447. to come back to this illustration right. So we have the power, and

  448. all of us have twenty four hours? Right? What do we do with

  449. this power that we have, the time that we have, the remaining days

  450. that we have, I say remaining because we don't know how many days we

  451. have left. How are you using your days? Right? So we have

  452. this power, and sometimes we go around the whole day, right, And

  453. the thing about it is, I don't know what are you using your power

  454. for? We use our power, but what do we use it for?

  455. Okay, that's something for you to think about. Like God has everything that

  456. I used. The applications that I choose to use have brought you glory.

  457. Ooh, maybe they're a lot absinal lives that needs to go. Ooh.

  458. Time to clean up some apps guys, because they are distracting you. They

  459. are draining you. I don't know what your epps are doing to you.

  460. You know, think about it. This is something that we look at all

  461. the time. Right, So I'm just gonna use this lustian as our lives.

  462. Our energy, our power is used up so much, and I think

  463. some games take up a lot of energy. I don't know. And then

  464. we realize that sometimes, right, we walk around with a five percent energy

  465. left battery and you one of your experience that before maybe nowadays not so much.

  466. Nah. But when we first had our Nokia three to one zero ah,

  467. okay, oh the Butterfly one. We walk around and when it's like

  468. five percent, what do you do you penny? Right? Oh? You

  469. know o killer some people who are you know, we walk around with five

  470. percent as Christians sometimes and we go, hey, wondering why my life are

  471. so so weak? So weak five percent? And the immediate thing that we

  472. will do is what any irrational person will do, is what charge? So

  473. you you bring look for your charger, right, and then what do you

  474. do when you're looking for you You can just charge by yourself? Is it

  475. plug in? Okayay? So I plug you know, okay, like that

  476. chage red is it chocodia? I'm charge what I got a connector? I

  477. got a charger, saws. I need to look for the sauce. Okay,

  478. let's where's where's the sauce? Okay? We go looking for the sauce,

  479. right, and then we plug in and then we say, oh,

  480. no charge you read oh oh you're in the same generation as me. Huh.

  481. Still need to turn on on right? It's charging yay. But many

  482. of as Christians, we walk around with a five percent battery pack. And

  483. then we go like, hey, why why am I? Why is my

  484. life not reflecting God's glory, God's power? Why do you think it's like

  485. that because you didn't go look for the source of power? Right? And

  486. who's the source of power? God? Can I just impring this into your

  487. mind and your heart? Every time you come across any situation that is beyond

  488. you quickly look for that source. Can you quickly look for the source?

  489. Bring God into your workplace, Bring God into your presentations, Bring God into

  490. your marriage, Bring God into your friendship, Bring God into your parent thing.

  491. Many young parents they come, Oh, you know, it's so tiring,

  492. I don't know what to do. I want to give out everything.

  493. Really, bring God in. Don't you know that he's the one who gave

  494. you the child and here's the one who can help you raise this child.

  495. So why don't we go to the source? And when you try everything,

  496. every self help, gurule, you do whatever, whatever you want to learn

  497. is there. But we forget that the ultimate source of all life, all

  498. wisdom, all understanding is where God. And you know God, right,

  499. it's not somewhere where I can only come to this point and get charged.

  500. I can only come to x Umbug on a Sunday and get charge. You

  501. think God's like that. Of course, this is a great charger. Okay,

  502. x I'm from You're a great charger. You come here, get charge?

  503. Right, You feel the electricity, goose bumps, you get filled up

  504. in your power on a Sunday and that way, you know, we go

  505. away on Sunday feelings so revived. But do you know that God is everywhere.

  506. He's a charger, right, He's a source of power that you don't

  507. have to go and look or only in this place. Is it at the

  508. very moment of help that you eat him? You say, God, I

  509. need you right now, boom. You need to be open for the power

  510. to flow. Do you know many times you can block God's power from flowing.

  511. Do you know God, It's just waiting waiting for you to ask?

  512. But we never asked? Why don't we ask? God is just waiting.

  513. He's like, I have all the answers, you know, I have all

  514. the gifts. You know, I have all these things that I want to

  515. reveal to you. You know, it's like God, it's just like come

  516. turn to me, Come come, and you're like, okay, let's let's

  517. look somewhere else and some else, you know, like sheep, bad bed

  518. bed. You know you're going, you know, shit, very bordering.

  519. Okay, by the way, if you don't know what that means, it's

  520. very stupid and as an animal, right, have you seen the video kid

  521. before you know you saved the ship? Right, it fell into a long

  522. tongue, which is a drain. The moment you lift it up, right

  523. in a moment, he runs and he jumps back in again. That's that's

  524. us. We love ditches. We just love ourselves into another ditch, all

  525. very nice and comfortable. So so we go around looking for other things,

  526. other sources, not knowing that we have we have God to pluck into.

  527. And then we need to turn on right, and turn on can mean a

  528. lot of things for all of us. It can mean just saying, Holy

  529. Spirit, you take over. I'm gonna submit myself unto you. And many

  530. times I realize why God's power doesn't flow through us is because there's a lot

  531. clog. If you think about it as a channel, right, a channel

  532. for God's power. Do you know that we are just a channel of God's

  533. power and blessing? We are that channel right? But what happens when your

  534. channel is blocked with a lot of junk? Let your nose right. We

  535. all can breathe so nicely, but you have your flu and your sinus right

  536. stuck with a lot of mucus, So you need to wash it out,

  537. clean out. And a lot of times God's power is not evident in our

  538. lives because there's a lot of junk, and he can't work through junk.

  539. He wants to get rid of that junk first. Are there any junk in

  540. our lives that you know God is not pleased with? If you really sincerely

  541. desire God's power to be evident, it's like God, use me, use

  542. me, God, whatever I have used me, unclock me. Remember God

  543. has given us the power to live a godly life. Don't you want a

  544. godly life? A godly life and a happy life is very different. I

  545. see you're nodding because you know what I mean. A godly life and a

  546. happy life is very different. I heard this precher say once, and I

  547. want to quote him. He says, many Christians want God, you know,

  548. to bless us, and we want, you know, we want to

  549. live this earth a happy life, and we think that when I meet Jesus,

  550. when I'm in heaven, then I will live a holy life. Right,

  551. So happiness first. God in this life, give me everything I want,

  552. everything I need, you know, because you're good. If you don't

  553. give me, you're not good. We live our lives as Christians wanting a

  554. happy life on earth and thinking that we want to live a holy life in

  555. heaven. But God has it the other way around. God is saying no,

  556. no, no, no, no, you got it all wrong.

  557. I want you to live a holy life here on earth, in this sinful,

  558. corrupted world, so that you become my evidence of My power, so

  559. that you will live a happy life later on when you're with Jesus. Amen.

  560. It takes a bit of a change in perspective. Right, do you

  561. desire to live a godly life? God? I want to live a godly

  562. love. What does that mean? You're going to find out ask God what

  563. that means? Okay. And finally, the thing about power is, and

  564. I think this is probably one of the most important things. Why do you

  565. want God's power in your life? Who is it for? Because ultimately the

  566. last point is the power that God gives us is to flow in us.

  567. But through us. It flows out of us so that it can impact us.

  568. If you're one thing and desiring God's power just for yourself, wow,

  569. just so that I can become famous, I can become the most you know,

  570. influence, the most famous influencer, so that I can have power and

  571. riches and glory for myself. Sorry, you know what happened to the king

  572. Nebukenizer. I'm sure you heard a lot about the message. Ready, when

  573. he wanted all of the power for himself, God humbled him and he ate

  574. grass like a cow until he said, and he came to his realization that

  575. God, all power, all glory, all honor be unto you. And

  576. the power that God wanted to flow through king was so he could bless his

  577. nation, the people, the kingdom. So ask God, what is the

  578. motive of me one thing? This is God's power. Many of us want

  579. to experience God's power. Right? Is it for your glory or for his

  580. glory? His glory? And I love this and I'm gonna end with this

  581. in X chapter one, verse eight, this is what Jesus means, right,

  582. he says, But you will receive power. Do na miss the very

  583. same way that we've been talking about when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and

  584. you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samarah, and

  585. to all the ends of the earth. What is the purpose of God's power

  586. So that we can be witnesss Amen, So that we can be witnesses to

  587. God's power. I believe in the case of my friend, as God begins

  588. to heal their marriage, one day they will share and give a testimony of

  589. how God can turn around such a broken relationship and restore that it's not about

  590. them, you know, It's about how willing they are to come under the

  591. submission and allow God to heal that relationship. And that is a witness of

  592. God's power. Amen. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For
